- 0:18Speaker 5: This is America, Richiev.
- 0:20Speaker 4: You're on the air with the Nation of the Nation
- 0:23Speaker 4: with America.
- 0:24Speaker 5: With your host, Rich Valdez.
- 0:26Speaker 4: What's up, America. I am Rich Valdez Valdez with ans
- 0:30Speaker 4: A Rich Valdest on all of the social media. Welcome
- 0:33Speaker 4: to the Monday night edition of our program. Blest, honored,
- 0:36Speaker 4: happy to be here with each and every one of
- 0:38Speaker 4: you on our late night national town hall conversation. Feel
- 0:41Speaker 4: free to give me a call. Eight seven seven Valdes one,
- 0:45Speaker 4: eight seven seven Valdes one. And I want to jump
- 0:49Speaker 4: into a couple of things here because well, obviously I
- 0:53Speaker 4: take a couple of days off right. We got a
- 0:55Speaker 4: crazy weekend. All of a sudden, We've got JD. Vance
- 0:59Speaker 4: on Sadaturday saying no, no deal. He was unable to
- 1:03Speaker 4: make a deal. Then ed Trompito step again and saying,
- 1:06Speaker 4: oh guess what, oh you want a blockade, I'll give
- 1:08Speaker 4: you a blockade, and him blocking the blockade of the
- 1:11Speaker 4: Iranians making sure that they don't sell or receive any
- 1:15Speaker 4: commercial goods, in particular the oil. Then he's got some
- 1:18Speaker 4: beef in these streets. He posts a picture of himself
- 1:21Speaker 4: that many say he looks like Jesus. I agree. It
- 1:24Speaker 4: looked like a cartoon of Jesus, but with Trump's face
- 1:27Speaker 4: on it doing some sort of healing. He says he
- 1:29Speaker 4: thought it was the Red Cross is some sort of image,
- 1:33Speaker 4: patriotic image, and I could see that either way. To
- 1:37Speaker 4: avoid issue, ed Trompito deletes the tweet, but not before
- 1:41Speaker 4: lots of people are upset with him, and I would
- 1:43Speaker 4: suspect them. We'll get into it a little bit later,
- 1:45Speaker 4: but I would suspect that there is somebody somewhere inside
- 1:49Speaker 4: the Trump administration that is saying, you know, let's test
- 1:53Speaker 4: how loyal this divide is, right, because there clearly is
- 1:57Speaker 4: a divide, and we talked about it last week between
- 2:00Speaker 4: athletics and evangelicals, and this divide is growing, with more
- 2:04Speaker 4: and more Catholics saying nope, I don't support Israel, and
- 2:07Speaker 4: more and more Evangelicals saying, yep, I double down, I
- 2:10Speaker 4: support Israel and the Zionist state. So we'll get into
- 2:14Speaker 4: that a little bit, because I think that while these fissures,
- 2:17Speaker 4: these fractures, these differences may exist, this is a scab
- 2:23Speaker 4: and it's the enemy that's picking at it, in my opinion,
- 2:26Speaker 4: and there's only one win here, right, divide and conquer,
- 2:30Speaker 4: right and of course hate the Jews along the way.
- 2:32Speaker 4: So we'll get into that a little bit. But there's
- 2:35Speaker 4: also the Pope weighing in. He's got some beef with
- 2:39Speaker 4: El Trumpeito speaking about saying I ain't afraid of him.
- 2:43Speaker 4: You know who else city isn't afraid about? Trumpeto Araghi, Right,
- 2:46Speaker 4: that's right, Foreign Minister Araghi of Iran. He starts off
- 2:50Speaker 4: with a media tour after JD Vance's inability to make
- 2:54Speaker 4: a deal with them over the weekend, And I guess
- 2:56Speaker 4: I'll start with the Jdvance clip and then we'll work
- 2:58Speaker 4: our way through to catch you up to listen to this.
- 3:01Speaker 6: We've had a number of substantive discussions with the Iranians.
- 3:04Speaker 6: That's the good news. The bad news is that we
- 3:06Speaker 6: have not reached the agreement. And I think that's bad
- 3:09Speaker 6: news for I Ran much more than it's bad news
- 3:11Speaker 6: for the United States of America. So we go back
- 3:13Speaker 6: to the United States having not come to an agreement.
- 3:16Speaker 6: We've had a number of substantive discussions with the Iranians.
- 3:19Speaker 4: That's and nothing happened, right, nothing happened, and the Vice
- 3:22Speaker 4: President Advance failed in being able to bring them. I
- 3:26Speaker 4: should say the peace talks failed in so much as
- 3:30Speaker 4: Iran wasn't willing to make a deal. It was realistic.
- 3:33Speaker 4: So what happens now, Well, of course trom Beato saying
- 3:36Speaker 4: I am going to use the US Navy to blockade
- 3:40Speaker 4: the Straight. We've got it locked. So before they were
- 3:44Speaker 4: saying they had it controlled. That was their big threat, right,
- 3:47Speaker 4: this was the end the game Iran. If you do
- 3:49Speaker 4: this to Iran, they will block the straight. And then
- 3:51Speaker 4: he said open the straight, you crazy idiots, and blah
- 3:54Speaker 4: blah blah, Praise be to Allah. And they criticized Trump
- 3:58Speaker 4: for that, and it got them to the table and
- 3:59Speaker 4: then showed up and nothing happened. Like I suspected, right,
- 4:03Speaker 4: I was very skeptical that something was gonna happen, but
- 4:06Speaker 4: I try to keep an open mind. And while Vice
- 4:09Speaker 4: President of Vance, excuse me, dvanced saying on Saturday, morning,
- 4:12Speaker 4: no deal. So now who's making his rounds all through
- 4:17Speaker 4: the media. It is Foreign Minister Aragshi, the Foreign Minister
- 4:22Speaker 4: of Iran. He's out there talking all sorts of smack.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Number one, he starts off with saying, look, we are
- 4:30Speaker 4: not afraid, right, we are not afraid with any of you,
- 4:36Speaker 4: with the United States, with anybody, because we're working with Russia. Yep,
- 4:42Speaker 4: listen to this. This is Prime Minister Aragshi.
- 4:46Speaker 7: On.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Let me see which of the shows this was. This
- 4:49Speaker 4: is the one with I forget her name. I think
- 4:52Speaker 4: her name is Kristen Welker. Meet the press, listen to this.
- 4:57Speaker 6: Are you receiving any help from Russia?
- 5:03Speaker 7: Well, we have a strategic partnership with Russia, so that's
- 5:07Speaker 7: a yes. And well, a military cooperation between Iran and
- 5:11Speaker 7: Russia is not something new, It's not a secret. It
- 5:15Speaker 7: has been in the past and is still there and
- 5:17Speaker 7: will continue in the future.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Is Russia helping you locate US forces? I just want
- 5:22Speaker 4: to be very clear here.
- 5:24Speaker 7: Well, I don't have exact military information as far as
- 5:28Speaker 7: I know. We have a very good partnership with Russia.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Very good partnership with Russia. Again, that's Prime Minister Arakchi.
- 5:37Speaker 4: He was on every show. You would have thought this
- 5:39Speaker 4: guy just wrote a best selling book every show. Right,
- 5:43Speaker 4: he went on. He wasn't just there. He went on
- 5:46Speaker 4: to say that there is we don't want to cease fire,
- 5:50Speaker 4: and we don't want any negotiation. He was playing his day,
- 5:55Speaker 4: making it extraordinarily clear that he did not care about
- 5:59Speaker 4: this stuff. All right, listen to this one.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Now you're saying Iron does not want to cease fire.
- 6:05Speaker 7: You are not asking for a ceasefire, and we don't
- 6:09Speaker 7: see any reason why we should negotiate with the US.
- 6:13Speaker 7: But then we negotiated with them twice and every time
- 6:17Speaker 7: they attacked us the middle of negotiations. So there is
- 6:20Speaker 7: no request for a ceisfied by US, and there is
- 6:22Speaker 7: no request for the negotiation with the US from US.
- 6:27Speaker 7: You have never sent any messages to them.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Right now, you're saying Iron does not want to cease fire.
- 6:32Speaker 4: And he made it clear they do not want to
- 6:35Speaker 4: cease fire. He also went on to say, look, we're
- 6:38Speaker 4: also not afraid. We are not afraid. He didn't care.
- 6:41Speaker 4: He also had his buddy, the Supreme Leaders spokesman. They
- 6:44Speaker 4: were both out there making the rounds. But there's a
- 6:48Speaker 4: few different things here. Let me see if I could
- 6:49Speaker 4: find that one here. Let me see here it is.
- 6:53Speaker 4: We are prepared. This is a good one too. I'm
- 6:56Speaker 4: gonna play a little bit of a rocksheet because he
- 6:58Speaker 4: made his rounds. He was, like I said, on all
- 6:59Speaker 4: the sho that was on a different NBC show. Now
- 7:02Speaker 4: this is him on. Let me see which program he's
- 7:05Speaker 4: on here, stand by bear with me, same thing NBC
- 7:08Speaker 4: News And again this is Prime Minister Arakchi, different party,
- 7:12Speaker 4: says he's confident that Iran can counter a potential US
- 7:15Speaker 4: ground invasion.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Listen to this, boots on the ground in Iran, Are
- 7:19Speaker 2: you afraid of a US invasion in your country?
- 7:23Speaker 7: No, the areventing for them.
- 7:26Speaker 2: You were waiting for the US military to invade the ground.
- 7:29Speaker 7: Troops, Yes, because we are confident that we can confront
- 7:33Speaker 7: them and that would be a big disaster for them.
- 7:37Speaker 2: So you're saying that that Iran is ready and willing
- 7:40Speaker 2: to take on the US military if there were to
- 7:42Speaker 2: be ground.
- 7:42Speaker 7: Troops, Well, we are ready for this war even more
- 7:48Speaker 7: than the previous lar. So you can see, you know
- 7:51Speaker 7: the quality of our resize, how much they are upgraded
- 7:55Speaker 7: after the last war, because we learned lots of lessons,
- 7:58Speaker 7: and we are prepared for any other eventuality, even you know,
- 8:02Speaker 7: a ground invasion. So our soldiers are prepared for any scenario.
- 8:07Speaker 7: When I said the ovating for them, it didn't mean
- 8:10Speaker 7: that the ovating for continuation of the war.
- 8:13Speaker 8: No.
- 8:13Speaker 7: What we have prepared ourselves to confront with any scenario,
- 8:17Speaker 7: with any eventuality, any possibility, and we know that we
- 8:21Speaker 7: can handle that.
- 8:22Speaker 5: President Trump.
- 8:23Speaker 4: So he says, listen, I'm not saying I'm looking for
- 8:28Speaker 4: more smoke, but if you got some smoke, then bring it.
- 8:30Speaker 4: We're ready for you. Standing his ground, Listen, this is
- 8:34Speaker 4: what he's doing. I remember being probably fourteen or fifteen
- 8:38Speaker 4: years old and a friend of ours was training with
- 8:42Speaker 4: some members of the Gracie jiu jitsu family through his job.
- 8:47Speaker 4: He was a New Jersey State Trooper with the New
- 8:50Speaker 4: Jersey State Police, so he would teach us stuff. He
- 8:53Speaker 4: was a black belt instructor in jiu jitsu as well,
- 8:57Speaker 4: so the stuff he was learning he would come and
- 8:59Speaker 4: teach me and my boys. One of his nephew was
- 9:03Speaker 4: my was my neighbor, one of my best friends. He
- 9:06Speaker 4: would teach us this stuff and we would go and
- 9:08Speaker 4: get twisted into pretzels and you know, and to not
- 9:11Speaker 4: tap out. When I was in a submission or when
- 9:13Speaker 4: they were trying to put a submission on me, I
- 9:15Speaker 4: would talk so much smack, you know, I mean literally
- 9:17Speaker 4: I got my head, you know, under my knee, you know,
- 9:21Speaker 4: that type of thing. And what would I say, That's
- 9:24Speaker 4: all right, don't worry. I got you right where I
- 9:26Speaker 4: want you. I got you right where I want you.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Why Because sometimes you got to talk smack in the
- 9:30Speaker 4: face of the enemy. Not that this guy's doing. He's
- 9:32Speaker 4: talking a hella smack right here, right because he really
- 9:36Speaker 4: wants people to believe. He wants his people right now.
- 9:39Speaker 4: He's got one audience to fool, the Iranian people, the
- 9:42Speaker 4: ninety million people that are ready to turn around and
- 9:44Speaker 4: oust these guys and have tried, and forty thousand people
- 9:48Speaker 4: were murdered for uprising against the government, against the clerics
- 9:53Speaker 4: that run the Islamic Republic of Iran. So that's all
- 9:58Speaker 4: he's doing, holding onto power. It's a matter of time.
- 10:01Speaker 4: And again I've said this a million times. Trump is
- 10:04Speaker 4: the most pacifistic president we've ever seen. How many times
- 10:08Speaker 4: I'm gonna blow you up, I'm gonna do this, I'm
- 10:10Speaker 4: gonna look and he takes it. Look now he's doing
- 10:12Speaker 4: a blockade, and it's probably gonna be very effective. Right.
- 10:15Speaker 4: He knows how to put the squeeze play on people,
- 10:18Speaker 4: keep the pressure high using the military without massive carnage,
- 10:23Speaker 4: minimalizing the UH or I should say, minimizing the civilian deaths.
- 10:29Speaker 4: I'm sure somebody somewhere what about those girls and what listen?
- 10:33Speaker 4: I feel badly about anybody who's dying. It is a
- 10:35Speaker 4: war and people are gonna die, and I get that,
- 10:37Speaker 4: and it's wrong and it's bad, and I hope that
- 10:39Speaker 4: it ends soon. But I think not a bad thing,
- 10:43Speaker 4: not a horrible thing. It could be worse, is what
- 10:46Speaker 4: I'm saying. When you look at how we're progressing in
- 10:50Speaker 4: this conflict, you gotta take it for what it is.
- 10:52Speaker 4: This is this has a been a largely effective effective
- 10:56Speaker 4: for who for raising gas prices rich, for shooting up
- 11:00Speaker 4: the price of beef. This is like saying, you know,
- 11:05Speaker 4: somebody pushed my wife and grabbed her butt, and then
- 11:09Speaker 4: you go to you know, clock this guy in the
- 11:11Speaker 4: face and somebody starts screaming he's not worth it. In
- 11:15Speaker 4: your mind. You have to do some quick math and say,
- 11:18Speaker 4: what do you mean, he's not worth it. He's not
- 11:20Speaker 4: worth my hand being swollen for two days, knowing that
- 11:23Speaker 4: I pounded this man's face for disrespecting my wife. What
- 11:28Speaker 4: value could you possibly put on that? I mean, what's
- 11:31Speaker 4: the worst that could happen here? Okay, the worst that
- 11:34Speaker 4: could happen is you hit him, He hits the ground,
- 11:36Speaker 4: his head cracks open, he dies, and you go to
- 11:38Speaker 4: jail for manslaughter. Okay, that is the worst. But is
- 11:41Speaker 4: that likely going to happen? Probably not, So I say
- 11:44Speaker 4: you take your chances right. I'm not calling out anyone
- 11:47Speaker 4: to be violent, but I am saying he look, you
- 11:48Speaker 4: gotta do what you gotta do. You make your calculations,
- 11:50Speaker 4: and you figure out what you got to do. But
- 11:53Speaker 4: there's certain situations where he's not worth it. It's not
- 11:56Speaker 4: about his worth. It's about your worth as a man.
- 11:59Speaker 4: It's about you deciding what you're gonna do, sticking by
- 12:02Speaker 4: your word, being the leader of the free world, in
- 12:06Speaker 4: Trump's case, being the United States, and doing the right thing.
- 12:09Speaker 4: He says it every day. We don't need the straits,
- 12:11Speaker 4: we don't need their oil. We've got our own crew.
- 12:13Speaker 4: We got the sweetest crew to ever. We get the
- 12:14Speaker 4: best crewed, it's the best crewed, it's sweet crewed. Listen,
- 12:17Speaker 4: I get it, and I'm all on board. I'm all
- 12:20Speaker 4: on board with getting rid of any of the bullies,
- 12:23Speaker 4: in particular the ones that shout death to America, death
- 12:26Speaker 4: to the United States, death to Israel. Who needs those guys,
- 12:30Speaker 4: I certainly don't. I'm not interested in them in the least,
- 12:35Speaker 4: in the least the death to America crowd. Yet somehow
- 12:38Speaker 4: people say, no, that's Israel's war. It's Israel's war. Well,
- 12:41Speaker 4: guess what. President Trump chimed in on this, and he
- 12:45Speaker 4: had a few things to say when he called into it.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Looks like a Maria Bartiromo show on the Fox News channel.
- 12:51Speaker 4: Listen to this one.
- 12:52Speaker 9: Think of it. They're allowed to say death to America,
- 12:56Speaker 9: death to this death, and I make one statement. They say, oh, oh,
- 13:00Speaker 9: such a big deal. Let me tell you that statement
- 13:02Speaker 9: got them to the bargaining table. And they haven't left.
- 13:05Speaker 9: They haven't left the bargaining table. I predict they come
- 13:08Speaker 9: back and they give us everything we want. And I
- 13:11Speaker 9: tell my people, I want everything. I don't want ninety percent,
- 13:14Speaker 9: I don't want ninety five percent. I told them I
- 13:17Speaker 9: want everything. Think of it, zero think of it.
- 13:21Speaker 4: I am, I'm thinking of it, and I think he's right.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Sometimes you got to talk tough, you got to get
- 13:25Speaker 4: in their face, and you got to stand your ground.
- 13:27Speaker 4: And he's doing all that while being a pacifist, while
- 13:30Speaker 4: not destroying everything inside. And again, it's an option, I
- 13:33Speaker 4: would say, quite frankly, the easiest option, the option that
- 13:35Speaker 4: gets us out of this thing from today to tomorrow.
- 13:37Speaker 4: I understand, I get it, and honestly, I hope it's
- 13:40Speaker 4: not a mistake. I hope it's not a mistake to
- 13:42Speaker 4: keep giving more rope. I think President Trump thinks, and
- 13:45Speaker 4: he's usually right, but I think his thinking here is
- 13:48Speaker 4: keep giving them rope. They're going to hang themselves. But
- 13:51Speaker 4: we also have the Iranians saying, you know, we have
- 13:54Speaker 4: ongoing collaboration with Russia, military cooperation. I understand that. And
- 14:00Speaker 4: then we have China. Now China gets involved in again.
- 14:04Speaker 4: China is I'm presuming patiently waiting. But are they do
- 14:07Speaker 4: they ever really patiently wait? Or are they doing everything
- 14:10Speaker 4: they can, you know, without looking like they're getting involved.
- 14:13Speaker 4: Because if you've got Russia saying, hey, look I'm here,
- 14:16Speaker 4: and I've got Iron's back, because they there are commi
- 14:20Speaker 4: sympathetic friends in the Middle East, just like Israel is
- 14:23Speaker 4: our you know, Western civilization friends in the Middle East.
- 14:27Speaker 4: And then you've got China saying, you know, hey, look
- 14:30Speaker 4: we need our oil. You're holding up eighty percent of
- 14:32Speaker 4: our supply. That makes the United States versus China and Russia,
- 14:40Speaker 4: obviously that's not a fight we want. That's a tough one, right,
- 14:43Speaker 4: not saying one that we couldn't take on, but one
- 14:46Speaker 4: we shouldn't take on because talking about three nuclear powers
- 14:50Speaker 4: duking it out doesn't sound like a good plan to me.
- 14:54Speaker 4: So what happens, Well, President Trump again making a statement
- 14:59Speaker 4: on this over the weekkend as well and or this
- 15:02Speaker 4: morning rather, and I think it was a good thing,
- 15:07Speaker 4: a good thing for him to say what he said.
- 15:09Speaker 4: What he means, we don't know, because he oftentimes plays
- 15:12Speaker 4: these things very very close to the best.
- 15:14Speaker 9: Listen, come on, well, if China does that, China's gonna
- 15:21Speaker 9: have big problems.
- 15:22Speaker 5: Okay.
- 15:25Speaker 4: And again the question was, tell us what you think
- 15:28Speaker 4: about China, who's preparing to ship weapons to Iran? And
- 15:32Speaker 4: he says, well, if China does that, China's gonna have
- 15:35Speaker 4: big problems. And yeah, listen, that would be an escalation
- 15:42Speaker 4: that I think would not be Again, I'm not gonna say, oh,
- 15:45Speaker 4: this is a bad thing. It's it's not a good thing,
- 15:48Speaker 4: but it's not. I mean, it's a this again. You're
- 15:51Speaker 4: in a fight. You're you're punching the guy, the guy
- 15:54Speaker 4: punches you, you punch him back. You're you're trading blows.
- 15:58Speaker 4: You're trying to, you know, knock him out, choke him out,
- 16:00Speaker 4: whatever it is. And he throws a kick, and you
- 16:04Speaker 4: see stars for a second, you stumble that could happen. Right,
- 16:07Speaker 4: These things happen in fights. It doesn't mean you don't win.
- 16:09Speaker 4: The fine doesn't mean that you don't win by ko.
- 16:12Speaker 4: You could do all of the above. And that's the
- 16:15Speaker 4: point I'm making. Nothing's ever as pretty as we'd like
- 16:18Speaker 4: it to be. And I really hope that China doesn't
- 16:20Speaker 4: get involved. But at the end of the day, we
- 16:22Speaker 4: know who our enemies are, and those three are it.
- 16:25Speaker 4: And most presidents, I think, because of the concerns I'm expressing,
- 16:30Speaker 4: have said, you know, we don't want to do this.
- 16:32Speaker 4: We don't want to get into this protracted drama that
- 16:34Speaker 4: could end up in this and end up in that
- 16:36Speaker 4: and end up in the other however, and Trumpito says,
- 16:42Speaker 4: stop being a wooz, take your tail out from between
- 16:44Speaker 4: your legs and take on these bullies. Otherwise they will
- 16:47Speaker 4: continue to spend another half century pushing us and pushing
- 16:52Speaker 4: around the rest of the world and the region. And
- 16:54Speaker 4: I think he's right. So kudos to ed Trompito for
- 16:57Speaker 4: having the kohuntas of steel that he has, and he's
- 16:59Speaker 4: doing the right thing. I really appreciate it. On behalf
- 17:02Speaker 4: of my countryman, God bless America. How was that? That
- 17:05Speaker 4: sounds like a campaign commercial anyway, keep it locked right here,
- 17:07Speaker 4: as Rich valdesk coming right back, because Tucker Carlson sat
- 17:10Speaker 4: down for an interview and it sounds like he was
- 17:12Speaker 4: on payroll for the bad guys and making the case said, look, look,
- 17:17Speaker 4: this is Israel's war. I keep hearing that everywhere, and
- 17:19Speaker 4: that's because some people have a predisposition to not like
- 17:22Speaker 4: the Jews and anything against Israel. A friend of mine
- 17:26Speaker 4: who was left leaning but rather independent, he called me
- 17:29Speaker 4: and man, did he shocked me with the stuff he
- 17:31Speaker 4: was telling me. And he was like, I hate them,
- 17:34Speaker 4: I hate them, I hate them. I said, who do
- 17:36Speaker 4: you hate? And He said, the damn Israeli's pushing our
- 17:40Speaker 4: country around, pushing Trump's button, getting us into all these wars.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Can't they mind their damn business. And I was just like, wow,
- 17:47Speaker 4: who got to you? And he said, I was just
- 17:49Speaker 4: watching the Tucker Carlson interviews. Oh my gosh, oh boy.
- 17:53Speaker 4: I said, Man, I'm gonna have to maybe play some
- 17:56Speaker 4: clips of that, and let's talk about who's really influencing
- 17:59Speaker 4: the American government. And let's be real. I don't think
- 18:02Speaker 4: anybody influences our government. Some people might have influence over
- 18:06Speaker 4: a congressman here or there or certain issues, but at
- 18:09Speaker 4: the end of the days, people are involved in things
- 18:11Speaker 4: they want to be involved in. The anti semits in
- 18:13Speaker 4: our country are anti semits because they're anti semits. Some
- 18:16Speaker 4: are falling victim to the you know, populist pro putin
- 18:20Speaker 4: populist propaganda that's out there, you know, like you know,
- 18:25Speaker 4: the Jews kill Jesus and all that type of thing.
- 18:27Speaker 4: But outside of that, most people don't fall for this,
- 18:30Speaker 4: at least most people in the conservative movement, which is
- 18:33Speaker 4: President Trump's base. And we got a clip from Harry
- 18:36Speaker 4: Enton coming back talking about how well President Trump is
- 18:40Speaker 4: doing with that base when we return, don't go anywhere.
- 18:42Speaker 4: I'm Rich Valdez.
- 18:44Speaker 1: This is America, this is America.
- 18:56Speaker 5: He's brown, he's bald, and he's breaking it down.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Oh he's still has some what's his dame? Rich Valdez?
- 19:06Speaker 4: All right for media, Welcome back, Rich VALDESSI or Liberty
- 19:09Speaker 4: loving Latino. I mean to go here with you this evening,
- 19:11Speaker 4: keeping you company, breaking down everything that's going on in
- 19:14Speaker 4: America at night. And our phone nuvers eight seven seven
- 19:17Speaker 4: Valdez one, if you want to call me. I may
- 19:19Speaker 4: not have time to get into Carls tonight because we're
- 19:21Speaker 4: trying to catch up on all this breaking news and
- 19:23Speaker 4: all these things that happened, and there's a lot that
- 19:25Speaker 4: I want to explain before we wrap up. But I
- 19:28Speaker 4: do want to get into this clip here from Harry Enton.
- 19:31Speaker 4: CNN's Harry Nton, the chief data analyst at CNN. He
- 19:35Speaker 4: talks about Trump versus Carlson, Tucker Carlson, and I don't
- 19:38Speaker 4: typically talk about Tucker Carlson. Most of my career. I've
- 19:41Speaker 4: avoided talking about Tucker Carlson only because I really I've
- 19:45Speaker 4: never met the guy, don't know the guy. I was
- 19:47Speaker 4: never particularly a huge fan of the guy. I wasn't
- 19:52Speaker 4: the detractor per se, but there were things that he'd
- 19:54Speaker 4: said in the past, and I mean the MSNBC bow
- 19:58Speaker 4: Tie Tucker Pass that just weren't there for me. Therefore,
- 20:01Speaker 4: I've never really engaged much with the Tucker debate. But
- 20:05Speaker 4: this is something I will mention because it's CNN and
- 20:08Speaker 4: they're polling the conservative electorate and here's the results.
- 20:12Speaker 10: Let's talk.
- 20:13Speaker 11: Let's start off with Tucker Carlson, who has been in
- 20:16Speaker 11: absolute free fall with Republicans. I mean, just take a
- 20:19Speaker 11: look at this. Look at this trend line. Tucker Carlson's
- 20:22Speaker 11: net favorable back in March of twenty twenty four, when
- 20:24Speaker 11: he and Donald Trump were very close friends. Look at this.
- 20:27Speaker 11: He was at plus fifty four points. Look at where
- 20:29Speaker 11: he is today at only plus seven points among Republicans,
- 20:34Speaker 11: and that includes GOP leaning independence. I mean, that is
- 20:37Speaker 11: a drop of what forty seven percentage points. My goodness, gracious.
- 20:41Speaker 11: When you go up against Donald Trump and you want
- 20:44Speaker 11: to appeal to the Republican base, to quote the movie Good Burger,
- 20:47Speaker 11: you go on the grinder. And that is exactly what
- 20:49Speaker 11: has happened to Tucker Carlson, who is absolutely collapsed among Republicans.
- 20:53Speaker 1: So if it is a choice between the president and
- 20:56Speaker 1: Tucker Carlson among.
- 20:57Speaker 5: These voters, what do they basically say, Yeah.
- 20:59Speaker 11: They choose Donald Trump basically every single time. Look at this, Okay,
- 21:03Speaker 11: the exact same poll is umask lowepole. Look at this
- 21:06Speaker 11: net favorables among Republicans again, this is Republicans plus Republican
- 21:09Speaker 11: leaning independence. You see Carlson on the right side of
- 21:11Speaker 11: your screen at plus somebuch. Look at where Donald Trump
- 21:13Speaker 11: is at plus sixty one points. And this is actually
- 21:16Speaker 11: a bit a little bit low for Donald Trump, and
- 21:18Speaker 11: other polls around the same time he was even higher
- 21:20Speaker 11: than this. Again, he is crushing, crushing Tucker Carlson. What
- 21:23Speaker 11: is this. This is a fifty four point advantage for
- 21:27Speaker 11: Donald Trump over Tucker Carlson when it comes to who
- 21:30Speaker 11: is more popular among Republican voters. And of course this
- 21:33Speaker 11: is even just talking about the MAGA base where Donald
- 21:35Speaker 11: Trump is running and approval writing somewhere between ninety seven
- 21:37Speaker 11: and one hundred percent.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Now that's a big number, a very big number. Fifty
- 21:43Speaker 4: four point lead, right for somebody that was once a
- 21:46Speaker 4: surrogate for President Trump, somebody who was arguably the number
- 21:50Speaker 4: one primetime host on conservative television. The issue here is
- 22:01Speaker 4: he broke from the masses. The majority of people in
- 22:06Speaker 4: the conservative movement believe that Israel has a a right
- 22:09Speaker 4: to exist and be a right to be a Jewish
- 22:13Speaker 4: state if that's what they choose to do. And I
- 22:17Speaker 4: think that same majority is right in line with my thinking,
- 22:20Speaker 4: which is, let them do what they want. Nobody's stopping
- 22:23Speaker 4: you from being a Muslim country. Why would you stop
- 22:25Speaker 4: them from being a Jewish country. But when this conflict happens,
- 22:30Speaker 4: it becomes a thing. Now lots of people want to
- 22:33Speaker 4: talk about Tucker and get into the numbers on Tucker
- 22:38Speaker 4: and listen. I get that, I get it. That's fine.
- 22:42Speaker 4: The numbers are speaking for themselves fifty four points. But
- 22:46Speaker 4: Tucker did an interview with I forget the journalists from
- 22:50Speaker 4: I think it's from Wunibisung, and it was eye opening
- 22:57Speaker 4: because you know, he said what he's typically said, right,
- 23:01Speaker 4: but this time it was to a new audience. Listen
- 23:07Speaker 4: to this.
- 23:09Speaker 10: You've gone from being one of Trump's most visible allies
- 23:13Speaker 10: to openly opposing him on Iran, even calling his rhetoric dangerous.
- 23:17Speaker 10: That doesn't sound like criticism. It sounds like opposition. What changed.
- 23:23Speaker 12: Well, let me just be clear that I've known Donald
- 23:25Speaker 12: Trump for decades. I've always liked him, I continue to
- 23:28Speaker 12: It's not personal in any sense. I feel sorry for
- 23:32Speaker 12: Trump as I do for all slaves, and I'm using
- 23:36Speaker 12: the word slave intentionally. He doesn't have the ability to
- 23:39Speaker 12: make independent decisions right now, and that grieves me, both
- 23:43Speaker 12: as someone who likes him, but also as an American.
- 23:45Speaker 12: Trump would like to get out of this war immediately.
- 23:50Speaker 4: That is an exclusive interview that Tucker Carlson did with
- 23:54Speaker 4: Enrique Assevelo from UNIVCIUNG. And this is again Tucker Carlson
- 24:01Speaker 4: doubling down Trump is a slave. He says Trump is
- 24:05Speaker 4: a slave because he is subject to the whims of
- 24:11Speaker 4: his master in Natanyahu. All right, I'm adding that, but
- 24:14Speaker 4: he just says he's under the spell of Israel. And
- 24:19Speaker 4: this reminds me of of a video I saw the
- 24:24Speaker 4: other day by Shabbas Castenbaum from Praeger You, who had
- 24:29Speaker 4: a debate with a professor recently, and it was very enlightening.
- 24:34Speaker 4: He made a bunch of really good points with respect
- 24:41Speaker 4: to who's really lobbying who, who's got all the influence
- 24:45Speaker 4: how's that going on? And I thought it was, you know,
- 24:50Speaker 4: too long for me to play that for you. But
- 24:52Speaker 4: I pulled a transcript and I'm going to read you
- 24:54Speaker 4: a couple of the excerpts that I thought were, you know,
- 24:58Speaker 4: just fair, just fair points. And you know, he starts
- 25:04Speaker 4: by making the taking the position that there should be
- 25:06Speaker 4: zero aid right in agreement with the professor that he's
- 25:11Speaker 4: arguing with. And but to go further, they start talking about,
- 25:15Speaker 4: you know, who's lobbying who right with respect to the
- 25:18Speaker 4: Foreign Agents Registration Act ranks. People always talk about APAC
- 25:22Speaker 4: lobbying for Israel, this stent and the other. And he
- 25:26Speaker 4: gets into it, saying that the Foreign Agents Registration Act
- 25:28Speaker 4: is a law imposed by the United States in order
- 25:30Speaker 4: to block the access of back then of Nazi Germans
- 25:36Speaker 4: to the United States. And he brings up a point, right,
- 25:41Speaker 4: Chucker Carlson has been pretty favorable to Qatar, And Qatar
- 25:48Speaker 4: has thirty one registered foreign agents compared to Israel, which
- 25:54Speaker 4: only has fifteen foreign agents. And that's from twenty one
- 25:57Speaker 4: to twenty twenty five alone, they logged six hundred and
- 26:01Speaker 4: twenty seven in person meetings with members of Congress. That's
- 26:04Speaker 4: Katar not Israel. That's actually more than three hundred meetings,
- 26:13Speaker 4: more than every other country that lobbies Congress. Isn't that wild.
- 26:19Speaker 4: So Katar by far has had more meetings with anyone
- 26:23Speaker 4: in Congress than, let alone Israel, than every other country
- 26:27Speaker 4: on the globe. That's something I think most people didn't know.
- 26:33Speaker 4: And then he talks about APAC, and he says, I
- 26:34Speaker 4: don't support a PACK largely because they're pretty ineffective. A
- 26:37Speaker 4: pack is an organization that's comprised exclusively of Americans, by Americans,
- 26:41Speaker 4: and for Americans. You don't have to like them, but
- 26:44Speaker 4: that doesn't mean that you're an agent of a foreign country.
- 26:47Speaker 4: Just like Indian Americans have US IMPAC their lobbying arm,
- 26:54Speaker 4: the Armenian Americans have a NCAA, Greek Americans have AHLC,
- 26:59Speaker 4: or the Ukrainian American community has the UCCA. Americans are
- 27:03Speaker 4: free to lobby as they would like, and if you
- 27:05Speaker 4: want to make laws against the lobbying of Americans to
- 27:08Speaker 4: their own government, then fine, let's discuss policy and legislation.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Although unfortunately all we've done is ever obsess over one country, Israel.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Katzebomb argues that in twenty twenty four, APAK is the
- 27:24Speaker 4: one of the American lobbying groups, just like the NRA,
- 27:27Speaker 4: just like the Chamber of Commerce that spent the one
- 27:29Speaker 4: hundred million dollars lobbying and trying to influence elections. In
- 27:33Speaker 4: the same year, China spent half a billion dollars, Japan
- 27:37Speaker 4: spent four hundred million dollars. Big Pharma spent four hundred
- 27:41Speaker 4: million dollars. Saudi Arabia spent three hundred and ten million dollars.
- 27:45Speaker 4: Katar spent a quarter of a billion dollars. But you
- 27:50Speaker 4: wouldn't know this because everybody wants to go after Israel,
- 27:54Speaker 4: just like Tucker. Is why it's been long argued that
- 27:58Speaker 4: Tucker is benefiting one way or another from Qatar. Again, right,
- 28:04Speaker 4: all I know is about some payments that were alleged
- 28:07Speaker 4: to have been made to him. The veracity of that,
- 28:10Speaker 4: I don't know. Just giving you both signs of the
- 28:12Speaker 4: argument here to refute some what he's saying, because I
- 28:14Speaker 4: don't agree with what he's saying. Based on the premise
- 28:17Speaker 4: that the United States doesn't have anything to gain by
- 28:20Speaker 4: being subservient to Israel, What on earth does Israel do
- 28:24Speaker 4: for us? Oh, they've got something on Trump? What could
- 28:27Speaker 4: they possibly have This is a man where they said
- 28:31Speaker 4: you raped nineteen women. They tried to kill him, they
- 28:34Speaker 4: tried to put him in jail, they went after his children.
- 28:40Speaker 4: They have fined him, they impeached him twice, he argues,
- 28:47Speaker 4: and I agree with him that they did some funny
- 28:50Speaker 4: business in the election that caused him to lose. Yep,
- 28:54Speaker 4: I'm with them. I think the games that they played
- 28:58Speaker 4: with the Supreme Court Pennsylvania, and some of the stuff
- 29:01Speaker 4: they did in Wisconsin, and some of the stuff they
- 29:02Speaker 4: did with the drop boxes was enough in those few
- 29:08Speaker 4: states where there was a forty four thousand vote difference
- 29:11Speaker 4: to make a difference in that election. Bottom line here,
- 29:16Speaker 4: these are the facts. Captain Bomb also points out that
- 29:20Speaker 4: President Truman forced the Israelis to stop its advances against
- 29:23Speaker 4: the Egyptian Army back in nineteen forty eight, which would
- 29:26Speaker 4: have destroyed the Egyptian Army un the latterly, President eisenhowerd
- 29:31Speaker 4: forced the State of Israel to pull back from the
- 29:34Speaker 4: Sinai back in nineteen fifty six. President Johnson refused to
- 29:38Speaker 4: greenlight a preemptive strike by Israel against the Egyptians. In
- 29:42Speaker 4: nineteen sixty seven, President Nixon stopped the IDF from crushing
- 29:46Speaker 4: the Egyptian Third Army. President Ford forced the Israelis to
- 29:50Speaker 4: withdraw from strategic areas under sina I II. In that
- 29:53Speaker 4: second agreement, President Carter pressured the Israelis to fully withdraw
- 29:58Speaker 4: from Charmel Shaik Sident Reagan applied pressure to the Israelis
- 30:02Speaker 4: to withdraw from Beirut. Of course, President Bush Senior forbade
- 30:06Speaker 4: the Israelis from responding to Saddam's nineteen ninety one scud
- 30:09Speaker 4: missile attack, and a point that this is a captain
- 30:14Speaker 4: bound pointing out to the professor he's arguing with, saying
- 30:16Speaker 4: he failed to address is If Israel actually controls the
- 30:19Speaker 4: United States government, how come that the greatest exit extential
- 30:25Speaker 4: threat to the State of Israel for the last twenty
- 30:28Speaker 4: years the Iranian Nuclear Deal, the JCPOA, the Joint Comprehensive
- 30:33Speaker 4: Plan of Action of which Bibing at Yahoo and APAK
- 30:36Speaker 4: and almost every single Jewish American lobby as well as
- 30:40Speaker 4: every member of Congress didn't approve, and yet it's still passed. Right,
- 30:48Speaker 4: because if Israel is so big and bad they controlled
- 30:51Speaker 4: the United States, why didn't they control them? Then it's
- 30:55Speaker 4: a brilliant point. So if Israel controls America, they're doing
- 30:58Speaker 4: a pretty crappy job. And that brings he says, this
- 31:02Speaker 4: brings me to my final point. You've said that the
- 31:04Speaker 4: only reason America has enemies in the Middle East is
- 31:07Speaker 4: because of Israel. Well, that doesn't make any sense because,
- 31:10Speaker 4: as I mentioned, the first war the United States ever
- 31:13Speaker 4: fought as a country was Islamists off the coast of Libya,
- 31:18Speaker 4: which was more than one hundred and forty years before
- 31:20Speaker 4: the creation of the state of Israel. That's true. Those
- 31:22Speaker 4: are the Barbary pirates, which really comes to the final point.
- 31:27Speaker 4: The problem we have in the United States is not
- 31:30Speaker 4: something something the Jews or something something Israel. The problem
- 31:33Speaker 4: we have in the United States is the rise of
- 31:35Speaker 4: radical Islam in the last twenty five years. Just to
- 31:39Speaker 4: name a couple of incidents, Niece France, radical Muslim terrorist,
- 31:43Speaker 4: the twenty seventeen Paris attacks, radical Muslim, the reason TSA
- 31:47Speaker 4: checks your shoes at airports, radical Muslim, the underwear bomber,
- 31:50Speaker 4: radical Muslim, the New Westminster attack, radical Muslim New Isis
- 31:57Speaker 4: attack in New Orleans, radical Muslim, Austin Marathon, radical Muslim
- 32:02Speaker 4: Manchester Arena PanAm bombing, fort Hood beltway sniper, all of
- 32:06Speaker 4: that radical Muslims. The list goes on the Ballely bombing motive, rebeat,
- 32:11Speaker 4: USS coal bombing, London bridge attack, Madrid train attack, the
- 32:15Speaker 4: Charlie Hedbow, I remember that, yeah, Sam Bernardino, the United
- 32:19Speaker 4: States Marines bombing and beroot, Little Rock, Army shooting, Chattanooga
- 32:24Speaker 4: military attack, Pulse nightclub massacre, New York City Isis truck attacker, Boulder,
- 32:30Speaker 4: Colorado fire bombing attack, DC shooting, all radical Muslims, Islamists.
- 32:36Speaker 4: And he finishes with saying, Jews that wear Yamukas are
- 32:39Speaker 4: keep us, are not going to blow you up on
- 32:42Speaker 4: a subway station. But unfortunately radical Islamis have shown what
- 32:47Speaker 4: they will do. So the case is clear. How could
- 32:50Speaker 4: Tucker Carlson even attempt to try and be an apologist
- 32:55Speaker 4: for the radical Muslims when the proof is right there
- 32:58Speaker 4: before our very eyes. The only thing he's got going
- 33:02Speaker 4: for him is that there are certain people with a
- 33:05Speaker 4: predisposition against the Jews that are willing to entertain that.
- 33:09Speaker 4: And he's a very good rhetorician. The guy's a professional broadcaster.
- 33:13Speaker 4: He's been around politics for a long time. He's very swift,
- 33:16Speaker 4: and he's got a very winsome way about himself, So
- 33:19Speaker 4: that's persuasive. People love this man, or I should say loved,
- 33:25Speaker 4: and I'm sure he has quite a large following still
- 33:28Speaker 4: and they believe him to be a household name. And
- 33:30Speaker 4: I'm not saying that he's a sellout that is against America,
- 33:33Speaker 4: although that's questionable. I'm saying that he has a difference
- 33:37Speaker 4: of opinion. His opinion is one where he doesn't think
- 33:41Speaker 4: Jews are good. He thinks Jews are bad. He thinks
- 33:44Speaker 4: Jews are bad for America, or at least our relations
- 33:48Speaker 4: with Israel are bad for America. And he makes it
- 33:51Speaker 4: known as much as he can. And there's a bunch
- 33:54Speaker 4: of people out there that do that, right, and they
- 33:57Speaker 4: all stop short of saying they hate the Jews. They say, no, no,
- 34:01Speaker 4: I'm just asking questions or how is that America first? Right?
- 34:04Speaker 4: They ask all these rhetorical questions, and they try to
- 34:08Speaker 4: get you to dig deep for a bad experience you
- 34:13Speaker 4: may have had, or something you may have read, or
- 34:15Speaker 4: some sort of online propaganda, or even something that that
- 34:20Speaker 4: is a personal part of your history, whatever the case
- 34:24Speaker 4: may be. I don't think it's accurate. I don't think
- 34:28Speaker 4: it's fair and I don't think it's right. And I
- 34:30Speaker 4: would do the same thing if somebody was saying, you know,
- 34:33Speaker 4: and I do it right. People oftentimes do this with
- 34:35Speaker 4: African Americans, and you know, they they'll say the up
- 34:40Speaker 4: usual suspects, let me guess who it was right. And
- 34:44Speaker 4: I understand that from a statistical point, you can do that,
- 34:48Speaker 4: just like you could do it with radical Muslims when
- 34:50Speaker 4: it comes to these violent attacks. But they do it
- 34:53Speaker 4: with the Jews, and the Jews, quite frankly, don't have
- 34:57Speaker 4: that reputation, and that's why I think it's not fair.
- 35:00Speaker 4: You can play the stereotypical game all you want. I'm
- 35:03Speaker 4: all for free speech, but at some point you have
- 35:06Speaker 4: to make sense. You have to make it make sense.
- 35:08Speaker 4: Quite frankly, just because some people don't like Jews or
- 35:11Speaker 4: people who have had a bad experience with certain Hasidics
- 35:13Speaker 4: in certain parts of New York or wherever they might
- 35:16Speaker 4: be from, doesn't mean that Israel doesn't have a right
- 35:19Speaker 4: to exist and that somehow Israel is calling the shots.
- 35:23Speaker 4: I mean, ask yourself this, If Israel we're calling the shots,
- 35:26Speaker 4: why on earth would we be in the middle of
- 35:28Speaker 4: a ceasefire, right now, Why on earth? When it's clear
- 35:32Speaker 4: netnya who's ready to go at any moment, right you
- 35:35Speaker 4: say the word we go to me? It doesn't seem
- 35:37Speaker 4: like he cares because he's a very clear mission to
- 35:39Speaker 4: defend his country. He's there on the front lines. So listen,
- 35:44Speaker 4: the next time somebody tells you that we're fighting Iran's war,
- 35:47Speaker 4: think about everything we just talked about. Let that sit
- 35:50Speaker 4: on you for a second and realize that there are actors,
- 35:53Speaker 4: bad actors in international places like Russia, Iran and China
- 36:00Speaker 4: that really really want, instead of a united following of
- 36:05Speaker 4: Christians in America, followers of Christ to agree on more
- 36:10Speaker 4: than they disagree. They're hoping they can pick on the
- 36:13Speaker 4: scab and make it bleed and get the Catholics to
- 36:16Speaker 4: say it's the Jews that killed Jesus, we hate the Jews,
- 36:20Speaker 4: and get the Evangelicals to go against the Catholics, or
- 36:23Speaker 4: the Catholics against the Evangelicals, to weaken the base. That's
- 36:28Speaker 4: all this is is a political play. Don't believe the hype,
- 36:31Speaker 4: don't take the bait. I'm Rich Valdesk coming right back.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Don't go anywhere this is America.
- 36:52Speaker 5: This is America.
- 37:00Speaker 4: President Sima jakes up, mister President, welcome to the program.
- 37:03Speaker 5: Service. Well, thank you, rich and thank you for everything.
- 37:06Speaker 13: I know you very well and I have I listened,
- 37:09Speaker 13: but I have a lot of people that listen and
- 37:11Speaker 13: they love your show, and I appreciate it very much.
- 37:14Speaker 4: All right, I mean, he goes, welcome back, and as promised,
- 37:17Speaker 4: we've got some conversation on the latest Boatinche coming out
- 37:21Speaker 4: of New York City. That's right. Zora Mamdani, the mayor
- 37:24Speaker 4: of New York City, completed one hundred days, and in
- 37:27Speaker 4: true communist sympathizer fashion, the Democrats socialist brought Bernie Sanders senator.
- 37:33Speaker 4: But no, it said this healthcare is all right? A
- 37:37Speaker 4: senator said this was their accompanying zoron to talk about
- 37:40Speaker 4: how great it is to have bo DGAs bodegas. Yeah,
- 37:43Speaker 4: that's right, bovegas run by the city. So every bode ghetto,
- 37:47Speaker 4: every Dominican bodaghetto used to be Puerto Rican bolghettos and
- 37:51Speaker 4: Cuban bolegados. Now the boleghetto is gonna be Mamdani. I
- 37:55Speaker 4: even needle, But this is what's really happening. And he
- 37:58Speaker 4: gave his speech, and he was I'm so proud of
- 38:00Speaker 4: this and his one hundred Days address. Listen to this.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Are many who use socialists as a dirty word, something.
- 38:08Speaker 12: To be ashamed of.
- 38:09Speaker 4: Yes, I do view socialists as a dirty word, and
- 38:12Speaker 4: I think you should be ashamed of it. Go right
- 38:13Speaker 4: to head, sir.
- 38:15Speaker 9: They can try all they want, but we will not
- 38:17Speaker 9: be ashamed of using government to fight.
- 38:19Speaker 2: For the many, not simply the few.
- 38:21Speaker 9: During our campaign, we promised New Yorkers that we would.
- 38:24Speaker 8: Create a network of five city owned grocery stores, one
- 38:28Speaker 8: in each borough.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Today we make good on that promise. I am proud
- 38:36Speaker 2: to announce that we.
- 38:38Speaker 8: Will open every single one of these stores by the
- 38:41Speaker 8: end of our first term, and.
- 38:46Speaker 2: The first one will open next year.
- 38:50Speaker 4: Today, before we get to the senator, Senator Bernie, send
- 38:54Speaker 4: us Bernie bros In the building, I want to talk
- 38:58Speaker 4: about this bodega, right, these government owned bodegas. This is
- 39:02Speaker 4: a horrible idea. And again why, because why on earth
- 39:07Speaker 4: would we want the government to be in charge of
- 39:10Speaker 4: anything more than they're already in charge of. They already
- 39:13Speaker 4: suck at doing what they do, right, I mean imagine that,
- 39:17Speaker 4: Imagine like, oh, you know what the government wants to
- 39:19Speaker 4: take over Uber because sometimes you have to pay surge
- 39:22Speaker 4: pricing and Uber might be laid. And yeah, let's get
- 39:25Speaker 4: the government. Imagine the government. They already have government transportation.
- 39:29Speaker 4: It's called the NTA, the subways, the buses. They suck.
- 39:33Speaker 4: We've seen what they can do. Why on earth we
- 39:35Speaker 4: would entrust them with the bodega and God forbid the
- 39:38Speaker 4: bodega cat that comes along with the odega. Anyway, Mamdani's
- 39:42Speaker 4: planned to spend thirty million dollars to open five New
- 39:45Speaker 4: York City owned supermarkets. This is gonna mess up a
- 39:49Speaker 4: lot of grocery people, and one of them saying, I
- 39:52Speaker 4: almost fell back. This isn't a New York Post. He
- 39:56Speaker 4: unveiled this plan with the idea that this was a
- 40:01Speaker 4: big part of his campaign, and he said this yesterday
- 40:05Speaker 4: at his one hundred day's speech, and Avi Kayner, who
- 40:09Speaker 4: is the former owner of a seventeen store Morton Williams
- 40:13Speaker 4: grocery chain, said I almost fell back when I saw
- 40:15Speaker 4: the thirty million dollar number. Anthony Penya said of the
- 40:19Speaker 4: National Supermarket Association, and he said that to the New
- 40:22Speaker 4: York Post. Then Avi Kayner is the one that said
- 40:26Speaker 4: thirty million dollars is an awful lot to spend, excuse me,
- 40:30Speaker 4: to build one supermarket, and forgive me, I thought that
- 40:32Speaker 4: was for all of them, that is for one supermarket.
- 40:35Speaker 4: So there you go. That's government doing what government does worst, right,
- 40:42Speaker 4: spending our money, spending it poorly what they do best.
- 40:46Speaker 4: Both mister Kayner and mister Penya both said that a
- 40:48Speaker 4: typical fifteen thousand square foot store without elevators or escalators
- 40:53Speaker 4: would cost under ten million dollars to build. But of
- 40:56Speaker 4: course when you're the government, you've got to add in
- 40:59Speaker 4: all the prevailing ways union this union, that pay for this,
- 41:02Speaker 4: pay for that, pay for the person with the flag outside,
- 41:04Speaker 4: all this stuff. They love to spend money. And the
- 41:09Speaker 4: location of the store is really what's raising a lot
- 41:11Speaker 4: of concerns with some existing grocery executives. The city owned
- 41:15Speaker 4: store would be built on an empty lot next to
- 41:17Speaker 4: La marketa decades old city owned marketplace located under the
- 41:23Speaker 4: Metro North Railroad tracks at the corner of one hundred
- 41:26Speaker 4: and fifteenth Street and Park Avenue. The problem is the
- 41:29Speaker 4: new location is far from qualifying as a so called
- 41:32Speaker 4: food desert, which is where they said they were going
- 41:34Speaker 4: to put these stores. So what happens. There are already
- 41:39Speaker 4: five grocery stores within a two block radius of La Marketa,
- 41:43Speaker 4: including Fine, Fair City Fresh, Cherry Valley, and that's all
- 41:47Speaker 4: according to the National Supermarket Association data, fifteen stores are
- 41:52Speaker 4: located within five blocks of that site. So basically, you're
- 41:57Speaker 4: gonna put the government store in there that's going to
- 41:59Speaker 4: be paid for by taxpayer dollars, so that you can
- 42:03Speaker 4: go ahead and put the other stores that are in
- 42:06Speaker 4: the area out of business while you spend so much
- 42:10Speaker 4: more money to do it, and you're probably spending those
- 42:13Speaker 4: very same store owners their money and the people that
- 42:16Speaker 4: use those stores anyway, they go on to say it's
- 42:20Speaker 4: a slap in the face that the city struggling independent grocers,
- 42:22Speaker 4: and those store owners are furious, mister Piny said. He
- 42:27Speaker 4: added that it's hard to cut prices when your property
- 42:29Speaker 4: taxes are going up by ten percent. They're dwindling. Numbers
- 42:33Speaker 4: are going down from four hundred to nearly are down
- 42:37Speaker 4: to four hundred from nearly five hundred in twenty twenty one.
- 42:40Speaker 4: That's how many grocery stores they've already lost due to
- 42:44Speaker 4: the high cost of doing business in New York City
- 42:47Speaker 4: and the persistent shoplifting problem that they have. The city
- 42:50Speaker 4: did not disclose the size of the Harlem store. The
- 42:54Speaker 4: thirty million dollar represents the capital investment for the group
- 42:59Speaker 4: that's going to, you know, create the construction from the
- 43:01Speaker 4: ground up for the first store. According to the mayor's office, Wow,
- 43:05Speaker 4: that's wild. Sixty five thousand residents live within a ten
- 43:09Speaker 4: minute walk of La Marqueta, and forty percent of them
- 43:12Speaker 4: are on public assistance, the mayor said in a video
- 43:16Speaker 4: that is on X promoting the plan. So look at
- 43:18Speaker 4: that's more government, more government, more government. Unbelievable and that
- 43:23Speaker 4: doesn't surprise me as to why Bernie Sanders would be
- 43:28Speaker 4: his number one cheerleader on this last quote. Here, we
- 43:32Speaker 4: believe it's fundamentally unfair to use tax dollars collected from
- 43:35Speaker 4: hardworking citizens and existing local businesses to subsidize unproven government
- 43:40Speaker 4: run endeavors. That's Carlos Coyado, a Bronx supermarket owner who
- 43:44Speaker 4: is the vice president at the city's Bodega and Small
- 43:47Speaker 4: Business Group. Yeah. Meanwhile, I believe that same group endorsed
- 43:52Speaker 4: Mamdani and they held us on these funds would be
- 43:56Speaker 4: better spent on infrastructure or direct assistance rather than competing
- 44:01Speaker 4: against the private sector. Previously, the administration said that its
- 44:06Speaker 4: investment in five city owned grocery stores would only cost
- 44:10Speaker 4: seventy million for all five, and then that's something. So
- 44:14Speaker 4: we went from seventy to one hundred and fifty million,
- 44:17Speaker 4: the mayor said in the statement. When corporations control every
- 44:20Speaker 4: part of the food supply chain, prices go up. We
- 44:22Speaker 4: just stay flat, and workers and consumers both lose. This
- 44:25Speaker 4: is why we're advancing a public option one rooted in
- 44:28Speaker 4: the belief that our city can and must intervene where
- 44:31Speaker 4: the market has failed. Ohno's it's so crazy to think
- 44:35Speaker 4: that that, you know, the government somehow can can be
- 44:39Speaker 4: the cure to the market working. He went on to say,
- 44:43Speaker 4: we cannot accept the status quo where even the most
- 44:45Speaker 4: basic necessity putting food on the table feels out of reach.
- 44:48Speaker 4: So imagine that. What's the next argument going to be, well,
- 44:51Speaker 4: I lost my job because I was late. Well, you
- 44:53Speaker 4: know what, that's unfair. We're going to create jobs for
- 44:55Speaker 4: people that want to be late. If you're going to
- 44:57Speaker 4: be late, you should also have the opportunity to to
- 45:00Speaker 4: earn a six figure salary so that you can put
- 45:02Speaker 4: food on your table. It's like when AOC all out crazy.
- 45:05Speaker 4: My least favorite congresswoman from the Bronx and Queens said
- 45:08Speaker 4: that the reason people were looting and taking big screen
- 45:12Speaker 4: TVs was because they were trying to feed their families. Right,
- 45:16Speaker 4: that they were just trying to steal a loaf of bread.
- 45:20Speaker 4: Oh man, you can't make this stuff up. They think
- 45:24Speaker 4: you're dumb. I would venture to say, they know most
- 45:28Speaker 4: people are dumb and are going to buy their bs,
- 45:30Speaker 4: and that's why they peddle it. Anyway, let's go back
- 45:34Speaker 4: to uh, but say this and see what he has
- 45:37Speaker 4: to say.
- 45:38Speaker 3: His announcement by the mayor of a new city run
- 45:42Speaker 3: or new city run grocery stores is just another example
- 45:47Speaker 3: of government working for the people.
- 45:51Speaker 5: Uh.
- 45:52Speaker 3: You know, I know that the mayor has been criticized.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Some say this is a radical ideal. I'll tell you
- 46:01Speaker 3: what is a radical idea? Of giving tax breaks to
- 46:03Speaker 3: billionaires throwing people off healthcare?
- 46:06Speaker 8: That's radical.
- 46:10Speaker 4: Healthcare? Is it right? I just had to do that,
- 46:13Speaker 4: go ahead.
- 46:13Speaker 8: What's radical is starting a terrible war, that's radical. But
- 46:24Speaker 8: providing affordable food to working families that's not radical. It's
- 46:29Speaker 8: exactly the right thing.
- 46:31Speaker 4: To do so. That is against Senator Bernie Sanders out
- 46:38Speaker 4: there singing his song making love to the ear drums
- 46:42Speaker 4: of people who want the easy way out. It's my opinion,
- 46:46Speaker 4: and this is it. So now it's government working for
- 46:50Speaker 4: the people. Government, how about the people work for the people. Shoot,
- 46:54Speaker 4: I've been through rough times. I still go through them.
- 46:56Speaker 4: Sometimes I don't turn to the government, meant unless I'm
- 47:00Speaker 4: entitled to something that I'm actually entitled to. Right, I
- 47:05Speaker 4: want my tax refunds. I want whatever is coming my way. Right,
- 47:09Speaker 4: Trump's check. Right, Trump said he's given me a check
- 47:12Speaker 4: on Tariff's dividends. I love it, but I don't subscribe
- 47:17Speaker 4: to the idea that we should all be in fela
- 47:22Speaker 4: right online for some sort of government program. That's not
- 47:25Speaker 4: a good idea and it's not sustainable. The idea that
- 47:28Speaker 4: AI is going to replace so many jobs. And Elon
- 47:30Speaker 4: Musk saying that we have to provide some sort of
- 47:34Speaker 4: government assistance, and I believe he was talking about something
- 47:38Speaker 4: to the tune of fifteen thousand dollars per month so
- 47:42Speaker 4: that people can live really well, and that this money
- 47:44Speaker 4: would come from all of the endeavors that Trump is
- 47:46Speaker 4: involved in, like collecting a percentage, a security fee, a
- 47:52Speaker 4: percentage on the tolls from the Strait of Hormuz, a
- 47:55Speaker 4: higher fee from NATO to protect the Europeans from Russia,
- 48:01Speaker 4: and things of that nature. That all that money's going
- 48:03Speaker 4: to be pouring in along with tariff money, and those
- 48:06Speaker 4: dividends will go into a sovereign wealth fund that would
- 48:09Speaker 4: get divvied up amongst the American people. So the United
- 48:12Speaker 4: States would in fact create a surplus and make money
- 48:14Speaker 4: and give it to people. Now it sounds like a
- 48:17Speaker 4: utopian beauty. I love it. Sign me up. I want
- 48:21Speaker 4: to spend some of that money that I'm cashing in.
- 48:23Speaker 4: I now own a piece of US inc. But that
- 48:26Speaker 4: hasn't happened, and I don't know that it's going to
- 48:28Speaker 4: happen just yet. So when I say, Mom, Dinny, keep
- 48:35Speaker 4: your stores, don't open any grocery stores. People who need
- 48:38Speaker 4: help with groceries, we already have. That's called food stamps.
- 48:41Speaker 4: That's already there. You want to have a bodega in
- 48:47Speaker 4: a food desert, talk to Walmart, talk to Target, talk
- 48:50Speaker 4: to anybody you want. You can get the attention of
- 48:52Speaker 4: anybody you need. Talk to the Boleega Association. You just
- 48:56Speaker 4: had three different guys in that New York Post article,
- 48:58Speaker 4: who are all supermarket owners. Talk to them and say, hey, look,
- 49:02Speaker 4: we're going to give you a tax break for the billionaires.
- 49:05Speaker 4: The billionaires get that's why we do things like that,
- 49:08Speaker 4: because they know how to do this, and they do
- 49:09Speaker 4: it well. They're already in the market, and you say, look,
- 49:12Speaker 4: we're going to incentivize you to make this here. That's it.
- 49:17Speaker 4: You don't have to pay this much in taxes this year.
- 49:20Speaker 4: It'll start in five years, so that you know, you
- 49:22Speaker 4: get a chance to make more money and you serve
- 49:24Speaker 4: the community. Win, win. That's how this works. But instead
- 49:29Speaker 4: now this guy, no, no, don't worry about it. Instead of
- 49:32Speaker 4: discounting these things, we're gonna go ahead and take more
- 49:34Speaker 4: of your money, spend more of your money, and mismanage
- 49:37Speaker 4: the whole thing. Absolutely atrocious. Anyway, straight ahead, there's beef
- 49:43Speaker 4: on the streets. Who's got that beef? El Trompeto. Donald Magnus,
- 49:48Speaker 4: the forty fifth and forty seventh president of these United States,
- 49:51Speaker 4: is having beef with who El Papa? That's right, Pope Leo.
- 49:56Speaker 4: They've got a little bit back and forth, all sorts
- 49:58Speaker 4: of drama coming out over weekend. We're gonna get into
- 50:01Speaker 4: that straight ahead. Don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Valdez.
- 50:04Speaker 1: This is America, this is America.
- 50:21Speaker 5: He's making podcasting great again. This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 50:32Speaker 4: All right, amigos, welcome back. It's Rich Valdez Valdez with
- 50:35Speaker 4: ans at Rich valdest on all of the social media.
- 50:38Speaker 4: You're liberty loving Latino amigo. Reminding you to make sure
- 50:40Speaker 4: you're subscribed to the Rumble channel. That's Rumbo dot com.
- 50:44Speaker 4: This is America, Rich Valdez, and then you can do
- 50:47Speaker 4: it on YouTube and make sure you're subscribed to. What
- 50:49Speaker 4: are the podcast apps? If you don't have a podcast app,
- 50:52Speaker 4: I recommend you get one. I like the iHeartRadio app.
- 50:54Speaker 4: I think it works really really well. We distribute through
- 50:57Speaker 4: one of their products. But listen, you do whatever works
- 51:00Speaker 4: for you. I also use the Apple Podcast app because
- 51:02Speaker 4: I have an Apple phone. Either way, my point is,
- 51:05Speaker 4: it's always good to get the notification when new episodes
- 51:07Speaker 4: come out because sometimes there's a glitch here and there.
- 51:09Speaker 4: I have recently heard about a little bit of a
- 51:10Speaker 4: slow down. Some of it is human error, some of
- 51:13Speaker 4: it is whatever. But point is, you want to know
- 51:15Speaker 4: when the next episode's coming out. It should be every day,
- 51:17Speaker 4: available sometime between nine and midnight. But if you don't
- 51:20Speaker 4: get it, feel free to have the app let you know.
- 51:23Speaker 4: And I'm looking forward to sharing some more about our
- 51:28Speaker 4: subscription program which is coming up soon. You'll have a
- 51:32Speaker 4: chance to be involved in that if you want. Nothing
- 51:34Speaker 4: will change. Everything will always be free. Free ad supported
- 51:40Speaker 4: programming is what I've always done and what I'll always do.
- 51:43Speaker 4: But some people say, hey, look, I'm willing to spend
- 51:45Speaker 4: a couple of bucks a month to skip the commercials.
- 51:48Speaker 4: I'm willing to spend a couple of bucks a month
- 51:50Speaker 4: to get some behind the scenes action. So enough of
- 51:53Speaker 4: you have asked that that option is coming your way
- 51:55Speaker 4: soon enough, as is the merch. There was supposed to
- 51:57Speaker 4: be a merch drop last year, and there was one
- 52:00Speaker 4: the year before that of the flag logo shirt that
- 52:03Speaker 4: says Rich Valdesk. Thank you guys for those of you
- 52:05Speaker 4: who got one of those. But I do have some
- 52:09Speaker 4: more requests and a couple of people who want the
- 52:12Speaker 4: funco pop bubblehead of Richvaldesk. That's pretty funny. That's going
- 52:16Speaker 4: to be coming out to Plus we have the liberty
- 52:17Speaker 4: loving Latino Amigo hat and a T shirt to match.
- 52:21Speaker 4: So anyway, keep your eyes open for that on my
- 52:24Speaker 4: social media handle at rich Valdes on all of the
- 52:27Speaker 4: social media and you'll find out exactly where you can
- 52:29Speaker 4: get those. In the meantime, richvaldesk dot com remains the
- 52:32Speaker 4: main place to check out everything we're doing and of
- 52:35Speaker 4: course our show. There are video drops that go directly
- 52:40Speaker 4: translated into Spanish, the AI. If you have someone that
- 52:45Speaker 4: is Hispanic that wants to consume my content to listen
- 52:50Speaker 4: to my show, they can do it in Spanish and
- 52:53Speaker 4: they could listen to me in my own voice through
- 52:55Speaker 4: AI in Spanish, and I do speak Spanish, but this
- 52:58Speaker 4: allows me to do this and not have to do
- 53:00Speaker 4: a second show just in Spanish. So that has been
- 53:06Speaker 4: a great way to leverage and scale the show, and
- 53:09Speaker 4: we are really grateful for the support we're getting from
- 53:13Speaker 4: our partners in that Festiva Media, which is part of
- 53:17Speaker 4: twenty four Carrot Records and Global Media Foundation Federation Excuse Me,
- 53:21Speaker 4: which is run by raoul A Costa. He's the lead
- 53:25Speaker 4: singer of Otto Solilo inning Le solid Go. If you're
- 53:29Speaker 4: familiar with their music, that's one of their catchphrases. And
- 53:32Speaker 4: Raoul mister Otto Solio himself at Presidente then Medengue a
- 53:37Speaker 4: big fan of this program and bringing it to the
- 53:39Speaker 4: masses in Dominican Republic, in North America as well, but
- 53:44Speaker 4: in South America and the Caribbean, and allowing us to
- 53:48Speaker 4: reach ninety million households that are registered to view the program.
- 53:54Speaker 4: So that is wonderful. Shout out to Roku as well.
- 53:57Speaker 4: So if you're interested in that, you know what to do.
- 53:59Speaker 4: Just go to Valde dot TV and pick the channel
- 54:02Speaker 4: this iss Rich Valdees and there you go. Now, I
- 54:05Speaker 4: want to talk about this beef. We have this beef
- 54:09Speaker 4: that's been in these streets with Pope Francis, right, Pope Francis,
- 54:13Speaker 4: no excuse me, Pope Leo, the new Pope. He was
- 54:15Speaker 4: on CBS News. They did a quick stand up interview
- 54:18Speaker 4: with him, and he just came out and said, I
- 54:21Speaker 4: am not afraid of President Trump. Listen to this.
- 54:25Speaker 3: I have no fear on the other the administration or
- 54:29Speaker 3: speaking about the about the message of the Gospels, and
- 54:32Speaker 3: that's what I believe.
- 54:34Speaker 14: I am all to know what the church is called
- 54:36Speaker 14: to you if we're not politicians we're not looking to
- 54:39Speaker 14: pick with foreign policies. He calls it with the same
- 54:43Speaker 14: perspective that he might understand it. But I do believe
- 54:46Speaker 14: that the professor of the Gospel listen to the peacemakers.
- 54:50Speaker 4: With the message of the ward leads to your chis
- 54:53Speaker 4: that is Pope Leo aboard. I'm gonna call it Pope
- 54:56Speaker 4: Force one. He's on a looks like a private jet
- 55:00Speaker 4: that is specifically for him and his crew. And this
- 55:05Speaker 4: was provided. This clip was provided through Vatican Media to
- 55:09Speaker 4: CBS News and that is what he had to say,
- 55:14Speaker 4: now ed Trompito. Also, he was also commenting on that
- 55:19Speaker 4: he ordered some Mickey D's to the White House today,
- 55:23Speaker 4: and interestingly, you know, took a lot of questions from
- 55:27Speaker 4: the press and in this impromptu press conference and addressed
- 55:33Speaker 4: his ongoing disputes with the Pope. And I think we
- 55:41Speaker 4: have a clip of that. Let me see. Well, first,
- 55:44Speaker 4: he talked about how he posted a picture of him
- 55:49Speaker 4: wearing a white robe and a red scarf, and it
- 55:53Speaker 4: looks like some of the cartoons that I watched as
- 55:55Speaker 4: a kid and that my kids watched when they were kids,
- 55:58Speaker 4: but instead of Jesus's head, it is Trump, and he's
- 56:01Speaker 4: got his hand on someone's forehead and this like glowing
- 56:04Speaker 4: substance coming from his hand, as if he's performing a miracle,
- 56:07Speaker 4: healing the sick. And it took many by surprise as blasphemous.
- 56:14Speaker 4: And listen, I'll be one of the first to say,
- 56:16Speaker 4: if the intention was to portray yourself, even jokingly, as
- 56:21Speaker 4: as the savior, then yeah, that seems blasphemous to me,
- 56:25Speaker 4: and I don't think it's cool. But President Trump says, no, no, no,
- 56:30Speaker 4: we were. I did post a picture, but I thought
- 56:32Speaker 4: I had something to do with helping people, the type
- 56:35Speaker 4: of aid that we're providing, kind of like the Red Cross.
- 56:38Speaker 4: Listen to this, she loves that picture of yourself to
- 56:43Speaker 4: Jesus Christ, Well, it wasn't a picture. It was me.
- 56:47Speaker 13: I did first it, and I thought it was me
- 56:49Speaker 13: as a doctor and had to do with the Red
- 56:51Speaker 13: Cross as a Red Cross worker there, which we support.
- 56:55Speaker 13: And only the fake news could come up with that one.
- 56:58Speaker 13: So I had I just heard about it, and I said,
- 57:02Speaker 13: how did they come up with that? It's supposed to
- 57:05Speaker 13: be me as a doctor making people better, and I
- 57:08Speaker 13: do make people better. I make people a lot better.
- 57:11Speaker 13: As an example, the eleven thousand. I understand your husband's
- 57:15Speaker 13: going through.
- 57:16Speaker 2: A treatment, yes, sir, Yes, sir, He's going to.
- 57:18Speaker 13: Do some very serious cancer treatment. So yes, this goes
- 57:22Speaker 13: a long way.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Yes sir, it sure does.
- 57:25Speaker 4: That is a trompito outside of the Oval office and
- 57:29Speaker 4: he's speaking to a woman wearing a red shirt that
- 57:31Speaker 4: says door Dash Grandma. And this door Dash Ablita was
- 57:35Speaker 4: there to deliver the Mickey D's that he ordered to
- 57:37Speaker 4: the West wing, and you know, he talked to her
- 57:41Speaker 4: and gave her a substantial tip after the media said,
- 57:43Speaker 4: hey is a good tipper, and he pulled out a
- 57:45Speaker 4: bunch of money and gave it to her, and it
- 57:47Speaker 4: was it was great. I just think, you know what
- 57:50Speaker 4: other president does these things, even if you think they're gimmicky.
- 57:53Speaker 4: He understands this stuff and he really does relate. I
- 57:57Speaker 4: can't imagine Obama ever doing that. I can't imagine Biden
- 58:02Speaker 4: ever doing that. And I know that neither of them
- 58:04Speaker 4: ever did. I've never saw them ever talk to a
- 58:07Speaker 4: tipped worker. She went on to talk about the importance
- 58:10Speaker 4: of no tax on tips, and he also doubled down
- 58:14Speaker 4: on some of the conflict that he was having with
- 58:22Speaker 4: the pope. He said on social media, Pope Leo is
- 58:26Speaker 4: weak on crime and terrible for foreign policy. He talks
- 58:30Speaker 4: about fear of the Trump administration, but doesn't mention the
- 58:34Speaker 4: fear that the Catholic Church and all other Christian organizations
- 58:37Speaker 4: had during COVID when they were arresting priests and ministers
- 58:41Speaker 4: and everybody else for holding church services, even when going
- 58:45Speaker 4: outside and being ten and twenty feet apart. He goes on.
- 58:50Speaker 4: He says, I like his brother Lewis much better than
- 58:52Speaker 4: I like him, because Lewis is all maga. He gets it,
- 58:57Speaker 4: and Leo doesn't. I don't want to pope who thinks
- 59:00Speaker 4: it's okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon. I
- 59:03Speaker 4: don't want a pope who thinks it's terrible that America
- 59:06Speaker 4: attacked Venezuela, a country that was sending massive amounts of
- 59:09Speaker 4: drugs into the United States and even worse, emptying their
- 59:12Speaker 4: prisons and including murderers, drug dealers and killers right into
- 59:17Speaker 4: our country. And he kept on, and I don't know
- 59:19Speaker 4: do we have the clip of that. If we do, letter.
- 59:23Speaker 14: Rip sense in English, I would simply say once again
- 59:30Speaker 14: what I said in the or to be messaged on Sunday,
- 59:34Speaker 14: asking all people of goodwill to search always for peace
- 59:38Speaker 14: and not violence, to reject war, especially a war which
- 59:44Speaker 14: many people have said is an unjust war, which is
- 59:49Speaker 14: continuing to escalate and which is not resolving anything. In fact,
- 59:56Speaker 14: we have a worldwideide economic crisis, energy crisis, situation in
- 1:00:01Speaker 14: the Middle East of great instability, which is only provoking
- 1:00:05Speaker 14: more hatred throughout the world. So come back to the table,
- 1:00:09Speaker 14: let's talk, let's look for solutions in a peaceful way,
- 1:00:12Speaker 14: and let's remember especially the innocent children, the elderly, sick.
- 1:00:19Speaker 14: So many people who have already become or will become
- 1:00:22Speaker 14: victims of this continued warfare.
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: So that is Pope Leo. I was looking for the
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: clip of Trump outside the Oval office commenting on that,
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: and we may have it. If this is it, it's great.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: If not, then we'll have to move on. Let's see.
- 1:00:41Speaker 13: So we have the lowest murder rate, and.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: That's not it. Not murder rates. Come on, guys, and supports.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: You and your policies, creating you for defending industry.
- 1:00:55Speaker 13: Leopology. No, I don't, because Pope Leo said things that
- 1:00:59Speaker 13: are well. He was very much against what I'm doing
- 1:01:03Speaker 13: with regard to Iran, and you cannot have a nuclear
- 1:01:07Speaker 13: ran Popo Leo would not be happy with the end result.
- 1:01:10Speaker 13: You have hundreds of millions of people dead and it's
- 1:01:13Speaker 13: not going to happen. So I can't. I think he's
- 1:01:17Speaker 13: very weak on crime and other things.
- 1:01:19Speaker 9: So I'm not I.
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: Mean, he went public.
- 1:01:21Speaker 13: I'm just responding to pop Leo. And you know his
- 1:01:25Speaker 13: brother is a big maga person and he's a great guy, Lewis.
- 1:01:28Speaker 13: And I said, I like Lewis better than I could Pope.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: Now, yes, all right, So that was the clip I
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: was looking for President Trump again doubling down. That was
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: earlier today outside the White House at his door dash
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: impromptu press conference. And I think that's all the time
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: that I've got for this conversation tonight. But we will
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: continue because there is so much more to discuss. We've
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: got well, the Wall Street Journal reporting that all of
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: a sudden, there are a whole mess of ships oil
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: tankers that are headed to the United States. Here's the headline.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: US oil blockade is set to boost American exports and
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: prices at the pump. US crewed exports are poised to
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: hit a record this month as seventy super tankers approached
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: the Gulf to load up on oil. So the United
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: States is going to be selling a whole bunch of oil.
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: And you've got ships from all over the world making
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: their way to the United States for that express purpose.
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: And that sounds like a drill, baby, drill win where
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: I come from, right, I think that's a good thing.
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: A surge in exporting American oil, a record number of
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: international tankers flooding the US Gulf Coast, which is now
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: known as the Gulf of America. These are all wins
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: that right now some people might say, oh no, but
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: this is this No, listen, it's a win. We're selling oil,
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: We're making money, and I don't think that's the ultimate goal.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: I think that's the ultimate deterrent that Trump is using. Again.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: This is another brilliant tactician move from El Trumpito to
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: get people to realize the obvious that sometimes they can't
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: see the forest through the trees. This is why I
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: say you have to stand for something, because if you
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything. And the only
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good people
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: like you to sit there and do nothing. I start
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: approxima take care, good night, and God bless you America.
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: I'm rich Valdez and this is America.
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: This is America.
