- 0:07Speaker 2: Last time out, you lost the biggest fight of your career.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Now you win the biggest. How did you feel about
- 0:13Speaker 2: that performance?
- 0:14Speaker 1: Damian, congratulations.
- 0:15Speaker 3: In the last fight, you lost your biggest fight of
- 0:18Speaker 3: your career, and now you've won.
- 0:19Speaker 4: How do you feel about that? Thank you to all
- 0:24Speaker 4: the fans, first of all. I really feel amazing. It's
- 0:26Speaker 4: really an amazing feeling. This is a really amazing feeling.
- 0:33Speaker 5: Few people can experience it.
- 0:35Speaker 1: In the last fight, the.
- 0:37Speaker 5: Judges probably cheated on me a bit. I really wanted
- 0:40Speaker 5: a rematch with Agit KBL. Moreover, there were a lot
- 0:42Speaker 5: of complications that affected my form and I wasn't in shape.
- 0:45Speaker 1: But that's life.
- 0:46Speaker 6: I'm a fighter.
- 0:46Speaker 5: I have to move forward and slowly rebuild myself with
- 0:48Speaker 5: fights like this one. Thank you all once again.
- 0:58Speaker 3: I want to thank all my fans for coming out.
- 1:00Speaker 3: There were a lot of things going on in the
- 1:02Speaker 3: last camp that went against me, and there were some
- 1:04Speaker 3: things that played in factor that were out of my control,
- 1:06Speaker 3: so I wasn't in the best form that I would
- 1:08Speaker 3: like to be in. But this feeling is so amazing.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Not many people in the world can feel what I'm
- 1:12Speaker 3: feeling right now. The referee really did a bad stoppage
- 1:17Speaker 3: in my fight with Caballel, and I really want a
- 1:20Speaker 3: rematch with Caballel.
- 1:22Speaker 1: What was working for you in this fight?
- 1:24Speaker 3: So, Joe, I would let you have 50 votes here.
- 1:26Speaker 5: First of all, I used my arm strength, because I
- 1:28Speaker 5: have the longest arm strength in the world, good leg work,
- 1:30Speaker 5: good jab, so I used my best conditions over Andy,
- 1:32Speaker 5: and Andy is really an amazing fighter, he gave me
- 1:35Speaker 5: a very strong fight, respect for him, I thank him
- 1:37Speaker 5: for this fight, and first of all this.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I used my physical attributes, my reach, my movement,
- 1:48Speaker 3: and he's a phenomenal fighter, he's a legend. It was
- 1:51Speaker 3: truly an honor to be in the ring with him,
- 1:52Speaker 3: and I wish him all the best.
- 1:54Speaker 2: You'd never gone past the eighth round in your career before,
- 1:57Speaker 2: but you were strong down the stretch.
- 1:59Speaker 1: How were you feeling in those final few rounds?
- 2:01Speaker 3: You've never fought outside of the eighth round of your career,
- 2:03Speaker 3: but you looked great. You had a lot of strength.
- 2:06Speaker 3: How did you feel?
- 2:09Speaker 5: I felt very good, I had a lot of ability,
- 2:11Speaker 5: I have a lot of genetic ability, although in the
- 2:14Speaker 5: last fight I couldn't show it, as I already mentioned
- 2:16Speaker 5: some complications, which I said in the interview, but now
- 2:18Speaker 5: there were no complications, I was in very good shape
- 2:20Speaker 5: and I showed it and I can easily fight 12 rounds.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Yeah, genetically, I have great stamina, but like I said,
- 2:34Speaker 3: in the last fight, there were a lot of complications
- 2:36Speaker 3: that were out of my control, and I wasn't at
- 2:39Speaker 3: my best form, but I can do 12 rounds like
- 2:42Speaker 3: this all day long.
- 2:43Speaker 2: You said you wanted a Caballel rematch. There are four
- 2:45Speaker 2: champions that are out there. Do you think you deserved
- 2:47Speaker 2: an opportunity?
- 2:51Speaker 1: I think so.
- 2:52Speaker 5: If not, I can fight a few more good fights.
- 2:54Speaker 5: I'd like to fight Gassiev, but if I don't deserve it,
- 2:57Speaker 5: I can fight a few more. I'm still young and
- 2:58Speaker 5: I'm aiming high. I want to be the first Polish
- 3:01Speaker 5: heavyweight champion.
- 3:15Speaker 6: If people don't.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Think I deserve it yet and I need to get
- 3:18Speaker 3: back in there and earn it, I can fight with
- 3:20Speaker 3: someone like Gatsiev, who's another champion that I think I
- 3:23Speaker 3: could beat. But like I said, I'm young, I'm ready
- 3:27Speaker 3: to take it, and I'm ready to fight anyone.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Congratulations, Damien.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Andy?
- 3:38Speaker 1: Andy Ruiz, what went wrong tonight?
- 3:42Speaker 4: Um.
- 3:43Speaker 6: I just want to thank God, man, for this opportunity
- 3:46Speaker 6: and Eddie Hearns. And I don't know.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I think it was just him holding.
- 3:50Speaker 6: Every time I tried to come in, he he hold
- 3:52Speaker 6: me really tight and I couldn't let my my combinations go.
- 3:56Speaker 1: But he played a good game plan.
- 3:58Speaker 6: But I'd love to run it back and do things
- 4:00Speaker 6: a lot different.
- 4:01Speaker 1: So you want to run it back.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Do you believe you had enough still in the tank
- 4:04Speaker 2: to win a championship?
- 4:05Speaker 1: Do you still believe that coming out of this fight?
- 4:08Speaker 6: Of course I do, man. It was just a long
- 4:09Speaker 6: layoff and it was a great opponent, you know, and
- 4:13Speaker 6: I didn't want to take an easy fight. So that's
- 4:15Speaker 6: why I took Damien. He's a big guy. But, you know,
- 4:18Speaker 6: we got to take risks. And like I said, I
- 4:20Speaker 6: want to thank God. And, you know, it's not done.
- 4:24Speaker 6: God's not done, man. Just because of this loss, I
- 4:26Speaker 6: still got it in me, man.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I just need to stay active.
- 4:28Speaker 6: And I want to fight again.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I want to fight again. Appreciate it, Andy.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Thank you.
