How we view the family relationship is one of the places that Christianity shines the brightest and yet, also runs most counter to our culture. We live in a “What can I get out of it?” culture. We live in a “How am I going to benefit?” culture. People believe “It’s all for me! It’s all centered in me! It’s all about me!” But for Christians, our lives are lived for others...centered-in and all-about others!
