- 0:09Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorites, the podcast from the Action Network.
- 0:13Speaker 1: I am Chad Milman. I am going to be joined
- 0:17Speaker 1: by my BFF, professional better Simon Hunter. Somehow, some way,
- 0:24Speaker 1: NFL is in the books. Despite its strangeness, it ended
- 0:31Speaker 1: the same way so many others have ended. Simon tom
- 0:37Speaker 1: Brady winning the Super Bowl. We're gonna talk about how
- 0:42Speaker 1: we liked the bus money line. We're gonna talk about
- 0:44Speaker 1: how you had a Buck's future. Because the bigger question
- 0:50Speaker 1: then tom Brady winning, is did you the listeners win?
- 0:56Speaker 1: Did Simon and I win? Me think we did? Me
- 1:01Speaker 1: thinks we did. Simon. More importantly, it's time to turn
- 1:05Speaker 1: the page. We got to move on. We cannot rest
- 1:08Speaker 1: on our laurels. We cannot count our cash for umpteen
- 1:13Speaker 1: hours after the game. What can we win on next year?
- 1:21Speaker 1: Never too early to talk NFL futures, NFL m v P.
- 1:25Speaker 1: We are going to do that today. We will get
- 1:28Speaker 1: to a lot of your questions for me and Simon.
- 1:31Speaker 1: We will announce the winner of our Super Bowl. Phrase
- 1:35Speaker 1: that pays contest, That person and their charity are getting
- 1:38Speaker 1: some cash. First, let's welcome Simon. Hello Simon, Hello Simon.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Anyone if you do that to you remember that that
- 1:46Speaker 1: Mike Myers skid from SNL. Simon, I'm Simon. I like drawing. Hello, motive,
- 1:55Speaker 1: It's Simon. I'd like to do drawers. Yeah, Man, Simon's
- 2:03Speaker 1: not an easy name to grow up with. Man Simon says,
- 2:06Speaker 1: is like the ultimate uh. Anything you say from the
- 2:09Speaker 1: age about four to ten, they go, oh, does Simon say? So?
- 2:13Speaker 1: That was definitely a fun experience here in America. Well
- 2:17Speaker 1: also also, eventually you end up co hosting a podcast
- 2:22Speaker 1: and the idiot host creates an entire uh phrase that
- 2:28Speaker 1: pays experienced out of the name because he's not clever
- 2:33Speaker 1: enough to think of anything else. I was gonna say,
- 2:35Speaker 1: simple minds think of simple things. So it's no fault
- 2:38Speaker 1: to you, my friend. So chat before we start. I
- 2:43Speaker 1: have to uh, people need you to make a public apology.
- 2:46Speaker 1: You asked if Andy Reid is even close to be
- 2:49Speaker 1: on the same level as Bill Belichick, Do you want
- 2:52Speaker 1: to apologize everyone for even bringing that up? Well, look,
- 2:55Speaker 1: I honestly that was one of the questions that was
- 2:58Speaker 1: asked when Mitchell producer Extraordinaire tweeted out from the favorite
- 3:03Speaker 1: handle on Twitter that what questions do you have for
- 3:08Speaker 1: us today, and someone asked me to address that. I
- 3:11Speaker 1: was gonna wait, Um, but I will address it. Look,
- 3:17Speaker 1: I I I don't know what to say. I'm not
- 3:20Speaker 1: going to apologize for it. I felt. I felt in
- 3:24Speaker 1: advance of the game that I like Andy read a lot.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I like in as a human being. I like what
- 3:33Speaker 1: he's brought to the game. I like the coaching tree
- 3:36Speaker 1: he's developed. I like how he's been so innovative. I
- 3:40Speaker 1: like the way he handles himself. Um. So my hope
- 3:45Speaker 1: was that he would win super Bowls and eventually be
- 3:49Speaker 1: considered a better coach than Bill Belichick. By the way,
- 3:54Speaker 1: it's Belichick is so great without Tom Brady. Belichick is
- 3:57Speaker 1: a guy who got fired, Oh my god, I got
- 4:01Speaker 1: fired in Cleveland, has not been able to draft talent,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and decided to put his first post Tom Brady season
- 4:09Speaker 1: in the hands of a wounded, UH debilitated UH Cam Newton.
- 4:15Speaker 1: So I'm not Bill Belichick great coach. I'd still make that,
- 4:20Speaker 1: you know what, I'd still make the case than Andy
- 4:23Speaker 1: Reid could end up being a better coach than Bill Belichick. Also,
- 4:29Speaker 1: his quarterback was playing on one ft and his quarterback
- 4:33Speaker 1: didn't have a left tackle or a right tackle, like,
- 4:36Speaker 1: these things happen. These things happen. I'm not going to
- 4:40Speaker 1: apologize for it. So that was a very nice apology chat.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I appreciate you doing that. The fans appreciate that apology.
- 4:49Speaker 1: But I don't know, man, Bill Belichick. If you watch
- 4:53Speaker 1: those early Super bowls, Tom Brady, he's, no doubt the goat.
- 4:57Speaker 1: But I mean, dude, those defenses for the Patriots, like
- 5:00Speaker 1: they shut down the greatest show on turf, like Belichick is,
- 5:04Speaker 1: he's the goat. But yeah, by the way, isn't that
- 5:08Speaker 1: the one where they were videotaping in the stands all
- 5:11Speaker 1: the place? So if you're not if you're not cheating,
- 5:13Speaker 1: you're not trying yet. How hard is it to stop
- 5:17Speaker 1: a team when you know every single play that's coming.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I don't want to hear about how great he was
- 5:25Speaker 1: Marshall falk and how he decided they were gonna chip
- 5:29Speaker 1: Marshall Falcon that was gonna be the way that they
- 5:32Speaker 1: won the game. They won the game because he knew
- 5:36Speaker 1: the place. Okay, boy, genius McVeigh three points in the
- 5:40Speaker 1: Super Bowl. Yeah, I have some medicine. Why am I
- 5:44Speaker 1: defending the Patriots? I hate the Patriots. No, it's not
- 5:47Speaker 1: making me defend the Patriots. What is happening right now
- 5:50Speaker 1: at all? You know what we should do. We should
- 5:52Speaker 1: all be praising Bruce Arians, because here's a guy who
- 5:57Speaker 1: like is a gun slinger to the end, and during
- 6:00Speaker 1: this season, you can remember earlier in the year, like
- 6:03Speaker 1: he very easily could have been catering to tom Brady's
- 6:07Speaker 1: every win and handling him with kid gloves. And early
- 6:11Speaker 1: in the year, like he came out and he was
- 6:13Speaker 1: critical of tom Brady, and everyone's like, oh my god,
- 6:16Speaker 1: how could do that tom Brady? Tom Brady didn't care.
- 6:19Speaker 1: It seemed like they had a very adult, respectful relationship
- 6:24Speaker 1: in a way that maybe tom Brady was never able
- 6:25Speaker 1: to have with Bill Belichick in terms of having input,
- 6:29Speaker 1: in terms of having his say in terms of guiding
- 6:33Speaker 1: the team, like Arians clearly treats his players significantly differently
- 6:38Speaker 1: than anybody else does, and was able to find a
- 6:42Speaker 1: way to get buy in into his offense from the
- 6:47Speaker 1: best quarterback ever who had been playing it one way
- 6:49Speaker 1: for twenty years, and together they won a super Bowl
- 6:53Speaker 1: and we won the Bucks money line bet. And I
- 6:56Speaker 1: don't know that there is a single bit of difference
- 7:00Speaker 1: between the importance of those two things. There's amazing There's
- 7:04Speaker 1: a ton of stats from this game that are just
- 7:05Speaker 1: amazing just about how epic Brady is. But the most
- 7:09Speaker 1: my favorite has to be the fact that all every
- 7:12Speaker 1: person that scored a touchdown in that game for the
- 7:14Speaker 1: Buccaneers wasn't on the team the year before. But Gronkowski
- 7:19Speaker 1: came in free agency when I were traded to them
- 7:23Speaker 1: for NET, came there when they they picked them up,
- 7:25Speaker 1: and a b came there when they picked them up.
- 7:27Speaker 1: So it's just Brady man. Like, I know, it's different
- 7:30Speaker 1: because we're living in the moment and it's it's weird
- 7:32Speaker 1: when you're living in the moment of history. And I
- 7:35Speaker 1: know that the ratings were down, like Darren tweeted that
- 7:37Speaker 1: everything like that, But I think enough people not that
- 7:41Speaker 1: they were disappointing that game, but they wanted a good
- 7:43Speaker 1: game where someone that bet on the Buccaneers. That was
- 7:46Speaker 1: one of the most fun games I've ever experienced in
- 7:48Speaker 1: my life. It's like, as soon as he drove that
- 7:51Speaker 1: field and scored a touchdown that first quarter, even though
- 7:54Speaker 1: it's brutal because I was a push on the first
- 7:55Speaker 1: quarter under oh my god, did he look good? And
- 7:59Speaker 1: you were just everyone was just like, the Chiefs are
- 8:01Speaker 1: not gonna stop this Buck in your offense, like you
- 8:04Speaker 1: saw that in that drive, that that the running and
- 8:07Speaker 1: passing attack with the Buccaneers. Who knows how many times
- 8:10Speaker 1: if they play that game a thousand times the exact
- 8:13Speaker 1: same situation, you honestly look at numbers and you would
- 8:17Speaker 1: say what the Chiefs might win of the time. They
- 8:20Speaker 1: just looked totally outmatched, just a offensively and defensively. So
- 8:24Speaker 1: we can break it down even more because that game, Man,
- 8:27Speaker 1: there was a lot to unpack from that game. All right,
- 8:29Speaker 1: well let's do that because we had five bets that
- 8:33Speaker 1: we ended up giving out on Sunday from the ten
- 8:36Speaker 1: or so that we talked about in the podcast last week.
- 8:39Speaker 1: One of them was Bucks money line, and you also,
- 8:43Speaker 1: by the way, had a pretty big Bucks future. So
- 8:45Speaker 1: before we unpack the four other props, I do want
- 8:49Speaker 1: to talk about why did we feel so good about
- 8:53Speaker 1: the Bucks money line? I have my opinions, I'm happy
- 8:56Speaker 1: to share them. Why did you feel so good about
- 8:58Speaker 1: the Bucks money line? And how good do you feel
- 9:01Speaker 1: about that Bucks future? I was a coward honestly about
- 9:05Speaker 1: the books future I the whole entire year. In the
- 9:08Speaker 1: back of my mind, I was like, in no way,
- 9:10Speaker 1: it cashes, Just no way, Simon Hunter, professional coward, first
- 9:16Speaker 1: year on the offense, all these guys brand new to
- 9:18Speaker 1: each other, the fact that no team had ever played
- 9:22Speaker 1: at home like hosted the Super Bowl, and I just
- 9:25Speaker 1: thought all these different little things, I just kept saying,
- 9:28Speaker 1: no way. So, like I told you, I hedged out
- 9:31Speaker 1: pretty much the whole way because I just did not
- 9:35Speaker 1: believe it. And and by the time I got to
- 9:38Speaker 1: the Super Bowl, I had the date on the numbers saying, no,
- 9:41Speaker 1: You're getting crazy good value here in the Buccaneers. Like
- 9:44Speaker 1: we talked about it. Did I see that scenario playing
- 9:46Speaker 1: out of thirty one to nine win? No? I mean
- 9:50Speaker 1: that The fact that my homes has never not had
- 9:52Speaker 1: a touchdown in the game was the main reason I
- 9:56Speaker 1: just did not see this being a blow. I just
- 9:58Speaker 1: I couldn't. I cannot. I could not see him not
- 10:00Speaker 1: getting the end zone. And I've watched already three times
- 10:04Speaker 1: the Super Bowl, Like I just I couldn't get over
- 10:06Speaker 1: that what Todd Bowls did. Because you watched the Buffalo
- 10:09Speaker 1: game just two weeks ago, I said, it two weeks ago.
- 10:14Speaker 1: It's one of the best offensive performances I've ever seen
- 10:17Speaker 1: the Chiefs. Everything they did was just genius. All the illusion,
- 10:21Speaker 1: the movement, everything top bowls just outsmore to them to
- 10:25Speaker 1: the highest degree. He just triple team Tyreek, put two guys,
- 10:30Speaker 1: two linebackers in the middle against Kelsey, and just kept
- 10:33Speaker 1: everything in front of the where he knew the offensive
- 10:36Speaker 1: line was not gonna be able to stop these dns.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Just like we talked, we loved shack the shacks over
- 10:41Speaker 1: a half a sack that was a no sweat. He
- 10:44Speaker 1: had two sacks. He easily should have five sacks. I mean,
- 10:47Speaker 1: my homes is unbelievable. Like him him not getting those sacks. Man,
- 10:52Speaker 1: I couldn't get over watching it. I was just I
- 10:54Speaker 1: was fearful of his life because I've got to a
- 10:56Speaker 1: point where it's like, what is this guy still doing here?
- 10:59Speaker 1: But in that fact that we didn't get that four
- 11:02Speaker 1: and a half sack cover on our prop that that
- 11:05Speaker 1: was just sickening because they had him three or four
- 11:08Speaker 1: times dead their rights and he got out of it.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Because it's Patrick Mahomes that m Let's talk about that
- 11:16Speaker 1: prop for a second. Uh, the four and a half sacks.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Prop that was my biggest liability of the day. Oh no,
- 11:24Speaker 1: And I was so sure of it. I kept talking
- 11:28Speaker 1: about it. Every time I talked about it, I convinced myself.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I found some more outs. Uh. The fact that that
- 11:39Speaker 1: he wasn't sacked five times on his own was astonishing
- 11:43Speaker 1: and gut wretching, and I couldn't believe it. Up to
- 11:47Speaker 1: h I convinced the buddy of mine UH in Illinois
- 11:51Speaker 1: to be betting it. And we were texting each other
- 11:54Speaker 1: at the end of the game, and I'm thinking, we
- 11:57Speaker 1: just need him to get the ball one more time,
- 11:59Speaker 1: like the box, just have to punt the ball, get
- 12:03Speaker 1: the Chiefs one more desperate attempt, and like every time
- 12:06Speaker 1: he dropped back it just in that last series, it
- 12:09Speaker 1: wasn't even close. What I don't what I don't get
- 12:12Speaker 1: is why wasn't that that botched snap that went over
- 12:18Speaker 1: Brady's head that he then had to fall on then
- 12:21Speaker 1: he was tagged down. Why wasn't that considered a sack?
- 12:25Speaker 1: And I still don't get that. I don't understand why
- 12:28Speaker 1: it's not considered a sack. Um. Maybe they considered like
- 12:32Speaker 1: a kneel down play or something but he's not dead
- 12:35Speaker 1: until they touched him. So that's why I didn't really
- 12:37Speaker 1: understand the play. He got touched down in the backfield.
- 12:40Speaker 1: That's technically a sack. The same thing happened to my
- 12:42Speaker 1: homes they counted as a sack. But that that prop
- 12:47Speaker 1: is weird. The worst part is I had a bunch
- 12:49Speaker 1: of four, so like I never thought I was gonna
- 12:52Speaker 1: push on that, Like seriously, when that game got into
- 12:54Speaker 1: the second half, I go, man, he is just gonna
- 12:57Speaker 1: get dominated by these guys. But that's how it goes
- 13:01Speaker 1: bad luck. Like we'll talk about the fat man prop man,
- 13:04Speaker 1: Oh my god, Chad, alright, remind people what that was
- 13:08Speaker 1: because we talked about that in the podcast last week.
- 13:11Speaker 1: So it's kind of better where if I better grand
- 13:13Speaker 1: on it, I'm getting twenty K back. And it's one
- 13:15Speaker 1: of these that I joked about. It's you're hoping for
- 13:19Speaker 1: them to bring in the sixth man, a big offensive lineman,
- 13:22Speaker 1: and they just do a little trick play where they
- 13:25Speaker 1: squeak out, they'll be wide open and the ball is
- 13:27Speaker 1: gonna be thrown to him every time. And had a
- 13:30Speaker 1: little bit of info um right from both teams, like
- 13:34Speaker 1: different be writers talking about they do have trick plays
- 13:38Speaker 1: that they could pull out that had offensive lineman involved
- 13:41Speaker 1: in it. And man, as soon as the telecast said,
- 13:45Speaker 1: oh they got the sixth linemen in here, Brady does
- 13:48Speaker 1: the play. He runs back everyone. I see the linebackers
- 13:51Speaker 1: step step up. I see the guy scooting to the
- 13:53Speaker 1: back of the end zone. Brady puts it right into
- 13:57Speaker 1: his hands and the guy literally had to go right
- 13:59Speaker 1: there his hands into his face, mess and drops it.
- 14:01Speaker 1: So that's why it's twenty to one. These guys aren't
- 14:04Speaker 1: paid to catch the ball, their their offensive lignment, but man,
- 14:08Speaker 1: that would have that would have helped the day. So basically,
- 14:11Speaker 1: my my two biggest prop bets were the over one
- 14:15Speaker 1: and a half field goals and the most points second half.
- 14:19Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go through my tickets. I probably want
- 14:23Speaker 1: a decent amount on the props, Like the over one
- 14:27Speaker 1: and a half interceptions came through like that was a
- 14:29Speaker 1: real nice one, and that that second half one hurt.
- 14:33Speaker 1: But you'll hear me next year the same thing. I'll
- 14:36Speaker 1: stay on the show. That's a bet you just always make.
- 14:38Speaker 1: We saw the opportunities the Chiefs guy in the red
- 14:40Speaker 1: zone two different times. They just couldn't score, and the
- 14:43Speaker 1: Buccaneers did the same thing. They had no reason to
- 14:45Speaker 1: really push the ball downfield. They were up twenty points,
- 14:48Speaker 1: so it was just a bad, bad luck situation with
- 14:51Speaker 1: that one. But overall, yeah, man, the the Buccaneers money line,
- 14:56Speaker 1: I don't know what your reasons for taking up, but
- 14:58Speaker 1: I I said that simple. If you believe in a
- 15:01Speaker 1: side in the Super Bowl, the only time you take
- 15:04Speaker 1: the money line is when it's the dog, because that's
- 15:06Speaker 1: how the bookmakers win. If you took the plus they
- 15:08Speaker 1: were the Buccaneers, you just took it at minus one
- 15:12Speaker 1: tent So if you're being a hundred, you're only getting
- 15:14Speaker 1: ninety back where we took the money line, which is
- 15:18Speaker 1: a percentage wise is a smarter bet because over time,
- 15:21Speaker 1: like we always talk about, that's how people need to
- 15:24Speaker 1: start thinking about this game. And the Super Bowl is
- 15:28Speaker 1: so unique. I'm I'm trying to drill into people's head
- 15:31Speaker 1: here that the spread, of course it matters, but you're
- 15:34Speaker 1: hurting yourself in the Super Bowl. You're not taking the
- 15:36Speaker 1: value that's there. And I I I just didn't see
- 15:41Speaker 1: a situation where if the if the Buccaneers won, how
- 15:44Speaker 1: do they not win by a field goal. So I
- 15:46Speaker 1: gave up the alternative line of minus two and a
- 15:48Speaker 1: half just because there's a ton of value there that
- 15:51Speaker 1: even if I don't hit that bet this year, next year,
- 15:53Speaker 1: if I take an alternative line again, I hit it.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Now I'm up on two years and and even on
- 15:58Speaker 1: one on one. So that's all I'm trying to stillip
- 15:59Speaker 1: you cool the fact that I'm on a crazy run
- 16:02Speaker 1: here where these keep hitting like the Chiefs minus six
- 16:04Speaker 1: and a half last year. I did not deserve that
- 16:07Speaker 1: to hit. They got a flute touch on the right
- 16:09Speaker 1: end of the game, and that's the only reason I
- 16:10Speaker 1: covered the alternative line. But that's why you're playing it.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I'm talking. That's why I'm trying to install people. Weird
- 16:15Speaker 1: things happen in these Super Bowls like we saw on Sunday,
- 16:17Speaker 1: Like that's what I'm betting on because the values there.
- 16:20Speaker 1: The bookmaker wants you to play the street because even
- 16:23Speaker 1: if they lose, they're still not losing as bad because
- 16:25Speaker 1: so many people took the three or three and a
- 16:27Speaker 1: half because they thought they were getting good value when
- 16:29Speaker 1: they weren't. The You had a really interesting staff that
- 16:33Speaker 1: you talked about on the podcast last week where you
- 16:35Speaker 1: pointed out that if you like the underdog, take the
- 16:38Speaker 1: money line because the spread does not come into play. So,
- 16:42Speaker 1: being the diligent reporter that i'm that I am, I
- 16:45Speaker 1: looked it up and I went back. It's the last
- 16:47Speaker 1: time an underdog covered but did not win was two
- 16:54Speaker 1: thousand nine Super Bowl Steelers Cardinals, Steelers on that last
- 17:02Speaker 1: second play to Santonio Holmes. And every time there has
- 17:08Speaker 1: been an underdog that covered since then, they've won the
- 17:14Speaker 1: game outright. And then the flip side is the favorites
- 17:18Speaker 1: if they won the game, they covered out right. So
- 17:21Speaker 1: the point spread from an underdog point of view has
- 17:24Speaker 1: never come into play since that two thousand nine season.
- 17:27Speaker 1: And you could argue that two thousand nine Super Bowl
- 17:30Speaker 1: that was a fluke because of what happened in the
- 17:33Speaker 1: last second because the Carlo's winning that game in the
- 17:37Speaker 1: end of the first half. Do you remember Harris picking
- 17:40Speaker 1: up the ball running all the way times. So again,
- 17:43Speaker 1: that's what I'm trying to still people, is that think
- 17:45Speaker 1: about that. So we have eleven years now where you've
- 17:48Speaker 1: wasted value on taking these numbers, And that's what I'm
- 17:51Speaker 1: trying to still people say, underdog, I don't even know
- 17:54Speaker 1: what the numbers are. Say they're just sixteen and thirty two,
- 17:56Speaker 1: whatever the number is straight up against the spread. Look
- 17:59Speaker 1: at those number because there's huge underdogs in that whole
- 18:02Speaker 1: sequence where if you've just been taking that money line
- 18:04Speaker 1: on the dog, it's been paying out like you're in
- 18:08Speaker 1: the positive. And if you're sixteen and thirty two, you're
- 18:10Speaker 1: gonna be above that midway point. Because just off my head,
- 18:13Speaker 1: the Rams when they got upset by the Patriots, there
- 18:16Speaker 1: were fourteen point underdog the Patriots. When the Giants upset
- 18:19Speaker 1: the Patriots, I know they're at least eleven or thirteen
- 18:22Speaker 1: point underdog or something like that. So that's one of
- 18:24Speaker 1: those what I'm saying, Yeah, that's great, you had a
- 18:27Speaker 1: thirteen point cover, so you had a zero sweat in
- 18:29Speaker 1: that game, but you're not making the money. Everything is
- 18:32Speaker 1: gonna be a sweat regardless. So just take that money
- 18:34Speaker 1: line on these dogs when you really do believe in
- 18:36Speaker 1: the dogs. That's what I'm trying to instill with people.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Because last year I had the Chiefs. They were the
- 18:39Speaker 1: favorite last year, so I didn't take the dogs. So
- 18:42Speaker 1: when I took the Chiefs last year, I took the
- 18:44Speaker 1: alternative line, and I took the minus two. Neither of
- 18:46Speaker 1: two came into play the one by eleven. So that's
- 18:49Speaker 1: what I'm trying to say is over the years, if
- 18:51Speaker 1: you do what I'm talking about, even when you lose,
- 18:54Speaker 1: you're gonna win long term because you're getting a good
- 18:56Speaker 1: plus value on these numbers. The key is is you're
- 19:01Speaker 1: playing for the long haul. You're not just playing for
- 19:03Speaker 1: the one game like this is what you do. You're
- 19:06Speaker 1: doing it for a while. Uh, And people need to
- 19:09Speaker 1: sort of think about think about that horizon when they're betting.
- 19:13Speaker 1: It's not just betting this one game and what you
- 19:16Speaker 1: win in this one game. It's what you're winning over
- 19:19Speaker 1: the course of a very long period of time. As
- 19:24Speaker 1: they talked about talked about over one and a half
- 19:27Speaker 1: field goals, almost you had one taken off the board. Uh,
- 19:31Speaker 1: you came back and got one in the last few minutes.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Over four and a half sacks. We did not get
- 19:37Speaker 1: Buck's money line. We got, uh, specially second half higher scoring.
- 19:42Speaker 1: We talked about that, we did not get a two
- 19:44Speaker 1: point conversion. Just weren't a lot of it, wasn't a need,
- 19:47Speaker 1: weren't any opportunities. Now the Chiefs side, they were the
- 19:50Speaker 1: only ones are in the spot we need the Chiefs
- 19:52Speaker 1: to score, and I really honestly thought they're gonna have
- 19:55Speaker 1: at least two touch ones in that second half. I
- 19:57Speaker 1: was really stunned. They finished the second half of just
- 20:00Speaker 1: three points. So we just never had the opportunity to
- 20:02Speaker 1: have a team, either team go for two great season.
- 20:11Speaker 1: It was a good season. It's one of those two
- 20:13Speaker 1: where people, I'm sorry man about the playoffs, but at
- 20:17Speaker 1: the same time, it was what is the eleven games
- 20:20Speaker 1: we had in the playoffs during the season, we have
- 20:23Speaker 1: sixteen a week So that's what I try to break
- 20:25Speaker 1: down to people. You're just going off such a small sample.
- 20:29Speaker 1: That's why I know people like the bet more in
- 20:31Speaker 1: the playoffs, but you're doing more damage because you're lessening
- 20:34Speaker 1: your value and you're going from sixteen games on a
- 20:36Speaker 1: Sunday to a really small sample each weekend. The bet
- 20:41Speaker 1: off of so on that happy we get in the
- 20:43Speaker 1: super Bowl and a good note because I know that's
- 20:45Speaker 1: what people really care about, and especially like my clients,
- 20:49Speaker 1: that's that's all they want to do. They want to
- 20:51Speaker 1: be at the party being the smartest guy there because
- 20:53Speaker 1: they had a big bet on what every team was
- 20:55Speaker 1: the Super Bowl. So we've had a nice run now
- 20:56Speaker 1: two years in a row. Buddy had the chief last year,
- 20:59Speaker 1: had the books this year. Can't. Can't complain winning back
- 21:01Speaker 1: to back Super Bowls. Well, guess what it's time to
- 21:05Speaker 1: talk about next year. Let this be the first moment
- 21:11Speaker 1: that we are already turning the calendar over too. Super Bowl.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's like three dred and sixty two
- 21:22Speaker 1: days away. Time to start planning. Uh. I want to
- 21:26Speaker 1: start with this one because look, this was the question
- 21:30Speaker 1: that most of you asked. And we're gonna get to
- 21:32Speaker 1: to a few questions, but the universal question was Super
- 21:38Speaker 1: Bowl future Rookie of the Year. When listener sent in
- 21:42Speaker 1: and I think you'll like this, Jalen hurts to one
- 21:46Speaker 1: to win m VP. Let's start with Super Bowl futures.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Let me read off the top ten where we will
- 21:54Speaker 1: find no value, because then we will dip into the
- 21:57Speaker 1: second ten, which is where we find the value. If
- 22:01Speaker 1: not more Chiefs. They are five and a half to one,
- 22:07Speaker 1: the Packers nine to one, the Bucks nine to one,
- 22:13Speaker 1: the Ravens Interesting, Interesting twelve to one, the Bills twelve
- 22:19Speaker 1: to one, Rams twelve to one, and then the final
- 22:24Speaker 1: two and the teams forty nine or fourteen to one,
- 22:27Speaker 1: st seventeen to one, any of those appealing to you, No,
- 22:32Speaker 1: stay and stay away from that. Ravens one. We need
- 22:34Speaker 1: to see what the deals with their offensive line next
- 22:36Speaker 1: year because if a marketing or protection I don't see
- 22:40Speaker 1: him one in these playoff games. We saw it happen
- 22:42Speaker 1: against the Bills, So we gotta wait and see what
- 22:45Speaker 1: the deals with the line of the Ravens before I
- 22:46Speaker 1: touch that. But with these ones, we can break it down.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I don't do anything unless it's above plus two thousand.
- 22:52Speaker 1: At this point, I'm I'm just looking for a long,
- 22:55Speaker 1: long odds because if you're gonna tie your money up
- 22:58Speaker 1: right now, you want to do it on something that's
- 23:01Speaker 1: not paying you back at a crazy amount, like of
- 23:04Speaker 1: course the pack the Packers and the Buccaneers. That's good value.
- 23:07Speaker 1: These are two teams we know they're gonna probably be
- 23:09Speaker 1: back in the exact spot there in last year, but
- 23:12Speaker 1: the value is not there where you want to take.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Like the Buccaneers. They were doing kind of bad in
- 23:16Speaker 1: the middle of the season. I think they lost two
- 23:18Speaker 1: in a row. That's when you take a buck's futures,
- 23:21Speaker 1: you don't take it right now when there is no
- 23:23Speaker 1: value after they just want to Super Bowl. So exactly
- 23:25Speaker 1: we can dive in the next column because there's no
- 23:28Speaker 1: value in that one. Uh, you're right. The Bucks were
- 23:31Speaker 1: at seven and five and then they want on a tear. Uh.
- 23:34Speaker 1: The next round, Browns one, Seahawks Miami to one, Indeed
- 23:48Speaker 1: to one, Chargers one, Titans one, Cowboys, Patriots and Steelers
- 23:57Speaker 1: each at thirty one. Now we're getting interesting. Yeah, I'm
- 24:02Speaker 1: so enticed by the Browns, but I know that's gonna
- 24:05Speaker 1: be a trendy pick. And this is the fact they
- 24:08Speaker 1: have such a die hard fan base. I just don't
- 24:11Speaker 1: think there's gonna be value in the Browns futures because
- 24:14Speaker 1: they're just it's just gonna be bent down too much.
- 24:17Speaker 1: For if this was maybe plus three thousand, I'd be
- 24:21Speaker 1: a little more intrigued, because you just have to remember
- 24:23Speaker 1: they still have the Ravens and there's in their division.
- 24:26Speaker 1: It's gonna be hard for them win that division at
- 24:28Speaker 1: that number. I don't see a lot of value in
- 24:30Speaker 1: betting on them, but win the division. But the mid
- 24:33Speaker 1: tier one. I like the fact that the Colts and
- 24:36Speaker 1: the Dolphins are both two teams that they have their
- 24:39Speaker 1: pieces in place to go get a quarterback like a
- 24:41Speaker 1: DeShawn Watson. Well, we've senior with the Dolphins is the
- 24:44Speaker 1: Dolphins have cap space. Who knows to a the first
- 24:48Speaker 1: round pick that Houston gave to them and another first
- 24:51Speaker 1: round pick for Deshaun Watson, and then they pick up
- 24:53Speaker 1: Allen Robinson in free agency. That's a pretty good offense
- 24:56Speaker 1: with already a great defense. So that Dolphins wins a
- 24:59Speaker 1: little and icing and the Colts same situation. Frank reich
- 25:05Speaker 1: Ton of money, great defense, great offensive line, good good
- 25:09Speaker 1: players at all the different skill positions and talks. Now
- 25:13Speaker 1: the Eagles get Carson Wentz. And I know you don't
- 25:16Speaker 1: like Carson. You think he's bad. But I've seen enough
- 25:20Speaker 1: tape on this guy that I know he has it
- 25:22Speaker 1: in him to be a good quarterback that can win games.
- 25:24Speaker 1: And if he has a great offensive line he's protecting
- 25:26Speaker 1: and can stay healthy, he does well. But I'm scared
- 25:31Speaker 1: of his whole mental makeup. That the Eagles brought in
- 25:36Speaker 1: a quarterback this year and he melted, He fell apart.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Where we saw Aaron Rodgers, his team drafted a quarterback.
- 25:42Speaker 1: He went to the NFC Championship game. That's the kind
- 25:45Speaker 1: of quarterback mental I want. I want so much, pretty
- 25:47Speaker 1: tough and other than the only reason I'm playing this
- 25:52Speaker 1: Colts when it's just the main fact of that team, Carson.
- 25:56Speaker 1: If he can get right, that's crazy good value and
- 25:59Speaker 1: the division. They're the only team we're really scared over
- 26:01Speaker 1: the Titans. And we know what the Titans are. They
- 26:05Speaker 1: got Tannehill, they got Derrick Kennedy, they have a great offense,
- 26:08Speaker 1: but they got a bad defense. So at this value
- 26:12Speaker 1: them and the Titans that they're the same exact value
- 26:14Speaker 1: right now, I just have a hard time seeing the
- 26:17Speaker 1: Titans repeating that division. So I do like the Colts
- 26:20Speaker 1: at this value of plus two thousand, eight hundred deep.
- 26:24Speaker 1: But do you really think Carson Wentz is going to
- 26:27Speaker 1: be the quarterback? If Carson Wentz isn't the quarterback, what
- 26:31Speaker 1: what is this team? Kobe Brissett. I I still think
- 26:37Speaker 1: there's other moves to be made that even if it's
- 26:40Speaker 1: not him, I still think they could they could do
- 26:43Speaker 1: something to get a quarterback in there. I'm I'm not
- 26:47Speaker 1: on down, I'm not all in on just the fact
- 26:49Speaker 1: that they're gonna get Wentz. But it honestly does feel
- 26:53Speaker 1: like it makes more sense where the Bears that trade everything,
- 26:56Speaker 1: they're thrown out there, it doesn't make sense. I don't
- 26:59Speaker 1: know why they would bring Nick Foles back here. We
- 27:01Speaker 1: just had a QB controversy. You think it's healthy to
- 27:04Speaker 1: bring back defending to the guy who wanted Super Bowl
- 27:07Speaker 1: for us to a city that we're not sure about her.
- 27:09Speaker 1: It's I think he's got the tools and he could
- 27:11Speaker 1: be a great quarterback. But if we're seven weeks in
- 27:14Speaker 1: and this kid is not producing, people are gonna be
- 27:16Speaker 1: calling for Nick Foles. How's that healthy to a second
- 27:18Speaker 1: year quarterback? So I I just don't see the Bears
- 27:22Speaker 1: rumors really being true. And I think the Colt rumors
- 27:24Speaker 1: that just makes more sense on paper, and for both
- 27:27Speaker 1: teams that the Eagles No, Frank right, And I think
- 27:31Speaker 1: that we both of us have a need. We need
- 27:32Speaker 1: to get rid of Carson once they need a quarterback.
- 27:35Speaker 1: It just feels like that matches up more likely than
- 27:37Speaker 1: any other team for Carson. So it's interesting to me.
- 27:41Speaker 1: The Dolphins to me, are the team that you're playing
- 27:44Speaker 1: like you played the Bucks last year, where you think
- 27:47Speaker 1: there's a good opportunity for them to upgrade significantly in
- 27:51Speaker 1: the one area that can make a real difference for them,
- 27:54Speaker 1: which is quarterback. I totally get it. Uh, we're not
- 27:58Speaker 1: talking about the Seahaw because that division is going to
- 28:01Speaker 1: be so hard it's gonna be hard for them to
- 28:02Speaker 1: get out of it. Um. We talked about the Colts
- 28:07Speaker 1: Chargers to meet Chargers and Cowboys are two of them?
- 28:12Speaker 1: More Chargers Cowboys and Patriots Charger one Cowboys thirty two one,
- 28:19Speaker 1: Patriots thirty two one. Cowboys will have Dak Patriots. I'm
- 28:23Speaker 1: banking or if they make a trade for Jimmy g
- 28:26Speaker 1: uh And and UM Chargers new coach Derwin James back
- 28:34Speaker 1: uh bossa playing healthy like we've seen what happened with
- 28:39Speaker 1: Justin Herbert, Like that is a team that can turn
- 28:43Speaker 1: it up with a lot of weapons if they get
- 28:45Speaker 1: just the people they already have, healthy on defense and
- 28:49Speaker 1: a better coach. No value in the Chargers That numbers
- 28:52Speaker 1: should be better. I don't know why it's this low.
- 28:55Speaker 1: May because the public art thinking exactly what you're thinking.
- 28:58Speaker 1: That all like Herbert looked incredib last year. New coach,
- 29:02Speaker 1: new offense that will work to his benefit. It could,
- 29:06Speaker 1: but we'll keep going on the list. Year. I got
- 29:09Speaker 1: other teams that like better, but the Cowboys was the
- 29:12Speaker 1: same exact thing the NFC East. I don't see this
- 29:15Speaker 1: team being that much better than any other team the
- 29:17Speaker 1: NFC eats. We saw the Cowboys last year before Dad
- 29:20Speaker 1: got hurt. They weren't good. They were not a good
- 29:22Speaker 1: team they had. If they didn't have that flute comeback
- 29:24Speaker 1: win against Atlanta, they would have started the year one
- 29:26Speaker 1: in five. So I'm not buying the Cowboys. Their price
- 29:30Speaker 1: is not there either. The public has already bet that down.
- 29:34Speaker 1: And the Patriots I love. I love that they have
- 29:39Speaker 1: all this stuff for annim where they have a bunch
- 29:41Speaker 1: of money. In a year the teams are gonna be
- 29:43Speaker 1: strapped for cash because the cap has come down, and
- 29:46Speaker 1: the Patriots actually have money, and they have a bunch
- 29:48Speaker 1: of guys coming back from COVID. But like we talked about,
- 29:52Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know the avenue is with
- 29:54Speaker 1: them with a quarterback. I can't see Belichick shipping off
- 29:57Speaker 1: a bunch of first round picks for a quarterback. He's
- 29:59Speaker 1: never really been that kind of guy. Maybe they do
- 30:01Speaker 1: something to draft, but that's one of those. I'd wait
- 30:04Speaker 1: on that because it's not that great value anyway for
- 30:06Speaker 1: that team, just because already talked about I like the Dolphins,
- 30:10Speaker 1: we all obviously both like the Bills. That's just a
- 30:12Speaker 1: tough division. At that number, I don't I just don't
- 30:14Speaker 1: see the value there. The Patriots vikings forty to one.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Here's what I know you're gonna like, oh my god,
- 30:21Speaker 1: I still you know, like I know you like this.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Panthers forty five to one, Cardinals fifty one, Falcons fifty
- 30:31Speaker 1: to one, Bears fifty one, Raiders one, Eagles one. So
- 30:42Speaker 1: I love the Panthers, but they were at eighty to
- 30:44Speaker 1: one before the Watson news kind of leaked that they
- 30:47Speaker 1: were trying to go after Stafford and Watson. I think
- 30:49Speaker 1: the bookmakers go, Okay, this team might be a player,
- 30:52Speaker 1: we might build a liable eighty one. So they dropped
- 30:54Speaker 1: it down to forty to one. Now it's back up
- 30:56Speaker 1: to one. It's it's all right, but I feel like
- 30:59Speaker 1: we're kind of missed the value one because they're no
- 31:02Speaker 1: sure thing to get Watson. They have moves that can
- 31:05Speaker 1: make to get them, but a team I really feel
- 31:08Speaker 1: like he's gonna have a real chance here again Watson
- 31:11Speaker 1: that people aren't talking about enough for the Raiders. So
- 31:15Speaker 1: the Raiders have a couple of first round picks they
- 31:18Speaker 1: can give up and Derek Derek Carr to Houston. We
- 31:21Speaker 1: saw the Raiders go tote toe last year the Chiefs.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I like. I like that upside at five thousand uh
- 31:29Speaker 1: one because I don't know, man, that Raiders team. They're
- 31:33Speaker 1: gonna have a pack stadium next year if if they're
- 31:36Speaker 1: allowed to, and that's a big home field advantage. And
- 31:40Speaker 1: I know Gruden's wilted here the last two years. At
- 31:43Speaker 1: the end of the season, his teams have just fallen apart.
- 31:47Speaker 1: But I've seen it on offense. They have the weapons,
- 31:49Speaker 1: they have all these weapons around their car. That team
- 31:51Speaker 1: can put up points. And if you're getting Watson in there, man,
- 31:55Speaker 1: that that could be a really special team. So had
- 32:00Speaker 1: that whole little bunch there, I would say they're my favorite.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I like the Raiders idea, the Raiders at fifty one
- 32:05Speaker 1: fields bucks esque. So let's get down to that last
- 32:08Speaker 1: bracket here. Broncos one, No, they already fooled me last year.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Thanks Simon the football team one. I also noticed you
- 32:18Speaker 1: passed over the Cardinals at fifty one when we liked
- 32:20Speaker 1: them last year at um any comment there by the way, yeah, man,
- 32:26Speaker 1: Mitchell knows why. Cliff Kinsbury, Man, I'm not I'm not
- 32:28Speaker 1: putting any more futures on Cliff Kinsbury. I'm done with
- 32:31Speaker 1: that Guy's good point. Cliff Kingsbury. Washington football team six one.
- 32:38Speaker 1: The Bengals look like the Giants sixty five, the Jets
- 32:45Speaker 1: sixty six to one. Actually those are all six. The
- 32:49Speaker 1: Jags are at eighty, the Lions and Texans at a hundred.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Let's talk about the Washington Let's talk about it. We
- 33:00Speaker 1: love them, we love him, and I feel like when
- 33:02Speaker 1: I go through the playoffs there, of all the teams,
- 33:06Speaker 1: they really gave the most problems to the Buccaneers. That
- 33:08Speaker 1: front four. Really they really got to Tom. I know
- 33:12Speaker 1: that he had a good, pretty good game against them,
- 33:14Speaker 1: but that's a playoff Tom. I mean, we know we
- 33:17Speaker 1: just saw what he did in this playoffs. But this
- 33:20Speaker 1: team feels like that's all they're missing as a quarterback,
- 33:22Speaker 1: and it doesn't have to be Watson for them. I
- 33:25Speaker 1: feel like if they can just get a guy just
- 33:26Speaker 1: like Alex Smith that can control the clock, protect the ball,
- 33:32Speaker 1: and just not put the team in bad positions. That's
- 33:34Speaker 1: a real, real sleeper team with that defense. So at
- 33:39Speaker 1: plus six thousand, no real clear cut team in that division.
- 33:42Speaker 1: That's great. I do I like. I like that team.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Second year of the Washington football team. I know a
- 33:48Speaker 1: lot of people like the Giants, but I just I
- 33:51Speaker 1: don't believe in Daniel Jones, so I'm just not gonna
- 33:54Speaker 1: bank on them. Then the next year were for that
- 33:56Speaker 1: division for the best value, I think the Washington football
- 33:59Speaker 1: teams to pull future, that's really good value. I totally
- 34:02Speaker 1: agree with you, and I'm so glad you said, because
- 34:05Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, I never would have thought of
- 34:07Speaker 1: it unless you did. Never, I never would have thought
- 34:10Speaker 1: of it. That's what I'm here for. But I just
- 34:14Speaker 1: that's the same thing where we talked about the same
- 34:16Speaker 1: exact spot we were telling about the Buccaneers, is that
- 34:19Speaker 1: the Buccaneers are a team that they were nine and
- 34:21Speaker 1: seven last year, and even though Winson through thirty interceptions,
- 34:24Speaker 1: and I thought at fifty one, at fifty five to one,
- 34:27Speaker 1: just to make the playoffs, if they can get in,
- 34:30Speaker 1: that's great odds to have for super futures. That was
- 34:33Speaker 1: only my logic last year. Taking it where it's same
- 34:35Speaker 1: thing this year. I'm looking at teams, where can we
- 34:37Speaker 1: see an avenue of these teams making the playoffs and
- 34:40Speaker 1: that that odds is it worth betting right now? Because
- 34:42Speaker 1: this is a long time to have your money locked
- 34:44Speaker 1: up and on these teams giving it out. I'm giving out.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I feel comfortable putting the investment in them right now
- 34:50Speaker 1: because I could see either of these teams making the playoffs. Like,
- 34:53Speaker 1: there's all avenues for these teams to make the playoffs
- 34:56Speaker 1: next year, alright, So so that's where we're gonna sort
- 35:00Speaker 1: of think about it. We like the Raiders in the
- 35:03Speaker 1: fifty to one range, We like the Washington Football team
- 35:08Speaker 1: uh in about sixty to one range, and there are
- 35:11Speaker 1: a couple of other teams that we liked, specifically the
- 35:14Speaker 1: Browns and the Panthers, but we think the value has
- 35:17Speaker 1: been wrung out of those teams. Well, update obviously, because
- 35:23Speaker 1: we're gonna keep doing shows and everything. We're gonna keep
- 35:26Speaker 1: updating that because it's the free agency This year is
- 35:30Speaker 1: going to be absolutely crazy. I mean, the QB movement
- 35:34Speaker 1: we're gonna see, especially ify they're going on the drafts.
- 35:36Speaker 1: We have five teams taking quarterbacks in the first round.
- 35:39Speaker 1: So it's definitely gonna be a lot going on this offseason. Yeah,
- 35:44Speaker 1: it's gonna be crazy, and we'll keep talking about it.
- 35:46Speaker 1: We got free agency, we got drafted, like a whole
- 35:48Speaker 1: bunch of things. Simon honey Bucket Hero at honey Bucket Hero,
- 35:57Speaker 1: I would like to know how do you learn to
- 36:00Speaker 1: old the models like the ones you Stucky Raybon and
- 36:03Speaker 1: the pros use. Um. I don't know what they use.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I'll be honest. Um, what I can say for myself
- 36:14Speaker 1: is I kind of got lucky. I basically went on Reddit.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Guys are on there and they're posting their own algorithm
- 36:21Speaker 1: and things they used to use for betting. So when
- 36:23Speaker 1: I started out, I pretty much just use an Excel spreadsheet. Um,
- 36:28Speaker 1: if you have the money, you really want to do
- 36:30Speaker 1: it right, you can pay. You can pay for people's
- 36:32Speaker 1: models and then just build it yourself a tweak it
- 36:35Speaker 1: as you go along with it. There's websites out there,
- 36:38Speaker 1: and if you're lazy, you can just use you guys.
- 36:41Speaker 1: You guys have bet labs. You have plenty of stuff
- 36:43Speaker 1: that's giving out data and numbers that it's pretty much
- 36:45Speaker 1: the in thing I'm doing. They have their own models,
- 36:47Speaker 1: and you can go up their models. And it's not
- 36:51Speaker 1: saying that, um, you should trust it, but you should
- 36:56Speaker 1: try to use their model for when it lines up
- 36:58Speaker 1: with you. Like if you're on the same side as them,
- 37:00Speaker 1: and the numbers you're using our match up with, there's
- 37:03Speaker 1: you can kind of use that for free. Well, I
- 37:06Speaker 1: know it costs money, but these other sites, they're gonna
- 37:09Speaker 1: cost you a little bit. They're gonna cost a decent
- 37:11Speaker 1: amount of money to use. UM. People put a lot
- 37:14Speaker 1: of time and like myself, I mean every week, it
- 37:18Speaker 1: might be forty hours during the season that I'm literally
- 37:21Speaker 1: just plugging in numbers off other websites because it's not
- 37:24Speaker 1: like I can just copy and paste everything, like you
- 37:26Speaker 1: have to do all this stuff manually. So I would say,
- 37:29Speaker 1: if you're really into it, there's plenty of things you
- 37:31Speaker 1: can go about finding to build your own model. But
- 37:33Speaker 1: I would say unless you're really committed, it's it's time consuming.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Like I put in a lot of time into it, UM,
- 37:44Speaker 1: so it's hard to say. I would say start with Excel.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Start with Excel, because that's gonna be the easiest thing
- 37:50Speaker 1: to do with breaking down the numbers you're pulling out.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I appreciate you being a professional and plugging the labs
- 38:01Speaker 1: products at Action Network. That is good of you. Uh.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Is Simon really on a side for every single spread
- 38:12Speaker 1: and total for all two hundred and fifty six games
- 38:16Speaker 1: in a regular season Coyote Peterson, Oh yeah, yeah, I
- 38:23Speaker 1: mean it's uh, that's that's I told you. Like I,
- 38:28Speaker 1: I only have a fine, fine amount of time to
- 38:30Speaker 1: make money, And the biggest thing for me is if
- 38:35Speaker 1: if I have a game, I simply don't like it.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Like I remember, we hit a point where I hated
- 38:39Speaker 1: the Jets. It might have been Week five or six.
- 38:42Speaker 1: I just hated them. And even if my system liked them, man,
- 38:46Speaker 1: I was putting maybe just two hundred tops on whatever
- 38:50Speaker 1: the spread was off the Jets if I had to
- 38:52Speaker 1: bet it. But I would say normally I have action
- 38:56Speaker 1: on every single game, every single total. Um, it's probably
- 39:02Speaker 1: two to three games a week that I'm like betting
- 39:04Speaker 1: heavy on, and then certain weeks there will be one
- 39:06Speaker 1: game where I'm like really really betting heavy on. But yeah,
- 39:10Speaker 1: I'll have action on every game just because if you
- 39:13Speaker 1: look at the numbers, there's always value. People Like I know,
- 39:16Speaker 1: I saw people not picking the super Bowl because they
- 39:18Speaker 1: didn't think there's value. There's always value, Like, don't be fooled,
- 39:21Speaker 1: there's always value in the game. It's more about just
- 39:24Speaker 1: committing to what you think. So I wouldn't advise it.
- 39:28Speaker 1: I would say for the people starting, how do what
- 39:31Speaker 1: means we're doing? Pick your five best every week. That's
- 39:33Speaker 1: just easier to track and it's easier to be profit
- 39:36Speaker 1: from that. When you're bett in every game, it's harder
- 39:38Speaker 1: to make a profit. And by the way, you can
- 39:42Speaker 1: track those in the action that we're at boom all right,
- 39:46Speaker 1: Uh that was our questions for this week. I had
- 39:49Speaker 1: a question to you, Are you a top? Are you
- 39:51Speaker 1: a top bunk or you a bottom bunk in a
- 39:53Speaker 1: bunk bed? I I would say I would go top bunk. Wow,
- 40:07Speaker 1: Chad's a power top everyone. Let that. Let the record
- 40:10Speaker 1: show chat is a power top. That's funny because I'm
- 40:13Speaker 1: a power bottom. So that's why we work well together.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Somehow I feel like you're finding a way to make
- 40:20Speaker 1: fun of me with this, and I don't know what
- 40:23Speaker 1: it is. That's why I love you, man. I loved
- 40:25Speaker 1: how long it took you to think too, like that
- 40:27Speaker 1: was that really broke your brain there for a second.
- 40:30Speaker 1: It did it did? Okay. The winner of last week's
- 40:36Speaker 1: Phrase that Pays contest is Elvero Ibanyes. Elvero, please reach
- 40:42Speaker 1: out to Matt dot Mitchell at Action at work dot
- 40:44Speaker 1: com for your four hundred and forty dollar prize. Remember,
- 40:48Speaker 1: I was awarding ten dollars for every game, every bet
- 40:53Speaker 1: that we wanted, while we only went two and three
- 40:57Speaker 1: in the props that we're talking about today in the
- 41:00Speaker 1: app because I couldn't put in all the props that
- 41:02Speaker 1: we liked in the app. I went with Leonard four
- 41:06Speaker 1: Net over three and a half receptions and over forty
- 41:09Speaker 1: and a half yards the Bucks money line, and I
- 41:13Speaker 1: went with Patrick Mahomes over forty one and a half
- 41:17Speaker 1: past attempts those all one. I also went with Patrick
- 41:21Speaker 1: Mahomes under nineteen and a half rushing yards that lost
- 41:24Speaker 1: in the first quarter. So Alvero Ebanyes, who said Simon
- 41:28Speaker 1: says it bet the big game because it's the last
- 41:32Speaker 1: time we'll be able to make a bank off at
- 41:36Speaker 1: the Favorite Pods Advice for six months, and you just
- 41:41Speaker 1: made some bank buddy, four hundred and forty dollars. Alvera
- 41:46Speaker 1: ebony Is and don't worry, my friend. We will have
- 41:50Speaker 1: draft props so the NFL it never stops. We'll make
