- 0:07Speaker 4: This is the Big Boss Dog, Snoopy, Deco, Double Jizzle. Bang, boom,
- 0:11Speaker 4: what you gonna do?
- 0:12Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich.
- 0:13Speaker 4: We're not talking about Ren 1010.
- 0:14Speaker 1: We're not talking about Lassie.
- 0:16Speaker 5: It's the one and only dog, y'all.
- 0:17Speaker 4: The classy, sassy, big Snoopy, Deco, Double Jizzle. In your
- 0:20Speaker 4: face to me and in the place to be. And
- 0:22Speaker 4: you're listening to John Jay and Rich. Wake your ass up.
- 0:25Speaker 6: Rich, what's National What Day today?
- 0:28Speaker 7: Well, it is National Just Because Day. That's somebody who
- 0:31Speaker 7: needed a day to fill, and they just put in
- 0:32Speaker 7: just because.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Just because. Just because.
- 0:34Speaker 7: It's National... Peach Day. And I don't know what this is,
- 0:38Speaker 7: but it's National Pots to Creme Day. And here's one.
- 0:42Speaker 7: This is one of those things that I don't think
- 0:44Speaker 7: I'm good at. A lot of people think they are
- 0:45Speaker 7: good at. And we should try it out amongst ourselves.
- 0:49Speaker 7: It is World Rock, Paper, Scissors Day. A little competition.
- 0:52Speaker 6: Let's do a round real quick.
- 0:53Speaker 4: Amongst the crew.
- 0:54Speaker 6: All of us right now.
- 0:56Speaker 8: Rock, paper, scissors, shoot or just rock, paper, scissors?
- 0:58Speaker 4: Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. Rock, paper, scissors. Well, it goes rock, paper,
- 1:00Speaker 4: scissors and then shoot is what? Shoot is when you display.
- 1:04Speaker 9: Okay, go.
- 1:04Speaker 10: Row on two, three, and then display whatever.
- 1:06Speaker 4: You're going to display.
- 1:06Speaker 6: Yeah, rock, paper, scissors, shoot. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:08Speaker 5: Go.
- 1:09Speaker 4: Okay, ready? Rock, paper, scissors, shoot.
- 1:12Speaker 6: Okay, so Kyle and Peyton, you're both out. You did scissors.
- 1:14Speaker 6: We did scissors. You did scissors, so it's just Rich
- 1:16Speaker 6: and me.
- 1:16Speaker 10: Ready?
- 1:17Speaker 8: I was shooting John Jay.
- 1:19Speaker 6: That's a gun. It's called rock, paper, scissors. Okay, you're out.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. What did you do? I did paper.
- 1:26Speaker 4: I forgot this is dynamite. Paper puts out dynamite. What? Okay,
- 1:30Speaker 4: so you.
- 1:30Speaker 8: Could do dynamite.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Dynamite's not a thing.
- 1:32Speaker 8: But I can't do, I can't shoot you.
- 1:34Speaker 7: From the studio?
- 1:34Speaker 4: No, that's, that's, that's.
- 1:35Speaker 10: Well, dynamite and guns.
- 1:36Speaker 8: That's the same exact concept.
- 1:37Speaker 10: It's rock, paper, scissors.
- 1:38Speaker 11: All right.
- 1:38Speaker 10: There's only three options, you guys.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Hold on, hold on. Peyton is fighting the argument. I know,
- 1:43Speaker 4: I made a mistake.
- 1:44Speaker 12: Oh.
- 1:44Speaker 10: Oh, I thought you were saying that was a thing.
- 1:47Speaker 7: No, no, no, no.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Hold on. Dynamite is a thing. It just wasn't part
- 1:50Speaker 4: of this game. Normally, you bring it up.
- 1:53Speaker 11: Whatever.
- 1:54Speaker 4: So I screwed up. Because dynamite is one finger. Dynamite
- 1:58Speaker 4: blows up rock.
- 1:59Speaker 13: Right?
- 1:59Speaker 4: But paper puts out dynamite. And scissors cuts the wick
- 2:02Speaker 4: off dynamite. You would think that the dynamite would catch
- 2:04Speaker 4: the paper on fire.
- 2:05Speaker 10: I've never heard that before. It was only just rock, paper, scissors.
- 2:08Speaker 7: Challenge people in your workplace today as you go around
- 2:11Speaker 7: and try to win and get some real money.
- 2:13Speaker 10: I like this, though. Let's do rock, paper, scissors, but
- 2:15Speaker 10: then everyone make up your own thing.
- 2:17Speaker 4: I like that. That game name is making a lot
- 2:20Speaker 4: of sense. Speaking of paint, I've got to tell you,
- 2:22Speaker 4: we have this thing, a little behind the scenes of
- 2:23Speaker 4: the radio show. What is this document called that we
- 2:25Speaker 4: all jump on? It's just like a Google Doc. It's
- 2:28Speaker 4: a Google Doc, and everybody participates and kind of shares
- 2:29Speaker 4: things going on in their life. And then we decided
- 2:31Speaker 4: to bring it up on the air and not bring
- 2:32Speaker 4: it up on the air. And Peyton put something on
- 2:34Speaker 4: that I had to read three times because I didn't
- 2:35Speaker 4: understand it. She said, as I get older.
- 2:39Speaker 8: As I get older, I want less people to see
- 2:42Speaker 8: my hoo-ha.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Okay.
- 2:44Speaker 10: So when you're younger, you wanted a lot of people
- 2:46Speaker 10: to see the hoo-ha?
- 2:47Speaker 4: That's what I saw. I read that a whole different
- 2:48Speaker 4: bunch of different ways. Like, what do you mean?
- 2:51Speaker 8: When I was younger, I probably would let you see
- 2:54Speaker 8: my hoo-ha.
- 2:54Speaker 7: No, probably not. Why would you?
- 2:57Speaker 14: Why?
- 2:57Speaker 4: Why?
- 2:58Speaker 8: I'm just saying, when you're younger... Uh-huh. You're probably like
- 3:02Speaker 8: sleeping around. You're doing your thing. And now as I'm older,
- 3:06Speaker 8: I want less people to see my hoo-ha.
- 3:07Speaker 4: That's because you're married now.
- 3:08Speaker 10: Well, exactly. I was going to say, is it because
- 3:11Speaker 10: you're older or is it because you're married?
- 3:13Speaker 4: Right. I'm sure your husband would agree. Not everybody needs
- 3:16Speaker 4: to see the hoo-ha. And people seeing your hoo-ha, is
- 3:19Speaker 4: that like, hey, man, it's Thursday. It's hoo-ha night. Do
- 3:23Speaker 4: you guys want to.
- 3:24Speaker 10: Come over and see my hoo-ha?
- 3:26Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Well, you're getting older.
- 3:27Speaker 6: Maybe not.
- 3:28Speaker 8: No, the reason that I put that in there. I
- 3:31Speaker 8: put that in there. Because it was just my birthday,
- 3:34Speaker 8: and with my birthday comes my annual gynecologist appointment.
- 3:38Speaker 11: Oh.
- 3:39Speaker 14: Okay?
- 3:39Speaker 10: Mine's coming up, too.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 3:41Speaker 8: So as I get older, I want less people to
- 3:44Speaker 8: see my hoo-ha. So I was really upset when I
- 3:46Speaker 8: had a new nurse because I'm tired. I feel like
- 3:49Speaker 8: every time I go and get my annual, there is
- 3:50Speaker 8: a new nurse that is giving me my annual, and
- 3:52Speaker 8: I don't want them to see my hoo-ha.
- 3:54Speaker 7: Well, that says more about the turnover.
- 3:55Speaker 10: But that's like a medical thing, I feel like.
- 3:57Speaker 8: But still, why can't my doctors or my nurses just stay?
- 4:01Speaker 8: Why does it have to be a new person every
- 4:02Speaker 8: single time doing a deep dive in my cabin?
- 4:05Speaker 10: Like, seriously.
- 4:07Speaker 6: Do the nurses do that or the doctor does that?
- 4:08Speaker 8: Like, whatever the gyno doctor is.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Is it a new doctor?
- 4:13Speaker 8: Yeah, the lady that did mine last year, I got
- 4:16Speaker 8: to my appointment.
- 4:17Speaker 10: They were like, oh.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Dr.
- 4:19Speaker 10: Blah, blah, blah left.
- 4:20Speaker 8: You're going to have Dr.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Da, da, da.
- 4:21Speaker 8: And I said, you said that last time.
- 4:23Speaker 6: Okay, but it's the doctor, though.
- 4:25Speaker 8: Yeah, it's the person that does the thing.
- 4:26Speaker 6: Carl from the lobby.
- 4:27Speaker 10: The doctor.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Go in, I'll take a look. It's a doctor, so
- 4:33Speaker 4: it's a doctor. Like, Kyle's got the doctor that does it,
- 4:35Speaker 4: and by the way, he's like friends with her husband. Exactly.
- 4:38Speaker 4: We'll go together.
- 4:39Speaker 10: That is weird.
- 4:40Speaker 8: Every time you go to the gyno, do you have
- 4:41Speaker 8: the same gyno?
- 4:42Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 4:42Speaker 8: I have not had that issue yet.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Like, for years, right, Kyle?
- 4:45Speaker 8: I have a new gyno, and a new gyno has
- 4:46Speaker 8: to see my hoo-ha, and I don't want him to
- 4:48Speaker 8: see my hoo-ha. I just want a gyno like Kyle's
- 4:51Speaker 8: that can stick around.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Well, then you need to find me.
- 4:53Speaker 8: Come over to Dr. Bogue's office.
- 4:55Speaker 4: They've been there for a while. Very few turnovers here.
- 4:57Speaker 10: And then the guy that goes golfing with my husband
- 5:01Speaker 10: will have seen mine and yours together.
- 5:04Speaker 4: That's half the show. Not together at the same time.
- 5:07Speaker 10: Not together at the same time.
- 5:08Speaker 6: You guys tried to get a two for one.
- 5:10Speaker 7: That sounds like a weird try at Tuesday.
- 5:11Speaker 10: Although, can we get a discount? I did.
- 5:14Speaker 8: I had a lot of emotions at my gynecology appointment,
- 5:16Speaker 8: for one, because I didn't want this new mystery lady
- 5:19Speaker 8: to see my hoo-ha. And then for two, apparently I'm
- 5:22Speaker 8: at the age where she asked me, she's like, are
- 5:24Speaker 8: you sure you want to redo all of your birth
- 5:28Speaker 8: control packs?
- 5:29Speaker 15: Oh, yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Is that the time you start thinking about babies?
- 5:31Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 5:31Speaker 8: I was like, is that the age that I'm at?
- 5:33Speaker 8: And she was like, mm-hmm, yeah.
- 5:34Speaker 7: Should probably start thinking about it. I mean, now's the time, right?
- 5:37Speaker 6: Kyle's kind of has it.
- 5:39Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 5:39Speaker 8: I feel like people are having babies way later nowadays.
- 5:42Speaker 10: Yeah, you got plenty of time.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Why are you trying to, I'm down, but why are
- 5:46Speaker 4: you trying to push it on me? Kyle's got a
- 5:47Speaker 4: calendar appointment for her appointment. She's all excited and everybody,
- 5:49Speaker 4: he has it written down in his house. He's got
- 5:51Speaker 4: that big ass calendar with just one date on it.
- 5:53Speaker 10: Not correct.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Kyle unplugged his gyno appointment.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Yay!
- 5:57Speaker 6: He puts a little yay on there.
- 5:58Speaker 4: She's in his hoo-ha hall of fame.
- 6:01Speaker 14: No.
- 6:01Speaker 4: Little, little star stickers on it. He's like, yo, what's up?
- 6:05Speaker 4: He's like, he shaves and gets all hair.
- 6:07Speaker 10: Cut and gets all dressed up.
- 6:10Speaker 7: He's very professional.
- 6:11Speaker 11: Dr.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Smith, you're in such a good mood today.
- 6:14Speaker 6: What's going on?
- 6:14Speaker 4: Kyle Unflank's coming in today.
- 6:16Speaker 7: Oh, do-do-do-do.
- 6:18Speaker 4: It's a happy day.
- 6:20Speaker 8: It is wild, though, that you're like as friends with
- 6:21Speaker 8: your husband because I just don't, I don't know how
- 6:23Speaker 8: I could talk to someone who has like seen my
- 6:26Speaker 8: partner's regions.
- 6:27Speaker 14: I know.
- 6:28Speaker 7: I know.
- 6:29Speaker 10: But Scott, Scott handles it very well.
- 6:32Speaker 6: And the doctor relationship.
- 6:34Speaker 14: You did.
- 6:37Speaker 10: You did.
- 6:38Speaker 6: Hoo-ha joke.
- 6:40Speaker 16: Hoo-ha.
- 6:41Speaker 11: Hoo-ha.
- 6:41Speaker 2: On that note.
- 6:43Speaker 6: On that note. John Jay and Rich.
- 6:45Speaker 10: Good morning.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Wake up every morning.
- 6:47Speaker 10: Start your day with.
- 6:48Speaker 7: John Jay and Rich.
- 6:48Speaker 10: I wake up with my favorite artist. Hey, this is
- 6:51Speaker 10: Sabrina Carpenter.
- 6:51Speaker 16: What's up, guys?
- 6:52Speaker 4: This is Post Malone. It's Benson Boone, and you're waking
- 6:55Speaker 4: up with John Jay and Rich.
- 6:56Speaker 6: Hey, what's the vibe for Pace Predictions for Horoscopes?
- 6:58Speaker 8: Well, I am breaking down the exact area where your
- 7:01Speaker 8: zodiac sign needs to do a deep clean. and we
- 7:03Speaker 8: are in Virgo season. So if it's your birthday today,
- 7:06Speaker 8: you are a Virgo and you share a birthday with
- 7:07Speaker 8: Ariana Greenblatt, Rod Wave, Alexa Pena Vega, Kim Petras, Mario,
- 7:12Speaker 8: and Brianna Stewart. And John Jay, your birthday's coming up
- 7:14Speaker 8: too because you're a Virgo. So I feel like we
- 7:16Speaker 8: should maybe start with you.
- 7:16Speaker 6: Well, I think there's a Virgo on the phone.
- 7:18Speaker 10: Oh, yay.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Carlos, you a Virgo or someone in your family's a Virgo?
- 7:21Speaker 4: my son's birthday oh it's his.
- 7:23Speaker 8: Birthday happy birthday to your son okay i will do
- 7:27Speaker 8: your son's reading and then john jay's reading as well
- 7:30Speaker 8: because they are virgos so virgos you guys actually need
- 7:33Speaker 8: to clean up your self-talk today you are running the
- 7:36Speaker 8: show right now but your internal critic is being way
- 7:39Speaker 8: too harsh so definitely give yourself some credit for how
- 7:41Speaker 8: much you're actually accomplishing and getting done during your season Okay.
- 7:45Speaker 4: All right, Carlos.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 7:46Speaker 4: You're welcome.
- 7:48Speaker 10: You're welcome.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Happy birthday.
- 7:51Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 7:52Speaker 4: You got it.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Heidi, what's your sign?
- 7:54Speaker 4: Good morning.
- 7:55Speaker 17: I'm Aries.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Okay.
- 7:56Speaker 8: So for my Aries today, you guys got to clean
- 7:59Speaker 8: up your daily schedule. You have been burning the candle
- 8:01Speaker 8: at both ends, and you really have to stop overcommitting
- 8:04Speaker 8: and really focus on finishing the one thing that you've
- 8:06Speaker 8: been putting off for the last.
- 8:07Speaker 10: Couple of weeks.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Awesome. Thank you. Thanks, Heidi.
- 8:11Speaker 6: Hi, Crystal.
- 8:12Speaker 14: Hello.
- 8:12Speaker 6: What's your sign?
- 8:14Speaker 13: Capricorn.
- 8:15Speaker 8: All right, Capricorns, the thing that you need to clean
- 8:17Speaker 8: up is actually your long-term plans. You've got to narrow
- 8:20Speaker 8: down and focus on two or three realistic goals instead
- 8:23Speaker 8: of trying to conquer like 10 different massive projects.
- 8:26Speaker 14: Okay.
- 8:29Speaker 4: She sounds like she feels like she yelled at her.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I know.
- 8:31Speaker 10: I was like, I am just the messenger.
- 8:34Speaker 18: I'm actually.
- 8:36Speaker 1: I understand.
- 8:37Speaker 12: I'm actually started a business and stuff that I'm working on.
- 8:41Speaker 8: Oh, that's awesome. Hey, I mean, lock it down, figure
- 8:44Speaker 8: it out, get your plans, and you will be all good.
- 8:46Speaker 12: Thank you.
- 8:47Speaker 6: Good luck, Crystal. Thanks for calling in.
- 8:49Speaker 12: Thank you.
- 8:50Speaker 6: How about Pisces?
- 8:51Speaker 8: Pisces.
- 8:51Speaker 11: Rich.
- 8:52Speaker 8: Clean up your expectations in your relationships today. You really
- 8:55Speaker 8: have to like swap your cinematic visions that you have
- 8:59Speaker 8: for people for like real world things. You need to
- 9:01Speaker 8: pay attention for the people that are showing up for
- 9:03Speaker 8: you consistently because that's where you need to put your energy.
- 9:06Speaker 7: Listen, if you are in this cinematic vision of my future,
- 9:08Speaker 7: that's good for you. That's good things.
- 9:10Speaker 10: Look at that.
- 9:11Speaker 4: I shall not change. How about Leo's?
- 9:14Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm a Leo. So Leos, we need to clean
- 9:17Speaker 8: up our spending habits today. We have to look at
- 9:19Speaker 8: our financial choices and cut out those impulses, impulsive buys
- 9:23Speaker 8: and really like focus on building a real buffer for
- 9:26Speaker 8: our future, which is like so annoying. But I get it.
- 9:30Speaker 6: How about Libras?
- 9:31Speaker 8: Kyle for Libras. You got to clean up what's going
- 9:34Speaker 8: on in your head today. You have a lot of
- 9:35Speaker 8: mental clutter. So take a break from like trying to
- 9:37Speaker 8: keep everyone else happy. Maybe a social media cleanse will
- 9:40Speaker 8: do you good and keep yourself at a full battery.
- 9:44Speaker 10: Okay, but there's like 2,000 tabs open.
- 9:46Speaker 14: I know.
- 9:47Speaker 8: Clean them out.
- 9:48Speaker 10: Where do you even begin?
- 9:48Speaker 4: If we didn't get to your sign there, I'll post
- 9:50Speaker 4: it on our website, johnjainrich.com.
- 9:58Speaker 7: Eric, good morning.
- 10:00Speaker 6: You're on the air.
- 10:01Speaker 14: Hi.
- 10:02Speaker 5: Hi.
- 10:02Speaker 6: All right, so.
- 10:04Speaker 15: You want to hear my horror story?
- 10:07Speaker 4: So you're talking, so we were getting into this the
- 10:09Speaker 4: other day. We were talking about, like, do-it-yourself horror stories.
- 10:13Speaker 6: You have one?
- 10:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:15Speaker 6: Okay, what is it?
- 10:16Speaker 15: Okay, so when I was married.
- 10:19Speaker 5: um with this girl uh we we decided to get
- 10:23Speaker 5: a cat instead of having a child because i told
- 10:27Speaker 5: her i wasn't ready for that and she was like
- 10:29Speaker 5: okay and so like i bonded with this cat over
- 10:32Speaker 5: like the period.
- 10:32Speaker 15: Of three months and this cat i swear to god
- 10:36Speaker 15: knows english and so i.
- 10:39Speaker 14: Was like this cat's awesome one day my wife stepped
- 10:43Speaker 14: on his tail accidentally and And he ran straight into
- 10:47Speaker 14: the room crying.
- 10:48Speaker 15: And I chased after him, but I was trying to
- 10:50Speaker 15: be slow enough so that way he wouldn't get scared.
- 10:54Speaker 15: And he saw me. And ever since that day, he
- 10:57Speaker 15: thought I was the one that stepped on him. And
- 11:00Speaker 15: he broke our relationship. And then he ran away.
- 11:07Speaker 4: So where is the do-it-yourself part here?
- 11:09Speaker 15: I have autism. Can you explain what that means?
- 11:15Speaker 4: Well, the segment was do it yourself fails like you're
- 11:18Speaker 4: working on something. You're trying to rebuild something and it broke.
- 11:21Speaker 4: But I mean, you were caught.
- 11:22Speaker 15: I got one of those two.
- 11:23Speaker 13: Great.
- 11:24Speaker 15: I hear stuff different.
- 11:26Speaker 4: That's OK.
- 11:27Speaker 15: So I was inventing a spiritual device like electronic device. OK.
- 11:32Speaker 14: OK.
- 11:33Speaker 4: I like this.
- 11:35Speaker 15: What's up?
- 11:35Speaker 4: Like this. Go ahead.
- 11:36Speaker 6: I like this a lot.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 11:38Speaker 15: Okay, yeah, so it's a spirituality, like, tool.
- 11:41Speaker 14: It's not to contact spirits, it's to harness their energy
- 11:45Speaker 14: so that they can continue.
- 11:46Speaker 15: Living life for free. And then, so yeah, so I
- 11:50Speaker 15: call it quantum plating. And so I got finished with
- 11:54Speaker 15: my prototype, I turned it on, and then... I don't
- 12:00Speaker 15: know what happened. It fell out of my head and broke,
- 12:02Speaker 15: and it didn't work anymore.
- 12:03Speaker 7: How do you know?
- 12:04Speaker 4: How do you know it didn't work if it's harnessing
- 12:06Speaker 4: things you can't see?
- 12:07Speaker 6: And how do you know it did work?
- 12:09Speaker 15: Oh, that's a good idea.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe it did work.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Haven't you heard about that?
- 12:12Speaker 15: No, I'm going to have to.
- 12:13Speaker 5: Go with that.
- 12:14Speaker 7: So haven't you heard about the CERN experiment in 2014
- 12:16Speaker 7: where they turned on this particle collider and nothing they
- 12:21Speaker 7: say happened? But a lot of people think that's when
- 12:24Speaker 7: the world split into different dimensions. And that's why we
- 12:26Speaker 7: remember the Bernstein Bears and the Bearstein Bears differently.
- 12:30Speaker 8: The Mandela Theory.
- 12:31Speaker 4: The Mandela Effect.
- 12:32Speaker 11: Oh, yeah.
- 12:33Speaker 4: Because the world split.
- 12:34Speaker 15: Conspiracies all day.
- 12:36Speaker 7: What if you launched us into a different dimension and
- 12:38Speaker 7: you just haven't been able to put your finger on
- 12:40Speaker 7: what dimension you're in?
- 12:42Speaker 15: I got an idea. God was so proud of me
- 12:45Speaker 15: out of all the cool stuff I invented that he
- 12:47Speaker 15: decided to punish me with the will to invent and
- 12:51Speaker 15: never to have.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Well, Tarek, we're glad you listened. Thanks for calling in.
- 12:55Speaker 4: Have a great day.
- 12:55Speaker 15: You're welcome. I'm a great guy.
- 12:57Speaker 5: You guys are great.
- 12:58Speaker 15: I love y'all. Y'all have a wonderful time. Thank you.
- 13:00Speaker 4: All right.
- 13:01Speaker 6: I like that ending it. Hey, I'm a great guy.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Call you later. Hey, I'm a great guy.
- 13:06Speaker 8: Let's go to the beach.
- 13:08Speaker 10: Let's go get away.
- 13:09Speaker 15: Bye.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Kathy, you're in the doghouse.
- 13:15Speaker 6: Are you in the doghouse or someone's in the doghouse?
- 13:18Speaker 12: My husband's been in the doghouse for about 15 years
- 13:21Speaker 12: right now.
- 13:21Speaker 6: Whoa, what'd he do?
- 13:22Speaker 12: Well, my mom was born in the 50s, and she
- 13:27Speaker 12: was given a doll by her grandmother, so my great-grandmother.
- 13:30Speaker 12: So this doll is that old. And she gave it
- 13:35Speaker 12: to me. I played with it like crazy when I
- 13:38Speaker 12: was young. It was like one of those hard plastic dolls.
- 13:41Speaker 12: The eyes opened and shut. It didn't have eyelashes anymore.
- 13:44Speaker 12: It was just beat up. It had some broken toes,
- 13:48Speaker 12: but it was my mom's doll that was given to
- 13:50Speaker 12: her by my great-grandmother, so I was not getting rid
- 13:52Speaker 12: of it. And I had it in my daughter's room,
- 13:55Speaker 12: our youngest daughter's room.
- 13:56Speaker 13: It was just there.
- 13:57Speaker 12: It wasn't in the way. It didn't bother anybody. And
- 14:01Speaker 12: he decided to go in there and help her clean
- 14:03Speaker 12: out her room. Well, she was like five. So he
- 14:05Speaker 12: went and he goes, why is your mom holding on
- 14:08Speaker 12: to this? Why do you have this? And she said, well,
- 14:10Speaker 12: it's mommy's doll. He threw it away. without telling me anything.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:18Speaker 12: My mom, I still get emotional about it. My mom,
- 14:22Speaker 12: I can't even tell my mom. She'd be devastated because
- 14:25Speaker 12: it was from her great grandmother. And I didn't find
- 14:28Speaker 12: out about it till like over a year later.
- 14:31Speaker 7: Oh, so it's not like you could go back through
- 14:33Speaker 7: the trash because it.
- 14:34Speaker 4: Was long gone.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 14:37Speaker 12: So I was in her room one time and I
- 14:39Speaker 12: was helping her arrange things and get rid of toys, put,
- 14:43Speaker 12: you know, for new toys or whatever. And I noticed
- 14:45Speaker 12: the doll was gone. Like, wait, where's my doll? And
- 14:49Speaker 12: she says, she got real quiet and she didn't want
- 14:51Speaker 12: to say anything. And I'm like, where's my doll? Do
- 14:53Speaker 12: you know where my doll is? And she says, daddy
- 14:55Speaker 12: threw it away. And I'm like, and so then I
- 14:59Speaker 12: confronted him and I'm like, where is it? When did
- 15:02Speaker 12: you throw it away? And he goes, that was like
- 15:04Speaker 12: a year ago.
- 15:05Speaker 17: Like no big deal.
- 15:07Speaker 12: Didn't care.
- 15:08Speaker 15: I was devastated.
- 15:09Speaker 12: I'm still devastated.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I can tell.
- 15:11Speaker 12: So he's been in the doghouse for like, yeah, it's
- 15:14Speaker 12: been about 15 years now.
- 15:15Speaker 8: So wait, what does your husband do to try to
- 15:17Speaker 8: make up for that? Did he do anything? Because obviously
- 15:20Speaker 8: I'm assuming you got emotional about it.
- 15:23Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 15:24Speaker 12: And he just apologized. He just thinks it's just no
- 15:27Speaker 12: big deal. It's just a doll, he kept saying.
- 15:29Speaker 7: Well, you need to go take something of his. Teach
- 15:31Speaker 7: him a lesson.
- 15:32Speaker 8: Eye for an eye.
- 15:34Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Go Old Testament on them.
- 15:36Speaker 13: I got to think of something good.
- 15:37Speaker 4: I got to think of something good. Well, Kathy, thanks
- 15:40Speaker 4: for calling in and sharing that. Thank you for listening.
- 15:43Speaker 13: Thank you.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Microphone check.
- 15:44Speaker 10: Tap in and say what's up.
- 15:46Speaker 13: Check.
- 15:46Speaker 8: Open the free iHeartRadio app and tap the top back
- 15:49Speaker 8: mic to send John Jay and Rich a message now.
- 15:51Speaker 4: It's time for Stacks and Hacks. I have stacks of information.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Rich has life hacks. This is pretty big news. Spider-Man
- 15:57Speaker 4: Brand New Day has surpassed Avengers Endgame. To become the
- 16:02Speaker 4: second highest grossing movie in the United States. It's only
- 16:05Speaker 4: behind Star Wars The Force Awakens. And it's on pace
- 16:08Speaker 4: to beat it.
- 16:09Speaker 18: Dang.
- 16:09Speaker 7: Because more people saw that than Avatar. Avatar shouldn't be
- 16:12Speaker 7: in that discussion.
- 16:13Speaker 4: Well, I didn't bring up Avatar. It's not.
- 16:15Speaker 7: Yeah, but they always say it's supposed to be the
- 16:17Speaker 7: number one and number two grossing movies ever.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Well, Star Wars The Force Awakens is number one according
- 16:23Speaker 4: to this list. You know what's funny is I thought
- 16:25Speaker 4: about what I'm about to tell you right now. I
- 16:27Speaker 4: thought about purchasing for Kyle. You know, because, you know,
- 16:30Speaker 4: we've got unfugged feet on Instagram where her feet are showcased.
- 16:33Speaker 4: You have beautiful feet. And it's this new trend called
- 16:36Speaker 4: barefoot high heels.
- 16:37Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Have you seen this trend?
- 16:38Speaker 10: I haven't seen the trend.
- 16:40Speaker 6: You have not seen.
- 16:40Speaker 14: No.
- 16:40Speaker 4: So it's these heels and I guess they cover everything,
- 16:44Speaker 4: but maybe the balls of your feet and they're high
- 16:45Speaker 4: heels and there are people wearing them. Are those clear? Yeah,
- 16:48Speaker 4: they just touch on the ground. So I thought, I'm
- 16:51Speaker 4: going to buy these for Kyle and put them on
- 16:52Speaker 4: unfugged feet.
- 16:52Speaker 8: $ 2, 000.
- 16:53Speaker 11: Yikes.
- 16:53Speaker 6: Never mind.
- 16:53Speaker 4: Never mind.
- 16:54Speaker 8: Yikes.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Yeah. Yikes. They're $ 2, 000. I guess it's a heel beneath
- 17:04Speaker 4: the back of your foot, and then it drops down
- 17:06Speaker 4: to nothing below your arch, leaving the ball of your
- 17:07Speaker 4: foot touching the ground. In fact, wasn't somebody wearing that
- 17:10Speaker 4: at a movie premiere that we talked about the other day?
- 17:12Speaker 8: Margaret Qualley did. She had her toe. It was just
- 17:15Speaker 8: a heel.
- 17:15Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 17:16Speaker 8: It wasn't a high heel, but it was just a
- 17:17Speaker 8: heel for that movie that she's in with Jacob Elordi.
- 17:19Speaker 7: Just a heel, but the other part naked.
- 17:22Speaker 8: Yeah, it was naked. It kind of looked like a
- 17:23Speaker 8: little gladiator shoe on the back, kind of.
- 17:25Speaker 18: Blockbuster.
- 17:26Speaker 6: Blockbuster.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Made $ 800 million in late fees in the year 2000.
- 17:31Speaker 4: They had a good thing going.
- 17:34Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 17:35Speaker 4: That is insane. This makes me think of Kyle like
- 17:38Speaker 4: right now, because you're on your keyboard. If you snack
- 17:41Speaker 4: while typing, microbiologists say that your keyboard is probably a
- 17:44Speaker 4: lot dirtier than you think. A combination of food residue
- 17:46Speaker 4: with saliva from your fingers can turn your keyboard into
- 17:49Speaker 4: a bacteria cafeteria.
- 17:51Speaker 8: I believe that.
- 17:51Speaker 10: I can see that.
- 17:52Speaker 4: Researchers have found genetic evidence that insomnia- and longer sleep
- 17:57Speaker 4: duration and daytime napping are all connected to higher risks
- 18:03Speaker 4: of developing hemorrhoids. Oh, that's bad.
- 18:06Speaker 14: Okay.
- 18:07Speaker 8: Felt like you could have kept that information to yourself.
- 18:12Speaker 8: I don't want to know that my naps during the
- 18:15Speaker 8: day are going to cause hemorrhoids.
- 18:17Speaker 10: But it's combining all those things.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Yeah, you're fine. A popular New Jersey beach was closed
- 18:22Speaker 4: to swimmers after dozens of syringes washed up on shore. Syringes.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Safety is a big deal.
- 18:29Speaker 18: And I think that syringes and God knows what's on them.
- 18:33Speaker 7: We had no open wounds.
- 18:34Speaker 6: We talked about that even before we went in.
- 18:37Speaker 10: And we decided to.
- 18:38Speaker 14: Give it a try.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Plus, if there's a straight needle and you step on it,
- 18:41Speaker 3: I was a little nervous about it.
- 18:43Speaker 9: One beach cleanup is definitely not enough to say something's safe.
- 18:47Speaker 9: This is, you know, we can't change what's out in
- 18:50Speaker 9: the oceans or what people have done in the past,
- 18:51Speaker 9: but we can change our reaction to it.
- 18:53Speaker 4: The beach remained open, but lifeguards urged people to stay
- 18:56Speaker 4: out of the water. Gross. Yeah, that is nasty, isn't it?
- 18:59Speaker 4: Get this. Police in Poland arrested a 23-year-old guy after
- 19:02Speaker 4: he ordered hundreds of pizza to be delivered at random
- 19:06Speaker 4: addresses across the country.
- 19:07Speaker 10: Did he pay for it?
- 19:08Speaker 4: I don't know, but that sounds funny to me.
- 19:10Speaker 10: Like if he paid for it, that's like a real
- 19:12Speaker 10: love up moment.
- 19:14Speaker 4: And this, I wanted to play yesterday. I love this
- 19:17Speaker 4: so much. This meteorologist was doing the weather and just
- 19:23Speaker 4: started laughing. Something happened behind the scenes. I don't know
- 19:25Speaker 4: what happened. I know that he's addressed it, but I
- 19:27Speaker 4: can't find the audio or him addressing it. And I've
- 19:30Speaker 4: watched it so many times and it's actually funnier listening
- 19:32Speaker 4: to it than watching it because the guy's got it.
- 19:35Speaker 4: Doesn't look like the kind of guy that can, I
- 19:37Speaker 4: don't know, he just looks serious.
- 19:39Speaker 6: With facial hair and stuff.
- 19:40Speaker 15: What, Noah?
- 19:41Speaker 4: I know the backstory. Okay, so I'll play it, then
- 19:43Speaker 4: you tell me the backstory, because I don't want it
- 19:44Speaker 4: to change my point of view. So the guy's doing
- 19:46Speaker 4: the weather. Sorry, we're having a little bit of a
- 19:48Speaker 4: scene off screen.
- 19:49Speaker 9: Yeah, no.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Resulting in the chance for a few bands of storms
- 19:54Speaker 4: in some spots.
- 19:56Speaker 14: We got to finish up this weather right now.
- 19:59Speaker 10: I've never had this happen before.
- 20:03Speaker 14: Oh, geez.
- 20:06Speaker 4: All right, let me get it together real quick.
- 20:12Speaker 10: Josh, please take it.
- 20:14Speaker 4: You have the professionalism, Patrick.
- 20:19Speaker 6: He walks off screen.
- 20:20Speaker 4: Oh my God, I love that guy. I know, I know.
- 20:22Speaker 4: I love that guy.
- 20:22Speaker 6: So what's the behind the scenes, Noah?
- 20:24Speaker 11: The co-anchor, Josh, his previous story had gone on too long.
- 20:28Speaker 11: And during the commercial break, they went in the back
- 20:31Speaker 11: and he played the Charlie Brown womp, womp, womp, womp
- 20:34Speaker 11: noise to like pick on him.
- 20:35Speaker 10: Uh-huh.
- 20:36Speaker 11: But instead of just finding the sound effect on YouTube,
- 20:39Speaker 11: he had clicked on one hour of silence with occasional womp, womp, womp,
- 20:44Speaker 11: womp noises playing in the background, and he had forgotten
- 20:46Speaker 11: about it, and it was cued to his earpiece. So
- 20:50Speaker 11: when they went back to set and he was doing
- 20:51Speaker 11: his meteorology report through the earpiece out of nowhere was
- 20:54Speaker 11: the Charlie Brown noise. And it sent him off into
- 20:57Speaker 11: a spiral.
- 20:58Speaker 4: That's funny. That's pretty good.
- 20:59Speaker 6: I'm glad it happened because that made my day. That's
- 21:01Speaker 6: so funny.
- 21:01Speaker 4: Made me like him. That's so funny. I would watch
- 21:03Speaker 4: that guy. He seems sweet.
- 21:04Speaker 6: What do you got for life hacks?
- 21:05Speaker 4: All right.
- 21:05Speaker 7: So you people, your phones are killing you. And I'll
- 21:08Speaker 7: tell you why. Because the further you tilt your head
- 21:12Speaker 7: forward while staring at your phone.
- 21:14Speaker 4: the greater the effective load placed on your neck. So
- 21:16Speaker 4: check this out.
- 21:17Speaker 7: At a steep angle, when you're looking down in your phone,
- 21:20Speaker 7: that means your cervical spine can approach 60 pounds of pressure.
- 21:25Speaker 7: on your neck over time, hunching over, that's going to
- 21:28Speaker 7: be a problem for you. So when you look at
- 21:30Speaker 7: your phone, when you're scrolling, try to keep it closer
- 21:33Speaker 7: to your eye level or take regular screen breaks or
- 21:36Speaker 7: do what I do. Now I've got a little stand
- 21:38Speaker 7: on my phone and I put it on my desk
- 21:40Speaker 7: so I'm not really looking down. I'm looking across at it.
- 21:43Speaker 7: That's going to help you in the future with your neck.
- 21:46Speaker 7: We'll show you a diagram. We'll put a couple of
- 21:47Speaker 7: pictures up. We'll take it from our phones at eye
- 21:50Speaker 7: level so that you can be safe. That life hack
- 21:52Speaker 7: and many more can be found at johnjanerich.com.
- 21:54Speaker 6: Josh, we're getting ready for War of the Roses. What's
- 21:57Speaker 6: your story?
- 21:58Speaker 16: Hey guys, I'm calling because my friend caught my wife
- 22:02Speaker 16: out to dinner.
- 22:02Speaker 13: With another guy.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Hello.
- 22:04Speaker 16: So I'm trying to figure out if it's the same
- 22:07Speaker 16: guy who's been stirring up trouble for our relationship for
- 22:10Speaker 16: a while.
- 22:10Speaker 6: Okay, you hang tight.
- 22:11Speaker 4: All right, we want to hear the whole story. War
- 22:13Speaker 4: of the Roses starts next with John Jane Rich. Hey dummy,
- 22:16Speaker 4: if you get free roses, it's a trap.
- 22:20Speaker 7: War of the Roses starts right now on John Jay
- 22:23Speaker 7: and Rich.
- 22:24Speaker 6: All right, it's time for War of the Roses.
- 22:26Speaker 4: Josh thinks his wife is cheating on him.
- 22:28Speaker 6: Am I right, Josh?
- 22:29Speaker 16: That's right, man.
- 22:31Speaker 6: What's the story behind that?
- 22:33Speaker 16: Well, if I'm being honest, it's happened before, and I've
- 22:39Speaker 16: tried to look the other way. But I'm pretty sure
- 22:43Speaker 16: she went back on a date with the same guy.
- 22:46Speaker 16: His name is Marshall. He's consistently been a problem in
- 22:49Speaker 16: our marriage. She's never been physical with him that I
- 22:55Speaker 16: know of, but there's definitely been an emotional line that's
- 22:58Speaker 16: been crossed. And she promised me she'd cut him off.
- 23:03Speaker 16: And a few nights ago, my friend's.
- 23:06Speaker 13: Wife saw the two of them alone at a restaurant together.
- 23:11Speaker 16: On a day that my.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Wife told me she was out with her girls.
- 23:13Speaker 7: Well, that's a full on bust. Isn't it already?
- 23:16Speaker 10: When you said back on a date, she like has
- 23:19Speaker 10: gone on a date with this guy before where you
- 23:20Speaker 10: guys separated or something. What's the story with the first
- 23:22Speaker 10: date with them?
- 23:23Speaker 4: Uh, it would be like, I don't know.
- 23:25Speaker 16: They're close from work. Um, and I, I think that
- 23:30Speaker 16: they probably just, it crossed.
- 23:32Speaker 13: Like an emotional boundary. Um, And I kind of I
- 23:36Speaker 13: like I went through some texts.
- 23:37Speaker 16: And caught them like making plans to hang out and
- 23:42Speaker 16: confronted her. And she said she definitely crossed the line
- 23:45Speaker 16: and was going to back off.
- 23:47Speaker 10: And then lied to you about it?
- 23:49Speaker 16: Yeah, so I've just been kind of letting this percolate
- 23:52Speaker 16: for a couple days and haven't brought it up to her.
- 23:55Speaker 4: You said they work together.
- 23:57Speaker 7: Could it have been a work dinner, like just going
- 23:59Speaker 7: over whatever the Ferguson report?
- 24:01Speaker 8: I mean, if you've heard the text messages, like.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 24:04Speaker 9: Why lie?
- 24:05Speaker 4: Why come here with the girls? Right.
- 24:07Speaker 8: And plus, if you've already crossed that line, you shouldn't
- 24:09Speaker 8: be going out on any adventures or anything like that
- 24:12Speaker 8: with somebody who you're telling your husband isn't around.
- 24:16Speaker 7: If anybody gets sort of emotionally tied with somebody and
- 24:19Speaker 7: you see that coming, it's hard to hide that, you know,
- 24:22Speaker 7: if you're picking up on that.
- 24:25Speaker 16: I'm hoping that like, maybe you guys can, can work
- 24:29Speaker 16: with me and we can do like a second date
- 24:31Speaker 16: update situation and say that it's Marshall calling because she
- 24:35Speaker 16: thinks that he's been ghosted by her.
- 24:39Speaker 6: You mean like a War of the Roses, not a
- 24:41Speaker 6: second date update?
- 24:42Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 24:44Speaker 4: I mean, a second date update. How'd your date go?
- 24:47Speaker 4: Is that what you want us to do?
- 24:50Speaker 8: Oh, it's a twist.
- 24:53Speaker 16: I already know that she was out with him, so
- 24:55Speaker 16: if we can, you know.
- 24:57Speaker 8: You just want to know what went down.
- 24:58Speaker 10: Oh, that's interesting.
- 24:59Speaker 4: I just want her to.
- 25:00Speaker 16: Be honest for once in her life.
- 25:03Speaker 8: Right, because Rich, you said it. Like, she is already busted.
- 25:07Speaker 8: He already knows that she's being shady with homeboy Marshall.
- 25:09Speaker 7: Yeah, like, let's not have this guy in your life.
- 25:11Speaker 7: He's cut out. They're alone at dinner together. Right, he
- 25:13Speaker 7: just wants answers.
- 25:14Speaker 4: And you don't know about it.
- 25:15Speaker 10: I like it because we're just, like, getting the tea.
- 25:18Speaker 10: But then how do we.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Well, I feel like it should be a war of
- 25:21Speaker 4: the roses, like the flowers. Because if you see, if
- 25:23Speaker 4: you do, if you call it to do second date updates, Hey,
- 25:26Speaker 4: we have this guy you're getting ghosted. Be like, ghosted?
- 25:28Speaker 4: I was at the dinner with him last night. She's like,
- 25:31Speaker 4: and I'm married. Like, I mean, like, that's what I'm saying.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Like to go, who do you think is sending you flowers? Listen,
- 25:37Speaker 4: we're experts in entrapment here, Josh. And War of the
- 25:39Speaker 4: Roses is the way to do it. Yeah.
- 25:40Speaker 6: All right, Josh, we do War of the Roses.
- 25:42Speaker 4: Okay. We're going to see what we'll do is we're
- 25:44Speaker 4: going to call her up. Kyle's going to pretend to
- 25:45Speaker 4: be from a flower shop and say that she's new
- 25:47Speaker 4: on the job. She's got quite a few. What's your
- 25:50Speaker 4: wife's name?
- 25:51Speaker 3: Courtney.
- 25:51Speaker 15: All right.
- 25:52Speaker 6: So we'll be like, I got a couple of flowers.
- 25:54Speaker 4: You're going to Courtney. Like, who would be sending you flowers?
- 25:58Speaker 4: And that way you can bust her. That way. You
- 26:00Speaker 4: know what I mean?
- 26:01Speaker 18: All right.
- 26:01Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 26:02Speaker 4: Unless you want to wait till Tuesday and we can
- 26:04Speaker 4: do a second date update on Tuesday. No, no, no.
- 26:06Speaker 4: I just don't see that working.
- 26:07Speaker 10: And I do think, Josh, this way you kind of
- 26:09Speaker 10: like get a peek and decide what's in her heart.
- 26:11Speaker 10: Who does she want to be sending her flowers?
- 26:13Speaker 15: Yep.
- 26:13Speaker 4: All right, so hang tight. War of the Roses continues
- 26:16Speaker 4: next with John Jane Rich. We are in the middle
- 26:33Speaker 4: of War of the Roses. You've got Josh, who thinks
- 26:36Speaker 4: his wife Courtney is cheating with somebody, with a guy
- 26:38Speaker 4: named Marshall. And you caught her before, but she never
- 26:42Speaker 4: got intimate with him, right? You know that for sure, right, Josh?
- 26:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 4: But now a friend of yours' wife saw your wife
- 26:49Speaker 4: out to dinner with Marshall, and now you're really concerned.
- 26:52Speaker 6: So we're going to call her, do War of the Roses. Kyle,
- 26:55Speaker 6: are you ready?
- 26:55Speaker 18: I'm ready.
- 26:56Speaker 6: Okay, and Josh, you jump in when you want.
- 27:08Speaker 11: Hello?
- 27:08Speaker 10: Hi there, is Courtney available?
- 27:09Speaker 15: Yes.
- 27:10Speaker 13: This is Courtney.
- 27:11Speaker 5: Perfect.
- 27:11Speaker 9: Hi, Courtney.
- 27:12Speaker 8: So it's kind of your lucky day.
- 27:13Speaker 10: My name is Harley. I'm with, uh, I'm brand new
- 27:15Speaker 10: with this company called J and R flowers. Um, Try
- 27:18Speaker 10: to be patient with me. It's like my second day
- 27:19Speaker 10: of the job and I think I've already kind of
- 27:21Speaker 10: messed up. But I'm calling to confirm delivery for you,
- 27:25Speaker 10: which is really great news, which means somebody is sending
- 27:27Speaker 10: you flowers and it's really great. It's actually our fever
- 27:30Speaker 10: dream bouquet. So it's someone's really trying to impress you.
- 27:33Speaker 10: But the problem is, is we actually have two romantic
- 27:37Speaker 10: arrangements going out to Courtney's today. And this is why
- 27:41Speaker 10: I'm so embarrassed. And like I said, please be patient
- 27:42Speaker 10: with me. It's only my second day on the job,
- 27:44Speaker 10: but is there, I'm so sorry. This is so embarrassing.
- 27:47Speaker 10: Do you have any idea who would be sending you flowers?
- 27:49Speaker 10: And I can match your name to the correct card.
- 27:52Speaker 10: So you're not getting like a random, like who would
- 27:54Speaker 10: this be from?
- 27:55Speaker 11: Okay.
- 27:55Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 27:55Speaker 13: Okay.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Perfect.
- 27:56Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:56Speaker 10: Just let me know. And I'll tell you if we've
- 27:58Speaker 10: got a card from that name.
- 28:00Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 28:01Speaker 17: Maybe I can help you.
- 28:02Speaker 13: Is there maybe one from Marshall?
- 28:04Speaker 10: Marshall.
- 28:06Speaker 13: Are you kidding me, Courtney? Josh?
- 28:13Speaker 1: Okay, what the hell?
- 28:15Speaker 15: Why are you on the phone?
- 28:16Speaker 16: Because I stupidly wanted to hear the truth for once.
- 28:20Speaker 13: You lied to me again.
- 28:22Speaker 16: You said you cut him off and your ass.
- 28:23Speaker 15: Got caught again.
- 28:25Speaker 14: Wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 28:27Speaker 17: What is this?
- 28:28Speaker 13: Why are you doing this? Because you lied to my
- 28:30Speaker 13: face and you went to dinner with.
- 28:32Speaker 16: The one guy that we've had problems.
- 28:34Speaker 13: With our entire marriage.
- 28:37Speaker 10: Okay.
- 28:37Speaker 19: Oh, my God.
- 28:39Speaker 5: Nope, nope.
- 28:39Speaker 13: Absolutely not.
- 28:40Speaker 4: I am not doing this. What the heck?
- 28:42Speaker 6: Did she hang up?
- 28:43Speaker 8: I was going to say, is she gone?
- 28:44Speaker 10: Did she hang up?
- 28:45Speaker 4: Man, back in the day, you'd get a big old clang.
- 28:48Speaker 4: Now with these new digital phones.
- 28:49Speaker 6: Sorry, Josh.
- 28:50Speaker 10: Wait, she did hang up?
- 28:52Speaker 6: Well, her line's gone.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Yeah. So I would assume she hung up. Should we
- 28:55Speaker 4: call her back?
- 28:55Speaker 6: Well, Josh, your thoughts?
- 28:56Speaker 10: Why does she get so mad?
- 28:57Speaker 4: Josh, your thoughts?
- 28:58Speaker 8: She's guilty.
- 28:59Speaker 3: I mean, we got her.
- 29:02Speaker 13: I'll take the clip, I guess.
- 29:03Speaker 4: Okay. All right, hold on.
- 29:04Speaker 8: Call her back.
- 29:05Speaker 6: Let me call her back.
- 29:06Speaker 10: I'm going to pick up.
- 29:09Speaker 13: Hi, Courtney.
- 29:09Speaker 8: It's Harley again.
- 29:11Speaker 15: Oh, no.
- 29:12Speaker 8: She's definitely not going to pick up.
- 29:14Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 29:15Speaker 13: Is she?
- 29:15Speaker 10: I probably wouldn't.
- 29:17Speaker 8: I wouldn't either. Unless I started cussing everyone out.
- 29:20Speaker 4: Courtney, can you jump back up? Hey, this is John
- 29:22Speaker 4: Jay and Rich. We do a radio show. You were
- 29:24Speaker 4: just on the air with us. Oh, my God.
- 29:27Speaker 17: Okay, do you all understand how insane this is? This
- 29:30Speaker 17: is such a massive invasion of my privacy. You guys,
- 29:35Speaker 17: you trapped me into a conversation.
- 29:37Speaker 16: Courtney, you lied about one thing. you were and who
- 29:41Speaker 16: you were with, and you keep making me feel like
- 29:43Speaker 16: I'm absolutely insane for questioning you. And I find out
- 29:46Speaker 16: the reason every single time is that I should not
- 29:49Speaker 16: be feeling insane.
- 29:51Speaker 8: You feel crazy?
- 29:52Speaker 12: You have people spying on me.
- 29:54Speaker 16: No one was spying on you. You got caught at
- 29:57Speaker 16: a restaurant with him.
- 29:59Speaker 10: Oh, my God.
- 30:00Speaker 17: Whatever, Josh. This is humiliating. I cannot believe you would
- 30:05Speaker 17: do this to your own wife.
- 30:07Speaker 16: And I can't believe I keep getting my heart broken
- 30:10Speaker 16: by my own wife.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I'm done, Courtney.
- 30:13Speaker 16: Like, I am actually done this time.
- 30:16Speaker 4: So, Courtney, you were at dinner with Marshall. Yes? No?
- 30:21Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 30:22Speaker 6: Okay. So, you're married.
- 30:23Speaker 15: Yes? No? Yes.
- 30:25Speaker 6: Okay, just making sure.
- 30:26Speaker 4: All right. And you thought the flowers would be the
- 30:28Speaker 4: romantic flowers from Marshall.
- 30:30Speaker 8: Yeah, I failed the test.
- 30:31Speaker 4: So how is your husband in the wrong here?
- 30:33Speaker 17: My husband is in the wrong because he's airing out
- 30:35Speaker 17: our dirty laundry that obviously we need to talk about.
- 30:39Speaker 17: What is this, a radio station?
- 30:40Speaker 4: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
- 30:41Speaker 6: Okay, so Josh, you're done. Is that what you're saying?
- 30:44Speaker 3: Yeah, it's, you know.
- 30:46Speaker 15: Okay.
- 30:47Speaker 16: Expect some documents.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Okay, all right.
- 30:49Speaker 6: Thank you both for going on air with us. That's
- 30:52Speaker 6: War of the Roses with Josh and Rich.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Lots of things happening in the studio that I was
- 31:11Speaker 4: deciding whether we say or not say, but let's say
- 31:13Speaker 4: Rich is not here.
- 31:17Speaker 6: Rich, can you hear us? He's at home.
- 31:19Speaker 7: Yeah, I got you loud and clear.
- 31:20Speaker 4: Okay. It's almost like, should I not say anything? Or
- 31:22Speaker 4: would it sound different? No, I like that.
- 31:24Speaker 11: It's fine.
- 31:24Speaker 6: I know, it's fine.
- 31:25Speaker 4: But I'm just wondering if it sounds like you're in
- 31:27Speaker 4: here or not. Because I can't look at you. Now
- 31:31Speaker 4: you have nothing to say? You talk 24-7. I thought
- 31:32Speaker 4: you were continuing your sentence.
- 31:34Speaker 13: No, no, no.
- 31:35Speaker 7: Well, I mean, I can see Peyton. I can see Kyle.
- 31:37Speaker 6: What happened to you? Why are you not here in
- 31:39Speaker 6: the studio this morning?
- 31:41Speaker 7: It's the weirdest thing. I was just getting ready this morning.
- 31:45Speaker 7: stepping into the shower to get all clean for the day,
- 31:48Speaker 7: because I love a morning shower, and my knee popped,
- 31:51Speaker 7: and it just dropped me.
- 31:53Speaker 4: Oh, my gosh. And it is bad.
- 31:55Speaker 7: Like, I would say, right now, even though I'm kind of,
- 31:59Speaker 7: you know, full of Advil, I would say it's a
- 32:01Speaker 7: 9 out of 10 on the, oh, crap level.
- 32:04Speaker 8: Did you cry? Because I feel like a 9 out
- 32:06Speaker 8: of 10.
- 32:06Speaker 4: I did.
- 32:06Speaker 8: Tears would have to come down.
- 32:08Speaker 7: I did, but I could also tell that Stacy was
- 32:10Speaker 7: moving into the bathroom, and I was... hunched over and naked,
- 32:14Speaker 7: so I wanted to remedy that right away. So I
- 32:18Speaker 7: towelled up and I said, hey, let me get to
- 32:20Speaker 7: the bed and get some clothes on, and then I'll
- 32:22Speaker 7: tell you what's happening. Can you please leave the room?
- 32:24Speaker 4: So she did.
- 32:25Speaker 10: It's your wife.
- 32:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:27Speaker 10: She's seen you in your birthday suit.
- 32:30Speaker 7: We're not that tight.
- 32:33Speaker 9: Okay.
- 32:33Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I just thought it would be terrible. Okay,
- 32:37Speaker 4: so you wake up, you get out of bed, you
- 32:38Speaker 4: hear a pop in your knee, and you go down. Yeah, so....
- 32:42Speaker 7: I get back to, you know, I get cleaned up
- 32:44Speaker 7: because I can stand. I just can't move. So I
- 32:47Speaker 7: got cleaned up and then I kind of scooted back
- 32:49Speaker 7: to the bed and got, you know, some sweatpants and
- 32:53Speaker 7: a shirt on and asked Stacy to go grab crutches.
- 32:56Speaker 7: But as I'm looking at my knee, it is super swollen.
- 32:58Speaker 7: So I think.
- 32:59Speaker 4: X-rays are in order as soon as the show is
- 33:01Speaker 4: over today.
- 33:02Speaker 6: Are you vaccinated?
- 33:05Speaker 10: Did that affect the knee?
- 33:06Speaker 6: Hey, did you happen to watch? This is so crazy.
- 33:08Speaker 4: Did you happen to watch the newest episode of Ted
- 33:11Speaker 4: Lasso that came out yesterday? Did you remember all the
- 33:14Speaker 4: characters on Ted Lasso? Remember Roy Kent? Yeah, Roy Kent.
- 33:16Speaker 6: Roy Kent. He's on a date.
- 33:19Speaker 4: He's doing this thing where he's got to date 10
- 33:21Speaker 4: girls before Keeley will see him again, right? And so
- 33:25Speaker 4: he starts flirting with a bartender, and he goes into
- 33:28Speaker 4: the back door. And him and the bartender are going
- 33:30Speaker 4: at it. Like they're making out and things are about
- 33:32Speaker 4: to happen. And all of a sudden, he screams. I
- 33:35Speaker 4: was going to play the clip, but it's so many
- 33:37Speaker 4: F-bombs in it. He screams, my knee, my knee, my
- 33:40Speaker 4: effing knee. And he goes down to the ground. He pops,
- 33:41Speaker 4: his knee pops, and then he's in the hospital. It's
- 33:44Speaker 4: like you're copying Ted Lasso. Without the makeup.
- 33:48Speaker 6: You're so topical.
- 33:51Speaker 10: Unless you're leaving that out.
- 33:52Speaker 4: I was just moving throughout my home. Just trying to
- 33:55Speaker 4: be normal.
- 33:55Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 33:57Speaker 6: Okay, well, it sounds fine. So, I mean, it sounds
- 33:59Speaker 6: like as far as the show goes, I think we
- 34:00Speaker 6: can do a normal show.
- 34:01Speaker 4: We can do a show.
- 34:01Speaker 6: Let's see what happens. We've got Robert on the line. Robert,
- 34:03Speaker 6: you've got a comment about War of the Roses?
- 34:06Speaker 4: Yes, sir.
- 34:06Speaker 3: How are you guys doing? So, yeah, just listening. I've
- 34:09Speaker 3: heard this several times before, but the roles were reversed.
- 34:13Speaker 3: And in this case, it seemed like Kyle and Peyton
- 34:15Speaker 3: were awful quiet, almost like it's one-sided. I mean, Courtney
- 34:20Speaker 3: kind of turned that around where it was Marshall's. fault
- 34:23Speaker 3: basically but i was kind of surprised that kyle and
- 34:26Speaker 3: payton were uh were a little bit uh sealed lift
- 34:29Speaker 3: on that.
- 34:29Speaker 4: Side so you mean if the wars if the rules
- 34:33Speaker 4: wait the roles were reversed like explain yes sir explain
- 34:38Speaker 4: the roles being reversed so.
- 34:40Speaker 3: So if if marshall went out to eat dinner with
- 34:42Speaker 3: a girl and the wife courtney caught him and marshall
- 34:47Speaker 3: said well you know the same as courtney said uh
- 34:50Speaker 3: i think Kylan Payton would have jumped all over Marshall saying, man,
- 34:53Speaker 3: you're really gaslighting her saying, you know, it's it's it's
- 34:57Speaker 3: it's her fault.
- 34:58Speaker 4: Right.
- 34:59Speaker 3: It's Courtney's fault for even being in that situation.
- 35:01Speaker 10: I think I didn't say much because it was like
- 35:03Speaker 10: she's busted. It's not like and a lot of times
- 35:06Speaker 10: during War of the Roses, they try to deny it.
- 35:08Speaker 10: And it's like, yeah, you are guilty. But it was
- 35:11Speaker 10: like she was caught.
- 35:12Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 35:12Speaker 8: And she was wrong. Absolutely.
- 35:14Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 35:16Speaker 6: Absolutely.
- 35:17Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 35:17Speaker 3: No, I don't know. I just kind of maybe I
- 35:19Speaker 3: expected a little more from you two being ladies.
- 35:21Speaker 15: Right.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Because I've heard you jump on the guys all over
- 35:24Speaker 3: the guys saying, hey, man, you're in the wrong here.
- 35:26Speaker 3: You know, in this case, it was just like mom's
- 35:27Speaker 3: the word. Just be quiet.
- 35:29Speaker 4: You wanted us to scold her.
- 35:31Speaker 6: Robert turns into a consultant all of a sudden.
- 35:35Speaker 4: I expected more from you two since you were ladies.
- 35:38Speaker 4: I expected.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Hey, just real quick, I'm an original listener. I remember
- 35:42Speaker 3: the day you guys came on. I remember who you
- 35:44Speaker 3: took over for. I remember where I was when I
- 35:46Speaker 3: turned the radio on. And when I first started hearing
- 35:49Speaker 3: you guys, I thought I was on the wrong channel.
- 35:50Speaker 3: And then I thought, man, these guys are idiots, right?
- 35:53Speaker 3: I'm not listening to these guys anymore, but here I am.
- 35:55Speaker 5: Right on.
- 35:57Speaker 6: That doesn't change if we're idiots or not, but you
- 35:59Speaker 6: just did.
- 35:59Speaker 4: No, it doesn't.
- 36:01Speaker 7: You guys work.
- 36:04Speaker 3: You guys wore me down. That's what happened.
- 36:06Speaker 4: Good.
- 36:06Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 36:06Speaker 16: Yes, sir.
- 36:08Speaker 4: Thanks, Robert.
- 36:09Speaker 6: Really appreciate you listening, man. Where are you? What part
- 36:11Speaker 6: of town are you in right now?
- 36:12Speaker 4: Where are you?
- 36:13Speaker 3: I am in, I'm I-17 in Thunderbird right now. I
- 36:15Speaker 3: headed over to Scottsdale.
- 36:17Speaker 4: What's in Scottsdale?
- 36:20Speaker 3: We own a swimming pool company, so we're specialized in Scottsdale.
- 36:24Speaker 6: Oh, what's the name of the pool company? Give it
- 36:25Speaker 6: a little love, Robert.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Yeah, the company name is The Pool Shack. We've been
- 36:30Speaker 3: in business for 15 plus years. I carry a KA5 license.
- 36:33Speaker 3: We dig a hole, build a pool, and we do
- 36:34Speaker 3: anything and everything from building pools all the way down
- 36:36Speaker 3: into just your weekly pool cleaning.
- 36:38Speaker 6: The Pool Shack, that's what it's called?
- 36:40Speaker 4: Yes, sir. Is your theme song, do.
- 36:42Speaker 6: You use the theme song from Love Shack?
- 36:44Speaker 17: Pool Shack.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Actually, I sing that to my wife sometimes. She's not
- 36:50Speaker 3: thrilled about it, but I still sing it.
- 36:51Speaker 4: Do you do like, if you see an empty pool
- 36:53Speaker 4: that is 50 miles to the pool shack.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Maybe I can hire you.
- 37:01Speaker 4: I was going to say, I can clip that and
- 37:03Speaker 4: just send it to Robert. That way we can use
- 37:04Speaker 4: it for all of us. Yes, sir.
- 37:06Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 37:07Speaker 4: Thanks for calling in, brother. Thank you so much.
- 37:09Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 37:09Speaker 15: Talk to you later.
- 37:09Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 37:10Speaker 10: Bye.
- 37:11Speaker 6: Shane, you've got a comment on War of the Roses.
- 37:13Speaker 11: Go ahead.
- 37:16Speaker 3: Yeah, so is it cheating, right?
- 37:18Speaker 6: Oh, you're calling about that? Oh, is it cheating thing?
- 37:20Speaker 14: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 37:21Speaker 4: Go ahead. Very similar to what we're doing.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Yeah, no worries.
- 37:24Speaker 18: I was going to piggyback off the girl who was like, oh,
- 37:26Speaker 18: I'll have a couple drinks and like to kiss girls,
- 37:29Speaker 18: you know. That situation happened to me, and I was
- 37:33Speaker 18: the husband who was like, yeah, that's cool, but a
- 37:36Speaker 18: slippery slope because after 13 years of marriage, she came out.
- 37:39Speaker 18: So not considering it cheating at the.
- 37:44Speaker 5: Time, but.
- 37:45Speaker 4: Right.
- 37:46Speaker 6: So she dumped you?
- 37:47Speaker 18: Yeah, we separated.
- 37:49Speaker 6: And she's with the girl now?
- 37:53Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Wow.
- 37:54Speaker 8: She was just being herself around you.
- 37:56Speaker 4: That's a beautiful story.
- 37:58Speaker 10: I mean, for a while, it was like you were
- 38:00Speaker 10: just letting her be herself, and then she was like,
- 38:02Speaker 10: by the way, and I can't be with you anymore.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Right.
- 38:04Speaker 8: It's unfortunate for Shane, for sure.
- 38:06Speaker 4: I have something else to tell you about myself.
- 38:09Speaker 6: Hey, Shane, thanks for calling in, man. How are you
- 38:12Speaker 6: doing now, though? Are you remarried? Are you dating other people?
- 38:15Speaker 18: No, yeah, I was just single with my two kids,
- 38:18Speaker 18: and I was rocking and rolling.
- 38:20Speaker 4: Right on, Shane.
- 38:21Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 38:21Speaker 6: Hey, Shane, what city are you in right now?
- 38:25Speaker 4: Fort Collins.
- 38:25Speaker 6: Right on, Fort Collins. Thanks for listening, brother. Thank you
- 38:28Speaker 6: so much.
- 38:29Speaker 18: Yeah, I appreciate it, you guys.
- 38:31Speaker 4: So some stuff behind the scenes, too, is like our
- 38:34Speaker 4: show is on in all these different cities, and sometimes
- 38:35Speaker 4: they play something back at a different time, and that's
- 38:38Speaker 4: what's happening. Because I know, actually, in about 30 minutes,
- 38:41Speaker 4: we're talking to somebody else. We're talking to a soccer coach.
- 38:44Speaker 4: That is going through something very similar to Shane. And
- 38:46Speaker 4: he needs advice, so we're talking a little bit. Lots
- 38:49Speaker 4: of stuff going on. Della, now you're calling about something
- 38:52Speaker 4: totally different about what we did yesterday, right? About, like,
- 38:55Speaker 4: things you don't believe, right?
- 38:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I am.
- 38:58Speaker 19: I'm calling about something I don't believe. I really don't
- 39:01Speaker 19: believe that people like puppies.
- 39:02Speaker 11: How can you not believe that?
- 39:05Speaker 4: How can you not believe that?
- 39:06Speaker 10: Who doesn't like a puppy?
- 39:07Speaker 13: I don't know.
- 39:09Speaker 19: They are so irritating. It's like having a toddler. They
- 39:14Speaker 19: are bad. They're so bad. They chew everything.
- 39:18Speaker 17: They go to the bathroom everywhere.
- 39:20Speaker 19: It's just a lot of maintenance.
- 39:22Speaker 16: Oh, I mean, they're so cute.
- 39:24Speaker 17: Of course, of course.
- 39:25Speaker 19: But I would never want to like.
- 39:27Speaker 4: Have a puppy.
- 39:28Speaker 8: I actually feel you on that. Like I'm not necessarily
- 39:31Speaker 8: the biggest dog people.
- 39:31Speaker 10: I like a puppy.
- 39:32Speaker 8: I think puppies are so cute. I would not want
- 39:34Speaker 8: to train a puppy. I would not want to, like, Kyle,
- 39:36Speaker 8: what you got going on with Poppy right now, like,
- 39:39Speaker 8: credit to you because it could not be me.
- 39:41Speaker 10: She's a good puppy. She's only eating the wall a
- 39:44Speaker 10: little bit.
- 39:45Speaker 9: Exactly.
- 39:46Speaker 10: Exactly.
- 39:47Speaker 8: You are completely proving Della's point.
- 39:49Speaker 4: I don't think I know.
- 39:50Speaker 6: By the way, you like dogs. You like dogs. You
- 39:53Speaker 6: just don't like puppies, right?
- 39:55Speaker 13: Of course.
- 39:56Speaker 10: Yeah, of course.
- 39:57Speaker 19: I have an older dog, actually, and I'll continue to
- 40:01Speaker 19: get older dogs.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Just never a puppy.
- 40:03Speaker 4: Hey, I know people like you. We have at our
- 40:06Speaker 4: Love Pup Shelter, you know, we have dogs all ages,
- 40:09Speaker 4: and it's tough because a lot of people only want puppies.
- 40:12Speaker 15: So, yeah.
- 40:12Speaker 6: So, Della, thank you for calling in, and thank you
- 40:14Speaker 6: for listening.
- 40:16Speaker 13: Of course.
- 40:16Speaker 19: Thank you so much.
- 40:17Speaker 13: You guys enjoy the rest of your day.
- 40:20Speaker 4: We're going to play Minute to Win It. We need
- 40:22Speaker 4: a contestant.
- 40:23Speaker 10: 877-937-1047.
- 40:24Speaker 4: By the way, so yesterday, we'll give a little behind
- 40:26Speaker 4: the scenes. So yesterday, I'm doing a lot of behind
- 40:28Speaker 4: the scenes today, was National Dog Day. And, you know,
- 40:33Speaker 4: my wife and I have the Love Pup Shelter. And
- 40:35Speaker 4: for the last three years, my wife and my sister
- 40:38Speaker 4: have been working on this app. It's an app for
- 40:40Speaker 4: dog people called Love Pup Plus. And it should really,
- 40:44Speaker 4: really change... The dog world, the rescue world. I mean,
- 40:47Speaker 4: it's a very innovative app. She's been working on it forever.
- 40:51Speaker 4: And about a couple weeks ago, the app dropped on
- 40:54Speaker 4: Google Play. That's how you say it, right, guys? Google Play? Uh-huh.
- 40:57Speaker 4: And yesterday, it got approved on Apple.
- 41:02Speaker 6: So it hasn't.
- 41:03Speaker 4: And it's like any second now it'll be on the
- 41:05Speaker 4: apple app the app store so any second now so
- 41:09Speaker 4: we're like everyone's looking waiting and waiting waiting so it's
- 41:11Speaker 4: pretty big it's pretty cool it's exciting because it got
- 41:13Speaker 4: approved on dog day like oh yeah she came out
- 41:16Speaker 4: she was playing majan with some friends and i'm trying
- 41:19Speaker 4: to watch freaking jack reacher and she comes walk she
- 41:22Speaker 4: comes out she's crying and i'm like what's going on
- 41:25Speaker 4: she's like i've got a bro i've worked so hard
- 41:30Speaker 4: and she's She's like hugging me like if someone died.
- 41:32Speaker 7: That's awesome.
- 41:33Speaker 4: I was like, yeah. And I'm like, hey, Reacher's about
- 41:35Speaker 4: to kill somebody. Oh, my gosh.
- 41:36Speaker 8: You're the worst, John Jay.
- 41:38Speaker 10: Not, oh, my gosh.
- 41:38Speaker 8: Congratulations.
- 41:39Speaker 10: You've been working so hard on this. What a big milestone.
- 41:42Speaker 4: I know. I did.
- 41:43Speaker 7: His response, trying to watch Reacher.
- 41:46Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 41:46Speaker 4: So anyway, so keep hitting refresh and go to the
- 41:49Speaker 4: App Store or Google Store and download Love Pup Plus.
- 41:52Speaker 4: It's free, and it's going to really, really help the
- 41:55Speaker 4: dog world. Okay, Rich, can you do a minute to
- 41:57Speaker 4: win it from your house?
- 41:58Speaker 5: I can.
- 41:59Speaker 7: I just wasn't able to hear our phone callers. Well,
- 42:01Speaker 7: I haven't said her name yet. Well, I couldn't hear
- 42:03Speaker 7: the last ones either.
- 42:04Speaker 4: Oh, really? Uh-oh. What did we do there, Nick?
- 42:08Speaker 8: I got it.
- 42:08Speaker 4: It's already good. Okay, let's see. Let's see. Carly, are
- 42:10Speaker 4: you there?
- 42:12Speaker 2: Yes, I'm here.
- 42:14Speaker 7: Ah, good.
- 42:15Speaker 4: Now I can hear her.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 42:16Speaker 6: All right, we're going to play Minute to Win to Carly.
- 42:18Speaker 7: Okay, Carly, 60 seconds on the clock. You just got
- 42:21Speaker 7: to get 10 of these right in a row to
- 42:23Speaker 7: win the whole thing. You can do it.
- 42:25Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 42:25Speaker 7: 60 seconds starts right now. What candy uses the slogan,
- 42:29Speaker 7: melts in your mouth? What candy uses the slogan, melts
- 42:33Speaker 7: in your mouth?
- 42:33Speaker 10: I can't hear you now.
- 42:36Speaker 4: I think you have to put me in OL as well, Nick.
- 42:41Speaker 6: Okay, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Good morning, are you guys there?
- 42:43Speaker 8: Carly, can you hear me now?
- 42:44Speaker 6: Hold on, we don't all need to talk.
- 42:46Speaker 12: I can hear you now, yeah.
- 42:47Speaker 13: Okay.
- 42:49Speaker 7: Okay, Carly, can you hear me?
- 42:52Speaker 3: Yes.
- 42:53Speaker 7: Okay, here we go. 60 seconds on the clock. What
- 42:56Speaker 7: candy uses a slogan, melts in your mouth, not in
- 42:59Speaker 7: your hands?
- 43:01Speaker 12: M & M' s.
- 43:02Speaker 7: What soccer position can use their hands inside the penalty area?
- 43:07Speaker 4: Goalie.
- 43:10Speaker 7: What Phoenix landmark is home to the Echo Canyon Trail?
- 43:14Speaker 11: Um.
- 43:20Speaker 5: Oh, my gosh.
- 43:21Speaker 4: Most famous mountain we have.
- 43:25Speaker 9: The most famous spot we have?
- 43:26Speaker 19: I don't know.
- 43:27Speaker 7: The famous mountain we have.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Thunderbird Mountain?
- 43:32Speaker 2: Camelback Mountain?
- 43:33Speaker 4: I'm going to give you that. Camelback is good. She
- 43:35Speaker 4: got it wrong.
- 43:36Speaker 6: She said Thunderbird Mountain.
- 43:37Speaker 4: Oh, I didn't hear about it.
- 43:37Speaker 6: Or Camelback.
- 43:38Speaker 19: It was a stutter, John Jay.
- 43:40Speaker 4: Well, I know. I mean, we got to follow the rules.
- 43:42Speaker 4: We got to follow the rules, whether Rich is at
- 43:44Speaker 4: home and under medication or not.
- 43:45Speaker 18: Oh, come on.
- 43:46Speaker 6: I mean, her answer was Thunderbird Mountain.
- 43:48Speaker 19: The lady that won it that time, though, she didn't
- 43:51Speaker 19: follow the rules.
- 43:51Speaker 12: She got the answer wrong, and you guys said she
- 43:53Speaker 12: got it right.
- 43:55Speaker 10: And still gave it to her.
- 43:58Speaker 9: Whoa, dang.
- 43:59Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Well, let me break down what you just said. You
- 44:02Speaker 4: said she got it right. You said that we said
- 44:04Speaker 4: she got it right. But here I'm saying you got
- 44:05Speaker 4: it wrong. So you said Thunderbird Mountain.
- 44:08Speaker 14: Right?
- 44:09Speaker 10: Right.
- 44:11Speaker 6: That was your answer and then.
- 44:12Speaker 13: Rich kept going then rich kept giving.
- 44:13Speaker 6: You clues for some reason he was like playing a different.
- 44:15Speaker 10: Game i mean i will say whether like that counted
- 44:18Speaker 10: or not you probably would have run out of time
- 44:21Speaker 10: only just because right yeah.
- 44:23Speaker 20: Time was right yeah yeah all right carly but hold
- 44:25Speaker 20: on you were a great contestant carly okay there rich
- 44:29Speaker 20: you don't know if you're just tuning in rich blew
- 44:31Speaker 20: out his knee he's uh in his basement right now
- 44:34Speaker 20: on heavily medicated.
- 44:37Speaker 4: For me, yeah. I don't ever take Advil. That's a
- 44:39Speaker 4: pretty strong drug.
- 44:41Speaker 6: Okay.
- 44:41Speaker 4: So listen, Phoenix and Arizona's in the news in the
- 44:45Speaker 4: last 24 hours for some big stuff that some of
- 44:47Speaker 4: us understand, some of us don't understand. It was a
- 44:49Speaker 4: big deal about the Michelin, the Michelin thing, right?
- 44:52Speaker 14: Yes.
- 44:52Speaker 4: They were going to make a big announcement, the Michelin thing.
- 44:55Speaker 4: And I have a friend. He's on social media. He
- 44:57Speaker 4: goes by the name of AZ Sports Guy. He's a
- 45:00Speaker 4: great guy. Bumped into many times at Suns games and
- 45:02Speaker 4: different events. And he's turned into this massive food critic.
- 45:07Speaker 4: And I saw him post yesterday that he was carrying
- 45:10Speaker 4: the Michelin announcement live. So I figured this guy's an expert.
- 45:15Speaker 4: I don't know if he's ever been on the radio before.
- 45:18Speaker 4: But he's a friend of mine. And I asked him
- 45:20Speaker 4: to jump on to explain. Nathan, are you there?
- 45:23Speaker 6: AZ Sports Guy?
- 45:23Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Good morning, John J. It's Mr. AZ Sports, but you
- 45:27Speaker 2: were close.
- 45:28Speaker 13: I appreciate it.
- 45:29Speaker 6: What did I say?
- 45:31Speaker 2: AZ Sports guy.
- 45:32Speaker 6: Oh, okay.
- 45:33Speaker 4: Mr. Sorry.
- 45:34Speaker 6: I know it was so formal.
- 45:36Speaker 10: AZ Sports guy that's a food guy.
- 45:38Speaker 4: You will treat him with respect, sir. Explain that, Nathan.
- 45:40Speaker 4: How did you become a food guy when you're a
- 45:42Speaker 4: sports guy?
- 45:43Speaker 2: We're actually thinking about changing my name because I'm more
- 45:47Speaker 2: food than I'm sports, but yeah, that's a really good question.
- 45:50Speaker 2: I started out doing a lot of sports stuff, but
- 45:53Speaker 2: I've learned that I have more of a passion for
- 45:55Speaker 2: food and just interviews than I do sports anyway, so
- 45:58Speaker 2: I'll probably change my name eventually here soon.
- 46:00Speaker 6: Now, I will tell you guys this.
- 46:02Speaker 4: I was with Nathan, who's the sports guy, and I
- 46:05Speaker 4: had to point out Michael Jordan to him. yes i
- 46:09Speaker 4: did yes i did dude i go look right there's
- 46:12Speaker 4: michael jordan that's my like what what what come on.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Dude you know that's okay that did happen yeah i forgot.
- 46:19Speaker 4: About that yeah okay all right anyway can you explain
- 46:22Speaker 4: the michelin thing what what what that's all about and
- 46:25Speaker 4: what happened last night and which restaurants got it and
- 46:27Speaker 4: didn't get it.
- 46:29Speaker 2: Yeah so michelin finally came to arizona for the first
- 46:31Speaker 2: time ever this is like their first ever explorers like
- 46:35Speaker 2: expanding to arizona they've just never really done anything out here.
- 46:39Speaker 2: So they, this was started years ago as a tire
- 46:43Speaker 2: company because they, the tire company wanted people to go
- 46:46Speaker 2: out and travel more, to put more miles on their car,
- 46:50Speaker 2: to use more tires, to create more business. So this
- 46:52Speaker 2: guy was created just as the tire company to generate
- 46:55Speaker 2: more revenue for them. And it's turned into like the
- 46:58Speaker 2: most famous restaurant guide in the world. And last night,
- 47:03Speaker 2: we didn't get a star, which I think is completely wrong.
- 47:06Speaker 2: I think we should have got at least one star,
- 47:09Speaker 2: but we did get three people recognized, three individuals in
- 47:13Speaker 2: the industry got their own recognition, which is super cool.
- 47:17Speaker 2: Like Rene at Bacanora got one, and then John at
- 47:19Speaker 2: Reserve for his wine got a star, which is really
- 47:23Speaker 2: cool because Reserve and Café Monarch have some of the
- 47:26Speaker 2: most unbelievable wine pairing in the world.
- 47:28Speaker 6: Oh, hold on a second. So Reserve is part of
- 47:31Speaker 6: Café Monarch?
- 47:33Speaker 2: They're the same owner.
- 47:34Speaker 4: Oh, it's the one across the street.
- 47:35Speaker 2: So they're pretty much like brother, sister.
- 47:36Speaker 3: Is it the one across the street?
- 47:37Speaker 13: Christian.
- 47:38Speaker 6: It's across the street, right? From Monarch?
- 47:40Speaker 4: Yes.
- 47:41Speaker 6: Oh, yeah, I've been there.
- 47:41Speaker 20: Yeah.
- 47:42Speaker 4: I think I've been there.
- 47:42Speaker 14: Okay.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Reserve is seasonal, too. So it's like, it's only open,
- 47:46Speaker 2: I think, from like October to April.
- 47:48Speaker 4: Okay.
- 47:48Speaker 2: So it's, I actually like Reserve better than Monarch, personally.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Okay, Bacanora.
- 47:54Speaker 6: Bacanora, I've never been there.
- 47:55Speaker 8: Oh, Bacanora is so good.
- 47:56Speaker 4: Reserve.
- 47:56Speaker 2: You've never been to Bacanora?
- 47:58Speaker 4: I have not. I have not.
- 47:59Speaker 2: You're crazy.
- 48:00Speaker 6: Okay, so what's the third one?
- 48:03Speaker 2: Uh, F and B Charlene. She got one for mindful voices.
- 48:08Speaker 2: I've actually never been to F and B, so I'm
- 48:11Speaker 2: going to actually have to go there soon.
- 48:12Speaker 3: So people told me, you.
- 48:14Speaker 4: Need to watch a lot of stuff.
- 48:17Speaker 2: A lot of stuff there on their menus, like hard
- 48:20Speaker 2: to pronounce. So I'm probably going to get a ratio
- 48:22Speaker 2: in the comments. Cause I can never pronounce anything correctly.
- 48:24Speaker 6: That's your personality. Well, I don't worry. Where is F
- 48:27Speaker 6: and B?
- 48:29Speaker 2: I think it's old town.
- 48:31Speaker 6: What i've never heard of it.
- 48:32Speaker 4: It's an effing old town.
- 48:35Speaker 6: Medicated rich is funny.
- 48:39Speaker 4: Is it french what is it food and beverage i
- 48:43Speaker 4: don't know i'm drinking that up that makes sense yeah
- 48:46Speaker 4: yeah kind of on the nose we did.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Get seven bibs though which is pretty big which the
- 48:51Speaker 2: bibs is basically just like good quality and good value
- 48:54Speaker 2: cooking and I think the bibs, I think.
- 48:57Speaker 7: They got all of them right.
- 48:57Speaker 2: They gave them one to Little Miss Barbecue, which is,
- 49:00Speaker 2: I think, the best barbecue in the country.
- 49:02Speaker 4: Right, okay.
- 49:02Speaker 2: I don't necessarily agree with Pizza Bianco. I'm not a
- 49:05Speaker 2: Pizza Bianco guy. I think there's way better pizzas than that. But, like,
- 49:09Speaker 2: Kid Sister, that's, like, a hidden gem. Like, I don't
- 49:13Speaker 2: think a lot of people know about kids sister and
- 49:14Speaker 2: they want to bid.
- 49:16Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 49:17Speaker 2: That's what I mean. It's like, so we did, we
- 49:19Speaker 2: did well in other areas. It's just disappointing. Like, I
- 49:22Speaker 2: don't know how we Christopher at Wrigley mansion didn't get a,
- 49:26Speaker 2: didn't get a Michelin star. That's, that's just like, you
- 49:29Speaker 2: did decredit yourself by not giving one yourself one there.
- 49:32Speaker 4: Okay. I think I've been there once a long time ago,
- 49:34Speaker 4: my in-laws, but what else, what other restaurants have got
- 49:36Speaker 4: some accolades here?
- 49:39Speaker 2: Uh, we got Christopher, uh, Christopher, we can match with Glybon.
- 49:42Speaker 2: You've been to Glybon, right?
- 49:43Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 49:44Speaker 6: I told you guys about that place.
- 49:46Speaker 4: That's the Thai food restaurant right down the street. It's,
- 49:48Speaker 4: it's a house.
- 49:50Speaker 6: It's fantastic.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:52Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 49:52Speaker 6: I came in and did a whole thing with you guys.
- 49:53Speaker 4: You might remember.
- 49:54Speaker 8: I remember something about Thai food. What was it called?
- 49:57Speaker 6: Glybon.
- 49:58Speaker 4: Glybon. I went to a Thai food place two days
- 50:00Speaker 4: ago too. I went to, have you ever been to
- 50:01Speaker 4: Thai Rama?
- 50:03Speaker 6: Nathan?
- 50:04Speaker 18: Yes.
- 50:04Speaker 4: That place rocks. Yeah.
- 50:06Speaker 14: Right.
- 50:06Speaker 4: I was just there two days ago. The one in
- 50:07Speaker 4: Chandler is so good.
- 50:09Speaker 2: But all right so what else is great what else
- 50:12Speaker 2: hush public house i don't know if you guys have
- 50:14Speaker 2: been there but like dom at hush public houses that's
- 50:17Speaker 2: like one of my top favorite restaurants that place is
- 50:20Speaker 2: unbelievable indie bar this one kind of caught me off
- 50:24Speaker 2: guard this one's like kind of brand new it's called
- 50:26Speaker 2: pretty penny it's in downtown phoenix it's really solid but
- 50:30Speaker 2: it's only been open for like six months so it
- 50:32Speaker 2: was cool to see that like a new restaurant just
- 50:34Speaker 2: showed up on the scene and Uh, got notarized reserve
- 50:39Speaker 2: shin Bay. Have you been there yet? Shin Bay?
- 50:41Speaker 4: No, no.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Well, shin Bay is some of the best fish. It's
- 50:45Speaker 2: an Amakasi like 14 course Amakasi menu.
- 50:48Speaker 3: It's just unbelievable.
- 50:50Speaker 2: So Bacchanor got recognized, uh, fry bread house. So like
- 50:55Speaker 2: we overall did.
- 50:56Speaker 4: Okay.
- 50:56Speaker 2: It's just, I think we got robbed. I think it's
- 50:58Speaker 2: just Arizona's cursed, and we just don't win anything anywhere.
- 51:02Speaker 6: Let me ask you this, though. So it was the
- 51:04Speaker 6: Michelin thing yesterday.
- 51:05Speaker 4: Was it about all restaurants across the country, or was
- 51:07Speaker 4: it specifically about Arizona?
- 51:09Speaker 10: It was Southwest.
- 51:10Speaker 4: Oh, Southwest.
- 51:10Speaker 6: Okay, so is there a restaurant that did get one?
- 51:13Speaker 6: And if so, where is it?
- 51:15Speaker 2: Vegas got one.
- 51:16Speaker 5: I would have to go look it up where.
- 51:18Speaker 2: I don't remember where. I didn't really care once they
- 51:22Speaker 2: robbed us.
- 51:23Speaker 7: Yeah, I get it.
- 51:24Speaker 4: Hey, so let me ask you about, let.
- 51:26Speaker 6: Me shift gears. Let's go to sports for a second.
- 51:27Speaker 4: Since you are a sports guy, we're talking to AZ Sports, Mr.
- 51:29Speaker 4: AZ Sports guy, Nathan. And you see him on social media.
- 51:32Speaker 4: He's got a handlebar mustache. And he always interviews all
- 51:35Speaker 4: these celebrities. What's going on with the Diamondbacks? And what's
- 51:37Speaker 4: the guy's name?
- 51:38Speaker 6: Martel?
- 51:38Speaker 4: Ketel Marte. Ketel Marte, yeah.
- 51:40Speaker 15: Kettle?
- 51:41Speaker 6: I have to call him Kettle. Kettle Marte. I call
- 51:42Speaker 6: him Kettle Marte.
- 51:43Speaker 10: Kettle Marte.
- 51:44Speaker 4: Kettle Marte.
- 51:44Speaker 6: So what's going on with him?
- 51:45Speaker 4: He's been disappearing, not showing up, do you know? That's
- 51:49Speaker 4: that question.
- 51:49Speaker 2: I don't think anybody still knows. They still haven't told
- 51:52Speaker 2: us anything. He's on the IL till Tuesday. And I
- 51:55Speaker 2: guess we'll find out on Tuesday. Sadly, they haven't really
- 51:59Speaker 2: told us anything. No one really knows. They haven't put
- 52:01Speaker 2: out a statement. So we're all just sitting here waiting
- 52:03Speaker 2: to see if he comes back. But the good news
- 52:05Speaker 2: is the Dimebacks just took two games from the Cubs.
- 52:08Speaker 2: And we needed to win those two games. We're still
- 52:12Speaker 2: in the race. So if we can figure out a
- 52:14Speaker 2: way to keep winning... The series at the end of
- 52:18Speaker 2: the year is versus the Padres. So it literally might
- 52:20Speaker 2: come down to the last series of the year, D-backs
- 52:23Speaker 2: versus Padres in San Diego. Winner of the series gets
- 52:25Speaker 2: the playoff spot. So we just got to keep winning.
- 52:27Speaker 2: We can still make the playoffs. We just got to
- 52:29Speaker 2: keep winning.
- 52:30Speaker 4: Yeah, he's still a sports guy. He's still got some
- 52:32Speaker 4: sports on. I know, Mr. AZ Sports Guy.
- 52:34Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 52:35Speaker 6: All right, Nathan. Hey, and Monday, I'll talk to you.
- 52:38Speaker 4: You're going to come. Nathan's going to jump on my
- 52:39Speaker 4: podcast on Monday, the highly successful John J. Van Ness podcast.
- 52:43Speaker 13: Awesome.
- 52:43Speaker 3: Looking forward to it.
- 52:44Speaker 4: Thanks for having me, guys.
- 52:45Speaker 6: Hey, man, you were great on the radio. Nice job, dog.
- 52:47Speaker 4: Way to go. Thank you.
- 52:49Speaker 2: I appreciate it. And also, anyone who says puppies are bad,
- 52:52Speaker 2: you just can't take them seriously.
- 52:53Speaker 4: Puppies rock.
- 52:54Speaker 6: Right, right, right, right.
- 52:55Speaker 4: All right, brother. I'll talk to you later.
- 52:56Speaker 14: Thanks, man.
- 52:57Speaker 4: Talk to you later. Bye.
- 52:59Speaker 6: That was interesting, the whole Michelin thing.
- 53:01Speaker 7: It's kind of a drag that Of all the killer
- 53:05Speaker 7: places here, like Foofy and Other, you'd think we would
- 53:08Speaker 7: have at least a dozen that would have that star.
- 53:12Speaker 4: Hey, speaking of Foofy, Rich, speaking of Foofy, early this
- 53:14Speaker 4: morning we spent a lot of time talking about Peyton's
- 53:16Speaker 4: lady parts. And Noah pitched an idea that we thought
- 53:23Speaker 4: was hilarious, right? So you're not going to believe how
- 53:26Speaker 4: many times we said the word hoo-ha, okay? So speaking
- 53:30Speaker 4: of the Diamondbacks... We've got Diamondback tickets for you.
- 53:33Speaker 15: 877-937-1047.
- 53:34Speaker 4: We're going to play the hoo-ha game. If you can
- 53:39Speaker 4: guess how many times we said hoo-ha an hour and
- 53:43Speaker 4: 45 minutes ago is when it happened on the air.
- 53:46Speaker 4: It was an hour and 45 minutes ago. How many
- 53:48Speaker 4: times did we say hoo-ha?
- 53:49Speaker 11: 877-937-1047.
- 53:50Speaker 6: The hoo-ha game is next with John Jane Rich. Here
- 53:52Speaker 6: we go. I wake up with that. Get up.
- 53:56Speaker 4: John Jane Rich.
- 53:57Speaker 6: Some behind the scenes stuff. Rich is home.
- 54:00Speaker 4: Rich is doing the show from his house and I
- 54:03Speaker 4: just found out on my computer that I can see everybody.
- 54:06Speaker 4: This is so exciting.
- 54:07Speaker 6: It's incredible. I can see Rich in his house.
- 54:10Speaker 4: Where'd you get the crutches from, Rich?
- 54:12Speaker 7: They were in the garage from the last time, remember,
- 54:14Speaker 7: at Love Pup Family Fest, when I jacked the other knee.
- 54:18Speaker 7: So they're left over from that.
- 54:19Speaker 6: So why don't you recap what happened.
- 54:22Speaker 4: To you this morning?
- 54:23Speaker 7: Oh, I was getting into the shower, and my knee
- 54:25Speaker 7: just popped and laid me out, so... I am– oh,
- 54:30Speaker 7: a nice background. So I am stationary. I've been texting
- 54:35Speaker 7: my wife. You know, it's a good– I got to
- 54:37Speaker 7: tell you, I need to be as healthy as I
- 54:38Speaker 7: possibly can because I love my wife, Stacy. But she
- 54:41Speaker 7: is really no help when anybody is sick. Remember last
- 54:45Speaker 7: time I hurt my leg? She's like, did you get
- 54:47Speaker 7: the mail today or are you still hurt? That's kind
- 54:49Speaker 7: of what I get. So she said, just let me
- 54:51Speaker 7: know if you need anything. And I said, yeah, I
- 54:54Speaker 7: would love a water. And she's like, yeah, in about
- 54:56Speaker 7: five minutes. That was about an hour ago. And I
- 54:58Speaker 7: haven't heard from her. She left entirely or is just
- 55:01Speaker 7: busy doing her thing. She's a busy working woman. She
- 55:04Speaker 7: got no time for this.
- 55:05Speaker 4: So check out my background now. What am I in?
- 55:10Speaker 10: You're in a hobbit house.
- 55:12Speaker 4: I'm on the beach. No, I'm not. I'm in some
- 55:14Speaker 4: jungle here. Oh, there you go.
- 55:17Speaker 6: That looks more like I'm at Southwest Hermosa Inn.
- 55:21Speaker 14: All right.
- 55:21Speaker 4: Which I've never been. Okay.
- 55:22Speaker 6: Do we have the montage ready?
- 55:25Speaker 15: Noah?
- 55:27Speaker 7: Looks like there's a few here.
- 55:29Speaker 4: Okay. So this was Noah's game. So just a quick recap.
- 55:33Speaker 4: Peyton was sharing with us her story of going to
- 55:36Speaker 4: the woman doctor. And, you know, because we're on the radio,
- 55:40Speaker 4: we try to use words that are radio safe. And
- 55:43Speaker 4: so she used the word hoo-ha. So we said hoo-ha.
- 55:46Speaker 4: And apparently Noah noticed that we said it quite a bit.
- 55:50Speaker 4: Not everybody needs to see the hoo-ha.
- 55:52Speaker 6: People senior hoo-ha.
- 55:53Speaker 10: Do you guys want to come over and see my hoo-ha?
- 55:55Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 55:55Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. Well, you're getting older. Maybe not.
- 55:57Speaker 1: All right.
- 55:58Speaker 4: So it was said a lot more than that. And Noah,
- 56:02Speaker 4: the number you told me this morning is still the number, right?
- 56:05Speaker 16: Right?
- 56:06Speaker 4: Yeah. Okay. Okay. So if you guess how many times
- 56:09Speaker 4: we say hoo-ha.
- 56:10Speaker 6: We're going to give you tickets to the Diamondbacks.
- 56:13Speaker 4: There's quite a few right there.
- 56:14Speaker 6: Tanya, how many times did we say hoo-ha this morning?
- 56:17Speaker 14: I'm going with 16.
- 56:21Speaker 6: Noah, how many numbers? How many times did we say
- 56:23Speaker 6: who out this morning?
- 56:24Speaker 11: You aren't going to believe this.
- 56:27Speaker 4: 16.
- 56:27Speaker 8: Oh, my God.
- 56:28Speaker 14: Wow.
- 56:28Speaker 10: Tonya, you literally nailed it.
- 56:34Speaker 4: What?
- 56:35Speaker 10: You didn't give anyone else a chance.
- 56:38Speaker 7: Yay.
- 56:38Speaker 4: I don't even know what to think.
- 56:41Speaker 8: Was that a guess, Tonya? Like, how did you, what
- 56:43Speaker 8: made you come up with that number? Did it just
- 56:45Speaker 8: come to you?
- 56:47Speaker 12: I do remember just hearing it quite a bit.
- 56:50Speaker 2: So I figured it was better to shoot higher than lower.
- 56:55Speaker 4: Wow. Okay. Well.
- 56:56Speaker 10: I'm impressed.
- 56:58Speaker 6: Congratulations.
- 57:00Speaker 4: That's awesome. Thank you. Hold on, Tanya. We're going to
- 57:02Speaker 4: set you up with tickets to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Unreal.
- 57:06Speaker 10: That's a first try. First try.
- 57:09Speaker 4: Wow.
- 57:09Speaker 9: All right.
- 57:10Speaker 4: Well, here's what we're getting into. We got a guy
- 57:12Speaker 4: that needs advice. He needs advice. Is it cheating what
- 57:17Speaker 4: he's going through? We'll talk to him next. Hey, Ron,
- 57:26Speaker 4: good morning.
- 57:27Speaker 15: Hi, good morning.
- 57:28Speaker 6: I understand you have a situation you need to run.
- 57:30Speaker 4: By us, yes?
- 57:31Speaker 1: Well, you know, I heard a little thing about do
- 57:36Speaker 1: you consider it cheating or not? That whole conversation, and
- 57:39Speaker 1: I have a pretty good story about that and what
- 57:43Speaker 1: I think cheating is.
- 57:44Speaker 4: But You're talking about the other day we were talking about,
- 57:45Speaker 4: is it cheating if you text with a co-worker late
- 57:49Speaker 4: at night? Or is it cheating if you send sexy
- 57:52Speaker 4: emojis back and forth? That kind of thing, right?
- 57:55Speaker 1: No, today it was cheating if, say, a girl kisses
- 57:58Speaker 1: another girl, your wife kisses another female or something like this, right?
- 58:02Speaker 4: Okay.
- 58:03Speaker 1: I consider cheating... Anything that they do that's outside of
- 58:07Speaker 1: your knowledge kind of deal.
- 58:09Speaker 14: Okay.
- 58:10Speaker 1: We had a party, and I have a bar in
- 58:11Speaker 1: my basement, and I have a pool table and an
- 58:14Speaker 1: air hockey table and a foosball table. And one night
- 58:18Speaker 1: we had this huge party. I don't even know what
- 58:20Speaker 1: the party was for, but next thing I know, this
- 58:22Speaker 1: gal takes her shirt off, right, and rips my wife's
- 58:25Speaker 1: shirt off. And they're laying on the floor, and they're
- 58:29Speaker 1: kind of making out and stuff.
- 58:30Speaker 4: To me.
- 58:32Speaker 1: I didn't consider that cheating. Well, I didn't consider it
- 58:34Speaker 1: cheating because I was there and I watched the whole thing.
- 58:37Speaker 1: I wasn't doing anything behind my back.
- 58:38Speaker 6: That's how I play foosball.
- 58:40Speaker 4: Okay. Go ahead.
- 58:42Speaker 1: So, no, this is crazy. So next thing I know,
- 58:46Speaker 1: this gal and her husband were there and she took
- 58:50Speaker 1: all her clothes off and she sits on my pool
- 58:53Speaker 1: table and puts one leg down one rail and one
- 58:55Speaker 1: leg down the other, right? completely naked. And my wife
- 58:58Speaker 1: looks up and she's trying to shoot pool. She's like,
- 59:01Speaker 1: oh my God. She goes, what am I supposed to
- 59:02Speaker 1: do with this? And I go, you can so make that.
- 59:06Speaker 1: That's an easy shot.
- 59:07Speaker 4: That's a big right there. Okay.
- 59:11Speaker 1: And I was in so much trouble. But the night
- 59:13Speaker 1: goes on a little bit more, right? And we're trying
- 59:16Speaker 1: to get her dressed and not knowing that they're swingers
- 59:19Speaker 1: by nature.
- 59:19Speaker 4: You did not pick up on that.
- 59:21Speaker 10: By nature.
- 59:22Speaker 1: We didn't pick up on that immediately because I'm the
- 59:25Speaker 1: soccer coach. I was the coach of their son's soccer team.
- 59:28Speaker 13: Okay.
- 59:29Speaker 1: So that's how we became friends anyways. But, man, this
- 59:33Speaker 1: woman was out of control. So my wife drinks a
- 59:36Speaker 1: little bit too much. And her husband says, oh, you
- 59:39Speaker 1: can go ahead and get with Ron. My wife drank
- 59:42Speaker 1: and went to bed and left me alone with these people, right?
- 59:46Speaker 1: And I'm trying to get everyone out of my house,
- 59:47Speaker 1: and they're the only ones left. And pretty soon, the
- 59:52Speaker 1: music's still playing, and she was fully dressed. Next thing
- 59:54Speaker 1: I know, she's naked again. She's stripped off all her clothes.
- 59:56Speaker 4: Again, you know?
- 59:58Speaker 1: And he's like, you can go ahead and get with Ron.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: And she goes, why don't you go up and get
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: with her? And he goes, no, she's had too much
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: to drink and whatever, whatever. And I'm like, no, that's
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: not an option. You know, I mean, you didn't ask me.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: You guys are making decisions here. So now I got
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: this naked gal pressing up against me, and I'm against
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: the wall. And I'm like, I'm your son's soccer coach.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: You can't be doing this to me right now.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: You guys need to go home.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: And next morning, I say this night, finally, I get
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: through this night. And there was no cheating on my part.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I mean, I watched my wife and her kiss and
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: stuff on, you know, before we played pool and everything.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: But the next morning, we're cleaning house, right? And my
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: wife picks up this pair of panties and says, what
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: the hell are these? And I go, that is your
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: fault right there. I did nothing wrong. I said she
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: kept taking her clothes off. I couldn't keep her dressed.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: And she kept messing up against me, and I couldn't
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: get him to go home.
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: Are you saying she's mad at you? Because she was
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: there when it happened, and then she went to bed, right?
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: So there's a lot to unpack with your story. But
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: it's funny because what this reminds me of is– an
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: extreme version of something Kyle brought up the other day, right?
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: You probably don't know where I'm going.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: Do you know where I'm going? Try to make friends
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: as an adult, because he's, he's a soccer coach of their,
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: so you don't know these people. So you're, you're the
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: soccer coach with these kids. So how does it happen
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: where you get invited to a party? You're, you're their
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: new friends. And Kyle was like, you know, who's bringing
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: the lawn chairs? How do you make friends with someone
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: at a party? This is an extreme version of that.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: I'm the soccer coach.
- 1:01:37Speaker 11: Right.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: And they kept asking me, they call me at home
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: sometimes and say, why is my son so tired today?
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: And I go, cause this is soccer. This isn't golf.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: You know, we run, we run laps and we do stuff. And, and,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: and we were really good. We were a premier team.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: They had to try out to play for me. Then
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: all of a sudden, all these moms came. I'm like
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: this amazing guy, you know, and all these moms are
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: after me.
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: Oh, my gosh, no.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: At the foosball table.
- 1:02:01Speaker 10: No, I brought it up because my son started on
- 1:02:04Speaker 10: a new baseball team, and we don't know anybody. And
- 1:02:07Speaker 10: it's like in the past we've gotten to know all
- 1:02:09Speaker 10: the players and parents and all the teammates and stuff
- 1:02:12Speaker 10: like that. And it's like after, like, and I think
- 1:02:15Speaker 10: down the road, after sports goes away, like, how do
- 1:02:18Speaker 10: you make friends as an adult? Because it's, like, usually
- 1:02:20Speaker 10: easy to make friends with kids.
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: Well, I think she's going to get a pool table
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: in the basement.
- 1:02:24Speaker 8: I'm sorry, I don't feel like you do make friends
- 1:02:26Speaker 8: as adults.
- 1:02:26Speaker 10: You just keep the same ones.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: A foosball table and an air hockey table.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: I forgot about the trifecta and the air hockey table.
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: Clothes come off and friendships are made.
- 1:02:36Speaker 14: Yeah, buddy. Oh, yeah.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: You know what? I'm a foosball player. That's my favorite
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: game in the world.
- 1:02:43Speaker 13: Spinning?
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: Do you spin?
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: No, I do not. There's a rule to that. You
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: only get one and a half spins, so you have
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: to control your ball and control your man.
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: Well, you did that night, and I'm proud of you.
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: All right, Ron.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: Listen, let's just end it here. I don't think we
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: can go.
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: I mean, there's just enough in the topic.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: I'll tell you that I forgot.
- 1:03:03Speaker 6: You forgot what?
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: We were all drinking, and, I mean, there was no
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: physical touching from me.
- 1:03:08Speaker 14: Right.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: If you have a good coach, and I don't care
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: who you are, for some reason, I think... that parents
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: fall in love with you.
- 1:03:16Speaker 10: I've had some good coaches coach my kids. I did
- 1:03:18Speaker 10: not fall in love with them.
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: I've got to say, though, like, who are you hanging
- 1:03:22Speaker 8: out with? That is, like, a legitimate fear, though. Like,
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: for me, right, I am a new wife, and my
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: husband is a basketball coach, and I legit have nightmares
- 1:03:33Speaker 8: about his players, like, moms trying to get at him.
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: Well, don't let him get a foosball table.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: That's exactly what I'm talking about.
- 1:03:38Speaker 10: Maybe that's a whole thing.
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: All right, Ron.
- 1:03:41Speaker 10: Maybe that's the story we should be following.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: That is the one. We're going to have to check
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: in with you every once in a while.
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: Can we get your number, Ron? Can we get your number?
- 1:03:48Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: You can check in with me anytime you want.
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: Coach Ron.
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: Ron, Ron. Coach Ron.
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: Ron Lasso. This never happened in Ted Lasso's show.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: Hold on, Ron. How many episodes I saw. Hold on.
- 1:03:58Speaker 8: Johnny Rich.
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: Some behind-the-scenes stuff. Rich blew out his knee. He's home
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: in his basement doing the show from his basement with
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: crutches behind him. So we're going to get to some
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: entertainment news. Kyle and Peyton, what do you guys have?
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: What's going on?
- 1:04:18Speaker 10: Dolly Parton passing was shocking news for the world, right?
- 1:04:23Speaker 10: It rocked the world. Since then, everyone's been doing tributes
- 1:04:26Speaker 10: to Dolly Parton. But this one, I don't think anybody
- 1:04:28Speaker 10: expected to see this one. Right outside of Buckingham Palace.
- 1:04:32Speaker 10: palace the changing of the guard they had literally all
- 1:04:36Speaker 10: of the royal uh musicians come out and do nine
- 1:04:39Speaker 10: to five.
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: Buckingham nine to five.
- 1:04:55Speaker 8: That's so cool.
- 1:04:56Speaker 10: I was like, it was because when we very first
- 1:04:59Speaker 10: talked about it, Peyton was like, nine to five, nine
- 1:05:01Speaker 10: to five, nine to five. And I'm like, even the
- 1:05:03Speaker 10: royal family wanted nine to five. And they gave it
- 1:05:06Speaker 10: to us. Ariana Grande, she's doing Speak About London. She's
- 1:05:10Speaker 10: actually got a residency in London right now. And there's
- 1:05:14Speaker 10: a little bit of a mixed bag about what she
- 1:05:17Speaker 10: asked fans to do the other night at her concert.
- 1:05:20Speaker 8: I know this isn't the most convenient time to ask
- 1:05:23Speaker 8: for quiet, but would you mind just.
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: Letting me start this loop for the first 90 seconds
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: of this song, and then I.
- 1:05:27Speaker 17: Promise after it, I can.
- 1:05:30Speaker 10: Make more of it. Okay, so all these fans going
- 1:05:31Speaker 10: nuts because they're here to see Ariana Grande. They want
- 1:05:33Speaker 10: to cheer for her, and she's like, I just need
- 1:05:35Speaker 10: complete silence. So what's happening is she's actually doing something
- 1:05:38Speaker 10: really cool that artists have been doing, like Ed Sheeran
- 1:05:40Speaker 10: has done this before. They do a loop where she
- 1:05:41Speaker 10: sings a line, and then it loops, and then she
- 1:05:44Speaker 10: sings over herself again, and then it loops, and then
- 1:05:47Speaker 10: she sings over, essentially creating her own harmony. I don't
- 1:05:52Speaker 10: care what people say is true, say.
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: Is true.
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: I don't care what people say is true, say is true.
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: It's kind of cool right wow that's cool but even that.
- 1:06:22Speaker 10: Was 30 seconds and it felt kind of long and
- 1:06:25Speaker 10: she did 90 seconds of that and this is where
- 1:06:27Speaker 10: i say there's a little bit of a mixed band
- 1:06:29Speaker 10: bag because some fans are actually mad how dare she
- 1:06:34Speaker 10: ask us to be quiet for 90 seconds during her
- 1:06:37Speaker 10: show so now there's this whole debate online about like
- 1:06:40Speaker 10: is that okay for her to do or not okay?
- 1:06:42Speaker 10: I'm like, it's her show, dude. And the cool thing
- 1:06:45Speaker 10: was is that everyone there actually was quiet.
- 1:06:48Speaker 8: And that's awesome because I remember when Billie Eilish was
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: here and she did that loop thing and people were
- 1:06:53Speaker 8: screaming in the middle and she got really, really frustrated.
- 1:06:55Speaker 8: And I mean, it's a whole other form of their artistry.
- 1:06:57Speaker 17: So, I mean.
- 1:06:59Speaker 8: If you're at an Ariana Grande concert and she's asking
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: you to be quiet for 90 seconds, I think you
- 1:07:03Speaker 8: should probably do it. Anyway, the iHeartRadio Music Festival is
- 1:07:06Speaker 8: bringing back the free interactive House of Music experience. It's
- 1:07:09Speaker 8: going to be right outside the T-Mobile Arena during the
- 1:07:12Speaker 8: festival on September 18th and the 19th.
- 1:07:16Speaker 10: Is insane.
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: So fans can jump into an interactive swim pool inside
- 1:07:20Speaker 8: the BTS room. You can step straight onto the set
- 1:07:23Speaker 8: of Cardi B's Little Miss Drama Tour. You can grab
- 1:07:25Speaker 8: a personalized postcard at Kenny Chesney's Marina or even hit
- 1:07:29Speaker 8: up Zara Larsson's Swedish Summer gas station takeaway.
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: It's a pretty advanced thing.
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: It's pretty cool. No one else does it.
- 1:07:33Speaker 10: It looks so awesome. Like Hyundai is the one sponsoring it. So,
- 1:07:37Speaker 10: and they, I don't know, they had to fork over
- 1:07:40Speaker 10: like an amazing amount because they look like so incredible.
- 1:07:43Speaker 10: Like this is the most Instagrammable moment in Vegas you're
- 1:07:46Speaker 10: going to have that weekend, which is really, really cool.
- 1:07:48Speaker 8: It's going to be epic.
- 1:07:49Speaker 10: Epic.
- 1:07:49Speaker 12: Also, Jay-Z.
- 1:07:51Speaker 10: Somewhat pretty epic. They actually filmed an eight-episode sit-down of
- 1:07:56Speaker 10: Jay-Z with legendary producer Rick Rubin for a new HBO
- 1:08:00Speaker 10: Max series. And apparently the entire show is literally just
- 1:08:04Speaker 10: the two of them talking.
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: Imagine.
- 1:08:06Speaker 7: Allow me to reintroduce myself.
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: My name is.
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: Round nine is when I caught the bug like being obsessed.
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: I would write every day. That feeling of.
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: That underdog, that's why people were listening.
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: That's why it hit them somewhere. So, like, very similar
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: to me when i saw that clip yesterday around nine
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: i caught the bug too but it was chicken pox
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: no okay.
- 1:08:28Speaker 10: All right john day the trailer is out now if
- 1:08:31Speaker 10: you want to do like joan did and watch it
- 1:08:34Speaker 10: but the show will actually or the series will premiere
- 1:08:37Speaker 10: september 18th so i don't know you guys but i
- 1:08:40Speaker 10: have been really looking forward to tomorrow for quite some
- 1:08:42Speaker 10: time because alex warren's new album wild child comes out
- 1:08:46Speaker 10: Super excited about that.
- 1:08:47Speaker 19: I know.
- 1:08:47Speaker 10: It's like I'm ready for the whole thing. But he's
- 1:08:50Speaker 10: been doing little teasers of songs off the album from
- 1:08:52Speaker 10: here and there. And yesterday he shared a video saying
- 1:08:56Speaker 10: that his dad, who is passed away, his dad has
- 1:08:59Speaker 10: moved on.
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: To the heavens.
- 1:09:00Speaker 10: And he said his dad's favorite artist was John Mayer.
- 1:09:05Speaker 10: And on his new album, he got the two of
- 1:09:07Speaker 10: them on the record together. And he plays a piece
- 1:09:10Speaker 10: of a video of his dad and the part of
- 1:09:13Speaker 10: John Mayer's part of his song.
- 1:09:23Speaker 9: I'm.
- 1:09:24Speaker 10: I'm so excited to see this because Alex Warren, he's
- 1:09:26Speaker 10: got a lot of songs about his parents that have
- 1:09:28Speaker 10: both passed on. And he's been very open about how, like,
- 1:09:31Speaker 10: he will never stop grieving his parents. Of course not.
- 1:09:34Speaker 10: And even in the middle of his concert, he got
- 1:09:36Speaker 10: very emotional singing one of those songs that was to
- 1:09:39Speaker 10: his parents.
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: Is there a story how they died or anything? Because
- 1:09:42Speaker 6: he's young.
- 1:09:42Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:09:43Speaker 10: His dad died really young and then his mom was
- 1:09:45Speaker 10: an alcoholic and then she passed away.
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: A little bit later on.
- 1:09:47Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:09:47Speaker 10: So it's his story is it's. It's really sad.
- 1:09:50Speaker 8: Is that why.
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: It was the Little Orphan Alex tour?
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: Because originally that's what the name of the tour was.
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: And then eventually at some point it changed.
- 1:09:58Speaker 10: I didn't know that.
- 1:10:00Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:10:00Speaker 10: He's got a really fascinating story. At one point he
- 1:10:03Speaker 10: was homeless living in his car. And now he's Alex Warren.
- 1:10:06Speaker 10: And he met his wife while he was homeless. And
- 1:10:09Speaker 10: so everybody loves Cobra. Anyways, it's all that.
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: What's her name? Cobra?
- 1:10:12Speaker 12: Cobra.
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: Oh, Cobra.
- 1:10:13Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:10:13Speaker 14: Wow.
- 1:10:14Speaker 8: I'm so excited about tomorrow.
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: You are a fan. You are a fan of Alex.
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: I don't know of any celebrities that I know that
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: much dish about him. That's pretty cool.
- 1:10:24Speaker 10: He's very open about it. I think it helps a
- 1:10:25Speaker 10: lot of people.
- 1:10:26Speaker 8: For sure. Katelyn Clark, she is dropping a Taylor Swift-inspired
- 1:10:29Speaker 8: colorway for her upcoming signature Nike Katelyn one-line.
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 1:10:33Speaker 8: That's smart.
- 1:10:34Speaker 10: So genius.
- 1:10:34Speaker 8: Yeah, so it's going to have, like, a colorful— it' s going
- 1:10:36Speaker 8: to be the friendship bracelet sneakers. It has, like, a
- 1:10:39Speaker 8: gradient design, and on the laces, there's, like, actual beads
- 1:10:42Speaker 8: that are kind of, like, woven in.
- 1:10:44Speaker 15: Oh, wow.
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: I get those.
- 1:10:45Speaker 8: Yeah, and it's basically honoring the heiress to her. Katelyn,
- 1:10:47Speaker 8: she— I mean, she has admitted that she is a Swiftie.
- 1:10:49Speaker 8: She's a Swiftie.
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: You know what? It's pretty smart because I think the
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: shoe game has been dying a lot. There's no hype
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: like it used to be two years ago.
- 1:10:55Speaker 8: Because, well, you have, like, the Kobe's, and then you
- 1:10:57Speaker 8: have the Sabrina's, and then now, you know, you have
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: the Asia's. And so, Caitlyn's trying to make her way
- 1:11:01Speaker 8: in there. But, yeah, Taylor Swift, she, like, completely approved
- 1:11:03Speaker 8: the shoes, and they're set to drop to the public
- 1:11:06Speaker 8: in October.
- 1:11:06Speaker 6: That's going to be huge. And Taylor approved it, too.
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: Do you have a picture of them?
- 1:11:09Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: Oh, you got to post it.
- 1:11:10Speaker 8: Yeah, they're really cool. They're, like, cream, and they, like,
- 1:11:13Speaker 8: gradient into, like— Cream?
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: That's my color.
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: Yeah, they are.
- 1:11:16Speaker 8: And they're, like, kind of, like— what's so distressed a
- 1:11:19Speaker 8: little bit.
- 1:11:20Speaker 10: I actually saw them and I was like, these are
- 1:11:22Speaker 10: pretty dope.
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: Can they be casual? They have to be basketball shoes.
- 1:11:25Speaker 8: I mean, you can probably wear them casual, but like,
- 1:11:28Speaker 8: I'm definitely rocking them on the court.
- 1:11:30Speaker 10: People wear basketball shoes without an amount anyway.
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: No, I know. But when you see, like, I remember
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: when I saw somebody wearing Grinch's in a restaurant.
- 1:11:37Speaker 8: Yeah, that's odd.
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: I was like, whoa, that's a basketball shoe. What are
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: you doing? That's a $ 300 shoe.
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: A lot of people wear the books as like outdoor shoes.
- 1:11:44Speaker 8: And I'm like, I don't, I think they look weird.
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: The thing about the books is I thought those were
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: going to take the place of Air Force Ones as
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: an everyday shoe.
- 1:11:51Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:11:52Speaker 6: But they run a little too tight for it. Oh,
- 1:11:54Speaker 6: those are cool.
- 1:11:55Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: They're pretty dope.
- 1:11:56Speaker 10: I think they could pretty much be worn as tennis shoes.
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: What if they make me run faster?
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: Probably.
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: Probably make you shoot better.
- 1:12:02Speaker 10: John Jay, I know you're a fan of Landman.
- 1:12:04Speaker 6: Love Landman.
- 1:12:05Speaker 10: Not some great news for you.
- 1:12:07Speaker 14: Oh, no.
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: What?
- 1:12:08Speaker 10: So when it comes to season three, I know all
- 1:12:11Speaker 10: of us are ready for it.
- 1:12:12Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:12:12Speaker 15: Right?
- 1:12:13Speaker 10: It's not going to come out until sometime in 2027.
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: Oh, really?
- 1:12:17Speaker 10: I know. And I feel like by then we're going
- 1:12:19Speaker 10: to forget about.
- 1:12:20Speaker 8: Everything that happened.
- 1:12:20Speaker 7: That's because that Taylor Sheridan needs to slow down on
- 1:12:23Speaker 7: the shows.
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: He's got too many. He's writing.
- 1:12:25Speaker 7: Just stick to the ones we like. We like Landman
- 1:12:27Speaker 7: and we like Linus right now.
- 1:12:29Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: And yeah, that's great, man. And I like the Madison.
- 1:12:32Speaker 10: But season three is still coming.
- 1:12:34Speaker 8: Oh, God, we lost him.
- 1:12:35Speaker 10: We lost you again.
- 1:12:37Speaker 6: This song is on my workout playlist.
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: I'm on the treadmill doing this song. Tame Impala coming
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: to Mortgage Matchup Center September 14th. Free tickets could be
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: yours right now if you win.
- 1:12:48Speaker 6: Pop 10-877-937-1047.
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: We'll do that at the Maroon 5.
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: John Jay and Rich.
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: All right, we're going to play a game. We've got
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: a contestant, Erica.
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: Good morning, Erica.
- 1:13:08Speaker 4: How are you?
- 1:13:09Speaker 15: Hi, good morning.
- 1:13:10Speaker 13: I'm doing extremely well, thank you.
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: Oh, what a great response. All right, we're going to
- 1:13:14Speaker 6: play Pop 10.
- 1:13:14Speaker 13: All right, awesome.
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: Let's do it. It's time, it's time for Pop 10.
- 1:13:24Speaker 10: All right, as you know, the sky's the limit. Your
- 1:13:26Speaker 10: creativity is how many points you will get. John Jay,
- 1:13:29Speaker 10: we begin with you. Janet Jackson is considering... Finally selling
- 1:13:35Speaker 10: her story for a biopic. So, John Jay, you've got
- 1:13:37Speaker 10: 10 seconds on the clock. Please name as many moments
- 1:13:40Speaker 10: from your life that would absolutely make it into your
- 1:13:44Speaker 10: biopic or biopic. On your mark, get set, go.
- 1:13:48Speaker 6: Birth of my son, Kemp. Birth of Dutch. Birth of Jake.
- 1:13:50Speaker 6: Birth of Blake. Birth of this radio show. Birth of
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: my coworkers, Kyle.
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: Birth of my coworker, Peyton and Nick and Rich and
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: Dylan and Noah.
- 1:14:00Speaker 11: Wow.
- 1:14:01Speaker 10: That was a really strong start, so everyone else, you
- 1:14:03Speaker 10: guys are going to have to come with your A game.
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: Remember, you should have put in that time a whole
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: nation tried to kill you. Remember that? You should put
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: that in there, too.
- 1:14:10Speaker 6: Yeah, but that was the birth of a nation.
- 1:14:13Speaker 10: All right, Rich, we move over to you. Venus and
- 1:14:15Speaker 10: Serena Williams, they just got a wild card to play
- 1:14:17Speaker 10: doubles together at the U.S.
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: Open.
- 1:14:20Speaker 10: Rich, you have 10 seconds to name as many sibling
- 1:14:24Speaker 10: combinations that would absolutely be an unstoppable team. On your mark,
- 1:14:30Speaker 10: get set, go.
- 1:14:31Speaker 7: Okay, Milli Vanilli.
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: Let's see. Brad Pitt and his brother, Nick Pitt. They're great.
- 1:14:39Speaker 7: Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson.
- 1:14:42Speaker 10: I'll count it.
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: I like to red flag that. Brad Pitt's brother's name
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: is Doug.
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: Doug Pitt.
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:14:48Speaker 7: I'm a Brad Pitt fan.
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: Okay, sorry, Rich.
- 1:14:51Speaker 10: That's the truth.
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: True story.
- 1:14:52Speaker 10: We'll have to take away some points for you. Thank you,
- 1:14:54Speaker 10: John Jay.
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: Very competitive.
- 1:14:55Speaker 10: A little fact check right there.
- 1:14:56Speaker 7: What's Doug Pitt doing with his life right now?
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: He's a teacher.
- 1:14:59Speaker 14: All right.
- 1:14:59Speaker 15: Payton.
- 1:15:01Speaker 10: Cardi B is dropping her new music video on Friday
- 1:15:03Speaker 10: for A-ha. So you've got 10 seconds to name as
- 1:15:08Speaker 10: many things Cardi B could yell A-ha after catching you
- 1:15:11Speaker 10: doing on your mark. Kids, which Cardi would be like, A-ha.
- 1:15:16Speaker 10: On your mark, get set, go.
- 1:15:18Speaker 8: When I make a point, when I, you know, let
- 1:15:20Speaker 8: someone know about themselves, when I'm twerking, when we're doing
- 1:15:24Speaker 8: fun stuff on the John Jay and Rich show, she'll say, uh-huh,
- 1:15:27Speaker 8: when I catch a liar.
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: Very good.
- 1:15:32Speaker 10: Okay, Erica, it is very clear right now, John Jay
- 1:15:35Speaker 10: is the one to beat, so listen closely, okay?
- 1:15:38Speaker 11: Okay.
- 1:15:39Speaker 10: Britney Spears' son, Jaden James, he is now the new
- 1:15:42Speaker 10: face of MAC Cosmetics. He even is on the cover
- 1:15:46Speaker 10: of their MAC Cuisine. So, Erica, you've got 10 seconds.
- 1:15:51Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:15:51Speaker 10: You've got 10 seconds to name as many things your
- 1:15:54Speaker 10: parents could do that would absolutely embarrass you if you
- 1:15:58Speaker 10: suddenly became famous. Embarrassing things your parents would do to you.
- 1:16:02Speaker 10: On your mark, get set, go.
- 1:16:06Speaker 13: I scream my name in public.
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:16:09Speaker 10: See their parents when they're walking down the street.
- 1:16:15Speaker 17: With me.
- 1:16:16Speaker 14: I'm sorry.
- 1:16:17Speaker 12: That's okay, Erica.
- 1:16:19Speaker 10: Not the strongest start. However, we do have round two,
- 1:16:22Speaker 10: so you can totally redeem yourself. We will begin round two.
- 1:16:24Speaker 14: Awesome.
- 1:16:25Speaker 12: I'm going to try my best.
- 1:16:26Speaker 14: Okay.
- 1:16:26Speaker 10: All right. I believe in you.
- 1:16:27Speaker 8: All right.
- 1:16:28Speaker 10: John Jay. Northwest earlier this week said she just wants
- 1:16:31Speaker 10: a regular job. She wants to work like Starbucks or
- 1:16:33Speaker 10: something like that, which would be like Oh, my gosh.
- 1:16:35Speaker 10: Can I have a pumpkin spice latte Northwest? That would
- 1:16:38Speaker 10: be very odd to see. So, John Jay, you've got
- 1:16:42Speaker 10: 10 seconds on the clock to name as many completely
- 1:16:44Speaker 10: normal jobs. It would be hilarious if you saw a
- 1:16:47Speaker 10: Kardashian working at on your market set.
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: Go drive through a Burger King, drive through McDonald's, drive
- 1:16:51Speaker 4: through a Wendy's, drive through at Starbucks, drive through at
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: the Dutch Brothers, drive through a KFC, drive through a Winchell's, drive.
- 1:16:59Speaker 6: Through a Bosa.
- 1:17:00Speaker 10: Pretty much every drive-thru. Any drive-thru. Okay. Rich Barra.
- 1:17:05Speaker 7: I need, what, 74 points now to tie?
- 1:17:09Speaker 10: Just like 85. Lady Gaga is trying to revolutionize skin
- 1:17:13Speaker 10: health with new technology. So, Rich, you've got 10 seconds
- 1:17:16Speaker 10: to name as many ridiculous beauty inventions you wish actually existed.
- 1:17:22Speaker 10: On your mark, get set, go.
- 1:17:24Speaker 7: Eat french fries, get great abs and skin. Leeches on
- 1:17:27Speaker 7: your face. Spiders on your face. The venom of a scorpion.
- 1:17:32Speaker 7: The venom of a cobra.
- 1:17:35Speaker 11: Okay.
- 1:17:37Speaker 10: Beauty inventions. All right. I don't know if I can
- 1:17:41Speaker 10: count any of those.
- 1:17:42Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:17:44Speaker 10: A valiant effort though, Rich. All right, Peyton, I'm going
- 1:17:46Speaker 10: to move over to you. We just talked earlier about
- 1:17:48Speaker 10: Caitlin Clark's shoe she's dropping. It's Taylor Swift inspired. But
- 1:17:52Speaker 10: Pharrell also has a shoe drop with Adidas. They just
- 1:17:56Speaker 10: launched their shoe designed to be worn in water. It
- 1:17:59Speaker 10: is a water shoe, you guys. Pharrell is making water
- 1:18:01Speaker 10: shoes cool.
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:18:02Speaker 8: I would totally get a pair of water shoes.
- 1:18:05Speaker 10: So Peyton, you've got 10 seconds to name as many
- 1:18:08Speaker 10: things you wish somebody would just make waterproof. On your mark,
- 1:18:12Speaker 10: get set, go.
- 1:18:13Speaker 8: Your phones, your nails, because they always peel when they
- 1:18:16Speaker 8: get wet. Also, your clothes, your hair, your makeup, your
- 1:18:21Speaker 8: fresh lashes.
- 1:18:24Speaker 10: Pretty good. But going into our final contestant in round two, Erica,
- 1:18:29Speaker 10: the one to beat is still John J. Van Ness.
- 1:18:31Speaker 10: You are going to have to go fast and furious,
- 1:18:33Speaker 10: but I believe in you. Justin Bieber.
- 1:18:35Speaker 15: Okay, thank you.
- 1:18:36Speaker 10: You're welcome. Justin Bieber has apparently fallen in love with Idaho.
- 1:18:40Speaker 10: He's been spotted vacationing there like multiple times this summer.
- 1:18:43Speaker 10: And people are like, is he going to move there
- 1:18:44Speaker 10: or what? Erica, you've got 10 seconds to name as
- 1:18:47Speaker 10: many completely random places. where seeing Justin Bieber would make
- 1:18:52Speaker 10: you say, oh, my gosh, what is he? Is that
- 1:18:54Speaker 10: just a beat? What is he doing here? Completely random places.
- 1:18:58Speaker 10: On your mark, get set, go.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: At Walmart, in Idaho, California, really anywhere, at Starbucks.
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: At the shoe store.
- 1:19:12Speaker 10: At the back door.
- 1:19:13Speaker 19: That was pretty good.
- 1:19:15Speaker 10: That was better than round one. But our Pop 10
- 1:19:18Speaker 10: winner today is John J. Van Ness.
- 1:19:22Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: The good news for.
- 1:19:24Speaker 10: You, Erica, is even though John J. just won, you
- 1:19:27Speaker 10: do not go away empty-handed.
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: Yeah, we're going to set you up with Tame Impala.
- 1:19:31Speaker 6: So hold on a line.
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: We're going to set you up, Erica. Thanks for playing.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Yay, thank you, guys.
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: I appreciate it. Thank you.
- 1:19:35Speaker 18: Bye.
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: Thanks for listening. Hold on.
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: Yeah, for some reason, you guys. Oh, come on, turn
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: it up. For some reason, you guys. This happened on
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: Ted Lasso last night, too. He's playing the All I
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: Do Is Win song.
- 1:19:51Speaker 6: Isn't that weird?
- 1:19:52Speaker 10: We've had so many Ted Lasso-esque things on the show today.
- 1:19:54Speaker 10: Rich blew out his knee.
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: Roy Kent blew out his knee. They do a whole
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: trivia thing in the bar. We play Minute to Win It.
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: All I do is win, win, win, no matter what.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: All right, not only are.
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: We going to get the three things you need to know, but, so,
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: you know, Dolly Parton passed away. Tim Curry passed away.
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: The voice of Optimus Prime just passed away. Oh, I
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: didn't hear about that. That's a bummer. I have a
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: list now that's going viral. Yes, sir, I have a
- 1:20:16Speaker 4: list that's going viral. older celebrities who must be protected
- 1:20:22Speaker 4: at all costs who are still alive. So I'll go
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: over that list either before or after three things, you know,
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: and what is coming up with three things you need
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: to know.
- 1:20:28Speaker 10: I guess hackers have apparently been trying to get into
- 1:20:30Speaker 10: some of the most important systems in America. And the
- 1:20:33Speaker 10: list of what they targeted is kind of terrifying. I'll
- 1:20:36Speaker 10: fill you in next with John Jay and Rich.
- 1:20:39Speaker 4: Get up, get up.
- 1:20:39Speaker 7: From the car to the office.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: Wake up with them every morning.
- 1:20:43Speaker 14: John Jay and Rich.
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: All right. So Dolly Parton passed away.
- 1:20:48Speaker 6: Yesterday, Tim Curry died.
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: And today, the voice of Optimist Prime died.
- 1:20:53Speaker 6: These are like older celebrities.
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: So BuzzFeed put together a list of older celebrities who
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: must be protected at all costs.
- 1:21:00Speaker 10: I've got a guess.
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: Okay, who?
- 1:21:02Speaker 10: Harrison Ford.
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: No, what a good one, though. How is he not
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: on that list?
- 1:21:06Speaker 10: He's older. He's got to be in his 70s or 80s, right?
- 1:21:09Speaker 7: I think he's 80.
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: You know what? Well, let me go over some of
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: these because I don't think there's anyone that young on
- 1:21:15Speaker 4: this list.
- 1:21:15Speaker 6: Yeah, there's no one that young on this list.
- 1:21:18Speaker 10: Okay, but that's kind of old, right?
- 1:21:19Speaker 4: Maybe not. And if they're not protecting him, why are
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: we even talking? Okay, I'll tell you what. William Daniels
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: and his wife, Bonnie Bartlett. Nick, you know who they are? Yep.
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: You know who they are?
- 1:21:28Speaker 15: Mr.
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: Feeney and his wife, who played his wife in the show.
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: He's 99, she's 97.
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: Sophia Loren will be 92 next month.
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: Tippi Hendren, you guys know who she is?
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: No.
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: She is the grandmother to Dakota Fanning.
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: She's in Birds, the Alfred Hitchcock movie.
- 1:21:45Speaker 6: She's 96.
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: Mel Brooks, Spaceballs, is 100. Michael Caine is 93. He's 100? Yes.
- 1:21:52Speaker 10: And they're doing a new Spaceballs movie with him in it.
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:21:55Speaker 13: He's 100?
- 1:21:55Speaker 10: George Takai, he's 89.
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: He lives here, George Takai. Marla Gibbs. You know Marla Gibbs?
- 1:22:04Speaker 14: No.
- 1:22:04Speaker 10: I don't know George Takei either.
- 1:22:06Speaker 4: Marla Gibbs. Room 22? Well, Marla Gibbs was the cleaning
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: lady on The Jeffersons. Oh, yeah. George Takei is Zulu
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: on Star Trek. Sir David Attenborough, he's 100. You know
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: who he is?
- 1:22:21Speaker 7: He's the voice on all those biographies where they do
- 1:22:25Speaker 7: all the, you know, planet Earth.
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: He's that guy. The guy that goes... And now the
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: hummingbird flies into the leaf to pollinate the vulva.
- 1:22:34Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: Lily Tomlin, she's 87. Shirley MacLaine's 92. William Shatner, Captain Kirk,
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: is 95. He is?
- 1:22:41Speaker 6: Rita Moreno's 94.
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: Dick Van Dyke is 100. He'll be 101 in December.
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: Morgan Freeman is 89. Judy Dench is 92. Ian McKellen
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: is 87. Carol Burnett is 93. Julie Andrews will be
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: 91 in October. And Jane Fonda will be 89 in December.
- 1:23:02Speaker 4: So when you say Harrison Ford, he's a youngster on
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: this list.
- 1:23:05Speaker 10: I stand corrected.
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: He's 84, Harrison Ford.
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: That's what Kyle said when we first started.
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: Fine. You got a lot going on over there, Nick.
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: I get it. You think it's easy?
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: Kyle goes, he's 84.
- 1:23:17Speaker 4: And I go, that's kind of young on this list.
- 1:23:19Speaker 4: And then you're fitting right into that rich role. Do
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: you want me to launch the next song? Not yet. No,
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: launch it in the middle. What are three.
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: Things we need to know, Kyle?
- 1:23:28Speaker 11: All right.
- 1:23:29Speaker 10: This is one of those stories that makes you realize
- 1:23:31Speaker 10: just how much damage hackers could potentially do because the
- 1:23:34Speaker 10: United States– says a Chinese hacking operation has been trying
- 1:23:38Speaker 10: to break into American computer systems for years. And we're
- 1:23:41Speaker 10: not talking about like random websites. They targeted places like NASA,
- 1:23:46Speaker 10: the Justice Department, the Federal Reserve, the U.S. Senate, and
- 1:23:49Speaker 10: actually managed to steal information from defense contractors, banks, and universities.
- 1:23:54Speaker 10: Maybe the creepiest part is they were also going after hospitals,
- 1:23:58Speaker 10: power companies, and phone systems. Basically stuff we all rely
- 1:24:01Speaker 10: on every single day. They did also say they're working
- 1:24:04Speaker 10: on it. So sleep well tonight.
- 1:24:06Speaker 4: They're working on it.
- 1:24:07Speaker 10: All right. Imagine you are getting ready for work. You're
- 1:24:09Speaker 10: hiking through the mountains or you're just on a beautiful
- 1:24:11Speaker 10: trip with your family. Suddenly this massive wall of water, mud, rocks,
- 1:24:15Speaker 10: and ice comes tearing through with basically no time to
- 1:24:17Speaker 10: get out. You've probably seen the images online of the
- 1:24:20Speaker 10: flash flood that happened in Nepal yesterday. And Tibet, it's
- 1:24:22Speaker 10: right on the border there. Entire villages have been wiped
- 1:24:25Speaker 10: away along that border. And more than 350 people are
- 1:24:28Speaker 10: confirmed dead. More than 1,000 are still missing, including dozens
- 1:24:33Speaker 10: of Americans. Families are desperately trying to figure out whether
- 1:24:36Speaker 10: their loved ones survived, what's going on. Rescue crews are
- 1:24:39Speaker 10: flying in helicopters into areas where they can barely reach.
- 1:24:43Speaker 10: One survivor said... He tried to grab his wife's hand
- 1:24:46Speaker 10: as the mud came into their home, but she was
- 1:24:48Speaker 10: swept away and was still missing. And that's probably just
- 1:24:50Speaker 10: one of many of those stories. So thoughts and prayers.
- 1:24:53Speaker 10: And I know they're going to have, you know, like
- 1:24:54Speaker 10: things to donate to to help Nepal. But that was
- 1:24:57Speaker 10: horrific seeing the images of that. The Lindsay Clancy trial
- 1:25:02Speaker 10: has become a viral sensation. It's basically at the finish
- 1:25:05Speaker 10: line today. Closing arguments are going to be wrapping up
- 1:25:07Speaker 10: the case, heading to the jury to decide whether or
- 1:25:09Speaker 10: not she was legally responsible for killing her three children
- 1:25:12Speaker 10: or was suffering from postpartum suicide. Meanwhile, one of the
- 1:25:16Speaker 10: reporters covering the trial has actually become a story herself.
- 1:25:20Speaker 10: Her name is Brittany Romano. She's actually said she grew
- 1:25:24Speaker 10: up with Clancy. If you've been paying attention to this
- 1:25:27Speaker 10: case at all, she was a reporter in the green
- 1:25:29Speaker 10: outfit that as the cameras scanned the people who were
- 1:25:32Speaker 10: attending the trial, she kind of like. was like smiling,
- 1:25:35Speaker 10: kind of like winked into the camera. And everyone was like,
- 1:25:37Speaker 10: are you kidding me? Like, this is kind of ridiculous.
- 1:25:40Speaker 10: She says it wasn't a wink. She was anxious. She
- 1:25:44Speaker 10: wasn't like trying to be whatever. She was like, she
- 1:25:47Speaker 10: was just anxious. And she had a little piece of
- 1:25:50Speaker 10: mascara in her eye. That's why it looked like a wink.
- 1:25:53Speaker 10: I don't buy it. Nobody else bought it. And she
- 1:25:55Speaker 10: worked for Vanity Fair and Vanity Fair didn't buy it either.
- 1:25:58Speaker 10: They fired her and they scrapped the story that she
- 1:26:00Speaker 10: was there to write.
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: That's probably the right thing to do.
- 1:26:03Speaker 10: Probably the appropriate thing to do in that case if
- 1:26:05Speaker 10: you had an employee go there and that became a
- 1:26:08Speaker 10: viral moment from an already viral case. But like I said,
- 1:26:12Speaker 10: the case is at the finish line today and the
- 1:26:15Speaker 10: internets are going to have a heyday with whatever the
- 1:26:18Speaker 10: jury decides. And that's three things you need to know.
