- 0:00Speaker 1: Congress needs to get to work out there, and I'm
- 0:02Speaker 1: talking now Clarity is on the verge of maybe not
- 0:05Speaker 1: going through. We'll break it down for you and we'll
- 0:07Speaker 1: talk to a procrypto candidate today. Let's just jump into it.
- 0:11Speaker 1: I do want to thank our sponsor, and that is Tangents.
- 0:13Speaker 1: If you are into crypto, this should be on your
- 0:15Speaker 1: checklist to get to become a self custy holder of
- 0:18Speaker 1: your own tokens. The way you can do that is
- 0:20Speaker 1: just visit tangum dot com, get into your hardware. Wallet
- 0:24Speaker 1: works with your phone, very easy to set up, super secure,
- 0:27Speaker 1: and it is one of the best wallets out there.
- 0:29Speaker 1: So you guys use it and of course use my
- 0:32Speaker 1: link down below. It's going to help us out and
- 0:34Speaker 1: hopefully get you in the process. And even if you're
- 0:36Speaker 1: brand new on crypto, you can do this. It's very easy.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Don't let people think make you think it's hard. It's not.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Let's go over to some of the topics, and one
- 0:44Speaker 1: of the biggest ones is the Clarity Act and where
- 0:47Speaker 1: are we everybody's asking about it this week it looked
- 0:50Speaker 1: as though we had a little bit of openness in
- 0:53Speaker 1: the early part of the week. Now what we're dealing
- 0:55Speaker 1: with is that the date is starting to slip a
- 0:58Speaker 1: little bit. The schedule was released for next week's schedule,
- 1:01Speaker 1: which did not mention a Clariac markup. So are people
- 1:05Speaker 1: now saying, wait a minute, if this doesn't happen now
- 1:08Speaker 1: or by the end of the month, does this thing die?
- 1:11Speaker 1: What would happen there? Now we have a pro crypto candidate,
- 1:15Speaker 1: because this of course gets into what Congress should be
- 1:18Speaker 1: doing to try to pass many of these bills, but
- 1:20Speaker 1: also other things around the American movement, I think, especially
- 1:25Speaker 1: whether it's in digital assets or stuff like that. But
- 1:27Speaker 1: I want to play an ad from this candidate and
- 1:29Speaker 1: then we'll bring him in. Take a look.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I'm Joe Shizzy and I'm fucking pissed off.
- 1:36Speaker 1: All right, So if anybody's pissed off, it's me because
- 1:38Speaker 1: we're not getting anything done. So I wanted to bring
- 1:41Speaker 1: in Joe Shizzy coming in from the seventh District of Virginia.
- 1:45Speaker 1: How are you, Joe?
- 1:46Speaker 2: I'm doing great today, I would stay excellent.
- 1:48Speaker 1: First of all, what is this twenty first, April twenty
- 1:52Speaker 1: first special election?
- 1:53Speaker 2: For?
- 1:53Speaker 1: What are they gonna do?
- 1:54Speaker 2: So Virginia is currently in the process of having a
- 1:57Speaker 2: democratic redistricting where everyone in the state can vote to
- 2:02Speaker 2: draw new congressional boundaries by next Tuesday, April twenty first.
- 2:07Speaker 2: And it's really about fair maps and checks and balances.
- 2:11Speaker 2: You know, America needs checks and balances to function personally.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I think a lot of Republicans in Congress have forgotten
- 2:18Speaker 2: this and allowed the executive branch to get away with
- 2:21Speaker 2: starting illegal wars, firing federal workers illegally, and just all
- 2:27Speaker 2: manners of corruption. So in order to maintain checks and balances,
- 2:33Speaker 2: Virginia has decided, Okay, if other states states are redistricting
- 2:37Speaker 2: to give Republicans an unfair advantage in Texas, Ohio, North Carolina,
- 2:43Speaker 2: and Florida, Virginia has a chance to redistrict if the
- 2:46Speaker 2: voters want us to as well.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Okay, all right, and that happens next week on the
- 2:50Speaker 1: twenty first.
- 2:51Speaker 2: That's right, So that election will go through. It will
- 2:54Speaker 2: create a new district where I live in Virginia. It'll
- 2:57Speaker 2: create a new seventh district with no in and that
- 3:01Speaker 2: is the seat that I'm running for.
- 3:04Speaker 1: All right, there you go, And of course you guys
- 3:05Speaker 1: can go to VoJo dot org right there start to
- 3:09Speaker 1: help participate within this, what is your background with web
- 3:12Speaker 1: three and crypto? I saw that you were in the
- 3:14Speaker 1: Ethereum ecosystem, but how far back into crypto do you go?
- 3:18Speaker 2: I first kind of got interested in like alternative financial
- 3:21Speaker 2: things after two thousand and eight my family almost lost
- 3:25Speaker 2: our home to a very very greedy system just of
- 3:28Speaker 2: greedy bankers, you know, and it was it was a
- 3:31Speaker 2: really hard time for a lot of families, I think.
- 3:33Speaker 2: So I've always kind of been drawed to kind of
- 3:36Speaker 2: what can we do to make finance more fair and
- 3:40Speaker 2: more equal for working people. One of the things I've
- 3:42Speaker 2: done in Ethereum is created a system to borrow against
- 3:47Speaker 2: tokenized renewable energy certificates so that we can fund more
- 3:51Speaker 2: renewable energy. Other things around mutual aid, around dows, and
- 3:56Speaker 2: around tokenization of assets that I think makes finance more open,
- 4:00Speaker 2: more transparent, and more fair. So in terms of Ethereum specifically,
- 4:04Speaker 2: I started working at Consensus in twenty seventeen. Okay, I've
- 4:08Speaker 2: contributed to a lot of stable coin projects, Municipal Finance,
- 4:13Speaker 2: which was trying to create municipal bond back stable coins
- 4:17Speaker 2: so that we could fund roads and hospitals. I've also
- 4:21Speaker 2: contributed to a number of defive protocols over the years.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Very nice. Well, listen, we need more people in Congress
- 4:28Speaker 1: that understand what's going on in crypto, or at least
- 4:31Speaker 1: understand the basics of what's going on in crypto. You
- 4:34Speaker 1: can educate the others of these feckless people that don't
- 4:37Speaker 1: do anything.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Sorry, but that's a very you know, I want to
- 4:43Speaker 2: be an engineer, you know, but the way that this
- 4:46Speaker 2: country is going, I'm just so upset about it. Done
- 4:50Speaker 2: it personally.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Well, let's get into the one area that I know
- 4:53Speaker 1: europset about, and that is world liberty, finance and everything
- 4:56Speaker 1: that's happening within that. This is interesting things and I
- 5:00Speaker 1: think most of people probably have seen some of the
- 5:03Speaker 1: stuff that's been around over there on crypto Twitter, and
- 5:06Speaker 1: it's pretty significant. Explain your analysis of this so far.
- 5:11Speaker 2: It's one of the Trump you know, insiders groups, many
- 5:14Speaker 2: scams that they've pulled against the crypto community and against
- 5:18Speaker 2: the citizens of our country and the world. Really, they
- 5:21Speaker 2: keep launching these things where they say, yeah, trust us,
- 5:23Speaker 2: you know, where one of you guys, you know, give
- 5:26Speaker 2: us your money, put your money in here, and then
- 5:28Speaker 2: what do they do? They steal all of it for themselves.
- 5:30Speaker 2: They never had any intention of contributing to decentralized finance
- 5:35Speaker 2: or making finance more fair. It's all a giant exit
- 5:39Speaker 2: exit scam for them, and it always will be. You know.
- 5:42Speaker 2: It's an entire family of con artists. And I think
- 5:45Speaker 2: the American people have had enough, and I think everybody
- 5:48Speaker 2: in Web three world should have enough to stop giving
- 5:51Speaker 2: them your money and stop buying their meme coins.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Well, there's definitely some drama going on between World Liberty
- 5:56Speaker 1: find justin Sun, which has been started to air out
- 6:00Speaker 1: there in the open public, and you know, I think
- 6:03Speaker 1: maybe on the crypto side of things, and we'll ask
- 6:05Speaker 1: this in our lightning round with you a little bit later,
- 6:08Speaker 1: but I think a lot of people are looking at
- 6:10Speaker 1: this and saying, you know, this was not what Trump
- 6:13Speaker 1: really when he stepped out on that stage and was
- 6:16Speaker 1: talking to the bitcoin community and said, hey, we're going
- 6:18Speaker 1: to fire Gensler and we're going to really start to
- 6:20Speaker 1: shake things up. Everybody was looking at this being a
- 6:23Speaker 1: revolution for crypto, and now here we are, and this
- 6:27Speaker 1: is one of the things. It's just another black eye
- 6:29Speaker 1: that continues to kind of haunt crypto in general, which
- 6:34Speaker 1: is a problem. Do you think we will see World
- 6:36Speaker 1: Liberty Phi collapse.
- 6:39Speaker 2: I'm not going to make a prediction like that. I
- 6:42Speaker 2: would say that as a protocol it's almost certainly worthless.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I won't say what day it will collapse. You know,
- 6:48Speaker 2: it's based on code from ave another dfive Protocols that
- 6:53Speaker 2: has billions of dollars in it and is very reliable,
- 6:55Speaker 2: you know, so maybe it won't collapse. But as a protocol,
- 6:58Speaker 2: you can't expect con artists to maintain their code well,
- 7:01Speaker 2: and you can't expect them to keep their projects going,
- 7:04Speaker 2: especially after they've already rugged it for all of the
- 7:07Speaker 2: money in it. We I believe I agree with Justin
- 7:09Speaker 2: so I can't believe it.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Well, that's something that I was having a trouble with
- 7:13Speaker 1: as well. Yeah, is who sided you to fall on?
- 7:17Speaker 1: I said, well, I kind of fall on Sun's side
- 7:19Speaker 1: at this point of where things are going because of
- 7:22Speaker 1: just all the weirdness that seems to be happening around
- 7:25Speaker 1: this and it only is getting worse when you look
- 7:28Speaker 1: at some of the things that Trump has done, if
- 7:30Speaker 1: anything done right. The White House laid out its fixes
- 7:35Speaker 1: for the housing affordability problem. This is something that the
- 7:38Speaker 1: Democrats have tried to do for a long time, have
- 7:41Speaker 1: been unable to do anything to really improve housing. Trump
- 7:44Speaker 1: is at least doing something. What do you think did
- 7:47Speaker 1: he do a better job on housing the housing crisis
- 7:49Speaker 1: than Democrats?
- 7:51Speaker 2: Definitely not. I'll push back on the idea that Democrats
- 7:54Speaker 2: aren't doing enough work on housing. You know, I've been
- 7:56Speaker 2: an affordable housing activist in Virginia for several years and
- 8:01Speaker 2: been working on getting more affordable housing built in Arlington, Fairfax,
- 8:04Speaker 2: False Church through Nova Yimbi's through False Church Forward and
- 8:09Speaker 2: many other kind of local organizations that I've been contributing to. Look,
- 8:13Speaker 2: it comes down to supply and demand. It's a market, okay,
- 8:17Speaker 2: and we have to build more affordable housing. We can't
- 8:20Speaker 2: only put money into subsidies for the demand side. We
- 8:25Speaker 2: have to increase the supply of affordable housing a lot
- 8:29Speaker 2: because working people are suffering and the housing market is
- 8:32Speaker 2: just out of control. So I've even put forward that
- 8:35Speaker 2: I think we should declare a national housing emergency and
- 8:39Speaker 2: start treating the crisis that it is like we did
- 8:42Speaker 2: after World War Two when the troops came home and
- 8:44Speaker 2: we just started building.
- 8:45Speaker 1: How would that affordable housing be able to take where
- 8:49Speaker 1: would the money come from? How would that get funded
- 8:51Speaker 1: to the level that you're at?
- 8:52Speaker 2: So, I mean sure, let me give you an example.
- 8:55Speaker 2: There's an apartment complex in Arlington called Terwilliger Place and
- 9:00Speaker 2: it is on top of a foreign excuse me, an
- 9:03Speaker 2: American legion post which used to be mostly a parking
- 9:09Speaker 2: lot and a single family or a single story building.
- 9:11Speaker 2: And now it's one hundred and sixty apartments, half of
- 9:14Speaker 2: them reserved for veterans, and all affordable, all more affordable
- 9:19Speaker 2: in Arlington, which is one of the most expensive housing
- 9:22Speaker 2: markets in the entire country. So by taking land that
- 9:25Speaker 2: the federal government already has and funding it with loans
- 9:29Speaker 2: that pay interest to the taxpayers, right, so that that
- 9:32Speaker 2: was not just funded with public money, it was funded
- 9:35Speaker 2: with low interest loans, right, So that actually had a
- 9:38Speaker 2: positive ROI for the taxpayers in terms of actual dollars.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Plus a lot of homes got built for families and
- 9:46Speaker 2: veterans in our community. You know, those are the type
- 9:48Speaker 2: of projects that we need to support. So there's uns
- 9:51Speaker 2: of federal.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Lands out there to where you could.
- 9:55Speaker 2: There there's tons of federal land in our cities. VFW posts,
- 9:58Speaker 2: there are Boy Scout posts there are Amtrak stations. Everyone
- 10:03Speaker 2: that has a charter from Congress, like all those veterans
- 10:06Speaker 2: organizations that I mentioned, should be able to use the
- 10:09Speaker 2: Interstate Commerce Clause to not follow state state zoning requirements
- 10:15Speaker 2: and be able to build as much affordable housing on
- 10:17Speaker 2: their land as they want. Right, so that we can
- 10:19Speaker 2: get creative and we can unlock this without having a
- 10:22Speaker 2: huge cost burden and actually make money for the taxpayers
- 10:26Speaker 2: and meet the needs of our communities. We can do
- 10:28Speaker 2: that if we have leaders who are willing to right.
- 10:30Speaker 1: So that's my question, leaders that are willing to why.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I mean, if this is available, why have we not
- 10:36Speaker 1: seen this being done, whether it's even with the current
- 10:39Speaker 1: administration or even the past administration.
- 10:42Speaker 2: You're right, I think a lot of leaders, Yeah, you're
- 10:46Speaker 2: totally right to ask that. You know, I think a
- 10:48Speaker 2: lot of leaders have not taken the housing crisis seriously,
- 10:51Speaker 2: or they've said at the federal level, they're in Congress
- 10:54Speaker 2: and they're saying, that's just a state issue, that's just
- 10:57Speaker 2: a city issue. We don't want to get involved. And
- 11:00Speaker 2: that's been a mistake that has brought us to the
- 11:02Speaker 2: crisis that we are today. So that's why I'm running
- 11:05Speaker 2: to take housing affordability seriously and running as the affordable
- 11:10Speaker 2: housing candidate in my community.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Well, I think this is what first of all, that
- 11:13Speaker 1: affordable housing, but I think affordability for Americans is a
- 11:17Speaker 1: huge issue right now. That gets in to the topic
- 11:21Speaker 1: of stable coins. We'll talk about that here in a second.
- 11:24Speaker 1: But clarity, of course is brewing I wanted and clarity
- 11:27Speaker 1: being for many of you know that this is going
- 11:30Speaker 1: to have a major impact on crypto in general. What
- 11:33Speaker 1: we've done is we've prepared our lightning round and we
- 11:35Speaker 1: do this with our political candidates when they come on.
- 11:38Speaker 1: It's a lightning round. With John Deeton on here recently,
- 11:41Speaker 1: he's running up in Massachusetts, and I want to go
- 11:44Speaker 1: through the list with you. First up is if stable
- 11:48Speaker 1: coin yields of any kind are banned, but everything else
- 11:51Speaker 1: in clarity would be fine. Would you vote for it
- 11:54Speaker 1: if you were in Congress right now?
- 11:56Speaker 2: Probably? I mean, if that's the compromise that it takes
- 11:59Speaker 2: to have c We have to have clarity on crypto assets,
- 12:03Speaker 2: right we have to go after people who are doing
- 12:05Speaker 2: crimes and doing scams. It's going to be easier to
- 12:08Speaker 2: have government agencies going after the bad guys when we
- 12:12Speaker 2: have clear rules about what the good guys should follow. Yeah. Right,
- 12:16Speaker 2: so we have to get these kind of things pasts.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Okay, So my question to you would be, if you
- 12:20Speaker 1: say yes on that, that's the bank's winning, and that
- 12:24Speaker 1: of course pulls away you know, basic yield that Americans
- 12:28Speaker 1: are earning today, whether it's on coinbase or Uphold or
- 12:32Speaker 1: any of their platforms out there where they're drawing in
- 12:34Speaker 1: yield right now, wouldn't that directly a hit at affordability?
- 12:39Speaker 2: I would like stable coins to pass on yield, especially
- 12:43Speaker 2: if they're backed by triple A rated municipal bonds. Maybe
- 12:46Speaker 2: they could even be passing on tax advantages. We want
- 12:49Speaker 2: people's money to be giving them yield safely, right, stable
- 12:53Speaker 2: coins in clarity and genius, it requires that they're backed
- 12:57Speaker 2: by US treasuries, right, So you have to have this
- 13:00Speaker 2: level of quality. If we're reaching that, you know, maybe
- 13:03Speaker 2: yield makes a lot more sense. But in terms of
- 13:06Speaker 2: getting it past, I think the question was if everything
- 13:09Speaker 2: else was agreed upon, if that was the compromise.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Yeah, the compromise because everything else we have to be
- 13:14Speaker 1: DeFi we have privacy, self costoy, all the good things
- 13:17Speaker 1: that are in clarity right now. It is a a
- 13:21Speaker 1: hard one. It is a hard one. I think for
- 13:23Speaker 1: a lot of people in the crypto community, it's very
- 13:26Speaker 1: difficult for them to give up to the banks. The
- 13:29Speaker 1: future of finance in general would would literally fall back
- 13:33Speaker 1: into the hands of the banks, you know, in terms
- 13:35Speaker 1: of innovation, and it would kind of stifle I would
- 13:38Speaker 1: think a lot of innovation on the crypto side, because
- 13:41Speaker 1: this has been kind of a secret weapon, even though
- 13:43Speaker 1: it's only a two and a half trillion dollar market
- 13:45Speaker 1: right now.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I don't know, man, I think it's a hard one.
- 13:49Speaker 2: We have to have clarity. We have to go for clarity,
- 13:52Speaker 2: and you know, the compromises that we make have to
- 13:55Speaker 2: be about safety. You don't want situations where the banks
- 13:59Speaker 2: just control everybody's money and and just you know, recreate
- 14:03Speaker 2: two thousand and eight. You know, the banks lover loved
- 14:05Speaker 2: everything that they had going into the two thousand and
- 14:07Speaker 2: eight crisis, right and look how much human suffering that created.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Oh it was bad. It was bad. Two thousand and
- 14:12Speaker 1: eight was absolutely terrible. I don't think people really realize
- 14:16Speaker 1: how bad that was. Many people don't, and we're not
- 14:18Speaker 1: around at that time, at least in the area of business,
- 14:22Speaker 1: you know, where things were happening, or they were in
- 14:24Speaker 1: maybe in a family like what you ran into. I'm
- 14:27Speaker 1: going to be faster on these so we can get
- 14:29Speaker 1: them all in. What would Trump? Okay, would Trump sign
- 14:32Speaker 1: the Clarity Bill if it includes anything targeting as crypto schemes.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I would be shocked if he signed any law that
- 14:39Speaker 2: said I'm not allowed to get away with my you know,
- 14:42Speaker 2: multi billion dollar crypto scams.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Impossible that that would happen.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I don't think. I don't think he would. If we
- 14:48Speaker 2: set this laws that say, hey, this meme coin scam
- 14:52Speaker 2: that the president pulled is illegal and he should be
- 14:55Speaker 2: in jail for doing it, and the investors have rights.
- 14:58Speaker 2: That would be very bad for him. And one thing
- 15:00Speaker 2: that we know about President Trump is that he always
- 15:03Speaker 2: does what's best for him.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Next up, would you blame who would you blame most?
- 15:06Speaker 1: Right now? If Clarity doesn't pass? Would you blame Republican Center?
- 15:11Speaker 2: Blame people who voted against it?
- 15:14Speaker 1: Okay?
- 15:14Speaker 2: Sorry, Sorry, that's not the answer you're not looking for.
- 15:18Speaker 2: I mean, we don't know who's voting. We don't. It
- 15:20Speaker 2: hasn't been put to a vote yet, right.
- 15:22Speaker 1: So let's assume maybe it doesn't even go to a
- 15:25Speaker 1: vote passing. This is the concern right now, is it?
- 15:28Speaker 1: Maybe it never makes it to the to the floor.
- 15:30Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go no answer on that, just because
- 15:32Speaker 1: it's kind of a vague, a vague one. What would
- 15:36Speaker 1: or what should were liberty phi be held most allegedly
- 15:40Speaker 1: accountable for here, pay to play disclosure, foreign bribes, deleting
- 15:47Speaker 1: stuff and covering up what do you what.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Do you think to me? I think investor disclosure has
- 15:53Speaker 2: been breached when they're saying, oh, you know, this is
- 15:55Speaker 2: how many tokens they are, and they're not They're not
- 15:57Speaker 2: disclosing how many governance tokens they are actually control and
- 16:01Speaker 2: what the float is. That's not how investment works. That's
- 16:03Speaker 2: not how securities works. If you want to do these
- 16:06Speaker 2: kind of fundraises and run these kind of companies, you
- 16:09Speaker 2: have to follow disclosure laws, you have to follow security laws.
- 16:12Speaker 2: And the Trump administration and their their family insiders are
- 16:16Speaker 2: not above the law.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Yeah. I think we already answered this question earlier. You
- 16:20Speaker 1: said you hate to side, but you would side with
- 16:22Speaker 1: Justin Sid.
- 16:24Speaker 2: I'm shocked. I'm on Justin Sun's side. I'm not I'm
- 16:28Speaker 2: not going to say anything negative about anybody here.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Not a problem.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I think that's very easy to get behind because it's
- 16:34Speaker 2: very clear that they're just stealing money from from investors.
- 16:37Speaker 1: To think, I look at it this way. If I
- 16:39Speaker 1: had to side, I'm just siding with crypto, you know,
- 16:41Speaker 1: and Justin Hatchers to be in crypto, so I would
- 16:44Speaker 1: side with crypto in general. If we're liberty five collapses,
- 16:47Speaker 1: who would the Dems scorch more Trump or crypto?
- 16:50Speaker 2: I mean both and so many people's minds those are
- 16:54Speaker 2: the same thing, right, And we've we as you know,
- 16:57Speaker 2: developers or proponents of this technology.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Completely for something that somebody is using the tool for.
- 17:07Speaker 2: We you know, spent all this time telling people blockchain
- 17:11Speaker 2: is going to do all these great things, and it hasn't.
- 17:13Speaker 2: You know, it hasn't materially improved the average person's life.
- 17:16Speaker 2: All they've heard about it is, uh, these crypto bros
- 17:19Speaker 2: funded the Trump campaign two years ago and keep funding
- 17:23Speaker 2: all these Republicans. That's what that is attached to. Now,
- 17:26Speaker 2: you know, it's it's unfortunate it didn't have to be
- 17:28Speaker 2: that way. Technology that helps us fund renewable energy, It
- 17:32Speaker 2: can be a technology that helps us with mutual aid
- 17:36Speaker 2: can be a technology that helps us preserve you know,
- 17:38Speaker 2: private payments between doctors and patients for getting any type
- 17:43Speaker 2: of medicine or procedures that they need. You know, those
- 17:45Speaker 2: are things that I care about. This is a technology
- 17:48Speaker 2: that allows us to do those. It's it's unfortunate that
- 17:50Speaker 2: the money in crypto has gone to Republicans and that
- 17:53Speaker 2: the Trump insiders have been able to kind of scam
- 17:57Speaker 2: everybody and pull the wool over over the eyes of
- 18:00Speaker 2: so many of my colleagues. But it doesn't have to
- 18:03Speaker 2: be that way.
- 18:04Speaker 1: All right, Let's go to this next one. Who did
- 18:07Speaker 1: AI and Crypto zar David Sachs benefit the most? The lobbies,
- 18:13Speaker 1: the monopolies, the Maxi's or his own ventures?
- 18:16Speaker 2: Yeah, podcast hosts?
- 18:19Speaker 1: Who?
- 18:19Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:19Speaker 1: Okay?
- 18:20Speaker 2: Who who has really benefited in the in the long
- 18:23Speaker 2: term from these Trump policies. I haven't seen it.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Let's go to this one. Who should Trump fire next?
- 18:28Speaker 2: Heg Seth? Heg Seth should be in prison. It's ridiculous
- 18:31Speaker 2: that after adding reporters to uh, you know, his his
- 18:34Speaker 2: signal chat, that he wasn't canned immediately.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Yeah, not a single penny should be sent to Israel
- 18:42Speaker 1: or Iran war efforts.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Do you agree, Yeah, we shouldn't start illegal wars, but that's.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Not the question. Is money sent to Israel or the
- 18:51Speaker 1: Iran war efforts?
- 18:53Speaker 2: No, we should we shouldn't be. We shouldn't be sending it.
- 18:55Speaker 2: We shouldn't be funding any any illegal wars.
- 18:57Speaker 1: No money, and then y'ahho, you get no money. I
- 19:00Speaker 1: will never take back our take. And this is a
- 19:02Speaker 1: hard one. We asked John this. I will never take
- 19:06Speaker 1: bank lobby money or APAC money.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Easy question. They'll never take bank lobby money or APAC money.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Okay, easy. Who poses a bigger threat to America? Musk
- 19:16Speaker 1: or foreign dictators?
- 19:18Speaker 2: I mean these are shock The overlap on these and
- 19:21Speaker 2: the relationships can be very shocking. I'll say Musk and monopolies,
- 19:26Speaker 2: because right now America needs to focus on America affordable housing,
- 19:32Speaker 2: on the environment, and government accountability, and Elon Musk and
- 19:36Speaker 2: the monopolies in America are just working against the average
- 19:39Speaker 2: American constantly on those.
- 19:40Speaker 1: How would you fix healthcare right now? Increase ACA, Medicare
- 19:45Speaker 1: for all, privatize or some other BS plan as.
- 19:48Speaker 2: They say, Medicare for all?
- 19:50Speaker 1: Okay, Medicare for all you're on. We have guys in
- 19:53Speaker 1: the in the studio. Be happy to hear you say
- 19:55Speaker 1: that bitcoin mining in Virginia is contributing to rising energy prices.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Do you think that's happening?
- 20:01Speaker 2: Rising energy prices are because the president illegally started bombing Iran.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Probably bitcoin mining is contributing. We have some of the
- 20:11Speaker 2: most data centers anywhere in the entire world here in Virginia,
- 20:16Speaker 2: and it's unfair to ask mom and pop down the
- 20:19Speaker 2: road to compete in the same market with Amazon and Google.
- 20:23Speaker 2: You know, so data centers are raising energy prices. That's
- 20:26Speaker 2: that's the reality. I don't know how much of those
- 20:28Speaker 2: are are bitcoin mining or are actively in Virginia.
- 20:32Speaker 1: It probably should say AI and bitcoin mining AI and
- 20:36Speaker 1: based in general.
- 20:37Speaker 2: If you put it all together, absolutely, it's it's contributing
- 20:40Speaker 2: to raising rising energy prices. And the Trump regime is
- 20:44Speaker 2: making this worse by actively sabotaging renewable energy projects that
- 20:49Speaker 2: should already be live in Virginia.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Interesting. Listen, Joe, thank you so much. We're gonna bring
- 20:55Speaker 1: your website up again one more time. If you guys
- 20:58Speaker 1: want to learn more about Joe and you're in Virginia.

- 21:09Speaker 1: be able to educate some of these you know people
- 21:14Speaker 1: in Congress and we'll say what they what I think
- 21:16Speaker 1: they are.
- 21:16Speaker 2: But maybe we can spend less time educating everybody in
- 21:20Speaker 2: Congress on crypto and more time actually improving the lives
- 21:23Speaker 2: of average Americans.
- 21:24Speaker 1: But if you educate them on crypto, you might actually
- 21:26Speaker 1: improve the lives of Americans.
- 21:28Speaker 2: We might.
- 21:29Speaker 1: So there you go, Joe, thanks for coming in today.
