- 0:06is advised. The loved ones of missing adults go through thought processes that are
- 0:13impossible to relate to by someone who has not experienced them. Analyzing every facet
- 0:20of that person's life, scrutinizing every recent stressor they've been dealing with, or
- 0:26recalling every bad decision they've ever made are often part of the process. Even
- 0:32if the disappearance is starkly uncharacteristic, Clinging to the threads of hope that it
- 0:38was simply a relapse or mental breakdown, something that is undoubtedly worrisome, but
- 0:44temporary and fixable once the individual is found safe is almost inevitable, and for
- 0:50good reason. Loved ones of a person who goes missing often learn fast that
- 0:56figures and statistics highly favor the probability of a good outcome. In a vast
- 1:03majority of cases, the missing adult is found relatively quickly, alive and unharmed.
- 1:10But for the families and friends of the remaining minority, life can become
- 1:15a seemingly never ending nightmare. After a certain amount of time goes by with
- 1:21no sign of their loved one, an amount of time that is never long
- 1:25and certainly varies depending on the missing person's life and personality. The ability to
- 1:30hold on to those could bees and maybees begins to deteriorate. Panic tinged to
- 1:37fear as the product of worry and uncertainty, always accompanies this crumbling of hope.
- 1:44When the actions of someone intimate with the missing individual become strange or questionable,
- 1:49and when the circumstances surrounding that relationship become known to have been volatile,
- 1:55holding on to hope can become a near impossibility. I mean, no one
- 2:00can speculate. If you know you're going off of facts. You can't say
- 2:04somebody, as a matter of fact, did this to her. We don't
- 2:07have that proof, right because we haven't found her. However, there's no
- 2:13excuse for taking the money out of you know, that emotional manipulative You know,
- 2:20he told the kids that she left them, he wasn't looking for her.
- 2:25A steady fear, compounded by grief, begins to consume family and friends,
- 2:30even as the loved one's fate is unknown. Their thought processes then become
- 2:37much less centered on analyzing the missing person's recent or past stressors and habits,
- 2:43and focused more on the movements and behaviors of the potentially troublesome person close to
- 2:49them. When someone whose actions or behaviors are in question was the last known
- 2:53individual to have seen the missing person, hope is often replaced by a law
- 3:00for justice. A minute ago, you heard from Jovanna. On May first,
- 3:06twenty sixteen, her sister Bianca Carrasco went missing from San Antonio, Texas.
- 3:13Jovanna knew right away the circumstances behind the disappearance didn't make any sense,
- 3:19not the way Bianca's husband, Daniel explained them. To this day, Bianca's
- 3:24whereabouts appear to be less shrouded by mystery than they are purposefully concealed by confusion
- 3:32and obfuscation. Bianca Zanette Palomino was born in Odessa, Texas, on July
- 4:00twenty first, nineteen eighty six, to parents Michael and Barbara. When Michael
- 4:06and Barbara parted ways, Bianca and her older sister Jovanna went with their father
- 4:12to Houston. Childhood was tough for the sisters. Not only was their family
- 4:17broken, but also their father kept them from seeing their mother and her side
- 4:23of the family. Mom was in and out of prison for drug related convictions.
- 4:29Perhaps because of that, Michael's strict household and their upbringing in general,
- 4:33Jovanna and Bianca developed a close relationship. A strong bond is often felt between
- 4:41siblings who experienced trauma. When Bianca became pregnant at age seventeen, her father
- 4:47kicked her out of the house. After giving birth, she was forced to
- 4:53give the baby up for adoption, a reluctant decision that devastated her. Shortly
- 4:59thereafter, Bianca packed up her things and moved to Odessa in an attempt to
- 5:03get to know her mother and that side of the family. But because mom
- 5:08continued to struggle with drug abuse and had trouble with the law as the result,
- 5:13developing any kind of worthwhile relationship just wouldn't work itself out. While in
- 5:18Odessa, lost and with no dependable family near her to help her make a
- 5:25healthy transition into adulthood, Bianca fell into a life many young folks do.
- 5:30When she did get to Odessa, she was going down a very bad path
- 5:36of getting mixed with the wrong people, got into drugs. She was a
- 5:42stripper for a short amount of time, and that's actually how they got involved
- 5:48the he Jovanna is referring to is a man named Joe Daniel Carrosco, who
- 5:55was known to most by his middle name. As a quick note, its
- 5:59most often reported that he and Bianca were eleven years apart, but he was
- 6:03born in nineteen seventy seven and she in nineteen eighty six, Their birthdays separated
- 6:09by only a few months. There is instead a nine year age difference.
- 6:15Around two thousand and five, Daniel, twenty seven or twenty eight years old
- 6:18at the time, connected with eighteen year old Bianca at the strip club she
- 6:24worked for. Things were particularly tough for Bianca at the time. There's no
- 6:30question she was immensely vulnerable, and Daniel offered her a level of attentiveness she
- 6:34lacked. More importantly, he offered stability. You know, my dad disowned
- 6:42her and made her, gave her a baby up for adoption, went to
- 6:45look for my mom. She didn't have any family support. Although she never
- 6:49really knew Daniel before coming back to Odessa, he'd been married to Bianca's aunt.
- 6:56They officially divorced in the year two thousand, after all most most four
- 7:00years of marriage, but by all indications, their relationship continued to some degree.
- 7:06According to Bianca's close friend Julie. Things ended between her aunt and Daniel
- 7:12in March of two thousand and five when he caught her in the act of
- 7:15cheating with his best friend. This didn't end well, particularly for the best
- 7:20friend, and what happened as the result might have some relevance further along in
- 7:27the story of this case. As it played out, Daniel rebounded from the
- 7:31situation fast, and it was with Bianca he pursued her, first at the
- 7:38strip club and then beyond. Something reminiscent of a father figure. He made
- 7:44her feel loved and protected, and that was exactly what she needed at the
- 7:47time. They began a serious relationship, which strengthened when Bianca became pregnant.
- 7:56Her sister, Jovanna, and certainly others were less thrilled with the relationship between
- 8:01Bianca and Daniel. Nobody approved of the relationship. I never approved of the
- 8:07relationship. I loved her through her choices, but no one encouraged her.
- 8:15Still, their relationship deepened, and Bianca once again became estranged from her mother.
- 8:22She and Daniel were married in March of two thousand and seven and went
- 8:26on to have two more children. The couple got on with their lives,
- 8:30and as far as the information available to us goes, it looks as if
- 8:33the family was normal and healthy from the outside looking in. According to some,
- 8:39however, Bianca and Daniel's marriage was rocky from the get go. One
- 8:45thing is certain. By the time the couple moved to another Texas city several
- 8:50years into the relationship, things between them quickly became strained. In twenty sixteen,
- 8:56those problems came to a head. With all the distractions and stress that
- 9:11come along with creating a podcast, and the many more that come with just
- 9:16living the day to day, it's difficult to stay focused while writing and researching.

- 10:20newly married and ready to do something meaningful with her life, Bianca Carrasco began
- 10:26a fast track program to become an LVN, or Licensed Vocational Nurse. The
- 10:31program lasted a year straight through, five days a week and was certainly an
- 10:37intense course, but she was smart and motivated, definitely up to the challenge.
- 10:45To those who knew her, Bianca's chosen career path was no big surprise,
- 10:48really, as she was an attentive, compassionate, and caring individual.
- 10:54During the LVN program, Bianca met Julie, who would go on to become
- 11:00her close friend and confidant. After finding out they lived within blocks of one
- 11:05another, the friendship seemed meant to be. They carpooled the class during the
- 11:11week and studied together on the weekends. Julie quickly became like a part of
- 11:16the family. We went to nursing school together and then we once we graduated
- 11:22and set for the boards and got our licenses, we worked for the same
- 11:24hospital together. And so with him working in the old field, you know,
- 11:28they're gone sometimes it's usually like a seven off, seven on rotation.
- 11:33And so Bianca and I staggered our schedules to where we worked opposite of each
- 11:39other, and I would help her by keeping her kids, you know,
- 11:45whenever he was gone at work, and vice versa. She would help me
- 11:48with my kids. So we kind of tagged teams together to help each other
- 11:54with the kids. At the hospital where they both worked, Julie watched Bianca
- 12:00fully come into her own. She developed bonds with her patients and took pride
- 12:05in giving them the best care she could possibly give. Bianca advocated for her
- 12:11patients and their families, Julie said. In October of twenty thirteen, after
- 12:18she, Daniel, and the kids moved to San Antonio, where they bought
- 12:22a house in the Longs Creek area in the city's northeast, Bianca began attending
- 12:28the Galen College of Nursing to obtain her RN or Registered Nurse certification. She
- 12:35graduated the program in the fall of twenty fifteen and began work as a registered
- 12:41nurse at Toprawine Medical Center, a cancer clinic in nearby Live Oak. Bianca's
- 12:46patients adored her. They'd later make remarks about how inspirational and genuinely empathetic she
- 12:54was as they trudged through chemotherapy and other treatments. It was in her nature
- 13:01to care for and help others. She was a giver, She was a
- 13:03helper, She was a fixer. At some point around the time she officially
- 13:09became an RN, Bianca and Daniels separated, although they still continued to live
- 13:15together in their middle class suburban home with their three children. It isn't clear
- 13:20if Daniel's consistent absence from the home due to his work on Odessa and Ector
- 13:26County oil fields, was a factor in the couple's growing apart but it seems
- 13:31like a likely contributor. Because Bianca didn't think those around her would understand,
- 13:37and because she didn't want to deal with folks trying to talk her out of
- 13:41separating from her husband, Bianca was very secretive about she and Daniel's marital problems
- 13:48and their status as separated. While the media would later report Bianca as dating
- 13:54several men after the separation. This appears not to have been the case.
- 14:00Instead, she's believed to have been in a serious relationship with one man who
- 14:05she'd not yet told that she was taking the steps necessary for a divorce,
- 14:09but still technically married. She considered Daniel her ex husband, according to a
- 14:15change in her Facebook status, At the very least. At this point,
- 14:20Jovanna was well aware of her sister's situation. There was a lot of drama,
- 14:24Jovanna would later say, and she was keeping up with Bianca on a
- 14:28daily basis. Bianca was sending Jovanna some alarming text messages, things like I
- 14:35feel like I want to go to sleep and not wake up. She and
- 14:39Daniel were not speaking unless there was a conflict. Unless there was a conflict,
- 14:46because Bianca talked about giving him custody of the kids so they'd be better
- 14:50taken care of financially speaking, her close friend Julie believed Daniel was manipulating her
- 14:56into thinking she could not take care of them. It was probably not the
- 15:01first sign of spousal abuse through financial manipulation, and certainly not the last.
- 15:09Daniel would spitefully compare Bianca to her mother, implying that she didn't have the
- 15:13ability to take care of her kids. Julie told her friend that as a
- 15:18registered nurse, she absolutely had the ability to take care of the kids financially.
- 15:24All it would take was to seek out better paying work. Toward the
- 15:28end of April twenty sixteen, things between Bianca and Daniel Carrasco heated up.
- 15:37As things between he and Bianca continued despiral downward, Daniel quit his oil field
- 15:43work and got a job in San Antonio. He was having a hard time
- 15:48accepting the fact that she no longer desired to be with him, and thought
- 15:52being around the house more might begin to close the rift between them. It
- 15:58was delusional, perhaps, and anyway, his new line of work didn't last
- 16:03long. Daniel was unable to bear not knowing where Bianca was, who she
- 16:07was with, and what she was doing at any given moment. He was
- 16:12so consumed with Beianca's movements that he lost his job. Still, if he
- 16:18only knew, Daniel thought he could somehow gain the knowledge he needed to save
- 16:23the marriage. Not at all careful what he wished for, the desperate man
- 16:29instead uncovered something he perhaps did not expect. Everything happened unimaginably fast. I
- 16:37don't know. He made me think he was worried about her as like just
- 16:42an individual, Like he was worried if she was going, you know,
- 16:47if she was doing drugs and she was hanging out with people that she wasn't
- 16:49supposed to. He made it sound like he was concerned about her in that
- 16:55way, and he just she clearly wouldn't let it go, and those days
- 17:04leading up just got really bad after he manipulated her to do so. Jovanna
- 17:11helped Daniel gain access to her sister's callogue on Wednesday, April twenty seventh,
- 17:18twenty sixteen, and he discovered Beyonca's new relationship. Thinking about what Bianca Carrasco
- 17:25went through the next few days is terrifying. Daniel immediately transferred all the money
- 17:30from he and Bianca's joint checking account to one only he had access to money,
- 17:37of course, that also belonged to her. Bianca bought a new cell
- 17:41phone to keep Daniel out of her business and began discussing what was happening over
- 17:47texts with Jovanna and Julie. According to them, she also began confiding to
- 17:53co workers about her new love interest and the goings on with Daniel, like
- 17:59the fact that he'd found out about the man she'd been seeing, had taken
- 18:03measures to essentially render her penniless save the little room left on her credit card.
- 18:10Bianca showed her coworker's texts Daniel had been sending to her new phone threats
- 18:15she had received between Wednesday, the twenty seventh and Friday, the twenty ninth.
- 18:21On each day, the messages were disturbing, but as a survivor of
- 18:26plenty of trauma throughout her life, Bianca joked her way through them. As
- 18:30she shared still she was obviously taking them somewhat seriously. At the same time,
- 18:38after receiving a text that he was going to show up at her place
- 18:41of employment on one of those days, Bianca left early. Other texts were
- 18:48far blunter, it's reported, and simply stated that he Daniel was going to
- 18:53kill her. On Friday, April twenty ninth, after sharing texts with them,
- 19:00Bianca joked to coworkers, well, if I go missing, you know
- 19:03what happened to me. Within these few days, Daniel called the guy his
- 19:08estranged wife had been seeing. Upon finding out she was married, Bianca's boyfriend
- 19:15confronted her and not comfortable dating a woman who was still officially married ended the
- 19:22relationship. Bianca was apparently very invested in this man, and Daniel's meddling hadn't
- 19:29had the effect he'd likely intended. Now she was ready to get the divorce
- 19:34moving at once, and she told Daniel as much. On Sunday, May
- 19:40one, twenty sixteen, at around two pm, Bianca spoke with Jovanna over
- 19:45the phone. The days since Daniel found out about her new relationship had been
- 19:51intense and even terrifying. One night, at around two am, Bianca told
- 19:56Jovanna she awoke to find Daniel standing in over her. She'd made an appointment
- 20:03with an attorney to get divorce proceedings started, Bianca went on, and she
- 20:07also wanted to discuss getting custody of the kids. Daniel had beaten into Bianca's
- 20:14head doubts about her ability to keep primary guardianship, and she calmly expressed those
- 20:21doubts to Jovanna, sort of thinking out loud about how she'd figure something out
- 20:26to get it done. Not long after they got off the phone, Bianca
- 20:30posted a snapchat video of her and one of the kids. It was twenty
- 20:37nine year old Bianca Carrosco's last known activity of any kind at that point,
- 20:42and the explanation of the circumstances surrounding her further movements that evening were about as
- 20:48suspect as they come. On Monday, May second, twenty sixteen, Jovanna
- 21:07couldn't get a hold of Bianca. Her phone oddly was turned off. That
- 21:12afternoon, sometime around four pm, Jovanna phoned her sister's estranged husband, Daniel.
- 21:21She'd spoken to him many times in the two weeks leading up to this
- 21:23call as he obsessed about trying to save the marriage, but on this call
- 21:30there was a different tone. And that's when I knew something was wrong with
- 21:34that Monday after she went missing and I spoke to him, he sounded completely
- 21:40opposite. I mean, it was like night and day from what he had
- 21:45been how he had sounded for weeks, carrying over obsessing to just passive,
- 21:55though he was strangely calm and seemingly rational when he told it. Story left
- 22:00a lot to be desired. The night before, Daniel told Jovanna, after
- 22:06she put the kids to bed, he and Bianca began arguing. After the
- 22:11fight, according to Daniel, Bianca told him she was done and leaving before
- 22:15walking out of their house on the sixteen thousand block of Walnut Creek Drive in
- 22:21northeast San Antonio. This immediately struck Jovanna as odd. She could picture Bianca
- 22:29leaving the house in her car, but to leave by foot was unusual for
- 22:33her. Bianca didn't take walks, her sister knew. Daniel, anyway,
- 22:40continued with the story. Just after she walked out of the house. He
- 22:45told Jovanna he left for Odessa to go to work, taking his and Bianca's
- 22:49youngest child with him. As they headed off, Daniel went on he saw
- 22:55Bianca walking down the street. This also made little sense. She knew her
- 23:02brother in law had quit his job in Odessa and had also recently quit his
- 23:06job in San Antonio to keep dibbs on Bianca and anyway, why would he
- 23:11take the kid? Why would he leave the two others, nine and ten
- 23:15years old home alone. After getting off the phone with Daniel, Jovanna called
- 23:21her other sisters to let them know what was going on. In a last
- 23:26ditch effort, that day, family posted about Bianca's disappearance on social media.
- 23:33The next morning, now May the third, and almost two full days since
- 23:37Jovanna had heard from her sister. She talked to Bianca's boss. Jovanna was
- 23:42told that Bianca hadn't shown up for work or even called both that day and
- 23:48the previous, something that starkly contrasted her generally responsible character. She again called
- 23:56Daniel. He told her Bianca was probably just off with some guy. She'd
- 24:02left on her own, and he didn't want to report her missing to police,
- 24:06Daniel told Jovanna, who was shocked by what she was hearing. After
- 24:11hanging up with Daniel, Jovanna called the San Antonio police and reported everything.
- 24:17They were also reluctant to list Bianca as a missing person at first, a
- 24:22treatment unfortunately often rendered to adults who disappear. Officers visited Jovanna at her home
- 24:30in Houston. She told them everything she knew. Bianca left without her car.
- 24:37It was paid off and her purse was inside. Daniel had told her
- 24:41so it made no sense for her to leave the vehicle behind. If she
- 24:45had simply walked away from her life and her kids, whether temporarily or permanently,
- 24:51and that was the other thing. Bianca would have never walked away from
- 24:55her three children, especially now when she'd been strategizing how to get guardianship of
- 25:00them upon her divorce from Daniel, But Jovanna had no answer to one of
- 25:06their questions, why hadn't Daniel called them instead? In her presence? An
- 25:11officer called him. Upon answering the call, Daniel told the policeman he had
- 25:18the wrong number and hung up. Things Jovanna knew weren't looking good. It's
- 25:26unclear to us exactly when the San Antonio police decided to list Bianca as a
- 25:32missing person, but they did seemed to investigate some in the meantime. When
- 25:37they were finally able to speak with Daniel, he told them Bianca had been
- 25:41cheating on him and she likely just left town with the guy in question.
- 25:48He told police that Bianca had given him her wedding ring back before leaving,
- 25:52a detail later disputed by family. Later, Jovanna provided the cops with what
- 25:59they need did to find her sister's boyfriend. When they went to visit,
- 26:03detectives discovered he was out of town for a game with a sports team he
- 26:07coached. Speaking with him would have to wait. Investigators had no leads,
- 26:15and upon obtaining Bianca Carrasco's cell phone records, it appears they didn't fare any
- 26:21better. They saw her call with Jovanna, learned about some social media activity,
- 26:26and that she left the house at about three in the afternoon, after
- 26:30which she kept in contact with her daughter over text. After returning home sometime
- 26:37before eight pm at eight oh eight, she shot a text to the guy
- 26:41she'd been seeing and called him exactly thirty minutes later. When that call was
- 26:47over, activity on the phone stopped until ten twenty two pm. At that
- 26:52time, Bianca's phone was turned off inside her and Daniel's home. It was
- 26:59never turned back on. A call was placed from Daniel's cell phone the exact
- 27:06time her phone had been turned off, the first activity on his for more
- 27:11than two hours. When police finally began treating Bianca's case as it should have
- 27:18been from the time they learned of the disappearance, an endangered missing person's case,
- 27:23they issued Beyond the Lookout or BOLO. They also made flyers describing her,
- 27:30which were distributed both digitally and physically. Bianca Carrasco, the description read,
- 27:37is a twenty nine year old Latina with brown shoulder length hair and brown
- 27:41eyes. She's right handed, where's contact lenses on her hip is a tattoo
- 27:48of the letter B, and on her abdomen there's a large surgical scar.
- 27:53Bianca stands five feet one inch tall and weighs about one hundred and twenty five
- 27:59pounds. The description continued, though that weight is certainly on the high end
- 28:03of estimations. I do know that he was working out daily lifting weights.
- 28:11You know, he wasn't he was in shape, and Bianca was like one
- 28:17hundred pounds, one hundred and twenty pounds at most. Petit, very petite.
- 28:23Small. Also included in the flyer's description of Bianca was what Joe Daniel
- 28:30Carrasco told the San Antonio police she was wearing when he last saw her,
- 28:36pastel multi colored leggings, a blue denim jacket, and wedge shoes. She
- 28:42also carried her pink Prada purse, he told them, which contained a black
- 28:48Prada wallet. It was the first time her sister Jovanna and friend Julie heard
- 28:53anything about what she might have been wearing early on. When Jovanna asked Daniel,
- 29:00he told her he couldn't remember. He'd also told her the purse was
- 29:04left in Beanca's car. Like so many aspects of Beyanca's case, particularly when
- 29:12its information up against Daniel's side of things. It's unclear which is true.
- 29:18The outfit, too, was out of character for the missing woman, who
- 29:22Julie described as very into fashion. It didn't sound like something she would wear,
- 29:29and aspects of the outfit didn't match. Julie said it was something Bianca
- 29:34would have never paired together, if she even owned those particular items at all.
- 29:41In a rare comment to the media, Daniel claimed his and Beanca's divorce
- 29:45papers had already been drawn up and were being processed. That simply was not
- 29:52true. For Julie and Jovanna. Nothing was adding up the area. Search
- 29:59is on foot, atv and by drones. Two in Bianca's neighborhood turned up
- 30:04nothing. Even dogs couldn't pick up a workable trail, as if she hadn't
- 30:11taken off on foot from her home. On May fourth, twenty sixteen,
- 30:18in the middle of the night, Child Protective Services performed an emergency removal of
- 30:22Bianca and Daniel's children from their northeast San Antonio home. An employee of the
- 30:30daycare the Carrascoes used had called to report that Bianca and Daniel fought often and
- 30:36they were concerned for the three kids' safety now that their mother was missing.
- 30:41For the next six months, unaware of exactly what was going on, the
- 30:45children lived with Jovanna. They were returned to Daniel after that period. The
- 31:04San Antonio police neglected to search the Carusco home for days after Bianca went missing.
- 31:12Likely a warrant would have been easily obtained, but it wasn't until several
- 31:17days after the disappearance, when Daniel called them and gave them permission to search,
- 31:22that they entered the house. He told them he could no longer afford
- 31:26to live there and was getting things ready to move so he could lease the
- 31:30place out. Using trained dogs and luminol to detect traces of blood, police
- 31:37searched the house and Bianca's car. If they found anything of real evidentiary value,
- 31:45they kept that information to themselves, though they were told Daniel's car was
- 31:51also searched. Bianca's family later learned that was not the case, after reviewing
- 31:57her missing friend's phone wrecord and speaking with at least one individual who had talked
- 32:02to Bianca earlier in the day she'd gone missing. Had never even reached out
- 32:07to speak with this person. Bianca Carrasco, as near certainty as a situation
- 32:15can get, did not disappear on purpose by walking away from her life.
- 32:21Like most folks these days, she was glued to technology. Bianca was essentially
- 32:28a city girl. She didn't like camping or hiking, and would have probably
- 32:32dreaded even the thought of living without social media and other modern luxuries and conveniences.
- 32:39There's been no social Security activity, and her driver's license hasn't been renewed.
- 32:45She had a small amount of money in a personal checking account that was
- 32:50never touched. Bianca left her car behind, which was paid for. Theorizing
- 32:55she'd have left without it requires a leap in logic. Perhaps the biggest single
- 33:01reason to discount Bianca left of her own free will is her children. Her
- 33:07family and friends insist she'd never have done such a thing. A vast majority
- 33:14of mothers wouldn't. By the end of twenty sixteen, the San Antonio police
- 33:21finally announced they had determined that foul play could not be ruled out in Bianca's
- 33:27disappearance. Although there were certainly two persons of interest Joe Daniel Carrasco and the
- 33:34man Bianca had been seeing, police never publicly named a suspect. According to
- 33:39Bianca's loved ones, her boyfriend has been eliminated. They also said Daniel clammed
- 33:46up and stopped cooperating with police at some point after agreeing to but then declining
- 33:52to take a polygraph examination. Also, at some point after Bianca vanished,
- 34:00Daniel deactivated his social media accounts. Apparently he has only been questioned once.
- 34:07Bianca's close friend Julie, believes Daniel snapped during an argument at the house,
- 34:13killed her, placed her in the trunk of his car, and dumped her
- 34:15body somewhere between San Antonio and Odessa. There are three hundred and forty miles
- 34:22of nothing but open space and small towns between the two Texas cities, making
- 34:28search efforts nearly impossible without Daniel's cell phone activity logs, of which police will
- 34:35release almost no details. We know Daniel is capable of violence, as he
- 34:42severely beat his best friend when he found him sleeping with his ex wife and
- 34:45girlfriend. He broke his nose and his ribs. Efforts by private investigators hired
- 34:52by Bianca's loved ones have been in vain, mostly due to the fact that
- 34:58police will not share information with them. Odessa Crime Stoppers has put up billboards
- 35:04and offered the standard one thousand dollars reward for information leading to the arrest and
- 35:08indictment of a suspect in the case. While it's unknown exactly what police in
- 35:15San Antonio are up to concerning Bianca's disappearance, as they remain mum about the
- 35:21case, likely they're simply waiting for someone to come forward with the right information.
- 35:29For someone who had been trying desperately to save his marriage to Bianca before
- 35:32she went missing, immediately before she went missing, it is markedly odd Joe
- 35:38Daniel Carrasco has neither advocated nor looked for her. On the other hand,
- 35:45Jovanna and Julie have been consistently pushing for answers both from the public and police,
- 35:52by keeping Bianca's face and story on social media and persuading news outlets to
- 35:58publish segments send articles. They've reached out to many podcasts who have published episodes
- 36:05about Bianca's disappearance. Julie and Jovanna have also received some help from Project Absentis,
- 36:14a Texas based nonprofit organization made up of retired and former FBI agents and
- 36:19other law enforcement who seek to assist families of missing persons and locating their loved
- 36:24ones to directly quote their website. This is one of the several messages to
- 36:30Joe Daniel Carrasco sent by Abel M. Paigna of Project Absentis. So again,
