- 0:04Speaker 1: It is March Dadness. Yes, March Madness is going on.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Basketball is basketballing, but here at Big ninety eight point seven,
- 0:13Speaker 1: we're focused on March Dadness.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Okay, well one of us really is.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I am because I love myself a daddy. Here's the thing,
- 0:20Speaker 1: Gabe not officially a dad yet. He's a cat dad.
- 0:24Speaker 1: He's a dog dad. But for these purposes that does
- 0:26Speaker 1: not count, and he will not be welcoming his bundle
- 0:29Speaker 1: of joy until sometime in the summer, which leaves an
- 0:33Speaker 1: empty spot for the Big Daddy of Big ninety eight
- 0:36Speaker 1: point seven. And that is where you come in. We
- 0:39Speaker 1: are doing March Dadness. So if you go to the
- 0:43Speaker 1: Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page, pinned right to
- 0:46Speaker 1: the top is our March Dadness post. All you have
- 0:49Speaker 1: to do is nominate the daddy in your life who
- 0:53Speaker 1: you think deserves some recognition. So drop their picture in
- 0:57Speaker 1: the comments along with their name, and then this Sunday
- 1:00Speaker 1: is Selection Sunday, and we're gonna try to crown the
- 1:04Speaker 1: Big Daddy of Big ninety eight point seven with March Dadness.
- 1:09Speaker 1: So get on our Facebook page nominate the daddies. There's
- 1:13Speaker 1: a lot of competition already, so many daddies have been nominated,
- 1:18Speaker 1: and I love to see it. It's a lot of
- 1:20Speaker 1: wives and girlfriends nominating their their husbands and boyfriends.
- 1:25Speaker 3: That's how that works.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Or if you have like a dad who's just like
- 1:29Speaker 1: a really good dad and he's your dad and you
- 1:31Speaker 1: just think he deserves some recognition, drop his picture in
- 1:34Speaker 1: the comments. I will say for me a contender that
- 1:39Speaker 1: I may vote for. Josh dropped the picture his dad.
- 1:47Speaker 3: I mean, this man is on a.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Floating in the lake with a hat, sunglasses, I believe,
- 1:52Speaker 1: a cigarette in his mouth, and dirty feet's shirtless. This
- 1:58Speaker 1: is an epic phone, the most dad phone a lot
- 2:02Speaker 1: of time. But yeah, drop your daddy's in the comments
- 2:05Speaker 1: and have them be in the running for March Dad.
- 2:09Speaker 4: I got to give a lot of credit obviously to
- 2:11Speaker 4: the kids as well, but specifically to the wives and girlfriends. Yeah,
- 2:15Speaker 4: nominating their their husbands or their boyfriends. If we were
- 2:19Speaker 4: to change this next year and did March, what would
- 2:23Speaker 4: be March mommy? Miss I don't know why you could
- 2:25Speaker 4: do that, but March mom miss right?
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:28Speaker 4: I wonder if we have as many entries, do you
- 2:30Speaker 4: think the fellows would be now?
- 2:34Speaker 3: Even if they feel it in their hearts.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't mean they don't appreciate.
- 2:38Speaker 3: It, yes, no, but I don't think that mess would do.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Posting a picture on Facebook would be a little too
- 2:42Speaker 4: much work for us exactly. Well, big shout out to
- 2:45Speaker 4: obviously the kids, but specifically the moms and wives today.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I think that's just wonderful.
- 2:50Speaker 5: It's March deadness, baby, and the competition is wide open.
- 2:54Speaker 4: When I was potentially going to be in it, all right,
- 2:57Speaker 4: I think there was a clear front runner.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Just ask me.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it was my.
- 3:05Speaker 6: Celebrating life's little victories. Victory every morning we practice gratitude
- 3:10Speaker 6: on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:12Speaker 4: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 3:14Speaker 4: basket job, bust it out whenever someone's acting hard.
- 3:18Speaker 6: I just really needed to win, you know, sure your
- 3:20Speaker 6: little victories with us at seven oh one two and
- 3:22Speaker 6: oh one eight seven.
- 3:26Speaker 4: First and foremost, we got to give a big shout
- 3:28Speaker 4: out to Savannah. Savannah was able to take an everything
- 3:32Speaker 4: shower yesterday, So way to go to Savannah.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I'm so jealous.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I have to take one later today in preparation for
- 3:39Speaker 1: it's a girl thing and it.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Sounds dear now I know what an everything shower is,
- 3:45Speaker 4: being that I'm surrounded by ladies all day every day.
- 3:49Speaker 4: If you don't know what an everything shower is, Angie,
- 3:52Speaker 4: will you let us know.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Yeah, that's when you wash your body.
- 3:55Speaker 1: You wash and condition your hair, You shave your legs,
- 3:59Speaker 1: you shave your under arms, you whatever else, well, whatever else,
- 4:03Speaker 1: you exfoliate.
- 4:04Speaker 3: You do all the things.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Mustache you never know you do.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Hey, why are you looking at me like that?
- 4:10Speaker 1: Because you know my mustache needs to be taken off
- 4:13Speaker 1: during my everything shower.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Correct?
- 4:16Speaker 3: Anyway, No, you're just.
- 4:18Speaker 2: The only one in here.
- 4:20Speaker 1: But yeah, you take care of everything, and it is
- 4:24Speaker 1: quite a feat.
- 4:26Speaker 3: I took a shower.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I took a shower this morning, but my hair stayed
- 4:30Speaker 1: up in the same bun I had it in yesterday.
- 4:34Speaker 4: These everything showers take like time, yes, an hour and
- 4:38Speaker 4: a half just to get it all done.
- 4:39Speaker 3: So so tough being a lady.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Congratulations for your achievement, Yeah, Savannah, Angie, do you have
- 4:46Speaker 4: a little victory today?
- 4:47Speaker 3: Well, it's not an everything shower.
- 4:48Speaker 1: No, my little victory is that I drove the big
- 4:52Speaker 1: truck yesterday to Happy Hour unhinged.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Here's the thing.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I had a breast reduction in January, and my road.
- 5:01Speaker 3: To recovery was a little bit slower than I would.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Like it to be because of the scope of the surgery,
- 5:09Speaker 1: because I had a lot that needed to be reduced,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and so in this healing process, it has felt uncomfortable
- 5:16Speaker 1: for me to drive, specifically bigger vehicles. Sure, and now
- 5:21Speaker 1: I'm feeling real good and nice and wonderful. So I
- 5:25Speaker 1: drove that big behemoth of a truck yeah, to our
- 5:28Speaker 1: happy hour, and I felt good.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I like being a little girl in a big truck.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you're like the tin man, you know, just needed
- 5:35Speaker 2: to oil you up a little bit.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Yes, man, I like that. What about you gave what's.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Your little victory? My little victory?
- 5:43Speaker 4: Last night, after happy hour at Unhinged, I went back
- 5:46Speaker 4: home with my wife and she had ordered these two
- 5:50Speaker 4: new night stands.
- 5:51Speaker 2: And we needed them really bad.
- 5:52Speaker 4: We have nightstands, but they're just kind of small and
- 5:56Speaker 4: if a cat jumps on them, basically say goodbye to
- 5:58Speaker 4: everything that was on the night. Oh okay now, and
- 6:01Speaker 4: by that I mean my wife's mountainous amount of water bottles.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Well yeah, and by mountainous, I usually mean.
- 6:08Speaker 4: It's just one but it's always an ever a ever
- 6:11Speaker 4: changing water bottle on that night stand. But anyway, we
- 6:14Speaker 4: got two new ones, and I was able to put
- 6:17Speaker 4: one together last night, just in time before going to sleep.
- 6:20Speaker 4: And it's not hard, but there's just a billion little
- 6:22Speaker 4: little pieces and screws and it's kind of a nightmare.
- 6:25Speaker 4: But I was able to get it done and still
- 6:28Speaker 4: go to bed at a good time.
- 6:29Speaker 3: I am really impressed with you.
- 6:30Speaker 1: After Happy Hour, I literally there's nothing I do.
- 6:34Speaker 3: I get home and then I jump into bed and
- 6:36Speaker 3: that's it. You went home and did a home project.
- 6:39Speaker 4: I did, and you know what, I'm glad I did
- 6:41Speaker 4: it because I didn't have to watch the Wild lose
- 6:43Speaker 4: to the Chicago Blackhawks, who are dog water. I'm pretty
- 6:49Speaker 4: sure the black Hawks are trying to lose at this point,
- 6:51Speaker 4: and we lost two to one, so I didn't even
- 6:54Speaker 4: watch the game.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Thank god.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I saw that and I thought of you, and I thought,
- 6:58Speaker 1: I'm not going to bring this up.
- 6:59Speaker 4: No, I'm glad I put together that night stand instead
- 7:03Speaker 4: of supporting my boys.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Angie. It is that time of the year.
- 7:12Speaker 4: It's spring break time. Kiddos are on spring break, college
- 7:15Speaker 4: kids on spring break. I know Ndsu is back. Yeah,
- 7:18Speaker 4: you know, kids around the country on spring break. A
- 7:20Speaker 4: lot of people trying to do a little flying. Yeah,
- 7:23Speaker 4: my airplanes.
- 7:24Speaker 1: My kids are actually flying back on Saturday from their
- 7:29Speaker 1: spring break, so I gotta go pick them up at
- 7:32Speaker 1: the airport.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Well, just for some fun today, I have found a
- 7:36Speaker 4: list of these kind of crazy things, and I want
- 7:40Speaker 4: you to let me know if they can plane or not.
- 7:44Speaker 4: And by can they plane, I really just mean can
- 7:45Speaker 4: you bring them on an airplane?
- 7:47Speaker 2: Okay?
- 7:48Speaker 3: I like that?
- 7:49Speaker 2: Can they play?
- 7:50Speaker 3: All right?
- 7:51Speaker 2: Angie? Can a come quat plane?
- 7:54Speaker 3: Isn't that a fruit? Yeah? Yeah? Can it?
- 7:58Speaker 2: It can play?
- 7:59Speaker 3: Okay?
- 8:00Speaker 2: Okay? What about a botchie ball?
- 8:03Speaker 1: A bochie ball? I don't even know what that looks like,
- 8:05Speaker 1: but yeah, it's just a ball.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Yeah, that would be No, a bochie ball cannot be
- 8:10Speaker 4: brought up. Why I didn't get that far in the research.
- 8:14Speaker 6: No.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Is it considered a weapon? Maybe?
- 8:17Speaker 4: Yeah? Probably it's dangerous few and hurt somebody.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Well, I don't have a bochie ball that I'm trying
- 8:25Speaker 1: to bring anywhere.
- 8:26Speaker 3: But I don't like that I.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Can't all right. What about a live lobster? Can you
- 8:29Speaker 4: bring a live lobster on a plane?
- 8:31Speaker 1: A live Uh. Is it an emotional support lobster?
- 8:37Speaker 2: No, you can't.
- 8:38Speaker 4: Supposedly, yes you can a live lobster will plane? What no,
- 8:43Speaker 4: bochie ball, But you can have mister Krabs on the
- 8:46Speaker 4: plane with you.
- 8:47Speaker 2: That's a SpongeBob joke.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Yet, No, I got it.
- 8:51Speaker 4: What about an ant farm with the ants? Can those plane?
- 8:56Speaker 3: No?
- 8:58Speaker 2: Supposedly yes, and an ant farm ken plane?
- 9:01Speaker 3: But what if it breaks and then there's ants everywhere?
- 9:04Speaker 2: That's the person next to his problem. I guess.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Okay, Now, I will say, do your research if you
- 9:10Speaker 4: would like to bring a live lobster or an ant
- 9:13Speaker 4: farmer plane.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I'm kind of just going based off of what I
- 9:16Speaker 2: have found.
- 9:17Speaker 4: I am not a ts dependent research my independent research.
- 9:20Speaker 4: I'm not a TSA agent or a flight person. Ask
- 9:23Speaker 4: them you know what.
- 9:24Speaker 1: If you are a TSA agent seven on one to
- 9:26Speaker 1: two e one nine eighty seven collar text us, let
- 9:29Speaker 1: us know if Gabe is corrected me.
- 9:31Speaker 2: That's right. Okay.
- 9:32Speaker 4: My last one for you, Angie, what about a toy lightsaber?
- 9:35Speaker 2: Can you bring that on a plane?
- 9:37Speaker 5: You have to be able to bring it on the plane.
- 9:39Speaker 5: It's a toy that would one hundred percent be correct.
- 9:43Speaker 5: Toy lightsaber will play if or will plane. If you
- 9:46Speaker 5: are planning on doing any traveling this March for spring break,
- 9:49Speaker 5: or the kiddos are, or maybe you're just getting back
- 9:51Speaker 5: from spring break. We hope you have an awesome start
- 9:53Speaker 5: to spring as today what time was it nine? That
- 9:57Speaker 5: is when spring officially starts? Yeah, okay, well we hope
- 10:01Speaker 5: you have an awesome start to spring. Here with Big
- 10:03Speaker 5: ninety eight point seven. I just got an updated text
- 10:12Speaker 5: from my wife yesterday, who is twenty four weeks pregnant.
- 10:15Speaker 5: Baby g is about the size of and wait, I
- 10:19Speaker 5: guess of a like a thing a lettuce.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Oh, that's cute, just growing away.
- 10:24Speaker 4: And we always joke about all the funny things kids
- 10:28Speaker 4: do and say, Like Corey and I joke about that sometimes,
- 10:30Speaker 4: like I wonder if they're gonna be kind of team
- 10:33Speaker 4: mom or team dad when we're poking at each other
- 10:35Speaker 4: what have you? And you know there's the show kids
- 10:37Speaker 4: say the darness things and all that stuff. Well, I
- 10:40Speaker 4: wanted to flip that a little bit this morning. What
- 10:42Speaker 4: is the most wise thing your kid has ever said?
- 10:45Speaker 2: Maybe?
- 10:46Speaker 4: Surprisingly, because my mom and dad tell stories of me
- 10:49Speaker 4: as a child, and it's always something I said that
- 10:52Speaker 4: was so ridiculous or stupid or good. Yeah, not one
- 10:55Speaker 4: time were they like, oh, game, that was pretty smart,
- 11:00Speaker 4: because a scholar I am not, Angie, No, of course not.
- 11:05Speaker 4: I want to know, has your kid ever said something wise?
- 11:07Speaker 4: Let me know seven oh one two eight zero one
- 11:10Speaker 4: nine eight.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Seven with my kids.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Okay, So Aiden is the level headed one. He's the firstborn,
- 11:15Speaker 1: he's fifteen. He's always been a level headed kid and
- 11:19Speaker 1: wise beyond his years. I always thought, and so I'm
- 11:23Speaker 1: trying to think of like things that he has said
- 11:26Speaker 1: that are wise. But then leam the younger one. I
- 11:31Speaker 1: just keep getting like intrusive memories of the things he
- 11:36Speaker 1: has said because they're so outlanded, unhinged and unhinged.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:40Speaker 1: He literally told his grandmother, can you shut your mouth
- 11:44Speaker 1: for once in your life?
- 11:45Speaker 2: Which is not right?
- 11:46Speaker 3: Which is not right?
- 11:47Speaker 2: Hilarious.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I mean you know what, Actually I think that was
- 11:51Speaker 1: wise because she was running her mouth and she did
- 11:54Speaker 1: need to stop talking. But no, I think one time Aiden,
- 11:59Speaker 1: I was offering him cake for breakfast because I want
- 12:02Speaker 1: the cake for breakfast, and he said, that's too many sweets.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Oh, And I thought, you're not my kid, don't you don't.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Just hate a smart kid.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, we did have Barb who their kids said,
- 12:15Speaker 4: or her kids said, just because we ask for something
- 12:18Speaker 4: doesn't mean you have to say yes every time.
- 12:21Speaker 2: That's a kid right out of that Christmas present, you know.
- 12:25Speaker 6: What I mean?
- 12:25Speaker 2: Funny That is good though.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Isaiah, he said his kid told him once, it's all
- 12:30Speaker 4: a scam. And you know what it is so true.
- 12:33Speaker 4: It's all a scam. Everything's a scam. Everything everywhere you
- 12:36Speaker 4: go a scam.
- 12:37Speaker 1: No context needed, it's all a scam, yopper right.
- 12:40Speaker 4: And then finally from Josh here, this one's pretty cute.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Josh said his kid told him, Mommy daddy is so
- 12:48Speaker 4: much smarter than you.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Wow.
- 12:51Speaker 4: Do you know what that comment right there had daddy's
- 12:54Speaker 4: sleeping on the couch that.
- 12:58Speaker 2: This is am I the problem.
- 13:01Speaker 3: It's me, Hi the problem, it's me.
- 13:06Speaker 6: We'll hear one side of the story and with your
- 13:08Speaker 6: help decide if it's right or if maybe.
- 13:13Speaker 2: You're the problem. That's right, I am the problem. On
- 13:17Speaker 2: Big ninety eight point seven.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Our email today is from Jenna. Hi, Gab and Angie.
- 13:24Speaker 1: This is Jenna and there's something that's been driving me
- 13:26Speaker 1: crazy at work. But I don't want to say anything
- 13:29Speaker 1: until I get an outside opinion. Not sure my coworkers
- 13:33Speaker 1: are the ones to ask. Six months ago, we got
- 13:35Speaker 1: a new employee and he loves to pull office pranks. Literally,
- 13:40Speaker 1: the entire office loves them, except for me. They're annoying
- 13:43Speaker 1: and distracting. I want to tell him to tone it down,
- 13:47Speaker 1: but I don't want the office.
- 13:49Speaker 2: To hate me.
- 13:50Speaker 1: It would be easier to say if his pranks were
- 13:52Speaker 1: directly against me, but it's a whole office thing. Like
- 13:56Speaker 1: I said, my coworkers love it. So what should I do?
- 13:58Speaker 1: Should I tell him or one of my bosses how
- 14:01Speaker 1: much I can't stand the pranks, or just wait to
- 14:04Speaker 1: see if they eventually stop.
- 14:08Speaker 4: So I'm I'm a tiny bit confused. These pranks aren't
- 14:11Speaker 4: really towards her directly.
- 14:13Speaker 1: They're not just like whatever the office prank is, it
- 14:16Speaker 1: affects everyone.
- 14:17Speaker 3: I guess you know what I mean.
- 14:18Speaker 4: Like, okay, I'd have to see one of these, I
- 14:20Speaker 4: think to really make a full on opinion and to
- 14:23Speaker 4: use against Angie.
- 14:24Speaker 3: It's oh my gosh.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Do you think that she is being like a party
- 14:30Speaker 1: pooper or do you think she has a point?
- 14:32Speaker 3: Like would you say something if you were her? I
- 14:36Speaker 3: don't know.
- 14:36Speaker 4: It's kind of hard without knowing exactly what these pranks are.
- 14:39Speaker 4: If it's something generally distracting, like let's say you're walking
- 14:42Speaker 4: into every office and you got a boombox that's super
- 14:45Speaker 4: super loud, and it's just annoying, Like it might be
- 14:48Speaker 4: kind of funny one time, mm hmm, as I write
- 14:51Speaker 4: that one down in the head, But oh my gosh, like,
- 14:54Speaker 4: I don't know, are you kind of being a fun sucker?
- 14:57Speaker 4: I mean truly, yeah, this If this doesn't affect you directly,
- 15:01Speaker 4: you're just annoyed by it. While life's tough, get a helmet, Okay,
- 15:04Speaker 4: there are things annoying in life that you're just gonna
- 15:07Speaker 4: have to deal with. But if these things affect her directly,
- 15:10Speaker 4: I think she would have a point.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Does that make sense?
- 15:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess say something to the guy if you want.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Jenna.
- 15:19Speaker 1: I'm conflicted because if everyone in the office likes it,
- 15:24Speaker 1: it clearly is like a morale booster, right, And you
- 15:27Speaker 1: can't please everyone. There's always gonna be one person who
- 15:32Speaker 1: is a bit of a party pooper.
- 15:35Speaker 3: And it sounds like Jenna is the one.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Couldn't she just shut her door?
- 15:38Speaker 4: Couldn't she just make it like known that Hey, whatever
- 15:42Speaker 4: goofy thing you're doing in the office, I don't want
- 15:44Speaker 4: a part of it. Yeah, can't she just make it
- 15:45Speaker 4: known without really even having to be the bad guy?
- 15:49Speaker 1: I feel like there is a way to approach it
- 15:51Speaker 1: without seven oh one to two, eight oh one to
- 15:53Speaker 1: nine eight seven.
- 15:54Speaker 3: What do you think.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I feel like there's a way to approach it without
- 15:56Speaker 1: sounding like you're a party pooper. Oh, you know what,
- 16:02Speaker 1: she should start pulling pranks herself.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Just pull them right back, Jenna. I've got a whole
- 16:06Speaker 4: laundry list of them for you. Text me or message
- 16:09Speaker 4: me at seven oh one two eight zero one, nine
- 16:11Speaker 4: eight seven.
- 16:11Speaker 2: I'll help you out.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Yeah, because it's you know why I feel for Jenna? Actually,
- 16:18Speaker 1: because almost every day and you would.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Think that I wrote this myself honestly.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Every single day just about unless I'm not here or
- 16:29Speaker 1: you're not.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Here, you you don't do prank.
- 16:32Speaker 2: You do prank me directly.
- 16:34Speaker 3: But it's never anything that's over.
- 16:36Speaker 1: The top that I hate it. I just know I
- 16:38Speaker 1: never know what it is you're gonna do. I just
- 16:41Speaker 1: can't expect that it's gonna be kind of annoying. Yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 1: And I would never go to HR anything about that. However,
- 16:50Speaker 1: if HR is listening, I need you to know that
- 16:53Speaker 1: Gabe be doing the most that's right.
- 16:56Speaker 2: I don't even know what HR would do.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Actually, I mean, realistically, it's just goofy pranks I do
- 17:00Speaker 4: to you on my phone.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I've.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Angie has swapped and joined team Jenn.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Yeah, actually I am team Jenna.
- 17:10Speaker 4: What do you think? Seven oh one two eight zero
- 17:12Speaker 4: one to nine eight seven? My final stance. I believe
- 17:14Speaker 4: there's a way to make it well known. Hey, I
- 17:17Speaker 4: don't really want to deal with this at work, like
- 17:19Speaker 4: lead me out of it without sounding like a party pooper.
- 17:22Speaker 4: I think that would be pretty easy to do. But hey,
- 17:23Speaker 4: maybe I'm wrong. Seven oh one two eight zero one
- 17:26Speaker 4: nine eight seven? What do you think?
- 17:30Speaker 2: I'm on the problem it?
- 17:35Speaker 1: Jenna wants to know if she is a party pooper
- 17:39Speaker 1: or if she has a point. So there's somebody at
- 17:42Speaker 1: work who just started like six months ago, and their
- 17:45Speaker 1: whole shtick is to do office pranks and the entire
- 17:49Speaker 1: office loves it except her. So she wants to know
- 17:53Speaker 1: if she should say something about it so that these
- 17:56Speaker 1: pranks can.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Stop, or if she should just let it go like Elsa.
- 18:01Speaker 4: And frozen well a Luri comes out swinging right out
- 18:05Speaker 4: the gates here who texted us at seven oh one
- 18:07Speaker 4: two eight zero one nine eight seven chime in this morning?
- 18:11Speaker 4: This is also up on Facebook. But Luri comes out swinging.
- 18:14Speaker 4: She says, absolutely, do not tell the prankster. She needs
- 18:18Speaker 4: to suck it up, Buttercup and.
- 18:22Speaker 2: In a way if they aren't. If you just.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Find something annoying, right, yeah, if it doesn't affect you
- 18:29Speaker 4: your workday, how you get things done? Once it starts
- 18:32Speaker 4: affecting you personally, then I think you have every right
- 18:35Speaker 4: to kind of complain about something.
- 18:37Speaker 3: But you do.
- 18:37Speaker 4: You can't go when do you go snitch because you're
- 18:40Speaker 4: annoyed by something that's insane? Angie would literally tell on
- 18:44Speaker 4: me every single day here at work, every day Monday
- 18:47Speaker 4: through Friday. At some point I would even think, like
- 18:51Speaker 4: the boss would be.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Like, Angie, let it go.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I mean, we're clearly getting things done
- 18:57Speaker 1: on the Big ninety eight points.
- 18:58Speaker 3: On the morning show. I would never snitch on you,
- 19:00Speaker 3: but you do be annoying me.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Sometimes I snitch on myself. I post the video.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Exactly exactly, so.
- 19:07Speaker 4: If things aren't getting done, I think you have a
- 19:10Speaker 4: right to do say whatever however you feel right.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Julia commented on Facebook. I guess I would need examples
- 19:16Speaker 1: of the pranks, but if they are harmless and not
- 19:18Speaker 1: targeting anyone specifically, you may just have to let it go.
- 19:22Speaker 3: However, this does.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Seem a bit inappropriate to continue doing all the time.
- 19:27Speaker 1: And if at a bigger company, you can do an
- 19:29Speaker 1: anonymous If it's a bigger company, you can do an
- 19:32Speaker 1: anonymous complaint to your HR or manager. But if it's smaller,
- 19:35Speaker 1: it might be obvious that you're the one who complains.
- 19:38Speaker 4: And now, as someone who likes to mess around with
- 19:40Speaker 4: their coworkers and Angie and specifically part of the fun
- 19:43Speaker 4: of it is Angie is a good sport. If Angie
- 19:46Speaker 4: actually hated all the little stupid videos I do that
- 19:49Speaker 4: annoy her, yeah, then I wouldn't do them.
- 19:51Speaker 2: It would take out the fun.
- 19:52Speaker 1: You're saying, I could get you to stop.
- 19:55Speaker 3: This whole time. Dang it.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Well, I'm just saying, make it known you don't like
- 20:01Speaker 4: it and don't participate, And there's yeah that answer.
- 20:03Speaker 2: You just won't be involved in said prank.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the best course of action is to
- 20:09Speaker 1: be passive, aggressive.
- 20:11Speaker 4: Very midwestern North Dakota, Minnesotan. Right there before we get
- 20:17Speaker 4: to the tea, I have a little of my own
- 20:18Speaker 4: personal tea to spill with you. Not a couple of
- 20:21Speaker 4: days ago, I was joking around with my buddies, some
- 20:23Speaker 4: of my best friends on Earth, my boy Jake, my
- 20:26Speaker 4: buddy Ruby, my buddy Nate. I was joking around about
- 20:29Speaker 4: something I said on the show, and none of them
- 20:31Speaker 4: acknowledged it at all, Like they didn't listen.
- 20:34Speaker 2: And you know what, I threw a fit. Of course
- 20:36Speaker 2: you did.
- 20:37Speaker 4: I told my buddies that you don't even support your boy.
- 20:40Speaker 4: You know what, they are listening this morning. So a
- 20:43Speaker 4: big shout out to my three buddies, Jake, Ruby, and Nate.
- 20:46Speaker 2: This morning I get shut up, thanks for.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Hanging out with me to hey, guys, I appreciate it.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Kind of like this story about this young toddler. This
- 20:56Speaker 4: young man, he is going places both literally and figuratively.
- 21:01Speaker 4: This mom has gone viral on social media because her toddler,
- 21:04Speaker 4: for whatever reason, this young man, he loves himself.
- 21:07Speaker 3: The home depot, Oh smart kid, that is.
- 21:11Speaker 2: What I'm saying.
- 21:11Speaker 4: You know, you know like Minards or Fleet Farm home depot,
- 21:14Speaker 4: those you know, if you can't find it there, you
- 21:16Speaker 4: don't need it.
- 21:18Speaker 2: And this toddler knows that.
- 21:20Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, he's already getting his hands dirty with some tools.
- 21:23Speaker 4: He's probably getting ready to build some backyard patio furniture
- 21:26Speaker 4: for his future wife or hubby or whatever.
- 21:28Speaker 2: This guy's already prepping.
- 21:30Speaker 4: I like this, Do you have a store that you
- 21:33Speaker 4: remember as a kid you loved going to or you
- 21:35Speaker 4: have kids, is there some random store that they love
- 21:39Speaker 4: let us know at seven oh one two eight zero
- 21:41Speaker 4: one nine eight seven. Now, my answer is kind of
- 21:43Speaker 4: funny and in a strange way attracts. When I was
- 21:45Speaker 4: a kid, I loved going to the liquor store, loved it.
- 21:49Speaker 3: What what? What are kids allowed at the liquor store?
- 21:53Speaker 4: Growing up in Crystal, Minnesota, my dad would go to
- 21:57Speaker 4: a Dare Liquors. It is still there to this day.
- 21:59Speaker 4: I just showed you a picture of it on the map.
- 22:02Speaker 4: My dad would go there, you know, after work or
- 22:04Speaker 4: baseball or whatever, you know, and he would allow me
- 22:06Speaker 4: to go in the store because they had those little
- 22:09Speaker 4: free like suckers, you know, those little tiny.
- 22:13Speaker 2: The dumb dumbs, the dumb dums thing.
- 22:14Speaker 4: Yeah, they had dumb dums in there, and they would
- 22:16Speaker 4: give me one every time I went in there. It's
- 22:19Speaker 4: not like I knew what he was going in there for,
- 22:21Speaker 4: but I knew, Oh, I'm trying to go to the
- 22:22Speaker 4: liquor store because I get a sucker and.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I they'd say hi to me. You know, it was great.
- 22:28Speaker 4: Little did I know twenty one years or I guess probably,
- 22:31Speaker 4: I don't know. Fifteen seventeen years later, I'm still going
- 22:35Speaker 4: in there for a wonderful time. At twenty one plus.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Years old, I feel like a home coming with you.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Honestly, when I walked in, they had the red carpet
- 22:43Speaker 4: for me. They've been like, hey, you've been a long
- 22:44Speaker 4: time customer, now you can finally buy something in here.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Over the years, I probably collected I'm not even kidding,
- 22:54Speaker 4: fifty dollars worth of these twenty five cent suckers.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, that's hilarious.
- 22:58Speaker 1: We did have this up on the Big inety Points
- 23:00Speaker 1: Up on Facebook page, Sila said that hurri kid is
- 23:03Speaker 1: obsessed with minards, while Let's good, while Sarah said her
- 23:08Speaker 1: kids obsessed with pawn shops.
- 23:10Speaker 2: See kids know what's up here? We do have Rob
- 23:13Speaker 2: on the phone. Rob, what store is your kid obsessed with?
- 23:16Speaker 3: I take my son to.
- 23:16Speaker 2: The laundromat every week.
- 23:18Speaker 6: He just just loves the carousel that the clothes.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Go around on. The people there run it for him
- 23:23Speaker 2: and he just laughs at it. It's hilarious. That is wonderful.
- 23:26Speaker 2: That's definitely right.
- 23:27Speaker 3: I loved that, you know what.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I did love that as a kid.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Now but like it's like a memory unlocked.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you can see this thing spinning around a kind
- 23:34Speaker 2: of well, they.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Got so many washing machines at the same time.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Was fascinating, and.
- 23:39Speaker 4: It smells like fresh laundry, yes the time. Yeah, what
- 23:42Speaker 4: about you, Molly, We have Molly on the phone. Molly,
- 23:44Speaker 4: what's your kid's favorite store?
- 23:45Speaker 2: My son is obsessed with Target.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Not the toys, not the candy, the lighting section.
- 23:50Speaker 1: We go in and he's like, Mom, look at this lamp,
- 23:53Speaker 1: and I'm like, there, you are three years old.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Well, you know a good patio furniture, you know a
- 23:59Speaker 4: good lamp, you know good home decor.
- 24:01Speaker 2: When when you know it? Yeah, that's true.
- 24:06Speaker 6: Need starting off the day with something good. This is
- 24:11Speaker 6: Gabe's good News on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Fix It Forward.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Ministry will celebrate its seven hundredth car donation with an
- 24:21Speaker 4: open house on March twenty seventh at its new South
- 24:24Speaker 4: University Drive location. Now, if you don't know what it is,
- 24:27Speaker 4: fix It Forward is a nonprofit charity and what they
- 24:31Speaker 4: really it's in more Head, and what they do is
- 24:33Speaker 4: they try to remove transportation barriers for those who need help,
- 24:38Speaker 4: all right. They want to try to be able to
- 24:40Speaker 4: make people independent and self sufficient.
- 24:43Speaker 2: They accomplish this in two ways.
- 24:44Speaker 4: First is providing free car repairs to those in need
- 24:49Speaker 4: and to help keep their vehicles on the road and safe.
- 24:51Speaker 4: And second is by repairing donated vehicles and giving them
- 24:55Speaker 4: to in need members of our community who do not
- 24:58Speaker 4: have a vehicle or whose vehicles beyond repair. Fix It
- 25:02Speaker 4: Forward utilizes volunteer labor, discounted parts, and charitable donations to
- 25:08Speaker 4: cover the cost of repairs. So this event it's free.
- 25:13Speaker 4: They have prize drawings, food, and the nonprofit they help
- 25:16Speaker 4: people by providing once again all of those free things.
- 25:18Speaker 2: How cool is that?
- 25:19Speaker 1: That's incredible because I know I've have personal experience in
- 25:23Speaker 1: my life with people who have tried everything to get
- 25:26Speaker 1: back on their feet, to get back in the workforce.
- 25:29Speaker 1: But that last missing piece is getting a vehicle, having
- 25:33Speaker 1: a car so that you can go to your new
- 25:34Speaker 1: job when you're trying to get yourself on your feet.
- 25:37Speaker 1: So programs like this absolutely amazing. I love that fix
- 25:41Speaker 1: It Forward.
- 25:41Speaker 4: And if you see or follow the like Fargo Morehead
- 25:45Speaker 4: just kind of community page. Yeah on Facebook, you see
- 25:48Speaker 4: this all the time of people like, Hey, I need
- 25:50Speaker 4: help with breaks. Does anyone do this you know cheap
- 25:53Speaker 4: or discounted? Or where can I go for this repair
- 25:56Speaker 4: on this car? You see this every single day, people
- 25:59Speaker 4: who need help with this. So I think it's kind
- 26:01Speaker 4: of important just to let you know about fix It
- 26:03Speaker 4: Forward ministry could be the answer for you. The world
- 26:06Speaker 4: is full of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 26:08Speaker 4: you gotta be one.
