Speaker 1: We were doing pretty well on a lot of the

Speaker 1: big decisions. Uh and then it just everything fell apart.

Speaker 1: You know that the Jets were kind of hanging in

Speaker 1: there with with the Bears. That was a big game.

Speaker 1: Um the uh, well, Denver ended up covering Force. That

Speaker 1: was the back door with Denver actually saved our our day.

Speaker 1: That was one of the few wins we had. But uh,

Speaker 1: Cleveland was kind of hanging in there with Pittsburgh for

Speaker 1: a while in the first half, and it looked like

Speaker 1: we were gonna have a decent day and then just

Speaker 1: everything fell apart. And uh So, like I said, kind

Speaker 1: of a replay of the week before. Two bad weeks

Speaker 1: in a row. And now this week is a short

Speaker 1: schedule with with six teams on a buy uh. Sometimes

Speaker 1: that works against us because there's just more concentration on

Speaker 1: tired and I kind of want to go to sleep. Yeah,

Speaker 1: and a half early in the day and the phone's

Speaker 1: just lit up with all the the sharp guys in

Speaker 1: was just like a Christmas tree. The whole screen just

Speaker 1: I mean, this is my perspective on life. I was thinking,

Speaker 1: worry about it. I was actually rooting the opposite. I

Speaker 1: was actually hoping he would throw a second pick six

Speaker 1: to at least kill some of the teasers on Buffalo.

Speaker 1: twenty you know between Um, I mean, there weren't much.

Speaker 1: Patriots down to seven. But it was a morsel of

Speaker 1: the Giants beat the Cowboys straight up that week, and

Speaker 1: he calls me. He calls me up, He's like, how

Speaker 1: lot better if I didn't move the Cowboys up to fourteen,

Speaker 1: and we took all his money back on the on

Speaker 1: battle of real bad teams that are on the downward spiral.

Speaker 1: And this is the time of the year. You know,

Speaker 1: you get into kind of week eight, week nine. Uh,

Speaker 1: a lot of these teams are kind of giving up

Speaker 1: on the season and uh they're they've got organizational problems,

Speaker 1: kind of like the Browns and uh, the Raiders are

Speaker 1: one of those teams that, uh, you know, we talked

Speaker 1: about him last week, unloading all of their best personnel.

Speaker 1: So it's kind of that time of the year when

Speaker 1: the bad teams get worse and they and they and

Speaker 1: they continue to get worse before they kind of make

Speaker 1: a little bit of a resurgence before the end of

Speaker 1: the year. Um, and the odds makers are struggling adjusting

Speaker 1: one point where they seem to surprise everybody because we've

Speaker 1: over adjusted every all these bad teams. But in the meantime,

Speaker 1: we've got to suffer through a few bad weeks. Luckily,

Speaker 1: teams are playing each other this week that might bal

Speaker 1: us out. So what's interesting is um, I mean these

Speaker 1: teams are both are both just train wreck dumpster fires.

Speaker 1: Ticket counts. The Niners defense is so bad, the Raiders

Speaker 1: have some offensive weapons. Um it's just like this be competitive. Yeah,

Speaker 1: they were gonna hang in there with Indianapolis, and they

Speaker 1: showed a lot of signs of life. I think there's

Speaker 1: of plays from some pretty good handicappers that that that

Speaker 1: consistently do pretty well. They weren't real large dollar amounts,
