- 1:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05Speaker 2: If you if you follow, if you haven't been under
- 1:08Speaker 2: the rock for the last fifteen months, you understand what
- 1:11Speaker 2: this is about. This is going to be legendary situation.
- 1:13Speaker 2: So around almost thirteen months ago. I believe we did it.
- 1:19Speaker 2: We did episode forty four of Earning Your Leisure with
- 1:23Speaker 2: Leon Howard.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Big Trap, the Biggest Trapper.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Vegas aka Wall Street Trapper aka Big Trap, your.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Coin. It's it's already going.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that episode just changed everything. Man. If it is
- 1:42Speaker 2: your first time ever watching your Leasion, you might not
- 1:45Speaker 2: be familiar with us or brother Wall Street Trapper. You
- 1:47Speaker 2: know that he just is a dynamic force that's literally
- 1:50Speaker 2: changing not only the culture but the world as far
- 1:52Speaker 2: as teaching stocks and teaching investing in a way that
- 1:56Speaker 2: I've never seen anybody actually be able to relate you know,
- 2:01Speaker 2: common you know language, street terms and break it down
- 2:06Speaker 2: into very sophisticated business and stocks and investing language. And
- 2:11Speaker 2: it started a whole movement and thousands, hundreds of thousands
- 2:14Speaker 2: of people that you know are loyal trappers worldwide.
- 2:19Speaker 4: The Trap you know a fact.
- 2:21Speaker 3: That's how original it is. Man.
- 2:23Speaker 5: I can't I haven't seen anybody even trying to duplicate it.
- 2:25Speaker 5: It's so unique to you, you know what I mean,
- 2:27Speaker 5: So kudos you for that, bro.
- 2:29Speaker 2: You know, when the Bro reached out and he was like,
- 2:31Speaker 2: you know, I think it's time man, for you know,
- 2:34Speaker 2: round two and reacts, man, listen, let's let's do it.
- 2:37Speaker 6: Man, let's break the internet again.
- 2:40Speaker 2: And but he was like, you know, this time, I
- 2:42Speaker 2: got a little different twist I want to put on it.
- 2:45Speaker 2: So I'm like, what's up, Like talk to me. So
- 2:47Speaker 2: he's like the first time, and if you haven't watched
- 2:49Speaker 2: episode forty four, you need to do that. You're doing
- 2:51Speaker 2: yourself with your minutes of service. But the first time,
- 2:53Speaker 2: he was like, you know, we just kind of we
- 2:55Speaker 2: talked about investing, We talked about stocks, we talked about
- 2:58Speaker 2: you know, a lot of different things, like much like
- 3:00Speaker 2: a one on one, but you know, where we're at
- 3:03Speaker 2: now is a pivotal moment, not only in just world
- 3:08Speaker 2: history but for our culture, Like this is this is
- 3:11Speaker 2: a pendulum shift where you can actually make some real
- 3:14Speaker 2: changes and change your generation for years to come. So
- 3:19Speaker 2: he was like, yo' it's bigger than just telling people
- 3:22Speaker 2: with stocks to invest in, Like, we got an opportunity
- 3:25Speaker 2: to actually change generations. So I'm like, what you're talking about.
- 3:27Speaker 2: He's like, yo, I want to do something where it's
- 3:30Speaker 2: like I'm laying out of blueprint for not only yourself,
- 3:34Speaker 2: for your family and your children and your children's children,
- 3:37Speaker 2: and that led to a series of conversations which led to,
- 3:42Speaker 2: you know, us actually collaborating and we're going to talk
- 3:45Speaker 2: about that.
- 3:47Speaker 6: But yeah, you know.
- 3:50Speaker 2: What, my man MG, the mortgage guy, always say, collaboration
- 3:53Speaker 2: is better than.
- 3:54Speaker 6: Competitions, you know what I'm saying. So we actually.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Actually even bigger than just the show, Like we put
- 4:01Speaker 2: together something just on our own, you know, as entrepreneurs
- 4:05Speaker 2: just coming together. That's just gonna, you know what I mean,
- 4:07Speaker 2: really change everything. But we definitely had to do a show.
- 4:10Speaker 2: I'm like, bro, we need to do a show like
- 4:11Speaker 2: to really like get his get his game out here, man.
- 4:14Speaker 2: So that's what we're here for right now. We're going
- 4:16Speaker 2: to give a billion dollars worth a game, one hundred
- 4:19Speaker 2: years worth, a game for investing for you know, how
- 4:23Speaker 2: to how to really get up on on investing, how
- 4:26Speaker 2: to change your future of your family, how to dissect businesses,
- 4:30Speaker 2: all that stuff. So strap your seat belts in first
- 4:34Speaker 2: and foremost, get your man, and most importantly, trapper attire
- 4:42Speaker 2: is required.
- 4:46Speaker 6: First and foremost. Man, welcome back, my brother man.
- 4:48Speaker 3: I'm glad to be back.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Man.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Shot my brothers Man, Troy shah Man. It's number love whole.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Aren't leisure family?
- 4:55Speaker 6: Man?
- 4:55Speaker 4: Just appreciate y'all letting me come back.
- 4:57Speaker 7: You know, any time we put something together, it seem
- 4:59Speaker 7: like we shift the culture every time, you know what
- 5:02Speaker 7: I'm saying. I know, we just did a live like
- 5:04Speaker 7: the other day, you know what I'm saying, And I
- 5:06Speaker 7: think that was great that live we did. That was impromptu,
- 5:09Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying. Ten thirty at night, we
- 5:11Speaker 7: got fifteen hundred people on a live and we just
- 5:14Speaker 7: having a conversation similar to we all what we always have.
- 5:19Speaker 7: It's crazy for that because we allowed it was like
- 5:21Speaker 7: us allowing people to hear a conversation that we always have,
- 5:26Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying. And I think that's just monumental, man,
- 5:28Speaker 7: every time we get to talk, you know. And I
- 5:31Speaker 7: think it's a great balance for people because for me,
- 5:34Speaker 7: I think I always say it's more of us than
- 5:37Speaker 7: it is them. And what I mean by that is
- 5:40Speaker 7: it's more people trying to figure it out, you know
- 5:43Speaker 7: what I'm saying. It's more people trying to understand how
- 5:45Speaker 7: can I get in a better situation? What do I
- 5:47Speaker 7: have to do to improve? Like I see people living
- 5:50Speaker 7: and I'm tired of struggling. It's way more to us
- 5:53Speaker 7: than it is the ones who figured it out. So
- 5:55Speaker 7: for me, I feel like I always got to be
- 5:57Speaker 7: in the trenches. I always got to be with the
- 5:59Speaker 7: people who trying to figure it out, even if I
- 6:01Speaker 7: got to do it one by one, you know what
- 6:03Speaker 7: I'm saying. So for them to hear that and for
- 6:05Speaker 7: me to be with you all, like I love this
- 6:07Speaker 7: platform because, like I told y'all the first time, man,
- 6:09Speaker 7: like y'all doing something amazing.
- 6:12Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, it's showing.
- 6:13Speaker 7: Thirteen months later, Man, we're almost four hundred thousand people
- 6:16Speaker 7: on the ground. With YouTube, y'all almost got a million people, bro,
- 6:21Speaker 7: man't account with people doing in audio. You know what
- 6:23Speaker 7: y'all doing with audio's I can easily see y'all touch
- 6:26Speaker 7: a million people every time y'all post something, bro. And
- 6:29Speaker 7: it's not on no you know, no laughing stuff, it's
- 6:32Speaker 7: not on no, you know, just nothing caring balls and nothing.
- 6:36Speaker 7: You know, nothing against that, bro. But it's straight. It's straight,
- 6:39Speaker 7: giving people what they need.
- 6:40Speaker 4: It's straight. I know.
- 6:41Speaker 7: I know it happens to me every time y'all see somebody.
- 6:44Speaker 7: I can guarantee this it ain't a date that y'all
- 6:46Speaker 7: leave out.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Y'all hood. Somebody tell y'all, bro y'all changing my life.
- 6:50Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 6:51Speaker 7: And for me that mean a lot because I know
- 6:54Speaker 7: what I injected to the culture in my past. So
- 6:56Speaker 7: for me to be able to now say I can
- 6:58Speaker 7: change your family with teaching them how to invest, teaching
- 7:01Speaker 7: them about financial literacy, teach them about the things I've learned,
- 7:05Speaker 7: and I can bring it to this to y'all platform.
- 7:08Speaker 4: And I think that's amazing. Man.
- 7:10Speaker 5: Yeah, this is one of the moments. Like I said,
- 7:12Speaker 5: the last time you came here was a classic. This
- 7:14Speaker 5: time around the scenery has changed a little bit, but
- 7:17Speaker 5: I feel like it was a story getting to know
- 7:18Speaker 5: who Wall Street Trapper was and then you gave out knowledge.
- 7:21Speaker 5: And I think the reup now is like here, come
- 7:23Speaker 5: to execution. Now we're gonna put you on play to
- 7:26Speaker 5: really bridge the gap on like what you need to
- 7:29Speaker 5: do now that you've got.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Before we start. I thank you also because we just
- 7:33Speaker 2: came from Dykman. You was with us, traps with us
- 7:36Speaker 2: this whole weekend. We was working out together, we was
- 7:38Speaker 2: doing everything together, and you know, we had an amazing,
- 7:41Speaker 2: amazing community give back over four hundred turkeys, was giving
- 7:44Speaker 2: away ten thousand dollars in cash, gift cards, was giving
- 7:49Speaker 2: away TV trip to Disneyland, iPad.
- 7:53Speaker 6: It was just so much stuff, man.
- 7:54Speaker 2: So shout out to thykmen, basket Pete, and shout out
- 8:01Speaker 2: to MG the mortgage guy. Shout out to Jamal, Shout
- 8:03Speaker 2: out my sister, Shout out to everybody.
- 8:05Speaker 6: Just came to Dye and you was a dead man
- 8:09Speaker 6: and the people came.
- 8:13Speaker 8: Yo. They passed me, They like, YO, excuse me?
- 8:16Speaker 4: Is that New York showed me love?
- 8:21Speaker 9: Man?
- 8:21Speaker 7: Like when I look at my analytics, like New York
- 8:24Speaker 7: is the number one, And I know.
- 8:26Speaker 3: It's two things too.
- 8:27Speaker 4: You know. Of course I'm putting in work, but I
- 8:29Speaker 4: know I rock with y'all so hard.
- 8:32Speaker 7: Y'all always it's literally not a podcast or alive that
- 8:37Speaker 7: I've seen you all do.
- 8:38Speaker 4: What y'all don't say. Shout my bro Wall Street trap
- 8:41Speaker 4: I've seen.
- 8:41Speaker 7: Y'all go on revault and I saw Troy say one
- 8:44Speaker 7: thing my brother Wall Street Trapp will always say. So
- 8:46Speaker 7: I think you know that I feel like New York
- 8:48Speaker 7: is like another home, you know, because when I come
- 8:51Speaker 7: here with y'all. So for me to be a month's dad,
- 8:53Speaker 7: it's like, damn, like they rock with me in New
- 8:56Speaker 7: York too, you know what I'm saying, Like they're showing
- 8:58Speaker 7: me love, like people telling me like go eat here, trap,
- 9:01Speaker 7: go eat there, and you know, so that was just
- 9:03Speaker 7: love for me. And also this time around, I felt
- 9:06Speaker 7: more comfortable here and just being in that whole area,
- 9:09Speaker 7: that whole Dykeman area.
- 9:11Speaker 4: I'm not gonna lie.
- 9:11Speaker 7: I just always looking around and I was seeing people
- 9:14Speaker 7: and I was like, bro, Like in my mind, I
- 9:16Speaker 7: just kept saying, we got a lot more work to do.
- 9:19Speaker 7: I kept saying that. I'm like Troy, we got a
- 9:21Speaker 7: lot more work to do. Shot, we got a lot
- 9:23Speaker 7: more work to do. Because I'm seeing it, you know
- 9:25Speaker 7: what I'm saying. And I'm seeing myself again. You know
- 9:28Speaker 7: what I'm saying. I'm seeing me moving forward in progress,
- 9:30Speaker 7: and I'm seeing why I can't do certain things because
- 9:33Speaker 7: I got to go back here. The language in the
- 9:35Speaker 7: hood is the same everywhere. The slangs just changed, but
- 9:39Speaker 7: the language and the thread that's in every hood is
- 9:41Speaker 7: the same. Struggle trying to figure it out, keep bumping
- 9:43Speaker 7: my head against the wall. You know what, I'm saying
- 9:45Speaker 7: so for me is all right, let me show them.
- 9:47Speaker 7: I know you want to eat today, but let me
- 9:49Speaker 7: show you how to.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Put a meal on the table for generations.
- 9:52Speaker 10: Man.
- 9:53Speaker 6: That's the fact, man.
- 9:54Speaker 2: And that's a perfect segue because, like Choy said, the
- 9:57Speaker 2: first time was like the beginning, like execution.
- 10:02Speaker 6: So let's jump right into it.
- 10:03Speaker 2: As far as the investment, you the Wall Street trapper,
- 10:06Speaker 2: So obviously stock market is your game. So anybody that's
- 10:10Speaker 2: been investing, I feel like a lot of people came
- 10:11Speaker 2: into stocks around this pandemic, and it's been a flush
- 10:16Speaker 2: of new investors that started to come into the marketplace
- 10:20Speaker 2: and now they're actually being educated on stock market. They're
- 10:23Speaker 2: watching trapping Tuesdays, they're watching market Mondays, shout out to
- 10:26Speaker 2: the end to end.
- 10:27Speaker 6: So let me ask you this.
- 10:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:30Speaker 2: One of the things even I struggle with sometimes is
- 10:32Speaker 2: like how do you know when it's selling stock? Because everybody,
- 10:35Speaker 2: a lot of people tell you like this is a
- 10:37Speaker 2: good time to buy the stock, right Like obviously, like
- 10:39Speaker 2: if it's twenty percent off of it's high, then you
- 10:42Speaker 2: can use that metrics, or if it's you know, it's
- 10:44Speaker 2: it's different strategies of how to know when to buy
- 10:46Speaker 2: a stock. But there's not really too many metrics or
- 10:50Speaker 2: strategies that I've seen. It's know when it's selling stock.
- 10:53Speaker 2: So how do you what's your thoughts on that?
- 10:55Speaker 7: So I have a few ways in which I deal
- 10:58Speaker 7: with selling the stock right. So one of the is
- 11:00Speaker 7: I ask before I even buy a stock first, I want,
- 11:03Speaker 7: you know, put a valuation on it, like.
- 11:05Speaker 4: What I think the company is worth.
- 11:07Speaker 7: So before you get doing anything, you got to put
- 11:09Speaker 7: a price tag on it, after you research the business,
- 11:12Speaker 7: after you understand what it's worth. Because if you don't
- 11:14Speaker 7: know what it's worth, you don't know when to sell,
- 11:16Speaker 7: you don't know when to buy. So you got to
- 11:18Speaker 7: put that price tag on it. And that only comes
- 11:20Speaker 7: from doing the fundamental research right, understand the business. And
- 11:23Speaker 7: so one of the things I like to tell myself
- 11:25Speaker 7: is simple, once it gets to one hundred percent for me,
- 11:29Speaker 7: now it's time for me to think about do I
- 11:32Speaker 7: have another business?
- 11:33Speaker 3: Because I don't want to just.
- 11:34Speaker 6: Say hundred profit.
- 11:35Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't want to just sell and have the
- 11:39Speaker 7: money sitting in my account. I think that's what most
- 11:42Speaker 7: people do. Like, so you got to put a tag
- 11:44Speaker 7: on it and then put a life expectancy on it,
- 11:46Speaker 7: like what do I expect it to do in this timeframe?
- 11:50Speaker 7: And is it up a certain percentage in this time frame?
- 11:53Speaker 7: So for me, the goal is already buy and hold
- 11:56Speaker 7: five years, ten years, twenty years, like you have to
- 12:00Speaker 7: have a life expectancy of it, how you wanted to perform.
- 12:03Speaker 7: And then I'm asking myself, well, in this time if
- 12:05Speaker 7: I'm up one hundred percent or more, if i have
- 12:07Speaker 7: another stock that I'm willing to invest in. That's why
- 12:11Speaker 7: we should always be looking for new businesses. That's why
- 12:14Speaker 7: I tell people all the time, like I don't care
- 12:16Speaker 7: what's going on every day, I'm researching new businesses because
- 12:19Speaker 7: the world gonna keep on solving problems. That's what businesses are, man,
- 12:22Speaker 7: They solve problems, you know what I'm saying.
- 12:24Speaker 4: So the world always is presented with a problem.
- 12:26Speaker 7: Somebody's always going to try to do something better, like
- 12:28Speaker 7: Amazon drop whatever they drop, Boom, Snowflake.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Coming with They say I could do it better than Amazon,
- 12:32Speaker 4: you feel what I'm saying.
- 12:33Speaker 7: So now they're saying, Okay, let me find different businesses
- 12:36Speaker 7: that are solving different problems or doing things better than
- 12:39Speaker 7: other businesses. Even Jeff Beezo said that he said, there's
- 12:41Speaker 7: going to be a time where some business is gonna
- 12:43Speaker 7: come and do better than what I'm doing at what
- 12:46Speaker 7: I'm doing, which is why he keeps on spreading a
- 12:49Speaker 7: business out. So what I like to do is again
- 12:51Speaker 7: put the light time span on it, whether it's a
- 12:54Speaker 7: five year, three year, two year, one year.
- 12:55Speaker 4: Whatever that case may be.
- 12:57Speaker 7: If I'm up one hundred percent or more and I
- 12:59Speaker 7: found I'm another business that I like, I can take
- 13:02Speaker 7: those profits and then put it in another piode.
- 13:04Speaker 5: So when you get to one hundred percent, right, are
- 13:07Speaker 5: you saying, like, are you taking a portion of the
- 13:09Speaker 5: shares or you completely leaving the position?
- 13:12Speaker 4: Nah?
- 13:12Speaker 7: So I want to stay in a position, right because
- 13:15Speaker 7: if it's up one hundred percent, to me, that I
- 13:17Speaker 7: mean it's still performing well. Like if the fundamentals are increasing,
- 13:21Speaker 7: management is doing a great job.
- 13:22Speaker 4: That's cool.
- 13:23Speaker 7: I don't want to exit that position, right, So I
- 13:25Speaker 7: can take some of those profits, which means selling some
- 13:27Speaker 7: of those shares when people don't know, like, because I
- 13:29Speaker 7: heard people ask me that, like, if I take profit,
- 13:31Speaker 7: does that mean I'm selling some of the shares? Of
- 13:33Speaker 7: course you are. You know what I'm saying so you'll
- 13:35Speaker 7: sell some of those shares and you will put it
- 13:37Speaker 7: in a new business and now you can start another
- 13:40Speaker 7: position with those profits, which is ideal.
- 13:43Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 13:45Speaker 7: Another way for me to sell is if the business
- 13:48Speaker 7: is not performing well, you know what I'm saying. So
- 13:50Speaker 7: if I did the research on it, if I evaluated
- 13:52Speaker 7: a business, and also in evaluating a business, when you
- 13:54Speaker 7: put it life expectancy on it or time span that
- 13:57Speaker 7: you want to do it you being intentional, right, and
- 13:59Speaker 7: so you ask, so what is the growth rate of
- 14:01Speaker 7: this business?
- 14:02Speaker 6: So how would you call?
- 14:03Speaker 2: Because this is something that even today in Thankmen, somebody
- 14:05Speaker 2: came up to me and he was like, you know,
- 14:07Speaker 2: I know I should invest in good companies, but how
- 14:09Speaker 2: do I know? How do I find? How do I
- 14:11Speaker 2: even find a good company? Like do you have to
- 14:13Speaker 2: like read newspapers?
- 14:16Speaker 6: Like how do you like? What's your process? Actually?
- 14:18Speaker 1: Know?
- 14:18Speaker 6: Okay? Like you said, you gotta constantly find new businesses? Right?
- 14:20Speaker 6: How do you constantly find new business?
- 14:22Speaker 7: So an easy way for me, I still use the
- 14:23Speaker 7: method like I did in prison. Man, I just look
- 14:26Speaker 7: at all them ticker symbols that's going down the bottom
- 14:28Speaker 7: of CNBC, Like that's putting it on training wheels. That's
- 14:31Speaker 7: without you happen to even do anything, or like you
- 14:33Speaker 7: get on CNBC shout out to the trap was because
- 14:36Speaker 7: I told them missing they do it now, Like you
- 14:38Speaker 7: get on CNBC and there's a bunch of ticker symbols
- 14:40Speaker 7: running across the bottom, ones that you don't know about
- 14:43Speaker 7: that like, now what is that? Write it down? Like,
- 14:46Speaker 7: don't be scared to do that. Another thing is also
- 14:49Speaker 7: I just look at what's going on everything. I'm buying everything.
- 14:51Speaker 7: I'm looking at it saying who made this?
- 14:54Speaker 4: What this is? Who produced this? Who did that?
- 14:56Speaker 7: You know, if I'm looking at tech, I won't see
- 14:58Speaker 7: like what tech been. Like the other day I found
- 15:00Speaker 7: out that a business the ticket symbol was rby L.
- 15:05Speaker 7: I was like, oh, this is the people who make
- 15:06Speaker 7: light saw, Like I didn't know who made it. But
- 15:08Speaker 7: as I'm reading the papers, I saw that light saw
- 15:11Speaker 7: sales had increased by seventy percent. The first thing I
- 15:13Speaker 7: want to know is.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Who make that right? Who make that?
- 15:17Speaker 7: Who make light saf right? And I'm gonna find out
- 15:19Speaker 7: if it's public as private right. So I think that's
- 15:21Speaker 7: the easy part in finding businesses. And then what happens
- 15:24Speaker 7: is when you're looking at one business, it's always going
- 15:27Speaker 7: to shoot you to another business. It's always going to
- 15:29Speaker 7: shoot you to its competitor. Like so that's for me.
- 15:32Speaker 7: I always do that what this business is doing, I
- 15:35Speaker 7: want compare it to something. So now I'm gonna look
- 15:37Speaker 7: up such and such peers, So I know the competitor.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Light saw, it's Clorox. You know what I'm saying.
- 15:42Speaker 7: So that's easy, that's like, it's it's not hard because
- 15:46Speaker 7: sixty percent of the businesses in America on a stock money.
- 15:49Speaker 5: So now that part of your fundamentals is that's the
- 15:52Speaker 5: first step, right looking for peers. What else are we
- 15:54Speaker 5: doing to make sure that this is a good company
- 15:55Speaker 5: are we looking at? I know one of the things
- 15:58Speaker 5: you love is not debt, but what it's all the
- 16:00Speaker 5: things that we looking at when we're trying to figure
- 16:01Speaker 5: out yep, this is a good company.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Motes, oh Motes.
- 16:05Speaker 5: Can I tell you when you said that last song?
- 16:06Speaker 5: I always heard when you talk about most of that.
- 16:08Speaker 5: I mean, we're big Game of Thrones fans, so when
- 16:10Speaker 5: we it makes me thinking like when they was at
- 16:12Speaker 5: Castle Black and it was like, yo, they can't get
- 16:14Speaker 5: into the.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Castle because the war is always around and so.
- 16:16Speaker 7: Like I'm like, oh, that's how I think about motes.
- 16:18Speaker 7: When you said it's exactly what can you talk about most?
- 16:21Speaker 7: So a mote is what protects a company from its competitors, right,
- 16:25Speaker 7: And so there's there's different kinds of most. And that's
- 16:28Speaker 7: another thing for me too. When I'm looking at a business.
- 16:30Speaker 7: I actually told the guy it's at Dykeman today.
- 16:33Speaker 3: I was.
- 16:33Speaker 7: He explained to me about a business he was looking
- 16:35Speaker 7: at and he was like, they got a moat And
- 16:36Speaker 7: I was like, so, what's the moat? And he was like, well,
- 16:38Speaker 7: they're the only person doing this in they feel And
- 16:41Speaker 7: I said, ask yourself this question.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Are they the only business that's.
- 16:45Speaker 7: Doing it because they have an advantage like they can
- 16:48Speaker 7: they have a patent on it?
- 16:50Speaker 4: Or did management find a way to what they it will.
- 16:54Speaker 7: Cost another business too much money to try to replicate that,
- 16:58Speaker 7: or just can are they just the first ones to
- 17:00Speaker 7: do it and then anybody else can come back and
- 17:02Speaker 7: do it. If that's the case, it's not a mote,
- 17:04Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying. If I can speed rap
- 17:06Speaker 7: and then if Rashad if Troy studied me for three
- 17:09Speaker 7: weeks and then he learned how to speed rap.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Then he can he can challenge me. Now you feel
- 17:13Speaker 4: what I'm saying.
- 17:14Speaker 7: But if I can speed rap in a way that
- 17:17Speaker 7: he can't get it, I now have.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Set myself apart.
- 17:20Speaker 7: Right, So a mote, there's different motes that businesses can have.
- 17:24Speaker 7: What is so a mote is what protects a business
- 17:27Speaker 7: from its competitors. Right, It's some type of product or
- 17:30Speaker 7: service that this business has that their competitors cannot do.
- 17:35Speaker 7: And they cannot do it for multiple reasons. One, it'll
- 17:39Speaker 7: cost them too much money to do it right, So
- 17:42Speaker 7: it's gonna cost you too much money to replicate.
- 17:43Speaker 4: This Chipotle chapote you feel. I mean.
- 17:48Speaker 7: So they have this amazing moat where they build relationships.
- 17:56Speaker 4: Anywhere that they build a store.
- 17:57Speaker 7: Rap, they find local farm within one hundred mile radius
- 18:03Speaker 7: and they partner with them in anything that the farmers need.
- 18:08Speaker 7: They're willing to help them for two reasons. One to
- 18:12Speaker 7: make sure the crops are great, and two to solidify
- 18:16Speaker 7: themselves as the plug. So you grow fresh crops. I'm
- 18:20Speaker 7: a bond from you. But here's what you need and
- 18:23Speaker 7: if you need help with end of it this, I'm
- 18:25Speaker 7: gonna help you.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Right.
- 18:27Speaker 7: So now what that does is it allows them now
- 18:30Speaker 7: for their competitors to come beat them. You gotta double
- 18:33Speaker 7: my price, so now it's going to cut into your profit,
- 18:39Speaker 7: which now gets into low operational costs. The cost that
- 18:42Speaker 7: it cost is the business to operate. You feel what
- 18:44Speaker 7: I'm saying. So because Chapote they have done that. Now,
- 18:48Speaker 7: the second mold to that is every day they give
- 18:52Speaker 7: you fresh ingredients because they've partnered with all the local
- 18:56Speaker 7: farmers around that business. Right, so every day now they've
- 19:00Speaker 7: guaranteed to give you fresh vegetables that is extremely hard
- 19:04Speaker 7: to replicate. It's gonna cost you too much money to
- 19:09Speaker 7: replicate this, so at this point it's not even worth it.
- 19:12Speaker 5: So from what I'm hearing, it's like, yo, if I
- 19:14Speaker 5: wanted to make the burrito, right, if I don't have
- 19:17Speaker 5: that mode, it's gonna cost me like sixteen dollars, where
- 19:19Speaker 5: it's gonna cast Chipotle like.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Seven dollars something like that.
- 19:22Speaker 7: So in that sense, and then pricing is a type
- 19:25Speaker 7: of mote. It's called a pricing mode, all right, So
- 19:26Speaker 7: there's other types of motes. There's another another mode that
- 19:29Speaker 7: I really love is called a switching mote. So a
- 19:36Speaker 7: switching mode is so how hot. So example, let's think
- 19:42Speaker 7: about this business called let's just think about Apple.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Let's just keep it simple. So most people who.
- 19:48Speaker 7: Have iPhones, they also have MacBook pros, or they'll have
- 19:53Speaker 7: an Apple Watch, or they're in that Apple ecosystem. Right,
- 19:59Speaker 7: the chances of me he's switching from Apple to Android
- 20:03Speaker 7: or any other type of phone, it's slimming none. Because
- 20:07Speaker 7: now I gotta switch all my information off the Apple
- 20:11Speaker 7: cloud to somebody else's cloud. That's a switching mode. Or
- 20:15Speaker 7: in business, a lot of businesses will do this. So
- 20:19Speaker 7: let's say cybersecurity. Right, So let's say a business has
- 20:24Speaker 7: all of their I'm using this cyber security business to
- 20:28Speaker 7: protect all of my brands. It's extremely hard for me
- 20:32Speaker 7: to switch from this cybersecurity company to another cyber security
- 20:36Speaker 7: company because all of my information is stored here. It
- 20:40Speaker 7: becomes now, it becomes a hassle, whereas I can just
- 20:43Speaker 7: work let's work this out to see what the problem
- 20:46Speaker 7: is and fix it. So switching modes are extremely great
- 20:50Speaker 7: because nobody likes to switch.
- 20:52Speaker 4: People love conveniences. Businesses are the same way.
- 20:56Speaker 7: I don't have to go through all Now I gotta
- 20:57Speaker 7: shut business down, I gotta lose money, or I gotta
- 21:01Speaker 7: be I gotta open my business now becomes vulnerable to
- 21:05Speaker 7: something like cybersecurity is serious, which is why I love cybersecurity.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Right.
- 21:09Speaker 7: So any brand that it becomes a hassle for another brand,
- 21:12Speaker 7: for the business, for its customers of service to leave
- 21:15Speaker 7: that brand to go to another brand, that's a switching mode.
- 21:18Speaker 2: So let me ask you this as far as like
- 21:21Speaker 2: another thing that we haven't spoken about before. You're real
- 21:23Speaker 2: big on like people hear like growth stocks, right, and
- 21:28Speaker 2: but what does that mean? Like what is a growth stock?
- 21:30Speaker 2: Because for an average person, they're thinking like, I'm only
- 21:34Speaker 2: buying the stock, so you grow think like I'm not
- 21:39Speaker 2: buying a non growth stock or a dead stagnant stock.
- 21:44Speaker 6: So what's a growth stock?
- 21:46Speaker 3: All right?
- 21:46Speaker 4: So this is this is dope.
- 21:48Speaker 7: Like, So a while back, what I did was I
- 21:51Speaker 7: had broke down stocks the way I break them down.
- 21:53Speaker 7: So I put stocks in three different situations. Right is
- 21:59Speaker 7: young bucks, og, gangsters, and ogs. Right, So it's three
- 22:06Speaker 7: different categories. So young bucks I used in comparison, I
- 22:10Speaker 7: use somebody like little Baby, right, So somebody who he
- 22:15Speaker 7: has a huge upside the potential. He just started his career, right,
- 22:18Speaker 7: so his upside is extremely good. Right, But what comes
- 22:23Speaker 7: with that, Because he's young, he's still liable to get
- 22:26Speaker 7: make some mistakes along the way that may jeopardize his career. Right,
- 22:30Speaker 7: but the upside is amazing, Like you see it. You
- 22:35Speaker 7: see he's a star.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Right.
- 22:37Speaker 7: That's a growth stock, right, that's somebody with a lot
- 22:40Speaker 7: of potential. And what happens is growth stocks tend to
- 22:44Speaker 7: outperform the market for numerous amount of years. But the
- 22:48Speaker 7: thing about them is they are extremely volatile because the
- 22:53Speaker 7: company will make mistakes and a lot of times they
- 22:57Speaker 7: aren't necessarily profitable in the beginning.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Right.
- 23:01Speaker 7: So now what happens is the company you gotta ask
- 23:05Speaker 7: yourself risk tolerance comes into play, like can I deal
- 23:10Speaker 7: with the downsides of this relationship with this stock?
- 23:15Speaker 6: Right?
- 23:15Speaker 4: And so then we have your gangsters.
- 23:18Speaker 7: Right, So your gangsters is somebody who probably who've been
- 23:21Speaker 7: around for a minute. They're a little more mature, right,
- 23:24Speaker 7: been in but they'll still they'll still you'll see them
- 23:28Speaker 7: in the news if something pop off, you know what
- 23:30Speaker 7: I'm saying, Like something can happen, right, And then you
- 23:33Speaker 7: have your ogs.
- 23:35Speaker 3: And that's like your.
- 23:35Speaker 7: Johnson and Johnson's they've been around for you know, they consistent.
- 23:39Speaker 6: Then going nowhere they.
- 23:41Speaker 7: Hear so like somebody like Netflix will kind of be
- 23:43Speaker 7: like a gangster.
- 23:44Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 23:44Speaker 7: They still kind of volatile, but you still see the upside.
- 23:48Speaker 7: They still have growth in them. But any given day
- 23:51Speaker 7: you can get up and they down two you know
- 23:53Speaker 7: what I'm saying. Whereas a growth start, you get up
- 23:55Speaker 7: to date, it's up, tomorrow's down ten percent.
- 23:57Speaker 4: You're like, god, damn, you know what I'm saying. What
- 24:00Speaker 4: happened right here? Oh? Yeah, you know they shot a
- 24:01Speaker 4: club up like you know, like on TMZ right now.
- 24:08Speaker 3: So what so that's a grosso What about a value stock?
- 24:10Speaker 7: So a value stock will lot fall under like your
- 24:13Speaker 7: OG stocks, right, somebody like Calipillar, somebody like Johnson and Johnson,
- 24:18Speaker 7: walg Yeah it's OG so but it has a ton
- 24:22Speaker 7: of value, right, The value is there. But also value
- 24:24Speaker 7: stocks tend to not have growth and they're trading less
- 24:28Speaker 7: than what the market says they should be trading at,
- 24:31Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying, So then it will be
- 24:32Speaker 7: an undervalue stock. But value stocks are stocks that have
- 24:35Speaker 7: consistently performed well, provided value to the marketplace, and we
- 24:39Speaker 7: just know what they're about. You know what I'm saying,
- 24:41Speaker 7: And so it make it easy so people don't get
- 24:43Speaker 7: lost in the sauce.
- 24:44Speaker 3: And confuse them.
- 24:45Speaker 7: Think about your ogs, like think about stocks that have
- 24:47Speaker 7: been around since you was a kid.
- 24:49Speaker 2: So so like so, like a growth stock is something
- 24:52Speaker 2: that has tremendous upside, but it's also extremely Like a
- 24:57Speaker 2: young rapper that's just getting money for the first time.
- 24:59Speaker 4: Yeah, he gonna he gonna mess up something.
- 25:01Speaker 2: And then what's the second one? The gangster that's just
- 25:05Speaker 2: like you've been around long enough when you know the ropes,
- 25:09Speaker 2: but you still like you.
- 25:10Speaker 4: Still can make a mistake.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Like a French Montana French he safe man, I would say,
- 25:18Speaker 2: I was, I was, So you.
- 25:21Speaker 7: Get so now you got to ask yourself, like, so
- 25:23Speaker 7: Jez would you could consider Jesus So he would be
- 25:26Speaker 7: like in the middle of you know, and I do
- 25:28Speaker 7: won't really get into this cause like.
- 25:31Speaker 8: You said that, yeah.
- 25:33Speaker 7: But like so for me, like I would look at
- 25:35Speaker 7: somebody like when I made the post, that's what it
- 25:37Speaker 7: was like, somebody.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Like a fab or Jez.
- 25:40Speaker 7: For me, that's like yeah, and then so Jay z
- 25:42Speaker 7: is he not even get a parking ticket. And now
- 25:45Speaker 7: at this point, like you know, his career like like
- 25:47Speaker 7: a fat Joel, a jezn.
- 25:51Speaker 4: That's your ogs, like they solid, they strong.
- 25:54Speaker 7: You know, if they dropped something, you're gonna cop that
- 25:56Speaker 7: on the strength because like you you remember, it's gonna
- 25:59Speaker 7: take you back, you know what I'm saying.
- 26:00Speaker 4: And so the gangsters would be.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Like your gezy, you fast. You know what I'm saying,
- 26:05Speaker 3: your kiss.
- 26:08Speaker 5: So we got Ogi's we got and got young. Where
- 26:12Speaker 5: you putting Tesla in that?
- 26:14Speaker 4: Oh man?
- 26:15Speaker 7: So for me, honestly, it's a young buck because even
- 26:19Speaker 7: though they've been around, the now become established and they're
- 26:22Speaker 7: extremely volatile, right and they like eli running it like
- 26:26Speaker 7: sugar night.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Man.
- 26:27Speaker 7: I do what I want. I say what I want. Man,
- 26:29Speaker 7: I don't care if you don't like it or not.
- 26:30Speaker 7: I don't even care the shall holders like what I
- 26:32Speaker 7: say or not. Look, this is we're doing the Probably
- 26:34Speaker 7: the stock too high. Next day that the stock go down,
- 26:36Speaker 7: you make up like yo, I was up eight percent,
- 26:39Speaker 7: I woke up two hundred.
- 26:41Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 26:41Speaker 7: So Tesla is definitely a young buck, you know what
- 26:43Speaker 7: I'm saying, but it's one of those young bucks like
- 26:46Speaker 7: little baby, Like every time I drop it's.
- 26:48Speaker 4: A banger, you know what I'm saying?
- 26:52Speaker 6: What about what about? All right?
- 26:54Speaker 2: So, like what's an example of like a good growth
- 26:56Speaker 2: stock out there right now?
- 26:58Speaker 6: In your opinion?
- 27:01Speaker 7: Tesla was one where we talked about that already. Right,
- 27:04Speaker 7: I'm gonna be real.
- 27:06Speaker 6: I like beyond me, beyond me, like beyond me? Like
- 27:09Speaker 6: why you like beyond me?
- 27:10Speaker 4: So?
- 27:11Speaker 7: Because you so? One of the things it's good to
- 27:13Speaker 7: look at is actually where where where the world is heading?
- 27:19Speaker 4: Right? So we and even though beyond me isn't a.
- 27:23Speaker 7: Healthy move, Like, let's just be real, a lot of
- 27:26Speaker 7: people don't care about their hell, bro when.
- 27:29Speaker 2: You say it's not healthy because it's process.
- 27:32Speaker 7: But for somebody who is saying will be like, nah,
- 27:37Speaker 7: I'm not doing that, you know what I'm saying. But
- 27:38Speaker 7: somebody who like, yo, I'm trying to eat better. I
- 27:41Speaker 7: don't want eat meat no more. The first thing they're
- 27:43Speaker 7: gonna do beyond me, you know what I'm saying. And
- 27:47Speaker 7: then when you look at market share, like it's in
- 27:51Speaker 7: the fast food industry, it's partnering with fast foods, it's
- 27:55Speaker 7: partnering with your Trader Jeels. It's partnering with you know, overseas,
- 28:00Speaker 7: it's partnering with your dunkin Donuts, you know what I'm saying.
- 28:02Speaker 7: So like he moving like he out there he is,
- 28:06Speaker 7: Like it's like mix tape wheezy. Like I mean, I'm
- 28:09Speaker 7: everywhere you go. I'm there, I'm dropping a mixtape here
- 28:13Speaker 7: like that. I'm dripping a mixtape there.
- 28:14Speaker 4: I like that.
- 28:15Speaker 8: You know what I mean.
- 28:16Speaker 7: It's mixtaate wheezy. You know what I'm saying, Like I'm
- 28:19Speaker 7: putting it on my back. I'm gonna lead the way,
- 28:21Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying. And so you know, other
- 28:23Speaker 7: people gonna come, but I'm out here. But at the
- 28:26Speaker 7: same time, the minute somebody like McDonald's said, I was
- 28:30Speaker 7: just I was I was going.
- 28:31Speaker 3: The minute somebody like mcdonald' say.
- 28:32Speaker 4: No, I ain't. Ain't I'm not bumping that over here.
- 28:35Speaker 3: We don't. We don't.
- 28:36Speaker 5: And that's crazy that you said because in my mom
- 28:38Speaker 5: I'm thinking, like I'm happy you said beyond me because
- 28:40Speaker 5: I was invested in beyond me.
- 28:41Speaker 3: But when you hear somebody like McDonald's obviously.
- 28:44Speaker 5: A big real estate player, obviously McDonald's when they said
- 28:46Speaker 5: we don't need the middle man. We're not partnering with
- 28:48Speaker 5: like an impossible like Berry King did. What do you
- 28:50Speaker 5: think it does to the business of beyond me?
- 28:53Speaker 7: So what I love about them was this again your
- 28:56Speaker 7: mix taate wheezy. Right, it's a good song, but I'm
- 29:00Speaker 7: better on the hook. I'm better in it. So when
- 29:03Speaker 7: McDonald said that, what they said, hold up, don't forget
- 29:07Speaker 7: who you came to for that verse. Don't forget who
- 29:11Speaker 7: you came to. And so McDonald said, Okay, you're right.
- 29:14Speaker 7: We did partner with them and making the mech veggie
- 29:20Speaker 7: or whatever the mech plant like we did.
- 29:22Speaker 4: We did go to beyond me and get the formula.
- 29:25Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 29:26Speaker 7: So again I'm leading the industry like this me so
- 29:30Speaker 7: that to me, that's a great growth stock.
- 29:34Speaker 4: I'm not telling people to buy it here because I
- 29:36Speaker 4: got it at like sixty six dollars.
- 29:38Speaker 6: It's just an example.
- 29:40Speaker 7: It's just an example of the nature of a growth.
- 29:42Speaker 7: Like you can get up any given day and beyond
- 29:44Speaker 7: me to be down ten percent.
- 29:46Speaker 3: You're not.
- 29:47Speaker 4: But you can also get up any given day and
- 29:48Speaker 4: it run for three weeks straight.
- 29:51Speaker 8: You know what I'm saying.
- 29:53Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying, Like, so that's the that's
- 29:55Speaker 7: the example of that's a young buck, that's a growth stop.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Let me ask you this for common peo that might be,
- 30:01Speaker 2: you know, struggling just to just to have enough money
- 30:04Speaker 2: to pay bills, right, what would be your suggestion to
- 30:07Speaker 2: kind of what's a good starter way for them to
- 30:10Speaker 2: actually start investing?
- 30:13Speaker 6: Like what's your opinion?
- 30:14Speaker 2: Because I know, like you know what I'm saying, a
- 30:16Speaker 2: lot of times people might that might be a hurdle
- 30:18Speaker 2: for them to be like, well, I don't really have
- 30:20Speaker 2: enough discretionary income to put money into the stock market.
- 30:24Speaker 6: What's your what's your what's your thoughts for them?
- 30:26Speaker 7: So let me make sure I understand what you're saying, right,
- 30:28Speaker 7: Like you're saying they don't have enough money to invest,
- 30:31Speaker 7: how should they start?
- 30:32Speaker 2: I'm gonna make sure I can answer it right no,
- 30:34Speaker 2: like as far as like if they if they're struggling
- 30:36Speaker 2: to invest, Like, what's some like what would be like
- 30:40Speaker 2: because for me, I'm looking at like even like an
- 30:42Speaker 2: HSA right where people a lot of times might not
- 30:45Speaker 2: be familiar with that, Like that's the way to actually
- 30:47Speaker 2: start investing via your health insurance. It's like a backdoor
- 30:50Speaker 2: investment way. People don't know what h HSA is. It's
- 30:53Speaker 2: a health savings account and break that down. Yeah, so
- 30:56Speaker 2: like the health savings account is so like you have
- 30:57Speaker 2: like a high deductible health plan, right, which is like
- 31:00Speaker 2: very propulable young Like I have a high deductible health plan.
- 31:03Speaker 2: And it's like usually when you don't go to the
- 31:05Speaker 2: doctor a lot, your premium, Like why would you pay
- 31:09Speaker 2: for the regular health plan like an HMO or PPO
- 31:12Speaker 2: when you can get a high deductible health plan. But
- 31:14Speaker 2: the thing with the high deductible health plan is that
- 31:16Speaker 2: it's a higher deductible, right, So it's like let's say
- 31:19Speaker 2: you got the PPO, the premium might be like, let's
- 31:23Speaker 2: say four hundred dollars a month, but with the high
- 31:26Speaker 2: deductible plan, it's two hundred dollars a month. But your
- 31:30Speaker 2: deductible is a lot higher. Deductible might be two times
- 31:34Speaker 2: higher than the PPO. So if you if you go
- 31:37Speaker 2: too many times you get caught out there, you got
- 31:39Speaker 2: to pay more money out of pocket.
- 31:41Speaker 6: So it's a calculated risk.
- 31:43Speaker 2: But a lot of young The reason why I mentioned
- 31:45Speaker 2: is that a lot of young people and a lot
- 31:47Speaker 2: of people with every dollar's count. They might either they
- 31:50Speaker 2: don't go to the doctor that much, or they're just
- 31:52Speaker 2: making financial decisions where it's like, you know what, I
- 31:55Speaker 2: really can't afford the PPO, so I'm gonna do the
- 31:57Speaker 2: high deductible or whatever. So one of the good things
- 32:01Speaker 2: with the high deductible plan is that allows you with
- 32:03Speaker 2: the health savings account. So with the Health Savings Account,
- 32:06Speaker 2: it's pretty much like a savings that you're putting money
- 32:10Speaker 2: into to pay for that deductible or any out of
- 32:13Speaker 2: pocket expenses that you may have. Right, But the good
- 32:16Speaker 2: thing is that the money comes up out of your
- 32:18Speaker 2: paycheck before you actually get paid. It's like the four
- 32:20Speaker 2: one K Okay, you know what I'm saying. So it
- 32:23Speaker 2: actually lowers your taxable income because it's the thing with
- 32:26Speaker 2: the four to one K is that when you put
- 32:28Speaker 2: money into a four on one case, what's called pre
- 32:30Speaker 2: tax dollars.
- 32:30Speaker 3: You know that.
- 32:31Speaker 2: So it's like, if you're making one hundred thousand and
- 32:33Speaker 2: you put ten thousand in, now you're taxed on ninety
- 32:35Speaker 2: thousand because it lowers your taxable income by ten thousand dollars.
- 32:38Speaker 2: So now with the HSA, like the most you can
- 32:40Speaker 2: put in is thirty five hundred, thirty five to fifty
- 32:43Speaker 2: for a single person in seventy one hundred for a family.
- 32:45Speaker 2: So let's say you put three thousand dollars into the HSA,
- 32:48Speaker 2: So now that you're making, you know, sixty thousand dollars,
- 32:51Speaker 2: and now it lowers your taxable income, so you're not
- 32:54Speaker 2: paying any taxes on it.
- 32:55Speaker 6: Right.
- 32:56Speaker 2: But the cool thing about it is that it can
- 32:58Speaker 2: actually be invested, like how four one k, So you
- 33:00Speaker 2: can put it in like different type of investments, stock
- 33:03Speaker 2: market investments, mutual fund stuff like that, and now the
- 33:07Speaker 2: money grows. So now let's say you put like three
- 33:09Speaker 2: thousand dollars in for one year, right, but you got
- 33:10Speaker 2: to go to the eye doctor and you gotta get
- 33:12Speaker 2: glasses or whatever, any type of medical expense. Instead of
- 33:15Speaker 2: not having money to pay for it, you've been saving
- 33:18Speaker 2: and you just use your HSA and they give you
- 33:20Speaker 2: like a debit card and all that. But if you
- 33:22Speaker 2: don't go to the doctor, because it's a calculated risk, right,
- 33:25Speaker 2: that's the whole point of having a high deductible plan,
- 33:27Speaker 2: You're not going to the doctor. So if you don't
- 33:29Speaker 2: go to the doctor, what happens is that that money
- 33:31Speaker 2: rolls over and to the next year. So now next
- 33:34Speaker 2: year you start with three thousand, right, So what happens
- 33:37Speaker 2: is that the money grows, and it's kind of similar
- 33:39Speaker 2: to an IRA because at the age sixty five, you
- 33:43Speaker 2: can actually take that money out without paying a penalty.
- 33:45Speaker 2: You take it out before you get a penalty. Now
- 33:48Speaker 2: it's sixty five, you can take the money out. You
- 33:50Speaker 2: just pay state and federal tax. You don't pay a
- 33:52Speaker 2: ten percent penalty or twenty percent penalty for taking the
- 33:55Speaker 2: money out early. So that's kind of like a backdoor way,
- 33:58Speaker 2: like for me opinion, where it's like, I gotta save
- 34:01Speaker 2: money for my health insurance.
- 34:03Speaker 6: So if my budget was let's say four.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Hundred dollars a month, right, I'd rather do the high
- 34:08Speaker 2: deductible plan, put two hundred towards the premium two hundred
- 34:11Speaker 2: towards the HSA. If I got to use it for that,
- 34:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna use it anyway. But if not, now that's
- 34:17Speaker 2: going to be like an investment, you know what I'm saying.
- 34:19Speaker 2: A couple thousand dollars over the course of time adds up.
- 34:22Speaker 2: You might have one hundred thousand dollars in thirty years.
- 34:24Speaker 5: I'm from the world where it was like, yo, if
- 34:26Speaker 5: you didn't use your benefits this year, they don't roll
- 34:29Speaker 5: over the next.
- 34:30Speaker 3: It's like you better use it by the eleventh of November.
- 34:32Speaker 2: But the thing about it is it's so many different
- 34:34Speaker 2: things as far as like even with the four one K,
- 34:37Speaker 2: people don't know that you got a raw four one
- 34:39Speaker 2: K option you might have that, like and it's like
- 34:41Speaker 2: you don't even know a lot of times what's offered
- 34:43Speaker 2: at your job, right, And this is why education is
- 34:45Speaker 2: so important.
- 34:46Speaker 6: Like you know what I'm saying.
- 34:47Speaker 2: It's like little stuff like that might change the direction
- 34:51Speaker 2: of your bro you know what I'm saying.
- 34:53Speaker 5: You get that email like in this world, in this world, yeah,
- 34:56Speaker 5: you're not familiar with this has been a while, right,
- 34:58Speaker 5: So in this one, like they give you a like, Yo,
- 35:00Speaker 5: this financial advisor is coming on December fifteenth if you
- 35:03Speaker 5: want a schedule appointment, And it'd be something like the
- 35:05Speaker 5: dude with ball headed with glasses and he talking to
- 35:08Speaker 5: you and you're like, Yo, what is.
- 35:09Speaker 3: He talking about?
- 35:10Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying, But like this type of
- 35:11Speaker 5: information is like yo, people just knew it.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Yeah man, But so yeah, so like for you, like
- 35:17Speaker 2: I want you to really hammer a home, like even
- 35:20Speaker 2: you could save even one hundred dollars more right, I
- 35:22Speaker 2: got you fifty dollars a month, gotcha.
- 35:24Speaker 7: Yeah, So let me say this first. Man, I say
- 35:26Speaker 7: this on Trapping Tuesday all the time, and I don't
- 35:28Speaker 7: know if people be thinking I'd be dead serious. Yo, Listen,
- 35:32Speaker 7: I'm not a fiduciary or financial advisor. Know that everything
- 35:37Speaker 7: I say is for entertainment purposes.
- 35:39Speaker 3: On well, you can take him.
- 35:40Speaker 7: If you can't mitigate the risk, you must seek out
- 35:44Speaker 7: financial advisory.
- 35:46Speaker 4: I'm not one, but I know one by the name
- 35:47Speaker 4: of Rasha podcast. He can take you to glory. I
- 35:53Speaker 4: can just take you to this.
- 35:55Speaker 7: Listen, this dude is so smart they sleep on I'd
- 35:59Speaker 7: say that every Tuesday, man, and people be laughing.
- 36:02Speaker 4: But this dude is brilliant.
- 36:03Speaker 7: Man, you he just broke that dumb he had me
- 36:06Speaker 7: like I just got Blue Cross.
- 36:12Speaker 4: I'm happy I got to call this guy when he
- 36:17Speaker 4: come with I got an idea, I'm saying. But that's
- 36:21Speaker 4: that's that's real talk.
- 36:22Speaker 6: Man.
- 36:22Speaker 7: So one of the things I like to do is
- 36:24Speaker 7: tell people to say, try to save ten percent whatever
- 36:26Speaker 7: they make, write whatever you make it. If you get
- 36:28Speaker 7: one hundred dollars a week, save ten percent. If you
- 36:31Speaker 7: get one hundred dollars every two weeks, save ten percent.
- 36:34Speaker 7: And so the easiest way to get in the market,
- 36:37Speaker 7: because we understand that the stock market does for you
- 36:41Speaker 7: way more than putting your money in the.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Bank to do for you.
- 36:44Speaker 7: Right, we already understand. We all have beat that drum forever, right,
- 36:48Speaker 7: And so one of the things you can do is
- 36:49Speaker 7: get into index funds on ets, right. And the reason
- 36:53Speaker 7: being is because so let's say you not, you're not
- 36:56Speaker 7: You're not comfortable enough to say, let me buy a Tesla.
- 37:00Speaker 7: I don't have enough to buy a Tesla right now.
- 37:03Speaker 7: I ain't my risk tolerance it's not there yet to
- 37:07Speaker 7: see beyond meat go down five ten percent and still
- 37:10Speaker 7: be there.
- 37:11Speaker 8: Right.
- 37:11Speaker 7: And most people don't even understand, you know. And it's
- 37:13Speaker 7: not because they don't know it because these haven't been
- 37:15Speaker 7: exposed to it yet. They don't know that if the
- 37:18Speaker 7: stock you bought it at thirty dollars and it goes
- 37:20Speaker 7: down to twenty eight, most people in nay, mine, I
- 37:22Speaker 7: lost some money, you know what I'm saying.
- 37:24Speaker 3: And that's not the case.
- 37:25Speaker 7: So one of the best things I would say for
- 37:28Speaker 7: people to do is buy index funds like ETS when
- 37:31Speaker 7: you first got in the game, ets for me ets
- 37:34Speaker 7: better than index funds, you know what I'm saying. And
- 37:36Speaker 7: it's simply because now you can get exposure to a
- 37:39Speaker 7: specific industry, right and I know an episode for the
- 37:42Speaker 7: full the Classic, we broke some now, but in the reup,
- 37:46Speaker 7: we're gonna reenter it. So it's an ETF. It's simple
- 37:50Speaker 7: where let's say I wanted to buy some marijuana stocks, right,
- 37:53Speaker 7: but I know that's kind of a volatile industry.
- 37:56Speaker 3: It's full of young bucks.
- 37:57Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying. It's full of young bucks.
- 37:59Speaker 7: So what happens is you can buy the marijuana ETF.
- 38:02Speaker 7: And now depending on which one you buy, whether it's Yolo,
- 38:05Speaker 7: whether it's MG, you know what I'm saying. Now you
- 38:07Speaker 7: have fifteen twenty marijuana stocks at one time, right, and
- 38:11Speaker 7: now if one or two of them down, or three
- 38:14Speaker 7: of them down, the whole industry, the whole ETF might
- 38:17Speaker 7: go down fifty cent, right, Whereas if you and.
- 38:20Speaker 8: That erners what's up?
- 38:22Speaker 5: You ever walk into a small business and everything just

- 40:42Speaker 7: One stock that went down any given morning, you week
- 40:45Speaker 7: up and you down eight dollars.
- 40:46Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 40:47Speaker 7: So, and also with indexes funds and ETOs, I'm not
- 40:51Speaker 7: a fan of dollar cost averaging because that allows me
- 40:56Speaker 7: to buy stocks over priced over time. But with index
- 40:59Speaker 7: funds in ETFs that are fifty dollars sixty dollars, you
- 41:03Speaker 7: can buy into those every time.
- 41:04Speaker 2: And dollar cost averaging for anybody is when you put
- 41:07Speaker 2: money in every single month, for every single period of time.
- 41:10Speaker 6: Every week or whatever.
- 41:11Speaker 7: Yeah, so if you're buying Apple, you will buy no
- 41:14Speaker 7: matter what the price is.
- 41:15Speaker 6: Every first of the month.
- 41:16Speaker 7: You buying Apple, no matter what the price is, you
- 41:19Speaker 7: buying it there just to stay in right, And so
- 41:22Speaker 7: for me, I'm not a dollar cost averaging person. I'm
- 41:25Speaker 7: an averaging down type of person. Right, and averaging down
- 41:29Speaker 7: is saying I found it, I bought it at fifteen dollars.
- 41:32Speaker 7: I don't care if it run all the way up.
- 41:33Speaker 7: Right Now, what I do is, I'm every half a year,
- 41:37Speaker 7: every two quarters, I reevaluate every stock I'm invested in
- 41:41Speaker 7: right to understand.
- 41:42Speaker 4: What the value is at.
- 41:43Speaker 7: So now if the stock price dips, I'm not buying it.
- 41:47Speaker 7: But it dips at a below value price, I can
- 41:50Speaker 7: buy it.
- 41:50Speaker 6: Right.
- 41:50Speaker 7: So example, I bought Amazon in twenty eighteen at nineteen
- 41:55Speaker 7: hundred dollars. I bought it in October November December eighteen.
- 42:01Speaker 7: The market went into a correction, you know what I'm saying,
- 42:05Speaker 7: and it went from nineteen to seventeen, nineteen hundred to
- 42:09Speaker 7: seventeen hundred. I bought it at seventeen hundred. Now what
- 42:11Speaker 7: that does is that brings my nineteen hundred dollars buying
- 42:15Speaker 7: price down to about eighteen twenty five. Right, So now
- 42:18Speaker 7: don't got a way to get to nineteen to see profit.
- 42:22Speaker 7: I can start seeing profit again at eighteen seventy five, right,
- 42:25Speaker 7: And so then it went from eighteen to sixteen. I
- 42:29Speaker 7: bought two moshas at sixteen. So now instead of me
- 42:32Speaker 7: seeing profit at eighteen seventy five, I can probably see
- 42:35Speaker 7: profit now at like seventeen eighty or something like that.
- 42:38Speaker 4: Right.
- 42:39Speaker 7: And then it went down from seventeen, I mean, from
- 42:43Speaker 7: seventeen to fifteen, I missed it and I got it
- 42:45Speaker 7: again at thirteen. So now instead of me seeing profit
- 42:48Speaker 7: at nineteen, I now got profits at sixteen hundred when
- 42:53Speaker 7: I bought it, at thirteen forty three. It brought my
- 42:55Speaker 7: cost basis all the way down to like sixteen seventy five.
- 42:58Speaker 7: You feel what I'm saying. So I'm with by at
- 43:00Speaker 7: discount over a period of time.
- 43:02Speaker 3: I'm okay with that.
- 43:03Speaker 4: And I told Smalls that I was like, yo, I
- 43:06Speaker 4: don't like green markets. I like blood. I like blood.
- 43:11Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying, because that means I can
- 43:13Speaker 7: get stuff at a discount. But back to what we
- 43:16Speaker 7: were saying, So with individual stocks, I'm a dollar cost average.
- 43:21Speaker 7: But with index funds and ETFs, it's a great way
- 43:24Speaker 7: for you to.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Get in with a lower amount every time because there's
- 43:29Speaker 2: there's not the same requirement that.
- 43:30Speaker 3: You have to put that requirements.
- 43:31Speaker 7: So now I can get in like you can get
- 43:33Speaker 7: I think one is the one besides the ETF. Another
- 43:38Speaker 7: in one is the there's like a high dividend ETF
- 43:42Speaker 7: right way, it's like forty two dollars.
- 43:45Speaker 4: Right and you can get in it every month. You
- 43:47Speaker 4: know what I'm saying.
- 43:48Speaker 7: You can put you know, you saving ten percent of
- 43:50Speaker 7: your money every week, So that means once a month
- 43:53Speaker 7: you can be able to get.
- 43:53Speaker 3: This index fund.
- 43:54Speaker 7: And it's this ETF and one of the things you
- 43:57Speaker 7: can do is you can just say great dividend to
- 44:00Speaker 7: invest in, right, and then the ETF itself is gonna
- 44:03Speaker 7: they've now done the homework for you. They've put the
- 44:06Speaker 7: best dividend ETFs in that ETF, I mean the best
- 44:09Speaker 7: dividend stocks in that ETF.
- 44:10Speaker 4: So now you don't have.
- 44:11Speaker 7: To let me research this, let me research that. You
- 44:14Speaker 7: just look at the performance, how has it performed over
- 44:16Speaker 7: the last year, five years, and you say, okay, cool,
- 44:19Speaker 7: every month, I'm gonna just put fifty dollars in here, right,
- 44:21Speaker 7: one hundred dollars in a year, and you can just keep
- 44:24Speaker 7: doing that.
- 44:25Speaker 4: That's a great way.
- 44:25Speaker 5: When we're doing When we're doing that with are we
- 44:27Speaker 5: looking into the expense ratios as well?
- 44:29Speaker 7: Of course, And it's just for that so in case
- 44:32Speaker 7: people don't know what the expense ratio is, that's just
- 44:34Speaker 7: simply how much you're paying someone to run this, and
- 44:39Speaker 7: it's extremely cheap, like it's cheap like for me when
- 44:42Speaker 7: I'm looking at expense ratios, I want it to be
- 44:44Speaker 7: less than one, right, So it's less than one, so
- 44:47Speaker 7: I'm paying them less than one percent.
- 44:49Speaker 4: And so with these ETFs, a lot of times you
- 44:51Speaker 4: can get.
- 44:51Speaker 7: Them at zero point seventy five percent, zero point sixty
- 44:54Speaker 7: five percent, zero point fifty cents. That's something like for
- 44:57Speaker 7: every thousand dollars you pay them five dollars.
- 45:00Speaker 5: You know, I think that's I think that's something like
- 45:01Speaker 5: people don't even realize, right, like you're actually paying that.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I'm saying. It's like kind of
- 45:05Speaker 3: a hit and.
- 45:06Speaker 7: You're not gonna feel it because what's gonna happen is
- 45:08Speaker 7: it's called passive investment. So now what happens is once
- 45:12Speaker 7: a year, whatever your returns off for the year, they
- 45:15Speaker 7: will take five dollars out.
- 45:17Speaker 3: You're not gonna see it, you know what I'm saying.
- 45:19Speaker 7: So I don't mind if you don't really know too much,
- 45:22Speaker 7: and that gives you time to be in the market.
- 45:25Speaker 7: One of the things I always say is time in
- 45:27Speaker 7: the market is better than time meanings the market.
- 45:31Speaker 6: Right, say that, Say that again, say.
- 45:33Speaker 4: That it was a negro spiritual.
- 45:42Speaker 7: Yeah so so so time in the market. The fact,
- 45:53Speaker 7: time in the market is better than time meaning the market, right,
- 45:57Speaker 7: So just that experience, you know what I'm saying, being
- 45:59Speaker 7: in the market every day, putting your money in those
- 46:02Speaker 7: that's say you buy that ETF every month, you buying
- 46:05Speaker 7: it right, you in the market. Right, You're letting them
- 46:08Speaker 7: do the hard work. You downsize the risk. Your money
- 46:11Speaker 7: is making money for you. So while you're letting that happen,
- 46:15Speaker 7: you can be learning how to research. You can be
- 46:17Speaker 7: learning what it takes, and you can start with researching
- 46:20Speaker 7: the business that inside the ETF.
- 46:22Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. You can break that down
- 46:24Speaker 4: to dimes. You know what I'm saying. You can break
- 46:26Speaker 4: that breakdown a bunch of.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Dimes, big trap.
- 46:32Speaker 4: You can break that breakdown a dime like.
- 46:34Speaker 7: You can take that ETF and now go to Yahoo finance, right, simple,
- 46:40Speaker 7: go to Yahoo finance. Put the ETF in the search ball.
- 46:43Speaker 7: Now you can go slide over to those hype of links.
- 46:45Speaker 7: You'll see financials, you'll see summary, you'll see performance, and
- 46:50Speaker 7: then you'll see holdings. Right, holdings is the companies inside
- 46:53Speaker 7: of the ETF. Press that holdings. Scroll down, because the
- 46:57Speaker 7: first thing is going to tell you is what what
- 46:59Speaker 7: type of businesses are in the ECF.
- 47:01Speaker 4: You'll see basic materials and you know financials.
- 47:04Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 47:05Speaker 7: You go down and it'll show you now the businesses
- 47:08Speaker 7: and the percent of those businesses of the insidey ET
- 47:12Speaker 7: And so now what happens is you can look at
- 47:14Speaker 7: those business and start your research there.
- 47:16Speaker 5: Quick question for you though, like, so when you see
- 47:18Speaker 5: what's inside the holdings, what is the percentage you like?
- 47:20Speaker 6: Right?
- 47:21Speaker 5: So, Like, if I'm looking at like uh AN XL
- 47:24Speaker 5: Y or something like that, and I see the allocation
- 47:26Speaker 5: for a company, what.
- 47:28Speaker 3: Number or percentage do you look like?
- 47:29Speaker 8: You know what?
- 47:30Speaker 3: I like that number?
- 47:31Speaker 6: Right?
- 47:31Speaker 5: Do I want I want them to be allocated like
- 47:33Speaker 5: five to seven or is it like eight to ten
- 47:36Speaker 5: percent of some of like these big time so.
- 47:38Speaker 7: They all they all differentiate. I'm not honestly that part.
- 47:43Speaker 7: I'm not tripping on, but I do want to know
- 47:45Speaker 7: where the majority of the money is, right, right, So
- 47:48Speaker 7: let's say it. We'll just use example, We'll just say
- 47:51Speaker 7: a ETF XLB whatever that is, right, we just gonna
- 47:54Speaker 7: through some cause I don't even nobody saying trap say
- 47:55Speaker 7: it this right, So let's say we're using XLB, right,
- 47:59Speaker 7: and let's say ten percent their top five holdings is
- 48:03Speaker 7: earn your leisure, Wall Street trapper you know in other businesses, right,
- 48:09Speaker 7: And so let's say now we're looking at the holders
- 48:12Speaker 7: and we see, okay, well ten percent of their money
- 48:15Speaker 7: is in Earn your Leisure, eight percent of their money
- 48:19Speaker 7: is in Wall Street Trapper. So that means, now, if
- 48:22Speaker 7: that was one hundred dollars, ten dollars of that is
- 48:26Speaker 7: in Earn your Leisure, right, eight dollars of that is
- 48:30Speaker 7: in Wall Street Trapper.
- 48:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 48:32Speaker 7: So if it's one hundred dollars, you break those percentages
- 48:34Speaker 7: down like that. What I do like to see is
- 48:37Speaker 7: the businesses that they are strong in are solid businesses,
- 48:41Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying. If they solid. Now, if
- 48:43Speaker 7: you got a company that's bad, then that's why I
- 48:45Speaker 7: like these ets, because if a company is not performing,
- 48:49Speaker 7: they're gonna get them out of there. Like you know,
- 48:52Speaker 7: it's just like you know, against it. Like if I
- 48:54Speaker 7: got a trap booming and I got some soldiers and
- 48:57Speaker 7: you ain't performing. I got trap bringing in a shot,
- 49:00Speaker 7: bringing in this, shot and shot, but you know, shot
- 49:03Speaker 7: bringing in this. I got them other traps bringing in this,
- 49:06Speaker 7: and you ain't performing, fam, you gotta go. You out
- 49:08Speaker 7: of a job. You can't run for me no more
- 49:11Speaker 7: what I need you for, you know what I'm saying.
- 49:13Speaker 7: So they're gonna do that, and a lot of them
- 49:14Speaker 7: need to do it once a year or some of
- 49:16Speaker 7: them do it every two years, but they're gonna switch.
- 49:18Speaker 3: Them out and put the next runner in there.
- 49:20Speaker 5: That's the love that that's important too, because like you
- 49:22Speaker 5: can actually see it happen, right if you check from
- 49:24Speaker 5: a year to year or every six months sometimes it
- 49:26Speaker 5: depends on the ETF, you actually see the allocation change, right,
- 49:29Speaker 5: So you'll see one go from four percent to eight percent.
- 49:32Speaker 5: So it's good to know, like, Yo, they see growth
- 49:34Speaker 5: in that company, they're.
- 49:35Speaker 3: Putting more money into the ETF. It becomes even stronger.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Let me ask you this one thing that we haven't
- 49:40Speaker 2: spoken about on this podcast yet in depth. It's gold,
- 49:45Speaker 2: and that's something that's been populate this year two twenty twenty.
- 49:47Speaker 2: A lot of things have been ringing off in twenty twenty.
- 49:50Speaker 2: Goal is something that you know, people are just hearing
- 49:52Speaker 2: about and they're like, all right, I need to invest
- 49:55Speaker 2: in Goal is going up? Is you know what's your
- 49:58Speaker 2: thoughts on investing in go?
- 50:00Speaker 7: So I actually owned two ounces of physical Yeah, I
- 50:04Speaker 7: got him to save the positive because one even when
- 50:07Speaker 7: invest in buying gold, you have to be storage is key.
- 50:13Speaker 7: Like you're not supposed to have gold just laying around
- 50:16Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying, like that the metrics, I mean,
- 50:18Speaker 7: you can, but I find that you got some gold enough,
- 50:23Speaker 7: I'm gonna come hollers. I don't live like that, big chat.
- 50:30Speaker 4: We're different, different Gina.
- 50:36Speaker 7: But you know so and then you got a minus.
- 50:38Speaker 7: You know if you tell somebody you got that in there,
- 50:40Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying. So gold is an amazing product, man,
- 50:44Speaker 7: It's amazing protection of wealth, all right, is what you
- 50:50Speaker 7: would call insurance to your wealth and a hedge against
- 50:55Speaker 7: the dollar. So I actually think that everybody is your
- 50:58Speaker 7: own goal. One of the greatest things about gold is
- 51:02Speaker 7: that brick is broken. You can literally buy it in
- 51:04Speaker 7: a kilo. My goal is to buy a kilo of
- 51:07Speaker 7: goal one thousand and one grand.
- 51:11Speaker 4: That's that's a brick, brick, baby, brick aquilo. So my
- 51:17Speaker 4: goal is to actually buy a kilo of gold.
- 51:21Speaker 6: So where did you buy gold from?
- 51:22Speaker 7: Like, so you can get it in multiple ways. Now
- 51:24Speaker 7: were talking physical goal both let's talk about all right.
- 51:28Speaker 7: So we can get physical goal from a certified dealer,
- 51:31Speaker 7: or we can get get it from you can get
- 51:33Speaker 7: online and check for.
- 51:35Speaker 4: Actual goal.
- 51:38Speaker 7: Exchanges and gold securities, meaning like they literally whole goal JM.
- 51:46Speaker 7: Bullying is one of them, like one of the best
- 51:48Speaker 7: ones out I was just going to ask you about
- 51:49Speaker 7: that bullion. This is one of the they one of
- 51:51Speaker 7: the best ones out there. But even when you buy
- 51:53Speaker 7: your goal, what you got to look for now is
- 51:56Speaker 7: so you're never going to get one hundred percent.
- 52:00Speaker 6: Gold because it's too soft.
- 52:02Speaker 7: Yeah, so now you gotta tap into how much of
- 52:06Speaker 7: the mixture that's in the goal.
- 52:09Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 52:09Speaker 4: So now you know it's you know, we start looking
- 52:12Speaker 4: at that.
- 52:12Speaker 7: But you also got to pay attention when you're buying gold.
- 52:18Speaker 4: It's not easier to sell goal.
- 52:21Speaker 7: Like if you buy it, it's not easy to sell
- 52:23Speaker 7: it back, right because now, so there's this thing called
- 52:27Speaker 7: like the spot price on the goal, right, and that's
- 52:30Speaker 7: what the goal is actually worked. And then you have
- 52:33Speaker 7: what the deal is gonna charge you. Again, it's the
- 52:35Speaker 7: middle man, Like if I gotta go get it and
- 52:37Speaker 7: I gotta sell it to you, then I won't mind,
- 52:39Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying. So you ain't gonna go
- 52:41Speaker 7: get it yourself, you know what I'm saying. So you
- 52:43Speaker 7: gotta see who's paying who's charging you the less? You
- 52:46Speaker 7: know who taxing you the less like.
- 52:48Speaker 4: Being on a block.
- 52:49Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying, Like, for Shah, I got
- 52:50Speaker 7: it for seventeen I got it for seventeen five, right,
- 52:53Speaker 7: so trap, why you charge me for seventeen?
- 52:55Speaker 4: Well mine better? You boys paying to it to take
- 52:58Speaker 4: it too long? A rock up, you know what I'm saying.
- 53:04Speaker 7: So you know you want to pay attention to that
- 53:05Speaker 7: as well, but you can. It's definitely you know JM.
- 53:09Speaker 7: Bullying is one of the ones that I perfonally be like,
- 53:11Speaker 7: they good people. But also you can go to you
- 53:13Speaker 7: know where people buying these rolexes and all that from,
- 53:16Speaker 7: like a lot of these places. If it's a real
- 53:18Speaker 7: rolex that's not the rolex dealer, they can be certified
- 53:21Speaker 7: dealers and you can literally go to them and be like, yo,
- 53:24Speaker 7: I want to buy some gold, and they'll.
- 53:25Speaker 4: Be like, all right, cool, I got you. You know
- 53:27Speaker 4: what I'm saying.
- 53:27Speaker 7: You can buy pellets of goal, you can buy gold coins.
- 53:30Speaker 7: But again, now you're looking at one of the things
- 53:32Speaker 7: you got to ask them is what is your feet?
- 53:35Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 53:36Speaker 7: And then a lot of time you try to sell again,
- 53:38Speaker 7: it's something to hold, you know what I'm saying, So.
- 53:41Speaker 4: Things get real.
- 53:42Speaker 7: Like we looked at the If you look at USDT
- 53:44Speaker 7: clock dot org, you'll see that the dollar loses value
- 53:47Speaker 7: every day of the company's This world is different, twenty
- 53:49Speaker 7: seven trillion dollars in debt and growing, right, so we
- 53:52Speaker 7: know that the more money they print, the lesson is
- 53:55Speaker 7: worth a dollar today, ain't worth a dollar tomorro, you
- 53:58Speaker 7: know what I'm saying.
- 53:58Speaker 4: So that's what the goal is.
- 54:00Speaker 7: But as the dollar loses value, the goal actually goes
- 54:02Speaker 7: up because people try to find safer places to put
- 54:04Speaker 7: their money, especially in volatile market as well.
- 54:07Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, Things going crazy, and they
- 54:09Speaker 4: can't get into bonds.
- 54:10Speaker 3: Because that's usually the alternative.
- 54:12Speaker 7: Right, If stocks become too risky, then big investor say, well,
- 54:15Speaker 7: let me get into bonds so they can.
- 54:17Speaker 4: Get some type of return on their money.
- 54:18Speaker 7: Right, But if bond, if bond interest rates go too low,
- 54:22Speaker 7: right now, they're like, okay, I don't want to be
- 54:23Speaker 7: in bonds. And then what happens when interest rates go low?
- 54:27Speaker 7: Gold goes up. Why because everybody's gonna say, let me
- 54:29Speaker 7: get the gold. You feel what I'm saying. So now
- 54:32Speaker 7: we start understanding that triangle offense like Phil Jackson, stocks, bonds, Goal,
- 54:37Speaker 7: But really goal is like that safe haven, you know
- 54:40Speaker 7: what I'm saying. It's the safe house, right, It's gonna
- 54:43Speaker 7: be there, it's gonna perform. But the thing about goal
- 54:45Speaker 7: is if the stocks are performing well, then they don't
- 54:49Speaker 7: need to.
- 54:49Speaker 4: Be in Goal.
- 54:49Speaker 7: They can go to stocks and get a great return
- 54:52Speaker 7: of their money. When stocks get too risky and bonds
- 54:54Speaker 7: don't got.
- 54:55Speaker 4: A good rate, when let me go to GOP, you
- 54:57Speaker 4: know what I'm saying. So I feel like I'm trapping
- 55:00Speaker 4: right now.
- 55:00Speaker 2: So well, so that's the that's the physical but then
- 55:03Speaker 2: you can buy it like et they go buy a
- 55:06Speaker 2: gold stock on the stock market right now?
- 55:08Speaker 6: Is that?
- 55:08Speaker 1: So?
- 55:09Speaker 7: Now what happens is you won't buy physical goal on
- 55:13Speaker 7: the stock market. You will buy goal miners, right, and
- 55:17Speaker 7: that's a great place to be because what goal miners
- 55:22Speaker 7: are the people who mine goal mining the goal the companies,
- 55:25Speaker 7: the companies, right, So you can buy gold miners and
- 55:28Speaker 7: then a lot of goal miners will actually be copper
- 55:31Speaker 7: miners as well, because some in a lot of the
- 55:34Speaker 7: goal that's what.
- 55:35Speaker 4: They'll mix it with a little bit, you know what
- 55:37Speaker 4: I'm saying.
- 55:38Speaker 7: So a lot of goal miners be copper miners, some
- 55:41Speaker 7: be silver miners, some be platinum miners.
- 55:43Speaker 4: So now you're just looking at that whole aspect.
- 55:45Speaker 7: But you can buy goal miners and you can buy
- 55:48Speaker 7: goal et s which can actually be a mixture of
- 55:52Speaker 7: miners and like this precious metal other precious metals that's
- 55:58Speaker 7: inside of that.
- 55:58Speaker 4: One of them is called take a symbol O U
- 56:02Speaker 4: n Z. You know what I'm saying. So that's a
- 56:04Speaker 4: goal ETF as well.
- 56:06Speaker 5: So when we're looking at gold ETFs, right, and I'm
- 56:08Speaker 5: thinking like things of myself just from a standpoint of like, yo,
- 56:12Speaker 5: people are minding the gold who's bothified in the shovels
- 56:15Speaker 5: form we're looking Come on.
- 56:16Speaker 4: You you you you talking about you know, so you
- 56:18Speaker 4: think about that.
- 56:19Speaker 7: Like one of the things I said is when this's
- 56:22Speaker 7: how most people got rich during the gold Rush. Was
- 56:24Speaker 7: not the people who was digging for gold. It was
- 56:26Speaker 7: the people who sold the shovels. That's who got rich.
- 56:29Speaker 7: So that's a great place to be, you know what
- 56:31Speaker 7: I'm saying.
- 56:32Speaker 2: So yeah, so let me ask you this as far
- 56:34Speaker 2: last time we was here, we talked about a little bit.
- 56:36Speaker 2: We touched on how to save for your kid, what
- 56:39Speaker 2: can stodio accounts playing things of that nature. But I
- 56:43Speaker 2: don't think we went over there like to like in
- 56:46Speaker 2: depth with them and the UGMA.
- 56:49Speaker 6: Can you talk about that a little bit?
- 56:51Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, So what we did was we talked about,
- 56:53Speaker 7: you know, just investing from my daughter.
- 56:55Speaker 4: And that was real dope because before I actually.
- 57:01Speaker 7: Spoke on that, I never heard nobody talk about it,
- 57:05Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying. And so for me, one
- 57:07Speaker 7: of the reasons what I did so I was like,
- 57:09Speaker 7: what's the difference between it, because I wanted to do
- 57:11Speaker 7: something for my daughter besides just putting money in a
- 57:13Speaker 7: bank account. Like if I'm making my money work for
- 57:15Speaker 7: me all the time and I'm saying I'm gonna do
- 57:17Speaker 7: this for the long run, then I'm instantly a light
- 57:20Speaker 7: went off of my head and was like, if I
- 57:22Speaker 7: stole my daughter, now she got way more time than me.
- 57:25Speaker 7: I can put a whole bunch of young bucks and
- 57:28Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying, custodio account and let it run.
- 57:30Speaker 3: So you got two types.
- 57:31Speaker 7: You got the ugm ME and you got the UT
- 57:35Speaker 7: The ug MUD and the UT muh.
- 57:37Speaker 4: So one of them is as.
- 57:40Speaker 7: Una unified gift account and one of them is a
- 57:46Speaker 7: transfer minor account, right, So one of them, the ut
- 57:50Speaker 7: the UT muh you can put real estate, you can
- 57:56Speaker 7: put gold, you can put art, you can put intellectual
- 58:01Speaker 7: properties and stocks and cash over there. The UGMA is
- 58:07Speaker 7: a gift, so you can only put stocks or binds,
- 58:12Speaker 7: mutual funds, eats, cash.
- 58:14Speaker 4: You can't put the real estate and the other stuff
- 58:16Speaker 4: in there.
- 58:17Speaker 3: So there's a limitation between the two.
- 58:18Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. But the dope part about
- 58:21Speaker 7: both of them is they're not tax defird, but there's
- 58:27Speaker 7: an advantage in having them.
- 58:28Speaker 4: Whereas the first won't see I think.
- 58:31Speaker 7: It's a thousand, one thousand and fifty dollars, it's tax free.
- 58:37Speaker 7: Everything from two thousand dollars on up get taxed at
- 58:40Speaker 7: a children's rate, which is ten percent, you know what
- 58:44Speaker 7: I'm saying. So it's still you know, not you got
- 58:46Speaker 7: to pay the taxes, you know what I'm saying on it.
- 58:49Speaker 4: But it's still cool because.
- 58:51Speaker 7: And I think one of the things that our people,
- 58:54Speaker 7: our culture have bad.
- 58:56Speaker 4: And it's again it's not we just got to learn it.
- 58:58Speaker 4: We're scared to pay taxes. The first thing is somebody
- 59:01Speaker 4: be like.
- 59:02Speaker 7: I don't won't pay no taxes when in reality like
- 59:05Speaker 7: paying taxing me, you're making money, you know what I'm saying.
- 59:08Speaker 7: So now you just got to figure out how to
- 59:11Speaker 7: decrease the taxes instead of not pay the taxes, you
- 59:14Speaker 7: know what I'm saying. So one of the way is
- 59:15Speaker 7: you want to decrease taxes on the money you making. Right,
- 59:18Speaker 7: So if you got your child in that UTMA account
- 59:21Speaker 7: right or that you get, you're only paying ten percent,
- 59:24Speaker 7: no matter what it does, you're paying ten percent.
- 59:26Speaker 4: I'm cool with that, whereas just.
- 59:29Speaker 7: Regular income account that's twenty eight percent, twenty three percent,
- 59:32Speaker 7: Like that's a major So your child now from zero
- 59:36Speaker 7: to eighteen or twenty one depending on the state, then
- 59:39Speaker 7: paying ten percent and you changing their life, and.
- 59:41Speaker 4: I'll take that.
- 59:43Speaker 6: Yeah, it's powerful.
- 59:44Speaker 2: It's powerful, and I think that having a conversation about
- 59:49Speaker 2: generational wealth, that's has to be included in there, because
- 59:52Speaker 2: it's like you have the first step is investing for yourself.
- 59:55Speaker 6: You can't save anybody till you save yourself.
- 59:56Speaker 3: That's the fact.
- 59:57Speaker 2: But after you say after you you know, not even
- 59:59Speaker 2: save yours. After you start investing in yourself, now you
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: have to start to invest in your children.
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: That's that's that's what we plugged. That's the plug the generation.
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: If you're not doing that, you're selfish. Man, that's the plug.
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: Like you know, I always said, man, like if I
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: got it out the mud, and I watched my mama
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: get it out the mud, and I watched my grandmother
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: get it out the mud, and I watch everybody around
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: me get it out the mud while they let my
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: child get it out the mud. At some point, I
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: gotta say, I won't change this, yo. I gotta say, man,
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: it's different. And I feel like we, you know, we
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: get so caught up in I'm living my best life
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: to what we were trying to enjoy life so much,
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: to what you forget about. They got generations that kind
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: of come behind us, you know what I'm saying. So
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: for me, it's a lot of stuff I don't do
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: until I know for sure I've at least secured two generations,
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying. And that comes with one
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: educating my daughter, because even if I give her a
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: million dollars, if I ain't educated on home what to
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: do with a million dollars, I've now wasted a million dollars.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: It's a saying that if.
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: You took all the wealth in the world and divided
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: it equally, within ten to fifteen years, the wealthy people
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: will be back in charge because they know what to do.
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: We get a million dollars and we don't know what
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: to do with it. We back into the famous quote
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: I said in the beginning, lions don't tell the gazelles
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: and the zebras how to get away. Why because now
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: I'm taking food out of my mouth. So I as
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: long as I don't tell you how to get away,
- 1:01:44Speaker 7: you're gonna always come back. But if I tell you
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: how to get away, now you're gonna go tell the zebra. Look,
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: this is how to get away from the line, and
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: a zebra gonna go tell the giraffe and the gazelle.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: Now nobody came. I ain't got no tricks to him,
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: I sleeve.
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: Whereas if I don't tell nobody and I just keep
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: it am people, then we gonna always eat. So I
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: ain't mad at them for not giving us the game.
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: I ain't around here saying, man, they should teach us
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: this in school. No, what I'm gonna do is I'm
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: gonna get the knowledge right, I'm gonna seek it I'm
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: gonna go get I'm gonna flip every rock, I'm gonna
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: kick in every day, right, and once I get it,
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: I'm gonna go back and regurgitate it to my daughter
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: at the age of two. What's the stock, what's the asset,
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: what's the liability? Does it make your money?
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: What's real estate? At an early age, I'm having this conversation.
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: So now I'm teaching her a word to date like
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: she's I still when I'm gonna say that, then like
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: a word, I'm teaching her two three words a day
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: about just financial literacy.
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: Like the school can do what the school is supposed
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: to do. We're gonna do some of that homework too.
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: But this financial literacy, this was gonna save you, you
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: know what I'm saying. Let me show this was gonna
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: save you family, you know what I'm saying. So I'm
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: teaching her that. So now I've did two things. I've
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: showed her how to make a million through investing it,
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: and I've taught her how to nurture a million with knowledge,
- 1:02:58Speaker 7: because information is the further to your wealth man. That's
- 1:03:01Speaker 7: how we say generations with knowledge, passing all the money
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: you want, man, if you don't pass no knowledge, you
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: killed them.
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: No, that's a true fact.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: And it was like, you know, bringing it full circle,
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: you know, bigger than just like I said, just bigger
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: than just a podcast when you reached out to me,
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: like we need to really do something to change the world.
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: I hate the word culture because it just gets watered
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: down so much.
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. Yeah, it's like that's a fact.
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: That's a fact.
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: I appreciate you for putting me on.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: But it was like, you know what I'm saying, let's
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: change the world and the problem. You know, I never
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: understood like until recently, shot to MG the mortgage guy.
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: He uh.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: He enlightened me on a lot of different things, like
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: you can only put so much information in a podcast.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: It's just a fact. This is why education is still important.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: I'm not anti college like people think I'm anti college
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: because I always talk bad about college.
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: I'm not about college all the time.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: I just feel like a lot of it's just the way,
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: not even college so much, but it's just education period.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: Education.
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: I'm not I'm not anti college.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: I have a college degree, but I just feel that
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: say that again.
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: Man, know everybody know I have a college.
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: I'm saying, like I didn't know that, bro, Yeah, I
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: have people.
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: You know, I went to Hawaii play basketball.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: I forgot you.
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: I thought you was like on something.
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: People people got that misusception even like today they was
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: just like, yo, they know that. I I'm like, you
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: went to school to like we both had education as
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: a background for us foundation.
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: I finished in three years.
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: Bro.
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: I keep telling y'all, listen, I'm not a financial.
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: He could take you the glory man.
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: But with Mickey Fact shout out to Mickey Fast is
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: one of my favorite.
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: Yeah, that's hard.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: When he came on and he spent the freestyle for
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: us and he said, formal education will get you a portion,
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: but self education will make you a fortune. And that's
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: my life. Like, if I had to rely on my
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: college degree right now, be in trouble. Just honestly speaking,
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: I'll be in trouble. So it's the things that I
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: learned outside of college, including earn Alesia. Like just in
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: the last twelve and eighteen months, Like you know what
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: I'm saying, that has literally literally changed the trajectory of
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: my not only my life, my son's life and God
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: willing his children's lives like you know what I'm saying,
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Like it literally has changed you see, people, it's not
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: a facade. If you follow all of us on Instagram,
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: you see the growth. That's a fact only through education.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: So it's like when you came to me and you
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: was like, yo, bro, let's do something. And we're going
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: back and forth. I'm like, let's do a podcast. You're
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: going through a podcast, right, You're going to do it.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: And I think the hard part when people get into
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: podcast is that you hear information, it becomes overload and
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: some people going to act on it. But unfortunately a
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: lot of people, it's just it's just not enough, like
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: you kind of need. And that's the good thing about
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: school is like you need that certain level of like
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: a tutor to like walk you through it and here's
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: a screen share on the website and show you and
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: like how to open an account and like what stock
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: to like sometimes you got to hold a person's hand. Unfortunately,
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: in one hour, even two hours, it's just not enough
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: time to do that. So we're like, how do we
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: do this? So he was going back and forth and
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: this is the first time ever earn your lead in
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: history where we actually collaborated with somebody and put together.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: I don't even want to call it a curriculum. I
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: don't want to call it a program. It's really a manual. Yeah,
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: we put together a manual for generational wealth, for generational
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: wealth called the Family Pack. And it was just like
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: the idea was just crazy. And it's like you was like, yo,
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: I need you on it too, like as an advice,
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: I need you on it. So I'm like, all right,
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: So we talk about dividends, you talk about reach. You'd
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: give them like five growth stocks. To pick mutual funds,
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: I break down a mutual fund play because a lot
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: of times people have the wrong misconceptions about mutual funds.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: But you can actually make a lot of money on
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: the right mutual funds.
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: Sometimes you don't even have.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: To pay the knock on mutual funds that you pay
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: a lot of money, but sometimes you don't have to
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: pay that. If you know what you're doing, you get
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: no load fund. And there's things that nation and we
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: want you broke that down, broke down index fund, broke
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: down five to twenty nine plans, Please our plans is
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: crazy because it's like, poke about five to twenty nine plans.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: But it's like you know, there's like thirty something states
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: where you can actually get a tax benefit, but then
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: it's like six states.
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: But those thirty states, you.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: Have to actually live in that state, and the five
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: to twenty nine plan has to be in that state.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: But then it's like six states where you can actually
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: invest in anybody's state five to twenty nine plan and
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: you can still get a tax break. So it's just
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: like it's just always so many different levels of onions
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: to peel back.
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: And then we went over to trust, Yes, and we
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: broke that.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: It's the first time ever I broke down life insurance
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: and actually like showed somebody like how I look at
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: it as an advisor, like the access that I'm privy to,
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: which is like you don't have that as a regular person, Like,
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: and I kind of like went through that, and I
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: broke down the Dynasty Trust, and the Dynasty Trust.
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: Gonna keep going.
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: It was the whole thing.
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: It was like we actually gave the formula and different
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: how to make your child a millionaire guarantee the investments,
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: and it was like that alone took like a half
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: an hour to actually explain. It's like it's like a
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: whole thing, but it's just something like I said, it's
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: like if we put that like, we would have to
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: literally do ten podcasts and you.
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: Still might miss something whole season.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: I'm saying that nobody's really gonna sit for ten podcasts
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: that have to be like his own, the Wall Street
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: Trapper or your Lisha show. So talk about talk about
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: talk about the family pack.
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: So for me, you know, the reason why I really
- 1:08:47Speaker 7: came you with the idea is you know, this last
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: year it was a lot of growth for me, and
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: I realized that, Yo, like I can talk about a
- 1:08:55Speaker 7: lot of stuff because it's it's you. As you start
- 1:09:01Speaker 7: learning more knowledge, you start seeking more knowledge, right, And
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: I realized how knowledgeable you were, and we was having
- 1:09:08Speaker 7: dual conversations. So for me, it was like, bro, like
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: like we can change something, but we're gonna have to
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: walk them through it.
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: Yeah, that was like we gotta we gotta have to
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: walk because you like, yo, they still not getting it,
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Like they're still not getting it, and like people come
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: up to me.
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: They still don't get it.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: Bro, Like we literally have to walk there, hold their
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: hands and walk them through this.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: And that's okay.
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: Now it's okay.
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: And the reason why it's okay.
- 1:09:33Speaker 7: And I see people get frustrated all the time, Like
- 1:09:37Speaker 7: I see people on Instagram saying.
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: Stuff like I told you this, why are you doing?
- 1:09:41Speaker 7: I'm like, yo, you're an educator, like everybody sitting in
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: the class learn different, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: So I was like, we gotta walk them through it.
- 1:09:49Speaker 7: One is because you don't know what You don't know
- 1:09:53Speaker 7: until you exposed to it, right. I remember my first
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: time cooking up bro I burned it the wall turn brown.
- 1:10:01Speaker 7: I had to call my at and she had to
- 1:10:03Speaker 7: like show me what I was doing.
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: But she played me.
- 1:10:07Speaker 7: Because she took a lot of you know, she she
- 1:10:09Speaker 7: took the shake.
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: Out of it.
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: She charged me for it, and she played me. And
- 1:10:17Speaker 7: by the time I got what she left me with,
- 1:10:19Speaker 7: it was just enough to get another package. But because
- 1:10:22Speaker 7: she walked me through it, I ain't need none more.
- 1:10:24Speaker 7: So I was a l I took, but it was
- 1:10:26Speaker 7: a learning lesson, you feel what I'm saying.
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: So for me, I feel like.
- 1:10:31Speaker 7: Over the last year, we've made financial literacy, investing in
- 1:10:37Speaker 7: the stock market and all the great that breakdowns that
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: y'all do every Tuesday and every Monday.
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: We've now piqued people's interests.
- 1:10:46Speaker 7: People understand now, especially with this pandemic, they like, yo,
- 1:10:51Speaker 7: I gotta do something else, and they want to do it.
- 1:10:54Speaker 7: That's the great thing we've now made it say, because
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: I remember me coming up telling y'all, I'm telling my
- 1:11:00Speaker 7: partners about it and they're like, bro, I'm not doing that.
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: Bro, you tripping right, And here we are a year later.
- 1:11:05Speaker 7: My partner is now like, bro, I just bought some
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: apple and people don't know, like, trap.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: You changed my life because this write the common chasing change.
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: Because we've been beating it, like we ain't stopping Market
- 1:11:16Speaker 7: Monday Trapping Toody podcast, Market Monday Trapping Toody podcast.
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: This we consistent.
- 1:11:22Speaker 7: So now it's like we've peaked the interest and now
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: people are like, all right, I want to do it,
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: but I don't know what to do.
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: Alright.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Cool.
- 1:11:29Speaker 7: That's what this wealth pack is about. It's about saying, Okay,
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: I made the mistakes for you. Hopefully, hopefully you don't
- 1:11:38Speaker 7: have to do.
- 1:11:38Speaker 8: With you that.
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: Butha'm gonna make sure you ain't gonna do it.
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: See, if I just tell it to you, you're still
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: liable to make the mistakes because you're trying to replay
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: what I said, and it's gonna you know, you ain't
- 1:11:49Speaker 7: really getting it. I can tell you watch out for
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: that whole, but it's so many other things going on,
- 1:11:54Speaker 7: you still.
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: Fall in the whole.
- 1:11:55Speaker 7: But now if I grab your hand and say look,
- 1:11:57Speaker 7: we're gonna step over this whole, and I got your hand,
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: You're like, okay, let me step over the whole. Right,
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: So it's important. It was important for me to say,
- 1:12:05Speaker 7: let's shift gives. Let's not just tell them, let's lead them.
- 1:12:09Speaker 5: And what makes it so impressive is that you know,
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: most times people, you know, they take programs, they take
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: cause it's.
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: Really about themselves. But this ain't.
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: This is about you, but it's about your family. And like,
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: who doesn't want to set up that family lug, you
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: know what I'm saying. Who doesn't want to be the
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: plug to create generational themselves.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: It's the most selfless act you can give. I mean,
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: it's not even no more than we can actually even
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: say about it. I just feel like it's just a
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: really proud thing that we're proud of. That that's the
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: parting with you as our first product, that we actually
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: are part of that magically you know, performed.
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: On I feel like a artist directed.
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: Its purple taste. Ghost face on the Purple tape. So
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: you don't let say that.
- 1:12:58Speaker 7: I'm gonna say, you don't let that hear you say
- 1:13:01Speaker 7: that ghost Faseline because he's capped down. He said, I'm
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: still trying to figure out how you came up with
- 1:13:06Speaker 7: I don't even know. That's another story. That's a whole
- 1:13:09Speaker 7: nother podcast.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: So being that, you know, it's the holiday season, right
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: and we in the Black Friday vibe, We're not even
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: gonna wait till Black everybody dropping their situation on Black Friday.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: Were literally gonna drop this right now. And you know,
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: you was like, you know what, Trappers earnest United United
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: Front Family. So we was going to do fifty percent off,
