- 0:57Speaker 7: It's weird looking at the calendar or this computer screen

- 1:25Speaker 7: We're taking him on a road trip because you know,
- 1:27Speaker 7: we give him the option every year, do you want
- 1:28Speaker 7: a birthday party or do you want a trip? In
- 1:31Speaker 7: the last two years, he's picked a trip, which I
- 1:34Speaker 7: love that.
- 1:34Speaker 6: Yeah, I do too.
- 1:35Speaker 7: It's like I always feel bad when we go to
- 1:37Speaker 7: all these kids parties because I mean there's just so
- 1:39Speaker 7: many from school, baseball, basketball, you know, all the things,
- 1:42Speaker 7: and always feel bad that I don't have a group
- 1:44Speaker 7: celebrating him.
- 1:44Speaker 6: But he chooses the trip and I love.
- 1:46Speaker 5: That for us good because what are you going to
- 1:48Speaker 5: remember at the end of the day, Yeah, ten years,
- 1:50Speaker 5: twenty years, is he going to remember his birthday party
- 1:52Speaker 5: at Chuck E Cheese or the fact that he went
- 1:54Speaker 5: to you know, Hot Springs.
- 1:56Speaker 7: Or yeah, he's going to Hot Springs National Park.
- 2:00Speaker 6: And then we have a major, major surprise.
- 2:02Speaker 7: I think he's asleep, but I'm not going to say
- 2:03Speaker 7: it because I cannot this.
- 2:05Speaker 6: Yeah, it is a major surprise.
- 2:08Speaker 1: I don't say the surprise.
- 2:09Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I know.
- 2:11Speaker 7: I almost posted on my social media this morning. I
- 2:14Speaker 7: can't remember who I told about the surprise, but please
- 2:16Speaker 7: don't say anything. We're probably not going to tell him
- 2:18Speaker 7: until tonight.
- 2:20Speaker 6: Yeah, but we'll see.
- 2:21Speaker 1: It's a little road trip.
- 2:22Speaker 6: Though it is a road trip.
- 2:23Speaker 1: We will say that. And that's what it's all about.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Memorial that.
- 2:26Speaker 5: Well, it's all about our soldiers who passed away. We'll
- 2:30Speaker 5: always remember that. But it's also about you know, you know,
- 2:34Speaker 5: celebrating and your family and just being together.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Yeah, road trips are part of that. So good. Well
- 2:39Speaker 1: that's gonna be fun.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Happy birthday, Endzo. Producer Poo is here. It's not his birthday, no,
- 2:43Speaker 5: but it's okay, Pooh, what's up?
- 2:45Speaker 8: Well, enjoy your time with Enzo. Because my kids ghosted
- 2:49Speaker 8: me yesterday, ye both of them. We had all planned
- 2:52Speaker 8: to go to waffle House yesterday. They say, we want
- 2:55Speaker 8: waffle house. Let's go to waffle house lasday of school.
- 2:57Speaker 8: Oh yeah, they go, hey, can you drop us off
- 3:00Speaker 8: at this party and then pick us back up?
- 3:03Speaker 1: So I was like, okay. Cool.
- 3:04Speaker 8: So I killed time at Target and then my thirteen
- 3:08Speaker 8: year old Paul calls me and he goes, hey, Dad,
- 3:10Speaker 8: me and Brennan are gonna stay a little longer. And
- 3:12Speaker 8: I was like, so, we're not eating waffle house and
- 3:14Speaker 8: he goes, oh, we could do it some other time.
- 3:17Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, okay, okay, cool, I'll pick
- 3:20Speaker 1: y'all up later.
- 3:21Speaker 8: And he was like, uh no, We're gonna get a
- 3:23Speaker 8: ride home with Freddy. And I was like okay, wow,
- 3:28Speaker 8: so yeah, so yeah, your.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Boy, your boy.
- 3:31Speaker 5: I saw an on Instagram and it looked like one
- 3:33Speaker 5: of those posts that somebody posts like a real where
- 3:36Speaker 5: it's like a real sad like real. He posted the
- 3:39Speaker 5: sadus real he said when you get ghosted by your kids,
- 3:42Speaker 5: with the most depressing music and him sitting in the
- 3:45Speaker 5: booth at waffle house along by myself. I was like,
- 3:51Speaker 5: I was like, okay, I thought to myself, first of all, oh, next,
- 3:55Speaker 5: second of all, you.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Got waffles in front of you. You ain't that sad?
- 3:59Speaker 5: You ain't that said I mean what I mean. Even
- 4:05Speaker 5: looked at what was around him, and I'm like, he's okay.
- 4:09Speaker 5: He had food and he also had like a big
- 4:10Speaker 5: sprite or something with it.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Yeah, a sprite and the water. Sprite and the water. Yeah,
- 4:15Speaker 1: spike now with the water and the All Star Breakfast.
- 4:19Speaker 6: Yeah, I love it.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh yeah.
- 4:21Speaker 5: Well I feel the same way though, because the same
- 4:24Speaker 5: thing with my son. I was like, you know, I
- 4:27Speaker 5: mean he's going to be a freshman next year. Yeah,
- 4:29Speaker 5: And I was like, Hey, you want to go fishing
- 4:31Speaker 5: this weekend or do something? You know, we can go.
- 4:33Speaker 5: I don't know wherever, Let's do something fun. He's like, Dad,
- 4:35Speaker 5: I'd love to, but I got so many parties.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Oh okay, yeah, okay, I just got so many things
- 4:42Speaker 1: I need to do. Yeah, oh okay.
- 4:44Speaker 5: Well you'll be a waffle out pool.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Stories on the Tents with the Kid in the morning
- 4:51Speaker 2: only on the New Mix on a Friday Morning, Candae
- 4:55Speaker 2: Lopez Everything we need to know.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I wants up, Candadi.
- 4:57Speaker 6: Yeah. Well.
- 4:58Speaker 7: Triple A says they expect forty five million people to
- 5:01Speaker 7: travel at least fifty miles for a Memorial Day this year.
- 5:04Speaker 7: If that happens, we would break the record that was
- 5:06Speaker 7: set last year. Car and air travel are expected to
- 5:10Speaker 7: be up despite the highest holiday gas prices in four years.
- 5:13Speaker 7: The national average for a gallon of regular gas four
- 5:17Speaker 7: dollars and fifty six cents.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that's up a.
- 5:20Speaker 6: Dollar and thirty eight cents from last year.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Did you see what they're talking about?
- 5:25Speaker 5: How there's like a gambling website that I always check
- 5:28Speaker 5: the odds on things, and I do that because vegas
- 5:31Speaker 5: is rarely wrong. Yeah, like when they talk about things happening,
- 5:34Speaker 5: you can bet on pretty much everything nowadays, not that
- 5:36Speaker 5: I do. Yeah, but they have the gas prices ending
- 5:39Speaker 5: twenty twenty six at almost six dollars a gallon.
- 5:42Speaker 6: What please be wrong?
- 5:44Speaker 1: Please be wrong?
- 5:46Speaker 6: Wow?
- 5:46Speaker 5: Yeah, like five it was like five forty nine or
- 5:49Speaker 5: five fifty something.
- 5:50Speaker 6: I could see that happening. Sadly.
- 5:52Speaker 9: We'll come on, guys.
- 5:54Speaker 7: The good news is though, we didn't make the list
- 5:55Speaker 7: of the top ten states of the worst road rage,
- 5:58Speaker 7: So that's good if you're traveling my car.
- 6:00Speaker 6: We didn't.
- 6:00Speaker 10: Yeah, how I don't know.
- 6:02Speaker 5: I know there was road rage yesterday and six thirty
- 6:04Speaker 5: five I saw in the mill ras. I mean there's
- 6:05Speaker 5: always road range, but these two got out like fought
- 6:08Speaker 5: in the middle of ease six five.
- 6:10Speaker 6: No, please don't do that this weekend.
- 6:12Speaker 1: It's not worth it.
- 6:13Speaker 6: No, we have enough traffic, guys.
- 6:16Speaker 7: An update for you on the jury trial between the
- 6:19Speaker 7: Dallas Stars and the Dallas Mavericks.
- 6:21Speaker 6: It has been canceled. A judge ruled in.
- 6:23Speaker 7: Favor of the MAVs, meaning they are sole operators of
- 6:26Speaker 7: the Double ac The Stars have already appealed the judge's decision.
- 6:31Speaker 7: But if you remember that lawsuit from October filed by
- 6:34Speaker 7: the MAVs claims the Stars violated the agreement to operate
- 6:37Speaker 7: that arena together, which then gave the MAVs control. Well,
- 6:41Speaker 7: the Stars then countersued, saying the MAVs lawsuit was nothing
- 6:45Speaker 7: short of a hostile takeover. But basically, the agreement required
- 6:49Speaker 7: both teams to keep their corporate headquarters within Dallas city
- 6:52Speaker 7: limits and then the Stars of course moved to Frisco
- 6:54Speaker 7: in two thousand and three, but this wasn't an issue
- 6:57Speaker 7: until twenty twenty four. Yeah, so that's the latest on that.
- 7:01Speaker 7: We'll see what happens with the Stars.
- 7:03Speaker 5: Neither of them are going to be there soon, right,
- 7:05Speaker 5: I mean, I think the Man's are going to stay.
- 7:06Speaker 6: In Dallas, Yeah, it sounds like it.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I don't think the Stars will.
- 7:09Speaker 7: Yeah, so they definitely want outlet's keep one team there,
- 7:13Speaker 7: I'll be happy.
- 7:13Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Yeah. You don't go to Stars games, do you?
- 7:15Speaker 6: I haven't been to a Stars game two years.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I want to, so.
- 7:20Speaker 7: Yeah yeah maybe maybe next season, Yeah I will, I will.
- 7:27Speaker 7: We have new details on Britney Spears Do You I
- 7:30Speaker 7: arrest from March. The police report says they saw her
- 7:33Speaker 7: swerving and it took more than three minutes to pull
- 7:36Speaker 7: her over, that she initially refused to get out of
- 7:40Speaker 7: the car. The arrest report shows that officer found a
- 7:43Speaker 7: brown purse that had a bottle of pills labeled adderall.
- 7:46Speaker 6: That were not prescribed to her.
- 7:48Speaker 7: They say they also found an empty wineglass in the
- 7:51Speaker 7: center console cup holder. It also says officers noticed a
- 7:55Speaker 7: distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage. Britney reportedly admitted to
- 8:00Speaker 7: taking several prescription drugs and even bragg she could probably
- 8:05Speaker 7: drink four bottles.
- 8:06Speaker 6: Of wine and take care of them.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Well let's see. Ell No, I'm kidding. We don't want
- 8:11Speaker 1: to see that.
- 8:12Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 8:12Speaker 7: The wildest part was, you know, you see her having
- 8:15Speaker 7: a crash out in this video when they asked her
- 8:17Speaker 7: to get out of the car and she you know begs.
- 8:19Speaker 6: Them, uh, you know, to come to her house.
- 8:22Speaker 7: She says she has a pool and offers to make
- 8:25Speaker 7: them lasagna.
- 8:26Speaker 10: What.
- 8:27Speaker 5: Yeah, she offers up a lasagna pool party, a la
- 8:30Speaker 5: pool party, which sounds incredible.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to go to that.
- 8:35Speaker 6: Obviously they refuse.
- 8:36Speaker 1: They did.
- 8:39Speaker 7: I wondered if they you know, I don't know cops,
- 8:41Speaker 7: you know, or wild sometimes in that area.
- 8:43Speaker 1: What a weird flex.
- 8:44Speaker 5: Yeah, she'd be like, hey, listen, I know you pulled
- 8:46Speaker 5: me over, but I'm Britney Spears. I have a pretty
- 8:49Speaker 5: decent sized above ground pool right at my house, and
- 8:52Speaker 5: I make a mean lasagna. I'm down right get out
- 8:58Speaker 5: of the car.
- 8:59Speaker 12: Man.
- 9:00Speaker 10: I don't know why.
- 9:00Speaker 7: I could see one officer somewhere just being like, sure,
- 9:03Speaker 7: I'll just give up my job and go party with that.
- 9:05Speaker 5: That would be me. That's why I'm not a cop.
- 9:07Speaker 5: I'd be like, whatever, can we play a little bit
- 9:09Speaker 5: of this? I don't know if you're gonna believing? Okay, Yeah,
- 9:11Speaker 5: I have a little piece of no. And this is
- 9:13Speaker 5: real audio from Britney Spears. They released it because it's
- 9:17Speaker 5: part of the Cops audio. Yeah, and it's a video
- 9:20Speaker 5: that's on it's circulating, it's all over the place. But
- 9:22Speaker 5: it's really hard to hear, so I don't know if
- 9:24Speaker 5: you can hear it.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Or now, let's see you get out of your car.
- 9:26Speaker 12: Okay, Well I'm sorry if you don't like that, I'm
- 9:29Speaker 12: giving you a lotful order to step out of your vehicle.
- 9:31Speaker 5: Okay, so the cop the cops says, I need you
- 9:34Speaker 5: to step out of your vehicle. I can't really hear Brittany,
- 9:35Speaker 5: but she goes, I don't like that.
- 9:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Okay, man, well that's not how it works, titled I
- 9:41Speaker 1: don't like that.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Would you like them to you?
- 9:48Speaker 1: Okay?
- 9:48Speaker 5: The cops are actually being real nice right there. The
- 9:51Speaker 5: cop goes, would you let me to drive around the
- 9:53Speaker 5: corner so people can't see? Yeah, and she started crying
- 9:57Speaker 5: and she said yes please, and you're like okay. So
- 10:00Speaker 5: so she gets back of the car though, like she's
- 10:01Speaker 5: going to be the one drive right, and they're like,
- 10:03Speaker 5: I can I know my right?
- 10:16Speaker 1: I know I.
- 10:17Speaker 5: Like that.
- 10:18Speaker 3: I'm a woman.
- 10:19Speaker 1: She said, I know my rights. Yeah, I'm a woman.
- 10:22Speaker 5: And then fine, finally gets out of the car, but
- 10:25Speaker 5: at first she gets in the car like just follow me.
- 10:27Speaker 9: Home, right, Like, what do you about on you're not?
- 10:32Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean the witnesses. I guess we're saying. You know,
- 10:34Speaker 7: she almost sideswiped multiple vehicles. You know, the person that
- 10:38Speaker 7: called her vehicle in was worried about this, which obviously.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Well, and I hope she's okay because it doesn't seem
- 10:44Speaker 5: like things are really getting better.
- 10:45Speaker 6: No, it doesn't.
- 10:46Speaker 7: I'll definitely keep you posted though. I'm Canda Slowpez. Those
- 10:49Speaker 7: are your Texas top stories on Nick's.
- 10:51Speaker 1: One O two point nine.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Good Morning, Billy the Kid, Canda Slowpez, producer Poo On

- 11:04Speaker 5: it's okay. We're gonna be fine with that.

- 11:33Speaker 5: because my friend was going down there for work and

- 11:37Speaker 5: coming to Texas and I was like, oh cool. He goes,
- 11:39Speaker 5: maybe I could see you. I said where? He said,
- 11:41Speaker 5: al Paso. I said, you have no idea how big
- 11:43Speaker 5: Texas is. Like, I was just gonna get in the

- 12:28Speaker 5: gotta tell you which one is fake. And the headlines
- 12:31Speaker 5: are always crazy, so it's hard to tell sometimes what's
- 12:34Speaker 5: going on and what's real. Yeah, first headline, headline number one,
- 12:37Speaker 5: man sets off fireworks inside a Walmart so he could
- 12:41Speaker 5: steal ten thousand dollars in jewelry. Man sets off fireworks
- 12:46Speaker 5: inside a Walmart so he could steal ten thousand dollars
- 12:50Speaker 5: in jewelry.

- 13:48Speaker 5: the pooh?
- 13:48Speaker 7: Some tells me poo and I really want to pick
- 13:50Speaker 7: the same story today.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Is that possible? I mean, yeah, well we've never done
- 13:54Speaker 6: it before.
- 13:55Speaker 1: But you want to do that? Yeah, you want to
- 13:57Speaker 1: change it up?
- 13:58Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 13:59Speaker 6: I feel like we are both going to pick the
- 14:00Speaker 6: Florida woman.

- 14:03Speaker 6: I just want us to win together.
- 14:06Speaker 7: I know, Okay, I picked the Florida Woman's story.

- 14:26Speaker 1: I and he gets a d.
- 14:27Speaker 6: US A lot of d It is a lot d
- 14:30Speaker 6: W I.
- 14:31Speaker 5: W yeah, driving under the influence. That's Britney spears she

- 14:42Speaker 5: d U because they didn't know what was going on.
- 14:44Speaker 5: Either way, let's lock that in, lock it in, and
- 14:47Speaker 5: I love the Candids you're trying to be nice, but
- 14:50Speaker 5: don't do that because you won. Congratulations. I'm gonna start
- 14:59Speaker 5: me and these harder because if you felt like it
- 15:02Speaker 5: was that easy, you know what, you just wait, just
- 15:06Speaker 5: wait then.
- 15:06Speaker 7: Because a few times this week I was totally stumped.
- 15:09Speaker 5: I just closed my eyes and yes, yes, the fake
- 15:11Speaker 5: story was Florida woman found in a tree dressed as
- 15:15Speaker 5: a squirrel throwing acorns at police.
- 15:17Speaker 7: I can just tell which story you wish is real,
- 15:20Speaker 7: and that's how I know it.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I know, am I giving it away with my face
- 15:22Speaker 1: or something? What's going to look at your eyes? Because
- 15:26Speaker 1: new Wig?
- 15:26Speaker 8: Well, I could tell, like if you're laughing, and then
- 15:30Speaker 8: I'm like, okay, that's got.
- 15:31Speaker 1: To be new Wig pooh looking in my eyes.
- 15:33Speaker 6: That's not your facial expression.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Yeah, you just know my humor.
- 15:38Speaker 9: Yeah, and what makes me giggle exactly?
- 15:40Speaker 1: All right?
- 15:41Speaker 5: Well, I do wish that was true, but it's not true.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Let's go with the stories that are real. First, one
- 15:45Speaker 5: New York man arrested for driving drunk to pick up
- 15:47Speaker 5: a friend after their dwy arrest.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Oh, come on, what is going on?
- 15:52Speaker 5: You can't show up drunk to pick up your drunk friend? Right, Yeah,
- 15:56Speaker 5: that well, twenty five year old Antone drove to the
- 15:59Speaker 5: Mount County Sheriff's office to collect his friend after their
- 16:03Speaker 5: DWI arrest. He drove into a restricted part of the
- 16:06Speaker 5: facility rather than public parking, drawing a deputy's attention. The
- 16:11Speaker 5: deputy was like, Hey, what's going on and immediately noticed
- 16:14Speaker 5: that Antone was drunk. Which listen, I know you're gonna
- 16:20Speaker 5: have fun kids, and I hate to say this. You
- 16:22Speaker 5: know this time of the year you're gonna graduate, you're
- 16:24Speaker 5: gonna be doing things. You're gonna be silly. Yeah, you
- 16:27Speaker 5: might be drinking.
- 16:27Speaker 9: Don't drive, No, do not drive or write an e bike.
- 16:32Speaker 6: Don't ride an e bike either.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Don't do that either. Just just walk or just stay
- 16:36Speaker 5: where you're at. Just sit, just sit Chris Cross Apple sauce,
- 16:42Speaker 5: and just shut up. Trust you learned from all my mistakes.
- 16:46Speaker 5: Either way, The cop was like, I can't believe you
- 16:48Speaker 5: showed up to pick up your drunk friend drunk Wow
- 16:51Speaker 5: and throw them both in jail. So now he's in
- 16:54Speaker 5: jail for a Memorial Day weekend.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Man, So that's that story.
- 16:57Speaker 5: Another story, Wow man sets up fireworks inside of Walmart
- 17:02Speaker 5: so he could steal ten thousand dollars in jewelry. Thirty
- 17:09Speaker 5: six year old Anthony Rhodes ignited a grocery cart full
- 17:15Speaker 5: of fireworks inside the children's clothing section of Walmart to
- 17:20Speaker 5: cover up a jewelry heist. I mean, not an awful plan, no,
- 17:25Speaker 5: because what he's doing is a distraction to.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Yes. So he's like, hey, check this out.
- 17:30Speaker 5: I'm gonna put all these fireworks in this cart, send
- 17:34Speaker 5: it off into the kids section.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Anthony, idiot.
- 17:38Speaker 5: Then while they're all attending to that, I'm gonna go
- 17:40Speaker 5: steal some jewelry. Chaos broke out, They started going out,
- 17:45Speaker 5: customers started fleeing, they evacuated the store, and he got
- 17:48Speaker 5: away with ten thousand dollars worth of jewelry. Wow, he
- 17:52Speaker 5: immediately got caught. But here's the crazy part. The store
- 17:56Speaker 5: also suffered ten million dollars in damages. Oh no, due
- 18:00Speaker 5: to the fire that was started, destroyed inventory, all the
- 18:04Speaker 5: cleanup costs. So thankfully nobody was hurt. But now this
- 18:08Speaker 5: idiot is not only going to jail because he stole
- 18:12Speaker 5: ten thousand dollars worth a jewelry. Walmart is like, yeah,
- 18:14Speaker 5: you also have ten million dollars of damages. You cost
- 18:18Speaker 5: so Anthony Rhoades, you're an idiot.
- 18:21Speaker 6: Yeah, would you do this in the garden center?
- 18:23Speaker 1: You're going.
- 18:25Speaker 5: No, Candace, hit up the Moults. How about don't do
- 18:29Speaker 5: it anywhere? Ten million dollars worth of damages fail for what?
- 18:37Speaker 5: For a engagement ring?
- 18:39Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 18:39Speaker 1: From Walmart. That's what he wanted to do. He wanted
- 18:41Speaker 1: to pop the question to his fiancee.
- 18:43Speaker 10: He did.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Yeah, so never mind. I just read that.
- 18:46Speaker 5: How romantic It's mixed one on two point nine and
- 18:49Speaker 5: be able to kid Candae Loan Paz producer, Pooh, we'll
- 18:52Speaker 5: do that. We also have money coming up today if
- 18:54Speaker 5: you want that on a Friday, right before a long
- 18:56Speaker 5: holiday weekend, how good would that be?
- 18:57Speaker 7: Yes?
- 18:58Speaker 1: Thousand dollars. You know how many buzz balls you can
- 19:00Speaker 1: buy with that?
- 19:02Speaker 5: Some buzz bowls, some bud lights, Natty lights, whatever you're into.
- 19:07Speaker 5: Drink responsibly this weekend though, I know I say that,
- 19:10Speaker 5: but I'm like all jokes aside, please be careful. Wait,
- 19:13Speaker 5: Pam and Ben Brooke wants to say something. Pam, what's up?
- 19:17Speaker 1: How are you doing?
- 19:17Speaker 5: A girl?
- 19:18Speaker 1: What's up? In Ben Brook?
- 19:19Speaker 14: Well, I'm going to tell you, well, right now, I'm
- 19:22Speaker 14: at work cleaning a bus because yesterday was the last
- 19:24Speaker 14: day of school, is going to clean out our bussage for.
- 19:27Speaker 1: The the that's sweet. What do you find and you
- 19:30Speaker 1: find some good snacks or something?
- 19:32Speaker 14: What? Unfortunately my kids don't leave them leave so much
- 19:36Speaker 14: of the this. But I did have a funny story
- 19:39Speaker 14: I wanted to share with you. Yeah, go ahead, okay, Well,
- 19:41Speaker 14: so you know how you said that one friend went
- 19:45Speaker 14: to pick up another friend. He had a dw I
- 19:47Speaker 14: and he was drunk.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Yeah, okay.
- 19:49Speaker 14: So one of my friends is a marshall in Fort Worth, Texas,
- 19:54Speaker 14: and his job is to find people who have warwick
- 19:59Speaker 14: for their arrest. And he's on the highway and his
- 20:02Speaker 14: computer goes off that the car in front of him
- 20:04Speaker 14: has a warrant for their arrest, so he pulls them over.
- 20:07Speaker 14: He pulls him over, and he says, you need to
- 20:10Speaker 14: call somebody to come take your car otherwise we're going
- 20:13Speaker 14: to impound it. So he calls his brother and his
- 20:16Speaker 14: brother's friend said, Hey, I need John to come over
- 20:18Speaker 14: here take up my car. I'm getting arrested. Okay, we'll
- 20:21Speaker 14: be right there. Well they show up. Well, what's the
- 20:25Speaker 14: marshall's job to do? Make sure that those people don't
- 20:29Speaker 14: have a warrant for their rest, and both of them
- 20:31Speaker 14: had a warrant for He said, listen, I don't have
- 20:36Speaker 14: any more room in the car, So you all need
- 20:38Speaker 14: to find friends that don't have warrants for your rescue,
- 20:41Speaker 14: because now you got two cars to pick up. So
- 20:43Speaker 14: then they had I'm like, oh my gosh. So yeah
- 20:46Speaker 14: he would he stopped one person and had three years row,
- 20:49Speaker 14: I'd take them all down.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Wow, Yes, shout out to four worth. I love it.
- 20:56Speaker 5: That is some who would do if I got arrested.
- 20:58Speaker 5: He'd show up and then get arrested.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Just to hang out.
- 21:05Speaker 14: Who would have a warrant from the rest shut up
- 21:08Speaker 14: for jewelry? Dude?
- 21:09Speaker 1: Oh for sure, he's had warrants for worse than that.
- 21:13Speaker 5: I don't think I've ever had a warn out for
- 21:14Speaker 5: my rest never, No, I mean I don't think that's
- 21:18Speaker 5: not shocking.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I just thought maybe for tickets or something like that.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Who collects warrants like Pokemon cards? Yeah, not paying tolls.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Who knows what's going on.
- 21:34Speaker 5: His wrap? She looks like a CVS receipt. Well, thank you, Pam.
- 21:38Speaker 5: We appreciate you so much, and UH have fun cleaning
- 21:41Speaker 5: those buses.
- 21:42Speaker 14: And now that summertime, I'm gonna have to come out
- 21:44Speaker 14: there to visit y'allcause you said you're across the street
- 21:46Speaker 14: from the Dix out there.
- 21:48Speaker 5: Oh yeah, we stare at Dix all day, you know,
- 21:53Speaker 5: to find it's right across from Dicks.
- 21:56Speaker 1: There's actually two dicks.

- 25:20Speaker 6: If you remember, they were.
- 25:21Speaker 7: Testing these out at a few locations up in the
- 25:24Speaker 7: Northeast and it went viral. But hurry if you want one,
- 25:28Speaker 7: because they haven't said if they're going to restock them
- 25:30Speaker 7: or if this is a one time thing.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Forty eight ounces, yeah, so think about.
- 25:34Speaker 7: A Starbucks venty that's twenty four ounces, So two of
- 25:37Speaker 7: those two venty's. But it's in a bucket and it
- 25:40Speaker 7: comes with one straw. But heads up, it's not gonna

- 25:46Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 25:46Speaker 7: I was wishing I had gone by there on my

- 27:47Speaker 5: rumors and all the other stuff that we don't really
- 27:49Speaker 5: know the truth and the facts. So we'll talk to him.
- 27:51Speaker 5: We'll do that at eight thirty. Dirty Little Secret, right now,

- 28:20Speaker 4: So I work.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Overnight security for a massive corporation. I mean, you would
- 28:28Speaker 3: definitely recognize if I said the name.
- 28:31Speaker 1: I did not expect that.
- 28:33Speaker 5: No, I did not expect thought this was a sleep study.
- 28:37Speaker 5: Definitely not your top flight security. Okay, so yeah, what
- 28:43Speaker 5: are you securing? What is going on over there?
- 28:45Speaker 1: It's just a.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Massive area they have, you know, a huge parking garage,
- 28:49Speaker 3: office campus. And yeah, my whole job is basically to
- 28:54Speaker 3: make sure nothing crazy happens overnight, and of course nothing
- 28:58Speaker 3: ever happens overnight. So like, after a while, I just
- 29:02Speaker 3: realized I was sitting there, miserable, trying to stay awake
- 29:05Speaker 3: for no reason. So, you know, I'm making decent money
- 29:09Speaker 3: just to exist there.
- 29:10Speaker 11: So I sleep in my truck, Like, wow.
- 29:16Speaker 7: Are you supposed to be watching the cameras or doing
- 29:18Speaker 7: something you're in the building.
- 29:20Speaker 11: I mean, I am, I'm you know, I just I
- 29:23Speaker 11: usually sleep for like half my shift.
- 29:25Speaker 14: I'm not like, you know.
- 29:28Speaker 1: What, but that's insane. So you just go in your
- 29:34Speaker 1: truck and disappear.
- 29:35Speaker 11: I mean, yeah, pretty much. I have like a mattress.
- 29:37Speaker 3: If it's in there, it's perfect a mattress.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Wait, you got a mattress in your truck?
- 29:43Speaker 3: I do, Yeah, if it's in the back seat, it's
- 29:45Speaker 3: like made specifically for my truck.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I know what you're talking about. Yeah, a lot the heck.
- 29:52Speaker 10: And no one's ever caught you or startled you.
- 29:56Speaker 1: I mean no.
- 29:58Speaker 3: And also I'm want to say that like any overnight
- 30:02Speaker 3: security and most gigs do the exact same thing as me.
- 30:06Speaker 3: So I just want to out there I'm not the
- 30:10Speaker 3: only one.
- 30:10Speaker 14: I know I'm not.
- 30:11Speaker 11: And but yeah, no, I just have like a whole routine.
- 30:16Speaker 11: And you know, I put my radio next to my
- 30:19Speaker 11: head in case.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Something happens, and nothing ever like happens. So like I said,
- 30:24Speaker 3: and yeah, best sleep in my life.
- 30:27Speaker 6: I bet that'd be the worst sleep of my life.
- 30:29Speaker 6: I'd be so nervous.
- 30:30Speaker 5: No, he was going to go down your sound, So
- 30:32Speaker 5: chill about it. Like I'm enjoying myself having a good time.
- 30:35Speaker 8: Like right, so eight hour shift, he's sleeping before four
- 30:39Speaker 8: hours is wait a minute, is this our security guard here.
- 30:42Speaker 14: I know.
- 30:44Speaker 6: He only fell asleep once.
- 30:46Speaker 5: No, I walked by, but he's he does it in
- 30:49Speaker 5: the open, he does it at the security desk. I've
- 30:52Speaker 5: walked by and trying to be quiet because I don't
- 30:54Speaker 5: want to wake him up. In the meantime, we had
- 30:56Speaker 5: a car get stolen out of our whole coffee truck
- 30:59Speaker 5: that makes deliveries was stolen.
- 31:02Speaker 1: And this guy's.
- 31:05Speaker 8: I'll come off the elevator and I see him sleep
- 31:07Speaker 8: and I just cleared my throat.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Oh see im sleep. You're rude.
- 31:11Speaker 6: No, he needs to watch the building.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Well, tell this guy.
- 31:15Speaker 10: Your building too.
- 31:17Speaker 11: I mean I do, but it's like if something happens,
- 31:19Speaker 11: I mean, what am I supposed to do?
- 31:21Speaker 3: They gave they gave me a flashlight in Mace. I'm
- 31:25Speaker 3: not got enough to be batman.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Oh god, that's a fair point.
- 31:31Speaker 11: I'll see you.
- 31:34Speaker 5: I'm gonna shine your lights your eyes out, buddy, I
- 31:37Speaker 5: got the brightest flashlight in Dallas.
- 31:40Speaker 1: No, thank you. Yeah, you're not going to risk it
- 31:43Speaker 1: all for your job.
- 31:45Speaker 3: No, I'm gonna call the cops like everybody else.
- 31:47Speaker 4: That's exactly what I'm gonna do, all right.
- 31:52Speaker 5: I appreciate your honesty that corrects up flashlight in mace.
- 31:57Speaker 5: You get a lot with mace though, Yeah, that's it
- 32:00Speaker 5: all right, flights led well, I mean hopefully you get
- 32:04Speaker 5: paid a decent amount, you get to sleep a little bit,
- 32:06Speaker 5: and good for you.
- 32:07Speaker 1: So I will let you go so you can get
- 32:08Speaker 1: back to your beauty. Wrest.
- 32:11Speaker 5: You're not working right now, are you know? You work overnight?
- 32:13Speaker 5: So you're not working right now. Well tonight you'll sleep well,
- 32:16Speaker 5: sleep well tonight. I will you got some snacks back
- 32:20Speaker 5: there too?
- 32:21Speaker 10: What?
- 32:22Speaker 7: Oh?
- 32:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I got everything. Good for you, I've got all
- 32:24Speaker 4: like yeah, you're basically camping. A little stand for my phone.
- 32:28Speaker 5: Yeah, you're urban camping urban, you're a pioneer. Well, thank you,
- 32:34Speaker 5: and let us know if you ever get busted. I'd
- 32:36Speaker 5: love to follow up on this one. Okay, definitely will
- 32:39Speaker 5: all right, Well, thank you so much.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Yeah, Hey, thank you guys.
- 32:42Speaker 5: Great, Okay, no wonder you sounds so well rested from
- 32:44Speaker 5: working overnight.
- 32:46Speaker 6: Seriously at the morning.
- 32:48Speaker 5: If you sleep on the job eight three three seven
- 32:50Speaker 5: eight seven one two nine, I genuinely want to know, Yeah,
- 32:54Speaker 5: if you, I just want to know what you do.
- 32:55Speaker 5: You don't say your name, but where do you sleep?
- 32:57Speaker 5: How do you get away with sleeping and don't call Pooh.
- 33:00Speaker 5: Pooh is notoriously known for falling asleep.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I'm not ready joking. Do you remember the time he
- 33:05Speaker 1: fell asleep in the middle of a meeting?
- 33:06Speaker 6: Yeah, I remember with our boss.
- 33:08Speaker 5: It was hot in there, while we were talking about
- 33:10Speaker 5: something very important. We look over and he's just snoozing.
- 33:15Speaker 5: I was resting my eyes, poo.
- 33:19Speaker 1: And then he fell asleep in the air one time
- 33:22Speaker 1: during Texas Top Stories. Yes he did.
- 33:27Speaker 6: Yeah, I looked over.
- 33:29Speaker 1: He was sleeping.
- 33:30Speaker 10: Wow.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Really, no, I'm not awake. You're stirring the pot. All right,
- 33:36Speaker 1: there you go, dirty little secret.
- 33:38Speaker 5: It makes one or two point nine bill at a
- 33:40Speaker 5: kid Canda slow pass producer poo. Before we do Candas Cord,
- 33:42Speaker 5: I just want to let you know what I have
- 33:43Speaker 5: to deal with behind the scenes here. Oh my gosh,
- 33:46Speaker 5: she is cannas singing every song, including this one. She
- 33:48Speaker 5: didn't know I was recording this though. Oh God, you
- 33:50Speaker 5: ready listen and Pooh listen.
- 33:53Speaker 7: In the pistol smokeys want to be like on my
- 33:56Speaker 7: knees in the night, saying prays in the street, live
- 34:00Speaker 7: all lives, Living in the Gangster's Paradise, oh.
- 34:07Speaker 1: My god, windows breaking.
- 34:10Speaker 10: All right, he's done for court.
- 34:14Speaker 9: He gets settled.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Here's Billy the kid in the morning.
- 34:17Speaker 1: She's Judge Lopez.
- 34:20Speaker 5: All right, get it together for the audible, Judge Candace Lopez.
- 34:25Speaker 5: You know what.
- 34:25Speaker 1: It wasn't bad until Pooh came in with the background.
- 34:28Speaker 8: Oh man, I was killing Oh yeah, you killed it
- 34:32Speaker 8: all right?
- 34:32Speaker 1: Every bird listening. Wow, Coolly no, there is Coolly no.
- 34:42Speaker 1: All right, Candas Court.
- 34:43Speaker 5: If you got some for Candas, you got a prominent issue,
- 34:45Speaker 5: maybe a work co worker situation, boyfriend, girlfriend, whatever. At
- 34:48Speaker 5: candasan Air on Instagram at candasan Air. I would love
- 34:52Speaker 5: to get you guys' opinion on something that my boyfriend
- 34:54Speaker 5: does that I think is gross, but he doesn't. Oh good,
- 34:58Speaker 5: we're the experts at this.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:00Speaker 5: I recently discovered this after we moved in together. He
- 35:05Speaker 5: eats his breakfast while he takes a shower.
- 35:09Speaker 14: Wow.
- 35:10Speaker 5: He literally has a pop tart and his coffee in
- 35:13Speaker 5: the shower. His coffee every morning, a pop dart. He
- 35:17Speaker 5: says it saves him time while getting ready in the morning.
- 35:20Speaker 5: And I asked him why I never saw him do
- 35:22Speaker 5: this before we moved in together, and he said, I
- 35:24Speaker 5: never slept over on work nights, which is true. He said,
- 35:27Speaker 5: water rarely gets in his coffee, but the thought of
- 35:30Speaker 5: it just makes me want a puke. Plus it makes
- 35:33Speaker 5: the bathroom have a weird smell. Does anyone else do this?
- 35:37Speaker 5: Because I think he needs to stop. I don't think
- 35:39Speaker 5: I'm crazy. Please help?
- 35:41Speaker 1: Oh, I love I love this one. First of all, your.
- 35:45Speaker 5: Boyfriend sounds awesome. No, let's celebrate this guy. This is
- 35:49Speaker 5: a guy living his best life. Let me eat a
- 35:51Speaker 5: pop tart in the shower.
- 35:53Speaker 7: I mean, I've never heard of anyone eating in the
- 35:55Speaker 7: shower until Jessica Bill went viral for saying she eats
- 35:58Speaker 7: her whatever yogurt bowl or whatever it is in the shower.
- 36:02Speaker 10: But why are we doing this?
- 36:03Speaker 1: Why not? Is what I ask you?
- 36:05Speaker 5: Why not in a world where we're busy, We got
- 36:08Speaker 5: a lot of things to do. Have you ever heard
- 36:09Speaker 5: of a shower beer? Yeah, I guess, right before you
- 36:12Speaker 5: go out, you know you're getting ready, you're taking a shower,
- 36:14Speaker 5: You get a shower beer, you drink that.
- 36:16Speaker 1: You just you know, it's like it's a whole thing.
- 36:18Speaker 1: A lot of people do with candas do they? A
- 36:20Speaker 1: lot of people?
- 36:22Speaker 6: A lot of people do a lot of people eat
- 36:23Speaker 6: breakfast in the shower.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Yes, why nasty? Why would you want to do that?
- 36:28Speaker 1: Wash your body? Eat your breakfast on the way out.
- 36:30Speaker 7: At least eat it in the car on the way
- 36:32Speaker 7: to work. Why are we in the shower with food
- 36:34Speaker 7: and drink?
- 36:34Speaker 5: I think that you don't understand as someone who appreciates
- 36:37Speaker 5: the shower as a happy place. I take phone calls
- 36:40Speaker 5: in the shower. Yes, I watch YouTube in the shower.
- 36:45Speaker 6: Less weird.
- 36:46Speaker 1: I absolutely have done a pre party shower beer.
- 36:49Speaker 5: Okay, okay, I don't know if I've ever eaten in
- 36:52Speaker 5: the shower, but I'm gonna try it.
- 36:53Speaker 6: Why, though, why don't you just eat at the dinner table?
- 36:56Speaker 1: Who eats at the dinner table?
- 36:58Speaker 6: Eat at your bar?
- 37:00Speaker 1: Fancy? I eat it a table, a place meant to eat. Yeah,
- 37:05Speaker 1: look at me, I have a kitchen table. Guys, we're
- 37:08Speaker 1: just supposed to do this. Nasty. You don't eat at
- 37:10Speaker 1: the kitchen table? Poo, No, you don't the bar. We
- 37:16Speaker 1: have time for that.
- 37:17Speaker 10: I do.
- 37:18Speaker 6: Who sit and eat?
- 37:19Speaker 5: Who sits down to eat at a pop tart at
- 37:22Speaker 5: the kitchen table? Like I'm some sophisticated Oh, let me
- 37:25Speaker 5: sit down with my pop tarts.
- 37:27Speaker 6: My time sit somewhere.
- 37:28Speaker 8: I mean, if you got time to call me from
- 37:30Speaker 8: the shower, you got time to eat a pop tar?
- 37:33Speaker 1: No, I don't.
- 37:33Speaker 5: That's why I'm calling you from the shower shower, because
- 37:35Speaker 5: I'm doing I'm killing three birds with one.
- 37:38Speaker 1: I don't want to talk.
- 37:39Speaker 6: You're doing too much.
- 37:40Speaker 1: You're in a shower.
- 37:41Speaker 6: We're not living right.
- 37:42Speaker 7: If we gotta take our food in the showers, we
- 37:44Speaker 7: have time to eat and we're.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Doing We're not living right.
- 37:47Speaker 12: I know.
- 37:48Speaker 1: That's the one thing we can agree on. Yeah.
- 37:50Speaker 5: I like to have a drink in the shower sometimes,
- 37:53Speaker 5: and people like, well, doesn't they get water in it? No,
- 37:55Speaker 5: you're not in some will to be under the shower
- 37:58Speaker 5: stream drinking and eating.
- 38:00Speaker 1: You're just off to the side overy here.
- 38:01Speaker 5: You're like, Hey, a little shower beer, watching some YouTube,
- 38:05Speaker 5: talking to poo.
- 38:06Speaker 1: No nice time in your friends. How about wash your
- 38:09Speaker 1: body and get up out it. I washed my body
- 38:11Speaker 1: while I'm talking to you.
- 38:12Speaker 8: I would never I love pop tarts. I would never
- 38:15Speaker 8: eat one in the show. Dare you disrespect a pop tar?
- 38:19Speaker 1: You shouldn't.
- 38:19Speaker 7: This is why it's good, though, to live with someone
- 38:22Speaker 7: for a while before you like do any sort of
- 38:24Speaker 7: like major committee.
- 38:25Speaker 1: That's what are you acting like that's a deal break?
- 38:27Speaker 7: Well, I just mean you just learn a lot about someone, right,
- 38:30Speaker 7: Like how does he manage his time?
- 38:31Speaker 6: What are his priorities?
- 38:32Speaker 1: What did you learn about Eric when you moved in
- 38:34Speaker 1: together that you were like, oh wow, that.
- 38:36Speaker 7: He's like super organized, super clean, super you know all
- 38:41Speaker 7: about having things in order.
- 38:42Speaker 1: You're so lucky.
- 38:43Speaker 6: Yeah, oh I know, trust me because that's not me.
- 38:45Speaker 6: You think it's me, it's not me.
- 38:47Speaker 1: It's a little YouTube. Oh you're organized.
- 38:50Speaker 6: No, I'm a tornado.
- 38:51Speaker 5: Well compared to me, then I must be in that
- 38:53Speaker 5: five tornado. I don't even check my mail half the time.
- 38:58Speaker 5: My neighbors Stuart's checking MyD for me.
- 39:00Speaker 6: You mean shower coffee as wild?
- 39:02Speaker 5: Yeah? I like it if you drink in the shower
- 39:04Speaker 5: eight three three seven eight nine. I mean I think
- 39:07Speaker 5: it's really I don't know. I like doing a lot
- 39:09Speaker 5: of things in the shower, and I'm not kidding. I
- 39:11Speaker 5: brush my teeth in the shower.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Nasty? Why is it?
- 39:13Speaker 6: I don't like that?
- 39:14Speaker 1: How is that nasty?
- 39:15Speaker 6: Do you keep the toothbrush in the take it in
- 39:18Speaker 6: and out of the shower every day?
- 39:20Speaker 7: Why?
- 39:20Speaker 1: Because there's a little ledge there.
- 39:21Speaker 5: Because I'm gonna spend more time on brush my teeth
- 39:23Speaker 5: for longer, you know, so it's it's longer.
- 39:26Speaker 1: I'm relaxed. I'm doing that.
- 39:27Speaker 5: I'll shave in the shower. I'll do everything I can
- 39:30Speaker 5: in the shower. Wow, everything I can. I don't think
- 39:32Speaker 5: it's unreasonable whatsoever. But I'm not the judge.
- 39:36Speaker 1: No I'm not so Oh, no, you're not.
- 39:43Speaker 4: You know.
- 39:45Speaker 5: All right, let's go ahead and get the verdict. Is
- 39:48Speaker 5: this guy guilty of being a weirdo because he likes
- 39:50Speaker 5: to have a little pop tart and coffee in the shower?
- 39:52Speaker 6: Yeah, I think it's definitely weird.
- 39:54Speaker 7: Yeah, this guy's guilty being a shower Brecky Brady. I'm
- 40:00Speaker 7: a messy Marvin because no one's ever ate a pop
- 40:02Speaker 7: tart without a blue corner piece breaking off or some
- 40:05Speaker 7: frosting flaking off. There's probably pop tart crumbs in the shower.
- 40:08Speaker 7: He's washing it down with this spilled water down coffee.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Might be the first time. It's a three parter. Three
- 40:14Speaker 1: parter for guilty.
- 40:16Speaker 6: Of being a what a shower Brecky Brady and a
- 40:18Speaker 6: messy Marvin.
- 40:19Speaker 1: I'd like to file my appeal right now for this job.
- 40:22Speaker 2: This is tough stories on the tents with Billy the
- 40:25Speaker 2: Kid in the morning only on the new mixed one
- 40:28Speaker 2: O two point nine.
- 40:28Speaker 5: How we got some money coming up? We'll do it
- 40:30Speaker 5: at eight forty thousand dollars. We do it on the
- 40:32Speaker 5: forties all day, Candice Lopez, what's up?
- 40:35Speaker 11: Well?
- 40:35Speaker 7: Triple A expects forty five million people to travel at
- 40:38Speaker 7: least fifty miles for.
- 40:39Speaker 6: Memorial Day this year.
- 40:40Speaker 7: If that happens, we would break the record that was
- 40:43Speaker 7: set last year. But car and air travel are expected
- 40:46Speaker 7: to be up despite the highest holiday gas prices.
- 40:49Speaker 6: In four years.
- 40:50Speaker 7: The national average for a gallon of regular gas four
- 40:53Speaker 7: dollars and fifty six cents. That's a dollar and thirty
- 40:57Speaker 7: eight cents more than this time last year. So if
- 41:00Speaker 7: you're hitting the roads, just be prepared. The good news
- 41:02Speaker 7: is we didn't make the list of the top ten
- 41:05Speaker 7: states with the worst road rage that also came out today.
- 41:08Speaker 9: Which I don't believe that, yeah, saying.
- 41:09Speaker 1: There's no way I feel like ten.
- 41:11Speaker 10: We're not in it.
- 41:12Speaker 5: We're definitely in the top ten because the traffic here
- 41:14Speaker 5: has gotten significantly worse quick because of everybody moving here. Yeah,
- 41:17Speaker 5: and I'm not a hater. It's just the traffic wasn't
- 41:19Speaker 5: the roads weren't really built for this.
- 41:21Speaker 1: Yeah. Sure, this kind of grows so quick, so I
- 41:24Speaker 1: think there's a lot of rage. Yeah.
- 41:25Speaker 7: No, they're definitely as Louisiana was number one.
- 41:28Speaker 6: By the way, Just.
- 41:29Speaker 9: Wonder Helisana Louisiana.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Yeah, see that, I picture La.
- 41:35Speaker 6: I think in La like you're just stuck. You're just
- 41:37Speaker 6: like barely cruising.
- 41:38Speaker 5: York has awful road range. Okay, then I would say Mesquite.
- 41:43Speaker 5: Then I would say Garland.
- 41:45Speaker 9: Dallas, Okay, then Mesquite again, the cities.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Twice.
- 41:51Speaker 7: Anyway, guys, we're gonna hit an update on the whale
- 41:54Speaker 7: mural that was painted over in downtown Dallas coming up
- 41:57Speaker 7: at eight thirty.
- 41:58Speaker 6: So Wyland, the artists who painted it and nineteen ninety
- 42:00Speaker 6: nine is going to talk with us.
- 42:02Speaker 7: The latest though, is that he did send a cease
- 42:05Speaker 7: and assist letter this week to the City of Dallas
- 42:07Speaker 7: the building owner after they painted over his mural that
- 42:10Speaker 7: was federally protected. This story's been getting a lot of
- 42:13Speaker 7: national attention, so I'm anxious to hear directly from him
- 42:17Speaker 7: about this, because this story isn't over because this now
- 42:20Speaker 7: blue Wall is going to feature a new public art
- 42:23Speaker 7: piece by a local artist who hasn't.
- 42:24Speaker 6: Been named yet.
- 42:26Speaker 7: But that original painting called Ocean Life, it was seventeen
- 42:29Speaker 7: thousand square feet of art.
- 42:31Speaker 5: And it was beautiful, it was and it was people
- 42:33Speaker 5: loved it. And it was also for a bigger cause.
- 42:36Speaker 5: It wasn't just a painting. It was for conservation and
- 42:38Speaker 5: had meeting behind it. And I want to ask him
- 42:41Speaker 5: Wyland when he comes on, basically how we found out? Yeah,
- 42:45Speaker 5: how do you find out all of a sudden that
- 42:46Speaker 5: you're one of your biggest pieces of work is just
- 42:49Speaker 5: being painted over?
- 42:50Speaker 10: Right?
- 42:50Speaker 6: Who do you jump on the phone with? Hey, you
- 42:51Speaker 6: get on a plane.
- 42:52Speaker 5: What do you do you did for free? Yeah, as
- 42:55Speaker 5: a gift to the city. So we'll talk to him
- 42:57Speaker 5: coming up to eight thirty.
- 42:58Speaker 6: Looking forward to that.
- 42:59Speaker 7: And guys, real quick, we've got new details on Britney
- 43:02Speaker 7: Spears Dui arrest from March. So the police report says
- 43:06Speaker 7: a nine to one to one call came in from
- 43:08Speaker 7: someone worried about an erratic driver in a BMW saying
- 43:12Speaker 7: they almost sideswiped multiple cars. Police saw her swerving and
- 43:17Speaker 7: say it took more than three minutes to pull her
- 43:19Speaker 7: over that she initially also refused to get out of
- 43:22Speaker 7: the car.
- 43:23Speaker 6: The arrest report.
- 43:24Speaker 7: Shows an officer found a brown purse that had a
- 43:27Speaker 7: bottle of pills labeled Adderall that were not prescribed to her.
- 43:31Speaker 7: They also found an empty wineglass in the center console
- 43:34Speaker 7: cup holder. They also noticed a distinct odor of an
- 43:38Speaker 7: alcoholic beverage. Brittany reportedly admitted to taking several prescription drugs
- 43:43Speaker 7: and even bragged I could probably drink four bottles of
- 43:45Speaker 7: wine and take care of you.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Wow.
- 43:48Speaker 6: Yeah, this video was way more than I expected.
- 43:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I was gonna play it, but it's so hard
- 43:53Speaker 5: to hear. But basically, you know, you see her pleading
- 43:57Speaker 5: with the cops. At first she's kind of like I'm fine.
- 44:00Speaker 5: Then then like you got to get out of the car,
- 44:01Speaker 5: and then she's like this kind of starts crying and
- 44:03Speaker 5: they're like, there were cops. I thought, we're being very respectful. Yeah,
- 44:06Speaker 5: they said, you want us to pull around the corner
- 44:08Speaker 5: so everybody doesn't see you on the side of the road.
- 44:10Speaker 5: She said yes, and she went to get back in
- 44:12Speaker 5: a car like she was gonna drive off right, and
- 44:15Speaker 5: she goes just follow me or she goes I'll follow
- 44:17Speaker 5: you guys, and they're like no, no, no, no, get out,
- 44:20Speaker 5: and that's when she kind of.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Got I know, my rights, I'm a woman. What are
- 44:23Speaker 1: you doing? Yeah, and it got kind of ugly, but
- 44:25Speaker 1: she did get out. But yeah, it's not the best
- 44:29Speaker 1: look for her.
- 44:30Speaker 6: No, I mean, you see her in the video.
- 44:31Speaker 7: She's having a crash out, having a meltdown. And then
- 44:34Speaker 7: there's a report saying that she also apparently begged them
- 44:37Speaker 7: to come to her house where she has a pull
- 44:39Speaker 7: and offered.
- 44:40Speaker 6: To make them lasagna. And that is the wildest offer,
- 44:44Speaker 6: you know, is that a bribe?
- 44:46Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 44:46Speaker 1: So you never had a lasagna pool party case?
- 44:50Speaker 6: I haven't, and I'm gonna sit out.
- 44:51Speaker 9: That sounds great, you really are.
- 44:52Speaker 5: Matter of fact, we were just talking about eating the shower.
- 44:54Speaker 5: Brittany eats lasagna in the shower. Oh and the easy
- 44:58Speaker 5: I mean that's an easy, nice hand you know, like
- 45:00Speaker 5: finger food.
- 45:01Speaker 1: I can picture her actually doing that. Oh man for Brittany.
- 45:04Speaker 6: Yeah, I know.
- 45:05Speaker 7: I hope that that she gets straightened out, because a
- 45:07Speaker 7: couple of weeks in rehab clearly.
- 45:09Speaker 5: You know, not not doing the job, and three minutes
- 45:12Speaker 5: doesn't sound like a long time. But when you're being
- 45:14Speaker 5: followed by the police, three minutes is forever.
- 45:17Speaker 6: Three seconds they're behind me with the lights on them, like, yeah,
- 45:20Speaker 6: like where do I go?
- 45:21Speaker 1: Three minutes?
- 45:22Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 45:22Speaker 1: What do you do? Well? Yeah, she was finishing her
- 45:24Speaker 1: wine obviously.
- 45:25Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, you're probably not wrong.
- 45:28Speaker 7: All right, Canoslopez? Those are your Texas top stories.
- 45:31Speaker 5: Good morning, it's be able to kid Candic Slopez, producer Pooh,
- 45:35Speaker 5: I'm excited to talk to this guy because not only
- 45:38Speaker 5: is he an amazing artist and does amazing things for
- 45:41Speaker 5: the environment and whatnot, but I'm he is the talk
- 45:45Speaker 5: right now, not just in Dallas, but I mean throughout
- 45:48Speaker 5: the world. This is becoming a story because this mural
- 45:51Speaker 5: story is interesting because it's gonna set probably a precedent.
- 45:54Speaker 1: Yeah, possibly, And if you don't know, I'm sure you do.
- 45:57Speaker 5: But the mural, the Whale mural downtown that everybody knows
- 46:00Speaker 5: it's been there since nineteen ninety nine, was covered up,
- 46:03Speaker 5: painted over unexpectedly. Everybody was shocked. I mean everybody here
- 46:06Speaker 5: in the city was like, what is going on? Yeah,
- 46:08Speaker 5: but Wiland, the artist is on the phone right now. Wiland,
- 46:11Speaker 5: We're happy to talk to you. Thanks, for being on. Man,
- 46:13Speaker 5: I'm excited to talk to you, guys, absolutely excited to
- 46:16Speaker 5: And first of all, I just want to say thank
- 46:18Speaker 5: you because I know you're busy. We appreciate you taking time,
- 46:21Speaker 5: but more importantly, thank you for an incredible mural that
- 46:24Speaker 5: we've enjoyed for so long here in Dallas. It's iconic
- 46:27Speaker 5: that I don't think enough people really take time to
- 46:31Speaker 5: recognize the artist who does it, because art sometimes is
- 46:34Speaker 5: just overlooked and it sucks because I love art, but
- 46:38Speaker 5: until it's gone or something like this happens, you don't
- 46:41Speaker 5: really talk about it enough.
- 46:42Speaker 1: So thank you.
- 46:43Speaker 12: Now listen my pleasure and this one bottom line at
- 46:47Speaker 12: public art is exposed if I don't take these people on,
- 46:50Speaker 12: because we can't let them get away with it, because
- 46:54Speaker 12: just to blatantly, you know, without any regard or respect
- 46:57Speaker 12: for the community and the size of the bowl collection
- 47:01Speaker 12: of public art for Dallas, it's disrespectful at a minimum.
- 47:06Speaker 4: But I got to go after him.
- 47:08Speaker 12: I mean, a fifth grader knows that you don't paint
- 47:10Speaker 12: over a twenty six year old, you know, cultural landmark
- 47:14Speaker 12: and pretend it has no meaning to the community.
- 47:16Speaker 6: How did you even find out that this was happening.
- 47:19Speaker 12: A guy sent a message to my assistant for me saying, hey,
- 47:23Speaker 12: they're painting out your wall. They're destroying it. And you know,
- 47:28Speaker 12: I was a kid, you know, when I was five
- 47:30Speaker 12: years old. My dad took me over every day to
- 47:32Speaker 12: watch you paint this mural for Dallas. And he was
- 47:36Speaker 12: upset and I said, hey, can you send me a
- 47:38Speaker 12: picture of it? And it was very disturbing to see
- 47:41Speaker 12: it nearly completely you know how they say whitewashed.
- 47:44Speaker 4: This was blue washed. Yeah, just yeah, awful, really.
- 47:48Speaker 12: Gaudy blue paint, completely destroying the mural and it's extinct.
- 47:53Speaker 4: Now they completely destroyed it. It's gone.
- 47:56Speaker 1: That makes me and we're all so sad about it.
- 47:58Speaker 1: I mean, everybody in Dallas is.
- 48:00Speaker 5: It's been so just I don't know, it just feels
- 48:02Speaker 5: awful that it's happening the way it's happening, and that
- 48:05Speaker 5: it's gone, because I mean I like that, the kid said,
- 48:08Speaker 5: and now grown up, but I would take my son
- 48:11Speaker 5: there because he loved that wall. We go to the aquarium,
- 48:13Speaker 5: we go down town, he would take a picture there.
- 48:15Speaker 5: It was like part of our thing.
- 48:17Speaker 4: Well, I was blindsided.
- 48:18Speaker 12: I mean, you know, they said they tried to contact
- 48:21Speaker 12: me and you know, our Wiland Foundation.
- 48:25Speaker 4: They did no such thing. That's a total why and
- 48:27Speaker 4: now they're trying to spin the heck out of it.
- 48:30Speaker 12: This was a gift to the people of Dallas like
- 48:32Speaker 12: you guys, and it's also a gift to the world.
- 48:36Speaker 4: I mean, at a time when.
- 48:37Speaker 12: Our oceans face enormous environmental threats, removing a landmark conservation
- 48:42Speaker 12: mural sends a terrible message.
- 48:45Speaker 1: It does, it really does.
- 48:46Speaker 5: And that's something else that if people don't know you
- 48:48Speaker 5: have a foundation that I want to make sure we
- 48:50Speaker 5: talk about the Wiland Foundation then I mean it's a
- 48:53Speaker 5: nonprofit organization and you're dedicated to, you know, advancing clean
- 48:56Speaker 5: water and conserving the ocean and education on the environment,
- 48:59Speaker 5: which thank you for that as well.
- 49:01Speaker 1: That's important.
- 49:02Speaker 4: Well, I think it's the most important issue of our day.
- 49:05Speaker 12: If we don't have a clean water and a healthy ocean,
- 49:09Speaker 12: everything else, you know, is minor. I mean, it's the
- 49:13Speaker 12: health of the planet that has to come first. Yeah,
- 49:16Speaker 12: I'm not I'm not scared of these people. You know what, guys,
- 49:19Speaker 12: they took on the wrong artists because I can take
- 49:21Speaker 12: them on. And thrue Vera, which is the visual artist
- 49:24Speaker 12: Rights Act. It's federal law to protect artists and public art.
- 49:30Speaker 12: And they're very strong. They've won some I think the
- 49:33Speaker 12: last one was eleven million dollar lawsuit against somebody that
- 49:37Speaker 12: disrespected and destroyed and artist's work.
- 49:40Speaker 4: Good, but you know, we got to send a message.
- 49:42Speaker 4: I even want to go bigger.
- 49:44Speaker 12: I'm going to nail them so that anybody that tries
- 49:47Speaker 12: to do this again in Dallas or anywhere in the US,
- 49:49Speaker 12: you know, will take a second look and go Now,
- 49:52Speaker 12: we probably probably aren't going to go there.
- 49:54Speaker 4: You know what's funny too, guys, and you guys know this.
- 49:56Speaker 4: You're by the wall. You panned the camera away from
- 49:59Speaker 4: the wall. There's six or seven perfect giant walls.
- 50:05Speaker 5: We talked about this yesterday. The YMCA wall is so big.
- 50:09Speaker 5: They could have done it on the YMCA wall. I
- 50:11Speaker 5: don't understand what they're doing, why they did it.
- 50:13Speaker 1: I don't get it.
- 50:14Speaker 12: Well, obviously I picked a pretty good wall. And I'll
- 50:17Speaker 12: tell you another story that's true. I heard a story
- 50:20Speaker 12: there was a you know, the media over there is
- 50:22Speaker 12: doing a deep dive. So they got a hold of
- 50:24Speaker 12: the original owner of that building before he sold it
- 50:27Speaker 12: to these people that did this, and he was approached
- 50:31Speaker 12: right after I did the mural by advertising company to
- 50:35Speaker 12: cover it with a billboard and they offered them two
- 50:39Speaker 12: one hundred and fifty thousand dollars a month, guys, and
- 50:42Speaker 12: he said, no, that wall's important to my kids.
- 50:46Speaker 4: We came down and watched Wilin painted. We would never
- 50:49Speaker 4: do that.
- 50:50Speaker 12: Can you believe that now there's a hero now on
- 50:52Speaker 12: the opposite thread. He sells the building of this group
- 50:56Speaker 12: and they approach him, of course for advertising for my
- 51:00Speaker 12: out and do And you guys saw some of these
- 51:01Speaker 12: ads covering the wall during the pandemic, and he took
- 51:04Speaker 12: They took the money, you know, with no regard for
- 51:07Speaker 12: how important this this mural was.
- 51:10Speaker 4: And uh, that's what I believe happened here.
- 51:13Speaker 12: So I filed a cease and desist and we're going
- 51:16Speaker 12: to file the biggest lawsuit in the history of there
- 51:21Speaker 12: against FIFA, the building owner, and everybody that's involved in this.
- 51:25Speaker 5: Well good and you know, you know, I know it's
- 51:27Speaker 5: not about soccer and soccer fans who love it.
- 51:29Speaker 1: It's not about that.
- 51:30Speaker 5: It's about the art, and it's about people behind this
- 51:32Speaker 5: who are, like you said, are money driven and they're.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Not appreciating the arts. So I'm glad you're doing that.
- 51:37Speaker 1: I really am.
- 51:38Speaker 4: Well, no, I love soccer.
- 51:39Speaker 12: I love American football better herschel Walker came every day.
- 51:43Speaker 4: He actually cut the ribbon and dedicated the wall.
- 51:46Speaker 5: Oh, come on, we appreciate you taking the time, and
- 51:50Speaker 5: I hope you win this lawsuit. I really do for
- 51:52Speaker 5: the sake of art and for the sake of you know,
- 51:54Speaker 5: just integrity of art and conservation as well.
- 51:57Speaker 11: Well.
- 51:57Speaker 12: I'm going to donate one hundred percent of the money
- 51:59Speaker 12: back to the community for the arts and for conservation
- 52:03Speaker 12: in Dallas. And I don't want a penny, but I
- 52:05Speaker 12: hope people will stay on this story. And I appreciate
- 52:09Speaker 12: everybody for keeping their eyes on my on my murals,
- 52:12Speaker 12: it means a lot.
- 52:12Speaker 5: Absolutely follow Wiland Foundation on Instagram and you're just at
- 52:17Speaker 5: Wyland right yeah.
- 52:18Speaker 4: Yeah, wyland dot com if you want to see what
- 52:20Speaker 4: I'm up to.
- 52:21Speaker 1: But perfect.
- 52:22Speaker 12: I'm also going to do one hundred monumental sculptures for
- 52:25Speaker 12: one hundred great cities.
- 52:26Speaker 4: I've done three and Dallas is on my radar.
- 52:29Speaker 5: Well, your work is incredible and we'll follow you. Make
- 52:31Speaker 5: sure you check them out. And I just followed you
- 52:34Speaker 5: and I love what you do, and we'll keep following
- 52:36Speaker 5: the story and pushing it out there because it's important.
- 52:38Speaker 1: And thank you. If you ever need anything from us,
- 52:40Speaker 1: call us. Okay, yeah, I love you guys.
- 52:42Speaker 4: Thanks, Hey, thank you.

- 52:45Speaker 4: Man YouTube man.
- 52:46Speaker 5: I love that he's donating all the money all if
- 52:48Speaker 5: he wins all the We're talking millions, he's going to
- 52:51Speaker 5: pour back into Dallas.
- 52:52Speaker 6: Yeah, amazing.
- 52:53Speaker 1: Not going to take a penny of it. Yeah, incredible.
- 52:56Speaker 1: At Wiland follow him.

- 53:10Speaker 5: By the way, they're saying, this is the best time
- 53:11Speaker 5: to kick off a road trip, like from nine into
- 53:14Speaker 5: eleven am right now. Good if you want to kick
- 53:17Speaker 5: off a road trip, I know a lot of people
- 53:18Speaker 5: are traveling. That's the time to do it. I know
- 53:20Speaker 5: you are, Candas, Yeah, you're leaving here. You're on a
- 53:23Speaker 5: little adventure for Endzo's birthday, which I'm excited for.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Y'all. Road trip time.
- 53:26Speaker 5: Let me ask you this before I get to this call.
- 53:29Speaker 5: If you had to pick three celebrities to take a
- 53:32Speaker 5: road trip with, who would it be? And I'll give
- 53:34Speaker 5: you mine because I'll give you time to think. Okay,
- 53:37Speaker 5: three celebrities to take a road trip with?
- 53:39Speaker 1: Who would it be? I know you'll guess one of mine?
- 53:41Speaker 10: Cannas uhl Langley, Yes.
- 53:46Speaker 5: El Langley Okay, Matthew McConaughey. Oh, because I think you'd
- 53:51Speaker 5: just be funny. Yeah, and you know, just interesting conversation.
- 53:56Speaker 5: And Sophia Vegara what just to get just to get
- 54:01Speaker 5: Pooh mad, because that's his celebrity crush, right, I would
- 54:06Speaker 5: pick her and take her before he could, just to
- 54:08Speaker 5: make him big mad.
- 54:10Speaker 1: What about you, Kenns? Who would your celebs be?
- 54:12Speaker 6: I mean, obviously Lewis Hamilton was to drive?
- 54:15Speaker 1: Okay, he's gonna drive. Your husband's not gonna be happy
- 54:17Speaker 1: about that?
- 54:18Speaker 6: Well, is my husband in the car? Also?
- 54:20Speaker 9: You tell me they'll take turns?
- 54:22Speaker 6: Yeah, they'll trade off.
- 54:24Speaker 7: Okay, Maya Rudolph because I love her and she's funny.
- 54:27Speaker 6: She would provide the laughs on the road, not a
- 54:30Speaker 6: bad one, not bad.
- 54:31Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 54:31Speaker 6: And then I think we need Ed Sheeran because he
- 54:33Speaker 6: can sing while we're on the road.
- 54:35Speaker 1: That's a good combat and.
- 54:36Speaker 6: He has a good accent. Well he and Lewis both do.
- 54:38Speaker 6: But yeah, and then I'll have the snacks.
- 54:40Speaker 5: Well, I don't know if Kim's gonna let Kim Kardashian's
- 54:42Speaker 5: gonna let Louis Hamilton cares.
- 54:46Speaker 6: Yeah, this is our road trip. Okay, it invited.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Well, I don't know she'll let him go.
- 54:51Speaker 6: But that maybe she's in Pooh's road trip.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, she on your three celebrity your dream list
- 54:56Speaker 1: of who's in the car with you on a road trip.
- 54:58Speaker 1: Who would it be rain here? Because Billy as a hater?
- 55:01Speaker 7: Uh?
- 55:02Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle, Oh good one. Uh huh, Martha Stewart mad
- 55:09Speaker 1: oh god, okay fine?
- 55:12Speaker 5: And uh Salma hak okay, okay, Yeah, you know what
- 55:18Speaker 5: I'm gonna do. I'm gonna run a sprinter van. I'm
- 55:20Speaker 5: gonna take them with me first. That okay, be safe
- 55:25Speaker 5: if you're on a road trip. We were talking about
- 55:27Speaker 5: this earth. We were talking about well, I didn't think
- 55:30Speaker 5: it was weird, but some people think it's weird to
- 55:32Speaker 5: eat in.
- 55:33Speaker 1: The shower or have a shower beer before.
- 55:36Speaker 12: You go out.
- 55:36Speaker 1: I don't think it's that strange. Oh, thank you, now,
- 55:39Speaker 1: brook Brook, you do this in the shower. What do
- 55:42Speaker 1: you do you eat?
- 55:42Speaker 5: Her?
- 55:42Speaker 13: Yes, I bathe and eat so, you know, for aesthetic purposes.
- 55:48Speaker 13: You know, you might have that bar over your bath
- 55:51Speaker 13: and you might want to coffee or you read a
- 55:54Speaker 13: book or something.
- 55:55Speaker 6: It's completely exactly how she likes it. No, I know,
- 55:58Speaker 6: exactly across her with a little it's like a little tray.
- 56:01Speaker 1: Well maybe I have a tray across my shower. No, you,
- 56:05Speaker 1: I got a lag.
- 56:05Speaker 5: You know.
- 56:06Speaker 13: Maybe that helps to prevent the crumbs a little bit.
- 56:08Speaker 5: Right, Okay, now let me ask you this, Brook, since
- 56:11Speaker 5: and I don't listen, I I think you should enjoy
- 56:13Speaker 5: your bath time.
- 56:14Speaker 1: I think you've heard it. I think you should do
- 56:16Speaker 1: whatever you want in there. Now, what do you eat?
- 56:18Speaker 13: Of course? So I might have a pop tart or
- 56:21Speaker 13: some fruit.
- 56:24Speaker 5: Little pop tart bath time? Do you do a podcast
- 56:30Speaker 5: or anything a YouTube channel called bathtime with Brook?
- 56:32Speaker 14: No?
- 56:33Speaker 13: I don't, but you know I should get into that.
- 56:35Speaker 1: You should, you really should.
- 56:37Speaker 5: I think you should do it and have a little maybe,
- 56:38Speaker 5: I don't know, pop tart and some maybe Merlow. Yeah,
- 56:41Speaker 5: or you know, parrot something with something classy obviously maybe
- 56:44Speaker 5: a nice box one.
- 56:46Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I'm the.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Most perfect mimosas.
- 56:52Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 56:53Speaker 5: Okay, good for you, Brooke, enjoy it. Now do you
- 56:55Speaker 5: let me ask you this? When you get done with
- 56:56Speaker 5: a bath or before? Do you shower after a bath
- 56:59Speaker 5: or before a bath?
- 57:00Speaker 13: Probably after a rent?
- 57:03Speaker 5: See, you are classy. I knew I liked you, Brook,
- 57:06Speaker 5: Thank you so much. That's what you got to do,
- 57:08Speaker 5: because I don't like the will to bees who don't
- 57:10Speaker 5: shower after a bath. You gotta have a little rint.
- 57:15Speaker 6: Rents after your bath in the bath?
- 57:17Speaker 1: No, how do you do that?
- 57:19Speaker 6: Well, you let the water out and then keep the
- 57:21Speaker 6: thing going and then rents all.
- 57:23Speaker 1: Who in the hell does that?
- 57:25Speaker 5: You spend two hours in the bath tub, so you're
- 57:28Speaker 5: gonna be so you're letting the bath go all the
- 57:30Speaker 5: way down. You're just sitting in the tub alone, naked
- 57:34Speaker 5: with no water splashing yourself. Never do bad time with Candace.
- 57:45Speaker 2: Tough stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid in
- 57:48Speaker 2: the morning only on the New Mixed one or two point.
- 57:51Speaker 5: Nine, Want to only Candace slow pans Everything you need
- 57:54Speaker 5: to know, Candace, Oh my gosh, I'm doing good.
- 57:57Speaker 9: Thanksam.
- 57:58Speaker 6: Yeah, let's talk about the way for the holiday weekend.
- 58:01Speaker 7: Doesn't look like a wash out, but scattered rain and
- 58:03Speaker 7: storms are possible through Memorial Day. They're saying none of
- 58:06Speaker 7: it's expected to be severe, but some rain will be heavy.
- 58:09Speaker 7: Today looks mostly dry, though, We're gonna get up to
- 58:13Speaker 7: eighty five.
- 58:14Speaker 6: So just to heads up if you're making plans.
- 58:16Speaker 1: It's not a washout, but it sucks.
- 58:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 58:18Speaker 1: I don't appreciate it. Yeah, what's up with all this
- 58:21Speaker 1: weather like? I mean, all this clouds and gloom.
- 58:24Speaker 5: I like, no idea spring like this, a run like this,
- 58:27Speaker 5: because it's sane, it might do this at least chance
- 58:29Speaker 5: of rain pretty much every day.
- 58:30Speaker 1: For the next two weeks.
- 58:32Speaker 6: Yeah, we'll see.
- 58:33Speaker 1: What is it?
- 58:33Speaker 9: Elnin maybe so?
- 58:37Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean these weather patterns happen.
- 58:39Speaker 1: You know, are they manufacturing the weather?
- 58:41Speaker 6: Who knows?
- 58:42Speaker 1: At this point, all I want to know is what's
- 58:44Speaker 1: going on? Bill Gates? What are you doing?
- 58:46Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 58:46Speaker 1: What are you doing? Bill Gates? Okay, Candice, go ahead?
- 58:49Speaker 5: So yeah.
- 58:49Speaker 7: Starting tomorrow through Monday, Texans can skip a sales tax
- 58:53Speaker 7: on certain water, water and energy efficient home products and
- 58:56Speaker 7: appliances if they have the Energy Star or Water Send label.
- 59:01Speaker 7: So this goes for air conditioners with a sales price
- 59:03Speaker 7: of six thousand dollars or less, refrigerators two thousand dollars
- 59:06Speaker 7: in under clothes washers, dishwashers, ceiling fans, stuff like light bulbs,
- 59:11Speaker 7: you know, shower heads and faucets.
- 59:12Speaker 6: So, yeah, good time to do some home improvement.
- 59:15Speaker 1: I didn't know. I didn't even know this existed. Yeah,
- 59:17Speaker 1: I didn't either, And I kind of need something. I
- 59:19Speaker 1: need like a new what's called dryer? Oh yeah, mine's
- 59:22Speaker 1: making a weird noise.
- 59:24Speaker 6: Oh no, yeah, it's like, did you clean the filter?
- 59:26Speaker 6: The what the filter?
- 59:28Speaker 1: What's that?
- 59:28Speaker 6: I don't know. There's filters you gotta clean.
- 59:31Speaker 1: That's of course. I've cleaned the lint or the duck,
- 59:34Speaker 1: the one of the things. Yeah, I've cleaned all my
- 59:36Speaker 1: filters connected to the walls. Yes, I've cleaned it. It's
- 59:39Speaker 1: making a noise. It's like, I don't know, it's weird.
- 59:41Speaker 1: It sounds like it's making some kind of noise. It
- 59:46Speaker 1: really is, though, I.
- 59:47Speaker 6: Call somebody for that for sure. Guys.
- 59:50Speaker 7: Dunkin Donuts Viral Ice coffee buckets are out today nationwide.
- 59:54Speaker 6: So these are twelve ninety nine.
- 59:56Speaker 7: You get a forty eight ounce bucket of coffee, but
- 59:58Speaker 7: each location will only have twenty five of these. Remember
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: they were testing these at a few locations in the
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: Northeast a while back.
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: They went viral.
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: If you want one, though, you got to hurry because
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: they haven't said if they're going to restock them or
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: if this is like a one time thing.
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: But you should know they come with one straw. They're
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: not meant to share, and no, they do not fit
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: in your cup holder.
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: So oh and I only need one straw, So it's fine.
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: I mean, that's a big bucket of coffee for one person.
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: Think about it as Starbucks VENTI is twenty four ounces
- 1:00:28Speaker 7: and this is twice that amount.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: So keep this away.
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: I'm gonna tell you right now, keep this away from me.
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: I would go crazy. I would be bouncing off the
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: matter of fact. Actually, I need one. Actually I need one,
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: especially on a Friday.
- 1:00:40Speaker 10: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: Bluebell released their new summer flavor yesterday. Did you guys
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: see this black raspberry fudge? So it's got dark chocolate
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: flavored chunks topped with a chocolate fudge swirled. This is
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: the first raspberry flavor in a few years. Bluebell says
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: this is the perfect combo of a sweet yet tart
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: black raspberry ice cream that blends perfectly with the chocolate.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I mean, not bad, not bad, but it doesn't sound
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: great to me. I'll be honest. I don't know why.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: I'm just not a big fan of like chocolate in
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: my ice cream.
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: Oh see, I am.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I'm not a big fan of chocolate. Honestly, that's wild.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: I barely eat chocolate ever.
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: Woo.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: I like you? Yeah, I know what he's gonna say.
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: You like me?
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Yeah, you're great.
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: Oh no, I have a chocolate bar at all times.
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: I just break a piece off here and there, like
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: a little tike, a little bite, a little corner.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Do you really? Yeah? Purse?
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: No, like in the fridge, in the pantry.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: Oh okay, Yeah. What's your favorite ice cream?
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: My favorite ice cream? Bluebell Rocky Road.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I just you know what's weird? Is I just
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: like Bluebell Vanilla?
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: Me too? Vanilla regular homemade vanilla. Bluebell has the best
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: vanilla ice for sure.
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: You can't go wrong with it.
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: But enjoy your ice cream this holiday weekend. I'm Kanda Slopez.
- 1:01:53Speaker 7: Those are your Texas top stories on mix one of
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: two point nine I take.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: And when we talk about food, Poog, it's just so
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: creepy in.
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: The and I have two food ish, I know, two stories.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Stories, and you just hear in the background going mmm.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: I mean I love Bluebell ice cream. Hell, but you
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: don't have to make all the sound.
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: Brought it up here yesterday they did.
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: Yeah, Oh, where were we in here?
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: We didn't get a kitchen. Yeah, it was in the
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: kitchen like nine thirty.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: Let me ask a very important question, Yeah, poo, did
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: you get some? Nope? Liar, I swear I did.
- 1:02:21Speaker 8: I bet pood will tell us I wouldn't go get
- 1:02:23Speaker 8: some and leave y'all hanging out.
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: You would never do that, Are you kidding, Cannie? You
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: would never go to the kitchen and get food and
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: not bring us some.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Food here. I make sure y'all he does. Don't do it.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Don't do it, you know it.
- 1:02:41Speaker 5: Somebody a little birdie told me that you took a
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: pine home. No I didn't, and I didn't get any.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: No, I would never do you like that. Why don't
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: they give us any?
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: Cannis, I don't know it was in there. We just
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: forgot I think because we were on the air.
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: Usually they bring it at ten when we're off the air,
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: but they brought on so everybody probably scooped.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: It up everybody else. I see what you did there.
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: This is dirty Little Secrets.
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: Mix one oh two point nine with one thousand dollars
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: coming up next. If you want a grand and we
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: got money all day, fat stacks of cash on the forties,
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: every single hour, pretty much all day long, going into
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: long holiday weekend. You need some cash, you get some
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: natty lights or whatever you do to celebrate yas.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that'll be a half a tank one thousand dollars.
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: Let's go, all right, and if you got a secret
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: eight three three seven, eight seven and one oh two nine,
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: you can always confess to us.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: And you have one. You said it's pretty funny, so
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: let's go.
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's hilarious.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: I think I pretty much get paid to sleep.
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: Oh my dream job.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: You get paid to sleep?
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: Literally a dream job?
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Yes, I do? Okay, Well I like that, Yeah, Poo's
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: dream job as well. Anyway, So what do you do?
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: So?
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: I work overnight security for a massive corporation. I mean
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: you would definitely recognize if I said the name.
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: I did not expect that, No, I did not expect
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: thought this was a sleep study. Definitely not your top
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: flight security. Okay, so yeah, what are you securing?
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: What is going on over there?
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: It's just a massive area they have, you know, a
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: huge parking garage, office campus. And yeah, my whole job
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: is basically to make sure nothing crazy happens overnight. And
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: of course nothing ever happens overnight. So like, after a while,
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: I just realized I was sitting there miserable, trying to
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: stay awake for no reason. So, you know, I'm making
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: do some money just to exist there.
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: So I sleep in my truck.
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: Like, wow, are you supposed to be watching the cameras
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: or doing.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Something in the building.
- 1:04:48Speaker 11: I mean, I am, I'm you know, I just I
- 1:04:51Speaker 11: usually sleep for like half my shift.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: I'm not, like, you know, the whole thing.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: What But that's insane? So will you just go in
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: your truck and disappear?
- 1:05:03Speaker 11: I mean yeah, pretty much. I have like a mattress
- 1:05:05Speaker 11: that fits in there.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: It's perfect a mattress.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Wait, you got a mattress in your truck?
- 1:05:11Speaker 11: I do, Yeah, if it's in the back seat.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: It's like made specifically for my truck.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: I know what you're talking about.
- 1:05:17Speaker 10: Yeah, a lot the heck, and no one's ever caught
- 1:05:21Speaker 10: you or startled you.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: I mean no. And also I want to say that
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: like any overnight security and most gigs do the exact
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: same thing as me. So I just want to out
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: there I'm not the only one. I know I'm not,
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: and but yeah, no, I just I have like a
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: whole routine, and you know, I put my radio next
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: to my head in case something happens, and nothing ever happens.
- 1:05:50Speaker 11: So like I said, and yeah, best sleep in my life.
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: I bet that'd be the worst sleep of my life.
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: I'd be so nervous.
- 1:05:58Speaker 9: No, he's I was going to go down.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Sounds so chill about it, Like I'm enjoying myself having
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: a good time. Like right, so eight hour shift, he's
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: sleeping before four hours?
- 1:06:07Speaker 14: Is it?
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Wait a minute, is this our security guard here?
- 1:06:10Speaker 14: I know.
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: He only fell asleep once.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: No, I walk by, but.
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: He's he does it in the open, he does it
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: at the security desk. I've walked by and trying to
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: be quiet because I don't want to wake him up.
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: In the meantime, we had a carget stolen out of
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: our whole coffee truck. That makes deliveries was stolen, and
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: this guy's.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: I'll come up the elevator and I see him sleep
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: and I just cleared my throat. Oh see I'm sleeping.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: You're rude.
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: No, he needs to watch the building.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Well, tell this guy.
- 1:06:43Speaker 10: Watch your building too.
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: I mean I do, but it's like if something happens,
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: I mean, what am I supposed to do? They gave
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: they gave me a flashlight in Mace. I'm not enough
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: to be batman.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Oh god, I mean that's a fair point. I'm gonna
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: shine your lights.
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: Your eyes out, buddy, I got the brightest flashlight in Dallas.
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: No, thank you?
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, you're not going to risk it all for
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: your job.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: No, I'm gonna call the cops like everybody else.
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: That's exactly what I'm gonna do.
- 1:07:18Speaker 10: All right.
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: I appreciate your honesty. That Craigs flashlight in Mace. You
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: get a lot with Mace though, Yeah, that's all right.
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: Lights led Well, I mean hopefully you get paid a
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: decent amount, you get to sleep a little bit, and
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: good for you. So I will let you go so
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: you can get back to your beauty. Wrestler, you're not
- 1:07:39Speaker 5: working right now, are you know? You work overnight. So
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: you're not working right now, Well tonight you'll sleep well,
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: sleep well tonight, I will.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: You got some snacks back there too, what, Yeah, I
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: got everything. Good for you. I've got all like.
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: Yeah, you're basically camp like a little stand for my phone.
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: Yeah, you're urban camping. You're a pioneer. Well, thank you,
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: and let us know if you ever get busted. I'd
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: love to follow up on this one.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: Okay, definitely will all right, Well, thank you so much. Yeah, hey,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: thank you guys.
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: By the way, not all our security guards sleep. No,
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: we have some great security guards.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Just one when we first get I don't think he works.
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: Here anymore though, but I don't know for sure while
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: but yeah, no, literally a whole The coffee guy who
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: comes in here drops off coffee in the morning, came in,
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: left his truck out there, went.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Back out, and it was gone down the street.
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: A homeless guy stole the coffee truck from out front
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: of our building and took off and went on a
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: high speed actually a slow speed chase.
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: Yeah, they got him, right, I took it and the
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: cameras were watching it.
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: By the way, Candice, Not only did they get him,
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: they called the coffee company. The cops did, and they
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: can control the truck and.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Shut it off.
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: No. Yeah, so they just shut the truck off and
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: this guy's like, uh what now he went to jail
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: and not even get one thing of coffee? Yeah, immediately,
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: dummy one's trout to get out of here. It's mixed
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: one O two point nine and Bill with a Kid.
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: Candae Loanpez producer Phoo. Have a great, safe holiday weekend, Candace,
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: Please be safe on your road trip. Happy birthday to
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: your son and birthday. Yeah, we love Enzo. Eight years old.
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: I can't believe it growing up before our eyes. Poo's
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: got underwear older than eight years old.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: What do you? What do you got planned this weekend?
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: Poo?
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: What are you doing anyway?
- 1:09:36Speaker 8: I'm gonna try to spend some time with my kids
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: to allow it. Yeah, yeah, I got daddy duty this weekend.
- 1:09:42Speaker 8: So okay, hopefully.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I know my son has parties. He's like, I'm kind
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: of busy guy. They got pool parties in there.
- 1:09:48Speaker 6: I'm like, for this.
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: I was like, you want a fish or something. He's like,
- 1:09:52Speaker 5: I don't know, I'm pretty busy. I'm like, okay, it's
- 1:09:54Speaker 5: all good, but you know, but have a good weekend,
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: be safe. Remember what it's all about. I didn't even
- 1:09:58Speaker 5: know this till the other day that officially, you know,
- 1:10:01Speaker 5: at three o'clock on Monday, we're supposed to do a
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: moment of silence for those who you know, gave their
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: lives fighting for our country Memorial Day. I didn't know that,
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: so three pm that's a thing.
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: So just didn't know that either.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Maybe take a minute to remember why we do this.
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: I know we tend to go, oh, well, let's party,
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: let's have a good time, which is cool, but it's
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: all about remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Speaking
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: of that, you know, talking about my son and something
- 1:10:25Speaker 5: that's just weighing heavy on my mind. And he's going
- 1:10:27Speaker 5: through a tough time, and so many people in Alito
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: are going through a tough time because that community is broken. Yesterday,
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: a couple of days ago, actually they lost a student
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: at the middle school, Braiden Martin, and I want to
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: say to his family and to his friend's rest in peace,
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: we're thinking about them. My son spoke highly of Braiden.
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: It's just incredibly sad that he tragically passed away. Yeah,
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: I know, he played baseball, for the Wildcatters and played
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: football with my son and I can't even imagine.
- 1:11:00Speaker 6: Yeah, that pain is unthinkable.
- 1:11:02Speaker 5: I can't imagine what they're going through and what his
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: family's going through. So no, we're thinking about you and
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: the entire community out there in Alito because it's tough,
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: so think about that. Please be safe this week. And
- 1:11:14Speaker 5: I want to bring down the room, but I feel
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: like it's worth mentioning. So we'll see you have a
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: great weekend.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Bye.
