- 0:58Speaker 4: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have your favorite
- 1:04Speaker 4: juicy reporter, Australian tall cutie, Jacques Peterson. Star of unpopular
- 1:12Speaker 4: opinion Instagram and popular on X and Threads.
- 1:18Speaker 1: How are you? Welcome back to Juicy Scoop. Thank you.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I'm actually not on Threads. You're not? Oh, you're scared? No,
- 1:24Speaker 1: it's just boring. It's just nothing fun happens there. It
- 1:27Speaker 1: all goes down on X still, unfortunately. But yeah, thanks
- 1:30Speaker 1: for having me back. People are probably going to be like, Heather,
- 1:33Speaker 1: what is with you and the Aussies?
- 1:34Speaker 4: Because I just had Luke and Sassy on. And I mean,
- 1:40Speaker 4: just watch, book me guys, book me in Australia and
- 1:43Speaker 4: I'll just be with all these cuties.
- 1:45Speaker 1: How's everything going with you? It's good.
- 1:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I don't know. Having fun, loving LA. I mean, I
- 1:51Speaker 1: can't go out anywhere without people telling me, like when
- 1:53Speaker 1: I tell them I've been in LA now for like
- 1:55Speaker 1: two years, they're like, oh, you came here just as
- 1:57Speaker 1: a diet. It used to be so much better. And
- 1:59Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, thanks. Well, I'm having fun. So you're
- 2:02Speaker 1: having fun. Yes. I enjoy it. Everything's okay. You didn't
- 2:06Speaker 1: fall in the sinkhole.
- 2:07Speaker 5: No.
- 2:08Speaker 1: But I mean, there's like three or something now.
- 2:10Speaker 4: What about the, are you living across from the apartments
- 2:13Speaker 4: that are housed all the coyotes?
- 2:15Speaker 5: No.
- 2:16Speaker 1: That's not near you either?
- 2:18Speaker 5: No.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I'm near Runyon Canyon. I'm hiking with the influencers and
- 2:22Speaker 1: having a marcher and, you know, living my best life.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I love that. Good. Pro LA.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Um now in la as well is the valley proper
- 2:33Speaker 4: and the valley we have talked about it and you
- 2:37Speaker 4: said i need to come on and give my opinion
- 2:42Speaker 4: and some would think it was a popular opinion and
- 2:44Speaker 4: some might think it's an unpopular opinion what is your
- 2:47Speaker 4: opinion of the 818 the valley show this season.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Uh i love it i think it's close to the
- 2:54Speaker 1: best show on bravo next to salt lake city i
- 2:57Speaker 1: think The hate that it's getting is so overblown and hysterical.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I mean, I think this show is so real, so raw.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I love how dark it is. It's like the dark,
- 3:10Speaker 1: seedy underbelly of, you know, the millennial dream. You know, like... My.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Mom used to refer to certain neighborhoods in the Valley
- 3:20Speaker 4: as the bowels of the Valley. Some might think this
- 3:23Speaker 4: way is the bowels of the Bravo, but I.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I agree. I've watched every episode.
- 3:33Speaker 4: You know, if it gets you, I always say, if
- 3:34Speaker 4: it gets us talking, then it's doing its job.
- 3:37Speaker 1: People cannot stop talking about it. It's crazy. So it's
- 3:39Speaker 1: doing its job. They're talking about how much they hate it.
- 3:41Speaker 1: And it's like thousands of comments of like, we hate this. Well,
- 3:43Speaker 1: why are you watching it? I mean, what I love
- 3:46Speaker 1: about this show is like, I love the Kristen postpartum stuff.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Like when she was wearing, it was earlier on in
- 3:54Speaker 1: the season, she was wearing a diaper and And she
- 3:57Speaker 1: was freaking out because she was bleeding in the diaper
- 3:59Speaker 1: and she wanted to leave the body. And she wanted
- 4:01Speaker 1: to leave discreetly. And then she's getting up to leave
- 4:06Speaker 1: and everyone's getting up going, why are you leaving? Like,
- 4:09Speaker 1: don't go. And then she has this huge freak out
- 4:11Speaker 1: of like, oh my God, I'm just trying to leave
- 4:12Speaker 1: like quietly. I don't want to like announce to everybody
- 4:15Speaker 1: that I'm wearing a bleeding diaper. That stuff, it's just
- 4:19Speaker 1: so real. And like, that's what you want from reality.
- 4:23Speaker 1: That's the real shit. Like people say that they want
- 4:26Speaker 1: real reality TV and then you give it to them
- 4:28Speaker 1: in this and then they complain about it.
- 4:30Speaker 4: And you know what, if this is, You know, they
- 4:33Speaker 4: said 16 and pregnant really helped keep teen pregnancy down.
- 4:38Speaker 4: The Valley is keeping Gen Z and millennial pregnancy down.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Okay, I get that.
- 4:43Speaker 4: But also, listen, it is a great lesson to learn
- 4:48Speaker 4: to maybe do it the Lala route. Be careful who
- 4:51Speaker 4: you procreate with. Don't just hop on the first dick
- 4:55Speaker 4: because you've got two eggs left. Like, be really smart
- 4:58Speaker 4: about it. Plan ahead.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Like, plan ahead.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Like, if you want to be a mom and you're,
- 5:04Speaker 4: you know, coming close to 30, like, start to plan
- 5:07Speaker 4: your thing now where there's, you know, saving your eggs
- 5:10Speaker 4: or really looking for a quality partner. Like, don't wait
- 5:13Speaker 4: till the last minute because then you're going to end
- 5:16Speaker 4: up with Luke and Luke wants to fish.
- 5:19Speaker 1: How does this guy.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Not appreciate that he's on a fucking poster, that he's
- 5:23Speaker 4: on a top TV show with no entertainment acting.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Skill, nothing. He's on a TV show and he's bitching
- 5:31Speaker 1: about it.
- 5:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:32Speaker 1: One thing they won't acknowledge is, you know, he complains
- 5:34Speaker 1: about being in LA. He wants to go back to,
- 5:36Speaker 1: where's he from? Like Oklahoma or something, Ohio, something like that.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Somewhere where they fish. And it's like, Kristen wants to
- 5:44Speaker 1: be like, We're in L.A. because we're on a television show. Yes.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And we're not going to make this same money back
- 5:50Speaker 1: in Oklahoma or Alabama. While you're catching fish. Yes. Like,
- 5:54Speaker 1: this is why we're here. When the show runs out,
- 5:56Speaker 1: clearly we can look at moving somewhere else.
- 5:58Speaker 5: Right.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Also, hello, California. He complains that he can't go hiking.
- 6:02Speaker 1: You're in California.
- 6:03Speaker 4: You're in California. First of all, everything is within two
- 6:07Speaker 4: hours away. You can ski, go to the beach.
- 6:09Speaker 1: You can surf. There's fish everywhere. You can climb a mountain.
- 6:13Speaker 1: There's fish in lakes. There's fish in lakes. It's kind
- 6:16Speaker 1: of like the best place on earth.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Has nobody told him other places to go?
- 6:22Speaker 1: Maybe he doesn't know how to get out of the valley.
- 6:24Speaker 1: There's Tahoe, there's Big Bear. There's Arrowhead. Come on, dude.
- 6:31Speaker 1: He has it all. And what I love about this
- 6:33Speaker 1: show too is, to your point about Lala, I think
- 6:36Speaker 1: this show models so many different types of relationships and parenting.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Because you've got Lala who did it the surrogate route.
- 6:43Speaker 1: You've got... You've got the gay couples, you know, one
- 6:47Speaker 1: of the Zach and his boyfriend, they're kind of in
- 6:49Speaker 1: an open relationship slash 90 day fiance situation. You have
- 6:55Speaker 1: Janet and Jason who actually have the most normal marriage,
- 6:57Speaker 1: even though everyone hates them. They have this super normal.
- 7:00Speaker 4: But also she had to throw in, I'm also bisexual
- 7:02Speaker 4: and he lets me sleep.
- 7:04Speaker 1: With women on occasion. I'm like, first of all, you're
- 7:06Speaker 1: not sleeping with anybody.
- 7:07Speaker 4: You guys are not going out unless it's to go
- 7:10Speaker 4: to Dave and Buster's.
- 7:13Speaker 1: This came out of nowhere. Well, I think she was before.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I guess it didn't come out of nowhere because there
- 7:17Speaker 1: was a scene.
- 7:18Speaker 4: She had like a small cameo on a Valley episode
- 7:20Speaker 4: where she talked about being bi or something.
- 7:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:23Speaker 4: So I guess she truly does eat box. But I
- 7:25Speaker 4: just kind of like, it just felt like it just
- 7:28Speaker 4: came out of nowhere.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 1: But I mean, you've got them. You've got, I mean...
- 7:33Speaker 1: Danny and Nia. Danny and Nia are.
- 7:35Speaker 4: The stars of the show. I don't care what anyone says.
- 7:38Speaker 4: If they were not there, they really wouldn't have any
- 7:42Speaker 4: drama at all.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Yeah, but they're also... Okay, this is another one of
- 7:46Speaker 1: my unpopular takes. Danny and Nia, for those that are
- 7:48Speaker 1: not listening, but you're going to stay with... I know
- 7:50Speaker 1: you're watching.
- 7:50Speaker 4: If you're not watching, it doesn't matter because I explained it.
- 7:53Speaker 4: They are Miss America, former Disney star turned reality stars,
- 7:58Speaker 4: and they are... patriarchal Christian, you know, four kids. She's
- 8:05Speaker 4: a trad wife and he has a drinking problem and
- 8:08Speaker 4: drinks too much and gets completely inappropriate. And then because
- 8:12Speaker 4: Janet dared to acknowledge it, she's the most hated. I mean,
- 8:15Speaker 4: she's probably, I feel like last year, the hate's gone
- 8:18Speaker 4: down a bit, but I feel like at some point
- 8:20Speaker 4: she was as hated as like Tom Sandoval and Wes
- 8:22Speaker 4: Wilson just for acknowledging Danny's behavior. And what is so
- 8:27Speaker 4: crazy with this show is like, She was vindicated this
- 8:31Speaker 4: season because Danny comes off terribly.
- 8:34Speaker 1: This season was, I mean, it's horrific. How he treats
- 8:39Speaker 1: his wife, how he speaks to people. And also he
- 8:42Speaker 1: is hiding his drinking. He keeps trying to drink off
- 8:45Speaker 1: camera and hide it and then lies about it. They're like, oh,
- 8:47Speaker 1: did you just drink water tonight? And he's like, yeah,
- 8:49Speaker 1: I did. And then they play the footage back of
- 8:51Speaker 1: him trying to like sneak into the closet to take
- 8:54Speaker 1: a shot.
- 8:54Speaker 4: I recently saw an interview with Kristen. where Kristen was
- 8:59Speaker 4: a big defender of them and their marriage. And she's like,
- 9:02Speaker 4: I love them. It's what we aspire to be, you know,
- 9:05Speaker 4: because of course she wants the whole thing. So she
- 9:08Speaker 4: sees them and she was like, they have four kids. And,
- 9:11Speaker 4: you know, part of making this marriage work is like
- 9:14Speaker 4: honoring your man. And so she's trying to do that.
- 9:16Speaker 4: But then she's like, like, come on, like take your
- 9:19Speaker 4: fishing rod and shut up your asshole.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Like she's just so sick of her guy.
- 9:23Speaker 4: But she did say in this interview, just so you know,
- 9:28Speaker 4: in all the time that I spent with them where
- 9:31Speaker 4: we would just be hanging out in the day like
- 9:33Speaker 4: with our kids, she did not see any behavior like
- 9:39Speaker 4: what we saw in the show.
- 9:41Speaker 1: So I think she was trying, what she's trying to
- 9:44Speaker 1: say is.
- 9:46Speaker 4: She wasn't happy how he was treating Nia, how he
- 9:49Speaker 4: was speaking about her, how clearly alcohol played a role.
- 9:52Speaker 4: She's like, I'm not, going to say if someone is
- 9:54Speaker 4: an alcoholic or not, does alcohol get in the way
- 9:57Speaker 4: of his behavior?
- 9:58Speaker 1: Yeah. Does he, maybe have some issues with alcohol?
- 10:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:02Speaker 4: I was very disappointed to see that behavior. So she
- 10:06Speaker 4: hadn't really witnessed it when she was defending him on
- 10:08Speaker 4: the show. So I thought that was interesting because they're
- 10:10Speaker 4: only seeing what they're physically seeing.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I think she's seeing the audience turn because there was
- 10:15Speaker 1: a scene in the show, which was really interesting, where
- 10:18Speaker 1: Brittany and Kristen sat down and Brittany's kind of like,
- 10:21Speaker 1: how close really are you to Nia? And Kristen's like,
- 10:24Speaker 1: we're close. Like we talk every day. To me, it
- 10:26Speaker 1: sounds like they have a TV show alliance where they're
- 10:29Speaker 1: talking every day about the show. I don't think they're
- 10:32Speaker 1: that much real friends. And I think Kristen has seen
- 10:34Speaker 1: Danny's behavior. It's pretty indefensible. I think she's read the comments.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Lala called her out on that. She said, Kristen's reading
- 10:40Speaker 1: the comments and in the comments. And now I think
- 10:42Speaker 1: Kristen's pivoting. I think that's what that is. Yeah. I mean,
- 10:46Speaker 1: you can't defend it.
- 10:48Speaker 5: No.
- 10:48Speaker 4: Even if he was like my brother, I would be like,
- 10:50Speaker 4: I'm not being able to defend you.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Like, you've got to look at this.
- 10:53Speaker 4: And I've already talked about what he needs to say
- 10:55Speaker 4: on the show and just complete take ownership of like,
- 10:57Speaker 4: I was a dick and I'm glad I got to
- 10:59Speaker 4: see it because now I have a chance to change
- 11:01Speaker 4: my life and save my family.
- 11:03Speaker 1: But like, I don't know if he will. People keep
- 11:06Speaker 1: making these false equivalences, though, where they're like, well, everyone
- 11:09Speaker 1: else drinks, but it's like, Yeah. Everyone else drinks, but
- 11:12Speaker 1: people don't behave like you behave when you're drinking. And
- 11:15Speaker 1: then Nia is constantly, it drives me crazy. She is
- 11:19Speaker 1: like micromanaging him. Like he's her fifth child in every scene.
- 11:23Speaker 1: And she's always playing up to the cameras. She's always like, Danny,
- 11:27Speaker 1: we're mic'd. Danny, we're a big, happy family. Aren't we
- 11:30Speaker 1: a really happy family? We're just the perfect family, aren't we?
- 11:33Speaker 1: She reminds me of them. Let's have fun, Daniel. Daniel,
- 11:37Speaker 1: we're going to go on a roller coaster now.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 11:40Speaker 1: And he's like, stop it. You're being performative. She's like, Daniel,
- 11:44Speaker 1: what do you mean? Don't you remember what I was
- 11:47Speaker 1: like before we had four kids? Well, she's like the
- 11:50Speaker 1: seeding get out. She's like the seeding get out when
- 11:53Speaker 1: the maid comes in and she's like, no. no no
- 11:56Speaker 1: no like that is mia in every scene with danny
- 12:00Speaker 1: it's crazy and he's trying to do it like he's
- 12:03Speaker 1: getting confronted on the show and she swoops in and
- 12:06Speaker 1: she's like daniel i'm your wife calm down walk away
- 12:10Speaker 1: it's like stop like you're getting in the way of
- 12:12Speaker 1: anybody moving forward and they're the ones that won't move
- 12:15Speaker 1: forward like janet and now lala as well because lala's
- 12:19Speaker 1: on janet's side they've been villainized so much like they're
- 12:22Speaker 1: the problem that won't move on but it's like Janet
- 12:24Speaker 1: apologized to Nia right at the start of the show and, like,
- 12:28Speaker 1: doesn't even bring it up. And then they goad her.
- 12:30Speaker 1: And it's like, anytime Janet shows up anywhere, like, it
- 12:34Speaker 1: cuts to the confessionals. Everyone's like, oh, God, here's Janet. Like,
- 12:38Speaker 1: they're obsessed with Janet, but they act like Janet's obsessed
- 12:41Speaker 1: with them. It's ridiculous.
- 12:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:43Speaker 4: So, okay, let's talk about their looks at the reunion.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:50Speaker 4: This is kind of interesting because at least with housewives,
- 12:54Speaker 4: we've recognized that they get a color palette. And I
- 12:58Speaker 4: know from when I was friendly with housewives, they have
- 13:00Speaker 4: to get their dresses approved. Like they'll send like three
- 13:03Speaker 4: dresses and then they'll go, yeah, wear this one. So
- 13:06Speaker 4: they can't just show up in a random color. I
- 13:10Speaker 4: don't think that happened here because there's a lot of brown,
- 13:13Speaker 4: but there's not....
- 13:15Speaker 1: I don't know how.
- 13:17Speaker 4: The color palette came, so let's just go through it, okay,
- 13:20Speaker 4: with these looks. We have Lala, who is drop-dead gorgeous,
- 13:27Speaker 4: has a perfect body. This dress, I believe it's like
- 13:31Speaker 4: maybe even a vintage Hervé Leger. I don't know, but
- 13:36Speaker 4: it's a perfect mother-of-the-bride dress. It is too conservative for her.
- 13:42Speaker 4: I think I think it's a great dress for anybody. Like, honestly,
- 13:49Speaker 4: this is what Brittany should have worn.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 13:51Speaker 4: This is absolutely what Brittany should have worn because it's
- 13:55Speaker 4: off the shoulder. It's black, black tight down to the bottom.
- 13:59Speaker 4: So it's very forgiving. You're sitting on a couch. It's
- 14:02Speaker 4: very forgiving. I just think someone like Lala should have
- 14:05Speaker 4: been in like sexy green satin or something.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Maybe Lala and Brittany should have swapped dresses. Absolutely.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Lala and Brittany should have. Let's go to right to Brittany.
- 14:14Speaker 4: This is Brittany's dress. A lot of people just couldn't
- 14:17Speaker 4: believe that she wore this, chose this. Is she rage
- 14:21Speaker 4: baiting us at this point or what? I have, this
- 14:26Speaker 4: was an awful choice for Brittany. She, you know, we,
- 14:30Speaker 4: she shared her journey. When the show first started, season
- 14:34Speaker 4: one of The Valley, it started with her having her
- 14:37Speaker 4: under her chin lipoed out.
- 14:38Speaker 5: Yes.
- 14:39Speaker 4: This season is, I got the mommy makeover. And she
- 14:44Speaker 4: has a boob reduction, which the boobs look just as big.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I died when I saw it. I was like,
- 14:49Speaker 1: oh my God, her boobs are busting out.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Literally, they look exactly the same size. This is just
- 14:52Speaker 4: not a good dress for her. The color does nothing
- 14:55Speaker 4: for her.
- 14:55Speaker 1: You know what's hard? With knowing what looks good on camera,
- 14:58Speaker 1: it's like you need to, if you're going to wear
- 15:00Speaker 1: a reunion dress or whatever, you need to have Polaroids
- 15:03Speaker 1: taken of it to see what it looks like in
- 15:04Speaker 1: a photo. You have to have someone film you in
- 15:06Speaker 1: it because sometimes you just look in a mirror and
- 15:08Speaker 1: you think, oh, I look great.
- 15:09Speaker 4: You have to sit on the couch and you have
- 15:11Speaker 4: to go. And if you don't know where you're sitting
- 15:13Speaker 4: on the couch before you wear the dress, you better
- 15:16Speaker 4: do the right angle, the left angle. close to Andy,
- 15:19Speaker 4: way back in the back. I always feel like if
- 15:22Speaker 4: I was doing a reunion thing, because I have nice legs,
- 15:25Speaker 4: I would do a long dress with a big slit
- 15:27Speaker 4: where I could arrange my legs, and I'd have something
- 15:30Speaker 4: kind of flowy around the midsection, a little bit of boob.
- 15:35Speaker 4: So you do leg, you would do leg and boob.
- 15:39Speaker 4: I would do a little leg and boob, but then something,
- 15:42Speaker 4: because the midsection's so hard to hide, like when you're
- 15:45Speaker 4: sitting there for eight hours. And so this is, so
- 15:50Speaker 4: people went crazy over it and hopefully, hopefully she was
- 15:55Speaker 4: doing this so that she'd be the most to talk
- 15:57Speaker 4: about reunion dress.
- 15:58Speaker 1: I don't know, but I need to know. I need,
- 16:01Speaker 1: you know what?
- 16:01Speaker 4: The Netflix stock, I need to see the Netflix stock
- 16:04Speaker 4: on who was her stylist. How did she order this?
- 16:06Speaker 4: How did this come onto her body? Who did she
- 16:09Speaker 4: ask if this was a good choice and who said yes? Well,
- 16:13Speaker 4: I want to see the entire thing of how this
- 16:16Speaker 4: got to.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Be her look. Can I just say sidebar with you
- 16:19Speaker 1: mentioning her getting the chin lipo? I almost got chin
- 16:22Speaker 1: lipo during COVID and I had it, I had it
- 16:26Speaker 1: booked in and everything. And then the day before on
- 16:29Speaker 1: 60 Minutes, they did this expose of like doctors that
- 16:33Speaker 1: would like filming TikToks while they were doing surgeries. And
- 16:35Speaker 1: it was the exact clinic that I was going to
- 16:38Speaker 1: get the chin lipo. So I called and I canceled it.
- 16:42Speaker 1: And then also, I didn't even need the chin lipo.
- 16:44Speaker 1: It was just because it was COVID. I kind of
- 16:45Speaker 1: got fat and the weight had gone to my face.
- 16:48Speaker 1: And then when I got to L.A. and, you know,
- 16:49Speaker 1: started hiking and drinking, you know, green juices, I got skinny.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I didn't even need the chin lipo. I was just
- 16:55Speaker 1: COVID weight. Well, I think Michelle looks good. She looks good.
- 16:58Speaker 1: And I realized who Michelle reminds me of.
- 17:00Speaker 4: And you're too young to know this actress, maybe.
- 17:02Speaker 5: Oh, who?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Phoebe Cates. Oh, I love Phoebe Cates. I'm obsessed because of...
- 17:07Speaker 1: Which one of you bitches is my mother? Lace. Yes, Lace,
- 17:10Speaker 1: the miniseries. Which one of you bitches is my mother?
- 17:14Speaker 4: I saw that clip going viral on TikTok, and I go,
- 17:20Speaker 4: that's who Michelle is.
- 17:22Speaker 1: She could be Phoebe Cates' daughter. Yeah. We need to
- 17:25Speaker 1: bring Lace back, by the way. I don't know why
- 17:26Speaker 1: they haven't remade that.
- 17:28Speaker 4: For those of you who don't know, let me just
- 17:30Speaker 4: tell you a story of Lace. I was in high school.
- 17:33Speaker 4: We had just gotten, like, a VHS tape, okay? So
- 17:38Speaker 4: it was, like, every night.
- 17:40Speaker 1: But it was late. Like, I had to go to bed.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I had, like, finals. So it was a miniseries.
- 17:45Speaker 4: And so I remember I recorded it, and then I'd
- 17:47Speaker 4: come home from school and, like, watch it. And it
- 17:50Speaker 4: was about Phoebe Cates. There were three best friends, like,
- 17:56Speaker 4: in the 60s. And one of them got pregnant, which
- 17:58Speaker 4: is the worst thing that you could do. And they gave,
- 18:02Speaker 4: someone gave up the baby, but she, they kept a
- 18:05Speaker 4: pact that they were never going to say who was
- 18:07Speaker 4: the actual mother. And so the whole time you're wondering
- 18:10Speaker 4: who it is. Cause one has dark hair and looks
- 18:12Speaker 4: more like her, but.
- 18:12Speaker 1: You don't know. And I don't know why she hated
- 18:15Speaker 1: the mother. Well, then they flash because the mother gave
- 18:17Speaker 1: her up, but then they flash forward. And then she has, she's,
- 18:22Speaker 1: Now like a porn star.
- 18:24Speaker 4: Oh, right.
- 18:24Speaker 1: She's like a famous adult star, I think. I love that. Yeah,
- 18:28Speaker 1: and then she's tracking down. No, I think the mothers
- 18:31Speaker 1: reunite and they're trying to find her. They're trying to
- 18:33Speaker 1: find each other and then they have the confrontation where
- 18:35Speaker 1: she says, which one of you bitches is my mother? Yeah.
- 18:37Speaker 1: And you know there's a lace too where she searches
- 18:40Speaker 1: for her father.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Really?
- 18:42Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Yeah, in the Middle East. I've seen it.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Okay, Janet kills it in this navy dress outfit. She
- 18:50Speaker 4: is thin. She has tiny tits. This is low cut.
- 18:52Speaker 4: It's absolutely perfect. Now, I don't know how forgiving this
- 18:57Speaker 4: satin will be sitting on a couch, if it will
- 18:59Speaker 4: get wrinkly or not, but standing up, amazing.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Then we have Kristen. It's fine. It's gold. I don't
- 19:06Speaker 1: know what this color scheme is. Kristen is so pretty,
- 19:11Speaker 1: by the way.
- 19:11Speaker 5: Yes.
- 19:12Speaker 4: And, of course, Nia is gorgeous. Another mother of the
- 19:15Speaker 4: bride dress, and it looks cheap, and it's brown.
- 19:18Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 19:20Speaker 3: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 19:22Speaker 3: know about the drawer.
- 19:24Speaker 1: The drawer.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Just the one square before bed.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Or two, you know. Nobody's watching. You deserve a treat.
- 19:38Speaker 3: With eight flavours to choose from, you can choose the
- 19:41Speaker 3: flavour you favour with Cadbury Dairy Milk. I'm Darman, and.
- 19:51Speaker 1: This is What Happens Next.
- 19:52Speaker 5: Each week on the show, I sit down with extraordinary
- 19:55Speaker 5: people who have faced tremendous setbacks. And yet somehow have
- 20:00Speaker 5: found a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 20:06Speaker 4: I'm heading to the Emmys and I have police complaints
- 20:09Speaker 4: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 20:11Speaker 4: be taken from you, what would you.
- 20:12Speaker 5: Do if it was given back? Where did that need
- 20:15Speaker 5: come from where you thought that you had to succeed
- 20:18Speaker 5: in order to feel loved?
- 20:19Speaker 1: He said, I have a work dad.
- 20:21Speaker 5: I need a home dad.
- 20:22Speaker 1: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 20:27Speaker 5: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 20:30Speaker 5: go through. It's about what happens next.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 20:35Speaker 1: every day was. You're worth the work. Listen, Dara, I'm
- 20:38Speaker 1: not going to pull punches. You can use your voice
- 20:40Speaker 1: even if it's shaped.
- 20:41Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 20:45Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 20:55Speaker 4: Some people are so unhappy with the season that they're
- 20:58Speaker 4: missing Jax and calling for Jax's return.
- 21:04Speaker 1: I don't know. This scandal is juicy because.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Jax right now is now actually dating or seeing.
- 21:13Speaker 1: They were witnessed.
- 21:15Speaker 2: They're.
- 21:17Speaker 4: That was the year, her name's Lori Kay. She was
- 21:19Speaker 4: the publicist for Jax and Britney for 10 years.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Yes. Throughout their entire relationship. And a close friend of
- 21:24Speaker 1: Britney's too. Like, and a friend of the whole groups. Like,
- 21:27Speaker 1: they considered her a really good friend on top of publicist.
- 21:30Speaker 4: And I want to say right before they broke up,
- 21:33Speaker 4: there was like a photo and there was rumors that
- 21:34Speaker 4: there was something going on.
- 21:36Speaker 1: And Britney denied, it was like, oh my God, y'all
- 21:40Speaker 1: are crazy. And Zach defended as well, was like, Lori
- 21:43Speaker 1: would never do that. Like they all, yes. And I
- 21:45Speaker 1: thought it was BS too. I'm like, oh God, these
- 21:47Speaker 1: Bravo blogs making up stories again. And then it was true.
- 21:51Speaker 4: And then they just blatantly went to Cabo and had
- 21:54Speaker 4: done photos taken of them in a public, not in
- 21:57Speaker 4: a public, but in a resort, not a private home,
- 22:00Speaker 4: in a pool. And Vanderpump Rules Party had shared some
- 22:04Speaker 4: Reddit comments that Lori had written where she was like,
- 22:07Speaker 4: ask me anything a few years back about being a
- 22:10Speaker 4: publicist already. I'm like, why is a publicist sharing inner
- 22:17Speaker 4: thoughts about being a publicist.
- 22:19Speaker 1: On fucking Reddit? You're meant to be in the shadows.
- 22:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:22Speaker 1: And so she was like, Oh, this is what I,
- 22:24Speaker 1: you know, this is what I do.
- 22:25Speaker 4: And you know, um, when something happens or my client
- 22:29Speaker 4: says the wrong thing, I, this is how I, fix
- 22:32Speaker 4: the situation, this and that. So, you know, and I'm like,
- 22:38Speaker 4: I just want to say like, just like a, just
- 22:40Speaker 4: like a very average person. Yeah, I mean. So I
- 22:45Speaker 4: can get why if he gave her any attention, sorry,
- 22:48Speaker 4: why she just got like wet and horny for it.
- 22:50Speaker 1: He's charismatic.
- 22:51Speaker 4: And that they've known him for so long and she
- 22:53Speaker 4: might feel that in hanging out with him these last,
- 22:56Speaker 4: all these years that he has turned a new leaf.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Well.
- 22:59Speaker 4: And maybe she's telling herself like, oh my God, the
- 23:01Speaker 4: new Jacks. is so wonderful.
- 23:04Speaker 1: I will say I was at, I don't know, it
- 23:06Speaker 1: was a Christmas or a new year's party or something
- 23:08Speaker 1: over the holidays. And he was there and he was
- 23:11Speaker 1: not drinking and everyone else was drinking. He was not drinking.
- 23:14Speaker 1: He was sober. Um, he was trauma dumping a lot
- 23:18Speaker 1: on everybody, but he was on the straight and narrow
- 23:21Speaker 1: and he wasn't getting into any trouble and yeah. So,
- 23:25Speaker 1: and you know what he's done that is really, really smart, right?
- 23:28Speaker 1: It's kind of, it's kind of obvious that when they
- 23:30Speaker 1: got him off the Valley last season, cause things got
- 23:32Speaker 1: so dark and toxic, you could tell that it was
- 23:34Speaker 1: a little bit unofficially like, all right, if you just
- 23:36Speaker 1: keep your nose clean, so to speak, and like stay
- 23:38Speaker 1: out of trouble and just don't make any waves, you
- 23:43Speaker 1: could possibly come back. And there's so many people that
- 23:45Speaker 1: we've seen that have got dropped off of these shows
- 23:48Speaker 1: of housewives and stuff. And then they, you know, they
- 23:50Speaker 1: cause all this drama on social media and they go after,
- 23:53Speaker 1: they start podcasts and they trash the show and they
- 23:55Speaker 1: trash the producers. And then you're like, okay, well, you're
- 23:57Speaker 1: never going to get asked back now because you burned
- 23:59Speaker 1: the bridge. But I think he's played it really smart
- 24:02Speaker 1: where he's just gone away, went to rehab, worked on himself.
- 24:05Speaker 1: And now he's got a big juicy scandal. So like
- 24:07Speaker 1: he could be back. I think, I think he should
- 24:10Speaker 1: come back.
- 24:12Speaker 4: I think if they really are a couple, Brittany has
- 24:19Speaker 4: to say to herself, Of all the women that he
- 24:23Speaker 4: could be bringing around my son, at least I know
- 24:26Speaker 4: this person. She's of appropriate age. She's not some OnlyFans model.
- 24:32Speaker 4: She has a brain.
- 24:33Speaker 1: True.
- 24:33Speaker 4: She also has the ability to get my baby daddy
- 24:37Speaker 4: some fucking money so maybe I can get some child
- 24:40Speaker 4: support or.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Some payments of the preschool. Good point.
- 24:45Speaker 4: And then if she accepts it, if Brittany goes, To
- 24:51Speaker 4: the producers, I'm okay with filming with them. Again, he
- 24:55Speaker 4: gets a paycheck, a paycheck that she can now go
- 24:58Speaker 4: to the courts and say he is making money. So
- 25:01Speaker 4: therefore I deserve to get at least 25% of it
- 25:06Speaker 4: before taxes because we share one child together.
- 25:09Speaker 1: And it's fucking juicy. Yeah. I mean, this whole show
- 25:13Speaker 1: is about dissecting very complicated relationships in different forms. Like
- 25:17Speaker 1: we've seen it with, Michelle and Jesse working, you know,
- 25:20Speaker 1: their toxic marriage end and now them. So, yeah, this
- 25:24Speaker 1: would make sense. I think he's coming back and I
- 25:27Speaker 1: think this is what's going to happen. Danny and Nia
- 25:28Speaker 1: have to go, in my opinion. I think Danny and
- 25:30Speaker 1: Nia have to go. Because they won't own the drinking.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Or they bring on a couple that's, like, somewhat also
- 25:37Speaker 4: friends with them or in that vein.
- 25:39Speaker 1: I don't know. I just think with them trying to
- 25:42Speaker 1: do things off camera, hide the drinking, Nia going, we're mic'd. Um,
- 25:48Speaker 1: not taking accountability.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Well, if Kristen is also starting to jump ship, which
- 25:52Speaker 4: according to this interview sounded a little like it, then
- 25:55Speaker 4: they really don't have someone that's high up on the
- 25:59Speaker 4: totem pole standing up for them.
- 26:01Speaker 1: So we'll see. The reunion should be good. Um, is this,
- 26:06Speaker 1: this Thursday is the last episode?
- 26:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:08Speaker 1: I mean, and then the reunion starts.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Yes.
- 26:10Speaker 1: So we're right. Halloween party looks awful. They're in horrible
- 26:13Speaker 1: scary outfits. They all look, I think something very dramatic happens,
- 26:17Speaker 1: so stay tuned. So this is an article written by you. Yes.
- 26:22Speaker 4: Jacques Peterson, U.S. senior entertainment reporter for the Daily Mail, exclusive.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Tom Sandoval suffered months of abuse from model ex-girlfriend who
- 26:30Speaker 4: vowed to ruin his life so he could become the
- 26:34Speaker 4: next— so she could become the next Ariana Maddox. I
- 26:37Speaker 4: have spoken about this, and I did— hear of this
- 26:42Speaker 4: possible thing that once things started to go downhill, she
- 26:45Speaker 4: wanted to get her story out there in hopes that
- 26:49Speaker 4: she could get some type of traction and, press and
- 26:53Speaker 4: possible work from the fact that she dated Tom Sandoval.
- 26:57Speaker 4: Of course, this doesn't hold any kind of weight in
- 27:01Speaker 4: this world as he and Ariana, but tell us what you, um,
- 27:05Speaker 4: discovered in, in reporting on this.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Well, look, this is one side of the story. So
- 27:09Speaker 1: we have not really got her side yet. Um, but
- 27:13Speaker 1: one of his bandmates spoke to the daily mail and,
- 27:16Speaker 1: you know, he had his band that Tom Sandoval and
- 27:18Speaker 1: the most extras and they got, um, they got a
- 27:21Speaker 1: lot of clout cause they went on, uh, America's Got Talent.
- 27:24Speaker 1: They were like a breakout on that. So they were
- 27:26Speaker 1: touring and she was touring with the band and the
- 27:30Speaker 1: bandmates said that he saw her be like physically violent
- 27:33Speaker 1: to Sandoval multiple times that she was, uh, partying a
- 27:38Speaker 1: lot on tour. And apparently they weren't cause you know,
- 27:40Speaker 1: they treat it very professionally. They've got to be up there.
- 27:42Speaker 1: You know, they're all middle-aged, you know, it's not Motley Crue. Like,
- 27:45Speaker 1: you know, they're, they're performing to like Bravo fans around. Um,
- 27:50Speaker 1: And that, you know, she controlled his social media, that
- 27:53Speaker 1: she could control, you know, allegedly, according to them, what
- 27:58Speaker 1: he did and that she would threaten to ruin him
- 28:01Speaker 1: and that she said that she would get the Ariana
- 28:03Speaker 1: treatment if it ever came out. Of course, you know,
- 28:06Speaker 1: we reached out to her. She did not respond. We
- 28:09Speaker 1: still need to hear her side of the story.
- 28:13Speaker 4: I'm surprised she didn't respond to you because I know
- 28:15Speaker 4: that she Appear to be in communication with, you know,
- 28:20Speaker 4: quote unquote bloggers, content creators, people that kind of cover
- 28:23Speaker 4: this world.
- 28:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:24Speaker 4: We're getting her side and we're getting like videos from
- 28:27Speaker 4: her and stuff.
- 28:28Speaker 1: So maybe she.
- 28:30Speaker 4: Is in a different place than she was a few
- 28:32Speaker 4: weeks ago and is kind of evaluating everything more.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Maybe her lawyers have said, I mean, Tom, her and
- 28:37Speaker 1: Tom aren't getting official interviews. You know, I had to
- 28:39Speaker 1: speak to Tom to verify everything, but he didn't give
- 28:41Speaker 1: us an interview. I just had to like go through
- 28:43Speaker 1: the facts of things and can you verify that, you know,
- 28:46Speaker 1: this is accurate. So neither of them are actually giving interviews,
- 28:50Speaker 1: but I am surprised she didn't, you know, respond. But yeah,
- 28:54Speaker 1: to me, it sounds like the picture that Tom's side
- 28:58Speaker 1: is painting is that he was in an abusive relationship
- 29:01Speaker 1: for all this time. Of course, she has also claimed
- 29:03Speaker 1: abuse from his side. They haven't, they did not grant
- 29:06Speaker 1: her restraining order. She tried to get a restraining order
- 29:08Speaker 1: against Tom. The courts did not grant it. Whereas with Tom,
- 29:12Speaker 1: they granted his. So he has a restraining order against
- 29:14Speaker 1: her and her father because she and the father were
- 29:17Speaker 1: living with Tom. So, and then there's a dispute about,
- 29:20Speaker 1: because she's saying that she was on the lease. And so,
- 29:22Speaker 1: I don't know, there's, they're fighting over the home and,
- 29:25Speaker 1: It's messy. It's messy and it's sad.
- 29:27Speaker 4: I think, you know, I do these stories and I
- 29:31Speaker 4: kind of see what people chatter about on my YouTube
- 29:35Speaker 4: or whatever and what they kind of don't. And I
- 29:38Speaker 4: think because to the average person, they've never seen this
- 29:41Speaker 4: girl on TV.
- 29:43Speaker 1: She wasn't on the Vanderpump. She wasn't on the Valley.
- 29:47Speaker 4: She just appeared in like some social media and stuff
- 29:49Speaker 4: here and there. So I just think there isn't the
- 29:53Speaker 4: chatter that it would be if this was a regular
- 29:55Speaker 4: cast member.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Also, it's dark and sad and.
- 30:00Speaker 1: You know, he never really gained the love back. No,
- 30:04Speaker 1: but I will.
- 30:05Speaker 4: I think he was hoping if he was to come back,
- 30:08Speaker 4: I think he hung on to this fucked up relationship,
- 30:12Speaker 4: hoping that it would get better. And if he did
- 30:14Speaker 4: get back on TV, he would be able to show
- 30:17Speaker 4: a new loving relationship to try to win his audience
- 30:21Speaker 4: back that watch him on TV. I think it's one
- 30:24Speaker 4: of the reasons why he stayed in something that was bad.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Yeah. And I think he probably also thought I already
- 30:29Speaker 1: had one, you know, tumultuous breakup in the media with
- 30:32Speaker 1: Ariana Maddox, you know, the messiest. This is so embarrassing.
- 30:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Then to have another one, because then of course, if,
- 30:37Speaker 1: you know, if according to him, she's making threats and saying,
- 30:40Speaker 1: I'm going to ruin you and be the next Ariana.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Like he's probably going to be scared to come out again.
- 30:44Speaker 1: That's just his side of the story. Yeah. Making that clear.
- 30:46Speaker 1: She has her own side. We don't know the truth
- 30:48Speaker 1: really specifically, but yeah. From a PR perspective, this is
- 30:52Speaker 1: so bad because, you know, he's not on the Valley,
- 30:55Speaker 1: but he has worked consistently since Vanderpump Rules went off.
- 30:58Speaker 1: He did The Traitors, which I think he got, wasn't
- 31:01Speaker 1: he like top three? He got far. Yeah, and he
- 31:04Speaker 1: was fun to watch. Yeah, people liked him on that.
- 31:06Speaker 1: He did America's Got Talent, where he did well and
- 31:08Speaker 1: he was touring with the band. I mean, it's an actual,
- 31:10Speaker 1: it's like. He did Special Forces. Yeah, he did Special Forces.
- 31:13Speaker 1: I think he did House of Villains. And he has
- 31:15Speaker 1: another show that was already filmed before this, some Netflix
- 31:18Speaker 1: survival show. So he's been doing shows back to back.
- 31:21Speaker 1: And now to have a story like this out, which
- 31:23Speaker 1: obviously is really dark and there's allegations of abuse from
- 31:26Speaker 1: both sides, like, you know, it could be hard to
- 31:30Speaker 1: keep getting work when you have been. So I don't know.
- 31:33Speaker 1: I hope he clears it up. I miss, you know,
- 31:36Speaker 1: I miss him on the Valley. I miss Sheena. I
- 31:38Speaker 1: miss the whole old gang. I never even wanted Vanderpump
- 31:41Speaker 1: Rules to be you know, rebooted.
- 31:42Speaker 4: Well, I think Vanderpump Rules, they were essentially, like, all
- 31:47Speaker 4: really kind of, like, naturally funny.
- 31:49Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:50Speaker 4: And I think The Valley, they're not very funny. I
- 31:54Speaker 4: think Zach's funny. Zach is the only one that's kind
- 31:56Speaker 4: of funny. And, I mean, actually, Lala can be funny.
- 32:00Speaker 1: It's just like... It's not, but it is a darker show.
- 32:02Speaker 1: It's a darker, more realistic show.
- 32:04Speaker 4: And I just don't feel like that they, if they
- 32:06Speaker 4: were not on this show, that many of them would
- 32:07Speaker 4: not be hanging out.
- 32:09Speaker 1: At all. They would not be going on trips together
- 32:11Speaker 1: and things like that. No. Like, they're not a real
- 32:14Speaker 1: group the way Vanderpump was. No, I think some of
- 32:18Speaker 1: them are a real group. I mean, like, Zach's known
- 32:20Speaker 1: Brittany for 10 years. Right, Zach and Brittany. I don't
- 32:22Speaker 1: think Danny and Nia are a real part of the group, no. No,
- 32:25Speaker 1: I think they were cast. Yeah, but I think a
- 32:27Speaker 1: lot of the other ones are. I wonder how did
- 32:30Speaker 1: they get in there? Was it Jack?
- 32:31Speaker 4: Because Jack's... it really put the whole thing together. So
- 32:35Speaker 4: Jax somehow must have found them or knew of them.
- 32:38Speaker 1: They must've just needed some more new couples. Yeah.
- 32:41Speaker 4: And found them because I knew that Jax and Jesse
- 32:43Speaker 4: had a long history.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Yeah. So that made sense. They definitely are.
- 32:48Speaker 4: Going back to like Jesse really, um, of Jesse and Michelle,
- 32:55Speaker 4: that has been the coolest, most beautiful thing of reality
- 32:59Speaker 4: TV of like the honesty of, A breakup of a marriage,
- 33:04Speaker 4: how she, you know, the fact that they're like friends
- 33:09Speaker 4: and that she is not bothered by, really bothered by
- 33:12Speaker 4: his new relationship, but can honestly convey that it's weird
- 33:16Speaker 4: to see him be affectionate with someone because she just,
- 33:18Speaker 4: she had told herself the last couple of years, oh,
- 33:21Speaker 4: I guess he's just not an affectionate guy. And then
- 33:23Speaker 4: she realized, no, he was affectionate with me at one time.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Well, he's affectionate with someone else with the right person,
- 33:29Speaker 1: but not with me. But in the beginning he was
- 33:31Speaker 1: with her too.
- 33:31Speaker 4: So it's like, it's being really honest with yourself, which
- 33:34Speaker 4: is hard, which is sad that like you, you both
- 33:38Speaker 4: fell out of love with each other. He truly didn't,
- 33:40Speaker 4: wasn't sexually attracted to you or fell in love with
- 33:43Speaker 4: you because there was so much hurt on either side.
- 33:45Speaker 4: But now you can toast to your divorce and be
- 33:51Speaker 4: grateful that, Hey, we were on this TV show together.
- 33:53Speaker 4: We have a way to make money. There is no
- 33:56Speaker 4: weird jealousy. There isn't this hatred that we saw the
- 33:59Speaker 4: first two seasons. And they've been able to survive and
- 34:02Speaker 4: both come out really good.
- 34:04Speaker 1: It's really touching.
- 34:05Speaker 4: It's actually really like the coolest thing about the show
- 34:08Speaker 4: is Michelle and Jesse.
- 34:10Speaker 1: But that's why the show is so good. It has
- 34:12Speaker 1: so many highs and lows. I think people are uncomfortable
- 34:14Speaker 1: with the show because I think it's almost too real
- 34:16Speaker 1: that it's holding a mirror. And I think people... Look,
- 34:20Speaker 1: we can all judge like Luke and Kristen and some
- 34:22Speaker 1: of the other couples, but I feel like we've all
- 34:24Speaker 1: kind of been there as well in a relationship. Like
- 34:26Speaker 1: we've all had those moments. Yeah.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Okay.
- 34:29Speaker 4: So Bethany had another small business snafu happen.
- 34:35Speaker 1: As you know, she's the number one influencer. She created
- 34:36Speaker 1: an influencing.
- 34:38Speaker 4: She created the internet, Instagram, wearing things and giving people
- 34:41Speaker 4: advice on what to buy, what not to buy, what works,
- 34:43Speaker 4: what's the level, all of it. So she was sent
- 34:47Speaker 4: this jewelry by a small business owner called the Candy Lace.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Follow them on Instagram.
- 34:55Speaker 4: And she did a couple videos where she would mention, say, oh,
- 35:00Speaker 4: and this, and it was her necklace, this girl's, the
- 35:03Speaker 4: Candy Lace necklace, but she would never call it the
- 35:06Speaker 4: Candy Lace and also refer to it as other jewelry
- 35:12Speaker 4: that she had already a partnership or a part ownership in.
- 35:16Speaker 1: So she could get like the affiliate marketing bonus. But
- 35:20Speaker 1: it was hers.
- 35:21Speaker 4: So then the candy lace girl first was so excited
- 35:25Speaker 4: to see her wearing it. Then horrified to hear that
- 35:28Speaker 4: she didn't name her. And was like trying to get
- 35:32Speaker 4: a hold of her. Like, could you please, you know,
- 35:34Speaker 4: thank you, but could you tag me? Could you say
- 35:36Speaker 4: what the name is?
- 35:38Speaker 1: She refused. So then....
- 35:41Speaker 4: The candy lace girl was like, well, then I'm going
- 35:44Speaker 4: to use some of her videos to say, like, Bethany
- 35:46Speaker 4: loves it. You know, oh, my God, look, Bethany's wearing
- 35:48Speaker 4: my stuff. She then received a letter from Bethany. People saying,
- 35:54Speaker 4: please remove all of Bethany's content from your feed or
- 36:00Speaker 4: you can pay $ 30, 000 to use it.
- 36:02Speaker 1: It's for fee. And so the candy lace person came
- 36:09Speaker 1: forward with it.
- 36:11Speaker 4: Um, and the last, the other time that she did
- 36:14Speaker 4: something similar was with Dino Manza's daughter had a shoe line.
- 36:18Speaker 4: That girl sent the shoes to Bethany. Bethany wore them and,
- 36:25Speaker 4: you know, and said, uh, here's a dupe from Amazon
- 36:31Speaker 4: with a link that she would get an affiliate fee from.
- 36:33Speaker 4: And then she was like, Hey, listen, you dumb bitch.
- 36:37Speaker 1: You know, it was sold out.
- 36:39Speaker 4: So when it's sold out, I can't make my audience
- 36:42Speaker 4: angry about it. So I told him about one that
- 36:45Speaker 4: was a tenth of the price who copied your design
- 36:48Speaker 4: on Amazon.
- 36:49Speaker 1: That's the way business works. And I'm like, why wouldn't
- 36:53Speaker 1: you just say it? Let them go on a waiting list.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Let them look for another pair of shoes on that
- 36:57Speaker 4: site that they might even like more. You're literally directing
- 37:03Speaker 4: them to And also, we don't know if that was
- 37:06Speaker 4: made ethically or what.
- 37:08Speaker 1: So that's a whole nother thing. I mean, and people
- 37:11Speaker 1: tried to defend her, tried to say, well, you know,
- 37:13Speaker 1: why not show the dupe? No.
- 37:16Speaker 4: Like, how would you feel if you invented something and
- 37:18Speaker 4: somebody mass copied it and then you gave that $ 300
- 37:22Speaker 4: gift to somebody and they wore it and they were like,
- 37:24Speaker 4: don't buy this. Wear the mass copy over here that
- 37:27Speaker 4: you'll get not one cent from. Like, I'm so glad
- 37:30Speaker 4: she called her out. And now this woman's calling her out.
- 37:34Speaker 4: And just people need to know.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Who Bethany is. Yeah. Well, one, they should call her
- 37:39Speaker 1: out because then if she isn't going to tag correctly,
- 37:42Speaker 1: they may as well get some clout and have Juicy
- 37:44Speaker 1: Scoop talk about it. Of course. And go viral on TikTok.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Get something out of it. Yeah. And, you know, not
- 37:50Speaker 1: to be political, but I know this comparison has been
- 37:53Speaker 1: made before. Bethany is very Trumpian in how she does everything.
- 37:58Speaker 1: And it's like she behaves on social media. I'm not
- 38:01Speaker 1: going to say above the law. She's not breaking the law,
- 38:04Speaker 1: but she... She acts like just normal societal norms like
- 38:07Speaker 1: don't apply to her. Yes. And like that she's on
- 38:11Speaker 1: a different level of how she operates and moves through
- 38:14Speaker 1: life compared to everybody else. And there is never any accountability.
- 38:18Speaker 1: She will never apologize for anything like certain other people.
- 38:22Speaker 1: And not only will she not apologize, it's your fault
- 38:26Speaker 1: for saying something about it. And she'll put it back
- 38:28Speaker 1: on you. And then she'll be like, you're welcome. Like she...
- 38:30Speaker 1: You know, like the ego, it is so beyond anything. Also,
- 38:34Speaker 1: this screenshot you used, it's like, she always looks like
- 38:38Speaker 1: she's manic and crazy. That looks like some vagrant broke
- 38:42Speaker 1: into your house in LA and tried on your clothes
- 38:45Speaker 1: and you walked in and you're like, excuse me? And
- 38:48Speaker 1: then they stopped stunned.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Yeah, so here she's wearing it and- The actual jeweler wrote,
- 38:55Speaker 4: I'm having a really hard time with my work being
- 38:57Speaker 4: miscredited and omitted from sourced brands after initially offering to
- 39:01Speaker 4: help and having me send this product.
- 39:07Speaker 1: It felt intentional.
- 39:08Speaker 4: So that was what the whole thing was.
- 39:10Speaker 1: And it's called, I think, yeah. What is this? Candy
- 39:15Speaker 1: Lace Jewelry. Yeah, it's Candy Lace Jewelry is the name.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Candy Lace Jewelry. But anyway... Well, do you remember when
- 39:23Speaker 1: she started the influencing thing, she would make a big
- 39:27Speaker 1: deal about, I'm not getting paid for any of this.
- 39:29Speaker 1: I'm the accidental, yeah. Yes. Like I'm just sharing things organically.
- 39:33Speaker 1: And then slowly she started doing the paid ads. And then,
- 39:37Speaker 1: you know.
- 39:37Speaker 4: Well, now she does this thing where she'll be like,
- 39:40Speaker 4: I just have to tell you about what the fuck
- 39:41Speaker 4: happened with this hair dye.
- 39:43Speaker 1: I just got my hair dyed. Look at this. The worst.
- 39:46Speaker 4: Like, why is it so hard to find good hair dye?
- 39:49Speaker 1: And then like a month later, she's like, let me
- 39:50Speaker 1: tell you about this hair dye. Yes.
- 39:52Speaker 4: And then you realize this deal was done way before
- 39:54Speaker 4: and she plotted it, which is fine.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:57Speaker 4: Which is why she, you know, is the smartest bitch
- 39:59Speaker 4: in the world and knows it all. But also I'm like,
- 40:03Speaker 4: I almost feel like the arrogance of her. I feel
- 40:08Speaker 4: like she's well aware that this is what's keeping people
- 40:10Speaker 4: talking about her and she doesn't care at this point.
- 40:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:13Speaker 4: She's not looking to be a nice person. You know,
- 40:17Speaker 4: or like help people or whatever. At this point, she
- 40:19Speaker 4: is just like, fuck it.
- 40:20Speaker 1: But I think people also need to understand that her brand,
- 40:23Speaker 1: she sells her brand as I'm the most authentic, truthful person.
- 40:26Speaker 1: She's not. Everything is staged in advance to sell something
- 40:29Speaker 1: like she'll pretend that she has a problem. Why can't
- 40:31Speaker 1: I find some good ice cream? There's no good ice cream.
- 40:33Speaker 1: And then there's a brand deal. She's not. I mean,
- 40:35Speaker 1: she says this is on the level. my God, you
- 40:37Speaker 1: guys won't believe it's the best ice cream ever. It's
- 40:39Speaker 1: a paid ad. She doesn't genuinely think that. So if
- 40:42Speaker 1: you want to keep following her and loving her, it's fine.
- 40:45Speaker 1: But it's not real. She's not authentic at all. She's
- 40:50Speaker 1: playing you. She's scamming you.
- 40:52Speaker 4: And I know everyone says she'll never go back to
- 40:54Speaker 4: reality TV. She'll never do the Golden Girls. I'm telling you,
- 41:00Speaker 4: don't be shocked if the following season she does it
- 41:05Speaker 4: and she's just like, you know what, I'm bored of
- 41:08Speaker 4: working by myself.
- 41:09Speaker 1: I want to be with other people. She'll justify it somehow,
- 41:12Speaker 1: but she will go back on. I mean, if her
- 41:14Speaker 1: views go down or something.
- 41:16Speaker 4: And if that shows a hit, which I think it
- 41:17Speaker 4: will be, of course they'd love to have her.
- 41:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:20Speaker 4: And, you know, they're not going to pay her $ 10
- 41:23Speaker 4: million an episode like she claims she's going to need,
- 41:25Speaker 4: but she.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Will just somehow.
- 41:28Speaker 4: Be like, I'm just.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Doing it for fun. She'll make a cameo and then
- 41:31Speaker 1: she'll bring up the ratings and she'll be like, look,
- 41:33Speaker 1: it was the highest rated episode ever because I was
- 41:35Speaker 1: on it. And that's why they're being greenlit for season three.
- 41:38Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 41:39Speaker 4: Yes. Yes.
- 41:42Speaker 1: Okay. Let's talk about Real Housewives of OC.
- 41:47Speaker 4: You know, this one is getting a lot of criticism.
- 41:51Speaker 1: It is. And also not a lot of talk. Which
- 41:54Speaker 1: I don't know if it's worse.
- 41:55Speaker 4: Would you like to be highly criticized or just not
- 41:57Speaker 4: be talked about much at all?
- 41:59Speaker 1: The ratings for it are actually really good though. I
- 42:01Speaker 1: saw the rate and it's one of the higher rated shows.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Here's kind of my take on this. Look, it's not
- 42:06Speaker 1: an explosive season or anything like that. But I think
- 42:09Speaker 1: for the most part, when it comes to like the
- 42:11Speaker 1: Housewives especially, but a lot of Bravo shows, they're all
- 42:14Speaker 1: kind of the same thing. Like sometimes you get an exceptional,
- 42:18Speaker 1: like a Monica Garcia, Reality Von T's Salt Lake City
- 42:22Speaker 1: thing where it's just explosive and everyone has to tune in.
- 42:24Speaker 1: But for the most part, the shows are kind of
- 42:26Speaker 1: the same thing. And it really just comes down to
- 42:29Speaker 1: do I like these group of women and do I
- 42:31Speaker 1: like the setting of where it's filmed?
- 42:34Speaker 4: Right, and when you've been watching it for so long,
- 42:35Speaker 4: there's just certain shows like that that are just like
- 42:37Speaker 4: a weird comfort.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:39Speaker 4: And you're like, yeah, it's kind of dull, but like, yeah,
- 42:41Speaker 4: I know them and I like the settings.
- 42:43Speaker 1: I'm invested in all of them. I mean, you know,
- 42:44Speaker 1: people get up online and they're like, oh, it needs
- 42:46Speaker 1: to be canceled. It's the worst thing I've ever watched.
- 42:48Speaker 1: I'm like, it's actually fine. It's like any other Housewives show.
- 42:52Speaker 1: You're completely overreacting. I think the cast is really good.
- 42:56Speaker 1: You know, this new girl that they have, Carmella, I
- 43:00Speaker 1: love that she's here because this is like a season 20.
- 43:02Speaker 1: This is a bit of a anniversary season. I know
- 43:05Speaker 1: that they're getting like, you know, Quinn Frye does a cameo.
- 43:08Speaker 5: Who's Quinn?
- 43:08Speaker 1: Quinn with the wig. Oh, Quinn. Quinn. Quinn's back in
- 43:14Speaker 1: Tammy Knickerbocker. Oh, my God. Those are people, those are classics.
- 43:18Speaker 5: Classics.
- 43:19Speaker 1: They bring all those people back. And what I like
- 43:21Speaker 1: about Carmella is she reminds me of an old school
- 43:24Speaker 1: OC wife in that she has these really obnoxious, spoiled kids. Yeah.
- 43:29Speaker 1: It felt a little Lynn Curtin-ish. Yes, it totally felt
- 43:31Speaker 1: Lynn Curtin. She has these kind of like, this isn't
- 43:34Speaker 1: a criticism, she's a beautiful girl, but like, She has
- 43:36Speaker 1: these sort of tacky hair extensions and her style feels
- 43:39Speaker 1: very outdated OC. She was part of WWE and Playboy magazine,
- 43:45Speaker 1: which are also two kind of like 2000s relics. Like
- 43:48Speaker 1: everything about her screams like 2006 when OC started. So
- 43:53Speaker 1: I kind of think she's like a perfect person for
- 43:55Speaker 1: season 20. Brilliant. Yes, I agree. I like it. And I,
- 44:00Speaker 1: you know, I love Emily and Gina.
- 44:01Speaker 4: And also she's so desperate to be on the show.
- 44:05Speaker 4: That she has this big house in San Diego, but
- 44:07Speaker 4: she has to drive an hour and a half to
- 44:09Speaker 4: rent this other house.
- 44:11Speaker 1: For $ 35, 000. It's so clearly rented.
- 44:13Speaker 4: No, she said it was rented for $ 35, 000 a month.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Because it looks like staged furniture and everything.
- 44:17Speaker 4: Yeah, because she has to somehow put herself in the
- 44:19Speaker 4: OC to work on the show, which in the end,
- 44:22Speaker 4: do you blame her to be on a TV show?
- 44:23Speaker 1: I think a lot of people would rent a property.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Meredith Marks does. Meredith Marks doesn't live in Utah. She
- 44:28Speaker 1: lives in New York and she rents it. And didn't
- 44:30Speaker 1: Katie rent too? Yeah.
- 44:31Speaker 4: And like try to stay in there and. Um, yeah,
- 44:34Speaker 4: I get it. Like you have an opportunity to be
- 44:36Speaker 4: on the show.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Have you seen Katie's podcast now? Oh my God.
- 44:41Speaker 4: She, first of all, listen, I get it. I mean,
- 44:45Speaker 4: you were on the show for a year and a half.
- 44:47Speaker 1: I get it.
- 44:48Speaker 4: Let's talk about for the rest of our lives, be
- 44:49Speaker 4: mad about it, scream racism, all the things. But I
- 44:53Speaker 4: am like ready for the next episode of that thing
- 44:55Speaker 4: to be like, I.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Have something to tell you.
- 44:58Speaker 4: Remember in episode four of season of my season, When
- 45:03Speaker 4: we went to get ice cream, do you remember that?
- 45:06Speaker 4: What you don't know is that I ordered chocolate chip
- 45:09Speaker 4: originally and then a producer came to me, nobody knows this,
- 45:13Speaker 4: nobody knows this, and said, hey, could you order green
- 45:18Speaker 4: tea ice cream?
- 45:20Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what they said. They wanted me to order
- 45:22Speaker 1: green tea ice cream. Why?
- 45:24Speaker 4: I don't know because predominantly Asians like green tea. And
- 45:29Speaker 4: I had to sit there as the person of color
- 45:34Speaker 4: and tell myself, I don't know what to do in
- 45:38Speaker 4: this situation. Do I go with the chocolate chip or
- 45:41Speaker 4: do I fold to the patriarchy, the white patriarchy that
- 45:46Speaker 4: wants me to order green tea ice cream?
- 45:49Speaker 1: This is an exclusive. I've never told anyone this before.
- 45:52Speaker 1: I mean, that is, for you guys that haven't heard
- 45:54Speaker 1: the podcast, that is the podcast. I mean, there was,
- 45:57Speaker 1: it is the biggest reaches. It's every week.
- 45:59Speaker 4: It's like, let me tell you another microaggression Asian thing
- 46:04Speaker 4: that may or.
- 46:05Speaker 1: May not happen. You know? Wait, did I also tell
- 46:10Speaker 1: you what happened? What? What happened, Katie?
- 46:14Speaker 4: We went to Mendozino Farms. It's, a lot of people
- 46:17Speaker 4: don't know, it's- A kind of a cute lunch place.
- 46:22Speaker 4: They have a chinois salad.
- 46:26Speaker 1: They have a chinois salad. Stop it. They did not. Yes.
- 46:30Speaker 1: They got catering from there one day.
- 46:32Speaker 4: And they're like, we have just a few salads here.
- 46:38Speaker 1: We have a Cobb.
- 46:39Speaker 4: We have a Southwest barbecue and we have a chinois. Katie,
- 46:43Speaker 4: would you like the chinois? That was cut from the season.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Why, Andy Cohen? Why was a chinois salad cut from
- 46:50Speaker 1: the season? Ask Emily that. Ask Emily that.
- 46:54Speaker 4: Why did Gina have an open house and serve sushi?
- 46:59Speaker 6: Why?
- 46:59Speaker 1: Why was she doing appropriation to try to sell a house?
- 47:04Speaker 4: Why was she talking about feng shui when she's a
- 47:07Speaker 4: white woman?
- 47:10Speaker 1: I mean, literally, she accused Emily of villainizing Persian culture
- 47:17Speaker 1: because when Emily pulled out the lie detector, remember when
- 47:21Speaker 1: Emily put them on the lie detector? Yeah, but her mother-in-law,
- 47:24Speaker 1: they're Persian. It was some Persian New Year or something.
- 47:28Speaker 1: So Katie said she villainized Persian culture by having the
- 47:31Speaker 1: lie detector on the Persian New Year. I mean, it's
- 47:38Speaker 1: so ridiculous. It's so ridiculous. I feel like saying Sutton,
- 47:43Speaker 1: let the mouse go. Her fans are turning on her, too,
- 47:46Speaker 1: because she had all these people that hate the OC
- 47:50Speaker 1: that rallied behind her. Well, that are holding racist flags.
- 47:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Like, everything's racism, blah, blah.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Blah, blah.
- 47:55Speaker 1: But even they're leaving comments. I feel like it's just
- 47:57Speaker 1: a TV show with some housewives that are thirsty. Can
- 47:59Speaker 1: we just? Yeah. It's not that deep. Yeah, yeah. But
- 48:03Speaker 1: I'm looking at the comments and they're like, Katie, I
- 48:06Speaker 1: was a fan of yours, but this is a bit much.
- 48:08Speaker 1: So I would dial it back if I was her.
- 48:10Speaker 1: But then if she doesn't talk about OC, that podcast
- 48:12Speaker 1: isn't going to get any downloads. Well, no, of course. Yeah,
- 48:14Speaker 1: it's fine. There's a look. You're welcome, as Bethany would say.
- 48:18Speaker 4: You're welcome. I just gave you a big thing. Some
- 48:22Speaker 4: people felt that the scene with Jen, where she is
- 48:26Speaker 4: crying to her son, Grayson, who got a speeding ticket
- 48:29Speaker 4: going 105 miles an hour. That she had this moment.
- 48:33Speaker 4: A lot of people felt it was a very planned
- 48:35Speaker 4: out moment. So I don't believe, you know, that we
- 48:39Speaker 4: know the producers push them to talk about things.
- 48:41Speaker 1: There is no typed out script. We all agree with that.
- 48:44Speaker 4: But there are definitely ways that before they're while they're
- 48:47Speaker 4: setting up the lights in your kitchen, you can go
- 48:49Speaker 4: in the bedroom with your kid and say, we're going
- 48:52Speaker 4: to come down and we're going to talk about how
- 48:54Speaker 4: things are tough because your dad is not here all
- 48:56Speaker 4: the time. we're doing this because ryan and i figured
- 48:59Speaker 4: out that this is a way to make ryan look
- 49:01Speaker 4: really good and we already filmed it at this other
- 49:04Speaker 4: weird store okay and in that he said he came
- 49:08Speaker 4: off great because he was like look it's sad that
- 49:11Speaker 4: your ex isn't around that their dad's not around and
- 49:14Speaker 4: i wish he was around more so now i don't
- 49:17Speaker 4: look like i'm a stepdad overstepping but it also showing
- 49:20Speaker 4: I'm a great dad on my own because I didn't
- 49:23Speaker 4: even know he had a child.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Yeah, neither did I.
- 49:26Speaker 4: Then they just showed Ryan's daughter, and I'm like, I
- 49:28Speaker 4: thought he was like a single bachelor. that took on
- 49:31Speaker 4: this woman that he found doing squats at the gym
- 49:35Speaker 4: and like fucked her in.
- 49:36Speaker 1: The steam room. And now five of her kids live
- 49:39Speaker 1: in his house. Like I was like, how?
- 49:42Speaker 4: So then he comes out and he's like, you know,
- 49:44Speaker 4: she's like, look, if you don't want to go to
- 49:47Speaker 4: school next year, maybe we can get you some acting gigs.
- 49:50Speaker 4: So I need you to come downstairs and we're going
- 49:53Speaker 4: to start crying about your day. Because they came in
- 49:55Speaker 4: and they've been separated and not living together for three years.
- 50:00Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 50:00Speaker 1: So how is it that now suddenly this 17-year-old is like,
- 50:03Speaker 1: I miss my dad. It was just really weird.
- 50:07Speaker 4: So then they start crying, but then people that do
- 50:09Speaker 4: believe this is real felt it was a very narcissistic
- 50:12Speaker 4: mother thing to do because then she was like.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Do you know if anything, people are unkind to you?
- 50:18Speaker 1: People are mean to you at school? Why?
- 50:21Speaker 4: I don't know, mom, maybe because you're on TV and,
- 50:25Speaker 4: you know, talking about boning your boyfriend that you met
- 50:28Speaker 4: at the gym every day. And I have to like
- 50:30Speaker 4: be at school with these people. So yeah, they can
- 50:33Speaker 4: be dicks and that's why life's been hard. But I
- 50:36Speaker 4: remember what you told me to say, say it's about
- 50:38Speaker 4: how dad's not here.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Um, yeah, I could see that. I don't know. I
- 50:43Speaker 1: do think that they obviously set up conversations and then
- 50:45Speaker 1: sometimes you can't predict how that conversation is going to go.
- 50:48Speaker 1: He did look genuinely upset. And I do think she
- 50:53Speaker 1: is a kind, like, soft. She does seem very soft
- 50:56Speaker 1: and nice and, like people have said, kind of ditzy.
- 51:00Speaker 1: I don't know, but look, maybe he'll get on Next
- 51:02Speaker 1: Gen L.A. That's what they're going for. Why wouldn't you? Well,
- 51:05Speaker 1: Heather Dubrow is trying real hard to get her kids
- 51:08Speaker 1: on it. I thought they.
- 51:08Speaker 4: Were doing a Next Gen L.A., Did that fall apart?
- 51:12Speaker 4: And I thought that her son was supposed to be
- 51:14Speaker 4: on it.
- 51:14Speaker 1: Yeah, well, that's a rumor. I don't know if it's
- 51:16Speaker 1: like greenlit, but Heather is... I mean, even when they
- 51:18Speaker 1: opened the season, I think she randomly had her son
- 51:21Speaker 1: give a toast or whatever at the event. I love it.
- 51:23Speaker 1: That was to give him... I love what Heather does. Oh,
- 51:29Speaker 1: I love Heather too. And doing it for her kids
- 51:31Speaker 1: and everything. I'm like, absolutely.
- 51:32Speaker 4: If he was down to do it... I'd be like,
- 51:35Speaker 4: you're doing it. But I also, if my child wasn't
- 51:37Speaker 4: down to do it, I'd be like, you don't have
- 51:38Speaker 4: to do it.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:40Speaker 4: I mean, that's the thing. Like you don't feature the
- 51:42Speaker 4: kids that don't want to be featured. You know, I
- 51:44Speaker 4: know you, maybe they can go to a meal or something,
- 51:46Speaker 4: but like you don't have a heart to heart about
- 51:48Speaker 4: how no one likes you.
- 51:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:49Speaker 4: Can we sit down about the fact that you're bullied
- 51:52Speaker 4: and nobody likes you? Can we get the cameras in here? Okay,
- 51:55Speaker 4: let's go. Can we also do me telling the world
- 51:58Speaker 4: that my husband and I had no idea that my
- 52:01Speaker 4: child couldn't read at 10?
- 52:04Speaker 1: That still bothers me from last year.
- 52:06Speaker 4: Shane and I had no idea that Luke couldn't read.
- 52:10Speaker 1: He was in the fifth grade. You're like, what?
- 52:13Speaker 4: What do you mean that between kindergarten and fourth grade
- 52:16Speaker 4: you never did homework with him? You never had him
- 52:19Speaker 4: read a sign as you're walking through the grocery store?
- 52:22Speaker 1: Like, how did you not know? Yeah, I just think
- 52:24Speaker 1: one of the hard things with this is, like, people
- 52:26Speaker 1: say they want real reality TV and they want real
- 52:29Speaker 1: reality shows, so then... you know, Jen and Emily and
- 52:31Speaker 1: whoever else are putting out all this super hard stuff
- 52:34Speaker 1: about their family. And then people like, well, why would
- 52:36Speaker 1: you put that on TV? Totally true. I agree.
- 52:38Speaker 4: It's a very hard thing. And I've said that I'm like,
- 52:42Speaker 4: you have to share your life. But then when you
- 52:44Speaker 4: share your life and it involves your kids, but I
- 52:46Speaker 4: know there's people that will, that are currently won't be
- 52:50Speaker 4: able to be a full-time member of one of the
- 52:52Speaker 4: franchises unless they are able to show their home and
- 52:55Speaker 4: their kids.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Yeah. And it's like, well, do you want this paycheck?
- 52:59Speaker 4: And the security to come back and possibly fuck up
- 53:02Speaker 4: your kids or you take this paycheck below and your
- 53:06Speaker 4: kids aren't there and you'll probably get fired next year.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Yeah. So I totally get how hard it is.
- 53:11Speaker 4: There's no good way to do it, which is why it,
- 53:15Speaker 4: you're selling your soul to Andy Cohen and the devil
- 53:17Speaker 4: when you.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Say yes to the show.
- 53:18Speaker 6: Yes.
- 53:19Speaker 1: I talk about it all the time. So I'm like, I, I,
- 53:22Speaker 1: you know, but the thing is it can, it can
- 53:24Speaker 1: pay off. Like sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it can go
- 53:26Speaker 1: really bad and it can fuck up your family. And
- 53:28Speaker 1: then other times, You're on the show for 10 years.
- 53:31Speaker 1: You make all this money. You're famous. You can book
- 53:33Speaker 1: your host drag brunches for a few thousand dollars.
- 53:38Speaker 4: Besides Lisa Vanderpump, who has come out where their family
- 53:44Speaker 4: has essentially kind of been unscathed and they're still in
- 53:50Speaker 4: the limelight making money?
- 53:52Speaker 1: Well, Lisa Rinna's daughter is, like, the number one model. Okay,
- 53:56Speaker 1: Lisa Rinna's a good one. She has a... Hadid. I mean,
- 53:59Speaker 1: not Hadid. Yolanda, yeah. Yeah, Yolanda. Like, I think a
- 54:02Speaker 1: lot of them, Kyle's family. Also, people have issues anyway,
- 54:07Speaker 1: so who's to say that if the cameras weren't there
- 54:09Speaker 1: that they wouldn't be a fucked-up, dysfunctional family? At least
- 54:11Speaker 1: they're making money and have a job, and I would
- 54:13Speaker 1: be able to... Totally agree.
- 54:14Speaker 6: Okay.
- 54:15Speaker 1: So, the quiet woman, Shannon.
- 54:20Speaker 4: The door went on a podcast and she said she
- 54:23Speaker 4: explained that the story was way out of control about
- 54:26Speaker 4: her being pissed that the quiet woman didn't immediately first
- 54:29Speaker 4: pick up the bill for she. She said, I was
- 54:32Speaker 4: there with six other housewives and Andy, and I was
- 54:36Speaker 4: pissed when I saw the bill go down and which
- 54:39Speaker 4: Andy paid.
- 54:40Speaker 1: But, yeah, I was pissed. So, yes, the story is true.
- 54:43Speaker 1: She was throwing a fit. She was throwing.
- 54:45Speaker 4: Thinking how I'm so embarrassed since I'm the queen of
- 54:48Speaker 4: the quiet woman. I'm so embarrassed that they would even
- 54:51Speaker 4: think to charge you. Like, what more do you want?
- 54:53Speaker 1: She said this.
- 54:53Speaker 4: She's like, what more do you want? I brought you
- 54:55Speaker 4: six housewives and Andy Cohen. How dare you expect to
- 54:59Speaker 4: get a paycheck from this? And she then in the podcast,
- 55:03Speaker 4: she wouldn't name quiet woman.
- 55:04Speaker 5: Yes.
- 55:05Speaker 1: And she said she purposely is pissed. She said she's
- 55:07Speaker 1: taking a break from the quiet woman as well. She's
- 55:09Speaker 1: not going back there. And so she's like, let's see.
- 55:12Speaker 1: Let's see where it'll be in two years.
- 55:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:15Speaker 1: Let's see if it'll be going there anymore. Well, I
- 55:17Speaker 1: was actually there that night that this happened because the
- 55:21Speaker 1: reason Andy was there was this thing was called the
- 55:23Speaker 1: Newport Beach Festival. I was there with the Newport tourism people,
- 55:27Speaker 1: shout out. And we went to the Quiet Woman after.
- 55:30Speaker 1: And look, I was meant to, because I know some
- 55:33Speaker 1: of the OC housewives, so I was meant to catch
- 55:34Speaker 1: up with them. But then It wasn't planned that Andy
- 55:37Speaker 1: was going to go to dinner with them, but then
- 55:39Speaker 1: he did. And then I'm like, well, I can't crack.
- 55:40Speaker 1: I don't know Andy. And I knew that like, if
- 55:42Speaker 1: Andy's at dinner with them, they're all going to be,
- 55:45Speaker 1: you know, it's like putting on their circus tricks for Andy.
- 55:48Speaker 1: So I'm like, I'll leave them alone. But I ate
- 55:50Speaker 1: in my own booth. I didn't see anything, but I
- 55:53Speaker 1: will say it was a packed house and there was
- 55:56Speaker 1: a line around the corner to get in. Because the
- 56:00Speaker 1: housewives were there. So, you know, Shannon and that did
- 56:03Speaker 1: bring them a lot of business. I know people are
- 56:07Speaker 1: giving Shannon a hard time about it. I can see
- 56:11Speaker 1: where she's coming from expecting them to pick up the check. Well,
- 56:14Speaker 1: I appreciate her not.
- 56:16Speaker 4: She's not changing the narrative of the story. That's the
- 56:19Speaker 4: story that was told and she's confirming that was the story.
- 56:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 56:22Speaker 1: I thought it was ridiculous. I thought it should have
- 56:24Speaker 1: been comped.
- 56:25Speaker 6: Yes.
- 56:25Speaker 1: I thought that would be a given being that who
- 56:28Speaker 1: we are.
- 56:29Speaker 4: Yes.
- 56:29Speaker 1: We made the restaurant. They did put the, I mean,
- 56:31Speaker 1: come on. She did put the quiet woman on the map. Yeah.
- 56:33Speaker 1: It's gone viral several times. I think they filmed a
- 56:35Speaker 1: scene this season. I think the scene that, um, when Shannon, uh,
- 56:40Speaker 1: Vicky and Tamara sat down for lunch together, I think
- 56:43Speaker 1: that was a quiet woman. Um, So, you know, it's
- 56:46Speaker 1: been featured on there a lot. You know, but I
- 56:51Speaker 1: see both sides of it. No one's owed a free
- 56:52Speaker 1: meal or anything. I know Andy said that he really
- 56:54Speaker 1: wanted to pay a tip, which is good, but they
- 56:57Speaker 1: should have come out maybe and said, look, we'll comp
- 56:59Speaker 1: the drinks, like offered something, you know?
- 57:03Speaker 4: I mean, there's many different ways to look at it.
- 57:06Speaker 4: The thing is that that should have just been a
- 57:10Speaker 4: thought that you kept to yourself.
- 57:11Speaker 6: Well, yeah.
- 57:11Speaker 1: I mean, it's so crazy to throw a tantrum over it. Okay, fine.
- 57:15Speaker 4: But like, Maybe I'll make another... Like, what she should
- 57:18Speaker 4: have done is kind of clocked it. You know, kind
- 57:21Speaker 4: of clocked it and been like, yeah, next time they
- 57:25Speaker 4: ask to film at Quiet Woman, I'm going to be like,
- 57:27Speaker 4: let's go to this other place.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:28Speaker 4: And maybe when I do that, I'll, you know, let
- 57:31Speaker 4: them know, like, hey, I'm bringing people over here.
- 57:33Speaker 1: I'm a little over this place. Whatever.
- 57:35Speaker 2: But.
- 57:37Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, but to the average person, they're like,
- 57:40Speaker 4: why should you get any meal free?
- 57:41Speaker 1: You can't afford it. Look, I get that, but they
- 57:43Speaker 1: brought them a lot of business.
- 57:44Speaker 4: But they did, I will say, the owner did go
- 57:47Speaker 4: running after Andy and said there was a misunderstanding.
- 57:50Speaker 1: We've got it covered. But that's because of Shannon. That's
- 57:52Speaker 1: because Shannon threw a tantrum.
- 57:53Speaker 4: That's because Shannon went right up to him and was like,
- 57:54Speaker 4: are you fucking kidding me?
- 57:56Speaker 1: And, you know, she has that way about her. I think, look,
- 58:00Speaker 1: this is what I would have done as the owner
- 58:02Speaker 1: of The Quiet Woman. I think I would have come
- 58:04Speaker 1: and I would have, guys, you know, thank you, the
- 58:07Speaker 1: meal's on us. And then, look, Andy would have insisted,
- 58:10Speaker 1: I'm sure, let me just pay the tip or whatever,
- 58:12Speaker 1: take the tip. But I also probably would have said, like,
- 58:14Speaker 1: the meal's on us, but would you mind if we
- 58:16Speaker 1: just all got a photo together? Um, and could we
- 58:19Speaker 1: like post on our Instagram or something like that? Like,
- 58:22Speaker 1: let me get a, you know, a social media post
- 58:24Speaker 1: out of it. And it's like a bargain, you know,
- 58:26Speaker 1: people do that in entertainment. I mean, look, you must
- 58:30Speaker 1: have been offered a free meal.
- 58:31Speaker 4: Look, I feel with this, I'm kind of changing my
- 58:34Speaker 4: mind now because I do, we do see how sir
- 58:38Speaker 4: is not popping anymore.
- 58:40Speaker 1: No one's going there anymore. And it was popping all
- 58:42Speaker 1: the time, three, four years ago. Yeah.
- 58:45Speaker 4: So, If no one films her anymore and the show
- 58:49Speaker 4: goes off the air, would it be easier to get
- 58:53Speaker 4: a table a year from now or two years from now?
- 58:55Speaker 1: Most likely. Yeah.
- 58:57Speaker 4: You know?
- 58:57Speaker 1: So it's like, that's why he ran after him. But
- 59:00Speaker 1: I think just offer to do something as well. Just go, look, yeah,
- 59:03Speaker 1: can we get a photo? Can I post or whatever?
- 59:06Speaker 1: Do something like that. This came up. This is.
- 59:10Speaker 4: someone I realized that this came up as a house
- 59:13Speaker 4: that you could rent for $ 100, 000 a month. And then
- 59:16Speaker 4: going through it, I noticed the Terry and Heather monogrammed floors.
- 59:21Speaker 4: This is Terry and Heather's old house that they sold
- 59:23Speaker 4: for like.
- 59:25Speaker 1: $ 55 million through the Altman Brothers. Wow.
- 59:28Speaker 4: And now someone can rent it for $ 100, 000 a month.
- 59:32Speaker 1: That's crazy. I will say I do kind of agree
- 59:35Speaker 1: with Vicky where it's like no one makes that much
- 59:37Speaker 1: money being a plastic surgeon. So, you know, they must
- 59:40Speaker 1: be brilliant at business.
- 59:42Speaker 4: They are brilliant at business and I don't really think
- 59:44Speaker 4: Vicky is brilliant at business.
- 59:45Speaker 1: No, I agree with that. They have a lot of wealth, though,
- 59:49Speaker 1: for a plastic surgeon.
- 59:51Speaker 4: It's not just a plastic surgeon, though. Heather is right.
- 59:55Speaker 4: They got scammed once out of millions of dollars on something.
- 59:59Speaker 4: She's been really honest about it. They have worked their
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: ass off. They went the extra mile. They were doing
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: that QVC forever. They were selling their own skin care.
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: They had the botched. They had this, that.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: And they made a lot of money on real estate.
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: Like, they build a house for $ 20 and sell it
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: for $ 50.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: That's fucking $ 30 million profit.
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Like that.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: And then you put that in money markets. Like, you know,
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: meanwhile— Vicky has been like, I work, work, work. Okay, well,
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: one insurance policy at a time is not going to
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: get you $ 100, 000 a month rent.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: It's just not.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: And then Heather brought up the fact she's like, there
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: was Vicky's vodka. There was Vicky's diamonds. There was wines
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: by wives. Yes, yes. which they tried to get me
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: involved in that. And, and I remember I was like, no.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: And then they realized he was like a kind of a, whatever.
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: I'm not going to say anything about it, but it
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: didn't work out.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: And, um, but so. Yeah. I mean, it was a
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: dumb thing to say. Heather's had some failed projects too, though.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: She's had, she had like a skincare line that didn't work.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: She had a fireside podcast. Sure. She did. Yeah. I
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: just thought, I'm glad that they like fought back.
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: It was a dumb thing to say.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Anyway, I love that. But at least she.
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: Threw a bomb in the first episode so that we
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: have something to talk about.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Otherwise, what's there to talk about? Yeah. Okay. This was
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: so beyond.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: Kendra Wilkinson, former playmate and girls next door. She is
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: a realtor. She's very nice. She's a divorced mom. You know,
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: she's had so many spinoffs with the WeTV when she
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: was with the The husband, Hank, and they've been divorced
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: for a long time.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: The kids are doing great. And she is a realtor.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: And real estate is very hard. I've done it for
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: a long time.
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: But she went to her Instagram, which I think she
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: definitely regretted because when I saw this article, I went
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: to her Instagram and it was gone. But she put
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: up a video of her crying because she was working
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: with someone for a long time and they fired her.
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: without her making any money off of it, which is
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: the hard part about real estate is you don't make
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: any money until the thing closes, which is why people
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: like to get listings because if you have the listing,
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: pretty much someone will probably sell it for you when
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: they bring their buyer.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: In and you'll make the commission.
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: But when you're showing people houses and houses and houses
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: for months and months, they can just walk into another
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: open house and buy it off of that person. So
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: that is the hard part about real estate. But she
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: cried and cried about it And I was like.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Well, the thing about real estate is.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: For 99% of the people buying a house, it's going
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: to be their biggest, most valuable asset of their life,
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: selling it or buying it.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: So that's a very stressful moment.
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: Now, I don't need to worry about my realtor crying
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: if it doesn't work out. Like if it doesn't work
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: out and you don't get your commission and you spend
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: 30 hours with me, I can't feel bad about that.
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: Like that is not what it's about. And sometimes you'll
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: make 30,000 and you worked 10 hours.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: It just is the way the game works. But it's okay.
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: She took it down and then she did an ad
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: for a GLP-1. So you could get GLP-1s from her.
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: If you don't want to buy a house from her,
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: you can get a GLP-1 from her.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure she got a follower boost from this.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: But look, she's very emotional. She's like a very fragile person.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I met her at an event not that long ago,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: very briefly, but she was really sweet. She was so sweet.
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: She was like, hi, I'm Kendra. And she had another,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: and she was like kind of dressed normally. It was
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: for some magazine. She was in the party.
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Was that? We were together. We were there. Oh my God.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: I forgot. But I took you to that party.
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: That was the party you brought me to.
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: She was.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: She was with someone else and I remember thinking, oh,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: is that your manager or your publicist? And it was
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: just someone that she works with in real estate. So
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: she takes it very seriously. No, she definitely does. And
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I can see crying. Yeah, but it's not the way
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: to go about it. But the difference is, don't put
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: it on your Instagram. She could lose more clients from that.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: Keep it professional, you know?
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: And I remember there was a time when she came
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: on my show and all of her Instagram was just
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: real estate. She's like, I'm just going to do real
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: estate stuff and go on open houses and film that.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: And so.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: You know, but you think for some reason, why post it? Now,
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: she did take it down.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: I don't know why they don't just put her on
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: like Selling Sunset or something. I think she's tried.
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: She had a bunch of real estate shows and stuff.
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: I don't think she, I don't know. But she knows
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: what she's doing. She is a good realtor.
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: And realtors do cry a lot as being an old one.
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: Okay, I want to hear why Lana Del Rey skipped
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: Taylor Swift's star-studded wedding. For another party, despite their years
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: of friendship. This has been haunting you.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Yes. And you want to, why do you think? Well,
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with this. First, I'm a big Lana Del
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Rey fan. But, you know, as we know, Taylor Swift's wedding,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: a thousand people went. People that she definitely did not know.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: I mean, there was the most random celebrities there that
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: she may have met once. She has been friends with, well,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: she's known Lana Del Rey for years. over a decade
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: at this point, they had been to plenty of parties together.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: They share the same producer, Jack Antonoff, who, you know,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: is a mutual friend of both of them. Um, Taylor
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: brought Lana Del Rey with her to the Grammys. She
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: came with her to the Super Bowl when, you know,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: the big Super Bowl where Taylor ran out and kissed
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: Travis on the field and it was a whole big spectacle.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Lana Del Rey was there with iSpice in the VIP box. So,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: you know, if anyone is going to be there out
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: of this thousand person guest list, you would expect that
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: it would be Lana Del Rey. And, you know, at
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: first I just thought, because we didn't see any pictures
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: of her, but A lot of celebrities didn't get pictures.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: So I'm like, oh, Lana must just have not taken
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: a photo. And then I found out just through sleuthing
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: online that she went to some YouTuber's birthday party instead.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: She's known this, I did all my digging. She's known
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: this YouTuber for like a couple of years. So I
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: think three years she's known, and she was like a
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: fan of his on YouTube. She's known Taylor a lot
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: longer and I'm like, okay, you blew off maybe the
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: biggest celebrity wedding of all time to go to some
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: YouTuber's birthday party. And then, you know, Lana doesn't post
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: much online. Like she's quite reclusive and she even commented
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: on the post. It was something like, oh, what was
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: the comment? Like, oh my God, you know, thank you
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: so much for having me here on the 4th of July,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: like making the date clear. I feel like she was
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: making it very clear. Like I was not at this wedding.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: So I'm convinced that they've had a falling out. I
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: think what it's over is I think Lana felt like
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Taylor was using her for clout and publicity. And I
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: think the, the, the straw that broke the camel's back,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: I think it was the Grammys. I don't know if
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: you remember this, Lana and Taylor were both nominated for
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: album of the year. Taylor won, of course, because she
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: wins everything. And she like dragged Lana on stage. She
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: made this big show of it. It was really awkward.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: And you could tell that like Lana didn't want to
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: be up on stage. And I think she just- What
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: year was that? 2024. Okay. And I think she feels
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: like Taylor is very performative because, you know, Taylor, everything
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Taylor does is for publicity. Like she is that thought out.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: She is that calculated.
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: Well, I mean, having your wedding at Madison Square Garden
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: with a thousand people says it all.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Which is okay.
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: That's who she is. You can still like her music
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: and like her. Yeah, but I think Lana Del Rey
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: is like a genuine person.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: She's not. I mean, she got married in a swamp
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: to an alligator tour guide. She's not like that. When
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: I was looking at their friendship, it was always very
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: performative from Taylor. Taylor would get up to it, accept
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: an award, and then she would mention Lana and their
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: friendship or whatever. Or she would have her at the
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Super Bowl with, you know, all of the press there,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: drag her up on stage.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: What if the reason was that Lana Del Rey was like,
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: you shouldn't have abandoned Blake Lively?
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: That would be juicy. If she was just like, you
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: know what, you were around, you did all those things.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: But maybe she does think that. You never know. You're
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: never going to know Friendships do end.
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: I mean, I always talk about how people make such
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: a big deal if a girl friendship ends. Yet if
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: you leave the father of your three kids, it's like,
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: good for you, girl.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: No questions asked. So who knows?
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: I mean, just, yeah, rubbed the wrong way, blew her off,
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: didn't invite her to something. She just got turned off.
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: She might have just been like, I don't find her
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: that interesting anymore. anymore like it served its purpose they're
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: done for sure if she didn't go to the wedding
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: they're done.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: And I also saw that Lana unfollowed her but she
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: still follows Travis but she does not follow Taylor anymore
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: And this is usually something I would think that more
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: people would have picked up on because people love like
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: celebrity fallings out. But I think it flew under the
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: radar because of Blake Lively got all the attention of
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: like Taylor and Blake. And yeah, Taylor's very performative. If
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: you even remember, remember when she had the girl squad?
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: You know what?
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: I wonder if Blake and Lana are friends. And wouldn't
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: it be interesting if Lana got it from Blake's perspective
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: and heard it from Blake first?
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: And that just turned her off.
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: To Taylor right from the start and was just like,
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: that's not being a girl's girl.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Like, I don't like it. I think she just figured
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: out you're very performative. Like this is not organic. Everything
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: you do is a show and is for the press
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: and is for your image and how it's going to
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: make you look. And I think Taylor thought that it
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: looked cool having Lana Del Rey on. Cause you know,
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Lana Del Rey has like a lot of credibility. Like
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: she's kind of like, You know, she would be like
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: the coolest female artist of kind of like. Right. And
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: she's pretty reclusive too. So I think for Taylor to
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: be like, I'm the one that got, you know, Lana
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Del Rey to leave the swamp and walk the red
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: carpet with me. I look pretty good. And I think
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Lana could get it out.
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: But also, what if you're someone that just. you don't
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: like stuff like a thousand person wedding. Like you just,
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: you're just like, I don't want to do it. And
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: I don't really even like her. And it sounds like
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: a nightmare. And she hasn't been a good friend to
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: me in the last couple of years.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: So guess what?
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: I'm not fucking going. Like to me, that's, Some people,
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: that's a nightmare. Obviously, for someone like me, I would
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: die to go. But, like, for other people, that is
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: not a good time.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: But Lana has gone to the Met Gala in recent years. Like,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: she will go to some of these big showy things.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: It's just her. She definitely turned it down. She definitely
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: snubbed it. Okay.
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: We may or may not keep this story in. But
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: I promised you I would tell you.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Yes, Heather. Why are we talking about Ed Sheeran?
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: Okay, so right before we start it, It popped up
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: in my calendar that my husband put in Ed Sheeran
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: at SoFi Stadium, like August something. And I'm like, I
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: said to my son, Drake, I'm like, why is dad
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: doing this? Is this rage baiting? And you're like, why
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: would you say that?
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: Oh, God.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: The story with Ed Sheeran, I still am triggered by
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: anything Ed Sheeran related.
- 1:11:27Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: And this is why. We were in Mammoth. Okay. For,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: we have a little place there.
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: And all of a sudden my husband checked my daughter
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: when she was in college, her location, because he remembered
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: that for Christmas that year, he bought her Ed Sheeran tickets. Okay.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: Didn't really talk about it, remind it. He just remembered,
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: or he didn't know this was, he started to see
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: other people and their kids at Ed Sheeran. Oh yeah.
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: So he's like, Oh, I remember I gave McKinsey Ed
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: Sheeran tickets for Christmas. And he sees her location and
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: she's still in her Long Beach apartment and she's not
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: at Dodger Stadium. So he's like, why aren't you at
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: Ed Sheeran? You know, and she just was like, I
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: couldn't find anybody who want to go with me. So
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: I just didn't go. And for the five hour drive
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: home from Mammoth. It was just constant. Why wouldn't she
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: tell us?
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: I could have sold those tickets. Why did she try
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: to fight that?
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: And I'm defending her being like, first of all, she
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: never had an Ed Sheeran poster in her room.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: She never said she loved Ed Sheeran. He's pretty uncool.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: She's a young girl. She's going to think he's cheesy
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: as hell. She would not want to go.
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: You shouldn't buy someone an experience that they never asked for.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Yeah. You really shouldn't.
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: You shouldn't invite someone on a trip to China if
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: they never said they wanted to go to China. And
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: here are your plane tickets. And you're like, I don't
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: want to go. But I'm telling you, just when I
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: would think, like, hour two, we're done talking about it,
- 1:13:03Speaker 4: it would start again about Ed Sheeran. And for years after,
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: we'd be driving in a car, and Ed Sheeran could
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: come out of.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: It and be like... mom, are you triggered? I'm like, yeah.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Like I, I recorded it.
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: I recorded the ranting about Ed Sheeran and why McKinsey
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: didn't go there.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: And I just was like, God, let it go. She's
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: not a bad kid. Like, like what would be, she
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: stayed in her dorm room.
- 1:13:25Speaker 4: Like what's worse that she's out hustling, selling tickets to
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: a stranger in front of Dodger stadium at 19 years old,
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: just so she could.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Recoup the $ 80.
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: Like, Nobody could go, and she didn't think to call
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: us to have you sell it online.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Like, leave her alone. She probably didn't want to hurt
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: his feelings either. Like, she probably just wanted him to
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: think that she went.
- 1:13:45Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: She just was like, who cares? He'll never remember.
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: And I'm like, you're just mad because you're seeing all
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: these other parents flexing that they took their kid to
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: Ed Sheeran, and he reminded you that you got Ed
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: Sheeran tickets.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Anyway, he's going.
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: And maybe it's a full circle moment. Maybe we should
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: go to the Ed Sheeran concert. So is he a
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: big Ed Sheeran fan?
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: He is. Because to get tickets for her, which she
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: didn't ask for, then years later to buy tickets to
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: the new tour without telling you, that's a lot. I
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: don't know. I wonder if we should just go as
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: a family. It's not Ed's fault.
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: Ed Sheeran had nothing to do with the five-hour traumatic
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: drive back from Mammoth to L.A., as a family of
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: four because we were all hostage we were hostage in
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: the car yeah and we all were like trying to
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: just go like she's not a bad kid yeah like it.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Was i will say every time i have tickets to
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: go to a concert and then i always don't want
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: to go the day of and i'm like why did
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: i get these tickets but then when i'm there i
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: always have a good time so maybe you're.
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: Always happy when you go yes any kind of show
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: especially in la it's just a.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Lot of effort yeah so it's.
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: Like I just saw this guy like, I just saw
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: this like TikToker that goes, my policy is if it's
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: not a fuck yeah, it's a fuck no. And I'm like,
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: how many times, like about everything. So someone's like, hey,
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: you want to go to this in two weeks? You're like,
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: let me think about it.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Fuck yeah.
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: I have heard if you don't want to go, if
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: someone asks you to something and you wouldn't want to
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: go that night, then you shouldn't say yes.
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: Especially when it's like a long drive, it involves a
- 1:15:27Speaker 4: parking lot.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: A lot of walking.
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: Waiting. A lot. And it depends where you're seated as well. Like,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: do you have good seats? Is it comfortable? So I
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: went to Hilary Duff with Zach Peter recently, but he,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: he got the tickets actually. So thank you, Zach. And
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: he got us the best tickets or whatever. So we
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: had our own bar down the bottom and it was
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: like comfortable and, you know, we didn't have to wait
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: in the crazy lines and he got me an Uber
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: there and back with him. So it was comfortable and
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: we had a good time, but it's, you know, it's
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: a lot. generally to do anything.
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: That's what I think I think that sometimes you're just
- 1:16:01Speaker 4: it's it's that and I always think someone asked me
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: like Hollywood Bowl like August whatever and it was a
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: Sunday and I was like imagining the Hollywood Bowl and
- 1:16:12Speaker 4: the only thing I love about Hollywood Bowl is just
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: that it's pretty and that you're like expected to drink
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: a lot of wine and like have like a cheese
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: board okay so those are all things I love yes
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: but then I thought that day I'm gonna be In
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: my pool, an hour and a half away, which means
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: I'll have to get out of my pool by like
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: three to get cute by five to then drive there.
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: And I was like, or I could just listen to
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: it in my pool drinking red wine and having a
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: cheese board. But then if I go, I'll feel like
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: I had a wonderful time and so glad that I left.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: What did you choose? I didn't go. God. I mean,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: it's tough to go anywhere now. Like with me going
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: to the movies, I go to the movies all the time,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: but I will only go to like the Alamo. I
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: will only go to a theater that has no talking,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: no texting, dine-in food where they will come and like
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: bring me a burger or whatever. Like a reclining seat.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Like I'm not going to an AMC. I'm not sitting
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: there with people scrolling on their phones and like marching loudly.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: It's too much. Jacques Peterson.
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: Australian cutie, where can people follow you?
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Unpopular JP on Instagram for everything. You know, I post
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: my stories all the time. I also have a Patreon podcast.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: It's kind of like yours. You know, I just, you know,
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: juicy gossip that I can't say publicly. And, you know,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: just what's going on with me and, you know, my life. So, yeah,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: check it out. I love it.
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: I so appreciate you and our friendship. And for more
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: of everything with me, you guys, heathermcdonald.net.
