- 0:00Speaker 1: John Schneider talks often, the general manager for the Seahawks,
- 0:03Speaker 1: about don't draft for need, and his drafts that he
- 0:07Speaker 1: believes have been subpar have been when he has pushed
- 0:10Speaker 1: need over best player.
- 0:12Speaker 2: He will tell you that.
- 0:13Speaker 1: The Seahawks and he are at their best drafting when
- 0:16Speaker 1: he takes the best player on their draft board. When
- 0:18Speaker 1: it's time for the Seahawks to pick, not, hey, we
- 0:22Speaker 1: really could use it running back as Kenneth Walker left,
- 0:24Speaker 1: who's the best running back we have left available? And
- 0:26Speaker 1: then you end up getting some guy who might be
- 0:28Speaker 1: ranked a round or two below where you're actually picking
- 0:31Speaker 1: just because of need. And he said he has done
- 0:34Speaker 1: that in previous drafts and has failed, and that's part
- 0:36Speaker 1: of the reason the Seahawks won eleven years between Super
- 0:39Speaker 1: Bowl appearances post legs in a boom.
- 0:43Speaker 2: You can think of a couple people.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Maleigue McDow comes to mind of someone that they took
- 0:47Speaker 1: as a need pick over what they thought was the
- 0:49Speaker 1: better player. They also are really strongly considering intangibles and
- 0:54Speaker 1: personalities and culture. They want a guy that they're going
- 0:57Speaker 1: to draft to fit the culture that these guys. I
- 1:00Speaker 1: mentioned Brandon Ceci, what to me makes him a Seahawk
- 1:03Speaker 1: and a likely second round pick for Seattle if he
- 1:05Speaker 1: can if he's still available, then is his culture his makeup?
- 1:09Speaker 1: His football acuum In the fact that he knows every
- 1:11Speaker 1: one of the eleven defensive spots his positioning coach at
- 1:14Speaker 1: South Carolina says, and he can recite what eleven responsibilities
- 1:18Speaker 1: on defense on every play. That sounds like a culture,
- 1:21Speaker 1: Mike McDonald out of me, not to mention he plays
- 1:24Speaker 1: a hell of an outside corner and runs, supports and
- 1:26Speaker 1: tackles as well. I think Brandon cec is going to
- 1:28Speaker 1: be a second round pick for the Seahawks. My mock
- 1:30Speaker 1: baft the Seahawks is at the News Tribune dot com. Okay,
- 1:34Speaker 1: so what about running back? Well, I spent most of
- 1:35Speaker 1: this month, Chris thinking that Jaderian Price was going to
- 1:38Speaker 1: be a Seahawk, the second best running back most scouts
- 1:41Speaker 1: say in this draft, behind his teammate Jeremiah Love Why
- 1:46Speaker 1: Well running backs and obviously, like we said, but John
- 1:50Speaker 1: Schneider usually waits till the latter half of his drafts
- 1:54Speaker 1: to pick his running backs. Damian Martinez last year from Miami,
- 1:57Speaker 1: who didn't working out at all and is no longer
- 1:59Speaker 1: in the team. Chris Carson is the most glaring example
- 2:03Speaker 1: that a seventh round pick out of Oklahoma State who
- 2:06Speaker 1: became their starter in bellcal until he had a neck
- 2:08Speaker 1: issue to forced the amount of football that Chris Carson
- 2:12Speaker 1: is a tell. It's that is by and large not
- 2:17Speaker 1: only the Seahawks but the NFL's philosophy on running backs
- 2:19Speaker 1: right now. Draft them, use them while they're young and
- 2:22Speaker 1: not hurt, and have them relatively inexpensive instead of re
- 2:26Speaker 1: signing them like Kenneth Walker for a second contract that
- 2:28Speaker 1: costs more for a position that's the most attruded and
- 2:31Speaker 1: injured one in the sport. Now the drop off in
- 2:35Speaker 1: this the draft is weak. John Schneider tells us that
- 2:40Speaker 1: the Seahawks see it that way.
- 2:41Speaker 2: That's why I only have four picks, and.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Running back might be the weakest of the weakest draft.
- 2:46Speaker 1: The weakest position many people feel is running back, and
- 2:49Speaker 1: the two Notre Dame guys, Jeremiah Love and Generium Price
- 2:54Speaker 1: are the top two by a landslide, and then it
- 2:57Speaker 1: is a cliff. Many people think from two to three,
- 3:00Speaker 1: four five. I thought for a month that they were
- 3:03Speaker 1: probably gonna go Jendarium Price. They saw him at his
- 3:06Speaker 1: pro day in Notre Dame. They've been talking to their
- 3:09Speaker 1: the running backs coach for reportedly talking to him at
- 3:13Speaker 1: the pro day of the Notre Dame running backs coach
- 3:16Speaker 1: and also return kicks. Was one of the best kickoff
- 3:18Speaker 1: returners in college football, return one for a touchdown at
- 3:20Speaker 1: USC and average over six yards of carrie in two seasons.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Wow as the backup to Jeremiah Love. But then I
- 3:29Speaker 1: started thinking about Chris and they. I see them being
- 3:33Speaker 1: pretty content with perhaps going with a pope pirie of
- 3:36Speaker 1: running backs, a committee perhaps headlined by Emmanuel Wilson, who
- 3:40Speaker 1: they signed to a one year deal, a five hundred
- 3:43Speaker 1: yard back, a part time back with Green Bay who's
- 3:45Speaker 1: still in his twenties. Kenny McIntosh is coming back. They
- 3:50Speaker 1: don't know when he'll be on the field. It won't
- 3:51Speaker 1: be in the spring, Mike McDonald said. But he had
- 3:53Speaker 1: the knee injury that cost the entire season last year.
- 3:56Speaker 1: That knee injury happened in July, so it's not a
- 3:58Speaker 1: charbonnet situation.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Sharbonay. Remember the acl tair happened in January.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Eight to twelve month typical recovery means he won't be
- 4:06Speaker 1: back till September at the year mid September at the earliest,
- 4:09Speaker 1: after the season has already begun. Sharbon A suddenly is
- 4:12Speaker 1: in the last year of his contract. They signed Emmanuel
- 4:15Speaker 1: Wilson from Green Bay. He's got a one year deal.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Kenny McIntosh is going into the last year his rookie
- 4:20Speaker 1: contract and he's yet to fulfill any promise because of
- 4:23Speaker 1: all the injuries he's had. George Hallani is a restricted
- 4:27Speaker 1: free agent. They brought back a one year contract Vellas
- 4:31Speaker 1: Jones Junior Cam Akers, a former Rams number one pick.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Who are those guys?
- 4:35Speaker 1: Well, they happen to be active for the Super Bowl
- 4:37Speaker 1: in February off the practice squad. They also are coming
- 4:40Speaker 1: back on one year deals Chris Every one of the
- 4:43Speaker 1: running backs the Seahawks have are not signed past twenty
- 4:46Speaker 1: twenty six, including Zach Sharbone, who had twelve touchdowns last year,
- 4:50Speaker 1: the most since Marshaan Lynch in twenty fourteen. Again, I
- 4:53Speaker 1: go back to what I said last segment, two segments ago.
- 4:56Speaker 3: The draft is not for this year. The draft is
- 4:59Speaker 3: for two, three, four years down the road. And what
- 5:01Speaker 3: you see your salary cap in your position and your
- 5:03Speaker 3: roster to be and when they decide whether to take
- 5:06Speaker 3: a running back at the top of this year's draft,
- 5:09Speaker 3: they want to know that that running back is who
- 5:11Speaker 3: they think will be on the roster and perhaps they're
- 5:13Speaker 3: lead back in four years. If you're gonna take him
- 5:14Speaker 3: with your number one pick, be it thirty two in
- 5:17Speaker 3: round one or trading back in the round two, he
- 5:19Speaker 3: dan well better be on the team in three or
- 5:21Speaker 3: four years. And I pulled Damien Martinez get cut as
- 5:24Speaker 3: a rookie. Now Martinsen was a seventh round pick. But
- 5:27Speaker 3: you're not gonna go to a running back in a
- 5:28Speaker 3: week class if you don't think he can be your
- 5:30Speaker 3: starter in two, three, four years from now. And that's
- 5:34Speaker 3: why I don't think they're gonna take a running back first.
- 5:36Speaker 3: I've gotten off of that. I don't think they're gonna
- 5:38Speaker 3: take Price first. I think they're gonna take an edge
- 5:40Speaker 3: rusher or a cornerback. I could see him taking Brandon
- 5:43Speaker 3: CC instead of Malachi Lawrence with that first pick at
- 5:46Speaker 3: thirty nine after trading down for the Browns. I mock
- 5:49Speaker 3: drafts at the News Tribune dot com.
- 5:51Speaker 1: What say you four, nine, four or five one? It's coming
- 5:54Speaker 1: out Texas. You want to come hell or high Water.
- 5:56Speaker 1: You want a running back first, I've got him taking
- 5:59Speaker 1: a running back, but not to round four. I think
- 6:01Speaker 1: the league views this year's running back class so weekly
- 6:05Speaker 1: that Mike Washington, Junior, the two hundred and twenty three
- 6:08Speaker 1: pound running back from Arkansas, will still be available to
- 6:11Speaker 1: the Seahawks in the fourth round as maybe the third
- 6:13Speaker 1: back picked in this draft. Washington's big concern is he
- 6:17Speaker 1: had ten fumbles in three for three different teams in
- 6:21Speaker 1: college football, Buffalo, New Mexico State and Arkansas's one year
- 6:24Speaker 1: at Arkansas, but he in turn, he pressed everybody to
- 6:28Speaker 1: combine by running at two hundred and twenty three pounds.
- 6:30Speaker 1: He ran a four to three three forty, which was
- 6:32Speaker 1: the fastest forty time for anyone, any back over two
- 6:35Speaker 1: hundred and twenty pounds. He may be gone by round four.
- 6:39Speaker 1: The Seahawks may be fine with that. My point is
- 6:41Speaker 1: I don't think they're reaching for one. I know they're not,
- 6:44Speaker 1: and I don't. I could definitely see them not even
- 6:46Speaker 1: picking one because this draft is so weak. And let's
- 6:49Speaker 1: run with Emmanuel Wilson and hope Kenny McIntosh comes back,
- 6:51Speaker 1: and let's see when when Sharbonne gets back and let's
- 6:56Speaker 1: run with Cam Akers, who used to be a lead
- 6:58Speaker 1: back in this league. Chris, you think it has to
- 7:01Speaker 1: be running back or bust or what do you see
- 7:03Speaker 1: them doing?
- 7:04Speaker 2: I don't. I trust what they're doing their vision.
- 7:06Speaker 4: I was not big on rotating Kenneth Walker and Zach
- 7:10Speaker 4: Sharbonnay last season, and it worked out very well. It
- 7:15Speaker 4: was allowed Kenneth Walker to be healthy for the Super Bowl.
- 7:18Speaker 4: He played every single game last season, and he was
- 7:21Speaker 4: able to go get a contract elsewhere. Now would have
- 7:23Speaker 4: been nice of the sales are to retain him, but
- 7:26Speaker 4: the price didn't match. They weren't willing to take that risk.
- 7:28Speaker 4: So for me looking at it, I think it's fair
- 7:31Speaker 4: to say, you know what, Kenny McIntosh in that preseason
- 7:34Speaker 4: last year, he showed that he could be a backup
- 7:37Speaker 4: running back, maybe even a starter if need be. So
- 7:40Speaker 4: I think the Seals of that mindset. They're not going
- 7:42Speaker 4: to go out and reach. They are confident with the
- 7:44Speaker 4: offensive line improved. If they can just get a guy
- 7:48Speaker 4: that can hold him to the football, get a couple
- 7:50Speaker 4: of yards of carry, the offense will be just fine.
- 7:53Speaker 4: They don't need a Kenneth Walker. It'd be nice to
- 7:55Speaker 4: have that home run ability, but do they really need it?
- 8:00Speaker 4: Sinners taking the next step. So there's a lot of
- 8:03Speaker 4: things that a defense is going to key in on
- 8:05Speaker 4: that might not have to do with the running back.
- 8:07Speaker 4: It is nice to have someone that on the first
- 8:09Speaker 4: carry they can just take it to the house, and
- 8:10Speaker 4: that's what Washington Junior brings. But if he's not there,
- 8:14Speaker 4: then you move ahead with what you have, whether it's
- 8:16Speaker 4: Zach Charbaday returning at some point in the regular season,
- 8:19Speaker 4: Kenny McIntosh is one hundred percent healthy, he's good to go.
- 8:23Speaker 4: And then you got you listed the other running backs
- 8:25Speaker 4: on the roster that might get opportunities, whether.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Any of those.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Georgecelani impressed them in the NFC title game in Super
- 8:33Speaker 1: Bowl and people were.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Like, why is he getting carries?
- 8:35Speaker 4: Well, he's not doing bad, he's doing it Super Bowl,
- 8:37Speaker 4: he made plays and if you want to get on
- 8:40Speaker 4: our roster and get an extension, get paid more, they
- 8:44Speaker 4: all have an opportunity to do that this year.
- 8:45Speaker 2: So maybe this is the other thinging.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Yeah, one of these guys could potentially pop, But right
- 8:50Speaker 4: now we're in April. We'll see what happens when we
- 8:52Speaker 4: get to OTA's when we get to mini camp and
- 8:55Speaker 4: all these things where you get to see these players
- 8:57Speaker 4: and see how they are with this new offensive coordinator
- 9:00Speaker 4: that came in, with everything going on with the old line,
- 9:03Speaker 4: with the running bay situation. So I'm of the mindset
- 9:06Speaker 4: that I think the Seahawks are not going to press
- 9:09Speaker 4: panic on it.
- 9:10Speaker 2: If at sixty what is it sixty four right now?
- 9:14Speaker 4: If Mike Washington junior is a Mike Washington junior is available,
- 9:19Speaker 4: why wouldn't the Seahawks take him? If he's available, to
- 9:21Speaker 4: your point, a guy with that upside, he.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Might not be available.
- 9:25Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 9:26Speaker 4: Too many teams are gonna be like, Yay fumbled a lot.
- 9:28Speaker 4: We can't fix that, we can't help him be better
- 9:31Speaker 4: at covering, taking care of the football.
- 9:32Speaker 2: We're going to pass on that and let another team
- 9:34Speaker 2: get it. But how does the league value running backs?
- 9:36Speaker 1: They are so devalued anymore that maybe teams won't spend
- 9:40Speaker 1: a second round pick on one.
- 9:41Speaker 6: Now.
- 9:41Speaker 1: The Seahawks have spent a second round pick on running
- 9:44Speaker 1: backs three of the two.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Of the last four years. Right they back to back years.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Kenneth Walker in the second round of Michigan State the
- 9:52Speaker 1: very next year, Zach Charbonnay in the second round twenty
- 9:54Speaker 1: twenty three out of UCLA. But now this is the
- 9:58Speaker 1: first of all their offensive line is better than it
- 10:00Speaker 1: was then. Oh yeah, they have a direction outside zone clarity,
- 10:03Speaker 1: and they're coaching John Benton has come back on the staff.
- 10:06Speaker 2: That is a big factor here.
- 10:08Speaker 1: And if you think your offensive line has become strong
- 10:10Speaker 1: enough to be carrying your offense, then you can go
- 10:13Speaker 1: with the I don't know if they's but we'll find out,
- 10:15Speaker 1: right because I think they took the next step as
- 10:18Speaker 1: to prove that they can be decent to better to good.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I think they're in that good range.
- 10:23Speaker 4: If they're going to be the catalyst, then my goodness,
- 10:25Speaker 4: you have an elite defense, a good offensive line that
- 10:28Speaker 4: Greg Bell and I can run behind. This team is
- 10:31Speaker 4: a favorite to win this award. That's the case.
- 10:33Speaker 2: That's not a car you could run behind. I can't, Greg,
- 10:35Speaker 2: you could run behind. I never had any use anyone.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Oh I thought you had Achilles with flag football.
- 10:40Speaker 4: No, no, just you know, nothing serious. But I believe in you,
- 10:43Speaker 4: Greg fall fall the light.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I appreciate that.
- 10:46Speaker 1: You're welcome a right, here's a name for you Husky
- 10:49Speaker 1: fans Jonah Coleman.
- 10:51Speaker 2: But see, Greg, how many power back do you want
- 10:53Speaker 2: on your roster?
- 10:54Speaker 1: I'll take a Jonah Coleman on my roster. Would I wouldn't.
- 10:58Speaker 1: I wouldn't take my second round pick on.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I know, but you'd be okay with Zach Charbonay. And well,
- 11:03Speaker 2: I don't know when Sharbony is coming back. Let's assume
- 11:06Speaker 2: he's back.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Mike Washington Junior from Arkansas, you could argue is a
- 11:09Speaker 1: power back. He's two hundred twenty three pounds.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Now, he also had there Kenneth Walker like gone, yeah,
- 11:14Speaker 4: and that's what Zonah doesn't have.
- 11:17Speaker 2: And that's why I'm like, do you really want two
- 11:18Speaker 2: of those guys?
- 11:19Speaker 1: This is spoken by a Seattle native and oh Day graduate,
- 11:22Speaker 1: but also a Washington State Cougar.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Just to put it in a hot day, you're making
- 11:25Speaker 2: it real even a.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Context I'm making I just don't know. I'm just also
- 11:29Speaker 1: showing that I know you we go way back, Chris.
- 11:32Speaker 1: If you're just listening to show going, who's this voice?
- 11:34Speaker 1: It's Christopher Kidd. He's back.
- 11:36Speaker 2: He is back.
- 11:37Speaker 4: I did there is a good camp. They call him
- 11:39Speaker 4: the thick Bucky Irving. What do you think of that? Comparison. Yes,
- 11:44Speaker 4: a thick Bucky Irving and this is from the Ringer
- 11:47Speaker 4: the NFL Draft Guide.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Well that would work. What would were you wrong with
- 11:51Speaker 2: that in the Seahawks backfield. Probably nothing.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I actually think Bucky Irving is a very good player
- 11:56Speaker 1: for Tampa Bay and when he's hurt, their offense goes nowhere.
- 12:00Speaker 1: I saw a status I think it was Warren Sharp
- 12:02Speaker 1: Warren Shop Analytics and Football. He was talking about Jonah
- 12:06Speaker 1: Coleman being number one in the draft class in yards
- 12:09Speaker 1: after contact, first down, percentage of first down, all these
- 12:14Speaker 1: statistics that say bonafid number one running back. Now, he
- 12:20Speaker 1: doesn't have the gigantic size, and to Chris's point, he's
- 12:23Speaker 1: not seen as a decisive as a runner and more
- 12:26Speaker 1: of a power back. He could be a sixth round
- 12:28Speaker 1: pick option. I mentioned in Nez Cooper, the right guard
- 12:31Speaker 1: for Miami, is who I projected at news tribute dot
- 12:33Speaker 1: Com for the Seahawks to pick in the sixth round
- 12:35Speaker 1: with their final pick.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I guess I'm just spoiled with the thunder and lightning.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Right last season you had thunder with Zach Charbonnet and
- 12:41Speaker 4: you're lightning with K nine, and it was it was
- 12:43Speaker 4: now I'm like, oh, do it again, right as opposed
- 12:45Speaker 4: to just having two thunders?
- 12:47Speaker 2: Was Kenny McIntosh your thunder and lightning?
- 12:48Speaker 3: Well?
- 12:49Speaker 2: I I don't know.
- 12:50Speaker 4: I mean sure no one's seen him, right, yeah, exactly,
- 12:53Speaker 4: Like I'm just projecting that, Yeah, it'll be fine.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I don't know that you can plan on Zach Sharbone.
- 12:58Speaker 2: It's Is it a given that eight to twelve.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Months he's gonna come back and be the twelve touchdown
- 13:02Speaker 1: guy he was this pastation?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Probably not.
- 13:04Speaker 4: They're probably gonna ease him into it and not just
- 13:06Speaker 4: be like, hey man, the same workload you had last year,
- 13:09Speaker 4: it's third and shortened the goal.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 13:11Speaker 1: He's gonna be on a pup list to be in
- 13:13Speaker 1: training camp, and he's gonna be on a three week
- 13:15Speaker 1: run up and practice when they finally do activate him,
- 13:17Speaker 1: which will take you into at least October at the
- 13:19Speaker 1: best case, and his contract ends after this year, what's
- 13:23Speaker 1: their choice on him?
- 13:25Speaker 2: I can't at this point, why would you resign him?
- 13:28Speaker 2: Just don't Chase Rolls, Seahawks, Just do not Chase Rolls. Chase.
- 13:34Speaker 4: If you can find a complete back in the draft, great,
- 13:36Speaker 4: If not, you have plenty of running backs on your
- 13:40Speaker 4: roster and maybe one of them does pop. Is it
- 13:43Speaker 4: a big risk to say that none of them do?
- 13:46Speaker 4: That could be like, well that was stupid. You could
- 13:48Speaker 4: have easily did a B and C, but you didn't.
- 13:50Speaker 1: And again, none of the Seahawks running backs are signed
- 13:53Speaker 1: beyond twenty twenty six. Yeah, that's really odd, and that
- 13:57Speaker 1: to me means they're going to draft one.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Yeah, that's Chip training him.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Is a former Ohio State Buckeye Arizona State running back.
- 14:06Speaker 1: He was at Kentucky then he ended up at Toledo.
- 14:08Speaker 1: He rushed for one thousand yards and twelve touchdowns for
- 14:10Speaker 1: Toledo last year. My buddy Brady Henderson said the Seahawks
- 14:14Speaker 1: had a top thirty prospect visit with Chip training them
- 14:17Speaker 1: out of Toledo at the running back position, So they
- 14:20Speaker 1: are definitely. They've already met with Mike Washington junior at
- 14:23Speaker 1: Arkansas on a top thirty visit. Now that's those aren't IIOWA.
- 14:26Speaker 1: If he visited, Seahawks are gonna draft him. But last year,
- 14:30Speaker 1: three guys they drafted that had been top thirty vits
- 14:34Speaker 1: Nick even worry, Brice Cable Doo and Tory Orton. Tory
- 14:39Speaker 1: Horton was coming to make sure that they were checking
- 14:41Speaker 1: his medicals and make sure that his leg injury a season,
- 14:44Speaker 1: any leg injury from Colorado State was okay, And I'm
- 14:46Speaker 1: sure enough. He lasted only into the first week in November,
- 14:49Speaker 1: and he injured his shin. By the way, that is
- 14:52Speaker 1: the most mysterious, extensive shin injury in the history of shin's.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Yeah, he got really Jackie. We won't talk about what happened.
- 15:00Speaker 2: We can only assume.
- 15:01Speaker 1: We keep pressing them too, mcdonaldly and everybody else in
- 15:03Speaker 1: the ability I would you can only assume, and this
- 15:06Speaker 1: is a supposition I shouldn't probably make without knowledge that
- 15:09Speaker 1: it had to be a fracture of some kind. I mean,
- 15:11Speaker 1: how could you be out from November until training camp
- 15:13Speaker 1: to following year, they said, he McDonald just said this
- 15:16Speaker 1: couple weeks ago that he is not going to be
- 15:17Speaker 1: on the field for any of the OTA's or mini
- 15:19Speaker 1: camps this spring.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Very unfortunate because they brought him in and he looked phenomenal.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Right, you thought, oh my.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Goodness, Rashid Shihed JSN and the young Tory Horton, Cooper Cup,
- 15:30Speaker 4: we love you too.
- 15:31Speaker 1: But Mike, this is like, wow, And that's what they
- 15:34Speaker 1: think they're gonna get if Tory Horton comes back in
- 15:36Speaker 1: time for training camp. And when they re signed Rashid
- 15:38Speaker 1: Chi Heat, it wasn't well we have Toy Horton, why
- 15:40Speaker 1: were you signing?
- 15:42Speaker 2: They want them both.
- 15:43Speaker 1: They want both of them to be stretching defenses and
- 15:45Speaker 1: then JSN work underneath them.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Let's see, we will see.
- 15:50Speaker 1: And and Tory Horton is another one just like Kenny McIntosh.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Those are two big pieces to their plans and the offense.
- 15:57Speaker 1: These posts Kenneth Walker moves and when he bring back.
- 16:00Speaker 1: They didn't bring back Rashiki Heat for seventeen million just
- 16:02Speaker 1: to be a wide receiver. Obviously, he's a Pro Bowl
- 16:05Speaker 1: game breaking kick returner. That was probably the MVP of
- 16:07Speaker 1: the second half of the season for his kick returns.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Yeah, John Steiler was like a genius with that trade. Yeah, goodness,
- 16:12Speaker 4: he came in and won two games for you.
- 16:14Speaker 1: They don't win that ram second game in the overtime,
- 16:17Speaker 1: if he doesn't return that touchdown with a left they're
- 16:20Speaker 1: done sixteen points until he did that. Yeah, And if
- 16:22Speaker 1: they don't win that game, Chris, they don't get the
- 16:24Speaker 1: first round. They don't get the first seam, they don't
- 16:27Speaker 1: get to buy, they don't have home playoff games.
- 16:29Speaker 2: A completely different dicussion. Playing the NFC title game in Inglewood.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Yeah they could win, but man, it'd be a lot
- 16:35Speaker 2: it'd be a lot different. That was rashiki last year
- 16:38Speaker 2: playoff MVP.
- 16:39Speaker 4: I know they get the MVP in the Super Bowl too,
- 16:41Speaker 4: K nine, but if they had a quote unquote playoff yeah, Like,
- 16:45Speaker 4: how could you not say Rashichi.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I would pay him seventeen million a year just for
- 16:49Speaker 1: that game against the Rams.
- 16:50Speaker 4: It's funny you mention that after the game. I'm thinking,
- 16:53Speaker 4: how does this guy not have an extension on letter
- 16:57Speaker 4: on the door on his locker, Like, hey, Bud, we
- 16:59Speaker 4: want to see if you want the extra sixteen mil
- 17:01Speaker 4: for many years because his.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Agent is smart and so keep running there, keep front
- 17:04Speaker 1: of those kicks back into the playoffs with the wole league
- 17:07Speaker 1: watching the overpay.
- 17:09Speaker 4: You know a little, but he's a need that you have.
- 17:13Speaker 4: You gotta have him. He chanced good season. He absolutely
- 17:16Speaker 4: did up next your chance to be a part of
- 17:18Speaker 4: the show.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Also, I guess you can comment on our little YouTube
- 17:21Speaker 1: thing here right now. You can put in a little

- 18:01Speaker 2: this a comeback?
- 18:02Speaker 5: No?
- 18:02Speaker 2: This, I've been running it.
- 18:03Speaker 4: It's it was just too easy to just run it
- 18:07Speaker 4: instead of trying to find something new.
- 18:09Speaker 2: This is the ultimate text music.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Until I am no longer here, someone else can do
- 18:14Speaker 4: their own text.
- 18:15Speaker 2: This is bring back some mems right here. This is great. Yes,
- 18:18Speaker 2: this is the text music.
- 18:19Speaker 4: This is the camodage they put it because remember they
- 18:22Speaker 4: voted this. They said, Chris, get bitter, this porn music,
- 18:24Speaker 4: but it actually jailed. For whatever reason, they stopped texting
- 18:28Speaker 4: in Chris, this music is porn. Can you stop playing it?
- 18:30Speaker 4: And they just said, you know what, you could have it,
- 18:32Speaker 4: and then we ran with it, said yeah exactly. We
- 18:34Speaker 4: just said, screwed you, guys. We're sticking with the porn music.
- 18:38Speaker 4: And you know what you did. You joined in harmony
- 18:41Speaker 4: and said, you know what, it's not that bad.
- 18:44Speaker 2: So thanks guys. My wife gets a kick out of it.
- 18:47Speaker 2: This is like Boogie Nights on the radio.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Like I used to say, all right, four to coma
- 18:52Speaker 1: to Dodge text line your chance to be part of
- 18:53Speaker 1: the show.
- 18:53Speaker 2: We asked, what do you want to see KX do
- 18:55Speaker 2: top of the draft? By the way, thank you.
- 18:57Speaker 1: There are a lot of messages on here welcoming me Chris,
- 19:00Speaker 1: Chris and me, I should say back to the show together.
- 19:04Speaker 1: One of them said, you sound happy, Chris.
- 19:06Speaker 4: I thought I always sounded happy, But I guess I
- 19:09Speaker 4: guess I need to work on my poker faces.
- 19:11Speaker 2: That's the case, my goodness.
- 19:12Speaker 1: You could also type in your questions or comments on
- 19:15Speaker 1: the on the YouTube nine three three KGr YouTube page.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Which is new to me. Hello, YouTube world, What you
- 19:21Speaker 2: got Chris? All right, let's get things rolling.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Hey might be a little sore, Greg, but give us
- 19:30Speaker 4: your take on navy crushing armor come.
- 19:33Speaker 2: On, you're gonna lead.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I come back on Earth from a year away and
- 19:36Speaker 1: you hit me with Navy beating Army.
- 19:38Speaker 2: That's your first thing, you know.
- 19:39Speaker 4: The text line said, hey, come on, I know you.
- 19:42Speaker 4: It's been a while, but I just got to know.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Greg not trying to bring up old things, but can
- 19:46Speaker 4: you help me out? You want to talk about it?
- 19:48Speaker 4: And it sounds like he doesn't want too lazy.
- 19:50Speaker 1: It was a ten and one Army team that lost
- 19:51Speaker 1: to a very middling team. Now Navy was good last
- 19:54Speaker 1: year and Army was okay. But no, I don't want
- 19:58Speaker 1: to talk about them.
- 19:59Speaker 2: I was.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I was there, Jessein McIntyre were they. We're gonna be
- 20:02Speaker 1: there again this December, second week of December.
- 20:05Speaker 2: It's in New York. It's gonna be the Meadowlands and.
- 20:08Speaker 1: But yeah, next sorry, if you ask John Schneider about
- 20:14Speaker 1: Creed Humphrey, what do you think, man, A one word
- 20:17Speaker 1: reaction would be from him. I thought we're gonna get
- 20:19Speaker 1: through the whole show without bringing up Creed Humphrey a
- 20:21Speaker 1: draft show.
- 20:22Speaker 4: No, when we started talking about the old line and
- 20:24Speaker 4: you mentioned Hunger and Jimmy Graham, it was eventually somebody
- 20:29Speaker 4: was gonna take a bite on the bait.
- 20:32Speaker 1: He does not like being asked about. That was the
- 20:35Speaker 1: d Eskridge draft, the escorte remember him. That's a blast
- 20:40Speaker 1: in the path. He was our top pick that year.
- 20:42Speaker 1: That was the COVID draft, was it not? That was
- 20:43Speaker 1: the only three picks.
- 20:45Speaker 5: Yes, yes, Creed.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Humphrey was not one of them. M But I guess
- 20:49Speaker 1: Jonson Dell wouldn't be your starting center. They drafted Creed Humphrey,
- 20:52Speaker 1: although your your center would still cost twenty million dollars
- 20:54Speaker 1: a year.
- 20:57Speaker 4: But oh you got one now, great, go ahead, all right, Greg,
- 21:01Speaker 4: I'm curious if you had to put any money down
- 21:04Speaker 4: on the NBA playoffs to win the championship, that is,
- 21:07Speaker 4: would you just go San Antonio?
- 21:08Speaker 2: And this's from the two five to three? And well, shit,
- 21:12Speaker 2: that's my partner, Chris Kid more than me. But oh,
- 21:15Speaker 2: you know who they guys? You don't know? Yeah, I don't. Yeah.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Are the Lakers really for real? Is that just a charade? Well,
- 21:24Speaker 2: Kevin Durant didn't even play. Okay, his knee hurts, my knee.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Guys have a little contusion.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Wait, they do load management for eight months for the
- 21:32Speaker 1: playoffs and then when the playoffs start, it's my knee hurts.
- 21:35Speaker 4: It was really fascinating because personally I drafted Kevin Durant
- 21:38Speaker 4: for our Green Jacket draft that we do every year
- 21:42Speaker 4: for the NBA playoffs. So I got Katie thinking he was,
- 21:45Speaker 4: you know, got to play with game one. I didn't
- 21:47Speaker 4: even hear about it until he's warming up and they're like, oh, yeah,
- 21:50Speaker 4: by the way, Katie's not going to play tonight in
- 21:52Speaker 4: game one because there's a knee contusion.
- 21:54Speaker 2: I was like, oh cool.
- 21:55Speaker 4: So I start off playoffs with a zero from KD
- 21:58Speaker 4: Thumbs up, guys.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Load management for the player. Answer your question.
- 22:01Speaker 4: The Lakers are in an interesting position because they don't
- 22:04Speaker 4: have Luca. Then when I have Austin Reeves for the
- 22:06Speaker 4: first round, and now you're looking at a forty one
- 22:08Speaker 4: year old to just be great again, which he probably
- 22:12Speaker 4: couldn't do. But that's just is Brownie James on the
- 22:15Speaker 4: roster for the playoffs. He's still playing, he played, he's
- 22:18Speaker 4: he's been earning minutes, so you know, to share a
- 22:22Speaker 4: court with your son in the playoff game is probably
- 22:23Speaker 4: pretty cool for him.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Why not the Spurs, especially because they broke out the
- 22:27Speaker 1: old colors of nineties colors.
- 22:29Speaker 2: That was funking cool. I'm not gonna lie. I enjoyed that.
- 22:32Speaker 2: That was when they used to play in the Alamodome.
- 22:34Speaker 2: You know they used to play in the.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Football That's right. Yeah, they played when I was a kid.
- 22:38Speaker 1: They played in Hemispherre Arena. George Gervin. You ever heard
- 22:41Speaker 1: George Geren the iceman? Hey, Caleb Williams social say thank you?
- 22:45Speaker 2: Yes, thank you is the iceman? No, Caleb Williams, George
- 22:49Speaker 2: good football? There you go, there you go. They played
- 22:53Speaker 2: in Hemisphere Arena downtown.
- 22:54Speaker 1: That was in the Fairgrounds, and then they played the Alamodome,
- 22:57Speaker 1: a football stadium, which, by the way, is one of
- 22:59Speaker 1: the best foot all stadiums I've ever been in the cover.
- 23:01Speaker 1: It's beautiful sight lines. It's where the Huskies and Keith
- 23:05Speaker 1: Price had a shootout with r G three and Baylor
- 23:07Speaker 1: and I was there for that. Yeah, okay, let's say Spurs.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I know anybody in the East worth I wish the
- 23:14Speaker 1: Knicks were good.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Well, this is the year the Knicks. They they were
- 23:18Speaker 2: good last year, yeah they were. They got beat by
- 23:20Speaker 2: the Pacers. How can the Pacers? I mean they finished
- 23:24Speaker 2: then they finished last in the League.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Well, when you lose Miles Turner, a guy that rebounds
- 23:30Speaker 4: the Fins, and your best player tries to gut it
- 23:35Speaker 4: out into Game seven and blows the achilles, you can
- 23:39Speaker 4: just kiss your season.
- 23:40Speaker 2: But really, do they go that bad?
- 23:42Speaker 4: They also traded one of their guards, so they they
- 23:45Speaker 4: had they had to do something and they were tanked. Yeah,
- 23:48Speaker 4: so that's just the risk of Yeah, I'm gonna go
- 23:51Speaker 4: that moved for the Knicks.
- 23:52Speaker 1: When I was back at West Point, I used to
- 23:53Speaker 1: go to Knicks games and followed the Knicks. And this
- 23:55Speaker 1: was back in Charles Oakley, back when violence was you know,
- 24:00Speaker 1: I was part of the fall. I mean it was yeah,
- 24:02Speaker 1: plastic face. That was the Knicks that I like when
- 24:06Speaker 1: I was in college. Okay, Jacartia Wright two five three.
- 24:13Speaker 1: I think Jacartia Wright might be a sleeper in the
- 24:15Speaker 1: running back room.
- 24:16Speaker 2: That's interesting.
- 24:16Speaker 1: He's been a summer training camp star and then has
- 24:20Speaker 1: been mostly a practice squad player, but they did resign him.
- 24:22Speaker 1: He's on the ninety man roster. He's also just signed
- 24:24Speaker 1: for this year. Reminds me of a lot of Arian Foster.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I've heard that name in a while. That's a Houston
- 24:30Speaker 1: Texans River man, he was phenomenal Tennessee that I would
- 24:35Speaker 1: neglected to mention Jacari Wright is in the stable of
- 24:38Speaker 1: running backs and perhaps on the committee.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Good pool there from two five three. Thank you.
- 24:43Speaker 4: This is a fun one. And Greg's probably gonna laugh
- 24:46Speaker 4: and be like, no, I haven't. But have you seen
- 24:48Speaker 4: Gladiator yet?
- 24:49Speaker 8: That's from Jason. I'm disappointing you, Greg christ All. You
- 24:55Speaker 8: could probably see it now fourteen months. What you been
- 24:57Speaker 8: doing man, that you let the beard grow out every
- 25:00Speaker 8: but you haven't spent two.
- 25:01Speaker 2: M the show?
- 25:02Speaker 1: But yeah, I haven't spent two hours. Is that a
- 25:06Speaker 1: Christmas movie? Someone said no, that would be die hard? Okay,
- 25:10Speaker 1: that's the debate is Diehard Christmas and the debate.
- 25:12Speaker 4: It's kind of a Christmas movie And if you're wrong,
- 25:14Speaker 4: if you disagree, people hate you for it.
- 25:17Speaker 2: So we'll just leave it at that.
- 25:19Speaker 4: You know, Chuck Powell can break it all down for you,
- 25:21Speaker 4: because he's brought it up a few times as well.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Okay, it's definitely a Christmas movie, not a debate.
- 25:26Speaker 4: Next, all right, Greg, I agree with you that your
- 25:31Speaker 4: take that the Seahawks should use players they know they're
- 25:35Speaker 4: going to resign and trade them for more picks.
- 25:37Speaker 2: At worst, they become what death players.
- 25:39Speaker 5: Correct.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, because there's four year contracts, you're not
- 25:43Speaker 1: going to cut them by well not always.
- 25:45Speaker 2: They cut David Martinez. Here we go.
- 25:50Speaker 4: I'm sure Greg is only back for the hourly keyword
- 25:53Speaker 4: dominating factor fiction.
- 25:55Speaker 2: It's good to hear your back, Greg. Appreciate that Bill's
- 25:57Speaker 2: was the word this hour.
- 25:58Speaker 5: By the way.
- 25:59Speaker 4: Baya, Oh hey, hey from the three six, So Brownie
- 26:03Speaker 4: is earning minute. That's four minutes of action. All right,
- 26:06Speaker 4: that's earned. JJ didn't go you know what, Bud get
- 26:10Speaker 4: in there. He earned those four minutes.
- 26:12Speaker 2: What see do they fourth? Third?
- 26:13Speaker 4: They are the fourth playing the fifth against the Houston Rockets,
- 26:16Speaker 4: So yeah, they they were looking good.
- 26:19Speaker 2: There was a tier. It was ok see Denver Nuggets
- 26:23Speaker 2: and who am i? Oh? And the Spurs?
- 26:24Speaker 1: What do you think is shake Gilgess Alexander by the way, players,
- 26:28Speaker 1: But why does he flop all over the place.
- 26:30Speaker 4: Like because changed and nowadays it's all about can you
- 26:34Speaker 4: sell this to your ref to get to the foul line,
- 26:37Speaker 4: to get an opportunity to score and dominate and.
- 26:40Speaker 2: To drive up your scoring average. No, just to beat teams.
- 26:43Speaker 4: He could care less about scoring he wants winn their championship,
- 26:45Speaker 4: and one way to do that get to the foul
- 26:47Speaker 4: line and make free throws because you know he shoots
- 26:49Speaker 4: ninety so and.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Because of the MVP he gets all the calls. Right.
- 26:53Speaker 4: Well, he's he's phenomenal. I just you put your hand
- 26:55Speaker 4: anywhere in there. He's good at just going.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Up as a basketball. Do you like watching that? I
- 27:00Speaker 2: like watching him create separation.
- 27:02Speaker 1: He looks like an Italian soccer player on the floor.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Hem just falling all over the place. Though, Well, he
- 27:07Speaker 1: is smooth. If there was a simulation in the NBA,
- 27:10Speaker 1: he would lead the league in it.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he's a flopper for sure. But why is
- 27:14Speaker 2: that respected or lauded or the same way Joel Embiid
- 27:17Speaker 2: did it?
- 27:18Speaker 4: A seven foot two dude that spent a majority of
- 27:21Speaker 4: his career at the foul line and earned MVP votes
- 27:24Speaker 4: and dominate other bigs. SGA's just doing at the guard position.
- 27:29Speaker 4: You just don't see guys being able to dribble like
- 27:31Speaker 4: that and get those calls.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Usually the rest just ignore it. But he gets fouled.
- 27:36Speaker 2: It's not like now.
- 27:37Speaker 4: I will admit sometimes he does flail, but a lot
- 27:40Speaker 4: of the times He's really smart at getting the ball
- 27:42Speaker 4: to where he wants. You reach his defender, and now
- 27:45Speaker 4: he's at the line and he gets two buckets and
- 27:48Speaker 4: there's not much you can do because he is so
- 27:50Speaker 4: shipped and he has a good handle, and you know
- 27:52Speaker 4: what else he can do. He can shoot the MIDI
- 27:54Speaker 4: he can shoot the three. So now you're like, well,
- 27:56Speaker 4: how do I stop this guy? You put your hands up,
- 27:58Speaker 4: doesn't matter, he bumps into your chest. He's just really
- 28:01Speaker 4: smart and he plays the game the right way and
- 28:03Speaker 4: he gets his teammates involved, which is why I'm afraid
- 28:05Speaker 4: that they're gonna win another championship.
- 28:07Speaker 1: So I was just gonna say, you're a Seattle guy
- 28:09Speaker 1: who's it's going on about Oklahoma City.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Good, I think they're gonna win it.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Huh, Spurs are the only one, Spurs the only hope
- 28:16Speaker 4: or Denver if Denver can, if Yogics can just be
- 28:20Speaker 4: what he's what he is, and Jamal Murray can play
- 28:22Speaker 4: some better defense, like yeah, but they look like they're
- 28:25Speaker 4: just unstoppable.
- 28:26Speaker 5: Man.
- 28:27Speaker 2: It sucks to say that because this could be Seattle.
- 28:29Speaker 1: But hopefully we'll get a vote in July about the
- 28:32Speaker 1: Sonics coming back, And I can take off some of
- 28:34Speaker 1: the June finals. It sounds like Oklahoma City's on their
- 28:37Speaker 1: way to it. We'll see the Sonics may not, that
- 28:40Speaker 1: may not become official until the winners deep fall. But
- 28:44Speaker 1: that's what we have to look forward to you here
- 28:45Speaker 1: in Seattle, but not talk about Oklahoma City when back
- 28:48Speaker 1: to back titles. That's got sorry my bad.
- 28:52Speaker 2: We can you can just tease that the mayor is
- 28:54Speaker 2: coming up. My apologies.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Three successes Halani and mcint until a glass of sharbon ay,
- 29:02Speaker 1: Well that's assumption. Can Sharbone come back during the season.
- 29:06Speaker 1: We'll see if Zach Sharviny come back from the a CEO.
- 29:08Speaker 2: The Mayor Maple Vali, I think he's in house today.
- 29:10Speaker 1: I thought I saw him out there somewhere, Mayor of
- 29:12Speaker 1: Maple Valley I in Furness.
- 29:14Speaker 2: He's up next. We're going to talk a little bit
- 29:15Speaker 2: to each other.
- 29:16Speaker 1: It's long time no see with him heading into his
- 29:19Speaker 1: show twelve to three. As the midday rolls on on

- 29:33Speaker 2: Day one of the Redo.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Here on ninety three point three KJRFM. Yes, this is
- 29:38Speaker 1: the permanent change for the midday and at from twelve
- 29:42Speaker 1: until three, Ian Forness will be with you and he
- 29:45Speaker 1: joins us from the Virginia Mason Athletics Center, Seahawks headquarters,
- 29:48Speaker 1: which I am heading to. We are going to carry
- 29:50Speaker 1: at one o'clock the press conference, the pre draft press
- 29:53Speaker 1: conference that general manager John Schneider and coach Mike McDonald
- 29:57Speaker 1: will be doing from the vMac.
- 29:58Speaker 2: From the Virginia Mason Athletics Center, Hello, sir, you're there.
- 30:01Speaker 5: How are you happy? First day of school?
- 30:04Speaker 2: Yes, it does seem why I have my lunchbox and
- 30:06Speaker 2: everything else.
- 30:07Speaker 5: Yeah. Did you get a picture for your mom?
- 30:08Speaker 2: Yes? I did.
- 30:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:09Speaker 6: My kid's got his first day of a class today
- 30:12Speaker 6: for post grad stuff, and I said to get mom's
- 30:15Speaker 6: gonna need to picture first day picture them.
- 30:18Speaker 5: Wasn't happy with that. You know what, big fellow, make
- 30:21Speaker 5: it happen.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Grade grade seventeen for him?
- 30:25Speaker 5: Yeah, what it would be? I think?
- 30:27Speaker 6: So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So well, congratulations your voice,
- 30:31Speaker 6: Thank you, sir. Good to talk to you. Yeah, So
- 30:33Speaker 6: what I what do you want to see from the sea?
- 30:36Speaker 6: We talked about running back. Do you think it's like
- 30:38Speaker 6: imperative that they have to do that. Man, I stopped
- 30:40Speaker 6: guessing what John Shiner is going to probably in twenty eleven.
- 30:43Speaker 5: Yeah, because you're never going to be right.
- 30:48Speaker 6: Well, yeah, I mean that's all that's the obvious need,
- 30:51Speaker 6: right for sure.
- 30:52Speaker 1: It's a week draft for running back, week drafted period,
- 30:54Speaker 1: but a week draft particular for running back.
- 30:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:56Speaker 6: I hope they I just hope there's picks on Saturday,
- 30:59Speaker 6: because we've got a lot of radio.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I think they're going to gain at least one pick.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I can't imagine him just going four rounds with only
- 31:07Speaker 1: one pick in the sixth round.
- 31:08Speaker 6: Well, the last time was the COVID year mm hmm,
- 31:12Speaker 6: and then and then the following what two or three
- 31:15Speaker 6: drafts have been spectacular, right, so when he has done that,
- 31:19Speaker 6: it's been pretty good. Like it's it's it's been really good.
- 31:22Speaker 6: So you know, I mean, I don't know, it's I
- 31:25Speaker 6: think it's it's so much fun because we're guessing. You know,
- 31:28Speaker 6: we're playing a guessing game with him and kind of
- 31:31Speaker 6: past history. We learned from history and we know that
- 31:34Speaker 6: he likes to move down, which is it's what is it?
- 31:36Speaker 6: Ten of the fourteen times or whatever it is.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Ye sixteens takest round.
- 31:40Speaker 6: Yeah, So, I mean I think all those things come
- 31:42Speaker 6: into play. I I the running back position at rusher
- 31:48Speaker 6: corner for some competition with Joe for sure, and some depth.
- 31:52Speaker 6: I mean, those are the positions in need. That's not
- 31:53Speaker 6: a secret. You know.
- 31:55Speaker 5: The other thing is.
- 31:55Speaker 6: Is they've they return eleven of twelve, ten of eleven
- 31:59Speaker 6: starters on offense. You know, you lose Kobe Bryant, but
- 32:02Speaker 6: you got Tyokatta, You've got some depth at the corners of.
- 32:08Speaker 5: Young guys and safety, some young guys.
- 32:11Speaker 6: I wonder, Greg, I wonder if the name Jacartia Right's
- 32:15Speaker 6: gonna be one.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Yeah, we brought him up. That's really good.
- 32:17Speaker 6: Yeah, because I think that you know, one of those
- 32:20Speaker 6: guys it's you know, training camp, preseason, all Pro and
- 32:23Speaker 6: then goes on the practice squad and then gets hurt
- 32:26Speaker 6: and is on ir the rest of the year. You
- 32:27Speaker 6: forget about them, right, But I think they were pretty
- 32:30Speaker 6: high on that.
- 32:30Speaker 1: And he's been in the building for a while. I
- 32:32Speaker 1: got to get out in a hurry for to give you
- 32:33Speaker 1: some clear decks. What do you got going on today?
- 32:35Speaker 6: We'll get We're gonna just with the new world we
- 32:38Speaker 6: live in. We're gonna molly wop today at noon actually
- 32:41Speaker 6: twelve twenty with Nathan and Chris and kind of recap
- 32:45Speaker 6: the marin a weekend that was we'll carry the news
- 32:47Speaker 6: conference coming up at one o'clock, right, John Schneider and
- 32:50Speaker 6: Pete care Carroll got slip it was three years in
- 32:54Speaker 6: John Schneider and Mike McDonald will carry that coming up
- 32:57Speaker 6: at one o'clock and react to that obviously as well.
- 33:00Speaker 6: And then after we went off the air on Friday,
- 33:03Speaker 6: after he was he's making his way around. It was
- 33:05Speaker 6: a long lock or clean out day. I sat down
- 33:07Speaker 6: for an extended conversation with Lane Lambert with what he
- 33:11Speaker 6: wants to see moving ahead to get to the point
- 33:13Speaker 6: where this should be the most fun time of the
- 33:15Speaker 6: year if you're an NHL fan and for us as
- 33:18Speaker 6: Seattle has him in the last couple of years. So
- 33:19Speaker 6: we'll talk to him coming up at one o'clock. Pretty
- 33:22Speaker 6: blunt from him, So ill looking forward to that as well.
- 33:24Speaker 1: So, yeah, Lane, i Embert's coming back as the coach.
- 33:27Speaker 1: That's been confirmed and talked to by Wiki told me
- 33:29Speaker 1: that in the air.
- 33:30Speaker 5: Yeah he's coming back. Yeah, he's coming back.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Yeah, that's and for NATS. I'll be with you from
- 33:33Speaker 2: twelve until three. I have a keyword for you for
- 33:35Speaker 2: a thousand dollars Grand Slave Cast giveaway.
