A Charlotte man, Lawrence Jackson, 52, just received life in prison with no parole after being convicted of first-degree murder and illegal gun possession. The fatal shooting occurred on June 9th last year when Jackson allegedly fired one shot into the head of Justin Johnson, 33, during a move-out. After the attack, Jackson reportedly tried to cover up the crime by cleaning up and moving the body before fleeing.
