- 0:24[SPEAKER_02]: Josh, Justin, no Blake.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_02]: He's got some children stuff going on tonight.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_02]: He's a really bummed out, because this is an episode.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_02]: He's been wanting to be on with all of the hot drama going on, social media, and Brown's Twitter space this week.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_02]: He wants to get his opinions out on the draft results and everything, so I guess we'll just have to wait until the next time we can get ahold of play and get him on an episode to get his thoughts and opinions on that stuff.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_02]: But tonight we're getting your thoughts, your opinions, your questions, and you guys are going to hear from me and Justin about this.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_02]: Mary K. Cabot stuff and just so happened to be our post on social media that went viral with Shiloh Sanders making the comment that has been spread all over the place.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll talk about all that here in a second before I do everybody make sure you guys if you want to be part of these dog-pack discord lies like I was tell you go to join the dogs.com
- 1:20[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, becoming a member of the dog pack, get into the discord, hang out with everybody in there, be part of these episodes.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_02]: And then, of course, fantasy football, one month from, well, I guess by the time this comes out today, it'll be June 1st.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_02]: Registration opens up.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_02]: If you want a chance to get into a dog pack league and you haven't been before, get in now and you get a chance to play against me or Blake or Kenny or Justin and try to take us down, right, Justin?
- 1:47[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely they've been successful the last the last year on me they've been very successful but not you guys well I've been represented for the dogs and Blake represented last year I got taken down by the year before that I won two leagues so yep it's coming off the back of that I think yeah we're doing well there you're
- 2:06[SPEAKER_02]: Colton says it's kind of glitchy your frozen.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: We can still hear you well.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry guys for I will say this little PSA discord is not a very friendly platform to do this It's really nice to interact with you guys and have you up on stage.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_02]: We run into all kinds of technical difficulties and I don't really understand why what we do here is not
- 2:26[SPEAKER_02]: rocket size, not very complicated, but discord can't handle it.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: If it gets really bad, you guys in the chat, let me know, put in there like, hey, can't hear you can't see you, whatever, as long as you can hear us, we'll keep going.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like Jester says as long as we can hear it's all good.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll move forward with that.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_02]: Justin, why don't we just start off the
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: with the draft talk.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to get your opinion.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_02]: I did a couple recap episodes this week just going through each pic, a little more information about each guy.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_02]: But overall, what was your take away after everything ended Saturday night?
- 2:59[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, man.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I mean, like all Browns fans, I think we're heading into this year kind of
- 3:06[SPEAKER_04]: Where do we say with with a b you know like what's what's our position you know like is this guy going to be able to like lead this team in the right direction I can honestly say coming out of the draft.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_04]: Man, absolute home run like high fives, if I was sitting there with my boys at the end of the thing, we're high five in each other, the the first four picks are in my opinion just absolute just necessity slam dunks and the board felt so well for us.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_04]: It was almost shocking.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_04]: It was almost felt like it's something that would happen for Baltimore, you know what I mean?
- 3:47[SPEAKER_04]: We always joke, Baltimore is always in that position where just the best guys fall at home and they don't even really need to take that guy there, but it's just a nice convenience.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, getting Denzel Boston in the second round, which a lot of people have had, you know, I've argued with it, not even argued, but just, you know, they're like Denzel Boston should have been the pick of 24, you know, like I don't think Casey's the guy, it doesn't matter you added to
- 4:15[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you added your big body wide receiver in the second round.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_04]: You know, a guy that was not supposed to be there, and then to top it off, you get to 58 and a manual McNeil Warren is sitting there, and you're able to pick that guy up.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_04]: Who, that's a guy, I don't even understand how he slid that far in the draft.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_04]: Take it as super talented, super excited about what he can bring as far as depth of the team in a position
- 4:43[SPEAKER_04]: We like Kickman, but you know, it's a lot on uncertainty, and then just add it up.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_04]: There's little things down.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_04]: Down towards the end, you know, like I thought tail and dream was kind of, you know, an interesting kind of just throw it out there.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_04]: The kids metrics are crazy.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_04]: They're crazy.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_04]: Good.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_04]: Like, for the combat will translate, and in this position, it's kind of nice.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_04]: We don't really need it to right right now.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, if we could let this kid kind of sit, see what happens.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_04]: It's it's it's cool pick.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_04]: There was a couple moments like I think, you know,
- 5:21[SPEAKER_04]: When you look at Austin Barber that pic, you know, like a lot of people said there's better guys available, maybe we reached.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_04]: It was a it was a need that we that we had to address and we doubled down on it, you know, we already had final the at the end of the day, I felt like the draft was two years in a row.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_04]: more wildly successful than not, which for as a brownspin, to even hear your team and the top of, hey, this team did really well this weekend for a second year in a row is man, that's got to be exciting if you're a clean brownspin.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_02]: for sure, man.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, I said this the other day too, are all 10 of those picks going to be hits?
- 6:03[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_02]: No, that's not going to happen.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_02]: But those first four should be and need to be.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_02]: And if they are, the rest of it doesn't even matter.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_02]: I do think like I really like getting Justin Jefferson out of Alabama the linebacker.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: I think I feel like he is a good long-term plan behind Quincy Williams for that type of linebacker.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: So hopefully he can turn into that.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if you come out of this draft with four day one starters, which they should, and two years down the road, you end up with five or even maybe six out of the ten or starting or strong contributors for the team.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_02]: That's.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_02]: that's amazing like that we haven't done that under Andrew Barry so yeah these last two drafts have been great um i i really wanted like your opinion on the Denzel boss and thing because i've had the same thing people are like i i don't understand the case he concepts the on-pick i don't like these small receivers who can't catch i'm like first of all dudes five eleven almost 200 pounds like that's not a small receiver he's pretty rocked up and i
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: The analyst that I listened to and I actually talked to one, I did a podcast the other day and he said, there's some Antonio Brown there and I'm like Antonio Brown was like five, ten, whatever.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_02]: Like he wasn't a very big receiver at all, but can you separate?
- 7:20[SPEAKER_02]: Can you get open?
- 7:21[SPEAKER_02]: Can you do stuff with the ball in your hands?
- 7:23[SPEAKER_02]: Casey's crazy, but talk to me about Casey and then obviously Denzel Boston after that.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, as far as Casey, like when you, the biggest knock you're going to hear on him is the drops.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_04]: You're going to hear that probably until the kid makes his first touch down play or his first big play where, you know, this guy can start, you know, silence in some people.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_04]: The kid's got a max for just getting work done.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_04]: And he, he, he, he, he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he
- 7:52[SPEAKER_04]: He's a guy like you watch McCoy 11's film.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_04]: You're like, man, that guy's a dog.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_04]: He's a fighter.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_04]: He's a scrapper and kind of turned his film on.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_04]: You're like,
- 8:02[SPEAKER_04]: There's a lot of the same kind of things going on.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_04]: There's multiple plays where you see him just basically will himself.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_04]: The one in particular, he catches like a ball, like the two yard line and has three guys hang on.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_04]: And he just says screw it.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_04]: We're going in and it drags everybody.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_04]: And obviously he's got a little help the end.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_04]: Guy helps push him in, but the dude is scrappy.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_04]: I love the character, man.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I love the character.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_04]: He's a guy that, like, for me, I listen to his interviews and I don't know how you would want this kid to fail.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_04]: The kid just, like, I like the answers.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_04]: He's been through a lot, man.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_04]: Like, a lot.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_04]: And it doesn't slow him down, man.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_04]: It just, it's almost like added motivation.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_04]: You look at the routes.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_04]: You look at the tape.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, there's some concentration drop things like, you know, but you can clean that up.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_04]: I feel like as far as just from the talent perspective and what he's bringing to the table.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_04]: It's like I'm willing to like have a couple of concentration drops in the first couple of years.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_04]: And see some touchdowns because I don't know if anybody's been paying attention to this team in the last few years, we can't get those we're a 13 point of game team right now, and this kids bring a juice to the table.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, super super exciting.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_04]: And then as far as Denzel Boston, and he's like another kind of scrappy character guy.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, so we really went after now like frame wise, much bigger big body, you know, kind of.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to say like your prototypical like if you were going to say an awful one, you know, kind of guy, but he built it.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_04]: He's built it.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_04]: What six, three, six, four.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_04]: He's a big body.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_04]: Go up, get the ball.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_04]: I like the fact that you can throw both these guys on the field, we talk about, you know, like, hey, let's go into this year, you know, how's the death chart going to shape out?
- 9:59[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe, you know, we're talking about Judy Bon, I'm saying like, I need to see Casey on the field.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_04]: And I need to see Denzel Boston on the field.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_04]: And then, you know, like, if you want to keep Judy around hell, yeah, let's go, you know, we can put him out there, Bon, excited about that, but
- 10:17[SPEAKER_04]: If you're a third year guy or a second year guy on this team and you haven't broke through yet, I'd be very nervous because I think these guys are coming to break through for you.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_04]: I think that these guys are, there's a reason Casey got drafted.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_04]: And you listen to the coaches.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, do Stanley walking up an introduce and himself and saying, hey, you know, we brought you here because you're gonna work, bro.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_04]: We know what you're bringing to the table.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_04]: I think there's a major belief in that building about this rookie class.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_04]: guys it as far as fantasy and stuff.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_04]: This isn't like a high value, you know, draft everybody's like it's kind of we're waiting for next year blah blah blah but man I think we stole some very high character guys and guys that are wanting to work and change the culture that that's the thing that's almost I'm more excited about than anything, you know, when your head coach is talking about change in the culture and you're kind of buying into it and then you look at the guys that he's bringing in it's like,
- 11:14[SPEAKER_04]: You know, it's hard to, you know, not want to drink to cool it is all I'm saying.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_04]: I know we're going to drink to cool it regardless.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_04]: We're leaving Browns fans.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to be here, but man, like, I don't feel like I have to sell myself on some crap with these guys.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_04]: I feel like if they, uh, I'd be very okay with going and get a KC jersey right now.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_04]: I'm wearing that very proudly to a game.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_02]: I'm with you, man.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_02]: His phone call, I can't remember if it was after the draft or the draft call itself and all he kept saying over and over, I'm ready to work, I'm ready to work, I'm ready to work.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, let's do this.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_04]: I literally fell in love.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_04]: I watched that video and I just saw a guy that.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_04]: probably been through some stuff.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_04]: And he sold those guys on, hey, I'm gonna come in here and I'm gonna be a factor for this team.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_04]: And he believes it.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_04]: And then when he was telling Monk and I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, you know, Monk and he's like, yeah, I know you're ready yet.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_04]: So the point where Monk and he's like, yeah, I know you're excited, man, let's just get you in the building.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_04]: It's just, it's so, there is a, you know, I'm not like a big, the kids these days are all big on aura, right, aura for me and stuff like that.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_04]: Watch and him take that hat and put it on and just stand and just take the moment in with his family, like, those are the moments you dream about as a fan, you dream about that as a kid, you know, like, that is,
- 12:44[SPEAKER_04]: ultimate rooting for success stuff like I can't like that and I couldn't be more excited and proud for somebody like that to be on my team.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_02]: Clear path to wide receiver one.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's wide open.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_02]: We don't have one.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_02]: So you don't have one.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_02]: Casey Denzel, whoever, I mean, the thing is it doesn't even mean one of them is going to just be the clear cut wide receiver one.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_02]: We might have like a
- 13:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, maybe one guy's kind of the wide receiver one, but the other guys like one B, you know, one A one B situation because they're both
- 13:18[SPEAKER_02]: Alpha dog mentality type receivers, these are great picks and they compliment each other.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: They don't overstep each other's strengths and weaknesses on the field where KC doesn't excel on the field.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_02]: That's where Denzel is strong and where Denzel doesn't do so well, that's what KC is good at.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: And it's a perfect pairing.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_02]: I just could not get over the fact we were able to get both of these guys without trading.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_02]: Without trading up, I couldn't believe it.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_04]: unreal.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_04]: And the other thing with KC and I know we've touched on this at time, but just the special teams and like the explosive play aspect of this kid's game.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_04]: Oh man, I just can't wait.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_04]: I cannot wait has been a long time watching the Browns on offense and just being excited and having something to be excited about other than like what we think we have.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_04]: You know, we like to say hey,
- 14:11[SPEAKER_04]: We really think Judkins can be a great player, but you know, we got to get the line figured out or, you know, I ain't a Harold Fannon's a target hog and he's a beast, but you know, like, how's it all going to play out when we have other factors around him like, I'm excited to see this all fall together and there just be some legit optimism around this team.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_02]: me too, man.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's going to be fun.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_02]: Brad had his hand up first.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to get Brad up here.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_02]: Brad, did you see the rules?
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: New rules tonight.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_02]: One question.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_02]: Get off stage so we can answer the darn thing.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: And then you can come back up and ask the next one.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: Sound good, brother.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_05]: Sounds good to me.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_02]: Here we go.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, man.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_05]: We're dead.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_05]: What up?
- 14:57[SPEAKER_05]: What up, brother?
- 14:59[SPEAKER_05]: Can you smell what the browns are cooking?
- 15:02[SPEAKER_05]: Ready, go, I'm ready.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_05]: I'm ready to dip into that purple cool egg, brother.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_05]: I'm rather drink that great cool egg.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_05]: My personal favorite is great.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_05]: All right, I like the great cool egg.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_05]: But so my question for you guys, then.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_05]: This.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_05]: The UDFA's, I know I'm, I'm getting out of the main draft.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_02]: You're good.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_05]: The UDFA, who, who do you think has the best chance to make the team out of the UFD guys?
- 15:41[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_02]: Justin, do you have an answer for that?
- 15:44[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm not like huge obviously like a lot.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if we've talked about it.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_04]: I had surgery on money.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_04]: So a lot of the UDFA's have been coming in and I kind of been just kind of keeping track of it.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_04]: I'm excited about is it tire to reach that that's point is to I was just pulling up to get the metrics on like that's the guy I was I enough.
- 16:08[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_04]: For me, and it's just more of the kid was a beast.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_04]: Everything talent wise is there.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_04]: Very interesting.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_04]: I'd like to know why he didn't get drafted.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_04]: You know, and I, that's something I'll have to do a little bit more on, you know, my free time, but as far as just need, still overall on the team.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_04]: There's still, you know, we like Isaiah McGuire, we like it, right, you know, but we've been looking for a Robin.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_04]: Hell, we might be looking for a Batman with Balsger.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
- 16:40[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not sure that that's necessarily a done deal yet, but it would be so nice to just have a nice second guy on the side of that line that's just the other guy.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_04]: you know, we, they've tried to address it.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_04]: We went and went after the Buffalo Kid AJ was epinesa, not didn't work out, you know, it's just been a laundry list of names for, I mean, miles of whole career basically on that other side, whether it's Olivia Verne
- 17:17[SPEAKER_04]: But that's just right initially.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_04]: That was a name that stood out to me that I was excited about me too.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: he had twenty twenty four i know twenty twenty five was a down year for him as far as production but if you go and look at his twenty four stats thirteen tackles for lost seven sacks lead florida in uh... both of those categories forty six tackles two force fumbles i mean i don't think he's the greatest you know obviously if he's projected to be a six seven throne pick he goes u d f a
- 17:51[SPEAKER_02]: he's he's not he's missing some stuff you know he doesn't have the best pass rush arsenal and get off the line and but he does have the production in college and we've seen it we've seen Ronnie Hickman we've seen Muhammad Diabody these guys that come out as UDFA's and they slip all the way through the draft they get on the roster and before you know it they're showing that no I do belong in this league and I think Tyre except could be another one of those guys if things go the right way for him and camp.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_04]: D Anthony Bell, yeah, this team was, I mean, for the early life of this podcast, this team was built on those guys, you know what I mean?
- 18:30[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just really a front end talent, but man, the back end depth of it was a lot of UDFA guys that worked out, you know, free season or two, but it's it's very exciting.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_04]: And I just got to dive more into what's going on that the kid just slipped so far
- 18:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and then just, or thank you, I.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, Logan Faunau, Spencer's older brother, I think that's, he's also a pressure, which I feel like that's really cool because, you know, the more I've gotten to hear from the Faunau brothers and the family and all these stories about them and, you know, they're the videos and them talking.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_02]: They seem like very good people.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that article came out from Jory Epstein, who was in the Brown's draft room and the scout that was primarily in charge of whatever
- 19:20[SPEAKER_02]: said this is the best person, not only is he an elite player, but he's the best overall person in the draft.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_02]: So I feel like we got two really good high character people with him and his brother, and if his brother can come in and stick on the roster like that would be awesome.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_02]: That would be so cool.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_02]: This episode is sponsored by Kaoshi.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_02]: All right, Browns Vand, you know, we've all messed around with the sports books before, right?
- 19:47[SPEAKER_02]: And let's be honest, you're always kind of playing into the house.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_02]: But with Kaoshi, it's different.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_02]: You're not betting against some sports book.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_02]: You're trading against other real world people.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_02]: There's no house trying to beat you Kaoshi just runs the marketplace.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_02]: So if you think the public is wrong, like everybody's overreacting to these smoke screens in the draft or sleeping on a prospect, you can literally take the other side of the market.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_02]: And it's not just sports either, you can trade on other real-world stuff, interest rates, inflation, even wild weather outcomes.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_02]: It works like this, simple yes or no markets, your risk is capped up front and your payout is locked in.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_02]: So if you trust your takes and instincts, and I know you guys do, go check out Kalshin's see what markets are live right now.

- 21:25[SPEAKER_04]: Great story.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, definitely.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_02]: So let's see.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_02]: We got Jersey Justin hand up next.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_02]: See if he gets up here.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_02]: All right, Justin, what's going on, brother?
- 21:34[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, what's up?
- 21:35[SPEAKER_09]: That's super excited, man.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_02]: They took Spencer Fano.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: Come on, man.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_02]: How far through you.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, it's super excited.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_09]: And then, hey, we got your guy, Casey, because you were part of the table for him.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_02]: That's right, man.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_09]: That's cool, man.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, that was cool.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, and then like you guys said, we went and got Boston.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_09]: Super exciting stuff, you know, we pounded the table for offense, they went and got offense.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_09]: So we can't complain.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_09]: It could be completely different feel, and you know, we could go in the summer feeling kind of good, and I think that's awesome.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_09]: Yes, and my question to you guys was kind of an interesting question and it's kind of like a weird scenario, but let's say When they went to go take McNeil war and somehow some way downs was still on the table.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_09]: Do you think they would still go McNeil war in over downs in that scenario?
- 22:27[SPEAKER_04]: No, we talk in Caleb down's bro
- 22:31[SPEAKER_09]: Caleb downs in.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, not a chance.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_04]: I think that you're I think Caleb downs.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_04]: I will.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_04]: I'm as the draft got closer.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_04]: I think Caleb downs is going to be a guy that we're going to talk about for like 10 15 years is might have been the steal of this draft.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_04]: I think the way he fell.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_04]: even when he was still sitting there, secretly, I was like, at nine, I'm like, hey, hell, let's take him.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_04]: I know, because I, you know, I'm thinking depth, I'm thinking, I got into a kind of a negative vibe, probably about a week before the draft where I was just like, I didn't even really care who we take.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_04]: I just wanted to take guys that are going to be on this team in four to five years.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_04]: And I still haven't changed my whole philosophy on things.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_04]: I will say this.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_04]: I think Caleb Downs is going to be a guy that is going to be like a fundamental piece of Dallas's defense moving forward for probably the next decade.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_04]: How they because it's done.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_09]: Well, yeah.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know how to knock on McNeil Warren.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_04]: I think he's a great player also.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_04]: It's different.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_04]: Almost a different tier for me.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_02]: So Andrew Barry said there were three guys, there's a tier of three or group of three and the headliner was Spencer Fano for them at six or nine and he said Cardinal Tate was also in that group.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_02]: So was Tate Fano, he didn't say who the third person was, my gut feeling, I'm like, I kind of feel like it had to be downs.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_02]: I would think so, but downs.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, maybe Jordan Tyson.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know though.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if they were his in on him as it kind of seemed like it points, but either way, yeah, I think downs would have definitely been the guy.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, could you imagine taking another safety over him?
- 24:22[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, what I thought was interesting though and actually when I did when I watched a lot of film on them I the two best safeties in the draft.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_09]: I actually and I think it was actually very close were Caleb downs and You know Warren okay
- 24:42[SPEAKER_09]: I think it was actually very close, and it's unbelievable that he slid to where he slid.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_09]: And I also think it's very interesting, because in my opinion, if they were both on the board, I actually would take who we took 100% at meal war, and the reason I would is because
- 25:00[SPEAKER_09]: the I think harbors is all this with the giants and that was the big talk is how do they not take Caleb downs and I think and you're talking about a guy that in Baltimore knows what a true elite safety is.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_09]: How did he pass on him?
- 25:15[SPEAKER_09]: I think he looked at his medical records and saw the meniscus and the ACL and he said
- 25:20[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not willing to take my first from pick risk on him and any way shape or form his talent is obscene.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_09]: But in my opinion, actually, if it was Caleb Downs, a big Neil Warren, whatever spot that is, I would actually go with me Neil Warren, I think we got the best safety in the draft.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_02]: Well, hey, now it's time to go out and show it.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so pumped that we got him again, a guy that we mocked, everybody mocked on and off at 24, hardly ever thought I see anybody mock him at 39 and they're like, he ain't going to be there at 39.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: freaking got him at 58.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my gosh, it was insane.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'm still on a high from the draft, but Justin, we'll get you down here.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna get Colton up here, come back up.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_02]: If you have another question here in a little bit,
- 26:04[SPEAKER_02]: Colton what's going on man.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: Give us your question because like I said we're still on that high from the draft, but we also do have to now discuss a couple things that got us down off of that high, but what do you got for us, buddy.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_03]: No, absolutely.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, appreciate you guys letting me on tonight.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_03]: So as as we know, we drafted to outstanding water severs with that first round pick in the background pick being embossed and it's going to be a jam packed water sever room, which is going to lead to a lot of competition.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_03]: Who do you see, let's just say we have six roster spots making the cut after training camp coming around.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_03]: So one to get all guys taken on who you might see the odd man out.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, cold, no problem, brother, because I've been thinking about this.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_04]: I've been thinking about this pretty good, actually.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_04]: I will go ahead and tell you, and this is all on Jerry Judy, not being traded, I would guess, okay.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_04]: So I would probably say Judy.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_04]: I would say KC.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_04]: I would say Denzel.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_04]: I would say Bond.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not sure.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_04]: said you're telling me to be a fringy cut candidate.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, I think, well, okay, I'm with you on that.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_02]: I got you said you told me to peg does a trade.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_02]: I could see him being like a late round picks swap trade.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, now like some guys that I think could be in big trouble, tomorrow he thrash.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I'm pretty much you can pack it.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I think that I know Malachi poorly.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_04]: We picked him up and I know he's kind of a gadget guy.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_04]: We just got a better gadget guy.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_04]: So like in my opinion, he's in big trouble.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_04]: not as much as it was crazy and everything.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_04]: It's gonna fuse a lot of competition and competition is good.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_04]: Competition spurs, spurs, you know, intensity and some winners.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_04]: I wanna see the guys that wanna be on this team.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_04]: And I think you got, it's gonna push them guys.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_04]: Some guys that probably, you know, have been lingering around for a little bit and not getting it done.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_02]: So let me, let me talk about this real fast.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_02]: I posted this on social media today because it cracked me up.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if this was the case or not, but the optics of it are just hilarious.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_02]: So we had our voluntary mini camp right before the draft.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_02]: The first time everybody could get together if they wanted to with the new coaching staff and everything.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we had some veterans not show up like they normally don't and that's fine, you know, miles isn't there, he's never there who cares, you know, Joe Bittoni was never there in the past, guys like that.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_02]: But Jerry Judy was one of the guys who didn't come to that voluntary mini camp.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_02]: And then that's right before the draft draft happens.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_02]: We draft two receivers in our first three picks.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_02]: Monday morning after the draft.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_02]: Guess who's at camp.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_02]: Jerry Judy.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_02]: Craft me up.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_02]: And again, I don't know maybe that was his plan all along was like, I'll miss the first week and I'll show it for the second week.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_02]: And he had nothing to do with the draft, but it's just funny that we draft two two receivers, essentially, first round receivers.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_02]: And Jerry's at camp.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_02]: Getting them reps in.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_04]: No, I don't know if we even properly answered your question there, Colton, but I think that it definitely puts the pressure on some of those, and obviously we're talking about two second-year, third-year guys.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_04]: It puts, it's putting feet to the flame type stuff on your mall.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_04]: Like, even a guy like Jerry Judy, he had a breakout
- 29:50[SPEAKER_04]: a little run, I guess we could call it, you know, if you want a four or five game spread where he really padded up those numbers with Winston, but like, it's been pretty disappointing for the most part.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_04]: You know, like, we're, we're a few years away from Amari Cooper removed where we don't really have anybody reliable receiver.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_04]: And it's tough.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm very, very excited.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_04]: Major need identified times two.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_02]: addressed it.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_02]: We talked about it.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_02]: Andrew Barry free agency all over the offensive line did nothing at wide receiver, by the way.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, one thing at wide receiver kind of was till and wallous.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_02]: As far as a wide receiver spot,
- 30:35[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, he's never done anything at the water sea of a position in the NFL.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_02]: He's been around for like five years now.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_02]: Return man.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: Even that jobs in jeopardy now.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_02]: We got one.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_02]: We got Casey conception.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, if they decide to keep Malachi, Corly, he can return kicks as well.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see how that goes for Wallace.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I think like you said, gauge larvadan.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_02]: Practice squad.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_02]: you know I don't know I mean obviously I say a bonds probably okay because they gave him that fully guaranteed UDFA deal which they don't really do for anybody else so I think they're kind of locked in the him but it's interesting and I was looking it up I mean I was thinking Jerry Judy was not really a trade candidate but post June 1st they could trade him and save almost $4 million so it could happen it could I mean it's one of those things
- 31:27[SPEAKER_04]: where, you know, like, I think the Browns have to kind of identify where they're at, you know, like, if you think that you're in a window and we haven't seen the schedule yet, we kind of want to win the number two.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_02]: Mary case said so.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, super willing to 2.0.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_04]: I saw that today.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I'm drinking the cool lady, but I'm not drinking it like that, you know, I'm not drinking that 151 cool lady.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_02]: 150.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_04]: No, I do like the excitement, you know, but I don't think that we're necessarily in the Super Bowl window again.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_04]: I lie to myself and say we're in a Super Bowl window, but that's just me Brown's Optimus.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's definitely encouraging though.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_02]: You and I were kind of the same.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_02]: We talked about it before the draft on Thursday when we got together in the studio and it was like,
- 32:21[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if this team's even going to be a good this year.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, honestly, just looking at it, looking at the roster, thinking about the way things have gone for us historically, it's like, what?
- 32:30[SPEAKER_02]: What do we have to really get excited about?
- 32:32[SPEAKER_02]: Three days, that's all it took, man.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_02]: The draft, and it's like, we're back, baby, we are back.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's so on, we are ready to rock and roll Cleveland.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_02]: It's gonna rule the world.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we gotta find somewhere in between our, you know, down and high emotions.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_02]: But hey, we won five games last year with the worst offense I've ever watched.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_02]: And honestly, it could have been eight games.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_02]: So a couple of things go our way in some games this year and we don't lose the games that we should win.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_02]: who knows, this could be a eight nine wind team.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_02]: Anything's possible right now with the way they've addressed the needs on the roster in my opinion.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_02]: But sadly, Browns fans got to enjoy that and ride that high from the draft for a couple days, but that was it.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_02]: Mary K. Cabot decided to write an article first on the scene and just shoot everybody straight down out of the sky and she posted an article and a thing on social media the other day is said.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_02]: her, her insider sources with the team to Sean Watson has the inside track to be the starting quarterback for 2026.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_02]: And then she doubled down on that with her article and then her other post saying that in her opinion, this wasn't what she was told.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_02]: This is what she wants to do.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_02]: The Brown's should name to Sean Watson, the QB1 ASAP, so that he can get reps with
- 34:05[SPEAKER_02]: I've never seen a child in the last and cook.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_02]: Wonder what that looks like here in Cleveland, but hey, she wants him to cube you one immediately after two days in shorts.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_02]: Apparently he's got a nudge, Justin, let's talk about this and we got a lot to talk about with this one.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_04]: Sure, brother.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I am.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_04]: It's just kind of hard for me to honestly really, really, like, believe.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_04]: And I know, I know I might take some slack on this, like, I don't know, like, where the hell everybody disappeared to for, like, the last four years.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_04]: I, uh, and maybe maybe I'm just riding high off of the draft.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_04]: I remember those Deshawn Watson seasons with the browse.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_04]: I do.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_04]: And I remember a lot of, well, you know, we're just working through the rest.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_04]: And once the rest was knocked off, his shoulder was knocked off.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_04]: And we lost it.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_04]: And it was after one good half.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_04]: And don't be wrong, it was a half.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_04]: And we were, man, things were great.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_04]: We were, I'd had a game winner, again, Baltimore.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_04]: We were cloud nine for,
- 35:13[SPEAKER_04]: a whole one Sunday night.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_04]: Then we lost a guy for a season and then he came back and I remember all of us watching all 22 film and going, everybody on the field is open and we're just taking we're running into sats.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_04]: And we literally watching him get chased down by defensive tackles and ends and just every week we would just go, I don't know what happened.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_04]: I've never seen such a just
- 35:40[SPEAKER_04]: a guy loose it all like talent wise like it was like he forgot how to play football is like he forgot how to just pay athletic and good even if you're like just winging it back to our football we didn't see any of that.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_04]: And so you know now we're talking about two Achilles tears and another year and a half down the road from football we're talking about he's our quarterback and I don't know I like to me it just for the success of the Browns moving forward.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_04]: And this is maybe where I'm going to take flag, but it just makes zero sense to me.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_04]: We've got nothing out of this contract.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_04]: We've got nothing out of this guy, you know, and everybody's talking about what for cook.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_04]: I haven't seen for cook yet.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_04]: And unfortunately, like,
- 36:31[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe it's, it's just not meant for here, you know, I think that if you roll him out here, you're basically given your fan base, the middle finger, you're giving everybody in the lead the middle finger.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_04]: It was a guy that we defended and, you know, like it just never worked out.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_04]: And I'll be damned if at year five and five on the contract, it finally
- 37:00[SPEAKER_04]: It wouldn't shock me at all if he maybe went somewhere else and he kind of a window of, you know, some good games, but I just so far removed from just good football.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_04]: We're not even talking about just like, okay football.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_04]: We're talking about just oh, we haven't seen that since the Baltimore half.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_04]: season here and there like it's just it's not enough.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_04]: And then I whether you have to want the rookie to succeed if the team is going to work out financially, the idea of the $230 million quarterback, we're going to run him back out there and then what then will we do next year?
- 37:51[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to offer him an extension?
- 37:53[SPEAKER_04]: No, guys, it just makes no sense to me.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_04]: And I
- 37:58[SPEAKER_04]: credit credit where credit is due.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe Watson will look better in the in the voluntary many camps.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_04]: He's done a shit ton of them.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_04]: Should or was thrown to freaking trash cans last year?
- 38:10[SPEAKER_04]: What are we talking about?
- 38:12[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_04]: It's just very frustrating.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_04]: I just every time I think that the team gains momentum,
- 38:19[SPEAKER_04]: We set ourselves back.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_04]: I'm okay with I want to quarterback competition.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_04]: I want there to be, you know, some fight in this team and I want to best best player comes out and we're, we're on track to just light this thing up, but just to go, you know, hey.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_04]: He looked better in voluntary mini camp throwing to Malachi, or we just it doesn't do anything for me.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_04]: It does it show me it in training camp show me it wouldn't really matter show me it in pregame show me in week one, but give me give me something I can actually use this is nothing it's April we're not even in May.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_04]: This is stupid even to be discussing honestly in my opinion.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_02]: you and I were together side by side that week one game twenty twenty four against the cowboys in Cleveland and we we stood there the whole game looked at their like oh my gosh I think he's cooked like he's done I don't think he can play football I mean it was
- 39:18[SPEAKER_02]: It was horrible, it was, and a lot of this, so the other day, I guess it was G.S.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_02]: Today, J.W.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: what's his name, J.W.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_02]: Johnson, sorry, I keep wanting to say like Wilson Johnson.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_02]: He's part of the Haslam owner, Haslam sports group, ownership of the Browns.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_02]: He was in the studio with ESB and Cleveland on the really big show, talking to those guys.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_02]: I guess, you know, and they started posting the stuff over social media and they're like, well, hey, Jay Dubbs said this unprompted.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_02]: By the way, he said to Sean looks great.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_02]: By the way, he's done a great job.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_02]: He looks healthy.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_02]: He's in great head space.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_02]: So this is what I can't stand by.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_02]: He has been Cleveland, either everybody out there.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_02]: So if you follow these Yahoo's on social media, be careful, watch the whole clip.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_02]: you have to watch the whole clip of the stuff they post because they will only post the little bit that gets their clicks.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_02]: Because if you actually listen to the whole thing, his next quote says, Watson's got nothing to lose.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, if he's our starting quarterback and if he plays great, then hey, awesome.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_02]: If he doesn't, and it is what it is, and we're looking ahead to the future.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like,
- 40:25[SPEAKER_02]: That's completely different right there.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_02]: That's saying, yeah, if he's good, if he's not, whatever, we'll just move on.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, you guys paid this guy $230 million and traded three-first round picks for him.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_02]: Shouldn't you be hoping for a little more than, eh, we'll see how it goes.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_02]: I just blows my mind like, that's our ownership group.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_02]: That's the mentality.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_04]: I think that they've already told us.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_04]: They told us two years ago.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_04]: There was a swing in a miss.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_04]: and you're a head guy, the guy that everybody says needs to stay out of things is saying it was a swing and a miss, it's a pretty good indictment of where the situation is at and I know that was a year ago, but that is a year ago, no football has changed, you know, I mean, all like we play in any extra games or
- 41:16[SPEAKER_04]: I know, you know, they're guys have.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_04]: I know shit or Sanders has played some games.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_04]: I know Dylan Gabriel has played some games.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_04]: You know, the rookies, that makes sense to me.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_04]: But the 29-year-old quarterback with two Achilles tears and a shoulder injury and hasn't played football really hardly at all.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_04]: Wow, I don't know.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_02]: I'll correct you there a little bit too.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_02]: He's not 29, he's 30.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_02]: He will be 31 when the season starts this year.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_02]: This will be his age 31 season coming off two Achilles tears and injury that by the way, nobody's really talking about in the scope of how it affects quarterbacks in athletes in general.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_02]: You never come back to your full performance abilities in the first year back from that injury on the field.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_02]: Never.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's never happened.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_02]: Go look at any case study of any athlete, quarterback other position football doesn't matter.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_02]: They all say, there is a reduced, whatever reduced ability for your athletic athleticism and everything, it's reduced.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, if this guy's reduced from what we last saw on the field with him, I thought it couldn't get any worse.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it can.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_02]: I just, it blows my mind too, and a lot of these people in social media, there are
- 42:33[SPEAKER_02]: For no reason, no legitimate reason, the kids done nothing wrong himself.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_02]: He's done nothing.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_02]: He's done everything right.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_02]: They hate him so much that they're propping up to Sean Watson, a guy that they probably were hating on two years ago.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: But now he's their savior because he's just not should or it's that anybody but should or agenda out there and I keep seeing this a lot too.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you know, Deshawn's worst season was better than anything should or did last year.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, that's statistically false.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_02]: That is not true.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_02]: In in 2024, Deshawn Watson played seven games last year.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_02]: Should or Sanders played seven games.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_02]: So it's an even sample size.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_02]: To Sean Watson, by the way, was a seventh year veteran, a three-time pro baller who's getting paid $230 million, we went one in six with him as our quarterback.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_02]: Should or Sanders last year's a fifth round rookie, we went three and four.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_02]: Should or had more passing yards, more yards per game, more touchdowns.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_02]: He took fewer sacks, fewer sacks per game.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_02]: He had more rush yards per game, and he had more yards per scramble.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_02]: in each game.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_02]: The only thing, the Sean had better than Shador in that 7 game sample.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_02]: He had fewer interceptions.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_02]: Shador outplayed him in every other metric.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_02]: Now, it's not by a lot, but for a fifth round rookie to outplay the $230 million $3, you know, three-time pro-bollard does meet 72 stars you listen to Mary Kay.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, the fact that there's even a quarter-back
- 44:05[SPEAKER_02]: what's that.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_04]: That was a better roster to you.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, thank you.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_04]: It was a better roster like Harry Cooper Jerry duty at group.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_04]: Nice offensive.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_04]: Why healthy David.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, so I keep telling people like the fact that there's even a quarterback competition.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_02]: It like you have a guy that you paid $230 million, traded three first round picks to get him on your team.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_02]: Had to have him.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_02]: You mean to tell me he's just not your QB one by default?
- 44:31[SPEAKER_02]: That tells me how bad he is,
- 44:34[SPEAKER_02]: or my crazy.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_04]: My thing too is I think there's a lot of unnecessary should or hey right now and I don't I don't I don't know.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_04]: I think that there's just a lot of different, you know, we as Browns fans, we want the team to win, but there's also, you know, you have to do our fans, you've got.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_04]: to Sean Watson fans now.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what came from, but I think it's just very unfair for a guy that just really didn't have a great situation at all last year.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_04]: Like I don't know.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not even going to even begin to try to understand what the Cleveland Browns organization we were trying to do last year leading up through all that training camp and all the process.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_04]: not like he wasn't there guy.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_04]: That's fine.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_04]: But he ended up starting games with no experience at all leading up to it.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_04]: With absolutely diabolical bad lineup around him.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_04]: And you'll hear things.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_04]: You'll say, hey, he was bad.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_04]: I will agree.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_04]: There are things that he does not do well.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_04]: But those
- 45:45[SPEAKER_04]: Those are fixable things.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_04]: That's that's hero ball.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_04]: That's a guy trying to will his team.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_04]: That team has no will or even be in the game winning games.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_04]: And obviously like the defense, the defense was some part of those games too.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_04]: But you know, like it's it's just very frustrating.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_04]: Like when you when you see a guy that obviously like he cares, he wants to win.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_04]: He wants to be an
- 46:14[SPEAKER_04]: I keep member of this team and like, we just, for some reason, the fan base and media just wants to tear down people.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_04]: I just, I don't understand it.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_04]: I never will understand it.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_04]: But I mean, it's part for the course of this team.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to watch them do it for 30 something years now since we came back in 1999.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_04]: Just, this is the motto.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_04]: Rotate coach.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_04]: Rotate to
- 46:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's, you know, people say like, oh, you know, Mason Graham had no K rookie year, but, you know, that was his rookie year.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_02]: He'll get better in year two.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_02]: He'll take the next step.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_02]: Why, you don't think should or Sanders can possibly get better from year one to year two?
- 46:54[SPEAKER_02]: Like you said, he's a rookie last year with very minimal preparation throughout the process leading up to whenever he got thrust into the starting spot.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_02]: The team was decimated around him by the time he got out there and he was still out there winning games.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_02]: Now, was it
- 47:10[SPEAKER_02]: No, but it was better than what we've seen before and that's why it's like just let's see what he can do in year two obviously he's going to get better how much better I don't know we need to see but it's just crazy to think that how he played as a rookie is just how he's always going to play like when did we start getting into that mindset?

- 49:48[SPEAKER_04]: literally, man, I felt like there was something going on like two, three months ago.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_04]: Start cooking on it.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_04]: Again, just notice a major unnecessary wave of negative activity coming from the fan base.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_04]: And I was just like very strange, but whatever, I also think it's very crazy that we're talking about, and I saw it today, even on the SBN Cleveland, we're talking about trading.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_04]: What's the trade value?
- 50:12[SPEAKER_04]: What's the trade value for Shidorah Sanders?
- 50:14[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm going, you mean, we're going to we're going to trade the fifth round rookie who was the, the gentlemanly, the only glimpse of like,
- 50:31[SPEAKER_04]: quarter back from on our last year of a $230 million contract.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_04]: It's just so mind-blowing to me that like we're we have a major successful weekend and we're winning and we just for some reason want to just somehow self sabotage ourselves.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_04]: And you're very don't listen to any of this.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_04]: Any of this is media stuff.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_04]: Just lock yourself in a room, keep doing what you're doing with the team.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_04]: You're doing great.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I know that there's people, and the thing, this is what I talk about, we should or, too, like.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_02]: He's done nothing wrong.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_02]: All the kid has done since we drafted him, came immediately to Cleveland, started working out, couldn't work out the facility.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: So he's working out at every local high school, every local college, going to these different campuses, working with the kids, getting into the high schools, he's given back to the community.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, that's awesome.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_02]: Like, we've always wanted a guy to come in here and do that immediately.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_02]: He's bought into the community.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_02]: Cool.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_02]: He works his ass off all the time at practice, before practice, after practice, extra reps, just trying to be good.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_02]: And everybody just hates him.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_02]: And I think a lot of it, I hate his dad.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_02]: So why do you hate him?
- 51:43[SPEAKER_02]: Or I hate his brother, which we can talk about Shial Sanders.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I took Mary Kay's cabinet quote like I often do and put a graphic with it and posted on social media just to gauge.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_02]: Like I always do, everybody's input on it and on Instagram, on our post, Shiloh Sanders replied and said, go make a sandwich, Mary, that comment has gone ballistic now, TMZ picked it up.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_02]: on our post, and I'm like, did you have to say it on our post, you know what I mean?
- 52:18[SPEAKER_02]: But so now he's getting blasted and should doors take in the heat for it, too, and it's like he didn't do it.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_02]: It was his brother who, I just don't, I don't get it.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, not a, not a, obviously not a great look for Shiloh.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_04]: No, like, probably shouldn't have not a great look, but also,
- 52:39[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I don't know, man.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_04]: Have you defended like somebody that you configured consider family?
- 52:43[SPEAKER_04]: I said worst stuff in that defending Blake.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, maybe you don't deserve it.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_04]: So like, yeah, so like, I, you know, like I completely, obviously not a good look, man, you know, like, and there'll be, you know, some consequences and stuff like that.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_04]: As far as just public image stuff, you know, like,
- 53:08[SPEAKER_04]: probably could have been done in a better way, but I do think that they're what he's trying to say is that it's a mix of what your opinion is being reported, not factual, you know what I mean?
- 53:26[SPEAKER_04]: Right, it's your opinion, cool, tell us it's your opinion.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and, you know, Andrew Barry was on, he has been Cleveland to the other day and they didn't interview with him and they even asked him like to just Sean Watson having advantage in the quarterback competition and Andrew Barry's response was, I wouldn't say either player has an advantage right now.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's coming from the GM.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know who her sources are.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_02]: I know people like, oh, she's got his, you know, her sources also said that Jim Schwartz was going to be the next head coach didn't happen.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_02]: Her sources said that we were going to take Ty Simpson.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_02]: She wanted Tyson to send it number six.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_02]: She wanted, she wants Dylan Gabriel to be part of the company.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_02]: Like, she just doesn't like Shador Sanders.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_02]: And that's basically what Shilo was saying, because he posted a video then after word kind of explaining, because I think he felt like he had to defend himself a little bit, explaining the whole thing.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_02]: And he said, just everything you post and write about, my brother just seems like you have an agenda, because you're never saying anything positive about it.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's always replaced and replaced and replaced and replaced him.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of hard to argue with him on that point, because that's what she does.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_04]: Man, that's going to be the same argument you should make the same argument going after grossy last year after the game and saying, hey, when are you going to say something nice about me?
- 54:39[SPEAKER_02]: He did.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_02]: I remember that.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_02]: No, I thought that was so cool that he just straight up because Tony was trying to like say hi to him and should doors like dude, you write all kinds of bad shit about me.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_02]: What are you coming up to me for, man?
- 54:49[SPEAKER_04]: Like, let's be cool and you could tell Tony was like, oh, hey, you know, when are you going to start saying some nice things about me?
- 54:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, and I thought,
- 54:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_02]: I liked that.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_02]: I like, and he did it in a respectful way.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_02]: Like you said, it wasn't like he was mean about it.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_02]: He just, it's like, hey, man, maybe maybe say some nice things.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_02]: So before you come try to shake my hand.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_02]: Jersey Justin wants to come on back up.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_02]: So Justin, what's going on, man?
- 55:21[SPEAKER_02]: See if he comes.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_02]: All right, where we go.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, what's up?
- 55:24[SPEAKER_09]: I just want to add on the edge of what you got to say and it's just that you know the marica stuff is just like I've just started to make myself and them to it.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_09]: You know what I mean and it's it even had a stuff on a Smith got on there and said About organ is like as an organization yet, you know, you have to start on one more year, you know, it's like what I okay stuff on it, you know, a Smith who's the big New York next fan, you know what I mean with the playoffs going on right now, but
- 55:48[SPEAKER_09]: you know it it just doesn't make any sense to me and even if even if the Sean looks in my opinion good in the mini camp you know as soon as you put them into real game speed and he takes a couple hits to that shoulder it's just going to be interception scramble no yards sat you know that's what it's going to turn into so
- 56:09[SPEAKER_09]: You know, when I see all that, what I look at is, you know, tangible stuff that was said, and From what I understand there should or in the genre get in 50 50 reps, right?
- 56:21[SPEAKER_04]: That's yeah, but I don't even know that for sure.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_09]: Just sounds like what you're talking about.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah
- 56:28[SPEAKER_04]: They're trying to make it an equal opportunity competition.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_09]: There's what, exactly, yes.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_09]: So if you're going to make it an equal opportunity thing, because Munkin also came out and said, we're absolutely going to give it a shot on a chance.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_09]: Well, you can't go out and say that you're going to give him 50, 50 reps and be like, oh, yeah, we're giving him 50, 50 reps, but it's going to be shit or.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_09]: Like you have to say, like we're gonna give him an honest chance, but you know, from when I've been reading and how the draft went and things feel a little different, I think that should or in my opinion is his guy, I think that they're doing it as a 50 50 thing, but I really feel like
- 57:11[SPEAKER_09]: Shoulder is going to be our guy to start because like in our reality with as well as the draft went, how could you possibly start a guy right that as soon as he steps foot on that field in Cleveland, he's going to get booed.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_09]: Like how are you gonna start your season out like that, you know what I mean?
- 57:30[SPEAKER_09]: Like like the draft.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_09]: Well, what you know is guys.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_09]: He comes our quarterback comes out and all year as boo.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, like 90 and hip boot and our stadium will get booed Not only everywhere he goes
- 57:44[SPEAKER_09]: everywhere.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, that's a good point.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, like you just with everything that went on with them off the field not even injuries like it's yeah, it's just a bad look and I just I can be wrong and you know say in this, but I You know, but I just feel there's a different field man.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_09]: I I really you know hope he he ends up starting you know it there, but
- 58:08[SPEAKER_09]: You know, my question was, I just wanted to add on what you said, is that, and I got to ask this just because I couldn't sort of, I put some of this quote, I'm like a 50, 50 in terms of excitement and also reality, and I draw it, you know, you've kind of said you're kind of the same way with this.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_09]: Very excited with the draft went very well pounded the table.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_09]: So, like a big question that, you know, I wanted to ask you guys, is that since AB went out and got the people that we wanted, right, with that being said.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_09]: If we this season and I don't, I don't like to put any negative energy on us.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying I've been growing where they go ahead.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_09]: I've been a bronze fan of 30 years, so I can honestly say this.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_09]: What happens now if we got the players that we planted the table for, and we go into this season when five or six games, are you still on the fire AB train?
- 59:01[SPEAKER_02]: It depends on if we only win five or six games.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_02]: How did those players perform?
- 59:05[SPEAKER_02]: Because, you know, like last year, we only won five games, but the players he drafted all performed very well and gave us a lot of hope for the future.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_02]: So if we go out there and we're losing all these games because the quarterback plays just a bismal, but you've got,
- 59:19[SPEAKER_02]: big moments from KC and Denzel's, you know, moss and people out there and EMW's lighten people up on defense and phanos, not or phanos.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_02]: I had to fix that phanos, not giving up sacks and, you know, he's just holding down the left side of the line, but we're just not squeaking out these winds.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_02]: And now if those guys all go out there and they suck like just suck, yeah, now I mean, obviously, we can say, well, AB did a bad job.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_02]: So did we in our draft prep because those are the guys we wanted to, but I think we're going to, I think we're going to be happy with the performance of the draft picks.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_02]: And I just hope the entire team together can combine and come together get some wins.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, that's what I'm hoping to.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_09]: And I honestly think that I think we have more than six wins this season, I would say as long as we're around that 500 mark, you know, even if it's a little less or a little more with the players that we got that shows shows enough, but if we have an absolute treacherous season,
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_09]: And you drafted this amount of talent and showed that with your staff.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_09]: You can't coach these guys to where they need to be that I think I'm gonna be And I'm gonna say this also I know that ownership Went and and took the major hit on the Deshawn Watson trade But in my opinion, and this is my opinion.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_09]: I believe that I believe that AB and other people had to say in that too
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_09]: Um, so you got to take that into consideration and and I hit that big tool to, you know, our fan base and everyone that He had the draft this class, right?
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_09]: He had to do this.
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_09]: So this was if he didn't do that, he was done already.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_09]: So now if he has a bad season where it's really that bad Personally would be on the fire AB train, but that's all I wanted to say on that.
- 1:01:09[UNKNOWN]: Oh
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_02]: No, that's, I mean, it's a good question to ask, appreciate you jumping up here.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_02]: We got Brad can come up to kind of close out the show.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_02]: I did want to say real quick before Brad asked his question here.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_02]: Today was the groundbreaking for the new stadium.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_02]: So I just want to throw that out there.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, we'll be talking more about the new stadium.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_02]: The progress and stuff as it goes along.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_02]: But Kenny Mac was up there.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_02]: Got some P. Got a picture with Todd Monk in.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_02]: He got a picture with Jimmy Haslam, Joe Thomas.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_02]: So I got to post all those social media too.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_02]: Kenny was having himself a day.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_04]: Do you know if Kenny stole one of those shovels for me?
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_02]: I hope so, man, those shovels were like guitars for the, like, they smash like, that was sweet, man, I, I don't know.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I, I, I, I, I, I, that was an inside job for Brad there.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_04]: He, that was, yeah, yeah, I get Brad from over here.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_06]: I'll try.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_06]: I'll see if they're left over.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think they ain't got an hour.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, they're more and more in on tech.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_06]: See what's left.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_06]: See what's seen in the dumpster.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_02]: What you got Brad, what's going on, man?
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_06]: So first thing, if any of you are in the Canton area, that's anybody in the dog pack, I'll be at a car show at the all-fame village from like five to 10 p.m.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_07]: So, okay, cool.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_07]: When, what's that tomorrow?
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not saying tomorrow Saturday.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_07]: I keep thinking out of days, yeah.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's Saturday.
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_07]: Cool, that's Saturday night.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_07]: Go.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_07]: I'll be around the area.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_07]: Go hang out with Brad, everybody.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_04]: Close for me, man.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_04]: Let me see if I can walk by then.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_06]: Or stay.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, there you go, brother.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_06]: I want to remind everybody because it seems like some of our fan base has Abnesia about Deshawn Watson.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, you have the floor on my friend.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_06]: You have the floor.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_06]: Um, um, do, do, do, do everybody forget not only do we give up a ton of crap to get him?
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_06]: Not only do we give him guaranteed money, but we also switch of multiple offensive coordinators.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_07]: Does anybody forget that?
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_06]: Fire to bunch.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_06]: We got we literally went and got a coordinator for him to fit his style of play and he's still sucked.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_06]: He got worse.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_06]: And
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he got the first, like, what do you, what do you want?
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_06]: Like, he, and I was like, well, you didn't have the, I'm like, at one point to Sean had a Mari Cooper and Jerry Judy on this team,
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_06]: and he was still throwing dirt balls.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_06]: He was still throwing interceptions.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_06]: He was still running into sacks.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_06]: He was still doing really dumb stuff.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_06]: And people still think, oh, you know what?
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_06]: He's looking really healthy.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_06]: We've seen him healthy and he's still terrible.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_04]: what what I'll say Brad for that is if he let's say he does come out week one and starts and he bulls out man severe indictment against Kevin Safansky I mean like severe indictment yeah boy I'll tell you what if you're an NFL coach you better start checking all those Cleveland Brown quarterbacks down just see hey yeah there there could be some talent here is just maybe bad situation if you're a falcon fan you better be
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, if it was Kevin home on back, then, I mean, it was Kevin holding a lot of people pack, but I've also seen Kevin work miracles on quarterback that shouldn't be starting in NFL.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:04:58[SPEAKER_06]: Like I don't know.
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_02]: Well, like, just to finish your thought, what are you going to say there about?
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_02]: I cut you off.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_04]: Who me?
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:05:10[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no, that was it.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just that was I would say like based on that like let's say he comes out and he looks great.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_04]: And he's just lightning it up all over the field.
- 1:05:22[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, then maybe Monkin is one of the most creative play schemers out there or something because I watched him for two years just look lost in the sauce.
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:05:40[SPEAKER_04]: Like for me, that was one of the more crazier things over like in my life.
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_04]: was watching a guy who I legitimately as an Ohio State fan would fear at Clemson as a quarterback and absolutely legit scary dice you up put the team on his back.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_04]: doesn't matter, we'll just go and get the dub and do it spectacularly and did that all through college?
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_04]: Did that through, you know, the first three, four years of his Houston career other than some injuries and then for it to just completely fall apart.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_04]: I've never in my life seen anything like that.
- 1:06:22[SPEAKER_04]: And I've said that before, I've never seen a guy just go from
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_04]: And I know a lot of things happen and he went through a lot of legal things and a lot of physical things and mental things and like life comes at you fast and beat you up.
- 1:06:40[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, it was I've never in my life seen such a drastic contrast on just where a guy was to where he ended up.
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I just I was tired of the chokehold with Sean Watson.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_06]: It's like
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_06]: was it to against the ravens that game where he came back where he like the first quarter was terrible and came back.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and then he comes back in the second half looks like himself.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know where again.
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_06]: And and then we're like, oh, okay, maybe we're getting the step forward, maybe we're getting them back.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_06]: And then literally was it a day later.
- 1:07:24[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah,
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, like don't throw the season.
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_06]: Yep, yeah, I mean, you know, injuries happen.
- 1:07:39[SPEAKER_06]: I get it, man, but like he's been.
- 1:07:43[SPEAKER_06]: injured every year we've had them or suspended.
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 1:07:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's the thing.
- 1:07:47[SPEAKER_02]: He hasn't played a full season since 2020.
- 1:07:49[SPEAKER_02]: He hasn't played a good season since 2020.
- 1:07:53[SPEAKER_02]: I just understand where this mindset comes from from fans, I think it's magically just going to happen now.
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_02]: Like what would what what evidence do you even have to believe that could be possible?
- 1:08:05[SPEAKER_02]: I don't get it.
- 1:08:06[SPEAKER_02]: And you know what, if he comes out this year and he balls out and I even hate myself for even putting this out there.
- 1:08:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'll eat the L. I will eat that L and say I was dead wrong about this dude.
- 1:08:18[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't suck Will do I actually think that's gonna happen?
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_02]: No, not not a cheese and help, but I guess that's why we play the game Yeah, I mean come on man.
- 1:08:28[SPEAKER_06]: I mean like two a killie tears, bro It's gonna that's gonna matter.
- 1:08:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm telling you guys that's gonna matter more than people want to admit like
- 1:08:39[SPEAKER_06]: and Annie's hurt his throwing shoulder twice, twice.
- 1:08:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, and we saw a drop-off in his mobility and athleticism before the injuries.
- 1:08:49[SPEAKER_06]: So let me tell you, yeah.
- 1:08:51[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, like, you know, man, whatever happens happens.
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I just, I hope there's a fair, like, I do respect like, uh, Munkins, like, yeah, so after the man, for a mini camp, I want to name a starter, which is fair.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_06]: you want to do that because you're going to like okay this is QB1 we're establishing that one so the meeting could shut up about it and I have who's starting you know you're going to start that guy that's your guy unless he gets you know injured whatever but yeah so I let's break that but like at the same time
- 1:09:31[SPEAKER_06]: get Mary Kay in here.
- 1:09:33[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I saw them in shorts.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I'll saw?
- 1:09:36[SPEAKER_06]: I saw a video of him in shorts throw like the worst pass I've ever seen like fumbling through the air and get intercepted.
- 1:09:46[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:09:46[SPEAKER_02]: One of the things I think about this whole like, well, we saw them.
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_02]: I think the media was only allowed to be at one practice.
- 1:09:53[SPEAKER_02]: The other one was closed off to the to the media.
- 1:09:56[SPEAKER_03]: So the rest of them.
- 1:09:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:09:58[SPEAKER_02]: What was open?
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's like you didn't even
- 1:10:00[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't understand what we're basing this stuff off of.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's April.
- 1:10:04[SPEAKER_02]: They were out there and shorts thrown around just chucking the ball a little bit just get loose like It's crazy, but Brad, yeah, it was good talking to you man.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_02]: I hate to kick you, but we're running all your time rather than
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to have your five brother.

- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_02]: We finally get to see this awesome quarterback.
- 1:11:42[SPEAKER_02]: We went out and we finally traded all these picks.
- 1:11:44[SPEAKER_02]: Pay all this money.
- 1:11:46[SPEAKER_04]: And we're like, you remember the play in the only highlight play that game, a friggin' pump return.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, for a touch down.
- 1:11:53[SPEAKER_02]: That DPJ.
- 1:11:54[SPEAKER_04]: I want to say, TPJ, yeah, TPJ touch down.
- 1:11:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, to Sean just thrown wide open
- 1:12:00[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, and that's where it's like Ezerasty, right?
