- 0:43Speaker 1: journeys to a new and better you. I have ten
- 0:47Speaker 1: podcasts that talk about different versions of healing and recovery.
- 0:51Speaker 1: This particular podcast is all about you minding your own
- 0:58Speaker 1: business instead of you worrying about everybody else, instead of
- 1:03Speaker 1: you worrying about what everybody else is doing, instead of
- 1:06Speaker 1: you trying to live up to everybody else's expectations and
- 1:09Speaker 1: lowering yourselves in order to be captain saber hos, bill bears,
- 1:12Speaker 1: bill dolls, see fillers and people leazers. You going through
- 1:15Speaker 1: all these hoops and bounds. Be loved life, to appreciate it, valued,
- 1:19Speaker 1: want it, needed to be a part of something, to
- 1:20Speaker 1: be validated, to be approved though, to be accepted, for
- 1:23Speaker 1: somebody to know your worth. Do somebody know your value?
- 1:26Speaker 1: And you basically trying to prove yourself to people that's
- 1:29Speaker 1: not even worth you doing all of that. You jumping
- 1:33Speaker 1: through hoops and bounds, You trying to make sure everybody
- 1:35Speaker 1: else is good, trying to be the person that's going
- 1:40Speaker 1: to be the right or die. And yet the person
- 1:43Speaker 1: that you're doing that for, or the people that you're
- 1:45Speaker 1: doing that for, they're not doing the same for you. Now,
- 1:50Speaker 1: this particular podcast is basically what we're talking about this
- 1:55Speaker 1: particular season is about success, financial financial healing. Now, a
- 2:02Speaker 1: lot of people don't understand that we don't normally talk
- 2:05Speaker 1: about financial healing. We always have about financial success. We
- 2:09Speaker 1: always talk about how to go about being successful, but
- 2:12Speaker 1: we never talk about what happens when extenuating circumstances or
- 2:19Speaker 1: something you did caused you to lose everything accountability. Now.
- 2:27Speaker 1: You can't be successful again if you're doing things the
- 2:34Speaker 1: same way that you did them twenty thirty years ago.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Just like you can't make a marriage work or still
- 2:43Speaker 1: have a marriage or any type of relationship if the
- 2:47Speaker 1: people that you're dealing with are still the same type
- 2:50Speaker 1: people now. Mind you, there are a lot of people
- 2:53Speaker 1: like myself who lost their job and the rug was
- 2:57Speaker 1: pulled from up under them. And see people at like
- 3:01Speaker 1: this stuff hasn't been happening before. Everything that's happening now
- 3:04Speaker 1: has been happening. Why because when it comes to negativity,
- 3:08Speaker 1: it's gonna continue doing the same thing until it finds
- 3:10Speaker 1: the fools, the dummies, and the people that are lost
- 3:14Speaker 1: souls that are confused, that are easily to be manipulated.
- 3:18Speaker 1: They can basically do what they want to too. It's
- 3:21Speaker 1: like a vampire that sucks the life out of you. Okay,
- 3:23Speaker 1: well guess what. Your jobs ain't no different. So today
- 3:26Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about the fact of the matter. How
- 3:29Speaker 1: do you overcome losing your job? How do you overcome
- 3:34Speaker 1: the rug being pulled from up under you? When you
- 3:37Speaker 1: go to work every single day, go to work, you
- 3:41Speaker 1: do your job. You don't take no time off, and
- 3:45Speaker 1: then one day they tell you you're being let go. You
- 3:49Speaker 1: did nothing wrong. They let you go because they're downsizing.
- 3:54Speaker 1: They let you go because your position is no longer needed.
- 3:58Speaker 1: What happens next, what happens next when that happens. And
- 4:04Speaker 1: the reason that this needs to be talked about, which
- 4:06Speaker 1: is I don't which I don't know why it's not,
- 4:08Speaker 1: because that's the part that's missing in a lot of
- 4:12Speaker 1: these conversations. You're talking about people being successful, but you're
- 4:18Speaker 1: not talking about what happens when the rug gets pulled
- 4:21Speaker 1: from up under you. How do you not only become successful,
- 4:25Speaker 1: but to maintain that success. How do you get another
- 4:29Speaker 1: job and be able to stay there for twenty thirty
- 4:31Speaker 1: years considering that none of these jobs and all honesty,
- 4:35Speaker 1: really wants you to retire. They don't, and you've heard
- 4:39Speaker 1: them now say it. It's just a lot of people
- 4:41Speaker 1: are saying out loud what they were saying is behind
- 4:44Speaker 1: your back for decades. That's how these people really felt.
- 4:49Speaker 1: When I heard Eon Musk's mother say the whole reason
- 4:52Speaker 1: for having babies is for workers. When people heard that,
- 4:58Speaker 1: especially women, I ain't having no babies. If that's the
- 5:03Speaker 1: only reason you want me to have kids, I'm not
- 5:05Speaker 1: having no kids. A lot of females are really scared
- 5:09Speaker 1: to be single mothers. And there are more women right
- 5:12Speaker 1: now that are in higher positions now than men at
- 5:17Speaker 1: this point. But see the thing about it is when
- 5:21Speaker 1: Women King came out, I remember a lot of black
- 5:24Speaker 1: women got upset because they didn't understand why this movie
- 5:28Speaker 1: was so important. This really did happen. There were women
- 5:33Speaker 1: that were in power. There were women even in today
- 5:38Speaker 1: that run countries of all races. So is it like
- 5:47Speaker 1: with King here May eighth, when he wanted a son
- 5:51Speaker 1: so bad that he neglected his daughters. He would have
- 5:54Speaker 1: never thought in a million years that it would have
- 5:56Speaker 1: been Queen Elizabeth, out of all his children that would
- 6:01Speaker 1: have ran the country successfully with no agenda, know nothing.
- 6:08Speaker 1: She just ran it like she was supposed to. Who
- 6:11Speaker 1: would have thought that am Boleyn's daughter would have been
- 6:13Speaker 1: the one that would have been the one that ended
- 6:16Speaker 1: up being his actual successor Who would have thunk it
- 6:22Speaker 1: the child whose mom he unliveed over a false allegation.
- 6:27Speaker 1: But I digress. But anyway, like I said, you know,
- 6:34Speaker 1: getting going and obtaining something depending on who it is
- 6:39Speaker 1: can be easy and for others it can be harder.
- 6:43Speaker 1: But which road should you take? The easy road or
- 6:49Speaker 1: the harder road? Now, the easy road is somebody whose
- 6:54Speaker 1: parents got money and they can just go in there
- 6:58Speaker 1: and they just get the job or they're handed the company,
- 7:02Speaker 1: whereas a child that doesn't have money has to work hard.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Some people, even though they have a degree, still can't
- 7:12Speaker 1: get a job and what they went to school for.
- 7:13Speaker 1: But you want somebody to pay student loans. Not only
- 7:17Speaker 1: that you get in these jobs and you're already in
- 7:20Speaker 1: debt because as soon as you start working, the first
- 7:24Speaker 1: thing with it, they say, I want you to pay
- 7:25Speaker 1: student loans. They don't care that you got to pay
- 7:27Speaker 1: your house payment, your mortgage and all these other things.
- 7:30Speaker 1: They don't care nothing about that. All they care about
- 7:35Speaker 1: is the fact that you got to sit up here
- 7:40Speaker 1: and pay your student loans. These jobs are not paying
- 7:46Speaker 1: enough for you to do that, because even if you've
- 7:50Speaker 1: been working for ten years, I did medical billing for
- 7:53Speaker 1: ten years, almost eleven years this year, and they still
- 7:59Speaker 1: want to put me in nineteen twenty dollars an hour jobs,
- 8:04Speaker 1: not based on my experience. That's just how much they
- 8:08Speaker 1: gonna give me I looked at North Carolina. When I
- 8:12Speaker 1: go back as far as how much it's between thirteen
- 8:15Speaker 1: to eighteen dollars an hour. What is thirteen to eighteen
- 8:20Speaker 1: dollars an hour gonna do for me if I had
- 8:23Speaker 1: to pay for a house and a car and everything else,
- 8:28Speaker 1: especially if you coming from a job that you got
- 8:30Speaker 1: paid twenty four dollars an hour. Then the crazy part
- 8:34Speaker 1: is when they ask you what your weaknesses are. Let
- 8:37Speaker 1: me let me tell you what he asked you that
- 8:39Speaker 1: they asked you that, just to see what you're gonna say.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I say, to be honest, I don't think of anything
- 8:45Speaker 1: as a weakness. I just look at it as a challenge,
- 8:49Speaker 1: meaning that if anything that I'm not good at, I'm
- 8:53Speaker 1: either gonna learn how to be better at it or
- 8:57Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do it at all. It just depends.
- 9:01Speaker 1: So when they asked me what my weaknesses are, I said,
- 9:03Speaker 1: to be honest, I don't have any, I said, because
- 9:07Speaker 1: everything that good or bad I take as a learning experience.
- 9:14Speaker 1: So if you ask me what weaknesses do I have
- 9:17Speaker 1: that I've learned from, I got plenty. And that's what
- 9:23Speaker 1: throws a love of employers off. And those are the people.
- 9:27Speaker 1: They're scared of people that can take an interview question
- 9:31Speaker 1: and turn it around and flip it in a way
- 9:34Speaker 1: they're not anticipate. That means you're a whole lot more
- 9:38Speaker 1: intelligent than what they anticipate. Because here's the thing. They
- 9:45Speaker 1: don't want to pay you what you're worth. Even if
- 9:49Speaker 1: you say I want to negotiate. Majority is said, well,
- 9:54Speaker 1: we only gonna go up to nineteen. I said, well,
- 9:58Speaker 1: the last job I had was twenty four. They look
- 10:00Speaker 1: at all of that and the first thing they're gonna
- 10:04Speaker 1: say is they're not gonna hire that person because they
- 10:05Speaker 1: gotta pay them more money. That's why they're going to
- 10:09Speaker 1: AI because now people can go and get an education.
- 10:14Speaker 1: That's why they're changing all this stuff with student loans.
- 10:17Speaker 1: So these kids can't go to college because just so
- 10:21Speaker 1: they can work fast food now doesn't make it right. No,
- 10:30Speaker 1: But the reason why they're doing what they're doing is
- 10:33Speaker 1: because the minorities now are the number one ones going
- 10:37Speaker 1: to college, and these richer kids are not going to college.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Why do they need to go to college when they
- 10:44Speaker 1: got money? So everything is flipping and they don't like it.
- 10:51Speaker 1: So now it's we're gonna mess with the education system
- 10:56Speaker 1: every time they put us in debt. Now it's the oh,
- 11:01Speaker 1: y'all gotta pay. They're focusing on student loans. Now, they're
- 11:03Speaker 1: focusing on Medicaid. Now they're focusing on Medicare. That's because
- 11:07Speaker 1: they put us in debt. The politicians put us in debt.
- 11:12Speaker 1: We didn't put ourselves in debt. They did so. Instead
- 11:15Speaker 1: of them going to the rich people and saying, y'all
- 11:19Speaker 1: gotta pay taxes, you're gonna go after people that can't
- 11:23Speaker 1: pay student loans, going after affordable health care, going after
- 11:29Speaker 1: Medicaid and Medicare, going after food stamps, going after Section eight.
- 11:36Speaker 1: If you take away all these programs, do you know
- 11:40Speaker 1: how many people gonna end up homeless? We're nowhere to go,
- 11:46Speaker 1: and then they're gonna turn around and say, oh, these
- 11:49Speaker 1: people just being la. No, all it is is this
- 11:51Speaker 1: here fast food restaurants, well, restaurants as a whole. And
- 11:58Speaker 1: let me break down what I mean by that fast food,
- 12:02Speaker 1: red lobster, Aha, wafer house, just to name a few.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Every time I walk in there, there is always a
- 12:13Speaker 1: hiring sign. Grocery stores always a hiring Stein, clothing stores
- 12:19Speaker 1: always a hiring Stein. Low income jobs when those jobs
- 12:28Speaker 1: don't have anybody that want to work because nobody right
- 12:31Speaker 1: now wants to work fast food. They just don't. Mainly
- 12:35Speaker 1: the ones that work fast foods are mainly like high
- 12:38Speaker 1: school kids that are just starting out. But as far
- 12:42Speaker 1: as adults in their thirties and forties, they not working
- 12:45Speaker 1: fast food. Even the ones that they late twenties don't
- 12:49Speaker 1: want to work fast food and they don't fast food
- 12:53Speaker 1: there is. It's a lot. I worked. My first job
- 12:57Speaker 1: was McDonald's and I hated it because the way these
- 13:02Speaker 1: people coming in and the way they act absolutely not.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I don't want nothing where I gotta talk to people
- 13:09Speaker 1: and they got an attitude I don't feel like dealing
- 13:11Speaker 1: with that. I don't want to. So when it comes
- 13:17Speaker 1: down to this stuff, it don't shock me at all,
- 13:22Speaker 1: It don't not at all. So what I would say
- 13:27Speaker 1: when it comes down to these situations is that nothing
- 13:32Speaker 1: in all honesty shocks me. It just don't. But I
- 13:38Speaker 1: tell people like this here, when it comes down to everything,
- 13:44Speaker 1: you got people now doing three jobs now door dash,
- 13:49Speaker 1: you got people that are basically trying to get by,
- 13:54Speaker 1: and yet you got people on panels talking about some
- 13:57Speaker 1: Why is it that women don't want Why is it
- 14:00Speaker 1: that women want to be independent and self sufficient? And
- 14:02Speaker 1: why is it that women don't want to submit right now?
- 14:05Speaker 1: We're not in that type of economy where anybody can
- 14:08Speaker 1: submit right now, and we're not. It's like people can't
- 14:13Speaker 1: see the writing on the wall. It's right there in
- 14:17Speaker 1: front of your face, but you don't want to see
- 14:19Speaker 1: it because the truth is too much for you to handle.
- 14:23Speaker 1: They can't see that things are changing, that everything that
- 14:28Speaker 1: the United States stood on is now being dismantled. It
- 14:32Speaker 1: just is now Now a regular nine to five job
- 14:38Speaker 1: is not going to cut it. Then, not only that,
- 14:41Speaker 1: there was a woman that never took time off, worked
- 14:45Speaker 1: over time, and these people treated this woman like trash.
- 14:50Speaker 1: And yet she still went to work fourteen years with
- 14:55Speaker 1: the work of early, left late. Even when she was
- 14:59Speaker 1: at home home, she was thinking about work. She didn't
- 15:03Speaker 1: go nowhere, even when she was at any event, she
- 15:06Speaker 1: was thinking about work, talking about work. Her whole entire
- 15:10Speaker 1: life was work, work, work, work, work. That was it.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Then the one day she said she was gonna finally
- 15:16Speaker 1: take a vacation, she passed away in the office. Three
- 15:20Speaker 1: weeks later, her position was already put up there for
- 15:24Speaker 1: somebody else to work a position ain't nowhere in the world.
- 15:33Speaker 1: So while you not able to go on vacation, the
- 15:36Speaker 1: fact that you only now get PTO, you don't get
- 15:40Speaker 1: sick leave, you don't get medical leave. Now you have
- 15:43Speaker 1: to get that through afflet to get secondary where you know,
- 15:49Speaker 1: if you say, if you have a baby, right and
- 15:54Speaker 1: you gotta be out for six weeks, now you have afflet.
- 16:00Speaker 1: So affleck is what adds to whatever your insurance is
- 16:05Speaker 1: that's not being covered. So instead of you getting sickly,
- 16:11Speaker 1: instead of you getting medical lead, you not have to
- 16:14Speaker 1: pay pay for it your insurance. The deductibles are so
- 16:19Speaker 1: high that when you go to the emergency room you
- 16:23Speaker 1: gotta pay that balance before they cover it through co
- 16:26Speaker 1: insurance of cooping or yeah. So now it's like you
- 16:36Speaker 1: gotta pay for insurance which take away from your paycheck, vision, dental,
- 16:41Speaker 1: and medical. Then four one K they take that out.
- 16:47Speaker 1: So if you only get forty hours of PTO, that's
- 16:52Speaker 1: only two weeks. Some jobs get like one hundred and
- 16:57Speaker 1: twenty hours of PTO. But guess where the majority of
- 17:01Speaker 1: that is going. The child gets sick, you get sick,
- 17:06Speaker 1: you gotta go to the hospital. Doctor's appointments, so out
- 17:15Speaker 1: of them eighty hours, you may only have seven days,
- 17:20Speaker 1: maybe two or three to go on vacation. And the
- 17:26Speaker 1: way the cruisers are set up, it's from Saturday to
- 17:34Speaker 1: maybe Friday through Monday, and then for some of them
- 17:38Speaker 1: it's Saturday to Saturday Friday. Okay, yeah, I'm sorry, I
- 17:45Speaker 1: had a phone call anyway. But yeah, a lot of people,
- 17:51Speaker 1: like I said, the rug is being pulled from up
- 17:53Speaker 1: under them before they retire, before they get their pensions.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I remember when they said about all the truck drivers
- 18:00Speaker 1: that were losing their jobs before they got their pensions,
- 18:02Speaker 1: and they never got their pensions. A lot of people
- 18:07Speaker 1: that are having money to get retirement, and then if
- 18:11Speaker 1: you look at retirement, for example, you only get seventeen
- 18:15Speaker 1: eighteen two thousand dollars a month when you worked and
- 18:20Speaker 1: made more than that. And that's the crazy part about it.
- 18:24Speaker 1: You know, it's one thing if you were still getting
- 18:27Speaker 1: your paycheck every single whatever you were making before you retired.
- 18:34Speaker 1: But no, that ain't how that works. You're getting whatever
- 18:38Speaker 1: it is that you put into it in taxes. But
- 18:41Speaker 1: see what the problem also comes in at that would
- 18:43Speaker 1: be a contradiction of you know, whatever taxes you put
- 18:48Speaker 1: into it as far as that year. So my whole
- 18:52Speaker 1: thing is I think that your unemployment shouldn't be based
- 18:56Speaker 1: upon that. It should be based on what you made
- 18:59Speaker 1: throughout your whole INtime, our life. That is what you get.
- 19:04Speaker 1: So it's just crazy to me how they have all
- 19:06Speaker 1: of this set up and now we're in a world
- 19:09Speaker 1: that retirement's not even enough. They're taxing now your retirement.
- 19:12Speaker 1: They used to didn't tax your retirement now they do. So,
- 19:18Speaker 1: you know, it's really crazy how all of this doesn't
- 19:21Speaker 1: make sense. So these are things that we need to
- 19:25Speaker 1: talk about before we even get into success, before we
- 19:28Speaker 1: even get into building a business, building a brand, any
- 19:31Speaker 1: of that. We need to get into a few things.
- 19:37Speaker 1: When it comes to people that work these nine to
- 19:43Speaker 1: five jobs or eight to five, six to two, whatever
- 19:46Speaker 1: time that you work, what is your purpose and what
- 19:49Speaker 1: is your plan of working. Are you trying to learn
- 19:52Speaker 1: that business so you can build something of your own,
- 19:55Speaker 1: or do you want to work the rest of your life?
- 19:58Speaker 1: Because here's the thing, when people ask you what type
- 20:02Speaker 1: of job you want a work life balance. I want
- 20:06Speaker 1: to be able to, you know, spend time with my family,
- 20:11Speaker 1: provide for my family. It's just like when I see
- 20:14Speaker 1: all these people going on vacations and they're going cruising
- 20:18Speaker 1: and they're gone all the time. A lot of people
- 20:21Speaker 1: are looking at that and they're like, well, how can
- 20:23Speaker 1: I do that? Because some people, like I said, don't
- 20:27Speaker 1: want to work a regular ninety five job. They want
- 20:30Speaker 1: to build something that is up their own. Other people
- 20:34Speaker 1: they do, and that's completely fine. Or they do want to,
- 20:38Speaker 1: you know, have a business, but they want somebody else
- 20:42Speaker 1: to run it, and that's fine too, whenever your preference is.
- 20:47Speaker 1: But those two worlds are going to collide eventually, because
- 20:51Speaker 1: if you work a regular ninety five job, that means
- 20:55Speaker 1: fifty two weeks out the year you're probably gonna be
- 20:59Speaker 1: work working probably a good seventy five to eighty percent
- 21:04Speaker 1: of that you gonna be working. You work Monday through Friday,
- 21:10Speaker 1: except holidays, and some people get six holidays a year,
- 21:15Speaker 1: some people get twelve, some get twenty. And then you know,
- 21:21Speaker 1: you have your PCO. But what if you want to
- 21:25Speaker 1: go on a cruise for a family reunion, but because
- 21:29Speaker 1: all your PTO is going, you can't. And then not
- 21:33Speaker 1: only that, you have jobs where you work for staffing
- 21:38Speaker 1: companies because now majority these jobs in the medical field
- 21:42Speaker 1: and the office jobs are are through staffing companies now,
- 21:46Speaker 1: So you're coming in to clean up their mess, and
- 21:48Speaker 1: then as soon as you clean up their stuff, you're
- 21:51Speaker 1: not working there no more. Or you have to go
- 21:53Speaker 1: through your probation period through a staffing company for three
- 21:57Speaker 1: to six months, and then after that, you know what
- 22:01Speaker 1: I'm saying, that's pretty much it. So, like I said,
- 22:06Speaker 1: you know, I'm not really surprised by the fact that
- 22:12Speaker 1: people now are like I'm leaving the United States because
- 22:16Speaker 1: in other countries they work four hours and that's it,
- 22:21Speaker 1: and they still can pay their bills. There are people
- 22:25Speaker 1: get affordable health care, free health care. So I'm a
- 22:31Speaker 1: little loss on. You know when they talk about they
- 22:35Speaker 1: want to make America great again, but you're making America broke.
- 22:41Speaker 1: You don't want these rich and well people to pay
- 22:43Speaker 1: taxes all the money they got, and you mean telling
- 22:47Speaker 1: they can't pay taxes as much money they make per
- 22:51Speaker 1: year through these companies. You're not asking the company to
- 22:55Speaker 1: pay taxes, cause you're not even charging taxes on the company.
- 23:02Speaker 1: You're charging taxes on the property, but not the company itself.
- 23:08Speaker 1: You're charging taxes for the actual people that actually get
- 23:14Speaker 1: a salary, so you want to give them less than
- 23:20Speaker 1: taxes and more for the people that are middle class
- 23:25Speaker 1: and lower class that can barely go buy groceries, and
- 23:30Speaker 1: all the groceries in the store ain't nowhere and near
- 23:32Speaker 1: no good. But that's a whole other conversation. And yet
- 23:35Speaker 1: and still you want to sit there and say that
- 23:38Speaker 1: y'all don't understand why people don't want to work for
- 23:41Speaker 1: what What do you mean why they don't want to
- 23:44Speaker 1: work because the way that they're being treated in these jobs.
- 23:50Speaker 1: The anxiety twenty years ago, when would you hear the
- 23:55Speaker 1: word anxiety twenty years ago? You heard about the depression,
- 24:00Speaker 1: but you never heard about anxiety. When did people start
- 24:04Speaker 1: getting anxiety when they drive? When did people start getting
- 24:08Speaker 1: to the point where we had colon cancer and all
- 24:11Speaker 1: this other stuff? When so, like I said, before you
- 24:15Speaker 1: start talking about healing, there are people that sit there
- 24:19Speaker 1: all day long, and they talk about problems on these
- 24:21Speaker 1: panels all day long. Where are the solutions? The reason
- 24:26Speaker 1: they don't want the solutions to be told is because
- 24:31Speaker 1: if you actually start talking about solutions and ways for
- 24:36Speaker 1: people's lives to get better, then a lot of people
- 24:40Speaker 1: will lose a lot of money and a lot of
- 24:43Speaker 1: jobs won't be needed. If people start cooking from home,
- 24:50Speaker 1: a lot of restaurants lose a lot of money, and
- 24:52Speaker 1: they do. And if people started sitting there and sewing
- 24:56Speaker 1: their own clothes, then a lot of fashion clubs, fashion
- 25:00Speaker 1: houses would be out of business. So at one time
- 25:09Speaker 1: you didn't have what we had about I'd say, seventy
- 25:15Speaker 1: years ago, there were no clothing stores. You know, people
- 25:21Speaker 1: would go and they would get certain clothes, but not
- 25:27Speaker 1: the way it is today. Seventy years ago, it wasn't
- 25:31Speaker 1: the modern civilization that it is now with the Internet
- 25:34Speaker 1: and all this stuff, and people were healthier. Yeah, they
- 25:38Speaker 1: had to deal with polio and they had to deal
- 25:40Speaker 1: with certain illnesses. But you know what I'm saying, life
- 25:46Speaker 1: was simpler now. Even though we have all of this
- 25:52Speaker 1: stuff now, stuff is harder financially. So even though we
- 25:57Speaker 1: have a more modern life, a more comfortability life somewhat
- 26:04Speaker 1: meaning that you have all the social media, you got,
- 26:07Speaker 1: all these electronics you got, you know, the comfortability of things,
- 26:13Speaker 1: but it's it's expensive. Everything that you need to have
- 26:21Speaker 1: a peaceful life, a healthy life, to help you heal,
- 26:27Speaker 1: they're charging you for it. Everything that is your necessities,
- 26:31Speaker 1: they're charging you for it. But if you learn to
- 26:34Speaker 1: create it yourself, then they can't charge you for it.
- 26:39Speaker 1: The only thing you're buying is whatever you need for
- 26:42Speaker 1: those necessities. So you know, it's it's really crazy, it is.
- 26:49Speaker 1: It's it's insane, but this is what we're dealing with
- 26:56Speaker 1: and where we're at the things you're like, you know, me,
- 27:00Speaker 1: I'm moving today, and today's moving day, and I gotta
- 27:06Speaker 1: get on the plane at three o'clock. Well at five
- 27:10Speaker 1: fifty nine, five seventeen. They're gonna be boreding, So I
- 27:15Speaker 1: gotta leave at three to get there about three forty
- 27:18Speaker 1: five to go check in the bag, to go, you know,
- 27:23Speaker 1: go through TSA and then go and you know, go
- 27:31Speaker 1: go down to the go to my flight. So yeah,
- 27:35Speaker 1: it's it's crazy, but you know, and I had some
- 27:39Speaker 1: missed that mishats because the moving people because it's raining,
- 27:42Speaker 1: they had to wait for everything to calm down for
- 27:44Speaker 1: to stop raining, but then to move everything. So they
- 27:48Speaker 1: should be here between twelve and one. I told the
- 27:52Speaker 1: cleaning people to come at two thirty. So by the
- 27:56Speaker 1: time they come, the movers will be will probably being
- 27:59Speaker 1: under stared hard body in so when they come in
- 28:02Speaker 1: each room they can just vacuum and clean and then
- 28:08Speaker 1: once they move the last little bit of stuff, then
- 28:10Speaker 1: they could come in so they can the cleaning people
- 28:13Speaker 1: and the moving people will basically be able to get everything.
- 28:18Speaker 1: So it's just what needs to be moved. And I
- 28:21Speaker 1: should be here till three because I told them I'll
- 28:23Speaker 1: be here, but till three because then I gotta leave
- 28:26Speaker 1: and stuff. So hopefully they will be here by one hopefully,
- 28:34Speaker 1: so we'll see how that happens. So you know, in
- 28:39Speaker 1: the end, like I said, you know, every time you
- 28:43Speaker 1: get money, it's going somewhere, whether it be a business,
- 28:48Speaker 1: whether it be your bills, it's going somewhere. But it's
- 28:51Speaker 1: not coming to you for you decide what it is
- 28:54Speaker 1: that you really want to do. And it's crazy. You
- 28:58Speaker 1: get your paycheck and the first thing that it does
- 29:02Speaker 1: goes right out of your hand. You never see it.
- 29:06Speaker 1: You never see it. At least if you have a business. Yeah,
- 29:10Speaker 1: you're putting the money back into your business. But when
- 29:12Speaker 1: it starts to make money, you have enough to put
- 29:16Speaker 1: it back in your business. And then you also if
- 29:19Speaker 1: you stack your money up, you have enough to pay
- 29:22Speaker 1: off everything. So once you pay off your house, the
- 29:25Speaker 1: only thing you gotta do is pay taxes, Which why
- 29:27Speaker 1: are we paying taxes on a house that's paid off?
- 29:31Speaker 1: That makes no sense. Why am I paying land taxes?
- 29:36Speaker 1: That doesn't make sense either, So it's like, you know,
- 29:42Speaker 1: it's really insane how all of this is playing out.
- 29:47Speaker 1: So every time, no matter how far you get, your
- 29:51Speaker 1: money's leaving going somewhere. It just is, it's going somewhere.
- 29:57Speaker 1: So you know, you ask yourself when you really start
- 30:04Speaker 1: looking at these things, You're like, what is the point
- 30:06Speaker 1: of all of this? When you got people in RVs
- 30:11Speaker 1: and campers and cars and they're driving and they're traveling,
- 30:16Speaker 1: and I'm seeing these people living their best life on
- 30:19Speaker 1: social media and getting paid to be out there living
- 30:24Speaker 1: their best life. I'm not mad at that. I'm really not.
- 30:28Speaker 1: I'm not mad at it at all, to be honest. So,
- 30:32Speaker 1: like I said, you know, in the end, whatever you
- 30:35Speaker 1: feel is gonna work for you will absolutely work for you.
- 30:41Speaker 1: But the sad part about all of this is that,
- 30:45Speaker 1: you know, the sad part about every single bit of
- 30:51Speaker 1: this is that this is really what's been going on.
- 30:56Speaker 1: It's just now people that never thought there would be
- 30:59Speaker 1: a affected by it are now affected by it. You
- 31:03Speaker 1: have people that are putting the ghettos and trailers and
- 31:07Speaker 1: Section eight and housing because they could they couldn't afford
- 31:11Speaker 1: to get a house. You're pushing these kids out here
- 31:16Speaker 1: into a world that every dime they get is not
- 31:21Speaker 1: going into their pocket, it's going into somebody Else's the
- 31:26Speaker 1: whole reason these people are moving out, not because they
- 31:29Speaker 1: can't when they turn eighteen, come and go as they please,
- 31:33Speaker 1: but it's because they want to have sex, and they
- 31:36Speaker 1: can't have sex in their mama house. You can't throw
- 31:39Speaker 1: parties at your mama's house. You can't have a bunch
- 31:41Speaker 1: of people at your mama's house or your parents' house.
- 31:46Speaker 1: So that's the main reason people move out. But then
- 31:49Speaker 1: when you move out and you by yourself, and you
- 31:55Speaker 1: living by yourself and you gotta do everything by yourself,
- 31:59Speaker 1: you wish to God that you were living back at home,
- 32:02Speaker 1: because Liza, if you living back at home, you know, yeah,
- 32:05Speaker 1: you're helping your parents out. But if their house is
- 32:07Speaker 1: paid for and all you gotta do is help with
- 32:10Speaker 1: the electric, you gonna stack up way more money. Why
- 32:15Speaker 1: because your parents' house is paid for. If the house
- 32:18Speaker 1: is paid for. Guess what, you don't have a house payment,
- 32:22Speaker 1: So those little bills that you got, you can go
- 32:26Speaker 1: on vacation whenever you want to. So if you work
- 32:31Speaker 1: forty hours a week, and then while you work and
- 32:35Speaker 1: you building something of your own and start making money,
- 32:38Speaker 1: and you met like twenty thousand, say okay, let's say
- 32:42Speaker 1: you add up your bills right, your electric, your water,
- 32:45Speaker 1: your rent, add all of that up, and then decide, okay,
- 32:51Speaker 1: how much money would it do you think starting off
- 32:55Speaker 1: that you'd want to make to be able to not
- 32:58Speaker 1: only put back into your bus business, but to be
- 33:02Speaker 1: able to have money to be able to pay off
- 33:05Speaker 1: a house. I say twenty thousand a month. If you
- 33:10Speaker 1: made twenty thousand a month, you have enough to put
- 33:14Speaker 1: back into your business. Starting off, you have enough to
- 33:20Speaker 1: you know, pay your rent off for a whole entire year,
- 33:26Speaker 1: and you would have enough to pretty much do what
- 33:29Speaker 1: you want to do. And then every year it'll go
- 33:33Speaker 1: up ten thousand, thirty thousand, forty thousand, and fifty thousand,
- 33:35Speaker 1: sixty thousand, seven thousand, and then when you start making
- 33:38Speaker 1: one hundred thousand a year, then guess what, you got
- 33:41Speaker 1: enough to buy a house, pay it off. You have
- 33:45Speaker 1: enough to buy you know, a car, two cars, maybe
- 33:49Speaker 1: one that says I made it. But being realistic about it,
- 33:52Speaker 1: so for example, instead of me going and getting a
- 33:55Speaker 1: guy for second, poor chall would just go get me
- 33:58Speaker 1: a nice Mercedes. Pay it off. But you know, some
- 34:02Speaker 1: people go and they lease cars. They'll they'll lease a
- 34:04Speaker 1: car and that's just what they'll do. And I'm like, okay,
- 34:09Speaker 1: but all that money you're putting into leasing in that car,
- 34:11Speaker 1: that car is not yours. But that's what a lot
- 34:14Speaker 1: of people are doing now. They're leasing a car because
- 34:18Speaker 1: that way, anytime they want to trade that car in
- 34:20Speaker 1: and get another car, they just can trade it in
- 34:21Speaker 1: get another car. That's it as long as they pay
- 34:24Speaker 1: it off very much. But a lot of people will
- 34:28Speaker 1: sit there and get stuff and they say I don't
- 34:29Speaker 1: want it that then I'm gonna trade it in. What
- 34:32Speaker 1: But that's because they're leasing it. They're not buying it,
- 34:35Speaker 1: they're leasing it. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that,
- 34:40Speaker 1: because I mean, at least if something wrong with the car,
- 34:42Speaker 1: you can always exchange it. And you know that has
- 34:46Speaker 1: its benefits. But you know, renting a house is a
- 34:50Speaker 1: whole another different situation. So I just say to people
- 34:56Speaker 1: that really you want to buy land more so and
- 35:01Speaker 1: then build a house that you won't on it, because
- 35:04Speaker 1: then you're not paying taxes on the house, banding hat
- 35:06Speaker 1: tax on the land, and that's it. You're paying take
- 35:09Speaker 1: it on the land, the land every year. The house
- 35:11Speaker 1: is paid for you built it. And it's actually cheaper
- 35:17Speaker 1: to build a house than it is to rent one, cause,
- 35:24Speaker 1: like I said, you're just paying the people to baseic
- 35:26Speaker 1: build it, and then all the materials and stuff. So
- 35:30Speaker 1: if you go out and pick the materials or whatever
- 35:32Speaker 1: it is that you won't then they build it for you.
- 35:36Speaker 1: And that's it. Because once you pay for the land,
- 35:39Speaker 1: you can build whatever you want to on it. So
- 35:44Speaker 1: I would I would just say, you know, there's a
- 35:48Speaker 1: lot that I've learned, you know in this situation with
- 35:51Speaker 1: my dad, that I've absolutely learned. But like I said,
- 35:57Speaker 1: you know, they're gonna be they're gonna be ups and downs.
- 36:00Speaker 1: July today, with my movie, they were supposed to be
- 36:04Speaker 1: here between ten and twelve. It's been pushed back for
- 36:06Speaker 1: two hours. He called me around nine, so they should
- 36:12Speaker 1: be here about twelve one o'clock and the movie and
- 36:15Speaker 1: they were cleaning people coming are two. I'm leaving at three,
- 36:19Speaker 1: So either way go, they gotta work it out, and
- 36:21Speaker 1: they gonna work it out, and they gonna have to
- 36:24Speaker 1: do the job. They ain't got no choice. So the
- 36:29Speaker 1: girls coming at two thirty, then I'll let her know
- 36:33Speaker 1: that the movie people may still be here because they
- 36:36Speaker 1: were hot. They were running behind. So you know, it's
- 36:40Speaker 1: like forty minutes from my house. But it all works
- 36:43Speaker 1: up out. I'm not paying a kick because either way
- 36:46Speaker 1: I go, I'm not going to be here when they
- 36:50Speaker 1: when they move everything, I won't be here. I will
- 36:54Speaker 1: be gone. I will be on a plane cause I
- 36:57Speaker 1: have a non refundable ticket, so I can can't change
- 37:00Speaker 1: my flight. Some told me to leave it as it was.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Now can I call them and tell them? Can they
- 37:08Speaker 1: change the flight? They can change it, but I already
- 37:11Speaker 1: did my uber and that's gonna be here at three.
- 37:15Speaker 1: So I'm just gonna let the movie let them know that.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I got people moving my furniture and they're moving they're
- 37:22Speaker 1: moving everything today and then once they move everything, then
- 37:28Speaker 1: the cleaning people gonna be in there and they'll be
- 37:30Speaker 1: done by the end of the day. And I said
- 37:33Speaker 1: I need somebody turning the keys, telling somebody to go
- 37:36Speaker 1: over there and lock to do they can do the
- 37:38Speaker 1: walk through. As soon as they come, lock the door.
- 37:40Speaker 1: They can do the walk through and I can leave.
- 37:43Speaker 1: I turn the keys, I'll get on the plane. I'm
- 37:46Speaker 1: about a matter of fact, I'm just sitting here resting
- 37:49Speaker 1: now so I can get prepared to be going to TSA,
- 37:53Speaker 1: going through, dropping off a luggage. It's just like for me,
- 37:58Speaker 1: you know, I said, I am no longer letting nobody
- 38:00Speaker 1: pull the roof from up under me. And guess what
- 38:01Speaker 1: I'm doing. I got some jurely in there, or order
- 38:04Speaker 1: some more beads, or order some more stuff for my
- 38:07Speaker 1: coaching stuff. And yeah, you gotta spend money to make money.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I need. I need people understand that you have to
- 38:13Speaker 1: spend money to make money. So when you start making
- 38:19Speaker 1: more than what you spent, then you've made a profit.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Sometimes you might make you might just make enough to
- 38:27Speaker 1: put back in your business. Sometimes you might make more.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Sometimes you may make less. It's a gamble. But I
- 38:35Speaker 1: made this channel because, like I said, when you focus
- 38:39Speaker 1: on you, and you build for yourself, and you do
- 38:44Speaker 1: for yourself, then you will see how happier you will
- 38:47Speaker 1: be when you see your success, and then the people
- 38:52Speaker 1: that truly support you will be along on the journey
- 38:57Speaker 1: when you see all the people that you benefit that
- 38:59Speaker 1: you help, people that love what you do. Because right now,
- 39:03Speaker 1: what you're doing is making other people money. You're making
- 39:06Speaker 1: other people's comfortability. See, their success is not based on them.
- 39:13Speaker 1: They created the company. Their success is based off what
- 39:17Speaker 1: you do for them, but you're not being rewarded for it.
- 39:22Speaker 1: And the one thing I said that I was gonna
- 39:24Speaker 1: do for anybody who worked for me as far as
- 39:27Speaker 1: like you know, certain things, I'm gonna make sure that
- 39:33Speaker 1: they become something themselves. I'm not gonna keep them in
- 39:36Speaker 1: those positions because my goal is a coach, is this.
- 39:39Speaker 1: I want other coaches as well. And then I want
- 39:42Speaker 1: to build a retreat that's gonna be strictly for people
- 39:46Speaker 1: to come and be able to do their coaching at
- 39:50Speaker 1: the retreat. So for example, like we'll be doing stuff
- 39:56Speaker 1: from the retreat, but I'm renting it out to where
- 39:59Speaker 1: people like different coaches could come and they can do
- 40:03Speaker 1: like you know, weight loss coaching, there, all kinds of stuff.
- 40:08Speaker 1: And then eventually it's gonna be worldwide in different parts
- 40:11Speaker 1: of the world. I have a lot of things that
- 40:15Speaker 1: I want to do to branch off. But the one
- 40:19Speaker 1: thing I learned is about multiple streams of income, not
- 40:22Speaker 1: just one. One's not gonna cut it no more. And
- 40:25Speaker 1: nowadays it's not even having a job. It's gonna cut
- 40:27Speaker 1: it no more. And a lot of people that got talent,
- 40:31Speaker 1: a lot of people that have really good abilities are
- 40:35Speaker 1: making somebody else's money. Delight football players, they're making these
- 40:40Speaker 1: owners' money, them owners, not the ones damaging themselves. The
- 40:44Speaker 1: athletes are. These singers are making these moguls money. Cause again,
- 40:50Speaker 1: you're getting alone. It is alone. That's what you're getting.
- 40:54Speaker 1: You're getting alone. It's just like when you have stakeholders
- 40:58Speaker 1: and stockholders. Stakeholders and stockholders are very different. There's a
- 41:03Speaker 1: difference between the two. A stakeholder is someone that when
- 41:08Speaker 1: y'all have meetings, that person has a stake in your company.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Stockholders are people like the stock exchange stuff like that,
- 41:17Speaker 1: and then you have investors, which are stakeholders. So investors
- 41:21Speaker 1: are stakeholders. These are people that have a stake in
- 41:23Speaker 1: your company. Whereas stockholders they go and they get stock
- 41:29Speaker 1: in your company. That is completely different. Stockholders are not
- 41:34Speaker 1: going to have as much of an impact on your
- 41:37Speaker 1: business as a stakeholder, AKN investor would. That investor is
- 41:42Speaker 1: giving you money to help you build your business. But
- 41:45Speaker 1: if you don't put in that contract that you have
- 41:49Speaker 1: the right to buy back whatever stake they have in
- 41:53Speaker 1: your company for the original price that it is, whatever
- 41:57Speaker 1: that value the steak is, that's how much you gonna
- 41:59Speaker 1: pay about to pay them to buy them out, and
- 42:02Speaker 1: it's gonna be way more than what they gave you.
- 42:08Speaker 1: So when you start making money, that's when you go
- 42:11Speaker 1: ahead and pay out that stakeholder. And that's when you
- 42:14Speaker 1: go ahead and get your hundred percent and then you
- 42:16Speaker 1: and then when you start making money, you can start
- 42:18Speaker 1: paying people to do these things. You can pay people
- 42:22Speaker 1: to help you. As far as getting certain brands and
- 42:25Speaker 1: getting in certain companies, you can start paying them to
- 42:27Speaker 1: do that. But that's a whole nother conversation another day.
- 42:31Speaker 1: But yeah, I just wanted while I had a couple
- 42:33Speaker 1: of minutes before I do this last little bit of packing,
- 42:37Speaker 1: last little bit of stuff that I gotta do because
- 42:39Speaker 1: I don't know what time they're coming, so when they
- 42:42Speaker 1: get here, that's when I'm unplug the internet, box it up,
- 42:48Speaker 1: and get this last little bit of stuff boxed up,
- 42:52Speaker 1: get all this last little bit of trash, because I
- 42:56Speaker 1: will not be here when the cleaning people come. I'll
- 42:58Speaker 1: be here when the cleaning people coming. I'll be here.
- 43:02Speaker 1: I'll show her, show them everything they need to do,
- 43:05Speaker 1: and once after that three o'clock hour, will be on
- 43:09Speaker 1: a plane, regardless of what happens. So hopefully the moving
- 43:14Speaker 1: people will be here before one o'clock. Hopefully let us
- 43:19Speaker 1: pray that they will be here or dumb. So, like
- 43:21Speaker 1: I said, stuff happens. You know, there's always gonna be
- 43:25Speaker 1: monkey wrenches, there's always gonna be ups and downs. But
- 43:29Speaker 1: it's not about how you fall, it's about how you rise.
- 43:33Speaker 1: And stressing about something you can't control ain't nothing you
- 43:37Speaker 1: can do. So the thing about it is, it's not
- 43:40Speaker 1: raining over here. So I probably will give him a
- 43:44Speaker 1: call to see his estimated time or what time be coming.
- 43:48Speaker 1: But hopefully they'll be here before twelve o'clock, well at
- 43:50Speaker 1: least bout twelve thirty, because it's gonna take them two
- 43:53Speaker 1: hours to move. And that was nine something, so the
- 43:57Speaker 1: person is already was already moving with and they did
- 44:01Speaker 1: so I'm gonna call them and see what time they're
- 44:03Speaker 1: gonna be here. So, like I said, the people that's
- 44:07Speaker 1: coming to clean will be here at two thirty. God
- 44:10Speaker 1: told them they were gonna be at two thirty because
- 44:13Speaker 1: I was under the assumption that they were gonna because
- 44:17Speaker 1: I want them here so they'll know what need to
- 44:21Speaker 1: be cleaned, what they can take, throw out, whatever. So
- 44:26Speaker 1: about one o'clock, I'm gonna start throwing everything. At one thirty,
- 44:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna start throwing everything out. They got me thrown out,
- 44:33Speaker 1: and then have them started taking the trash and sticking
- 44:36Speaker 1: it outside. Tell them all the trash is outside, they
- 44:40Speaker 1: gotta go out and you know whatever, the you know,
- 44:44Speaker 1: trash got to go out, and all I gotta do
- 44:48Speaker 1: is take it to the trash. Does it? With that
- 44:51Speaker 1: being said, that's it for me. I thank y'all for
- 44:53Speaker 1: joining me for this episode. I'm your host, Scott is
- 44:55Speaker 1: Austin Maryama. I appreciate y'all and I love y'all until
- 44:58Speaker 1: next time. Bye. Yeah
