- 0:00Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 0:03Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 0:07Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 0:11Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 0:15Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 0:19Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 0:23Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 0:28Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 0:31Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 0:35Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 0:39Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 0:43Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 0:46Speaker 1: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 0:55Speaker 1: border and families will be protected.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 1:00Speaker 3: So I was sitting in Atlanta when I was on tour,
- 1:04Speaker 3: and I was talking to this guy and I was like,
- 1:07Speaker 3: you know, saying all these different things about where I
- 1:09Speaker 3: want to go, and he was like I said something
- 1:13Speaker 3: like I'm an African American man. We was talking about something.
- 1:16Speaker 3: He was like, oh, you've ever been to Africa? And
- 1:18Speaker 3: I was like nah. He was like, so you're an
- 1:21Speaker 3: African American man and you've never been to Africa.
- 1:24Speaker 4: And I was like damn.
- 1:28Speaker 3: And it hurt even more that a white dude said
- 1:31Speaker 3: it was like damn. So I said, I need to
- 1:33Speaker 3: go to Africa. So I started looking into, like, you know,
- 1:36Speaker 3: what I could do to go and all these different things.
- 1:38Speaker 3: So I got a homie named Iyo who's from Nigeria.
- 1:42Speaker 3: I met through my guy Frank shut out Frank, and
- 1:46Speaker 3: Io was telling me he was actually getting ready to
- 1:50Speaker 3: go back over there and do some things for the kids,
- 1:53Speaker 3: and you know, telling me how like everybody comes over
- 1:57Speaker 3: there and they usually bring like clothes or money, but
- 2:00Speaker 3: they never really bring things to help these kids or whatever.
- 2:04Speaker 3: So I was like, man, let's go, Like I'm down
- 2:07Speaker 3: to go. So we all go over there, and immediately
- 2:11Speaker 3: when we get over there, we realized, like, well right
- 2:14Speaker 3: before we kind of knew like it was a they're
- 2:18Speaker 3: not as advanced in technology as we are over here,
- 2:22Speaker 3: right as far like they got computers and different things
- 2:25Speaker 3: like that, but they don't have it in abundance like
- 2:27Speaker 3: we do. So we was already talking about bringing laptops
- 2:32Speaker 3: over there for the kids. But I got a homegirl
- 2:34Speaker 3: who works in AI. She has a dope program, and
- 2:37Speaker 3: we was like we could put onto the laptops where
- 2:39Speaker 3: it could help the kids learn to navigate through the
- 2:41Speaker 3: computer faster. So we go over there, Bro, and immediately, Doug,
- 2:48Speaker 3: when I get over there, it was like a culture shock.
- 2:53Speaker 3: It was like a real culture shock because the first
- 2:55Speaker 3: thing is so hot.
- 2:59Speaker 5: At the airport. Bro, the airport like a bus term
- 3:02Speaker 5: of no disrespect. But I'll let you finish. But we
- 3:04Speaker 5: got a story all right, Bro.
- 3:08Speaker 3: It was so hot to where immediately like it make
- 3:11Speaker 3: you take the labels off. You feel like you're not
- 3:15Speaker 3: You're not worried about getting fly every day. Nah, you
- 3:17Speaker 3: ain't worried about your outfit. You ain't worried about that.
- 3:20Speaker 3: So that process puts you in humanity, you know what
- 3:25Speaker 3: I'm saying. So now you moving like how you don't
- 3:28Speaker 3: have to move over here. A lot of it over
- 3:30Speaker 3: here is about elitists and status and all these different things.
- 3:34Speaker 3: What kind of shoes you got on over there is like,
- 3:37Speaker 3: you know what you really contributing to her people? You
- 3:40Speaker 3: know what I mean, Like, how are you helping us
- 3:42Speaker 3: as a people? So I get over there, man, and
- 3:45Speaker 3: I'm moving through. So we were staying on the island
- 3:48Speaker 3: and then we were going to the mainland every day.
- 3:50Speaker 3: So he going into the mainland and I'm seeing just
- 3:53Speaker 3: like cows and like people just like selling everything they
- 3:58Speaker 3: could find and like doing all the different things. So
- 4:01Speaker 3: I met this kid kids in front of the story's
- 4:05Speaker 3: rapping or whatever. I'm like, daan, this kid kind of dope.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I ended up posting the kid or whatever. Yeah, posted
- 4:11Speaker 3: them and went up. Everybody in Nigeria start start tagging
- 4:18Speaker 3: them everything, right, so I immediately start getting hit Yo,
- 4:21Speaker 3: we want you to come to this radio station.
- 4:23Speaker 6: Yo.
- 4:23Speaker 3: He wants you to come to this thing, like, Yo,
- 4:25Speaker 3: we want you to come to Africa today. It's like
- 4:28Speaker 3: to see and in Africa over there. So now I'm
- 4:30Speaker 3: on a press run, you know what I mean. I'm
- 4:33Speaker 3: on an organic press run, just like literally went there
- 4:36Speaker 3: to see the city. I'm on a press run and
- 4:39Speaker 3: I'm bringing Lucky with me, bringing them with me, talking
- 4:43Speaker 3: about everything. So on the first day, we go do
- 4:46Speaker 3: some interviews, and I'm like, man, I'm hungry. So we
- 4:49Speaker 3: go over to this restaurant across the street. We get
- 4:52Speaker 3: some food and I'm like what you want to eat?
- 4:55Speaker 3: And he like like, I don't know, you know what
- 5:01Speaker 3: I mean? Like, I'm like what you mean?
- 5:03Speaker 6: So my home? He like, Look, you ever ate at
- 5:06Speaker 6: a restaurant? He like no?
- 5:09Speaker 3: How was he fourteen? He was like, you ever had
- 5:13Speaker 3: a hamburger? And he was like no, it was like
- 5:17Speaker 3: pretty much like east Rice and like these things called
- 5:20Speaker 3: bones every day, which is like these like small chicken uh,
- 5:24Speaker 3: like they like chicken gizzards kind of. So we get
- 5:30Speaker 3: him a hamburger, bro, And I watched him meet the
- 5:32Speaker 3: hamburger and it immediately made me just be like, Bro,
- 5:35Speaker 3: we got life fucked up. We got life fucked up
- 5:40Speaker 3: over here.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Bro.
- 5:41Speaker 3: We be so consumed with the bullshit to where it's
- 5:44Speaker 3: like we don't even really see the life in front
- 5:47Speaker 3: of us. So from that day, from when I seen that,
- 5:51Speaker 3: I just started living in it, bro, you know what
- 5:54Speaker 3: I mean? Like, I just start going where the people
- 5:57Speaker 3: was at. If people was hitting me, like yo, you
- 5:59Speaker 3: got this going on? I'm like I'm pulling up the
- 6:02Speaker 3: veto had a concert, I pulled up, he brought me
- 6:05Speaker 3: out on stage.
- 6:06Speaker 6: You know.
- 6:06Speaker 3: So one thing I noticed was just like the love
- 6:11Speaker 3: I'm doing all this movement. I ain't looked over my
- 6:14Speaker 3: shoulder one time. I ain't feel like nobody was about
- 6:17Speaker 3: to rob me.
- 6:17Speaker 6: One time.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I ain't feel like nobody was finna take my jury
- 6:21Speaker 3: or do something to my son.
- 6:23Speaker 6: Not one time.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Now they gonna ask you for some money, They're gonna.
- 6:27Speaker 6: Ask you for some money, you know what I mean.
- 6:29Speaker 4: I saw when you pulled up with the vans.
- 6:31Speaker 6: Yeah, they gonna ask you for a little money.
- 6:32Speaker 3: But it wasn't like I felt threatened if I didn't
- 6:35Speaker 3: give him any you know what I mean? It was
- 6:38Speaker 3: just like God, like this is this is how it
- 6:41Speaker 3: should feel with us amongst our people. It shouldn't feel
- 6:46Speaker 3: like I gotta have a gun to go to this
- 6:48Speaker 3: spot because Bro might take my chain, or I gotta
- 6:51Speaker 3: park my car over here, because you know, like it
- 6:54Speaker 3: didn't feel like that now. One time it just felt
- 6:56Speaker 3: like love. So it just really put me in a
- 7:00Speaker 3: space Bro of like living and just letting life happen
- 7:03Speaker 3: instead of trying to make it happen.
- 7:05Speaker 7: How long was you there for?
- 7:06Speaker 4: Two weeks.
- 7:07Speaker 6: Was there for two weeks.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I was supposed to go to Ghana the second week,
- 7:11Speaker 3: and then I just fell in love with the people
- 7:14Speaker 3: in Nigeria. I was like, Bro, I'm staying here. Fuck it,
- 7:18Speaker 3: I'm from here with the people.
- 7:20Speaker 4: You said something.
- 7:21Speaker 8: So is that what you found because you said this quote,
- 7:25Speaker 8: you said that we buy things here to showcase a
- 7:28Speaker 8: part of ourselves.
- 7:29Speaker 4: That we never took time to find.
- 7:31Speaker 8: And so I'm wondering, is that what you found that
- 7:33Speaker 8: in a piece of saying like this is what life
- 7:35Speaker 8: should be?
- 7:35Speaker 6: Bro?
- 7:36Speaker 3: Like, I ain't really if you peak like the last Like,
- 7:40Speaker 3: since I got back, I ain't really been wearing jewelry.
- 7:44Speaker 3: I wear my watch, you know what I'm saying. But
- 7:46Speaker 3: it's like I don't really wear it because over there
- 7:48Speaker 3: it made me realize like like, bro, this shit don't
- 7:52Speaker 3: make me a better rapper.
- 7:55Speaker 6: It don't make me a better person, you know.
- 7:57Speaker 3: What I'm saying, Like it's just something to show people
- 8:00Speaker 3: to get them to pay attention to me. I could
- 8:02Speaker 3: find another way to do that. I'm creative enough to
- 8:05Speaker 3: find another way to do that. So it's like I
- 8:07Speaker 3: ain't about to just feel like I got to just
- 8:09Speaker 3: put on jury every day to go do an interview
- 8:12Speaker 3: or make people rock with my music. You either gonna
- 8:14Speaker 3: rock with it or you not. And I'm at peace
- 8:18Speaker 3: with that. I'm not trying to impress you no more.
- 8:22Speaker 7: Liberating a feeling.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it is what it is like, let life happen
- 8:26Speaker 3: however it's gonna happen.
- 8:27Speaker 6: It's gonna happen.
- 8:28Speaker 7: And that was because of Nigeria.
- 8:30Speaker 6: Oh, because of Nigeria.
- 8:32Speaker 4: Bro.
- 8:33Speaker 3: The whole time, Like the first two days was rough.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Why because you can't really shower the way we shower
- 8:41Speaker 3: over here, because we can't drink they water so as
- 8:45Speaker 3: nice as a house that we was in, the shower
- 8:47Speaker 3: thing was still like a sprinkler. So it's like I'm
- 8:51Speaker 3: watching my body, but i can't really wash my face.
- 8:53Speaker 3: I'm washing my face with a bottle of water, brushing
- 8:56Speaker 3: my teeth with a bottle of water.
- 8:58Speaker 4: You know.
- 8:58Speaker 6: So it was just like, yeah, it was. It was
- 9:02Speaker 6: a culture shot.
- 9:03Speaker 3: But it's like once you get used to it, you
- 9:05Speaker 3: get used to the heat, you ain't really tripping off
- 9:08Speaker 3: like clothes and what you gotta wear and like all
- 9:12Speaker 3: these different things. It's just like like it's people in
- 9:15Speaker 3: the club actually party.
- 9:17Speaker 7: Yeah, not a party is christ dance.
- 9:20Speaker 4: You didn't move around with any security.
- 9:22Speaker 6: You know, I had security.
- 9:23Speaker 3: I had topics like here, I'm like like security of
- 9:28Speaker 3: the world.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, you know what I'm saying.
- 9:30Speaker 6: We had cops.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, Like.
- 9:33Speaker 3: I ain't want of them rappers to become I'm on
- 9:36Speaker 3: my jewelly.
- 9:38Speaker 6: Every day. No, security ain't. I was running around.
- 9:44Speaker 4: I got my son out there.
- 9:45Speaker 6: I gotta get back home.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I gotta get back home, bro, that's a fact
- 9:49Speaker 3: to get home.
- 9:50Speaker 7: That's how we was moving, man, everywhere.
- 9:54Speaker 8: They slept at the house yeah yeah, yeah, outside waiting
- 9:56Speaker 8: for us.
- 9:57Speaker 6: They was at the crib like.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Yeah. I was like, I thought that part got left
- 10:02Speaker 4: out there. I was like, wait, do you have Nah?
- 10:05Speaker 3: I definitely did, but nah going over there like it
- 10:09Speaker 3: showed me and then like I shot the music video
- 10:11Speaker 3: that we just dropped top G over there, and even how.
- 10:14Speaker 6: That happened, Like I was in the projects, bro, Like
- 10:17Speaker 6: one of.
- 10:18Speaker 3: The worst hoods over there is called Legos Island.
- 10:21Speaker 7: How that happened?
- 10:23Speaker 3: Dog, I'm in the I'm in the crib. Now, keep
- 10:29Speaker 3: in mind, I bring a studio over there, so my
- 10:33Speaker 3: crazy ass, like I brought like a laptop with like
- 10:37Speaker 3: a mic and like a studio setup. So my ass
- 10:42Speaker 3: over there finding random people on the street that's singing, like, Bro,
- 10:47Speaker 3: come to the crib, like get on the sprinter, like,
- 10:50Speaker 3: come to the crib. Like I'm to the point. My
- 10:53Speaker 3: homie eye was like, shit, you can't be you got chill,
- 10:56Speaker 3: Like yeah, like everybody coming over there like so I'm like,
- 11:01Speaker 3: all I'm a chill So I'm bringing people to the crib, bro,
- 11:05Speaker 3: and they just recording like they recording, they recording, and
- 11:10Speaker 3: I'm like, damn, these dudes is talented his hell, Like
- 11:13Speaker 3: you know, they talented his hell. So the engineer who
- 11:16Speaker 3: I had engineering, I kept telling him like, no, we
- 11:20Speaker 3: had got back the day we had got back from
- 11:23Speaker 3: taking the laptops to the school. We've got a hundred
- 11:26Speaker 3: laptops to the school. We went and did that. I
- 11:29Speaker 3: got back in my homie self, who was the engineer
- 11:32Speaker 3: that was engineering all the kids that was over there.
- 11:35Speaker 3: He was like, Bro, is this something you wanted to do,
- 11:37Speaker 3: like before you get up out of here?
- 11:39Speaker 6: Because I was leaving in two days, And I was like, man.
- 11:43Speaker 3: I did want to shoot a video, but I couldn't
- 11:46Speaker 3: really get it how I wanted to get.

- 14:35Speaker 1: and families will be protected.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 14:40Speaker 6: He was like, what you want to look like?
- 14:42Speaker 3: I was like, bro, I want to show Nigeria, Like
- 14:44Speaker 3: I don't want to show the island, you know what
- 14:47Speaker 3: I mean? Like we could show that too, Like, let's
- 14:50Speaker 3: show both sides. Let's show the difference between the island
- 14:54Speaker 3: and the mainland. So if you watch the videos, a
- 14:56Speaker 3: conversation with me and myself, like, that's kind of like
- 15:00Speaker 3: the island and the mainland. So I'm starting off in
- 15:03Speaker 3: the mansion right where I'm in the crib. That's the
- 15:06Speaker 3: island where the cribs is nice and it's gold trimming
- 15:09Speaker 3: on the tie and the marble and everything. Uh nah,
- 15:14Speaker 3: it's Lego's island. So these were the big cribs and everything.
- 15:19Speaker 3: But then when you going to the mainland, there's more poverty,
- 15:22Speaker 3: so we're showing both sides of it. So I'm like,
- 15:25Speaker 3: I'm telling him that I want to show that. He like,
- 15:28Speaker 3: I got the perfect people for you. So he called
- 15:31Speaker 3: his production crew called Whack People, and they come through
- 15:36Speaker 3: and literally broke like two hours, like just pull up
- 15:40Speaker 3: to the crib. They're like, yeah, bro, what you want
- 15:43Speaker 3: to do. I'm like, man, I want you a video,
- 15:45Speaker 3: but like I wanted to look clean. I don't want
- 15:47Speaker 3: it to look like we just had a regular DSL
- 15:50Speaker 3: or camera and we just shot whatever, and he was like, nah,
- 15:54Speaker 3: I got you. You was like, uh, it was like
- 15:57Speaker 3: give me, give me a couple hours. So he called
- 16:00Speaker 3: back in like six hours. He was like, when you
- 16:03Speaker 3: want to shoot. I'm like, shit, we can shoot now.
- 16:07Speaker 3: You're like, I'm on the way. So they pull up, Bro,
- 16:11Speaker 3: they got all the equipment. We go to this spot
- 16:15Speaker 3: with my man Vector. That's his neighborhood that we was at,
- 16:19Speaker 3: so that whole community over there. Vector take care of
- 16:22Speaker 3: a lot of that community. He's a big staple over there.
- 16:25Speaker 3: He's like what Kendrick Lamar is to us, he's that
- 16:28Speaker 3: to them over there. So go meet vector tell him
- 16:32Speaker 3: what I want to do. He's like, come on, bro,
- 16:34Speaker 3: take you through. We go through the neighborhood. We just
- 16:38Speaker 3: filmed the video, Bro, like all night and we just
- 16:42Speaker 3: chilling like we're eating, like I'm taking their herbal shots
- 16:46Speaker 3: and everything. They gel off every day. But I was
- 16:53Speaker 3: just over there, bro, just rocking with the people. I
- 16:55Speaker 3: had my son with me outside.
- 16:56Speaker 6: Bro.
- 16:57Speaker 3: It was like twelve midnight. We just out there the neighborhood,
- 17:00Speaker 3: kicking in with the kids, and it was just love.
- 17:03Speaker 6: It was love.
- 17:04Speaker 3: So it's it's definitely a something that's a part of
- 17:07Speaker 3: my life at this point. Because we actually ended up
- 17:10Speaker 3: signing Lucky. Oh yeah, so we got him a spot
- 17:14Speaker 3: over there. He has a studio over there now because
- 17:18Speaker 3: he was living in a straw house with seven siblings
- 17:22Speaker 3: his parents don't, you know, less fortunate. So we actually
- 17:27Speaker 3: you know, got him in a better situation and he's
- 17:29Speaker 3: making music. But the thing that impressed us about Lucky
- 17:32Speaker 3: the most was more than the music and everything. It
- 17:35Speaker 3: said the main thing he wanted and life was to
- 17:38Speaker 3: learn because he never really had the chance to go
- 17:41Speaker 3: to school. So we're helping him, you know, get in
- 17:44Speaker 3: school and learning. So more than just putting his music
- 17:47Speaker 3: out and like trying to turn him to a rap store.
- 17:51Speaker 3: It's like allowing him the ability to grow up and
- 17:54Speaker 3: have a dream for like a lot of kids over
- 17:56Speaker 3: there don't really get the time to dream, you know,
- 18:00Speaker 3: So that's something that we want to provide for him.
- 18:02Speaker 4: So that's contexts man.
- 18:03Speaker 8: We talk about education reform here, but we missed the
- 18:08Speaker 8: part where it's like there's people who only have access
- 18:10Speaker 8: to education.
- 18:12Speaker 4: So that that's big.
- 18:13Speaker 8: I mean, when you were there in one of the
- 18:14Speaker 8: things we saw was the amount of youth. There's so
- 18:17Speaker 8: much youth, and so we always look at Africa as
- 18:20Speaker 8: a place, especially Nigeria, as a place of tremendous resource
- 18:24Speaker 8: right because imagine if you give or you help import education,
- 18:29Speaker 8: import mindset, import infrastructure and business, what does the country
- 18:33Speaker 8: look like, what does the continent look like? Is that
- 18:35Speaker 8: something that you plan to do going forward? Continuoucy going
- 18:38Speaker 8: to Africa, going to different countries, intil the content.
- 18:40Speaker 3: So me and Victor actually is working on a project
- 18:44Speaker 3: together and we actually are shooting a documentary that we
- 18:49Speaker 3: started over there and it's called Bridge to Gap and
- 18:52Speaker 3: it speaks on and the documentary would be the first
- 18:56Speaker 3: documentary produced by my media company I was telling you
- 19:00Speaker 3: guys about. But it goes into the difference between and
- 19:05Speaker 3: so does the project we're making with the music to it.
- 19:07Speaker 3: It goes into the difference between the African and the
- 19:11Speaker 3: African American and statistically a whole bunch of different things
- 19:16Speaker 3: that we cover and why we are the way we are,
- 19:21Speaker 3: and really kind of highlighting that to motivate people over
- 19:25Speaker 3: here to stop looking at Africa as a place with
- 19:29Speaker 3: just kids with flies, and they face that, like what
- 19:33Speaker 3: America shows us over here? Like America, Like a lot
- 19:36Speaker 3: of Americans think that a lot of Africans don't rock
- 19:40Speaker 3: with us over there. And I asked that question over there,
- 19:43Speaker 3: and that's not necessarily true. The media paints that perception,
- 19:48Speaker 3: so we look at them that way and there's this
- 19:51Speaker 3: combative spirit. But really, bro, our people love us. They
- 19:56Speaker 3: love us over there, So we took time to actually
- 19:59Speaker 3: go over there, like, Okay, let's build a school, let's
- 20:02Speaker 3: build a gymnasium, let's build studios, let's build Like I've
- 20:06Speaker 3: seen three gas stations the whole time I was there, Bro, Like,
- 20:10Speaker 3: let's go build some gas stations over there, you know
- 20:13Speaker 3: what I mean?
- 20:13Speaker 6: Like what's the process.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Even if we can't figure out how to do it,
- 20:17Speaker 3: let's figure the process out so the next generation can.
- 20:20Speaker 3: But I feel like that's something we need to look
- 20:22Speaker 3: forward to because on some real shit like America ain't
- 20:26Speaker 3: doing too good right now, jimp, you know what I mean,
- 20:30Speaker 3: And eventually we're gonna have to go over there and
- 20:33Speaker 3: see what's going on with our people. So it's important
- 20:36Speaker 3: that we start somewhere. We gotta start somewhere. But that's
- 20:40Speaker 3: definitely something I'm interested in. It's you know, getting some
- 20:44Speaker 3: things going over there and bringing more people back over
- 20:47Speaker 3: there so we could unify over there.
- 20:50Speaker 7: You know. It's interesting.
- 20:51Speaker 5: We we've been tapping in a lot with the continent,
- 20:54Speaker 5: and we were in DC a while ago and we
- 20:56Speaker 5: were talking to some people from East Africa and one
- 21:00Speaker 5: of the women specifically, she was talking about the movie
- 21:03Speaker 5: Black Panther. Right, very insightful from the Bay Area. So
- 21:07Speaker 5: like the Black Panther movie, especially that first one, it's
- 21:09Speaker 5: a lot of hitting messages in that. Like I mean,
- 21:12Speaker 5: obviously the Black Panthers, Black Panther Party starting in Oakland,
- 21:15Speaker 5: but as far.
- 21:16Speaker 7: As like how she described it to me was ill.
- 21:20Speaker 5: She was like, you know, it's like a parent that
- 21:23Speaker 5: has a child right where the child might have been
- 21:27Speaker 5: abducted and the parent didn't really fight for the child.
- 21:30Speaker 7: So it's two parts to this.
- 21:31Speaker 5: Now the child starts to act out right, becomes more
- 21:36Speaker 5: sexually active, joints, gangs. It's all out of like frustration
- 21:41Speaker 5: because they have an attachment to their biological parents but
- 21:45Speaker 5: they don't necessarily know them. But they've never really gotten
- 21:48Speaker 5: over that feeling of just being kicked out and left
- 21:52Speaker 5: alone and not like you never came back for me.
- 21:54Speaker 5: And then the parents have some sort of a grief
- 21:58Speaker 5: and they kind of feel some sort of blame for
- 22:02Speaker 5: not going after the child. So it's trauma on both sides, right,
- 22:06Speaker 5: and it's like the only way to really hell that
- 22:08Speaker 5: trauma is to be reconnected. And it was like kill
- 22:11Speaker 5: Monger in the movie, like he's a very rebellious person
- 22:14Speaker 5: and it's like his story to me is like the
- 22:18Speaker 5: story of African Americans, right, and it's like I feel
- 22:22Speaker 5: like we've both been played against each other where it's
- 22:26Speaker 5: like we look at it, not everybody, but there's been
- 22:30Speaker 5: a campaign in the media to be like all these
- 22:33Speaker 5: Africans don't care about you da da da da, like
- 22:35Speaker 5: they sold you to slavery, Da da da. And then
- 22:37Speaker 5: the Africans, it's like, well they're slaves, like they they're nonsense.
- 22:42Speaker 5: They they're always troublemakers in America. They always get in trouble.
- 22:45Speaker 5: They're killing each other. They doing all of that right.
- 22:46Speaker 5: But it's like there's reasons for both sides why there's dysfunction,
- 22:51Speaker 5: and now I think it's dope, and especially with the
- 22:54Speaker 5: music is now we're starting to bridge that gap and
- 22:56Speaker 5: we realizing that there's more similarities than and we have
- 23:00Speaker 5: expertise that could be beneficial because we went through a
- 23:03Speaker 5: system in America that nobody has ever and we survived it,
- 23:07Speaker 5: and they have the resources.
- 23:08Speaker 7: So it's like if.
- 23:09Speaker 5: We can if we can ocie with their traditions and
- 23:13Speaker 5: their resources, now that's an unstoppable combination.
- 23:15Speaker 3: It's very unstoppable. It would make us like the most
- 23:18Speaker 3: dominant place on earth, you know what I mean? Like,
- 23:23Speaker 3: I'm I'm fully for it, bro Like I'm all for
- 23:27Speaker 3: That's a great that's a great analogy. You just broke
- 23:30Speaker 3: down too. I gotta rewatch the movie now from that
- 23:33Speaker 3: perspect because that's do you know what's crazy? Somebody told
- 23:36Speaker 3: me over there.
- 23:39Speaker 6: It was like.
- 23:41Speaker 3: It was like one of the main reasons like we
- 23:45Speaker 3: look at you guys with an eye up is because
- 23:49Speaker 3: you guys put your data in retirement homes. And I said,
- 23:54Speaker 3: what you mean there was like, you guys put your
- 23:56Speaker 3: grandparents and your mother's in retirement homes, when those are
- 23:59Speaker 3: the people who have the information to feed the children.
- 24:02Speaker 3: How the kids supposed to learn when you're in the
- 24:04Speaker 3: midst of living life and learning yourself, those are the
- 24:08Speaker 3: people that lived it. They're supposed to pass that down.
- 24:11Speaker 3: That's something we don't do that over here. And I
- 24:15Speaker 3: never looked at it like that.
- 24:16Speaker 8: That was one of the conversations we had with Acon
- 24:18Speaker 8: as well, and he was like, the wisdom of the eldest,
- 24:21Speaker 8: even at a level of successuf quote unquote success that
- 24:24Speaker 8: he's had, he's still before he makes a decision, checks
- 24:27Speaker 8: in with his eldest because they have wisdom, even if
- 24:29Speaker 8: it's not in the business sense, they have wisdom of
- 24:31Speaker 8: life any things. That's one of the things that's missing
- 24:35Speaker 8: that when we talk about generational gaps, it's like, how
- 24:38Speaker 8: do we keep our elders as a part of the
- 24:41Speaker 8: lineage of information to a younger generation.
- 24:43Speaker 4: Right.
- 24:43Speaker 8: We talk about the population being so young in Africa,
- 24:46Speaker 8: but do they know those traditions of tapping in with
- 24:50Speaker 8: the eldest right, because there's a certain level of knowledge
- 24:54Speaker 8: that they can pass down right, and you add that
- 24:56Speaker 8: knowledge to the creativity, innovation, and the energy that the
- 25:01Speaker 8: youth have and that becomes an unsolvable force.
- 25:04Speaker 4: But we got to realize it though.
- 25:05Speaker 7: That I think that was done intentionally.
- 25:09Speaker 3: My graduates from my school being forced back drop drop
- 25:15Speaker 3: Mike Drotdrop.
- 25:28Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 25:31Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 25:35Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 25:40Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 25:44Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 25:47Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 25:51Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 25:56Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded. One hundred
- 26:00Speaker 1: thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you are here illegally,
- 26:04Speaker 1: your next you will be fine. Nearly one thousand dollars
- 26:08Speaker 1: a day imprisoned and deported, you will never return. But
- 26:12Speaker 1: if you register using our CBP home app and leave now,
- 26:16Speaker 1: you could be allowed to return legally. Do what's right.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Leave now. Under President Trump America's laws, border and families
- 26:25Speaker 1: will be protected.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security,
