Welcome to Kid Cast Daily, where we bring news, trivia, fun
• 0:04
facts, and more just for curious kids like you.
• 0:07
Today, buckle your seatbelts because we're zooming into the
• 0:10
world of super fast, super cool cars.
• 0:13
Get ready to explore the exciting rivalry between two
• 0:16
famous car companies, Ferrari and Lamborghini.
• 0:19
It's like the ultimate race between two superheroes of the
• 0:22
car world. Who will you root for first?
• 0:25
Let's imagine you're at a giant toy store.
• 0:27
On one shelf you see a bright red race car with a Prancing
• 0:31
  Horse logo. That's Ferrari.
• 0:33
On another shelf there's a fierce looking car with a
• 0:36
  Charging Bull logo. That's Lamborghini.
• 0:38
Both cars look awesome, but they each have their own special
• 0:42
styles and stories. Let's find out what makes them
• 0:44
different and why they're both legends on the road and the
• 0:47
racetrack. Let's start our engines with
• 0:50
Ferrari. Ferrari was born in Italy way
• 0:52
back in 1947. It was started by a man named
• 0:56
Enzo Ferrari, who absolutely loved racing.
• 0:59
He wanted to build the fastest, coolest cars ever, so he started
• 1:03
making cars that could zoom around corners and win big
• 1:06
races. That's why you'll see Ferraris
• 1:08
and lots of racing competitions, like the famous Formula One.
• 1:12
If you're thinking of Ferrari, think of a cheetah.
• 1:14
Sleek, fast, and always ready to race.
• 1:17
Ferrari cars are known for their bright red color, which they
• 1:21
call Rosso Corsa, or racing red. It's like their superhero Cape.
• 1:25
Most Ferraris have a badge with a Black Horse rearing up called
• 1:29
the Prancing Horse. That's their super powered logo.
• 1:32
Did you know that the Prancing Horse was once a symbol on an
• 1:35
airplane flown by a famous World War One pilot?
• 1:38
Enzo Ferrari got special permission to use it and now
• 1:41
it's one of the most famous car logos in the world.
• 1:44
Now let's take a look at Lamborghini.
• 1:46
Lamborghini is also from Italy and it started in 1963.
• 1:51
  The founder was Ferruccio Lamborghini.
• 1:53
Here's a fun fact. Before he made cars, Peruccio
• 1:57
built tractors for farms. But he loved fast cars too.
• 2:01
One day, he decided he could make sports cars that were just
• 2:04
as good or even better than Ferraris.
• 2:07
And that's how Lamborghini was born.
• 2:09
If Ferrari is the cheetah of the car world, Lamborghini is the
• 2:12
bull. Strong, bold, and ready to
• 2:15
charge ahead, Lamborghini cars are famous for their wild,
• 2:18
unique designs. Imagine a car that looks like a
• 2:21
spaceship, with sharp angles and doors that open upwards like
• 2:25
wings, That's a Lamborghini. Their logo is a golden bull,
• 2:29
which stands for Power and Determination.
• 2:32
Did you know Ferruccio chose the bull because he was born under
• 2:35
the Zodiac sign Taurus, which is the bull?
• 2:38
Plus, many Lamborghini car models are named after famous
• 2:41
fighting bulls. So what's the difference between
• 2:44
Ferrari and Lamborghini? Let's compare them like 2 teams
• 2:47
in a soccer game. Ferrari is all about racing.
• 2:51
Their cars are built to be as fast as possible on the track,
• 2:54
with smooth curves and aerodynamic shapes.
• 2:56
They want to win trophies and set records.
• 2:59
Lamborghini, on the other hand, wants to stand out.
• 3:03
Their cars are like art on wheels.
• 3:05
Flashy, daring and super cool to look at.
• 3:08
Lamborghini cars are often louder, Wilder and turn heads
• 3:12
wherever they go. Imagine you're at school and
• 3:15
there's a race between 2 classmates. 1 is super focused,
• 3:18
always practicing and wants to be the fastest runner, just like
• 3:22
Ferrari. The other loves to make a grand
• 3:24
entrance, wears the coolest sneakers, and does a victory
• 3:28
dance at the finish line, just like Lamborghini.
• 3:31
Both are awesome, but they have different styles.
• 3:34
Let's talk about speed, because that's what supercars are all
• 3:37
about. Some Ferraris can go faster than
• 3:39
  210 mph. That's faster than a cheetah, a
• 3:43
train, or even the fastest roller coaster.
• 3:46
Lamborghini isn't far behind. Their cars can also reach
• 3:49
incredible speeds, and they're famous for their powerful
• 3:52
engines that roar like a lion. In fact, some Lamborghini models
• 3:56
can go from zero to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds.
• 4:00
That's about as fast as you can say Lamborghini.
• 4:03
Here's a did you know moment. Both Ferrari and Lamborghini use
• 4:07
special materials like carbon fiber to make their cars super
• 4:10
light and strong. It's like building a bike out of
• 4:13
feathers and steel so it's easy to ride but won't brake.
• 4:16
This helps the cars go faster and handle better on twisty
• 4:19
roads. Now let's peek inside these
• 4:21
cars. The inside of a Ferrari is
• 4:24
  usually designed for serious driving.
• 4:26
Everything is focused on helping the driver go as fast as
• 4:29
possible with buttons and switches like in a jet cockpit.
• 4:33
Lamborghini interiors are often wild and creative, with bright
• 4:37
colors, cool shapes, and even fancy buttons that look like
• 4:40
they belong in a spaceship. Sitting in one feels like you're
• 4:43
the pilot of a super fast rocket.
• 4:45
Who drives these amazing cars? Well, you might see famous race
• 4:49
car drivers driving Ferraris in big competitions.
• 4:52
Movie stars, athletes and musicians love both Ferrari and
• 4:56
Lamborghini too. Sometimes you might even spot a
• 4:59
supercar on the street, but they're pretty rare, kind of
• 5:03
like spotting a Unicorn. Let's talk about how much these
• 5:06
cars cost. Ferrari and Lamborghini cars are
• 5:08
very expensive, sometimes costing more than a fancy house.
• 5:12
That's because they're made by hand, with a lot of care and
• 5:15
special parts. It can take months to build just
• 5:18
one car. Imagine building a super
• 5:20
complicated Lego set, but instead of plastic bricks,
• 5:24
you're using real metal engines and computers.
• 5:27
Here's another fun fact, both Ferrari and Lamborghini have
• 5:30
their own museums in Italy. You can visit and see all the
• 5:34
different models, learn about their history and even sit in a
• 5:37
supercar simulator. It's like a theme park for car
• 5:40
fans. Ferrari and Lamborghini are also
• 5:43
famous for their rivalry. It's like 2 teams in a friendly
• 5:46
competition, always trying to outdo each other with new
• 5:49
designs, faster cars and cooler features.
• 5:52
Sometimes they even surprise each other.
• 5:55
For example, when Lamborghini made the Mira one of the first
• 5:58
super fast Rd. cars, Ferrari had to come up with something even
• 6:02
better. And when Ferrari built the Enzo,
• 6:05
Lamborghini answered with the wild looking Aventador.
• 6:08
It's a never ending game of anything you can do, I can do
• 6:11
  better. But here's something important.
• 6:13
Even though Ferrari and Lamborghini compete, they both
• 6:16
share a love for speed, design and making People say wow when
• 6:20
they see their cars. They inspire each other to be
• 6:23
better, just like friends who challenge each other in games or
• 6:26
sports. Let's do a quick quiz.
• 6:29
Which car company uses a Prancing Horse as their logo?
• 6:32
That's right, Ferrari. And which company uses a
• 6:35
charging bull? You got it, Lamborghini.
• 6:38
Which one started making tractors first?
• 6:40
Lamborghini. And which one is famous for
• 6:43
  racing in Formula One? Ferrari.
• 6:45
Now you might be wondering which car is better?
• 6:48
Well, that's up to you. Some people love Ferrari for its
• 6:52
  racing history and smooth designs.
• 6:54
Others love Lamborghini for its wild looks and bold attitude.
• 6:58
It's like choosing your favorite superhero.
• 7:00
There's no wrong answer. Both are amazing in their own
• 7:03
ways. Before we finish, here are a few
• 7:06
more. Did you know moments to impress
• 7:08
your friends? Did you know that in some
• 7:10
Lamborghini cars, the doors open upwards and they're called
• 7:13
scissor doors? It's like opening the wings of a
• 7:15
bird. Or that Ferrari once made a car
• 7:18
called the LA Ferrari, which uses both a gasoline engine and
• 7:21
an electric motor, just like a hybrid bike.
• 7:24
And did you know that both companies have made cars for
• 7:27
video games and movies, so you might have already driven one in
• 7:30
your favorite game? Let's recap what we learned
• 7:32
today. Ferrari and Lamborghini are two
• 7:35
  super famous Italian car companies.
• 7:37
Ferrari is all about racing and speed, with a Prancing Horse
• 7:41
logo and a love for the color red.
• 7:43
Lamborghini is about boldness and style, with a charging bull
• 7:47
logo and wild spaceship like designs.
• 7:50
Both companies make some of the fastest, coolest cars in the
• 7:53
world, and they've been friendly rivals for decades.
• 7:56
Whether you like the cheetah like Ferrari or the bull like
• 7:59
Lamborghini, both are champions of the road.
