- 0:02Speaker 1: On scorns Ostrodia.
- 0:05Speaker 2: This is the Wader Panalty Show.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the Reader Panety Show. Coming
- 0:11Speaker 3: up tonight.
- 0:12Speaker 4: The BBC forced to admit it misled viewers.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Again in its reporting on Donald Trump, misinformation that our
- 0:20Speaker 3: ABC also engaged in. Daniel Wilder Michael Danby will cover
- 0:24Speaker 3: that and the day's other top headlines, calls for an
- 0:27Speaker 3: independent investigation into the ABC after it used taxpayer funds
- 0:32Speaker 3: to achieve platinum status with a trans lobby group. Sephanie
- 0:37Speaker 3: Bastian will join me for more on that. The latest
- 0:40Speaker 3: from the US with Corey DeAngelis, including the victim playing
- 0:44Speaker 3: of the most inept governor in the US and that
- 0:47Speaker 3: is a crowded field.
- 0:49Speaker 4: And later in the hour, D. D. Dun Levy will
- 0:52Speaker 4: cover the latest royal and.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Celebrity news, including unhinjured attacks against Milania Trump again talking
- 1:00Speaker 3: about unhinged lefties losing it, features Joyless joy Read and
- 1:05Speaker 3: her latest paranoid delusions.
- 1:07Speaker 5: They're sort of gleeful towards sort of returning to nineteen
- 1:10Speaker 5: thirties Germany, not even the United States. Like I know
- 1:13Speaker 5: that it's real. I actually think that what those people
- 1:17Speaker 5: wanted and what Donald Trump is delivering is ethnic cleansing.
- 1:21Speaker 4: But first, more bad news for the BBC, with the.
- 1:24Speaker 3: British public broadcaster admitting it misled viewers by claiming that
- 1:29Speaker 3: Donald Trump called for Liz Cheney to be shot in
- 1:33Speaker 3: the face. In the days before the presidential election last year,
- 1:37Speaker 3: a presenter on BBC said that Donald Trump appeared to
- 1:40Speaker 3: suggest Liz Cheney should face a firing squad for her
- 1:45Speaker 3: stance on foreign policy. In an internal memo, BBC News
- 1:50Speaker 3: said its coverage had been inaccurate, but no correction was
- 1:54Speaker 3: ever issued publicly, and we saw this exact same lie
- 2:00Speaker 3: being pushed by our very own ABC.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Have a look.
- 2:04Speaker 6: Donald Trump certainly took that acrimonious step further with in
- 2:08Speaker 6: that interview with Tucker Carlson, describing her as a very
- 2:11Speaker 6: dumb person, a warhawk, and even raising the hypothetical, I
- 2:16Speaker 6: guess of her facing a firing squad.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Of course, he did no such thing.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Donald Trump was merely making the point that people who
- 2:23Speaker 3: are pro war, like Liz Cheney, are rather cavalier about
- 2:27Speaker 3: risking other people's lives, but they would never put themselves
- 2:31Speaker 3: in the firing line. Joining me now is the Institute
- 2:35Speaker 3: of Public Affairs Deputy Executive Director Daniel Wilde and former
- 2:38Speaker 3: Labor senator Michael Danby. Daniel, where is the correction? Where
- 2:44Speaker 3: is the apology from the ABC? Where is the clarification?
- 2:47Speaker 3: I won't even call it a correction, some sort of
- 2:49Speaker 3: a clarification about oh, maybe we didn't provide all the
- 2:52Speaker 3: context there.
- 2:53Speaker 7: Well, don't hold your breath, reader, I don't think one's
- 2:55Speaker 7: going to come funnily enough. And look, this is just
- 2:57Speaker 7: another example of how the ABC has a complete total
- 3:00Speaker 7: inability to present matters and facts and an impartial, unbiased manner.
- 3:06Speaker 7: And this is why their ratings are going down. It's
- 3:08Speaker 7: why Australians don't trust the ABC anymore. We've seen it
- 3:12Speaker 7: with COVID, We've seen it with the Voice to Parliament,
- 3:14Speaker 7: we've seen it with Net zero. They only ever present
- 3:16Speaker 7: one side of the story. And I just think the
- 3:19Speaker 7: reporting has gone downhill. And clearly the ABC, which was
- 3:22Speaker 7: once respected and once widely watched, it's just not the
- 3:26Speaker 7: institution that it once was. It should apologize, but it's
- 3:29Speaker 7: not going to.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Well, Michael, where's the accountability? We saw the ABC also
- 3:34Speaker 3: deliberately edit the president's comments, those January sixth comments that
- 3:39Speaker 3: sort of behavior led to resignations of the BBC, but
- 3:43Speaker 3: the ABC that hasn't even been an apology.
- 3:45Speaker 8: From what I understand, Reja accountability is coming, You're part
- 3:49Speaker 8: of it. Sky's ratings and the digital world is something
- 3:54Speaker 8: that faces the old focus of the ABC. Why can't
- 3:57Speaker 8: they apologize when they make a mistake. Why can't that
- 4:00Speaker 8: person from four Corners who did all those dreadful programs
- 4:04Speaker 8: about Cardinal pell admit that she was wrong when the
- 4:08Speaker 8: High Court came to its decision. Why can't after Chris
- 4:10Speaker 8: Kenny exposes Julian Stevens, can't they say we got it wrong.
- 4:15Speaker 8: Why can't Sarah Ferguson say that three part series that
- 4:19Speaker 8: I did on Trump was Trump Directussian and we should
- 4:24Speaker 8: apologize for it. That would give all of the other
- 4:26Speaker 8: things that they do more credibility, but that would be
- 4:29Speaker 8: balanced and not sort of the wok agenda.
- 4:32Speaker 4: But in some ways, Dan they don't have.
- 4:36Speaker 3: That reckoning and accountability because the taxpayer funded, so they
- 4:41Speaker 3: can ignore the market, that can ignore the audience plummeting,
- 4:45Speaker 3: that can sort of not worry about any of that
- 4:47Speaker 3: and just focus on activism as opposed to trying to
- 4:52Speaker 3: serve their charter, and they do have a charter in place,
- 4:55Speaker 3: which sets them apart from other media organizations exactly.
- 4:58Speaker 7: I mean the charter is a part out of the
- 5:00Speaker 7: getting public funding is saying if we're going to have
- 5:02Speaker 7: a public broadcast and recit debate whether that's appropriate or not,
- 5:05Speaker 7: but if you're going to have one, then they need
- 5:06Speaker 7: to actually serve the public. Every single Australian tax port
- 5:09Speaker 7: payer is forced to pay for the ABC, So the
- 5:12Speaker 7: ABC should reflect the diverse views of the Australian community.
- 5:16Speaker 7: And plainly they are failing.
- 5:17Speaker 3: At that the massive and I would struggle to name
- 5:21Speaker 3: a single conservative presenter the host I.
- 5:27Speaker 4: Mean even within just their ranks.
- 5:29Speaker 3: When you talk about the production teams, that the entire
- 5:33Speaker 3: editorial team, where are the Conservatives? Where are the people
- 5:36Speaker 3: representing around fifty percent of the population. Now, let's move
- 5:40Speaker 3: on to the number of temporary visa holders in Australia
- 5:44Speaker 3: that have searched to a record two point nine million.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Home affairs figures show an increase of around one point
- 5:52Speaker 3: two million since twenty nineteen. And these figures include more
- 5:56Speaker 3: than seven hundred and thirty thousand New Zealanders. And we
- 6:00Speaker 3: also have more than six hundred and thirty thousand students
- 6:04Speaker 3: in this country on these temporary visas well.
- 6:07Speaker 7: Our migration program is a scam. It is a backdoor
- 6:11Speaker 7: path to students and those on temporary visas to getting
- 6:14Speaker 7: permanent residency. Mainstream Autralians getting ripped off. They're paying the price,
- 6:18Speaker 7: whether it's the congestion on our social services, the higher
- 6:21Speaker 7: cost of housing and rants that are induced by this
- 6:23Speaker 7: massive migration program. Australians don't want it. Even The Age
- 6:27Speaker 7: and the Sydney Morning Herald, these left wing newspapers published
- 6:30Speaker 7: polling showing Australians want cuts to immigration. They want migrants
- 6:34Speaker 7: to come here who are from similar countries, those who
- 6:36Speaker 7: have English speaking backgrounds and have similar institutional understanding of
- 6:40Speaker 7: the Australian way of life and Australian values. Australians had
- 6:43Speaker 7: an absolute gut full of this open slather, uncontrolled mass
- 6:46Speaker 7: migration program. It's in enriching universities, it's in enriching big corporates.
- 6:50Speaker 7: The government loves it because it brings in revenue. Everybody benefits,
- 6:54Speaker 7: other than the millions and millions of mainstream Australians who
- 6:56Speaker 7: are paying the price.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Well, Michael the Home Affairs but also shows that of
- 7:01Speaker 3: these two point nine million temporary BESA holders, only two
- 7:04Speaker 3: hundred and thirty eight thousand are temporary skilled workers and
- 7:10Speaker 3: three hundred and sixty thousand are tourists. And I think
- 7:12Speaker 3: those figures would surprise a lot of people because we
- 7:15Speaker 3: keep being told this line about we need to have
- 7:18Speaker 3: this mass number coming out the legit.
- 7:21Speaker 8: People that are here out of the two point nine million,
- 7:24Speaker 8: So you've got two million people here. Now, it's not
- 7:28Speaker 8: as raf Epstein, who Andrew Bolt exposed the other day
- 7:32Speaker 8: says that it's you know, you're racist because you're against migration.
- 7:35Speaker 8: It's because people have legitimate differences over the level of migration.
- 7:41Speaker 8: Can't you get back to the issues, raf, so you know,
- 7:44Speaker 8: start being an adult, and that's why your ratings have
- 7:46Speaker 8: crashed to under four percent on morning radio. Under four
- 7:51Speaker 8: Well wow, well maybe it's four point two. I'm sorry.
- 7:54Speaker 8: I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. But the
- 7:56Speaker 8: point is is that you're wiping out, as Daniel said,
- 8:00Speaker 8: the legitimate concerns of people, even higher immigration people in
- 8:03Speaker 8: the past like me think it was too high, and
- 8:06Speaker 8: particularly the scam of international students who are in the
- 8:10Speaker 8: business model of the universities. It's ridiculous. They're all doing
- 8:15Speaker 8: many of them fake degrees, can't speak English, don't actually
- 8:18Speaker 8: go to the course, and you're using it as a
- 8:20Speaker 8: pathway to citizenship.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Why are both political parties Michael hooked on this big
- 8:26Speaker 3: Australia philosophy because yes, at the last election of the
- 8:30Speaker 3: Coalition had a lower target, but it was still pretty
- 8:34Speaker 3: high when you look at the overall figures, it was
- 8:36Speaker 3: not significantly different to what Labor were proposing.
- 8:40Speaker 8: Well, I think it's because both political parties are afraid
- 8:44Speaker 8: that some of the ethnic communities will say that they
- 8:47Speaker 8: are being racist by trying to depress the immigration figures,
- 8:51Speaker 8: and also because of a nostalgia for the fact that
- 8:54Speaker 8: immigration worked in the past. So you just have to
- 8:56Speaker 8: adjust this be adults, refocus the whole scheme, make it less.
- 9:03Speaker 8: I particularly think for the Liberals to say that they
- 9:07Speaker 8: should have less immigration but not take into account the
- 9:11Speaker 8: international students is a big mistake. The universities are terrible
- 9:16Speaker 8: places these days. They're just businesses that don't actually provide
- 9:20Speaker 8: higher education for students. They're just generating income for these
- 9:25Speaker 8: awful middle level bureaucrats who want high incomes. Some of
- 9:30Speaker 8: them more than the Prime Minister out of international student fees.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Dan, Is it that nostalgia or are they hooked on
- 9:38Speaker 3: the sugar hit to the GDP figures, not the per
- 9:41Speaker 3: capita figures but the overall figures. And this notion that
- 9:46Speaker 3: existing migrants are going to be aghast if you cut migration.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I think if you did a deep dive into that,
- 9:53Speaker 3: you'd find that no, many migrants are as concerned about
- 9:57Speaker 3: the influx of people as anyone who was born and
- 10:02Speaker 3: bread here.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Well, that's right, I mean, there's the issues that Michael
- 10:04Speaker 7: has crectly identified in terms of why they don't go
- 10:07Speaker 7: for it. The other thing is you're right Inflate's GDP.
- 10:10Speaker 7: You have more people spending more money in a bigger market.
- 10:12Speaker 7: Your headline GDP is bigger, so it sounds good, but
- 10:15Speaker 7: as you say, the per capital is actually going backwards.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Don't forget.
- 10:17Speaker 7: The other thing is big business are a major lobby
- 10:19Speaker 7: because it suppresses wages and it means that they don't
- 10:22Speaker 7: have to train Australians for the job, so they're basically
- 10:24Speaker 7: getting a bottom line benefit. Your point about migrants being
- 10:27Speaker 7: concerned about it if you explain it to them as
- 10:31Speaker 7: what will their lives of their children be like they
- 10:33Speaker 7: understand that the thing that recent migrants are concerned about
- 10:36Speaker 7: is you're going to stop their parents coming in through
- 10:39Speaker 7: the family vis the thing that's where the scare campaign
- 10:41Speaker 7: comes in. So that's what you have to manage politically.
- 10:43Speaker 4: That is true.
- 10:44Speaker 3: And we saw the fallout when Senator Price just enter
- 10:48Speaker 3: Price just made a comment really repeating what a labor
- 10:51Speaker 3: polster had said about the voting patterns of the Indian
- 10:55Speaker 3: community and the hysterical reaction to that.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Michael was quite telling.
- 11:00Speaker 8: Very malevolent. Penny Warm is then able to broadcast some
- 11:04Speaker 8: comment made by a liberal senator just before the election
- 11:07Speaker 8: onto Wabo and scare the people in individual electorates. It's
- 11:11Speaker 8: sort of the weaponizing of reverse racism that is terrible.
- 11:17Speaker 8: It's just like what they've the mean girls did with Renalds,
- 11:22Speaker 8: Linda Reynolds, Kimberly Kitching and the whole Higgins case. They're ruthless, stalinist.
- 11:29Speaker 4: But they're good at it. You know what.
- 11:31Speaker 3: It's an adversarial game politics, and I think the Coalition
- 11:34Speaker 3: need to appreciate that and actually start turning up to
- 11:37Speaker 3: the fight. Now there are calls for an overhaul of
- 11:40Speaker 3: family travel entitlements for federal politicians after it was revealed
- 11:44Speaker 3: Senator Sarah Hanson Young slug taxpayers almost three thousand dollars
- 11:49Speaker 3: for flights and accommodation to attend a Byron Bay music
- 11:53Speaker 3: festival with a relative.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Adam. Hanson.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Young also met with stakeholders and small businesses within the
- 12:02Speaker 3: festival sector, so she did have work commitments, but that
- 12:07Speaker 3: means to travel is within the guidelines. But again it's
- 12:09Speaker 3: as they say, does it meet the pop test? Does
- 12:12Speaker 3: it pass the pop test?
- 12:13Speaker 7: Well, no, it doesn't. And I'm not opposed to having
- 12:16Speaker 7: family reunion entitlements for MPs. I think it's important to
- 12:20Speaker 7: encourage one of the hard parts about being an MP
- 12:22Speaker 7: is time away from family. I don't oppose the concept
- 12:24Speaker 7: of it, but they're taking the mickey. Yeah, I mean, well,
- 12:27Speaker 7: going to a music fest, but well, yeah, too far,
- 12:29Speaker 7: go into a corporate box to watch the footy. I mean,
- 12:32Speaker 7: there are more sensible ways of applying this, And the
- 12:34Speaker 7: problem is that I suspect most MPs use this, use
- 12:37Speaker 7: this in a sensible way, but people like Anika Wells
- 12:40Speaker 7: and Sarah Hanson Young. By the way, these are the
- 12:42Speaker 7: social justice activists who say that you know, the top
- 12:44Speaker 7: end the town's getting you know too much, Well, they're
- 12:46Speaker 7: the ones that are ripping everybody else off and they're
- 12:48Speaker 7: ruining it for the people that do the right thing.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Well, Michael, but that would argue it's all within the guidelines,
- 12:53Speaker 3: so that done nothing wrong. It's an argument Anika Wells
- 12:56Speaker 3: has made, and then the Prime Minister and the treasure saying.
- 12:58Speaker 8: About that leaving a comp car outside the tennis for
- 13:02Speaker 8: ten hours is I think not just beyond the spirit,
- 13:05Speaker 8: but it may be beyond the law of this and
- 13:07Speaker 8: she'll have to pay that back hopefully. Similarly, going for
- 13:10Speaker 8: a feed in Paris for seventeen hundred dollars with some
- 13:14Speaker 8: staff I mean cross on some expensive absolutely pathetic and
- 13:17Speaker 8: marine Ferouki. You shouldn't forget her. She flew to the
- 13:22Speaker 8: disruptive rallys here in Melbourne three or four times with
- 13:27Speaker 8: using the family reunion thing too. So some of this
- 13:30Speaker 8: is boggy and should be submitted to the peaple.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Well, perhaps the guidelines need to be looked at, because
- 13:36Speaker 3: if all those examples you've mentioned are within the guidelines,
- 13:40Speaker 3: perhaps is the guidelines that need to be looked at.
- 13:43Speaker 4: Anika Wells has referred herself to.
- 13:46Speaker 3: The Independent Parliamentary Expenses Authority for an audit. Her spending
- 13:53Speaker 3: spree Dan was incredible. I mean, first heard about the
- 13:58Speaker 3: thirty thousand dollars plus per person and that was spent
- 14:00Speaker 3: just on AirFest in New York.
- 14:02Speaker 4: I don't know who book that.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Then we've got the birthday party in Adelaide that just
- 14:07Speaker 3: seemed to happily coincide with some meetings. She had planned
- 14:10Speaker 3: the family skiing trip that the taxpayer was paying for,
- 14:14Speaker 3: and as Michael said, having a com car waiting outside
- 14:19Speaker 3: the tennis waiting outside the NRL Grand Final for hours.
- 14:23Speaker 4: For her to watch it, get it to come back.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Well yeah, it seems to just be this sense of
- 14:30Speaker 3: entitlement that I think people are going to find really
- 14:32Speaker 3: quite disgusting at any time, let alone during a cost
- 14:36Speaker 3: of living crisis.
- 14:37Speaker 9: Well, that's right.
- 14:38Speaker 7: I think what's going to happen with this referral, though,
- 14:40Speaker 7: is they will find that it's within the guidelines, or
- 14:43Speaker 7: there might be one or two that are outside of it.
- 14:44Speaker 7: So she's kicked it into there to stop the media storm.
- 14:48Speaker 7: You're right, most of this is within the guidelines. That's
- 14:50Speaker 7: what this review is going to find and she knows
- 14:52Speaker 7: that that's why she's doing it. But the problem, as
- 14:54Speaker 7: you say, is the guidelines. What happens is I want
- 14:57Speaker 7: to go to the Melbourne Cup on a Tuesday. Therefore
- 15:00Speaker 7: APOOCA work meeting in on Monday.
- 15:02Speaker 4: It's not hard.
- 15:02Speaker 3: And that's why I think Attika Wells really faulted quite
- 15:07Speaker 3: spectacularly during that interview with on Sky News on Sunday
- 15:12Speaker 3: morning when she was asked about when did you know
- 15:15Speaker 3: about this birthday party?
- 15:16Speaker 4: You know what came first? The birthday party, Lanel.
- 15:18Speaker 8: It was devastating.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Andrew Colonel Absolutely, yeah, that was a big mistake for
- 15:24Speaker 3: her to go at B to B.
- 15:26Speaker 4: By Andrew Colonel.
- 15:27Speaker 3: She should have stuck to the ABC because he absolutely
- 15:31Speaker 3: exposed her and then she had nowhere to hide. Dan
- 15:34Speaker 3: Wildmichael Danby, thank you so much for your time. The
- 15:37Speaker 3: Family First Party is calling for an urgent independent investigation
- 15:41Speaker 3: into whether the ABC has breached its statutory charter after
- 15:45Speaker 3: it used taxpayer funds to achieve platinum status with the
- 15:49Speaker 3: trans lobby group ACON. Hundreds of businesses and government agencies
- 15:55Speaker 3: compete in acon's Workplace Equality Index, a sort of call
- 16:00Speaker 3: for its social credit system where companies earn points for
- 16:03Speaker 3: everything from providing gender neutral bathrooms and gender firming leave
- 16:08Speaker 3: to pronoun policing. The index ranks each organization out of
- 16:13Speaker 3: a score of two hundred on how they implement acon's policies.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Let's bring in Women's Foreign Australia Head of Advocacy, Stephanie Bastien.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Stephanie, the ABC has spent tens of.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Thousands of dollars, tens of thousands of our money implementing
- 16:30Speaker 3: acon's workplace demands.
- 16:34Speaker 10: Yes, and it's absolutely appalling.
- 16:36Speaker 11: I think that there needs to be a thorough investigation
- 16:39Speaker 11: from the board down.
- 16:40Speaker 10: When Kim Williams.
- 16:41Speaker 11: The chair of the board, took over, he said that
- 16:45Speaker 11: balancing diversity and impartiality was complex. Well, I'm sorry, no,
- 16:50Speaker 11: it's not complex. Diversity in this scenario is an ideology.
- 16:56Speaker 11: Impartiality would be reporting both sides of the ideology, but
- 17:00Speaker 11: they don't. They've written puff pieces on Michelle Telfer, but
- 17:03Speaker 11: they never reported on Justice Strum's damning findings that she
- 17:07Speaker 11: was disregarding evidence in the case of a twelve year
- 17:10Speaker 11: old boy that was being put on puberty blockers without
- 17:12Speaker 11: a diagnosis. They've posted photos supporting gender transitions. We saw
- 17:18Speaker 11: the picture at the start of the woman with the
- 17:19Speaker 11: double missectomy, Yet they've never reported on Mel Jeffries, who's
- 17:23Speaker 11: also had a double misseectomy and is now suing the
- 17:26Speaker 11: clinic that treated her. The problem is the ABC caters
- 17:31Speaker 11: to forty five percent of Australia's population. That is forty
- 17:34Speaker 11: that is millions of people that are viewing their news
- 17:37Speaker 11: across their platforms, and they are keeping them in the
- 17:39Speaker 11: dark so effectively. They are a mouthpiece for ACON and
- 17:44Speaker 11: they are promoting this ideology and Australians are kept in
- 17:47Speaker 11: the dark and they're paying for it.
- 17:48Speaker 10: It is absolutely appalling.
- 17:52Speaker 3: And Acon's influence, it's not just in the government sectay
- 17:57Speaker 3: in public organizations, also has enormous influence in the corporate world.
- 18:04Speaker 3: We've got the big banks, all sorts of other companies
- 18:08Speaker 3: that are signed up to this corporate social credit system
- 18:13Speaker 3: where they vy for points to show how woken progressive
- 18:17Speaker 3: they are.
- 18:19Speaker 10: Yeah, they've got their fingers in multiple pies.
- 18:21Speaker 11: They've got their fingers in education, they've got it in health,
- 18:25Speaker 11: they've got it in every workplace and a lot of
- 18:28Speaker 11: organizations have signed up to promote But as someone said
- 18:32Speaker 11: to me, a lot of these banks and law firms,
- 18:36Speaker 11: they do see the ideology as a hr nightmare, but
- 18:38Speaker 11: they still feel compelled to do the Purple Cupcake days
- 18:42Speaker 11: and all the rest of it. What it's doing, though,
- 18:46Speaker 11: is it's just promoting a very harmful ideology, and I
- 18:50Speaker 11: think that there needs to be more scrutiny on these
- 18:52Speaker 11: businesses and banks that are subscribing to ACON because the
- 18:56Speaker 11: harm that is being done to children is very real,
- 18:59Speaker 11: and they're going to invest in this program and they're
- 19:02Speaker 11: going to promote it through their businesses, then I think
- 19:04Speaker 11: customers should boycott.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Well.
- 19:08Speaker 3: It just shows that this entire movement, the power it has,
- 19:14Speaker 3: it's not organic. It's not some sort of grassroots where
- 19:17Speaker 3: the population has sort of changed its mind. It is
- 19:20Speaker 3: all very deliberate and well funded, often by us indirectly.
- 19:28Speaker 3: So I think that's been very interesting with the Australian
- 19:33Speaker 3: newspapers reporting on Acorn in recent days. Now let's talk
- 19:37Speaker 3: about Binary Australia spokesperson Curly Smith. She's been ordered to
- 19:42Speaker 3: pay ninety five thousand dollars in fines and also issue
- 19:45Speaker 3: a public apology after she was found to have vilified
- 19:49Speaker 3: to trans women. That's biological men identifying as women. It
- 19:54Speaker 3: marks the first time someone has been found to have
- 19:57Speaker 3: unlawfully vilified a person for being trans underneath South Wales law.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Now Curly Smith broadcast where two trans athletes had played
- 20:07Speaker 3: their matches to a social media followers. Deputy Chief Magistrate
- 20:11Speaker 3: Sharon Frowned said online posts made in bad faith that
- 20:16Speaker 3: inside hatred, serious contempt or severe ridicule, regardless of the
- 20:22Speaker 3: harm it causes, cannot be disguised as political communication. Not
- 20:28Speaker 3: only is the argument baseless, it's against the law. Stephanie,
- 20:33Speaker 3: what's your view of this case.
- 20:36Speaker 11: I have enormous reservations and concerns about how the magistrate
- 20:41Speaker 11: came to these findings and draw a comparison to the Olympics. Now,
- 20:46Speaker 11: we've all watched the distress by female boxers when they
- 20:51Speaker 11: were confronted with having to play against calif and ting
- 20:55Speaker 11: the campaign, and the posts that so that Caraly Smith
- 20:58Speaker 11: put out there were not dissimilar. Was simply highlighting the
- 21:01Speaker 11: harms of biological men competing in women's football. That she
- 21:05Speaker 11: didn't name any of the players, she did share photos
- 21:08Speaker 11: of their teams, but her point was to present real
- 21:10Speaker 11: life examples of biological men competing in female sport. Now,
- 21:16Speaker 11: the judge didn't say that anything she had said specifically
- 21:19Speaker 11: incited harm, but the posts incited fear and vilification against
- 21:25Speaker 11: trans people, particularly these players.
- 21:29Speaker 10: Of course, with that then what is apparent.
- 21:34Speaker 11: Is that even if you don't vilify, you can be
- 21:36Speaker 11: found even if you're talking about this issue. So I
- 21:39Speaker 11: have enormous reservations about how she came to this judgment.
- 21:44Speaker 11: I think if we cannot talk about real life examples,
- 21:46Speaker 11: if we cannot present the evidence in the public or
- 21:48Speaker 11: in the dark, and they don't know, so I think
- 21:50Speaker 11: this judgment's wrong, and I really hope that she is
- 21:52Speaker 11: successful we able to appeal it.
- 21:57Speaker 4: In my mind, it is sinister because you're right.
- 22:01Speaker 3: If you can't talk about real life examples that are
- 22:04Speaker 3: happening right now, you then have the argument from the activists, well,
- 22:09Speaker 3: your concerns are unfounded.
- 22:11Speaker 4: This is all just hypotheticals. This sort of thing isn't
- 22:15Speaker 4: even happening.
- 22:15Speaker 3: If it is happening, it's not causing any harm. And
- 22:19Speaker 3: when you actually present examples and say no, there are
- 22:21Speaker 3: people who have issues with this, There are other athletes
- 22:24Speaker 3: who may have issues that maybe when it's younger people,
- 22:28Speaker 3: parents who have issues, then you can fall into being
- 22:32Speaker 3: accused of vilifying someone or subjecting them perhaps to ridicule.
- 22:38Speaker 3: This is just you wouldn't even call it censorship. It's
- 22:43Speaker 3: deeper than that. This is just suppressing facts and debate
- 22:49Speaker 3: that is necessary.
- 22:50Speaker 4: And I am just absolutely shocked. If we've got a
- 22:53Speaker 4: judgment like.
- 22:54Speaker 3: This from some other corners of the world, I think
- 22:57Speaker 3: we'd be sitting here a shocked that that could happen.
- 23:00Speaker 3: What's happening right now in our own country. Stephanie Bastian,
- 23:03Speaker 3: thank you so much for your time tonight. Coming up,
- 23:08Speaker 3: Lefties Losing It and we'll look at the victim playing
- 23:11Speaker 3: of the most inept governor in the US, Corey DeAngelis
- 23:16Speaker 3: is coming up next.
- 23:28Speaker 4: You're watching the Riada Panecky Show, and it's time for
- 23:30Speaker 4: Lefty's Losing It.
- 23:32Speaker 3: It's a fine time to have a look at the
- 23:34Speaker 3: leftist mainstream media and workout just why trust in these
- 23:39Speaker 3: institutions is at record lows. I wonder if CNN's Jake
- 23:43Speaker 3: Tapper has any ideas on why Americans trust used car
- 23:48Speaker 3: salesman more than the media.
- 23:50Speaker 12: And the FBI finally announced that they had arrested a
- 23:53Speaker 12: suspect a suspect accused of planting pipe bonds near the
- 23:57Speaker 12: Republican and Democratic National Committee headquarters then before the January sixth,
- 24:01Speaker 12: twenty twenty one capital attack. Brian Cole Junior, a thirty
- 24:06Speaker 12: year old white man from the DC Suburbs, is charged
- 24:08Speaker 12: with transporting and explosive devise.
- 24:12Speaker 4: Ah say what now, Jake?
- 24:15Speaker 3: A thirty year old white man from the DC suburbs.
- 24:19Speaker 4: That's what she said. Is this a white man?
- 24:21Speaker 3: According to CNN, But then we shouldn't be surprised because CNN,
- 24:26Speaker 3: including Jake Tapper, push the Fine People hoax against Donald
- 24:30Speaker 3: Trump for four years, not to mention every other debunked hoax,
- 24:34Speaker 3: including the Russian collusion hoax. Also on CNN, we have
- 24:38Speaker 3: this woman, Ashley Allison claiming this individual is some MAGA
- 24:43Speaker 3: supporter and saying we're all surprised he is not white.
- 24:47Speaker 13: I'm just gonna I'm gonna say the thing out loud
- 24:49Speaker 13: that I think everyone is not saying and is actually surprised,
- 24:52Speaker 13: and why I think Janine Pirol is actually saying it.
- 24:55Speaker 13: I think the fact that this man is a black
- 24:56Speaker 13: man was surprising the people. I think people thought this
- 24:59Speaker 13: would go.
- 25:00Speaker 14: To be a white man.
- 25:00Speaker 4: That did this, they were going to be able to
- 25:02Speaker 4: say he.
- 25:02Speaker 13: Was a part of the progressive left. And the fact
- 25:04Speaker 13: that there's a black man that is saying I too
- 25:06Speaker 13: was susceptible to conspiracy theorists that the president and conservative
- 25:11Speaker 13: podcasts were pushing that this election was stolen is a
- 25:15Speaker 13: fact that they were not expecting. And now everyone is
- 25:18Speaker 13: on their heels and they're trying to spin it.
- 25:20Speaker 3: The only one spinning it is you Love and your
- 25:22Speaker 3: fellow political activists at CNN, including Abby Philip, who even
- 25:27Speaker 3: tried to push the notion that this alleged offending was
- 25:30Speaker 3: no different to January sixth political prisoners, many of whom
- 25:33Speaker 3: were guilty of nothing more than trespassing.
- 25:37Speaker 4: Watch Isabel Brown's school abbey on her own show.
- 25:41Speaker 2: I do wonder if he had been actually caught around
- 25:45Speaker 2: the time of January sixth and prosecuted, would he have
- 25:47Speaker 2: been included with in Trump's pardons.
- 25:49Speaker 15: I mean, okay, this is absolutely beyond the pale to me,
- 25:52Speaker 15: to be honest, to claim that we don't know any
- 25:54Speaker 15: sort of inkling of a motive of this individual, when
- 25:57Speaker 15: just a few months prior, there was a lawsuit ruled
- 25:59Speaker 15: in the Trump administration's favor against this particular individual for
- 26:03Speaker 15: his company seeking to let illegal immigrants out of prison
- 26:07Speaker 15: on bail.
- 26:07Speaker 2: But it's called the hypothetic individual, So it's called the hypothetical.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Had he been prosecuted alongside all of those other people
- 26:14Speaker 2: who were involved in violent acts on January sixth, would
- 26:17Speaker 2: Donald Trump have pardoned him?
- 26:19Speaker 15: No, because individuals who were why not the Capitol Building
- 26:22Speaker 15: on January sixth, were not planting pipe bombs.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Oh, Abby do better.
- 26:26Speaker 3: But we shouldn't be surprised by Abby philipp being a
- 26:29Speaker 3: hard lift activist. She did, after all, go on joy
- 26:33Speaker 3: Raids podcasts and agreed with pretty much everything joylists had
- 26:37Speaker 3: to say.
- 26:37Speaker 4: And Joy's backspewing wul venom listen to.
- 26:41Speaker 5: This, and you know, having been inside of a Republican
- 26:44Speaker 5: national convention and had that vibe from a senior citizen,
- 26:48Speaker 5: someone's grandma, but whose glee was directed towards some of
- 26:54Speaker 5: the most heinous ideas you could imagine, right, you know,
- 26:58Speaker 5: sort of gleeful towards sort of returning to nineteen thirties Germany,
- 27:01Speaker 5: not even the United States. Like I know that it's real.
- 27:04Speaker 5: I actually think that what those people wanted and what
- 27:09Speaker 5: Donald Trump is delivering is ethnic cleansing.
- 27:11Speaker 3: You know that woman needs a padded cell and a
- 27:15Speaker 3: straight jacket, not a microphone reminder. Joy is so loopy
- 27:19Speaker 3: and hard left that even MSNBC sactor. But for Abby Phillip,
- 27:24Speaker 3: she's a perfectly sound and let's not forget Abby Philip
- 27:29Speaker 3: also had this next.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Shrieky charlatan on her program.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Not only is Jennifer Welch uniquely awful and hate filled,
- 27:37Speaker 3: she's also a bald faced liar.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Elon Musk, who I want to remind everybody that's against
- 27:43Speaker 1: immigration is an immigrant. I just think it's really important
- 27:47Speaker 1: to remind everybody all the time that Elon Musk is
- 27:49Speaker 1: an immigrant that doesn't pay taxes, who is a parasite
- 27:52Speaker 1: off the American taxpayer.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Oh dear, every American knows Elon Musk is an immigrant, Jennifer,
- 27:58Speaker 3: But did you just claim the man who provides hundreds
- 28:02Speaker 3: of thousands of jobs and contributes tens of billions in
- 28:06Speaker 3: salaries is a parasite. The man who went into space
- 28:11Speaker 3: to rescue astronauts is a parasite. The man who sped
- 28:14Speaker 3: over forty billion to buy Twitter to help preserve free
- 28:17Speaker 3: speech it wasn't a business decision. Here's a parasite as
- 28:22Speaker 3: for your lives about Elon not paying taxes.
- 28:24Speaker 4: The truth is, not only does he.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Pay tax, including personal income tax, but it's the most
- 28:30Speaker 3: tax anyone has ever paid in the US, around twelve billion,
- 28:35Speaker 3: and that was just in twenty twenty one. Now to ABC,
- 28:38Speaker 3: and here we watch another anchor be embarrassed on his
- 28:41Speaker 3: own show, this time by Eric Schmidt, Senator for Missouri,
- 28:46Speaker 3: who points out why Democrat.
- 28:47Speaker 4: Operative George Stiffanopoulos, Well, why his show is failing in
- 28:52Speaker 4: the ratings.
- 28:53Speaker 16: It's been front page news across the country. Aren't you
- 28:56Speaker 16: curious about that?
- 28:58Speaker 17: Well, I'm curious about your push back on that particular point.
- 29:01Speaker 9: With your previous guest.
- 29:02Speaker 16: You had zero pushback because he's giving the Democrat talking
- 29:05Speaker 16: points like U spew every single week, which is probably
- 29:07Speaker 16: why your readings are so bad.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Now, Minnesota governor and failed vice presidential candidate Tim Walls
- 29:14Speaker 3: is continuing to whine about President Trump, calling him and
- 29:18Speaker 3: I quote seriously retarded. He claims that people are now
- 29:22Speaker 3: driving past his house calling him that wants to boo
- 29:26Speaker 3: word and that may lead to violence.
- 29:30Speaker 16: I'd never seen this before, people driving my pause by
- 29:32Speaker 16: my house and using the R word in front of people.
- 29:35Speaker 16: This is shameful. And I have yet to see an
- 29:39Speaker 16: elected official, a Republican elected official, say you're right. That's shameful.
- 29:42Speaker 16: He should not say it. So look, I'm worried. We
- 29:44Speaker 16: know how these things go. They start with tans, they
- 29:47Speaker 16: turn to violence. So deeply concerned.
- 29:50Speaker 3: This is the same inept governor who was wishing death
- 29:54Speaker 3: on Donald Trump not too long ago. Because I think
- 29:56Speaker 3: we've forgotten about that and that with memory hold his
- 30:00Speaker 3: comments lightning a Trump rally at Madison Square Garden to
- 30:04Speaker 3: a Nazi rally?
- 30:06Speaker 4: Do you think that could have inspired violence? Tin Walls?
- 30:10Speaker 16: And I think some of you don't miss on this.
- 30:11Speaker 16: Go do your google on this. Donald Trump's got this
- 30:14Speaker 16: big rally going at Madison Square Garden. There's a direct
- 30:18Speaker 16: parallel to a big rally that happened in the mid
- 30:20Speaker 16: nineteen thirties at Madison Square Garden. And don't think that
- 30:24Speaker 16: he doesn't know for one second exactly what they're doing there.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Joining me now is American Culture Project senior fellow Corey DeAngelis. Corey,
- 30:33Speaker 3: if Tim Walls thinks he can play the victim after
- 30:37Speaker 3: overseeing the mass fraud that has occurred in his state,
- 30:42Speaker 3: then he's a bigger fool than we thought. What happened
- 30:45Speaker 3: in Minnesota is utterly shameful.
- 30:49Speaker 17: Yeah, look, he's trying to deflect here. He's a total failure.
- 30:52Speaker 17: He's a political failure, speaking of violence. He was basically
- 30:55Speaker 17: the death knell for the Kamala Harris campaign. They committed
- 30:59Speaker 17: a political suicide when they picked Tim Walls.
- 31:02Speaker 9: To be VP.
- 31:03Speaker 17: I mean, he's a who thought he was going to
- 31:06Speaker 17: mobilize the young male vote, for example, tampon Tim, That's
- 31:10Speaker 17: the perfect person to pick in order to get Trump
- 31:14Speaker 17: into the White House. So good job Kamala Harris campaign.
- 31:17Speaker 17: But yeah, in Minnesota, they had three hundred million dollars
- 31:21Speaker 17: that was supposed to go to kids to feed them
- 31:24Speaker 17: during the COVID era and it was fraudulently spent apparently.
- 31:28Speaker 17: So Tim Walls is obviously trying to deflect here. He's
- 31:32Speaker 17: clutching his pearls, you know, for him to make a
- 31:36Speaker 17: do a press conference about this, and oh my goodness,
- 31:38Speaker 17: Trump called me the R word. That only really upsets
- 31:41Speaker 17: you if it has a little bit of a truth
- 31:43Speaker 17: to it. So maybe he's admitting something personal about himself.
- 31:48Speaker 9: But I think the.
- 31:50Speaker 17: Real story here is that he's trying to deflect. He's
- 31:53Speaker 17: clutching his pearls, trying to point it Trump and trying
- 31:56Speaker 17: to whip up the base against his political opponents. But
- 32:00Speaker 17: you know, this responsibility falls on him. This happened under
- 32:03Speaker 17: his watch, with the fraud in his state, and look,
- 32:06Speaker 17: he's a political failure. So hopefully people will forget about
- 32:10Speaker 17: him sooner than later.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Well, the scale of the fraud is quite astonishing that
- 32:18Speaker 3: we're talking about a billion dollars. Now, there's figures emerging
- 32:22Speaker 3: of three four five billion, So at some point we'll
- 32:26Speaker 3: get a clear picture of how much was just squandered there. Now, Corey,
- 32:31Speaker 3: I want to ask you about my favorite story of
- 32:34Speaker 3: the day. This is just it's almost like a comedy sketch.
- 32:37Speaker 4: This. This is the Soccer World Cup.
- 32:39Speaker 3: We know it's going to be North America in twenty
- 32:41Speaker 3: twenty six, and naturally, the leftist city of Seattle wants
- 32:47Speaker 3: to host a pride game to celebrate the LGBTQIA plus
- 32:52Speaker 3: plus community. And let's see who FIFA scheduled for this game. Yes,
- 32:57Speaker 3: it's Iran, where homosexuality is illegal and even carries the
- 33:02Speaker 3: death sentence, and Iran was drawn to play against Egypt,
- 33:07Speaker 3: another country where homosexuality is illegal and carries a prison
- 33:11Speaker 3: term of up to three years.
- 33:14Speaker 4: How did this happen? Corey?
- 33:16Speaker 9: I mean, it's beyond parody. Right.
- 33:17Speaker 17: That was a Daily Wire article that I read about this,
- 33:19Speaker 17: but I thought it was a headline from the Babylon
- 33:22Speaker 17: b This can't be true, can't it?
- 33:24Speaker 9: But look, it really reminds me of.
- 33:26Speaker 17: The horseshoe theory of politics, where you had the far
- 33:29Speaker 17: left loonies in Seattle basically siding with the far right
- 33:33Speaker 17: who might not be happy about countries like Iran in
- 33:37Speaker 17: Egypt right now, kind of locking arms on this issue.
- 33:41Speaker 9: But really, who kind of scheduled this? I don't know.
- 33:46Speaker 17: They say that it was pre scheduled and it kind
- 33:49Speaker 17: of just turned out this way.
- 33:51Speaker 9: It was a coincidence.
- 33:51Speaker 17: It was either a big coincidence or the far left
- 33:55Speaker 17: was really trying to piss off Iran An Egypt.
- 33:57Speaker 9: But you know, maybe Iran and.
- 33:58Speaker 17: Egypt will pull out of the World Cup, but no
- 34:01Speaker 17: one will miss them.
- 34:01Speaker 9: It's not like they were going far anyway.
- 34:05Speaker 4: No, I don't think they're going to be pulling out
- 34:07Speaker 4: of the World Cup. It's a pretty big deal.
- 34:09Speaker 3: The Egyptian Football Association has already sent a formal letter
- 34:14Speaker 3: to FIFA requesting this this Lgbtqia plus Pride match a
- 34:20Speaker 3: celebration at the World Cup not go ahead, so they
- 34:23Speaker 3: can just play a regular game without any of that
- 34:27Speaker 3: political messaging.
- 34:28Speaker 4: We'll see what happens there now. Corey told me about
- 34:30Speaker 4: what is What else is.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Happening in Washington State. There's female students. They're fighting for
- 34:37Speaker 3: a ballot initiative to protect girls' sports, and there's also
- 34:41Speaker 3: another initiative to strengthen parental rights after Washington State past
- 34:46Speaker 3: legislation that removed the requirement for parents to receive notice
- 34:50Speaker 3: when their children receive non emergency medical services at school.
- 34:56Speaker 3: That just seems incredible that your child could be receiving
- 34:59Speaker 3: some of medical care. I don't know, perhaps some sort
- 35:04Speaker 3: of hormones or puberty blockers, and the parents aren't advised.
- 35:10Speaker 3: What's likely to happen in these cases.
- 35:13Speaker 17: Yeah, the lunatics of the teachers unions are trying to
- 35:15Speaker 17: keep secrets from parents. And guess what, there's these two
- 35:18Speaker 17: initiatives that are probably going to make it onto the ballot.
- 35:20Speaker 17: It looks like they're going to have enough signatures to
- 35:22Speaker 17: restore rental rights and education and protect girl sports keep
- 35:26Speaker 17: boys out of girl sports. These are eighty twenty issues
- 35:28Speaker 17: on the side of the Republicans. Let's see if they
- 35:30Speaker 17: can get it done in a deep blue state controlled
- 35:33Speaker 17: by Democrats and teachers unions in Washington.
- 35:36Speaker 9: It'll be a very unique test case.
- 35:38Speaker 17: But the teachers union, the Washington Education Association, is the
- 35:42Speaker 17: main opponent of these two initiatives. They don't want to
- 35:45Speaker 17: put it to the ballot. They know they're going to lose,
- 35:47Speaker 17: so they're starting an initiative of themselves to stop people
- 35:51Speaker 17: from signing the sheets in order to get it on
- 35:56Speaker 17: the ballot in November of twenty twenty six. So there's
- 35:59Speaker 17: events held right now by LESCo Washington, the main group
- 36:03Speaker 17: in favor of protecting girls sports and printal rights and education.
- 36:07Speaker 17: And there was a recent event where you had high
- 36:09Speaker 17: school girls basically speaking out saying there was a boy
- 36:13Speaker 17: in my locker room.
- 36:14Speaker 9: This didn't make any sense and it's unsafe.
- 36:16Speaker 17: And so it's really a shame that the dads haven't
- 36:19Speaker 17: really stepped up in stronger numbers. It's a shame that
- 36:23Speaker 17: the girls themselves had to come out and say, you
- 36:26Speaker 17: know what, adult shouldn't pressure young girls to undress in front.
- 36:30Speaker 9: Of boys and men. I mean, this is just common
- 36:33Speaker 9: sense stuff.
- 36:35Speaker 17: But the liberal lunatics have gone so far off the
- 36:37Speaker 17: deep end, and the teachers' unions are dragging them down
- 36:41Speaker 17: every step of the way. But hopefully parents will win
- 36:43Speaker 17: this case in Washington and it'll laya blueprint for other
- 36:47Speaker 17: Blue states to go forward and do the right thing
- 36:49Speaker 17: as well.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Now, before you go, Corey, I want to play this
- 36:52Speaker 3: exchange between Alex Brucewitz and a journalist at the Doha
- 36:57Speaker 3: Forum a few days ago.
- 36:59Speaker 4: This was all about the stolen election narrative.
- 37:03Speaker 18: And Alex, no matter how many times you've repeat that
- 37:06Speaker 18: there was a rig election, there's no evidence of that.
- 37:09Speaker 4: But anyway, in my question.
- 37:12Speaker 18: Very Confiden saying there is no evidence of a rigged election.
- 37:14Speaker 18: Are you familiar with a guy named Hunter Biden. Well,
- 37:17Speaker 18: if you're not familiar, he was Joe Biden's son, and
- 37:20Speaker 18: he liked to have relations with prostitutes and filming and
- 37:23Speaker 18: put it on a laptop. He'd liked to do crack
- 37:25Speaker 18: cocaine and filming and put it on a laptop, and
- 37:28Speaker 18: everybody in the legacy media. They said that is something
- 37:31Speaker 18: called Russian disinformation. It wasn't Russian disinformation. That was a
- 37:35Speaker 18: true laptop. Nobody in the media covered it, and if
- 37:38Speaker 18: you posted about it on social media, he got censored
- 37:41Speaker 18: and lost your account. And so after the election it
- 37:44Speaker 18: came out and they said, if you knew that laptop
- 37:47Speaker 18: was real, would you have voted for Joe Biden. Twenty
- 37:50Speaker 18: percent of people who voted for Joe Biden said they
- 37:52Speaker 18: wouldn't have done so. So if you're talking about just
- 37:55Speaker 18: one aspect that's called.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Rigging election, Corey, that isn't even begin to cover the
- 38:02Speaker 3: money that they spent fortifying the election. As as Time
- 38:07Speaker 3: magazine put it, tell me about this ongoing debate about
- 38:13Speaker 3: the twenty twenty election and the many ways in which
- 38:18Speaker 3: that election result was influenced.
- 38:22Speaker 17: Yeah, I like how that questioner at the Doha Forum
- 38:24Speaker 17: was basically tried to slide that in there there's no
- 38:27Speaker 17: evidence of a rigged election. Then he tried to ask
- 38:29Speaker 17: some other question. Good thing on Alex for calling him
- 38:32Speaker 17: out and setting the record screen. I mean the New
- 38:34Speaker 17: York Post I remember on Twitter at the time before
- 38:37Speaker 17: Elon Musk was in charge and changed it over to x.
- 38:40Speaker 17: You couldn't even post that New York Post article. It
- 38:43Speaker 17: would just it wouldn't allow you to do it. So
- 38:45Speaker 17: that is interference in the election. And so you know,
- 38:48Speaker 17: it goes so many layers deeper than that. But at
- 38:51Speaker 17: the end of the day, I'm kind of happy that
- 38:53Speaker 17: Trump didn't win the twenty twenty election because now we
- 38:56Speaker 17: have Trump two point zero. You know, you only get
- 38:58Speaker 17: two four year terms in America, and so I'm glad
- 39:03Speaker 17: he's president right now, and he's, you know, after all
- 39:06Speaker 17: that's happened to him and the election being storm from
- 39:08Speaker 17: him in twenty twenty, he's kind of gone, you know,
- 39:11Speaker 17: full thritle now. And I think we've gotten even more
- 39:14Speaker 17: in bold than Trump than we would have beforehand.
- 39:19Speaker 3: I think you're right there, and you've got a fast,
- 39:21Speaker 3: sounder administration. He's got much better people around him. I
- 39:25Speaker 3: think one of the greatest mistakes of his first term
- 39:28Speaker 3: was some of the judgment calls he made in the
- 39:30Speaker 3: people he put in positions. And this time around, he
- 39:34Speaker 3: seems to have everyone on the same team going in
- 39:37Speaker 3: the one direction.
- 39:38Speaker 4: Cory D'Angelis, thank you so much for your time tonight.
- 39:41Speaker 9: Hey, thanks Reto. Good talking to you.
- 39:43Speaker 3: Still to come the latest unhinged attacks against Milania Trump.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Ddie Dunlevy is up next. Welcome back, joining me now
- 40:02Speaker 3: as broadcaster de d dun Levy, Diddy, Let's talk about
- 40:06Speaker 3: Milania Trump. They're finding new and increasingly desperate ways to
- 40:11Speaker 3: attack the First Lady. She has even been criticized now
- 40:14Speaker 3: online for reading to a group of young children without
- 40:18Speaker 3: showing them the pictures.
- 40:21Speaker 4: Did he The First.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Lady was at the Children's National Hospital and read how
- 40:26Speaker 3: does Santa Go down the Chimney to the children?
- 40:29Speaker 4: But I don't know. Some folk online were upset.
- 40:33Speaker 14: Yeah, upset and really nasty.
- 40:35Speaker 19: I think one person described her as looking like she
- 40:37Speaker 19: was dressed like a funeral director. Look, they snipe and
- 40:41Speaker 19: snipe and snipe at Donald Trump, and it just flows
- 40:44Speaker 19: off a film like teflon.
- 40:45Speaker 14: And thankfully the First Lady appears to.
- 40:48Speaker 19: Have that same quality where she can just let it
- 40:50Speaker 19: flow over her. She was doing something really sweet and kind.
- 40:53Speaker 19: She was upholding a long standing tradition, which is to
- 40:56Speaker 19: go and read to the children at that hospital at
- 40:59Speaker 19: Christmas time. And if I was one of the children
- 41:01Speaker 19: in that room and I was given the choice of
- 41:03Speaker 19: looking at a picture in a book, and of looking
- 41:05Speaker 19: at Milania Trump, I choose to look at Milania Trump.
- 41:08Speaker 19: So I don't imagine the children were upset at all,
- 41:11Speaker 19: and I applaught her. She genuinely cares about children. She
- 41:14Speaker 19: did that beautiful visit to the Scouts with Princess Catherine
- 41:17Speaker 19: when the Trumps were in the UK. She was a
- 41:20Speaker 19: quantico at a base, an Air Force base recently, looking
- 41:24Speaker 19: after the children of military families and giving them presents
- 41:27Speaker 19: as well. I don't think she would care at all
- 41:30Speaker 19: about these online attacks.
- 41:33Speaker 4: No, I don't think.
- 41:34Speaker 3: I think she has got that Donald Trump quality of
- 41:37Speaker 3: just having absolute disdain foremost of the media and the
- 41:42Speaker 3: trolls online.
- 41:43Speaker 4: Now footage has circulated.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Of France's First Lady, Virginia Macron, using a slur against
- 41:49Speaker 3: feminist activers who were interrupting the stand up show of
- 41:54Speaker 3: aarn Abatana, who was wearing masks of the actor and
- 41:59Speaker 3: shouty rapist at this performer. Abatan was accused of rape
- 42:04Speaker 3: back in twenty twenty one, but the case was dropped
- 42:07Speaker 3: in twenty twenty three.
- 42:10Speaker 4: Interesting here dda that Brigitte.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Is reported to have said in French, of course, if
- 42:15Speaker 3: there are any stupid bitches will kick them out, using
- 42:20Speaker 3: a vulgar expression in French. Well, this is quite a
- 42:25Speaker 3: turn up. I wasn't expecting this sort of work from
- 42:28Speaker 3: Bridget Macron.
- 42:29Speaker 19: Well, I am actually on her side in this, and
- 42:32Speaker 19: it doesn't mean I'm in favor of sexual assault, nor
- 42:35Speaker 19: does it mean that she is. I think what she's
- 42:37Speaker 19: getting at is that she, like a lot of people,
- 42:40Speaker 19: are probably sick of protesters interrupting shows where people have
- 42:44Speaker 19: paid their money to see a performer perform. We saw
- 42:46Speaker 19: it here in Australia when Jerry Seinfeld was performing in Melbourne.
- 42:50Speaker 19: Protesters got up during his show and heckled him and
- 42:53Speaker 19: had to go, and the crowd really did not have
- 42:55Speaker 19: a taste for it.
- 42:55Speaker 14: In fact, they booed the protesters out. So I think they.
- 42:59Speaker 19: Do themselves a service when they bob up in these
- 43:03Speaker 19: situations and put their interest in pushing their cause ahead
- 43:07Speaker 19: of what's probably best for most of the people, and
- 43:10Speaker 19: that is allowing them to enjoy the show that they
- 43:12Speaker 19: paid to see.
- 43:15Speaker 3: Now, Meghan Markle is planning to reach out to a
- 43:18Speaker 3: strange Dad Thomas a second time following his near death experience.
- 43:23Speaker 3: He had his leg amputated dds she was hoping to
- 43:26Speaker 3: get a letter to him as soon as she identified
- 43:29Speaker 3: the hospital where.
- 43:31Speaker 4: He's recovering DENI.
- 43:33Speaker 3: A source has told A source that's supposedly close to
- 43:37Speaker 3: Megan has told Page six that she had been calling
- 43:40Speaker 3: local hospitals to try to locate her father so that
- 43:44Speaker 3: this letter could be delivered to him.
- 43:46Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 43:47Speaker 19: Well, I called poppycock on most of this and a
- 43:49Speaker 19: letter like what is she having it delivered by pigeon?
- 43:52Speaker 19: This is just crazy in this day and age that
- 43:55Speaker 19: this woman who holds herself up and is happy to
- 43:58Speaker 19: be lauded as a founder and a great, successful, intelligent
- 44:02Speaker 19: woman cannot get a message to her father. Well, it's
- 44:05Speaker 19: probably close to a week now. I think it's unacceptable,
- 44:09Speaker 19: and I feel really sorry for him. He seems to
- 44:11Speaker 19: me to have been a very good and decent man.
- 44:13Speaker 19: I think he did most of the heavy lifting when
- 44:16Speaker 19: she was a young woman, raising her and taking her
- 44:19Speaker 19: on set, and she's spoken about that in years past,
- 44:22Speaker 19: about how she enjoyed going to work with her father,
- 44:25Speaker 19: So there was a good relationship there.
- 44:27Speaker 14: For whatever reason it has fallen apart.
- 44:30Speaker 19: I think she should She's obviously the one that's holding
- 44:33Speaker 19: out on him. He's desperate to see her, and she's
- 44:37Speaker 19: fumbling over ways to get in touch with him. It's
- 44:39Speaker 19: not that hard in this day and age. I don't
- 44:41Speaker 19: believe anything this woman says.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Well, yeah, he has been crying out to have some contact,
- 44:48Speaker 3: and when he was gravely ill, he was essentially begging
- 44:53Speaker 3: her to have one final meeting with him before he
- 44:56Speaker 3: passed away. Has never met the grandchildren either. She seems
- 45:01Speaker 3: to be a strange for her entire family other than
- 45:04Speaker 3: her mother, which in itself I think is fairly unusual.
- 45:09Speaker 3: Now this next story, this captivated people for a few weeks.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson seemed to be having a
- 45:18Speaker 3: bit of a romance. And Pamela Anderson has opened up
- 45:21Speaker 3: about this roller coaster romance with Liam Neeson.
- 45:26Speaker 4: She told people.
- 45:27Speaker 3: That they were romantically involved for a short while after
- 45:31Speaker 3: they finished filming a film together, and she said she
- 45:35Speaker 3: still adores Nissan, but they are better as friends.
- 45:38Speaker 4: Dedie, darn it.
- 45:41Speaker 19: I mean, I was like everyone else and we were
- 45:43Speaker 19: to use an expression and some people use, we're all
- 45:45Speaker 19: getting ahead of our skis. We all wanted this to
- 45:48Speaker 19: be to be the new romance. I mean, look, Liam
- 45:51Speaker 19: Neeson lost his wife, Natasha Richard's under really sad and
- 45:55Speaker 19: tragic circumstances. She died after a skiing accident some years ago,
- 46:00Speaker 19: So you know, we want him.
- 46:01Speaker 14: To be happy.
- 46:02Speaker 19: And Pammy, I think she's really sweet, if not the
- 46:04Speaker 19: sharpest tool in the shed, and I think was treated
- 46:08Speaker 19: horribly by the media with her whole relationship with Tommy
- 46:11Speaker 19: Lee and that sex tape that got released. So I
- 46:14Speaker 19: think we're all hoping that this would work, but I
- 46:17Speaker 19: don't think it's I don't think they're together. I think
- 46:20Speaker 19: she's saying we're just good friends. There was maybe something.
- 46:23Speaker 14: Hot and heavy.
- 46:24Speaker 19: However, hot and heavy you can get in year sixties
- 46:26Speaker 19: and seventies a pres short time.
- 46:28Speaker 14: But I don't think they're together.
- 46:32Speaker 3: I always thought it was a bit of a creation,
- 46:35Speaker 3: It was a pr exercise. It just boosted interest in
- 46:38Speaker 3: the film. It got so much publicity. I never sort
- 46:42Speaker 3: of bought that it was genuine. But maybe maybe I'm
- 46:45Speaker 3: too cynical. Now I want to.
- 46:48Speaker 4: Get closer to home.
- 46:49Speaker 3: You've uncovered some evidence that Cole's is going woke, or
- 46:54Speaker 3: they have been woke in recent years. Maybe they're staying woke.
- 46:58Speaker 3: Let's look at this Cole's Christmas book calling gingerbread men,
- 47:03Speaker 3: gingerbread people or gingerbread person? Did he seriously who is
- 47:07Speaker 3: offended by the term gingerbread men?
- 47:10Speaker 4: Because this was a conscious decision.
- 47:12Speaker 3: This wasn't just someone who forgot what these biscuits are called.
- 47:17Speaker 19: Well, Rita, I'm a woman, and I'm deeply offended that
- 47:20Speaker 19: I haven't been depicted as a biscuit with a bald
- 47:24Speaker 19: head and stumpy legs and gum drop buttons, which is
- 47:28Speaker 19: probably a unisex outfit anyway. No, I don't think anyone
- 47:32Speaker 19: was Why are they doing this? Why are they correcting
- 47:34Speaker 19: something that didn't need correcting? And it does matter because
- 47:37Speaker 19: all of these instances where language is changed, where we
- 47:42Speaker 19: refer to chest feeding, and that someone is assigned sex
- 47:47Speaker 19: at birth, all of these things that.
- 47:49Speaker 14: Are not real.
- 47:50Speaker 19: It kind of worms its way into our consciousness and
- 47:53Speaker 19: becomes part of you. That way of thinking, that woke
- 47:56Speaker 19: way of thinking that I don't find acceptable.
- 47:59Speaker 14: And whenever there is this sort of twisting of the.
- 48:02Speaker 19: English language to suit the work agenda, I think that
- 48:06Speaker 19: is harmful and I object to it.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Now before you go, just want to get your take
- 48:12Speaker 3: very quickly on Bonnie Blue who is under arrest in Bali,
- 48:17Speaker 3: and one of the people who reported her to the
- 48:20Speaker 3: police in Bali has told news dot com how and
- 48:23Speaker 3: why they did it. The only fans model Again, she's
- 48:27Speaker 3: not really on OnlyFans anymore. She is a online sex worker.
- 48:31Speaker 3: I think only fans dumbed her. But she's facing up
- 48:34Speaker 3: to fifteen years in jail, probably more.
- 48:37Speaker 4: Likely to be deported.
- 48:39Speaker 3: She was arrested on suspicion of breaching Indonesia's anti pornography laws,
- 48:44Speaker 3: and the individual who reported her said that the cops
- 48:48Speaker 3: at first couldn't even understand what was happening. We had
- 48:52Speaker 3: to explain it to them. They just couldn't comprehend it
- 48:55Speaker 3: did thankfully for you. You've only got about fifteen seconds.
- 48:59Speaker 4: What should happen to Bonnie Blue Well.
- 49:01Speaker 19: I think if you're in a country, you are bid
- 49:03Speaker 19: by its customs, and I absolutely back the Balinese people
- 49:07Speaker 19: who are very spiritual, who don't want to get a
- 49:09Speaker 19: reputation like Thailand or the Philippines as a dirty.
- 49:13Speaker 14: Sex whatever pit.
- 49:15Speaker 19: Whatever it is she's trying to convey with her antics,
- 49:18Speaker 19: I think she deserves to be punished.
- 49:21Speaker 3: Diddie dumleevy, thank you so much for your time and
- 49:24Speaker 3: that's it for me. I'll see you at eleven tomorrow
- 49:27Speaker 3: night with Douglas Murray. Up next, it's Newsnight.
