- 1:00Speaker 3: We'll dive into that a little later today on the show.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Good God, I can go another six months without hearing
- 1:05Speaker 2: any country music. Oh really, just got back from the
- 1:08Speaker 2: cowboy road trip that I went on, and a lot
- 1:12Speaker 2: of country in the parts that I was at country music.
- 1:16Speaker 3: So I'm a little tapped out. But Ella Langley, you're
- 1:19Speaker 3: still pretty okay.
- 1:20Speaker 5: You've had your Phil You're saying.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Oh my god, no more Eric Church, no more.
- 1:25Speaker 5: Wait, no, no, no, that sounds crazy.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Oh I'm fully saturated. I am topped off. You know,
- 1:31Speaker 2: like when you're putting gas in your vehicle and it
- 1:33Speaker 2: clicks off. Yeah, that's what I'm like with country music.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I've officially clicked off.
- 1:37Speaker 5: Neon Moon needs to say that is what you're saying.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Lord help me. By Bye, Jeremy, It's Katie, It's Josh.

- 1:51Speaker 2: few days with all of us, so you can go
- 1:53Speaker 2: check that out it Mix one or on YouTube search
- 1:56Speaker 2: Mixed one hundred Denver. All brought to you by our
- 1:58Speaker 2: good friends.
- 1:59Speaker 3: At save Way. Speaking of getting back into town and everything,
- 2:04Speaker 3: isn't it the worst when you get back in town
- 2:08Speaker 3: and you go and you open up your fridge and
- 2:11Speaker 3: there's like nothing to eat, and you're like, damn it.
- 2:16Speaker 3: We just spent thousands of dollars on a vacation and
- 2:19Speaker 3: now I got to go to like Cosco. Yeah yeah,
- 2:22Speaker 3: and throw that on the credit card. I'm like, ah,
- 2:25Speaker 3: this stings.
- 2:26Speaker 5: Yeah, it sucks. It really does.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Making that like one of the first things you have
- 2:30Speaker 3: to do when you get home is go to the
- 2:32Speaker 3: grocery store.
- 2:33Speaker 6: It just makes you feel like you're bleeding money, right, Like, oh,
- 2:36Speaker 6: I just spent so much money.
- 2:38Speaker 3: I didn't even want to.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Tell you what our credit card build is this month.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It's horrendous. But it's got you know, the vacation on it.
- 2:46Speaker 5: That's it.
- 2:47Speaker 3: And then you come back and you got to buy everything.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Although I will say as we were driving home, actually
- 2:53Speaker 2: let Knickknack drive for a couple hours on the way back,
- 2:57Speaker 2: and as she was driving, I sat on the Safeway
- 3:00Speaker 2: app in the middle of Wyoming and did a grocery
- 3:04Speaker 2: order and said, hey, you know, I need to pick
- 3:06Speaker 2: this up at like six o'clock tonight.
- 3:08Speaker 3: And sure enough, we rolled in and.
- 3:10Speaker 2: I zipped up the Safeway because they did all the
- 3:12Speaker 2: shopping for me, and I snagged all the groceries and
- 3:15Speaker 2: then I went back to the house, which was kind
- 3:17Speaker 2: of nice.
- 3:17Speaker 5: That was really smart thinking on your part, you know.
- 3:20Speaker 3: As I was doing it, I was like, you know,
- 3:22Speaker 3: for as much as we cursed the Internet and apps
- 3:25Speaker 3: and how much we're on our phone, I was like,
- 3:26Speaker 3: this is pretty rad. Okay, I'm grocery shopping right now
- 3:30Speaker 3: in the middle of Wyoming.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Did you given the internet their flowers?
- 3:33Speaker 6: I know?
- 3:35Speaker 3: I even hopped on and I was like turning down
- 3:36Speaker 3: my air conditioning at the house. I was like, it's
- 3:39Speaker 3: gonna be nice and cool. And we get home, yeah,
- 3:41Speaker 3: around the sprinklers real quick. Such a door. But we
- 3:46Speaker 3: still had to go to like Sam's, and I was like, man,
- 3:48Speaker 3: this is brutal.
- 3:49Speaker 2: The only other bad thing, too, was you know, when
- 3:51Speaker 2: we left whatever it's been twelve days ago, eleven days,
- 3:56Speaker 2: we had left a bowl of broccoli the fridge. Yes, yes,
- 4:01Speaker 2: and that it was steamed broccoli when we left and
- 4:04Speaker 2: it was soup souper broccoli and we got home.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Yeah, and you opened up that fridge and it's all
- 4:09Speaker 3: your smell.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:10Speaker 6: I will raise you one and tell you I left
- 4:13Speaker 6: a can of open beans in my fridge. I opened
- 4:17Speaker 6: it and wanted to add it to something. At the
- 4:19Speaker 6: last minute.
- 4:20Speaker 5: I was like, no, I don't need it.
- 4:22Speaker 6: So I put it in a little plastic container in
- 4:24Speaker 6: my fridge and I was like, I'll throw that in
- 4:26Speaker 6: something later. Totally forgot about it. Nine days later, came
- 4:30Speaker 6: back and I opened my fridge. It was a canelly bean.
- 4:35Speaker 6: Canelly bean. Oh, it's pungent. I can smell it house smell.
- 4:39Speaker 2: And it's funny too, like when you take all that
- 4:41Speaker 2: out of your fridge and then you like dump it
- 4:42Speaker 2: in your trash whatever, how much your house stinks for
- 4:44Speaker 2: like the next forty five minutes.
- 4:46Speaker 6: Oh, I walked it out, did your trash absolutely all
- 4:49Speaker 6: the way on the parking lot.
- 4:50Speaker 5: I was like, we're making the track.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Yeah. The only other good thing that happened.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I got to give kudos to my parents because the
- 4:58Speaker 2: day before we came back, I was thinking, man late
- 5:02Speaker 2: getting the grocery shopping, and I got a mow before
- 5:04Speaker 2: the h o A dingsus. We were sitting there and
- 5:07Speaker 2: my cameras kept going off at the house. I was like,
- 5:10Speaker 2: why did they keep going off?
- 5:11Speaker 3: And I hopped on and looked, and there's my mom
- 5:13Speaker 3: and my dad rolling up in my dad's truck unloading
- 5:16Speaker 3: a lawnmower and they're weed Waka and the Blower and
- 5:20Speaker 3: they mowed my lawn for me. Nice.
- 5:24Speaker 5: I was like, what are you doing.
- 5:26Speaker 3: She's like, well, we just know you're gonna be tired
- 5:28Speaker 3: when you get back, and we're just gonna take care
- 5:29Speaker 3: of the lawn for you. Is that awesome? I don't
- 5:32Speaker 3: think any parents would do that. I owe them.
- 5:34Speaker 5: Big, you really do.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Yeah, it was really cool of them, so I didn't
- 5:38Speaker 3: even have to move. I know my parents are better
- 5:41Speaker 3: than your parents. I'm okay, I'm sorry. Actually, I'm sure
- 5:48Speaker 3: you loved your dad as well. Yes, I'm sorry. I'm
- 5:54Speaker 3: sorry that I said my parents are better than your.
- 5:58Speaker 6: I'm sure if your dad was around heat mow your
- 6:01Speaker 6: he would absolutely would.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Hillary Duff at Red Rocks.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I saw a couple of videos of her singing it
- 6:08Speaker 2: at her little concerts.
- 6:10Speaker 3: I think she looks She looks really good. A lot
- 6:12Speaker 3: of side boob, her little star.
- 6:14Speaker 5: Dress she's wearing. I just love it.
- 6:17Speaker 3: She's wearing a dress, yes.
- 6:20Speaker 6: Yes, but she also has some casual looks I saw
- 6:23Speaker 6: her performing in, like a T shirt and bag jeans.
- 6:25Speaker 2: And everything I saw with side boot. Yeah, side bob
- 6:29Speaker 2: for dates.
- 6:30Speaker 5: There's that too, because side boob sells chair.
- 6:32Speaker 3: I'm not a fan of the side boob.
- 6:34Speaker 6: It's very sexy, it really is. I understand what on
- 6:38Speaker 6: myself exactly. You know, you have to work at it,
- 6:42Speaker 6: so I see why. It's a good look. That fold over.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Yeah, let me a good fold over.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Like an envelope under there, so I put mystick in
- 6:53Speaker 2: my pepper spray when I go running all warm. Yeah,
- 6:56Speaker 2: you put a cheese stick under there and warm it
- 6:58Speaker 2: up and toasty.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, hashtags side boob. What else could you put
- 7:06Speaker 3: under there? It's got me thinking.
- 7:08Speaker 2: How let me tell you, Like, if you want your
- 7:10Speaker 2: hands free while you're walking your dog, you.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Can put your phone your phone, that's good.
- 7:15Speaker 6: It'll doggy bag in there if you want to pick
- 7:17Speaker 6: up your dog's little mourner or.
- 7:18Speaker 3: I was thinking like a doggy bag. Like if you
- 7:20Speaker 3: leave a restaurant you got some extra chicken Tindy's, and
- 7:23Speaker 3: you want to keep warm.
- 7:24Speaker 5: You're spare spare.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Ribs right under the spare change wipes.
- 7:31Speaker 5: Believe me, the ladies know you can put things in there.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Diaper, if you have a baby.
- 7:36Speaker 5: It stores many things.
- 7:37Speaker 6: The possibilities are less depending on the size of your envelope.
- 7:41Speaker 5: You can put all kinds of stuff in there.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Let's fire up the text line. You guys can comment.
- 7:47Speaker 2: What would you put underneath your side boob? Three oh
- 7:50Speaker 2: three six nine one one mix three oh three six
- 7:53Speaker 2: nine one sixteen forty nine.
- 7:56Speaker 3: If we get some good ones, I'll read them.
- 7:57Speaker 5: On the air.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:58Speaker 6: I want starburs in there, starbor warm, Yeah.
- 8:02Speaker 3: So good warm? Yeah?
- 8:04Speaker 2: What would you put in underneath your side boob? Three
- 8:06Speaker 2: oh three six nine one sixteen forty nine. Shoot, that
- 8:11Speaker 2: just might become our eight o'clock topic today.
- 8:13Speaker 3: I don't know. We'll see how things go.
- 8:15Speaker 5: I'm so glad you're back, sir.
- 8:18Speaker 3: It's so good. Chick fil A packets, sauce, packets.
- 8:23Speaker 5: All options are.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Yes, you're traveling and you wear a retainer, you can
- 8:28Speaker 3: keep it.
- 8:29Speaker 5: Can check that carry on?
- 8:33Speaker 7: Oh, forgot sake, you look so funny going through the
- 8:35Speaker 7: TSA scan it.
- 8:36Speaker 3: What is underneath you? Everything?
- 8:38Speaker 5: Well, sir?
- 8:39Speaker 3: I luggage? Actually it's my carry on? All right? Text
- 8:45Speaker 3: has three oh three six nine one sixteen forty nine.
- 8:48Speaker 3: What would you put under your side boob? All right?
- 8:51Speaker 3: Is TI for a little sports action? Really quick?
- 8:53Speaker 2: I got this story about the MLB holding the home
- 8:57Speaker 2: run derby last night. I don't know who this Joe
- 9:00Speaker 2: Jordan Walker of the Cardinals is, but he came out
- 9:02Speaker 2: on top. Anyway, There's a story about some of the
- 9:05Speaker 2: longest home runs in history from these home run derbies,
- 9:08Speaker 2: like three out of the top seven or whatever. They
- 9:12Speaker 2: all came out of Denver, Colorado. Here say that thin
- 9:18Speaker 2: air really lets you whack those balls.
- 9:20Speaker 3: A little bit harder. They go, yeah, they go.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I'm not a huge sports guy, but I definitely get
- 9:25Speaker 2: sucked into the home run derbies. And then like when
- 9:28Speaker 2: the NBA does the dunk competitions of those are so
- 9:32Speaker 2: fun to watch.
- 9:33Speaker 6: The All Star festivities are always so much fun.
- 9:36Speaker 5: They really are. They do it a big all.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Right, special shout out to Stacey who said frozen burrito
- 9:42Speaker 2: under her side booth.
- 9:43Speaker 3: That's cold she got for sports?
- 9:46Speaker 8: All right?
- 9:46Speaker 7: Well, yes, is the FIFA World Cup still going? It is,
- 9:49Speaker 7: and it's only going for one more week. It actually
- 9:51Speaker 7: ends this Sunday, and a lot of Americans don't really
- 9:54Speaker 7: care anymore simply because they were knocked out in the
- 9:57Speaker 7: round of thirty two. I know, and the hype kind
- 9:59Speaker 7: of ends around on that, and I understand that. But
- 10:01Speaker 7: FIFA is doing something kind of odd. They are selling
- 10:04Speaker 7: grass that is going to be used in the finale,
- 10:07Speaker 7: which is a little funny because people are already up
- 10:09Speaker 7: in arms about how expensive the tickets were, and it's
- 10:12Speaker 7: one of those things that, yes, they can just make
- 10:13Speaker 7: money on anything. So they're gonna sell the grass and
- 10:16Speaker 7: it's going four hundred and fifty dollars per square inch
- 10:21Speaker 7: that that they're selling you boo.
- 10:28Speaker 5: Yes, you good?
- 10:29Speaker 3: Yeah yucky. I don't like that. That's yucky. How do
- 10:32Speaker 3: you buy this grass?
- 10:33Speaker 7: You just gotta go online after the game and gass
- 10:36Speaker 7: dot com. That's exactly yes, by grass. How did you
- 10:38Speaker 7: know that buy rass? No, it's just FIFA's website. Oh,
- 10:42Speaker 7: it's on FIFA's website. After the finale on Sunday, you
- 10:45Speaker 7: can go and get yourself little square inch of that
- 10:48Speaker 7: uh grass that has been walked on by some of
- 10:50Speaker 7: the world's best soccer player.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Nice grass dot com. I kiss my grass, Give me
- 10:55Speaker 3: some of that grass dot com. Squeeze my grass?
- 10:59Speaker 9: Yeh?
- 11:00Speaker 3: Any of that way better?
- 11:04Speaker 2: And one final shout out to Kenny who says I'd
- 11:07Speaker 2: put a picture of Jeremy's side boob under my side
- 11:11Speaker 2: boob eception.
- 11:12Speaker 5: I like that one.
- 11:14Speaker 3: You are making us laugh. It is definitely good to
- 11:18Speaker 3: be back having some fun on a Tuesday morning.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Tuesday morning, Yeah, let's get you up to speed on
- 11:24Speaker 2: everything that's floating around his goofy planet. I don't know,
- 11:27Speaker 2: I'm a little late to the party on this. Sam
- 11:30Speaker 2: Neil passed away, veteran actor, seventy eight years old. I mean,
- 11:35Speaker 2: the most well known for Jurassic Park. Oh yeah, I
- 11:38Speaker 2: really didn't know anything else that he did. Maybe the
- 11:40Speaker 2: Hunt for Red October, which again is you got to
- 11:43Speaker 2: get in.
- 11:43Speaker 3: The wayback machine. That's a massive role Jurassic Park. Jurassic Park. Yeah,
- 11:47Speaker 3: like iconic right.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Passed away in Sydney, Australia, surrounded by family. I guess
- 11:53Speaker 2: he had been struggling struggling with lymphoma for a while.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Yeah, but he made that post that he beat and
- 12:00Speaker 3: wanted to make new movies.
- 12:01Speaker 2: So anyway, seventy eight years old. It was all over
- 12:04Speaker 2: the gram yesterday. So if you've been living under a
- 12:07Speaker 2: rock now, you know.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Samuel's no longer with us.
- 12:10Speaker 2: He was just in that commercial too in last year's
- 12:13Speaker 2: Super Bowl for Exfinity.
- 12:16Speaker 3: I think okay, they brought him back to like look
- 12:18Speaker 3: like he.
- 12:19Speaker 5: Was a Jurassic park down, Yes, but.
- 12:22Speaker 3: They had Exfinity so they were able to get the
- 12:24Speaker 3: park back up.
- 12:24Speaker 6: Yes, because they had a lot of the same scenes
- 12:27Speaker 6: in Yeah Velociraptors.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Yeah, Okay, I had some sad news out of Hollywood.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Here's some happy news for somebody who owns Iron Man's
- 12:35Speaker 2: first comic book. It was his first appearance in a
- 12:39Speaker 2: comic book. The original artwork sold for three point eight
- 12:44Speaker 2: million dollars and heritage auctions.
- 12:48Speaker 5: I know, both of it.
- 12:49Speaker 6: Like they always tell you to hang on to that
- 12:51Speaker 6: stuff because you never know what it's going to be worth,
- 12:54Speaker 6: But so much of the stuff is not worth anything.
- 12:56Speaker 5: So much randomly, one thing that.
- 12:59Speaker 6: No one would have called, no one would have seen
- 13:01Speaker 6: coming worth three point two million.
- 13:03Speaker 2: I always wanted to experience going up into like a
- 13:07Speaker 2: grandparents attic or something and having an old chest up there,
- 13:12Speaker 2: open it up, you blow all the dust off it,
- 13:15Speaker 2: and inside is like all these.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Pristine copies of comic books. Yeah, or playboys, either one
- 13:23Speaker 3: of these. Either one.
- 13:24Speaker 6: But you know you're gonna open it up and there's
- 13:25Speaker 6: gonna be beanie babies and tomagotchis, and so you're like,
- 13:28Speaker 6: we did it.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Wrong or old Cloyeah, that's what it's gonna be.
- 13:34Speaker 2: But no, no comic books or old playboys for this guy.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Grandpa wasn't iron Man, if you know what I mean.
- 13:46Speaker 5: Okay, I'm gonna be up cleaning the perhaps.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Don't bother me for forty five minutes.
- 13:52Speaker 5: Yeah right, you wish.
- 13:57Speaker 2: So there's a new tax possibly coming to concerts and
- 14:02Speaker 2: event tickets.
- 14:03Speaker 7: Uh.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Some Denver City Council members are discussing a possible ballot measure.
- 14:07Speaker 2: They would add between five and fifteen percent to event tickets.
- 14:13Speaker 2: The revenue would reportedly be used to pay for safer
- 14:16Speaker 2: streets and transit improvements.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Okay, so why does that matter? I fifteen percent tax.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Could easily add three thirty dollars to two hundred dollars
- 14:26Speaker 2: a ticket before other fees depending on the price of
- 14:29Speaker 2: your ticket.
- 14:30Speaker 6: They're already so expensive, make them more by adding tax?
- 14:35Speaker 3: Why would you add this to it?
- 14:36Speaker 2: Hopefully this dies dies in committee, But yeah, that's a
- 14:41Speaker 2: that's a hearty chunk of change.
- 14:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Absolutely, It's already hard enough to go to concerts, it.
- 14:46Speaker 5: Really is, I know. And that's the thing. They'll get
- 14:48Speaker 5: us some other way.
- 14:49Speaker 6: But don't tax the concert tickets, yes, shocking.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Don't tax our Hillary Duff tickets, don't do way, Louise,
- 14:57Speaker 2: what else is going ont Okay?
- 14:59Speaker 6: So we do have a Artemis two crew. They're gonna
- 15:01Speaker 6: be coming to Red Rocks to speak and talk to
- 15:04Speaker 6: people about really neat and it's just one dollar a ticket.
- 15:08Speaker 6: So on August third, they're gonna be out in Morrison
- 15:10Speaker 6: and they'll talk about the highlights from the mission as
- 15:13Speaker 6: well as a question and answer period.
- 15:16Speaker 5: And they're gonna have a little stem fare.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Before I saw that, so.
- 15:19Speaker 6: It just looks yes, exactly, and it's really to celebrate
- 15:23Speaker 6: the Rocky Mountain region's contribution to their big Artemis two trips.
- 15:28Speaker 5: So tickets going on sale this Friday at noon.
- 15:31Speaker 6: But you and I both were talking about this, Jeremy, Josh,
- 15:33Speaker 6: I'm sure you would love this.
- 15:36Speaker 5: Looks like so much fun. I would love to go
- 15:37Speaker 5: see it. And it's on the baby not as birthday.
- 15:41Speaker 3: She's been of a space case.
- 15:45Speaker 5: Out of this world.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Actually remember before seeing pictures and videos and stuff too
- 15:49Speaker 2: that they took all up in the capsule. So that's
- 15:51Speaker 2: kind of a fun way to sell this event. Do
- 15:53Speaker 2: you want to see news space stuff?
- 15:54Speaker 5: This little tour thing that they're doing.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Talk.
- 15:56Speaker 5: I think I'm gonna go different. I think I really
- 15:58Speaker 5: want to.
- 15:58Speaker 3: I think I'm gonna address in full astronaut a tire
- 16:01Speaker 3: as well and walk like I'm on the moon the
- 16:03Speaker 3: whole time.
- 16:04Speaker 5: They're gonna love that.
- 16:05Speaker 6: You know, this is this is like going to see
- 16:08Speaker 6: Santa addressed as Santa go wrong.
- 16:14Speaker 5: They're gonna love that.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Yeah, full helmet everywhere.
- 16:17Speaker 6: Yeah, get it on Amazon now, don't wait on that. Wait, Okay,
- 16:20Speaker 6: you know you can do this week. You should get
- 16:22Speaker 6: on this right now. You can go feel like a
- 16:25Speaker 6: kid at Elage Garden. So you can do that all
- 16:27Speaker 6: the time, no matter your age. But right now this
- 16:30Speaker 6: week you'll pay kid admission now for so you'll get
- 16:35Speaker 6: in for around forty bucks this week. A great deal
- 16:38Speaker 6: and the perfect week for this because it is blazing
- 16:41Speaker 6: hot out there. So go hang out near some water
- 16:44Speaker 6: and again saving some money with Elage Gardens.
- 16:47Speaker 5: So I like that, go feel like a kid. And
- 16:49Speaker 5: then one more Denver's mile high status. It is set
- 16:52Speaker 5: in stone again.
- 16:54Speaker 6: The new location of Denver's mile high marker at the
- 16:56Speaker 6: state Capitol is now on the seventeenth stat.
- 16:59Speaker 3: It's one of the steps I know that. Yeah, what
- 17:02Speaker 3: was it on.
- 17:03Speaker 6: We have changed it three times already. This is the
- 17:06Speaker 6: fourth time it has changed. So it went from the
- 17:09Speaker 6: fifteenth step to the eighteenth step to the thirteenth step
- 17:13Speaker 6: from measurements taken in like nineteen oh nine, nineteen sixty nine, and.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Two thousand and three.
- 17:19Speaker 6: So the reason he keeps changing is because technology gets better.
- 17:24Speaker 6: So that's what they're saying, is that's what.
- 17:27Speaker 5: I thought immediately.
- 17:28Speaker 6: I was just like, wow, that's a lot of movement
- 17:30Speaker 6: for the mile high marker. But they say that it's
- 17:34Speaker 6: because of the technology and how they're getting a real,
- 17:37Speaker 6: like actual reading, an accurate reading that they've never had before.
- 17:42Speaker 6: The funny part is, right now, the new spot on
- 17:45Speaker 6: the seventeenth step is marked by a very official stroke
- 17:48Speaker 6: of a sharpie. I know. Yeah. Because the region they
- 17:53Speaker 6: wanted to make sure it was all planned and ready
- 17:55Speaker 6: to install by Colorado Day on August.
- 17:58Speaker 5: First, because it's our one hundred and fiftieth.
- 18:00Speaker 6: Birthday, right, They're gonna have to wait until next year
- 18:02Speaker 6: to do it because it took a little longer for
- 18:04Speaker 6: them to actually get the measurement. But now we know
- 18:08Speaker 6: it is on the seventeenth Yes, we'll have that celebration
- 18:11Speaker 6: next year sometime. But I just think it's hilarious. It
- 18:14Speaker 6: has moved so much.
- 18:15Speaker 2: I've never actually gone out and seen that little marker.
- 18:17Speaker 2: So I guess once they get it set, maybe we
- 18:19Speaker 2: can get out there and get a picture.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Oh that'll be nice little picture with you.
- 18:22Speaker 3: That means I gotta go downtown.
- 18:23Speaker 5: So we'll do it.
- 18:24Speaker 3: It's never mind, I changed my mind.
- 18:26Speaker 5: You Well, there's your Ma High High reguard this year.
- 18:29Speaker 2: There you go, guys, you're up to date this morning
- 18:30Speaker 2: with Jeremy, Katie and Josh makes one hundred. Looking at
- 18:34Speaker 2: the forecast for today ninety five again in Denver, and
- 18:38Speaker 2: then the rest of the week ninety three, ninety two,
- 18:40Speaker 2: ninety two, ninety five, Sunday ninety.
- 18:43Speaker 5: Seven, Oh my god, what was that Sunday?
- 18:47Speaker 3: Or No, we're melting.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Great time to go to the pool, though, I'll tell
- 18:53Speaker 2: you that much.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Get to a pool and cool off, like I did yesterday.
- 18:57Speaker 2: I took my daughter and one of her friends yesterday
- 19:01Speaker 2: afternoon over to the pool. And you know it's gonna
- 19:05Speaker 2: be bad when you roll into the rec center and
- 19:07Speaker 2: there's two school buses.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Parked out front.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I was going ah rap, Oh, no, that means it's
- 19:13Speaker 2: gonna be packed full of children. And indeed it was
- 19:17Speaker 2: easily four to seven thousand kids in this pool.
- 19:22Speaker 3: And you know how I am with public pools, right,
- 19:25Speaker 3: I don't go in them.
- 19:25Speaker 5: You don't like them at all.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Yeah, public pools, because they're disgusting, especially when they're full
- 19:29Speaker 2: of children. We were at this pool for about twenty
- 19:33Speaker 2: minutes before one of the lifeguards had to blow the whistle.
- 19:37Speaker 3: And everybody out, Oh, everybody out.
- 19:40Speaker 5: That's never good.
- 19:42Speaker 3: There was a poop situation. One of the children pooped
- 19:45Speaker 3: in the pool. Luckily it was not my children, but yeah,
- 19:49Speaker 3: there was a couple turds floating in the pool here.
- 19:51Speaker 2: And now the bad thing about this pool that we
- 19:54Speaker 2: were at is there's a main swimming area and then
- 19:58Speaker 2: just adjacent to it can to the main swimming area
- 20:02Speaker 2: is kind of like an exercise river, I'll say. So,
- 20:07Speaker 2: it's like a loop that you can walk in against
- 20:10Speaker 2: the current to get exercise and it's strong. Well, apparently
- 20:15Speaker 2: the turns had floated into the.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Current section.
- 20:21Speaker 2: And basically disintegrated into a bazilion pieces in there because
- 20:25Speaker 2: of the water pressure, and lifeguards just walked around to everybody.
- 20:31Speaker 2: She looked at me, She's like, I don't know when
- 20:33Speaker 2: we're gonna get this back open.
- 20:34Speaker 3: I really don't know.
- 20:36Speaker 5: We have a Brown River situation.
- 20:39Speaker 3: She just she's like, I don't know, I don't know.
- 20:45Speaker 5: Lifeguards man.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Jerry, Katy and josh One.
- 20:52Speaker 2: We were heading out of town for the road trip. Guys,
- 20:54Speaker 2: I am, I am so out of the loop. But
- 20:56Speaker 2: we hit Johnstown and BUCkies the f first time I
- 21:02Speaker 2: made my.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Way into the BUCkies up there.
- 21:04Speaker 5: The beaver missed you.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Well, the beaver, the beaber. The beaver and I just met.
- 21:09Speaker 6: Actually well, I mean they he heard about you. So
- 21:12Speaker 6: I'm glad you finally made your way up there. They've
- 21:14Speaker 6: got great stuff.
- 21:15Speaker 3: They really do. And we were there around breakfast time.
- 21:18Speaker 2: So nick Nat got the burrito with brisket in the
- 21:21Speaker 2: breakfast burrito.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Yeah, hells to the yes. Yes, she chose wisely. I
- 21:28Speaker 3: chose the one.
- 21:28Speaker 2: It was like the biggest breakfast burrito they had, which
- 21:32Speaker 2: is just had like bacon and tater tots in it
- 21:34Speaker 2: and eggs and so good.
- 21:36Speaker 6: Though diet starts today, yeah.
- 21:40Speaker 5: Now we eat clean.
- 21:41Speaker 3: But that brisket up there is pretty darn tasty.
- 21:44Speaker 5: Oh it's so good use.
- 21:45Speaker 3: The bathroom unreal, isn't.
- 21:48Speaker 5: It great with the lights on it and everything.
- 21:50Speaker 3: The lights on the stalls.
- 21:52Speaker 5: Awesome, unbelievable.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I could have ate the burrito off that toilet.
- 21:56Speaker 5: In he was so clean.
- 21:57Speaker 6: Right, What is it about that gas station that's just
- 22:01Speaker 6: fascinating makes you want to live there?
- 22:02Speaker 2: Nicole bought a beaver. She bought a stuffy.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Oh that's it's a Buddies with the Uncle Sam hat
- 22:09Speaker 3: on it, and he's holding America two fifty banner and
- 22:11Speaker 3: he's like in a little shirt that stars in stripes.
- 22:13Speaker 3: She's like, I'm buying this, Yeah, you have to.
- 22:15Speaker 5: And it was probably only like twenty bucks.
- 22:17Speaker 3: It's fifteen dollars.
- 22:17Speaker 5: See, it's the best. They have the best prices, the best.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Food, and it was like unofficial mascot for the entire
- 22:24Speaker 2: road trip.
- 22:24Speaker 3: It was sitting up in the like on the dash.
- 22:26Speaker 3: She was like getting pictures of it at various places.
- 22:29Speaker 5: Prouder ye, like a little old lady.
- 22:33Speaker 3: I knew it was going to be good though, because
- 22:35Speaker 3: they got what do you call that counter there where
- 22:37Speaker 3: everyone's working behind it? What would you call it?
- 22:39Speaker 5: Like a hot deli counter?
- 22:40Speaker 3: It's deli?
- 22:41Speaker 5: Yeah, oh, the hot bar, hot bar about.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and everybody behind it working. Yeah.
- 22:48Speaker 5: They have a few of those bars. They have the
- 22:50Speaker 5: foot bar, yeah, the.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Hot bar, specifically talking about the meat bar, like, yes,
- 22:55Speaker 2: you know, it's going to be good.
- 22:57Speaker 3: When I was looking over the counter, and I'm not
- 22:58Speaker 3: trying to be mean, but there was a large man
- 23:01Speaker 3: back there. Yeah, and he was stained from top to bottom.
- 23:08Speaker 3: He's making and barbecue, so I don't know. He was
- 23:11Speaker 3: stained like crazy. He's got test He had multiple shelves
- 23:15Speaker 3: that things were dropping on all right. And I just
- 23:17Speaker 3: looked at that guy. I go, this is gonna be
- 23:19Speaker 3: good good, And he looked at me and he gave
- 23:23Speaker 3: me a little wink. I know what you're I was
- 23:27Speaker 3: looking at the brisket, looking at him, looking at the brisket,
- 23:30Speaker 3: and he goes wink.
- 23:31Speaker 2: I was like, oh, hell, he's gonna be damn good.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I'm already pitting out a little bit. It's gonna be
- 23:36Speaker 2: like ninety five degrees today. I'm not even joking, Katie.
- 23:42Speaker 5: Man, it's going all over the place.
- 23:44Speaker 3: It gonna be toasty. Uh, stick around, have some fun
- 23:47Speaker 3: with us here.
- 23:47Speaker 2: At seven point thirty, we're gonna probably be playing fast
- 23:50Speaker 2: five with some Hillary Toff concert tickets up for grabs
- 23:54Speaker 2: now because it is gonna be so hot.
- 23:56Speaker 3: I don't know if you want to celebrate National Mac
- 23:58Speaker 3: and Cheese Day, but this is it. Today's the day.
- 24:03Speaker 5: Bruh.
- 24:04Speaker 2: There's this list out today how to make the perfect
- 24:07Speaker 2: mac and cheese or perr as Tatie's daughter.
- 24:10Speaker 3: We're gonna get into that in a second. The noodles.
- 24:15Speaker 2: They're saying spirals are the clear winner when it comes
- 24:18Speaker 2: to mac and cheese. I don't think so. The spirals
- 24:20Speaker 2: fall apart. I want the regular little.
- 24:23Speaker 5: You like the elbow macaroni elbow, that's the one.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Cheese cheddar came in at number one. Of course.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Spices, pepper, dry mustard, paprika, dijon, mustard, garlic powder.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Meat is about two thirds of people surveyed say they
- 24:38Speaker 2: don't want any meat in their mac and cheese. Keep
- 24:41Speaker 2: it classic. Although I was just showing you guys a
- 24:43Speaker 2: picture of some mac and cheese I had out in Wyoming,
- 24:46Speaker 2: wrisk it on the side.
- 24:48Speaker 3: That's a pretty solid combination. Absolutely vegetables. Do you even
- 24:51Speaker 3: need to cover that? Don't? Don't be an idiot.
- 24:56Speaker 2: What kind of dairy they say, the most popular answer
- 24:58Speaker 2: was whole milk, some whole milk in it. And then
- 25:02Speaker 2: the cooking style is oven baked is the most popular.
- 25:06Speaker 6: That's where it gets hard though, Like a good mac
- 25:08Speaker 6: and cheese is not as easy as it sounds, because
- 25:11Speaker 6: to get the noodles the perfect consistency and then the
- 25:14Speaker 6: cheese sauce, and then when you mix all that together
- 25:16Speaker 6: and you put it in the oven, a lot of
- 25:18Speaker 6: times that'll dry it out, so you have to be
- 25:20Speaker 6: careful about keeping it nice and creamy.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Yeah, yes, there's.
- 25:26Speaker 2: A science celebrate National Mac and Cheese Day today. So
- 25:30Speaker 2: speaking of your daughter saying what is it per all
- 25:33Speaker 2: the time?
- 25:33Speaker 3: What the hell is that all about?
- 25:34Speaker 6: So we went up to New York City and we
- 25:36Speaker 6: were hanging out, so baby Nana, she's about to be
- 25:39Speaker 6: twenty three, and then we had a little thirteen year
- 25:41Speaker 6: old with us, and they were both talking in these
- 25:43Speaker 6: like languages where I was like, uh, and it's funny
- 25:46Speaker 6: baby not reverted back to a small child when she
- 25:49Speaker 6: was hanging around with this kid.
- 25:50Speaker 3: I can see that.
- 25:50Speaker 5: So it was just like like all of the verbiage
- 25:53Speaker 5: too much.
- 25:54Speaker 6: So one they're talking in emojis, so they like look
- 25:58Speaker 6: at each other and like a sad face emoji, oh,
- 26:00Speaker 6: happy fase emoji, dolphin emoji, like random emojis the whole trip.
- 26:05Speaker 5: And I was just like.
- 26:07Speaker 6: I did a few time. I did a few times
- 26:09Speaker 6: and then they told on me. I was like, man,
- 26:13Speaker 6: But then the other thing was hold on, that is
- 26:15Speaker 6: a thing to be talking just heart emoji yes. And
- 26:19Speaker 6: then so then I talked. I tried to like be
- 26:22Speaker 6: a part of it. And so I was like I
- 26:24Speaker 6: love this so much heart.
- 26:25Speaker 5: Emoji and they rolled their eyes. They were like rolling
- 26:28Speaker 5: eyes emoji.
- 26:28Speaker 3: I was like, ah, combs down emoji, part of little
- 26:32Speaker 3: old Lady emoji.
- 26:34Speaker 6: So then, but with the Perr, it is essentially saying
- 26:37Speaker 6: perfect but not saying it all the way. And where
- 26:40Speaker 6: it really caught me off guard as we were in
- 26:42Speaker 6: Lake George and little Baby Nana was asking someone about
- 26:45Speaker 6: a tattoo and it was this big, huge biker dude
- 26:48Speaker 6: covered in tattoos and she's like, so, what are your prices?
- 26:51Speaker 5: And he was breaking it down for and she's like, oh,
- 26:53Speaker 5: per He looked at her. He was like, and he's
- 27:00Speaker 5: just totally taken aback. I looked at her and I
- 27:03Speaker 5: was like, I've been dealing with this the whole time.
- 27:04Speaker 3: You're like, I don't know what to tell.
- 27:07Speaker 6: You, but it just it really makes me one feel
- 27:12Speaker 6: like I am a little disconnected.
- 27:14Speaker 2: No, it makes you feel like a grown adult. They
- 27:16Speaker 2: can communicate properly and not sound like an idiot.
- 27:19Speaker 3: I know your daughter, but that's like.
- 27:21Speaker 5: The younger generation.
- 27:23Speaker 6: Like they talk in acronyms, right l O L l
- 27:26Speaker 6: M A O like they they the the way they
- 27:28Speaker 6: speak is so different from us. But I don't want
- 27:31Speaker 6: that to be like a barrier, right, I want to speak.
- 27:36Speaker 2: You want to sit your daughter down and be like,
- 27:38Speaker 2: can you stop doing that?
- 27:39Speaker 6: Just a perfect two syllables, true adulthood. You need to stop,
- 27:46Speaker 6: I know, stop doing It was fun for her too,
- 27:48Speaker 6: because we were all on vacation, right, so she was
- 27:51Speaker 6: just acting a fool because we're nobody knows her here.
- 27:54Speaker 3: I'm never going to see these people. I'm a cat.
- 27:59Speaker 3: It was annoying. The one in my house is.
- 28:02Speaker 2: I don't know if this is an inside joke or
- 28:05Speaker 2: something that I just don't know about, but it's Derby.
- 28:08Speaker 2: My son and his buddy are constantly saying Derby. I
- 28:12Speaker 2: might be cussing Derbyrby. So they're like always trying to
- 28:18Speaker 2: get me to say it. Then I'll say it. Then
- 28:20Speaker 2: they giggle, you know, and so like everything on this trip,
- 28:23Speaker 2: I was just throwing it in. I was like, Derby,
- 28:26Speaker 2: that's Derby. So I don't know what that is. Maybe
- 28:31Speaker 2: somebody can text.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Me or let me know what Derby is right now.
- 28:34Speaker 2: And then they're doing this oose thing where they go
- 28:36Speaker 2: oose and they like slap you under your gobbler, like
- 28:39Speaker 2: under your chin. And that's like a thing where they
- 28:42Speaker 2: try to catch people off guard. Now and they go
- 28:44Speaker 2: oo and they slap you un I know, I shut
- 28:49Speaker 2: him down.
- 28:51Speaker 3: This is my new trick. I shove you down exactly.
- 28:54Speaker 5: We're gonna you.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Yeah, it's Derby and oose.
- 28:57Speaker 6: When they take things that like we're not for us
- 29:00Speaker 6: and they make them bad. Another one is unk, Like
- 29:03Speaker 6: they say that you're so unk right now, and I'm like,
- 29:06Speaker 6: uncle is a good thing for us, Like you know
- 29:08Speaker 6: what uncle in the hood.
- 29:11Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 29:13Speaker 5: You are you're so unk right now?
- 29:15Speaker 3: And I hate that too, don't like I want to
- 29:18Speaker 3: be unk?
- 29:18Speaker 5: No, you don't.
- 29:19Speaker 3: The other thing my son is doing, and again this
- 29:21Speaker 3: could be an inside thing, is he's doing this thing
- 29:23Speaker 3: where he goes. Dude, I don't know what I'm trying
- 29:27Speaker 3: to do it. So if somebody sneezes, he goes, or
- 29:32Speaker 3: if you cough, he goes, And I'm like, stop that,
- 29:36Speaker 3: because if we're in public, like some reason, I think
- 29:38Speaker 3: you have like tourette.
- 29:39Speaker 5: Something when you're doing it, I think.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Like, apologies to everybody with Tourette's, but.
- 29:45Speaker 5: You're right, like it's so weird. It's just o. It
- 29:49Speaker 5: is so and it's just like, I don't know what
- 29:52Speaker 5: you're trying to do.
- 29:53Speaker 3: But please stop stop right now. So so is anyone
- 30:01Speaker 3: else terrified of lettuce right now? A bit? I'm kind
- 30:05Speaker 3: of out of the loop. I didn't really know a
- 30:06Speaker 3: lot of.
- 30:07Speaker 2: This was going on because I've been in parts of
- 30:09Speaker 2: the country with the essentially zero cell signal and I
- 30:13Speaker 2: just have been off of social which has been fantastic.
- 30:17Speaker 2: But I come back to find out that lettuce is
- 30:21Speaker 2: full of something called the cyclospora parasite. I guess right now,
- 30:27Speaker 2: and I'm reading this, I'm like, oh crap. Literally, yeah,
- 30:31Speaker 2: I had lettuce last night because I made tacos, and yeah,
- 30:34Speaker 2: we chopped up the lettuce and put it on the tacos.
- 30:37Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, did we did we get bad lettuce?
- 30:40Speaker 2: But it turns out that it's mostly whole heads of lettuce. No,
- 30:46Speaker 2: check that it's the bagged and solid mixes that you
- 30:49Speaker 2: mainly need to worry about it.
- 30:51Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:51Speaker 2: And then when it comes to the whole heads of lettuce,
- 30:54Speaker 2: they're saying that you should be peeling off the outer
- 30:57Speaker 2: layers I guess, and get deeper into the lettuce.
- 31:00Speaker 3: There's less concern there of getting this parasite, I guess.
- 31:03Speaker 2: But you get uncontrollable, explosive, watery diarrhea, which actually sounds kind.
- 31:09Speaker 2: It sounds awful, such refreshing after eating your restaurant.
- 31:13Speaker 5: It sounds really for two weeks, sounds great.
- 31:16Speaker 6: About stuff from nineteen eighty five, like it's hot.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Body, aggs, cramps, bloating, nausea. It essentially sounds like me
- 31:26Speaker 2: on a daily basis for weeks.
- 31:29Speaker 6: It's like you are sick with and then you don't
- 31:31Speaker 6: even know because like you could get sick with it
- 31:33Speaker 6: and then it couldn't hit you until two weeks later,
- 31:36Speaker 6: is what they're saying. Like you could eat something and
- 31:39Speaker 6: it could sit with you, and then two weeks later
- 31:41Speaker 6: when you crap your pants, Like.
- 31:43Speaker 5: What, it's just so out, It's just too much, It's
- 31:47Speaker 5: too much.
- 31:48Speaker 2: I've been eating at restaurants for quite a while. The
- 31:50Speaker 2: watery diarrhea sounds very refreshing.
- 31:55Speaker 3: You know, you might find me out in the parking
- 31:58Speaker 3: lot eating ahead of lettuce later today.
- 32:01Speaker 5: Tent.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Yeah, because I just kind of feel like I'm really
- 32:04Speaker 3: full right now.
- 32:05Speaker 6: I was on vacation when I heard of it too.
- 32:08Speaker 6: I was not on social media. I didn't know anything
- 32:11Speaker 6: about it, and somebody messaged me and was like, have
- 32:13Speaker 6: you heard about the explosive diarrhea? And I was like, what.
- 32:18Speaker 6: It is insane to me that this is something we're
- 32:20Speaker 6: all worried about it.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Everybody's terrified right now. I'm reading all the stories. They
- 32:25Speaker 2: are pulling a lot of this from store shelves. If
- 32:28Speaker 2: you go to fast food places and maybe you could
- 32:29Speaker 2: yoursell cheeseburger and it typically has let us on it,
- 32:32Speaker 2: you probably won't right now, so just avoid let us
- 32:36Speaker 2: for a little bit, which is fine, I guess unless
- 32:39Speaker 2: you're really into salad.
- 32:40Speaker 3: No.
- 32:40Speaker 6: And then they're saying, like to be able to combat
- 32:43Speaker 6: it because even the produce, because there's still a small risk, but.
- 32:45Speaker 5: Washing these things, so you know how long they say
- 32:47Speaker 5: to wash.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Them a while, six minutes put it through your dish washing.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Nobody doing that you're supposed to wash.
- 32:54Speaker 3: And I'm thinking, like last night, I just went swish,
- 32:58Speaker 3: wish under the water. It's fine, I do.
- 33:00Speaker 5: An extra little switch switch, but not six minutes.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Wild. This is gross. It is scary. I mean, especially
- 33:07Speaker 3: if you get like a little kid it gets it
- 33:08Speaker 3: or something like that. I can definitely be deadly for
- 33:10Speaker 3: a small child.
- 33:11Speaker 2: I remember watching this happened a few years ago where
- 33:14Speaker 2: every everyone had to pull the lettuce because it got
- 33:17Speaker 2: so infested with some sort of bacteria. And I watched
- 33:20Speaker 2: a Netflix special on it and they traced it back
- 33:23Speaker 2: to one major farm that was growing lettuce.
- 33:26Speaker 3: And the farm was right next to stockyards.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I mean like they had like a little berm separating
- 33:33Speaker 2: the stockyard from the lettuce field. And it turns out
- 33:38Speaker 2: like all the sewage and water and waste from the
- 33:41Speaker 2: stockyards was seeping through into the lettuce patch and that's
- 33:45Speaker 2: how the lettuce was getting infected. And I'm like, did
- 33:49Speaker 2: nobody notice this, Like where they were putting the lettuce farm.
- 33:53Speaker 6: I think that would have been like when they engineered
- 33:55Speaker 6: the whole thing, like maybe.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Yeah, you think somebody Billy Bob the farmer was be like,
- 34:01Speaker 2: y'all know there's a good idea.
- 34:03Speaker 3: Yeah, we got a little poopy runoff going into.
- 34:05Speaker 5: The lettuce, but the cows crap there. Yeah, something as
- 34:09Speaker 5: simple as that would help figs.
- 34:11Speaker 3: No, we're you've been warned about the lettuce, everybody.
- 34:16Speaker 5: The fun starts now with Fast five.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Yes, fine, it's time to play Fast five.
- 34:22Speaker 10: Last five?
- 34:23Speaker 5: How fast can we go?
- 34:25Speaker 3: Fast out with Jeremy, Katy and Josh.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Indeed, indeed, it is time to play Fast five, which
- 34:34Speaker 2: is presented by Bally's Casino Blackhawk best Value, the five
- 34:38Speaker 2: dollar black Jacket, five.
- 34:39Speaker 3: Dollars menu items daily.
- 34:42Speaker 2: First things first, what the hell happened yesterday? The amount
- 34:47Speaker 2: of messages I received on my Instagram and my facebooks. Yeah,
- 34:52Speaker 2: I'm saying that Josh and Katie ruined Fast five yesterday.
- 34:55Speaker 5: Okay, wait, hold up, you ruined? It is crazy. Did
- 35:00Speaker 5: have a very happy winner in Jessica.
- 35:02Speaker 3: I don't know what the deal is all about. I
- 35:05Speaker 3: got the gist of it.
- 35:06Speaker 6: Yeah, well, we honestly asked for five national parks in Colorado.
- 35:11Speaker 6: That was the one that wanted yesterday, and you could
- 35:14Speaker 6: clearly tell that Jessica had no idea what it was until.
- 35:18Speaker 5: She googled it.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Ah, so she cheated, but she cheated. But it's like,
- 35:22Speaker 3: and then did you ask her if she cheated?
- 35:23Speaker 5: He did? And she she said, or she said yes, that's.
- 35:26Speaker 6: What somebody said, yes, And then Josh likes, honestly, would
- 35:29Speaker 6: I have to applaud him for that?
- 35:31Speaker 5: Like I probably I probably cheated him the same thing.
- 35:34Speaker 5: But she said she.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Cheated and gave her the prize anyway, be honest.
- 35:38Speaker 5: It is hard to do your job, dear. It's hard
- 35:43Speaker 5: to do your job. We figure that out when we're
- 35:45Speaker 5: in the thick of it, and so we're.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Like, you know what, Jessica, you panic, you panic, you
- 35:51Speaker 3: this panic.
- 35:52Speaker 6: I again, would do exactly the same thing Josh did
- 35:55Speaker 6: because he was rewarding honesty and ask that's.
- 35:57Speaker 3: A load of crap, that's a mom Oh god.
- 36:00Speaker 5: It's important.
- 36:01Speaker 3: So I agree hitting teaching your children to cheat agains.
- 36:06Speaker 2: So no cheating with this game because I don't want
- 36:09Speaker 2: to have to reply to buttload of messages again.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Okay, listen, Katie and Josh are trying their best.
- 36:16Speaker 5: Yesterday we were trying real hard, guys.
- 36:18Speaker 3: We can tell when you cheat. That's not in the
- 36:20Speaker 3: spirit of the game. Don't cheat. So I will tell
- 36:23Speaker 3: you the sheriff is back in town.
- 36:25Speaker 5: That's it.
- 36:26Speaker 3: I know, and I can tell.
- 36:27Speaker 6: So you're gone, And they're like, I'm on today.
- 36:31Speaker 3: Yeah, today's damn with cheat because Katie and Josh will
- 36:34Speaker 3: say yes to anything.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Yeah, they don't know how to say no.
- 36:36Speaker 3: Not today.
- 36:37Speaker 5: We're too nice.

- 37:09Speaker 2: You think you can pull it off. I see phone
- 37:11Speaker 2: lines ringing already. Three oh three six nine one sixteen
- 37:14Speaker 2: forty nine.
- 37:15Speaker 6: Kitties some examples, Okay, yeah, Lake, we said the five
- 37:18Speaker 6: national parks in Colorado that won it yesterday with Jessica.
- 37:21Speaker 6: You can also ask things like five drinks that are
- 37:25Speaker 6: clear or five songs that have an animal in the title.
- 37:28Speaker 5: Was another one that.
- 37:29Speaker 6: You've asked before. So it's all over the place when
- 37:31Speaker 6: it comes to the things you ask for categories.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Jeremy, all right, it is all over the place. I

- 41:25Speaker 9: We look at treatments.
- 41:26Speaker 3: It kind of depends on the different kinds to either

- 45:42Speaker 3: Are you doing like personal accounting or business?
- 45:46Speaker 2: No?

- 46:04Speaker 10: I'm not in that area, so I only know when
- 46:06Speaker 10: we do our meetings, and I don't remember.
- 46:09Speaker 3: You're like the kidney lady. You're like, yeah, I know
- 46:10Speaker 3: about that, but I don't know.
- 46:12Speaker 5: Lots of money, lots of money, not expensive.
- 46:15Speaker 3: Lots of money. All right.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Okay, so this one is pretty darn subjective, but those
- 46:22Speaker 2: are kind of fun and they do tend to trip
- 46:24Speaker 2: people up.
- 46:26Speaker 3: But say it's two am. Okay, two am, Maddie, and
- 46:31Speaker 3: you go stumbling out the club. You're leaving the club.

- 47:12Speaker 5: Many things escalated quickly, Maddie.
- 47:15Speaker 3: I thought you would have got that one.

- 49:06Speaker 9: Yeah, very hard it is.
- 49:08Speaker 3: What are you doing today, buddy?
- 49:10Speaker 9: I was heading to work all right?
- 49:12Speaker 3: Make What are you saving for? Right now? Are you saving?
- 49:14Speaker 3: You're working hard and you're saving for what?
- 49:17Speaker 6: Oh?
- 49:17Speaker 9: I want to get a collector's item and so saving up?
- 49:21Speaker 3: What kind of collector's item? What does that mean?
- 49:23Speaker 7: Oh?
- 49:24Speaker 4: Yeah, sorry?
- 49:24Speaker 9: The thirtieth anniversary of biodome.
- 49:28Speaker 3: How do you keep getting through? Didn't you just win?
- 49:31Speaker 3: You just win. You just won, like less than thirty
- 49:35Speaker 3: days ago.
- 49:37Speaker 10: No, I'm a first time caller.
- 49:39Speaker 3: You're full of man. You just won. I'm putting you
- 49:43Speaker 3: back on hold. He just won.
- 49:46Speaker 5: He is a stickler for the rules.
- 49:48Speaker 3: Sheriff is back.
- 49:49Speaker 6: In town, biodome, nerves, rules, everything by Chris.
- 49:56Speaker 3: Fine, you want to just jump into it. Let's just
- 49:58Speaker 3: jump into it. Get my first day back. I'm getting
- 50:02Speaker 3: irritated already, Chris. Chris, two am, you're wandering outside the club.
- 50:08Speaker 3: I need five things you would see outside of nightclub.
- 50:11Speaker 9: Go hot dog, sand pizza stand, uber lyft scooter, bicycle,
- 50:18Speaker 9: drunk person.
- 50:22Speaker 3: And needles.
- 50:24Speaker 2: Whole ringes seven you got, Chris, I need you to
- 50:29Speaker 2: tell me to play the winni wind sound.
- 50:32Speaker 10: Will you please play the winning wink?
- 50:38Speaker 9: Thank you?
- 50:38Speaker 3: There, Finally we got a winner today. Chris pulled it off. Buddy.
- 50:45Speaker 2: You're gonna go to Red Rocks and gaze at the
- 50:48Speaker 2: beautiful Hillary Duff while she sings her silly little songs.
- 50:51Speaker 3: All right, I'm gonna rub it in my wife's face.
- 50:55Speaker 3: I appreciate it. WHOA. Well, after you're done doing that,
- 50:59Speaker 3: go to the concert.
- 51:00Speaker 2: All right, okay, alright, Chris, I'm gonna put you on
- 51:04Speaker 2: hold and Josh will come back and tell you about
- 51:06Speaker 2: those tickets.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Jerry, Katy and Josh One we did our called it
- 51:14Speaker 1: the Cowboy road Trip.
- 51:16Speaker 3: This summer.
- 51:17Speaker 2: We hit the road, put about two thousand miles on
- 51:20Speaker 2: the old family suv.
- 51:23Speaker 3: We started out.
- 51:24Speaker 2: We went up and spent a few days over the
- 51:27Speaker 2: fourth in Cody, Wyoming. From there we zipped across and
- 51:33Speaker 2: stayed in West Yellowstone, Montana, went up to Gardener, Montana,
- 51:39Speaker 2: back into West Yellowstone, down to Victor, Idaho, into Cheyenne.
- 51:44Speaker 3: Wyoming, and then back home. So we kind of just
- 51:47Speaker 3: did this giant loop, yeah, and was out in the
- 51:51Speaker 3: wild wild West, and we had a really good time.
- 51:55Speaker 2: I like going to these like little off the beaten
- 51:57Speaker 2: path towns and just seeing how light is there.
- 52:01Speaker 3: I've never been to Idaho, Idaho. It is beautiful.
- 52:04Speaker 2: First of all, thank you very much, Cody. I could
- 52:07Speaker 2: see myself living in Cody. It's a great time there.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Yellowstone was fine.
- 52:15Speaker 5: It was probably very toristy, it was fine.
- 52:20Speaker 3: My thing this summer is I was like, let's go
- 52:23Speaker 3: somewhere where we're not in a big city. I don't
- 52:27Speaker 3: want to be around a bunch of people.
- 52:28Speaker 2: I just want to be out secluded, somewhere out in
- 52:32Speaker 2: beautiful nature. Well, I forgot it was America's two hundred
- 52:37Speaker 2: and fifty cana say, and not to mention, I mean,
- 52:41Speaker 2: I think it made it ten times worse. But the
- 52:43Speaker 2: Yellowstone area, what a cluster that is. I mean you
- 52:49Speaker 2: got to get into the park at the butt crack
- 52:51Speaker 2: of dawn to try to see anything, because by eleven
- 52:55Speaker 2: o'clock or so packed. I mean, you cannot get into
- 52:59Speaker 2: an of the sites because there is so many people
- 53:03Speaker 2: and so much traffic. It was like that for the
- 53:06Speaker 2: Grand Tetons as well, because we went to the Grand
- 53:07Speaker 2: Teton National Park and I mean thousands of people thousands,
- 53:14Speaker 2: we one day found one secluded spot. I was like,
- 53:18Speaker 2: I gotta find somewhere where we can just sit and.
- 53:20Speaker 3: Enjoy some of this quiet, the quiet.
- 53:23Speaker 2: And we were out on like a stream, this boardwalk
- 53:26Speaker 2: that went out onto the stream, picturesque quiet, and I
- 53:31Speaker 2: kid you not within four minutes do you hear behind
- 53:34Speaker 2: us another family come, you know, trapes and down and
- 53:39Speaker 2: sat down like next to us.
- 53:40Speaker 3: I was like, are you kidding me?
- 53:42Speaker 2: And we laughed because Yellowstone in that area is such
- 53:45Speaker 2: beautiful pristine scenery. Okay, it's a beautiful part of the country.
- 53:51Speaker 2: But you're sitting there trying to enjoy all this and
- 53:54Speaker 2: you hear like.
- 53:56Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, all this trap and there's a kid
- 54:01Speaker 4: over here screaming his brains out as you're trying to hear,
- 54:04Speaker 4: like a ranger tell you what's going on, and people talking.
- 54:08Speaker 3: It's like, oh my god, this was a bad idea.
- 54:12Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, I'm sure you were regretting at least the Yellowstone.
- 54:15Speaker 3: Stop there was you guys, there was so much noise
- 54:17Speaker 3: and so many people that it really does take away
- 54:21Speaker 3: from the.
- 54:21Speaker 2: Beauty of this National park. It really really does. What
- 54:26Speaker 2: else did we do, Katie? So many waterfalls?
- 54:29Speaker 6: You showed me some videos of the waterfalls you saw,
- 54:32Speaker 6: and I'm jealous.
- 54:34Speaker 5: A lot of really big waterfalls too.
- 54:37Speaker 3: So much good food, really good food.
- 54:39Speaker 5: I'm jealous of that too.
- 54:41Speaker 3: The parade for the fourth in Cody, Wyoming was like
- 54:44Speaker 3: literally four hours long.
- 54:49Speaker 2: So Cody is like a very patriotic town and I
- 54:53Speaker 2: guess it's like one of the main spots to go
- 54:55Speaker 2: for Fourth of July parades and in the West, they're
- 54:58Speaker 2: like kind of known for their parade.
- 55:00Speaker 3: Like to kick things off.
- 55:02Speaker 2: They had a helicopter like flying low to kick off
- 55:06Speaker 2: the parade.
- 55:06Speaker 3: That was the first thing. So he's, you know, as
- 55:09Speaker 3: he's going down the street and you're looking up at
- 55:11Speaker 3: him like, oh my god.
- 55:13Speaker 2: And like small town but yet bombastic like they had.
- 55:18Speaker 2: They had a part where it was all the John
- 55:20Speaker 2: Deere tractors and it just kept going and going. They
- 55:23Speaker 2: probably had like three hundred John Dear tractors in the parade.
- 55:27Speaker 2: It was so many. And I'm not even exaggerating. It
- 55:30Speaker 2: was insane, absolutely insane. As Josh would say, that's cool,
- 55:33Speaker 2: but yeah, it was just a good time. I bought
- 55:35Speaker 2: a new cowboy hat.
- 55:38Speaker 3: I felt very rugged in that. Was that the one
- 55:41Speaker 3: that you sent the picture of us? Like, was that
- 55:42Speaker 3: the new one? You were rocket? Yeah that looks good.
- 55:45Speaker 3: You look good in that hat. Yeah, I really like
- 55:47Speaker 3: it fits you. Yeah it does.
- 55:49Speaker 2: But yeah, two thousand miles and it's a it's a
- 55:52Speaker 2: part of the country too where there is essentially no
- 55:55Speaker 2: cell phone signal in a lot of it.
- 55:58Speaker 3: And there were many times when we were out in
- 56:01Speaker 3: the middle of nowhere, like the only car on the
- 56:05Speaker 3: road for like an hour or two, and the maps
- 56:10Speaker 3: on my phone kept going in and out because it
- 56:12Speaker 3: kept having to go into SOS mode because there's no
- 56:14Speaker 3: signal uh huh.
- 56:15Speaker 2: And I started freaking out a little bit because I
- 56:18Speaker 2: generally like throw in an atlas or a map or something,
- 56:21Speaker 2: and I didn't. And I'm thinking, we are out in
- 56:24Speaker 2: the middle of nowhere, and if my map truly goes down,
- 56:28Speaker 2: I am I'm lost. I have no idea where we
- 56:31Speaker 2: are or if we have car issues anything like that.
- 56:33Speaker 2: I'm like, we are so screwed.
- 56:35Speaker 6: And you're the adult. You're in charge. I know, Oh
- 56:39Speaker 6: my dad was here. I started calculating, like how much
- 56:41Speaker 6: water do we have? How many snacks?
- 56:43Speaker 3: Like how long can we just hang before somebody rolls
- 56:46Speaker 3: up on us? Maybe stops?
- 56:48Speaker 5: Nothing's happened you just.
- 56:51Speaker 3: So are you like that? When it comes to road
- 56:52Speaker 3: trips to.
- 56:53Speaker 6: The map, I usually grab a physical map, but it's
- 56:57Speaker 6: because I've had I mean, I moved to Colorado from
- 56:59Speaker 6: North Dakota when I turned eighteen, so I've made so
- 57:02Speaker 6: many trips back home way before the days of GPS
- 57:06Speaker 6: all that stuff. So I've had to get physical maps
- 57:09Speaker 6: from gas stations and make my way through Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming.
- 57:14Speaker 5: A lot of the time.
- 57:16Speaker 6: So yeah, I I'd like to also have the physical
- 57:19Speaker 6: hard copy of the map just in case.
- 57:21Speaker 7: See, Katie, I'm too young to where I'd be like,
- 57:23Speaker 7: where's the little blue dots?
- 57:26Speaker 3: Where am I? Yeah?
- 57:28Speaker 6: Like I'm pretty sure, Josh, you would have problems just
- 57:30Speaker 6: a physical map.
- 57:31Speaker 5: And that's how baby not not could make her way.
- 57:34Speaker 5: She could barely get through the metro area with a
- 57:39Speaker 5: great dressers like mom, not a bolder.
- 57:46Speaker 3: For sure.
- 57:47Speaker 2: I love the question off the air in regards to
- 57:50Speaker 2: me being up in Cody, Wyoming for the Fourth of
- 57:53Speaker 2: July parade. Katie's like, did they till candy?
- 57:55Speaker 9: Well?
- 57:55Speaker 5: Yeah, because we don't get to do that. Yeah.
- 57:59Speaker 6: The place where I went to see the parade up
- 58:01Speaker 6: in New York as well as just a small little
- 58:02Speaker 6: old town up in upstate New York. They had a
- 58:05Speaker 6: parade and they were throwing candy off of their floats,
- 58:09Speaker 6: like I mean with the scoops you would see in
- 58:11Speaker 6: the candy store when they're filling bags.
- 58:13Speaker 5: They had those and they were throwing them out into
- 58:15Speaker 5: the streets. Not this is the problem.
- 58:17Speaker 6: Was there's only like two hundred people in this town,
- 58:19Speaker 6: and a good seventy five percent of them are.
- 58:21Speaker 5: Like eighty, So none of these people were picking up
- 58:23Speaker 5: the candy. So then you just saw the streets lined
- 58:26Speaker 5: with cany and it was the good stuff.
- 58:28Speaker 6: We're talking chocolate, the fruity Tootsie rolls, all those things.
- 58:32Speaker 6: So then you have me going up and down the
- 58:34Speaker 6: street by cockets were so full of candy, and everyone
- 58:38Speaker 6: was laughing at me because I was like pushing children
- 58:40Speaker 6: out of the way, like as my about her cup.
- 58:44Speaker 6: But yeah, it just it made me really nostalgic from
- 58:46Speaker 6: the parades that grew up with.
- 58:47Speaker 3: There's not a lot of that here.
- 58:48Speaker 6: He don't throw candy in our parade liability, And I
- 58:51Speaker 6: get it, we don't want to hurt somebody. But I
- 58:53Speaker 6: remember the year they were trying to throw marshmallows and
- 58:56Speaker 6: I was like, okay, this is not it, this.
- 58:58Speaker 3: Is not There was a lot of candy in the announcers.
- 59:01Speaker 2: We were set up kind of right by the announcers,
- 59:03Speaker 2: and they were very concerned if there's a white line
- 59:05Speaker 2: on the street and you couldn't cross the white line
- 59:08Speaker 2: to get the candy.
- 59:08Speaker 3: And the whole time this this Karen is on the mic.
- 59:11Speaker 6: Don't cross for the white line, the line.
- 59:16Speaker 2: Like in her defense, though there was a ton of
- 59:18Speaker 2: horses in the parade, and I don't think she just
- 59:20Speaker 2: wanted the small children to get trampled.
- 59:22Speaker 5: Oh yeah, there is that.
- 59:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it's all part of growing up safety.
- 59:25Speaker 5: She also got a microphone and got some power.
- 59:31Speaker 3: At one point I looked at Nicoll. It's like, my god, relax,
- 59:35Speaker 3: you're ruining this.
- 59:38Speaker 2: All right, guys, We're gonna play a little Olivia Dean
- 59:40Speaker 2: for you. We'll be back in about two minutes and
- 59:42Speaker 2: forty seconds. We're gonna read this email that came in
- 59:47Speaker 2: over the past week.
- 59:48Speaker 3: It wasn't even an email.
- 59:48Speaker 2: It came in on our Instagram from Polly. And the
- 59:53Speaker 2: email has to do with hitting it. Well, what Jeremy
- 59:57Speaker 2: hitting it? What do we hit well?
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: I out about two minutes and forty seconds hitting.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: It Jery, Katy and Josh six one hundred.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: Well, he says, Hey, guys, I was leaving work after
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: a long day about a week ago, and while backing
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: out of my parking spot, I accidentally bumped my boss's
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: car kind of hard. I heard it, I felt it.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: I got out, looked at both vehicles. Honestly couldn't see
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: much damage. I drive a big pickup so my rear
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: bumper didn't really show anything. The next morning, my boss
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: came storming into the office because someone had scraped his car.
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: She's like, here's where it gets bad. He immediately accused
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: one of my co workers.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Oh oh, she says, they've never really gotten along, so
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: he was convinced it had to be them. My coworker
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: denied it over and over, but my boss wasn't buying it,
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: and I said nothing, Oh no parentheses, she put evil greny.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Now the whole office thinks my coworker did. The problem
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: is my truck is blue and the scrape on my
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: boss's cart is blue. To make matters worse, I already
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: had a dent in my rear bumper before this happened,
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: so if anyone really started digging, it wouldn't look great
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: for me. Part of me feels awful because an innocent
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: person is taking the blame. The other part of me
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: keeps thinking, meh, my boss already disliked them before this
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: and didn't exactly have time for them. If I confess now,
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: I could end up paying for the damage, getting in
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: trouble at work, and admitting I kept quiet while somebody
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: else took the heat.
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: Kind of what you did, though I know what they did.
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: She goes, before you guys ask, no, we don't have
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: cameras in the parking area. I could totally get away
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: with it.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Do I come clean and hope honesty counts for something?
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: Or is it too late now? And I should just
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: let this die? She says, I'm gonna change my name.
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: You guys can call me Polly.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: So there's Polly's dilemma, backed into the boss's truck. Somebody
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: else is getting blamed for it at the office, although
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: the boss and that person they don't already get along anyway.
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: I know, well, what you should do about this? I
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: kind of feel like we've all been in a position
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: where we have like ruined something or dented or something,
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: broke something, damn it something, and we just shut up
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: about it, right.
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: We just don't tell on ourselves.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you just shut up.
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: Really, I've been in that situation, not this one particular,
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: but yeah, this.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: One's you've ruined a couple marriages that.
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: No one needs to know about it. I tell right,
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: we speak up and bring it up now, all right?
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: So what should Polly do about this situation? Should she
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: go ahead and come clean?
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Or it sounds like this might just blow over, so
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: she should just let it die, is.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: Her quote at the end.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Here's Jessica Hi, Jazz Hi, good morning, well, good morning
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: to you.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Thanks for Colin. What do you what's your advice for Polly?
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: She absolutely needs to come clean. This is exactly what's
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: wrong with the world today. Takes responsibility for your actions,
- 1:03:08Speaker 8: grow up and come clean.
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: Yeah, the accountability part, right, Jessica, I'm with you. I'm
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: just like to completely, like let someone else take the
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: blame is crazy.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: To be totally do it, totally do it.
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: Oh, it's so bad. That's fine if nobody gets caught.
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: That's one thing that if someone else is getting in
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: trouble for what you did. Jessica, I'm with you one
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: hundred percent. She needs to come clean.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: Maybe that other coworker had it coming.
- 1:03:39Speaker 9: No, no, no, the truth always reveals itself.
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: People are texting in check the cameras again and in
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: case you missed it in the email, she said, before
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: you guys ask, we don't have cameras in the parking
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: lead area.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: I could totally get away with it.
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: Yeah, that was part of it.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: Yeah, so I kind of want to know what kind
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: of car the boss has too, like if it's real,
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: something really expense, what makes it which makes it even
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: more difficult, doesn't matter? Just go tell me, all right, Jess,
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: I have you down for tell the boss.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: Thank you for calling in. Very kind of you. Here's
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: Marky Mark. Hi, Mark, Hey, are you doing well? We're
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: super Dupe's buddy. What do you think Polly should do well?
- 1:04:20Speaker 9: Unfortunately, I also think she should tell the boss she's
- 1:04:23Speaker 9: in a bad situation now because she let it go
- 1:04:26Speaker 9: when it happened. She should have just walked in and said,
- 1:04:29Speaker 9: oh my god, I'm so sorry I accidentally hit your car,
- 1:04:32Speaker 9: and just the troubles we go through life. We try
- 1:04:36Speaker 9: to teach our kids these things, you've got to live
- 1:04:38Speaker 9: it too. You can't teach something and then living a
- 1:04:43Speaker 9: moral life or whatever.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: Maybe she doesn't have kids, she's not teaching anybody anything.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: It's just her.
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:04:50Speaker 9: Well, even then, there's not a lot sometimes we can
- 1:04:54Speaker 9: control in life, but we can control who we are,
- 1:04:56Speaker 9: and we can.
- 1:04:57Speaker 10: Be good people.
- 1:04:58Speaker 9: As they say, how would you like to be treated yourself?
- 1:05:01Speaker 9: And then plus whether you like the person or not,
- 1:05:03Speaker 9: the fact that someone else is taking heat and hurting
- 1:05:06Speaker 9: them makes it even worse. You know, if if he
- 1:05:10Speaker 9: had either way, she should just tell. And it's unfortunate.
- 1:05:13Speaker 9: But in our.
- 1:05:15Speaker 10: Society we do.
- 1:05:16Speaker 9: We have more crime. Everything's being stolen. I'm at the
- 1:05:18Speaker 9: supermarket and we have armed guards. I mean, our society
- 1:05:22Speaker 9: unfortunately has come to that in some places. And the
- 1:05:25Speaker 9: way to change that starts with each person, you know,
- 1:05:28Speaker 9: living better.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: Phil, This is good stuff.
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: No, Mark, I love that good stuff.
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: I still think you should play dumb. No, I knew
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: you know.
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: I think Mark, what you said, that's going to stay
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: with me a minute.
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: We don't have much control about things, but we do
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: have control about who we are.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: That's really good.
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: It's really good.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: She's a bad around it sounds like that's who she is.
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: Never rearview camera anymore, Jared.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: Mark, you are very wise.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: We appreciate you calling you in and spewing your wisdom. Yeah,
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: I still think I could err on the side. I've
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: had big trucks and if you hit stuff sometimes you're like,
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: I didn't even know really, So I think she can
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: be like b I had no idea. Really, I think
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: I think I think you're fine. I think you're fine.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: PAULI here's Heston.
- 1:06:13Speaker 10: Hi, guys, how are you well?
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: We're super dupes buddy. What do you want to say
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: to Paulie?
- 1:06:19Speaker 10: Yeah, I agree with everybody that's called previously. I mean,
- 1:06:23Speaker 10: I think you have a moral obligation. You damage someone
- 1:06:27Speaker 10: else's property, and if that happened to me, I would
- 1:06:31Speaker 10: want somebody to come clean. And the longer she doesn't
- 1:06:34Speaker 10: say anything, the worst is gonna get. So I think
- 1:06:37Speaker 10: she should just bite the bullet and let them know
- 1:06:39Speaker 10: and everything will kind of resolve itself after that.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess she can go in, you know, with
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: your tail between your legs and say, hey, you know
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: I've been sitting on this, I'm.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: So sorry that was that was me my bad. Yeah,
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: and then he'll fire.
- 1:06:55Speaker 10: I think the longer she doesn't do that, the worst
- 1:06:58Speaker 10: it's gonna get.
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: I think it's already too late, though, you think, Yeah,
- 1:07:03Speaker 6: I think that if she should have come clean in
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: the beginning, now it's she might get fired, right, don't
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: you think just for lying.
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: Hestin, thank you for your call is three for three
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: there on the line of you got to go in
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: and say something.
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: I think and here like I would say something because
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: of the karma thing. That you mentioned, because every bad
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: thing that happened.
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: To me, they're on out.
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: I would attribute back to me hitting my boss's car
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: and not telling them, Oh, this is my karma. Is
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: what I get? You know, like I would just go
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: through life like that. You think, no way to live life,
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: dear me, just thinking that bad karma is going to
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: come your way because you did something.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: You're just waiting to listen. I got a question about
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: the bad karma and how it works. So you did
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: one bad thing? Yeah, So does karma come back and
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: just do one bad thing to?
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: Too? Medium, No, I don't know how it works.
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: I don't know how karma works. That's not how it works.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: You do one bad thing, then it comes back to
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: you once. That's all you.
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: Get that what if it's like something bad doesn't happen
- 1:08:04Speaker 6: for a while, then you're just waiting for something bad
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: to happen.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: This way to she did one bad thing? Can she
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: turn around today and do two good things to cancel
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: out the one bad thing? Can you cancel out the
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: bad karma like today's She's gonna go volunteer at like
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: a homeless shelter and go read to orphans? Okay, and
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: this will cancel all this out.
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: Then you go find your coworker a new job and
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: then you're good.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: Nah, they'll be fine. All right, guys, thanks for having
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: some fun with us. This is why we do the
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: show Wants to Know segment. We get to read things
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: going on in your life. Give you some answers. Pollie,
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: the people have spoken, everyone except me.
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: You need to go in and probably tell your boss,
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: yeah that you did this, apologize, swallow your pride, swallow
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: all the nonsense, and just say, hey, I did it.
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: Fess up all right.
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: Yeah, it's gonna be bad for you though because you waited,
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: or just play them.
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: Well. We like to give you a little brief sports
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: update near at mcsweee hundred for Jeremy, Katie and Josh
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: and Joshi Boy is our resident sports expert. What you
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: got over there?
- 1:09:13Speaker 7: This is one of the silliest things I have ever heard.
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: Since the dawn of social media, there have been influencers
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: and there are a billion and a half social media
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: influencers who want to do the health crazes.
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: Hey, I'm a health influencer.
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: And one of the craziest things these guys try to
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: do is they always try to one up each other.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Right, I got the health hacks, I got the better
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: health hack.
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: Well, one of these people is trying to do it
- 1:09:37Speaker 7: at the World Cup. A social media influencer he calls himself,
- 1:09:41Speaker 7: has come under fire because he was at the World Cup.
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: It was the Morocco versus Haiti game and he bought
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: a seat to run a five k during the game,
- 1:09:51Speaker 7: and he wanted to run a five K in his seat,
- 1:09:54Speaker 7: so he would stand on the chair and run in place.
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: And try to run a weird k. That guy and well, this.
- 1:10:01Speaker 7: Is the thing, and it's like, you're so close to
- 1:10:04Speaker 7: a million followers, get me to a million followers, Guys,
- 1:10:07Speaker 7: this is the.
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: Video that's gonna do it. And people around him hated.
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: Yeah, he was bumping and the video is crazy because
- 1:10:15Speaker 7: he was bumping into people, spilling drinks, knocking their popcorn
- 1:10:18Speaker 7: out of hands, and they were pissed at this guy
- 1:10:21Speaker 7: and I wasn't he is losing followers now.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: It co completely did the opposite thing of it.
- 1:10:27Speaker 7: People around the seating area were saying, Hey, I want
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: to fight you for what you're doing. Comments underneath the video.
- 1:10:34Speaker 7: He thought he people would be so happy and they're
- 1:10:36Speaker 7: like I'm so pissed you. I want to fight people
- 1:10:38Speaker 7: for the people that you pissed off. And the influencer
- 1:10:41Speaker 7: just now replies, hey man, you can't win them all.
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: You can't make everybody happy.
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: What an idiot.
- 1:10:46Speaker 6: People paid all that money to go see a World
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: Cup match and there.
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: He is for thousands of dollars. Feel like security would
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: escort him out and show this is the thing.
- 1:10:55Speaker 7: FIFA praised him, came out and good for you are
- 1:11:00Speaker 7: doing it in the time of the game, like the FIFA.
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: But what the heck? Why would they praise him for that?
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: I don't know. This is why I don't watch soccer.
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: Dumbest thing I've ever heard of. This is why we
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: need to wrap this stupid soccer stuff up.
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: Hey, just till Sunday, jer you know, yes what the
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: FIFA is epic.
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: Katie hit us with some of that local flare. Girl.
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: We've got some good stuff today because the Artemis two
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: crew is going to.
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: Speak at Red Rocks.
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: Are you cereal?
- 1:11:30Speaker 6: I know this is so exciting and it's just one
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: dollar a ticket.
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: I'm sure they won't last.
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: So August third is when it's going to be happening
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: out in Morrison, and they're gonna have highlights from the
- 1:11:41Speaker 6: mission as well as.
- 1:11:42Speaker 5: A question and answer periods.
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: You can ask Jeremy and Reid what they experienced stuff there.
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: But they're going to have a stem fare beforehand also,
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: and it is to celebrate the Rocky Mountain Region's contribution.
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: To their trips. So tickets are going to sale. Yeah,
- 1:11:57Speaker 5: I am.
- 1:11:58Speaker 6: Really excited for this. At noon is when you can
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: pick up your tickets. But again, I feel like this
- 1:12:03Speaker 6: is something that's going to sell out immediate.
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: I want to go to this.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and I want to dress in full astronaut gear,
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: like the white spacesuit with the helmet and everything and
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: just sit there front row.
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: That won't make it weird.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm on the moon.
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: Yeah, and I hope it's on a ninety five degree day.
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: Yeah. We have a problem, a big problem.
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: In my own sweat name is Jeremy.
- 1:12:33Speaker 5: I do feel like a lot of people are.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: Going to want to go. This is a big deal. Yeah.
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: They've got some videos and pictures that have never been
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: seen before from their trip and everything.
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: Yeah, and we all are just so excited that it happened.
- 1:12:43Speaker 6: I mean, after it happened, everybody loved these guys, So.
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: Can you name the other two besides reading Jersey only
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: because you that's the extent Victor and Christina.
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: I mean, there you go. You know, so you really
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: are a fan. So make sure you get your tickets again.
- 1:12:58Speaker 6: Noon on Friday is when they hit. And then how
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: about we do the mile high status in Denver?
- 1:13:05Speaker 5: It is setting down again.
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: Yeah, the new location of Denver's mile high marker at
- 1:13:10Speaker 6: the state Capitol. They now have it on the seventeenth step.
- 1:13:14Speaker 6: So this marker is going to join the older attempts.
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: There's three of them on the fifteenth step, the eighteenth step,
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: and the thirteenth step. They took those measurements back in
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: nineteen oh nine, nineteen sixty nine, and two thousand and three, respectively.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: They're all over the place.
- 1:13:29Speaker 8: They are.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: For those of you who have no idea what Katie's
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: talking about, mile high city, Right, they put the mile
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: marker on the steps of the capital of the capitol,
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: marketing a mile high.
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: Yes, and apparently it's been on the wrong step a
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: few times.
- 1:13:42Speaker 5: Hey, they have been moving it around. But here's the thing.
- 1:13:44Speaker 6: It's not because they did it wrong or because the
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: earth has moved.
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: That's what I thought, breathing.
- 1:13:49Speaker 6: Because technology has advanced so much, they can get a
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: much better reading and they can be much more accurate
- 1:13:55Speaker 6: about where that mile high actually lays.
- 1:13:57Speaker 5: So that's the story that they're given that maybe the.
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: Last couple of guys were literally a mile high, and
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: they're like, yeah, thirteen step bro, fine.
- 1:14:07Speaker 5: Man, Notice you can't put it past them.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: I smoke it, Fatty.
- 1:14:11Speaker 6: I love how the news spot on the seventeenth step
- 1:14:14Speaker 6: there it is marked by a very official stroke of
- 1:14:17Speaker 6: a sharpie right now.
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:14:19Speaker 6: Yeah, Because the original plan was to install that plaque
- 1:14:22Speaker 6: on the seventeenth step by Colorado Day on August first,
- 1:14:26Speaker 6: because that is our one hundred and fiftieth birthday as well,
- 1:14:28Speaker 6: so they wanted to make it a big thing.
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: They didn't get it.
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: Done in time. Apparently it's a little harder to measure
- 1:14:33Speaker 6: a mile high than we thought. They're going to delay
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: it to next year, so they're still going to do it.
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: They're not just going to do it, just not going
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: to do it on August first. So there's that, But
- 1:14:41Speaker 6: there's a new step.
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: If I was part of the Sharpie marketing team, I
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: would be all over this this smoking.
- 1:14:47Speaker 5: Are you kidding me?
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: Yeah? So official?
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: They used the sharpie exactly, get one sharpie?
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: How do you do it?
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: Sleep it in?
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: Yeah, but that's definitely a great story because now we
- 1:14:58Speaker 6: have four plaques.
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: It's funny.
- 1:15:00Speaker 5: Yes, here there's my high.
- 1:15:02Speaker 6: Five questions, two players, one winner.
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: I'm a winner.
- 1:15:07Speaker 6: Who's getting crushed today?
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: I can't wait to crush you people.
- 1:15:12Speaker 6: It's time to play Katie Crush with JKJ.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: It definitely is and it looks like Abby made it through. Hi, Abby,
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: good morning, Hi, good morning, good morning. Tell us a
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: little bit about yourself. Abby.
- 1:15:27Speaker 8: I'm Abby. I'm from Thornton, Colorado, and I'm mama to
- 1:15:31Speaker 8: a one and a half year old little boy.
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: Very nice. What's the little boy's name? His name is Lucas,
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: Little Luca Lucas. Now, do you have a job or
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: you stay at home?
- 1:15:43Speaker 7: Mom?
- 1:15:43Speaker 8: Almost stay at home mama?
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: Good for you job ever, Yes, it's the best job.
- 1:15:49Speaker 9: I want to treat it for anything.
- 1:15:51Speaker 5: Especially when they're that little. It's my favorite.
- 1:15:53Speaker 10: Oh yeah, they're great.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: What are you making for dinner tonight?
- 1:15:57Speaker 8: Probably spaghetti?
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: Oh I want to be your son, I know.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: Yeah, do you do double meat in your spaghetti? Sauce
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: where you do the ground beef and the sweet Italian sausage.
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: Sometimes always that's the way you do it. Abby, that
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: you should make turn that in to always do that. Okay, Yes,
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: all right, Katie.
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: Abby, bring that mama bear out. We are ready to play. Hey,
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: all right, get out of here.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: So Katie is gonna get Are you going to speaker
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: phone or bluetooth?
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: First of all, Abby, it's a little hard to hear.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: You just got a crappy phone, all right, So Katie
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: goes into a room where she can't hear anything. I
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: come up with the questions, so there's no cheating. Best
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: out of five wins.
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: Ties go to Katie, Are you ready to play?
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: I am all right.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Who is Ernie's best friend Bert? What Broadway musical has
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: songs that are titled the Music of the Night, Angel
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: of Music and Chandelier Crash?
- 1:17:07Speaker 10: I'm going to pass.
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: I do not know, ass.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: Third question, what long running TV show consists of people
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: stranded on an island and voting off the.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: Weakest link lost lost? Fourth question?
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: In the Chronicles of Narnia, how did the children first
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: enter the magical world.
- 1:17:36Speaker 9: Through the wardrobe?
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: And your fifth question going back to a TV show
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: called Married with Children?
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: Where did al Bundy work?
- 1:17:49Speaker 9: I do not know that one either, I am.
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: I'm sorry, don't apologize. All right, we're gonna get Katie
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: back in here and.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: See how you did their sweet Abby?
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: Hi, well, hi Katie.
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: Let me make a note here on how many Abby
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: got Ray, and then we'll dive into it.
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: All right, you ready, I'm ready.
- 1:18:12Speaker 5: You've had a lot of time to think about it.
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: I'm nervous.
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: Actually, I scrambled and got it.
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: Okay, you got this, Abby?
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: You still have spaghetti in your future?
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: Okay, Katie, who is Ernie's best friend Bert, Abby also
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: said Bert.
- 1:18:35Speaker 5: Hooray, Abby, you got this?
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: What Broadway musical has songs that are titled the Music
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: of the Night, Angel of Music and Chandelier Crash? I
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: don't know cats No, Abby said, pass it's the very
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: famous Phantom of the Opera.
- 1:18:56Speaker 5: It's on my list. It's on my list of things.
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: To so good saying it soundtracks banging to Okay, really yeah,
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: you will? You will dance to that in the shower.
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: Okay, don't think that shower won't even be on or nothing.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: You'll just wander in your bathroom. Get in the shower
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: and dance bust a moon nothing what long running TV
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: show consists of people stranding on an island and voting
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: off the weakest link.
- 1:19:26Speaker 5: Like like what Survivor?
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: Yay, Abby, you said last sad day for you? Fourth question?
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: And the Chronicles of Narnia? How did the children first
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: enter the magical world?
- 1:19:44Speaker 5: The bed stick?
- 1:19:47Speaker 6: You know?
