- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:02Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're picking up where we
- 0:06left off with the Gleam Maxwell transcripts from July twenty fourth.
- 0:13So after you find out about it, what happens with
- 0:16your relationship with him? Maxwell? I asked him. I asked
- 0:20him what was going on? Blanche? Okay? Maxwell? And he said,
- 0:24not to worry nothing, nothing, taking care, don't worry about it. Indiscernible,
- 0:30and then it all went quiet. He didn't say, he
- 0:34didn't share. I wasn't part of it at all. I
- 0:37was off with Ted and I really just to that.
- 0:40She's cut off by Blanche. Did he tell you? Well,
- 0:43why don't we come back to more specifics around that
- 0:46time period in a few minutes? Maxwell, Okay, Blanche, I
- 0:50just want to finish this opening part so that case
- 0:54goes on ultimately it ends. What was your relationship like
- 0:58with him during that case? When he goes, you know,
- 1:01when he was sentenced Maxwell, he told me, he said, listen,
- 1:07I'm going to jail. I was like, okay, and he goes,
- 1:10I would like you to stay on board to manage
- 1:12the properties, the animals, this and that, and just stay
- 1:15put and I'll continue to pay you in case there
- 1:18is an emergency. I don't trust anyone. And I was like, okay, Blanche. Well,
- 1:23when you said continue to pay Maxwell, he had never
- 1:26stopped paying me, Blanche, he never stopped paying you. So
- 1:30even when your relationship changes, you are getting Does the
- 1:33amount increase from the twenty five thousand or so a
- 1:36year from the beginning? Like, how much are you getting
- 1:38paid yearly? Maxwell? I think it ended at the time, Well,
- 1:43we had different payment structures and I'm happy to explain
- 1:45how that was, but I think the salary wise, if
- 1:48I'm right, it ended at around a quarter of a
- 1:50million a year, Blanche. How much quarter of a million?
- 1:53Two hundred and fifty thousand? And when did that stop? Maxwell?
- 1:58Two thousand and eight or nine? Blanche? So Maxwell cuts
- 2:02him off, oh nine, When did he come out of jail?
- 2:04Whenever he came out of jail, Blanche? Okay, So, And
- 2:08over the years it increased from what you said was
- 2:12you thought about twenty five thousand to two hundred and
- 2:15fifty thousand. That's between like ninety or early nineties until
- 2:19two thousand and nine or ten. Whenever that stopped? Is
- 2:21that right? Maxwell? Yes, yes, Blanche, And how are you paid?
- 2:28Maxwell W two? Blanche W two from what company? Maxwell?
- 2:33He like, he just moved me around over to this
- 2:36company that I didn't care, Blanche okay, Maxwell, And I
- 2:40didn't care, and I didn't think that. I didn't understand
- 2:43any rhyme or reason. It doesn't I just you know whatever,
- 2:47Blanche okay. Maxwell. So maybe she gets cut off by Blanche.
- 2:52So when he's going to go to jail, he says,
- 2:54can you stay around and manage everything? Or was it
- 2:57here's some money? Don't say anything. That's probably what it was, right,
- 3:02but sure, Glenn Maxwell's now the arbiter of truth for
- 3:05the Trump administration. Glenn Maxwell, Yeah, Todd, Blanche, and do
- 3:11you do that? Maxwell? I do, Blanche okay, And then
- 3:14we'll come back to that. Maxwell will not manage everything, though,
- 3:19I mean there are other people at this point. My
- 3:22specific role then was very very diminished. Blanche okay. I
- 3:26reviewed the bill structure that came from the constructions that
- 3:30were still made the island, Blanche okay, Maxwell, and wherever
- 3:34else I was going Paris at that point, because I
- 3:37speak French, I'm fluent in French. And also my relationship
- 3:41with the French decorator was critical to him, and then
- 3:44the French component part of that aspect that was really vital.
- 3:48And so you would have to find someone who was
- 3:51actually and the Spanish trilingual, and would have had to
- 3:54find someone who was tri lingual and that he trusted. Blanche.
- 3:59Did you to that he's cut off again by Maxwell
- 4:02to manage not steal from him? Blanche? Did you so
- 4:05when he gets out of jail between that time in
- 4:08twenty nine and ten and twenty nineteen, Well, what's your
- 4:11relationship like with mister Epstein Maxwell? Almost non existent? Blanche? Why? Maxwell?
- 4:18I had just moved on and I didn't want to
- 4:20have anything. I didn't want the drama. I didn't want
- 4:23to be associated with Blanche. So do you recall when
- 4:26you say almost non existent? Does that mean Glenn Maxwell?
- 4:30It doesn't mean it's she's cut off again by Blanche.
- 4:34Was it some phone calls, some visits Maxwell? Definitely Blanche
- 4:39some trips or what does it mean? Maxwell? I don't
- 4:42think there were ever any trips. I don't think so, Blanche,
- 4:46where were you living during this time period? Or was
- 4:49it's he's cut off again by Maxwell? Which time period? Blanche?
- 4:53Between two thousand and nine and twenty ten and twenty nineteen, Maxwell,
- 4:57I was back in New York, Blanche, Okay, so you
- 5:01had no so your you had the phone calls with
- 5:04them on occasion, Maxwell, Yes, well, I certainly did. When
- 5:08it was whenever was any legal drama or anything like
- 5:11that serious press attention. I always called to try and
- 5:14find out what was going on, Blanche okay. And then
- 5:18Maxwell cuts him off again, And I did email him
- 5:21at the time for those types of details. I was like,
- 5:23what do I do? What I mean? I was like Blanche.
- 5:28And then when he's charged in New York federally Maxwell, Yes, Blanche,
- 5:32how did you learn about that? Maxwell? In the press? Blanche?
- 5:37And you, as far as you know, been contacted by
- 5:40law enforcement before his arrest. Maxwell No, I wasn't in
- 5:44an indictment, Blanche. No, I know that. But even as
- 5:48a witness or asking you if you would have had
- 5:50documents or materials, Maxwell, I had never Up until when
- 5:55my lawyer said that, I don't even know. I had
- 5:58no knowledge of them being interested me. Honestly, I don't
- 6:01want to say until after he died. Now I know
- 6:04that my lawyers were in touch with the SDNY at
- 6:07some point after his arrest. I'm pretty sure that had
- 6:10to have happened, right, Blanche Okay. But my understanding is
- 6:14that they had not shown any interest. I know my
- 6:17lawyers went to see them once. I believe Blanche went
- 6:21to see meaning mister Epstein, Glam Maxwell know them, the
- 6:24Southern District of New York, Blanche Okay, the SDNY Okay, Maxwell, sorry,
- 6:30and that they had been in regular in touch with
- 6:32them and Blanche. But now you're talking about after mister
- 6:36Epstein died or are you talking about before he died? Maxwell?
- 6:40I think she gets cut off again by Blanche. If
- 6:43you can remember Maxwell easily verifiable. My memory is that
- 6:47we were in touch with him when he was arrested. Blanche,
- 6:50uh huh. Maxwell, I don't know if anything happened until
- 6:53after his death. Then after that, Blanche okay, Maxwell, I
- 6:57don't think they saw them met with them Southern District
- 7:00of New York. I'm talking about now until after he died.
- 7:04I know that they were in regular telephone contact with him,
- 7:06and that my lawyers believed that they had been told
- 7:09that they had no interest in me. Blanche okay, Maxwell,
- 7:13and were absolutely stunned when I was arrested. But maybe
- 7:16stunned is too big a word, but surprised I certainly was, Blanche. Okay,
- 7:22So okay. That was the long description of what was
- 7:26a very long life and what was and that was
- 7:28very helpful. So I want to go back and talk
- 7:30some specifically now about particular areas and but a very
- 7:34helpful kind of foundation for us. The first thing that
- 7:38I want to talk to you about, and we talked
- 7:40earlier about mister Epstein's financial success. You know, how do
- 7:44you know when you first met him, at some point
- 7:46you say, I got this place for you to rent.
- 7:49You can't afford it, and he laughs at you and says,
- 7:51yes I can. What did you learn about his wealth
- 7:54and how he was how he was accumulated his money? Maxwell,
- 7:58I can tell you what he told me, Blanche. Yes, Maxwell,
- 8:02I know that he was hired from working at a
- 8:03private school whose name eludes me at this point, Lea
- 8:08Safion Dalton, Glenn Maxwell Dalton. He was working at Dalton.
- 8:12He was a math teacher and he met I think
- 8:15it was Ace. I'm not sure he met someone from
- 8:17Bear who hired him because he was very good at math,
- 8:20and I believe that when he worked at creating a
- 8:22trading of Oh my gosh, Blanche, just describe it. It's okay,
- 8:26go ahead, Maxwell. He came up with some new type
- 8:29of trading system. Not a system so much, but a
- 8:33trading vehicle. Blanche, Okay, Maxwell, I'm just scrape. I'm just
- 8:37escaping right now, Blanche. And this is while he was
- 8:41working at bar Stearns. Maxwell at barra Stearns. Yes, Blanche, okay, Maxwell,
- 8:47And well to that she's cut off by Blanche. And
- 8:50this is before you met him, Maxwell. Yes, Blanche, So
- 8:54this is what he told you Maxwell, Yes, Blanche, what
- 8:58you learned? Maxwell? Yes, this is what he told me, Blanche, okay,
- 9:02Maxwell himself, Blanche. So then eventually he starts a financial firm.
- 9:08Do you know anything about that to be true or no?
- 9:10Jay Epstein in company, you ever heard of that? I
- 9:14think it's yeah, so yes, So hang on a minute.
- 9:17This I did not know, but this is I have
- 9:20subsequently learned, Blanche, Okay. Maxwell. Is that some problem or
- 9:24some issue at bari Sterns. And there was some I
- 9:27don't know, disagreement. He wasn't fired because obviously he was
- 9:30still very friendly with Ace and Jimmy, at least by
- 9:33the time I met him, but they were working with
- 9:35him and he ran he had clients money at Bara Sterns. Blanche, Okay, Maxwell,
- 9:41and his money is client's money. Well, I'll come to that.
- 9:44But he started. He told me himself that he started
- 9:47a business where he looked for stolen money. So if somebody,
- 9:49let's see, I'm trying to think of some intelligent way
- 9:52to say it, but I can't think of anything I've
- 9:55been with. Not great, I'll give it to you. So
- 9:57let's say you're l Chopo. Oh god, I don't. I
- 10:00don't know where this comes from. But anyway, we've got
- 10:02al Chopo and Al Choppo's laundering money. And still he's
- 10:05working with the Cinaloa cartel and he steals money from
- 10:08the Cinaloa cartel and he moves it to wherever. So
- 10:11he's gotten stolen money from the Cinaloa cartel, goes to it.
- 10:15This didn't happen. I'm just Blanche, Yeah, yeah, I understand
- 10:18Maxwell coming up with something in my head and the
- 10:21Cineloa cartel says to Epstein, can you track down my
- 10:24billion dollars that the cartel the other cartel stole from me,
- 10:28and Epstein will go and find that billion dollars and
- 10:30will take a portion of the money that was stolen
- 10:32as a fee and give back the remainder. That would
- 10:35be a percentage basis, Blanche. No, but like what you
- 10:39just described, which I appreciate what you said is hypothetical.
- 10:44That was completely hypothetical, but that would involve, like so,
- 10:49two kinds of drug cartels stealing from each other. Practically speaking,
- 10:53he was more of a businessman, correct, Maxwell. So here's
- 10:56how I think that started. It started. He had a girlfriend.
- 11:00It was always you, always to the girls. I guess
- 11:03there was a girl whose name will come back to me,
- 11:05maybe not whilst we're here, but I don't know. Maybe
- 11:09there's a woman, Blanche. Okay, there's always a woman, and
- 11:13she was the daughter of a billionaire, for instance. And
- 11:15the billionaire whoever his whatever his name was, had some
- 11:19money stolen, and for some reason, this woman introduced Jeffrey,
- 11:23and Jeffrey I think that's how the business started. That's
- 11:25what I remember, Blanche. And is that something he told
- 11:30you about or something that happened while you knew him?
- 11:33Maxwell knows something he told me about before I met him. Blanche,
- 11:37and so when you met him and once you were
- 11:39a part of his life in the early to mid nineties,
- 11:42what's he doing to make money that you see? Does
- 11:45he have clients? Does he have rich clients? Does he
- 11:47have famous clients? And how what if he provides the clients?
- 11:51What service is he providing them? Maxwell? He does well,
- 11:55obviously there's the one very famous client that everybody talks about,
- 11:59which is Les Wexner. That was a very important client
- 12:03to him. And I think it's probably helpful to describe
- 12:06what I imagine what I know to be true about
- 12:09what he managed for less and there are some bits
- 12:12that I'll be improvising, Blanche yep Maxwell, I cuts off
- 12:17by Blanche. Okay, Maxwell, I just want to make you
- 12:20understand I was not part of Epstein's business world, except
- 12:24so what I'm talking about is what I observed or
- 12:26what I overheard or what I saw within the business.
- 12:30But I wasn't responsible for any of the client's money
- 12:32or anything like that. So it's separate. Okay, Yeah, I understand,
- 12:36says Blanche Glenne. Maxwell. Okay, all right, we're gonna cut
- 12:40off right here, and in the next episode we're gonna
- 12:42pick up where we left off. All of the information
- 12:45that goes with this episode can be found in the
- 12:48description box. What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode
- 12:51of the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're picking up
- 12:54where we left off with the Glene Maxwell deposition that
- 12:59was recently really and once again Todd Blanche is asking
- 13:02the questions and Glenn Maxwell is doing the answering. Maxwell,
- 13:09I want you to understand I was not part of
- 13:11Epstein's business world. So what I'm talking about is what
- 13:15I observed or what I overheard or what I saw
- 13:18within the business. But I wasn't responsible for any of
- 13:21the client's money or anything like that, so it's separate.
- 13:24Todd Blanche, Okay, Yeah, I understand. Maxwell. Okay, Blanche, go ahead. Maxwell.
- 13:31So with Less, for instance, it was really all encompassing.
- 13:35It could go from structure of the business, so he
- 13:37would he structured or restructured the limited. I know that,
- 13:41and I'll come back to that because I also travel
- 13:43with him in Less and I was in business meetings
- 13:46with them on the plane when they were there, so
- 13:49I could observe and I could hear some of this.
- 13:52And whilst I'm not necessarily terribly business sophisticated. I'm sophisticated
- 13:57enough to be able to at least have some knowledge
- 13:59of what was happening. All right, So then he restructured
- 14:03the business, he restructured his entire personal finances, and would
- 14:07also handle all of the investment strategy. I don't know
- 14:11if it was if it was one hundred percent, Blanche,
- 14:14mister Wexner, is what you're saying, Maxwell, Sorry, yes, all
- 14:19this all Wexner I'm talking about now. So let's say
- 14:22you had a billion dollars to invest, you would, you know,
- 14:26in people's normal investment portfolios, you would have you know,
- 14:29some T bonds and this and that. But Epstein's strategy
- 14:32would be much more sophisticated than that, Blanche. And so
- 14:37just staying with mister Wexner, does from what you heard
- 14:40or saw, is mister Epstein paid by him in percentages?
- 14:44Like so there would be a deal and he would
- 14:46be paid for or was did you understand is to
- 14:49be like a flat fee? Was he a business partner? Like?
- 14:52How did you understand him to be paid? Well, if
- 14:56the DOJ would have hit Epstein with RICO, we'd have
- 14:58those answers, wouldn't we And you know what's goofy about
- 15:01this whole entire deposition Todd Blanche doesn't even know what
- 15:05he's talking about. He doesn't even know what questions to
- 15:08ask this woman, and it's very apparent. Maxwell. I think
- 15:13it was more a le carte. So let's say this
- 15:16is a conversation. I actually Epstein told me so all
- 15:19illustrated for me. Said if I saved someone five billion,
- 15:23he would take a flat percentage of that five billion.
- 15:26He wouldn't have five billion back, and he would take
- 15:29Blanche cuts her off. When you say you think that
- 15:32is that because you heard him talking about that or Maxwell,
- 15:35it would be a combination of both. He certainly told
- 15:38me that, and I heard him talk to people like that.
- 15:41I couldn't to that she's cut off by Blanche. No, no,
- 15:44go ahead, Maxwell, No Blanche did there was there? Did
- 15:49he give Wexner gift of property in New York to
- 15:53mister Epstein? Maxwell, So we're talking about seventy first Street.
- 15:57So I don't know what the business deal was, because
- 15:59again I'm not a part of his business thing. But
- 16:02I think what happened would be that, let's say that
- 16:04less odum theoretically for his services one hundred million or
- 16:08whatever it was. He could have traded that against the property. Blanche,
- 16:13do you know that happened or are you kind of
- 16:16do you remember whether there was a conversation about that,
- 16:19or are you just thinking that could be one way
- 16:21that it happened. Maxwell, I'm not sure, and I'm not
- 16:25trying to be I just don't remember if that's something
- 16:28I know, or if that's something that I remember, or
- 16:31if it's something that I subsequently know. This whole entire thing, folks,
- 16:35is a big ass jerk off. That's all it is.
- 16:38And the whole point of this ridiculous exercise is to
- 16:41try and give themselves cover. I believe that to be
- 16:45what happened, but I don't want to tell you that.
- 16:48I have to that she's cut off once again by
- 16:50her buddy Todd, Blanche Maxwell. Does that make sense, Blanche,
- 16:54did mister Wexner or mister Epstein? Are you aware of
- 16:59their falling out out that they ultimately had, Maxwell? I
- 17:02think I wasn't there. I don't know how it happened.
- 17:05I only know what Less has said in the press
- 17:07cover story. There was no falling out. That whole entire
- 17:12thing was a cover story. So that Les Wexner had
- 17:14an exit point when all the fucking dominoes started to
- 17:18fall Blanche. So you only know about there. You know,
- 17:22they're falling out or whatever you want to call it,
- 17:25from what you kind of read, not from any first
- 17:27town knowledge you did. You weren't there, You weren't part
- 17:31of that, Maxwell, correct, Blanche? Do you know somebody named
- 17:35Stephen Hoffenberg? Maxwell? Only from the press, Blanche? Okay, So
- 17:40you don't know anything about whatever business relationship they may
- 17:43have had. Mister Epstein cut off once again by Maxwell.
- 17:47Never spoke about him, never mentioned it. I only learned
- 17:50about that, whatever that is, even I don't even know
- 17:53what it is or what the truth of the story is,
- 17:55from the press. And you're gonna notice that throughout this
- 17:57whole entire thing, there's a whole lot of Glenn Maxwell
- 18:01not remembering, and she's not pressed at all by Todd Blanche.
- 18:05And that's because the fix is in Todd Blanche. How
- 18:09about Leon Black Maxwell? Oh, I did meet Leon. I
- 18:12do know Leon, Blanche. When do you remember and again,
- 18:15I know we're talking about a very long time ago,
- 18:18but do you remember approximately when you met him? Maxwell?
- 18:22I could have met Leon, not really, so I might
- 18:25have met him. Nothing to do because Leon Black is
- 18:27a very good friend with other friends of mine. Of
- 18:30course he is. I would have met him. When I
- 18:33say socially, I might have met him. How Leon and
- 18:36Epstein became really good friends, I don't. I'm not sure.
- 18:40What's wild is that Leon Black's son is part of
- 18:43the Trump administration, Blanche. But not through you, as far
- 18:48as you recall, Maxwell, No, not through me, as far
- 18:51as I know. In fact, I'm sure that's not through me, Blanche.
- 18:55Do you know what kind of work mister Epstein was
- 18:57doing for mister Black over the years, Maxwell, sam is
- 19:01what he did for Wexner, Blanche. So we just talked
- 19:04about two individuals. And again, I know we're talking about
- 19:07maybe a fifteen year time period or even longer. How
- 19:11many clients like that did mister Epstein have, Glen? Maxwell?
- 19:15But why I don't I just give you the names
- 19:18that I remember? And that's Blanche? Say it again, Maxwell,
- 19:22Why won't I just give you the names? Blanche? Yeah? Maxwell,
- 19:26so you want the names, Blanche, He's sure, go ahead,
- 19:29Glen Maxwell, Elizabeth Johnson, Johnson and Johnson. And we know
- 19:34that Jeffrey Epstein also purchased a skeichale in veil from
- 19:39the Johnson family. And honestly, it doesn't shock me. The
- 19:43Johnson family has been up to no good for a
- 19:45very long time. Blanche. When did as far as you know,
- 19:51when did the relationship between miss Johnson and mister Epstein start?
- 19:55I don't the nineties, ninety five, ninety six, Blanche. So
- 19:59during the time period Maxwell, yes we're talking nineties, We're
- 20:03talking when I was there, When I was around, Blanche,
- 20:07And how did the relationship start? Maxwell, I don't know
- 20:10how he became friendly and where he ended up managing
- 20:12her money. I wasn't there. I mean, he really had
- 20:16a separate life. We really had separate lives. So what's
- 20:19funny here is you have the administration in people coming
- 20:22out saying, oh, well, Maxwell said nothing happened, and then
- 20:25out of the other side of her mouth, she's saying
- 20:27she wasn't even around, so how does she know what happened?
- 20:31Just like I told you from the very beginning, Glain
- 20:34Maxwell was a manager. Glin Maxwell was not somebody on
- 20:38the inside making deals and whipping work. And just like
- 20:41I predicted, Glan Maxwell is not the Rosetta Stone that
- 20:45everybody thought she was gonna be Blanche. Okay, Maxwell, except
- 20:51where they sinked Blanche. But it wasn't from Maxwell. It
- 20:55wasn't from me. Maxwell, No, it was not Blanche. Okay.
- 20:59And what's your understanding of what mister Epstein did for
- 21:01miss Johnson, Maxwell, same is what he did for Wexner.
- 21:06And when I and you have to understand, it went
- 21:09down in tiny details. So I remember this. I remember
- 21:12this an actual memory. That he would make the contracts
- 21:15for the maids, for the people who worked in their homes, Blanche.
- 21:19So he would assist his clients at times with you're saying,
- 21:23with even small things like contractual relations Maxwell, he said,
- 21:27no detail was too small because everything that affected how
- 21:30they lived and how they managed their life was something
- 21:34that he felt was if they want it, would be
- 21:37responsible for to make sure that the contract so that
- 21:41if you had to fire someone it wouldn't come back
- 21:43to sue you, or if that you sort of Blanche
- 21:46cuts her off. Okay, So mister Black, mister Werner, Wexner,
- 21:51he doesn't even know the names. This is what I'm
- 21:52talking about, Todd. Blanche is a fool. This dude's a
- 21:56patsy that was sent here to try and run cover
- 21:59for the administration. And if you don't want to believe that,
- 22:02that's on you. If you want to buy into the
- 22:04myth that the administration actually cares and they're trying to
- 22:08be transparent, cool, go ahead, but you're gonna be the
- 22:11one who looks stupid later on down the road when
- 22:13the dominoes all fall. Blanche knows someone named Jess Staley. Maxwell, Yes,
- 22:20I do know Jess, Blanche. Who's that Maxwell? He was
- 22:24at Morgan Stanley and at Barclays. Blanche, what do you
- 22:29do whether he and mister Epstein had a relationship Maxwell, Well,
- 22:33not a physical one, Blanche, Well, Marcus, a business one, Blanche.
- 22:37I didn't suggest, Maxwell, Sorry, I just Blanche. No, I'm
- 22:41saying a relationship in the broadest sense of the word
- 22:44business personal. Maxwell yes, Blanche okay? Maxwell, yes to both,
- 22:51Blanche okay. And do you know when they met? Maxwell? No,
- 22:54I don't know when they met, but you can time it. Well,
- 22:57I don't know that you can. No, I don't, no, Blanche.
- 23:02So but what was the nature of their relationship as
- 23:05far as you know, Maxwell, I think they were friends,
- 23:08and I think there were business partners, well, partners too
- 23:11strong of a word, but they were. They did business together, Blanche,
- 23:15So did you again? I want to stay focused on
- 23:18the time where you were the most involved in his life.
- 23:21So Maxwell the nineties, Todd Blanche the early nineties through
- 23:25the early two thousands. Maxwell in the beginning of the
- 23:29two thousands. Yes, Todd, Blanche. So we talked about four people.
- 23:34So Maxwell, there's more, Blanche, there are more, okay, Maxwell? Oh, yes,
- 23:40there were more. There was a lady whose name I
- 23:43can't remember. Can I get my book? Maybe I wrote
- 23:45them down, Blanche. Sure. Maxwell. Epstein wouldn't really let me
- 23:49meet his clients. Blanche, what book are you using? What
- 23:52is that? Maxwell? I wrote some notes for the meeting, Blanche? Okay, great, Okay, Maxwell?
- 23:58Is that alright, Blanche? No, that's I was just curious
- 24:01what you were looking at. Maxwell. Oh, okay, Marcus, not
- 24:05the birthday book, Maxwell, it's not the birthday book. No,
- 24:08we're going to come to that, I'm sure, Blanche. Yeah, Maxwell,
- 24:12all right, I wrote down some names because I tried
- 24:15to make I just want you to understand my memory
- 24:18is not as good as it was because when I
- 24:20was in Brooklyn, I was in the shoe for almost
- 24:22two years, and I was on suicide watch for almost
- 24:25two years, which meant that they woke me up every
- 24:28fifteen minutes for the entire time, and it's really did
- 24:32affect my ability to Blanche cuts her off, understand, Glenn Maxwell, Okay,
- 24:37Oh my god, this is such a joke. How could
- 24:40anybody read this and not be disgusted. It's like a
- 24:44homie sitting down with his friend in the backyard, catching
- 24:47up after a few years being away. Blanche. So you've
- 24:50taken some notes in anticipation, Maxwell, I just made some
- 24:54names in advance for this, Blanche. Yeah, okay, So go ahead, Maxwell,
- 24:58and you're happy to look at them. Well, if you
- 25:00want no, go ahead? Maxwell? Okay, Well, funny you say,
- 25:04first two names. One is Wexner, two is Dalley, three
- 25:07is Leon Black. Blanche, okay, Maxwell, Glen Duben was a client,
- 25:12Todd Blanche, who's that? Bro? Doesn't even know who Glenn
- 25:15Dubin is a guy that was credibly accused of taking
- 25:19part of the abuse. Has no idea who he is, huh, Glenn,
- 25:23Maxwell eva Dubin's husband. Blanche, Okay, what was there? I mean,
- 25:28if you can do you know about that relationship and
- 25:31when it started Maxwell, whenever, Well, wouldn't have been before
- 25:35they got married, for sure. So if you're going to start,
- 25:38you're going to date that from wherever that was. And
- 25:41then Epstein was heavily involved with Highbridge Capital and the
- 25:44financing or selling of Highbridge to JP Morgan. Blanche, Okay,
- 25:48go ahead, Eva Dubin yep Maxwell, Okay, you're only looking
- 25:52for clients. So all right, there's a woman, well he
- 25:55there's a woman in Ohio. I just can't think of
- 25:58her name, but I tried to remember it yesterday and
- 26:01I can't. David Marcus. So this is a good thing,
- 26:05like you know, as you think of things, write it
- 26:07down and if they have any other names, they'll ask you,
- 26:10but you Maxwell cuts her off. Blanche, Yeah, just Marcus,
- 26:14don't force it. So you'll have time to think about this,
- 26:18especially today, this afternoon overnight Klan Maxwell okay, because she
- 26:22hasn't had time to think about this previously, what she
- 26:26been doing in that jail cell, besides complaining Marcus. Because
- 26:29we'll probably meet tomorrow Maxwell, But you can find them,
- 26:33I mean, if you basically find a billionaire female, Blanche,
- 26:37So the woman in Ohio. Who's wealthy that you worked with? Maxwell?
- 26:41And Well, you can identify yourself because she has the
- 26:45largest client painting that was huge. So you can find
- 26:48her because it'll be in a museum. Blanche, Okay, glean, Maxwell,
- 26:53So that's her, Todd Blanche and so he that was
- 26:57one of mister Epstein's clients. Maxwell Well, yes, Blanche, she
- 27:01was one of mister Epstein's clients as well. Maxwell, Yes, Blanche, Okay,
- 27:06who else? Maxwell, Well, I think that there was other
- 27:09people that would like assist. I know that he helped
- 27:13Lynn Forrester, who became Lynn the Rothschild. She'll deny it
- 27:17and she has, but she can't Todd Blanche. And when
- 27:21you say help, the help in business or what help? Maxwell? Well,
- 27:26so I have no idea what he did for I
- 27:28know he helped her financially. Her husband was the controller
- 27:31of New York. So I don't Again, I'm not inside
- 27:35his business. But he would have this notion that he
- 27:40blackmailed men or we don't really have to go there,
- 27:43that he wasn't a businessman and that everything he did
- 27:47was a fraud or a funk or I don't believe
- 27:50that to be true. Blanche why Maxwell, Sorry, Blanche, why
- 27:54do you say that you don't believe it to be true?
- 27:57But show me why you think that Maxwell? Okay, Blanche,
- 28:00just from I know you've been talking about it, that
- 28:03he was very he was very conscientious, he was very
- 28:07good at math. He took paid a lot of attention
- 28:10to his clients. But yes, you're right, there's allegations of
- 28:13blackmail or also that there was some level of fraud
- 28:16involved in what he did, and you don't believe it.
- 28:19Why do you say that, Maxwell, Well, let me rephrase that.
- 28:23If there was fraud, I never saw it. Well, you
- 28:25just told us you weren't part of the business, so
- 28:27why would you see the fraud. The only fraud that
- 28:30I see here is this whole entire fucking process. When
- 28:34I saw or what I felt when his when I
- 28:37ran the office, I mean ran, I didn't. I was
- 28:39responsible for the staff, people worked, there were lawyers, there
- 28:43were accountants. I never heard him, I never felt anything.
- 28:46I don't know, Icky Marcus, did you ever see him
- 28:50blackmail a Maxwell? Never Marcus? A client? Maxwell? No, Marcus.
- 28:56Did you ever see him blackmail a friend or an acquaintance? Maxwell? No, Marcus? Okay,
- 29:02all right, folks, we're gonna wrap up right here and
- 29:05in the next episode we're gonna pick up where we
- 29:07left off with this ridiculous nonsense. All of the information
- 29:11that goes with this episode can be found in the
- 29:13description box. What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode
- 29:17of the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're picking up
- 29:20where we left off with the Glenn Maxwell deposition given
- 29:24to the DOJ. Blanche. Well, so, I think when folks
- 29:29talk about blackmail, and we can talk about sorry about that, Maxwell,
- 29:33we can talk about that now. There are a lot
- 29:36of allegations about him, which well, which we should talk about,
- 29:41and we can do that now. And the fact that
- 29:43he abused young women Maxwell, yes, Blanche, full stop, Okay,
- 29:48which means the way that on the finding abuse, as
- 29:52has been widely reported, is that he would cause young girls,
- 29:56young women in high school to be recruited to come
- 29:59to his house and give them massage, young women, children,
- 30:03bro underage girls, and as part of and as part
- 30:08of that, he would sexually abuse them. Okay, Maxwell, yes, Blanche.
- 30:13So I want to talk about that. But as it
- 30:15relates to blackmail, the question is whether you're aware of
- 30:18any time that any of the individuals we're talking about,
- 30:22and we'll talk about others receive massages from women who
- 30:25are under eighteen or may have been under eighteen, and
- 30:29that whether there was any sexual assaults or sexual contact
- 30:33between any of these people and those messuses, which would
- 30:36have allowed then mister Epstein potentially to blackmail them and
- 30:40say you have to continue to work for me, or
- 30:43you have to give me money, or else I'm going
- 30:45to tell the world what you did. You know, this
- 30:47dumb fuck Todd Blanche has no idea what he's talking
- 30:50about messuses. If a fifteen year old girl from Palm
- 30:54Beach High School is considered a massuse, then I'm considered
- 30:57a fucking cosmonaut. Maxwell, Right, I think this is a
- 31:00really good place to start with how that story began, Blanche, Okay,
- 31:05Maxwell's so even let's assume that that premise is correct,
- 31:09that he was doing that and he was going to
- 31:12tell everybody going to say, oh, you know, you had
- 31:14inappropriate relations with an underage girl if you don't have
- 31:17a video or a photograph, photographic evidence, because I'm not
- 31:21sure that even the FBI would take that, well maybe today,
- 31:25but certainly not back then, would take that seriously, So
- 31:29you have to have something to say, Hey, you know, look,
- 31:31I've got this video of you doing terrible things, and
- 31:34you need to blah blah blah. So I built those houses,
- 31:37many of them. I decorated those houses. I put the
- 31:40electricians in for the wiring. I never wired nor saw
- 31:43a single house that had any type of inappropriate Let's
- 31:46say video surveillance, and they'll define that for you. Inappropriate
- 31:51surveillance would mean in a bathroom, in a bedroom, in
- 31:54any private area of a home. So Glenne, Maxwell's telling
- 31:57the truth and everybody else is lying. Huh Okay, I
- 32:00guess Todd Blanche in a room where there were massages
- 32:04given Maxwell. Inappropriate, I would say, I would define an
- 32:08appropriate surveillance would be the front door of the house,
- 32:11or potentially in seventy first Street, the physical plant. Anywhere
- 32:15else would be grotesque, Blanche. So I just want to
- 32:18come back to I know I'm just hopefully stating the obvious.
- 32:21But when you say the house is you're talking about
- 32:24New York Maxwell, yes, the Brownstone, Yes, you're talking about
- 32:28the island in the Caribbean. Maxwell, Yes, you're talking about
- 32:32the residence in Palm Beach. Maxwell, Yes, Todd Blanche, and
- 32:37you're talking about the ranch in New Mexico. Maxwell, Yes,
- 32:40Todd Blanche anywhere else Maxwell, Paris, Blanche, and in Paris.
- 32:45And so Maxwell cuts them off. And the plane. I
- 32:48saw some ridiculous thing with the plane, Blanche and the plane. Okay, Maxwell,
- 32:54that's what we're doing. Yes, I didn't, Blanche. So Maxwell
- 32:59cuts them off and hire any electrician on the plane. Okay, Blanche,
- 33:02though unequivocally, unequivocally from what you know, and you only
- 33:06know what you know, Maxwell, I only know what I know, Blanche.
- 33:10But from what you know, you do not believe a
- 33:12camera exists, or a video camera or a camera that
- 33:15takes pictures inside any of his residences. Maxwell, correct, This
- 33:19whole entire thing's a joke, and I almost don't even
- 33:22want to go through it. Honestly, she's trying to rewrite
- 33:26the story, and this boob Todd Blanche is actually letting
- 33:29her get away with it. Then again, that's the whole
- 33:32point of this whole entire thing, right, give them a
- 33:35cover story and make a look like this thing is
- 33:38over and done with Blanche. So even the appropriate cameras
- 33:42that you just talked about, which would be kind of
- 33:44exterior security cameras. Did you know whether there was any
- 33:47camera that you're aware of inside of that location? Maxwell? Never,
- 33:51with one exception, Blanche, Okay, what's the exception? Maxwell? The
- 33:56exception is pom Beach. Blanche, Okay, Maxwell, and the so on.
- 34:00Pom Beach. Epstein was having money stolen. He noticed money
- 34:04was being stolen from his briefcase, call it his briefcase,
- 34:07and he called in the pom Beach Police and they,
- 34:09the pom Beach Police, installed cameras on where he kept
- 34:13his briefcase. Blanche, where was that? Do you remember? Maxwell?
- 34:17At his desk in the house on the ground floor,
- 34:20he had a desk sort of in the corner. There
- 34:22was that camera. I think there was another camera. I
- 34:25think there were two or maybe three cameras, I believe
- 34:28only on the ground floor wherever he may have had
- 34:31maybe he had another office in the cabana, there may
- 34:34have been a camera there, Blanche. When was this? I'm
- 34:37not looking for exact dates, but the time period are
- 34:40you talking about when you say this, Maxwell, two thousand
- 34:43and three, I think I can date it for you precisely. Actually,
- 34:47two thousand and three, I'm pretty firm on that date, Blanche.
- 34:50So Maxwell interrupts him, and I can be firm because
- 34:55John Alessi, the butler, was fired in the end of
- 34:57two thousand and two and he was the thief. Blanche. So,
- 35:01aside from law enforcement installing a camera to try to
- 35:04catch somebody stealing money from mister Epstein, you're not aware
- 35:07of any cameras at the island. No, sorry, you're just
- 35:10so we record it because Maxwell. Sorry, sorry, sorry, Blanche. No,
- 35:15that's okay, you are not in your head. No, so
- 35:18what about Maxwell interrupts. No cameras anywhere outside of possibly
- 35:22things that would I would consider myself, I would consider normal.
- 35:26So the garage, Gay, it's something like that, a front door, Blanche,
- 35:30outside like security cameras, Maxwell, security cameras. Well. I can
- 35:34tell you for a fact that Zoro Ranch had cameras
- 35:37everywhere on the outside. When I went to Zoro Ranch
- 35:41in twenty twenty, they had more cameras on this property
- 35:45than Red China has. In the workplace, everywhere you looked
- 35:49there was a camera. And according to people that worked
- 35:52on the property, people who went to the property, the
- 35:54whole entire place was wired up. So here's what it
- 35:57comes down to. Do you believe Glenn Maxwell or do
- 36:01you believe the victims of Jeffrey Epstein. That's really what
- 36:03it comes down to. And I think that's a litmus
- 36:05test because if you believe anything this woman saying, I
- 36:09would guess that you're suffering from CTE because there's no
- 36:13other explanation. Maxwell. And there were cameras inside the seventy
- 36:17first Street that did the plant, the physical plant, because
- 36:21it was a commercial building, so you had the whole
- 36:24that's a real thing there. It's a commercial building. And
- 36:26there were there was one camera on the front door
- 36:29internal from the internal that did the front door, as
- 36:32I recall, but there were no other cameras inside the house. Blanche.
- 36:36Did you ever, how about photographs? Did you ever observe
- 36:39mister Epstein or anybody around them take pictures of anybody
- 36:43in compromising positions with women or with or with anybody,
- 36:47Clenn Maxwell, no Blanche. Did you ever hear when you
- 36:51were present four conversations that mister Epstein was having or
- 36:54others were having, anybody accused them of blackmailing them or
- 36:58trying to extort them because of something mister Epstein knew, Maxwell,
- 37:02no Blanche, There have been and you you in the
- 37:06discovery you got in the New York case, okay, Maxwell, Yes,
- 37:10And in the civil cases that you've been part of,
- 37:12Maxwell Yes, associated with mister Epstein, have you ever been
- 37:16given or ever given or told that video exists like
- 37:20what we're talking about or photos were taken that were compromising,
- 37:24Glenn Maxwell, In both of those, I never received no
- 37:27pictures or anything from a civil case, Blanche, uh huh. Maxwell.
- 37:32But in the criminal case, I received videos of Epstein
- 37:34talking to women and stuff like that. I did get those.
- 37:38I also saw binders photographs of women, and I never
- 37:42saw any well, I don't know. I don't know how
- 37:44old some of those women were. There were definitely some
- 37:47of the victims from Palm Beach, the photographs of them
- 37:50without clothing, Blanche, And in that in those photographs were
- 37:55the victims that were photographed? Were there any of the
- 37:57people you've talked about, like, were the men with the
- 38:00victims or were they just photographs of the victims? Maxwell,
- 38:04There was no men with these pictures. There was no
- 38:06client of his with those pictures. They would be standalone,
- 38:10for want of a better word, like modeling shots. If
- 38:14you were, I don't know Marcus pictures with Epstein had
- 38:17with girls, but not Epstein with the clients and the girls. Maxwell, correct, Blanche,
- 38:23did you I understand you said you got those in Discovery.
- 38:26Did you know those pictures, pictures like that existed? So
- 38:30right now talking about photographs of victims or photographs of
- 38:33women that mister Epstein had it on his computer or
- 38:37wherever he had them, did you know that those photos
- 38:39existed before you got them in Discovery? Maxwell? Some of them, absolutely,
- 38:44because they were in his house. Some of these pictures
- 38:47were on his you know, Credenza or whatever. Blanche, Okay, Maxwell,
- 38:51some pictures I've simply never seen before. I mean there
- 38:54was I had never seen some of them. Some of
- 38:57them I had, some of them I hadn't. I mean, Blanche,
- 39:00did you? So you're right, and I accept that having
- 39:03video or photographs of somebody famous or powerful in a
- 39:06compromising position would be good blackmail, but so separate putting
- 39:11aside what you've said about the fact that you don't
- 39:13know of any existence of those. Did you observe over
- 39:17the years the folks were talking about or others which
- 39:21we can talk about getting massages from young women, Glenn Maxwell,
- 39:25I just I think it's really helpful to understand a
- 39:28few things that has been missed in this whole michigus,
- 39:31whatever the fuck that means. So what she's trying to
- 39:35do here is she's trying to smooth it over, and
- 39:37Blanche is letting her do it. If you haven't noticed yet,
- 39:40Marcus and Maxwell are the ones running the debt position. Marcus,
- 39:45that's the technical term, Blanche, I'll look it up later.
- 39:48Go ahead. Maxwell. I've thought about this obviously a lot,
- 39:53and I've given it, Blanche yep some this benefit benefit
- 39:57of what I saw and some benefit of what now
- 39:59I think. So, just for clarity's sake, I just want
- 40:03to say for the record that I do believe Epstein
- 40:05did a lot, not all, but some of what he's
- 40:08accused of, and I'm not here to defend him in
- 40:10any respect whatsoever. Well, that's exactly what you're doing. I
- 40:14don't want to, and I don't think he requires or
- 40:17deserves any type of protection from me in any way
- 40:21to sugarcoat what he did or didn't do. So there's that. However,
- 40:25the man I met and the man he became, I
- 40:27believe that there is a lot of progression, and I
- 40:29don't think that the man I met is the man
- 40:31that he became. I believe he became that man over
- 40:34a period of time. Now we can discuss anything you want,
- 40:38and I'll tell you everything I know. But I think
- 40:40somebody who has an interest, however you define that in
- 40:44underage people, is obviously someone who is unwell. But I
- 40:48don't think that you wake up one day and you
- 40:50start doing what he's accused of. I think this is
- 40:53something that you develop or you progress to. I think
- 40:56that because Marcus Golaine. Before you go into all that,
- 41:00let's answer the top line question and get into that Maxwell. Okay,
- 41:04the top line question is did you ever see any
- 41:06of these people with underage women? And what David Marcus
- 41:10is doing here is redirecting her, so he gets to
- 41:13the point that he's trying to make run cover for
- 41:16the administration, run cover for the DOJ, and justify their
- 41:21decision to talk to Maxwell. But this is going to
- 41:24blow up in their face because the thing she's saying
- 41:26in this transcript, a lot of them are verifiably untrue.
- 41:31The problem is the people that are doing the deposition
- 41:34have zero idea what they're talking about. They don't even
- 41:37know the basic story, so that they don't know where
- 41:39to dig, they don't know where to push, they don't
- 41:41know where to pull. What they're doing is letting Glenn
- 41:44Maxwell just spit a bunch of bullshit. No. So the
- 41:49reason I'm saying that is not not to avoid that question,
- 41:52but it's because by the time when you are talking
- 41:55in the nineties, I don't think he was there. There's
- 41:59that description, and I think that this what you're talking
- 42:02about is a later version Blanche. Yeah, and Maxwell does that?
- 42:06Is that? Blanche? No, I understand that, and I do
- 42:09want to talk about that. Maxwell. So it's just I
- 42:13think you need to separate the periods of time, Blanche. Sure, Maxwell,
- 42:17because one of the things that was definitely missing in
- 42:21my trial and definitely missing from the narrative is this
- 42:24notion that everything happened and he was always But no,
- 42:28I don't believe that to be true. Oh yeah, he
- 42:31was just you know, a normal guy, right, and he
- 42:34just became sick and twisted. Stop the cat. Maxwell. We
- 42:38all know what you did to Virginia. We all know
- 42:41what you did to Maria Farmer, and we all know
- 42:43what you did to Annie. We all know what you
- 42:44did to Carolyn, shut your fucking mouth, and anybody out
- 42:48here carrying water for Glenn Maxwell, come get that smoke.
- 42:52I'm not hard to find, Blanche. So I mean that
- 42:55that that's fine, and I do want to talk about that.
- 42:58I'm not pushing that away. I'm just putting out aside
- 43:01for the moment what mister Epstein did, and frankly, what
- 43:05you did or are accused of doing, is one thing
- 43:08that I that will talk about. But right now, what
- 43:11I want to understand is whether one of the ways
- 43:14that mister Epstein befriended his clients or took care of them,
- 43:17or some would say blackmail them, was by encouraging them
- 43:21to have interactions with women under age or not that
- 43:26you're accused of She is a convicted child molester, mister Blanche,
- 43:29What the fuck are you even talking about right now?
- 43:32So I think in the nineties he may have encouraged them,
- 43:35but these were people who were in their twenties or thirties, Blanche.
- 43:38So I understand that Maxwell may have. He would have messuses, right,
- 43:43and he did male and female by the way, in
- 43:45the nineties that have never been discussed, both in yoga
- 43:49and everything. There was men as well as women. Yeah,
- 43:51you mean like gypsy Agita, the massage therapist that led
- 43:55Chante Davies into the belly of the beast, That's what
- 43:58you mean. And so if he would travel and I
- 44:01can show them to you. I highlighted them on the
- 44:03flight record so you could see that there really were
- 44:05men that were also there. He would say, like do
- 44:09yoga with Tito, or would be like a massage with
- 44:12this one, but they would be in their late twenties
- 44:15and professional messuss Blanche So, Maxwell, So, I think there's
- 44:19a distinction, Blanche, and I want to talk about actual
- 44:22individuals here, but I understand the distinction between somebody who's
- 44:25an adult and someone who's underage. But even with somebody
- 44:29who's an adult, did you know mister Epstein to encourage
- 44:31folks to do that, whether it's a client or somebody else, Maxwell, So,
- 44:37I certainly witnessed them. So if what you're saying with
- 44:40him and you had a massage, he would often travel
- 44:43with a massuse. He would say, hey, would you like
- 44:45a massage? And he did do that, yes, Blanche, But
- 44:48would you or him or anybody else follow up with
- 44:51the messus afterwards to find out if there was any
- 44:54inappropriate sexual contact. Maxwell, I never did know, Blanche. And
- 45:00then coming back to the black mail issue, Maxwell, Yeah, Blanche,
- 45:04there's nothing wrong with getting a massage, of course, not
- 45:07especially you know, especially if somebody is obviously an adult
- 45:10a massuse. I'm not quiddling with that. But my question
- 45:14is that there's a lot of accusations that one way
- 45:17mister Maxwell, mister Maxwell, I'm sorry, mister Epstein was successful
- 45:22was through this idea of blackmail. Maxwell. I never Blanche
- 45:26interrupts her, And yes, young women is a crime. Children
- 45:30are a crime, Maxwell, Absolutely, Blanche, But even women over
- 45:35the age of eighteen. If mister Epstein encouraged these men
- 45:38or women to get massages and have inappropriate sexual contact
- 45:42with the massuse, that's a separate issue, maybe slightly nuanced.
- 45:45But did you ever know him to do that? Maxwell? No,
- 45:49I never did, absolutely myself. I never heard him ask someone.
- 45:52I never heard that. I never no one in the
- 45:55entire time I was with him, or friends with them,
- 45:58or had anyone. No one ever reported to me or
- 46:01it came to me and said that anything inappropriate happened
- 46:04or was upset by. I never saw a tear, I
- 46:07never saw any of that. Blanche. And when you say
- 46:11no one reported to me, meaning the messuses Maxwell never,
- 46:15Blanche or anyone at the house staff, Maxwell never Marcus,
- 46:20or the clients Blanche or the clients themselves, Maxwell never.
- 46:25All right, we're gonna wrap up right here, and in

- 46:29we left off. All of the information that goes with
