- 0:38Speaker 1: Thanks for being with us. That's from Willie's new album
- 0:41Speaker 1: Dream Chaser, out in the last three days. Scott Clindennon
- 0:45Speaker 1: is here. You were going to read this statement from
- 0:48Speaker 1: the SEC at Big Ten, which is the first statement
- 0:52Speaker 1: I can remember them putting out together in a while.
- 0:55Speaker 3: The Big Ten Conference in the Southeastern Conference support a
- 0:58Speaker 3: sustainable national frame work for college sports, one with effective
- 1:03Speaker 3: transfer portal, clear eligibility standards, and protections and benefits for
- 1:07Speaker 3: student athletes. While we appreciate the leadership of senators crews
- 1:11Speaker 3: and can't well in pursuiting these standards, these standard goals,
- 1:16Speaker 3: we do not support the Protect College Sports Act. As drafted,
- 1:21Speaker 3: the bill leaves critical issues unresolved. It does not meaningfully
- 1:26Speaker 3: preempt the patchword of state laws or provide the protections
- 1:30Speaker 3: needed to make and enforce consistent rules, both essential to
- 1:33Speaker 3: long term stability in college athletics. It also shifts ongoing
- 1:37Speaker 3: room making to Congress, limiting the ability to adapt quickly
- 1:41Speaker 3: is a landscape of alt Rather than reducing litigation, the
- 1:45Speaker 3: bill will likely expand it without offering clear alternatives for resolution. Finally,
- 1:50Speaker 3: the bill alters the House Settlement revenue sharing framework in
- 1:54Speaker 3: a way that may result in fewer student athletes receiving
- 1:57Speaker 3: direct revenue share payments. Into working with Senators Crews and
- 2:01Speaker 3: Cantwell and other members of Congress to improve this legislation
- 2:06Speaker 3: so that it can provide lasting stability for college athletics.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Okay, I haven't. The bill is in itself is a
- 2:13Speaker 1: typical washing bill. It's apparently one hundred and four pages
- 2:16Speaker 1: long or something like that. It's over one hundred pages. Yes,
- 2:19Speaker 1: so I don't know what the made issues. But they
- 2:24Speaker 1: said it doesn't help what it wouldn't help litigation going forward.
- 2:29Speaker 1: In other words, from their perspective.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Yes, but I think a federal law would probably help
- 2:36Speaker 3: a judge in Tennessee making Diego Pavia eligible as long
- 2:40Speaker 3: as he wants to play at Vanderbilt.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Yeah, so you're saying that's what they're looking for.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I think so, yeah, because.
- 2:50Speaker 1: You know, look, they've already proven that they're not out
- 2:53Speaker 1: for the good of college football. They're out for each
- 2:56Speaker 1: individual conference and they want to make as much money
- 2:59Speaker 1: as a conference that they can make. So they've they've
- 3:02Speaker 1: pretty much proven that everything that's going to be thrown
- 3:07Speaker 1: their way that they don't believe will allow them the
- 3:11Speaker 1: autonomy to make their own rules and to make as
- 3:15Speaker 1: much money as they can dream. They're not going to
- 3:19Speaker 1: support anything. They're just going to continue to stall and
- 3:23Speaker 1: we're going to continue to go out. And I think
- 3:27Speaker 1: in their mind, Scott, most of the other teams that
- 3:31Speaker 1: we're talking about in the other power to conferences won't
- 3:35Speaker 1: be able to keep up with forty and fifty million
- 3:38Speaker 1: dollars payrolls. They believe that most of the teams that
- 3:42Speaker 1: their respective conferences will and so they will have the
- 3:48Speaker 1: playground to themselves, right, Yeah, yes, Okay, I mean, let's
- 3:55Speaker 1: establish the ground rules and why they're doing this well.
- 3:57Speaker 3: And I think that's one that's why one of the
- 3:59Speaker 3: things Koko last week said, we're all in it for ourselves,
- 4:03Speaker 3: exactly looking out for this game. Yeah, which was pretty surprising.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Yes, but but he was willing to.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Say a playoff level coache yep, yep would actually.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Come out and I loved, you know, and we talked
- 4:17Speaker 1: about this. He said, I'd rather see forty teams in
- 4:19Speaker 1: the playoffs that way, I'm not going to get fired, yes,
- 4:22Speaker 1: but I you know, certainly appreciate the honesty. He is
- 4:26Speaker 1: not speaking for anybody else, right, And he said that,
- 4:30Speaker 1: he said, I don't even know why you're asking coaches
- 4:32Speaker 1: their opinion. We got no say in the matter, which
- 4:35Speaker 1: they don't. But as we've also talked about Scott the
- 4:40Speaker 1: the and I noticed there was a a president maybe
- 4:46Speaker 1: as part of this hearing today, but they've been totally
- 4:51Speaker 1: silent and invisible during any of this, and they have
- 4:55Speaker 1: basically said, hey, nothing we can do about it. We're
- 5:00Speaker 1: going to focus on the rest of the university and
- 5:03Speaker 1: you guys just deal with athletics however you're going to
- 5:06Speaker 1: deal with it. Because we we've had almost no presidents
- 5:10Speaker 1: with the fortitude to stand up and say, hey, we're
- 5:13Speaker 1: in charge here, right, and no one said that. And
- 5:19Speaker 1: they're paying their athletic directors now several million a year
- 5:22Speaker 1: and they're just saying, hey, do what you got to do,
- 5:25Speaker 1: do what's best, and we'll we'll go over here and
- 5:29Speaker 1: try to make us a better academic university because we
- 5:33Speaker 1: ain't going to full with athletics.
- 5:35Speaker 3: So well, and we're not going to fool with men's
- 5:38Speaker 3: basketball and football. Yes, those of the athletics are not
- 5:42Speaker 3: going to fall.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Yes, because there's a lot of money and power involved. Yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 1: the others, you know, it's like, oh no, we'll we'll
- 5:53Speaker 1: take a stand for that. We didn't talk about the
- 5:57Speaker 1: college football playoff schedule. Wasn't out last week when you
- 5:59Speaker 1: were here? Was it was? Okay, let's do that, can we?
- 6:03Speaker 3: Yes? I sure hope they finished before the Super Bowl?
- 6:09Speaker 1: Right now, they are scheduled to finish ten days before
- 6:14Speaker 1: the Super Bowl or something like that, maybe two almost
- 6:17Speaker 1: two weeks before the Super Bowl.
- 6:18Speaker 3: So they're going to actually play a game during the
- 6:20Speaker 3: NFL playoffs.
- 6:22Speaker 1: No, they're going to play on Monday night.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Why are they not playing the weekend that the Pro
- 6:27Speaker 3: Bowl's going on. They can move in seven days.
- 6:30Speaker 1: That's a wonderful question, and play it did. There's two
- 6:34Speaker 1: weeks between January first and the and the semi final
- 6:37Speaker 1: games on January fifteenth. Two weeks too long. Yeah, I
- 6:40Speaker 1: don't know why. Okay, I understand Christmas. They're starting the
- 6:46Speaker 1: week before Christmas.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Okay. If there's a first round A and M in
- 6:50Speaker 3: Miami played a first round game, correct, When would be
- 6:53Speaker 3: the next game after the first When is the first round?
- 6:55Speaker 1: First round is December eighteenth, the nineteen first game, one
- 6:58Speaker 1: game on the eighteenth. That's a night game, three games
- 7:01Speaker 1: all day long on Saturday, December nineteenth. Okay, Okay, the
- 7:05Speaker 1: next game and there's no games this year on New
- 7:09Speaker 1: Year's Eve, which which is a Thursday night. I'm assuming
- 7:12Speaker 1: the NFL has I know the NFL has a Thursday
- 7:15Speaker 1: night game. They're going to play Wednesday night, December thirtieth.
- 7:18Speaker 1: One game the Festa Bowl on December the thirtieth. Okay,
- 7:23Speaker 1: So if you if you finished the if you.
- 7:27Speaker 3: If you play a conference championship.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Game on the on the this would be Saturday the fifth. Okay,
- 7:36Speaker 1: Saturday the fifth.
- 7:37Speaker 3: So you're not going to play a game if you
- 7:40Speaker 3: don't play in the first round. Correct, You're not going
- 7:42Speaker 3: to play a college football game. It'll be like a
- 7:45Speaker 3: bowl game twenty five days.
- 7:46Speaker 1: That's correct. Like the bowl game.
- 7:48Speaker 3: The team you're going to play will.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Have played, will have played. Correct. And that's the issue
- 7:53Speaker 1: right now because it has it has to be sixteen.
- 7:56Speaker 1: All those teams keep winning, it's got to.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Be eight or it has to be sixteen. You gotta
- 8:00Speaker 3: get away from the boys.
- 8:01Speaker 1: From the Bys. Well, you know, you say you have
- 8:05Speaker 1: to be and I'm.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Only again advanced last year.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I'm okay in the end, I'm okay getting rid of
- 8:12Speaker 1: the bys if you get rid of the conference championship game.
- 8:18Speaker 3: But chip you even if you went to sixteen. Okay,
- 8:22Speaker 3: they they don't care when they play after that. They're
- 8:26Speaker 3: trying not to compete with the NFL.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I get it. I know that all of.
- 8:30Speaker 3: This that, hey, you get rid of the conference championship
- 8:34Speaker 3: games and we can move it up in this day
- 8:36Speaker 3: until the NFL says, hey, we're playing Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday,
- 8:42Speaker 3: and maybe we'll leave you Monday night.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Look, that's why you're played on Wednesday.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Here's here's something else that's happened that we talked about Monday.
- 8:58Speaker 1: ESPN has sold five games to T and T. Well,
- 9:03Speaker 1: the G and T and True TV and HBO Max
- 9:05Speaker 1: are altogether, but they've sold five five of the.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Then I don't want to hear from them. I don't
- 9:11Speaker 3: want to hear that they don't want to give games
- 9:13Speaker 3: to Fox. If they're selling five.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Games, five of the eleven games, they've sold almost fifty
- 9:17Speaker 1: percent of their inventory they have sold the T and T.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Then don't cry crocodile tears that Fox will beginning games here.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Well, here's what they've done. And I talked about this Monday.
- 9:27Speaker 1: They give so much money to the NBA, which everybody
- 9:29Speaker 1: said was just nuts. They bid against themselves. They gave
- 9:33Speaker 1: an absorbit amount of money for their NBA contract because
- 9:37Speaker 1: the NBA politically follows what they want, okay, and does
- 9:42Speaker 1: what they want and does what they tell them to do.
- 9:46Speaker 1: And so they have sold five of their eleven inventory
- 9:52Speaker 1: playoff games to T and T.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Like I said, I don't want to hear that because
- 9:58Speaker 3: Fox didn't bid the last time's right. I don't have
- 10:01Speaker 3: much sympathy for Fox either. Yeah, okay, but then when
- 10:06Speaker 3: you go to sixteen if you go to sixteen. Fox
- 10:09Speaker 3: is going to get four games. Yes, but don't act
- 10:13Speaker 3: like you haven't already said, hey, we're getting We've already
- 10:16Speaker 3: sold five games.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:18Speaker 3: I don't want to hear that.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, So I haven't finished with the schedule yet,
- 10:22Speaker 1: we've already talked about it, all right. So they're playing
- 10:24Speaker 1: January first, quarter final. No, they're playing three games on
- 10:30Speaker 1: January first. January first, Yeah, seven o'clock Friday. It's a Friday.
- 10:35Speaker 1: January first falls on a Friday. Okay. So they're playing
- 10:39Speaker 1: three games eleven am, three pm, seven pm on Friday,
- 10:44Speaker 1: January first, But they haven't determined what days. That's the
- 10:51Speaker 1: Peach Bowl, the Cotton Bowl, the Rose Bowl will be
- 10:56Speaker 1: assigned on selection Sunday, December six, okay, so those games
- 11:03Speaker 1: will be played on January first. We know the Rose
- 11:06Speaker 1: bull Scott no matter what, and I know it's not obligated,
- 11:11Speaker 1: but you know that they're going to get that three
- 11:12Speaker 1: o'clock spot, right. So that means the Cotton Bowl will
- 11:16Speaker 1: get either at eleven am, which they've done several times,
- 11:20Speaker 1: or the seven o'clock at night with the Peach Bowl
- 11:22Speaker 1: getting that other time slot. Okay. So that's January first.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Then we have one day short of two weeks, the
- 11:32Speaker 1: semifinals at the Orange Bowl six thirty January fourteenth, the
- 11:40Speaker 1: Sugar Bowl six point thirty the next night, which is
- 11:43Speaker 1: a Friday night, January fifteenth, and the championship game ten
- 11:51Speaker 1: days after that in Las Vegas on a Monday night,
- 11:56Speaker 1: January the twenty fifth.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Okay, the NFL has a game Thursday night, December thirty.
- 12:04Speaker 1: First, Okay, New Year's Eve night?
- 12:07Speaker 4: Right?
- 12:08Speaker 3: Okay, So does a college football playoff?
- 12:09Speaker 5: Right?
- 12:10Speaker 1: Nope?
- 12:10Speaker 3: That is no.
- 12:11Speaker 1: They stare clear. It's Wednesday night college football, Wednesday night,
- 12:15Speaker 1: Wednesday night, Wednesday night, Friday during the day and night
- 12:19Speaker 1: play Wednesday and then three other six other games I
- 12:22Speaker 1: mean three other games are two days later. That's correct,
- 12:26Speaker 1: that's right.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Okay. And so you said the next game, what is
- 12:30Speaker 3: the ones.
- 12:30Speaker 1: On January fourteenth and fifteenth? That night that's a Thursday
- 12:35Speaker 1: night and a Friday night. So that Thursday night NFL
- 12:38Speaker 1: does not play. That's correct, because they're the playoffs.
- 12:41Speaker 3: By dead they play Saturday, Sunday.
- 12:43Speaker 1: And Monday, right, And well they can't play Monday January
- 12:48Speaker 1: twenty fifth.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Eighteenth, ok steenth, seventeenth and eight.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah, so that's where they built around that schedule
- 12:58Speaker 1: so they would go against the NFL. It's madness.
- 13:04Speaker 3: So you're going to play two days before the other teams.
- 13:08Speaker 1: On Wednesday night, Yes, two days before. You'll get two
- 13:13Speaker 1: days extra rest. You will get either thirteen or fourteen
- 13:18Speaker 1: days of rest. It's it's crazy. Okay. How about this
- 13:23Speaker 1: from Dave Campbell. Top ten running backs in Texas football history.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Have you seen this list?
- 13:30Speaker 6: No?
- 13:30Speaker 3: I have not.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, start naming names now.
- 13:36Speaker 3: I want to know. Is this high school only?
- 13:39Speaker 1: High school only? Our college high school only?
- 13:41Speaker 3: Okay?
- 13:43Speaker 1: Top ten high school running backs in the state's history. Okay,
- 13:49Speaker 1: give me names.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Rodney Thomas, he did.
- 13:52Speaker 1: He is number five, okay. Okay, Well, he's number one
- 13:57Speaker 1: in my heart. Yeah, I know, he's number five.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Okay. I'm gonna go with Eric Dickerson.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Dickerson is way underrated at number four.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Okay. Earl Campbell.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Earl Campbell is number eight eight, Chip, don't shoot the messenger, man,
- 14:27Speaker 1: I'm just telling you.
- 14:28Speaker 3: This is Cedric Benson.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Cedric Benson is number two. Okay. Benson is two on
- 14:39Speaker 1: the list, ahead of Earl freaking Campbell. Okay, but hey
- 14:45Speaker 1: and Rodney Thomas for that matter.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Billy Simms.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Billy Simms is not on the list. He did not
- 14:55Speaker 1: make the top ten. I think this was done by
- 15:01Speaker 1: like a twenty four year old. But Billy Simms is
- 15:04Speaker 1: not in the top ten. Are you ready? You've got
- 15:07Speaker 1: there's another game? You're you're doing fine?
- 15:08Speaker 3: You're duny Ganaher who I don't think belongs. But he
- 15:12Speaker 3: ran for eight and twenty three yards.
- 15:15Speaker 1: He's not there.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Okay, that's good.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Okay, he didn't make that. Uh war mcve warm McVay
- 15:22Speaker 1: did not make it.
- 15:23Speaker 3: I know he didn't. Yeah, okay, hit me with what
- 15:26Speaker 3: I wait? Wait, give me, give me.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Okay, go ahead, okay, Number ten, Kagan Ash from Mount Enterprise.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Sugarland Express, number one or not?
- 15:41Speaker 1: Number three? Kenneth All the sugar Land Express is number three.
- 15:45Speaker 3: No, he's not.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I've already told you it's.
- 15:48Speaker 3: A batt list.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Okay. Do you know who Kegan Ash is? No?
- 15:52Speaker 3: I have no the idea.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I don't need chipping if I don't know who he is.
- 15:55Speaker 1: And no, this kid, I know I don't agree with it.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Jacques Liz Rogers. Remember he had a brother as well.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Did he go to Oregon, Oregon State, Oregon. Okay, he's
- 16:06Speaker 1: number nine on the list from Lamar and solid great
- 16:10Speaker 1: running back. Don't think he belongs in the top ten.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Earl Campbell's number eight, which is insane.
- 16:18Speaker 3: That's insane for you?
- 16:20Speaker 1: Who is that's for you? I understand it's crazy.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Who is telling you this?
- 16:26Speaker 1: Okay? Who's ahead of Earl Campbell? Okay?
- 16:29Speaker 3: I gave you something?
- 16:30Speaker 1: Are equal with Earl cam you did?
- 16:32Speaker 3: I might have one.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Robert Straight is number seven, okay, not federal.
- 16:38Speaker 3: No.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Gerard Douglas from Converse Judson at number six. Did he
- 16:46Speaker 1: go to Baylor?
- 16:47Speaker 3: Yes?
- 16:47Speaker 1: Okay.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Chris Pryor is still better than Jeron Douglas even though
- 16:51Speaker 3: he was a Nucklee.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Rodney Thomas at five, Eric Dickerson at four, Kenneth Hall
- 16:58Speaker 1: at three, Cedric Benson at two, and Jonathan Gray from
- 17:06Speaker 1: Alito is number one. Now, I do want to say this,
- 17:10Speaker 1: I'm not defending this list because it's it's indefensible with
- 17:14Speaker 1: Dickerson's only four and Campbell is ak. I always rail
- 17:20Speaker 1: on lists that that are made because of what these
- 17:25Speaker 1: guys did after that right, whether college or pro that
- 17:29Speaker 1: we're talking to high school period, Okay, high school period,
- 17:34Speaker 1: not what they should have done, not what they did
- 17:37Speaker 1: in college or didn't do in a lot of these
- 17:40Speaker 1: cases in college. So we are just talking in high school.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Megan is the one who just broke the records.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Okay, all of the records, all of the records. What
- 17:52Speaker 1: what division is Mount Enterprise? Okay? They're three A? Which
- 17:57Speaker 1: is I believe Eric Dickerson was two way when he
- 18:00Speaker 1: was run with Seeley. Does that sound like right? I
- 18:05Speaker 1: think it was. You know, I did his games, you
- 18:07Speaker 1: know that. Yes, I never saw Earl Campbell in high school.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I saw film, right, not video? I saw film. Okay,
- 18:16Speaker 1: I can imagine who else is not on the list?
- 18:20Speaker 1: The the guy from Oklahoma besides Billy Simms.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Washington Well.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Keep going, you know, played for the Minnesota Vikings. Adrian
- 18:34Speaker 1: Peterson's not on that list. I was told, I was told,
- 18:38Speaker 1: by being older than I am at the time, that
- 18:42Speaker 1: he was the best high school running back they they
- 18:45Speaker 1: ever saw. Okay.
- 18:46Speaker 3: I watched him play against Madisonville okay before Okay, just
- 18:52Speaker 3: like I saw Eric Dickerson play. Okay, here is the
- 18:55Speaker 3: single season before this last year? Hear the single season record?
- 18:58Speaker 1: Okay, can hall two hundred and thirty.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Two, then Jonathan Gray, then Trey Lin Shee who was
- 19:04Speaker 3: playing a ball at Cayuga. I understand why he's not there.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Trevor Spikes, McAllen, South Texas. No, Corey Kyle from c Gray,
- 19:12Speaker 3: Wes Danaher eight eight hundred and fifty five. I was
- 19:15Speaker 3: pretty close on that. Okay, cal Allen, but I hate
- 19:18Speaker 3: cal Allen. So he's out.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Rodney, that's your South Texas upbringing.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Rodney Thomas, Groton, Centered Benson, Midland Lee, Robert Strait, Cuero,
- 19:28Speaker 3: Jack Quiz, Robert Rogers two hundred and forty six yards
- 19:32Speaker 3: at lamarkansolidation, So certainly.
- 19:35Speaker 1: A lot of yards, yes, Okay, Yes, the.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Single season Kenneth Hall, which was just broken this year.
- 19:41Speaker 3: It was four thousand and forty five. Trey Williams thirty
- 19:45Speaker 3: eight ninety, Jonathan Gray thirty eight eighty eight.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Now did they did they include playoffs? Scott later on
- 19:52Speaker 1: in that total right included?
- 19:54Speaker 3: Okay, okay, Rodney Thomas three thousand, seven hundred and one,
- 19:58Speaker 3: Wes Danaher, Cedric Benson three five and twenty six for
- 20:03Speaker 3: Midland League, Robert Straight thirty five hundred and fifteen.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Cuero Cuero.
- 20:10Speaker 3: So I know all of that. I look at all
- 20:13Speaker 3: of that. Yeah, Kenneth Hall didn't play all the games.
- 20:19Speaker 3: He wouldn't play after halftime. Body didn't play after halftime.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Tell the state championship.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Same with Eric Dickerson. By the way, he was done
- 20:28Speaker 1: most half times. Okay, almost his entire senior Gary, he
- 20:32Speaker 1: was finished at half times.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Whatever twetal they wanted to have gotten, they.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Could have gotten exactly, no question.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Okay. Jonathan Gray, Cedric Benson, and Robert Strait, they were
- 20:48Speaker 3: given the carries to try to break those records.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Yes, okay, yes.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Okay, here we go. Jonathan Gray twelve. This is rushing attempts. Okay, twelve,
- 21:00Speaker 3: one hundred and twenty five and he played four years.
- 21:04Speaker 7: Four years.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Yeah, he played four years.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Quiz Rogers eleven hundred and thirty four.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I mean, so that's over three hundred carries a year.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Yep.
- 21:12Speaker 1: And that's, you know, depending on how many playoff games
- 21:15Speaker 1: that he played, because I think they won a state
- 21:17Speaker 1: championship maybe in Alito, right, yep. But he's still carrying
- 21:21Speaker 1: the ball twenty five to thirty times a game.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Iveret straight thirty.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I knew he had a lot of care Sims eleven
- 21:27Speaker 1: twenty eight and how many yards of Billy Simms. I
- 21:30Speaker 1: don't have it. It doesn't say it's not in the
- 21:32Speaker 1: top ten. Okay, Okay, all right.
- 21:35Speaker 3: You go all the way down to Michael Horace at Groton,
- 21:38Speaker 3: who was the running back before Rodney. Okay, and Rodney's
- 21:42Speaker 3: freshman year, Michael Horas was taking carries away from him. Okay,
- 21:46Speaker 3: one thousand and one carries for his career for Rodney. Yes, okay,
- 21:51Speaker 3: read me that list again, from ten to from ten,
- 21:55Speaker 3: from one to ten, one to ten, Gray above, he's
- 22:00Speaker 3: on the on that list, okay.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Benson, yes, Kenneth Hall No, no way. Kenneth Hall le averaged
- 22:07Speaker 1: about thirty yards of carry keep going. Eric Dickerson, No,
- 22:12Speaker 1: not on the list. Rodney Thomas, Gerard Douglas no, straight
- 22:19Speaker 1: was yes, Earl Campbell wasn't No Joquiz Rodgers was yes?
- 22:24Speaker 1: And Keganda ash how many times he carry the ball?
- 22:27Speaker 1: Does it? Say? Okay? Okay.
- 22:29Speaker 3: What I'm saying is they weren't carrying it thirty five
- 22:33Speaker 3: times again?
- 22:34Speaker 1: Correct? If they had carried it thirty nine times again,
- 22:36Speaker 1: There's no doubt Nith.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Hall had played the third quarter of.
- 22:41Speaker 1: His or carried the ball more than fifteen times or
- 22:44Speaker 1: ten times a game, right, right.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Rodney Thomas wouldn't go back into ball games when it
- 22:50Speaker 3: got to the point where Groveton had somebody beat down.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, Yeah.
- 22:55Speaker 3: His center was one of Bryce's coaches, so I've talked
- 22:59Speaker 3: with him. I talked with him a lot about Rodney
- 23:01Speaker 3: because he was from Groveton. Was like yeah, okay, and
- 23:04Speaker 3: it was like Rodney would go the sideline and tell
- 23:07Speaker 3: the coach I'm done tonight. Yeah, and that was it.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, look some of these.
- 23:14Speaker 3: In his junior year he had ninety six sharps.
- 23:17Speaker 1: This a pretty good year in high school.
- 23:19Speaker 3: I want to state championship. And everybody's like, but you
- 23:22Speaker 3: just missed three thousand, and it.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Was like for what, Yeah exactly. Yeah. I mean, look,
- 23:29Speaker 1: these lists are designed to do what we're doing, and
- 23:33Speaker 1: that's talking and arguing about them. So that's fine. Like
- 23:38Speaker 1: I said, I think sometimes these lists are made by,
- 23:44Speaker 1: you know, people who for sure didn't see any of
- 23:47Speaker 1: these guys play that we're talking about. And you know,
- 23:53Speaker 1: I stand by what I said. I just happened to
- 23:56Speaker 1: see Eric Dickerson play in high school, and there was
- 24:00Speaker 1: was no one that I've personally ever seen like him. Okay,
- 24:04Speaker 1: because the fact of the matter is chip Eric.
- 24:08Speaker 3: College football didn't see the best of Eric Dickerson because
- 24:11Speaker 3: he was split in time with another first round draft.
- 24:14Speaker 1: But you know what, it may have helped him, right,
- 24:16Speaker 1: and it helped him in the pros in the long run.
- 24:18Speaker 1: It helped him and kept him fresh.
- 24:20Speaker 3: And people always forget that the leading rusher is a
- 24:22Speaker 3: freshman was a kid from Dallas. Carter blew out his
- 24:25Speaker 3: knee on that kick return.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that that Eric. And what's this that kid
- 24:32Speaker 1: Craig James.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Craig James weren't the leading runner for s MU before
- 24:37Speaker 3: he got hurt.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no question. But it's fun to look at,
- 24:45Speaker 1: Uh you look at guys. You look at guys and
- 24:50Speaker 1: you say, well, what happened to their careers? Well, I mean,
- 24:54Speaker 1: I don't, I don't know. I mean there's so many
- 24:56Speaker 1: expectations when you quote break records. I mean, I know,
- 25:02Speaker 1: Robert Strait was was. He was pretty good at Baylor, Right,
- 25:05Speaker 1: he wasn't an All American, but he was a good
- 25:09Speaker 1: college running back. Gerond Douglas was a good college running back. Right.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Jonathan Gray was a good college running.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Back he got he got used too much of Texas.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Cedric Benson was a good college running back, right. Jacqulyns
- 25:27Speaker 1: Rogers was fun to watch because he was about five
- 25:29Speaker 1: foot nothing, and you know, I remember his career just
- 25:33Speaker 1: because of his size, and people did people didn't want him. Washington, No,
- 25:38Speaker 1: he wasn't better Joe Washingon good gosh, heck, no, he
- 25:42Speaker 1: wasn't better Joe Washington. Was he better Billy Simms? No,
- 25:46Speaker 1: he wasn't better Billy Simms.
- 25:48Speaker 3: I mean chip give him the carries that that what's
- 25:54Speaker 3: his name had for.
- 25:55Speaker 1: The Lions, Barry Barry Mary Sanders.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Can you sit there carry the.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Ball a lot?
- 26:03Speaker 3: Can you sit there and say one hundred percent I
- 26:06Speaker 3: know that Sanders would have had more run rushes than Sims. No,
- 26:13Speaker 3: can you one percent say that? Gail says, wouldn't be
- 26:19Speaker 3: wouldn't have left the game behind second greatest running.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Back of all had he not injured his knee, injured
- 26:26Speaker 1: his All right, we're done here. We've solved all the
- 26:29Speaker 1: world's problems pretty much in the last hour. That's what
- 26:33Speaker 1: we do. Scott Clinton and with us, I had a topic,
- 26:36Speaker 1: Oh man, can you save it?
- 26:38Speaker 8: Well?
- 26:38Speaker 3: Yeah, because it's about that. Uh, the new arena's being
- 26:42Speaker 3: built in Oh.
- 26:43Speaker 1: My gosh, I had that topic. I had that topic too.
- 26:45Speaker 9: I be't built because people don't even want to watch
- 26:48Speaker 9: the game. I can't just want to be in the arena.
- 26:50Speaker 9: You are correct, and I don't want to talk about
- 26:52Speaker 9: that right now. I'm really upset about the whole issue.
- 26:55Speaker 9: It's just and the fact that they're building two separate arenas.
- 26:58Speaker 9: It's just it's it's razy talk. It's just nuts.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Maybe we'll talk about this.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Let's do that next Wednesday. Keep that topic okay, because
- 27:08Speaker 1: that ain't going away anytime soon. We got about five
- 27:11Speaker 1: years to watch them build this crap destination. Brian, do
- 27:15Speaker 1: you know it's First Friday? Did I get that right?

- 30:31Speaker 1: I hate to do this on today, but Peebo Bryson
- 30:35Speaker 1: has died at the age of seventy five, known for
- 30:39Speaker 1: lots of soul ballads. In nineteen ninety one, Beauty and
- 30:42Speaker 1: the Beast, title song of the Disney Field was with
- 30:46Speaker 1: Celine Dion. Later, he and Regina Bell released A Whole
- 30:50Speaker 1: New World from aladdinin became the first song from an
- 30:54Speaker 1: animated film to reach number one on Billboard's Hot one hundred.
- 30:59Speaker 1: I did not know that, but this is why you
- 31:02Speaker 1: listen right.
- 31:04Speaker 8: Now. We all know.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Now, we all know. Bryson had suffered a stroke a
- 31:09Speaker 1: few days ago. Was born in Greenville, South Carolina. As
- 31:13Speaker 1: far back as I can remember, he told Soul Magazine
- 31:16Speaker 1: back in nineteen seventy eight, I've always been into music. Yeah,
- 31:22Speaker 1: I mean, I really liked him. I hadn't heard.
- 31:25Speaker 8: From him in the place.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, exactly. Now. I bet you didn't know this.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I bet this is a Taylor Swift tidbit. You did
- 31:35Speaker 1: not know Taylor Swift try Me is Paul McCartney's biggest fan.
- 31:42Speaker 1: The pop Stars shared an Instagram post from the legendary
- 31:47Speaker 1: eighty three year old singer yesterday about his new album,
- 31:52Speaker 1: The Boys of Dungeon Lane, which, by the way, I
- 31:55Speaker 1: just heard the title track yesterday and I thought it
- 31:58Speaker 1: was really good. Alongside the post, the Blank Space star
- 32:03Speaker 1: called McCartney an eternally exceptional artist and said she was
- 32:08Speaker 1: never not inspired by him. Her post came after the
- 32:13Speaker 1: former Beatle compared her fame and level of success to Beatlemania.
- 32:19Speaker 1: During an interview with BBC last week, McCartney was asked
- 32:23Speaker 1: whether he would give Swift any advice. McCartney said, you
- 32:28Speaker 1: do see the parallel, you know, the fame and the
- 32:30Speaker 1: amount of fame, the worldwide fame that Taylor Swift has
- 32:33Speaker 1: had and that we had. He noted the star doesn't
- 32:37Speaker 1: need any advice from him, adding that he's like a
- 32:40Speaker 1: granddad to Swift's generation. I'm like the older brother to
- 32:44Speaker 1: that generation, or more like the granddad. Actually. He revealed
- 32:49Speaker 1: that he has met Taylor, along with Billy Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo,
- 32:55Speaker 1: Sabrina Carpenter at parties hosted by his wife and daughter.
- 33:00Speaker 1: So there you go. How about that?
- 33:03Speaker 8: Well, thank goodness, yes, thank goodness.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I was worried about his relationship with Taylor Swift. I
- 33:09Speaker 1: was just talking the other day to a fred. I wonder,
- 33:12Speaker 1: wonder how their relationship is.
- 33:16Speaker 8: I wonder how their friendships go? Yeah, hopefully good.
- 33:19Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, speaking of friendships with Taylor Swift, apparently she
- 33:26Speaker 4: has had a falling out with former close pals Miles
- 33:28Speaker 4: Teller oh Kayleie Taylor on whether the two will attend
- 33:33Speaker 4: the singer's wedding to Travis Kelsey and it remains up.
- 33:36Speaker 8: In the air. Jone.
- 33:36Speaker 4: Oh no, apparently Kayley and Taylor are not the bff.
- 33:42Speaker 4: They wont swear with mutuals of the two or hopeful
- 33:46Speaker 4: things will reconcile, reconcile before the wedding. I wonder if
- 33:49Speaker 4: Taylor's being a bridezilla.
- 33:52Speaker 8: Maybe she didn't ask her to be a bridesmaid.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Wait?
- 33:54Speaker 1: Wait, wait do we have to wonder if Taylor is
- 33:58Speaker 1: a bridezilla? I can't imagine having to deal with her.
- 34:03Speaker 8: Well, apparently they did grow apart due to their differences
- 34:07Speaker 8: and lifestyle.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I hate that.
- 34:09Speaker 4: As for what exactly that means, no one is willing
- 34:12Speaker 4: to say, not yet anyways. But yeah, so, I mean,
- 34:19Speaker 4: we don't know what happened, but something did.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Well those help, those crazy kids can patch things up.
- 34:26Speaker 8: Yeah, but we're not done talking about Taylor.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Oh good, good, let's show we never are.
- 34:32Speaker 4: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's wedding venue has been a
- 34:35Speaker 4: well kept secret for months, with everyone speculating where the
- 34:38Speaker 4: big event will go down, and now the NYPD's top
- 34:42Speaker 4: cop is throwing fuel on the fire.
- 34:46Speaker 8: So the New York Police Department Commissioner Jessica Tish. Maybe
- 34:50Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 34:51Speaker 4: I sat down with the City Council for a budget
- 34:54Speaker 4: hearing Monday in Manhattan, and at one point was asked
- 34:56Speaker 4: about overtime funding for the office. Tish ran down a
- 35:03Speaker 4: laundry list of major events aroount July that may require
- 35:06Speaker 4: police overtime, such as the city's Fourth of July celebration
- 35:09Speaker 4: No shock there, the sale to two hundred and fifty
- 35:13Speaker 4: military parade, the NBA finals in the World Cup, which
- 35:18Speaker 4: we all know is going on.
- 35:20Speaker 8: She did note and potentially a Taylor Swift wedding, but
- 35:22Speaker 8: quickly poured cold water on that data that idea, saying,
- 35:26Speaker 8: I'm kidding, well.
- 35:28Speaker 1: You know, page success. It's going to be July the third,
- 35:32Speaker 1: so we'll see.
- 35:34Speaker 4: Well, maybe they'll just get married at the fourth, the
- 35:37Speaker 4: fourth of July parade.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I think they should. I think they should get married
- 35:41Speaker 1: during the fireworks in New York. Yeah. Yeah, Well, you know,
- 35:47Speaker 1: Travis and his brother Jason have a new book out. Yeah,
- 35:53Speaker 1: thank god, a book, Jason Kelsey writes. In that introduction,
- 35:57Speaker 1: which is called No Dumb Questions and all of our
- 36:00Speaker 1: dumbest Answers, Jason writes, you're about to read a book
- 36:06Speaker 1: that was written by two people who both got kicked
- 36:08Speaker 1: out of preschool. Travis writes, it's a plot twist for
- 36:13Speaker 1: the guy who claims he can't read well. The book
- 36:20Speaker 1: has pretty much been panned by critics. The Kelsey Brothers
- 36:26Speaker 1: foray into the literary world promises ruminations on life, football
- 36:33Speaker 1: and what ifs. It's only twenty four dollars.
- 36:39Speaker 8: I thought you were about to say twenty four pages.
- 36:41Speaker 1: No, well, and that's double and that's double spaced, that's
- 36:47Speaker 1: double space. Yeah, I don't know.
- 36:51Speaker 8: Margins are a little smaller than normal.
- 36:54Speaker 1: I don't know if you've been keeping up with this stuff,
- 36:56Speaker 1: But longtime sixty Minutes correspondence got Pelley got fired.
- 37:03Speaker 8: I briefly heard, but I didn't hear much.
- 37:05Speaker 1: He shared a lengthy statement on Instagram earlier today, which
- 37:12Speaker 1: was re shared by the verified pages of his former colleagues.
- 37:18Speaker 1: He called changes at the news program and at CBS heartbreaking.
- 37:24Speaker 1: There's never been anything in America like sixty Minutes, said Pelley.
- 37:30Speaker 1: I would kind of disagree with that. The Sunday tradition
- 37:33Speaker 1: is the most successful program of any kind in history.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Well again, it's not the Simpsons, but hey, anyway, we're
- 37:43Speaker 1: the best.
- 37:44Speaker 8: Yeah, I was the best.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Anyway, so they got He got in a big
- 37:51Speaker 1: fight with his boss and guess what he lost.
- 37:54Speaker 8: He didn't win. He did not mistake.
- 37:57Speaker 1: That was a bad mistake on his part apparently.
- 38:01Speaker 8: So he probably went in and thinking, what are they
- 38:03Speaker 8: gonna do?
- 38:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can say whatever I want. Yeah.
- 38:12Speaker 4: No one can be spared, so you gotta be You
- 38:15Speaker 4: gotta watch that mouth. Yeah, Taylor's Taylor said Taylor Swift
- 38:20Speaker 4: different Taylor Taylor frank Frankie Paul a major win in
- 38:24Speaker 4: the custody battle with ex Dakota over their two year
- 38:28Speaker 4: old son.
- 38:28Speaker 8: Ever, you gotta do better with naming these kids.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Do we want her to win a custody battle? I'm
- 38:36Speaker 1: just asking. I don't know.
- 38:38Speaker 4: I don't know if either of them should exactly.
- 38:41Speaker 8: There should be some limits on these names, like are
- 38:44Speaker 8: you sure that that's what you want?
- 38:46Speaker 1: Did you say ever? Ever?
- 38:48Speaker 8: Ever? Ever? Like forever but without the four just ever Wow? Anyways.
- 38:55Speaker 4: A Salt Lake City.
- 38:56Speaker 8: Judge rule that was the worst name ever. No, I'm
- 38:58Speaker 8: just kidding.
- 38:59Speaker 4: Will be a will to have unsupervised overnight visitation with
- 39:03Speaker 4: the toddler during a hearing on Monday. Under the new arrangement, Paul,
- 39:07Speaker 4: who has previously only allowed supervised visitations for up to
- 39:11Speaker 4: eight hours each week, will follow Utah's minimum parent time provision.
- 39:16Speaker 4: This allows her to have ever overnight like ever every
- 39:21Speaker 4: other weekend and only midday weekday not overnight, so basically
- 39:26Speaker 4: on the weekends, Ever can stay during the week No.
- 39:31Speaker 4: The judge also continue with terms of Paul and Dakota's
- 39:34Speaker 4: mutual restraining orders, which bars them from making disparaging comments
- 39:39Speaker 4: or remarks towards one another and requires them to say
- 39:42Speaker 4: one hundred feet apart from each other. So the exes
- 39:45Speaker 4: were last in Utah court on April thirtieth, and that's
- 39:49Speaker 4: when they basically said that.
- 39:51Speaker 8: This is a very dysfunctional and very toxic relationships. Shot there.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Yeah, Sean Diddy, you know, is sir having fifty month
- 40:01Speaker 1: prison sentence, but he may not be done. The LA
- 40:06Speaker 1: County District Attorney's Office has been presented with the case
- 40:09Speaker 1: involving p Ditty, which is quote under review. TMZ says
- 40:14Speaker 1: the case involves allegations of a couple of incidents. Detectives
- 40:22Speaker 1: with the La Police Department reportedly investigated the music publicists
- 40:26Speaker 1: claim before submitting the case to the district attorney for
- 40:30Speaker 1: possible charges. So he's not done yet. The La County
- 40:37Speaker 1: DA's office. Let's see July second, that was back a
- 40:46Speaker 1: while ago. Diddy is currently scheduled to be released February
- 40:55Speaker 1: twenty third of twenty twenty eight, so he still has
- 41:01Speaker 1: some time to do and I don't think he's done yet. Meanwhile,
- 41:08Speaker 1: Cassie Fine revealed in a new court ruling she has
- 41:12Speaker 1: moved out of the US one year after she testified
- 41:16Speaker 1: in the Ditty sex crimes trial, during which she shared
- 41:22Speaker 1: the former rapper paid her a twenty million dollars settlement.
- 41:27Speaker 1: She's found a new country to call home. Well she
- 41:30Speaker 1: can afford it. Apparently, she requested a transfer of location
- 41:36Speaker 1: for ongoing legal battle with a male escort, saying I
- 41:41Speaker 1: am not a resident of the state of California. I
- 41:44Speaker 1: reside outside of the United States. I do not intend
- 41:48Speaker 1: to move back to the United States. So anyway, there's
- 41:55Speaker 1: there's still stuff to be decided. Let's put it that way.
- 42:01Speaker 4: I don't blame her for she wanted to get away
- 42:03Speaker 4: from him as much as she.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Could, and she has the money to do it now, right.
- 42:09Speaker 8: That's true. Also, you know who we haven't talked about
- 42:12Speaker 8: in a hot second.
- 42:13Speaker 14: Who's that Kim Kardashian, we haven't and what you know story,
- 42:19Speaker 14: so we got to throw this in the mix. Okay,
- 42:22Speaker 14: Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton are going the distance.
- 42:25Speaker 1: I don't know what happens.
- 42:28Speaker 8: It means they're dating.
- 42:30Speaker 1: I don't know who Hamilton is.
- 42:33Speaker 8: I think he he is a driver for FE. I
- 42:36Speaker 8: guess oh, okay, yes, he's an f R. Yeah, well, okay.
- 42:39Speaker 4: In a new post on social media, which means, oh
- 42:41Speaker 4: my gosh, it's the real deal. The forty five year
- 42:44Speaker 4: old Skims Mogul I always want to say mongol, but
- 42:48Speaker 4: that's not right.
- 42:49Speaker 8: It's the history major in me.
- 42:50Speaker 4: Mogul shared around of all the recent moments, including an
- 42:53Speaker 4: adorable day out with the British racing driver lately. She
- 42:58Speaker 4: captioned the innswer the Instagram post, which was filled with
- 43:02Speaker 4: time spent with family and friends. In the fourth slide,
- 43:05Speaker 4: she did include a screen I'm laughing because of the
- 43:09Speaker 4: way that they described Kim Kardashian, which is the all
- 43:11Speaker 4: fair actress. I just think it's funny that we're calling
- 43:14Speaker 4: her an actress now sorry, included a screenshot of a
- 43:17Speaker 4: selfie taken by Hamilton of the two of the two
- 43:21Speaker 4: as they rode bikes together on the sunny day in
- 43:23Speaker 4: the city.
- 43:24Speaker 8: The f one star smiled at.
- 43:25Speaker 4: The camera, with Kardashian looking terrified behind him as the
- 43:29Speaker 4: bike nearly collided with.
- 43:32Speaker 8: The slide Up.
- 43:32Speaker 4: Right after that was an original video of the moment,
- 43:35Speaker 4: which showed him extending his arm to capture them both
- 43:38Speaker 4: in the frame.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Nice so that she very much.
- 43:43Speaker 4: It just shows how much she trust him. This is
- 43:46Speaker 4: what souruses are saying. The star is very selective. She's
- 43:50Speaker 4: also introduced him to her kids, so I'm sure we'll
- 43:53Speaker 4: have her from Kanye sooner than if.
- 43:55Speaker 1: We have already. Wait wait, wait, wait, did you just
- 44:00Speaker 1: say she's selective with who she lets her kids hang
- 44:04Speaker 1: around with?
- 44:06Speaker 4: I mean, I mean I read that almost how many
- 44:09Speaker 4: technically I did say that?
- 44:11Speaker 1: How many of them? How many of these Kim Kardashian
- 44:16Speaker 1: has a new boyfriend stories have we dealt with over
- 44:19Speaker 1: the years. Apparently she's not that said, I'm just saying
- 44:25Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 44:27Speaker 8: So.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Conspiracy director Adam Marcus has unloaded on the late Val
- 44:35Speaker 1: Kilmer in a series of since deleted social media posts,
- 44:41Speaker 1: calling him a putts and saying he had no problem
- 44:46Speaker 1: speaking ill of the dead worst human being I've ever known,
- 44:53Speaker 1: said Adams, And that is really saying something. Uh. Kilmer
- 44:59Speaker 1: star starred as Spooky McPherson, a disabled Iraq war vet
- 45:05Speaker 1: who travels to Arizona to discover that his friend and
- 45:08Speaker 1: family had vanished in the two thousand and eight action
- 45:11Speaker 1: thriller Conspiracy, which Adams directed. Adam's comments come a little
- 45:18Speaker 1: over a year over Kilmer's death. Despite him having a
- 45:22Speaker 1: ton of fans, he didn't exactly have a clean cut
- 45:26Speaker 1: reputation on Set Entertainment Weekly, says Joel Schumacher. The Batman
- 45:34Speaker 1: Forever director labeled him childless and impossible, childish, I'm sorry,
- 45:41Speaker 1: childish and impossible and psychologically disturbed human being. Val addressed
- 45:49Speaker 1: the criticism with Rolling Stone, admitting he had been careless
- 45:54Speaker 1: about how I viewed my business. But I trust the
- 45:59Speaker 1: truth is the truth and a lie is a lie.
- 46:03Speaker 1: In a documentary, Kilmer said he had behaved poorly and
- 46:07Speaker 1: even bizarrely to some, but he has had no regrets.
- 46:15Speaker 1: I mean, this is nothing new. Honestly, when when you
- 46:21Speaker 1: talk about Kilmer, I don't know that anyone that ever
- 46:25Speaker 1: did a movie with him came away singing his praises.
- 46:30Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 46:30Speaker 4: I was about to say, I don't know if I've
- 46:32Speaker 4: ever heard someone say a positive thing. Yeah, yeah, personally,
- 46:38Speaker 4: I would say, like this personal side.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Give me give me Doc Holliday any day.
- 46:43Speaker 15: Man.
- 46:44Speaker 1: I'm just saying that was I mean, he's he Look,
- 46:52Speaker 1: we know actors and actresses are different. I mean that's
- 46:56Speaker 1: a nice way. That's a nice way to put it.
- 47:00Speaker 1: He was just maybe more different than others.
- 47:05Speaker 8: That is true.
- 47:05Speaker 1: It is do you have do you have a story
- 47:08Speaker 1: about Pink?
- 47:11Speaker 8: I don't, all right, how dare you pink story?
- 47:16Speaker 1: Her bestie Shoshana Bean says Pink has everything she needs
- 47:23Speaker 1: to succeed as host of the Tony Awards coming up
- 47:27Speaker 1: Sunday night. Well, speaking to people about her nomination from
- 47:33Speaker 1: Lost Boys Being reveals the Grammy winner, Pink is feeling
- 47:38Speaker 1: the pressure ahead of MCing their ceremony. We were just
- 47:44Speaker 1: facetiming the other day and she's I think I can
- 47:47Speaker 1: share quite nervous. I was like, bro for me. The
- 47:54Speaker 1: best host of any awards show, whether it's the Tony's,
- 47:58Speaker 1: the best hosts are the people who don't make it
- 48:00Speaker 1: about themselves. Bean believes Pink already understands that instinctively. The
- 48:09Speaker 1: Broadway star who has been friends with Pink for years.
- 48:12Speaker 1: When's the last time we talked about Pink? By the way,
- 48:16Speaker 1: it's been a minute, hasn't.
- 48:17Speaker 8: Been, no, it has?
- 48:20Speaker 1: I mean, So she's hosting the Tony Awards June seventh,
- 48:26Speaker 1: So I'm just going to say, next Tuesday, let's, uh,
