- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Up until recently, very few people were talking
- 0:08Speaker 1: about Jeffrey Epstein and South America. But as of late,
- 0:13Speaker 1: the conversation has picked up some steam and we're starting
- 0:16Speaker 1: to learn a little bit more about what Epstein and
- 0:19Speaker 1: his operation were up to down in South America. And
- 0:23Speaker 1: I know we've talked about Peru, We've talked about Colombia,
- 0:26Speaker 1: and we most certainly have talked about Brazil. But one
- 0:29Speaker 1: place that we haven't talked about too much is Venezuela
- 0:32Speaker 1: and how Jeffrey Epstein made inroads in Venezuela with the
- 0:36Speaker 1: most powerful people in the whole country. And this is
- 0:39Speaker 1: going to build on what we've been talking about down
- 0:41Speaker 1: in South America and hopefully give us a little more context.
- 0:45Speaker 1: So let's dive into this article from the Miami Herald
- 0:48Speaker 1: and let's see what they have for us. Headline Oil
- 0:52Speaker 1: in Venezuela, research in Cuba inside Epstein's ties to Latin America.
- 0:58Speaker 1: This article was authored by Shersha Dasgupta, disgrace financier and
- 1:04Speaker 1: registered sex offender. Jeffrey Epstein had numerous relationships with a
- 1:09Speaker 1: rich and powerful across South America and the Caribbean, a
- 1:13Speaker 1: Miami Herald investigation has found. And when we're talking about
- 1:17Speaker 1: a story like this, it's not about what you know,
- 1:20Speaker 1: it's about what you can prove. And we knew previously
- 1:23Speaker 1: that Epstein was running around South America treating the whole
- 1:25Speaker 1: continent like his own Bach and all room, but we
- 1:29Speaker 1: didn't have the receipts to back it up. Well, those
- 1:32Speaker 1: receipts are starting to pour in. And the people who
- 1:35Speaker 1: tried to tell you that Jeffrey Epstein was a lone wolf,
- 1:38Speaker 1: they're looking stupider by the day. When Venezuelan's strong men
- 1:43Speaker 1: Hugo Schabez nationalized reports at Porto Cabello in two thousand
- 1:48Speaker 1: and nine, Epstein advised the chief executive of the Dubai
- 1:52Speaker 1: multinational that had operated it on how to navigate the situation. Yeah,
- 1:57Speaker 1: you know, his buddies over the Middle East, the ones
- 2:00Speaker 1: that he was so fond of and the ones that
- 2:02Speaker 1: were so fond of him, Yeah, those guys. Epstein also
- 2:05Speaker 1: discussed business ventures with Francisco di Agostino, an influential Venezuelan
- 2:10Speaker 1: businessman who has relationships with both the Nicholas Maduro regime
- 2:15Speaker 1: and the country's opposition. Di Agostino was under US sanction
- 2:19Speaker 1: from twenty twenty one to twenty twenty five for brokering
- 2:22Speaker 1: oil deals for the country Stay controlled energy company, and
- 2:26Speaker 1: it just so happens that he is no longer sanctioned
- 2:29Speaker 1: once Trump gets into office. Huh has Trump ever met
- 2:33Speaker 1: a scumbag that he doesn't like? I mean, real question.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Epstein and di Agostino also often discussed sexual exploits and
- 2:41Speaker 1: exchange derogatory comments about women. Emails between them show. For instance,
- 2:46Speaker 1: in an email correspondence in October twenty twelve, they described
- 2:51Speaker 1: a woman as a financial bond that they could trade
- 2:54Speaker 1: and split the commission. That was typical. That's what they
- 2:58Speaker 1: think about people. That's what they think about you. You're
- 3:01Speaker 1: a commodity, your chattel. You're worth nothing to them. And
- 3:05Speaker 1: the funniest part is all these pundits that have taken
- 3:08Speaker 1: up their cause trying to call this a hoax, et cetera.
- 3:11Speaker 1: They mean nothing to them either. They're disposable and interchangeable.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Everything is transactional for Trump, just like it was for Epstein.
- 3:21Speaker 1: And the truth is, once you get to this level,
- 3:24Speaker 1: everything is transactional for you. It's not like how you
- 3:28Speaker 1: or I live. You don't do things out of the
- 3:30Speaker 1: kindness of your heart. You don't, you know, help people
- 3:33Speaker 1: out because you can. Once you get to a position
- 3:37Speaker 1: like Jeffrey Epstein or Donald Trump, it's all about, Okay,
- 3:40Speaker 1: if I do this for you, what can you do
- 3:42Speaker 1: for me? And that's why power continues to insulate power
- 3:46Speaker 1: in another missive. A few months later, di Agastino told Epstein,
- 3:50Speaker 1: or asked Epstein about a young woman that he had
- 3:52Speaker 1: met on the financiers private island the previous year. Epstein
- 3:57Speaker 1: replied that she was here and naked, and speaking of that,
- 4:02Speaker 1: not to go too off course here, but didn't just
- 4:05Speaker 1: Staley admit to sleeping with one of Epstein's assistants, and
- 4:09Speaker 1: I know he said it was consensual. But if one
- 4:11Speaker 1: of those assistants was also being abused, as they claim,
- 4:15Speaker 1: wouldn't that mean that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked a woman to
- 4:18Speaker 1: Jess Staley? And wouldn't that blow the claims that Epstein
- 4:21Speaker 1: never trafficked anybody to anybody right out of the water.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Oh it does, doesn't it? Like I've been telling all
- 4:27Speaker 1: these tourists from the very beginning, you're not wanted here,
- 4:31Speaker 1: Kick Rocks. Head back to whatever stupid topic you were
- 4:33Speaker 1: talking about before this became quote unquote popular, and let
- 4:38Speaker 1: the adults continue the discussion, because there's way too many
- 4:41Speaker 1: people who think they know who don't know. The Herald's
- 4:48Speaker 1: reportings based on the millions of pages or records released
- 4:51Speaker 1: earlier this year by the US Justice Department. The findings
- 4:55Speaker 1: highlight how the financier was constantly cultivating relationships with inflo
- 5:00Speaker 1: dential figures and using them to add to his fortunes. Well,
- 5:04Speaker 1: I thought he was a lone wolf, just a regular guy,
- 5:07Speaker 1: you know, who had a couple of disgusting proclivities, who
- 5:11Speaker 1: wanted to pray on young girls. Oh what, he was
- 5:15Speaker 1: something besides that, and that was just a perk of
- 5:17Speaker 1: the job for him. Oh that's why the government protected him.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I get it. Okay, So they let Jeffrey Epstein do
- 5:24Speaker 1: what he wanted, just like they let Whitey Bulger kill
- 5:26Speaker 1: whoever he wanted, as long as the means justified the ends. Folks.
- 5:33Speaker 1: That's it. In a nutshell, this is not that confusing.
- 5:36Speaker 1: This is not some great mystery. Jeffrey Epstein was created
- 5:40Speaker 1: by the US government and then protected by the US
- 5:43Speaker 1: government for years. That's it. That's the story. Die Gastino
- 5:49Speaker 1: was introduced to Epstein by hedge fund manager Todd Measter
- 5:53Speaker 1: in twenty twelve. Measter pitched Epstein on a project to acquire, develop,
- 5:58Speaker 1: and operate up to one thousand in mega watts's solar
- 6:01Speaker 1: energy plants in the Atacama Desert in Chile. An investment
- 6:05Speaker 1: deck stated that upon completion, the venture projected revenue exceeding
- 6:09Speaker 1: thirty million within a decade. How much do you want
- 6:12Speaker 1: to bet that whatever that project was didn't benefit the
- 6:16Speaker 1: people from Chile. Oh, I'm sure I benefited Epstein and
- 6:19Speaker 1: his buddies, but certainly not the Chileans. Measter told The
- 6:23Speaker 1: Herald that the venture did not come to fruition that
- 6:26Speaker 1: he never had any business relationship with Epstein. He described
- 6:30Speaker 1: the investment deck as a preliminary document that he had
- 6:33Speaker 1: sent Epstein because the financier seemed to look at emerging
- 6:36Speaker 1: markets and opportunities that were not mainstream. Sorry, mister Mester,
- 6:41Speaker 1: we don't buy it. Everybody wants to act like they
- 6:44Speaker 1: had no idea. You had all the ideas in the world.
- 6:47Speaker 1: You didn't care, and the only reason you care now
- 6:50Speaker 1: is because you're getting called out, and then of course
- 6:52Speaker 1: we get the BS statement right, hardly knew the guy,
- 6:55Speaker 1: never met him. Epstein's footprint in the Caribbean, The Herald
- 6:59Speaker 1: found extended beyond Little Saint James's private island, where he
- 7:03Speaker 1: allegedly raped and sexually assaulted countless women and girls. Not allegedly,
- 7:08Speaker 1: it definitely happened. Now, if you want to talk about
- 7:11Speaker 1: how many people were abused and just how vast and
- 7:14Speaker 1: for how long the abuse went on, then that's certainly
- 7:18Speaker 1: a discussion. But to act like it was alleged, like
- 7:22Speaker 1: nobody ever was assaulted on that island, that is ridiculous.
- 7:27Speaker 1: In two thousand and three, he traveled to Cuba and
- 7:30Speaker 1: met the late Fidel Castro, and in twenty seventeen, Epstein
- 7:34Speaker 1: helped fund to State back neuroscience conference in Havana. Well,
- 7:38Speaker 1: communists have no problem with a guy like Epstein, just
- 7:41Speaker 1: like capitalists don't. Folks, don't you get it yet, It
- 7:44Speaker 1: doesn't matter what people say they are when it comes
- 7:47Speaker 1: to powerful people, they're gonna do what powerful people do,
- 7:51Speaker 1: and none of that shit includes you. So the next
- 7:54Speaker 1: time you want to fight with somebody over one of
- 7:56Speaker 1: these dumbass politicians. Just remember what they were saying about
- 7:59Speaker 1: you in these emails. A conference in Havana In March
- 8:06Speaker 1: two thousand and three, he traveled to the island nation
- 8:09Speaker 1: with his accomplice and former partner Glenn Maxwell and the
- 8:12Speaker 1: former President of Colombia Andres Pastrana Arongo. We met Fidel Castro.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Maxwell told the Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche in an
- 8:22Speaker 1: interview last year, Well, isn't that guy Hassan Piker, the
- 8:27Speaker 1: streamer dude in trouble for going to Cuba? Should Maxwell
- 8:31Speaker 1: getting out for the same thing? Was her trip approved?
- 8:34Speaker 1: And if so, who approved it? And why? Boy? It's
- 8:38Speaker 1: a tangle web wee weave, isn't it. The Herald did
- 8:42Speaker 1: not find any evidence of Epstein discussing anything related to
- 8:45Speaker 1: politics or business with the Cuban strongman. How would you
- 8:48Speaker 1: know what? Somebody's going to come forward and be like, hey,
- 8:51Speaker 1: Epstein was talking about X, Y and Z. No, that's
- 8:54Speaker 1: not how it works. Roughly fifteen years after that trip,
- 8:58Speaker 1: Epstein's long held of financing a giant conference in Havana
- 9:02Speaker 1: came true. He provided funds for the New Psycho Congress,
- 9:07Speaker 1: a Cuban state backed international neuroscience conference in Havana in
- 9:12Speaker 1: November of twenty seventeen. Epstein got involved via Hong Kong
- 9:16Speaker 1: researcher Gino Yu, whose work into conscientiousness and special abilities
- 9:21Speaker 1: he was already financing. What is this, little boys? Epstein
- 9:25Speaker 1: and his buddies are trying to make a Homelander type
- 9:27Speaker 1: of character. Would that really shock you? It wouldn't shock me.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Nothing shocks me when it comes to the depravity of
- 9:33Speaker 1: these disgusting people. But the financier Pedophile was unhappy with
- 9:39Speaker 1: the results and complained that he was not getting proper
- 9:42Speaker 1: reports and considered the endeavor a waste of his time
- 9:45Speaker 1: and his money. I have yet to see one dollar
- 9:48Speaker 1: of my Cuba project was spent, Not one dollar, not
- 9:52Speaker 1: one paper, he wrote to the late British neurophysiologist Peter Fenwick,
- 9:56Speaker 1: who was among the attendees. Fenwick assured him that it
- 10:00Speaker 1: was a success conference excellent. Sandwich wrote back, many young
- 10:04Speaker 1: Cubans with neuroscience posters and papers. Who was nice to
- 10:08Speaker 1: encourage some senior Cuban scientists with remarkable discoveries. The Herald
- 10:14Speaker 1: tried contacting you through Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he
- 10:17Speaker 1: currently teaches, but did not receive any response. The records
- 10:22Speaker 1: suggest that was the last time Epstein funded any academic
- 10:26Speaker 1: project in Cuba. Drug plane. Among the planes he was
- 10:31Speaker 1: exploring buying was one belonging to South Aviation Incorporated, a
- 10:35Speaker 1: Fort Lauderdale company owned by Argentine businessman Federico Machado. US
- 10:41Speaker 1: federal prosecutors indicted Machado in twenty twenty one, charging him
- 10:45Speaker 1: with conspiracy to commit cocaine trafficking, export violations, and wire fraud.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Sounds like the exact kind of guy hanging out with Epstein.
- 10:54Speaker 1: The indictment, detailing roughly three hundred and fifty million dollars
- 10:57Speaker 1: in criminal activity, alleged that the South Aviation were part
- 11:01Speaker 1: of his scheme to purchase and illegally register airplanes in
- 11:04Speaker 1: the US. The jets would then be lent to organize
- 11:08Speaker 1: crime syndicates across Latin America, which use them to transport
- 11:12Speaker 1: cocaine destined for the US. The illicit proceeds were used
- 11:16Speaker 1: to buy more planes. And remember the DEA investigation we
- 11:19Speaker 1: were talking about that Epstein was part of. Could this
- 11:23Speaker 1: have something to do with that? Very possible, Very very possible,
- 11:28Speaker 1: because they still don't want to give us any information
- 11:30Speaker 1: about the details of what was going on. And if
- 11:34Speaker 1: it was some kind of operation going against cartels or whatever,
- 11:37Speaker 1: then of course there's going to be operational secrecy. But
- 11:40Speaker 1: if there was a case, then we should have some
- 11:42Speaker 1: core paperwork, right, we should have some kind of paper trail.
- 11:47Speaker 1: So I still have some questions about what was going
- 11:50Speaker 1: on with that DEA investigation and what the hell Epstein
- 11:53Speaker 1: was doing as part of it. Whether the jet Epstein
- 11:56Speaker 1: was interested in was also used in illicit activity is unclear.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Epstein ultimately decided not to proceed with the purchase. Machado,
- 12:04Speaker 1: who was extradited by the US from Argentina late last year,
- 12:07Speaker 1: is now in federal custody and awaiting trial. He faces
- 12:11Speaker 1: up to life in prison. The Herald reached out to
- 12:14Speaker 1: Machado for comment VIA's attorneys in the US, but did
- 12:17Speaker 1: not receive any response. And look, this report really is
- 12:21Speaker 1: just building out on what we know, and it's adding
- 12:23Speaker 1: some pieces to what we already suspected. And the fact
- 12:28Speaker 1: that Jeffrey Epstein was very active in South America financially
- 12:33Speaker 1: is something that would have been easily traced by the
- 12:36Speaker 1: United States government if they would have cared, but as
- 12:40Speaker 1: we all know, they didn't care. And the whole entire
- 12:43Speaker 1: quote unquote investigation was built to fill from the very beginning.
- 12:47Speaker 1: And when you go back and you look at the
- 12:49Speaker 1: evidence and you look at what was going on in
- 12:51Speaker 1: real time, it's rather obvious that the fix was in
- 12:54Speaker 1: and that Jeffrey Epstein was being protected by somebody or
- 12:58Speaker 1: somebodies in the government. All right, folks, we're gonna wrap
- 13:02Speaker 1: up episode one right here, and in the next episode
- 13:05Speaker 1: we're gonna pick up where we left off and finish
- 13:07Speaker 1: this bad boy up. All the information that goes with
- 13:10Speaker 1: this episode can be found in the description box.
