  I'm so glad you're here. So every decision that
• 0:57
  you have ever made has answered one question,
• 1:01
  whether you realize it or not. And that
• 1:04
  question is simply, who am I?

  It's not answering, what do I want?
• 1:13
  It's not even answering, what should I do?
• 1:17
  The question that you're answering is, who am I? Because who
• 1:21
  you believe yourself to be will always determine what
• 1:24
  you believe is possible. So today I want to share something that
• 1:28
  has completely changed the way that I live my life.
• 1:33
  I believe there are only 2 roads that we can walk,
• 1:36
  and I'm not talking about a road of success and a road of failure.
• 1:40
  I'm not talking about the road of wealth or poverty,
• 1:43
  or even the, the road of good versus bad.
• 1:47
  I'm talking about the road of the fearful the road
• 1:51
  of the Creator. Now, before you think I'm talking about fearless
• 1:55
  people versus fearful people, let me stop you. I'm not talking
• 1:59
  about taking a road that involves skydiving if you have a
• 2:03
  fear of heights, or taking a road where you invest in meme
• 2:07
  stocks if you're risk-averse with your finances.
• 2:11
  Fear is human, and every one of us experiences fear.
• 2:15
  This isn't about whether you feel fear or not.
• 2:19
  This isn't trying to tell you to become fear— fearless. This is about who
• 2:23
  gets to make your decisions, because I don't
• 2:26
  believe that fear is actually a villain. I believe unconscious
• 2:32
  fear, however, can become a villain.
• 2:35
  Fear that quietly makes our decisions without us even realizing
• 2:39
  it, that can become the villain of
• 2:43
  being the creator of our lives. For years, I lived on
• 2:47
  the road of the fearful and I did not know it. In fact,
• 2:51
  if you had asked me, I probably would have told you that I was simply
• 2:54
  being responsible. I had a great career.
• 2:58
  I was comfortable. I knew what tomorrow looked like.
• 3:02
  But deep down, I felt something calling me. I knew
• 3:06
  that I was meant to use my voice. Many of you have heard my
• 3:10
  story. I didn't know exactly what that looked like at first. I can remember sitting
• 3:14
  in my bedroom, in my chair overlooking the lake behind
• 3:18
  my house and just feeling like I was meant to do more.
• 3:22
  Like I was meant for greatness.
• 3:26
  I was meant to leave a legacy. I was meant to help other
• 3:29
  people identify how they could live their greatness,
• 3:32
  how they could live a legacy. And I just didn't know
• 3:36
  where to go. So, I started just posting content on
• 3:40
  social media. I started posting videos. I started recording videos down
• 3:44
  on the dock of my lake. The lake and called it Words from the Lake.
• 3:47
  And that right there started something. And what I didn't realize
• 3:51
  was that every time I was putting myself out there, every time I was
• 3:54
  being vulnerable in the world of social media,
• 3:58
  which can be really hateful sometimes, I was actually
• 4:02
  choosing the life of a creator instead of the life of fear.
• 4:06
  I knew that I was meant to use my voice, and eventually I realized that
• 4:09
  meant not just speaking, not just as an influencer, but also
• 4:13
  as a coach. And to help other people awaken to who
• 4:17
  they really are. And yet every time I would consider leaving
• 4:21
  my career to follow this, fear had another
• 4:25
  argument. John, what if it doesn't work?
• 4:28
  John, what if people think you've lost your mind? John, what if
• 4:32
  you fail? John, what if you lose your house? John,
• 4:36
  what if you lose all of your money? What if you go completely broke?
• 4:39
  What if your betting on yourself, and then it goes kaput.
• 4:45
  And without realizing it, I wasn't making the decision to
• 4:49
  stay stuck, but fear was making the decision for me to
• 4:52
  stay stuck until one day when something shifted.
• 4:57
  The discomfort of denying my purpose eventually became
• 5:01
  greater than the comfort of remaining stuck.
• 5:05
  That was my awakening, not because fear disappeared, but because
• 5:09
  fear finally lost the debate. I was fed up
• 5:14
  knowing I was supposed to do something bigger, something greater, something different.
• 5:19
  I was fed up knowing that I was supposed to bet
• 5:22
  on myself and being stuck where I was.
• 5:26
  And I came to that realization that I wasn't just choosing between
• 5:30
  comfort and risk. I was choosing between existing and
• 5:34
  surviving or truly living and thriving.
• 5:39
  And here's what I've come to believe. The life you desire
• 5:44
  has always existed. Think about that for a minute. The life that
• 5:48
  you desire has always existed. It isn't waiting to
• 5:52
  be created. It is waiting for you to awaken to it.
• 5:56
  The only question is which identity can perceive it?
• 6:01
  When we live through fear, we're trying to protect what we already
• 6:04
  know. We're protecting the comfortable.
• 6:08
  We're protecting the familiar, the predictable. Fear is
• 6:12
  not evil. Fear is simply trying to protect the status quo.
• 6:16
  It's built into our DNA. It is caution.
• 6:19
  It is a beautiful human mechanism designed to keep us
• 6:23
  safe. But here's the problem.
• 6:26
  Purpose almost always lives beyond what is
• 6:30
  known. Growth almost always lives beyond
• 6:34
  certainty. The greatest moments of your life probably
• 6:38
  came because you took a chance. You had a difficult conversation.
• 6:43
  You invested in yourself. You started the business. You asked that
• 6:47
  person on a date. You moved to another city.
• 6:51
  You took a leap. The very fear told you not to do
• 6:55
  it. And then that became the doorway to the life that you
• 6:58
  now love. Because fear protects who you
• 7:02
  have been, but creation reveals
• 7:05

  One of my favorite sayings is this: truth leaves
• 9:17
  fingerprints. So let me ask you, what fingerprints are showing up
• 9:20
  in your life? If you've spent years shrinking your voice,
• 9:24
  truth leaves fingerprints. If you've talked yourself out of
• 9:28
  more dreams than you can even imagine, and you've talked
• 9:32
  yourself out of doing things over and over again, truth is leaving
• 9:36
  its fingerprints. If you've stayed silent because of what people might
• 9:40
  think, truth leaves fingerprints. If you've delayed decisions,
• 9:44
  waiting until you finally feel ready, truth leaves
• 9:48
  fingerprints. Maybe you've been walking the road of the fearful,
• 9:52
  not because you're weak and not because you're broken and certainly not
• 9:56
  because you're incapable, but because an unconscious identity has
• 10:00
  been making your decisions for you. Now let's look at that
• 10:03
  other road. Have you started investing in yourself? Truth will leave
• 10:07
  fingerprints there too. Have you begun doing the inner work of awakening
• 10:11
  to your highest self? Truth leaves fingerprints.
• 10:15
  Have you started saying yes before certainty arrives?
• 10:19
  Truth leaves fingerprints. Have you taken a chance on
• 10:23
  your purpose even when you couldn't see the entire path?
• 10:26
  Because oftentimes the universe only shows us that one next
• 10:31
  step. Truth leaves fingerprints. Have you become more concerned
• 10:34
  with answering your calling than pleasing the crowd? My friends,
• 10:38
  truth leaves fingerprints. You are beginning to walk the road
• 10:42
  of the creator. Now here's something important. This isn't a
• 10:46
  one-time decision. You don't choose the creator path once and then
• 10:50
  never face fear again. No, every day,
• 10:53
  every moment, every conversation, every opportunity, every risk,
• 10:57
  you are standing in that same intersection between the
• 11:01
  path of fear and the path of being the creator. The road of
• 11:05
  the fearful is always available, and oftentimes
• 11:09
  it seems like the most comfortable path. It takes you back into certainty.
• 11:13
  It takes you back into playing small. The road of the Creator,
• 11:16
  however, is also waiting for you, and it is inviting you to awaken
• 11:21
  again, to trust again, to create again.
• 11:24
  The question is not which road did I choose 5
• 11:27
  years ago. The question is what road am I choosing today
• 11:32
  in this moment? This is where my own philosophy intersects
• 11:35
  with my faith. I believe that every one of us has access to
• 11:39
  something infinitely greater than ourselves. I call it God.
• 11:43
  You may call it Spirit, Source, the Universe, whatever language
• 11:47
  resonates with you. I believe there is creative intelligence inviting
• 11:51
  us into a greater life. And that creator isn't someone who
• 11:55
  forces life into existence. The creator awakens to
• 11:59
  what's already possible. Becomes the person capable of receiving
• 12:03
  it, aligns with it, then participates in bringing it into
• 12:07
  reality. And that's why the framework I teach begins with one
• 12:11
  word: awaken. Because awareness changes everything,
• 12:15
  my friends. When awareness changes, perception changes.
• 12:19
  And when perception changes, then decisions begin to change. And then when decisions
• 12:24
  change, your identity changes. And when identity changes,
• 12:28
  destiny changes. It becomes visible. So today you
• 12:32
  will make dozens, if not hundreds of decisions,
• 12:36
  and some of them will seem absolutely insignificant. But every
• 12:40
  single decision is answering one question: who is making
• 12:44
  this choice? Is it the fearful of me, or is it
• 12:47
  the creator of me? Because your destiny isn't created
• 12:51
  in one extraordinary moment. It's created one
• 12:55
  ordinary decision at a time. Every decision is strengthening
• 12:59
  your identity, and every identity is shaping what you perceive,
• 13:03
  and what you perceive is determining the life that you are
• 13:07
  creating. The life you desire already exists.
• 13:12
  It's just waiting to be created, and you create it by
• 13:16
  awakening to it. So today,
• 13:19
  awaken. Become, align, and create,
• 13:22
  because your identity creates your destiny.
• 13:26
  If you don't feel comfortable where you are living,
• 13:29
  it is okay to choose a different path. It is okay
• 13:33
  to let the fear go. Face those demons,
• 13:36
  face those voices, face those limiting beliefs that are
• 13:39
  telling you you can't do it, and let them go
• 13:43
  and dive into the life of the Creator. Because not only are
• 13:47
  you a creator when you're on that path, but you're surrendered to the creator of
• 13:51
  the universe, the same creator that already spoke everything into existence.
• 13:56
  You just have to tune your frequency into that destiny that
• 14:00
  you desire. And that becomes by you becoming— that happens
• 14:04
  by you deciding what your identity is and what you
• 14:07
