Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Hi, guys.
- 0:00Speaker 2: Welcome to another episode of Two Teas in a Pod
- 0:03Speaker 2: with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
- 0:05Speaker 3: We drop a lot of episodes per week, talking all
- 0:09Speaker 3: things Bravo.
- 0:10Speaker 2: So we know it's hard to keep up.
- 0:12Speaker 4: Here are the best moments you missed this week.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Today, we have Anita Aspin from Southern Charm, who works
- 0:19Speaker 2: as a fashion influencer, content creator, and professional model.
- 0:22Speaker 5: How are you guys doing?
- 0:24Speaker 3: Good.
- 0:24Speaker 6: How are you?
- 0:25Speaker 3: Hello.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Great. Well, we're so happy that you're here with us today. Now,
- 0:29Speaker 2: we recently had Craig on the podcast.
- 0:31Speaker 5: I saw.
- 0:32Speaker 2: A few weeks ago. And he said your friendship is
- 0:34Speaker 2: in a much better place this season. Do you agree
- 0:37Speaker 2: with him?
- 0:37Speaker 6: It is.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I do agree with that.
- 0:39Speaker 6: You know what? I was actually sick about four weeks ago,
- 0:42Speaker 6: and he got me these stunning, two stunning bouquet of flowers.
- 0:46Speaker 2: So, yeah, we're in a good place.
- 0:47Speaker 4: That's sweet.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Do you see a difference in Craig now that, you know,
- 0:51Speaker 2: he's gone through his breakup, he's moved on, he's in
- 0:53Speaker 2: a better place? Yeah, I do.
- 0:55Speaker 6: Actually, I feel like he's trying to right his wrongs
- 0:59Speaker 6: and make things right with everyone, which is nice to see.
- 1:01Speaker 6: But I think he's doing a great job.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Do you regret anything that you said or did last season?
- 1:05Speaker 5: No, no.
- 1:11Speaker 6: Now, could I have said it in a better way?
- 1:13Speaker 6: You can always say things better. But no, I don't
- 1:15Speaker 6: regret what I said or did last season.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yeah, we needed you last year.
- 1:19Speaker 4: We did.
- 1:20Speaker 6: I don't know. Some people from last year and maybe
- 1:22Speaker 6: they said that I didn't need me, but I think.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I did good last year.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:27Speaker 2: You were in quite a bit of the drama last year.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:30Speaker 6: Kind of my favorite place to be.
- 1:37Speaker 4: We've also gotten to know Sally a little bit. You
- 1:39Speaker 4: had a little bit of.
- 1:40Speaker 3: A falling out with her in season 11. Where does
- 1:43Speaker 3: the friendship stand now?
- 1:44Speaker 2: We're good.
- 1:45Speaker 6: I saw her for Fashion Week. I guess I was
- 1:47Speaker 6: a week ago now. And, you know, I just don't
- 1:49Speaker 6: get to see her as much because we're equally busy.
- 1:52Speaker 5: But I think we're in a good spot.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:54Speaker 6: We'll go through a little bit of a rough patch
- 1:55Speaker 6: this season, but it gets better.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Has Sally gotten any better with her men picking?
- 2:00Speaker 5: I am choosing to stay out of that.
- 2:03Speaker 2: So that would be a no.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Okay. Which one of Sally's men would you pick if
- 2:09Speaker 3: you had to for yourself?
- 2:12Speaker 2: I wouldn't. You mean Kyle's not at the top of
- 2:18Speaker 2: your list?
- 2:19Speaker 6: No, we have different tastes in men. And I think
- 2:21Speaker 6: that's going to keep our friendship moving forward is that
- 2:23Speaker 6: we don't have the same taste in men.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 2:25Speaker 3: What was the guy's name that you dated?
- 2:27Speaker 5: JT. JT.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Is that who? Yeah. I'm sorry.
- 2:31Speaker 4: We're going to have to tease you a little bit
- 2:33Speaker 4: on that one.
- 2:34Speaker 5: That's okay.
- 2:35Speaker 6: That's okay.
- 2:36Speaker 3: We don't ever like to say Mary fuck killed, but
- 2:39Speaker 3: we will say Mary fuck never see again.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Come on.
- 2:43Speaker 5: What we got?
- 2:44Speaker 4: We got Austin, we've got Shep, and we've got Craig.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Oh, okay. Oh, my God.
- 2:58Speaker 6: Mary, Austin, Craig, never see you again, Shep.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Oh, never see again, Shep.
- 3:06Speaker 4: You know, I grew up with Shep.
- 3:07Speaker 6: I love Shep, but like you put me in a
- 3:09Speaker 6: very hard place with those three boys just now.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah, you could have thrown JT in there.
- 3:13Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, like make it a little easier for me.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Yeah. But no, Shep's great.
- 3:18Speaker 6: He was actually one of the nicest people to me
- 3:21Speaker 6: outside of Madison when I started filming. Like was trying
- 3:23Speaker 6: to like show me the robes, tell me little things
- 3:25Speaker 6: on the side.
- 3:25Speaker 5: He's sweet.
- 3:27Speaker 2: So Teddy grew up with Shep?
- 3:29Speaker 6: No way.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Yes.
- 3:30Speaker 6: Yes.
- 3:31Speaker 3: And it's so funny because I always make a joke
- 3:33Speaker 3: to Shep because, like, when you're watching Southern Charm, he's, like,
- 3:37Speaker 3: kind of this heartthrob.
- 3:39Speaker 4: But, like, growing up, it was not like that.
- 3:42Speaker 2: What was he like? What was Shep like growing up?
- 3:44Speaker 3: Like, I mean, the one.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Thing I can say about Shep is his parents are amazing.
- 3:49Speaker 4: They're so sweet. They're amazing.
- 3:51Speaker 7: They're so much fun. Shep was so fun. But he was, like,
- 3:53Speaker 7: such a sensitive guy. Like, he's, yeah, like, such a
- 3:57Speaker 7: sensitive guy. Like, if he liked a girl, he'd ask
- 4:00Speaker 7: you advice. He was, like, so kind and caring.
- 4:03Speaker 4: You know, he still does that.
- 4:05Speaker 6: He does? Mm-hmm. He still does that with the group.
- 4:07Speaker 6: He'll be like, oh, like, I kind of like this girl.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Like, what do you guys think?
- 4:10Speaker 6: Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Like, he's still into that,
- 4:11Speaker 6: especially if he's really into somebody.
- 4:13Speaker 2: He still does that.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I mean, he was funny.
- 4:15Speaker 3: He ended up going to boarding school after, but he
- 4:18Speaker 3: would still come home and they'd have like their annual
- 4:20Speaker 3: Christmas parties.
- 4:21Speaker 4: And I remember you'd be like, fingers crossed that you
- 4:24Speaker 4: were on the list.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 4:26Speaker 2: Did you go, Teddy? Every year.
- 4:28Speaker 6: Yes.
- 4:29Speaker 7: And that's like, well, because he has like an older
- 4:31Speaker 7: sister and then he has his younger brother, Whitaker. And
- 4:34Speaker 7: so like it kind of went through my entire friend group.
- 4:37Speaker 7: We all, we met one of the siblings criterias.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I did not hear.
- 4:56Speaker 4: This yesterday when I saw Mauricio.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Really?
- 4:59Speaker 4: I did not.
- 5:01Speaker 3: But he made the announcement live with Kelly and Mark
- 5:04Speaker 3: that he is running for the mayor of Los Angeles
- 5:07Speaker 3: in 2030.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Wait, is this the same.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Thing that Spencer Pratt tried? Is this the same thing? Oh,
- 5:17Speaker 2: my God. I think you should run for mayor too, Teddy.
- 5:22Speaker 4: I can't even get a clear sentence out. Do you
- 5:24Speaker 4: think I'll win?
- 5:25Speaker 2: No, I'm not sure he'll win either, but... So now
- 5:29Speaker 2: it's reality stars running for mayor.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Maybe there should just be a reality show about reality
- 5:35Speaker 3: stars running for mayor.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Maybe they should just have Wes Wilson run for mayor.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Did you see that Wes Wilson's on another show now?
- 5:42Speaker 2: Yeah, we talked about this, remember? We're like, I doubt
- 5:45Speaker 2: he'll be cast on any other show. Well, he is cast, guys.
- 5:48Speaker 2: He joined the cast of Netflix's Celebrity Million Dollar Secret,
- 5:52Speaker 2: which kind of makes sense since he was in this
- 5:54Speaker 2: secret scandal. Wes joins others such as David Arquette. and
- 5:59Speaker 2: Christine Quinn, who was on Selling Sunset. Yeah, it's an
- 6:04Speaker 2: ultimate game of deception.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Is this a new game?
- 6:08Speaker 2: Yes, it's new.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Because I feel like we already have a game. It's
- 6:13Speaker 4: called Traders.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Yeah, which is really good, guys. You have to watch it.
- 6:17Speaker 4: It's just so good.
- 6:18Speaker 3: But I mean, don't act like I'm not going to
- 6:20Speaker 3: tune in to see what Wes Wilson is up to.
- 6:22Speaker 2: I know, right? Exactly.
- 6:25Speaker 3: I'm like, I cannot believe they would cast Wes.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Hold on, what channel, what time? Well, you want to
- 6:30Speaker 2: see what's going on. I need to know.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Well, I need to know if he's still going to
- 6:34Speaker 3: try to be like lovey-dovey guy, Mr.
- 6:37Speaker 4: Funny Guy, or he's going to come in and try
- 6:40Speaker 4: and be a villain.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Bro's got nothing to lose, man.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Bro's got nothing to lose. He's already at the bottom. He's,
- 6:47Speaker 4: but I mean.
- 6:47Speaker 2: You know he's going to be on the city eventually.
- 6:52Speaker 4: He's going to be on the city.
- 6:53Speaker 2: If they're still together and she's on, he's going to
- 6:56Speaker 2: be on.
- 6:58Speaker 4: He's got to be on the setting.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Maybe the rehab is image for a little bit. Jessel
- 7:03Speaker 2: is not very liked right now on the show.
- 7:07Speaker 5: Well, Jessel's very sharp with her tongue and very.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Now, did you talk with her at Ultimate Girls Trip?
- 7:17Speaker 5: I did.
- 7:18Speaker 2: And?
- 7:19Speaker 3: Oh.
- 7:20Speaker 2: What kind of vibe did you get from her?
- 7:21Speaker 5: The same that you're getting on the show. I said, oh,
- 7:25Speaker 5: I don't know if I love my dress, you know.
- 7:27Speaker 5: I'm always like that. She goes, you look like a
- 7:29Speaker 5: Christmas present.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Oh, you told me about that.
- 7:33Speaker 5: She goes, you look like a Christmas present. And then
- 7:35Speaker 5: I look back at pictures and I think I looked beautiful. Yeah.
- 7:42Speaker 5: My dress was stunning. It was beautiful material. It was
- 7:47Speaker 5: appropriate for the party. And yeah, she just like blurted
- 7:53Speaker 5: that out.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Is she always, I see, I don't remember her being
- 7:57Speaker 2: like this in the first season or the second season.
- 8:00Speaker 5: I feel like she, I feel it's the way she
- 8:02Speaker 5: speaks to her husband as well. Yeah.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Do you think it's like fame?
- 8:05Speaker 5: It's like a very matter of fact.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Do you think fame got to her head or something?
- 8:11Speaker 5: No, I think she's just never been humbled.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe.
- 8:14Speaker 5: I don't know. No one's ever come back at her with, like,
- 8:20Speaker 5: Carol spoke to her very civilly and was like, you know, I,
- 8:26Speaker 5: she explained what it meant to her, why she said that.
- 8:30Speaker 5: And yeah, I think that, I think that she carries
- 8:33Speaker 5: that through her life. I don't think it's personal, to
- 8:36Speaker 5: be honest. It's, I'm not saying it's likable to speak
- 8:40Speaker 5: like that sometimes.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Well, Carol's in the thick of it right now.
- 8:43Speaker 5: I don't think she does it on purpose.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Yeah. So Luann then spends the rest of the night
- 9:03Speaker 2: complaining to anybody who will listen that Portia was two
- 9:07Speaker 2: hours late. And we're like, no one cares.
- 9:11Speaker 4: No one cares. She apologized. She came. She didn't miss anything.
- 9:15Speaker 2: No, I think Giselle made a good point. She said,
- 9:17Speaker 2: if Luann were just to ask, can I be in
- 9:20Speaker 2: the middle? This is my party. This is my town.
- 9:22Speaker 2: This is my town. I don't think anybody would have cared.
- 9:24Speaker 3: No.
- 9:24Speaker 2: It's just the way that her arms were out and
- 9:27Speaker 2: how obnoxious she was.
- 9:30Speaker 4: She stood to, like, block everybody. Like, she was like, nah.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Well, then she also said that she's the tallest one,
- 9:37Speaker 2: so she needs to be in the middle.
- 9:39Speaker 4: I've never heard that.
- 9:40Speaker 6: I know.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I was like, don't the tall ones go, like, in
- 9:42Speaker 2: the back or on the ends?
- 9:44Speaker 4: Yeah, the tall ones go in the back, but she's never.
- 9:46Speaker 4: She's always in the front.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Well, this kind of rubbed me the wrong way when
- 9:50Speaker 2: Luanne says Portia needs to get class.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Yeah, Portia needs to get class.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Um yeah I'm like I don't think that's gonna go
- 9:59Speaker 2: over well do you wish that they had a reunion
- 10:01Speaker 2: I don't.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Think there's room for a reunion.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Yeah I know there's not going to be one but
- 10:08Speaker 2: all the behind the scenes stuff that we don't see
- 10:10Speaker 2: that happened I wish there was like a bloopers yeah
- 10:13Speaker 2: that'd be fun too.
- 10:14Speaker 3: I think bloopers would be fun, but I don't think
- 10:16Speaker 3: they can really do a reunion because you can tell
- 10:18Speaker 3: they're already kind of running out of shit to talk about.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but there's like so much stuff that got cut out.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Like Andy said, there was a lot of fights because
- 10:25Speaker 2: they just didn't want to go there. We still saw
- 10:29Speaker 2: quite a bit of fights, but at the season finale,
- 10:34Speaker 2: I think there's some big fights going on there.
- 10:35Speaker 4: I know, and I wasn't shocked by who was involved.
- 10:41Speaker 2: But I feel like she did a great job this episode.
- 10:44Speaker 5: You know what?
- 10:46Speaker 1: She won me over.
- 10:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:48Speaker 2: And you're only as good as this week's episode.
- 10:51Speaker 5: You're only as good as your last scene. You know,
- 10:54Speaker 5: I like that I don't like somebody right away. I
- 10:58Speaker 5: like that I can change my opinion with information because
- 11:02Speaker 5: that's fair. Yeah.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Yep. Well, so there's shot being Lisa casually drops to
- 11:09Speaker 2: Heather that she gets invited to the Oscars every single year,
- 11:13Speaker 2: but she never goes.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Like, she gets on their nerves. I think it's funny.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Do you think that she gets invited every single year?
- 11:24Speaker 5: Maybe if you're on a list. I don't know that
- 11:25Speaker 5: it's so hard. I know people that are like seat
- 11:28Speaker 5: fillers that they go.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Do you think Lisa's a seat filler and that's how
- 11:32Speaker 2: she gets invited?
- 11:33Speaker 1: I feel like she could be on a PR list
- 11:34Speaker 1: for something like that.
- 11:37Speaker 2: But I just don't see Lisa not going. Why would
- 11:40Speaker 2: she not ever go?
- 11:42Speaker 5: Because she has to sit there for a long time.
- 11:44Speaker 5: Like I did at Dancing with the Stars the other day.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Isn't that what you asked me? Did I have to
- 11:48Speaker 5: sit there a long time? It went fast, actually.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I went once. It's pretty cool, though, to see the
- 11:55Speaker 2: whole dance floor and how small it is.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I thought it was bigger than I thought because we're
- 12:01Speaker 1: used to watch What Happens Live.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It's bigger than that.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Yeah. But like the Oscars, I think that I mean,
- 12:13Speaker 1: does she go to a lot of things?
- 12:15Speaker 2: I don't know, but award shows- Lisa doesn't.
- 12:17Speaker 5: Typically, we don't typically see Lisa on red carpets. It's
- 12:20Speaker 5: not like she can't get on one. Does she just
- 12:22Speaker 5: not like to go to things?
- 12:23Speaker 2: I don't know. She likes to brag about them though.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Go for it, Lisa.
- 12:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 2: If you want more from the Twats, you can catch
- 12:33Speaker 2: up anytime on Two Teas in a Pod.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Talk soon.
