Transcript
- 0:01Hello and welcome to another episode of the retail podcast at
- 0:06NRF. And today, I'm with find mine
- 0:09with Michelle, the CEO founder, and just off maternity leave.
- 0:14So, this is how awesome she is. So without any Ado, why don't
- 0:19you tell us a little bit about find?
- 0:20Mine. What you guys do and
- 0:22specifically if I'm coming over to your booth as a retailer,
- 0:26what can I get from coming over to the booth?
- 0:28Yeah. So find mine is a AI.
- 0:31Software application for retailers and Brands and we're
- 0:33specifically focused and fashion home and Beauty at the moment.
- 0:36What we do is we help those retailers and brands do better
- 0:39storytelling around their products.
- 0:40So instead of having to evaluate this lovely Blazer in isolation,
- 0:44we actually can help retailers and Brands, show that Blazer and
- 0:47all the different ways you can wear it.
- 0:48So genes do look great with slacks with a different shirt
- 0:51with a pocket square and kind of help take out that extra work.
- 0:56The consumer has to do around how to make that product come to
- 0:58life. Yeah, in their own everyday
- 1:00lives. Um and typically that's
- 1:02something that a merchandiser a marketer would do and it's very
- 1:05manual and time-consuming. So they don't do it.
- 1:06For every product will find mine allows them to do is Showcase
- 1:09that product in all the different outfits that they
- 1:12could wear it in or in a furniture brands case all the
- 1:15different rooms that they could do a mid-century modern room or
- 1:18all the different styles that they can do Beauty.
- 1:20Looks, it's almost like Tick Tock tutorials, meet online
- 1:25e-commerce product pages. It sounds like a dream because
- 1:28it's one of the challenges in retail how How practical is it
- 1:32in setting up and the learning models and your accuracy?
- 1:36I guess, in terms of, you know, I don't know, providing
- 1:38something that is blue because it's my favorite color rather
- 1:41than giving me a pink. What's your accuracy levels on?
- 1:44That? Is such a good question.
- 1:46And one of the biggest, like, strategic advantages that find
- 1:48mine has is what we like to say is we have quality high quality,
- 1:51High scale. So one of the typical problems a
- 1:54retailer, my face has high quality low scale which is your
- 1:57my marketing team. You're going to do it by hand,
- 1:59it's very time-consuming. So you get, you know, 5% of your
- 2:01product catalog into these beautiful assets.
- 2:04Great, if you use a lot of other kind of like, recommendation
- 2:07engine type technology, you're going to get high scale low
- 2:09quality because then it's just going to be based on wisdom of
- 2:12the crowds, and maybe someone doesn't have a great sense of
- 2:14fashion, and that's what the machine learning is learning off
- 2:17of them. So if I - doing is we're
- 2:18actually training, our machine learning models on the Brand's
- 2:22editor, what we call the editorial point of view.
- 2:24So we're training it to actually behave like a new Merchant, like
- 2:28a new marketer and teaching the engine in the same way.
- 2:30A human And learn. So just like you hired a new
- 2:32market or to your team, you would sit them down.
- 2:34You would say this is the Brand's point of view and
- 2:36they've taken through a two-week onboarding period.
- 2:38Just like you would train a new human and your organization
- 2:40we're training to engine. So that's how we keep that
- 2:42quality high and do you have any metrics on conversion in terms
- 2:46of your, I presume you get basket, conversion, you get site
- 2:49conversion, you get selgeh. So tell me a little bit.
- 2:52Yeah, all of that. And I think it's really
- 2:54interesting. You mentioned conversion first
- 2:55because that's always where your mind goes.
- 2:56Yeah, but actually it's about the entire customer lifetime
- 2:59value. So we're seeing conversion rate.
- 3:01Kris, we're seeing average order value increase through upt or
- 3:04just buying a higher price point individual item.
- 3:07We're also seeing repeat purchase go up.
- 3:09So we're building. Loyalty customers have more
- 3:11faith and trust in the brand, it makes sense.
- 3:13If you think about like buying a face serum and if you don't know
- 3:18how to use that face ERM and you use it with the wrong other
- 3:22products, you might actually counteract the benefit of those
- 3:24ingredients and not get the anti-aging benefit, or you might
- 3:27have a skin reaction because you use too much of the same
- 3:30ingredient, right? Right?
- 3:31So if you actually feel confident that you use that skin
- 3:33serum in the right way as part of a beauty regimen that you
- 3:36feel confident about your going to go back to that brand again
- 3:38and again. And so, overall, we're seeing
- 3:40because of those three factors. And I mentioned overall,
- 3:43customer lifetime value increases by 150 percent, which
- 3:46is huge because they all Compound on each other, these
- 3:48metrics and and does the A model in terms of lifetime value, one
- 3:52of the so some online vendor platforms.
- 3:57Do this really? Well in terms of building a view
- 3:59of the customer over the life? I'm Valley, but there's the
- 4:02model then know, for example, I love blue blazers that.
- 4:06So, how does, how would it work in terms of repeat purchases, or
- 4:09customers coming back? So, we actually will remember
- 4:12the customer like by session ID, or someone Anonymous
- 4:16information. So, let's take them coming back.
- 4:18We don't know anything about them.
- 4:19You don't have a table in our database that says first-name.
- 4:21Alex last name Rosamund, all that information.
- 4:24So we don't actually know you might like, however, so we call
- 4:27ourselves complement to personalization, we help amplify
- 4:30personalization. Uh, yeah.
- 4:31Because we provide like, an endless amount of content that
- 4:36is right for the brand. Yeah.
- 4:37And then they can cherry pick from that with their
- 4:40personalization. Vendor, who does have that table
- 4:42in their database and all that information about you they can
- 4:45pull out the right assets. Whereas all that data about, you
- 4:48doesn't do any good. If they go to the pool of
- 4:51beautiful content available and I only have five assets of
- 4:53marketing has approved. Yeah, everyone's getting the
- 4:55same five thing. Yeah, the thing find my does is
- 4:58just we expand that pool content.
- 4:59So, personalization can actually work.
- 5:01Our for the retailer. That's fantastic.
- 5:03So we're going to obviously, let people come to the booth to
- 5:07learn more, but if I'm online, I'm listening on the podcast.
