Scotland Yard’s Mandelson Probe Hits an Epstein Files Roadblock (8/24/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

• 0:00
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. A few months ago, Peter Mandelsson was arrested
• 0:09
Speaker 1: over in the UK and according to authorities, he was
• 0:14
Speaker 1: passing confidential information to his buddy Jeffrey Epstein. Now Peter Mandelsson,
• 0:19
Speaker 1: for his part, has denied that he ever passed any
• 0:23
Speaker 1: kind of confidential information to anyone, including Jeffrey Epstein. Well,
• 0:29
Speaker 1: the UK authorities were hoping that they'd be able to
• 0:32
Speaker 1: get some of the redacted Epstein files from the Department
• 0:35
Speaker 1: of Justice, but in typical Todd Blanche Department of Justice fashion,
• 0:39
Speaker 1: they're not helping out and they're refusing to turn over
• 0:43
Speaker 1: the documentation that's being requested by the UK. And instead
• 0:47
Speaker 1: of just handing over the information that has to do
• 0:51
Speaker 1: with Peter Mandelsson, the DOJ instead is putting up a
• 0:56
Speaker 1: brick wall because they don't don't care about justice. Okay,
• 1:01
Speaker 1: it's not about justice. It never has been. It's always
• 1:05
Speaker 1: been about the blast radius. And every time you see
• 1:08
Speaker 1: a ruling like this or a decision like this, you
• 1:12
Speaker 1: know that the fix is in on what planet? Don't
• 1:16
Speaker 1: we want to get to the bottom of what Jeffrey
• 1:18
Speaker 1: Epstein was up to. And if he was passing confidential
• 1:22
Speaker 1: information to anybody from any country and that country is
• 1:26
Speaker 1: requesting your help, the DOJ should offer that help. Whatever
• 1:33
Speaker 1: can bring more light to what Epstein was up to.
• 1:36
Speaker 1: That's what should be done. But instead they continue to
• 1:40
Speaker 1: do the opposite. Today's article is from The Independent and
• 1:45
Speaker 1: the headline fears for Mandelssohn investigation as MET still doesn't
• 1:50
Speaker 1: have unredacted Epstein files. This article was authored by Amy
• 1:55
Speaker 1: Claire Martin. Fears are growing for the police investigation and
• 1:59
Speaker 1: to whether Lord Mandelssohn shared confidential information with pedophile billionaire
• 2:04
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. And look, birds of a feather, right, we
• 2:08
Speaker 1: know that Peter Mandelssohn was well liked. We know that
• 2:11
Speaker 1: Peter Mandelson has friends in the Trump administration, and we
• 2:15
Speaker 1: know that they're going to try and help their buddy out.
• 2:17
Speaker 1: That's how these people roll. Power protects power. And if
• 2:21
Speaker 1: the maskets yanked off of Mandelssh, then the maskets yanked
• 2:24
Speaker 1: off of all of them and they can't have it.
• 2:27
Speaker 1: So instead they'll continue with this theater where they pretend
• 2:30
Speaker 1: they care, pretend that they're actually you know, investigating what happened.
• 2:34
Speaker 1: But that's all just part of the hustle. They're not
• 2:37
Speaker 1: really investigating anything. How many investigations have been opened up?
• 2:41
Speaker 1: How many people have been referred for prosecution? That's right,
• 2:47
Speaker 1: just the two mister Levigne and Frederick Foukai and on
• 2:51
Speaker 1: the word of Sarah Kell and Vickers. Those are the
• 2:53
Speaker 1: only people that you've referred to the Justice Department for investigation.
• 3:00
Speaker 1: Seems a bit weird. No reports claim that the probe
• 3:03
Speaker 1: into the former Foreign secretary is stalled without the US
• 3:06
Speaker 1: authorities granting access to the unredacted Epstein files. Well, of
• 3:10
Speaker 1: course they have to have the information. They have to
• 3:13
Speaker 1: have the evidence if they're going to prosecute somebody. And
• 3:17
Speaker 1: if the United States doesn't want to play ball, well
• 3:19
Speaker 1: what are they supposed to do? I mean, you would
• 3:22
Speaker 1: think that the most transparent administration in the history of
• 3:25
Speaker 1: administrations here in America would want to be transparent. But
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: I guess not. I guess it's only transparency when we're
• 3:32
Speaker 1: talking about Amelia Earhart. According to The Telegraph, neither the
• 3:37
Speaker 1: Department of Justice nor the FBI has yet agreed to
• 3:40
Speaker 1: request from the Metro Police for the documents. Scotland Yard
• 3:45
Speaker 1: Detectives initially made the request under an informal agreement to
• 3:49
Speaker 1: share information between the law enforcement agencies. This was later
• 3:53
Speaker 1: escalated to a formal request for Mutual Legal Assistance MLA.
• 3:58
Speaker 1: But it could take up to two years to act
• 4:00
Speaker 1: the documents, and there's no guarantee that the DJ will
• 4:03
Speaker 1: release them. You need to tell me. They can't make
• 4:06
Speaker 1: an exception, call a special counsel or whatever the fuck
• 4:09
Speaker 1: you do. Of course they can, but it's just like
• 4:13
Speaker 1: the NPA. They have no desire to get rid of it,
• 4:16
Speaker 1: and they have no desire to help anybody else investiget
• 4:19
Speaker 1: Epstein because all heroads lead home. Everybody needs to understand
• 4:23
Speaker 1: all the people that have been pitching you on Jeffrey
• 4:26
Speaker 1: Epstein's this big massage spy, they're wrong. They're the same
• 4:30
Speaker 1: people that think they know about the Tyler Robinson case
• 4:33
Speaker 1: because of dreams and vibes. You have been horribly misled, folks,
• 4:39
Speaker 1: horribly misled. Jeffrey Epstein is was, and always will be
• 4:43
Speaker 1: made and protected by intelligence in America. And those are
• 4:49
Speaker 1: just the facts. I know that it doesn't line up
• 4:52
Speaker 1: with all the neat little narratives that want to tell
• 4:54
Speaker 1: you something different, but it's just not the truth. And
• 4:59
Speaker 1: if those people are lying to you about that? What
• 5:02
Speaker 1: else are they lying to you about? And listen when
• 5:04
Speaker 1: I say lying, that's what I mean, not about being wrong.
• 5:07
Speaker 1: People are wrong all the time. People can evaluate a
• 5:10
Speaker 1: situation with the facts that are available and then change
• 5:13
Speaker 1: their mind later on. That's what thoughtful, intelligent people do.
• 5:16
Speaker 1: They follow the evidence. What these grifters do is they
• 5:20
Speaker 1: show up with the evidence and make the evidence fit
• 5:23
Speaker 1: whatever narrative they're trying to build. And isn't it funny
• 5:26
Speaker 1: that the people that are always yelling about everybody else
• 5:29
Speaker 1: being caught up in a siop are actually caught up
• 5:32
Speaker 1: in a siop. The men investigating the claims the Labor
• 5:37
Speaker 1: Grandee passed on market sensitive information to Epstein during his
• 5:41
Speaker 1: time as Business Secretary. The seventy two year old was
• 5:44
Speaker 1: sacked from his post as ambassador to the US last
• 5:47
Speaker 1: year and resigned from the House of Lords in February.
• 5:51
Speaker 1: Has previously denied any wrongdoing. Oh well, in that case,
• 5:55
Speaker 1: close the investigation. Peter Mandelson says he's innocent. And you
• 6:00
Speaker 1: know what, The sad truth is that the DOJ probably
• 6:03
Speaker 1: has access to everything that the English need to send
• 6:08
Speaker 1: this son of a bitch to prison. But they know
• 6:11
Speaker 1: that Peter Mandelsson has matches. And if you think a
• 6:14
Speaker 1: guy like Peter Mandelsson is scared to burn the house
• 6:17
Speaker 1: down around him, you got another thing coming. I bet you.
• 6:21
Speaker 1: He's told people and reached out behind the scenes and
• 6:23
Speaker 1: told them listen, if I go down, you go down too.
• 6:28
Speaker 1: He was arrested on suspicion of misconduct and public office
• 6:32
Speaker 1: on the twenty third of February, and his properties were searched.
• 6:36
Speaker 1: It came several weeks after the DOJ released three million
• 6:39
Speaker 1: documents relating to the late billionaire on January thirtieth. However,
• 6:44
Speaker 1: some information in the exchanges had been redacted to protect
• 6:48
Speaker 1: victims and avoid jeopardizing ongoing investigations. Oh yeah, ongoing investigations.
• 6:55
Speaker 1: That's fed speak for leave us alone. That's fedspeak for
• 6:59
Speaker 1: you can't get this foyer. That's fed speak for a
• 7:02
Speaker 1: fuck you. The arrest followed a tip off from Sir
• 7:08
Speaker 1: Lindsay Hoyle, the Common Speaker, that he could flee to
• 7:11
Speaker 1: the British Virgin Islands. Scotland Yard previously confirmed it was
• 7:14
Speaker 1: seeking further details from law enforcement partners and including the US,
• 7:19
Speaker 1: with reports in March claiming that met Commissioner Sir Mark
• 7:23
Speaker 1: Rowley was due to press the US authorities on the
• 7:26
Speaker 1: issue during a visit to Washington. Well, we know that
• 7:30
Speaker 1: Trump is a quid pro quo kind of dude, So
• 7:32
Speaker 1: the UK is going to have to offer something up
• 7:34
Speaker 1: in return. What that is I have no idea who
• 7:37
Speaker 1: the fuck knows with Donald Trump. But if you think
• 7:41
Speaker 1: that he's going to give something up that might lead
• 7:43
Speaker 1: back to him, you got another thing coming. And that's
• 7:48
Speaker 1: what it's all about. Remember, they're worried where this trail leads,
• 7:53
Speaker 1: and that's why they're willing to burn all the boats
• 7:55
Speaker 1: on the shore to make sure that you don't get
• 7:57
Speaker 1: the full story. It's now feared that the investigation could
• 8:02
Speaker 1: eventually collapse without access to the unredacted documents, according to
• 8:07
Speaker 1: reports in The Times and The Telegraphs. Although there's hope
• 8:10
Speaker 1: a sufficient case can be built by interviewing former politicians
• 8:14
Speaker 1: and officials, the files are understood to be crucial to
• 8:17
Speaker 1: the probe. You know, the cynic in me wants to
• 8:20
Speaker 1: say that the UK and the United States government are
• 8:22
Speaker 1: colluding to not release the files. That's what the cynic
• 8:26
Speaker 1: in me says. Is that true? I don't know. I
• 8:28
Speaker 1: have no idea. But when we're talking about this case
• 8:32
Speaker 1: and we're talking about the people that we're talking about,
• 8:35
Speaker 1: we're forced to think that, you know, we're dealing with
• 8:38
Speaker 1: sinister people because we are right. And I think that's
• 8:41
Speaker 1: been proved time and time again. Pretty much every time
• 8:44
Speaker 1: you turn around, there's somebody else playing a game. Oh no,
• 8:47
Speaker 1: we can't have that. Oh we can have this, but
• 8:50
Speaker 1: we're going to redact that. Oh we messed up here,
• 8:53
Speaker 1: on and on and on and on. You know, they
• 8:55
Speaker 1: never say, oh, well, we indicted this person, because there's
• 8:59
Speaker 1: a ton of evidence and we're going to see it
• 9:01
Speaker 1: all the way through. Reports have suggested that the Trump
• 9:04
Speaker 1: administration is hesitant to hand over any files that could
• 9:07
Speaker 1: cause damage to the president's reputation or risk future scandals. However,
• 9:12
Speaker 1: US officials have insisted they're simply following established legal procedure.
• 9:17
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, established legal procedure. Is it loopholes and technicalities?
• 9:22
Speaker 1: Do you think that the DOJ and the American government
• 9:25
Speaker 1: doesn't have a workaround for that? What if it was
• 9:27
Speaker 1: a terrorist, do you think they'd wait two years or
• 9:32
Speaker 1: do you think they'd bypass whatever MLA safeguards there are
• 9:36
Speaker 1: and get the information they need, but when it comes
• 9:38
Speaker 1: to Epstein, hell no, you're not getting that. A DOJ
• 9:44
Speaker 1: spokesman told The Telegraph, the Department of Justice has not
• 9:47
Speaker 1: refused to assist any jurisdiction investigating potential criminal conduct related
• 9:52
Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein. Well that's a lie. They just got
• 9:55
Speaker 1: sued by the State of New Mexico for Fox's sake
• 9:57
Speaker 1: for not handing over information. But sure, the DOJ is complying.
• 10:01
Speaker 1: They're playing ball, they're following the rules. Both US and
• 10:06
Speaker 1: UK authorities follow established and legally required procedures for sharing
• 10:11
Speaker 1: information and evidence, and those processes ensure that any cooperation
• 10:15
Speaker 1: adheres to applicable laws that govern international evidence sharing and
• 10:20
Speaker 1: protects the integrity of ongoing matters. The Metropolitan Police declined
• 10:24
Speaker 1: the comment, so translation, we're not giving you anything and
• 10:29
Speaker 1: there's nothing you can do about it. So I guess
• 10:31
Speaker 1: the question is is the UK just going to accept
• 10:34
Speaker 1: that or are they going to push and push some
• 10:37
Speaker 1: more to try and get the documents, And like usual,
• 10:42
Speaker 1: will be following along every step of the way. All
• 10:46
Speaker 1: the information that goes with this episode can be found
• 10:49
Speaker 1: in the description box.
