- 0:09Speaker 2: Tuesday afternoon. And good afternoon, Ron Verb, NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 0:14Speaker 2: After a couple days off, off Friday and Monday, and
- 0:20Speaker 2: back in the saddle again here on a Tuesday. It's
- 0:22Speaker 2: already August. August 4th already. What is it, 88 degrees?
- 0:26Speaker 2: Pleasant day out there today. 88 degrees, August 4th, Tuesday.
- 0:30Speaker 2: We're on Verb News Radio, 570 WQEN. Pleasure to be
- 0:33Speaker 2: with you here this afternoon. Have they changed the phone numbers? No,
- 0:37Speaker 2: they still remain the same.
- 0:38Speaker 3: 330-729-9977.
- 0:38Speaker 4: 330-729-9977. 330-729-9977.
- 0:38Speaker 2: We'll get you through to us. here on News Radio
- 0:51Speaker 2: 570 WKN, and we can conversate. Would you like to conversate?
- 0:55Speaker 2: I understand this is a first-time caller on the end
- 0:57Speaker 2: of my line.
- 0:57Speaker 5: Hello?
- 0:58Speaker 6: Ronald.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Oh, first-time caller, yes.
- 1:01Speaker 6: First-time caller.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Long-time listener.
- 1:03Speaker 6: Long-time listener. Do I get a bell?
- 1:07Speaker 2: Wait a minute. You know, normally, yes, but sometimes a
- 1:10Speaker 2: cleaning lady moves it here in the studio and I
- 1:12Speaker 2: can never find it. Oh, first-time caller, long-time listener. I'll
- 1:18Speaker 2: call you Ted the Conservative. How's that sound?
- 1:20Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:21Speaker 6: That sounds pretty good. That sounds pretty good. I know
- 1:24Speaker 6: it's probably hard for you getting readjusted there today. You've
- 1:27Speaker 6: been gone, and I don't think you realize the effect
- 1:30Speaker 6: that has on our lives. I mean, it's total disruption
- 1:33Speaker 6: when you're not on the air.
- 1:35Speaker 2: I tell you, total disruption. Okay, I'll go with that. No,
- 1:40Speaker 2: it was nice.
- 1:41Speaker 6: I mean, I was driving home from New Jersey Friday.
- 1:43Speaker 6: I put the radio on thinking, okay, I'm going to
- 1:46Speaker 6: get three hours out of Ron, and it'll get me
- 1:48Speaker 6: halfway home. Next thing I know, Sean Hannity comes on.
- 1:51Speaker 6: I'm like, oh, no. What are we going to do?
- 1:55Speaker 6: And then yesterday we were left with a big void.
- 1:58Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:59Speaker 6: And there wasn't baseball on, so I had to make do.
- 2:03Speaker 6: It was difficult. I'm sure others are struggling, you know,
- 2:06Speaker 6: having the same struggle. So we're glad to have you back.
- 2:10Speaker 6: It's the heat of election season now. We're 90 days
- 2:14Speaker 6: away probably. What do you think? I don't know, 90 days,
- 2:16Speaker 6: give or take?
- 2:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so. August, September, October, November.
- 2:24Speaker 6: And, you know, I remember a time when local politics
- 2:28Speaker 6: were a big issue on WKBN radio. We sometimes get
- 2:31Speaker 6: distracted with the noise coming out of Columbus. So I'll
- 2:35Speaker 6: take this quick minute. You know, it is election season.
- 2:39Speaker 6: And you know what they say, all politics are local.
- 2:41Speaker 6: Local constituents tend to care more about the things that
- 2:44Speaker 6: affect them directly. What is that? Property taxes? Police?
- 2:48Speaker 2: Fire?
- 2:49Speaker 6: Schools? communities, right? Those are all the things that matter.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:54Speaker 6: And not only that, but voting for people who think
- 2:58Speaker 6: we know best, the voter, not that they know best
- 3:01Speaker 6: how to spend our money.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yes.
- 3:03Speaker 6: And it just so happens tonight that Christine Oliver, Republican
- 3:08Speaker 6: candidate for Mahoning County Commissioner, is going to have a
- 3:12Speaker 6: meet and greet at the Republican headquarters at 630. It's
- 3:15Speaker 6: not a fundraiser. You don't have to worry about going
- 3:17Speaker 6: there and giving them your money. But you can show up.
- 3:20Speaker 6: You can meet them. You can talk to the candidate.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Maybe G2, if he's in the area, would stop by.
- 3:27Speaker 6: Maybe we can get Rich out there since Rich was
- 3:29Speaker 6: really misinformed in the last primary. He voted for the
- 3:33Speaker 6: guy that wanted to raise taxes. He voted for the
- 3:36Speaker 6: guy that thought he knew best how to spend Rich's money. Yes, yes.
- 3:39Speaker 6: That still was a surprise to me.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Yes.
- 3:41Speaker 6: I know JJ's turned a loon. Maybe he can come
- 3:45Speaker 6: out and meet Christine tonight.
- 3:47Speaker 2: J.J. the Trumpster. Yeah, now that he's switched from J.J.
- 3:50Speaker 2: the liberal.
- 3:51Speaker 6: Yeah, and he's famous. I saw him on TV. He's
- 3:54Speaker 6: famous now. I don't know if J.J.
- 3:55Speaker 9: Knows that.
- 3:56Speaker 2: That was not him. I'm telling you. I've done... That
- 3:58Speaker 2: was not him.
- 4:00Speaker 6: That was not him?
- 4:01Speaker 7: No.
- 4:01Speaker 6: Okay. It sounded like him. It sounded like when he was... No, no, no.
- 4:06Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 4:07Speaker 2: I can tell you. I can... I visually can identify J.J. J.J., the... Trumpster, formerly..
- 4:13Speaker 6: That guy was too big to be J.J., huh? Yeah.
- 4:16Speaker 4: J.J.
- 4:16Speaker 2: 's more like... Yeah, J.J. the liberal. Let's see. J.J.
- 4:20Speaker 2: the Trumpster, formerly known as J.J. the liberal. Yeah, he's
- 4:23Speaker 2: like Prince. I got to do the whole name.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Okay.
- 4:26Speaker 6: It's tough. Okay, well, you know, he's turning a new leaf.
- 4:29Speaker 6: I'm sure he's real happy today with things that are
- 4:31Speaker 6: going on in the world. I don't know. Probably not.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but how come... I just went by my gas station,
- 4:37Speaker 2: and it's either 415 or 420. I got sticker shock.
- 4:42Speaker 4: Boy, oh, boy.
- 4:43Speaker 6: I've got to get you off of that subject. That's
- 4:48Speaker 6: my goal.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I can't.
- 4:49Speaker 6: You're looking at that glass like it's half empty.
- 4:54Speaker 2: But when I stop at the light here as I
- 4:58Speaker 2: come to the studio, South Avenue and 224, there's the
- 5:03Speaker 2: gas station. And, of course, it's a long light, so
- 5:05Speaker 2: I look at the price. So I can tell you,
- 5:07Speaker 2: I think it's $ 4. 15 the price, but I've seen it
- 5:10Speaker 2: at other gas stations at $ 4. 20 as I'm driving here
- 5:13Speaker 2: into our Boardman Studios. And I just shake my head
- 5:17Speaker 2: and I say, okay, that's not good. I'm not happy
- 5:21Speaker 2: about that.
- 5:22Speaker 10: I agree.
- 5:25Speaker 6: But sometimes, you know, we have to do things and
- 5:28Speaker 6: there's a price tag associated with that. I wasn't going
- 5:31Speaker 6: to go into that today, but I'll inform you of
- 5:33Speaker 6: some things I learned over the last week. When you're raw.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yes.
- 5:38Speaker 6: I did want to talk about local issues.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Because I think that's important. We'll start with the local
- 5:45Speaker 2: issues because I think there are many important local issues
- 5:48Speaker 2: and candidates that are coming up. And as I say,
- 5:51Speaker 2: I'm not a very optimistic guy on a lot of
- 5:54Speaker 2: local stuff because we have got to get away from this.
- 5:58Speaker 2: I've said it before I left. I said, can you
- 6:00Speaker 2: imagine living in Canfield? If you're living in Canfield, once again,
- 6:03Speaker 2: and you're facing this monumental school levy and the MRDD levy.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I mean, both of them significant levies. If one passes,
- 6:12Speaker 2: it sucks. If both of them pass, it really sucks.
- 6:16Speaker 2: If you're in Canfield. I mean, if both of those
- 6:19Speaker 2: would pass, what a burden it would put on the taxpayers,
- 6:23Speaker 2: certainly in Canfield. Two huge levies in addition to the reappraisals.
- 6:29Speaker 2: I mean, and I feel like I know how.
- 6:31Speaker 6: Many boards have voted not to take these increases at
- 6:34Speaker 6: which has been thought.
- 6:35Speaker 2: I don't know. We'll have to check with him. But
- 6:38Speaker 2: but I look at this and I say to myself,
- 6:40Speaker 2: do you think. Any of these people know the damage
- 6:44Speaker 2: that they're doing? And I answer my own questions. I
- 6:47Speaker 2: don't know if you know this, but a lot of
- 6:48Speaker 2: times I talk to myself. Is that a problem? No,
- 6:51Speaker 2: I do the same thing.
- 6:53Speaker 6: I think it's something that married men have to do
- 6:55Speaker 6: in order to maintain our sanity.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yes.
- 6:58Speaker 6: You can only be told no so many times, right?
- 7:01Speaker 6: You can only be told yes. You don't want to
- 7:03Speaker 6: be told, hey, Einstein, so many times.
- 7:04Speaker 8: Yes.
- 7:04Speaker 6: You just finally stop talking to them and you just
- 7:06Speaker 6: talk to yourself and everything works out great.
- 7:08Speaker 2: And I just say..
- 7:09Speaker 6: You're always right.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Do I think that any of these local political figures
- 7:13Speaker 2: get it? My answer is no. I don't think they
- 7:17Speaker 2: get it. Now, I'm going to try... I'm going to
- 7:20Speaker 2: get on the program. Not today. I'll just tip my
- 7:23Speaker 2: hands here because... Uh-oh.
- 7:26Speaker 9: Uh-oh.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Where is it? So many people..
- 7:28Speaker 6: Tipping his cards.
- 7:29Speaker 2: I'm tipping my cards.
- 7:30Speaker 6: I mean..
- 7:32Speaker 2: You come back in a good mood.
- 7:34Speaker 6: You get some rest, and you come back, and you're re-energized.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Well, that's right. I was visiting my daughter in Florida,
- 7:42Speaker 2: so it was very nice.
- 7:43Speaker 6: You went down to Florida, huh?
- 7:46Speaker 2: Yes, I was in the sunshine states. I said, are
- 7:49Speaker 2: you Ron DeSantis? I kept walking around.
- 7:52Speaker 6: Hey, you should have called him and told him, you know,
- 7:57Speaker 6: you could have did a bit for the program. You
- 8:00Speaker 6: could have recorded him.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I'm going to get on. Let me
- 8:04Speaker 2: see here. I'm going to get this plush neck on
- 8:09Speaker 2: because Lake County Commissioner wants to. Retire property taxes for seniors.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I want to talk to him about that. I want
- 8:18Speaker 2: to see what he has to say. Not going to
- 8:19Speaker 2: be today, but I've got to get him back on
- 8:21Speaker 2: the air. Listen, I think it's ridiculous what's happening when
- 8:26Speaker 2: you talk local politics, what's happening in this area with
- 8:30Speaker 2: the re-evaluations and with those two levies if you live
- 8:33Speaker 2: in Canfield. I mean, I hate to say this, I
- 8:35Speaker 2: feel sorry for you folks in Canfield if one or
- 8:38Speaker 2: both of those levies pass. it will significantly alter your
- 8:43Speaker 2: lifestyle because you can't have those two levies pass and
- 8:48Speaker 2: the re-evaluations and not notice it in your household income.
- 8:52Speaker 2: It is absolute insanity. But that's me. What local issues
- 8:56Speaker 2: would you like to discuss?
- 8:57Speaker 6: Well, there's so many things. I agree with you on everything.
- 9:00Speaker 6: But like you said, it's so important for the voter
- 9:02Speaker 6: to be educated. And I'll stick with Christine. We've got
- 9:06Speaker 6: a candidate here– running as a Democrat who thinks that she,
- 9:12Speaker 6: you should never have any of your money to spend.
- 9:14Speaker 6: She knows best how to spend it. And she, I mean, she,
- 9:17Speaker 6: along with your great township trustee over there in Austin town,
- 9:22Speaker 6: went and cried in front of the county commissioners when
- 9:26Speaker 6: they decided to give the people some of their money back.
- 9:29Speaker 6: So we've got a candidate in Christine Oliver who thinks
- 9:32Speaker 6: you know best how to spend your money. She wants
- 9:33Speaker 6: to reduce your taxes. And then we've got this other
- 9:36Speaker 6: woman over here who's become A life who wants to
- 9:39Speaker 6: make a career out of politics. She wants to make
- 9:41Speaker 6: a career out of spending your money.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Right.
- 9:43Speaker 6: And taking your money because, you know, there's never enough.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Well, she's a Democrat. She thinks she's a Democrat. She
- 9:49Speaker 2: thinks everybody's problems are your problems as opposed to, you know,
- 9:54Speaker 2: don't make your problems my problems.
- 9:57Speaker 6: Exactly. So little pivots.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Yes.
- 10:00Speaker 6: There's so much we have to talk about. Little pivot.
- 10:03Speaker 6: Last week, you've been crying for the last two weeks.
- 10:06Speaker 6: Maybe I'll focus on last week. You and Frank had
- 10:08Speaker 6: a little pity party about the stock market, the price
- 10:11Speaker 6: of oil going up. I'm wondering what you think of
- 10:14Speaker 6: the stock market today and the price of oil coming down.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Uh, I have, I, I'm going to tell you when.
- 10:20Speaker 6: It's, when it's good, you're quiet. So we need to
- 10:24Speaker 6: change that. We need you to champion the market when
- 10:26Speaker 6: it's good.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Well, I listen, I gotta be straightforward with you. You
- 10:30Speaker 2: understand that. I mean, I, I always do.
- 10:32Speaker 6: I mean, you are wrong. Right.
- 10:35Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, I want to read something
- 10:36Speaker 2: to you and then I'll be straightforward with.
- 10:39Speaker 6: Because the market is on fire today, and I'm sure
- 10:42Speaker 6: Frank will call and tell us it's just a cloud,
- 10:47Speaker 6: it's just a mirage. But Frank's the same guy that
- 10:49Speaker 6: told us when the market was down 1%, not even 1%,
- 10:51Speaker 6: half the time it was crashing. So I'm not sure
- 10:54Speaker 6: what Frank.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Will make out of this.
- 10:55Speaker 6: I hope he's making lots of money so he can
- 10:58Speaker 6: take care of it.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I haven't read the article yet, but I'm just going
- 11:00Speaker 2: to read you the email I received from someone. America,
- 11:03Speaker 2: it's Wall Street Journal. America is great at creating stock
- 11:06Speaker 2: market bubbles and then shrugging them off. And the guy
- 11:11Speaker 2: who emailed it to me said, the last paragraph in
- 11:13Speaker 2: this excellent article is what we need to worry about
- 11:16Speaker 2: since it could easily be a catalyst for the next
- 11:18Speaker 2: Great Depression. So much money is being borrowed to finance
- 11:22Speaker 2: AI that if AI story doesn't work out perfectly and
- 11:26Speaker 2: a pullback in those stocks happens, you are going to
- 11:29Speaker 2: see a major market losses. Investments financed by large sums
- 11:33Speaker 2: of borrowed money have never ended well. railroads in the 1880s,
- 11:38Speaker 2: entire decade of the 1920s, as Americans bought piles of
- 11:42Speaker 2: stock on margin, dot-com bubble in the 2008 housing crisis,
- 11:48Speaker 2: all built on borrowed money. Problem now is that $ 40
- 11:51Speaker 2: trillion national debt leaves federal governments with almost no financial
- 11:56Speaker 2: dry powder available to buy the country out of the
- 11:58Speaker 2: next big downturn. I honestly think the world is in
- 12:01Speaker 2: for a great financial shock. And it scares the hell
- 12:04Speaker 2: out of me at my age. I'm not going to
- 12:06Speaker 2: tell you who emailed that to me, but it was
- 12:07Speaker 2: emailed to me. And you asked me about the stock
- 12:11Speaker 2: markets and about oil prices. And listen, I hope I'm
- 12:17Speaker 2: wrong and I hope your optimism is correct. I start
- 12:20Speaker 2: with that. I am not optimistic when I look at
- 12:22Speaker 2: the fundamentals of the economy as a whole. And I
- 12:28Speaker 2: say that because just hear me out. I'm a broken record.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Inflation is tremendous out there. The cost of homes, the
- 12:35Speaker 2: cost of buying an automobile or a car, truck, SUV
- 12:39Speaker 2: or leasing, the cost of rent, the cost of insurance, food,
- 12:46Speaker 2: any type of repair you need. I don't care if
- 12:48Speaker 2: it's any type of repair, car repair, furnace repair, roof repair.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Anything that you look at, anywhere you go, you see
- 12:56Speaker 2: double-digit inflation. So when you brag about the economy, I
- 13:00Speaker 2: start with that. I don't believe anybody's income has kept
- 13:03Speaker 2: up with the inflation that's out there. As a matter
- 13:06Speaker 2: of fact, I just saw yesterday, do you know how
- 13:12Speaker 2: many people are laid on property taxes in the state
- 13:14Speaker 2: of Ohio? 570,000 people. What percentage does that represent? I'm
- 13:22Speaker 2: not sure, but the number is way up. And it's
- 13:25Speaker 2: interesting that it continues to go up as the re-evaluations
- 13:29Speaker 2: continue to happen. That's 570,000 people. And I'm trying to
- 13:33Speaker 2: get it broken down by county by county, just so
- 13:37Speaker 2: you can do it. I think in Franklin County, it
- 13:39Speaker 2: was 53,000. It's huge numbers. So property taxes have gone
- 13:47Speaker 2: way up. So you're asking me this and I go
- 13:50Speaker 2: back to say people only got so much money. Here's
- 13:53Speaker 2: how much money you make. And I mean, it's real simple.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Here's how much you make. Everything costs more. So you
- 14:00Speaker 2: either buy less or you go in debt. So you
- 14:04Speaker 2: ask me these questions. And so I take a look
- 14:06Speaker 2: at stuff. People are starting to tap into their 401ks.
- 14:10Speaker 2: We see credit card debts increase. We're seeing credit card
- 14:14Speaker 2: defaults increase. Foreclosures increase. Property tax delinquencies that are taking place.
- 14:23Speaker 2: And energy prices continue to go up. And also, the
- 14:27Speaker 2: futures market means very little to me. Because as I've
- 14:30Speaker 2: learned from these oil experts, I don't want to say
- 14:33Speaker 2: that it's almost a BS number. Because they say, well,
- 14:36Speaker 2: you wait and see if you can buy oil at
- 14:38Speaker 2: that price. Because I'll go with what they're telling me,
- 14:42Speaker 2: that the oil situation is still a mess today and
- 14:46Speaker 2: continues to be a mess as far as shortages are concerned.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Because we tap the reserves. Real shortages. And that's why
- 14:54Speaker 2: you're seeing $ 4. 20 a gallon as we get into August.
- 14:57Speaker 2: And they're saying this could get worse as time goes on,
- 15:01Speaker 2: depending what happens in Iran. And even if that situation
- 15:04Speaker 2: gets settled, more than likely it won't be like it
- 15:07Speaker 2: used to be. So it's going to create issues. So
- 15:12Speaker 2: I'm not optimistic about anything economically speaking. I don't think
- 15:17Speaker 2: there's any good economic signs right now. And the market,
- 15:21Speaker 2: the swings are too extreme. They're way up and they're
- 15:26Speaker 2: way down. And they're driven by where tariffs are on,
- 15:29Speaker 2: tariffs are off. War is on, war is off. Well,
- 15:32Speaker 2: war could be back on. And I think there's a
- 15:35Speaker 2: lot of people making a lot of money off of that.
- 15:37Speaker 2: So I'm not optimistic. I don't think there's anything optimistic
- 15:41Speaker 2: out there, economically speaking. Now, it's your turn after the break. Yeah,
- 15:46Speaker 2: you decipher that. But, I mean, you just got to
- 15:48Speaker 2: think of that. And I think that that applies to
- 15:51Speaker 2: a huge number of people. It's not just the lower
- 15:55Speaker 2: class or the low middle class. I think it applies
- 15:57Speaker 2: to a lot of people. Back with his response and
- 15:59Speaker 2: more of your calls straight ahead. Well, I've told you
- 16:05Speaker 2: many times, not all... 70 WKBN. Back to it, NewsRadio
- 16:10Speaker 2: 570 WKBN. All right, your thoughts, Ted, to conservatives.
- 16:14Speaker 6: My response, well, first-time caller, I have listened for a
- 16:18Speaker 6: long time, so without debating you, I would just simply
- 16:22Speaker 6: say that you have given, you've laid out the perfect
- 16:27Speaker 6: explanation as to why you don't vote for Democrats. And
- 16:32Speaker 6: I'm not saying but... But I'm not saying that. I'm
- 16:35Speaker 6: saying spatially, look at numbers. Go back for the last
- 16:39Speaker 6: eight years, if you want. There's one president that's responsible
- 16:44Speaker 6: for where we're at today. And those effects, when inflation
- 16:49Speaker 6: got to 9%, I felt like I was one of
- 16:52Speaker 6: the only people screaming from the rooftops. All of my
- 16:56Speaker 6: liberal friends told me, oh, it's transitory. It's no big deal.
- 16:58Speaker 6: It won't have an effect on anything. I said, you
- 17:01Speaker 6: guys are nuts. I said it's common sense. This is
- 17:04Speaker 6: going to wreck the economy for the next 20 years,
- 17:07Speaker 6: and that's what we're seeing happen. It's not because of
- 17:10Speaker 6: Donald Trump's policies. Now, CPI is up because we're at war.
- 17:14Speaker 6: You could debate the war. You don't have to like
- 17:16Speaker 6: the war, but we are at war. You know the
- 17:17Speaker 6: old saying, you are where your feet are? We are
- 17:19Speaker 6: at war, okay? So you look at core inflation. Core
- 17:23Speaker 6: inflation is not bad. G2 tried explaining last week, and
- 17:27Speaker 6: you didn't want to hear it, so I'm not going
- 17:28Speaker 6: to try to explain it because I don't want you
- 17:30Speaker 6: yelling at me. You got pretty aggressive with G2, and
- 17:33Speaker 6: I don't want to ruin your day first day back
- 17:35Speaker 6: from Florida. I want you to be happy.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Well, no, don't believe me. I'm happy. But here's the problem.
- 17:42Speaker 6: You..
- 17:44Speaker 2: You can't sit there. We can't undo what happened. I
- 17:48Speaker 2: understand it, but we're adding on top of it. The
- 17:51Speaker 2: problem is you're falling in the same category. No, I'm not.
- 17:55Speaker 6: I'm not saying everything's perfect.
- 17:57Speaker 2: No, but you're falling into denial.
- 17:59Speaker 6: I'm simply saying.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Just hear me for one second. You're falling into denial
- 18:03Speaker 2: like the Democrats when they didn't understand why everybody didn't
- 18:07Speaker 2: think everything was great when it was horrible with Joe Biden.
- 18:11Speaker 2: They didn't get it. They just were in this bubble.
- 18:13Speaker 2: And I don't want to see you falling into that
- 18:15Speaker 2: same bubble because the reality is things are continuing to
- 18:20Speaker 2: go up on top of that. I mean, I would
- 18:23Speaker 2: just say to you, think, think.
- 18:24Speaker 11: Of, think of how much I would never fall into
- 18:26Speaker 11: that bubble.
- 18:27Speaker 6: All right.
- 18:28Speaker 2: But that is solely as a result of Trump in
- 18:32Speaker 2: this war with Iran. And I go back to say,
- 18:36Speaker 2: look at how things were before it.
- 18:38Speaker 11: All right.
- 18:39Speaker 12: Okay.
- 18:40Speaker 6: I'm not saying any of those things you said.
- 18:44Speaker 11: I agree.
- 18:44Speaker 6: We're in hard times. People are struggling. It's expensive to live.
- 18:48Speaker 6: Don't disagree with any of that. But what I'm saying is,
- 18:54Speaker 6: look at history. If you don't know the history of anything,
- 18:58Speaker 6: you're in big trouble. You don't know how you got
- 19:00Speaker 6: to where you are today. You're going to make the
- 19:02Speaker 6: same mistakes you made 10, 12, 20 years ago. Right.
- 19:06Speaker 2: I get that.
- 19:07Speaker 6: People are attacking the Jews. They've been under persecution since
- 19:12Speaker 6: the Romans came in and pushed them out of Jerusalem,
- 19:15Speaker 6: you know, 2,000 years ago. So if you don't know
- 19:18Speaker 6: the history of the Jews, you can't understand what's happening
- 19:21Speaker 6: in Israel today. You can't comprehend Palestine because you're just
- 19:25Speaker 6: too dumb, to be honest with you. And it translates
- 19:28Speaker 6: to the economy. If you don't know how you got
- 19:30Speaker 6: where you are today, you're just a dumb person. I'm
- 19:33Speaker 6: not saying a great economy is great. But if you
- 19:35Speaker 6: don't know how you got to where you are, you
- 19:38Speaker 6: are in big trouble because you will repeat the same
- 19:40Speaker 6: mistakes that got you where you are. And we're hearing that,
- 19:43Speaker 6: and I'm seeing that with so many uneducated, dumb people,
- 19:48Speaker 6: to be very point blank and honest with you. you
- 19:50Speaker 6: know they want to go back to electing the people
- 19:52Speaker 6: who created the policies that got us here it wasn't
- 19:56Speaker 6: donald trump that got us here was a democrat donald
- 19:59Speaker 6: trump's inflation was really well up until he went to
- 20:02Speaker 6: war And we've seen a price in fuel increase that's
- 20:07Speaker 6: affected CPI. But core inflation, there's good numbers out there.
- 20:10Speaker 6: You just don't want to admit it. And that's okay
- 20:13Speaker 6: because you're looking at the glass half empty. I got it.
- 20:16Speaker 6: I'm looking at it half full. We're looking at it
- 20:18Speaker 6: through two different lens. All I'm trying to say is
- 20:21Speaker 6: if you don't know how you got to where you are,
- 20:23Speaker 6: you're in big trouble because you're going to make the
- 20:24Speaker 6: same mistakes. And I'll give you a shovel. Dig the
- 20:28Speaker 6: hole deeper. That's basically what you're doing. You know, you
- 20:32Speaker 6: talk a lot about this war. What do you think
- 20:35Speaker 6: of Senator John Kennedy from Louisiana? Let me ask you
- 20:38Speaker 6: that question first.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I think he's comical.
- 20:42Speaker 12: Comical.
- 20:43Speaker 6: Do you think he's educated? Do you think he's honest?
- 20:45Speaker 6: Do you think he's a smart guy? I think he's
- 20:47Speaker 6: a law professor.
- 20:49Speaker 2: I think he's all of those things.
- 20:52Speaker 9: Okay, so let me.
- 20:53Speaker 6: Inform you and your listeners a little about something, because
- 20:55Speaker 6: you guys keep thinking... Trump's in this war because of Netanyahu.
- 20:59Speaker 6: And that's ridiculous, number one. And number two, the people
- 21:03Speaker 6: that like to talk about the Zionists don't know the
- 21:05Speaker 6: struggles of the Jewish people. Go back 2,000 years. But anyway, John,
- 21:10Speaker 6: I listened to Kennedy talk while I was driving home
- 21:13Speaker 6: from New Jersey last week. Prior to the war, there
- 21:16Speaker 6: was a meeting in the skiff. You know what the
- 21:18Speaker 6: skiff is, right? Underneath the Senate.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Stand by. Stand by. I'll wrap it up with Ted
- 21:23Speaker 2: after the break and take more of your calls. News
- 21:25Speaker 2: Radio 570 WKVN.
- 21:27Speaker 13: A man from the Cincinnati suburb of Delhi Township is
- 21:33Speaker 13: facing charges in Butler County for sex crimes against children.
- 21:36Speaker 13: Kendrick Daniels is being charged on eight counts of rape.
- 21:40Speaker 13: No other details have been made available so far. Police
- 21:43Speaker 13: in Stark County are still looking for a teenager that's
- 21:45Speaker 13: been missing since Friday and is without his medication. Hillsendale's
- 21:49Speaker 13: Village Police say 17-year-old Cameron Kaiser's car was found abandoned
- 21:54Speaker 13: in Akron. Kaiser is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall,
- 21:57Speaker 13: weighing 178 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. Anyone
- 22:01Speaker 13: with information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
- 22:06Speaker 13: The Cleveland Guardians and the Cincinnati Reds were trading partners
- 22:09Speaker 13: yesterday ahead of the MLB trade deadline. Cincinnati picked up
- 22:12Speaker 13: pitcher Alejandro Rivera and infielder Juan Brito from Cleveland, and
- 22:16Speaker 13: the Guardians acquired first baseman Nathaniel Lowe.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I'm Andy Betts.

- 22:25Speaker 14: and sports radio.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Podcast 2. Download the app.
- 22:29Speaker 14: Free never sounded so good.
- 22:31Speaker 2: A to Z dependable service.
- 22:32Speaker 8: On verb.
- 22:34Speaker 2: On NewsRadio 570.
- 22:35Speaker 15: WKBN.
- 22:35Speaker 2: All right.
- 22:39Speaker 6: Okay, real quick, and before you hang up on me,
- 22:42Speaker 6: let me get this out real quick. I want J.J.
- 22:44Speaker 6: to show up at 6.30 at the Republican headquarters to
- 22:48Speaker 6: meet him, and I want him to meet Christine Oliver.
- 22:50Speaker 6: So at 6.30, I'll be looking for J.J. Now, Senator Kennedy,
- 22:54Speaker 6: I'll make this real quick because I'm sure you've got
- 22:55Speaker 6: a lot of callers. He was asked basically, do you
- 22:59Speaker 6: support this war and why?
- 23:01Speaker 16: Okay.
- 23:02Speaker 6: He said yes. He says, I can share some information
- 23:04Speaker 6: with you, some of it's classified. Had a meeting in
- 23:07Speaker 6: the SCIFS. before all this started. So Senate was informed,
- 23:11Speaker 6: even though the Democrats will tell you they weren't. They
- 23:14Speaker 6: were given and shown intelligence by the top military brass,
- 23:20Speaker 6: top officers of the CIA, and many other people. And
- 23:25Speaker 6: basically what was about to happen was Iran was getting
- 23:28Speaker 6: ready to make a statement to the world that they
- 23:30Speaker 6: were beginning, they were going to begin back with their
- 23:34Speaker 6: nuclear programs, to weaponize these missiles and that even though
- 23:40Speaker 6: they said they didn't, we're going to admit we lied
- 23:43Speaker 6: to you. We have missiles that could hit France, Poland, Germany,
- 23:48Speaker 6: and the U.K. And if anyone tries to get in
- 23:51Speaker 6: our way, we will shoot these ballistic missiles at you.
- 23:54Speaker 6: So it's based on that intelligence that they were that
- 23:57Speaker 6: close to make this announcement that we stepped in and
- 24:00Speaker 6: did what we did and start taking out all these
- 24:02Speaker 6: missile batteries. And Kennedy said, if we did not do this,
- 24:07Speaker 6: that's where things would have been. And that was a
- 24:09Speaker 6: decision that had to be made. And that's why they
- 24:11Speaker 6: did it. Now, remember, this is the same Iranian people
- 24:14Speaker 6: that told you there was no nuclear program. They didn't
- 24:16Speaker 6: have missiles that could reach anywhere. But what happened as
- 24:18Speaker 6: soon as we started bombing them? They did send missiles
- 24:21Speaker 6: to Europe. One of them reached somewhere, didn't it? So
- 24:25Speaker 6: sometimes we may not like things, but oftentimes we don't
- 24:29Speaker 6: know half the stuff they know. And We sit back
- 24:33Speaker 6: as Monday morning quarterbacks eating popcorn, and we have this
- 24:36Speaker 6: vision of how the world should look, but that's just
- 24:39Speaker 6: not reality, you know? We've been at war since this
- 24:42Speaker 6: world was created, and we're going to probably be at
- 24:44Speaker 6: war until you and I die. Different factions, different people,
- 24:48Speaker 6: different countries. So, you know, without paraphrasing him, that's the
- 24:52Speaker 6: long and short of what Kennedy said, and some of
- 24:53Speaker 6: it was classified. He couldn't disclose. So there's a reason
- 24:56Speaker 6: we went there. It wasn't because of Netanyahu, right? I'm
- 25:00Speaker 6: saddened because if anyone knows the history of the Jewish people,
- 25:04Speaker 6: I'm sad that now the Americans are becoming the next
- 25:06Speaker 6: country to turn on them. And I'm not saying that
- 25:10Speaker 6: clearly from a military standpoint, but there's so much Jewish hate.
- 25:15Speaker 6: It's ridiculous. It started with the Romans, the Russians, the Germans.
- 25:19Speaker 6: It was the Arab nations. Now it's the Americans. I mean,
- 25:22Speaker 6: these people have been persecuted their whole lives. And if
- 25:24Speaker 6: people don't know the history of the Jewish people, I
- 25:27Speaker 6: suggest that they do some reading. because it goes back
- 25:30Speaker 6: to the Romans 2,000 years ago. They've been on the
- 25:32Speaker 6: run ever since, you know. But that's it. Welcome back.
- 25:36Speaker 6: How's that?
- 25:37Speaker 2: All right. Thank you, Ted, the conservative. You got it.
- 25:40Speaker 6: All right. Maybe I'll see you at 630, huh?
- 25:42Speaker 2: Don't hold your breath. All right. Thanks. You're on the air.
- 25:46Speaker 4: They did do some reading, Ted. It's just a sad
- 25:49Speaker 4: thing that they were reading Mind Calm. So, yeah, and
- 25:55Speaker 4: this has been going on for a little while here, Ron.
- 25:58Speaker 4: And I think Ted, I think myself, are just trying to,
- 26:04Speaker 4: I don't know, pump the brakes to the wildfire. Like,
- 26:07Speaker 4: calm down a little bit, Ron. Because it's hard to
- 26:10Speaker 4: say on Tuesday, oh, listen, Ron, the stock market went
- 26:15Speaker 4: down 500. Well, then on Wednesday, it goes up 500.
- 26:16Speaker 4: It's the same thing. And I understand what you're saying.
- 26:26Speaker 4: It doesn't look good for long-term forecasts. But guess what?
- 26:30Speaker 4: You said nobody's making money right now?
- 26:32Speaker 2: I didn't say that.
- 26:34Speaker 4: What did you say about it?
- 26:37Speaker 6: I'll let you use your words.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Listen, everybody's entitled to their own opinion. I'm saying that
- 26:42Speaker 2: from my standard, once again, not to be a broken record,
- 26:45Speaker 2: the economy is not in a good spot. Okay? And
- 26:49Speaker 2: I'll go through it again. I understand Joe Biden created
- 26:52Speaker 2: a lot of this inflation with his policies. Let me
- 26:54Speaker 2: back up on that. COVID also caused this. COVID created
- 27:00Speaker 2: a lot of this problem with the supply shortages that
- 27:03Speaker 2: took place during COVID. If you want to get realistic
- 27:05Speaker 2: on this stuff... And everybody wants to get into it.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I'd be more than happy to get into it. We
- 27:10Speaker 2: had COVID. COVID created shortages because things were shut down
- 27:14Speaker 2: and things weren't being produced. Government policy created a part
- 27:17Speaker 2: of the problem because they stimulated the economy with all
- 27:20Speaker 2: this money that was going out there. So employers didn't
- 27:23Speaker 2: have to pay their employees. They were given money for that.
- 27:26Speaker 2: You had the people getting these checks. So what did
- 27:29Speaker 2: the government do? They created demand for... when things weren't
- 27:33Speaker 2: being produced. So if you have big demand and a shortage,
- 27:36Speaker 2: prices go up because of supply and demand. It's as
- 27:40Speaker 2: simple as that. So COVID created some of this inflation.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Then you go on to it with the additional government
- 27:46Speaker 2: policies that added to it under Biden. That's why you
- 27:49Speaker 2: saw double digit inflation. I mean, to get into the
- 27:54Speaker 2: specifics of this with people, that's why you saw double
- 27:57Speaker 2: digit inflation at that time growing. Under COVID started under
- 28:01Speaker 2: Trump and some of these policies were under Trump the
- 28:03Speaker 2: first term. Biden continued them under his term and made
- 28:07Speaker 2: it worse by the decisions that he made. And then
- 28:12Speaker 2: when Trump took office, inflation was coming down. Gas prices
- 28:16Speaker 2: were down. The economy was going in a good direction.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Supply chain issues were being dealt with. So things were
- 28:24Speaker 2: going in the right direction. Then along comes this war.
- 28:27Speaker 2: And creates a huge issue with oil and energy supply issues.
- 28:34Speaker 2: And they are a mess right now. I don't care
- 28:37Speaker 2: how much you love Trump or whatever. It is an
- 28:40Speaker 2: absolute mess. And it's going to and it's going to
- 28:44Speaker 2: continue to be a mess. This is solely on him.
- 28:47Speaker 2: This was his decision. And and the economy has did
- 28:52Speaker 2: a 180 inflation ward back on top of what we had.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Additional inflation came back and we're facing serious issues with
- 29:00Speaker 2: a shortage of oil. We've depleted our reserves. China's depleting
- 29:04Speaker 2: their reserves. People don't understand this. So there's a shortage
- 29:08Speaker 2: of oil. And even if you open a straight up tomorrow,
- 29:12Speaker 2: the problem is going to persist for quite some time
- 29:14Speaker 2: to get everything back in line. And do you think
- 29:17Speaker 2: a shipping company is going to take these oil tankers,
- 29:20Speaker 2: which are extremely expensive, and say, let's go through the
- 29:22Speaker 2: straight again. Everything must be fine. More than likely, they're
- 29:26Speaker 2: not going to do that right away because they're too
- 29:28Speaker 2: nervous to do something like that at that time. The
- 29:31Speaker 2: whole system is an absolute mess, and it's because of
- 29:36Speaker 2: the decision Trump made with the situation with Netanyahu. and Israel.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I totally disagree with Ted. He did it because of Netanyahu.
- 29:44Speaker 2: He did it because of Israel. This is a major mess.
- 29:47Speaker 2: It continues to be a mess, and even if he
- 29:50Speaker 2: can get it dealt with, it will be a mess
- 29:53Speaker 2: for quite some time. I don't know if it will
- 29:55Speaker 2: ever go back to normal. It will be an absolute mess.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Supply and demand. You cannot take... 20 to 30 million
- 30:03Speaker 2: barrels of oil off the market a day and not
- 30:06Speaker 2: think prices are going to go up. So I can
- 30:09Speaker 2: go back to COVID. I can go back to Biden.
- 30:11Speaker 2: I can go back to COVID and Trump, COVID and Biden.
- 30:14Speaker 2: I can go to Trump and Iran. And this is
- 30:19Speaker 2: where you are today. And so when Ted says it's negative, well,
- 30:23Speaker 2: I don't know. Does people's income keep up with double-digit inflation?
- 30:27Speaker 2: Not just in that stuff, but you're seeing it, like
- 30:29Speaker 2: I say, with inflation with housing, property taxes going up.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Do you think I just sit here and crap this
- 30:36Speaker 2: stuff out? Do you think I'm making it up when
- 30:38Speaker 2: I'm talking about foreclosures on homes? Do you think I'm
- 30:42Speaker 2: making it up when I'm talking about people that are
- 30:44Speaker 2: defaulting on their credit cards, their mortgages? Do you think
- 30:48Speaker 2: that this is all just BS as you see those
- 30:50Speaker 2: trends go up? It is not. Once again, I don't
- 30:56Speaker 2: give a damn who you are. You got so much
- 30:57Speaker 2: money and it takes more of your money to pay
- 31:00Speaker 2: your property taxes. Your electric rates have doubled around here.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Your property taxes have gone up. They're going to go
- 31:05Speaker 2: up again. Your electric rates have doubled in this community.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Your groceries are up. Your car costs are up. Tell
- 31:12Speaker 2: me anything that's in good shape right now. So people
- 31:16Speaker 2: only got so much money. So the stock market's up today.
- 31:19Speaker 2: But it was down last week big time. You want
- 31:22Speaker 2: to talk about the stock market? One of the worst
- 31:24Speaker 2: things on a stock market, not if you're a day trader,
- 31:27Speaker 2: which most people are not. I get what Fort Lauderdale
- 31:31Speaker 2: Frank is doing or some of these guys. They're in
- 31:33Speaker 2: a whole other league. They're in a league most people
- 31:36Speaker 2: aren't in. Most people are not day traders. You can
- 31:38Speaker 2: make a lot of money and you can lose a lot.
- 31:41Speaker 2: But the worst thing of a stock market is volatility. High, high,
- 31:45Speaker 2: the huge volatility like this. Because it's just unpredictable. So
- 31:51Speaker 2: the market's up today. It could be down tomorrow. There
- 31:55Speaker 2: is no.
- 31:56Speaker 4: We're just saying the same thing to you because because
- 32:01Speaker 4: of the because of the constant back and forth. But
- 32:04Speaker 4: it's like it's it's it's happy, happy, joy, joy, because
- 32:09Speaker 4: it's down and Trump's stupid. And then when it's up.
- 32:14Speaker 2: See, that to me is a stupid comment. It's not happy, happy, joy, joy.
- 32:18Speaker 2: I'm just trying to give you the reality. I'm not
- 32:21Speaker 2: sitting here telling you happy, happy, joy. You don't think
- 32:24Speaker 2: I lose a lot on a day that it's down
- 32:26Speaker 2: like that, whether it's in my retirement and that kind
- 32:28Speaker 2: of stuff? It's not happy, happy, joy, joy. It's the reality.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I'm sitting here, maybe unlike a lot of people, and
- 32:35Speaker 2: you know what? I'm genuinely concerned about people that are
- 32:38Speaker 2: close to retirement or in retirement. Now, you know, there's
- 32:41Speaker 2: many things when you say happy, happy, joy, joy. You
- 32:44Speaker 2: get a down market and somebody's got to take a
- 32:46Speaker 2: required minimum distribution because of their age. You know, you
- 32:49Speaker 2: have to start doing that at 73, 74. Well, guess what?
- 32:53Speaker 2: You want to take it in a down market when
- 32:54Speaker 2: it's severely down? You think that doesn't affect that person?
- 32:59Speaker 2: You got people saying they plan for their retirement and
- 33:03Speaker 2: now things are so inflated. the cost of everything that
- 33:07Speaker 2: they thought they had in good shape, and they're not
- 33:11Speaker 2: in good shape. Now, I'm not making any of this
- 33:14Speaker 2: crap up. I mean, medical costs are off the charts. No,
- 33:20Speaker 2: this is not my opinion. This is what's going on.
- 33:22Speaker 2: So you want me to sit here and say, oh,
- 33:26Speaker 2: I voted for Trump. Everything's always great and wonderful. I
- 33:30Speaker 2: am not a cheerleader. It is not. This situation is
- 33:34Speaker 2: a damn mess. Period. It's a mess. Period. And there's
- 33:39Speaker 2: no end in sight.
- 33:42Speaker 4: We're not saying it isn't a mess. I'm just grouping
- 33:47Speaker 4: people together. But the saying that Trump did this against
- 33:53Speaker 4: Iran because of Israel is your opinion. That part, I'm
- 33:57Speaker 4: not talking about the property taxes or anything. You're right
- 34:00Speaker 4: about that. But that's just an opinion because you don't
- 34:03Speaker 4: know that. Only Trump knows that, right, why he did it.
- 34:08Speaker 4: And I'm just saying... Back to the old best shouldn't
- 34:13Speaker 4: be the enemy of better. Yes. Is that a mess?
- 34:16Speaker 4: And should that get better? Absolutely. But look, you mentioned
- 34:20Speaker 4: all those things that happened. COVID, Biden, blah, blah, blah. Yeah.
- 34:25Speaker 4: How about COVID and four years of Biden? And anybody
- 34:30Speaker 4: can come in. We don't know anything about them. We
- 34:33Speaker 4: don't know any vaccination. We're not asking them to do it.
- 34:36Speaker 4: And the COVID was a baby under Trump. So I
- 34:40Speaker 4: would think you got to give him a little break.
- 34:43Speaker 4: Did he make all the right decisions?
- 34:44Speaker 17: No.
- 34:45Speaker 4: But that was the very beginning. And then he was out. Right?
- 34:50Speaker 4: That's November. That's January. He's done. It's a year. It's
- 34:54Speaker 4: less than a year than when we knew about it.
- 34:59Speaker 4: You do the COVID and the Biden thing, yes, that
- 35:03Speaker 4: affects a lot of stuff. But who made the bad decisions?
- 35:06Speaker 4: And we wouldn't know about these bad decisions or the
- 35:10Speaker 4: lying if it wasn't for Trump being in there now.
- 35:15Speaker 4: We wouldn't know, Nemet Oz today, how many people indicted
- 35:19Speaker 4: in Pennsylvania for more fraud. It's the Trump administration that's
- 35:26Speaker 4: making things better, that made the border better, that continues
- 35:29Speaker 4: to make the border better.
- 35:30Speaker 2: I understand that. Listen, I'm not here talking about everything here.
- 35:35Speaker 2: I'm talking about one thing, which is the economy. All right,
- 35:38Speaker 2: I'm going to say it again. I'm not a cheerleader
- 35:40Speaker 2: for the guy. All right. I mean, I'm here to
- 35:43Speaker 2: tell you, in my opinion, it sucks right now. And
- 35:46Speaker 2: I wish I could tell you it's going to get better.
- 35:49Speaker 2: I don't know. Well, I mean, if that's what you want,
- 35:52Speaker 2: you know, you can tune into Hannity or Clay and
- 35:56Speaker 2: Buck where where Trump can do nothing wrong. This this
- 35:59Speaker 2: is a mess. All right. I don't know where you
- 36:03Speaker 2: get any positivity in it. And I go through it.
- 36:07Speaker 2: You know, I get the Democrats pissed at me when
- 36:09Speaker 2: I say, here's why your electric prices increase. Because Obama
- 36:15Speaker 2: and Hillary Clinton had the war on coal and they
- 36:18Speaker 2: mandated that these coal plants be torn down with nothing
- 36:22Speaker 2: to replace them. So they created a shortage in electricity.
- 36:26Speaker 2: That's one of the main reasons why... Your electric rates
- 36:30Speaker 2: went up. Now, the Democrats call, like you, the Democratic
- 36:33Speaker 2: cheerleaders call, and they say, well, Ron, that isn't why
- 36:35Speaker 2: the prices went up. It's AI. Well, it is AI
- 36:38Speaker 2: as well. But they went up because they created the
- 36:41Speaker 2: problem by ripping the coal plants down. But it's also AI.
- 36:44Speaker 2: So I agree with them, but they don't want to
- 36:46Speaker 2: acknowledge the other part of it. So I'm here to
- 36:49Speaker 2: tell you, I understand what Biden did. I understand what
- 36:52Speaker 2: Trump did. I understand what Trump did during COVID. He
- 36:56Speaker 2: was given some money out, too, on policies, as I remember.
- 37:00Speaker 2: He was sending out some checks and this kind of stuff.
- 37:02Speaker 2: But many people were arguing at the time, what are
- 37:04Speaker 2: you giving people money for when we don't have any
- 37:07Speaker 2: products to produce, when we shut everything down? I mean,
- 37:11Speaker 2: it's basic economics. I mean, to me, this is basic.
- 37:16Speaker 2: I don't know if you've got an endless stream of money.
- 37:19Speaker 2: I mean, whose income is keeping up with this? I mean,
- 37:23Speaker 2: I just got done with that over my time back.
- 37:27Speaker 2: I just started looking at delinquencies on property taxes. They're
- 37:33Speaker 2: at a huge high in the state of Ohio, about $ 575, 000.
- 37:38Speaker 14: That's huge.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Delinquencies. I mean, is that a good economic sign? Or
- 37:44Speaker 2: is that showing you people are having a tough time
- 37:46Speaker 2: keeping up with these constant increases that are beyond the
- 37:49Speaker 2: rate of inflation? And I sit here and I give
- 37:55Speaker 2: Dave Thomas time and I try to get things changed
- 37:59Speaker 2: for some of these people. But these damn stupid local
- 38:02Speaker 2: politicians think the answer always is, well, we need more
- 38:05Speaker 2: of your money. They are the problem. And some of
- 38:09Speaker 2: them are Republicans. And they are the problem. And many
- 38:12Speaker 2: of these people locally who are running as Republicans really
- 38:15Speaker 2: aren't Republicans. They are tax and spend Democrats. who are
- 38:21Speaker 2: running as Republicans because they think they can get elected
- 38:24Speaker 2: that way. That's my observation with them. Because if you're
- 38:27Speaker 2: a Republican, you believe in less government, lower taxes. Not
- 38:32Speaker 2: more government and more taxes.
- 38:35Speaker 4: Get rid of the bums. Exactly. But in both parties,
- 38:37Speaker 4: of course. And I'm just pointing out the other things
- 38:40Speaker 4: that are good. The going after the fraud is actually happening.
- 38:44Speaker 2: I understand all of that. That's all good. But I
- 38:48Speaker 2: can't talk about 87 things at one time. He asked
- 38:52Speaker 2: me about the economy. What do you want me to say? Well,
- 38:55Speaker 2: before I get to the economy, I want to make
- 38:56Speaker 2: sure I'm how happy I am about the border being closed. Frankly,
- 39:01Speaker 2: I think he should be getting more of these people
- 39:02Speaker 2: out of the country that are here illegally anyway.
- 39:06Speaker 4: And that's what I was going to say about supply
- 39:07Speaker 4: and demand. Once we're doing it, some are self-deporting. It's happening, right?
- 39:13Speaker 4: The judge said, okay, yeah, your temporary protected.
- 39:16Speaker 6: Status is over.
- 39:17Speaker 4: You're going.
- 39:18Speaker 18: Okay.
- 39:19Speaker 4: I'm just saying there's good things going on while there's
- 39:22Speaker 4: bad things going on. Except if we had anybody else
- 39:26Speaker 4: in there, we wouldn't have the good part with the
- 39:29Speaker 4: bad part.
- 39:31Speaker 2: If you think I would vote for Harris, you did.
- 39:34Speaker 2: I won't vote for a Democrat, that's for sure. I'll
- 39:37Speaker 2: tell you who I'd like to see president. I just
- 39:39Speaker 2: make no bones. I think Ron DeSantis would be an
- 39:41Speaker 2: excellent president, in my opinion.
- 39:43Speaker 4: Yes, he would.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Because I think, frankly, I think he's smart. I just think,
- 39:49Speaker 2: and he could be, I just think DeSantis is probably
- 39:52Speaker 2: one of the smartest guys out there. Because I just
- 39:55Speaker 2: think he's well-read. He's a lawyer. And I set that aside.
- 39:59Speaker 2: That can be good or bad. But he's well-read. I
- 40:02Speaker 2: leave you with that. We'll be back after this.
- 40:23Speaker 18: The Pentagon war-gamed multiple scenarios and told Trump that the
- 40:31Speaker 18: Iran war is unwinnable. And please tell Ted the Conservative
- 40:36Speaker 18: that if Iran has enough uranium to make maybe eight
- 40:42Speaker 18: atomic bombs and they were foolish enough to nuke Europe,
- 40:47Speaker 18: the United States would nuke Iran into the Stone Age.
- 40:52Speaker 18: They're not going to do something that stupid. Now, when
- 40:56Speaker 18: Nixon took the dollar off the gold standard, we had
- 41:00Speaker 18: double-digit inflation because now there was no check on unlimited
- 41:05Speaker 18: money creation. Ted is wrong. Trump could tell the Fed
- 41:09Speaker 18: to stop creating money, and prices would stabilize immediately. And
- 41:15Speaker 18: when Ronald Reagan appointed Paul Volcker Fed Chairman... He took
- 41:20Speaker 18: money out of circulation, and gas prices, interest rates, and
- 41:25Speaker 18: other prices actually came down. And the same thing happened
- 41:29Speaker 18: during the Great Depression. The Fed contracted the money supply,
- 41:34Speaker 18: and goods and services became cheaper. So, Ted, Trump is
- 41:39Speaker 18: responsible for stagflation and monetary inflation. He could stop it immediately.
- 41:46Speaker 18: You're making Biden a scapegoat. Trump is the president. He's
- 41:51Speaker 18: responsible for inflation. And Trump promised that tariff taxes could
- 41:56Speaker 18: eliminate income taxes entirely. But last year, income taxes brought
- 42:01Speaker 18: in $ 2. 7 trillion in tax revenue. Now, when I subtract
- 42:07Speaker 18: $ 2. 7 trillion from $ 200 billion that we received in tariff taxes,
- 42:15Speaker 18: I get a $ 2. 5 trillion shortfall. That's more than the
- 42:19Speaker 18: entire U.S. war budget. There's no way tariff taxes like
- 42:25Speaker 18: G2 promised is going to eliminate income tax. And when
- 42:31Speaker 18: Reagan cut taxes in the highest income bracket in the
- 42:34Speaker 18: Soviet Union collapse of 1991 with the House arrest by
- 42:39Speaker 18: the Politburo of Gorbachev, the socialist countries of China and
- 42:44Speaker 18: India saw the writing on the wall. They opened their
- 42:48Speaker 18: countries to foreign investment. This made vast amounts of low-cost
- 42:53Speaker 18: labor available to U.S. capital. And, Ron, I've always said
- 42:58Speaker 18: investment capital always seeks out the lowest cost of production. But,
- 43:03Speaker 18: you know, Ron, American executives who did not quickly capitalize
- 43:07Speaker 18: on low labor costs in Asia by moving their production
- 43:11Speaker 18: for U.S. markets offshore They were warned by Wall Street
- 43:16Speaker 18: that they better get their asses over there quickly.

- 44:21Speaker 20: Ohio Republican, who denies allegations of abusing his now ex-wife

- 44:28Speaker 20: investigation into Miller for alleged domestic violence and abuse or
- 44:32Speaker 20: illegal drug use. Sources tell ABC News that President Trump
- 44:36Speaker 20: called Miller, telling him his re-election campaign is in jeopardy.

- 45:26Speaker 20: oil facilities.
- 45:27Speaker 23: The loss of refining capacity in Russia is problematic because
- 45:31Speaker 23: traditionally Russia is a major exporter of product. Without any
- 45:35Speaker 23: product to export after those refiners have been knocked offline,
- 45:38Speaker 23: that is becoming another pain point that we're going to
- 45:41Speaker 23: have to watch very closely in the weeks and months ahead.
- 45:43Speaker 20: Acting Attorney General Todd Blanch has been confirmed by the

- 45:55Speaker 24: He still does have a challenge with the full Senate.
- 45:57Speaker 24: He will likely get through, but that doesn't mean it's
- 46:00Speaker 24: going to be smooth sailing between now and presumably Saturday
- 46:03Speaker 24: night is when that full vote for Blanche, at this

- 47:17Speaker 21: Former Army Private Andrew Auerbach was charged with one count
- 47:20Speaker 21: of arson for the attack, which prosecutors say began planning
- 47:23Speaker 21: back in January. The entire incident last month was caught
- 47:26Speaker 21: on surveillance footage, showing Auerbach allegedly lighting fireworks, pouring gasoline

- 47:33Speaker 21: a BB rifle towards the main federal building in downtown Manhattan.

- 49:43Speaker 2: It's 88 degrees. It's Tuesday, August 4th already. 2026, Ron Verb. Okay,
- 49:48Speaker 2: go ahead with your comments, Frank.
- 49:51Speaker 18: Okay, Ron, you did a great job with Jacob about
- 49:55Speaker 18: record number of consumer card debt. You know, people are
- 50:01Speaker 18: defaulting in record numbers. But American executives... who did not
- 50:07Speaker 18: quickly take advantage of low labor costs in Asia by
- 50:12Speaker 18: moving their production offshore, were warned by Wall Street that
- 50:16Speaker 18: they better get over there quickly, or Wall Street would
- 50:20Speaker 18: finance takeovers of those corporations and do the job themselves.
- 50:25Speaker 18: And the American economy experienced a wave of mergers and
- 50:30Speaker 18: acquisitions that was breathtaking. Now, with the relocation of U.S.,
- 50:36Speaker 18: manufacturing jobs to Asia and Mexico, so went blue-collar jobs
- 50:41Speaker 18: and middle-class incomes. And the tax bases of U.S. cities
- 50:47Speaker 18: and states shrunk. One, America is a consumer-driven economy.
- 50:53Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 50:54Speaker 18: Consumer income growth stopped dead in its tracks. as a
- 50:58Speaker 18: result of shipping production factories overseas.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Well, there's two things that go in a consumer-driven economy.
- 51:04Speaker 2: There's two fundamentals. You have to have consumers. And consumers
- 51:09Speaker 2: have to have jobs to have income. Okay, so if
- 51:14Speaker 2: you're a consumer-driven economy and everything around you costs more,
- 51:21Speaker 2: you're able to consume less. You follow me? So you
- 51:25Speaker 2: buy less unless you go into debt. So in a
- 51:28Speaker 2: consumer-driven economy... that you buy less because you're spending more
- 51:34Speaker 2: for all these other items. In other words, like if
- 51:37Speaker 2: I look at my sign out here for gas today,
- 51:39Speaker 2: I have to pay $ 4. 20 for a gallon of gas
- 51:43Speaker 2: where I used to pay $ 2. 50. So I'm paying more
- 51:47Speaker 2: of my dollars for the same gallon of gas, right?
- 51:50Speaker 2: Just as we have to pay more dollars for the
- 51:52Speaker 2: same hamburger quantity, right? That we used to get for
- 51:56Speaker 2: less dollars. So it's pretty simple to figure this stuff
- 51:59Speaker 2: out when it comes to your finances. It's not a difficult.
- 52:05Speaker 2: We are a consumer driven economy, but if consumers have
- 52:07Speaker 2: less money because more of it's taken away in inflation
- 52:10Speaker 2: or taxes, that's not a good for a consumer driven economy.
- 52:15Speaker 18: Especially when they go deep into debt and don't consume
- 52:21Speaker 18: based on their current wages.
- 52:25Speaker 2: Let me give you a catch-22. Are you ready for this?
- 52:28Speaker 4: Yes, sir.
- 52:29Speaker 2: Here's a catch-22. I give this to Fort Lauderdale, Frank,
- 52:32Speaker 2: and I put this out for all of you. It's
- 52:34Speaker 2: called a catch-22. You tell me what... What the right
- 52:38Speaker 2: answer is. So many of you remember during COVID, you
- 52:43Speaker 2: found out for the first time that many of our
- 52:45Speaker 2: antibiotics were no longer made in the United States of America.
- 52:49Speaker 2: That they were, in fact, made in China. That you
- 52:51Speaker 2: learned that we are at their mercy because they threatened
- 52:55Speaker 2: to cut a lot of that stuff off. I don't
- 52:57Speaker 2: care if it's ibuprofen or Tylenol or whatever this stuff was.
- 53:01Speaker 2: Many of your prescriptions are made in China. And they said,
- 53:04Speaker 2: we'll cut it off. So what does Trump want to
- 53:06Speaker 2: do right now? Here's where Trump is. And remember, people
- 53:10Speaker 2: were saying at that time, by God, when did we
- 53:12Speaker 2: concede all that to China so they got us over
- 53:15Speaker 2: a barrel that we got to buy all this from
- 53:17Speaker 2: China and they can cut us off on this kind
- 53:18Speaker 2: of stuff? When did this happen? So now here's what
- 53:21Speaker 2: Trump is proposing. Trump is saying that he wants this
- 53:26Speaker 2: manufacturing to return to America. So that means you, if
- 53:30Speaker 2: you're on a generic drug, would probably pay What I'm reading,
- 53:37Speaker 2: they say substantially more than what you're paying. I don't
- 53:40Speaker 2: know what substantially means in this case, but they're saying
- 53:43Speaker 2: you would pay more than you are currently for your
- 53:47Speaker 2: generic drugs than you are presently so that you can
- 53:52Speaker 2: have that manufacturing ship back to America.
- 53:56Speaker 18: Now, the question is, are you absolutely correct?
- 53:58Speaker 2: Are you willing to do that? And let's let's just
- 54:01Speaker 2: say that happens. Let's just say Trump does that to say, well,
- 54:04Speaker 2: we should make this stuff here. How many how many
- 54:07Speaker 2: old people do you think are going to be bitching, saying,
- 54:09Speaker 2: wait a minute, I'm paying more for all of this
- 54:12Speaker 2: kind of stuff and I can't afford it. So there's
- 54:14Speaker 2: a catch 22. A consumer will have to pay more
- 54:17Speaker 2: for these generic drugs. But at the same time, they'll
- 54:21Speaker 2: be made in America. You won't be a victim of China,
- 54:24Speaker 2: but it will cost you more. Which one do you want?
- 54:28Speaker 18: Well, that's why Trump is trying to buy votes for
- 54:32Speaker 18: the midterms, because we have Trump Rx right now, which
- 54:37Speaker 18: keep generic drug prices dirt cheap. And he would expand
- 54:41Speaker 18: that if we said to China, we're not buying prescription
- 54:45Speaker 18: drugs for you. We're going to make them here in
- 54:48Speaker 18: America cheap. And it would take years to make the
- 54:51Speaker 18: same drugs that China makes. You'd have a black market.
- 54:55Speaker 18: And also, Ron, when it comes to data, AI centers,
- 55:02Speaker 18: they're causing electricity prices to rise as they compete with
- 55:07Speaker 18: homeowners for electric power.
- 55:09Speaker 2: Supply and demand, right.
- 55:11Speaker 18: And America is suffering from depleted resources such as water, air,
- 55:17Speaker 18: and fertile land, for example. Now, the Democrats welcomed in
- 55:20Speaker 18: 30 million illegal aliens who they knew would vote Democrat
- 55:25Speaker 18: that are also accelerating the depletion of resources. And Trump's
- 55:30Speaker 18: war for Israel will send energy prices skyrocketing upward. That's
- 55:35Speaker 18: why the Republicans stole Venezuela's oil and is threatening to
- 55:40Speaker 18: steal Greenland's and Canada's resources as well. But, you know,
- 55:45Speaker 18: I want to add to the great point you made to...
- 55:49Speaker 18: Ted and Jacob. Under Trump, 6 million student loan borrowers
- 55:56Speaker 18: were in default last August. That figure surged to 7.7
- 56:01Speaker 18: million by December, and now by April, student loan defaults
- 56:06Speaker 18: have surged again to 9.2 million borrowers, which is one
- 56:11Speaker 18: in every five persons with student debt. In another 3 million,
- 56:17Speaker 18: are 90 days delinquent or more and also heading towards default. Now, Obama, Biden,
- 56:24Speaker 18: and Trump have kicked the can down the road through
- 56:28Speaker 18: payment pauses, but with interest continuing to accumulate so that
- 56:32Speaker 18: some former students now owe more than their original principal.
- 56:37Speaker 2: Well, what was it, and you might, I mean, listen,
- 56:41Speaker 2: it was ridiculous, and I think it had to do with...
- 56:44Speaker 2: Was it car loans or something to try to make
- 56:47Speaker 2: it more affordable? They wanted it to be like an
- 56:50Speaker 2: eight-year loan or nine-year loan. I forgot. Or no, it
- 56:53Speaker 2: was housing.
- 56:55Speaker 18: He wanted to extend mortgage loans to 50 years. Most
- 57:00Speaker 18: people would be dead before they paid.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Right. This was some of the discussion. How do we
- 57:06Speaker 2: make housing more affordable for people? And you would have
- 57:10Speaker 2: a 50-year mortgage. Of which you would probably follow it.
- 57:17Speaker 2: The money people said you'd be just better off renting
- 57:19Speaker 2: because it's ridiculous. You'll never pay it off.
- 57:23Speaker 18: You know, Ron, Florida has one of the best managed
- 57:26Speaker 18: state economies in the country.
- 57:28Speaker 2: Hey, Frank, Frank, I was just down there. I just
- 57:31Speaker 2: came back late last night, and I bet you people
- 57:35Speaker 2: listening thought I was probably down there visiting Frank from
- 57:37Speaker 2: Fort Lauderdale.
- 57:40Speaker 6: No, you weren't.
- 57:41Speaker 18: You were enjoying yourself. But I don't know why he
- 57:44Speaker 18: came in the summer. It's like in the 90s.
- 57:47Speaker 2: Oh, it was wonderful.
- 57:48Speaker 6: It was great.
- 57:50Speaker 18: You want to know how bad the economy has run?
- 57:52Speaker 18: Florida has the highest. home foreclosure rate in the country.
- 57:58Speaker 18: That's how bad things are. And we've got a good
- 58:01Speaker 18: economy compared to the other 49 states.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you do. It's a great area. All right, Frank,
- 58:08Speaker 2: enough today. Thank you, my friends. All right, Fort Lauderdale. Frank,
- 58:12Speaker 2: you're on the air. Hello.
- 58:14Speaker 28: You know, the There's conversation going on. The narrative jumps
- 58:17Speaker 28: all over the place. But, you know, you started out
- 58:19Speaker 28: the program very well. You can support Donald Trump and
- 58:23Speaker 28: be critical of him. You know, I'm 100 percent. I
- 58:27Speaker 28: would never have voted for the other alternative. But the
- 58:30Speaker 28: thing is, some of the things that are going on
- 58:31Speaker 28: right now, I'm just not happy with. I could point
- 58:33Speaker 28: them out.
- 58:33Speaker 6: I could be critical of them.
- 58:34Speaker 28: I'm not going to be a cheerleader. There's a big
- 58:37Speaker 28: difference between the economy and the stock market. I mean,
- 58:40Speaker 28: one day we're at war, one day we're making a deal.
- 58:44Speaker 28: You know, why did the market go up today? I
- 58:45Speaker 28: was at work today. I didn't have much attention, but
- 58:48Speaker 28: I'm sure it had something to do with us coming
- 58:50Speaker 28: to a deal possible.
- 58:52Speaker 6: And then guess what?
- 58:53Speaker 28: Friday at 4.01, we're going to decapitate the Iranian regime.
- 58:58Speaker 28: It keeps going back and forth and back and forth.
- 59:01Speaker 28: And the administration, they're not dumb. They didn't get this
- 59:03Speaker 28: position because they got lucky. You know, you play the narrative.
- 59:06Speaker 28: You let the market ride up by saying there's a deal.
- 59:09Speaker 28: There's no deal. The market comes back in. It goes
- 59:11Speaker 28: back up. You know, it's not Frank and Ted trading
- 59:15Speaker 28: this afternoon, buying mutual funds and ETFs. These are algorithmic
- 59:20Speaker 28: driven markets. They see the headline and then they buy
- 59:24Speaker 28: on the news. It's the same thing with the oil.
- 59:26Speaker 28: When oil drops to $ 70 a barrel, It's not because
- 59:29Speaker 28: the straighter moves opened up and the Iranians are waving
- 59:32Speaker 28: the white flag. I mean, this is a game back
- 59:35Speaker 28: and forth. They're going to drag this out. They understand
- 59:37Speaker 28: they've got midterms. They can't let oil soar through the roof.
- 59:40Speaker 28: We've got a complete mess on our hands. If you
- 59:43Speaker 28: believe the CPI numbers or the inflation numbers, I mean..
- 59:47Speaker 4: Are you just blind?
- 59:49Speaker 28: If you don't understand they're lying to what inflation is,
- 59:52Speaker 28: I mean, you're just listening to a narrative that's just
- 59:55Speaker 28: been given to you. You have to open your eyes
- 59:57Speaker 28: and see what's going on in the world around you.
- 1:00:00Speaker 28: I'm happy that the market won today, but it could
- 1:00:04Speaker 28: go down just as easy a few days from now,
- 1:00:06Speaker 28: and you hit the nail on the head. The market
- 1:00:08Speaker 28: shouldn't go up. The NASDAQ shouldn't go up 3.5% or 4%
- 1:00:10Speaker 28: in a day. What news came out that made all
- 1:00:15Speaker 28: of these companies that much more profitable. What company goes
- 1:00:19Speaker 28: up $ 100 billion in one day on what kind of news?
- 1:00:21Speaker 28: Did they come out with something new? I mean, everybody,
- 1:00:25Speaker 28: the market is just S & P 500. You buy
- 1:00:27Speaker 28: a basket, one stock goes up, and as long as
- 1:00:30Speaker 28: that's a bigger portion in the basket, the whole market
- 1:00:32Speaker 28: goes up. I mean, Frank's right in a lot of
- 1:00:35Speaker 28: points there. I don't usually agree with Frank, but when
- 1:00:39Speaker 28: we came off that gold standard in 1971, inflation's been.
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: Through the roof.
- 1:00:42Speaker 28: It's just We've had a GDP that's been able to
- 1:00:46Speaker 28: cover it all. You guys have all the, like you said, too,
- 1:00:49Speaker 28: health care prices, pharmaceutical prices. I could tell you right now,
- 1:00:53Speaker 28: if you gave every 100 boomers out there the option
- 1:00:56Speaker 28: to make medications in America or pay less for them,
- 1:01:00Speaker 28: 98 of them will say, I want to pay less
- 1:01:01Speaker 28: because the other 2% have so much money that it
- 1:01:04Speaker 28: doesn't matter to them. Our country is going to absolute
- 1:01:09Speaker 28: bonker town. Moving forward, we've got nothing good going on
- 1:01:12Speaker 28: right now. Most people don't even realize we bailed out
- 1:01:16Speaker 28: Japan Friday. I mean, that's not even in the news.
- 1:01:19Speaker 28: Their market, I can go on a whole tangent about that.
- 1:01:22Speaker 28: We totally saved them because they have no domestic oil production,
- 1:01:26Speaker 28: and they're buying all of their oil in a dollar
- 1:01:29Speaker 28: that in their currency is getting destroyed. If we didn't
- 1:01:31Speaker 28: bail them out on Friday, they probably would be wrecking
- 1:01:34Speaker 28: the whole entire stock market. People don't understand that. They
- 1:01:37Speaker 28: just every two weeks put their money into their 401k,
- 1:01:40Speaker 28: their 403b, and all the market does is go up.
- 1:01:43Speaker 28: On what? Because we have deflated dollars. Everybody's getting richer nominally,
- 1:01:49Speaker 28: but everybody complains about the same thing, that your dollar
- 1:01:51Speaker 28: doesn't buy as much. We've got every local government in
- 1:01:55Speaker 28: this area crying that they need more money. It's because
- 1:01:58Speaker 28: the local government's getting your tax dollars, and those dollars
- 1:02:01Speaker 28: are worth less. Your local government can't put money into assets.
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: The polling..
- 1:02:07Speaker 28: Canfield, all these townships, they can't invest their money in
- 1:02:10Speaker 28: the S & P 500. So they're getting hit by inflation, too.
- 1:02:13Speaker 28: Of course, you can do things on the margin to
- 1:02:16Speaker 28: fix things that are wasteful, idiotic.
- 1:02:18Speaker 11: Spending, of course.
- 1:02:19Speaker 28: But it all comes back to money. Everything comes back
- 1:02:24Speaker 28: to money. And the money is just completely ruined and
- 1:02:27Speaker 28: it's wrecked. And the whole system in which it operates
- 1:02:30Speaker 28: is ruined and wrecked. I mean, I'll tell you right now, too,
- 1:02:33Speaker 28: I'm all over the place because everybody else's comments are
- 1:02:35Speaker 28: all over the place because we can't focus on one thing.
- 1:02:37Speaker 28: We've got so many problems. Look at Donald Trump. Are
- 1:02:40Speaker 28: you happy that now you can buy for $ 100, 000 earlier
- 1:02:45Speaker 28: access to his posts, his tweets on X or Trump
- 1:02:49Speaker 28: or whatever? You don't think that moves the market? If
- 1:02:52Speaker 28: you get millisecond faster information that Donald Trump's going to
- 1:02:55Speaker 28: do this, this, or that, that moves the market instantaneously.
- 1:02:59Speaker 28: That is completely insane that he even thinks or that
- 1:03:04Speaker 28: his family or his team thinks that that's okay. I mean,
- 1:03:08Speaker 28: everything is..
- 1:03:09Speaker 15: All over the place.
- 1:03:10Speaker 28: And I talked to you last week before I think
- 1:03:13Speaker 28: the legal show is the last thing we talked about.
- 1:03:15Speaker 28: Did you even see what happened in Spain the other day?
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: What happened?
- 1:03:21Speaker 28: Did you see? They don't even know it's 40 or
- 1:03:24Speaker 28: 80,000 migrants stormed the beach in Spain.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:03:30Speaker 28: If you watch the video, it looks like a zombie apocalypse.
- 1:03:34Speaker 28: I mean, look at this. I'll criticize Donald Trump for
- 1:03:37Speaker 28: these things because the opposite would have been, instead of
- 1:03:40Speaker 28: that happening in Spain, it would have happened in our country.
- 1:03:42Speaker 28: 40,000 to 8,000 military-aged men, these weren't women and children,
- 1:03:48Speaker 28: didn't all just decide one morning to storm the beaches
- 1:03:51Speaker 28: of this little enclave of northern Africa on the beach
- 1:03:55Speaker 28: of Morocco. Because somebody organized it, they knew that Spain
- 1:04:00Speaker 28: has a law, if you come by sea, you don't
- 1:04:03Speaker 28: get deported. So they just took a population of 60,000
- 1:04:06Speaker 28: in that Ceuta, Spain, and doubled it overnight. There's migrants
- 1:04:11Speaker 28: just running amok there, and they're all going to get
- 1:04:14Speaker 28: citizenship there, because they won't get deported because of Spain.
- 1:04:17Speaker 28: So what happens when they get citizenship? They're all just
- 1:04:20Speaker 28: going to disperse over Europe. Europe is a complete disaster.
- 1:04:24Speaker 28: We're going the same direction, and yeah, I will criticize
- 1:04:28Speaker 28: Trump again, because if Kamala Harris were president, that 60,000
- 1:04:32Speaker 28: people in Spain would have been organized, the 60,000 people
- 1:04:35Speaker 28: flood our border, or even more over the last two years.
- 1:04:39Speaker 28: It's just utter insanity, and it's because, again, everything comes
- 1:04:42Speaker 28: back to money. Everything, everything, everything. And our whole system
- 1:04:45Speaker 28: is broken because there's no repercussions, no consequences to anything, ever.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Yeah, that was an amazing video. Stand by for one second.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: I want to come back with Alec in a minute.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: NewsRadio 570 WQEN. Well, listen to this. The recent tornado.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: That deal that you're talking about in Spain, if people
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: haven't seen that picture, it is unbelievable how many people
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: are rushing into that area. It's overwhelming. And think of
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: what that does to the folks that are already there
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: and the burden it puts on that society.
- 1:05:25Speaker 28: Yeah, and I mean, think about that would happen here 100%.
- 1:05:29Speaker 28: They already tried to do it. Those 60,000 25-year-old aged
- 1:05:35Speaker 28: men didn't do that on their own. Somebody's organizing that.
- 1:05:39Speaker 28: Do you think whoever's organizing that wants to get them
- 1:05:42Speaker 28: into Spain? Or do you think they want to get
- 1:05:44Speaker 28: them into Europe? They want to get them here. So yes,
- 1:05:48Speaker 28: I don't care if Donald Trump does this, this, and this.
- 1:05:51Speaker 28: I will criticize him for all those other things. But
- 1:05:54Speaker 28: the alternative was way worse.
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: And we won't even.
- 1:05:58Speaker 28: Have a country, yet alone our financial aspect of it
- 1:06:02Speaker 28: will be inflation through the roof, you name it. But
- 1:06:06Speaker 28: what are people leaving behind? When you vote for these things,
- 1:06:11Speaker 28: it just blows my mind. You've got callers that will
- 1:06:14Speaker 28: call in and say, Donald Trump's dad gave him a
- 1:06:16Speaker 28: million dollars. I could never vote for him. Donald Trump
- 1:06:19Speaker 28: did this. I could never vote for him. And it
- 1:06:22Speaker 28: will turn a blind eye to their country absolutely being
- 1:06:26Speaker 28: utterly destroyed right in front of their face and won't
- 1:06:30Speaker 28: care because their hate for Donald Trump exceeds their love
- 1:06:34Speaker 28: for the country. We got a lot of problems in
- 1:06:36Speaker 28: this country, but there are a lot of people out
- 1:06:39Speaker 28: there that put their hate for one single person off
- 1:06:44Speaker 28: anything else. And it is just cascading downhill here. And
- 1:06:49Speaker 28: it's getting worse and worse. You can just see it
- 1:06:50Speaker 28: in society as an entirety.
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: It's getting worse.
- 1:06:54Speaker 28: And I just wonder what we're leaving future generations. It
- 1:07:00Speaker 28: honestly makes me sad to see what's going on anymore. Look, again,
- 1:07:04Speaker 28: the economy. You can't find people to work. Why would
- 1:07:07Speaker 28: you work? Why do you have to work if you
- 1:07:09Speaker 28: can just do this, this, and that? You saw the
- 1:07:12Speaker 28: fraud that came out in Pennsylvania with all these home
- 1:07:15Speaker 28: health care agencies. I mean, people saying they're taking care
- 1:07:18Speaker 28: of their loved ones, they're getting pulled over with drugs
- 1:07:22Speaker 28: in the car, getting taxpayer dollars. What they do to
- 1:07:26Speaker 28: us as taxpayers is just run out. I mean, we
- 1:07:29Speaker 28: fought a revolution in this country over a 2% tax.
- 1:07:32Speaker 28: Now most people are blind. They don't even realize they're
- 1:07:35Speaker 28: paying 50% of what they earn in taxes. It blows
- 1:07:40Speaker 28: my mind that the level of frustration out there isn't higher.
- 1:07:43Speaker 28: And I talk to people about this, and they shrug
- 1:07:45Speaker 28: their shoulders and say, It is what it is. It
- 1:07:48Speaker 28: is what it is because people are lazy out there
- 1:07:50Speaker 28: because they just haven't suffered the consequences enough yet. And
- 1:07:54Speaker 28: usually it does take a catastrophe to actually get things fixed.
- 1:07:58Speaker 28: It's just I don't want to have to go through
- 1:08:00Speaker 28: a catastrophe to get the things fixed. We had a
- 1:08:03Speaker 28: chance during COVID when there really was an actual pandemic.
- 1:08:07Speaker 28: It was terribly. But we had a chance to fix
- 1:08:09Speaker 28: a lot of things. We didn't. We got we have
- 1:08:12Speaker 28: all this fraud in Ohio that came to light.
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: We've got.
- 1:08:15Speaker 28: All of this could have been fixed.
- 1:08:17Speaker 9: It did.
- 1:08:18Speaker 28: We've got all these problems locally with local government. It's
- 1:08:21Speaker 28: a chance to get it fixed. It won't because they'll
- 1:08:24Speaker 28: get brushed under the rug because most people out there
- 1:08:26Speaker 28: would rather watch Netflix and scroll through and just live
- 1:08:30Speaker 28: like a zombie than actually realize what's going on. And
- 1:08:33Speaker 28: that's the sad part because those people's votes count the
- 1:08:36Speaker 28: exact same as my vote and most of the listeners
- 1:08:38Speaker 28: out there who are actually informed. And we've got to
- 1:08:43Speaker 28: have people that actually want to fix things do things
- 1:08:46Speaker 28: and understand things and let people know what's going on
- 1:08:49Speaker 28: because this is like a frog in a pot boiling slowly.
- 1:08:53Speaker 28: You don't even realize it's hot until it's too late.
- 1:08:58Speaker 28: Look at everything we've just been talking about the whole time.
- 1:09:01Speaker 28: Oh boy, the stock market went up 3.5%, 4% today. Congratulations.
- 1:09:06Speaker 28: I mean, what are we talking about? Again, you got
- 1:09:11Speaker 28: richer today nominally. If you look at the stock market,
- 1:09:15Speaker 28: even since 1971, priced in anything else, gold, you name it,
- 1:09:18Speaker 28: it's almost flat. When your dollar's less, you have more
- 1:09:22Speaker 28: of it, and it keeps buying you less. But people
- 1:09:25Speaker 28: can't comprehend that because they're not willing to put in
- 1:09:28Speaker 28: the work to understand it.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Yeah, it's of concern. Alec, I always appreciate your input.
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: I thank you. News Radio 570, Dodie Kivian and Ron Furb,
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: you're on the air.
- 1:09:41Speaker 7: Hi, Ron.
- 1:09:42Speaker 6: Hi.
- 1:09:42Speaker 29: I'm glad you're back. Anyhow, after all this, But I
- 1:09:48Speaker 29: say this, that Trump's not going to tell us everything
- 1:09:51Speaker 29: he's doing. And I go along with Ted. And many,
- 1:09:56Speaker 29: we're going through inflation. Many people know that, but they
- 1:09:59Speaker 29: don't seem to care.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: Stand by for me. Just stand by. I'll come right
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: back to you. After the break, it's 4.30. Ron Ferb,
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: NewsRadio 570 WKBN from the Kingdom of Mahoning. NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 1:10:13Speaker 30: The House Ethics Committee is opening an investigation into Max Miller.
- 1:10:18Speaker 30: Republican congressman who's the former son-in-law of Ohio Republican Senator
- 1:10:22Speaker 30: Bernie Moreno is under a deadline of tomorrow to make
- 1:10:25Speaker 30: a decision on whether to continue in the race for
- 1:10:28Speaker 30: re-election from Ohio's 7th District. If you like historic sites,
- 1:10:32Speaker 30: there's one in Cincinnati that's getting a lot of attention.
- 1:10:35Speaker 30: The Harriet Beecher Stowe House is enjoying a surge of
- 1:10:39Speaker 30: popularity since the completion of its restoration a couple of
- 1:10:43Speaker 30: years ago.
- 1:10:44Speaker 31: And since that time, we have seen about a 40%
- 1:10:48Speaker 31: increase in attendance.
- 1:10:49Speaker 30: Christina Hartlieb is executive director shortly after leaving Cincinnati. Harriet
- 1:10:55Speaker 30: Beecher Stowe wrote the legendary anti-slavery book, Uncle Tom's Cabin.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: I'm Matt Reese.
- 1:11:01Speaker 14: Listen on the free iHeartRadio app for all your music, news, talk,
- 1:11:05Speaker 14: and sports radio.
- 1:11:06Speaker 6: Podcasts, too.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: Download the app.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: Free.
- 1:11:10Speaker 15: Never sounded so good.
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: A to Z.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: On NewsRadio 570 WKBN. Back to it. NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: All right. Go ahead, dear.
- 1:11:20Speaker 32: Hi.
- 1:11:21Speaker 29: Excuse me. I have a cold. Anyhow, the key to
- 1:11:25Speaker 29: the whole thing is If we get back to God,
- 1:11:29Speaker 29: He said He can heal our nation. And I see
- 1:11:32Speaker 29: all these religious people, too, running around with purple hair
- 1:11:37Speaker 29: and tattoos all over them and all the restaurants and
- 1:11:40Speaker 29: just gobs of money and all that, too, on top
- 1:11:43Speaker 29: of it. And then we wonder why things go wrong. So,
- 1:11:48Speaker 29: to me, that's the key to the whole thing. And
- 1:11:53Speaker 29: we can do this or that, but... If we don't
- 1:11:56Speaker 29: obey God's word, we're in trouble. And Israel, especially when
- 1:12:00Speaker 29: we come against that nation, that's really bad too. Okay,
- 1:12:05Speaker 29: a little bit here after everybody said their thoughts. That's
- 1:12:09Speaker 29: how I feel. I'm glad you're back. God bless.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: All right. This woman wraps me around her finger with
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: that sweet little voice of hers I can't even get
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: upset with. I mean, you know, I can't say, well,
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: thanks for calling me old Badlax or anything because she
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: sounds so sweet and all that kind of stuff. You
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: totally disarm me with that. God bless. And that beautiful
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: little voice of yours.
- 1:12:32Speaker 29: Now you keep listening to... Charles Swindley, or what's his name?
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: I forget.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: I see you're so old, you can't even remember what
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: you're listening to anymore.
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: I know, I'm forgetting a lot anymore.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: Do you know what year it is? No, it doesn't matter.
- 1:12:46Speaker 29: It doesn't matter. I mean, we're running around like crazy.
- 1:12:49Speaker 29: We don't know what we're doing today. I mean, we
- 1:12:52Speaker 29: really do. A TV can really mess your mind up, Ron.
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:12:55Speaker 29: That's what's doing the kids in that telephone thing, messing
- 1:12:59Speaker 29: everybody up.
- 1:13:00Speaker 6: Really?
- 1:13:01Speaker 29: And we've got to pray like crazy. For all our
- 1:13:05Speaker 29: people and our leaders.
- 1:13:07Speaker 32: Yes.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:13:09Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:13:10Speaker 29: So what did you learn in Florida? You know that
- 1:13:14Speaker 29: back here is better.
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: Yet, huh?
- 1:13:16Speaker 29: Still better.
- 1:13:17Speaker 28: Oh, no.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: Florida's wonderful.
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: Oh, it's too hot.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: Oh, it's wonderful. It's absolutely wonderful. All right. Get out
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: of here, you.
- 1:13:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: All right. Goodbye. You're on air.
- 1:13:27Speaker 8: She's an assassin, I think.
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: She is not.
- 1:13:30Speaker 8: With that sweet voice, she's probably a killer.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: There he is. That Tigger laugh of his. It's J.J. J.J.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: the Trumpster, formerly known as J.J. the Liberal. He's like Prince.
- 1:13:42Speaker 11: He's a killer.
- 1:13:43Speaker 8: I guarantee you she's all that sweet voice and everything
- 1:13:45Speaker 8: while she's packing.
- 1:13:48Speaker 15: Heat.
- 1:13:49Speaker 8: She probably works with Ted going to Jersey to take
- 1:13:52Speaker 8: out people. He's always going to Jersey. I wonder why
- 1:13:55Speaker 8: he's going to Jersey.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: I wonder why he's going to Jersey all the time, too.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: You think he's kind of like the Sopranos type thing,
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: going to... Going up there with.
- 1:14:04Speaker 8: Tony and Vinny and all those guys.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: He's going up there to do a hit, huh? He's
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: going to do a job, yeah. How you doing? He's
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: going to do a job, going to do a hit.
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: How was your little trip.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Down to LA? It was good. Yes. I should have
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: taken you with me. But it was during spring training,
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: and you could have went over and... watch some spring training,
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: you know, bring it back to your baseball.
- 1:14:36Speaker 8: A couple of weddings. Yeah.
- 1:14:40Speaker 32: Yeah.
- 1:14:41Speaker 8: I would have, uh, it would have been, it would
- 1:14:44Speaker 8: have been nice. I'm glad you got a chance to
- 1:14:45Speaker 8: go and see your, your daughter and, and, um, you know,
- 1:14:48Speaker 8: it'll be, I get a break from all of us
- 1:14:50Speaker 8: up here.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: So get a break from all of you up here.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: I tell you what.
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:14:57Speaker 8: We did miss you, though.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: Thank you. I missed you, too.
- 1:15:01Speaker 8: And I was listening to Frank. He was... I have to..
- 1:15:07Speaker 15: You know, I love..
- 1:15:09Speaker 8: Uh, Teddy, I really do. Um, but I, it, it
- 1:15:12Speaker 8: is partially Trump's fault. The reason why we're in the
- 1:15:15Speaker 8: position that we're.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: In, he was making it better before he got into
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: this war situation. I mean, I, I.
- 1:15:23Speaker 8: Don't agree with my things, but yeah, I have to,
- 1:15:26Speaker 8: I have to concur, you know, that, that, that he was, uh,
- 1:15:28Speaker 8: doing some things that even us Democrats wanted done, you know,
- 1:15:32Speaker 8: whether you guys think we did or not. But we
- 1:15:33Speaker 8: wanted to, you know, we didn't want people here that don't,
- 1:15:36Speaker 8: not just the word belong, that they're not going to
- 1:15:40Speaker 8: contribute or they're going to, you know, they're going to,
- 1:15:43Speaker 8: you know, take away from, you know, they're going to
- 1:15:45Speaker 8: just make things more difficult for all of us, including
- 1:15:48Speaker 8: the people that, you know, that are their times, so
- 1:15:50Speaker 8: to speak, you know, from their own country. But I
- 1:15:53Speaker 8: believe you're right. And you even stated that for a
- 1:15:55Speaker 8: long time, that once you got away from that, And
- 1:15:58Speaker 8: we started spending money on that, and we're still spending,
- 1:16:00Speaker 8: you know, fistfuls of money, and it's just not getting
- 1:16:05Speaker 8: any better. You know, it really isn't. You know, today
- 1:16:07Speaker 8: I had to eat one of our cats today, for
- 1:16:09Speaker 8: crying out loud. It was so tough.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: You can't even joke about that today. You know that.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: Don't go there.
- 1:16:15Speaker 8: Hey, I'm an animal lover.
- 1:16:17Speaker 7: You know that.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: I know that. Who else stops in the middle of
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: traffic to go out to get a cat or dog
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: out of the road other than you?
- 1:16:24Speaker 31: Mm-hmm.
- 1:16:25Speaker 8: No, that is true. Every now and then I have
- 1:16:28Speaker 8: a tendency to throw a bad joke out there.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: And that was a bad one.
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: But it was not meant, you know.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: Yes. Sometimes you land it and sometimes you don't.
- 1:16:39Speaker 8: Yeah, of course. Most of the time I don't.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: I don't know. Lately you've been on a roll. This
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: is the first time that it did.
- 1:16:46Speaker 8: The vault was good, but the landing was bad.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: There you go. There you go.
- 1:16:52Speaker 8: I just think he's got to just watch things and,
- 1:16:53Speaker 8: you know, and again, you know, the other thing too is,
- 1:16:59Speaker 8: and I think you agree a little bit, it's the
- 1:17:01Speaker 8: A-double-S kissing that everybody's doing as far as, and they're not,
- 1:17:06Speaker 8: you know, they're not telling him the things that they
- 1:17:08Speaker 8: need to tell him, you know, that, you know, if
- 1:17:12Speaker 8: he's wrong about something or, They need to give a
- 1:17:14Speaker 8: different opinion, you know. And I just don't think they're
- 1:17:17Speaker 8: either not doing that to Trump or, you know, Trump
- 1:17:21Speaker 8: is not accepting any type of, you know, concerted criticism.
- 1:17:24Speaker 8: So that I worry about. And I think you and
- 1:17:27Speaker 8: I discussed that, too, also before. And that can be
- 1:17:31Speaker 8: kind of troublesome, you know.
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: Well, hey, listen. He's got us in a tough jam now.
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: I hope things work out.
- 1:17:40Speaker 13: But..
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: It hasn't worked out at this point in time and when,
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: and we shall see, listen, I'll be the first guy. I,
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: I would love to see there be some type of, uh,
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: agreement reached and this thing put behind us and we
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: could get back to doing the business of the American
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: people and, uh, and the America first agenda. That's what
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: I'd like to see.
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:18:01Speaker 8: And then, and then, you know, I have to disagree with, uh,
- 1:18:03Speaker 8: I don't know who said it a little bit earlier, but, uh, um,
- 1:18:06Speaker 8: you know, I think it might've been Ted. Um, but, uh, The,
- 1:18:10Speaker 8: you know, I can't even pronounce his name, Bibi, or whatever.
- 1:18:16Speaker 8: He had a lot, I think he misled him horribly.
- 1:18:19Speaker 8: And right now you just see that you don't hear
- 1:18:24Speaker 8: too much about Israel being involved in this. And it
- 1:18:28Speaker 8: seems like it was, it landed in our lap. And
- 1:18:31Speaker 8: we're taking the brunt of it. And, you know, I
- 1:18:34Speaker 8: would just like I agree with you guys. We shouldn't
- 1:18:37Speaker 8: be spending money overseas. We shouldn't be giving it to
- 1:18:40Speaker 8: different countries and taking care of everybody else's everybody else's
- 1:18:44Speaker 8: dirty laundry. But we you know what he's doing. We
- 1:18:48Speaker 8: got to, you know, I just think he's got to
- 1:18:50Speaker 8: just say that, you know, we want it. You know,
- 1:18:53Speaker 8: he's been, you know, in a lot of ways he's
- 1:18:54Speaker 8: been fooling us for a while to say we want it,
- 1:18:56Speaker 8: get our troops out of there and, you know, make
- 1:18:58Speaker 8: an agreement with Iran and get that straight opened up.
- 1:19:03Speaker 8: And sometimes, remember, you and I talked a couple months ago,
- 1:19:05Speaker 8: I'll leave you with this, is that sometimes you got
- 1:19:07Speaker 8: to You know, you've got to humble yourself and say,
- 1:19:10Speaker 8: you know, that even if he wants to fool it and,
- 1:19:13Speaker 8: you know, fool everybody and say, well, we won the
- 1:19:14Speaker 8: war and it's over and done with. But we've got
- 1:19:16Speaker 8: to get out of there, Ronnie, because it's only going
- 1:19:18Speaker 8: to get progressively worse. And then somebody is going to
- 1:19:20Speaker 8: get a little agitated. You know, they're going to bomb Iran.
- 1:19:23Speaker 8: They're going to bomb somebody over there. They're not going
- 1:19:25Speaker 8: to like it. And it's just going to escalate. But, again,
- 1:19:29Speaker 8: I appreciate everything you do, my friend, and it's good
- 1:19:31Speaker 8: to have you back.
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: And, you know..
- 1:19:35Speaker 8: He made it safely, so that's a good thing.
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: Amen. Thank you. J.J., the Trumpster.
- 1:19:39Speaker 6: You're cool, buddy.
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: All right, here on the air.
- 1:19:40Speaker 6: Hello.
- 1:19:41Speaker 11: Hey, Ron, I haven't talked to you in a couple weeks,
- 1:19:44Speaker 11: so give me a minute like J.J. First of all,
- 1:19:47Speaker 11: I want to mention something about Frank from Fort Lauderdale.
- 1:19:50Speaker 11: Three months ago, he said we were running out of ammunition.
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: Okay?
- 1:19:54Speaker 15: Well, we're not.
- 1:19:56Speaker 11: I want to make that comment. Secondly, the thing he's
- 1:20:01Speaker 11: doing with Iran, they're playing him, but He says this
- 1:20:04Speaker 11: is it. So you're not going to see an agreement
- 1:20:07Speaker 11: because Islam will not honor an agreement with an infidel.
- 1:20:12Speaker 11: So you're not going to see an agreement.
- 1:20:13Speaker 6: So, okay.
- 1:20:14Speaker 11: Secondly, oil just went down again, if you look.
- 1:20:20Speaker 9: On the oil thing.
- 1:20:20Speaker 11: I check that every day. But gas, Trump was yelling
- 1:20:25Speaker 11: at the producers of gas to come on down, you know,
- 1:20:29Speaker 11: to bring it down.
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: And..
- 1:20:32Speaker 11: That's them trying to reach profits. We live in America,
- 1:20:37Speaker 11: so there's nothing we can do about that unless they
- 1:20:41Speaker 11: decide to do that. The other thing is, on the
- 1:20:45Speaker 11: aspect of what's going on in this country, people think
- 1:20:49Speaker 11: the Democrats are going to win the midterms. You know,
- 1:20:51Speaker 11: they're all scared, blah, blah, blah, blah, because of the polls.
- 1:20:54Speaker 11: The hell with the polls. Listen, you can't elect... Democrat, socialist, communist.
- 1:21:03Speaker 11: Like the guy in Michigan. You know what I mean?
- 1:21:07Speaker 11: And did you hear what the Democrat said? I mean,
- 1:21:09Speaker 11: how about the Cajun man? He said if he gets elected,
- 1:21:13Speaker 11: he's quitting. And then Joe Manchin, same thing. And then
- 1:21:17Speaker 11: another Democrat, same thing. They're getting out of the party.
- 1:21:20Speaker 11: So what I'm saying is I'm not worried about the
- 1:21:24Speaker 11: midterms because these guys are making it easy for us
- 1:21:27Speaker 11: by saying... You know, no Senate. You know, more judges
- 1:21:33Speaker 11: on the Supreme Court. No president. I mean, come on, man.
- 1:21:37Speaker 11: I mean, you know, like the one guy says, they're
- 1:21:42Speaker 11: adding crazy sauce to everything. I mean, who's going to
- 1:21:44Speaker 11: vote that in? Now, we have to go out and
- 1:21:47Speaker 11: vote in the midterms. So everybody who's listening, vote in
- 1:21:51Speaker 11: the midterms, okay? And then last but not least, John
- 1:21:57Speaker 11: Fetterman's probably going to get out, too. He's sick of them.
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: Well, I don't know that he's going to get out.
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: He just disagrees with them. Fetterman actually is a pleasant surprise.
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: I mean, Fetterman is his own man, it appears to me.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: I find it interesting that the Democrat Party is trying
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: to find a male figure that's a male figure. And
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: they come up with some of these characters and they
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: try to make him more manly and it just falls
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: flat on their face. And I'm thinking, you guys don't
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: need to look any further than Fetterman. If you're looking
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: for a normal guy or a male figure for your party,
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: you should be looking at John Fetterman. You shouldn't be
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: trying to look at this guy running in Texas who
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: you go put in a truck to try and make
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: look more manly, or you're trying to make some guy
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: masculine for the Democrats. I mean, look, I don't know
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: why they ignore Fetterman. He would be their best choice.
- 1:22:53Speaker 6: And you know what else, too?
- 1:22:55Speaker 11: That girl, Sophie Cunningham. What a dream girl. I mean,
- 1:23:00Speaker 11: I wish I was younger. I tell you what, I'd
- 1:23:03Speaker 11: be pen-palling her. She's amazing. She's got a great attitude.
- 1:23:08Speaker 11: She backs up her teammates. You know, when she gets
- 1:23:11Speaker 11: beat up, she comes out and beats the person that
- 1:23:13Speaker 11: beats her up, uh, Oh, she's a black belt in jiu-jitsu.
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: I'll tell you, when you talk about sports, what's troubling
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: is how Kaitlyn Clark is treated. Oh, yeah, that's what
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: I mean. And Kaitlyn Clark, is she treated that way
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: because she's white and she's heterosexual? Is it because she's
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: white and heterosexual? She seems to be getting snubbed by
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: the WNBA. And she is the reason. She solely is
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: the reason, solely for the growth in attention in that sport.
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: She is the superstar of that sport, and it's like
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: they don't want to acknowledge it because she's white and heterosexual.
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: It's amazing to me, the stupidity.
- 1:23:57Speaker 11: And Sophie's standing behind her. You see her? And she's
- 1:24:01Speaker 11: doing great and, you know, going against the woke. And
- 1:24:05Speaker 11: she's still wearing all her sneakers and her T-shirts. So
- 1:24:09Speaker 11: the country loves her, too, you know? But like I say,
- 1:24:14Speaker 11: you know, we're going to overcome all this.
- 1:24:16Speaker 7: We are.
- 1:24:17Speaker 6: We're going to win.
- 1:24:18Speaker 11: And Trump, you know, nobody talks about all the things
- 1:24:22Speaker 11: he did last week and the week before. Do you
- 1:24:25Speaker 11: know what he did while you were gone on vacation?
- 1:24:29Speaker 11: He got truck drivers, veterans to drive trucks so that
- 1:24:33Speaker 11: we don't need illegals.
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: I thought that was a great idea.
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: Well, he's trying to get some of these states that
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: are giving these CDLs out with some degree of– I mean,
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: CDLs to people who can't even read the signs or
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: speak English.
- 1:24:49Speaker 11: That scares the heck out of me because I used
- 1:24:51Speaker 11: to travel down to Florida all the time.
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, and he wants to change that. He
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: wants to change that tremendously. All right. Absolutely. Thank you,
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: Bubba Ganoush, NewsRadio 570. Goodbye. You're on the air.
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: Ronnie.
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: It's the unknown caller.
- 1:25:06Speaker 11: Yes.
- 1:25:07Speaker 17: Hey, first of all, JJ, you know that cat joke?
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:25:11Speaker 17: I could just see now that he's a Trumpster, they're
- 1:25:14Speaker 17: going to say, yeah, new pandemic starts in Mahoning County
- 1:25:20Speaker 17: from saved cat or whatever.
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: Yeah. You're right. He better watch it now.
- 1:25:28Speaker 17: Yeah, yeah. It's not easy being a Trumpster.
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: Just saying.
- 1:25:32Speaker 17: Hey, did you take the Allegiant flight down there, Ronnie?
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: No, I took Breeze.
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: Breeze?
- 1:25:39Speaker 25: Oh, okay.
- 1:25:40Speaker 32: Wow.
- 1:25:41Speaker 17: I didn't know you had that kind of money, Ronnie.
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: Actually, I went out of the Akron-Canton airports and took Breeze,
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: which was a pleasant experience, actually.
- 1:25:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:25:53Speaker 17: Yeah, it's a nice drive there. But, yeah, also, was
- 1:25:59Speaker 17: that Patty, the old battle axe, as Such a sweet
- 1:26:03Speaker 17: soul now?
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: No, it's not Patty, the old battle axe. I don't
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: know what her first name is.
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:26:13Speaker 17: Maybe you don't know what you're talking about, Ronnie.
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: I don't recognize her as Patty. I forget what her
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: name is.
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:26:22Speaker 17: Hey, but, yeah, where do I start?
- 1:26:27Speaker 6: I guess I heard, I.
- 1:26:28Speaker 17: Think it was on Clay and Buck. that the crypto
- 1:26:33Speaker 17: was down today yes yeah um yeah i i i
- 1:26:40Speaker 17: have like i don't know maybe you know three grand
- 1:26:43Speaker 17: in crypto that i bought 10 years ago and i'm
- 1:26:47Speaker 17: i'm still down on it so i i don't know
- 1:26:50Speaker 17: what's going on with that but um hey the uh
- 1:26:56Speaker 17: the ticks you know like like the whole um tick
- 1:27:00Speaker 17: thing yes uh What is it, the white-spotted tick?
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the one that if it bites you, you
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: can't eat meat anymore. You hate meat.
- 1:27:11Speaker 32: Yeah.
- 1:27:12Speaker 6: What's going on with that, Ronnie?
- 1:27:13Speaker 17: Is that another one of.
- 1:27:15Speaker 32: You know..
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: I'm awful suspicious of it, like I told people, and
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: people don't pay attention. Lyme disease was created in a
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: military lab over in the New York area on an
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: island where we simply had a bio facility there where
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: they were experimenting with ticks, and they created Lyme disease.
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: I think they might have also done Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever.
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: But I know for certain Lyme disease, they didn't think
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: it would get off this island. But the birds flew
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: with these ticks on them and the deers swam onto
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: the main islands. And in turn, people started coming down
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: with something that we've never seen before called Lyme disease.
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: And in turn, that's why it's called Lyme disease, because
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: the community was like Lyme, New York or whatever. the
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: county was. So now I'm awful suspicious. I'll tell you,
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: all of a sudden you got this tick that if
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: it bites you, you can't eat meat. At a time
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: when Bill Gates was talking about we got to eat
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: less meat and eat this manufactured meat and stuff. Stand by,
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: Unknown Caller. Back with the Unknown Caller and more. 4.52
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: in the afternoon. Ron Burt from the Kingdom of Mahoning.
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: Nice to be back. Nice to be with you.
- 1:28:23Speaker 19: Your one stop for advertising?
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: Call 844-844-IHEART.
- 1:28:28Speaker 22: In this edition of the Marketers Report, Roe Kalinaros, Vice
- 1:28:31Speaker 22: President of Marketing for Omnicom, weighs in on today's splintered
- 1:28:35Speaker 22: media landscape.
- 1:28:36Speaker 19: The way consumers think and shop and interact.
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: With brands is more complex than ever.
- 1:28:43Speaker 31: Brands that can figure out how to move people and
- 1:28:45Speaker 31: how to connect.
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: Will be the brands that win.
- 1:28:47Speaker 22: As the number one audio company, iHeartMedia connects marketers to
- 1:28:50Speaker 22: the audience's live events and trusted influencers you need to grow.
- 1:28:54Speaker 22: If you're a marketer, go to iHeartAdvertising.com.
- 1:28:58Speaker 19: No required subscriptions, no trial period.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: And Talk Station 570 WKBN.
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: And Ron Verari, an unknown caller, what were you saying?
- 1:29:07Speaker 17: We were talking about the ticks. Is it like a
- 1:29:10Speaker 17: flesh-eating tick or something like that?
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: No, I mean, the typical tick, they get in you
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: and they... put this stuff in you. If you're asking me,
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: do I think that that tick was man-made? I do.
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: I mean, just as I said to you, Lyme disease
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: was that way. I had a cousin that died from
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: a tick bite with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. I have
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: a cousin who was in Tennessee, and he got bit
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: by a tick, and he died from Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever.
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: But Lyme disease was created in a lab, and I
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: think that it's what a coincidence Bill Gates talking about
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: we got to eat less meat. All of a sudden,
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: you have this tick that bites you, and then you
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: hate meat. Isn't that interesting?
- 1:29:51Speaker 17: It was only like a couple weeks or a couple months.
- 1:29:54Speaker 32: Later, right?
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it wasn't that long ago.
- 1:29:58Speaker 17: Hey, I know you don't like to go back in
- 1:30:01Speaker 17: the past, but in like 1978, gas was like $ 1. 79
- 1:30:03Speaker 17: a gallon, and the cars got like 10 miles a gallon.
- 1:30:09Speaker 17: So we all went through this before. It's like the
- 1:30:11Speaker 17: ebb and flow of everything. But today there are so
- 1:30:14Speaker 17: many more things that people are dependent on, like streaming services,
- 1:30:20Speaker 17: their phones. There's so much more expense going out and
- 1:30:24Speaker 17: basically caused by the computer age, I think. Back in
- 1:30:29Speaker 17: the day, it was like we got to get food
- 1:30:31Speaker 17: and gas for the car to get to work. And
- 1:30:33Speaker 17: now there's just so much other stuff that you got
- 1:30:37Speaker 17: to pay for. And people are just like, oh, I
- 1:30:39Speaker 17: need this, I need that, you know. So I think
- 1:30:43Speaker 17: that's a big part of the problem with the finances
- 1:30:47Speaker 17: of people today. Plus they got, you know, the charge
- 1:30:50Speaker 17: cards that they can't pay off.
- 1:30:53Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: I mean, if you're saying to me we got more
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: bills than our forefathers had, I would agree with that.
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: You had forefathers? Well, yeah, I had four of them.
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: I mean, you're talking about Internet, you're talking about cell phone, cable,
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: whatever the case might be.
- 1:31:11Speaker 17: You got gaming systems, you know.
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: And I think a lot of times people want to
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: start where their parents started, and it doesn't work that way.
- 1:31:23Speaker 17: Hey, Ron, the good thing is that the Mahoning County commissioners,
- 1:31:27Speaker 17: you know, they're here for us.
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: Yeah, they're here for you already.
- 1:31:33Speaker 6: So we got that going for us.
- 1:31:35Speaker 15: All right, Ronnie, I got to go.
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: All right, he's always got to go. He's the unknown caller.
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: NewsRadio 570 WKBN. Welcome to Tuesday, August 4th. It's 87 degrees.
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: Ron Verb from the Kingdom of Mahoning. Good to be
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: with you. Back after a couple days off. NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: Don't touch that dial. Don't shit air. Callers online, stand by.

- 1:31:53Speaker 2: You want to get on board with us?
- 1:31:54Speaker 6: 330-729-9977.

- 1:32:13Speaker 20: From ABC News, I'm Chuck Sievertson. The House Ethics Committee
- 1:32:20Speaker 20: today formally announced an investigation into Congressman Max Miller for
- 1:32:24Speaker 20: alleged domestic violence and abuse or illegal drug use. Miller
- 1:32:28Speaker 20: has denied allegations. Sources tell ABC News that President Trump
- 1:32:32Speaker 20: called Miller, telling him his re-election campaign's in jeopardy.
- 1:32:35Speaker 19: ABC's Peter Harlambus.
- 1:32:37Speaker 21: Miller has faced accusations of abuse by at least two
- 1:32:39Speaker 21: different women, former White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham and
- 1:32:43Speaker 21: Emily Moreno, the daughter of Senator Bernie Moreno of Ohio.
- 1:32:46Speaker 21: He told reporters today that he believes Miller's unfit for office.
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: My daughter lives in constant fear of this man.
- 1:32:53Speaker 21: Responding to Emily Moreno's accusations, including that he threw her
- 1:32:56Speaker 21: against a wall and held a gun to her head,
- 1:32:59Speaker 21: Miller tried to discredit his ex-wife.
- 1:33:01Speaker 3: If I had assaulted her, would she have offered to
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: cook me dinner six days later?
- 1:33:06Speaker 21: Miller's running for re-election, and he's denied the allegations, sued
- 1:33:10Speaker 21: both women for defamation, and called for a House ethics
- 1:33:12Speaker 21: investigation into his own conduct. Peter Haralambous, ABC News.

- 1:33:26Speaker 20: of people from their homes. He went to prison for
- 1:33:28Speaker 20: manslaughter in his father's 2010 killing in Arizona.
- 1:33:32Speaker 19: ABC's Alex Stone in Spokane.
- 1:33:34Speaker 33: Today, some of the evacuation orders are being lifted and
- 1:33:39Speaker 33: or they are being at least lessened where people can
- 1:33:43Speaker 33: start coming back. A lot of the evacuees are now
- 1:33:46Speaker 33: able to come in and start seeing what remains.
- 1:33:48Speaker 20: Acting Attorney General and AG nominee Todd Blanch has been
- 1:33:51Speaker 20: confirmed by the Senate Judiciary Committee. He can only afford
- 1:33:54Speaker 20: to lose two Republican votes in the full Senate vote ahead.
- 1:33:57Speaker 20: On Wall Street, the Dow and S & P 500
- 1:33:59Speaker 20: closed at new records as stocks rallied in hopes of
- 1:34:02Speaker 20: an Iran deal, lower oil prices, and strong corporate earnings.
- 1:34:06Speaker 19: Oil continued to drop, U.S.

- 1:35:34Speaker 20: than last year. There was no big winner in last
- 1:35:37Speaker 20: night's $ 753 million Powerball drawing. Tomorrow night's big prize up
- 1:35:41Speaker 20: to now $ 786 million. Suspicion or downright opposition to AI
- 1:35:46Speaker 20: data centers appears to cut across party lines. ABC's Jim
- 1:35:50Speaker 20: Ryan says Democrat-dominated New York was the first to impose
- 1:35:54Speaker 20: a moratorium on the facilities. Now, Deep Red Texas has
- 1:35:57Speaker 20: done the same. Governor Greg Abbott, once an ardent supporter
- 1:36:00Speaker 20: of data centers, has shut the door on new ones
- 1:36:03Speaker 20: until the state can audit their potential impact on public
- 1:36:06Speaker 20: water and power supplies. More than 330 data centers are
- 1:36:10Speaker 20: up and running in Texas, with another 250 on the
- 1:36:13Speaker 20: drawing board. Nate Rowett and his brother fishing on a
- 1:36:15Speaker 20: Massachusetts beach got the surprise of their lives reeling in
- 1:36:19Speaker 20: a five-foot tiger shark.
- 1:36:21Speaker 34: I saw those, you know, those horizontal, those lines, you know,
- 1:36:25Speaker 34: indicating that it was a tiger shark, which was super cool.
- 1:36:28Speaker 34: You know, immediately I started yelling at my brother. I
- 1:36:30Speaker 34: was like, you know, it's a tiger, it's a tiger shark.
- 1:36:33Speaker 34: And he was in disbelief.
- 1:36:34Speaker 20: Scientists say the tropical species showing up farther north because

- 1:36:45Speaker 1: On News Radio 570, WKBN.
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: And so good to be with you. Thanks for your patience.
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: 506 News Radio 570, WKBN. Welcome to a Tuesday afternoon.
- 1:36:56Speaker 2: Nice to be back with you after a couple days off.
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: It's 87 degrees. The sun is shining in my neck
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: of the woods. And some patient callers. We appreciate that.
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: You're on the air.
- 1:37:08Speaker 9: Hey, how you doing, Ron?
- 1:37:10Speaker 2: I'm doing well. Thank you for calling.
- 1:37:12Speaker 9: Thank you for coming back. I wanted to share something
- 1:37:17Speaker 9: with you because I think this will help to answer
- 1:37:23Speaker 9: some questions for me. I was scrolling through Facebook and
- 1:37:29Speaker 9: I got some reels from this I don't know what
- 1:37:33Speaker 9: this company or person or whatever. And it's called Taniaka Lab. Okay.
- 1:37:45Speaker 9: And I'll spell it later. But basically, it talks about, like,
- 1:37:51Speaker 9: what's going on with the war and geopolitical stuff. I
- 1:37:57Speaker 9: think it's powered by A.I., And a lot of things
- 1:38:02Speaker 9: make sense. And it speaks very plainly, takes one particular
- 1:38:11Speaker 9: thing at a time and explains it. For example, they
- 1:38:16Speaker 9: were talking about Iran. And we wonder, why is Iran saying, yeah,
- 1:38:20Speaker 9: we want a deal? No, we're not going to make
- 1:38:22Speaker 9: a deal. Yeah, we want a deal. Well, basically, it
- 1:38:26Speaker 9: said that Iran is also a government, like America, that
- 1:38:32Speaker 9: is fighting against itself. They've got the hardliners who, you know,
- 1:38:38Speaker 9: want to have the Ayatollah and prop him up and
- 1:38:42Speaker 9: everything and are part of the Royal Guard. And then
- 1:38:47Speaker 9: you have moderates. Now, moderates want to stabilize the economy,
- 1:38:52Speaker 9: and if it's stabilized, then they figure they'll get the power.
- 1:38:56Speaker 9: So basically, the two of them are fighting there for power.
- 1:39:01Speaker 9: And the reason that the Royal Guard is so adamant
- 1:39:05Speaker 9: about not having peace is because they do all this
- 1:39:11Speaker 9: black market and smuggling and everything else to the tune
- 1:39:14Speaker 9: of about $ 30 billion. So they've got an empire that's
- 1:39:19Speaker 9: built on Iran having sanctions. If there ends up being peace,
- 1:39:25Speaker 9: their whole business model falls apart. So they are going
- 1:39:30Speaker 9: back and forth there because, again, because money. But, you know,
- 1:39:36Speaker 9: when I thought about it, it makes sense. Why would
- 1:39:40Speaker 9: they say, yeah, we want to have peace or we
- 1:39:42Speaker 9: want to talk No, we're not going to talk. And
- 1:39:47Speaker 9: it was the moderates who came up and, you know,
- 1:39:51Speaker 9: did that agreement. But the Royal Guard is fighting against it.
- 1:39:57Speaker 9: But basically, it was just one point. But there were
- 1:40:03Speaker 9: several points. It talked about the different straits and how
- 1:40:07Speaker 9: everybody's got to reroute their oil and and what China's
- 1:40:12Speaker 9: doing with North Korea, what this one's doing. And there's
- 1:40:17Speaker 9: a whole lot of geopolitical stuff going on that we...
- 1:40:22Speaker 9: It's not just as simple as what we're trying to
- 1:40:25Speaker 9: make it. And so the name of this, just in
- 1:40:30Speaker 9: case anybody out there wants to look it up, C-H-A-N-A-K-Y-A...
- 1:40:38Speaker 9: dot lab, L-A-B. But like I said, it's powered by AI.
- 1:40:44Speaker 9: I tried to look into it more, but I was
- 1:40:46Speaker 9: just fascinated by each one of these points, and they
- 1:40:51Speaker 9: make it very simple, and all it is is a map,
- 1:40:54Speaker 9: and he draws, you know, he writes things and draws
- 1:40:58Speaker 9: lines and shows, you know, shows you in that respect,
- 1:41:02Speaker 9: and it really has helped a lot to answer some questions.
- 1:41:05Speaker 9: So anyhow... I just wanted to share that. And then
- 1:41:08Speaker 9: I have one more thing to say.
- 1:41:11Speaker 2: Yes, I'm all ears.
- 1:41:13Speaker 9: Okay. So years ago, years and years, I saw this cartoon.
- 1:41:18Speaker 9: I wish I could have, I wish I could have
- 1:41:20Speaker 9: would have ripped it out because I did a lot
- 1:41:22Speaker 9: of that. But there, the cartoon was, there's a guy
- 1:41:26Speaker 9: who's sitting on a bus and he's looking out the
- 1:41:31Speaker 9: window and down below the bus is a really cool guy,
- 1:41:36Speaker 9: a in a convertible sports car. And it said, the Democratic...
- 1:41:45Speaker 9: Excuse me. Conservative Republican looks down at that car and says,
- 1:41:53Speaker 9: one day I'll be driving a car like that. And
- 1:41:57Speaker 9: the Democratic Socialist looks down and says, one day you'll
- 1:42:00Speaker 9: be riding the bus with me.
- 1:42:02Speaker 15: I just thought..
- 1:42:07Speaker 9: And, you know, I've remembered that for all these years.
- 1:42:11Speaker 9: And it is when young people ask and if they
- 1:42:17Speaker 9: aspire to have nice things, I mean, that's as simple
- 1:42:22Speaker 9: as it can get. They want us to ride the bus.
- 1:42:27Speaker 9: You know, we want them to aspire to a convertible car.
- 1:42:32Speaker 7: Anyhow.
- 1:42:32Speaker 2: There you go. All right. Thank you. You're on air. Hello.
- 1:42:37Speaker 32: Mr. Verb, how are you today? I want you to
- 1:42:39Speaker 32: know I'm taking a break from my duties outside cleaning
- 1:42:44Speaker 32: up my yard. And I thought I'd come in and
- 1:42:47Speaker 32: say hello to you.
- 1:42:48Speaker 2: What exactly do you have to clean up?
- 1:42:53Speaker 32: I've got different beds of flowers and I've got different
- 1:42:57Speaker 32: beds of different things that I need to clean up because...
- 1:43:03Speaker 32: You got the creeping Charlie coming around, and you got
- 1:43:06Speaker 32: all this other junk that takes over the area, so
- 1:43:09Speaker 32: you got to clean it up.
- 1:43:11Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 1:43:12Speaker 32: You know what creeping Charlie is.
- 1:43:14Speaker 2: Yeah, he was peeping in my windows the other night.
- 1:43:17Speaker 2: Is that creeping Charlie?
- 1:43:18Speaker 32: I bet he was. He can't wait to get to
- 1:43:22Speaker 32: your house.
- 1:43:23Speaker 2: I mean, I thought a guy like you of your
- 1:43:25Speaker 2: stature would have gardeners do that type of work.
- 1:43:29Speaker 32: I like, well, if you remember, I told you... A
- 1:43:33Speaker 32: couple of weeks ago, we might have to break up
- 1:43:36Speaker 32: because I have things to do and I don't have
- 1:43:38Speaker 32: time to sit on the radio for an hour waiting
- 1:43:41Speaker 32: for Mr. Verb to say hello to me.
- 1:43:44Speaker 2: I know, and that disturbed me a great deal.
- 1:43:48Speaker 32: I bet it did.
- 1:43:49Speaker 2: Yes, it did.
- 1:43:50Speaker 32: Yeah, I'm sure. But the last couple of days off,
- 1:43:56Speaker 32: did you have... Nice vacation, or did you have to
- 1:44:00Speaker 32: work harder?
- 1:44:00Speaker 2: No, I had a nice time off. I was visiting
- 1:44:04Speaker 2: my daughter.
- 1:44:08Speaker 32: Outstanding.
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: Right. Does it get any better than that now, does it?
- 1:44:12Speaker 32: No, it does not. I did that about a week
- 1:44:14Speaker 32: and a half ago. We came back on the 22nd,
- 1:44:17Speaker 32: whatever that is.
- 1:44:18Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:44:18Speaker 32: You know what I mean?
- 1:44:19Speaker 10: Out of time.
- 1:44:25Speaker 2: Right, right, right, right. But I'm trying to picture you
- 1:44:28Speaker 2: slaving away out there with the... Who's this Creep Charlie?
- 1:44:32Speaker 2: Is he your next-door neighbor or somebody?
- 1:44:34Speaker 32: No, it's called Creeping Charlie.
- 1:44:36Speaker 2: Oh, is he your next-door neighbor?
- 1:44:38Speaker 32: No, no, no, no, no. It's the Creeping Charlie that
- 1:44:42Speaker 32: takes over my lawn if I don't take care of it.
- 1:44:45Speaker 2: Well, don't you get it..
- 1:44:45Speaker 32: I fertilize, I do everything I can to keep it away,
- 1:44:49Speaker 32: but it just keeps popping up.
- 1:44:51Speaker 2: Don't you get it sprayed or treated or something?
- 1:44:54Speaker 4: I do.
- 1:44:54Speaker 32: I do. But my neighbor doesn't take as good a
- 1:44:59Speaker 32: care of his lawn as I do mine.
- 1:45:02Speaker 2: There's always one in every neighborhood.
- 1:45:04Speaker 11: Well, I guess we.
- 1:45:06Speaker 18: Have two of them.
- 1:45:07Speaker 32: The one on the other side is the same way.
- 1:45:10Speaker 32: So anyway..
- 1:45:13Speaker 2: That really sucks. You always see that. I don't care
- 1:45:15Speaker 2: what neighborhood you go into. There always seems to be
- 1:45:18Speaker 2: one person. It just doesn't seem like they give a damn,
- 1:45:21Speaker 2: which I always wonder when that's the case. Well, why
- 1:45:23Speaker 2: did you move to that neighborhood in the first place then?
- 1:45:25Speaker 2: If you can see all these places are nice and
- 1:45:28Speaker 2: you come and you have no desire to do that, well,
- 1:45:30Speaker 2: go where everyone else has that same mentality.
- 1:45:33Speaker 32: Well, there you go. I'm glad you said it because
- 1:45:36Speaker 32: the backyard of this person that lives next door to
- 1:45:39Speaker 32: me is like A jungle. And like you said, why
- 1:45:43Speaker 32: move into this neighborhood and let that happen? So I
- 1:45:47Speaker 32: guess I'm going to have to do something as far
- 1:45:49Speaker 32: as going downtown and talking to the mayor and blah, blah, blah.
- 1:45:54Speaker 32: I'm too old to confront somebody with that crap. They
- 1:46:00Speaker 32: just don't take care of it anyway.
- 1:46:03Speaker 2: Yeah, where's your zoning and that kind of stuff if
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: they don't cut your grass and that kind of stuff? Well,
- 1:46:08Speaker 2: call the zoning department.
- 1:46:10Speaker 32: Yeah, there you go. I'll write that one, Sony.
- 1:46:13Speaker 28: Right.
- 1:46:14Speaker 2: I mean, what seems to be the problem? They're just
- 1:46:15Speaker 2: bum neighbors, right?
- 1:46:17Speaker 32: They're just... And they planted these tomatoes and peppers in
- 1:46:24Speaker 32: these great big barrels, tin barrels, and they put dirt
- 1:46:27Speaker 32: in it. And these things are just growing all over
- 1:46:30Speaker 32: the place in the back. It's terrible.
- 1:46:33Speaker 4: It's terrible.
- 1:46:35Speaker 2: Right, and it looks awful. Here you are in your
- 1:46:38Speaker 2: pristine mansion, you know, in your elite neighborhood, and you
- 1:46:45Speaker 2: keep your lawn manicured. Obviously, times are tough because of
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: Trump that you're out there doing it yourself. You had
- 1:46:52Speaker 2: to let your gardening staff go. So you're out there
- 1:46:54Speaker 2: doing it yourself, and you look over at the neighbor's place,
- 1:46:57Speaker 2: and they just don't give a damn.
- 1:47:00Speaker 32: That's the bottom line, my friend. That's the bottom line,
- 1:47:03Speaker 32: and I'm not being the— I'm not trying to be,
- 1:47:06Speaker 32: you ever hear the word persnickety?
- 1:47:09Speaker 2: No, I mean, you're just trying to say, listen, put
- 1:47:11Speaker 2: a little damn pride into your house and in your property.
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: Is it asking too much to pick up the crap,
- 1:47:17Speaker 2: mow your lawn, and to keep your place neat? I mean,
- 1:47:22Speaker 2: can't you see that's what we got going on over here?
- 1:47:25Speaker 2: Why do you live there if you're not willing to
- 1:47:27Speaker 2: do that? Go live somewhere with other bums then.
- 1:47:31Speaker 32: So the zoning department will maybe get some results.
- 1:47:35Speaker 2: Yeah, you never know until you call and ask. Yeah,
- 1:47:38Speaker 2: I mean, they've got a zoning department. Call and ask
- 1:47:42Speaker 2: what direction I could go. Here's what my problem is.
- 1:47:44Speaker 2: Who's going to help me solve it? You can easily,
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: either the zoning department, sometimes you've got a community police officer.
- 1:47:50Speaker 2: They might be able to assist you in that as well.
- 1:47:54Speaker 32: But I also wanted to mention.
- 1:47:56Speaker 2: Now, if none of that works up, And it works
- 1:47:58Speaker 2: out for you. If Ted the Conservative comes back from
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: New Jersey, I'll send him over there to rough the
- 1:48:03Speaker 2: person up a little bit. When he's done in Jersey.
- 1:48:06Speaker 32: When he's done in Jersey.
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: Well, he does go to Jersey a lot, and people
- 1:48:10Speaker 2: are getting a little suspicious.
- 1:48:12Speaker 32: What's going on in Jersey? What's going on there?
- 1:48:14Speaker 2: I don't know what's going on. He's going to Jersey
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: all the time, and I'm beginning to wonder, like these
- 1:48:18Speaker 2: people are saying. What's Ted the Conservative? up to?
- 1:48:23Speaker 32: Well, maybe he's going to hook up with the people
- 1:48:28Speaker 32: that contacted the Department of Justice or whoever it was
- 1:48:33Speaker 32: that contacted Sammy the Bull to try to find out.
- 1:48:38Speaker 32: What was it about now? I can't remember. What the
- 1:48:41Speaker 32: heck was that about? They contacted Sandy the Bull.
- 1:48:49Speaker 2: Yeah, and he took care of it. And he took
- 1:48:53Speaker 2: care of business.
- 1:48:55Speaker 30: Yeah.
- 1:48:56Speaker 32: Now, the Department of Justice, they actually did this, contacted
- 1:49:02Speaker 32: him to find out what they were trying to find out.
- 1:49:06Speaker 32: I mean, come on. Maybe that's why your buddy's there, too. Yeah,
- 1:49:09Speaker 32: hanging around with the Jersey boys.
- 1:49:11Speaker 2: Yeah, he's out there in Jersey. You know, he goes
- 1:49:13Speaker 2: out there. You know, he goes out there with another guy.
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: I don't know if you've ever heard of him. His name, Creepin' Charlie.
- 1:49:20Speaker 32: No, no, I never heard. I've heard of. I've heard of.
- 1:49:25Speaker 32: Are there names in this town?
- 1:49:27Speaker 30: No, no.
- 1:49:27Speaker 32: They're associated with those people, but never Creepin' Charlie.
- 1:49:31Speaker 2: They're driving out there together. He's had the conservative and Creepin'
- 1:49:34Speaker 2: Charlie going to Jersey.
- 1:49:35Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:49:36Speaker 32: I just want to know, you know that this is
- 1:49:39Speaker 32: probably turned into the Salem witch hunt that's going on
- 1:49:42Speaker 32: with this administration?
- 1:49:44Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 1:49:45Speaker 32: That's what I equate it to.
- 1:49:47Speaker 2: What?
- 1:49:47Speaker 32: The Salem witch hunt.
- 1:49:49Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 1:49:51Speaker 32: As far as what the whole administration is trying to do.
- 1:49:56Speaker 32: It's everything that they are trying to, everybody that they
- 1:50:00Speaker 32: have tried to bring charges against, you know what's happened?
- 1:50:05Speaker 7: Nothing.
- 1:50:06Speaker 32: They have convicted no one. No convictions whatsoever. All this
- 1:50:11Speaker 32: is is the Salem witch hunt of the 1650s in 2026.
- 1:50:18Speaker 32: That's all it is.
- 1:50:21Speaker 2: Say that again. Give me that again.
- 1:50:25Speaker 32: All the people that the Trump administration, the Department of Justice,
- 1:50:29Speaker 32: is trying to put in jail, bring charges against, Anybody
- 1:50:35Speaker 32: that they try to do that to, nothing has ever stick.
- 1:50:40Speaker 32: Nothing sticks. It's all been a big mush burger. A nothing.
- 1:50:48Speaker 32: You know what Salem witch hunt is, don't you?
- 1:50:50Speaker 2: Yeah, but don't you think Trump was a victim of
- 1:50:52Speaker 2: a lot of those witch hunts? I mean, that took place?
- 1:50:55Speaker 2: I can't think of any guy that was more persecuted.
- 1:50:58Speaker 32: I couldn't think of a better guy to have all
- 1:51:00Speaker 32: these people after him than Mr.
- 1:51:03Speaker 4: Trump.
- 1:51:03Speaker 12: He is..
- 1:51:04Speaker 32: He is with..
- 1:51:06Speaker 11: Come on.
- 1:51:06Speaker 32: Come on.
- 1:51:08Speaker 2: Well, it seems like you guys... It seems to me..
- 1:51:09Speaker 32: They went to the mob.
- 1:51:11Speaker 6: Costa Nostra.
- 1:51:12Speaker 32: They went to them to find out a certain thing.
- 1:51:16Speaker 32: And he's going to... You're supposed to believe whatever would
- 1:51:19Speaker 32: come out of his mouth? Are you... You people have got... No,
- 1:51:24Speaker 32: I don't want to say you people. It's getting so stupid.
- 1:51:28Speaker 32: Everything is out there. It's just all one... Like the
- 1:51:31Speaker 32: woman was just talking about Iran and all that over there.
- 1:51:36Speaker 32: That should have never happened. It should have never happened.
- 1:51:40Speaker 32: Everything was in place to keep that nuclear program under check.
- 1:51:45Speaker 32: And here we are. All he's doing is... manipulating the market, period.
- 1:51:52Speaker 32: You know he's made over $ 2 billion in this last
- 1:51:57Speaker 32: go-around with being president. He's made over $ 2 billion.
- 1:52:03Speaker 2: Stand by. Let me do my commercials. I'm back with
- 1:52:06Speaker 2: Fifth Avenue. News Radio 570, WKBN. I'll be right back.
- 1:52:14Speaker 1: If you run a business, you know, 570 WKBN.
- 1:52:17Speaker 2: Seems to me you've got a double standard when it
- 1:52:19Speaker 2: comes to Trump, you know, with all the persecution that
- 1:52:22Speaker 2: the Biden Justice Department did against him and his family. Hell,
- 1:52:25Speaker 2: they tried to debank the guy and his entire family,
- 1:52:28Speaker 2: not just him, his wife, his kids, and all that
- 1:52:30Speaker 2: kind of stuff. I mean, that was how reprehensible the
- 1:52:33Speaker 2: Biden administration was. I didn't hear you calling, pointing that out.
- 1:52:37Speaker 2: But now you're saying, well..
- 1:52:39Speaker 32: Everything they did was justified.
- 1:52:41Speaker 2: Oh, I see.
- 1:52:43Speaker 32: The Biden administration, whatever they did was justified.
- 1:52:47Speaker 2: I see.
- 1:52:48Speaker 32: Now he's going to have immunity when he gets out
- 1:52:51Speaker 32: of office of all his taxes. Are you kidding me?
- 1:52:56Speaker 32: Are you kidding me?
- 1:52:57Speaker 12: Come on.
- 1:52:59Speaker 2: I see. It sounds to me like you've got a
- 1:53:00Speaker 2: double standard.
- 1:53:02Speaker 32: No, there's no double standard here. It's just that you
- 1:53:05Speaker 32: and the Republicans, you just don't want to admit the truth.
- 1:53:08Speaker 32: Everything that comes out of that guy's mouth is a lie.
- 1:53:11Speaker 32: You know that. It's a complete lie. I can't believe
- 1:53:16Speaker 32: anything that the Department of Defense says or any Trump
- 1:53:21Speaker 32: or Blanchard. It's all lies.
- 1:53:25Speaker 2: Well, there is a lot of exaggeration. Not exaggeration. Like
- 1:53:31Speaker 2: when he said an agreement is near with Iran, what,
- 1:53:35Speaker 2: a couple months ago, yeah?
- 1:53:37Speaker 32: Todd Blanch, whatever this guy wants, he gives it to.
- 1:53:43Speaker 7: Him.
- 1:53:43Speaker 32: Whatever lie that comes out of this man's mouth, come on,
- 1:53:47Speaker 32: it's out in the open. It's obvious. You don't have
- 1:53:51Speaker 32: to be a Philadelphia lawyer to figure this stuff out.
- 1:53:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and Blanche was his personal attorney. I get that.
- 1:53:57Speaker 2: You know, I understand that.
- 1:54:00Speaker 32: Ron, I know, I know deep in your heart, you
- 1:54:05Speaker 32: know what I'm talking about is the truth. But you
- 1:54:09Speaker 32: are not, you are not going to want, you don't
- 1:54:11Speaker 32: want to upset your Republican callers that called into you.
- 1:54:15Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:54:15Speaker 32: And I know in your heart, you believe what I'm
- 1:54:19Speaker 32: telling you is the truth. This guy, the... threat to
- 1:54:23Speaker 32: our national security at this time is Donald Trump he
- 1:54:30Speaker 32: is the biggest threat to our national security he is
- 1:54:35Speaker 32: manipulating the market beyond belief he's making more money than
- 1:54:40Speaker 32: Pelosi and all the rest of them combined for the
- 1:54:43Speaker 32: last 50 years and nobody says anything nobody wants to
- 1:54:49Speaker 32: say anything about it Everybody just kind of... Oh, that's
- 1:54:53Speaker 32: Donald Trump. What do you... What is this country... What
- 1:54:57Speaker 32: do you think this country is going to come to?
- 1:54:59Speaker 32: It's going to come to anarchy. If you don't take
- 1:55:04Speaker 32: care of this problem.
- 1:55:09Speaker 2: Jesus.
- 1:55:10Speaker 32: I'm better off siding the sunshine.
- 1:55:12Speaker 2: No, you're not. No, you're not. You're better off siding
- 1:55:15Speaker 2: the air conditioning.
- 1:55:15Speaker 32: I'm better off the sunshine. See, that's why... That's the
- 1:55:18Speaker 32: other reason I..
- 1:55:19Speaker 4: Because..
- 1:55:21Speaker 32: It's upside down. Everything is upside down with this guy. Again,
- 1:55:25Speaker 32: it is as obvious as the nose on your... Nothing
- 1:55:29Speaker 32: is being done in smoky back rooms anymore. It's being
- 1:55:33Speaker 32: done right in front of your face.
- 1:55:36Speaker 2: Now, did you vote for Kamala Harris?
- 1:55:40Speaker 32: I voted for Joe Biden.
- 1:55:42Speaker 2: Well, anyway, he didn't run against Trump. He ran the
- 1:55:49Speaker 2: first time. I'm talking when Trump just won his last election.
- 1:55:54Speaker 32: No, I did not.
- 1:55:55Speaker 7: No.
- 1:55:55Speaker 2: You didn't vote for Harris?
- 1:55:59Speaker 32: And I'm not going to vote for Harris.
- 1:56:02Speaker 2: And you didn't vote for Trump.
- 1:56:03Speaker 32: And men should not be in women's sports. And men
- 1:56:08Speaker 32: can't have babies. And you've asked me these things a
- 1:56:12Speaker 32: thousand times.
- 1:56:13Speaker 2: I was just asking. So you didn't vote for Harris
- 1:56:16Speaker 2: and you didn't vote for Trump. That's all I'm asking.
- 1:56:18Speaker 2: I'm just trying to get a read on you.
- 1:56:21Speaker 32: Well, what do you want to read? I am anti-Trump
- 1:56:25Speaker 32: to the core. To the core.
- 1:56:29Speaker 2: I mean, so you don't think he's, you just can't
- 1:56:32Speaker 2: stand the guy? Or is it his policies? Or both?
- 1:56:35Speaker 32: It's both. It's both. This guy is the biggest grifter, liar, thief.
- 1:56:44Speaker 32: Unimaginable proportions. And the Todd Blanches and the rest of
- 1:56:49Speaker 32: those sycophants that he has, allow him to get away
- 1:56:54Speaker 32: with what he's getting away with. I just hope, I'm
- 1:56:58Speaker 32: hoping beyond hope, That come November, I'm hoping beyond hope
- 1:57:04Speaker 32: that the landslide happens. Do I want the alternative? No.
- 1:57:09Speaker 32: I understand what the alternative is with a lot of that.
- 1:57:14Speaker 32: I don't want the democratic socialism either. I don't want that.
- 1:57:18Speaker 32: I don't want that to happen.
- 1:57:19Speaker 2: Stand by. Stand by. I'll let you finish your thought.
- 1:57:22Speaker 2: I'll let you finish in a minute.
- 1:57:27Speaker 30: The House Ethics Committee is opening an investigation into Max Miller.
- 1:57:32Speaker 30: Republican congressman who's the former son-in-law of Ohio Republican Senator
- 1:57:36Speaker 30: Bernie Moreno is under a deadline of tomorrow to make
- 1:57:39Speaker 30: a decision on whether to continue in the race for
- 1:57:42Speaker 30: re-election from Ohio's 7th District. If you like historic sites,
- 1:57:47Speaker 30: there's one in Cincinnati that's getting a lot of attention.
- 1:57:50Speaker 30: The Harriet Beecher Stowe House is enjoying a surge of
- 1:57:54Speaker 30: popularity since the completion of its restoration a couple of
- 1:57:57Speaker 30: years ago.
- 1:57:58Speaker 31: And since that time, we have seen about a 40%
- 1:58:02Speaker 31: increase in attendance.
- 1:58:03Speaker 30: Christina Hartlieb is executive director shortly after leaving Cincinnati. Harriet
- 1:58:09Speaker 30: Beecher Stowe. wrote the legendary anti-slavery book, Uncle Tom's Cabin.
- 1:58:14Speaker 2: I'm Matt Reese.
- 1:58:15Speaker 14: Listen on the free iHeartRadio app for all your music, news, talk,
- 1:58:19Speaker 14: and sports radio.
- 1:58:20Speaker 6: Podcasts, too.
- 1:58:21Speaker 2: Download the app. Free never sounded so good.
- 1:58:26Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 1:58:38Speaker 2: All right. Well, I'm deeply troubled by your hatred of Trump.
- 1:58:46Speaker 32: Hatred? It's... It's standing up for what's right. It's standing
- 1:58:54Speaker 32: up for what the Constitution says. Not letting someone, I
- 1:58:59Speaker 32: don't care who it is, step all over it like
- 1:59:01Speaker 32: this guy has done. And you know I'm speaking the truth.
- 1:59:05Speaker 32: You know it. I'm not some... You know I'm speaking
- 1:59:11Speaker 32: the truth. And this guy is stepping all over it.
- 1:59:14Speaker 32: He's giving this country... I mean, other countries can't stand
- 1:59:19Speaker 32: this anymore because of what he's done. I probably have
- 1:59:27Speaker 32: 50 things in front of me right here that I
- 1:59:30Speaker 32: could talk about until next week. The impeachable offenses of
- 1:59:36Speaker 32: Donald Trump. I'm going to read you five of them.
- 1:59:42Speaker 2: These are just Democratic talking points.
- 1:59:44Speaker 32: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's that's
- 1:59:47Speaker 32: not true. That's not.
- 1:59:48Speaker 7: No.
- 1:59:49Speaker 32: Get away from that Republican talking points. And this is
- 1:59:53Speaker 32: the truth. It isn't. Every Republican. Well, but most of
- 2:00:01Speaker 32: them are. Most of them under his tutelage. They're they're
- 2:00:04Speaker 32: they're enamored by him.
- 2:00:06Speaker 18: They're afraid of him.
- 2:00:09Speaker 32: He pardoned 1,500 right-wing domestic terrorists that attacked America, and
- 2:00:16Speaker 32: he wants to pay them $ 1. 8 billion of your money. Now,
- 2:00:24Speaker 32: if that isn't the worst situation that you could come,
- 2:00:30Speaker 32: that is just unbelievable to even think that up. These
- 2:00:35Speaker 32: people that broke into the Capitol, who wants to pay
- 2:00:38Speaker 32: them money, your money? You don't say anything about it.
- 2:00:44Speaker 32: Hubbard refuses to obey court orders, tries to refuse due process,
- 2:00:49Speaker 32: weakens the environmental laws, threatens and mocks our allies, refuses
- 2:00:54Speaker 32: to condemn Russian invasion of Ukraine, tries to limit freedom
- 2:00:58Speaker 32: of speech of any political opponent. These aren't lies. These
- 2:01:03Speaker 32: aren't talking points. These are truths.
- 2:01:07Speaker 2: These are Democrat opinions.
- 2:01:09Speaker 32: Oh, my God. Oh, sweet Jesus.
- 2:01:11Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:01:12Speaker 32: Oh, sweet Jesus.
- 2:01:14Speaker 2: I think you've been in the heat too long today.
- 2:01:17Speaker 32: I'm sorry. I feel bad. I do. I feel bad
- 2:01:21Speaker 32: that you think like that. I do. I'm not trying
- 2:01:24Speaker 32: to convert you to anything. I'm not trying to... I'm
- 2:01:27Speaker 32: not trying... I'm really not. Now, if you... The Republicans
- 2:01:33Speaker 32: have told lies... It's for so long that it has
- 2:01:38Speaker 32: turned into truth. And you know I'm telling the truth.
- 2:01:43Speaker 2: All right. Go get Creepin' Charlie.
- 2:01:47Speaker 32: I got more.
- 2:01:48Speaker 2: No, that's enough. I can't.
- 2:01:50Speaker 32: You can't take it.
- 2:01:51Speaker 2: I can't take any more.
- 2:01:52Speaker 32: You have your choices.
- 2:01:55Speaker 2: All right. See you. You're on air.
- 2:02:00Speaker 15: Well, maybe you should take two days off because this
- 2:02:03Speaker 15: has been a great show. But to start off with
- 2:02:06Speaker 15: the last conversation we had, I want to apologize to
- 2:02:09Speaker 15: you for that because I really, really, really blew my top,
- 2:02:14Speaker 15: you know, just like the last caller. And as much
- 2:02:17Speaker 15: as I can stand, I couldn't stand anymore. So for that,
- 2:02:21Speaker 15: I will apologize. You always tell me don't bite your tongue.
- 2:02:24Speaker 15: And as far as Bubba Ganuch goes, listen. Maybe back
- 2:02:28Speaker 15: in the day he might be able to dance like
- 2:02:30Speaker 15: a clinger. But I've seen that man dance now.
- 2:02:32Speaker 2: Ain't no woman going.
- 2:02:33Speaker 15: To be with him. That ain't going to happen. Now,
- 2:02:35Speaker 15: as far as the lady they call, this tweet race, a.k.a.
- 2:02:43Speaker 2: Battle Action.
- 2:02:43Speaker 6: Yes.
- 2:02:46Speaker 15: I want her to know, right, that I pray all
- 2:02:49Speaker 15: the time. I'm like you, Rob. I raise dollars. And
- 2:02:52Speaker 15: when you raise a girl, you pray all the time.
- 2:02:58Speaker 15: So there's nothing wrong with praying, and I believe a
- 2:03:00Speaker 15: lot more people are praying than they're getting credit for.
- 2:03:03Speaker 15: You know what I mean? And this is the last one.
- 2:03:07Speaker 15: This is a good one, too.
- 2:03:08Speaker 2: Yes, I'm ready.
- 2:03:10Speaker 15: Now, you ain't as young as you used to be.
- 2:03:12Speaker 15: You got a lot going on, and you might not
- 2:03:13Speaker 15: remember this.
- 2:03:15Speaker 2: Okay, so let's get this scenario. I'm not as young
- 2:03:18Speaker 2: as I used to be, and I might not remember
- 2:03:20Speaker 2: this because I'm senile or have dementia. Okay, go ahead.
- 2:03:25Speaker 15: Okay, well, maybe about 15, maybe 17 years ago.
- 2:03:29Speaker 2: Yeah, 17 years ago. Okay, I can't even remember yesterday.
- 2:03:33Speaker 6: Go ahead.
- 2:03:35Speaker 15: Me and you had a conversation. This was when President
- 2:03:38Speaker 15: Trump had just came on the scene. And I asked you,
- 2:03:43Speaker 15: you know, what do you think you're going to get
- 2:03:47Speaker 15: from the president? And you asked me what I thought
- 2:03:53Speaker 15: he was going to do. And then I told you something.
- 2:03:58Speaker 15: I asked you a question, and I believe you told
- 2:04:02Speaker 15: me that it wouldn't happen because he was too smart.
- 2:04:05Speaker 15: I said to you, Well, what if he does all
- 2:04:10Speaker 15: that and he's like Kennedy and he has a whole
- 2:04:14Speaker 15: bunch of people around him that are going to hurt him?
- 2:04:18Speaker 15: You know, because Kennedy had his brother as Attorney General.
- 2:04:22Speaker 15: Remember that?
- 2:04:23Speaker 6: Yes.
- 2:04:25Speaker 15: Kennedy really started the Vietnam War. Remember that?
- 2:04:29Speaker 11: Yes.
- 2:04:30Speaker 15: You remember McNamara and Westmoreland, all them people around him?
- 2:04:36Speaker 15: I said I was worried about that. Are we looking
- 2:04:39Speaker 15: at that now with Donald Trump?
- 2:04:41Speaker 2: We're looking at a mess with Donald Trump. I mean,
- 2:04:44Speaker 2: I say it. I take a lot of criticism from people.
- 2:04:48Speaker 2: I think we're looking at a serious mess. I've said
- 2:04:50Speaker 2: it before. I think he thought this would be over
- 2:04:53Speaker 2: and done with and be a lot easier than it is.
- 2:04:56Speaker 2: You're looking at a major miscalculation of Donald Trump and
- 2:04:59Speaker 2: a mess that he has created. And I don't know
- 2:05:03Speaker 2: what the outcome will be or what the exit ramp
- 2:05:06Speaker 2: will be at this point.
- 2:05:08Speaker 15: Okay, can you think about this? You are a businessman.
- 2:05:12Speaker 15: You are running a business. You have people up under
- 2:05:16Speaker 15: you running different sections. And when you need to make
- 2:05:20Speaker 15: a major move that's involved the whole company, you get
- 2:05:24Speaker 15: input from the people that are running the company.
- 2:05:28Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:05:28Speaker 15: I refuse to believe that Donald Trump did this all
- 2:05:33Speaker 15: by himself. There had to be some people in the
- 2:05:36Speaker 15: room saying, boss, this is going to happen. I think
- 2:05:41Speaker 15: he got bad information. In my personal opinion, I don't know.
- 2:05:46Speaker 2: I don't know if he had bad information or if
- 2:05:50Speaker 2: he just I mean, ultimately, he made the final decision.
- 2:05:55Speaker 2: It's it seems to me just my perception based on
- 2:05:59Speaker 2: the cabinet meetings that I do see, which I. Talk
- 2:06:02Speaker 2: with a lot of Trump supporters. I get a little tired.
- 2:06:06Speaker 2: There's some things of Donald Trump that do wear thin
- 2:06:08Speaker 2: with me. This idea of naming everything after him or
- 2:06:12Speaker 2: whatever these cabinet members are. Oh, we're going to call
- 2:06:14Speaker 2: it the Trump this, the Trump that. And it's just
- 2:06:17Speaker 2: that gets a little old with me real fast. You know,
- 2:06:19Speaker 2: like the Trump, Kennedy Trump Center and these basically ass
- 2:06:24Speaker 2: kisses that want to put his name on everything. Enough
- 2:06:27Speaker 2: of that already. I've had my fill of that. And
- 2:06:30Speaker 2: when I watch these cabinet meetings, it seems a lot
- 2:06:32Speaker 2: of those cabinet people just sit there and really, truly
- 2:06:36Speaker 2: just kiss the guy's ass. And it's sickening to watch
- 2:06:41Speaker 2: some of it. So I don't know if there's any
- 2:06:44Speaker 2: dissent as far as discussion is concerned with Trump or
- 2:06:48Speaker 2: if there's a fear to give him any dissent.
- 2:06:52Speaker 15: You just answered my question. Because if you've got people
- 2:06:55Speaker 15: sitting around him... sitting on their ass and sitting on
- 2:06:57Speaker 15: their hands saying, yes, sir, yes, sir. Then he got
- 2:06:59Speaker 15: some bad people around him.
- 2:07:01Speaker 2: If you got people around you that are afraid to
- 2:07:03Speaker 2: speak up and because what difference does it make or
- 2:07:07Speaker 2: he'll retaliate? Then any good boss is going to listen
- 2:07:12Speaker 2: to people that agree with their decision, and he's also
- 2:07:14Speaker 2: going to listen to ones that disagree with their decision. Remember,
- 2:07:18Speaker 2: Kennedy would listen when it came to the Cuban Missile Crisis,
- 2:07:23Speaker 2: where if he listened to his military, we would have
- 2:07:26Speaker 2: got into a major conflict there. But he listened to
- 2:07:30Speaker 2: what they had to say, and then he thought it through,
- 2:07:33Speaker 2: and he made the final decision and the correct decision
- 2:07:36Speaker 2: to prevent that from happening.
- 2:07:38Speaker 15: Do you think that actually happened in the skit with
- 2:07:40Speaker 15: Donald Trump? Or do you think Donald Trump is going
- 2:07:42Speaker 15: to say he's smarter than everybody else, the smartest person
- 2:07:45Speaker 15: in the room? I'm going to make the decision no
- 2:07:47Speaker 15: matter what you guys say.
- 2:07:50Speaker 2: I would have a tendency to probably think the latter.
- 2:07:53Speaker 2: I think he makes the final decision no matter what
- 2:07:56Speaker 2: you have to say.
- 2:07:58Speaker 15: Well, my brother, welcome back.
- 2:07:59Speaker 2: And one more thing.
- 2:08:00Speaker 15: When you guys get to talking about the next generation,
- 2:08:03Speaker 15: think about what our kids are doing and our grandkids
- 2:08:05Speaker 15: are doing, and think about that young man who is brilliant, right?
- 2:08:09Speaker 15: Even though we don't get along. We get along, but
- 2:08:12Speaker 15: we don't agree on everything. But I think Alex is brilliant.
- 2:08:15Speaker 15: You have a good day, man.
- 2:08:15Speaker 2: Thank you. You're on the air.
- 2:08:18Speaker 10: I think we're the last of the great generation, Ron.
- 2:08:22Speaker 10: But Donald's got it right. He's following the money. He's
- 2:08:26Speaker 10: following the money. He's a businessman. He's following the money.
- 2:08:30Speaker 10: And I think it goes back to Saudi Arabia. Saudi
- 2:08:36Speaker 10: Arabia controls Iran, and Iran does the dirty work. I'm thinking.
- 2:08:43Speaker 10: But Donald is following the money. That's what it's all about.
- 2:08:47Speaker 10: Money and power. Not the people. Not the religion. Not
- 2:08:55Speaker 10: baseball or basketball, women's basketball. It's about the money. Money
- 2:09:01Speaker 10: and power. Donald knows money. He's a capitalist, like me.
- 2:09:06Speaker 10: I'm a capitalist. I know money. That's why I'm not married.
- 2:09:10Speaker 4: But anyhow.
- 2:09:11Speaker 10: So where are we going to go from here?
- 2:09:16Speaker 2: Well, I don't know. You made the phone call. I
- 2:09:17Speaker 2: was trying to figure out what the hell you were
- 2:09:19Speaker 2: saying in the first place. I felt myself, I mean,
- 2:09:22Speaker 2: just in listening to your initial comments, I felt myself
- 2:09:25Speaker 2: getting dumber the more you talked.
- 2:09:28Speaker 10: Well, no, I got to get my points in quick
- 2:09:31Speaker 10: because you never know when the next caller is going
- 2:09:35Speaker 10: to come on. But you guys excite me, especially today.
- 2:09:40Speaker 10: I don't know what it is about today, but because
- 2:09:44Speaker 10: you took a couple days off.
- 2:09:46Speaker 12: I think that's what it is.
- 2:09:47Speaker 2: You know, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
- 2:09:50Speaker 22: It is.
- 2:09:52Speaker 10: Less is more.
- 2:09:53Speaker 8: Yes.
- 2:09:53Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely.
- 2:09:55Speaker 10: Don't hang up. No, I'm not done.
- 2:09:57Speaker 2: Okay. I won't hang up. I'm perfectly comfortable listening to you.
- 2:10:04Speaker 4: Did I tell you the.
- 2:10:05Speaker 10: Story about Uncle Bill and Chester when they were fishing
- 2:10:13Speaker 10: on the Grand River in a steamy summer night, and
- 2:10:19Speaker 10: they were trolling. They were trolling. That's a point that
- 2:10:25Speaker 10: I'm making. They were trolling. And they got this lantern
- 2:10:32Speaker 10: on the canoe, and this big muskie comes swimming up
- 2:10:37Speaker 10: right next to the boat. And Uncle Bill... did what
- 2:10:42Speaker 10: he naturally did. He just rushed down there and grabbed
- 2:10:45Speaker 10: that muskie and rolled it in the canoe and sat
- 2:10:49Speaker 10: on it and grabbed the tail. And he told Chester, Chester,
- 2:10:53Speaker 10: grab the head. And Uncle Bill looked back and Chester
- 2:10:58Speaker 10: was gone.
- 2:11:00Speaker 6: Really?
- 2:11:01Speaker 2: Wow. Thanks for sharing.
- 2:11:04Speaker 10: That's the best I got today.
- 2:11:05Speaker 6: Thanks.
- 2:11:05Speaker 2: That's not good. You're on the air.
- 2:11:08Speaker 7: Where have you been?
- 2:11:10Speaker 2: It's the boss lady.
- 2:11:12Speaker 9: What have you been doing?
- 2:11:13Speaker 7: I've been out in Florida.
- 2:11:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I've been keeping a low profile.
- 2:11:17Speaker 7: I don't blame you. I'm trying to, too.
- 2:11:19Speaker 2: Really? It's not working so good for you?
- 2:11:25Speaker 7: It's not working so good. I've been trying, kind of.
- 2:11:29Speaker 2: I know, but you just keep gaining popularity. You're like..
- 2:11:35Speaker 7: I'm quieting. You know, somebody came up to me and said,
- 2:11:37Speaker 7: are you the boss lady?
- 2:11:38Speaker 2: You are the boss lady.
- 2:11:39Speaker 7: And I started laughing. I know, but I started laughing.
- 2:11:42Speaker 7: I said, oh my God, how do you recognize me?
- 2:11:45Speaker 7: And you want to know the funniest part?
- 2:11:46Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:11:47Speaker 7: Someone came up to my sister and said, are you,
- 2:11:51Speaker 7: are you on video? Do you, are you on social media?
- 2:11:54Speaker 7: And she goes, no, that's my sister. So they're not
- 2:11:58Speaker 7: thinking it's her, my sister.
- 2:11:59Speaker 2: Why do you guys, do you guys look like sisters? Obviously.
- 2:12:03Speaker 19: Yes.
- 2:12:04Speaker 30: Yes.
- 2:12:05Speaker 7: Everybody thinks we're twins, but I don't think we look
- 2:12:07Speaker 7: that much alike. But people think we look very alike.
- 2:12:10Speaker 2: Isn't that interesting? So your sister is putting up with
- 2:12:12Speaker 2: the guff that you create, the controversy that you create. Yeah,
- 2:12:15Speaker 2: and I think it's hilarious.
- 2:12:17Speaker 7: So I'm just going to keep telling people, no, that's
- 2:12:18Speaker 7: my sister. And then she's going to, yeah, I'm just
- 2:12:22Speaker 7: going to tell them, no, that's my sister. It's hilarious.
- 2:12:26Speaker 2: Boy, that is a nice.
- 2:12:27Speaker 7: We get to find out.
- 2:12:28Speaker 2: Really fair.
- 2:12:29Speaker 11: Go ahead.
- 2:12:29Speaker 2: That isn't really fair to your sister.
- 2:12:31Speaker 7: Oh, it is if you knew where it would be fair.
- 2:12:33Speaker 7: I'm kidding.
- 2:12:36Speaker 2: Well, I can see that there's a little sister love here.
- 2:12:40Speaker 2: All right.
- 2:12:42Speaker 7: Oh, it's always a treat with us. My youngest sister's
- 2:12:46Speaker 7: real quiet, but she's a sniper.
- 2:12:50Speaker 4: Really?
- 2:12:50Speaker 7: I'm not quiet. Yeah, she's really quiet, but she's a
- 2:12:53Speaker 7: sniper quiet. She's like a samurai warrior quiet. Jeez. Sneak
- 2:12:59Speaker 7: up on you.
- 2:12:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:13:01Speaker 2: Man, I tell you, you got to watch out for you,
- 2:13:04Speaker 2: you Italian women. You know, I got a lot to
- 2:13:09Speaker 2: worry about, folks. I got Ted the Conservative always going
- 2:13:11Speaker 2: to Jersey with Creeping Charlie. And now I got... These
- 2:13:18Speaker 2: two that I got to worry about. You know, there's
- 2:13:21Speaker 2: nothing but troublemakers out there. So what have you been
- 2:13:25Speaker 2: devoting your time to? Because this ought to be interesting.
- 2:13:29Speaker 7: Well, right now I'm super excited because we get to
- 2:13:32Speaker 7: find out the outcome of their little polling meeting today.
- 2:13:34Speaker 7: Are we broke or are we not broke?
- 2:13:36Speaker 2: Well, what do you make of that situation?
- 2:13:38Speaker 4: Huh?
- 2:13:40Speaker 7: I think it's a bunch of hogwash. I think that
- 2:13:41Speaker 7: they just are. They're backtracking right now because they know
- 2:13:45Speaker 7: how terrible that meeting came off. The fire alarm was
- 2:13:49Speaker 7: pulled to get everybody's panties in a twist. And then
- 2:13:54Speaker 7: Anguero went on the other Youngstown Studio podcast. And basically
- 2:14:01Speaker 7: said that, no, everything's fine. So I don't know how
- 2:14:07Speaker 7: you ask for a levy if you're going to say
- 2:14:08Speaker 7: everything's fine. That's what I'd like to know. I think
- 2:14:10Speaker 7: they got a lot of explaining to do. You're going
- 2:14:13Speaker 7: to ask for three mil and you want to portray
- 2:14:15Speaker 7: everything's fine only because you're trying to.
- 2:14:19Speaker 2: Well, I'm going to wait a minute.
- 2:14:20Speaker 7: Because of how bad your meeting was and your lack
- 2:14:23Speaker 7: of understanding of the depth and breadth of the issue
- 2:14:27Speaker 7: at hand. So I'm not going to call it scary
- 2:14:29Speaker 7: anymore at all. I'm going to say we don't need
- 2:14:31Speaker 7: a levy.
- 2:14:32Speaker 8: Everything's fine.
- 2:14:33Speaker 32: Because that's what they're saying.
- 2:14:34Speaker 7: Yeah, if everything's fine, then everything's fine.
- 2:14:37Speaker 24: Okay, good.
- 2:14:37Speaker 2: Don't ask for a dollar. Before I left for a
- 2:14:41Speaker 2: few days, we heard that meeting and we heard what
- 2:14:45Speaker 2: the guy that's in charge of money had to say.
- 2:14:47Speaker 2: That doesn't seem like everything's fine to me.
- 2:14:51Speaker 6: No kidding, Ron.
- 2:14:52Speaker 7: No kidding. But do you know how dumb you have
- 2:14:54Speaker 7: to be to go on to a studio podcast and
- 2:14:58Speaker 7: then say all is well in the hood and then
- 2:15:03Speaker 7: ask for money? Do you know what kind of a
- 2:15:05Speaker 7: stew nod you must be to do that? Because guess what?
- 2:15:09Speaker 7: You already gave me my talking points. No need to
- 2:15:11Speaker 7: pass this levy.
- 2:15:12Speaker 6: I mean, they're good.
- 2:15:14Speaker 7: They're good in the hood. It doesn't make sense.
- 2:15:20Speaker 2: This doesn't make a lick of sense.
- 2:15:22Speaker 7: Not a lick, not a lick. It's so, I'm entertained.
- 2:15:26Speaker 7: It's entertaining to me because you're trying to watch them
- 2:15:29Speaker 7: finagle out. All they had to say was, it's on me.
- 2:15:34Speaker 7: You know what? I should ask better questions. This will
- 2:15:37Speaker 7: never happen again. We were caught with our pants down.
- 2:15:41Speaker 2: Stand by.
- 2:15:41Speaker 7: And we need money.
- 2:15:42Speaker 2: Stand by. This is interesting. The continuing economic situation in Poland.
- 2:15:47Speaker 2: Back in a minute. Looking to upgrade your bathroom? Hi,
- 2:15:52Speaker 2: this is WKBN. Well, something doesn't seem right here in
- 2:15:56Speaker 2: Poland Township to me. So the initial meeting, which I
- 2:16:00Speaker 2: think it was fairly accurate when they had that special meeting,
- 2:16:03Speaker 2: and they're putting this levy on, said they're running out
- 2:16:05Speaker 2: of money. How has anything changed since then, boss lady?
- 2:16:09Speaker 7: Nothing changed since then, but the fact of the matter is,
- 2:16:12Speaker 7: is then I started..
- 2:16:13Speaker 28: Screaming.
- 2:16:15Speaker 7: Truly, honestly, I think it's because I started screaming and saying,
- 2:16:17Speaker 7: what idiots? How did you guys.
- 2:16:19Speaker 11: Not know this?
- 2:16:20Speaker 7: What's going on? So then they don't want to admit
- 2:16:23Speaker 7: that they were idiots and didn't know what was going on.
- 2:16:25Speaker 7: So they just went like, no, it's all fine in
- 2:16:27Speaker 7: the neighborhood. And they positioned it that way.
- 2:16:30Speaker 35: Now, do you know how stupid you have to be
- 2:16:33Speaker 35: to do that when you want three mil? Do you
- 2:16:36Speaker 35: know how dumb that makes you? It makes you..
- 2:16:40Speaker 7: Ron, I just laugh. I don't know how these people exist.
- 2:16:45Speaker 7: How do they exist?
- 2:16:46Speaker 6: You thought that was.
- 2:16:47Speaker 7: Your power play? I'll just say it's all good. And
- 2:16:49Speaker 7: then I'll still ask for a three mil levy. Cuz
- 2:16:53Speaker 7: now I have my talking points. They don't need any money. No,
- 2:16:58Speaker 7: I don't care.
- 2:16:58Speaker 6: Nope, nope.
- 2:16:59Speaker 7: You're a trustee. You're saying you don't need any money.
- 2:17:02Speaker 7: We'll see what they vote today. Now they're all three
- 2:17:04Speaker 7: getting together today. Now you know what I think is
- 2:17:06Speaker 7: gonna happen? Today they're going to vote, and they're going
- 2:17:08Speaker 7: to vote to put the levy on the ballot. And
- 2:17:10Speaker 7: then he's going to have to go back on what
- 2:17:12Speaker 7: he just said Friday.
- 2:17:13Speaker 2: I mean, it seems..
- 2:17:15Speaker 7: It's a three-ring circus.
- 2:17:17Speaker 2: Tell me if I'm wrong here. It seems like no
- 2:17:20Speaker 2: one was paying attention to where the dollars and cents,
- 2:17:22Speaker 2: and they were making decisions on things that they couldn't afford.
- 2:17:25Speaker 2: And now they're trying to fire Salas Tahoe that the
- 2:17:27Speaker 2: police department needs. I mean, how is that proper management
- 2:17:32Speaker 2: of doing the responsibility that you were elected to do?
- 2:17:35Speaker 2: It's not.
- 2:17:37Speaker 11: It's not.
- 2:17:38Speaker 7: It's not. And you know what? I bet you they're
- 2:17:41Speaker 7: going to vote. They're going to scramble because I think
- 2:17:43Speaker 7: it's the deadline. I think the deadline to put something
- 2:17:46Speaker 7: on the ballot. What did Denise say last week? I
- 2:17:50Speaker 7: think it's got to be tomorrow. Is it the 5th?
- 2:17:53Speaker 7: I think it's the 5th. It's either the 5th or
- 2:17:55Speaker 7: the 6th is the deadline to get it on the ballot.
- 2:17:58Speaker 7: So they're meeting today. They met at 5 o'clock. And
- 2:18:05Speaker 7: hopefully somebody was there to record. Oh, no, it's being recorded.
- 2:18:08Speaker 7: So I'll be watching that for my nightly entertainment. I'll
- 2:18:14Speaker 7: giggle and laugh. I'll send you the recap, Ron. You'll
- 2:18:18Speaker 7: be the first on my recap.
- 2:18:22Speaker 2: I would like to do that because, I mean, it
- 2:18:25Speaker 2: seems to me they've got a financial mess in Poland Township.
- 2:18:28Speaker 2: They probably need this levy. Not probably. They need this
- 2:18:31Speaker 2: levy for their police departments. And they're trying to act
- 2:18:35Speaker 2: like they were on top of things when they really
- 2:18:37Speaker 2: weren't on top of things. I don't know.
- 2:18:40Speaker 9: Absolutely.
- 2:18:40Speaker 7: You know what? Here's what you do in business. You
- 2:18:42Speaker 7: just face into it.
- 2:18:43Speaker 35: You just got to face into it, own it, and
- 2:18:45Speaker 35: move along. You would steal all the smoke in the room,
- 2:18:49Speaker 35: all the air you would suck it, all the oxygen
- 2:18:52Speaker 35: out of the room if you just owned it and
- 2:18:53Speaker 35: moved on.
- 2:18:55Speaker 17: Right?
- 2:18:57Speaker 2: It's just the... What you're telling me, the reversal or
- 2:19:01Speaker 2: the explanation is just strange to me. The whole damn thing. Well,
- 2:19:06Speaker 2: tomorrow ought to be an interesting day, folks, when the
- 2:19:09Speaker 2: boss leads.
- 2:19:10Speaker 7: I'm going to give a recap tomorrow.
- 2:19:12Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:19:12Speaker 7: Stay tuned.
- 2:19:13Speaker 2: Sort this all out and explain it so the rest
- 2:19:16Speaker 2: of us can understand. Thank you, boss lady. Stay on
- 2:19:19Speaker 2: top of things.
- 2:19:19Speaker 7: Have a good night.
- 2:19:20Speaker 2: She's making it happen. Ron Perp from the Kingdom of Mahoning,
- 2:19:23Speaker 2: News Radio 570 WQEN. Sean's coming up. I know that
- 2:19:26Speaker 2: hiring can be.
