- 0:00Speaker 1: Sup, boot crew?
- 0:00Speaker 2: Welcome to a mistake that I made about a year ago,
- 0:03Speaker 2: but that's okay, because we're gonna suffer together. Last late summer,
- 0:07Speaker 2: I found a website, okay, called theselebritydresses.com. This is not
- 0:11Speaker 2: sponsored at all.
- 0:12Speaker 1: I was feeling super nostalgic.
- 0:14Speaker 2: I had an idea for a video where I bought
- 0:16Speaker 2: all of the celebrity dresses that I like and make
- 0:18Speaker 2: me feel good, and I was gonna try.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Them on for you guys, okay? So, Adam woke up
- 0:21Speaker 1: in the morning, he said, what's this ridiculous charge for?
- 0:23Speaker 2: And I said, I bought the Twilight dress, and the
- 0:26Speaker 2: Harry Potter dress, and the Vampire Diaries.
- 0:28Speaker 1: It needs to stop, woman. Good idea. So here we are.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Now here's the thing.
- 0:31Speaker 2: These dresses came in like November or December of last
- 0:36Speaker 2: year after ordering them around.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Like August or September because I.
- 0:39Speaker 3: did order.
- 0:40Speaker 1: About 11 dresses. And I'm not gonna lie, I was
- 0:43Speaker 1: exactly 24 pounds heavier than I am right now. I'm
- 0:47Speaker 1: gonna be honest, I'm not gonna wear Spanx for this,
- 0:49Speaker 1: should I? Yeah, cause my bits don't fit right.
- 0:51Speaker 2: But that's okay because I have bits, a bunch of
- 0:54Speaker 2: you probably have bits, and that is fine!
- 0:56Speaker 1: I think it's also interesting to see what these celebrity
- 0:59Speaker 1: dresses look like on this. If you were to describe
- 1:04Speaker 1: the shape of my body, You're not going to offend me.
- 1:09Speaker 1: It's a trap. Tell them the shapes of my body.
- 1:12Speaker 1: It's a trap. Like, give me, like, the pieces. It's
- 1:15Speaker 1: a trap.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Skinny person, legs and arms. Yeah. And then midsection, heavier set.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Humpty Dumpty.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall.
- 1:27Speaker 3: I feel like I'm getting in trouble.
- 1:28Speaker 1: You're not. Tell them about this thing, though. What do
- 1:31Speaker 1: we call that? Hank Hill? Yeah, I have a Hank
- 1:33Speaker 1: Hill ass. I just want a picture of a god
- 1:35Speaker 1: dang hot dog. I have really small wrists. I have
- 1:38Speaker 1: really small ankles. I have a weird shaped body.
- 1:42Speaker 2: My tummy sticks out farther than my butt. I'm working
- 1:44Speaker 2: hard to keep that from happening right now.
- 1:46Speaker 1: But I'm going to be honest. I have a.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Below average body. But for me, I think I'm averagely cute.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I might not be what the society calls sexy, but
- 1:55Speaker 2: I think I'm a cutie patootie. You're fucking right sexy, buddy.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Am I your type?
- 1:59Speaker 3: You're beautiful.
- 2:00Speaker 1: You saw Humpty Dumpty sit on the wall and you.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Saved her say I was.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Gonna say you got a Humpty Guys guys, let me
- 2:13Speaker 1: diss myself.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I'm allowed to feel ways about myself.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I have a supportive husband Maybe not a supportive dad,
- 2:19Speaker 2: but that's okay. He'll never see the video He doesn't
- 2:21Speaker 2: watch them my pedestal for today so I can stand
- 2:24Speaker 2: so these long dresses look nice. I am Did bring
- 2:28Speaker 2: a squatty potty, because that, for me, is elegance.
- 2:32Speaker 1: When one does chat in the correct way, one feels amazing.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Not sponsored, yet again, but my favorite product in the
- 2:39Speaker 1: entire world. I ordered extra large.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Squatty potties the other day, and I didn't know they
- 2:42Speaker 2: were extra tall, and my knees were against my ears
- 2:45Speaker 2: when I was pooping, and it was.
- 2:46Speaker 3: The best time ever.
- 2:48Speaker 1: What dress should we start with? What tickles your wiener
- 2:50Speaker 1: the most?
- 2:51Speaker 3: Sarah, something simple. Something simple? Don't jump right into it.
- 2:55Speaker 3: The blue ones?
- 2:57Speaker 1: Do you recognize this? Do you recognize this right here?
- 3:00Speaker 1: This was my most excited dress actually to buy.
- 3:02Speaker 2: This is a recreation of Elena's dress from the Vampire Diaries.
- 3:07Speaker 2: When I found this website, I actually bought all of
- 3:09Speaker 2: these thinking that it was a scam to be completely honest.
- 3:13Speaker 1: So when they didn't show up for a while, I
- 3:14Speaker 1: really thought that it was a scam So the fact
- 3:16Speaker 1: that this even like looked like what was in the
- 3:19Speaker 1: picture and had a lot, you know of the same
- 3:21Speaker 1: things I was excited because this looks like a perfect replica. Honestly,
- 3:24Speaker 1: I don't think it was as cheap So let's say
- 3:26Speaker 1: I paid about $ 200 for this dress, but like think
- 3:29Speaker 1: about it Like I'm gonna donate this donate this for
- 3:31Speaker 1: somebody for prom. So let's try it on.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Oh Okay, this is.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Elena Gilbert dressed It is nice.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It actually fits really good, this one. Definitely didn't need
- 3:47Speaker 2: any clamps on it. It does feel like silk or satin.
- 3:51Speaker 2: What do you give this on a scale of 1
- 3:52Speaker 2: to 10?
- 3:52Speaker 3: That's a solid 8.5.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Could I, like, actually wear this?
- 3:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Maybe this one I need to keep for an evening.
- 3:59Speaker 1: It's doing a little something here. Oh. When I release
- 4:02Speaker 1: the Kraken... What's the Kraken?
- 4:04Speaker 3: This thing.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Oh.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 4:07Speaker 1: It's like an ocean.
- 4:10Speaker 2: For the quality, for saying that I paid about like $ 150,
- 4:12Speaker 2: $ 200 for this, I would definitely pay this in real
- 4:15Speaker 2: life for this kind of dress.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Do I feel gorgeous? Yes, I do. There's no support here.
- 4:20Speaker 1: There's like a lot of cuppage going on. But like,
- 4:22Speaker 1: she's cute. No, I didn't take my bra off. I apologize.
- 4:25Speaker 1: But the boobs will be on the floor, baby. Okay.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Next up, my dudes, we are gonna try this on.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Is this familiar? I'm gonna give you a second to guess. One, two, three. Yes,
- 4:35Speaker 1: this is Julia Roberts. Pretty woman dress. that she wears
- 4:40Speaker 1: in the movie.
- 4:40Speaker 3: You're a pretty woman.
- 4:41Speaker 1: You're saying all the right things.
- 4:42Speaker 3: You better watch out.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I might take you out for tacos later. This is
- 4:45Speaker 1: the pretty woman dress that Julia Roberts wore in the
- 4:47Speaker 1: famous movie Pretty Woman, which actually I just watched for
- 4:50Speaker 1: the first time like six months ago.
- 4:52Speaker 2: And it did change me as a person and it
- 4:53Speaker 2: made me love her more. But I was like, this
- 4:55Speaker 2: is a dress that is so iconic in history and
- 4:56Speaker 2: so many people.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Have worn over the years. And I needed to try
- 5:00Speaker 1: it on too. It's not really a flattering shape for
- 5:02Speaker 1: my body, but that's just what they were doing in
- 5:04Speaker 1: the 80s or 90s. This dress, I paid $ 159 for it.
- 5:08Speaker 1: It's actually, it weighs a lot. It's not giving me
- 5:11Speaker 1: anything different than any of the prom dresses that people
- 5:13Speaker 1: are wearing now. And it has five five-star reviews, so.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And the cool thing too is you can order these
- 5:19Speaker 1: in different colors on this website. But let's see how
- 5:21Speaker 1: she looks.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I don't know, Adam.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Adam, how you feeling about this? Does it look like
- 5:28Speaker 1: that to you? Yeah. What am I giving? I can
- 5:35Speaker 1: feel the dishonesty in your voice, guys. I want you
- 5:38Speaker 1: guys to rate these. What do you think?
- 5:39Speaker 2: This one's not doing anything for me here. For quality-wise,
- 5:42Speaker 2: the boobs don't feel like they're where the boobs are
- 5:45Speaker 2: supposed to be. And then there's, like, all of this
- 5:48Speaker 2: sticky plastic that looks like it's supposed to stick to you,
- 5:50Speaker 2: but it doesn't. I wouldn't say this one's very well-made. Like,
- 5:52Speaker 2: this isn't something I would suggest to order. It feels
- 5:55Speaker 2: like it wouldn't fit anyone right. There's, like, all of
- 5:58Speaker 2: this plastic rubber, but it's, like, flipped out.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Oh, I just thought of myself.
- 6:05Speaker 1: In the viewfinder.
- 6:06Speaker 3: You should be happy. You look pretty.
- 6:10Speaker 1: I feel like I'm gonna Hulk out. This is the
- 6:15Speaker 1: dress that I'm most excited about and I am putting
- 6:17Speaker 1: on next. Do you remember this? Do you remember this moment?
- 6:20Speaker 1: Think about it. Think about it. It was around the world. Okay.
- 6:23Speaker 1: This dress right here is boom.
- 6:25Speaker 2: The Emma Roberts ruffled princess ball gown Met Gala 2019.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Here's the thing. When this showed up, I saw this
- 6:32Speaker 1: color and I was like, oh my God, that's not right.
- 6:34Speaker 1: But if you look at the picture, it is correct.
- 6:36Speaker 2: It also didn't come with anything to put underneath it,
- 6:39Speaker 2: which felt like a bit of a faux pas on
- 6:41Speaker 2: their side, so you're gonna see a bit of my
- 6:43Speaker 2: undies today.
- 6:44Speaker 1: But that's okay, because I am wearing some today.
- 6:46Speaker 3: What, you aren't always?
- 6:51Speaker 1: It's hot out here. Oh my gosh! I feel like
- 6:55Speaker 1: a goddamn cupcake princess! So this is what Emma Roberts wore.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I don't understand. I'm in my brown underwear. Enjoy. High-waisted.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I do wear only the high-waisted underwear. If I can't
- 7:04Speaker 2: tuck it into the bottom of my bra, I don't
- 7:05Speaker 2: understand why it's made. And if you're young and wondering
- 7:08Speaker 2: what happens, that happens as you get older. Small underwear
- 7:11Speaker 2: doesn't make sense, and comfort wins.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Look at this dress. Okay? How much did I pay
- 7:15Speaker 1: for this? I paid $ 229 for this dress, which feels
- 7:19Speaker 1: a little extreme because it's just tulle, but the presentation
- 7:22Speaker 1: this tool is extraordinary okay sometimes buddy but like this
- 7:28Speaker 1: makes me feel cute doesn't make me look like i'm
- 7:29Speaker 1: 900 pounds yes but i don't even care because i'm
- 7:32Speaker 1: a princess and everybody would look at me and now
- 7:34Speaker 1: we're gonna check the spin ability because this one is
- 7:37Speaker 1: giving cupcake princess yep that's it what'd you think of
- 7:43Speaker 1: that adam.
- 7:45Speaker 3: You're a princess.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I'm a grown up woman. I'm a grown up woman.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Look at this. Your frill is in the front. You
- 7:50Speaker 1: need to be folded down. No, I think the.
- 7:52Speaker 2: No.
- 7:53Speaker 3: It's flying away.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Dun, dun, dun. Dun. Dun, dun, dun. Adam's just looking
- 7:59Speaker 1: at me like.
- 8:01Speaker 1: A lot of you are going to recognize this dress.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I'm going to let you guess it really quick.
- 8:05Speaker 2: In 5, 4, 3, 2, Hermione Granger's dress. Yes.
- 8:11Speaker 1: From the Goblet. We love Harry Potter in this house.
- 8:14Speaker 1: What is your Harry Potter house? Mine is Ravenclaw, but
- 8:18Speaker 1: for some reason now when I do the test it
- 8:19Speaker 1: says Slytherin. Adam says Ravenclaw, but I'm going to tell
- 8:21Speaker 1: you the truth. He's a Hufflepuff through and through.
- 8:24Speaker 3: You don't want to take this outside?
- 8:25Speaker 1: He gets upset when I say that. I'll show you
- 8:28Speaker 1: some real Hufflepuffing. Oh my god. This is one of
- 8:31Speaker 1: their best sellers and right now it is on sale
- 8:35Speaker 1: for $ 169.
- 8:36Speaker 2: This one, the pink is not right in the silk
- 8:39Speaker 2: up here. Like hers is definitely a more muted, like
- 8:41Speaker 2: the colors are not correct. It's definitely rosier. I get
- 8:45Speaker 2: what they're trying to do. So like, it's not a match.
- 8:47Speaker 1: It definitely looks like a cosplay match, but let's see
- 8:50Speaker 1: how it looks on my body. Adam, I can't. I'm
- 8:52Speaker 1: starting to freak out. I can't get out.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Oh no, she's strapped, guys. You're really missing out on
- 8:56Speaker 3: the off-camera shenanigans.
- 8:58Speaker 1: They don't want to see these bits. It's very lightweight. Like,
- 9:01Speaker 1: this is something that'd be fun, like, if you're going
- 9:02Speaker 1: to a con or something. Who wore it better? Me
- 9:08Speaker 1: or Miss Granger? This actually feels nice. I would wear this. Like,
- 9:11Speaker 1: you know if you go out and you go down
- 9:12Speaker 1: to the chickens in the morning and you're prancing along
- 9:15Speaker 1: with your chickens and When you're picking up eggs and
- 9:19Speaker 1: you just want to feel a little flouncy.
- 9:21Speaker 2: That's me.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I'm flouncy. Do you like it, Adam?
- 9:24Speaker 3: You're flouncing.
- 9:25Speaker 1: What do you give it?
- 9:25Speaker 3: You're flouncing and bouncing and I give it a seven.
- 9:27Speaker 1: A seven?
- 9:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:29Speaker 1: It feels good. It's the most comfortable dress that I've
- 9:31Speaker 1: put on. And that's for dang sure. What do we
- 9:33Speaker 1: have next? Oh my god! Adam, do you know who
- 9:35Speaker 1: wore this dress?
- 9:36Speaker 3: Bella. I just guessed because I know there's a Bella
- 9:40Speaker 3: dress in there. Oh, that's the next one. Mean Girls?
- 9:44Speaker 1: You're getting closer. One more. An iconic blonde. A blonde
- 9:48Speaker 1: bombshell that overtook... Was she legally blonde? I like what
- 9:52Speaker 1: you did there, but no. This right here is the
- 9:56Speaker 1: iconic dress that was worn by Miss Marilyn Monroe.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Herself.
- 10:00Speaker 2: This right here, the shocking pink dress, is from the
- 10:03Speaker 2: 1953 film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, directed by Howard Hawks. This
- 10:07Speaker 2: dress was created by the costume designer William Trevilla, and
- 10:11Speaker 2: is used in one of the most famous scenes in
- 10:13Speaker 2: the film, which subsequently became the subject of numerous imitations,
- 10:16Speaker 2: significantly from Madonna in her music video, her 1985 song,
- 10:19Speaker 2: Material Girl.
- 10:20Speaker 1: So I had to get this. Absolutely. I paid $ 168,
- 10:25Speaker 1: but there's no way I couldn't feel like Marilyn.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Okay?
- 10:28Speaker 1: Okay. It's pretty. Just like you. Do I look like Marilyn?
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Okay.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Okay, you know what though? Her natural hair colour was brown.
- 10:36Speaker 1: It's definitely not as poofy as it should be in
- 10:40Speaker 1: the thing. Oh wait, where's the belt? Bring me the belt.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Do me up.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Hello.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I steal a kiss. This is very cheaply made.
- 10:49Speaker 3: That's okay.
- 10:51Speaker 2: None of it's holding the other- like the dress, like
- 10:52Speaker 2: the material of the dress is nice. The gloves, they
- 10:54Speaker 2: don't match, but.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Diamonds are a girl's best friend. That was Marilyn, right?
- 11:00Speaker 2: Maybe? These gloves, though, yeah, they're not the right color pink,
- 11:03Speaker 2: which would drive me absolutely insane. Like, for a Halloween
- 11:05Speaker 2: outfit for one night, this is cool, which I know, like,
- 11:07Speaker 2: if you're going to Spirit Halloween and things like that,
- 11:09Speaker 2: you're going to be paying.
- 11:10Speaker 1: More than $ 150 for your whole outfit.
- 11:12Speaker 2: So, like, the fact that this is $ 168, I don't
- 11:15Speaker 2: think it's that bad.
- 11:17Speaker 1: How long until Kim Kardashian gets this iconic dress, though, right?
- 11:20Speaker 2: Ooh.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Ooh, look at that.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Nice booty!
- 11:23Speaker 1: I feel like it's going to break right off.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Oh, it's hanging on by a thread.
- 11:29Speaker 1: See if I can make it fall off. Is it
- 11:36Speaker 1: gonna come off?
- 11:38Speaker 3: No?
- 11:39Speaker 2: No? No? No? I'm in it.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it's something else. Do I feel cute, though? I
- 11:45Speaker 1: do feel cute. I don't feel like I go, you
- 11:47Speaker 1: know what I mean? It's cool to see these kind
- 11:48Speaker 1: of dresses on somebody else, but like, It's not, it's
- 11:50Speaker 1: not a vibe. And I don't like gloves. I'm overstimulated. Also,
- 11:53Speaker 1: do you want to see something crazy? A lot of
- 11:54Speaker 1: people have pinky fingers.
- 11:56Speaker 2: I don't.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Next up, guys, I'm so excited, okay? Breaking Dawn, part one.
- 12:02Speaker 1: This is what you see right here. This is Bella's,
- 12:04Speaker 1: Bella's wedding dress. Okay, look at that lace back. I've
- 12:06Speaker 1: always wanted to try this on my whole entire life
- 12:08Speaker 1: since that movie came out. I was Googling about this
- 12:10Speaker 1: earlier for this video. Do you know that the original
- 12:12Speaker 1: dress that she wore in the movie cost, Adam, guess.
- 12:16Speaker 3: $ 10, 000.
- 12:18Speaker 1: $ 35, 000. thousand dollars. So if this is the remake, this
- 12:23Speaker 1: can't be too bad. I paid... I paid $ 259- Careful!
- 12:26Speaker 1: It's cursed.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Turn you into a vampire.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Hopefully. About time. I paid $ 259. It's on sale from $ 5.
- 12:35Speaker 2: 89.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I know I did not pay $ 5. 89 for this dress.
- 12:38Speaker 1: But hey, if it slaps, it slaps. I'm gonna go
- 12:40Speaker 1: slapping on. Bella had no boobs. Selena has the boobs.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Can you imagine you showed up for your wedding to
- 12:52Speaker 1: Edward and they're like, we chose out your dress and
- 12:54Speaker 1: this is what you look like when you put it on.
- 12:56Speaker 1: It looks like I ate Renesmee.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Renesmee was already there for the wedding and nobody even knew.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Okay, uh, so it doesn't feel great.
- 13:03Speaker 2: The boobies are supposed to fit in here, but the
- 13:06Speaker 2: shoulders does not allow.
- 13:07Speaker 1: And since when did it come off her shoulders? Was
- 13:09Speaker 1: that a thing? Gosh, this is supposed to be like
- 13:11Speaker 1: up above your boobs. Oh, I see it. It's supposed
- 13:14Speaker 1: to be above, but they put cups in this part.
- 13:16Speaker 1: This is not a dupe. This is a floop!
- 13:19Speaker 3: They flooped the doop!
- 13:20Speaker 1: They flooped the doop!
- 13:21Speaker 2: In the movie, these lines come up and her boobs
- 13:24Speaker 2: are down here, but they put the cups in these,
- 13:27Speaker 2: so like you can, you can put them in there.
- 13:29Speaker 2: What they do have that looks nice is like the
- 13:31Speaker 2: lace accenting down the back.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Like that's cute, but the material feels like plastic and
- 13:38Speaker 1: I'm already sweating and look at all these runaway threads.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Don't waste your money on this one.
- 13:43Speaker 2: It's weird how a website can have like some hits
- 13:45Speaker 2: and some Frickin misses and this this is a no,
- 13:48Speaker 2: maybe this will save the day feels very much like me.
- 13:51Speaker 1: This is like 900 Pounds this is Lady Gaga's dress
- 13:57Speaker 1: that she wore to the Oscars. Oh My gosh, look
- 14:01Speaker 1: at this. It's really really heavy.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I also have the black gloves that go with this
- 14:05Speaker 2: This is feeling very sling the spooky boo.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Let's go put this on wait. Oh How much did
- 14:09Speaker 1: I pay for it?
- 14:09Speaker 3: $ 189?
- 14:10Speaker 1: Guys, the amount of fabric in this, like, this better
- 14:15Speaker 1: look bossin'. I don't know how to get into this train.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Let's do it!
- 14:19Speaker 1: Here, how does this look? I think. Trash bag.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Um, it's definitely too big in the bosom, which
- 14:28Speaker 2: is strange and not usual for me. These aren't sticking out.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Who wore it better?
- 14:33Speaker 1: I don't know what these are.
- 14:35Speaker 2: I feel like they're supposed to be like out like
- 14:37Speaker 2: this and like while you walk, they're just gonna go down.
- 14:41Speaker 2: The gloves again, giving garbage back. Do I feel like
- 14:43Speaker 2: I could like style this differently?
- 14:44Speaker 1: No, I don't. You know what's really giving me? Tent, tent.
- 14:48Speaker 1: I feel like I could ship this somewhere and they
- 14:51Speaker 1: could make tents for like 12 families. I'm gonna give
- 14:54Speaker 1: this a flop. Is it like flattering though? For me, yeah,
- 14:58Speaker 1: but I want it off. my body. So, what do
- 15:00Speaker 1: we have next? The simulation of gloves are a no
- 15:04Speaker 1: for me. This one was an interesting one I had
- 15:06Speaker 1: to try on just for fun. This is a 2013
- 15:09Speaker 1: MTV Music Awards Selena Gomez outfit, since she's a fellow Selena.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I obviously had to try this on. It looks gorgeous, okay?
- 15:17Speaker 1: I was like, this could be made for me. And
- 15:19Speaker 1: now that I'm looking at it, I don't think it's
- 15:21Speaker 1: gonna be. We're falling down the spiral staircase. Of self-hate.
- 15:30Speaker 1: But that's okay. I kinda wanna punch you. I paid, uh,
- 15:34Speaker 1: $ 169 for this, so. 169 tears. Okay, I'm gonna see.
- 15:40Speaker 3: I'm excited.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I don't have a mirror back here, so I don't
- 15:42Speaker 1: get to see what you guys get to see.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Ready? Ah!
- 15:45Speaker 1: Ah.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Okay, so I feel like I've started to make a
- 15:52Speaker 2: dress and then I gave up because of course someone
- 15:55Speaker 2: looks like Selena Gomez It's gonna look like it looks
- 15:56Speaker 2: like on Selena Gomez.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Is this a thing? Probably. It could look great on someone.
- 16:00Speaker 1: We have like a little bit of- Do you remember
- 16:01Speaker 1: that Angelina Jolie where it was just like- So yeah,
- 16:06Speaker 1: this is another thing the corset top there are no
- 16:07Speaker 1: cups inside of this at all obviously Hers is like
- 16:10Speaker 1: a corset top. This is just made to look like
- 16:12Speaker 1: a corset top. It goes across. This is really heavy,
- 16:15Speaker 1: nice material, honestly. It's got all these different eyelets in it.
- 16:18Speaker 1: It just doesn't sit nice. And I feel like this
- 16:20Speaker 1: is such a different size than this. It's interesting. It's cute.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Would I ever wear this? Absolutely not. So I saved
- 16:27Speaker 2: the best for last, which is the Kim Kardashian dress.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Because this dress, which I was so excited for, Octavia
- 16:33Speaker 2: Spencer's dress right here, came with a broken zipper.
- 16:36Speaker 1: And there was no way to hold it closed. So...
- 16:39Speaker 1: Rest in peace! But I know you're all waiting for
- 16:41Speaker 1: this right here, which is the iconic presidential ball dress
- 16:44Speaker 1: from Kim Kardashian that she went to with Mr. Pete
- 16:47Speaker 1: Wentz himself.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I know, I think we all think that was still
- 16:50Speaker 2: a weird fever dream, but that's okay. In the picture here,
- 16:54Speaker 2: it looks like glittery, gold, gorgeous, diamond things. In this,
- 16:59Speaker 2: it's actually a very small sequence, so....
- 17:05Speaker 1: Excuse me, sir.
- 17:05Speaker 2: In the picture, it's looking like something a lot different
- 17:07Speaker 2: than this.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Maybe from far away? Yeah, from far away, it looks
- 17:10Speaker 1: a bit better. But I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 17:12Speaker 1: the one she was wearing was probably like a $ 20, 000 dress,
- 17:14Speaker 1: where this was $ 149. So, I like the high neck
- 17:18Speaker 1: on it. I like the train. Let's see how it looks.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I just feel fancy in this one. I just love sequins.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Oh my god! I look like a roll of aluminum foil.
- 17:33Speaker 1: A roll of aluminum.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Man, if I went outside right now, it isn't even
- 17:38Speaker 2: a cloud in the sky, but I can tell you
- 17:39Speaker 2: right now the lightning would.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Smite a bitch. This isn't good. This isn't good.
- 17:45Speaker 2: I had different intentions for this video. Now I just
- 17:48Speaker 2: feel like a roll of Alcan foil that's been left.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Out in the sun. I feel hot and I feel angry.
- 17:53Speaker 1: I think this is actually like a really beautiful dress.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I think on the right person. This would be really beautiful,
- 17:57Speaker 1: especially if you style it the right way. For some reason,
- 18:00Speaker 1: they have these weird pads that are off-center and too low.
- 18:04Speaker 1: But you know what?
- 18:08Speaker 2: Grace O'Malley recently posted this thing about how hard it
- 18:11Speaker 2: is to dress shop.
- 18:12Speaker 1: When you aren't like the body status quo.
- 18:14Speaker 2: And oh my gosh, it is so true. But I
- 18:16Speaker 2: think what designers don't realize, like you go to the mall, right?
- 18:18Speaker 2: And you go dress shopping. And what size do they
- 18:20Speaker 2: never have? Like large, extra large, 1X, 2X. Because they
- 18:24Speaker 2: always like sell the fastest if something's like meant to
- 18:26Speaker 2: fit the body right and flattering. So this definitely isn't
- 18:29Speaker 2: me trying on a dress that would flatter my body type.
- 18:32Speaker 2: The big poofy one is, or you know, a nice
- 18:34Speaker 2: empire waistline.
- 18:35Speaker 1: I love that. The Bridgerton dress is gorgeous. Care to
- 18:38Speaker 1: hate on myself. And that is the truth. We're all
- 18:39Speaker 1: different sizes and shapes.
- 18:41Speaker 2: And I think the one thing that I've learned from
- 18:42Speaker 2: trying on all of these dresses is that in the media,
- 18:46Speaker 2: I think a lot of it is smoke and mirrors, babe.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Because even people that are different sizes have, you know,
- 18:50Speaker 2: bits and pieces. So if you watch this and maybe
- 18:52Speaker 2: you felt the same way that I did, know that
- 18:54Speaker 2: I feel the same way that you have too. So,
- 18:57Speaker 2: don't forget, when you see the social media, a lot
- 18:59Speaker 2: of it isn't real. A lot of us are facetuning.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I am an absolute person who does that. But that's okay,
- 19:06Speaker 2: because it still kind of looks like me at the
- 19:08Speaker 2: end of the day. Guys, which dress was your favorite?
- 19:10Speaker 2: What should I do with all these dresses? I don't
- 19:12Speaker 2: know if it would work. Donate it to somebody for prom.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Maybe you want one of these really hard. Let me
- 19:16Speaker 2: know in the comments.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Giveaway!
- 19:18Speaker 1: Giveaway! I hope you guys are having a really good day.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Don't forget to subscribe if you haven't, Boo Crew. And
- 19:22Speaker 1: until next time, I'm getting in my pool because I'm sweaty.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Bye.
- 19:27Speaker 1: They don't want to see this bits. Yeah, they're your bits.
- 19:31Speaker 1: You married me.
- 19:31Speaker 3: They're not mine, but I appreciate that.
- 19:34Speaker 1: They're kind of your bits. Okay.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Right?
- 19:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean... I don't want to get too ownership-y
- 19:42Speaker 3: about it, but yeah.
- 19:43Speaker 1: My bits are your bits. Well, then your bits are
- 19:45Speaker 1: my bits.
- 19:46Speaker 3: I like bits and bytes.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Okay. Let me get my shit stool. I'm such a
- 19:55Speaker 1: fancy girl.
- 19:57Speaker 3: The Squatty Potty label matches the dress.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Does it? Man, I planned, I planned.
