- Prashanthi Nuthi: This is the last one. Hello friends, lately I've been going to office five times a week. I'd forgotten how bad the Atlanta traffic was. This morning when I was going to office I spotted a silver sedan. It was right behind me. Then traffic peaked, I started doing what I do best, I started changing lanes with the hope that I would reach my destination soon. After about 10-15 minutes, I saw the same silver sedan pass by me. No rushing, no zigzagging, no changing lanes. Slowly, steadily, the sedan overtook me. That's when I realized. That's when I realized I had been overreacting to the illusion that the other lanes were moving faster than mine. Which was not necessarily true. And I see a similar pattern outside the highway too. We change career paths, we change jobs, projects, strategies, assuming that someone else is moving faster than us. Yes, sometimes it may be true, but not always. And not just that, after a couple of minutes there was an accident on the highway and all the lanes were blocked. It made me realise that some delays are not due to That some delays are not due to the lane that we chose. Some delays are just a part of the journey. We need to embrace them. So here's the micro boost for you today. Think about a place in your life, either personal or professional, where you have been changing lanes lately. And ask yourself, am I responding to something real or am I reacting to the illusion that someone else is going faster than me? Remember small actions, big impact. Until we meet again next time, let's keep making impact together. Thank you. As I grow older and mature, I realize that The people, I realize that the people who reach their destination sooner are the ones who go slowly and steadily and not the ones who rush. Thank you.
