Transcript
- 0:01Hello folks. This is Princess.
- 0:03You are listening to the Millennial Mustard Seed Podcast.
- 0:06Thanks for listening. Don't forget to share with your
- 0:09friends. That's tough.
- 0:11We're in a very tough spot. I think that what we're doing
- 0:15right now is a great benefit and virtue because it's an end
- 0:19around between this whole corrupt informational system,
- 0:23media system. We claim to believe in a God who
- 0:27spoke the universe into existence.
- 0:29And literally raised himself from the dead.
- 0:32And yet we're not going to believe that anything else
- 0:35exists in the spirit realm, even though his word tells us that
- 0:38they do. Their bodies weren't permitted
- 0:41to go to sleep like humans do, and they weren't permitted to go
- 0:45to heaven. So they wander the earth.
- 0:49You know, I've seen the eyes turn black to unknown tongues
- 0:52being spoken. These giants would love way up
- 0:56in the Highland. The young Braves, the young men
- 0:59would hide up in the trees and wait for one of these 12 footers
- 1:02to come walking down the path, and they would jump on them and
- 1:05kill them, drag them back to the village and the village would
- 1:08feast on the body. Freedom.
- 1:15Then people start to get weapons.
- 1:16They start to get armor. They start to build cities.
- 1:18They start to fortify their cities.
- 1:20Now God looks down and there's violence everywhere.
- 1:24The battle, this war that we are at, is not against each other.
- 1:28It's against these principalities and these rulers
- 1:30and these archons in the high places.
- 1:32It's really worthwhile to read the Bible yourself.
- 1:35Fear is one of the primary drivers of mind control, because
- 1:40we have to take every thought captive and resist fear.
- 1:47You're going to have a testimony.
- 1:49That is a justice case against the Kingdom of Darkness.
- 2:11Welcome back to the Millennial Mustard Seed Podcast.
- 2:13I'm your host, Rod, and thank you for being here with me again
- 2:16for another awesome episode. I am joined by Carly for a part
- 2:22three and this episode. It is one for the records.
- 2:25Wow. We dive into all kinds of
- 2:27different topics, but more importantly, we share our hearts
- 2:32about the relationship with God, talking about the everyday
- 2:35experiences, revelation, prayer, life and love, being the
- 2:40greatest of the commandments, and how honoring and loving
- 2:44other people really is causing the ripple effect to go out.
- 2:48And to grow and to increase and to change all of those things
- 2:52that have been stagnant because love has not been introduced
- 2:55into the body the way that we believe it should be.
- 2:59Being it is the greatest commandment.
- 3:01And we're hoping this is very helpful for you guys listening.
- 3:05We have gotten a ton of responses, emails from all
- 3:09around the world about Carly's journey and her testimony us
- 3:13painting the picture. Which we believe this is what
- 3:16the church should be doing. We should be having these
- 3:18vulnerable situations, but we should also be willing to
- 3:22testify of the goodness of God. And you're going to find a lot
- 3:27of that here on this episode. So you guys leave me that five
- 3:31star rating and review. That's how you help the show
- 3:34grow. You help the algorithms that way
- 3:37and also share this episode and any other episode here on the
- 3:40mustard. See with a friend, family
- 3:41member, Co worker. Share it with your pastor.
- 3:44That's how you help us reach more people just like us.
- 3:47And in the details in the show notes, you guys can find the
- 3:51links to help us in our time of need.
- 3:53You can find the website, you can find the e-mail address if
- 3:56you'd like to reach out to me. We've had more listeners
- 3:58reaching out upon request, and we're honored to be getting in
- 4:02contact with more people like us.
- 4:04And we also have some returning guests to stir the pot a little
- 4:08bit that you guys will certainly enjoy.
- 4:11And there are some new. People that we've gotten in
- 4:14contact with that are getting scheduled to come on the Mustard
- 4:18Seed for Season 5, which starts January of this coming year.
- 4:24We are definitely going to send out the ripple effect and stir
- 4:29some stuff up with what is planned.
- 4:31But for right now, I am excited to jump into this episode, this
- 4:36part three with Carly and I'm ready to go.
- 4:39Are you guys ready? Let's go.
- 4:56This is Carly Tubbs and welcome to the Millennial Mustard Seed
- 4:59Podcast. Carly, that was an awesome
- 5:04introduction and it is great to be back with you for a Part 3
- 5:09Amen. I'm happy to be back.
- 5:11Thanks for having me. Yeah.
- 5:13So we've had quite a journey this far, yes.
- 5:17Yeah. Fair to say.
- 5:19We've been diving into the deep end of the pool here and it's
- 5:23just really great to be back with you because I know your
- 5:26relationship with the Lord really does model what the
- 5:31body's relationship should look like in the sense of it is very
- 5:35personal and we have encounters. That we're not ashamed to talk
- 5:39about. And I'd like to see that become
- 5:41more common in the body. Me too, Yeah.
- 5:44Before we really jump into it, let me just ask you what's new
- 5:48recently. Did you do anything cool?
- 5:50Were you traveling by chance at all?
- 5:53I was. I went to MM.
- 5:54Hmm. I went to the Bride tribe
- 5:57advance. It's a conference retreat with
- 6:01Bride Ministries, But they don't call it a retreat because we
- 6:04don't retreat, we advance. That's this is how the story
- 6:08goes. So I hear.
- 6:10And it was in Houston. It was a beautiful time. 14 of
- 6:14my family members were there. And that was just such a
- 6:17blessing to have such a large cohort of of us to to partake in
- 6:23all the just the blessing and the time in the Lord, the time
- 6:27of fellowship, just to see the body of Christ at liberty.
- 6:30And even the weirdness, you know, because if you know bride,
- 6:35it's not your standard Christian formulaic ministry.
- 6:39They're helping people who are in deep, deep bondage.
- 6:43And when they get liberty, they're not afraid to be weird
- 6:45for Jesus. And it's not to say it's that
- 6:47Holy Ghost, Holy Roller. Remember the 80s?
- 6:50There was that movement and people would be like thrashing
- 6:52around and it was real, real wild, I think.
- 6:56I think Benny Hinn was one of the people that comes to mind.
- 6:58But anyway, I don't mean that kind of weird.
- 7:00I just mean like free, free to cry, free to laugh, free to run
- 7:05around with the banner and just at liberty.
- 7:09And the Lord we're supposed to have joy, we're supposed to feel
- 7:13oneness. And it was a lot of that.
- 7:15And it's nice that the Lord has made a home for people who have
- 7:20ventured through the woo woo with Jesus and without him that
- 7:24you can come together. And it's it's freedom, it's nice
- 7:28feel, feeling of oneness and freedom.
- 7:32So that was we got back on Sunday the 12th.
- 7:36That's awesome. Yeah.
- 7:39Hopefully someday in the future, Lord willing, I can go and just
- 7:44get crazy and be free and have fun and chill with all of you
- 7:48guys at one of the advancement retreats that well.
- 7:52You know what I mean? It's not really retreat because
- 7:54we're advancing, but hard to say it.
- 7:57It sounds awkward to the tongue, doesn't it?
- 7:59Yeah, it's like, well, that's not really what's happening, but
- 8:02why are we calling it that? So, I mean, that's so cool.
- 8:05I know Dan will be on very soon, actually next couple days.
- 8:10So definitely interesting to be able to connect with him again.
- 8:15So for the listeners, you guys will hear this one and then be
- 8:19expecting Dan's episode to drop. In the very near future.
- 8:23But tonight, Carly, we are gonna get into a wild conversation
- 8:28that is unplanned and we are winging it.
- 8:30Yes, once you've heard me right, this is how it goes.
- 8:33Best every time is just being ourselves, coming together and
- 8:37talking about listen, this is what God's doing in my life.
- 8:41This is whatever gift we have. You know, I've been working
- 8:44with, you know, some people that are seers or prophetic in nature
- 8:48and just to hear like their heart.
- 8:51But how It's it's one spirit, one truth, but a diversity of
- 8:57gifts. And so it's like we're we're all
- 8:59worshipping God, lifting up the name that is above all names,
- 9:02Yeshua Hamashiach. But to see the individual gifts,
- 9:05Carly, this is fascinating. It's a blessing.
- 9:11So let's talk a little bit about your gift.
- 9:13I mean, one of the comments that did come through, we're going to
- 9:16shout out to Hulk, please don't smash Hulk, but.
- 9:21You had commented and and said how fascinating it was Carly's
- 9:26relationship with the Lord is and, you know, just kind of what
- 9:29you do. Like, how do you enter in and,
- 9:31you know, how do you advance to that place where it's so
- 9:34personable and there's just so much trust in the Lord.
- 9:38So I'm going to hand the mic over to you, Carly, and just,
- 9:41yeah, just give us an overview. If you can kind of paint a
- 9:44picture of what that looks like and help some of us along the
- 9:47way here, it's a difficult thing to present as a formula that can
- 9:52be replicated. This is where I struggle.
- 9:54When I read that comment, I I thought about it on and off for
- 9:57really over a month, and it's hard to present it in a way that
- 10:03somebody else can replicate because it's so personal.
- 10:06Like I was telling you off air, it's it's so intimate and
- 10:10personal that even though we're all Christians, our walk with
- 10:14him isn't the same. I'm my husband's wife, but I'm.
- 10:18I couldn't be the wife I am for some other person because that's
- 10:21a totally different person. And I guess the kind of tongue
- 10:25in cheek thing that I could say is that I just literally had to
- 10:29die a lot. I had to die over and over
- 10:32again. I had to die to my ideas of who
- 10:35God is and the limits I placed on him.
- 10:37I had to die to who I thought I was and the limits I placed on
- 10:42myself. I had to set aside childish
- 10:48things, attitudes just so much. And you know, part of the story
- 10:55for me is really getting severely church hurt and having
- 10:59nothing to stand on except Jesus is Lord and God is good and the
- 11:04Lord had to build me back up from that place.
- 11:07But these aren't, these aren't necessarily things that somebody
- 11:10could go looking for. Like Hulk is not going to go out
- 11:13there and look to get severely injured by church leadership
- 11:16just so he. Can have a great.
- 11:17That's the only way for this to work, right?
- 11:21Right. So I I think my best advice
- 11:26would be just keep going. Don't retreat, keep spending
- 11:32time in the word. Be willing to lay down the
- 11:35parameters you set on God and what He can be to you
- 11:39personally. Read the word.
- 11:42Get around people who love the Lord too and intentionally
- 11:46invest in those relationships. One thing that has gone a long
- 11:51way in my life is my close circle of friends and family,
- 11:55because we get together every week, every Sunday, and we eat
- 12:00and our kids play and we fellowship.
- 12:04We talk about what's good. And we've been doing this every
- 12:07Sunday for four years. There's no leader.
- 12:10We just come together. We're not even being very formal
- 12:14about, oh, what's the scripture of the week?
- 12:17What we do is we talk about what's good, and we have
- 12:20struggled through things together.
- 12:23And in doing that, we have seen the faithfulness of God show up
- 12:28in each other's life, which builds our faith in God.
- 12:31So when I'm down and out and struggling, I can remember what
- 12:34my sister went through. I can remember what my friend
- 12:37went through because we've walked heart to heart for years
- 12:41and it gives me strength. And really to know the Lord is
- 12:49to know other people intimately, and to know other people
- 12:52intimately is to know the Lord because we are the revelation of
- 12:56him. At the at the conference I was
- 12:59just talking about my husband had a revelation.
- 13:01He's I too have had this struggle where I'll see the
- 13:06Lord, I'll see Jesus, he'll appear to me.
- 13:09I'll meet him in the spirit. Many different things.
- 13:12But I almost never see his face clearly.
- 13:15And my husband and I in our group here that went to the
- 13:18advance, we're talking about this like, yeah, we haven't
- 13:20either, you know. And then my husband's eyes were
- 13:24opened. I don't remember if it was at
- 13:27night or whatever, but he said he saw Jesus's face and he
- 13:32looked like every one of us. His his facial features weren't
- 13:36static and it just made him realize that we are the
- 13:42revelation of Christ and the earth, and He is the revelation
- 13:45of us. This is how we inherit him and
- 13:47he inherits us. And it's and it goes even to the
- 13:51very basic level of appearance. And I think while in part what
- 13:56the Lord was showing my husband was symbolic.
- 13:59You know, what does the Bible say?
- 14:01The greatest of these is love, right?
- 14:05And when we look at each other, we have to recognize that we're
- 14:08seeing an expression of Yeshua. And that's where honor comes in.
- 14:13Because without honor, the enemy can just run roughshod on
- 14:19relationships. But when you truly honor other
- 14:22people, it is a protective force.
- 14:24It's another weapon of the Kingdom of God.
- 14:26Just like I spoke about a while ago, about vulnerability, Honor
- 14:30is very much the same way, and so is love.
- 14:34My sister-in-law said years ago, stuck with me so hard, I've seen
- 14:38it over and over again. Love is the weapon the enemy
- 14:41never sees coming, literally cannot see it.
- 14:44And love protects and binds and catches the enemy in his own
- 14:50gallows. So I know that's not really a
- 14:56straightforward answer, but I just say to you, keep going,
- 15:01keep going, keep seeking the Lord, keep spending time with
- 15:04him in worship, partner with people who have a good
- 15:07relationship with the Lord and build those relationships.
- 15:12So many things came to mind when you were speaking there.
- 15:14What a great way to answer that, because honestly, it's like you
- 15:19gave the template. Seek ye first the Kingdom,
- 15:22right. Get in the word.
- 15:24Follow after the word and let everything else fall into place.
- 15:30And I loved what you said about dying to self.
- 15:33You know, we did joke off air, you know, 15 minutes ago about,
- 15:37you know, death boot camp for 15 years on replay and like, hey,
- 15:41like here I am now like I. And it's so true, because we
- 15:46really do have to die to ourselves.
- 15:48And it's not just like one time. It's the Apostle Paul in the New
- 15:51Testament talks about. I wrestle the flesh daily.
- 15:55Yeah, and I lost a lot. I lost that wrestling a lot.
- 16:00Yeah. It wasn't like the string of of
- 16:03like, measurable victories over my flesh.
- 16:06There were. Exactly.
- 16:09There's a old song by Donnie McClurkin.
- 16:12Remember that one? I'm I'm not going to sing it
- 16:14good because I have a cold right now.
- 16:16But it's like, we fall down but we get up for a St. is just a
- 16:22Sinner who fell down but got back up.
- 16:28And that's just the thing about it.
- 16:30Hold on. No, wait.
- 16:31You're telling me you didn't sing good because you have a
- 16:33cold? That was amazing.
- 16:34I was, I'm sure. That was I have a cold I'm not
- 16:36going to sing. I'll sound like a broken plate
- 16:39and opera being played backwards at the same time.
- 16:42It's just not going to be good if I try.
- 16:43But that's just The thing is you have to just keep getting back
- 16:47up. Just because you failed doesn't
- 16:50mean you're a failure. Well, and I think that's the
- 16:52battlefield of the mind. Like a lot of the times, people,
- 16:55you know, the religious spirits and this battle that takes place
- 16:58where. The the accuser of the brethren
- 17:01is shooting fiery hours at most people's minds, saying you're
- 17:05not worth it, look what you did and it's like, yeah, get back up
- 17:10and keep pressing in. You know, I was talking earlier
- 17:13with friend and brother in Christ, and I'm saying to him,
- 17:16it's God who started this good work in US.
- 17:19We'll bring it to completion. So obviously right now is not
- 17:23completion, right? Like there's a process taking
- 17:26place. Like it is taking place and and
- 17:29we are being captured up into this love story.
- 17:33You know that this love story of God and him doing what it is
- 17:38that only he can do, Making a way, paying the price, calling
- 17:42us out of darkness. You know, it's like there's no
- 17:45weapon formed against us that shall prosper, no?
- 17:48No Angel, no demon, no alien, no nothing can snatch us from the
- 17:53hand of him who was loved. And it's like if we were a
- 17:57little bit easier on ourselves. And I'm saying this for a
- 18:00listener out there, like if if you want to know how to go
- 18:02deeper, like Harley said, die to yourself.
- 18:05And when you don't die, like recognize and learn from that.
- 18:08You know the Greek word for training, Guganzo, and it means
- 18:13intense, intermittent training sessions.
- 18:18And like, that's how we should kind of be approaching this.
- 18:20So really, you just lighten my heart by sharing, you know,
- 18:24Carly, the fact that it's like, hey, this is a process and and
- 18:28your whole Sunday family dinner thing, like talking about what's
- 18:31good, Oh my gosh, somebody needs to like literally do like a
- 18:34what's good Sunday and just. Making a thing?
- 18:37Yeah, I'll do a. T-shirt and it's get it out
- 18:41there and and talk. Yeah, there's power in the
- 18:44tongue, you guys. OK, Carly, keep going because I
- 18:47know you have something here. So yeah, the Sunday thing I if I
- 18:50could spread one message. Well, Jesus knows I couldn't
- 18:54narrow it down to one. But I would say this.
- 18:57If you have a group of friends that are believers, get together
- 19:01as often as you can and make it something that you do every
- 19:05however often you do it and share your heart.
- 19:08Be open, be vulnerable, cry, be ugly, be whatever you got to be.
- 19:12You don't have to come with the right answers.
- 19:15You don't have to always know. Many of our meetings we
- 19:17sometimes man sometimes, you know sometimes one of us would
- 19:21be on struggle bus and it would be real and we do it with just
- 19:25US women. The men meet in behind the
- 19:28garage in this like finished part of the garage.
- 19:30So we don't we don't do men and women mix because our needs are
- 19:33different. The way we talk to each other is
- 19:35different. But the men have been meeting
- 19:37for years too. I don't know what they do in
- 19:40there. I don't want to know.
- 19:41But I'll tell you what we do. We're really real with each
- 19:45other and we go through it and it's been life changing.
- 19:49Absolutely life changing and healing too.
- 19:53Especially for the the church hurt people out there.
- 19:57Yeah. You can see how the body is
- 19:58supposed to be. You can find yourself in the
- 20:02midst of other people really seeking the Lord.
- 20:05You can. It's a strange thing, but the
- 20:07way that Jesus talks about oneness, it really plays out
- 20:11when you. Lay down your guard.
- 20:16These are the kind of conversations, Carly, that bring
- 20:19heaven down. These are the kind of
- 20:22conversations where we'd literally are, are it's this is
- 20:26good now. Wow.
- 20:29Yeah, a lot of the times we think.
- 20:34At this big corporate building with all of these people and the
- 20:37lights and the music is going to be the rewarding us intimately
- 20:42and we're going to feel fulfilled there.
- 20:43We're going to feel, listen, I I don't like beating up on the
- 20:47church. I love the church.
- 20:49We have to do a deconstruction in order to put things back the
- 20:52right way so they operate better.
- 20:55It's not like, oh, let's take this apart and just never put it
- 20:57back together again, but. The the intimacy with the Lord
- 21:01and how that can be expressed through bearing each other's
- 21:05burdens, fulfilling the law, this law of love.
- 21:08I mean, there's one way to do it.
- 21:10Love. The greatest of all those
- 21:12things, hope and you know, all these fruits was love.
- 21:15It's love. Yeah.
- 21:18Yeah. And I'll say this about the
- 21:19church. You know, I was real poo poo
- 21:21about the church for a long time and the Lord corrected me one
- 21:25day, he said. You know, I take you judging my
- 21:27bride very seriously, and I could feel him just disapproving
- 21:34of my attitude, not in a you know, now I'm turning my back on
- 21:38you kind of way golly, but just in a corrective, stern, fatherly
- 21:43way. And so I realized that it's just
- 21:47not my my place. Do I like the formulaic 2 fast
- 21:51songs? One slow song or one fast song,
- 21:542 slow songs, blah blah blah. Same every Sunday, every corner
- 21:57in the entire I don't love it. I don't feel fulfilled in that,
- 22:03but it's his bride and that's his to correct.
- 22:10I will say this though, I think there's at certain points in our
- 22:15walk, you know, there is a place for that predictable pattern.
- 22:21For people who live very unpredictable, chaotic lives.
- 22:25It can be very comforting to come into a place that's the
- 22:28same week after week after week. If you don't have that outside
- 22:32of you need that you need it. Will you grow out of of that
- 22:39formulae thing? Maybe, you know, I I feel like
- 22:43in some ways I did. But you know then I just meet
- 22:46the Lord in my own time and he does what he does with me
- 22:50personally, right. But to be honest with you, and
- 22:54this is something that really hit my heart, that Dan Duvall
- 22:57was talking about a few weeks ago and one of his sermons, I I
- 23:01would have to find it again if you wanted to share it in the
- 23:03notes. But he said a lot of people
- 23:06approach church with this Gimme, Gimme.
- 23:08My name is Jimmy Attitude and I thought, oh Lord, that's me.
- 23:13And that's why I don't go, because I don't get anything
- 23:16from it because it's very much geared towards new believers.
- 23:20And that's fine. God bless that process.
- 23:23I was there too. No shame.
- 23:25None whatsoever. But I was looking at church to
- 23:29fulfill my needs, And the Lord said to me, But I fulfill your
- 23:36needs. And you and I have a dynamic
- 23:40relationship in which if you have a need, you know how to
- 23:45come to me. You know, when I speak to you,
- 23:50so why are you looking down on my church for not fulfilling a
- 23:53need that I'm fulfilling for you?
- 23:57And it really was an issue of correction.
- 23:59And he said what I need you to do now, and this is what I'll
- 24:02present to the, you know, mature believers who've been walking
- 24:05with the Lord and are confident in their ability to hear from
- 24:07him and are producing the fruit of the Spirit.
- 24:10And they're operating in discernment.
- 24:12And there's measurable effect of your walk with him in your life.
- 24:15Go back to the church and be the pillar that those new believers
- 24:19need, because it's important. As a new believer, I can
- 24:23remember coming to church and and there was something
- 24:26comforting about seeing the same people there every week,
- 24:29allowing myself to get to know them or for them to get to know
- 24:33me. And even if we weren't buddy,
- 24:35buddy, heart to heart, bosom friends, just seeing those
- 24:39people week after week, modeling what it is to walk after the
- 24:42Lord, seeing them cry, you know, in worship or serve or do
- 24:47whatever. It let me see down the road a
- 24:50little bit and gave me hope that the chaos of my own life would
- 24:53become something that is ordered.
- 24:55And there's a lot of different opportunities nowadays.
- 24:58I know we have this church here in Minnesota.
- 25:00I some of my more, you know, people who have been walking
- 25:03with the Lord for a while go to and they just do lengthy worship
- 25:07sets. Like like church is just one
- 25:09long worship set. Which sounds amazing, right?
- 25:13Like we can read the word and do all this stuff.
- 25:16Wouldn't it be nice to just go have some like corporate worship
- 25:19every week and just forget the sermon part?
- 25:21Because when you're in worship, often times you'll hear from the
- 25:25Lord for yourself and that's something you've been struggling
- 25:28with. Will lift or your heart will
- 25:31change a little bit, or just being in in that atmosphere.
- 25:36It's helpful. Well, you know, if you can sit
- 25:38in a sauna or steam room and come out feeling rejuvenated,
- 25:41how much more? The presence of the Lord.
- 25:44Amen. Yeah.
- 25:46What if we had corporate worship like that?
- 25:50A place to weep and cry and just hit the floor?
- 25:53You know what I mean? And And what if some of the more
- 25:56teaching experiences were led by the Spirit?
- 26:00You know where the diversity of gifts are in operation on a
- 26:04smaller scale. But yet still coming together a
- 26:06meeting. I think that that's amazing.
- 26:09I feel very led to read something that I wrote that that
- 26:13has to do with directly what you were just talking about.
- 26:16It's a poem, but it's more than that.
- 26:19And I call it bodies and the idea with it before I start
- 26:24reading it. Here Carly is, it starts out
- 26:26talking about my body, right? And then there there's a lot of
- 26:29puns, and it ends up talking about.
- 26:32The body of Christ. So there's kind of interesting
- 26:35shift that takes place. But bear with me here.
- 26:38I'm going to read this to you and the audience quit.
- 26:43I'm a nobody living in a body. I've seen somebody lose their
- 26:47body. The trauma goes deep.
- 26:49I swear parts of my body don't work like a normal body.
- 26:53Much of the time. I'm in despair.
- 26:56I'm not normal to everybody. Some mock, and they stare.
- 26:59Some have abused my body. I wonder, does anybody care?
- 27:04I've heard of the one who created my body in my mother's
- 27:07womb, wonderfully and fearfully created, embodying his design
- 27:11and truth. I ponder on this, fearful that I
- 27:15may never really know the length and the depth, the breadth and
- 27:19the height. As my body shakes and trembles
- 27:21during the darkest times of night, I wait to tell everybody
- 27:25about somebody who covers with his body.
- 27:28His name is Christ. He says he has a body of
- 27:32believers, a rare remnant, a body that cares.
- 27:36I wonder how to help a body that's fearful and so scared, he
- 27:40tells me be the body and never compare.
- 27:43Each member makes the body and of this I deeply care.
- 27:48Continue to love my body. Becoming nobody for love is
- 27:52rare. It covers many sins.
- 27:55I see you, son, and I care. And if they come to kill your
- 27:59body, being you represent my body.
- 28:02Remember my body in despair, broken and beaten, crucified.
- 28:07I gave my body for love. It's all a part of the plan, my
- 28:11son. Stay focused on what's above.
- 28:15I'll be with you and everybody till the end of the age, I
- 28:18swear. Waiting with a heavenly body and
- 28:21nothing you now know could compare.
- 28:27Wow. Amen.
- 28:29Wow, that's profound. And yeah, I just really felt I
- 28:34did not plan on that. Seriously, it's just you were
- 28:36talking and I just felt like the OK, like, you know what?
- 28:39Read this one. This is going to hit somebody.
- 28:41Like, it hit me when I wrote it in tears.
- 28:44And so, hopefully, if you're out there and that poem affected
- 28:47you, write me an e-mail, Write a review, let me know, reach out
- 28:52to me and give me a confirmation, whoever you are.
- 28:54Listener. But Carly, thank you for
- 28:58allowing me to share that with you as well.
- 28:59Hopefully that was made sense. It made a lot of sense and it
- 29:04actually made me think about my own struggles with, you know,
- 29:07the Lord calls our body, the temple.
- 29:10I was really struggling with this body.
- 29:15Now I'm 43 and it's just not what it was.
- 29:17And I know there there comes, there came a serious amount of
- 29:22lamentation, let's put it that way over this, you know, just
- 29:28like God, why and And and the Lord said, well, your body is my
- 29:34temple. And I thought, Dang, my spirit
- 29:37should be your temple. Even my soul might make a better
- 29:40temple, but my body. And then my friend said to me,
- 29:45how do we act in a place that we believe is holy?
- 29:50And the images that come to mind is your reverent you, your heart
- 29:57is open, You take in the beauty, you respect it, You speak well
- 30:02of it. And I don't do that for my body.
- 30:07And I would venture a guess that a lot of people don't do that
- 30:10for their body. And then the Lord said to me, so
- 30:14how are you moving around in your body?
- 30:19And I said not very well. I feel like a lot of the times I
- 30:22condemn my body for not reaching some ideal.
- 30:26Even if that falls short of, you know, society's ideal.
- 30:29I'm not going that far that's that's that's that's a different
- 30:32level. But so well your body deserves
- 30:38love too. And I could I, when it was so
- 30:43hard to conceptualize, loving my body for its own sake and not so
- 30:48that I can. Hopefully that love will produce
- 30:51something out of it that I like aesthetically.
- 30:54Or maybe I won't be so tired and maybe I won't need coffee.
- 30:58Or maybe, you know, this or that will be different.
- 31:01Like, OK, I love my body because that way it'll look better.
- 31:04This was my attitude about it. And I'm like, that's not love
- 31:08though. And the Lord and I wrestled with
- 31:09this thing back and forth, back and forth.
- 31:13And there's this book. There's two books I highly
- 31:16recommend. Grab your pencil if y'all are
- 31:20taking notes because these books are so helpful.
- 31:23One is called The Body Keeps the Score and the other is called It
- 31:26Didn't Start with You. They're on Audible.
- 31:28So if you don't like to read physical books, they're on
- 31:31Audible. And they're all about
- 31:34transgenerational epidemiology. And I'm not an expert, I can
- 31:37just say words with multiple syllables.
- 31:40Basically what it is is it's about cellular memory and how
- 31:45the memory of people that live before us in our genetic line
- 31:49live in our cellular memory. So we often think of our
- 31:55cellular memory as being like the color of our eyes, our
- 31:58heights, our predisposition to liking math or not liking
- 32:02chocolate, whatever. But it also comes down to
- 32:06traumatic events and really exciting events they live.
- 32:10That memory of those things lives in our body, which made me
- 32:14start to think about how many things are affecting my body
- 32:18that really didn't start with me.
- 32:22You know, like how many? Like, I don't have a plethora of
- 32:25chronic conditions, but I have some things that are just not
- 32:28that great. And and so did my mother, and so
- 32:32did my grandmother. But really, it's all linked to
- 32:35trauma that happened in generational lines that keeps
- 32:38manifesting in the same way. And there has to be a way to
- 32:43metabolize these traumas out of our body.
- 32:47And so I'm just kind of rehearsing this conversation I
- 32:50had with the Lord over several weeks.
- 32:53And the the Lord pointed out to me is like, you accept my glory
- 32:59as being made manifest in your spirit because you understand
- 33:03that your spirit is seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
- 33:07Jesus, etcetera, etcetera. There's other scriptures, but
- 33:09that's just the one I always land on you.
- 33:12You have come to accept your soul, and you're working towards
- 33:16love for your soul and your heart, and that's getting
- 33:19better. But do you realize Your body is
- 33:22a witness to the glory of the Lord and your spirit?
- 33:25Your body is a witness to you, loving and healing your soul and
- 33:28your heart. And yet your body is constantly
- 33:31the recipient of hate mail from you.
- 33:34Oh my God. And how does that affect your
- 33:39body? Why?
- 33:40Because nothing heals in an environment of rejection and
- 33:43shame. Nothing.
- 33:44Nothing. Including your body.
- 33:49And just think about the attitude of our hearts towards
- 33:51our bodies and and how many of those attitudes are manifesting
- 33:57as chains that we're asking the Lord to take off.
- 33:59But really they're only there because we persist in this self
- 34:03degradation of our body. Wow, interesting.
- 34:12We have to love our body because it's the temple.
- 34:15So I started doing all these hikes this summer and some of
- 34:19those stories you heard but and the Lord just started pointing
- 34:26out to me. Aren't you thankful that you can
- 34:28do these things like your body's working, Aren't you glad?
- 34:31And I'm like, yeah, I am glad. I get to do things that I enjoy.
- 34:35Is it perfect? And my feet hurt after 8 miles.
- 34:37Yes, they do. Are there things that.
- 34:40But it doesn't matter because I can still do my assignment with
- 34:43the body that I have as it is, and for that I love it.
- 34:51It's amazing. It's really deep and I love
- 34:55these kind of conversations. And This is why I don't
- 35:01necessarily like having a plan. Because you you're dropping some
- 35:06bombs. This this is supernatural.
- 35:10OK you guys, it's not always a craft in the sky or the demons
- 35:13or spiritual mapping. Like we have breath in our
- 35:17lungs, we have a relationship and and we're growing and
- 35:21understanding and learning like like that is supernatural.
- 35:26That's amazing. Like, yeah, you know, the Lord
- 35:30said to me many years ago. He said to me, my most
- 35:33overlooked miracle that I do every day, is when somebody
- 35:39chooses to love somebody else or you choose to love yourself.
- 35:44Oh my gosh, it's a miracle. So on Thursdays, we've been
- 35:48doing this like men's prayer call, right?
- 35:51And and we're calling in and and it's sometimes we're just
- 35:54praying, sometimes we're venting to each other and we had some
- 35:58really interesting stuff happen. Oh yeah.
- 36:02I'm not going to go into details on that, but super, super cool
- 36:06stuff happened. And I was saying to the guys
- 36:09last week, everybody is looking for this big miracle or they
- 36:13want to be healed or you know, they want $1,000,000 and they
- 36:17don't want to have to work it like whatever.
- 36:18Everyone's looking for something.
- 36:20But what about the wake up call and the reality to the biggest
- 36:24miracle you may see? Not ever, but like that you
- 36:28could recognize right now. Is God changing the hearts of
- 36:34men and women? Yeah.
- 36:36Bringing love out of dry bones. Let's just face it, man.
- 36:41Dry bones and and but God. And it's like, that's a miracle
- 36:46because the pill doesn't do it. The bottle doesn't do it.
- 36:50Just talking with people alone doesn't do it.
- 36:54I mean, OK, is it healthy to have good communication?
- 36:56And and maybe if you need to get some counseling, Absolutely.
- 36:59Bible says there's safety and wise counsel.
- 37:02The pill? No, just skip the pill.
- 37:05Let let your food be your medicine, eat, eat a little bit
- 37:07healthier. But but God is growing something
- 37:13new inside of you. And to just recognize that
- 37:15that's a miracle. Like it's super cool what
- 37:18they're uncovering in Babylon or Egypt right now or, you know, in
- 37:21Israel, they're like, oh, there's this new archaeological
- 37:24dig and they found something and I love that stuff.
- 37:27Not downplaying that at all, but making it more personal like.
- 37:32I want to see the ripple effect go out from this part three,
- 37:35Carly, where people, you know, start to become a little bit
- 37:38more vulnerable. There's a keyword that that
- 37:40there was so much wisdom that God gave you to share.
- 37:43The fact that there's power and vulnerability and really God's
- 37:49love working in and through US, his he's the author and footage
- 37:54of our faith. We're working these things out
- 37:56and honestly. And seeing our hearts alone
- 38:02change. Do an evaluation, you guys.
- 38:05Yeah. Jeez, Pray.
- 38:06And just be like, don't forget where you came from.
- 38:09Like, I need to really do this again.
- 38:11And you know, I kind of have been putting it on the back
- 38:13burner, but just like, really looking it over and being like,
- 38:18God, you've brought me from that to here.
- 38:22Thank God. Keep swelling up my heart.
- 38:24Lord, do not allow my heart to turn.
- 38:28Cold and hard Again, you know, don't let love grow cold, not in
- 38:31this household, as as we wind into this age that people have
- 38:36so much to say about this time slot we're living in a million
- 38:39messages and signals. But God be with me and and help
- 38:44me to love when I don't know how to show me that it's so.
- 38:49The revelation of love is if we don't got that, we've missed it
- 38:53all. Carly, we missed it all.
- 38:55Yeah, yeah, we have. We really have.
- 38:58And this last advance weekend in Houston was pressed upon me so
- 39:02intensely. His love, it's really the only
- 39:05thing that matters. Us and his love, and his love
- 39:10for us and our love for each other, because we can do
- 39:13everything else amazingly perfect.
- 39:16We can prophecy perfectly. But if we don't have love for
- 39:21each other and for the Lord, what is it going to avail?
- 39:26It's his love that caused him to sacrifice his son.
- 39:29It's his love for us that drew us.
- 39:31The goodness of God leads men to repentance.
- 39:34And then I was. It's not his chastisement.
- 39:38It's not oh, you're going to go to hell and burn forever.
- 39:40It's his love that draws us his goodness.
- 39:45Think about that. Think about how the meek inherit
- 39:48the earth. That's what it says.
- 39:49Tell me where. I can't remember.
- 39:51But it says the meek shall inherit the earth.
- 39:54There's this sermon on the mount Sermon on the mount.
- 39:56Perfect. So I've often wondered at that
- 39:59because I'm like, I feel like the aggressive inherit the
- 40:03earth. I'm like the meek Jesus, have
- 40:07you met meek people? Because I don't know how that
- 40:11for years I pondered this was in my back pocket.
- 40:13I took it out and looked at it regularly and said I still don't
- 40:15understand it. But this last weekend he hit me
- 40:19with it. He said.
- 40:20When you are meek. You honor people above yourself.
- 40:24He didn't say this, but I'm going to add it for the
- 40:26listener's sake. That doesn't mean you're a
- 40:27doormat and you let people walk all over you and you have no
- 40:32boundaries and you're just a codependent, you know, lost soul
- 40:35who has no sense of self. There's no one I'm talking
- 40:38about. Look up the word meek.
- 40:39It'll help you. But he says, when you're meek,
- 40:42you honor people above yourself. You say, you know what, I'm
- 40:45going to be quiet and listen to your story.
- 40:47You say, wow, I really see the treasure.
- 40:50God is inside of you, and and I honor you for who you are and
- 40:56who He is in you. You intentionally allow others
- 41:00to be without insisting upon the revelation of you in the moment.
- 41:08Let it be about somebody else. And now imagine if we lived our
- 41:12lives like this. I honor you.
- 41:15You honor me. I honor my husband.
- 41:17You honor your wife. We honor our brothers, our
- 41:19sisters, our cousins, the lady in the grocery store, the person
- 41:22who cuts you off. And now you're sitting at the
- 41:24red light with them, awkwardly trying not to make eye contact.
- 41:27What if what if, in these moments, we chose to honor one
- 41:33another? What would that look like?
- 41:36I'll. I have an idea.
- 41:38It would make no room for division.
- 41:42There would be no room for division, because how could the
- 41:44enemy come and be like, you should hate that rich person,
- 41:47you should hate that white person, you should hate that
- 41:49black person, you should hate that drug addict.
- 41:51You should 'cause you'd be like what that person was made in the
- 41:55image and likeness of God, just like me.
- 41:57There are no big shots in the Kingdom That the, the, the
- 42:01fentanyl addict in the bent on the street is just as loved by
- 42:06Christ as I am, just as loved. And you know, the thing about
- 42:11his love is that he chases after us.
- 42:16We have so many worship songs about I love you, Lord, come
- 42:18near me, Lord, I just want to be with you, Lord God said to me
- 42:21the other day, I sing those songs over you, and not just me
- 42:25personally, but you and you and you and you too.
- 42:29He sings those songs over us, 'cause he longs for us.
- 42:32That's what love does. It longs to be connected to to
- 42:35know, to walk with, to do life with, to be with, even in the
- 42:39hard times. And so the meek shall inherit
- 42:44the earth, because when we honour one another, we allow for
- 42:47the manifestation of who that person really is.
- 42:51And in the cleansing of hearts, in this way, in the love and the
- 42:55honouring and the meekness of life, people will come alive,
- 43:00unity will be built. And it makes me think of
- 43:03Ephesians 412 through 13. This is the NIV version, which I
- 43:08don't love, but it's what I have pulled up right now.
- 43:10It says to equip his people. This is after he talks about
- 43:13prophets, evangelists, teachers, you know, whatever.
- 43:19Right after that part says to equip the people for the works
- 43:22of service so that the body of Christ may be built up until we
- 43:30all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of
- 43:37God who became mature, attaining to the whole measure of the
- 43:43stature of Christ. This is what the body is
- 43:46supposed to be. We're going to keep doing this
- 43:48generation after generation after generation, until we
- 43:52attain the whole measure of the stature of Christ.
- 43:55Christ revealed in us the hope of glory and how much works.
- 44:01So we often think about. I'm going to go off a little
- 44:03left here so bear with me. But I think about how often we
- 44:06look for the end times, symbols, signals as being, oh, in the
- 44:12days of Noah, you know the giants and the Sasquatch and all
- 44:15these crazy things are happening.
- 44:16Wars and rumors of war, you said.
- 44:17Sasquatch. No, I'm sorry.
- 44:22Keep going. And so we think about looking
- 44:27for these types of signs, right? Did the rumors of war blah blah
- 44:30blah, famine. It's been happening for the
- 44:32entire Gen. forever, folks. It's been happening for
- 44:36literally ever. If it's not happening in your
- 44:38country, it's happening somewhere.
- 44:39I don't know that it's a really great signal to look for because
- 44:44it's been happening. But then I think about something
- 44:47like Ephesians 412 through 13 and I'm like, OK, or Isaiah 60
- 44:53and I'm like when the glory of the Lord arises and shines upon
- 44:57us and kings from all these nations come to bow down before
- 45:00us to serve us because his he's revealed in us now That will be
- 45:05a sign nobody will be able to get confused about, yeah?
- 45:08About it, right? Or until we are perfected into
- 45:13the full revelation of Christ, attaining to it the unity, the
- 45:18the John 17. What Jesus prayed for.
- 45:20That they would be one as we are one.
- 45:22This is this, this That's my heart cry, my prayer.
- 45:27Oh Lord, I just want to know that oneness, and it started out
- 45:31as me being. I just want to know that oneness
- 45:33it within myself because of, you know, dissociative identity
- 45:37issues. And then coming into just
- 45:40wanting to be at peace in my body and then realizing it's
- 45:43even goes beyond that. I want the oneness of the body.
- 45:46I want the oneness of the body with this Father and the Son and
- 45:49the Holy Spirit, and that's the magnitude he was praying for.
- 45:52And if anybody's prayers getting answered around here, it's
- 45:55definitely Jesus's prayer. OK, So we got to look for it.
- 46:00We have to expect it to be. And as unattainable as it's
- 46:04something like Ephesians 1213 sounds, we're going to continue
- 46:09until the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
- 46:12But he's doing it, though. He's doing it.
- 46:18He's doing it in in you and in me and in millions and millions
- 46:22of people all over the world. He's bringing about that oneness
- 46:25in small pockets because I don't think it's about the stages
- 46:29anymore. I don't think it's about the big
- 46:30shots in the Kingdom anymore. I think it's about the hearts of
- 46:34individuals coming together in love and honor and respect and
- 46:38vulnerability. And he can build on something
- 46:40like that where nobody's getting the spotlight except for him.
- 46:45And you talk to a lot of people, and I would, I would venture a
- 46:51guess that you're hearing this ripple through a little bit more
- 46:55and more. Like, man, we're just really
- 46:59buckling down and getting to know Christ for ourselves.
- 47:03Yeah, and not depending on the idol that churchianity has
- 47:07become. Yeah, there's a lot of rabbit
- 47:11trails. They all came together, that's
- 47:15for sure. I do see this ripple effect and
- 47:20and this is what's changing for me.
- 47:23It's like, you know, I started this podcast because no one else
- 47:29really, other than like Canary Cry Radio that I was aware of
- 47:33was talking about these strange things and and introducing some
- 47:37humor and just going, you know, diving into the weird.
- 47:39But at the time I remember like. God, what do I do with all these
- 47:44weird topics? And I would feel, well, just be
- 47:46patient, you know, just be like it's in the word.
- 47:50I'm going to give you Rhema and strength and and meekness,
- 47:54reserved power for all of this. That's ahead and and now you
- 47:58know years and years and years gone by Carly and I just
- 48:00realized like, that's cool to have an answer in season now to
- 48:05season. And believe me, I will be doing
- 48:07another Bigfoot episode somewhere down the road.
- 48:10It's not planned, but it's just. I'm not like saying, oh get rid
- 48:14of all this weird stuff, but that stuff shouldn't come before
- 48:22us, really, like slowing down and being like, Lord, take me
- 48:28deeper, heal this part of me that I've hidden from you, and
- 48:31just that our personal relationship and encouraging
- 48:35each other to go there and giving it a space because.
- 48:40We're talking about it and encouraging other people because
- 48:44a lot of the times people will reserve their thoughts and
- 48:49emotions because no one around them are worthy of bouncing
- 48:53those thoughts, emotions and ideas off of you.
- 48:56You said a key thing a few minutes ago about hey, check out
- 49:00your circle. You know, get some real men and
- 49:04women of God in your life. You know, have have those kind
- 49:08of relationships where they sharpen you and bring out the
- 49:11best in you because they're going to cry with you, they're
- 49:14going to laugh with you, they're going to help you carry the
- 49:16heavy stuff. And then sometimes you get to
- 49:18throw your hands behind your head and throw your feet up and
- 49:21just sing a worship song by the campfire and enjoy an evening
- 49:24like you need people to do life with.
- 49:26Yeah, for sure. And.
- 49:29It's it makes everything more personal now.
- 49:33It takes the hit Christian, you know, music artist or rapper or
- 49:38whatever cool pastor has this large following.
- 49:40It takes them out of the scenario of like someone else
- 49:44nursing you and and rocking you along and it puts the reality of
- 49:52this temporary life back into well, the place it should be.
- 49:58What? Which is?
- 49:59Us to decide. God, I want to go deeper with
- 50:03you. And some people don't decide
- 50:05that. Some people go, That's crazy.
- 50:06Rodney sounds like he's going to go hug a tree or something like
- 50:10that. Whatever, I highly recommend
- 50:12hugging trees. I heard it's actually like, not
- 50:15a bad thing to do. Like there's a lot of energy.
- 50:17OK, we're not going to get on the road.
- 50:19Try. But I digress.
- 50:21Let's go here. Let me let me propose.
- 50:23This OK, OK so oneness is inclusive but not as the world
- 50:32has sold inclusivity which is not inclusive at all but oneness
- 50:37is it is inclusive. There's there this is when you
- 50:42were talking this is what the Lord said to me is there not
- 50:45room in my body for that too. And as you were listing things,
- 50:49you know, like, oh, the woo, woo, you know, the Sasquatch
- 50:53conversations, the the weird encounters with God and
- 50:58whatever, there's there's room in the body of Christ for all of
- 51:04these conversations. He's the creator of everything
- 51:09made OK. So if you're going to talk about
- 51:17the weird, there's still room in the body to talk to that can be
- 51:22in the body. And we still talk about the
- 51:24basic stuff like you got to spend time in the word.
- 51:28It's not mutually exclusive, you see.
- 51:30So we're all part of it. So if your interests are are
- 51:35more in the woo woo, God bless you.
- 51:38Journey with the Lord. Filter it through the Bible.
- 51:41Live in that realm of revelation.
- 51:43Do it, be it. Because the more you manifest
- 51:46who you are, the more free we all become.
- 51:50Because we're one, We're one. Please go.
- 51:55Go reveal Christ in your corner of the world.
- 51:59Go be who He made you to be. Flesh out the things you're
- 52:02interested in with Him. Do it.
- 52:05Heal. Become rest.
- 52:09Get up. Cry.
- 52:10Be honest. Be vulnerable.
- 52:12Honor. Rejoice.
- 52:14Have humor, all those things. It affects not just you, It
- 52:19affects all of us. The authenticity of who He made
- 52:22you to be manifests day in and day out.
- 52:25It affects the whole body. Just like if I can't utilize my
- 52:30pinky finger, it affects my whole hand.
- 52:32If I stub my toe, it affects my whole body.
- 52:35But because we are limited in our understanding, we we filter
- 52:39everything through a three-dimensional paradigm.
- 52:42It's hard to conceptualize the fact that when Rod's heart heals
- 52:47from the things he's been sharing in his recent podcasts,
- 52:51when he heals from those things, it affects me too.
- 52:56It affects other people too, because we are one body in
- 53:00Christ. And folks, we're going to keep
- 53:02continuing around and around and around till we come to the unity
- 53:05of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God unto the
- 53:08perfect man and to the measure of the stature of the fullness
- 53:11of Christ, So become the fullness of Christ.
- 53:16Whatever that looks like for you, it doesn't matter.
- 53:19It's not mine to judge. You journey with the Lord into.
- 53:22Whatever you got a journey into the Lord with.
- 53:24It's way better to do it with Him honestly and consistently.
- 53:31Diligence is the key. Whatever you're doing, just keep
- 53:34doing. Just keep being diligent with
- 53:36the Lord. Do it, do it, do it.
- 53:38He asks you to make a shift, Make a shift.
- 53:41But if he If you think the Lord's ask you to make a shift
- 53:43every 30 seconds, you're dealing with confusion.
- 53:45And I rebuke it in Jesus name. But.
- 53:49Yeah. That's that's epic and wow it's
- 53:55like this is, this is uncharted territory in so many ways
- 53:59because it really hasn't been demonstrated for us, right.
- 54:03Like and it it's exciting, it's like an adventure.
- 54:08But it's also it, didn't it? It we have to bring.
- 54:18All of it out that needs to come out and we have to get rid of
- 54:22what shouldn't be there, empty and clear up some space and it's
- 54:27just so interesting. I like the balance.
- 54:31Like there really is no parameters on this podcast.
- 54:36Like, I've always kind of been tugged by the spirit.
- 54:39Like in a lot of ways I'm just capturing my growth journey and
- 54:43and going these places and and dealing with this stuff because.
- 54:46It's important to me. Well, thankfully it's important
- 54:49to some other people too. Yeah.
- 54:53And I think, you know, as I listen to your podcast and I do,
- 54:56I go back and I I listen to it weekly and I really come out
- 54:59with new stuff. And I think to myself, what Rod
- 55:03is really doing is looking at the fullness of of life, be it
- 55:09the simple things or the mysteries through the lens of
- 55:13Christ and just having honest conversations about it.
- 55:16And so because he is the creator of all the things and all the
- 55:21things that exist exist because of him and in him we live and
- 55:24move and have a bring our being that that's a wide net, that's a
- 55:31wide net. So how do you narrow it down to
- 55:33one thing, right? But I think the one, the one
- 55:36thing that you bring to the table consistently is you're
- 55:39looking through the lens of Christ to see what he has to say
- 55:45about any given topic while honoring the vessels through
- 55:49which he's speaking. And that's a really important
- 55:54role to play. Because when I hear your heart,
- 55:58when I hear someone else's heart, when I hear what the Lord
- 56:01is saying to this person, the next person, that person's
- 56:06aspects of his being are being made manifest.
- 56:10They're being revealed right there in front of me.
- 56:14What greater honor could the Lord bestow upon me than to hear
- 56:20what he is doing in someone else's life?
- 56:23There's no greater honor in my book, no greater honor.
- 56:29And even if it's the beginning of Christianity, new Christian
- 56:32stuff may like people when they first get that he lives in them
- 56:38and they're excited about that man.
- 56:42What a beautiful thing to behold and witness and just to be in
- 56:47that moment with people. And I think you do that really
- 56:50well. I I honestly do.
- 56:55Wow, that's really humbling. I I think you just wrapped up
- 57:00like what I'm doing. I don't.
- 57:01I don't know what I'm doing this time.
- 57:03I'd like to hear you say it. I'm like.
- 57:06Like, I'm going to freaking cry over here, man.
- 57:08Like, is that really what's happening?
- 57:09Like, that's what, Yeah, I think so.
- 57:11That's how it sounds to me. That's what that's the thread.
- 57:15That's the thread is you listen to what the Lord is doing
- 57:17through other people and and you're honoring their story and
- 57:21and really they're just revealing Christ as they
- 57:23understand him. And yeah, awesome.
- 57:28It's amazing. I I never really thought of it
- 57:31like that. That's, well, I mean, really,
- 57:33that's what we're supposed to do.
- 57:36Like in a nutshell, that's kind of what we're supposed to do in
- 57:40every area of life. But I've failed so bad in other
- 57:43areas. I'm like, Lord, don't let me get
- 57:46this wrong, you know, and it's like this constant battle.
- 57:49It is like we talked about earlier about this wrestling the
- 57:52flesh and learning to not allow that enemy to remind you of of
- 57:58what's in the past and moving on to what's better and.
- 58:03And this podcast is like a safe place for me.
- 58:05Like, even though, like, people listen.
- 58:07Like, I don't know, like all over the place.
- 58:09Like they listen, but like when I'm interviewing somebody, it's
- 58:12just it's me and that other person, you.
- 58:16Know and I'm trying to take on the mind of Christ, you know I'm
- 58:20trying to take capture this these thoughts and these ideas
- 58:26that that there are million messages and signals causing
- 58:28confusion and chaos. Obviously that's been like the
- 58:30the ground premises of the show since.
- 58:33You know back in 2019 in development is like all of these
- 58:36stuff going on. Let's take this journey together
- 58:38and discovering truth, right. But what it morphs into over
- 58:43time. Sometimes I don't even see it
- 58:47and it's just humbling. It really is really is cool.
- 58:51Thank you so much for that feedback and just sharing that
- 58:54and and it's so cool to you know, some people are too cool.
- 58:59I guess to listen to the podcast that come on but like I love if
- 59:02somebody listens and then comes on because it's like you you
- 59:07kind of get who I am and we can kind of flow and just it's it's
- 59:10always a good thing and well I don't let me hit you with a
- 59:15couple questions and let's just kind of transition into a a few
- 59:19things that I had in mind because I really want to know
- 59:23what your thoughts are on. You know, we we had prayed
- 59:27earlier and we talked a little bit about the the seven spirits
- 59:32that revelation talks about. Can we just do a recap on that
- 59:36real quick. I mean this came up on a round
- 59:38table on fringe radio network with a bunch of other people
- 59:42that I did a few weeks ago and one of the gentlemen was saying
- 59:46like, yeah, we don't talk about the Holy Spirit enough in, you
- 59:50know, these these church conversations or podcast
- 59:53conversations and. If we do, it doesn't get much
- 59:59weirder than when Revelation talks about these seven spirits
- 1:00:02of God. So, I mean, I'm there, I have it
- 1:00:05pulled up. But but let's just talk about
- 1:00:08that really quick. I mean it's What is your mind
- 1:00:11doing? God, the Spirit of the Lord, the
- 1:00:13Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of
- 1:00:15counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the
- 1:00:19Lord. It's a mystery.
- 1:00:24It's a mystery to me. I can't say that I have any
- 1:00:27super duper insight on these. I've OK this, OK, let me just
- 1:00:37put it like this. I don't know how this is going
- 1:00:40to land, but this, this is what's coming up.
- 1:00:42So each one of these spirits of the Lord are they are realms of
- 1:00:50encounter. They're aspects of his
- 1:00:54manifestation. So the spirit of the Lord, the
- 1:00:59spirit of wisdom, well, wisdom is easy to find in the Bible
- 1:01:02because like the beginning of Proverbs talks about wisdom.
- 1:01:06You could just, that's, I don't want to say easy, like no big
- 1:01:09deal. You know, John, the book of John
- 1:01:12says wisdom was there in the beginning.
- 1:01:15And so that's obviously super deep, right.
- 1:01:16But like it's a little easier to find in scripture and
- 1:01:20understanding. I think that's original
- 1:01:22language, for that word is Shema.
- 1:01:25But it's like I often approach these things like the spirit of
- 1:01:30the Lord is a realm of encounter.
- 1:01:32Lord, like in prayer, I will say, I will just ask because God
- 1:01:37is an open door. He's like, come unto me, come,
- 1:01:40come, come, come, come, come. I don't have any shut doors.
- 1:01:43Come on. Come, we'll meet.
- 1:01:44We'll talk, We'll Sup. We'll cry, we'll laugh.
- 1:01:47Right. He He doesn't have a lock on his
- 1:01:50bedroom door. If you will.
- 1:01:51So when I enter prayer, sometimes I'll just say, Lord, I
- 1:01:55want to meet with the Spirit of the Lord.
- 1:01:57I want to meet with the Spirit of wisdom.
- 1:01:59I want to meet with the Spirit of understanding, the Spirit of
- 1:02:02counsel, the Spirit of might, the Spirit of knowledge, the
- 1:02:05fear of the Lord. And the way that this will go
- 1:02:10for me personally is I'll try to find where the presence of the
- 1:02:15Lord is by kind of feeling around in the spirit.
- 1:02:20So I like pray in tongues for a while.
- 1:02:22A lot of times I walk around when I pray because I got to
- 1:02:25keep it moving, folks. I don't sit Stillwell, so that
- 1:02:28helps me. Or I'll put on worship songs.
- 1:02:31Like I really like Jesus image. There's a lady out of Nigeria
- 1:02:34called Victoria Ornez that I just put on and like if I feel
- 1:02:39the spirit kind of moving, then I stay in that place.
- 1:02:42Or sometimes I'll just sit down in the word and like I'll be on
- 1:02:46Psalm 18 for, like months, because that's where I'm finding
- 1:02:51him. And then when I find where His
- 1:02:54presence is, I just ask the Spirit of the Lord to come in
- 1:03:00and Sup with me. Or I'll ask the Spirit of wisdom
- 1:03:03to come in and Sup with me. And there there's something
- 1:03:08discernible in the encounter with the Lord that shifts.
- 1:03:11It's still the Lord, but it like, takes on a certain flavor,
- 1:03:15if you will, or it's not. It's very nuanced for my for
- 1:03:21maybe. For other people it's not.
- 1:03:22But it's. It's nuanced.
- 1:03:23It's like. And then the way that he speaks
- 1:03:28is kind of tuned to the frequency of wisdom or tuned to
- 1:03:36the frequency of counsel or might or the fear of the Lord.
- 1:03:40And a lot of times, like when I encounter the fear of the Lord,
- 1:03:43for example, there's a lot of repentance, like deep
- 1:03:47repentance, not in the condemnation kind of repentance,
- 1:03:51but in the like, yeah, I'm holding that in my heart.
- 1:03:53Lord, help me, help me, you know.
- 1:03:57And there's often tears that come with that.
- 1:03:59But every aspect of the Lord, every manifestation that he
- 1:04:02gives us as a, as an example in Scripture, is a place to meet
- 1:04:09him at in prayer. And so that's how I approach the
- 1:04:13seven spirits of the Lord. I just want to share a testimony
- 1:04:18about that really quick and then whatever your other questions
- 1:04:21are, we'll roll. But I had a vision a few back in
- 1:04:25April, and I was standing before the Lamb of God slain, and often
- 1:04:32in my imagination pictured the Lamb slain as just a passed out
- 1:04:37lamb sleeping. Very cute, very tidy, not messy
- 1:04:40at all, right? But this encounter was not my
- 1:04:43imagination, so it looked very different.
- 1:04:45And it was the Lamb of God, brutalized like shredded,
- 1:04:52bloody, terrible, terrible mess, tragic.
- 1:04:59And I looked, and my heart was just breaking inside of me.
- 1:05:04Because I'm like, this is so much worse than I thought.
- 1:05:08Rod. I looked down at my hand in this
- 1:05:11vision, and I saw that I was holding the cat in nine tails.
- 1:05:16And something rose up inside of me.
- 1:05:18This memory this I have, there's a few deep regrets in my life.
- 1:05:23And one of them rose up and came to the front of my mind and I
- 1:05:28felt my hand lift up. And as I was holding this
- 1:05:33thought in the front of my mind and just feeling the sorrow and
- 1:05:36the pain and the regret. And like the hurt I caused other
- 1:05:40people, my hand raised up with the cat of nine tails and I
- 1:05:45lashed at the lamb and it was bloody and it got all over me.
- 1:05:53And right behind that another thought rose up.
- 1:05:55Pain, sorrow, grief. Deep hurt.
- 1:06:00Uh, heartbreaking, heartbreaking pain.
- 1:06:03And I rose my hand up again and I lashed at him and it started
- 1:06:08to come out of me, all these memories.
- 1:06:10And I was lashing at the lamb. And I looked and I opened my
- 1:06:13eyes and I saw that with every lash his eyes got brighter and
- 1:06:21brighter, like he was looking at me with love, this slain,
- 1:06:28brutalized lamb. The more I struck him with my
- 1:06:32sin, the more he looked at me with love.
- 1:06:35And it made me think about he did not despise the shame.
- 1:06:40And I was dying inside. I I it's so hard to describe the
- 1:06:48way I felt. I I I felt like I was dying.
- 1:06:52It hurt me deep, deep into my gut.
- 1:06:56And as I was crying, this light started to gather in the Lamb.
- 1:07:06And as I poured out my sorrow on him, the light gathered and
- 1:07:10gathered and gathered until Yeshua Hamashiach rose out as a
- 1:07:14man and stood before me. And he said to me, You were not
- 1:07:20made to carry those things, only I was made to carry those
- 1:07:27things. And when you hold back from
- 1:07:32giving me those things that hurt you the most, you are
- 1:07:35withholding glory from me. You weren't made to carry it, I
- 1:07:41was made to carry it. And it's pride to withhold your
- 1:07:45suffering from me. And he embraced me and he said
- 1:07:58to me, the only thing that I can clothe in my glory is humility.
- 1:08:06Meekness, a humble spirit, a contrite heart is the only thing
- 1:08:13that is stable enough to carry his glory.
- 1:08:16It's the only thing. Because look at Satan.
- 1:08:19He had all the accoutrements of glory.
- 1:08:22And he betrayed. He betrayed because he lacked
- 1:08:26humility. His glory is revealed in us when
- 1:08:30we are humbled, when we give over to him that which only he
- 1:08:34was made to carry, and that is all of our pain and our sorrow
- 1:08:38and our heart. Because in that he's glorified.
- 1:08:44Why do you think he had to go down to hell and take back all
- 1:08:46that stuff? Why did he have to take upon
- 1:08:48himself the sins of the world? Because in doing so his strength
- 1:08:51was revealed. His strength is made perfect in
- 1:08:54our weakness. He lived that example.
- 1:08:59That was probably one of the heaviest moments I've had
- 1:09:02listening to a guest on this show, Carly, when you had
- 1:09:09mentioned the lamb and how you had the cat of nine tails in
- 1:09:14your own hand. And it's so strange because
- 1:09:18recently I looked up what a Roman flagrum is.
- 1:09:25I feel I'm saying that right. You had pieces of bone webbed
- 1:09:31into the leather, strands and pieces of iron, and it just it's
- 1:09:36brutal. Yeah, I could barely even get
- 1:09:39through just the idea. I mean, I was weeping at at just
- 1:09:46the reality of what Christ went through and for you just to
- 1:09:51share that perspective. Like if we have pride, like
- 1:09:56we're holding this stuff back, we're not giving it to him.
- 1:09:59But he was designed for it. But like Oh my gosh, I don't
- 1:10:02even know. We weren't designed for it.
- 1:10:05We weren't designed for it and and he want.
- 1:10:08I remember and at one point he was just he was saying to me
- 1:10:13give it to me give it to me. His eyes were full of love.
- 1:10:18It's it's the most wild thing. Like just you can't There's
- 1:10:23nobody, nobody that ever existed on the planet would not look at
- 1:10:29you with hate if you treated. But they they would die, first
- 1:10:32of all. Second of all they would hate
- 1:10:34you. They'd have to go through.
- 1:10:37But that's not him. That's not him.
- 1:10:40And and it just really helped me to understand what my soul was
- 1:10:45made for because I've despised my soul.
- 1:10:48Like, you are so unhinged. What the heck, you're like
- 1:10:53having a haunt in the house. You just you're you're in the
- 1:10:56House of my body and you just you're you're not stable and
- 1:10:59it's scary. And by that I mean because when
- 1:11:01you live through trauma, you get triggered and things can get
- 1:11:06difficult. And I've lived that.
- 1:11:08But my point is is that he's had to show me that our soul, our
- 1:11:13soul, it's been only made to carry Lovejoy.
- 1:11:19Peace. Patience.
- 1:11:23Humbleness. Just what it was designed to
- 1:11:28carry. And if you're carrying anything
- 1:11:31other than that, it's not yours to carry.
- 1:11:34That's why it feels like it's killing you.
- 1:11:36Because it is. Because it's not yours to carry.
- 1:11:39Are you going to saddle a house cat with a plow and then shame
- 1:11:43it for not being able to pull it through some gnarly rooted rocky
- 1:11:47soil? No, because the cat wasn't
- 1:11:50designed to do that. You weren't designed to carry
- 1:11:54sin. You were designed to carry love
- 1:11:56and humility and humor and peace.
- 1:12:02Lay it down. You have to let it go.
- 1:12:05He will not despise you. He will not.
- 1:12:08He will love you and you will grow in your respect.
- 1:12:11You will grow in the fear of the Lord, in the spirit of might and
- 1:12:14counsel and wisdom. You will grow in Him, wow, by
- 1:12:19giving to him what you can't carry, so he can give you what
- 1:12:23you were designed to carry, which is his presence and his
- 1:12:27love. It reminds me of First Peter 57.
- 1:12:33We're supposed to cast our care upon him, for he careth for us.
- 1:12:40Exactly. Exactly.
- 1:12:43This is why he says. My burden is easy.
- 1:12:45My yoke is light. Yeah, we're we're saddled with a
- 1:12:49whole lot of false yokes. I one of my regular prayers is
- 1:12:52Lord. I call for the immediate removal
- 1:12:54of all false yokes and I and every single time I feel like my
- 1:13:00shoulders lift up, I feel lighter.
- 1:13:03I feel lighter in my heart because I think these things
- 1:13:05just come upon us unannounced, you know?
- 1:13:11So I let it. I try to let it go.
- 1:13:12And and I can definitely feel when I've neglected to say those
- 1:13:15words, because I start to feel really have you.
- 1:13:20And really, it's just, you know, to tie it together, you know,
- 1:13:23for myself and just for a listener out there, You know the
- 1:13:27power of our tongue, you know? So if it's been a couple weeks
- 1:13:32since you got real with the Lord, there's no better time
- 1:13:35than to pause this recording right now and whatever you've
- 1:13:39been towing along and. You know, yelling and stubbing
- 1:13:43your toe and cursing and being angry and frustrated.
- 1:13:46Just let that stuff go. Whatever burden that you are
- 1:13:50dragging along that you don't need to look, we can do this
- 1:13:56together. Let's let that thing go.
- 1:13:58Because This is why the word. This is why the word is here,
- 1:14:04like for our correction, our reproof, just for us to be
- 1:14:08reminded. And here we are tonight in this.
- 1:14:12Yeah, And sometimes it can help to actually employ your
- 1:14:16imagination in this thing. Yeah.
- 1:14:19Well, yes, because you can. You can see yourself laying
- 1:14:24those things down at Jesus. You can see in your imagination.
- 1:14:28Just take what I've said and have the same imagination.
- 1:14:33Just because I saw it in the spirit doesn't mean that you
- 1:14:35seeing it in the imagination is any less effective.
- 1:14:38The imagination of the heart. You can do a word search in the
- 1:14:40Bible, it's a whole thing. But lay it down, let that.
- 1:14:44Let yourself have that grief and give it over.
- 1:14:49It's OK. Well, that does spawn an
- 1:14:55interesting question. Just.
- 1:14:59With the gift of seeing versus like maybe the gift of like a
- 1:15:03the word of knowledge, right. And then the imagination.
- 1:15:09What, How does that really play in like, I have a very vivid
- 1:15:12imagination. It's always been something that,
- 1:15:16I mean, I could I listen to people talk.
- 1:15:18This is not all the time, but there's sometimes where I can
- 1:15:21watch little movie clips in my head that are very awesome about
- 1:15:26what they're talking about. And just just help me to
- 1:15:32understand, like if you're for people who offer it, operate in
- 1:15:36the gift of knowledge, for example, or word of knowledge,
- 1:15:39right. So it's like they just kind of
- 1:15:40like know something or whether it's prophetic.
- 1:15:43I don't know if I'm using the right words here, but what I'm
- 1:15:46getting at is like we're supposed to take captive our
- 1:15:50thoughts to the obedience of the Lord.
- 1:15:52You know, we'll hear this in the building, but like, we really
- 1:15:55don't have the. Best examples of how people
- 1:15:59sitting down, like what you just said, like triggered it, where
- 1:16:02you're like, hey, practice your imagination for that, which is
- 1:16:05is righteous, right? Yeah, for sure.
- 1:16:08Cleansing your mind in that. I mean, really, I don't know
- 1:16:13where, where, where can we go from there?
- 1:16:15Like, what's going on with this? There's a whole lot to say about
- 1:16:18the imagination. I'm my husband has been
- 1:16:22journeying in the realm of the importance of the imagination
- 1:16:25for a good long time. And I I'm not going to do it
- 1:16:28justice because I'm going to compare the things he said to me
- 1:16:31to what's going to come out of my mouth.
- 1:16:33And I know it's it's not going to be quite it, but I will say
- 1:16:36this about the imagination. Employ it when you're reading
- 1:16:40the word, especially when you know there it's telling you
- 1:16:44stories, you know, like Ezekiel, he's telling you the story, he's
- 1:16:50painting a picture. Take your time and employ your
- 1:16:53imagination, because your imagination can.
- 1:16:59OK, I don't have theology for this, so don't come from my
- 1:17:03jugular. But the imagination has a
- 1:17:08creative force to create realms. And here's an example.
- 1:17:15When I have had fussy times with my husband as I've been maturing
- 1:17:20and working out my salvation with fear and trembling, I used
- 1:17:23to have this issue where I would argue with my husband alone in
- 1:17:25my head because I know what he's fixing to say.
- 1:17:28And he, I know what I'm going to say.
- 1:17:30And he's going to say that, and I'm going to say this.
- 1:17:31And the Lord stopped me one time.
- 1:17:33And he said, you are creating a thought realm and pulling actual
- 1:17:39things about your life into this thought realm, and it's chaos.
- 1:17:45And then you go into your home and you're like, why does it
- 1:17:48feel so chaotic? And he's like, because, Carly,
- 1:17:52you have created a realm with your imagination and pulled
- 1:17:55aspects of your life into it. And it was created in chaos
- 1:18:00because you're imagining an argument with your husband and
- 1:18:04now you come home and you argue with him.
- 1:18:05It's no mystery what happened. So This is why we have to cast
- 1:18:11down vain imaginations. That was a vain imagination.
- 1:18:14It was vain because what is it going to produce in my life?
- 1:18:18Just some more arguments in chaos.
- 1:18:22So when he said that, I'm like, OK, I'm going to not do this,
- 1:18:25right? So what I would have to do is
- 1:18:26start singing songs or listening to podcasts or anything else
- 1:18:29other than creating these thought realms until I could.
- 1:18:32Seriously. Until I could get before the
- 1:18:35Lord and say look at my heart, please my God because I'm
- 1:18:41regardless of what he's doing or not doing, it doesn't matter.
- 1:18:43Doesn't matter. He's he's a man.
- 1:18:45Like men aren't just like I'm human.
- 1:18:48Whatever. But my heart, Oh, my heart.
- 1:18:52I'm making these things out of my heart.
- 1:18:53Oh my God, help me. Help.
- 1:18:56Right. Stop.
- 1:18:57I'm. I'm not focused on him changing
- 1:18:59the circumstance anymore. I'm focused on him changing my
- 1:19:01heart, which is creating all this chaos in my life.
- 1:19:06And so the imagination can be employed for good or for bad.
- 1:19:10Be careful what you're imagining.
- 1:19:12If you're imagining sickness, disease, if you're imagining not
- 1:19:16having enough, if you're imagining fights with your
- 1:19:18children, you're imagining fights with your boss.
- 1:19:21Your you hate your job, and when you're off your job, you're
- 1:19:23imagining how crappy your job is.
- 1:19:25These things are creating a force in your life that is just
- 1:19:29perpetual bondage. Stop it.
- 1:19:33So we can cry and we can pray out to the Lord, and we can pour
- 1:19:36out our heart as a drink offering and and complain before
- 1:19:39him. He doesn't mind.
- 1:19:40But on the backside of that, we have to speak what's true, and
- 1:19:43we have to take time to imagine the better.
- 1:19:48And this is where you employ your imagination in reading the
- 1:19:51scripture. Read Ezekiel.
- 1:19:52Picture it. Read Jesus's account when he's
- 1:19:56talking about stuff. And they tell they give you some
- 1:19:58context and some scenes. Sit there and picture it.
- 1:20:00Create it in your brain. Put yourself in it.
- 1:20:04Sit in that room, that house, when the paraplegic was lowered
- 1:20:08through the roof, imagine you were one of his friends.
- 1:20:12Imagine you were sitting next to Jesus when this guy got lowered.
- 1:20:16Like, be there, do it because those imaginations are not vain.
- 1:20:21They're not He. They become realms of encounter.
- 1:20:26And maybe it it is in fact birthed from your imagination,
- 1:20:30but the Lord will meet you there regardless because He made you
- 1:20:33as a creator creative force. You are a creative force.
- 1:20:37You were made in His image and likeness, and you have creative
- 1:20:40abilities, including creative abilities to make realms.
- 1:20:45Thought realms encounter realms. Our capacity is so fast, so the
- 1:21:01imaginations of the heart will often reveal to you things that
- 1:21:05you need to repent and work on with the Lord.
- 1:21:07That working out your salvation with fear and trembling, like my
- 1:21:11example I gave, that was an imagination of my heart that I
- 1:21:15had to work out with the Lord with fear and trembling, because
- 1:21:18I realized the common denominator.
- 1:21:21And some of this is me. Help Jesus.
- 1:21:27Ditto, yeah. Yeah, it the scriptures talk
- 1:21:34about in Proverbs. So a man thinketh he is, and
- 1:21:38everything that you just said is really like.
- 1:21:42A breakdown, like it. It just packages it in a way
- 1:21:45that so much more helpful to understand that.
- 1:21:48Because after hearing you, I'm reminded of that verse.
- 1:21:52And it's like, yeah, so this is what the process looks like.
- 1:21:55And I'm identifying with so much of what you're saying.
- 1:21:58It's like, there's times where I feel like you're taking words
- 1:22:01right out of my mouth and I'm like, Oh my gosh, this is, this
- 1:22:04is good. This is why the Mustard Seed
- 1:22:06lives on, 'cause that's a good thing.
- 1:22:09This is oneness. He talks to us about the same
- 1:22:12thing in many different ways. And then there's these common
- 1:22:14threads. And when you hear someone else
- 1:22:16say them, you're like, he said that to me too.
- 1:22:18And it's like, well, yeah, because we're one body.
- 1:22:22He's talking to us. Yeah, Yeah.
- 1:22:25Amazing, Yeah. I'm just completely amazed by
- 1:22:27this conversation. This is very helpful, very
- 1:22:30edifying, uplifting. And really, Part 3 is not
- 1:22:38enough. I mean, we're to the part where.
- 1:22:41Yeah, Part 4 is going to going to be in the near future as
- 1:22:46well, just because there there's a ton of questions I have that
- 1:22:50like I'm so glad I didn't get to because that means we get a Part
- 1:22:534. But this one right here is is
- 1:22:56one for the records because I believe it's close to God's
- 1:22:59heart. I believe that this is really
- 1:23:02what his people need to hear. Like we agreed on and talked on
- 1:23:07earlier, it doesn't need to be weird all the time sometimes for
- 1:23:13me, yeah, but but the balance in act of oh God, here's my heart.
- 1:23:20Take me deeper. Ring the bell a little bit.
- 1:23:24Unveil some things. Bring me a friend who's not
- 1:23:28afraid to listen and build and sharpen.
- 1:23:32I'm thankful for this podcast and I'm really thankful for your
- 1:23:35time tonight, Carly. So we're going to kind of wind
- 1:23:37down here a little bit. I guess I'll just ask one last
- 1:23:41question. What do you think is one of the
- 1:23:46most important messages for the millennial generation today?
- 1:23:51If God gave you the microphone and, said Carly, you have a
- 1:23:55three minute window to speak to the millennial generation.
- 1:24:02Well, after I got off the floor because God handed me a
- 1:24:05microphone. OK, let's back up a little bit.
- 1:24:08One of the lower cherubims comes over and says this is from the
- 1:24:12throne of the most high, you know, but, but I mean, yeah,
- 1:24:15Yeah, in the day we're living in, like, we never know when,
- 1:24:18like, technology's like, not going to be like, what if this
- 1:24:20is the way? Yeah.
- 1:24:22I just think of, like, OK, what if there's a blackout for a
- 1:24:25little while? And I'm not saying that's
- 1:24:26coming. I'm not saying it's not coming.
- 1:24:28But but what I'm getting at here, Carly?
- 1:24:31Is what if this was the last opportunity to reach the
- 1:24:34majority of the listeners? What would you say to them?
- 1:24:38You have the green light right now.
- 1:24:40OK. So many things are like ripping
- 1:24:43through my head. OK, so, but the number one thing
- 1:24:46that's coming to my mind is not too long ago I was well, during
- 1:24:52the COVID lockdowns, we were all lamenting a lot of things, OK.
- 1:24:57One of the things I was lamenting was I was like, Lord,
- 1:25:01look at all these people that are so confused about their
- 1:25:04identity. What is going on?
- 1:25:07Like, you, ma'am, are not a squirrel.
- 1:25:11I know you feel like a squirrel. I have too much coffee and I
- 1:25:15feel like a squirrel, but I know I'm not an actual squirrel and I
- 1:25:20was just like, God, you need to step in here.
- 1:25:22This is getting really sketchy. Like what?
- 1:25:26You can't have grown men in leotards, in the women's
- 1:25:29bathroom with little children. What are we doing with
- 1:25:31ourselves? What is happening?
- 1:25:33And he said to me, because I was upset, you know, I was like
- 1:25:37pissed. And he said to me, the confusion
- 1:25:44of identity you see in the culture is a direct reflection
- 1:25:49of the confusion of identity of my people who are called
- 1:25:53according to my name. Because you don't know who you
- 1:25:57are, how can the world know who they are?
- 1:26:00Oh my God, oh Jesus. And then he said to me, everyone
- 1:26:15who waves their rainbow flag has become a beacon of encounter
- 1:26:21with me. And I'm coming for them.
- 1:26:28And he said, the more my people understand who they are and they
- 1:26:36be that, that's a journey. That's not an event, folks.
- 1:26:40That's a journey. There's a lot that goes into it.
- 1:26:43Keep going. Keep going.
- 1:26:45You're doing great. The more that the world will
- 1:26:52experience order in things, because all of creation is
- 1:26:59waiting for the manifestations of the sons of God, because
- 1:27:05there's redemption in that. And so when we look out at the
- 1:27:09world and we're like, what about this?
- 1:27:11You're all so messed up. If you're going to use a sword
- 1:27:14on somebody else like that, use it on yourself first.
- 1:27:20The sword of the spirit, it divides bone and marrow,
- 1:27:26thoughts and intents of the heart.
- 1:27:27You have to use it on yourself first.
- 1:27:32So my now more than three minute message somebody took the mic
- 1:27:36for me. That cherub he took the mic,
- 1:27:38it's been 3 minutes is really learn who you are and and learn
- 1:27:44who he is and you and who you are and him.
- 1:27:46And it's big folks. It's real big.
- 1:27:49You're not small, of no substance or significance.
- 1:27:55You're not. You're huge.
- 1:27:57You are so important. You are tremendously.
- 1:28:02You are valued at the creator himself.
- 1:28:07That's your value. That's your value.
- 1:28:09You're huge. And the last thing I would say,
- 1:28:12just grabbing at the mic with the cherub is learn to love.
- 1:28:16Learn to love. Learn to love.
- 1:28:18Learn to love. Love is a dangerous thing.
- 1:28:20It's risky. You you could get hurt.
- 1:28:23I got hurt. I get hurt.
- 1:28:24I hurt others I love. But we have to learn to love.
- 1:28:28We have to learn to love. It's so important.
- 1:28:31You could do everything else right.
- 1:28:33But if you don't love, you ain't doing it right.
- 1:28:36I'm. I'm talking to myself now.
- 1:28:37Because hey, if we had another hour, that would be another
- 1:28:40journey. Well, it's an always an honor
- 1:28:46to. Connect with you and just You're
- 1:28:48a bright light in this day and age, and you're causing others
- 1:28:53to brighten their lights. Arise and shine, for thy light
- 1:29:01is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
- 1:29:06For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross
- 1:29:11darkness the people, but the Lord shall arise upon thee.
- 1:29:16And his glory shall be seen upon thee.
- 1:29:21You guys share this one. I don't care how you share this
- 1:29:24episode. Word of mouth, text message via
- 1:29:27e-mail. Post it on your social media.
- 1:29:31It doesn't matter. Just share this episode.
- 1:29:34Because that's how we find one more person.
- 1:29:38Just like you and me coming to you from southeastern
- 1:29:43Pennsylvania. God bless.
- 1:29:47And goodbye. None.
