- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and coming to you live from the sports allegedly
- 0:56Speaker 1: media complex that is getting trashed, where there's currently a
- 1:04Speaker 1: soccer game, a heated soccer game going on next door
- 1:09Speaker 1: in our training facility. And Kenny, freshly back from his
- 1:15Speaker 1: uh his trip through construction zones down to porter for
- 1:21Speaker 1: a scrimmage of all things. I thought he said Mom
- 1:23Speaker 1: was gonna go to it in Sports Allegedly.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Welcome, Welcome, welcome, Thank y'all for joining us for this episode.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I did not episode. I felt rushed all two days,
- 1:34Speaker 2: this twenty second day of August, almost into the doldrums
- 1:39Speaker 2: of the heat. It was a nice day today, actually
- 1:41Speaker 2: here it was East Oklahoma. Thanks for joining us. Today
- 1:46Speaker 2: we're going to talk. Obviously, we're going to preview the
- 1:48Speaker 2: NFC East and the AFC East reaction. GIVR predictions that
- 1:53Speaker 2: I can tell you before we get there that we
- 1:54Speaker 2: have two games, two teams. Obviously, you're not gonna believe
- 1:57Speaker 2: this guy next to me, I give you he thinks
- 2:01Speaker 2: is better than the court than the Cowboys this year.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Who he thinks is going to.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Be that whole I've got the I've got the whole
- 2:07Speaker 1: NFC East down. So yeah, okay, and then we'll also
- 2:11Speaker 1: they're all five hundred. We didn't do predictions for A A,
- 2:15Speaker 1: A C. We'll talk a little bit about them in
- 2:18Speaker 1: Tulsa obviously. Well, we'll get a little bit talk and
- 2:21Speaker 1: Notre Dame. What's happened to do the poll? Yeah, and
- 2:24Speaker 1: then we can talk about the polls. But go ahead,
- 2:25Speaker 1: let's get off started. Let's give an update on baseball. Uh,
- 2:29Speaker 1: Stanley's real quick as we're getting closer closer to the
- 2:33Speaker 1: end of September.
- 2:34Speaker 2: One hundred and twenty eight games one hundred and twenty
- 2:37Speaker 2: nine something like that played between step means there's anywhere
- 2:39Speaker 2: from thirty to thirty three games left for each team.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I know the makeup game, and the Yankees are streaking.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I know they've won five. They're getting closer to the Rays.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I just it's weird. The Al East is weird because
- 2:51Speaker 1: the Boston's went on what an eighteen games streak and
- 2:54Speaker 1: a fifteen gamestree, still seven packs, still seven back from
- 2:57Speaker 1: the Rays.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Well gives you, I mean, look at the Rays. I mean,
- 2:59Speaker 2: what a good baseball team and program that are I
- 3:02Speaker 2: shouldn't say program.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Haven't they been? I know the Marlins have been sold
- 3:08Speaker 1: fifteen times. Tampa Bay.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Aren't they up for sale, but they've talked about leaving.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I know they fire or cell every time they win,
- 3:15Speaker 1: just like Miami.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Correct, that's true.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Now you win a title, fire cell. This is just
- 3:20Speaker 1: hard to get people interested in sports in Tampa.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Well, there's a lot of other stuff to do. I mean,
- 3:25Speaker 2: Bucks don't even aren't even the I mean they're the
- 3:28Speaker 2: biggest show.
- 3:29Speaker 1: It's still better than that, I'm gonna tell you right now.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Still better than San Diego. But that's eight games, you know,
- 3:33Speaker 1: but you still have But you still have more sports
- 3:36Speaker 1: fans there than San Diego because the Padre is just sold.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Yeah, but I don't think they're stage. I don't think
- 3:42Speaker 2: they're leaving.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Well, you would hope that they're not leaving, because San
- 3:45Speaker 1: Diego needs something to do down there besides star at
- 3:48Speaker 1: an empty football stadium as soon as you drive into
- 3:50Speaker 1: the city.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Yeah, not the and but still always the San Diego
- 3:55Speaker 2: Chargers in my.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Heart and the San Diego Clippers. Oh shit, I just
- 4:01Speaker 1: punched that. Uh so, Yeah, Tampa Bay still three game
- 4:05Speaker 1: lead in the AL East, seventy six to fifty two,
- 4:09Speaker 1: the Yankees seventy three fifty five. Now Here is the
- 4:15Speaker 1: interesting thing is the AL Central and the AL the
- 4:20Speaker 1: Ale West. So the White Sox currently holding a four
- 4:24Speaker 1: and a half game lead over both the Twins and
- 4:28Speaker 1: the Guardians. The Tigers were right behind them. They went
- 4:31Speaker 1: on a sweep of the Tigers. Then they end up
- 4:33Speaker 1: dropping two to the to the Cubs, whereas everybody else
- 4:39Speaker 1: kind of did a fifty to fifty. And then they
- 4:43Speaker 1: almost dropped onto the Mets last night, the Low Lea Mets.
- 4:46Speaker 1: They ended up having to come back with a two
- 4:47Speaker 1: run shot to hold that lead at four and a half.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Mets are talented enough to beat anybody on any particular Guardians.
- 4:55Speaker 1: The Cleveland is up and down they are. They are
- 4:58Speaker 1: bipolar this season. They were all the way down to
- 5:00Speaker 1: number three in this just the beginning of last week,
- 5:05Speaker 1: I think it was. It was they were all the
- 5:07Speaker 1: way down down to third.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Fourth there on the fourth is what you were thinking?
- 5:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I was thinking fourth, fourth behind fourth in the standings,
- 5:19Speaker 1: third in the who's behind the White Sox. But it's
- 5:24Speaker 1: a crazy It's Chicago's only got a sixty nine chance
- 5:28Speaker 1: to go and Detroit coming in at nine point eight
- 5:32Speaker 1: for the percentage to make it to the playoff. With
- 5:34Speaker 1: the Guardians still favored above the Twins, even though the
- 5:37Speaker 1: Twins said above them. And I know right now the
- 5:40Speaker 1: Guardians are playing.
- 5:41Speaker 2: The Rockies beat them last night on.
- 5:44Speaker 1: The run, and the White Sox are playing the Mets.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I don't know who the Twins have. I haven't looked
- 5:49Speaker 1: at that or Detroit. I just.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Sorry, Let's see where is that meaty be many? I'm
- 6:01Speaker 2: over here?
- 6:04Speaker 1: What is going on? Well? I want it mute?
- 6:09Speaker 2: Oh my god, sorry, I forgot to press that little
- 6:12Speaker 2: mute that Eagles.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I know she's cute, but stop. If that won't meet,
- 6:21Speaker 1: you might have to restart it. Yeah, no, it's it's
- 6:27Speaker 1: gonna be restarted. It's doing it. Sorry, ladies and gentlemen.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Kenney's computers having a freak out right now. Houston Astros
- 6:36Speaker 1: leading up the Al West with the Rangers one game
- 6:39Speaker 1: behind him. If you remember, the Rangers were almost in
- 6:41Speaker 1: last place before the All Star Break and the Mariners
- 6:49Speaker 1: were in first place. The Mariners now four games back
- 6:54Speaker 1: n L East, the Braves still trying to hold off
- 6:57Speaker 1: the Phillies. The Phillies, will they ever make it to
- 6:59Speaker 1: the World Series. I think that's a big question we've
- 7:02Speaker 1: had for how long has Harper been there.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I think, you know, I think that the Phillies are
- 7:08Speaker 2: still gonna make the playoffs, and I think they're gonna
- 7:10Speaker 2: be you know, I think the NL is gonna be
- 7:12Speaker 2: the best. And you know, I joked earlier, it's Dodgers
- 7:15Speaker 2: and everybody else on the a L. You know, the
- 7:18Speaker 2: Dodgers have been played as you know, Dodgers, and then
- 7:21Speaker 2: everyone in the AL whoever's got a chance there. But
- 7:24Speaker 2: the Dodgers haven't particularly played well lately, and they've had
- 7:26Speaker 2: some streaks up and down. Now they have one four
- 7:28Speaker 2: in a row and they still have seventy eight wins.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Not as good as the Brewers, but right behind them.
- 7:33Speaker 2: I still think they're gonna have a chance to win.
- 7:35Speaker 2: But you look at the Cubs, Brewers, Dodgers. I don't
- 7:41Speaker 2: really throw the Podres in there. I think they're good
- 7:43Speaker 2: enough and not a good enough.
- 7:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you right now, the NL
- 7:46Speaker 1: centrals to beat them up, the beat them up division.
- 7:52Speaker 2: But now, well, Pittsburgh's done this year and they're still
- 7:55Speaker 2: under five hundred, and just.
- 7:57Speaker 1: The four games under five hundred and Cincinnati setting a
- 8:01Speaker 1: seven games under five.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Hunder, well in Cincinnati really looks just by looking at
- 8:04Speaker 2: the run differential is staggering to be only seven games.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Correct everybody else in the in the NL Central? Is
- 8:11Speaker 1: is it a positive? Even with Saint Louis being what
- 8:15Speaker 1: three games above Pittsburgh.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I wonder if that's a pitching thing.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I don't know. Did they did they not get rid
- 8:23Speaker 1: of franc Didn't they bring in a pitcher of Saint Louis?
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't remember. No, I was talking about the Rents. Oh,
- 8:31Speaker 1: the Reds.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Saint Louis has had a pretty good season for still
- 8:34Speaker 2: having not as good pitching as they they're pitching is
- 8:36Speaker 2: their weakness?
- 8:37Speaker 1: Well, and it's the same thing with the Orioles. Look
- 8:39Speaker 1: at Baltimo Oreials setting at sixty two and sixty seven.
- 8:42Speaker 1: They're fourteen and a half games back. But if you
- 8:45Speaker 1: take them out, and you take them and the Blue
- 8:48Speaker 1: Jays out and stick them in another in the in
- 8:51Speaker 1: the central to the West, they're practically right up there
- 8:53Speaker 1: with the leaders exactly.
- 8:56Speaker 2: But look at the run differential. It's funny. In that
- 8:58Speaker 2: NFC or AFC web or a football everybody everybody's run
- 9:05Speaker 2: different it is horrible.
- 9:06Speaker 1: They're all everybody in the negative, and well you've got
- 9:10Speaker 1: Houston at one game above five hundred.
- 9:13Speaker 2: And the Rangers come on, you're right there. Seattle's definitely
- 9:16Speaker 2: been two years out.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Rangers are two years out from a World Series three
- 9:21Speaker 1: three seems like it's I don't remember.
- 9:24Speaker 2: It seems so long ago.
- 9:26Speaker 1: We're gonna have to go look up the memories of
- 9:27Speaker 1: the of the pool incident. I don't know if it
- 9:31Speaker 1: had been recorded that, but they should have.
- 9:36Speaker 2: You know, a pool incident I'm talking about. I have
- 9:38Speaker 2: no idea.
- 9:39Speaker 1: He's my son off to the whole. That was the
- 9:43Speaker 1: same year. Yes it was. It was the same year.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Because we did get to see the tips we did.
- 9:51Speaker 1: It was a pool incident.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I forgot about that.
- 9:55Speaker 1: So there's a baseball rub down. We're still looking. It's
- 9:57Speaker 1: still anyboddies game, except for I believe the Dodgers. I
- 10:04Speaker 1: know they've got nine games over.
- 10:07Speaker 2: It's possible, but you'll see some playing games in the cups.
- 10:11Speaker 3: There are makeup games that have to happen.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I don't know how many that each team has. I
- 10:17Speaker 1: think Chicago's the White Sox have more than anybody else,
- 10:20Speaker 1: don't they. The White Sox have more than anybody else
- 10:25Speaker 1: because We're sitting at sixty seven and sixty one and
- 10:27Speaker 1: you guys and the twins at sixty three sixty six. Okay,
- 10:32Speaker 1: so Detroit's the same as US. I just know we
- 10:36Speaker 1: have playing game there that rain and the bub bub
- 10:39Speaker 1: bub bub the forest fires from Canadia. Remember when Canada
- 10:43Speaker 1: was trying to invade us with with forest fires?
- 10:46Speaker 2: Who's this?
- 10:47Speaker 1: What did you go to? The baseball games that were
- 10:49Speaker 1: all canceled because the Canadian forest firesch What did I
- 10:52Speaker 1: go to? Went to the world?
- 10:54Speaker 2: Kiddy was going to subjects? Are you really?
- 10:59Speaker 1: I mean? News outside? All right? Oh? Do we want
- 11:02Speaker 1: to jump NFL?
- 11:03Speaker 2: No, let's do a little college. We'll talk about college.
- 11:06Speaker 2: The polls, obviously we don't believe them all but pretty identical.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Preseason polls are made to piss you off.
- 11:14Speaker 2: And gives people stuff to talk about. Shawn, do you
- 11:17Speaker 2: have witches?
- 11:17Speaker 1: Which? Yeah, so oh there it is.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Okay, A got the AP and the coaches, so most
- 11:24Speaker 2: of them agree. Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia's the top three.
- 11:30Speaker 2: They have flopped Notre Dame in Texas, which yeah there,
- 11:34Speaker 2: and then Indiana, Miami, A and m and then one
- 11:38Speaker 2: flipped Oklahoma, one flipped Old myths and then there you go.
- 11:42Speaker 1: So the big question is who would you take out
- 11:45Speaker 1: of that top five that does not belong in five
- 11:47Speaker 1: or ten top five, the top out of the top five,
- 11:50Speaker 1: who would you take out and move down? I'll tell
- 11:53Speaker 1: you two teams right now, glaring right Texas is one,
- 11:57Speaker 1: Texas and Notre Dame. I'm both glaring and in that
- 12:02Speaker 1: preseason as to why Miami and Indiana aren't up in
- 12:06Speaker 1: those two spots.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Yeah, but I I like, like I said, we talked.
- 12:10Speaker 2: We'll talk a little bit about Notre Dame here in
- 12:11Speaker 2: a minute. Their schedule always seems to fit them pretty well.
- 12:16Speaker 2: And no USC this year, same and same for them.
- 12:19Speaker 1: That's USC this year.
- 12:21Speaker 2: No, it's it's done. They're bringing it back?
- 12:23Speaker 1: Is that next year?
- 12:24Speaker 2: See the next year, the year after? But nothing this year?
- 12:26Speaker 1: They got Miami, that's it. And they got Miami at home.
- 12:28Speaker 1: They got Miami, and they got Texas A and m
- 12:30Speaker 1: Is that the only two SMU could be in this year.
- 12:33Speaker 2: They don't play Texas. That's not an every year deal.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Are They're at defeat it this year? Dude? No?
- 12:40Speaker 1: They got Miami. B Yu could That's what I was thinking.
- 12:43Speaker 1: B Yu could could be there at s m U also,
- 12:46Speaker 1: so there's there's two possible upsets in that. I don't
- 12:50Speaker 1: I see him losing Miami, but I see the two
- 12:52Speaker 1: possible upsets with B y U and SMU.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Because you look at well we'll talk about them in
- 12:57Speaker 2: a minute. Anything else in the poll that just I mean,
- 12:59Speaker 2: every one was pretty identical.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Right oh, miss above Oklahoma in the AP pole at
- 13:05Speaker 1: number nine.
- 13:06Speaker 2: There is a pretty big drop after twelve. It seems
- 13:09Speaker 2: like right now l s.
- 13:11Speaker 1: U is eleven in the in the apach.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Just like Alabama better than LSU.
- 13:16Speaker 1: They do they and they love Tech at number twelve.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Why what else? What Harrelson the kid from last season
- 13:25Speaker 1: that hurt himself, Okay, he knows the offense. He's coming back.
- 13:29Speaker 1: He just had he gotten injured. That's why. Uh that
- 13:32Speaker 1: one kid came in. I don't remember his name, but anyways,
- 13:39Speaker 1: he's back. And Alabama just named Russell. Yes, Keelon Russell
- 13:44Speaker 1: is QB one for the first game. I don't know
- 13:48Speaker 1: if that's gonna held out, but that's what he has
- 13:51Speaker 1: been named. B y U holding in at the fourteen
- 13:55Speaker 1: fifteen spot. It looks like AP has them tied with
- 13:57Speaker 1: USC whereas in the coaches pool, USC is just about
- 14:03Speaker 1: one hundred points above them less fifty points sixty. So yeah,
- 14:14Speaker 1: and that's the only issue that I have is Texas
- 14:17Speaker 1: and Notre Dame being too high.
- 14:19Speaker 2: I don't think so. I think both teams, Both teams
- 14:22Speaker 2: have spent the money, Both teams on paper have the
- 14:25Speaker 2: most talent, and that's what you got to do. You're guessing,
- 14:27Speaker 2: and it's with these poles.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I know, but it's also a little bit of the
- 14:30Speaker 1: buthole licking.
- 14:31Speaker 2: I mean, I can I can't. I would not be
- 14:33Speaker 2: surprised if Texas and Notre Dame is in a national championship,
- 14:36Speaker 2: although I although I picked Texas to lose three.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna be surprised if Texas Notre Dame didn't make it. Again,
- 14:44Speaker 1: I would.
- 14:45Speaker 2: If you're saying both this season, I would be surprised
- 14:48Speaker 2: if both didn't make it. I honestly think probably. Well,
- 14:51Speaker 2: we haven't did our predictions yet, but what.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Do you think of the ass two and that they
- 14:55Speaker 1: took for Notre Dame not being included last season to
- 15:00Speaker 1: help them get in this season.
- 15:01Speaker 2: It's part of it, and I also think that it
- 15:03Speaker 2: helps Notre Dame gets to keep their coach.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Texas had no argument. They lost to Florida and everybody said,
- 15:09Speaker 1: have you not lost that game, you would have been in. Yeah.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Well, their argument was if we don't play Ohio State
- 15:14Speaker 2: and get an automatic win, we're in.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Maybe not, but it was a close game. It was
- 15:18Speaker 1: a close game to Ohio State that that did not hurt.
- 15:21Speaker 2: That I don't think so either. That did not hurt,
- 15:23Speaker 2: but it did have that third loss on there that
- 15:26Speaker 2: the committee is so enamored with not bringing that in.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Well, and that third loss was was Florida. Yeah, and
- 15:32Speaker 1: that's what they were.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Like, I haven't had a bad time firing their coach. Yeah,
- 15:38Speaker 2: but hopefully, excuse me, hopefully the sixteen team playoffs will
- 15:42Speaker 2: move along end of.
- 15:43Speaker 1: The into the end of the poll. The surprises that
- 15:50Speaker 1: I know we will not be in the coaches.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Louisville seems like they being a page, seems like they
- 15:57Speaker 2: should be able to hire Louisville. You taw Iowa, They're
- 16:00Speaker 2: always there. S m U has a potential to have
- 16:04Speaker 2: a really special season.
- 16:07Speaker 1: There's a sneaky Washington team.
- 16:08Speaker 2: That I don't Missouri will definitely be one that doesn't.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Finish in the Missouri's gonna Missouri's gonna sling shot in
- 16:16Speaker 1: and out. They're gonna slinky it. They're gonna be both
- 16:20Speaker 1: in and out. Oh, Semi, that's four point thirty. Time
- 16:26Speaker 1: to get up, Sean. Look at him.
- 16:28Speaker 2: He's got up so early today to do his role
- 16:30Speaker 2: as producer and co host and being wrong about.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Football's sex object. That's right, ladies, where's that Vombit sounder
- 16:43Speaker 1: a single and ready to mingle?
- 16:46Speaker 2: So we tell our play, you knows. So anyway we
- 16:48Speaker 2: talked about we talked about Notre Dame. Because we're talking
- 16:51Speaker 2: a little bit about them, we could start with them.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I have them going.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I can't remember I don't have my picks in front
- 16:57Speaker 2: of me what I picked Miami. If I picked Miami
- 17:01Speaker 2: to do.
- 17:01Speaker 1: You have mine? I don't have yours. Yours are underneath you.
- 17:05Speaker 1: They are No, they're in front of you. They're underneath you.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Cool. There you go, Thanks coach.
- 17:11Speaker 1: It's not my fault.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Appreciated, Okay, Miami, the Hong Conference.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Miami beating Notre Dame, s m U beating Notre Dame.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Well, I don't have the A A, I don't have
- 17:38Speaker 2: the A C C in here. I don't got two
- 17:46Speaker 2: big tens.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Well that's up, it's fun. Why you golly b why
- 17:56Speaker 1: you losing the Notre Dame. So it's like, I'll have
- 17:58Speaker 1: Notre Dame two wins losses.
- 18:01Speaker 2: It's gonna say too sure mine's not snuck in there
- 18:04Speaker 2: anywhere in mind.
- 18:05Speaker 4: I'll tell you that right now. I have to go
- 18:07Speaker 4: back and find it and see what I picked. I
- 18:10Speaker 4: believes the magazine. I believed I didn't pick it, then
- 18:14Speaker 4: he did. We used the magazine before.
- 18:16Speaker 2: We did the transferred it Sporting News.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Better yet Phil Stills Magazine.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I didn't have time to get it. Yes, they don't
- 18:30Speaker 2: have a circle in there.
- 18:31Speaker 1: What do you mean to have a circle? How did
- 18:34Speaker 1: we do it with?
- 18:35Speaker 2: I did the Big twelve. I don't do any of
- 18:37Speaker 2: the them.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I know.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Remember I used my sheets.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I don't know what you use your sheets on. That
- 18:44Speaker 1: sucks them?
- 18:46Speaker 2: Well, let's I would have had Miami losing. I got
- 18:48Speaker 2: Notre Dame going out defeating slap a ole on it.
- 18:52Speaker 2: They start out at Wisconsin and the spread's like twenty
- 18:55Speaker 2: oh yeah, yeah, the Wisconsin needs to have a game.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Then they play Ry Michigan State, Purdue, U n C.
- 19:02Speaker 2: And I'm not even giving you home away because it
- 19:04Speaker 2: doesn't matter Stanford, like Sean said earlier, first first big
- 19:08Speaker 2: test is b y U B Y is gonna be
- 19:10Speaker 2: a good potential winner of the Big Twelve. They'll go
- 19:13Speaker 2: there October seventeenth. But it's not good. You know. Notre
- 19:16Speaker 2: AME's used to cold weather, used to the elements, so
- 19:18Speaker 2: it's not gonna be a factor. I still think they
- 19:19Speaker 2: come out on top because I like c J. Carr.
- 19:21Speaker 2: I think this kid is the number one quarterback going
- 19:24Speaker 2: to be in the draft. Everyone's gonna love saying the
- 19:28Speaker 2: saying or they're gonna say Dante, They're gonna say, yeah,
- 19:33Speaker 2: is his grandfather he was somehow related to Lloyd cart Michigan.
- 19:36Speaker 2: If it's his grandfather or his uncle, and then uh
- 19:42Speaker 2: and so Notre Dame goes to Navy. That'll be a
- 19:44Speaker 2: fun game. But I don't think I think No Notre
- 19:46Speaker 2: Dame will over Miami. Miami go goes to Notre Dame
- 19:51Speaker 2: November seventh. I'm not saying it's gonna be cold, but
- 19:53Speaker 2: there's potential to be cooler up there. Boston College s
- 19:57Speaker 2: m U could be tough. That's November twenty first, and
- 19:59Speaker 2: then they finish up at Syracuse.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Is that in Dallas or is that in westboun It
- 20:03Speaker 1: says it's in West Bend.
- 20:04Speaker 2: I don't think they have any extra eastpoing us they've
- 20:08Speaker 2: got any extra. As far as like.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Special games, I have special games.
- 20:15Speaker 2: No, like Summer neutral or something like that.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I have special games, somewhat neutral. They gotta get into
- 20:23Speaker 1: my face, somewhat neutral. You've been so neutral, boy taking
- 20:30Speaker 1: I actually do have the entire American done?
- 20:32Speaker 2: Oh do you.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I did? I did? We can touch on it. I
- 20:39Speaker 1: believe that in the American I didn't write any of
- 20:43Speaker 1: that down. I either have Navy. No, Navy's done in three.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Oh.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Here we go to lane at eleven and one. I
- 20:51Speaker 1: know they've lost their coach and is me why you
- 20:55Speaker 1: boy still there? Or did he leave too? I didn't
- 20:59Speaker 1: look at him of that. Did he go to Florida? Oop?
- 21:03Speaker 2: Sorry?
- 21:04Speaker 1: Two lane coach?
- 21:05Speaker 2: Yeah, John Summer I went to Florida, Yes, right?
- 21:07Speaker 1: But the quarterback? Did he leave ratsless? Yeah?
- 21:11Speaker 2: I believe he did.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Isn't that his name? Did he leave him at two lane?
- 21:16Speaker 1: Because he left him at two lane, then they're going
- 21:18Speaker 1: to have Like I said, I got him at eleven
- 21:20Speaker 1: and one. Tulsa. I love you. You better not disappoint
- 21:24Speaker 1: me in the six and sixth season. Again, Well, that's
- 21:27Speaker 1: what's wrong with six and six. Know they didn't make it.
- 21:30Speaker 1: He had him six and six, six and six this season,
- 21:34Speaker 1: We had them this six.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Let me see if our games agreed. Okay, Sam Houston,
- 21:39Speaker 2: East Texas, North Texas, Rice Fau Charlotte.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely, the absolute same.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Army is a possibility.
- 21:51Speaker 1: But they that is right.
- 21:53Speaker 2: They have a long bye week. I mean it stretches
- 21:56Speaker 2: way out and.
- 21:56Speaker 1: We had army. We did have army down that game
- 21:59Speaker 1: and there losing it. I know that.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Yes, wea.
- 22:10Speaker 1: That's the twenty fourth of October.
- 22:14Speaker 2: No, we're going to Kentucky the seventeen.
- 22:17Speaker 1: It's not in the playoffs. Oklahoma State. The Oklahoma State
- 22:20Speaker 1: game is in Tulsa this season, and it is that
- 22:25Speaker 1: North Texas team. So yes, so does know Tulison. I don't.
- 22:32Speaker 2: I don't think. I don't think the Cowboys are gonna get.
- 22:37Speaker 1: You can make right, you can make the argument about
- 22:41Speaker 1: Oklahoma State. And you're bringing in the most transfers I
- 22:44Speaker 1: believe is what it was. If not, they're one of
- 22:47Speaker 1: the most, I mean from their coach and uh, musta maker,
- 22:52Speaker 1: must have making. So they're going to be coming into
- 22:56Speaker 1: the Big Twelve, which I don't know that they're going
- 22:59Speaker 1: to be exactly twenty four. They will win a couple
- 23:01Speaker 1: of games, but at the same time, there's still going
- 23:04Speaker 1: to be an American Conference team playing literally playing in
- 23:09Speaker 1: the Big Twelve. That's how I looked at Oklahoma State season.
- 23:13Speaker 1: So yeah, they're going to be able to beat Tulsa.
- 23:17Speaker 2: The as far, Navy's going to be really good this year.
- 23:21Speaker 1: I have Memphis at eleven and one as well, new coach.
- 23:26Speaker 2: To a new coach Memphis.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Memphis does have a new coach as well. I don't
- 23:31Speaker 1: know why putting Navy at nine and three.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Which you know it's it's Charles Huff. He's from Marshall,
- 23:36Speaker 2: I believe, so it's not like he's it's not like
- 23:39Speaker 2: he doesn't know how to win. But Utsa is going
- 23:43Speaker 2: to be a good one as well as they always are.
- 23:46Speaker 2: They're very consistent. Army's going to be much better Carolina.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I like their.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Blake Harrell do what happened with fourteen and five. Jordan
- 23:58Speaker 2: Davis returns and they have some quarterback transfers because their
- 24:02Speaker 2: quick quarterback left. Now, Brian Hartland takes over South Florida
- 24:06Speaker 2: from Alex Golis and Heartline, if you remember, was the
- 24:09Speaker 2: ace recruiter from Ohio State forever and I think that
- 24:13Speaker 2: I don't know if he's going to do so good.
- 24:16Speaker 2: But they do have Michael van Buren. He was one
- 24:19Speaker 2: to transfer quarterback from LS Shoes. I don't know if
- 24:22Speaker 2: he's starting. I don't know if that's been announced yet.
- 24:25Speaker 2: And then yes, Jake Minsak mess sack. Sorry see what
- 24:36Speaker 2: he say? Rats Claft?
- 24:39Speaker 1: Sorry? Rats? Yes there? What are you looking at?
- 24:45Speaker 2: Where's he at? Did he go?
- 24:48Speaker 1: I thought he was still in too late If he
- 24:51Speaker 1: didn't go anywhere, or is he graduating? He is currently
- 24:58Speaker 1: twenty six undrafted, so he was older than okay, gotcha.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I don't know. It could be one of those kids
- 25:05Speaker 1: that just I want to be back on the team
- 25:09Speaker 1: right whichall left too early?
- 25:11Speaker 2: Talk a little bit about you know, I really, and
- 25:14Speaker 2: I hate to say it. It's not abnormal that I don't,
- 25:18Speaker 2: but I have not watched hardly any preseason football and
- 25:25Speaker 2: is anybody watching much of it? And why? I mean
- 25:28Speaker 2: to me, it's like I learned for months for football
- 25:31Speaker 2: to come back, and it's like the UFL. I cannot
- 25:34Speaker 2: get into this. It's just I can't.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Oh, it's because you're a pretentious bitch.
- 25:38Speaker 2: No, it's just because it's nothing. You're normally going to
- 25:41Speaker 2: watch it.
- 25:43Speaker 1: If you're watching these guys. We're watching the rookies, we're
- 25:45Speaker 1: watching the it's kind of slow. We're watching the kids
- 25:48Speaker 1: who want to try to make a team end up
- 25:51Speaker 1: probably on a practice squad. Yeah, but I'm not their fault,
- 25:57Speaker 1: So I don't want There's only three damn games, I know,
- 26:00Speaker 1: but I guarantee you.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Is that all they're doing now is three Yeah, I
- 26:03Speaker 2: guarantee you.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Take these three games away, and they'll bitch that they
- 26:06Speaker 1: have to play nineteen to twenty games because the NFL
- 26:10Speaker 1: is not going to want to lose those three weeks.
- 26:11Speaker 2: You know what I would do is take take one season,
- 26:14Speaker 2: can't lose those games, take one preseason and move regular
- 26:17Speaker 2: season to an even eighteen. They've already done that now
- 26:20Speaker 2: it's seventeen.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Now, No, they've already taken one preseason and.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Moved taking one and make it eighteen.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Well, when I just get rid of all of them
- 26:27Speaker 1: and let them play.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Oh, I don't disagree. There should be a couple of
- 26:30Speaker 2: warm up games.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Well, they do practices anyway.
- 26:33Speaker 2: But if you give an extra regular season game, the
- 26:35Speaker 2: revenue is more, the viewership is a hell of a
- 26:39Speaker 2: lot more, because it needs more.
- 26:43Speaker 1: The old guy out there who doesn't believe in playing
- 26:47Speaker 1: the preseason and snaps his achilles.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Well that's his fault. I mean, nobody's questioning. You know,
- 26:55Speaker 2: that's an internal thing.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Oh no, he's he's bitched about there's no point in
- 27:00Speaker 1: playing preseason. You boy, Aaron Rodgers, Oh he ain't my boy.
- 27:06Speaker 1: He's a boy boy.
- 27:08Speaker 2: He's your boy, which he probably never has. I mean,
- 27:11Speaker 2: I don't think he comes to warm ups there anymore,
- 27:13Speaker 2: does he in early season off seasons? No?
- 27:16Speaker 1: I think it's all just Iahwasca. Anybody won the uh
- 27:21Speaker 1: in rugby, the all bout All Blacks beat the South
- 27:23Speaker 1: Africans thirty three sixteen. You wanted me to go into
- 27:29Speaker 1: Premier League Sundyland upset by Ipswich two to one.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Nobody cares.
- 27:34Speaker 1: That's what Grentford tatting him three three nil in a stunner,
- 27:41Speaker 1: Hull shutting out Man United two to nothing. Very terrible
- 27:47Speaker 1: start to the beginning of the English Premier And there's
- 27:50Speaker 1: your English premiere.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Ool.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Kenny has no idea what it is.
- 27:55Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 27:57Speaker 1: All right, start with the Bills, the Boffalo Bills, AFC East,
- 28:05Speaker 1: and I'm gonna tell you right now, the Boofolo Bills
- 28:08Speaker 1: finished twelve and five. I'm gonna tell you right now
- 28:12Speaker 1: that I am not big on Boffalo eight and nine. Yeah, yeah,
- 28:20Speaker 1: you lost the guy that built your defense.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Defense was the problem. They were twenty something in run defense.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Their offense was.
- 28:27Speaker 2: So they're bringing in a younger, more energetic defensive coordinator,
- 28:32Speaker 2: Jim Leonard, switching to a three four, which better fits them.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Okay, they're keeping their players they have.
- 28:40Speaker 2: They're keeping the offense still the same plus plus improving
- 28:45Speaker 2: plus improving players.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Did they bring in on defense? I don't know.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Let's look at it.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Let's look it up. See, Kenny, you're just not ready.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I need you're ready. So they they My second poor
- 29:00Speaker 1: deal was the second round. They drafted T. J. Parker
- 29:03Speaker 1: out of Clemson. Is an edge. They drafted David Iggy
- 29:09Speaker 1: Bittenson hunter back out of Ohio State. Looks like they
- 29:14Speaker 1: took a linebacker from TCU. In the fourth round, you
- 29:17Speaker 1: got a safety from South Carolina and Kilgore in the
- 29:20Speaker 1: fifth round. A defensive tackles Zain Durant in the fifth
- 29:24Speaker 1: round from Penn State. But what have they done to
- 29:30Speaker 1: improve that defense?
- 29:33Speaker 2: And even not even the defense, I think the biggest Well,
- 29:35Speaker 2: they brought in Bradley Chubb, Okay, CJ. Gardner, Johnson. They've
- 29:39Speaker 2: also brought him in good players, but getting DJ Moore
- 29:43Speaker 2: was huge. They have a legitimate receiver number one, and
- 29:46Speaker 2: they haven't had that since Diggs. To improve on that offense,
- 29:49Speaker 2: So Joe Brady's gonna be calling the offense. Watch you
- 29:55Speaker 2: can't get worse. We've watched poor Josh Allen. Rushing defense
- 29:59Speaker 2: last year was twenty eight. So let's not say it's
- 30:01Speaker 2: the coaching guru of defense that's twenty eighth in rush defense.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Look at him over here with this little magazine. I
- 30:11Speaker 1: had to get my staff.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Don't I love stats, But I can't go through a
- 30:17Speaker 2: whole season.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I appreciate it little.
- 30:19Speaker 2: I appreciate the people at Lindy's that give me those stats. There,
- 30:22Speaker 2: so Lindy Linday's, Linday's Sporting News or Lindy's Lindy's Sports.
- 30:27Speaker 1: I thought it was just regular sporting news.
- 30:29Speaker 2: No, it's Lindy's, Linday's, Lindy's. I like Lindy's and Phil
- 30:35Speaker 2: Still that's the best ones I think as far as
- 30:37Speaker 2: I mean, as far as NFL's Lindy's and Phil Still's
- 30:40Speaker 2: and Sporting News is the best I know. Sorry, well,
- 30:44Speaker 2: I don't mean I'm still won't because I mean we
- 30:46Speaker 2: I got time to place bets and such.
- 30:50Speaker 1: All right, uh, Buffalo, you know you're gonna stow down
- 30:54Speaker 1: at Houston A granted I gave them a win in
- 30:58Speaker 1: that game and you.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Got eight nine, right, Okay, probably we really are you
- 31:03Speaker 2: gonna put these picks together? It's somehow to well.
- 31:06Speaker 1: I'm going to tract. I told you to write them
- 31:08Speaker 1: all down for me. I got them all rope down,
- 31:12Speaker 1: but needed to be legendick.
- 31:15Speaker 2: But it's the I just I You're taking a team
- 31:19Speaker 2: that didn't lose much, still has one of the best
- 31:22Speaker 2: running backs in James Cook, got better on offense, re
- 31:26Speaker 2: signed their center who was critical to keeping that line together.
- 31:30Speaker 2: He was a free agent. And I just I just
- 31:34Speaker 2: think that they're going to be so good and if
- 31:37Speaker 2: you look at their schedule, it's pretty easy as easier.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Fuck you say, hold on, you gotta.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Play New England twice. You've got the Bears and the
- 31:47Speaker 1: Packers back to back. Okay, you have to go two
- 31:50Speaker 1: mile high and listen towards the end of the season, but.
- 31:53Speaker 2: You also remember you got four conference where he four
- 31:56Speaker 2: division wins. Anyway, that's four winds because the Dolphins. Okay,
- 32:00Speaker 2: okay yet okay, so that's four wins right there.
- 32:03Speaker 1: You started the season against the Texans, the Lions, the Chargers,
- 32:08Speaker 1: and the Patriots and the Rams.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Well, and the reason I say probably a little bit
- 32:13Speaker 2: easier is I don't like I'm not real as high
- 32:15Speaker 2: on the Patriots. I thought the Patriots had an easier
- 32:17Speaker 2: schedule last year. Their schedule increases. Now they did get
- 32:22Speaker 2: a J.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Brown.
- 32:23Speaker 2: We'll talk about them in a minute, but that'll be
- 32:26Speaker 2: a hope. But what's what's their opener as far as
- 32:28Speaker 2: regular physicians?
- 32:29Speaker 1: Not the open in Houston?
- 32:31Speaker 2: Okay, no, it said I was looking at I didn't
- 32:34Speaker 2: see preseason.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I see that. Now we're gonna have to order him
- 32:37Speaker 1: some glasses I have.
- 32:39Speaker 2: I have Bill's fourteen and three, and I'll tell you
- 32:41Speaker 2: why not.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Only are we gonna have to get you a new
- 32:44Speaker 1: fucking phone that you refused to for the last twenty years.
- 32:47Speaker 1: But your new glasses, No.
- 32:49Speaker 2: I see it now. Okay, Bill's Bill's beat the Texans
- 32:52Speaker 2: because I think the Texans, well, who I think are
- 32:54Speaker 2: really good. I don't think they're offensively as good.
- 32:57Speaker 1: I've got that opening.
- 32:57Speaker 2: It's gonna be like twenty something. I do have them
- 33:02Speaker 2: losing to the to the Lions, even though it's home.
- 33:04Speaker 2: But I think is that one of the way funny
- 33:07Speaker 2: games in Munich or something? Is that a is that
- 33:11Speaker 2: one of the foreign games. I'm not for sure. I
- 33:14Speaker 2: could be wrong with the Okay, so then it's just
- 33:20Speaker 2: at the Bills. Okay, I'm thinking of a different different
- 33:23Speaker 2: I think. I think Detroit goes somewhere from Munich. It
- 33:26Speaker 2: seems like and uh yeah, that's okay, well high Mark,
- 33:32Speaker 2: now let me let me new stadium.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Yeah, okay.
- 33:37Speaker 2: So we've got the Bills losing, winning Game one, losing
- 33:40Speaker 2: Game two, and I love the Chargers, but Chargers are
- 33:43Speaker 2: not gonna win at all. And the Chargers do not
- 33:45Speaker 2: have the offense I think to keep up with them.
- 33:49Speaker 2: The defense is better. But you gotta think my mentor's
- 33:51Speaker 2: already left. I went to Baltimore, so I don't know
- 33:56Speaker 2: what you're thinking of. But I know that I did
- 33:59Speaker 2: remember the Niners Rams were in Melbourne.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Yeah, that's opening week starts Week three, Ravens Cowboys in
- 34:08Speaker 1: Real Dejaneo, bra Field.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Yeah, that'll be fun.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Coltman we yeah, we have Colts Commanders at Tottenham in
- 34:16Speaker 1: October of week four, Week five, Philly Jaggs as well
- 34:21Speaker 1: in Tottenham Houston Jackson, I don't know what you were
- 34:24Speaker 1: thinking about.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought that, Oh, no, there it is, there's Alliance.
- 34:28Speaker 2: I knew they played time they played the.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Union in Munich. Yeah, well, we.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Don't say what I was thinking. I was thinking correct.
- 34:35Speaker 2: I didn't ed Madrid. What a shitty game you getting.
- 34:40Speaker 1: I didn't know that. We went the thirty fucking game.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Nine games International and it's cool.
- 34:45Speaker 2: They split it up and hopefully I didn't look at
- 34:48Speaker 2: the schedule back to back, I hope. And you've probably
- 34:50Speaker 2: got a better one here on that one to show
- 34:52Speaker 2: if that effects them, yeh, I never get that.
- 34:56Speaker 1: But anyway, ninety's got to go to Mexico City to
- 34:58Speaker 1: play the Vikings.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Later in the year. It'll be nice and warm and
- 35:02Speaker 2: all that good stuff. Let's get back to the bills.
- 35:03Speaker 2: I got them fourteen and three. You've got them two
- 35:06Speaker 2: and sixteen, I think.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Anyway, so you think the Chargers are gonna beat them away, Okay,
- 35:13Speaker 2: you're wrong. Patriots at Bill's win. Yeah, and then Patriots.
- 35:19Speaker 2: I do have them beating the Run.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Said that wrong. You got the Bills of Patriots.
- 35:23Speaker 2: I've made the Bills and the Patriots.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, I got Rams beating them.
- 35:28Speaker 2: I don't. I have the Bills. I think the Bills
- 35:29Speaker 2: are better just as good as the Rams.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Raiders is a win, huh, Ravens is loss.
- 35:37Speaker 2: I actually had Ravens losing that one, even though I
- 35:39Speaker 2: really liked the Ravens. The Vikings was.
- 35:41Speaker 1: You get that three game you get it? I got them.
- 35:44Speaker 1: I got them on a three game stretch of Minnesota,
- 35:47Speaker 1: the Jets and the Dolphins winning.
- 35:48Speaker 2: No, and I had I had them losing to the
- 35:50Speaker 2: Vikings because I think, if my schedule pans out, is
- 35:53Speaker 2: they've had such a good run with all these teams.
- 35:56Speaker 2: I think they let down on this one. Every team's
- 35:58Speaker 2: got a let down later in the year. In Minnesota.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Is a talented enough team.
- 36:02Speaker 1: You take a loss, you take a Chiefe loss, you
- 36:04Speaker 1: take a Patriots loss. Look I even gave him a
- 36:08Speaker 1: Green Bay win.
- 36:09Speaker 2: I had them losing at Chicago.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Losing Chicago, losing Denver, and then going.
- 36:14Speaker 2: You're higher on Denver though, I mean, I'm just I
- 36:17Speaker 2: have him blowing it in Miami. No oh, and seeing
- 36:19Speaker 2: that's stupid. Miami is the okay put in a playoff game.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Picture this playoffs with fourteen.
- 36:28Speaker 1: You know that could be the green Bay switch, the
- 36:30Speaker 1: green Bay Miami.
- 36:31Speaker 2: So for give me a four fourteen playoff of Jets, Cardinals,
- 36:38Speaker 2: Miami and.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Cleveland.
- 36:42Speaker 2: But no, yeah, Cleveland, Yeah clan the worst? You think? So,
- 36:46Speaker 2: I think Miami.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Cleveland's the worst.
- 36:49Speaker 2: I think they're set up. I don't know why that,
- 36:52Speaker 2: and they're so bad as they're going to get a
- 36:54Speaker 2: top pick in Miami. You know who Miami's gonna take
- 36:56Speaker 2: is going to surprise they in this No, no, this
- 37:00Speaker 2: another This could be the year Miami. It's the one
- 37:03Speaker 2: I wanted.
- 37:04Speaker 1: This year.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Miami goes, hmm, let's trade this bitch, because we don't
- 37:08Speaker 2: need a quarterback if Malik plays, all right, So get
- 37:12Speaker 2: down three or four.
- 37:13Speaker 1: You got to remember Quinn yours is the backup there.
- 37:16Speaker 2: What don't matter. Say they're not going to draft a
- 37:19Speaker 2: quarterback on it. You've and Quinn and that could be
- 37:23Speaker 2: the legitimate year we see the number one pick traded
- 37:26Speaker 2: for a.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Haul a haul Yeah, yeah, take it, take it all?
- 37:33Speaker 2: Is what about jeremih Smith wide Receiveral House State, He's
- 37:36Speaker 2: gonna go in there somewhere. You're gonna have some good
- 37:38Speaker 2: defensive players, and you got plenty of quarterbacks, so you could, essentially,
- 37:44Speaker 2: depending on who else is up there, really fall down. Okay,
- 37:49Speaker 2: fourteen to three I have for them. I just think
- 37:52Speaker 2: they're good.
- 37:52Speaker 1: But you're right.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I said the schedules easier easy. I think it's easier
- 37:56Speaker 2: because of who the teams I'm not so high on,
- 37:59Speaker 2: like Denver. I'm not high on like the Patriots, but.
- 38:01Speaker 1: I'm saying that's Denver in Denver.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Now the Rams, that could be a swap.
- 38:06Speaker 1: You know.
- 38:06Speaker 2: I've tussled with that one. But something in the Rams
- 38:10Speaker 2: schedule made me think the Bills would win that and
- 38:12Speaker 2: I can't remember what it was. But anyway, let's move on.
- 38:15Speaker 2: So are they your first place team or your second
- 38:17Speaker 2: place team or in the second Okay, so you have
- 38:19Speaker 2: the Patriots. What do you have the Patriots going?
- 38:22Speaker 1: I have New England eleven and six, nine and eight, Okay,
- 38:28Speaker 1: so we're not really far off of that. Now. I've
- 38:30Speaker 1: just got two more games as a win.
- 38:34Speaker 2: And that's your top. So you just don't really think
- 38:35Speaker 2: they're really that conference.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Is that good? No, No, I got a weak conference.
- 38:40Speaker 1: AFC East week well, and I'm not gonna lie to you.
- 38:44Speaker 1: I think both Easts are weak this year.
- 38:48Speaker 2: I have them now. I thought their schedule was tougher
- 38:50Speaker 2: than the Bills because you look at at Seattle, at Jacksonville,
- 38:54Speaker 2: at Buffalo. Right to start the season. I had a
- 38:57Speaker 2: Pittsburgh win in there, though I did have them beating
- 38:59Speaker 2: Pittsburgh because it's a home game. But they start three
- 39:02Speaker 2: out of four on the road, three out of four
- 39:04Speaker 2: on the road, Okay, then they get it gets easy,
- 39:08Speaker 2: you know, Jets.
- 39:09Speaker 1: And well even I even gave them a Denver loss.
- 39:14Speaker 1: But I also gave him a Chargers loss. After the
- 39:19Speaker 1: coming off of bye week, Buffalo win, Minnesota win, Kansas
- 39:23Speaker 1: City win, New Jersey win, Denver lost, Miami win. To
- 39:27Speaker 1: end out the season. I even gave him losses to
- 39:30Speaker 1: Green Band Detroit. Well, I gave him a Chicago win.
- 39:34Speaker 2: I didn't I give him a Chicago loss. But at
- 39:36Speaker 2: the end of the year, after the bye I had
- 39:39Speaker 2: them losing to the Chargers in Buffalo and then winning
- 39:41Speaker 2: the rest of the games.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Okay, so we do have two We both have two
- 39:44Speaker 1: losses coming off the buy at the end of the season.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yours is is different, right, So who'ld you disagree with? Earlier?
- 39:55Speaker 1: I got him beating I got him losing the Seattle,
- 39:57Speaker 1: beating pitt beating Jacksonville, losing to Buffalo, beating Vegas, beating Jersey.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the Chicago win, beating Chicago, beating Miami, then
- 40:07Speaker 1: losing to Green Bay in Detroit because their bye week
- 40:10Speaker 1: sets at week eleven. I didn't like that, because the
- 40:12Speaker 1: bye week sets at week eleven and it's one of
- 40:15Speaker 1: the later.
- 40:16Speaker 2: It's the reason why at Chicago winning, it's a short turnaround.
- 40:20Speaker 2: They go back Thursday and play Chicago.
- 40:22Speaker 1: But I never really looked at at what days of
- 40:27Speaker 1: the week those games are on, because we have to
- 40:29Speaker 1: take into consideration that some of those might be a
- 40:31Speaker 1: Thursday into a Sunday or into a Monday.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Sure that Sunday in Chicago is a Thursday.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Okay, so it's a short week for them, right, I
- 40:44Speaker 1: just I never look at I never look at those
- 40:46Speaker 1: accounts and see the times. My Miami is two and fifteen.
- 40:51Speaker 1: And I'm going to tell you what.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Now, I'm been beating. The Jets are one and sixteen.
- 40:54Speaker 1: The Jets, which we don't really have to four and thirteen.
- 41:00Speaker 1: I was higher on the Jet. I was hiring the
- 41:03Speaker 1: Jets to beat Arizona Tennessee. Oh wait, I'm looking at
- 41:09Speaker 1: the wrong win Cleveland, Tennessee. Okay, Tennessee, Cleveland. I was
- 41:12Speaker 1: looking at the Giants, a Miami win and an Arizona win.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Okay, at Tennessee and Arizona. No, no, I had him
- 41:21Speaker 2: beating the Jets. Have the Jets two and fifteen. You
- 41:23Speaker 2: know what's funny about the Jets? Talk about the Jets
- 41:25Speaker 2: so never really good offense.
- 41:28Speaker 1: No no, no, no, no, no, I said it.
- 41:30Speaker 2: But quarterback Geno's trash, okay, that this is a setup
- 41:34Speaker 2: year to fold.
- 41:35Speaker 1: I think it's Geno's. I think Geno's just spent his
- 41:39Speaker 1: better years at Seattle getting better, and he is now done.
- 41:45Speaker 1: It's it's time for it's man, oh man, time he's
- 41:49Speaker 1: getting a paycheck. And and well, I mean they talked
- 41:52Speaker 1: about Jamie Winston, the fact that he's been in the
- 41:55Speaker 1: league twelve years. Who is the Jets back? I cannot
- 41:59Speaker 1: tell you the club nick he played. I don't know
- 42:02Speaker 1: who they backup, but I.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Know Philly Zappies too are Bailey? I like him? And
- 42:10Speaker 2: he had a horrible ass game, didn't he? Maybe Kate
- 42:13Speaker 2: is that?
- 42:14Speaker 1: So?
- 42:14Speaker 2: What's that tell you their quarterback hunt? They them or
- 42:17Speaker 2: Miami will be.
- 42:18Speaker 1: The number one pick and it's not fun.
- 42:22Speaker 2: That's why I like the Patriots that have those four wins.
- 42:25Speaker 1: I don't want to get fired. I want to have
- 42:28Speaker 1: at least a decent team behind him, because you remember
- 42:30Speaker 1: he got settled to justin fields.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Well, hey what about Jeff Haffley taking over it Miami.
- 42:37Speaker 2: You know a lot of times you see these they're
- 42:39Speaker 2: almost like these mid coaches that are just there for
- 42:42Speaker 2: the the ass kickings. So we build and then it's like, Okay,
- 42:46Speaker 2: thanks your time. We're moving on to a better coach
- 42:49Speaker 2: because our team's better.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Hey, let's not do it with a black guy again.
- 42:53Speaker 1: Let's because the black guy ended up being very very
- 42:57Speaker 1: good coach. Well, taking that ship team that we didn't
- 43:01Speaker 1: want to win to win.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Now, I like their tight end selection. I think no, no, no,
- 43:08Speaker 2: it's a see his god, what is his name?
- 43:13Speaker 1: Cooper?
- 43:15Speaker 2: No, it's CD.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Yeah, he was the number one tight end one, yes,
- 43:21Speaker 1: so was there another guy?
- 43:22Speaker 2: And I think Omark Cooper plays pretty well too.
- 43:25Speaker 1: I did one David Bailey. I did one of my
- 43:27Speaker 1: mock drafts just practically get you ended up with David Bailey.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Thank you. Anyway, that the one man on the line
- 43:34Speaker 2: is not gonna matter with the offenses they played with Drake.
- 43:37Speaker 5: No, but apparently one side will matter, just not why
- 43:41Speaker 5: do they keep running left coaching?
- 43:43Speaker 2: Because well, they got rid of Quinn and Williams, so
- 43:45Speaker 2: then you turn around and that's kind of pretty much
- 43:47Speaker 2: his replacement, you know. But no, I like, I liked
- 43:51Speaker 2: the draft and they had a lot of draft you know,
- 43:53Speaker 2: they had a lot of draft picks, and I think Cooper,
- 43:55Speaker 2: you know, I was doing my mock draft for fantasy
- 43:58Speaker 2: or Fantasy Draft is tomorrow, and some of those rookies
- 44:01Speaker 2: I wanted to pick.
- 44:02Speaker 1: But then I'm looking at.
- 44:03Speaker 2: Their quarterbacks and I'm going, you know, just you know,
- 44:06Speaker 2: it's like, well, Sadiq and Cooper were one. I thought, man,
- 44:11Speaker 2: there's some talent there, and it's like it's Geno Smith,
- 44:14Speaker 2: you know, throwing it to him. I honestly think this
- 44:18Speaker 2: is a it is It just feels like it. It
- 44:25Speaker 2: feels like they're going to go on a three year
- 44:27Speaker 2: run of drafting well, you know, and then you've got
- 44:31Speaker 2: you know, who's the really good wide receiver. I'm drawing
- 44:35Speaker 2: a blank on jets.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Oh is there actual? Yeah? Well is it Wilson?
- 44:40Speaker 2: Is that his last name? Garrett Wilson? What is his name?
- 44:44Speaker 2: I could see? Geez, am, I drawing a blank.
- 44:48Speaker 1: He's so good? You got you got?
- 44:54Speaker 2: Bryce? I am I drawing a name on the is
- 44:59Speaker 2: I'm drawing you got?
- 45:03Speaker 1: He twisted his ankle again.
- 45:06Speaker 2: He'll be fine, He's gonna start.
- 45:07Speaker 1: He'll be fine. Yeah, no, I know that. But still
- 45:10Speaker 1: you're gonna worry about his injuries starting to rack up
- 45:13Speaker 1: with a shitty line appeared to this roster. You said
- 45:18Speaker 1: you're looking for quarterbacks or what spider? I don't know why.
- 45:21Speaker 2: I can't think of his name.
- 45:22Speaker 1: I need to learn it.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Oh, Brady Cook's there too, because I might draft Brady
- 45:25Speaker 2: Cook would probably back up maybe, yeah, more likely.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Zappi will get cut.
- 45:33Speaker 2: He played club.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Nick will come in as now. They got Braylen Allen
- 45:37Speaker 1: as well. Remember he has not been bad. I know,
- 45:43Speaker 1: but I'm saying they have they he's not been bad
- 45:45Speaker 1: for them. They do also have Sam Scott looks like
- 45:49Speaker 1: a white guy, Chip Tatum, Andrew Beck your full back
- 45:58Speaker 1: see Omar Cooper, Junior Lacy and Donna Mitchell.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Oh, I forgot he's there. Yeah, he's on pressed.
- 46:04Speaker 1: But I'm uh Pritchett was I believe Pritchet's the guy
- 46:07Speaker 1: you're thinking of.
- 46:08Speaker 2: No, keep going the main player there, It is Gary Wilson.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Yes, you know, he kept saying Garret Wilson, and I
- 46:14Speaker 1: kept thinking of the comedian Garrett Wilson.
- 46:17Speaker 2: No, I knew he was good. He's making twenty three
- 46:18Speaker 2: million a year, as he should.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Oh, I'm glad to show your paychecks out here. Colin Lace.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Colin Lacey's an interesting pick up at wide. You don't
- 46:30Speaker 2: have You do not have a little short though.
- 46:32Speaker 1: You do not have a bad wide receiver stable right.
- 46:37Speaker 2: You don't have a bad offense except quarterback.
- 46:40Speaker 1: And if that is, how is he gonna play?
- 46:43Speaker 6: Is he gonna play like his prime that he did
- 46:45Speaker 6: in twenty years melon Seattle twenty years ago, or is
- 46:50Speaker 6: he gonna play like when he went to the Raiders,
- 46:55Speaker 6: early Jets and Raiders, or is he gonna play like
- 46:58Speaker 6: he did when he was in Seattle.
- 47:04Speaker 1: The ladder.
- 47:04Speaker 2: I just I think it's not good. I just I
- 47:07Speaker 2: think I think that's why they kept him too. And
- 47:09Speaker 2: I think even the fans are like, what the hell?
- 47:11Speaker 1: They brought him back?
- 47:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, brought him back.
- 47:14Speaker 1: So what I should have said, brought it back because
- 47:16Speaker 1: he's a staple. He's the West Virginia boy.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Check out that Rams game, see the stats on that.
- 47:23Speaker 2: See got a preseason game, Just gonna see Ty Simpson
- 47:27Speaker 2: performed fairly well his first game. O.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Someone's on the Tie Simpson train. And you've got too
- 47:33Speaker 1: shitty too. Stetson Benn's all Stetson Bennett this time.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Look at Stetson.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Go look at Stetson fighting for his second position. Let's
- 47:42Speaker 1: hope he doesn't have another mental health issue and need
- 47:44Speaker 1: to take another year off.
- 47:46Speaker 2: And then you got Spencer Rattler and Zach Wilson. You know,
- 47:49Speaker 2: you know what, guys, you're not gonna get any points.
- 47:52Speaker 2: You're not gonna get well technically zero there. Oh boy,
- 48:00Speaker 2: looks like the running backs are getting Nope, not even there.
- 48:04Speaker 2: You know we're in the third and they've only ran
- 48:07Speaker 2: sixteen times. How many passes? Does that tell you?
- 48:12Speaker 1: What that tell you? We've had ten receptions off of
- 48:17Speaker 1: eighteen targets.
- 48:17Speaker 2: And their rookie already did you see that the kid
- 48:21Speaker 2: from Arizona State, Jordan Twinson already heard what?
- 48:24Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 48:25Speaker 2: Oh, and I'm not he's not gonna don't think you know,
- 48:28Speaker 2: who's nothing.
- 48:28Speaker 1: You don't think he's going to make the opener? Well,
- 48:30Speaker 1: you know there's not in this estimate.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Well, Olave's not in there either. And oh oh you're
- 48:37Speaker 2: talking about I'm sorry rushing. Yeah, I'm about the rest
- 48:39Speaker 2: of Yeah. In you know, they said it was like estimate.
- 48:43Speaker 2: Somebody on TV said, now it's in the end. It's
- 48:46Speaker 2: the kid from Jacksonville.
- 48:48Speaker 1: That's what I thought. But somebody said estimate.
- 48:50Speaker 2: Now, no, I've never.
- 48:55Speaker 1: It sounds familiar roster real quick.
- 49:01Speaker 2: So Sean could prove a point.
- 49:03Speaker 1: No, No, I just I want to say. I want
- 49:04Speaker 1: to because somebody said, yeah, oh, from.
- 49:08Speaker 2: Notre to day, they got fifteen running backs, so they
- 49:13Speaker 2: have they ain't all gonna make it.
- 49:15Speaker 7: You know who you're missing. I know you're missing your
- 49:18Speaker 7: tied end quarterback option. Oh yes, he retired. Yeah, I
- 49:24Speaker 7: would always pick I would always pick him.
- 49:26Speaker 4: Up late.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Taysom Hill and R I p Nick Chubb's career. He
- 49:32Speaker 1: finally stepped away, did he?
- 49:34Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, if you couldn't run it Houston last year,
- 49:37Speaker 2: you ain't running anywhere.
- 49:38Speaker 1: I hate he finally stepped away. I love, I loved
- 49:41Speaker 1: Nick Chubb.
- 49:42Speaker 2: Picked him up seven years too late, my fan.
- 49:45Speaker 1: A lot of people did know your son had him
- 49:48Speaker 1: that one year and he broke his ankle game one Yeah,
- 49:52Speaker 1: angle it was was great.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it done that. He's never been the same he.
- 49:58Speaker 1: Really, They didn't and he didn't really did he. Did
- 50:01Speaker 1: he come back to the Browns. I don't remember he
- 50:04Speaker 1: actually came back to the Browns or if he just said, Okay,
- 50:06Speaker 1: I'm just gonna go over here and play for Houston
- 50:08Speaker 1: for two years.
- 50:09Speaker 2: I don't know because I just had him at Houston,
- 50:11Speaker 2: So I'm not sure. All right, let's get today. So
- 50:14Speaker 2: we disagree quite a bit on the bills. Otherwise, I
- 50:18Speaker 2: just have I just had the Patriots were pretty close
- 50:21Speaker 2: to pretty close to the other.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Respectable five hundred and the other two just right there
- 50:27Speaker 1: in the ass. I really want Aaron Glehead to succeed.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I honestly do I love it? He reminds me of
- 50:36Speaker 1: a friend of mine named Sean from Long Beach. Did
- 50:40Speaker 1: they just have that same look, that same gray ass beard,
- 50:43Speaker 1: and that same what the hell you saying?
- 50:49Speaker 2: You heard me?
- 50:49Speaker 1: Show him?
- 50:51Speaker 2: All right, let's start with our number one team in
- 50:54Speaker 2: the East. I have the Eagles.
- 50:56Speaker 1: What about you? I do believe I have the Philadelphia Eagles.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Now we look here eleven and six.
- 51:05Speaker 2: Let me preface that I believe probably by game six or.
- 51:11Speaker 1: The preface, that Kenny is forever against the Philadelphia Eagles,
- 51:17Speaker 1: and Jalen hurts. And if I have to hear you
- 51:20Speaker 1: say one more time that, oh, it was all the
- 51:22Speaker 1: weapons around him. You could say that for every quarterback. Well,
- 51:26Speaker 1: you could say that for Joe Montagne.
- 51:29Speaker 2: Jalen's made one quarterback that I can tell you.
- 51:31Speaker 1: You probably couldn't say that. For who won Super Bowls.
- 51:34Speaker 1: It was Tom Brady. I hate saying that.
- 51:37Speaker 2: That hurts you.
- 51:37Speaker 1: That hurts it so hard. He never had the talent.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Inside it hurts and even when he had Randy, they
- 51:43Speaker 2: didn't make it that year.
- 51:44Speaker 1: He hurts inside, well, it was a great defenses.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Well you better hope that that, uh mis Jalen hurts
- 51:51Speaker 2: as well his rold check. This year's fifty one million. Oh,
- 51:54Speaker 2: we're looking up spot rag right now, we're fifty one million.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Hey, you won a super Bowl. Why not get fifty
- 52:01Speaker 1: one million? Everyone's forgot about that and so long last year.
- 52:05Speaker 2: No, it wasn't last year, year before last, something like that. See,
- 52:08Speaker 2: it's been so long ago. We've all forgotten.
- 52:10Speaker 1: We haven't. Philly has it.
- 52:12Speaker 5: They're still recovering from the burnings and the poop throw it.
- 52:17Speaker 5: You remember the horse poop, the kid todate the horse poop?
- 52:20Speaker 5: Just Philly, what is wrong with you? I get it,
- 52:23Speaker 5: you win, but don't eat the poops.
- 52:26Speaker 2: I have them going fourteen to three. I got to
- 52:28Speaker 2: eleven and six. Okay, so my only losses I have
- 52:31Speaker 2: them too is Seattle. I do have an upset. I
- 52:37Speaker 2: like Minnesota.
- 52:37Speaker 1: I have a Seattle loss.
- 52:38Speaker 2: I have Minnesota then beating Minnesota. I think it's.
- 52:42Speaker 1: An we started, We're started the beginning, and we're going.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Just I'm just I was just doing losses totally.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Okay. I got a loss at the RAM or lost
- 52:50Speaker 1: with the Rams.
- 52:52Speaker 2: You're saying the Rams are beating them at home? Yes,
- 52:54Speaker 2: you have the Rams going undefeated.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Is that kind of Well, we've already talked about the Rams.
- 52:58Speaker 1: I told you the La Rams are fourteen the three.
- 53:02Speaker 2: And then go down I had, I mean.
- 53:05Speaker 1: Washington loss at Washington. What oh, yeah, you have the
- 53:09Speaker 1: Commanders making the playoffs. I don't have them making the playoffs.
- 53:12Speaker 1: I just have them at a respect for hundred.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, so that's a loss for me.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Then they Dallas lost at Dallas. You lose to Indiana
- 53:25Speaker 1: and Seattle, and then you lose at the Giants because
- 53:29Speaker 1: you're sending everybody end of the season loss to who
- 53:36Speaker 1: the Giants because you're setting everybody.
- 53:38Speaker 2: You could set everybody and still beat the Giants. I
- 53:42Speaker 2: just think, you know, they talk about the parody and
- 53:44Speaker 2: the NFL. I am so leaning to it being less parody.
- 53:49Speaker 1: I wish you'd pull that magazine up in front of
- 53:51Speaker 1: you so you'd speak into the mind or not.
- 53:54Speaker 2: I can't read my writing?
- 53:55Speaker 1: What is this?
- 53:57Speaker 2: What's do they play minus soda all mal?
- 54:02Speaker 1: What is that?
- 54:03Speaker 2: Because I got Seattle and I got whoever o.
- 54:07Speaker 1: C is they played them? Is that the mannequins?
- 54:09Speaker 2: The mannequins, that's who it is.
- 54:11Speaker 1: Wait, No, that's the That's not who they play. That's
- 54:14Speaker 1: not Seattle. Isn't that the offensive coordinator?
- 54:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, that's shown man. That's folks. If you
- 54:23Speaker 2: don't know me by now, my my writing is horrific
- 54:26Speaker 2: and I'm adhd. I do forget somethings. We's see, I'd
- 54:33Speaker 2: already forgot when I wrote bitch.
- 54:35Speaker 1: You didn't see the big O C. That's what gave
- 54:38Speaker 1: it away to me, was the O C that was
- 54:40Speaker 1: next to it.
- 54:41Speaker 2: No, what pissed me off is I didn't finish what
- 54:43Speaker 2: I was doing. That's what I'm supposed to write down
- 54:46Speaker 2: their schedule. So I'm thinking, okay, they got three, so
- 54:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna pull out my schedule here.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Oh my god. So last season they finished eleven and six,
- 54:56Speaker 1: So you just coffee or what?
- 54:57Speaker 8: Yep, just kind of just straight cobby your base break,
- 55:00Speaker 8: copy and paste. Dallas was seven and nut hold on before. Okay,
- 55:03Speaker 8: that's what it is. They lose to Chicago because I
- 55:05Speaker 8: like Chicago. They lose to Chicago, and they lose to
- 55:09Speaker 8: the Rams, like you said, right, and they lose to Dallas.
- 55:14Speaker 2: On a Thursday game. That would be the twenty sixth.
- 55:20Speaker 2: That's a Thursday game, correct, And it's at the cowvity.
- 55:22Speaker 2: Isn't that Thanksgiving?
- 55:25Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 55:25Speaker 2: Probably six week twelve, I believe in they say that
- 55:29Speaker 2: that's well, yeah, it would be a Thursday Thursday for sure.
- 55:32Speaker 2: Damn that's a Thanksgiving game. That's pretty damn good.
- 55:37Speaker 1: I think so now you're looking it up. It is.
- 55:40Speaker 1: So last season it was Philly eleven and six, Dallas
- 55:43Speaker 1: seven and nine, Washington five and twelve, and the Giants
- 55:46Speaker 1: four eagle.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Yeah, so Thanksgiving Day they're gonna do Thanksgiving Eve schedule,
- 55:51Speaker 2: so we can't get drinking drinking like we used to
- 55:53Speaker 2: do on the eve. Green Bay at Rams on Netflix.
- 55:57Speaker 2: And then Thursdays Chicago at Detroit. No, I mean I'm choking. Philadelphia,
- 56:03Speaker 2: Dallas and the Chiefs at the Bills. Then they have
- 56:07Speaker 2: a Black Friday game Denver at Pittsburgh. Oh yeah there,
- 56:12Speaker 2: but that's fine. And it's a too so I keep
- 56:17Speaker 2: going down.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Is there more than that? Just that?
- 56:19Speaker 2: That's it?
- 56:19Speaker 1: That's it. That's pretty good Christmas schedule. Yeah, so yes,
- 56:26Speaker 1: I put I put them in eleven and six, and
- 56:28Speaker 1: I am you know, I gave him and went over
- 56:30Speaker 1: Houston and went over San Francisco. I just are you
- 56:32Speaker 1: talking about Philadelphia? I just think that they come off
- 56:37Speaker 1: that bye that you know, you come off the buy,
- 56:40Speaker 1: you beat Pittsburgh, you run into Dallas, You're you're away schedule.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Well you come you beat Arizona, and then you're gonna
- 56:48Speaker 1: come home and Indiana could be a coin flip, but
- 56:54Speaker 1: Seattle is definitely going to put you to task and
- 56:57Speaker 1: then you're gonna have to win that simply because they
- 57:00Speaker 1: were home right then you're gonna have to end up
- 57:01Speaker 1: with Houston and then a travel game to San Francisco,
- 57:04Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden, your last game is
- 57:06Speaker 1: coming back across the United States to play the Giants.
- 57:10Speaker 1: But it's the Giants in the Middle Lands. I had
- 57:12Speaker 1: him winning out, I had them finished. I'm better with
- 57:15Speaker 1: the coach.
- 57:16Speaker 2: Is a season, the defense, the offenses is you know
- 57:21Speaker 2: for Philly and I obviously the defense is going to
- 57:25Speaker 2: be so good and they always are. If Hurts doesn't
- 57:28Speaker 2: make mistakes, that defense will. Fante Smith is an interesting
- 57:34Speaker 2: fantasy pick. How are you feeling about that? Have you?
- 57:37Speaker 2: Have you been doing your research for the big Drifts.
- 57:39Speaker 2: That's somebody you're going to try to sneak in and
- 57:41Speaker 2: try to get someone that thinks and everyone's like, oh.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I can't believe he picked in that out. They look
- 57:45Speaker 1: what he did.
- 57:47Speaker 2: Because how you win fantasy is your quarterback and the rookies.
- 57:50Speaker 1: How you really my rookies both got hurt last season.
- 57:54Speaker 2: You didn't win last season.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Well, I was in the playoffs that was on, but
- 58:00Speaker 1: I had Scattaboo and I had Quinjehn Jenkins.
- 58:04Speaker 2: And you had a good season with him until they
- 58:06Speaker 2: went till they went out. I'm saying that's how you
- 58:08Speaker 2: win it as your rookies that no one picks.
- 58:10Speaker 1: But here's the issue is with the wide receiver rookie.
- 58:14Speaker 2: But we can't pick any We got to pick one
- 58:16Speaker 2: less rookie because we got to pick a kicker this year.
- 58:18Speaker 1: So yeah, he's got a kicker.
- 58:20Speaker 2: The hap to be late night.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Kicker studying tonight.
- 58:24Speaker 2: Now I already know who I'm picking. I already know
- 58:27Speaker 2: who I'm picking.
- 58:27Speaker 1: So the issue was with rookies and fantasy football is
- 58:33Speaker 1: the wide receiver position. They're never a constant no until
- 58:39Speaker 1: season game, until season two, when they've established themselves as
- 58:45Speaker 1: either wide receiver too or wide receiver one. That's when
- 58:49Speaker 1: you finally start getting the points out of rookie. Wide
- 58:52Speaker 1: receivers are such it and miss. Well.
- 58:54Speaker 2: The first year we played, I drafted Jamiir Gibbs in
- 58:57Speaker 2: like the fourth or fifth round, and everyone's like, never
- 58:59Speaker 2: heard of her, and I'm thinking, this guy's good.
- 59:02Speaker 1: And not everybody I knew who she was.
- 59:06Speaker 3: Yeah, but you didn't pick. You had opportunities, and I
- 59:09Speaker 3: wasn't taking rookies. I was trying to take established guys
- 59:12Speaker 3: and I won that season. You did, that's right there,
- 59:16Speaker 3: and then Daxon won again the next season.
- 59:19Speaker 1: So what do you think about.
- 59:21Speaker 2: I'm probably I probably should hush my fantasy talk. I
- 59:24Speaker 2: might be giving away some of my all right, So
- 59:29Speaker 2: you got Eagles for fourteen thirteen, you've got them eleven
- 59:32Speaker 2: and six. All right, how about the Cowboys? Now this
- 59:34Speaker 2: is where well, you actually have Washington second places eight,
- 59:44Speaker 2: so we'll take your nine and eighteen. So remember this episode,
- 59:47Speaker 2: ladies and gentlemen, is this is the probably this is
- 59:52Speaker 2: probably the biggest game difference we've had and picked so
- 59:57Speaker 2: far that I can remember Washington and I've got them
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: three and fourteen. Right, Okay, So Jayde and Daniels me,
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: I do like to have a new OC David Blouse
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: coming in. Terry mclaurin's always great. Signed Diggs.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Will the will the jersey issue in the nil issue
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: at LSU end up becoming a distraction?
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: Oh, it already is for him, I promise you. In
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: the baseball teams, congratulations to all the baseball teams that
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: tweeted out after that happened. It was great. We couldn't
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: score five, so we scored six and four to one win.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: We just couldn't get there to five because of Jade Daniels.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: I mean they were everywhere the tweets.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: It was great.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: Yes, there were so many major league teams hopping on that.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: I know a lot of people. I know a lot
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: of people jumped his ass for it.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: It's stupid to say that it's a fucking number.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: But it's not even him. It's uh, it's his mom
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: or something. It's whoever's representing him.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: They asked Lane Train and he's like, I'm just not
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: going to talk about that. I'm thinking, like, you.
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: Don't already have enough, Bessy, that I don't need to
- 1:01:07Speaker 8: talk about exactly watching my daughter and that linebacker over there,
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: but I do.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Not like the schedule for the Commanders is another reason.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: So they open at the Eagles on the road loss,
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: they open up the Cowboys on the road loss, they
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: have to go to Seattle loss Colts. They actually I do.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Have them beginning their season at two and three, two
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: and three.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Sorry, they do beat and they do beat the Giants.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I've got to beating Seattle, losing and then beating
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: the Giants. So then because I've got this team like
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: many of my ex girlfriends, and.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: I don't think that crazy. I don't think the forty
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: nine ers. I don't think the Pinners are very good.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: I think I picked them to win seven, but they'd
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: lose to the forty nine ers. Then they go into
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: their bye week and then it comes to Eagles rams.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: I have the Giants as a win, Okay, No, I don't.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: I had I have them splitting with the Giants splitting
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: right home and Homans at the Bengals. You think the
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Bengals aren't very good. Joe, if Joe smoking, Joe's still healthy,
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: then I think the Bengals win Cardinals is a is
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: a loss that was my right.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Bengals team is about to just implode.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: I had. I did have Arizona with the one crazy
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: win beating the Commanders. I had to give them one
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: on their side, and Titans is a loss. Then you
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: go to Texans, Falcons, Vikings, Jaguars, Cowboys. I just don't
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: like any of that. And I just I think their defense,
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: although they did go to death away deaf and way
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: on the defense and.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: A gentleman once again trying to read his own writing,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: that's deaf and o way.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: It's not the same guy. I just see the offensive
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: coordinator to blow.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: I think that's how you pronounce it b l O
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: U g H. I think it's could be didn't uh
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: poop pants? Where did he go to?
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: You know?
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: Stupid offensive coordinator was a cardinal Deffie Oway is the
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: same guy, so I knew it.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: I wonder why I had a period.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: I don't know. You probably accidentally just dropped the pin.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: M Cliff Kingsbury. Now where has he ended up? Is
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: he was the coordinator last year? Did he go to
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: be with his boy Lincoln? Is this why we're getting
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: high highly touted ram rams?
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Same town he went the rams?
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: So they're still dining at the same restaurants because they're
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: both getting paid millions of dollars they should be I forgot.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: I thought that was a good I thought that was
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: a good stop for him.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: All right, Yeah, I mean hopefully he learned something.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: So you have So what do you got the Cowboys?
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: I have them twelve and five and you probably have
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: them with a losing rate. No, okay, so is that
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: a bigger I don't think that's the biggest they got.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: I gave them. Look, I gave them they with one.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: They've got a late bye, they've got they've got the
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: latest bye with the Arizona Cardinals in week fourteen. So
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: that is against them right there that week fourteen. Yes,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I did give them three starting three opening day wins
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: or opening game wins Giants, Washington and Baltimore.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: See, I didn't.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: And then they they go on a four game losing
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: spree of Houston, Tampa, Green Bay, Philly. Then you get
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: two wins at Arizona, Indiana, you lose to the Niners,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: you beat Tennessee, you get a win over Philly, you
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: lose at Seattle. That's your bye week, and you end
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: up finishing out because you're mostly injured at one in three.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: He having me three and one finishing out.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Right, Well, that's because you need to understand that they're.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Well Jacksonville Giants and Washington. Everybody's gonna be hurting by then.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: I mean, and I don't think any of those teams are.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Then we have Jacksonville trying to get to note they're eight.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: Can't trust Trevor.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Look if you pick.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Everybody's because I'm like, I'm like, god, I did and
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: and he But you know, then Brian Jackson and Brian
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: Jackson played like ship last year.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: You know was it?
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Jacoby Myers was the one that played. I didn't have him.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: They him switching, They switching a kid he was. I
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: think finally towards the end you got him on his
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: cycle where he was like, okay, I'll play him, and
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: he went, oh there it is.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Okay finally because I've just not been a fan, but
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: I like.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: I ended it with Herbert and Baker and I could
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: never get on Baker's cycle. That was one of the
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: hardest things. I can't New York Giants.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: It's just, you know, I think he's to have one
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: of the greatest I gave that.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I gave them eight nine because of the quarterback, five
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: and twelve coach. I like their wide receivers.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: Are they going to stay healthy?
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Their wide receivers should you miss.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: Most of your last slates and can cams scatterby stay healthy?
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: Can Jackson dark stay off the ground?
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Can Jackson? No, he just questions the All he does
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: is question why he needs to have another Ah. I
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: should have one right now. Concussion protocol words they escape me.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: Tennessee, Arizona, Washington twice, Washington, Indy, Cleveland. Let me read
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: their schedule real quick. To the fans out here yet,
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: to the fans, to the Cowboys at Giants, Giants at Rams,
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: Titans at Giants, not bad, Cardinals at Giants not bad. Hey,
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Giants at Commanders.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Hold on real quick. You're reading this like you're reading
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: a children's book.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: And then we've got Saints, Giants. Then you go Texans, Eagles, Commanders,
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: Saints and Giants.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: You got Saints, Texans, Eagles, Commanders.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Whatever, Saints, Texans. Yeah no, I was talking Giants and Texans.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: I should have kept going Jags Colts is a win.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: But then you go forty nine Ers, Seahawks, Browns is
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: a win, Lions, Cowboys, Eagles.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Uh huh, I meant more than five wins because remember
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: you got that end of the season Eagles setting everybody win.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: But you say that, So that's one difference. But I
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: still think that they would win. And you know what,
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: I don't think the Eagles are going to be setting
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: because we've talked about the Rams and the Seahawks having
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: upper identical records, So I don't I think there's gonna
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: be some seating in place there because I do believe
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: still how the playoffs goes, isn't it number one gets
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: the buy and that's it.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, absolutely, mister representative from I yield my time,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: never says Katy Weeds. Do I yield my time?
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: No, I'm so fu you need a filibuster this guy.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: I am so ready for football. Yeah, I mean real fun.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: This preseason, like I said, is not my thing. Every
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: team when you've got right now because card but.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: I got hacked.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: But no, you think about the Colts. I picked to
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: win zero games. I just wanted some. They picked they
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: won zero. I picked him to go oh and seventeen
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: last year. And remember I joked, I was like, well,
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: sure they're going to win some, but it's just how
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: the schedule worked out. They went seven and one when
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: Danny Dimes was was on quarterback.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Sure it got hurt.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: And so that shows how different that those teams could be.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: That how we do these picks? Granted, I think Washington
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: is going to win more than three games, but I
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: couldn't put him in there because I just didn't think they.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Still got McLaren.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Don't they They did McLaurin, Yeah, they do.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: And they signed Diggs so University of Texas, but I
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: don't know about I don't know if you saw that
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: dismissed one of their main linebackers.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Who is he a starter?
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: Look at start freaking. He's probably a backup. And so
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: we appeared, appeared in twelve games last year, one start
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: in the Cheese and Bowl.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Right, he was supposed to be the news.
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: Ah, he wasn't going to be the big time guy though.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: So he's got transfers coming in, right, but he already
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: knew the team. I want to see his payroll.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Oh, we don't get that to lead the season.
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: But we do even get the payrolls.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Yeah we had it last year. Oh, he was like
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: number two in pay. But they don't individualize the pay
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: That's what I said.
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: No, no, no, no is payroll.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: No, No, we don't. We don't do the individual We
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: can't do that.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: They did a tier.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: It's very hard.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: They did a tear study and oh you made the
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: thirty and above.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Yeah, oh you was.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: We didn't make the talking about donors, we didn't make
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: the forty.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: I just don't think the majority of our money is
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: going to football like they are the donor. They showed
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: donor wise. I saw donor wise. We were right behind
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Texas well in money. Okay, but I'm just saying donor money.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: I'm not saying where the donor money went. I don't
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: know where the money goes. We were second in the
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: sec we were. You were right behind Texas. You this
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: has been months ago, or is.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: That total donor money that might not even be sports
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: included as well?
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: I don't know. I did not well.
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: Roger Danny eighty signed Brett an extension, getting gonna get
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: a brand Sorry, signed to extension.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Hey, Michael Poenix has but fully cleared for Falcons.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: Ten years six something that keeps Brent through Oklahoma for
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: a while, which I mean makes sense. I mean, like
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: I've always said, and even if he goes seven and
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: five or eight before this year, he's gonna whip your
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: ass when he's the DC.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Somewhere else you're doing twenty seven to nothing, or you're
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: up twenty seven to nothing in a preseason game. You
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: let stetson minute ride like it's a like you're in
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: the last quarter.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: Unless there's seventy behind him beginning of the last quarter.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: I don't think that there's don't either.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: They generally don't keep a lot of quarterbacks on stat
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: it's going to it'll be Stafford Simpson.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: And that's why they had to end up getting Baker
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: from Carolina.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: Because someone got hurt.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right, all right?
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: Anything else?
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know. We just talked about Giants are
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: up twenty three to three. We've got a Bears game
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: coming up with six Chiefs Bucks at six.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: Thirty, Cowboys and Cardinals tonight.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: I don't know if Kenny's even gonna watch thoseops.
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: I'll be uh, I'll be prepping for other things tonight.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: I have a war room to have a draft.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: No, you're going to you're going to Megan's. You don't
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: have a war room. The kitchen table.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: Here's my war room.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: The show does she let you get away with this?
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: She knows that the season is coming, that we won't
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: talk much, hold hands much, see each other much.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Nikes. I know that's a dirty line.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: She don't watch foot. She'll get me on Tuesdays until
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: it's Maction time match and the MAC you know they
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: they'll fire up some Tuesday games.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: No, I understood it. I just can't believe you said it.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: What's wrong with it? It's it's it's action.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: What's wrong with it? It's the Mac?
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: But it's football. We enjoy it, all right. Thanks for
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: joining us. I can't wait to talk more football. We'll
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: be doing the FC North as in the NFC North.
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: We'll see how stupid Sean's picks are next week, so
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: please join us for that as the Commander's roll to
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: the super Bowl.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Thank you again. In the Super Bowl, I don't know
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: if we're doing this Thursday or not. No, it might
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: not be Thursday. It could be sometimes. It's definitely not
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: gonna be Friday. Okay, Friday, because we have a teenage
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: game to go to. Alright, So al right, everybody, goodbye,
