- 1:33Speaker 1: Salt Lake City. Oh dah, yeah, hava dah.
- 1:38Speaker 2: That's right.
- 1:38Speaker 1: You know, the snowfall in Salt Lake City, it's like
- 1:44Speaker 1: whatever time they're filming, clearly in the winter time, but
- 1:47Speaker 1: still feels like it's constantly snowing there? Does it not?
- 1:52Speaker 2: It does? Yeah. I was like, yeah, I'm in right
- 1:58Speaker 2: there it does. And and the girls are so you know,
- 2:02Speaker 2: we would be snowflakes if we were there, just sort
- 2:05Speaker 2: of like, oh, it's cold, it's cold. It's like these girls,
- 2:09Speaker 2: snow is just another character, you know, in their daily life.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Like they don't let it, you know, really alter their outfit.
- 2:17Speaker 2: You know, we just move and flow with the snow.
- 2:20Speaker 1: They'll put on hotpants, you know, and they'll they'll just
- 2:24Speaker 1: walk down the streets of Salt Lake City and they'll
- 2:27Speaker 1: be fine.
- 2:27Speaker 2: With it, absolutely fine.
- 2:30Speaker 1: You know. It was kind of funny when they were
- 2:32Speaker 1: in Palm Springs going from the extreme weather change and
- 2:36Speaker 1: they were by the pool and Lisa Varlow was like,
- 2:38Speaker 1: aren't you hot in that? To Meredith and she was like,
- 2:41Speaker 1: I mean this says nothing. That's just like a sweater
- 2:43Speaker 1: tank put And it's like, truly, Barlow is speaking the
- 2:48Speaker 1: truth about you know, weather, because could you go from
- 2:52Speaker 1: that to wearing sweater pieces, you know, and Palm Springs
- 2:58Speaker 1: it says a lot like Meredith, I you know, she
- 3:00Speaker 1: loves a hot bath. She obviously doesn't mind a sweater
- 3:03Speaker 1: outfit in Palm Springs Weather.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I did, like I It's so funny because like the
- 3:09Speaker 2: first season, I loved every I loved Meredith suits, I loved,
- 3:14Speaker 2: I loved it all, and I have truly turned on
- 3:17Speaker 2: it all, Like I.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Don't look to her oh for fashion fashion?
- 3:21Speaker 2: God, No, but I did. But I'm telling you, like
- 3:25Speaker 2: season one, I was like, oh, I love the way
- 3:27Speaker 2: she puts herself together. But that sweater thing I loved
- 3:33Speaker 2: on her. I love the color, the tope. I just
- 3:35Speaker 2: thought it was beautiful on her. She looked really beautiful
- 3:39Speaker 2: this this episode and it was really week Yeah, we
- 3:42Speaker 2: haven't gotten a lot of her this season somehow.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right, Okay, I want to actually circle back
- 3:49Speaker 1: to that, but just to land on her outfits, I
- 3:51Speaker 1: do agree with you. We love a power suit, We
- 3:55Speaker 1: love a blazer. You know, there's nothing about a blazer
- 3:58Speaker 1: or a blazer, you know, a nice suit that we
- 4:01Speaker 1: don't love, Like right, we're gonna run into it. So
- 4:04Speaker 1: for her to show up and start to like have
- 4:07Speaker 1: that going for her, then it really got lost in
- 4:10Speaker 1: the shovel because it turned into blazer dresses, which was okay,
- 4:15Speaker 1: but then it was like ill fitting blazer dresses. And
- 4:19Speaker 1: then what I think happened is and look, I'm sorry,
- 4:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna bring her son into it because I'm not
- 4:26Speaker 1: on the cast, so I can't I and look, Sean
- 4:30Speaker 1: and I are gonna have to agree on this. You know,
- 4:32Speaker 1: her son got involved and that's when the fashions went
- 4:36Speaker 1: downhill because he was like dressing her for the reunions
- 4:41Speaker 1: and designing things and that. Do you recall that suit
- 4:47Speaker 1: thing that she wore that.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I'll never know obviously, I'll never forget it. It was
- 4:52Speaker 2: truly the least. It was just so ill fitting on
- 4:56Speaker 2: her and demented. It was really cold.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Ray Jennet and we were all like what happened, you know,
- 5:04Speaker 1: just wondering.
- 5:06Speaker 2: What happened because it went from like it also is
- 5:11Speaker 2: weird to just never let us suit. I mean maybe
- 5:14Speaker 2: that's why the sweater was so refreshing, because it just
- 5:17Speaker 2: is so nice to see her in a formal Yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I mean, I'm structured, because why are we always so structured?
- 5:27Speaker 2: Like you have You're not you are a lawyer, but
- 5:30Speaker 2: you're not marching into the firm every day and you.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Have a.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Little shoe box of a store on the boulevard. If
- 5:40Speaker 2: that doesn't need you don't need to be in a
- 5:42Speaker 2: structured suit to that. I mean, I just don't know.
- 5:45Speaker 2: And we're never in there with her anyway.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Right you know, Yeah, that's a well I don't think
- 5:50Speaker 1: she's in there either, you know what I mean. It's
- 5:53Speaker 1: it reminds me a little bit like the Sutton concept.
- 5:55Speaker 1: It's like it's there, but is anything really happening behind
- 6:00Speaker 1: closed doors? Although I think Sutton concept didn't it just
- 6:02Speaker 1: shut down closed?
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, well we did. We did that little deep dive
- 6:07Speaker 2: after after we went to something about her and Sutton
- 6:12Speaker 2: is really her store was really close to that, so
- 6:15Speaker 2: it hadn't you know. We considered it marching over and
- 6:18Speaker 2: doing a little tour. But I went home and I
- 6:23Speaker 2: looked on the website and it was like it had
- 6:27Speaker 2: four pieces. Essentially, it was like one T shirt now
- 6:34Speaker 2: name Yeah, it was like one T shirt at forty
- 6:39Speaker 2: five dollars and then like a pair of weirdo pants
- 6:44Speaker 2: at four thousand, seven hundred and sixty five.
- 6:47Speaker 1: You know. It was Yeah, we were like, we didn't
- 6:51Speaker 1: we couldn't even wrap our heads around it. It made
- 6:52Speaker 1: absolutely zero sense. It was like to compare it to
- 6:56Speaker 1: the She by char like she by cher was a
- 6:58Speaker 1: huge smashing access in terms of her website as opposed
- 7:02Speaker 1: to like what Sutton had on her website at that time.
- 7:05Speaker 1: And we all know that Chera's website crashed and couldn't
- 7:08Speaker 1: make it to the people on the day she was launching,
- 7:10Speaker 1: so that says a lot.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I can't imagine who the customer for Sutton was, like,
- 7:17Speaker 2: there's just I don't know who that because it basically
- 7:20Speaker 2: felt like, these are a couple items in my closet
- 7:23Speaker 2: that I want to sort.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Of send a threat up.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, but I'm gonna call it a store. It
- 7:30Speaker 2: just made less than no sense.
- 7:33Speaker 1: By the way, the sweater outfit that Meredith was wearing.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Speaking of sweaters, and I have an ad later, but
- 7:39Speaker 1: I don't want you to all miss this because some
- 7:41Speaker 1: Patreon do ad free. But drama fifteen on Jenny Kine
- 7:47Speaker 1: that's all I say. Amazing pieces, it's fall get there.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Thank you anyway, Carrie on Deanna, I.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Bet you you can find that tope beautiful tope color.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I mean that's part of the Jenny Kine palette.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's where it's happening. It's happening these days,
- 8:03Speaker 1: but with that shade. But like right now with Meredith
- 8:08Speaker 1: and this season, it almost feels like her wardrobe reflects
- 8:13Speaker 1: her position and what's happening on the season, like uptight structured,
- 8:17Speaker 1: like you know, I'm not talking about that. There are
- 8:21Speaker 1: children and pain, you know, just very intense and serious.
- 8:25Speaker 1: We're getting the blazer this season. She's just kind of
- 8:28Speaker 1: in the background, much like Heather, which is what I
- 8:31Speaker 1: wanted to mention, Yeah, because it is kind of a
- 8:35Speaker 1: big deal at this point.
- 8:36Speaker 2: It is.
- 8:36Speaker 1: You know, we're eight episodes in Deanna and Heather is
- 8:41Speaker 1: like not on the cast trip, well, like what's happening
- 8:46Speaker 1: and like what happened?
- 8:50Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 8:51Speaker 1: Wild?
- 8:51Speaker 2: The thing is like this Bronwin has come in.
- 8:57Speaker 1: And speak on it.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Well, she's she's acting like this is season four for her,
- 9:08Speaker 2: keep it and you know, so we've never quite seen
- 9:13Speaker 2: this level of ownership from a newbie before. She's running it.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I don't even know, like I'm out of words because
- 9:23Speaker 1: in this episode, Deanna she did run it, she sent
- 9:27Speaker 1: it and she had everything. Oh look at all the
- 9:30Speaker 1: Apple updates with our fingers. If you're watching the CDEO,
- 9:35Speaker 1: we gotta thumbs up.
- 9:37Speaker 2: They agree she's running it.
- 9:38Speaker 1: She's running it. Like everything happened in this episode with her,
- 9:43Speaker 1: Yeah that a housewife does in one entire season, and
- 9:46Speaker 1: it happened in one episode. And sorry to jump to
- 9:50Speaker 1: the end, but like she started. You know, she's the
- 9:53Speaker 1: one who was popping off at Lisa at the pond
- 9:58Speaker 1: pool jacuzzi stable and she's yelling at her, and then
- 10:03Speaker 1: she walks off, saying remarks like dick riding your dick,
- 10:07Speaker 1: and she leaves and it's like Lisa was kind of
- 10:11Speaker 1: responding to her. She didn't even get a word in edgewise.
- 10:14Speaker 1: If Lisa Barlow can't get a word in edgewise with
- 10:17Speaker 1: a housewife, I don't what happened Like this is this
- 10:21Speaker 1: is next level house whiffery. But for like Lisa to
- 10:26Speaker 1: get in trouble like Lisa was in trouble with Todd,
- 10:29Speaker 1: Like I feel in trouble with Todd. How are we
- 10:31Speaker 1: all touching down with Todd right now?
- 10:34Speaker 2: I will say thank I Well, you know I said
- 10:39Speaker 2: to myself, thank you Jesus that there's no person of
- 10:41Speaker 2: color on this particular trip, because the way he says
- 10:46Speaker 2: these people, the way he reduces, like every time he
- 10:52Speaker 2: said it. It took my breath away, you know, yes, yes, oh,
- 11:00Speaker 2: just like I'm just so happy that we don't have
- 11:03Speaker 2: to like take a hit out on him, you know
- 11:06Speaker 2: what I mean, Like it's just so crazy he had.
- 11:11Speaker 2: I mean, this is their anniversary party trip, right like this,
- 11:16Speaker 2: that's the thing. So that does make it. I give
- 11:19Speaker 2: him a little room because it's not just a cast trip.
- 11:24Speaker 2: It's an anniversary trip.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Fair.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I really have to give that something's my anniversary today.
- 11:30Speaker 2: So maybe I'm feeling some kind of way, but it's
- 11:34Speaker 2: a big, bigger deal than just like let's take let's
- 11:38Speaker 2: take everybody to Palm Springs for the weekend. You know, yeah,
- 11:44Speaker 2: I mean Bronwyn, she's mad at So are you saying
- 11:50Speaker 2: that Bronwyn had no right to call Lisa out for
- 11:55Speaker 2: having a conversation with Heather and saying we miss you.
- 11:58Speaker 1: No, not that I do think I was completely antagonistic.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I mean yeah, no, no, no, sorry, yes, I kind
- 12:06Speaker 1: of like I really am skipping ahead, like I'm skipping
- 12:09Speaker 1: stones today. But and we can just go there, you know,
- 12:13Speaker 1: and discuss it. But like when that scene happened by
- 12:18Speaker 1: the pool, first of all, we got a glorious uh
- 12:24Speaker 1: announcement in Meredith as getting herring aids, which is amazing
- 12:29Speaker 1: and I love it, like I'm I love it and
- 12:32Speaker 1: I love it Angie, Oh babe, I'm I'm in the
- 12:34Speaker 1: same boat sham where I have to get some true
- 12:36Speaker 1: we're all.
- 12:37Speaker 2: One hundred percent. It was so it was so real.
- 12:41Speaker 2: It's so great. It is.
- 12:44Speaker 1: It's relatable, and it makes you know, aid the aging
- 12:47Speaker 1: process not feel you don't feel alone. And and merediths like,
- 12:52Speaker 1: I'm exciting. I mean, it's nice to see somebody just
- 12:56Speaker 1: without hesitation, yeah, owning it. I mean my dad is
- 13:00Speaker 1: four and he still is like fighting it. I mean
- 13:03Speaker 1: he's finally now using hearing aids. But you know, people
- 13:06Speaker 1: have a lot of pride about that and they don't
- 13:09Speaker 1: want to have to be seen as having a hearing
- 13:11Speaker 1: problem due to age. And perhaps Meredith isn't doesn't have
- 13:17Speaker 1: anything to do with age. Perhaps she just has always
- 13:19Speaker 1: had some hearing issues and is finally like going to
- 13:21Speaker 1: tackle it.
- 13:23Speaker 2: But no, like could dos, Yeah major could dos also
- 13:32Speaker 2: just positioning it like and it's their air pods as well,
- 13:36Speaker 2: like you know, just giving the just landing on like
- 13:41Speaker 2: and I have a bonus. There's a bonus feature. You know,
- 13:45Speaker 2: it was amazing.
- 13:46Speaker 1: By the way these ads. Yeah no, no, go ahead,
- 13:49Speaker 1: Well I was gonna say, the way they work it
- 13:52Speaker 1: is amazing and extremely frustrating to my mom when I
- 13:56Speaker 1: call my dad and it immediately will go into his
- 14:00Speaker 1: hearing aids because it's like, so right, So he's talking
- 14:03Speaker 1: that way and then he's like, oh, I'm talking to Amy,
- 14:07Speaker 1: isn't it on speaker. She's like, no, Alan, it's not.
- 14:10Speaker 1: It's in your hearing aids. Oh oh, hold on, hold on,
- 14:13Speaker 1: And so it's this whole thing. How you got to
- 14:15Speaker 1: get it off this? You know that being said, yes,
- 14:19Speaker 1: still great.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Well, and the other thing for those wondering, you know,
- 14:24Speaker 2: I somebody in my life is our age needs hearing aids.
- 14:30Speaker 2: And one of the big things for getting them and
- 14:35Speaker 2: getting on top of it is not just so you
- 14:37Speaker 2: can hear everything around you, but what happens is you
- 14:41Speaker 2: mentally decline when you do not get your hearing aids.
- 14:45Speaker 2: The reason being is that you start to just drop
- 14:48Speaker 2: out of conversations because you can't hear it. So instead
- 14:52Speaker 2: of trying to say what what, trying to engage, you
- 14:56Speaker 2: start to drop out, and that can have an effect
- 14:58Speaker 2: on your mental Oh.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Stay, yes, that makes so much sense.
- 15:03Speaker 2: It doesn't it, So it really is a big deal
- 15:07Speaker 2: to keep on it and not let it go.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Now. I wonder if Meredith, since she's like the first
- 15:14Speaker 1: housewife to really welcome in hearing aids, Yeah, if she'll
- 15:24Speaker 1: do something like put some jewels on it. I mean,
- 15:27Speaker 1: she does sell jewelry. Do you think she'll like bedazzle
- 15:29Speaker 1: her hearing aids in a class anyway?
- 15:32Speaker 2: I don't know that you want to like add weight
- 15:34Speaker 2: to any hearing aid per se. But what I would
- 15:42Speaker 2: like is for her to get a let's get her
- 15:44Speaker 2: a sponsorship, Let's get her a commercial, Let's have a
- 15:46Speaker 2: brand deal like let's yeah, let's make this.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Pop now you're talking.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd like to see that she deserves it for
- 15:55Speaker 2: her work, for her hearing aid work, no jokes, like
- 15:59Speaker 2: dead ass.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Dead ass, badass, but also like for her loss of
- 16:06Speaker 1: the bath bombs that she didn't get there before Whitney
- 16:09Speaker 1: and now it's just too late, like she can't it's
- 16:12Speaker 1: too late if she doesn't have product out now forget
- 16:16Speaker 1: it like that that ship that bubble bath has drained.
- 16:20Speaker 2: First of all, Amy, I do want to make a
- 16:23Speaker 2: we have the same bracelet on su wait is yours true?
- 16:26Speaker 1: Mine is not? Cartier? Is yours?
- 16:28Speaker 2: No minus J minus too? I know, I know yours is.
- 16:34Speaker 2: This is too. I just literally got it on sale
- 16:37Speaker 2: me too.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Oh my god, stop wait, so what's the other one
- 16:40Speaker 1: you're wearing?
- 16:41Speaker 2: So I got so that is a little like it's
- 16:46Speaker 2: Jake Crew too.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I love that.
- 16:49Speaker 2: I didn't see both on sale. It's there, it's a
- 16:52Speaker 2: it's available. We did for how to Be Less Old
- 16:54Speaker 2: a few days ago. Emily and I met her friend
- 16:58Speaker 2: who works at j Crew and so, you know, we've
- 17:01Speaker 2: done some of these like styling posts about you know,
- 17:05Speaker 2: how to wear X, Y and Z. So we went
- 17:10Speaker 2: in with her and we did we got some content
- 17:13Speaker 2: and she put these on me and I was like, oh,
- 17:15Speaker 2: these are going to take me through the holiday season,
- 17:17Speaker 2: like ye these are my These bangles are with me
- 17:21Speaker 2: for life, you know.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Oh my god. I am so excited right now. One.
- 17:27Speaker 1: You know, Jay Crew is like obviously one of our staples.
- 17:30Speaker 1: We love it, and I've been a little complaining about
- 17:34Speaker 1: Jay Crew lately, right but guys, I mean I'm about
- 17:38Speaker 1: going back. I mean I was just on their website
- 17:40Speaker 1: the other day look, I sent back some stuff, but
- 17:42Speaker 1: you know, I'm going to weed through what works and
- 17:44Speaker 1: what doesn't. This works. I got a necklace from their sale.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Hated it, didn't like it, sent it back. Okay, okay,
- 17:51Speaker 1: I get it out of here.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Yeah, this money back.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Amazing And I wish I had another sla. Okay.
- 17:57Speaker 2: I have one beautiful Bengal similar size to that. That
- 18:04Speaker 2: is my mother in law's and I got at my
- 18:07Speaker 2: wedding as part of like the Chinese tea ceremony where
- 18:10Speaker 2: that you get gold. I had no idea. It's amazing
- 18:13Speaker 2: and I love wearing it, but it is it is
- 18:18Speaker 2: too special, and like its wing is always panicked when
- 18:22Speaker 2: I have It's just too special, right, you know what
- 18:24Speaker 2: I mean?
- 18:25Speaker 1: I get that it's like.
- 18:27Speaker 2: So it's and it's got like these beautiful etchings in it.
- 18:30Speaker 2: So so this is like banging or Bengal. Yeah, we're free,
- 18:36Speaker 2: we're loose. We can pomp this on and right now,
- 18:39Speaker 2: like if you get these online. I think it was
- 18:42Speaker 2: this this, uh it was like sixty. It's under twenty
- 18:45Speaker 2: dollars right now. The Bengal and this, I think both
- 18:49Speaker 2: of them are under twenty, which is what I like
- 18:50Speaker 2: to see for my costume jewelry.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Absolutely yeah. Okay, well, while we're on the topic of jewelry,
- 18:58Speaker 1: we might as well just talk about bron Wins anniversary
- 19:01Speaker 1: gifts and the jeweler coming over. And she's like, have
- 19:04Speaker 1: universary to me.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Right, that's a really good impression.
- 19:11Speaker 1: My god, I love Braun. I love Bronwin so much.
- 19:13Speaker 1: And when she was facetiming Todd in Korea, she was like,
- 19:18Speaker 1: are you ready to fly home? And then fly to
- 19:20Speaker 1: Palm Spree And then she's like heather stormed out of
- 19:26Speaker 1: the house. She kind of always ends it on a
- 19:31Speaker 1: lab It's like really light and she cracks me up. Okay,
- 19:35Speaker 1: so we have this jeweler that comes to the house
- 19:38Speaker 1: and wow, wow.
- 19:41Speaker 2: First of all, the jeweler's energy had me lolling.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Ell Lewis, Yes, I died with that energy.
- 19:51Speaker 2: She was like, I'm schlapping dollars worth of jewels from
- 19:58Speaker 2: Los Angeles to Palm Spring. I see cameras running. I
- 20:02Speaker 2: know I committed to this, but god damn it, I
- 20:04Speaker 2: don't want to be on this camera. She was just like,
- 20:09Speaker 2: this bitch already saw these jewels a week ago. It
- 20:12Speaker 2: sounds like when she came to the vaults and put
- 20:15Speaker 2: Charlie's Charlie's s Theron's necklace around her dog. So we
- 20:19Speaker 2: already know, like, couldn't this be a text? You know
- 20:23Speaker 2: what I mean? Does does he mean to see it
- 20:27Speaker 2: with his eyes? Can? I couldn't I have put the
- 20:29Speaker 2: necklace on and sent Toad a text? I mean, she
- 20:32Speaker 2: just didn't want to be there, and it was making
- 20:35Speaker 2: me laugh.
- 20:36Speaker 1: It was such a hard ask because like I was
- 20:40Speaker 1: feeling that woman's energy, like you so hard when she
- 20:43Speaker 1: came into that house. She was so stressed. We've all
- 20:46Speaker 1: made that drive from Los Angeles to Palm Springs and
- 20:49Speaker 1: depending on the day in time, Well, you cannot stop.
- 20:54Speaker 1: You've got that kind of load in your car. Like,
- 20:57Speaker 1: first of all, she had to have had some sort
- 20:58Speaker 1: of security or following her. She had to have Do
- 21:02Speaker 1: you think security?
- 21:04Speaker 2: You know, it's a good it's a good question. I
- 21:06Speaker 2: wonder if you're in.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Your car or in a brink sprush. She's like, you
- 21:11Speaker 1: can't stop at arrest. You're not gonna go through McDonald's
- 21:14Speaker 1: with that stuff.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Oh my god, No bladder must be emptied before the
- 21:19Speaker 2: trip and throw a diaper Like yeah, I don't think
- 21:23Speaker 2: she could have gone without security. Actually, now that you're saying.
- 21:27Speaker 1: That, I wonder if it was like a production.
- 21:30Speaker 2: What passed me? What were the numbers on those ideas
- 21:34Speaker 2: to do?
- 21:34Speaker 1: The opera necklace was one hundred and seventy carrots and
- 21:38Speaker 1: that was four million dollars, and the diamond studs, which
- 21:42Speaker 1: were ten carrots each, totaling twenty carrots, was one point
- 21:47Speaker 1: four million.
- 21:48Speaker 2: It's just a tremendous amount of money.
- 21:50Speaker 1: And she came in that door and he's like, she's like, Hi, yeah,
- 21:54Speaker 1: I need to get this done. Like I can't. I
- 21:57Speaker 1: cannot with this. I don't want to be on camera.
- 21:59Speaker 1: I'm just like, I work at a jeweler. There's there's
- 22:01Speaker 1: no reason I should be on camera.
- 22:04Speaker 2: No, It's like why why? And they're saying this will
- 22:08Speaker 2: be good for business, but I don't believe them. And hmm,
- 22:12Speaker 2: it's just too much of a schlap and none of
- 22:15Speaker 2: this had to happen. But here we go.
- 22:17Speaker 1: There's nothing like seeing somebody come in like a fish
- 22:20Speaker 1: out of water, with an energy that doesn't match what
- 22:23Speaker 1: we're used to unreal housewives, and it sticks out like
- 22:26Speaker 1: a sore thumb, like she couldn't have had less energy
- 22:30Speaker 1: and a lot of fear, and it was like, Wow,
- 22:33Speaker 1: this is like a red flag for us, and I
- 22:36Speaker 1: just I was here for it so and.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Certainly wasn't trying to sell the product.
- 22:42Speaker 1: They don't need.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Like we never even saw it on Bronwyn.
- 22:51Speaker 1: She didn't know. We sure didn't. She must have wore
- 22:54Speaker 1: them at the original fitting from the vault.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Well, it would seemly if I was on production, I'd
- 23:01Speaker 2: be like, get that goddamn necklace on her, because how
- 23:03Speaker 2: can he even feel the full ula la sensation without
- 23:06Speaker 2: it on her body? You're right, I don't know. That
- 23:09Speaker 2: seemed like a missed opportunity, but you know, or.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Put it on the dog because maybe that's more important
- 23:13Speaker 1: for their anniversary. I'm not sure. But when I saw
- 23:16Speaker 1: that photo pop up of like the side by side
- 23:18Speaker 1: of Charlie's and then one of her dogs with that on,
- 23:22Speaker 1: First of all, the dog was serving face more than Charlie's.
- 23:25Speaker 1: I gotta say that dog was wearing it, and her
- 23:28Speaker 1: expression in the back, which was like look in my life,
- 23:31Speaker 1: Like it was like, oh my god, your life, this
- 23:35Speaker 1: is your life.
- 23:36Speaker 2: And for some reason it wasn't until I think because
- 23:40Speaker 2: her house is so chaotic. She has piles of shit
- 23:43Speaker 2: in the background, the dog shit everywhere. It's unfinished. I
- 23:48Speaker 2: haven't really been steeped in her money. This episode got real.
- 23:54Speaker 2: It's between the private jet, the house, and the jeweler
- 23:58Speaker 2: and the reluctant jeweler. I'm like, reluctant jeweler.
- 24:03Speaker 1: You're right, we saw the Yes, we saw the private jet.
- 24:07Speaker 1: We saw Todd. Todd talking about these people, which means
- 24:13Speaker 1: that he sees himself at a level that anyone outside
- 24:18Speaker 1: of him and Bronwyn are those people? Anyone right out
- 24:24Speaker 1: even just disregarding race, religion, geological at anything, They're all
- 24:30Speaker 1: just those people.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Now, I'm one thing I was thinking about because these
- 24:35Speaker 2: people were really was really doing a numb brought me,
- 24:38Speaker 2: you know.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I wonder is he talking about houswives trash?
- 24:45Speaker 2: What? I didn't know? I mean it was personal to us,
- 24:49Speaker 2: you know, because we are these we are these people.
- 24:53Speaker 1: We are we are totally.
- 24:56Speaker 2: If they're these people, were these.
- 24:57Speaker 1: People A yes, have a data that, yeah, but where
- 25:02Speaker 1: are these people? We're these people facts?
- 25:06Speaker 2: But then I'm like, bron Wu and Lisa have known
- 25:09Speaker 2: each other for a while, so are these people just
- 25:13Speaker 2: like that couple? That rubbed you the wrong way, you know, like,
- 25:17Speaker 2: does Todd have institutional knowledge as Bethany Frankl would say
- 25:21Speaker 2: about that this couple that is making him call them
- 25:26Speaker 2: these people?
- 25:28Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, like any couple that's going to behave poorly
- 25:34Speaker 1: in his eyes, are these people.
- 25:36Speaker 2: And maybe he has had Lisa and you know, has
- 25:40Speaker 2: experienced with what's her spacing on her man's name, Lisa
- 25:44Speaker 2: and John John he's a cee.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Oh you know.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I also had the realization that like Lisa and John
- 25:56Speaker 2: are very similar.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, how so.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Like just when he sat down to have that one
- 26:04Speaker 2: on one, he really was so focused on those smashed
- 26:08Speaker 2: potatoes or whatever those potatoes were as an appetizer.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:13Speaker 2: I mean I think that like fast food and like
- 26:16Speaker 2: junk food is their love language, and they just he
- 26:20Speaker 2: doesn't have like they both have about as much going
- 26:23Speaker 2: on emotionally. You know, they're just at the same level
- 26:28Speaker 2: in terms of I think depth, you know, I don't know.
- 26:33Speaker 2: I just was like, they're they're the same.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Same same interesting. I really see them as very different
- 26:40Speaker 1: in the sense that she's like always spinning and spinning
- 26:43Speaker 1: and spinning, and he's like, huh, you know, he's just
- 26:46Speaker 1: like right there, but I know exactly what you're saying
- 26:49Speaker 1: that there is like, uh, he has one kind of
- 26:53Speaker 1: energy level where she has multiple, and when she's on
- 26:56Speaker 1: the same level as him, it is the same. It's
- 26:59Speaker 1: exactly to say. But he doesn't waiver from that, and
- 27:02Speaker 1: yet she really does, which is why he feels like
- 27:06Speaker 1: he can kind of like, you know, what's the word
- 27:09Speaker 1: I'm looking for, corral her in times when he feels
- 27:14Speaker 1: like she needs to be but and she does yes.
- 27:19Speaker 1: And so getting back to that point when we were
- 27:22Speaker 1: at the pool pond, it seemed to me that Bronwyn
- 27:27Speaker 1: kind of started it in the sense that it was
- 27:29Speaker 1: escalated to a point to which it turned into like
- 27:33Speaker 1: the yelling. She was really going hard at Lisa to
- 27:39Speaker 1: begin with, it felt like, and then she walked away.
- 27:43Speaker 1: So that to me was like she escalated it, which
- 27:46Speaker 1: may have provoked Lisa to have called Heather. And so
- 27:49Speaker 1: that's kind of why I'm holding Bronwyn a little bit
- 27:52Speaker 1: her feet to the fire because I kind of feel like, well,
- 27:55Speaker 1: I understand you are very hurt by Lisa, but it
- 27:58Speaker 1: seems like you really kicked up a lot of dust
- 28:01Speaker 1: dust that I appreciate in the house Wives World because
- 28:04Speaker 1: it was phenomenal and Lisa couldn't get a word in edgewise,
- 28:08Speaker 1: But she has to answered. If Lisa is gonna have
- 28:12Speaker 1: to answer to Todd, then Bronwood should have to answer
- 28:15Speaker 1: to Todd too, Like I think Bronwin in many ways,
- 28:18Speaker 1: it's like if she doesn't pipe down, then she should leave.
- 28:22Speaker 2: First of all, I can't believe we're answering to Todd.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean?
- 28:26Speaker 1: Like, yeah, what I am answering to Todd? I at
- 28:30Speaker 1: you everyone is Whitney was like, I'm sorry, Todd. I
- 28:33Speaker 1: didn't mean that. Like she was really like, everyone's scared
- 28:37Speaker 1: of Todd at this point, including John right well.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Because you know, I mean we've watched him shut down Bronwynn.
- 28:44Speaker 2: He's like, and that's the end of the conversation. It's like, okay, Dad,
- 28:48Speaker 2: you know, right, Okay, Grandpa? It just I don't Yeah.
- 28:54Speaker 2: But but and I was happy to hear Bronwin say
- 28:57Speaker 2: this so plainly. She was like, if our friendship doesn't
- 29:02Speaker 2: garner some respect on this trip and not having you
- 29:05Speaker 2: call somebody who I am having a problem with in
- 29:08Speaker 2: my face when I go take a leak or whatever.
- 29:11Speaker 1: She take a leak, she.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Said, she said, right, which she's such a throwback. It
- 29:16Speaker 2: just made me a laugh. Take a leak. She was
- 29:20Speaker 2: like it, then, maybe me paying for She literally was like,
- 29:24Speaker 2: me paying for this extravagant trip should at least gave
- 29:27Speaker 2: me give me that respect. And I appreciated it, just
- 29:30Speaker 2: calling it out like that, like, I agree, got you
- 29:33Speaker 2: on a plane, got you in a gorgeous house, this
- 29:37Speaker 2: is on my dime. Look alive.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Yeah. And when she leaves and Heather and Lisa calls Heather,
- 29:44Speaker 1: and Heather's just delighted to hear from them. Uh, and
- 29:48Speaker 1: why you know, it's like, great, we're having a lot
- 29:50Speaker 1: of fun, we miss you, Okay, awesome. But that did
- 29:53Speaker 1: nothing for anyone. And then when Bronwyn comes back, it
- 29:57Speaker 1: is totally awkward. So I I totally I agree she
- 30:01Speaker 1: should not have done that. That was absolutely provoking, and
- 30:05Speaker 1: for her to say otherwise is ridiculous. She needs to
- 30:08Speaker 1: own up to the fact that, like Lisa does messy stuff.
- 30:12Speaker 1: And but at this and you know, and and and
- 30:14Speaker 1: later on, I do understand that Lisa and Heather and
- 30:19Speaker 1: Meredith for that matter, have all been housewives from the jump.
- 30:23Speaker 1: On this show, that's yeah, so what do we got? Yeah,
- 30:28Speaker 1: that's that's where it's like, bron when I think Lisa
- 30:32Speaker 1: is like know your place in a way, like but.
- 30:36Speaker 2: No, no, it's hard because it's a free fall. Is
- 30:40Speaker 2: like Brahmans is running this shit.
- 30:43Speaker 1: But you're right, and she's she's winning, winning.
- 30:48Speaker 2: It's pretty and I would almost argue that she's doing
- 30:53Speaker 2: it and it's not sweaty, you know, it's not like
- 30:57Speaker 2: I feel particularly manipulated by her. In fact, when she
- 31:01Speaker 2: brought Heather over, my feeling was that she did want
- 31:05Speaker 2: to have a conversation that was productive to get Heather
- 31:08Speaker 2: on the trip. But the second Heather realized that she
- 31:12Speaker 2: was gonna.
- 31:12Speaker 1: That she was running it, she was just yeah, she
- 31:17Speaker 1: was just like.
- 31:19Speaker 2: She spun out.
- 31:20Speaker 1: She did. She couldn't handle a new housewife coming in
- 31:23Speaker 1: and you know, running running Heather's off the trip.
- 31:29Speaker 2: That's pretty crazy.
- 31:32Speaker 1: It's yeah, yeah, it's like the new girl bumped the head,
- 31:37Speaker 1: bitch and charge. And yet Angie has the middle snowflake
- 31:41Speaker 1: at least in some of the graphics that we're seeing,
- 31:43Speaker 1: when it really at this point should be either Lisa
- 31:46Speaker 1: or braun Win. So I don't know what the rest
- 31:49Speaker 1: of the season has to off what.
- 31:50Speaker 2: I'm saying, there must be because I can't understand either.
- 31:54Speaker 2: It's like Angie's doing She's perfectly fine, but I don't
- 31:59Speaker 2: see her is like, you know, running the game. So
- 32:04Speaker 2: she must there must be something pretty spectacular that happens
- 32:07Speaker 2: with Angie later in the season. I have to imagine,
- 32:11Speaker 2: you know.
- 32:11Speaker 1: I was watching the after Show and Brittany and Lisa
- 32:16Speaker 1: are in like they're together doing their interviews. Do you
- 32:19Speaker 1: remember Brittani? Do you remember her? Oh? Yeah, yeah, yeah, Okay,
- 32:23Speaker 1: it's been a way since we've seen her.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Yeah, by the.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Way, yes, okay, but well so she was talking with
- 32:29Speaker 1: Lisa and Brittany are in this their interviews together in
- 32:32Speaker 1: the after show, And when they showed this scene, Brittani
- 32:36Speaker 1: was like, I was wondering where my FaceTime call was.
- 32:38Speaker 1: It's like, uh, you're not you're not getting one. You're
- 32:41Speaker 1: not on the trip and you're not getting a call.
- 32:43Speaker 1: But it was hilarious that she was like where what
- 32:45Speaker 1: about me? So what was going around? And I sent
- 32:48Speaker 1: we sent this to the drama Darling thread, which was
- 32:52Speaker 1: someone found footage of Brittani singing like she's an incredible singer.
- 32:57Speaker 1: And she's been in a lot of musical productions and
- 33:00Speaker 1: she just is great. So just putting it, putting that
- 33:02Speaker 1: out there.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Well, I did Pink Shade with Mary Payne and she
- 33:08Speaker 2: shared that uh Andy's co host on Radio Andy John
- 33:13Speaker 2: Hillo Hill, Yes, performed with her on Broadway and like
- 33:18Speaker 2: they had to make out they were understudies and they
- 33:22Speaker 2: made out a million times because of whatever show they did.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, so he did.
- 33:27Speaker 2: That's really weird for him to watch her on the show.
- 33:30Speaker 2: He's like, this is so weird.
- 33:32Speaker 1: She's got to be completely different. That's wild.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Isn't that wild?
- 33:37Speaker 1: Yes, we have not had that kind of a crossover
- 33:40Speaker 1: ever before. That's fascinating.
- 33:43Speaker 2: I know.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Oh my god, John Hill. I love John Hills.
- 33:48Speaker 2: I didn't know he was. I don't know anything about him,
- 33:52Speaker 2: so I know, and I know he had a one
- 33:56Speaker 2: man show. I know he currently does like he runs
- 33:59Speaker 2: around with a one man show.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Correct, Yes, but he had like, yeah, his background is
- 34:03Speaker 1: very much musical theater and stuff like that. So yes,
- 34:06Speaker 1: he's yeah, you was in it, in it to win it.
- 34:09Speaker 1: And to think that him and Brittani have made out,
- 34:13Speaker 1: Oh my god, this is amazing. I'm so happy to
- 34:15Speaker 1: be here.
- 34:16Speaker 2: This is great, just happy to be participating. Well you
- 34:21Speaker 2: know what, Amy, sorry, no, yeah, go ahead, no, no,
- 34:25Speaker 2: just when you just Brittani is bringing this up for
- 34:29Speaker 2: me is like, yeah, you didn't get a call, Brittany
- 34:32Speaker 2: because you're just like falling apart over a guy like
- 34:37Speaker 2: you're seventeen years old.
- 34:39Speaker 1: You know, yeah, we stopped.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Growing, we're in an arrested development. But to not give
- 34:47Speaker 2: Heather like the it's just sort of really landing on me.
- 34:51Speaker 2: It's like Heather, I mean, Lisa could have said, listen, honey,
- 34:57Speaker 2: Heather is an og babe and you haven't included her,
- 35:01Speaker 2: which is your prerogative, but we are going to touch
- 35:04Speaker 2: down with her out of respect for her position in
- 35:06Speaker 2: this group.
- 35:08Speaker 1: But you know, and she could she should have said,
- 35:10Speaker 1: you know, maybe we'll do that out of the room
- 35:13Speaker 1: when you're not around or you're not going to be
- 35:15Speaker 1: walking back. But she chose to do it at that time,
- 35:18Speaker 1: and it seems to me like it was intentional, do you.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Think, Yeah, but not malicious. I mean it's also like
- 35:28Speaker 2: I guess I'm also like, wow, Bronwin, you can't have
- 35:30Speaker 2: them say.
- 35:31Speaker 1: It all right? Yeah, yeah, I'm kind of back and
- 35:34Speaker 1: forth with that too chilling.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Because nothing ps nothing has happened between Heather and Bronwin
- 35:42Speaker 2: other than they are both flexing on each other and
- 35:49Speaker 2: calling each other out for just general behavior. But it's
- 35:53Speaker 2: not like Heather did anything to her or she did
- 35:57Speaker 2: anything to Heather.
- 35:58Speaker 1: That's the vibe I get. It's all so surface level
- 36:02Speaker 1: and now it's being built up and up and up,
- 36:05Speaker 1: and really at the bottom layer, it's just like rice paper. Meanwhile,
- 36:09Speaker 1: it's kind of like bron Winn's pack of dogs. She's
- 36:12Speaker 1: trying to piss everywhere, you know, trying to take a
- 36:14Speaker 1: leak everywhere to somewhat get you know, her message across
- 36:19Speaker 1: that she's here, and babe, you're here. We see it,
- 36:22Speaker 1: we believe me, we love it. Now, before we continue
- 36:25Speaker 1: talking about this pool scene, let me take a quick

- 38:27Speaker 1: code drama fifteen. I will put it in my podcast notes.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Let getting dressed be one less thing to worry about.
- 38:34Speaker 1: And we are back talking the Real Housewives of Salt
- 38:37Speaker 1: Lake City. And yeah, so we kind of still landed.
- 38:44Speaker 1: We're still landing here right now at the pool. But
- 38:47Speaker 1: did you catch what Bronwinn said when merediths like, we
- 38:50Speaker 1: just mess her when they called her, and bron Win's like,
- 38:53Speaker 1: I'm sad she isn't here without a relationship. And I'm like, wait,
- 38:57Speaker 1: whoa what now? Did that seem a little shit? Because
- 39:00Speaker 1: I did think about it, like Brittani's not there because
- 39:04Speaker 1: she and she doesn't have a guy, and Heather's not
- 39:07Speaker 1: there and she's not in a relationship. This is very
- 39:08Speaker 1: much a couple's trip, and part of me thinks that
- 39:12Speaker 1: Todd was like, we're only doing couples. I don't know,
- 39:15Speaker 1: I'm blaming Todd.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Yeah, no, Amy, I mean I didn't even like think
- 39:22Speaker 2: about the fact that it was a couple's trip.
- 39:24Speaker 1: But she didn't say that. Well, okay, I didn't either,
- 39:28Speaker 1: but she said I'm sad she isn't here, and then
- 39:32Speaker 1: she said something about without a relationship that was brought in,
- 39:35Speaker 1: So that's somehow in the background of this, which seems
- 39:39Speaker 1: to me like that might be a little bit of
- 39:41Speaker 1: an issue later on if anyone picks up on that.
- 39:43Speaker 1: So if anyone's smart, they'll take that ball and they'll
- 39:46Speaker 1: run back to Heather and say she is like relationship
- 39:52Speaker 1: slamming you shaming thank you.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Well, and that would be like possibly, you know, Bronwinn
- 39:59Speaker 2: would have Sai barred with Mary to be like, listen,
- 40:02Speaker 2: this is going to be a couple's trip. I don't
- 40:05Speaker 2: know if that's comfortable for you. And she was like
- 40:07Speaker 2: it's not. She's like okay, great, and you probably don't
- 40:10Speaker 2: want to go on a trip anyway and always, and
- 40:13Speaker 2: so she was just like, well, then just say you
- 40:17Speaker 2: need to be with your son for the weekend, do
- 40:19Speaker 2: you know what I mean?
- 40:20Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a great point.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Yeah, her son lives with her.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Yeah, why didn't marry Mary went to Palm Springs last
- 40:29Speaker 1: time and didn't leave the shuttle. You know, she never
- 40:33Speaker 1: left that sprinter van. She did not want to. So
- 40:37Speaker 1: perhaps the producers were like, Mary, we know how you
- 40:40Speaker 1: get in warm weather, so we're not going to bring
- 40:43Speaker 1: you there.
- 40:45Speaker 2: No. I think I know it. Really, I do think
- 40:48Speaker 2: it's it's couples related. I really am thinking that now,
- 40:52Speaker 2: because what are the odds that the three girls who
- 40:54Speaker 2: are not in a current relationship are not there? That'sn't
- 40:57Speaker 2: that's crazy.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Right, It's more than a coincidence. Yeah, So what Bronwyn
- 41:04Speaker 1: has such an issue with Lisa? And I would like
- 41:07Speaker 1: to look at Lisa's responsibility in this because like the
- 41:11Speaker 1: broad strokes of it is that Bronwin is essentially calling
- 41:15Speaker 1: her out and saying like, well, Lisa, when someone talks
- 41:20Speaker 1: bad about you, I don't just sit there, I listen,
- 41:25Speaker 1: I defend you, and I come and I check on you,
- 41:27Speaker 1: but you don't do the same for me in the
- 41:30Speaker 1: case of Heather, when you never checked on me about
- 41:33Speaker 1: Heather and now you're listening to her side and you're
- 41:36Speaker 1: just listening to her, and you never But you also
- 41:39Speaker 1: never checked on me about another thing that happened with Brittany.
- 41:43Speaker 1: You know, you never checked on me about that, But
- 41:45Speaker 1: I check on you, and it's a double standard. And
- 41:50Speaker 1: I'm supposed to work it out but you don't have to,
- 41:53Speaker 1: and I'm supposed to check on you. And then she
- 41:56Speaker 1: walks away saying I better ride your dick like it's
- 41:59Speaker 1: my job, which was an unexpected thing to hear. So
- 42:04Speaker 1: do you think Lisa has a double standard with her friendship?
- 42:08Speaker 2: Of course, of course she does. But that's just because
- 42:11Speaker 2: she's a limited person, you know, she doesn't. Yeah, it
- 42:15Speaker 2: wouldn't occur to her to check in. That's not her area,
- 42:19Speaker 2: you know. And if you're gonna deal with Lisa and
- 42:21Speaker 2: be her friend, you should know that, you know.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not where she thrives others. It's surprising that
- 42:31Speaker 1: ron Win doesn't know this about her, But she's yet
- 42:33Speaker 1: never been in this situation with these housewives, so it's
- 42:35Speaker 1: a different game. I think maybe is Bronwyn kind of
- 42:39Speaker 1: sitting here going you brought me on this show, now,
- 42:42Speaker 1: don't just throw me to the fresh Wolves and you know,
- 42:45Speaker 1: like have my back here, don't just like leave me
- 42:48Speaker 1: for dead. And other new housewives coming in might do
- 42:53Speaker 1: that and be fine with it and like hope that
- 42:56Speaker 1: Lisa catches up with them later and that this is
- 42:59Speaker 1: part of the game, but Bronwyn is not having it,
- 43:01Speaker 1: and she's taking her to task.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Well yeah, like and you would be a perfect example
- 43:05Speaker 2: of that.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Oh yes, yes, yes.
- 43:09Speaker 2: And ultimately Bronwyn has the money and the personality to
- 43:14Speaker 2: stand on her own.
- 43:16Speaker 1: M damn. It's so intense. So when she runs off
- 43:25Speaker 1: and Lisa's like upset, then Todd goes inside and says
- 43:31Speaker 1: to her, I told you I wasn't going to deal
- 43:34Speaker 1: with these deal with this with these people, specifically her,
- 43:39Speaker 1: either I would leave or they would leave. Tell John
- 43:42Speaker 1: and Lisa they can leave. We'll give them some money,
- 43:46Speaker 1: We'll get them a car. It is, And then he
- 43:51Speaker 1: goes and talks to John and says, Lisa's got to
- 43:55Speaker 1: stop or you guys gotta go. And John was like, okay,
- 44:00Speaker 1: I'll go talk to Lisa, which I was pretty shocked
- 44:03Speaker 1: that he did that. And he tells her, if you
- 44:06Speaker 1: can't like settle this, then we have to leave.
- 44:09Speaker 2: She was like.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Petting her hair.
- 44:14Speaker 2: She was just sort of frozen, petting her hair. I
- 44:19Speaker 2: couldn't tell what she felt about it. She was just
- 44:22Speaker 2: I think she was processing it stunned. It's pretty stunning,
- 44:27Speaker 2: it is. That's an ultimatum. I would be so gone.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Oh my god, would I be gone? You know.
- 44:34Speaker 1: In the after show, Bronwin said, if someone came up
- 44:38Speaker 1: to Todd and said, if your wife can't like calm down,
- 44:40Speaker 1: then you have to leave, she said, he would be
- 44:43Speaker 1: packing my bags for me and we'd be out of there.
- 44:46Speaker 1: So it's, you know, it's a lose lose situation because
- 44:49Speaker 1: here Bronwin's like, you know, having your husband tell them
- 44:52Speaker 1: to leave, and then yeah, she's saying, if I was
- 44:56Speaker 1: told to be leaving, we would just leave. Like It's
- 44:59Speaker 1: just it's interesting to see a little contradiction in Bronwin.
- 45:04Speaker 1: I appreciate it because it's very housewifey, but it is
- 45:07Speaker 1: it's harsh, you know, I gotta say for him to
- 45:10Speaker 1: go and say that, like you gotta leave. Also, Lisa
- 45:14Speaker 1: in her after show interview, said something along the lines
- 45:17Speaker 1: of like, I can't be somewhere without arguing do you
- 45:20Speaker 1: know me? You know something like that? And does it?
- 45:23Speaker 1: Wasn't he prepped on this trip? It's a housewives trip.
- 45:27Speaker 2: It's hard to say because what does that mean to him?
- 45:30Speaker 1: You know?
- 45:31Speaker 2: I think the other it may mean something, it may
- 45:34Speaker 2: mean nothing. I can't tell, but I will say the
- 45:39Speaker 2: other element here is that he is truly an elder.
- 45:46Speaker 2: He's very senior to all of them, so he flew
- 45:50Speaker 2: them out on a private jet. This is a beautiful
- 45:52Speaker 2: house he and he's an older person.
- 45:58Speaker 1: I mean, he just is Okay, we get it.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Well, I just have to say it now.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Drilling down on it. It's making me laugh.
- 46:08Speaker 2: No, because you know, when someone so senior to you
- 46:14Speaker 2: is giving speaking to you this way and they've they've
- 46:17Speaker 2: set the stage and they've pooted the bill, it's like
- 46:21Speaker 2: it is different than a peer.
- 46:24Speaker 1: You're right, You're right, yeah, Which is why John you're saying,
- 46:28Speaker 1: which is why he was like, Okay, I'll deal with
- 46:30Speaker 1: this because you're older than me. I need to respect
- 46:32Speaker 1: my elders. And I'm Mormon.
- 46:34Speaker 2: Well, I think that's an element here. I'm not saying
- 46:37Speaker 2: it's the whole story. Also, he has to check in
- 46:39Speaker 2: a little bit with her to see if she wants
- 46:41Speaker 2: to go. This is he's not a housewife, you know,
- 46:45Speaker 2: right right, right, right right?
- 46:47Speaker 1: This is her job. Yeah, well, I'm just curious if
- 46:51Speaker 1: they're going to stay or go? Are they going to go?
- 46:54Speaker 2: Wow? I uh don't know how much more hair petting
- 46:58Speaker 2: we're going to get at the top of the next
- 47:00Speaker 2: episode before we learn. It feels to me if this
- 47:08Speaker 2: happened and I knew I was a participant in this
- 47:11Speaker 2: little argument and it's over a FaceTime call to another
- 47:14Speaker 2: castmate who is an og.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Right, put some respect on that.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I it would be someone kicking me off a
- 47:26Speaker 2: trip would be a friendship ender for me. I would
- 47:29Speaker 2: never cover from.
- 47:31Speaker 1: That, never, never, ever, Eva.
- 47:35Speaker 2: And quite frankly, I would pull Todd to the side
- 47:38Speaker 2: and have a conversation with him about his manners.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you for that. Okay, you know it shouldn't
- 47:46Speaker 1: be you know, with the men are really starting to
- 47:49Speaker 1: get quite involved in this season, and it's very much
- 47:52Speaker 1: looking a little bit like Jersey in some ways. Yeah,
- 47:56Speaker 1: and I did not understand the Sean and Meredith argument
- 48:00Speaker 1: until I watched the after show. So if you don't
- 48:03Speaker 1: understand that, would you like me to explain it?
- 48:07Speaker 2: Yes?
- 48:07Speaker 1: Okay, So apparently you know, on this episode we learned
- 48:12Speaker 1: that Sean said that Meredith was using Brooks as a
- 48:16Speaker 1: pawn to deflect from what was happening with the Well,
- 48:21Speaker 1: that's all we kind of heard. And so from the
- 48:25Speaker 1: after show, what I learned is that Meredith made a
- 48:28Speaker 1: TikTok in response to the room the Romans and the
- 48:34Speaker 1: Hamspun and Sean about the alleged gay rumors that he
- 48:39Speaker 1: was gay. Okay, so remember that from last season, and
- 48:44Speaker 1: that was the rumor, and so in response to that,
- 48:48Speaker 1: she said, I would never make fun of someone's sexuality
- 48:51Speaker 1: because my son is gay. So he took that as
- 48:57Speaker 1: she was calling him gay in a way. And the
- 49:00Speaker 1: reason why that got blown up is because Sean was
- 49:03Speaker 1: on a podcast in which the podcast host sort of
- 49:07Speaker 1: like provoked that theory and made it seem like she
- 49:12Speaker 1: was being shady in her TikTok, and so that's why.
- 49:17Speaker 1: So on that podcast, he said that Meredith was using
- 49:19Speaker 1: Brooks as a pawn to deflect. So that's how that
- 49:22Speaker 1: all happened. It was all off camera, TikTok and podcast.
- 49:26Speaker 1: So it was a little annoying that we had to
- 49:28Speaker 1: kind of sit through that and have to follow that
- 49:31Speaker 1: story and figure it out. But that's what that's all about.
- 49:33Speaker 1: But like he's involved, you know.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Yeah, we just sort of had to let it wash
- 49:37Speaker 2: over us and have radical acceptance that it meant something.
- 49:41Speaker 2: You know.
- 49:43Speaker 1: You know what I don't have radical acceptance over is
- 49:47Speaker 1: that Lisa doesn't like the food in Italy because it's
- 49:51Speaker 1: too fresh fresh woll.
- 49:56Speaker 2: This is the greatest line of my life on these series,
- 49:59Speaker 2: Like because the truth of it is when she says
- 50:04Speaker 2: that she needs like yeah, she needs preservatives and us
- 50:12Speaker 2: she needs a little bit of like you know, if
- 50:15Speaker 2: there's a dash of formaldehyde, Like she doesn't want it
- 50:20Speaker 2: to be farmed to table. That's god miserable for her.
- 50:24Speaker 2: It is too fresh, you know what I mean, Like
- 50:26Speaker 2: it really is is like too many like you know, nutrients,
- 50:30Speaker 2: and she feels her body feels a little too alive
- 50:34Speaker 2: about it.
- 50:34Speaker 1: They were they would her body would reject the freshness,
- 50:39Speaker 1: like the nutrients going in. They wouldn't. They would see
- 50:41Speaker 1: it as an intruder and they would attack. It would
- 50:45Speaker 1: be like an autoimmune problem. She would have with food totally.
- 50:50Speaker 2: And I'm sure it would be some sort of real
- 50:53Speaker 2: blowout in the bathroom Marina, because that food would be
- 51:00Speaker 2: cutting so deeply through all of like the preserved taco
- 51:05Speaker 2: about walls. The walls would be like pulled off by
- 51:10Speaker 2: like the freshness and yeah.
- 51:13Speaker 1: It for her, one vine ripened tomato would just sear
- 51:19Speaker 1: off the enamel, the fucking like diet coke and yes,
- 51:27Speaker 1: stone walls pepper.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's really not good for her to have that.
- 51:36Speaker 2: It's it isn't good. It does like mess up the ecosystem.
- 51:41Speaker 1: M Yeah, oh my god, I can't. That was just
- 51:44Speaker 1: that's the greatest. Ooh. I loved when Bronwyn did her
- 51:48Speaker 1: private jet flight attendant Housewives announcement bit confessional, very cute.
- 51:54Speaker 1: I loved it. And then we have Soath and Maredath
- 51:58Speaker 1: and how he's got to go back to Columbus like
- 52:01Speaker 1: tomorrow and she's just throwing this on him. She's throwing
- 52:04Speaker 1: this on her now and she's like, this doesn't at up.
- 52:08Speaker 2: So what does that mean?
- 52:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean immediately I'm like, so he's having an affair.
- 52:14Speaker 1: I mean, what are we supposed to think? It doesn't
- 52:16Speaker 1: own the.
- 52:16Speaker 2: Only thing I can think, the only thing.
- 52:19Speaker 1: But she did say in the after show that they're
- 52:20Speaker 1: better now, so I don't know, it's like old marriage
- 52:23Speaker 1: issues that are that's coming up again, and you know
- 52:27Speaker 1: that's that's that? Do you have? Is there anything else
- 52:30Speaker 1: that we missed so far before we move on to
- 52:33Speaker 1: Golden Batch?
- 52:35Speaker 2: I mean, the only other thing that made me laugh
- 52:38Speaker 2: was Seth marching around looking for a bathtub, like fearfully,
- 52:42Speaker 2: like literally trying to hunt down a bathtub was a
- 52:47Speaker 2: major lol.
- 52:50Speaker 1: Knowing that he was going to be leaving tomorrow and
- 52:53Speaker 1: he's like, and I can't leave her without a tub.
- 52:57Speaker 1: That is what it felt like.
- 52:59Speaker 2: It's like this tub either saves his life or like
- 53:02Speaker 2: the marriage is destroyed. You know, the stakes were so high.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Oh wow, yes, great, well, Lisa, I am contracted to Seth.
- 53:15Speaker 2: That's over to the side.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah, great, I love it. That's great.
- 53:18Speaker 2: I find him attractive.
- 53:19Speaker 1: He is attractive, and you know what, surprisingly I met
- 53:22Speaker 1: him in person and he is tall. He's taller than
- 53:25Speaker 1: you'd think he's tall, which is hotter, which is hotter.
- 53:29Speaker 2: They are a sexy couple, you know, they just are.
- 53:32Speaker 1: But yeah, okay, so I just want to mention that
- 53:36Speaker 1: on the after show, Lisa is talking about building a
- 53:39Speaker 1: house in Salt Lake City, you know, or somewhere in
- 53:42Speaker 1: the vicinity of it, and she's like, I'm gonna have
- 53:47Speaker 1: a spray tan room where you can just wash down
- 53:50Speaker 1: the walls.
- 53:52Speaker 2: She is too much. She is synthetic, truly, truly, truly,
- 53:59Speaker 2: truly flammable, a flammable woman.
- 54:02Speaker 1: I've never seen a flammable housewife before, but yeah, I
- 54:05Speaker 1: love it.
- 54:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Oh and so I've also broadstrokes. Whitney and Bronwyn are
- 54:10Speaker 1: really connecting, if you'll notice, like they're teaming up and
- 54:14Speaker 1: they're in their interviews together in the after show, so
- 54:16Speaker 1: it's like Lisa's with Britney, Bronwynn is with Whitney.
- 54:22Speaker 2: By the way, Lisa and Brittany, I don't get.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I don't either. Maybe it's just for the after show,
- 54:27Speaker 1: but on the show and on the after show, it
- 54:30Speaker 1: seems to me like Bronwyn and Whitney are really creating
- 54:33Speaker 1: something here, don't you think.
- 54:34Speaker 2: I kind of do, But it's like, I don't know,
- 54:38Speaker 2: it doesn't make sense to me.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Well, Whitney's just thrilled that Bronwyn is just ripping Heather
- 54:43Speaker 1: a new one, ripping Lisa a new one. That's what
- 54:46Speaker 1: Whitney likes about it. So she's like, I'm with you.
- 54:49Speaker 2: Oh, I understand why Whitney's with Bronwyn. I don't like
- 54:54Speaker 2: Bronwyn should be with Heather, Bronwen should which should be
- 54:56Speaker 2: with Lisa.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree, Yeah, I don't like that. It's splitting
- 55:01Speaker 1: off this way. It's not a good ally ship, especially
- 55:05Speaker 1: because Whitney is not we all know from the blogs
- 55:08Speaker 1: and all that other shit, like she's stirring it up
- 55:11Speaker 1: and not a good combination. But we will. We'll leave
- 55:17Speaker 1: it there for now, shall we.
- 55:19Speaker 2: Let's go, Let's make our way to the a salve
- 55:22Speaker 2: of a show, a show where if you were irritated
- 55:28Speaker 2: with white men, you know in general, or just men
- 55:31Speaker 2: in general. I'm saying white men, but really just men.
- 55:37Speaker 2: This was the night for them to shine, I'll tell
- 55:40Speaker 2: you that much. Last night having them, I was like, well,
- 55:45Speaker 2: you guys, as you needed this, you know, you really
- 55:48Speaker 2: needed this.
- 55:49Speaker 1: They certainly did, and yeah they shout up Golden Bachelorette.
- 55:59Speaker 1: I don't even know. Wa wait, what episode was this?
- 56:01Speaker 1: Let me see if I wrote it down, don't know
- 56:04Speaker 1: whatever it's next week is the finale, that's all.
- 56:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean figure it out, you know, figure it out.
- 56:12Speaker 2: You know.
- 56:14Speaker 1: Well, I got a great couple of texts from you
- 56:17Speaker 1: last night giving me heads up on a couple of things,
- 56:21Speaker 1: one which was just thrilling to hear share with the Darlings.
- 56:25Speaker 2: The first one was that that Charles had dyed his
- 56:29Speaker 2: hair jet black.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Wow, and props from Jesse himself when he went up
- 56:38Speaker 1: there for his little one on one and Jesse was like,
- 56:42Speaker 1: just when I thought you couldn't get more handsome, And
- 56:45Speaker 1: I was like, Jesse, you finally got me. You wrote
- 56:51Speaker 1: me in at this episode.
- 56:54Speaker 2: Listen, you and I have been tough on Jesse. We
- 56:56Speaker 2: will continue to be sure.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Buy that we collectively.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Absolutely now Jesse does come alive with the Goldens in
- 57:08Speaker 2: these like tellos, tell alls and finales. I think he
- 57:13Speaker 2: has such a love for the Goldens that this is
- 57:16Speaker 2: where he shines, and so couldus.
- 57:20Speaker 1: Jesse.
- 57:20Speaker 2: We we allow you to proceed for the foreseeable future,
- 57:25Speaker 2: but we also do not think you're the best person
- 57:28Speaker 2: for this job, and it takes a lot for us
- 57:30Speaker 2: to give it up. But here you go, and we're
- 57:33Speaker 2: going to.
- 57:33Speaker 1: Be watching it yes, yes, so good. You know, good job,
- 57:37Speaker 1: good job with him. Yes, Greg was inspired to treat
- 57:43Speaker 1: his sleep apnea after he left the mansion. And these
- 57:50Speaker 1: are the things we're getting.
- 57:51Speaker 2: These they are though like and to have the crowd
- 57:54Speaker 2: give like a huge round of applause, it's just let
- 57:59Speaker 2: me off, let's go, Joe, Craig you good eye like.
- 58:03Speaker 2: It's just these are the things that are so good.
- 58:07Speaker 1: When when Greg no, not Greg, Sorry, that wasn't Greg.
- 58:11Speaker 1: When I'm sorry Mark no? Who? Oh god, I'm sorry
- 58:17Speaker 1: who said they had cancer? Give me who had cancer?
- 58:20Speaker 2: Oh he wasn't someone we knew that. Well, I will
- 58:25Speaker 2: have to see if I can find the pick.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Oh, Michael. Michael was diagnosed with cancer right before the
- 58:32Speaker 1: show began, and he decided to do the show. And
- 58:37Speaker 1: now he announced that he'll be okay, and they caught
- 58:40Speaker 1: it early. And on that ABC Jesse announced that ABC
- 58:44Speaker 1: is matching donations to stand Up to cancer. Wow. Cool,
- 58:49Speaker 1: extremely cool.
- 58:51Speaker 2: You do get this sense that that everybody involved in
- 58:56Speaker 2: production just freaking respects these people, it is I feel it.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I do too. I think that they put respect
- 59:08Speaker 1: on their names. I think that they're like poised to
- 59:13Speaker 1: and by poised not talking about the adult diaper. They're
- 59:20Speaker 1: poised to like support them, rally for them, raise money
- 59:26Speaker 1: for them. We have a gay men's chorus of El
- 59:31Speaker 1: Los Angeles. They're singing Mansion Men. That is supportive in
- 59:36Speaker 1: and of itself of the LGBTQ plus community. Having them
- 59:40Speaker 1: having this chorus be so visible, high visibility on a
- 59:45Speaker 1: network show. And I love that. I love that they're
- 59:49Speaker 1: supporting that. Didn't even think twice about it, you know,
- 59:52Speaker 1: it's like that's what we do. They love them, they
- 59:55Speaker 1: love them.
- 59:56Speaker 2: Yeah, you have to remember that these people have been
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: with this series for twenty years. So I think they're refreshed.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: I think they're revived, you know, to care about like
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: twenty six year olds and their one cracket love for
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: twenty years is training and so and they have to
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: be so they have to manipulate them, they have to
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: do a lot of things that they're not of the Lord,
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: you know, so this is right. They can just genuinely
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: enjoy this process field they're doing some good, like this
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: is fellowship work, this is you know, like.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's knocking on doors, you know, it's sharing the
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: love of Jesus, you know, with everybody so to speak. Correct,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: it's it's it's Jesus Christ, the Latter day Saints. Yeah,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: like adjacent it is.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: It's like they and they deserve it. They do deserve
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: to like have this special special series and just lean.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: In fully God. You know, Charles L looked, looked amazing,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: And when he was up there during his interview, someone
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: from the audience just pops up and is like, Charles L.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: I speak for the Bachelor Nation, and we want you
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: to be the next Golden Bachelor. It's just like unhinged,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: which was it was set up, but still they didn't.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: I absolutely. I mean they're a very scripted show. She
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: was miked. They made it look like it wasn't but
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: they and they did a great job at that. So
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: it did look like she popped up out of nowhere,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: but she didn't. And you know, I loved it. I
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: loved every part of it. Charles L said he was
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: worried about what his daughters and his relatives would think
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: about him on this show, and they were all very supportive,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: and he is ready to date now.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: I know that we loved his dark hair. I really,
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: really really wish he had some of the gray woven
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: through it. To break it up. But that's over to
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: the side.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: Well Deanna, Okay, I understand. Yes, of course, in a
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: perfect world a little more salt and pepper would be ideal.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it was just a block of pepper and I
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: needed some su I really was like, we need and
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: you know what, I think we'll get there. I think,
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: I think because I kind of did. When I was
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: seeing him with the gray I kind of liked it better.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, when we went back into the house and stuff. Yeah,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: he looks great either way. I think in this situation,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: like with a men's tell all on the stage, it
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: really popped. But in like you're saying, it needs to
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: settle into the salt and pepper and then we really
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: going to.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Hit side because he does look younger and he can
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: put off.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yes, he boy, oh boy. He had
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: some jokes. His kickball jokes were on fire. I don't
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: remember what they were, but when he was up there,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: his jokes were fire. And what are the chances of
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: him being the Golden Bachelor?
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: I suppose decent, but I don't. I don't think he's
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: going to be, only because I think a level of
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: reserve he has I don't know if he's going to
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: be able to make out. I don't know if I
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: just I.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Just oh, that's a good point. I didn't think about that.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: But yeah, I think that he is best celebrated in
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: a sidekick kind of role, so he would be coming
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: back for special things. I mean, yes, he has to
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: to everything. Yes, Jack and all the burgers they gave
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: people burgers that he quote unquote grilled, which obviously he
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: probably he didn't do all those, but I did like that.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: He was like, ah, yeah about you know, saying those
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: things about the burgers. He was like, I would have
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: liked to have not said anything about the burgers, but
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: it's just not what I do. You know, when he
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: got into that argument or whatever, he was great. It
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: was nice to see him for a second. That's about
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: all I needed.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean the package of because we got to
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: see a little bit more which I quite frankly needed
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: of him and Charles just making their way and you know,
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: chasing out the mansion. Oh yeah, that was great because
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: I did just need all of that.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: You know, I really was unseen footage that we didn't
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: get to.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Do what it was, and I could watch more, like
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: I could watch more of Charles being you know, really
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: in love with all of the details of this home
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: and Jack getting into who got into the bathtub? Jack? Right?
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Jack did? Yeah? Yeah, He's like, oh yeah, this is
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: gonna be my room. Yeah.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: So good, It's so good.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Okay. And then now let's talk about Jonathan and how
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Mark put a sticky note in his coffee cup one
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: morning and it said something you know, very positive about him,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: and it really touched Jonathan and he cried. And then
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: we see Mark's reaction and he's crying. These men can cry.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: These men are crying.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: The note said, I mean it made me cry. I
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: am strong because Jonathan has this issue with self esteem. Yeah,
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: he's pretty vocal about and feeling that hole. And at
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: this point I'm giving it to him. You know. I
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: know we've gone like it's us. He doesn't, but at
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: this point I think it's it's real.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Okay, I'm sorry, no problem, I was. We've gone back
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: and forth on that, and I do agree like it.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: I think it's I believe it now. Took a while,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I do too.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: I think because of how good looking he is, it's
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: been hard to navigate that he really feels this out
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: of sorts. You know with women, but the note read
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: I am strong, I am interesting, I am handsome, and
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: I am enough. And he said, I don't know if
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: I'm going to be here tomorrow, but like, I want
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: you to have.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: That, and he's so glad to have met him, and
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: he's so inspired by him. And I did not see
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: that coming from Mark, certainly, I know you didn't. And
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: another thing is that we were kind of like, oh,
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: he's sort of a plant, you know, because he's coming
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: from that Bachelor Nation already, and maybe they're trying to
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: set him up to become the next new Golden Bachelor.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: And I certainly wouldn't have said he should be, but
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: after this and hearing, I'd say he would be in
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: the running just because of seeing that side of him.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: And then of course his exit was great, which we
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: both loved. When he left Jone, when Joan let him go,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: he was very uh. He showed us a vulnerable side
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: and he was very open and cool with her at
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: the end there and we were like, why are you
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: showing this to us now? You know, so Mark has
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: got some last minute points, he made some last minute scores,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: and then Jonathan, you know, he's doing great and he
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: does tell Joan like, by the way, I am seeing someone.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: I was dying to see her. I thought she was
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: going to be in the audience. I was like, can
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: we get eyes?
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: I know, but it was all their kids in the audience. Yeah,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: so many kids. And then we get oh, yeah, well
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: we already talked about Captain Kim and how the Gay
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Men's Chorus of Los Angeles sings Mansion Men, which sounded great.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: Sounded great. I again, I like the unseen footage of
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: Captain Captain Kim Kim making his way, you know, fiddling
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: with the dish pretty much like he was like fully
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: dismantling dishwatchers and you know he was, Yeah, he was
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Captain first energy and it was cute to see him
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: laughing a little bit at himself with the saw that
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: we needed. And he had body too, like when he
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: was doing that yoga.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Okay, Captain Kim truly yeah, I.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: Mean that was hidden from us, I feel m hm.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: His sense of humor did not come out at all
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: during his show until this last episode. Yeah, and I
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: was like, well, we would have liked to have seen that,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: but that's okay, totally. Pascal, his son stood up and
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: spoke to about being vulnerable and how it inspires him
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: to be vulnerable and anything else you want to say
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: about Pascal before we move on to Joan being up there.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: No, I think Pascal was nervous. That was my sense
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: of it. And uh, we didn't get much more from him,
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: Like he sort of was flat. He was not bad,
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: not good.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: M M. He wants to be friends with Joan and
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: she's like, yeah, I want to be friends with all
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: of you, and you know, I mean, it was nice
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: to see her come up. Oh my god. The text
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: that I got from you was like Joan showing titties.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: And then I saw later I saw that you edited that,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: So I'm wondering what it was about that sentence. You
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: could have edited Joan showing titties.
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: Oh it just the word titties wasn't there. I wrote,
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: like it came out different, so it was like Joan
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: showing Oh I think it was like tities, tidies. It
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: was just the wrong words. So it was the intention
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: was always titties.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Okay. I always love seeing stuff like that, so makes
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: me laugh. I'm like, I wonder what they were trying,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Like what they wrote that had to been edited because
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: I love like an auto correct.
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: Yeah, ninety eight percent of the time, it's going to
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: just be my spelling, which is atrocious, So that is
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: just going to be a fail. You know, I'm usually
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: going to clean up a fail.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Same.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean that I saw inline that outfit
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: was very polarizing for people. Really, how would you even Yeah,
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: some people just thought it was not she has everything
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: she's worn up until last night, very classy.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, sure.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: This had such a deep V. It was like one
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: of those dresses, how do you describe it? Where it's
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: sort of structured sweetheart structure and then a really deep
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: open V. So the titties are just like on their own,
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: hoisted up by that structured material. It's not a great description,
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: but I think yeah, I mean I think or secured up.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: You know, I think that people didn't like a woman
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: of her age in that deep a b That's the
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: feeling I got when I looked online.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: That's too bad. Well how did you feel personally?
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: I will say, wasn't my all time favorite outfit of hers? No.
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: With that said, I think she wanted to give these
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: men a little taste of what they missed and come
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: out looking hot and so to that end, I think
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: she was very successful.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I also think that there are people behind the scenes
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: that are pulling wardrobe and they're saying, oh, you can
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: totally pull this off, like let's do this. When else
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: are you ever going to do this? So I have
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: to give it to her. That's like, well, in this situation,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: she's not on a date. You know, she's going to
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: be sitting in one spot. You don't have to see
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: her move around and shift, which would make everybody nervous.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: So I felt like it was the right time, it
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: was the right place for her to do it, and
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: good for her. So that's my opinion on that, and
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: I'm sorry that people such a problem with it. The
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: bloopers were great, and Charles in the wig was awesome.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: When Pascal was cutting it. He's just such an amazing
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: he can do everything. You know, you're just you can
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: just watch him now. Gary, oh, I forgot to say.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Gary acknowledged to Joan, her mother, who was in the audience,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: that she's doing so much better now. So that was
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: really nice to see.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: Mom looked good, Mom looked proud. It was nice to
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: see her out there. I was surprising. It's like, oh.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's great and now we'll see you know
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: what happens. Joan seems like she's I guess in a
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: good place. It looks like it.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean. The one thing with her and Pascal
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: that did make me laugh was like, she did speak
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: to your concerns. She did put it out there like
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: that Tahitian mating ceremony, that uh mating. Yes, you know,
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: marriage promis ring ceremony was a bridge too far. She
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: was like, I was hoping I could make it up
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: on the back end.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Yes, yes, you're right. She did say that, and she's like,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: you had your mind made up and you left, which
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: was not cool.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: I think she still was. I felt she was still regretful. Yes,
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: that it went down like.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: That, I agree. I think that she wanted to kind
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: of give it to him, like you bailed despite the
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: fact that, like we had time to talk through how
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: messed up that was, and we could have laughed about
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: it and we could have found our way into enjoying
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: each other, but you got so freaked out that you
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: couldn't even It was fight or flight for you, and
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: you just left pure. So I'm glad she did speak
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: to him and put him in his place like that.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: You know, yeah, she got that off of her low
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: vy and neck chest. You know, she just got it.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Out the lowest of lows.
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: Yeah, that plunging v nat jazz of hers. She got
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: it out. No all in I'm pro the dress. Okay,
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: just so you know, yes, so.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Oh great, yes, Okay, Well next week we will await
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: and we're very excited. We will make sure we get
