- 1:04The Arise Women of God Podcast hello and welcome to another episode of the Arise Women of God podcast.
- 1:11I'm your host, Tamara K.
- 1:12Anderson, and joining me today is the amazing Bonnie Randall, who is one of our fantastic women warriors.
- 1:20And and today we're exploring the relay system of Heaven.
- 1:24How God Uses Messengers.
- 1:26First, I'm going to share a little bit of the story of Hannah from the Old Testament and how a priest changed her life.
- 1:32Second, Bonnie is going to share her sermon Miracle, the moment a pastor she had never met delivered a message that could have only come from a God who knew her name.
- 1:44And third, we're going to cover the the safety checks for the soul.
- 1:48How to discern if that first message you're receiving through a friend is truly a green light from the Father of Lights.
- 1:58But first, let's kick it off by diving into the story of Hannah in the old Testament.
- 2:02In First Samuel, Chapter 1, we meet Hannah and she is in the deep wilderness of her soul, longing for a child.
- 2:12And she has been barren.
- 2:13And so we find Hannah weeping at the doors of the tabernacle, praying with all her heart and soul for a child.
- 2:21She was so desperate in her prayer that her lips were moving, but no sound came out.
- 2:27This is where Eli the priest found her.
- 2:29And he completely misunderstood her at first because he thought she was drunk.
- 2:33But when she explained her heart, Eli became the messenger she needed.
- 2:39He didn't have all the context of her years of suffering and pleading to the Lord, but he spoke for the Lord.
- 2:47Listen to what he said in verse 17.
- 2:49Go in peace, peace and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition.
- 2:54Wow, what an answer.
- 2:56The Scriptures then tell us that Hannah wasn't sad anymore.
- 3:00She knew she had gotten an answer from God through Eli the priest.
- 3:05Sometimes the person sitting right next to you is the one God has authorized to send you peace.
- 3:11So God used Eli to turn Hannah's grief into hope.
- 3:16And she later bore the great prophet Samuel.
- 3:20Now Bonnie is going to share a modern day version of God touching us through another person as she shares what happened when she finally walked back into a church after her prodigal journey.
- 3:31And how I wandered for a while and wanted nothing to do with Jesus.
- 3:37And then my sister helped me come back.
- 3:41And when I did eventually go back to church with, with my sister and her family, when we were sitting in, you walk in and she's.
- 3:55I can't remember what denomination she is, but it doesn't matter.
- 3:57You walk in and there's this worship band playing and it was beautiful.
- 4:05I love Christian music and I'm a big.
- 4:08I sing and play the piano and just music's a big part of my life.
- 4:12And so when I walked in, I didn't really know what to expect, but this worship music was playing and it was all about coming into Jesus, having, letting him heal you.
- 4:23And then.
- 4:24So I was.
- 4:25I started getting kind of emotional and like, oh gosh, okay.
- 4:29And the Spirit started hitting me.
- 4:31And all of a sudden it was like this tidal wave of the Spirit.
- 4:39And I hadn't realized how much I had been missing out on those years that I had kind of been wandering and lost.
- 4:50And it's just so broken.
- 4:53And then the pastor gets up and guess what?
- 4:57His sermon's on.
- 5:00What?
- 5:01The prodigal son.
- 5:06Right?
- 5:06I turned to my sister and I'm like, did you tell him I was coming?
- 5:10And she's like, no, I swear I didn't say anything.
- 5:15And I just sat there soaking up his message of love and mercy and forgiveness and how doesn't matter what we've done, we can always turn to him and be forgiven.
- 5:27And I.
- 5:29Then they get up and they start singing another song.
- 5:32And I can't remember what one it was, but it was as if the entire host of heaven came down and wrapped their arms around me.
- 5:43I couldn't even stand.
- 5:45My knees buckled and I fell to the floor just bawling.
- 5:50And I felt.
- 5:54I felt filled.
- 5:57And I realized how starving I truly was in that moment.
- 6:04I needed so much.
- 6:07And thankfully the Savior didn't, didn't disappoint.
- 6:11He came and he filled me with his love and with his, in that moment, his righteousness.
- 6:19God knew exactly where Bonnie was sitting that day.
- 6:23He used that pastor's voice to pierce through the cloud of doubt.
- 6:28But now let's address another aspect of this.
- 6:30When you feel like God is answering you through another person, how do you know that message is actually coming from Him?
- 6:38This is where we apply Step five from our free Roadmap to Revelation Download.
- 6:43It talks about safety checks and Bonnie is now going to share a simple rule for identifying that first voice of revelation.
- 6:54I heard a quote once that is worth sharing something to the effect of, and this is why I say I'm not a scriptorian, because I can't ever quote people correctly.
- 7:02But something to the effect of the first voice when you're praying is God is the Spirit and the second, inevitably is the adversary, because he wants us to doubt ourselves.
- 7:17So if while you're in the middle of this prayer, this searching for truth and righteousness, if you can be still and get yourself still enough, that first thought that you have is the clue.
- 7:31And usually you want to run with that.
- 7:33So, my friend, God is still sending Eli's and pastors and friends into our lives today.
- 7:40If someone says something that brings you a tidal wave of peace or clarity, pay attention.
- 7:48God teaches us it is by their fruits ye shall know them, and God is the author of peace, not confusion.
- 7:54If you're ready to start recognizing the messages or messengers in your own life and tuning into the specific frequency of divine inspiration, you can download our free Roadmap to Revelation 6 steps to hearing God in your daily life.
- 8:09It's a PDF and it has a bundle audio meditation to help you prepare to receive light and revelation.
- 8:17You can get that bundle free by clicking the link below.
- 8:21So, my friend, open your ears and hear the messages God is sending your way today.
- 8:26He might even be speaking to you through the person right next to you.
- 8:31And until next time, may you arise.
- 8:34Do it God's way.
- 8:35God strong.
