  back up and I'm working on getting the rest of the classes.

  I think I'm down to think like four classes left for five.

  I'd have to look at my character sheet, but either way, making a

  lot of progress on it and I'm very excited to finally, Maybe

  of a break before we dive into Mythic, but I'm excited to

  actually be stepping into Mythic, which was the the plan

  all along. It's very happy about Out that

  also got to do some Mythic plus again and I'm glad diving back

  into that. Well, but really diving, I sort

  of just am doing the level that I was like, I've gotten a 20

  completed and I've done like, 19's and time, I want to say, I

  got a 20 complete in time, but I've just been I being around
• 3:14
  there but also trepidatious about jumping into That I want

  to get those portals. I want to get the teleport

  because season 4, you're not going to be able to do the
• 3:25
  teleport because we're going to be doing those classic dungeons.

  But at the same time, I'd been sort of wanting to dive into the

  mount hunt. And then also realizing that
• 3:35
  there's just not enough time for everything this is right, right.

  Because you're like, you're getting like, dangerously close

  to 200 months. Finally.

  Like, you're like, what 188 now 180?

  Monumental undertaking for anyone playing this game but

  There you go. Those 500 it was recent Mount

  was the bone hooft or less? Which is like one I had been
• 4:44
  working on for a while. Yeah just some of the some of

  the shadowlands mounts like take quite like they're quite a Time

  investment to to get. Yeah I mean like this one was
• 4:54
  one of the more classic orangey ones you have a I think four
• 4:59
  percent chance of it of it dropping but it's also one Ones
• 5:03
  that I had been attempting without realizing that you
• 5:06
  needed to be part of the right, Covenant.
• 5:09
  And then even when you're part of the right Covenant, you need
• 5:11
  to have a specific creation from the Stitch Works in order to
• 5:15
  even get the chance at it. So while I had been making
• 5:19
  attempts with a quote unquote, High drop chance of 4%.
• 5:23
  It meant nothing until you had the various qualifications to
• 5:27
  actually be eligible for the drop.

  Of course, once I decided to sit down and be like, okay, I need
• 5:32
  to get all of Of the Mounds from the necro, Lords.
• 5:36
  And I started looking up. What do I need for these?

  Yeah, I realize yeah I gotta do this, the Stitch yard and so I

  had been working through that Max that out got a couple of
• 5:45
  them from that which included that one the bone soon flesh
• 5:49
  rock and all that and you know getting getting mounts is great.

  The missing mounts though I have two solo through plague fall to
• 6:00
  get that plague where Mount yeah great that slime sir.

  Bent, I think it's called, Mmm, I've got to do that.

  I am missing one Mount one last Mount from the creation

  Catalyst. Unfortunately, that requires a

  drop from a raid boss. That is a low chance drop.

  So every so often I keep diving and LFR being like well, maybe
• 6:22
  I'll get a chance and then wondering if it does drop it off
• 6:25
  of LFR. I can say that it does I did see
• 6:27
  somebody else, get it just not meet good, that's good.

  I mean that it can drop from l.a. far, nothing.

  You didn't get it, obviously. Obviously, obviously there's 11

  whole mount in the entirety of shadowlands, that I have yet to
• 6:43
  get and it's the one Mount that I want and it's the one that you
• 6:47
  have to go farm. The flayed Wings in mild raxus
• 6:52
  to get the egg. Yes, and I have gone out there.

  I cannot tell you. How many times I've sat down and
• 6:59
  been like, okay, I'm just gonna like throw on.

  Music. And I'm just gonna sit here for
• 7:05
  an hour and I'm going to fly around Mi drax's, and I'm going
• 7:07
  to try to get this egg. And I'm going to do everything
• 7:09
  that I can to be efficient with my flayed Wing killing and try
• 7:16
  and get this egg finally, and I still haven't gotten it.

  I've done it countless times and I still the egg.
• 7:24
  Eludes me and I'm this, this is the part of the game that
• 7:28
  frustrates me. So let's go through that.

  They're, you know, you've Done this countless times.

  You can't remember how many times you've done that.

  So I'm seeing you being one of those kind of hand solo Mount

  collectors. Never tell me the odds.

  Don't don't worry about the numbers.

  You're just going to put the effort in.

  Hopefully it hits, right? Shouldn't have to do this to

  impress me sir. The possibility of successfully

  navigating an asteroid field is approximately 3,720 to 1.

  discourage me is not the chance of it going, but how much you

  have to do in order to get that chance?

  That seems fine to me what I hate when I absolutely hate is

  run through these 20 different steps and then you get a chance

  or you need to wait for this guy to be up and then run it over

  here and then blah blah, blah blah blah and then you get a

  chance, those ones annoy the crap out of me.

  Those are the ones that I do at this.

  Nah. So there are certain ones that

  are always going to be harder for me.

  I'm not going to spend a day out in northrend waiting for time
• 9:11
  loss. Two pair and there are tricks to
• 9:14
  doing that. There's entire instance,
• 9:17
  closings, this sort of thing, where if you go out specially on
• 9:21
  our P servers, you go out to the RP server, you make sure you are
• 9:26
  the only one in the area. You can do a scan for a for it
• 9:29
  really and you wait for a bit and then you're like screw it
• 9:34
  switch over to different character and go out there.
• 9:36
  And if nobody is in the zone for 15 minutes, The Zone D spawns,
• 9:41
  and then obviously, When you log back into your character, it
• 9:44
  creates a new Zone, which means fresh chance of getting it, and
• 9:47
  you could do it that way. Hmm, or something far more
• 9:50
  straightforward, like the who Lon bonds, every 20-30 minutes
• 9:55
  or so. And there is no lockout, you can
• 9:58
  kill him a 20 times in a day and each chance.

  Each one you kill is a new chance, but like that to me is
• 10:05
  just so mind-numbing. So, I'd rather just do my weekly
• 10:10
  chances, or do my daily chance of Go through it rather than
• 10:14
  those Camp off things or the ones that like have 20 different
• 10:17
  steps to get a chance at it. If it's 20 different steps and
• 10:20
  you get it guaranteed, I'll do that.

  That to me seems like a just a question with this as a reward.

  Yeah, if there's if there's like a deterministic element to it,
• 10:32
  that makes it a lot more palatable and I find that to be
• 10:35
  true like across the board with anything available in the game.

  Like, if you, if you give me something to terminus stick to

  do, like you give me. A list of tasks to go do.

  I'll do them, I'll do whatever. But it doesn't matter.

  there are definitely times where it's like, oh, you just have to

  beat this boss on hard mode. You're like, I don't want to go

  through that. Forget it.

  I'm not doing it that we've had with mechag on, or with Kara's

  an where I had to like drag you in.

  It's like, don't worry. Worry, there's like pretty much

  100% chance because it's five of us.

  Somebody's gonna get this Mount, will come back and just like,

  oh, I don't want to do this dungeon five times, we get it,

  I'm done. So you see that, but I feel like
• 11:23
  the case is born out against you.

  I felt like I agree with part of that.

  Except that there's certain things that are just a lot of
• 11:31
  effort like the plague fall Mount but we're just talking
• 11:34
  about that slime worm. That requires me to gear up a
• 11:41
  alt tank at Decent level to be able to solo that.

  That's a huge investment that I don't want to spend time in.
• 11:49
  Well, I did mine with just with NASA three.
• 11:52
  I gir like I went in on my desk night with, with heroic level
• 11:57
  castle and a 3 a gear and Soledad just fine.

  So you could go in and get like some like just 233 stuff from
• 12:06
  from zeroth mortise and be just fine.
• 12:08
  Like, honestly it's not, it sounds a lot more.

  V than it actually is, I don't know.

  Did you, did you do it on heroic, I guess?

  Mmm. And you, you had a death knight.

  So yeah. Maybe yeah.

  It's totally doable. Now, with not even zeroth more

  to scary, like, just go buy some cheap 233 crafted stuff.

  Yeah, you don't even have to like care about what the stats

  are, like it could be the worst stat line possible.

  Just get the cheapest 233 gear set that you can and and jump

  in. Right.

  Well, you know what if this, if before this episode comes out,

  checked it out myself because I was just add vanilla is dead and

  you need to have engineering to see that something's off.

  Well turns out, somebody decided to just pass it a body enough to

  find out that there's more to this Quest.

  You can do more with this. And it leads when where what,

  you know, I haven't done it yet but I've also stayed that way.

  Way, way away from spoilers, to make sure that it's not ruined

  for me, as I will be doing this. Shortly.

  This is yet again. A bonus of something not being

  Yes. And one of the reasons is this

  late Discovery stuff, the stuff where people find out things

  after the fact, and we were talking about it in the abstract

  Yeah, some of the, some of the most fun that people have had

  with this game is stuff that's tied to like the secret finders

  Discord. Like the, we have entire

  communities that have popped up around Finding out all of the

  different secrets that are hidden throughout the World of
• 14:45
  Warcraft and that really didn't kick up like in full swing until
• 14:50
  Legion and then after Legion, there were a couple of things,
• 14:54
  like it BFA that that got pulled up that, where that were
• 14:59
  secrets, that they weren't things that were on the PTR that
• 15:02
  that people were able to find. But ever since ever, since
• 15:05
  Shadow has came out, it's just been, we knew everything on
• 15:09
  launch day, like we just knew everything.
• 15:10
  So it hasn't there hasn't really been Been that much of an
• 15:14
  element like I haven't I haven't heard the hype coming out of the
• 15:17
  secret finder Community like I have in previous expansions and
• 15:21
  that's been kind of sad for me. I mean yes and no I think part
• 15:26
  of it is that we haven't had those big secrets for a bit in a
• 15:31
  way. Yeah, again it's funny that like
• 15:35
  all of this is coming full circle.
• 15:36
  But everything is connected. The plague worm, the Slime worm
• 15:40
  rather was something that wasn't Discovered day one, people kept
• 15:43
  wondering, how do we get this? I know it's in the files, we
• 15:48
  know it comes from somewhere in here.
• 15:51
  How do we go about getting this? And that was something that was
• 15:53
  discovered much later and so then people started doing their
• 15:57
  solo runs to figure it out. Yeah.
• 15:59
  But you know on the other hand I think I think what made the hype
• 16:04
  around the secret finder stuff back in Legion and to a lesser
• 16:07
  extent BFA was just that it was a constant activity like there.

  Has constant activity coming out of that community and we just we
• 16:16
  just haven't had it though. It was always something new to
• 16:18
  discover you are right. And that was part of the what
• 16:23
  kind of made Legion so special and you can think even back to
• 16:29
  be fa ones like the waste of time and that like goat like how
• 16:33
  do we defeat this goat its Invincible they like or finding.
• 16:38
  But I mean, I guess this was more of like an Easter egg but
• 16:40
  like, finding the 100 Acre Woods characters that cast in.

  I think he's on. Yeah.

  But that, that, that was something people came across.

  I would think it was more like when you do the Mind worm and
• 16:53
  people are trying to figure out what in the world are you
• 16:55
  supposed to do with this? And it was like, oh, the damage

  you take is the combination that works out and all of that sort

  of weird secret finding stuff. Which we just, I haven't really

  seen that in this expansion. Definitely not to the same level

  and I would love to see that. That come back and dragonflight

  and Beyond. Yeah, be something that they're

  constantly throwing in in, not just in launch because I really
• 17:19
  think shadowlands had a good launch.

  Where we were like, oh let's go raise this devour spawn and
• 17:26
  that's how you got a mount or sin writer and doing those
• 17:31
  daily. So, there was like, there were
• 17:33
  these cool, little non Progressive Community, things
• 17:37
  that people would do and like, okay, well where do we find the
• 17:41
  oats, the feeder? And Go back to the old world.
• 17:43
  And where do we get these Horseshoes and all that and all
• 17:46
  the exciting stuff? So then we're some stuff at
• 17:48
  launch of shadowlands but definitely this is these are the
• 17:53
  sort of things that have suffered in the work from home
• 17:56
  model that they had to transfer to and the heavy delays.

  Obviously, when you are already suffering, delays you're not
• 18:05
  going to delay further, the fit this stuff in so they had to I
• 18:09
  feel like they really had to strip the game down.

  Two Basic Essentials, which kind of leaves us with where we're
• 18:16
  at. With nine point, two point five,
• 18:18
  it has had some fantastic story elements, and the questions that
• 18:25
  we've had, I've enjoyed, I have enjoyed, it will be covering

  another one of those this week, as well, but we're what two
• 18:33
  weeks into it. And I think I've already felt
• 18:36
  like I seen it all. Yeah.

  Like, I haven't even done the quest lines like the, the
• 18:40
  actual, like the That we've seen like it obviously, like the

  vanara stuff. Like I'm interested in that

  because I'd like we didn't know about it until just now and

  like, like we knew about it this week, but I mean to say, but I
• 18:54
  I've already seen, I've already seen the quest lines of seen the
• 18:58
  the cinematics that have been put in with these questlines.

  I know what what's waiting for me with them?

  And like, I'm gonna do them eventually once I get my like,

  my my Mage and like, I'm On leveling characters right now.

  So it's like it's not at the top of my priority because these

  quest lines are going anywhere anytime soon.

  Like, they're probably not even going to go anywhere.

  Once we get into 10.0 and Tube into pre patch territory but

  there's not a rush, I don't feel, I don't feel a rush to get

  to it. So it's just kind of been

  something that I've I've observed passively and not
• 19:34
  really actively participated in. So I've been feeling like, I've
• 19:38
  seen everything that this patch, this nine point two point, five,
• 19:42
  Has to offer for like a week already.

  So it's kind of just like, I'm like we have we have the 10.0
• 19:49
  stuff like on the horizon. Have you done any of the
• 19:52
  Heritage quests? I started it.

  I started it on my warlock. I'm bleeding Hollow, but I
• 19:59
  haven't, I haven't actually gotten into the questline.

  I just talked to Leah Drennan in orbis.

  That's, that's the extent of us so far.

  Okay, all right, I've seen everything I've seen everything

  that is involved with the quest line.

  I just haven't done it myself. I mean like, I, that's one thing

  that I want to do this coming week is actually do that on one

  of my alts, to get the gear in the weapons.

  I don't have a iron, a dark iron dwarf, and I again, I'm very

  much back to like, I don't think I want to do a million alts

  right now, I just I'm going to focus on my Shaman because we're
• 20:37
  moving into myth grading. I really want to make sure that
• 20:39
  I'm on top of that. I have been Building an
• 20:43
  elemental because my team is actually melee heavy.
• 20:48
  So being able to be flexible and move to Elemental to do, that is
• 20:52
  something I want to do it. Definitely hurts that.

  I don't have the same 278 weapons that I have on my
• 20:59
  enhancement build. So on fights where it doesn't
• 21:02
  matter for us. I'm just like yeah let me just
• 21:04
  go and hand so we could burn this down.

  Hopefully something will drop. But yeah, my focus is yet again
• 21:10
  on my main I want to do Mount hunting so going through old
• 21:15
  content, which maybe I would do Legion to on a new class to do
• 21:21
  those campaigns. But if you're going to say, oh,
• 21:25
  the story I've seen before on videos and such, so it's out
• 21:29
  there and I could always get there.

  That is my exact thought about alts like we've covered.

  We've covered everything that happened and Legion on this very
• 21:41
  show before I On this show, they did all of the various Legion
• 21:46
  order Hall campaigns and I got to listen to you Joss and I got

  to listen to Garrett. Just geeky about it.

  It geeking out about it and it was great.

  Yeah, I don't need to do it myself.

  Yeah, well, I mean for me for Legion content in particular,

  like there's the the looming on all the the characters that I

  enjoy playing. There's the the looming like

  These are characters that I started to get the artifact
• 22:15
  skins unlocked. And I've only got, like, a
• 22:17
  handful of them. And so I really want to go back

  and unlock some more. Some more of those skins
• 22:22
  especially especially Druids skins.

  Like I just love The Druids skins and I want to go back and
• 22:30
  collect more of it. Like, when I look at the
• 22:32
  collection stuff, like that's the kind of stuff that I want to
• 22:34
  collect. Like the mounts are great and
• 22:36
  all, but like, nine times out of ten, I'm going to be using Out
• 22:41
  that just matches my, my characters aesthetic at the time
• 22:45
  you're going to do that. If you don't have the right now,
• 22:47
  like then I'll get the mount. I will Target the one Mount that
• 22:51
  I need for the aesthetic and then I'll go get it or I'll find
• 22:54
  one that is like tangential to it.

  Like I don't even have to be spot-on, it just needs to be

  playing your Shaman, you've got your entire lightning, bring the

  Thunder enhancement. Build you're rocking out in that

  need a mount to match that and of course, you think to yourself

  Malik the thunder dragon of and he was blue to just like your

  gear and he shot off lightning just like your gear.

  And now I've gotten Alec Well one I hate you but to and you

  now have to camp out trying to and every time you go out to get

  now, like you only reminded that you don't have the right gear,

  you've got some adjacently, good mount for it.

  It's like the Proto Drake model, but it's got like the like, the,

  the gore Chomper armor and it's like, it's like Russia.

  Rusty bloody like plated armor on on top of the head.

  And it's one of the, it's one of the Gladiator match, but it's

  expansion, exploring the difference between the two and

  hope and the path forward and having the light in her eyes
