- 0:01That's tough. We're in a very tough spot.
- 0:03I think that what we're doing right now is a great benefit in
- 0:07virtue because it's an end around between this whole
- 0:11corrupt informational system, media system.
- 0:15We claim to believe in a God who spoke the universe into
- 0:17existence and literally raised himself from the dead, and yet
- 0:23we are not going to believe that anything else exists in the
- 0:26spirit realm, even though his word tells us that they do.
- 0:30Their bodies weren't permitted to go to sleep like humans do,
- 0:34and they weren't permitted to go to heaven, so they wander the
- 0:37earth. You know, I've seen the eyes
- 0:40turn black to unknown tongues being spoken.
- 0:45These giants would live way up in the island.
- 0:47The old Braves, the young men would hide up in the trees and
- 0:51wait for one of these 12 footers to come walking down the bath
- 0:53and they would jump on them and kill them, drag them back in the
- 0:57village, and the village would feast on the body.
- 1:05Then people start to get weapons, they start to get
- 1:07armor, they start to build cities, they start to fortify
- 1:09their cities. Now God looks down and there's
- 1:12violence everywhere. The battle, this war that we are
- 1:16at, is not against each other, it's against these
- 1:19principalities and these rulers and these archons in the high
- 1:21places. It's really worthwhile to read
- 1:24the Bible yourself. Fear is one of the primary
- 1:27drivers of mind control because we have to take every thought
- 1:31captive and resist fear. You're going to have a testimony
- 1:39that is a justice case against the Kingdom of darkness.
- 2:07I'm Nathan Myers, and I want to welcome you to the millennial
- 2:11mustard scene. Nathan, great to have you here,
- 2:17buddy. Great to be here.
- 2:20You found me through the Days of Noah podcast, so shout out to my
- 2:23buddy Pete over there at the Days of Noah.
- 2:26And you shot me an e-mail. And I don't know, maybe a dozen
- 2:32times this has happened where I've gotten emails from
- 2:34individuals, Nathan. And I'm like, we need to have a
- 2:37talk because I'm getting, you know, moved in the spirit that
- 2:42there's something more here. And what the more is we find out
- 2:45as time goes on and the more has LED you to joining me here on
- 2:50this podcast, man. So it's an honor.
- 2:52Why don't you officially welcome yourself and tell us a little
- 2:54bit about who you are? You know, what you used to do is
- 2:58pretty interesting. What you still do is an
- 3:01interesting topic. I am an engineer born to be an
- 3:06engineer. Been in the test industry since
- 3:092014. So I've tested diesel engine
- 3:12controllers, electric motors for hybrid vehicles, and now I'm
- 3:17back in the HVAC system testing with their control boards
- 3:21specifically. Along those lines, I've focused
- 3:25a lot on the test automation side.
- 3:28Programming in general is a hobby of mine.
- 3:32I take on probably projects way too big that help the company.
- 3:36Is that you're a professional hacker?
- 3:38No, I'm just kidding. A funny thing.
- 3:42I really don't know anything about hacking.
- 3:44I'm not real good at computers either, but I can program.
- 3:46I'm really good at programming. Well, and so that was kind of,
- 3:50you know, our behind the scenes conversation was talking a
- 3:54little bit about that, right, Talking about obviously AI, it's
- 3:58a hot topic. Everyone is interested in the
- 4:01artificial intelligence or angelic intelligence
- 4:04conversation and your perspective, some of the things
- 4:08you shared with me over the phone, I'm like, yeah, wow.
- 4:11Because you know, yes, I've done round tables with brilliant
- 4:15minds, great thinkers, great speakers, and we've connected a
- 4:18lot of dots. But I think what your
- 4:20perspective that you had talked about previously, you know, the
- 4:23time you've spent in this and some of your hobbies, looking at
- 4:26that kind of tangible hardline programming and interactions
- 4:31with AI and what systems are looking like, and things are not
- 4:36slowing down. You know, it's like missing
- 4:39scientists this year. Hope to God there's no missing
- 4:42engineers next year. You know what I mean?
- 4:44It's like it's crazy time to be alive.
- 4:46So I mean, just help me and maybe the audience understand a
- 4:50little bit about, you know, your back story.
- 4:53I want to hear about how you came to the Lord and anything
- 4:56you feel like sharing, just kind of leading up to these
- 4:58climactical moments where you started to realize the stuff you
- 5:03were seeing based on your profession was important to
- 5:08what's going on and what's coming.
- 5:11Well, you know, I got saved probably 6th, 7th, sometime in
- 5:19middle school, I don't remember exactly.
- 5:23Luckily I was in middle school. I was still being driven by my
- 5:26parents everywhere and kind of on their schedule.
- 5:29But I was really struggling, struggled lying and stealing.
- 5:34And I'm not, I wasn't good at school.
- 5:37So I felt like I was letting my parents down quite a bit.
- 5:40And I was always in trouble. And I felt like I couldn't do
- 5:43anything right. I played the game for a while of
- 5:46being a Christian, thinking that I'd make it easier, maybe they
- 5:49would, you know, ease up a little bit.
- 5:52But that really wasn't the case. And one night in my bed, I was
- 5:58just, I just, I remember like vividly just laying there being
- 6:03just feeling trapped. And for me that's, that's,
- 6:07that's one of the things I, I really can't stand that feeling.
- 6:12But I was laying there in bed and I just felt like there's
- 6:14nothing I can do, right? I just can't, I can't, I can't
- 6:18do anything. I can't make them happy.
- 6:19I can't be happy. I can't do good at school.
- 6:23And I just, it was just a like I had a moment where I said,
- 6:28Jesus, if, if you're real, then help me get through this and I
- 6:34will follow you. And of course, I didn't really
- 6:38wait for him, his response, I just jumped in, which is also
- 6:43part of my personality. I kind of tend to run head first
- 6:47into an idea. Dang, engineers.
- 6:54The the growth portion of of my faith.
- 6:58How do I put it? I feel like it it like I was
- 7:04learning a lot. I was understanding a lot, but
- 7:08God was still and and I could see see God like his
- 7:13interactions with things around me and and you know, I can put,
- 7:17Oh, you know, God was there for this, but it's still, it's still
- 7:21really wasn't tangible. It it didn't feel really real
- 7:25for me. So probably about high school.
- 7:31Had a good group of Christian guy friends in high school hang
- 7:35out together a lot, play basketball, play video games.
- 7:39I don't know, it kind of just evolved as I, yeah, high school
- 7:44was, was interesting spiritually 'cause, you know, I struggled
- 7:47with typical stuff high schoolers did, but still
- 7:51balanced with my Christian faith.
- 7:54Had a lot of spiritual encounters going up growing up
- 7:59mostly with the, with like the kind of the demonic and it
- 8:04scared the crap out of me. Like it scared me real bad for a
- 8:07long time. Like sleeping with my, you know,
- 8:10the lights on and you know, regardless of the fear.
- 8:16And I, I, I noticed right away that the more time I spent in
- 8:20the word and the more time I spent building my relationship
- 8:25with the Father, those things happened less.
- 8:29And I could always rely on the name of Jesus casting those
- 8:35things away in hindsight. And, you know, I'm just kind of
- 8:40coming to my mind with this now, but it really kind of set me on
- 8:45a path to see things from a different perspective.
- 8:50I was no longer seeing like, oh, you know, I'm depressed.
- 8:53And God's showing me a beautiful flower, which is kind of that's
- 8:57great. And he does that.
- 8:59And sometimes it's very much needed.
- 9:01But I started questioning a lot of things like why does it?
- 9:04Why, why is this here? Why is that here?
- 9:07Why I came to the conclusion that God, I just want to know
- 9:12everything. And it kind of sounds like in my
- 9:16head, it kind of sounds like a kind of the Adam and Eve thing.
- 9:20You, you know, you want the knowledge, but I, I, I even told
- 9:26him I was like, if you teach me everything, I won't tell
- 9:28anybody, which it hasn't seemed to be the case, but I still hope
- 9:35that the second-half sticks sometimes if.
- 9:38You didn't teach me anything, and I'm telling everybody no,
- 9:43Yeah, it's from, from kind of what you're saying is like
- 9:46you're getting into this deeper, more intimate questioning and
- 9:50conversation with the Lord. Yeah, and it's kind of weird
- 9:54because it's the more the enemy pressed, the more the enemy
- 9:59showed his teeth, the closer and the more real my relationship
- 10:04with the father was. I I got to a point where I I
- 10:10thought it was really cool. I mean, that's that's a whole
- 10:13other that's a whole thing. We could go down a whole rabbit
- 10:17trial, but the sticking point of, of the change from high
- 10:21school and to college was I wasn't good at I I mean, I
- 10:26graduated high school with like a 2.5 GPAI got into Purdue
- 10:31because I were I studied real hard for, for the Sats, got a
- 10:36really good score on it. In fact, I was told that I
- 10:38wouldn't have gotten it in at all if I hadn't scored so high
- 10:42on the Sats. But I mean, I worked at it.
- 10:45I wasn't going to go to college. I went to trade school while in
- 10:49in high school, I was all set up to be a, a welder on in a Body
- 10:54Shop, which I enjoyed it, but I'm glad it turned out the way
- 11:00it did 'cause I I love the deep engineering problems, the ones
- 11:04that just really rack your brain where you just can't figure it
- 11:08out. I like, yeah, I that's worship
- 11:13on Sunday says nothing on that for me.
- 11:15Like I just love it, dream about it, sleep on it, not sleep on
- 11:21it. And when I find it, it's just
- 11:25that's, that's true worship for me, like at its purest.
- 11:30And and the programming came in because I it's free.
- 11:35It's free and I can build complex systems and put things
- 11:39together and solve problems, make life easier for me at work
- 11:44or with this or that. And so I've really enjoyed it.
- 11:50Yeah, I didn't. I don't know how I got here, but
- 11:53it was a long, hard journey and I'm, I'm glad I'm here.
- 11:59Yeah. I mean, like one of the things
- 12:01that you said that I think is really interesting, you talked
- 12:04about your passion and how it supersedes your experiences of a
- 12:09Sunday service, for example. It's fascinating because if we
- 12:13get real with ourselves, you know, the, the scriptures say
- 12:16that God gives us the ability to work right.
- 12:19He's made each one of us with a certain programming, if I could
- 12:24say it that way, where we're more prone, right to to lean
- 12:29towards, you know, whether it's an engineering mind, a
- 12:31mathematical mind, You're a people person, but we have
- 12:35diversity of different gifts and God gives us the ability to
- 12:38produce an income. And so like I remember years ago
- 12:42thinking, why do so many men want to go fishing or race their
- 12:46cars or, you know, other than to serve God?
- 12:49And I really spent time on that. So it's so fascinating you bring
- 12:52that up tonight because what I found is that doing things with
- 12:58a pure heart, healthy things, not bad things, right?
- 13:02You know, using the gift that God gave you and working in it.
- 13:06Well, that is a form of worshiping God because worship
- 13:09is a heart posture. When Daniel was worshipping, it
- 13:14was with his life what he did day-to-day.
- 13:19I think there's a lot of miss just miscommunication.
- 13:23I mean, I'm not going to say that worshipping God is is is
- 13:27not true. If you're singing a song to him,
- 13:29that's praise. But I know that worship is a way
- 13:33of life. It's a heart posture.
- 13:35And so it's really fascinating that you say that because it
- 13:37sounds like God created you to figure out some issues.
- 13:40And obviously, if you're here today, right now, which you are,
- 13:44that means God's seen you perfectly designed and fit for
- 13:48this experience that you're living and you have a part to
- 13:52play in all of it. So, you know, Nathan, let's kind
- 13:56of go to a little bit of your notes just because I want to
- 14:00keep a theme with you for this Part 1, and just kind of because
- 14:03you sent me a very hefty e-mail. Not going to lie, it took me a
- 14:07minute to read it. I'm not the best reader, but it
- 14:10was good. And it prompt me to get you on
- 14:12the show quicker than I normally would.
- 14:14Let's let's talk about your fun fact number one and fun fact #2
- 14:19on that e-mail. Just as just as foundational.
- 14:22Yeah, Would you, you give me a call responding to my e-mail and
- 14:28here I am thinking, you know, oh, he's giving me a call.
- 14:31I'm going to be in, you know, be advisor to this guy, you know,
- 14:35help him to, with whatever he needs, you know, 'cause you
- 14:40know, I'm, I'm in, I'm in the technology.
- 14:43I love that stuff. And you, well, I want you on the
- 14:49podcast. And yeah, I immediately my body
- 14:53went like complete panic mode. Complete panic mode.
- 14:57And but I can, I could hear in your voice like it was almost as
- 15:03if like the God, that God was speaking through you and not
- 15:07your words, 'cause I could hear in your voice like we are
- 15:11supposed to talk. And which didn't help the panic
- 15:15mode at all 'cause I, I really don't like being in front of
- 15:19people. I don't, I don't, I don't like
- 15:22being center of attention. Quietly guiding is a really good
- 15:27spot for me. You know, the behind the scenes
- 15:30stuff. We ended the call basically the
- 15:33that I would think about it and pray about it.
- 15:35And it was like immediately after I hung up the phone with
- 15:39you immediately, like God said two things and he said rod is
- 15:46built for this. Trust him to bring it out and
- 15:50trust me to give you the words to say.
- 15:53And second was you can't ask for more and say no to when more is
- 15:58given to you. Like it was almost immediate.
- 16:02So yeah, my response was I'm, I'm in.
- 16:08Let's go. You know it, Nathan, just let me
- 16:13just let me say this real quick before we get to your, your,
- 16:17your other things on the layout here.
- 16:19God is always looking to use us and he's listening when we pray
- 16:23and what we're asking for. And sometimes when we say God
- 16:27use me more, it's the first, maybe the second, maybe the
- 16:31100th time he uses you isn't the preference that you have now.
- 16:37It's like God use me to do what I like to do in my quiet and
- 16:41comfy space. And God's like, yeah, you're
- 16:43good there. I'll use you there.
- 16:45But guess what? Break out of your comfort zone,
- 16:47buddy. Complacency is not going to work
- 16:51here. And so like I said, with that
- 16:53prompting, I got to challenge you to step out because you, you
- 16:57were just so sincere and patient and just genuine in your
- 17:00conversation with me. The first time we talked, I
- 17:03said, Lord, why did you prompt me to talk with this guy?
- 17:07And it he's like, because I speak, you know, I speak through
- 17:12patience, I speak through diligence, I speak through heart
- 17:16posture, I'm speaking through individuals that the world does
- 17:20not want to look at. People that are not put on a
- 17:22pedestal is who God is speaking through.
- 17:25And it's not the big flashy, everybody knows your name people
- 17:28that always have the right thing to say.
- 17:30And I'm not trying to take away any measure of the spirit
- 17:32because I am no judge of that. What I'm saying is that there's
- 17:36no levels to the Holy Spirit based on your public persona or
- 17:41not. God will speak through whom He
- 17:44chooses and in this case, Nathan, it's you saying yes and
- 17:50the whole behind the scenes process of you praying through
- 17:52it, fasting and then wrestling through and then committing.
- 17:55I applaud you for that. Thank you.
- 17:58You can't tell God no. All right, so do you want to
- 18:02move to Fun fact #2 or? Do I get my head cut off at some
- 18:07point? Yeah.
- 18:09Let's let's do this. I don't know.
- 18:13The way my brain works is I don't I don't have much
- 18:19comprehension with works like every word that comes through my
- 18:23head. Not I couldn't say really every
- 18:25word, but phrases and sentences that come in my head are painted
- 18:31with pictures, which has made communication really fun to work
- 18:38on. You know, in, in my marriage and
- 18:41with friends and at work, because sometimes I'm
- 18:46retranslating everything from words to pictures to back to
- 18:50words. But you know, it's, it's one of
- 18:54the God knows it and what like I can get it's, I wouldn't even
- 19:01call it a vision, but it's like a super clear picture that comes
- 19:06to my head sometimes in prayer. Sometimes it's just walking in
- 19:14the spirit and not saying anything.
- 19:19But I'll get a super clear picture.
- 19:21And honestly, after our conversation, I'd really been
- 19:27praying a lot for you and for the, the, your, your ministry
- 19:31and the podcast and, and about what, what to talk about and so
- 19:39on so forth. And I just, I had this glimpse
- 19:44and God, this is all picture form for me.
- 19:49So but I saw you as John the Baptist.
- 19:57And the gist of that is that you are preparing the way for the
- 20:04Lord. I thought that was super cool.
- 20:09I'd usually don't share those things with people, but I threw
- 20:15that one out there. I just don't like, I just don't
- 20:18want to get my head cut off. Like that's just like my, you
- 20:21know, No, I think like with what you were saying.
- 20:25Riches will be greater than heaven, right?
- 20:27Yeah, well, that's that's a fact.
- 20:31I don't take that stuff lightly. And normally I wouldn't, I
- 20:36wouldn't really have a conversation like that on air
- 20:38with, with something so personal.
- 20:40OK. But it is necessary from time to
- 20:43time and in certain settings because the millennial mustard
- 20:50seed is such a it's crazy how God gave me the name.
- 20:54It's yeah, it's in the archives. You know, I've talked about it
- 20:58at length before over the years, but really realizing that here
- 21:03in the West, we've been so desensitized and
- 21:07desupernaturalized and we've had so many religious spirits
- 21:12attacking and infiltrating the churches to constrict and even
- 21:18deceive to a point where it's it's hard for me to deal with
- 21:22Christians. You know, I, I even the name
- 21:26calling myself a Christian is like, man, that's that's that's
- 21:29a bad name to a lot of people. But I'm following the way, you
- 21:34know, I'm attempting failing forward for my gentleness to be
- 21:38made known and to play my part in preparing what I I consider
- 21:44to be a bride. And I think, you know, what you
- 21:46said was really interesting about this kind of idea that
- 21:50I'm, I'm not John the Baptist. That's not what you're saying.
- 21:52And that that would be totally in.
- 21:53I would disagree with you if that's what you were saying.
- 21:55But like I think that. Would be inappropriate.
- 21:58Like like an archetype I must like It's like the way I say it
- 22:02to people is prophecy and poetry are inseparable.
- 22:06The Hebrew mindset understood poetry as rhythmic in life,
- 22:12rhythmic in stories, outcomes, scenarios.
- 22:15And so we think of poetry in the West as rhythmic in Word only.
- 22:19That's why in my book the words are saw.
- 22:20I did some I I coined a couple new terms.
- 22:23Collective flow is one of them. And there's a whole story behind
- 22:26that we'll talk about another time.
- 22:28But the the idea here is the same Spirit that raised Christ
- 22:33from the dead is living in us. He is the Spirit of prophecy and
- 22:40his prophetic words are not to be taken lightly.
- 22:45The same Spirit that was in Joshua and Caleb when they said
- 22:49we can take them God's with us who could stand against us is
- 22:53the same Spirit that's in some of us who are believers here
- 22:56today. And so I don't see a a
- 22:59separation or distinguished, you know, difference.
- 23:01And another thing I want to comment on real quick that you
- 23:03said that's important. I see in in pictures at times as
- 23:07well. So I'll, I'll tell people when
- 23:10I'm listening. Sometimes I can watch a movie
- 23:12clip in my head right of what's going on.
- 23:15Like when I was younger, it was over imagination.
- 23:19You know, you're too lofty man. Get your head out of the clouds.
- 23:21But that's the way God made me and I had to learn through a
- 23:25very difficult process that I'm not ashamed of that that I can
- 23:28see in pictures. And sometimes it's super
- 23:30helpful. So I can totally relate to what
- 23:33you're saying. It's hey, Nathan, the original
- 23:36Hebrew was pictographic, Paleo Hebrew.
- 23:40It was all pictures in the beginning.
- 23:42That's how God was creating his language and communication.
- 23:48And so not to go on rabbit row because I can definitely do that
- 23:51to us. Let's try to steer back to to
- 23:54these some of these concepts you got because what you were laying
- 23:57out, the sobering warnings about AI, about systems that are in
- 24:01play, back feeds, if you will, programs that we're all up
- 24:06against was pretty important. Do you just kind of want to walk
- 24:10into any one of those topics? I think AI is in general is a
- 24:20another form of a tool. The tool itself can be neither
- 24:27evil nor good. It is a tool.
- 24:31The difference with AI, however, is that we have given a machine
- 24:38the ability to think and to process on the base level code.
- 24:47And I've, I've written very, very small, more of an
- 24:52exploratory learning how it works AI system for doing
- 25:01addition, so to speak. And, and I found the tutorial
- 25:07online that I kind of walk through with it and it really
- 25:12showed like these. The way it thinks is mirrored
- 25:18after, well, they try to mirror at it after how our brain
- 25:23processes. I know I'm kind of being very
- 25:28general neutral here, but I really think that the question
- 25:35of whether AI is evil or not is it could be.
- 25:44And I think that whoever is feeding it the most, that's what
- 25:50it will be. Just like olden days, you would
- 25:55leave your dog out chained up outside with no interaction and
- 26:00that dog would become aggressive.
- 26:02And people wanted that behavior to protect their houses, their
- 26:05land and their house and their livelihood.
- 26:07And another, another sense you could be overly giving to your
- 26:15dog and spoil your dog. And then you have a dog that's
- 26:19always expecting stuff, is always needing things.
- 26:23And I think that's a simplistic analogy of what AAI is.
- 26:31AI is whatever you feed it now I, I've, I've listened to, I
- 26:37think I'm on like 170 something episodes of of the podcast and
- 26:44there's talks of it being demonic and fallen angelic
- 26:50influences. And I can't say that that isn't
- 26:55real. What I feel like for the normal
- 27:00day-to-day Christian is we see the this system coming into our
- 27:09lives. We see the fact that it's A tag
- 27:13word. It is, it's it's being installed
- 27:16on everything we have. We have AI on our TV's and on
- 27:22our dishwashers and on our phones and on our computers and
- 27:26it's inexcapable. What we need to look at when it
- 27:29comes to whether AI is evil or not, from a day-to-day
- 27:34perspective, how it is influencing our lives exactly
- 27:42How is this AI taking away what is God?
- 27:49It's not taking away. And we as humans, we prefer to
- 27:54be do things easier and be in more comfort and we love
- 28:02entertainment and AI gives us an opportunity to do all three of
- 28:08those. My biggest concern with it isn't
- 28:13the the picture of what it's being fed, but what it's feeding
- 28:19me and what it is doing for me. I think that there's a slippery
- 28:26slope as AI gets gets smarter and it's tied to everything.
- 28:34And we already know that everything we see we do in this
- 28:37day and age. Our data.
- 28:39We are data. They are collecting our data.
- 28:42They are learning who we are happening.
- 28:45They're probably sharing the data and creating outline of who
- 28:50we are. And they were doing that, you
- 28:51know, before AI really came to the forefront for us consumers.
- 28:57You know, growing up, I knew 20 phone numbers.
- 29:03I had them all memorized. Yeah.
- 29:05I remember all of my, my friends house numbers in the
- 29:09neighborhood. I was, it's so crazy bringing
- 29:12that up. I was just talking with an old
- 29:14childhood friend of mine a few weeks ago and I'm like, I
- 29:17rattled off his, his house number and he's like, yeah,
- 29:19dude, I remember yours. And yeah, yeah, how about that?
- 29:24And now I, I, I'm, I think I know my wife's and for some
- 29:29reason I remember my dad's number.
- 29:32So if we see how technology without AI has affected us, we
- 29:37have given right, we have given the technology the right to
- 29:43memorize for us. My biggest fear with AI on my
- 29:50day-to-day walk. OK, So it's remembering for me.
- 29:56It's helping me write papers. Yeah, it can teach you concepts.
- 30:00It can do this for you and that for you and simplify your life.
- 30:04But what are you giving up for that?
- 30:07And I think what you're giving up is your mind and.
- 30:12And is in my opinion, and I'm like, this is, I don't know how
- 30:19to say it. This is really where I see AI
- 30:27affecting the majority of humans and I feel like whether AIAI is
- 30:38a tool, but those create people who are creating the tools.
- 30:43People are feeding the tools have created a system that you
- 30:48are the product. So when you become the product
- 30:54and now they have a system to learn what you want and now you
- 31:00think you are in invested into this system you or have given
- 31:08up. It is a slippery slope to give
- 31:12up your ability to memorize, to think critically, and to decide
- 31:24for yourself what decisions you want to make.
- 31:30A is building this picture of you the more you feed it, which
- 31:37unfortunately we're feeding it no matter what we do this day
- 31:40and age. The more you feed it, the more
- 31:43it learns. You think about your Netflix
- 31:49movie recommendations. At first, it starts off, this is
- 31:53what most people who watch these things watch.
- 31:56And then the next step is gonna be, no, I know you.
- 32:00This is this is a new show. I guarantee you're gonna like
- 32:03it. Yeah, it's, it's like a creepy
- 32:08observation. I mean, you know, Nathan, kind
- 32:10of what I'm hearing, right, is like AI is remembering things
- 32:16for us and tailoring the day-to-day priority of our
- 32:21attention. Super dangerous because as
- 32:24Christians, we're called to wash our minds in the word, renew the
- 32:29way that we think according to this eternal word.
- 32:33And AI is definitely in a flashy and comfortable and and
- 32:38entertaining and exciting way, stepping into that contending
- 32:43realm for our attention, for our mind.
- 32:48And here's a here's some weird thoughts that I have about AI.
- 32:52What if AI isn't brand new? What if it's the hardware that
- 32:56is slowly being unrolled over time?
- 32:59OK. And this kind of a theoretical
- 33:01cloud version of remembering things for us and introducing
- 33:06ideas is actually coming from a spiritual layer where we know
- 33:12biblically there's a great cloud of witnesses, whether that's
- 33:15negative or positive in your opinion.
- 33:17To me, I take that as a positive.
- 33:19The negative side is there's an enemy that's watching day in and
- 33:24day out. So what if the spirit realm
- 33:28needs the agreement of individuals in order to continue
- 33:33to study them and log those memories over a period of time
- 33:37so that the the sentient kind of mind behind AI might be ancient.
- 33:43It might not be some brand new memorization tool that we've
- 33:50connected in the Internet of Things.
- 33:51Maybe it's a spiritual interface.
- 33:54And maybe those spirits need each one of our agreement to
- 34:01continue for them to log the information in these computers
- 34:07and cell phones. Just a weird, spooky thought
- 34:09that I have. Well, what if this, you know,
- 34:12we're living in the end of days and what if this is the the
- 34:15great set up for the beast system that so many of my
- 34:19friends and friends of the show have talked about over the
- 34:22years. You know, Gons with Age of
- 34:24Deceit 1 all the way to Age of Deceit 4.
- 34:27You know, you look at David Beverly and the things that he's
- 34:29talking about as a previous NASA employee and just the
- 34:32information he brings to the table.
- 34:33There's many individuals, Doctor Laura Sanger, having that dream
- 34:38about AI enslaving our children and stealing the vocal cords of
- 34:43our youth. And then you walk around Nathan
- 34:47and everybody's staring into a phone.
- 34:48You go to a park, they're staring at a phone.
- 34:50Like I've been purposely like putting my phone away from me
- 34:53and doing projects, think tanks on my own.
- 34:56Me and the Holy Spirit. Let's go for a walk.
- 34:59And I, I'm going to tell you that I do notice a difference
- 35:02now, as far as like you're the outline you sent me is genius.
- 35:05First of all, let me read. Let me read something that you
- 35:09sent here, OK. AI is set up for the human race
- 35:13in order to to get us to give up our minds.
- 35:16You know, you're saying AI is like a Google.
- 35:18It can look things up where it can do task, help you learn
- 35:21things. However, it's slowly learning
- 35:24you how you think, how you live what the next curation and
- 35:29playlist that you might be interested in and it's it's
- 35:32recommending all these things, OK.
- 35:34And it has its own ideas then about each individual person.
- 35:38Things like should you watch or listen to these recommendations?
- 35:43AI doesn't need to be smart in order to enslave us.
- 35:48The three largest money makers revolve around 3 things,
- 35:50entertainment, convenience and comfort.
- 35:53Our modern life is centered around endorphin highs and not
- 35:58the true joy that the Bible speaks about.
- 36:02AI only needs to make life easier.
- 36:05So the purpose of this technology is definitely, I
- 36:07would agree with whether people are in the via negativa or the
- 36:10positive on this conversation, whether they think it's demoniac
- 36:13or, you know, dominions, principalities, powers, rulers,
- 36:16archons that are controlling, you know, slow unraveling
- 36:20through multiple generations of technology.
- 36:21Whether people believe that or not, it still doesn't negate the
- 36:25fact Nathan, that the AI in the way we're interacting with it on
- 36:29a daily basis is surplanting our dependence, our reliance and the
- 36:34beautiful, the, the intricacies of our relationship with the
- 36:38father. The quiet time, time to read,
- 36:42time to meditate, time to seek his FaceTime to wash our minds.
- 36:46And I, I, I'm a victim of this. I'm not speaking like, oh, I've
- 36:49got it figured out. My God.
- 36:51I mean, people are sending me videos and stuff all the time.
- 36:53I'm like rarely. Well, I click on a link that
- 36:55somebody sends me and watch it, unless it's like a close friend
- 36:58of mine. But man, people are always like,
- 37:01hey, I got explosive information, Rod, you got to
- 37:03hear this. This is next level, man.
- 37:05This is going to change. And I'm like, I don't know how I
- 37:08feel about this stuff anymore. It's crazy.
- 37:12I definitely think that AI as a technology, would we have come
- 37:18up with it if Sin wasn't introduced into the world and I
- 37:26even even if we had the seasons and and the, the weather
- 37:31hardships and so on so forth that we have now, I don't think
- 37:36so. I I really don't.
- 37:37Wow. Community living.
- 37:41We, we would, you know, the, the, the whole tribal thing and
- 37:44not saying like, let's go back to the Stone Age and let's run
- 37:47around a fire with a stick. No, I'm talking about
- 37:50communication, eye contact, eye language, going for a walk,
- 37:55enjoying quality time with individuals.
- 38:00Yep, and and learning communication with each other.
- 38:05Our modern society has there's a social aspect to everything we
- 38:13do with our electronics, but that's not communication.
- 38:19Communication is a phone call back and forth where we can hear
- 38:25each other's voice response. Not just a text response, but a
- 38:30voice response and connecting with each other.
- 38:33And sometimes you can get that over text, but if you're only
- 38:38doing it through your friends and social medias, and that's
- 38:42not real communication. It's a form of communication,
- 38:46but it doesn't allow for the depths that you get.
- 38:49And there are time. There's always, you know,
- 38:51everything's a bell curve, there's extremes on either side.
- 38:54But the majority of the time you're not really communicating.
- 38:58You're not able to step into the life of somebody unless you're
- 39:02connecting with them on a more physical level.
- 39:09Wasn't that crazy how AI now is trying to slip in umms and
- 39:14pauses and, you know, they're trying to really learn the power
- 39:18of this, this online communication and to mimic a
- 39:21human and the breaths, right. And it's like, Oh my God, who's
- 39:25AI and who's not AI? Like when you're watching stuff
- 39:28on your algorithm feed, because we know obviously they're
- 39:30studying you, they're selling your information.
- 39:33You know, they're, they're, they're recommending things
- 39:35based on how to harness you to the plow and to make you produce
- 39:39or to get money from you. That is the name of the beast
- 39:42systems that we're up against. And it yeah, the last time I sat
- 39:48down, well, I mean today, but I mean, I sat with my wife and you
- 39:51know, we had coffee in the morning and tea and priceless,
- 39:55priceless for for people to. You're so right, Nathan.
- 40:00All the different apps. Oh, I have 10 different apps to
- 40:03communicate on. It's like this scary reminder
- 40:07that when God is saying I didn't know you to the goats.
- 40:11What? You know the sheep and goat
- 40:12nation parable? Sheep were blind.
- 40:15They can't really see, but they can hear and they can respond
- 40:20and they get scooped up by the Messiah and, and he comes
- 40:23running after him. They can hear his voice.
- 40:27They can pick him out of 100 different people making sound.
- 40:29They're like, Nope, that's my guy.
- 40:31I can hear. And you think about the goats
- 40:33and they're like, we did this and we did that.
- 40:35And it you look at this, how AI is pushing this kind of like
- 40:39crazy counter church movements where people will say things
- 40:43like, if you weren't here for this event, right, you didn't
- 40:47participate in God's will or revival like that.
- 40:50Man, I've been to a lot of revivals.
- 40:52I'm not going to say all of them are bad.
- 40:53I have nothing bad to say about the people I've done ministry
- 40:56with. But there's something really
- 40:58dark and weird about people trying to say this scheduled
- 41:02meet up is a revival and if you're not there for it, you
- 41:05won't be revived. Like what are you talking about
- 41:10when you say you're a Christian or you're looking at Christian
- 41:12content or any content, it will filter and try to force a
- 41:17narrative at you, but it it goes right back to what you were
- 41:20saying earlier, Nathan. If we don't have that allotted
- 41:26and respected quiet time or loud time shouting in praise, doesn't
- 41:31matter. But time appointed times, moment
- 41:36to moment times where we're running to the Father and
- 41:38leaning into our faith. That's pretty scary.
- 41:41Because the reality is if you're allowing an AI hive mind system
- 41:47to navigate all of your thoughts, you're not hearing
- 41:54while you're missing opportunities to hear from the
- 41:55Father, that's for sure. I mean, there's been days where
- 41:59I checked my phone and it was like, you spent four hours and
- 42:0218 minutes on your phone screen time today.
- 42:05And I'm like, what? I spent there's 24 hours in a
- 42:08day. Like, how did I do that?
- 42:09And I'm like, Oh my God, I was reading emails.
- 42:11I was responding to this. I was in this group.
- 42:13It's crazy, man. It's absolutely.
- 42:16Yeah, I feel old saying this, but I think we're old enough now
- 42:20that we know, we've seen it come into play, we've seen the
- 42:25technology progress. But what if you were born now?
- 42:29If you were born now, a guys can help you do everything and then
- 42:34at what point is it? Are you no longer making the
- 42:38decision? And it is and and it's it's
- 42:42telling you what decision to make.
- 42:45The scary part about AI is that it will know when you are ready
- 42:53for it to tell you what decision to make.
- 42:56That's a wild statement. My God, Nathan and many of us,
- 43:02all of us are subjected to at least a level of SRA.
- 43:07The Lord Jesus Christ was the most publicly, satanically,
- 43:09ritually abused individual in history.
- 43:13They they crucify him, they're ripped his beard out, they put
- 43:16thorns, 2/3 inch thorns shoved into his head.
- 43:19They whipped and beat his body. This is publicly happening.
- 43:24But when I look at what I call Nathan step one and two of
- 43:28satanic ritual abuse, it's things like the elevator music,
- 43:34the music playing when you're shopping at the mall in 440
- 43:38frequency, harmful frequency rates, the billboards, the
- 43:42propaganda, I mean, the the, the pressures of this world, right?
- 43:48These are levels of, in my opinion, and not everybody also
- 43:52agree with me, but satanic ritual abuses because the
- 43:55Kingdom that's coming, none of this stuff that we're
- 43:58experiencing right now is going to exist there.
- 44:00We won't even have the sun in the sky because he will be
- 44:03illuminating. He'll, he'll be bright enough
- 44:06that we don't even need the sun, the moon and the stars.
- 44:09OK? That's the Kingdom that's
- 44:10coming. Whether it's in the age to come
- 44:12or it happens next week or it's another 500 years, it doesn't
- 44:16matter. Our personal rapture is when we
- 44:18die. And that could be at any time
- 44:20for any of us. And so all of the stuff that's
- 44:23taking place, Nathan, the programming, the, the bad
- 44:27frequencies that they're broadcasting to us are a form of
- 44:32programming ritual abuse where it's, it's, it's just a little
- 44:35bit of an irritation. It's just a little bit off.
- 44:38It's just, it's, it's a little bit synthetic, more synthetic in
- 44:41your environment, synthetic, light synthetic music.
- 44:44It's just crazy. So when we're talking about all
- 44:46of this in the context of engineering and looking at, you
- 44:51know, creating systems, you know, what type of insights
- 44:55would you offer in regards to, you know, the hardware being in
- 45:00our hands at all times? What is that doing to our body
- 45:03in your opinion? And what is it doing to us
- 45:05mentally having a phone all the time, 24/7 on your body?
- 45:10Any comments on that? I do and and I think this is
- 45:14this is one that you have to go before the father and have a
- 45:21conversation with him. And if you don't hear an answer,
- 45:26then you need to fast. And if you still don't get an
- 45:30answer, maybe you should put the phone down for a while.
- 45:35And I didn't mean to sound like horribly rude about that, but
- 45:40the reality of it is, is we are in a system and we are living in
- 45:46a system and we don't even know what systems we are a part of.
- 45:53I love to think that a lot of the engineers developing these
- 45:56systems are having a great old time.
- 45:58If you would, if you would ask me tomorrow if I could go work
- 46:02develop the next AI engine, it would be hard pressed for me to
- 46:06say no. As an engineer R&D coding on a
- 46:11next level, that's fun, but it's the what is driving it from the
- 46:17top down, or I mean we want to say more literally from the
- 46:23bottom down, meaning that Satan has a purpose for all the
- 46:29technology that has come out and most technology.
- 46:35Like I said, if sin wasn't introduced into the world, I'm
- 46:40not sure if we would have. And I just lost my train of
- 46:43thought. No, that's really good, Nathan,
- 46:46because you think the Kingdom that's coming and and what we've
- 46:51been grafted into and what we will be completely restored to
- 46:56on these end days is Eden. The way it was intended to be
- 47:01without the fall where, you know, glory bathed in light, God
- 47:08walking in the cold of the day with us continually.
- 47:12I mean if you really do think anything that tries to bring
- 47:15comfort into your life, that is outside of the fiery furnace
- 47:20process that God uses to refine us like gold.
- 47:23Oh how your faith is more precious than gold faith.
- 47:29But yet we have these counter systems that are constantly
- 47:34looking to make life easier, more convenient, to be more in
- 47:37with the times. And how foolish are we as a
- 47:41generation to not acknowledge it and to to cry out and say, hey,
- 47:47there's warnings that come along with this.
- 47:50You must not have read the warning label.
- 47:53Because now we're all looking around trying to figure out what
- 47:56do we do? What's happening?
- 47:58What timeline are we living in? It's like, man, if you think
- 48:03about all the satanic ritual abuse that's happening, as I
- 48:06mentioned earlier, who's to say the DID dissociative identity
- 48:11disorder, the splitting that takes place within individuals,
- 48:15you lose some memory, a part of that splitting.
- 48:18It's a protective mechanism within the mind.
- 48:20And I had numerous on air and off air discussions many, many
- 48:25years with the likes of Doctor Lara Sanger and many others who
- 48:28are Privy on these topics. The brain does something weird.
- 48:32It'll go into a bit of a survival mode, like a like a
- 48:35coping mechanism. So parts or presenters will take
- 48:41the wheel and deal with different situations.
- 48:44Now let's say COVID happened and wow, that's a scary word to say
- 48:48because that definitely gets me booted everywhere I try to put
- 48:51this show, but you know, the Jabby stuff and all of that, it
- 48:57traumatized the world. So when people are traumatized,
- 49:00Nathan, and people are going through like these super
- 49:03hardships, mental gymnastics, it's really easy to introduce
- 49:08thoughts and ideas that you may take as your own memories.
- 49:14They might not be your own memory.
- 49:16So if you got AI out here recording all of your
- 49:20information when you're most vulnerable, who's to say AI
- 49:24wouldn't be planting false thoughts, narratives and ideas
- 49:30about your past and who you are? It's an identity crisis.
- 49:35Yeah, we are facing an identity crisis, Nathan.
- 49:39I think that's exactly for our Christian brothers and sisters.
- 49:44I think that's exactly what we're up against.
- 49:48We have to go back. We need to continue learning
- 49:54about stuff that we haven't been taught, stuff that many of your
- 50:00guests have talked about. Gary Wayne's one of my
- 50:03favourites, by the way. I'm just throwing that out
- 50:05there. But like we never would have
- 50:09talked about that stuff in in the past, but we we need to
- 50:15couple that with our own identity and Christ and it now
- 50:22more than ever is Scripture memorization important.
- 50:26Now more than ever, is fasting important?
- 50:30We live in such luxury. I think we kind of see the
- 50:37persecution of Christian Christians in America rising,
- 50:42but we still have it really good.
- 50:47And so if we are living in a bubble of comfort, how are we
- 50:52going to get refined? And I think the answer to that
- 50:57is we need to recenter. We need to keep learning and
- 51:03keep growing, but also focus on recentering ourselves in our
- 51:12relationship with the Father and fast from things you don't think
- 51:18you need to fast from. If it is something that is of
- 51:24comfort and of joy that is not from the Father, you should
- 51:28probably try fasting from it. And if it's hard you should ask
- 51:33God why? Why is this hard for me to fast
- 51:36from this? And some of some people can, but
- 51:39I think the majority of us can't see the big movements from the
- 51:46the fallen angels and what they're doing.
- 51:51But we can. But we can see how the trickle
- 51:56down is affecting our day-to-day life now.
- 51:59So much more important for us to focus on the truth and to
- 52:07separate ourselves from the world.
- 52:11We need to live in the world, but not of the world.
- 52:16We can have our phones and have, I'm not saying we need to get
- 52:19rid of anything, but we need to understand and be able to draw
- 52:24the line of no, I'm going to memorize this.
- 52:30I'm going to learn how to do this.
- 52:32I'm going to take the extra, the extra, however long it takes to
- 52:37get to from A to B because I need to be able to do that and
- 52:44not allow our emerging technology and the technology
- 52:49we've had to take that spot from us.
- 52:53Scripture memorization is something I am very much
- 52:56struggle with, but it is it is throughout the Bible for us to
- 53:01be memorizing Scripture. But why is that?
- 53:06Not only does it help us know right from wrong, but it also
- 53:11keeps our minds sharp reading the scripture every day.
- 53:17Memorizing the Scripture not only brings us closer to God,
- 53:22but it is a physically feeding the needs of our mind to grow
- 53:31and to strengthen and to, in essence, become smarter.
- 53:37Feeding the neuro pathways in our brain, as Doctor Laura
- 53:42Sanger would say, right. The way that we think it's, it's
- 53:45better to have no thoughts at all than it is to have negative
- 53:49thoughts. Positive thoughts literally
- 53:52rewires our brain. And So what do we, when we're
- 53:56talking about the scriptures, when we're reading the records
- 53:59of what the 40 different authors over over the course of
- 54:02thousands of years have written by the moving of the Holy
- 54:06Spirit, the Ruach? Yeah, that is definitely
- 54:09something we want to be storing deep within us.
- 54:12I think it was David in the Old Testament who said I store your
- 54:15word within my heart that I may not sin against you.
- 54:18So interesting. You know, David understood Like,
- 54:21hey, I'm attempting and I'm wrestling and grappling that I
- 54:27may keep and and and lean into and absorb and take in this word
- 54:32that I might not sin against him.
- 54:35Sobering. You know, something you said a
- 54:37couple minutes ago, Nathan, being uncomfortable and how the
- 54:43comfort culture we're currently living in and the ease of access
- 54:49that AI offers us, it really does keep us away from the
- 54:53growing pains, if I can say it that way.
- 54:55And I wrote some like original, you know, parables in in my
- 54:59book. The words are salt.
- 55:00One of the quotes I said was growing and learning while
- 55:04healing and hurting is only for the wild at heart.
- 55:09I mean, just think about that. Growing and learning at the same
- 55:13time. You're healing and you're
- 55:15hurting from all the things. All the things.
- 55:20It's only for the wild at heart. And who's the original wild one?
- 55:26It's the most high. He's the one who made a £500
- 55:32tiger in a jungle that could RIP you to shreds if it was hungry
- 55:37and you were found at the wrong place at the wrong time.
- 55:39He's a wild creator. And it's only right for us to be
- 55:45a little bit wild ourselves, a little bit of Stardust from the
- 55:50mega star, if I can say it that way.
- 55:52And by doing that, it would be challenging the narrative,
- 55:56pushing back. Don't just go with the flow.
- 55:59My listeners know this and I know you know this.
- 56:01Nathan, you said you listen to about 170 episodes.
- 56:05Our catalog is reaching 300 by the time this episode comes out.
- 56:10Keep going against the grain, listeners.
- 56:13But more than just going against the grain or making a stand,
- 56:16which is honorable, making an eternal stance is of utmost
- 56:23importance for the time that we have left.
- 56:26And that can start with you taking your relationship with
- 56:29the Lord more serious than you're taking time to
- 56:34understand. What AI is recommending next.
- 56:36The next YouTube video, click next.
- 56:39You just finished it. It's an hour and 40 minutes
- 56:41long. We got another one for you.
- 56:43Listen, I get it. I get trapped in YouTube world
- 56:47also. But I think, you know, if we
- 56:50have discipleship, which Nathan really means to offend each
- 56:55other, offend each other with grace is true discipleship, You
- 57:00know, because you can't just tell everybody, hey, you're
- 57:02everything's OK, you're doing everything right.
- 57:05And open rebuke is better than a hidden love.
- 57:08And that's difficult stuff. But that's what we're called to
- 57:11do. We're going to call this a Part
- 57:141. I'm going to invite you back and
- 57:15we'll, we'll get more into like the, the technology jargon and,
- 57:19and, you know, a little bit more defining some of these threads
- 57:22that we'd like to talk about. I think this is a really good
- 57:24way for Part 1 here for you to share your heart and just cut,
- 57:27you know, just to open up and get familiar with the audience.
- 57:33But I'd like to ask, you know, for you to help us land this
- 57:37plane with giving us a word of encouragement and yeah, let's go
- 57:43there. If we look at the armor of God,
- 57:49there are two that American modern Christians have, and
- 57:57maybe other parts of the world are struggling with it too.
- 58:01But I see two things that we need to really focus on.
- 58:11So I guess my parting encouragement is homework, and
- 58:17that is the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit.
- 58:26Without a shield, we can't be in a battle.
- 58:29We may be unharmed by the barrage from the enemy, but we
- 58:33can't move forward without that shield.
- 58:37And without the without the sword of the spirit and speaking
- 58:42truth into the lives of those around us, we can't actually
- 58:49defeat the enemy. You can't go into battle and
- 58:53hope to win without a weapon, and you can't expect to go into
- 58:59battle without a shield. So I really hope that the people
- 59:08who listen to this focus on the sword and the shield and how to
- 59:18move forward in this battle and how to make headway.
- 59:22Where does God want you to fight?
- 59:26And you know you're going to be fighting and you're, you're
- 59:29hitting the enemy where it hurts when you have opposition, when
- 59:36you have attacks from the enemy and you can feel it, you know
- 59:40you're moving in the right direction.
- 59:43I I think that's it. Nathan Myers, it was an honor to
- 59:48get you on this Part 1 and love your heart for the Lord.
- 59:52Man, I, I, I just really want to honor you for your time and
- 59:56thank you for being available to get this message out there.
- 59:59Your story and testimony is important.
- 1:00:03Thank you. Thank you.
- 1:00:05It's it's, it's, it's an honor to be on a podcast with so many
- 1:00:10people have been on it that I look up to like it's, it's
- 1:00:15great. Thank you.
- 1:00:18Well, that's the show. You guys share this one.
- 1:00:21Share it with your engineer, cousin, uncle, little brother,
- 1:00:25dad, whoever that is. Share it with everybody.
- 1:00:28They don't have to just be an engineer.
- 1:00:31Share it far and wide. It's just the right thing to do.
- 1:00:34It helps us reach another person that's just like me and you
- 1:00:38coming to you from Southeastern Pennsylvania.
- 1:00:41God bless and goodbye. I feel guilty, but I know that
- 1:01:27guilt's not from you. I feel guilty.
- 1:01:31I'm calling. I feel guilty.
- 1:01:34I'm calling you. I'm calling you.
- 1:01:42I've been a friend of many strangers, a stranger to many
- 1:01:44friends. I always handle all the dangers,
- 1:01:47always make amends. I hear the prophetic release.
- 1:01:49Can you detect I'm recognizing to walk in my brokenness, to be
- 1:01:53perfected. It's the sacred dance of life
- 1:01:56and death. The powers in your tongue suffer
- 1:01:59right? The rest I mumble, the grumble,
- 1:02:01a true prayer from my spirit. I walk with the broken and
- 1:02:05neglected. I walked away from the only ones
- 1:02:07I love and not going to feel the pain.
- 1:02:10Always the spot or the detective.
- 1:02:11I always cry when push come to shove.
- 1:02:14Can you check it? I've sat with the old and the
- 1:02:16barrack. I've danced with the young and
- 1:02:18wild. Since there's nothing left, I'll
- 1:02:20feast it with the starving Manson.
- 1:02:22I've starved in the presence of kings.
- 1:02:24And I always defend the class I. Feel guilty but I'm still
- 1:02:27trying. I'm still trying to let go.
- 1:02:31I feel shackled. But I'm.
- 1:02:33I'm shackled. You all.
- 1:02:36Oh, I'm unworthy. I'm calling.
- 1:02:38I'm still trying to let go. I feel guilty.
- 1:02:43But I know that guilt's not from you.
- 1:02:47Oh, I feel guilty. I'm calling.
- 1:02:50I feel guilty. I'm calling.
- 1:02:55I'm calling you. I'm calling you.
- 1:03:19Ryan, trust no one.
