- 0:01Well, howdy and welcome to the Mark Driscoll show guys.
- 0:03We have an awesome show in store for you today.
- 0:06We talk about Bad Bunny, we talk about TPUSAS halftime show, that
- 0:12was awesome. We talk about adoption and we
- 0:15talk about the Olympics. It is going to be a good time.
- 0:19You're going to want to stay and listen through the whole thing.
- 0:21Pastor Mark has a great word at the very end for you guys.
- 0:25So buckle up, it's going to be an awesome show.
- 1:03Well, bastard, Mark. Super Bowl halftime show, At
- 1:07least they were standing. You, you, you had to watch it.
- 1:09We forced you to watch it. Everyone online was like, why is
- 1:12Pastor Mark watching this? Because the Real Faith team
- 1:15forced him. Because maybe I was over in the
- 1:16side yard playing with my grandkids.
- 1:18You know, that's exactly what I was doing.
- 1:20You were like, oh, we got to go play, you know, the Bad Bunny
- 1:23clip. I was like, Dang it.
- 1:24Anyways, and how does eating cookies with grandkids?
- 1:27I know, I know. So for everyone online, we
- 1:29forced Pastor Mark to watch it. He was not happy about it, but
- 1:34yeah. And you weren't, you weren't a
- 1:35huge fan of it. Well, it was stupid.
- 1:37I mean, it was stupid. And part of it is you're in the
- 1:41United States of America. This is a masculine sport where
- 1:46men are committing violent acts against one another.
- 1:49I don't need some queer guy dancing around.
- 1:52It's off brand. It's weird, it's off putting.
- 1:55This is kind of a, a national event where everybody gets
- 1:58together and has fun and it's a, it's a family kind of day.
- 2:02I mean, here at the ranch, you know, real faith.
- 2:04We had families here and I was outside running the nursery.
- 2:08I'd rather play with the kids. And I mean, the game was over in
- 2:10the 1st 30 seconds. The Seahawks defense, it was
- 2:13like, it was wild. It was like it was like an adult
- 2:17attacking a toddler. It was what it was an assault.
- 2:21And so, you know, praying for Drake made a damn sure he feels
- 2:25like he got run over and backed up over a second time.
- 2:29He has to. Tell his kids and grandkids
- 2:30about that for like the next 50. Years of his life, Yeah.
- 2:32Well, he's young. He's going to make a comeback.
- 2:34He's going to win a Super Bowl. He'll be OK.
- 2:36But I I was not playing with the grandkids.
- 2:38But, you know, even here there was a lot of kids of all ages.
- 2:41We had a bouncy house up. And for a lot of people, it's
- 2:43kind of a Family Day. Everybody gets together.
- 2:47And with the halftime entertainment, you don't want to
- 2:50be taking a lot of risks because if you've got minors and
- 2:53children involved, you need to know, like, is this going to be
- 2:56something that is really, really inappropriate for family and for
- 3:01children? And so, you know, when you bring
- 3:03in an entertainer who is, you know, avant-garde gay and.
- 3:07He's kissed a lot of men. He's.
- 3:09Kissed a well, I would say 1 is a lot. 1 is a lot, Yeah.
- 3:15And so, but, but also too part of it is from a nationalism
- 3:18perspective, this is, you know, kind of America's sport now.
- 3:22I mean, the Super Bowl is bigger than, bigger than basketball,
- 3:25bigger than I love baseball. But you know, this is now the
- 3:29the big sporting event, kind of the national sporting moment in
- 3:33America. 134 million people tuned in.
- 3:36Yeah. And so, you know, for us, it's
- 3:38like this is this is America. I mean, this is bigger than the
- 3:41Olympics. The Olympics is going on right
- 3:42now. I'm assuming this is
- 3:44significantly bigger than the Olympics.
- 3:46And so this is an American moment.
- 3:48And it's like, well then speak English because you're in the
- 3:50United States of America, you know, And so to be, you know,
- 3:54overtly queer during a masculine event and to be overtly
- 4:00non-english during an American event, it's like, well, this is
- 4:04a masculine American event. This isn't a queer Spanish
- 4:06event. And I know that's offensive.
- 4:08And just let me say it was offensive to me as a
- 4:12heterosexual male American. And so, you know, you don't see
- 4:16this in other nations where they educate their citizens to hate
- 4:20their nation. Like right now in Iran, they're
- 4:22not trying to figure out, I don't know, you know, how to
- 4:25platform, you know, I don't know, Europe or Great Britain.
- 4:30They're not trying right now in Russia to figure out how during
- 4:33whatever their big sporting event is, how to have their
- 4:37entertainment, you know, platforming American values and
- 4:40speaking English. I mean, you know, once you start
- 4:43having pride in your nation, you start to undermine and cause the
- 4:47decline of your nation. And that's like sitting on a
- 4:51tree and sawing off the branch. You're sitting on it.
- 4:54It's stupid and it's self-destructive.
- 4:56Why is something like the NFL become so woke?
- 4:59Is it? Is it?
- 4:59Because of advertisers and it's all, it's all you just follow
- 5:02the money. And so you follow the money.
- 5:04And so the the woke agenda of certain companies is always
- 5:09promoting, you know, woke agenda through advertising.
- 5:14And so did the players want, you know, this?
- 5:17No. Do the consumers want it?
- 5:19Does the average guy sitting there drinking a Budweiser
- 5:22eating a chicken wings, you know, saying I hope the gay guy
- 5:25comes out in a dress and he's dancing to Spanish because I
- 5:28need me some of that. I doubt it, you know, well, he's
- 5:31got his chicken wings sitting on his gut because that's what he
- 5:34uses for his coffee table. I doubt it.
- 5:37Does the family sitting there watching it hope?
- 5:39Are they anticipating with with Glee that the child that they're
- 5:43watching it with would be exposed to that?
- 5:45No. So it comes from it comes from
- 5:47out of touch advertisers and companies that are out of touch
- 5:52with reality, but because they have money, they are forcing it
- 5:55onto consumers. Yeah, it's, it's majorly
- 5:59disappointing. And as a response to that, we
- 6:03saw Turning Point USA this year. Provide an alternative.
- 6:07They wanted to provide an alternative when they heard it
- 6:09was Bad Bunny and they heard that it was going to be in all
- 6:14Spanish because he said you need to learn Spanish to enjoy the
- 6:16show, which is like. We're in the United States of
- 6:19America. Yeah.
- 6:21If you if you know Spanish, that's fine, that's great.
- 6:25But since you're in the United States of America, learn
- 6:28English. Yeah, that's just like, just
- 6:30because we have pride in America doesn't mean we hate other
- 6:33countries. It's OK to have pride in your
- 6:35country. Your wife is trilingual.
- 6:38Yeah, she's yeah. She speaks Spanish, she speaks
- 6:41Portuguese, she speaks English. Great.
- 6:44It's awesome, but it doesn't make us love America less.
- 6:47And we shouldn't apologize for America either.
- 6:49Well, howdy Pastor Mark here, wanting to thank our partners at
- 6:52Gold Co for sponsoring the Mark Driscoll Show.

- 7:53So we saw A Turning Point, put together an awesome show, and
- 7:58wanted to turn it over to Andrew Clovette to tell us how it went.
- 8:01Andrew, I watched your show, was great.
- 8:03How did you do? Do you have a sense of how many
- 8:05people? Watched.
- 8:08Yeah, it was a kind of blew our minds actually a little bit,
- 8:12Brian. And we, you know, we saw at one
- 8:15point across all the different social channels, we saw over 10
- 8:18million concurrent views. So that was adding up all of
- 8:21Rumble and all of our partners just on the social side.
- 8:25So and now we, the numbers keep trickling in.
- 8:27I mean, right now as I'm sitting here, YouTube's numbers keep
- 8:31updating, keep updating. And so we're we're trying to put
- 8:34it all together. What I can safely say is that we
- 8:37are now over 20 million viewers across just social.
- 8:41So we haven't even gotten our, our partner broadcasters, their
- 8:45analytics. As you know, sometimes the
- 8:46ratings take a little while, but that's 20 million viewers and we
- 8:50don't know how many people were gathered together 3410 in a room
- 8:54watching together. So we're we're going to try and
- 8:56put our a final number on that when we can.
- 8:59What we can safely say is over 20 million Americans tuned into
- 9:03the All American Halftime Show tonight.
- 9:05And realistically, that's probably 40 to 60.
- 9:07Oh yeah, these are viewer parties, large groups.
- 9:09Yeah, I mean, in the church world, we count on about 2 1/2
- 9:13people per streamer for a church service.
- 9:16So this is bigger than a church service.
- 9:18Unfortunately, America celebrates sports a lot more
- 9:21than they do the church. But that's incredible.
- 9:24And why, why do you see the need for an alternative like that?
- 9:30Do you agree with what Turning Point did?
- 9:32Do you think it was helpful? Yeah, absolutely.
- 9:34And also this too, I know Andrew and I appreciate him.
- 9:38I love him. I like him.
- 9:39He's a he's a good man. And so I am grateful for the
- 9:43attempt that they made. And to do something like this,
- 9:46it takes a lot of courage and risk because if you have any
- 9:50technical difficulties, you're just lambasted online.
- 9:54If the response is not great, you're lambasted online.
- 9:58You're putting a lot of effort from your team and a lot of
- 10:01money into an experiment because in the history of an event like
- 10:06this, really nobody's gone up against Goliath.
- 10:09Nobody's really taken out their three smooth stones and said,
- 10:12I'm going to give it a shot. I mean, the halftime of the
- 10:15Super Bowl, that's your highest ad dollars.
- 10:18Nobody competes with it. Nobody even tries.
- 10:20So this took a lot of courage and this was an experiment.
- 10:24And so kudos to them for taking a run at it.
- 10:26I, I appreciate it and I, I value their effort.
- 10:29And it was wildly successful by any, you know, measurement.
- 10:33And so when you can peel away, I don't know what it is, you know,
- 10:3720% of the eyeballs or whatever it is.
- 10:40If I'm an advertiser or I am, you know, one of the major
- 10:45outlets distributing the game, I'm thinking that is a big loss
- 10:49of market share. You've just taken the ad dollars
- 10:52and you've taken the profitability and you've just
- 10:56cut into it. And what that does is, well,
- 10:58that encourages others to try and do the same.
- 11:01So now you're looking at competition in the market
- 11:04because? Next year we're going to see a
- 11:05lot more of these. My first thought, I mean, like,
- 11:09you know, we're not, we're not anywhere near the level of
- 11:12TPUSA. My first thought was how much of
- 11:14that market share can we go for? I mean, that was my first
- 11:16thought. It was like, well, if, if
- 11:18there's something there, let's go for it.
- 11:19I mean, and there's going to be others that are going to be
- 11:22thinking the same thing. And what could you do to provide
- 11:25family based, faith friendly content that would provide an
- 11:30alternative? And as you know, if you're
- 11:32evangelistic, you love Jesus, you want people to meet Christ,
- 11:36there's an opportunity here because there's a lot of
- 11:38eyeballs. So with culture getting darker
- 11:40and more woke and disgusting and the complete lack of pride in
- 11:45America, you believe Christian should engage more than just
- 11:49complaining, we should do something.
- 11:51Yeah, rather than just protesting, provide an
- 11:53alternative. And if it's a turd sandwich,
- 11:56make a different sandwich, yeah? Yeah, that's great.
- 11:59Yeah, I think, I think frustration with conservatives
- 12:03named Christians is we're we're quick to critique, but we don't
- 12:06do anything like that. The average church or pastor
- 12:09Christian, they, they want to complain on the Internet and get
- 12:12in the social media comments, but they don't want to do
- 12:14anything. And I think Turning Point did
- 12:16something. There is something and there's
- 12:17other conservative, you know, platforms that could do the
- 12:19same. There's Christian denominations
- 12:22that have the technology and have the wherewithal to do the
- 12:24same. There could be live streaming
- 12:27worship events, there could be instead of commercials, there
- 12:31could be actually evangelistic presentations.
- 12:35There could be interesting documentary films that are
- 12:38played. There could be all kinds of
- 12:39different media. And wouldn't it be great even if
- 12:43the Christians were able to pull together a menu of options to
- 12:48where you had some sort of, you know, super place, almost like
- 12:53going to a Netflix. We've got a lot of options.
- 12:56And they were all faith-based and Christ centered and, and
- 12:59whatever you got was better than what was being offered.
- 13:02And I think it was 20. It's been 20 plus years since
- 13:05country music was platformed at the Super Bowl.
- 13:10And it's like they've sort of cut out the one genre that is
- 13:13pro America, pro faith, pro family, pro freedom, the one
- 13:17genre that still talks about Christ.
- 13:19You're not going to get that in rap, you're not going to get
- 13:22that in cop. And so it seems to me like there
- 13:25is a profound bias and and it hates its own market.
- 13:30That's what's so weird to me. Like we saw Post Malone this
- 13:32year, Morgan Wall and all these guys blown up number one hits.
- 13:35They're driving old trucks and they're singing about America
- 13:38and. And Jesus like, like Morgan
- 13:40Wallin is talking about Jesus. And he, I know for a fact, like
- 13:44Morgan Wallin and certain country stars, they're getting
- 13:47trained in deep end of the pool Bible teaching.
- 13:51And I, I know who's training them.
- 13:53I know for a fact. And so some of these people are
- 13:56not just token Christians, they're they're deepening their
- 13:59faith. Yeah, 100%.
- 14:01And we saw that actually at the Turning Point viewing at the at
- 14:07the concert. And we're going to roll that
- 14:09clip of Kid Rock getting up and he changed the lyrics of the
- 14:13song till you can't. When you would, if you would
- 14:16have told me Kid Rock is going to be talking about Jesus, I
- 14:21would have thought the end of the world is officially coming.
- 14:24Jesus is already back. We could be close.
- 14:28Well, Sunday morning all So Jesus is starting to be a
- 15:32little trendy. And so I've been in this long
- 15:36enough dealing with politicians, business leaders, entertainments
- 15:40and athletes. Sometimes it's just tokenism and
- 15:45it is just manufactured branding.
- 15:51I've met some people who I thought were devout Christians
- 15:53and once I got to know them, it, it was nothing but just branding
- 15:57and marketing. It was, it was fakery and
- 16:00forgery and, and who they presented themselves to be
- 16:03publicly is not who they were privately.
- 16:06And and that's disingenuous. And that's what happens when
- 16:10Christianity or Christ starts to become more popular.
- 16:14In addition, there are some people that are saved, meet
- 16:18Jesus born again and they're kind of shocking and you
- 16:22wouldn't have anticipated that Jesus was going to pick them for
- 16:24the team. And as soon as they get saved,
- 16:27there are people that that are continually going back to their
- 16:30past and saying, but they said this or they did that.
- 16:33Therefore how could they possibly speak for Jesus?
- 16:35Well, the whole point of Christianity is you're forgiven
- 16:39for your sin and you repent of your sin and you get a new life
- 16:43in Christ, which means your old life was bad and wrong.
- 16:48Yeah, and we see conversions like Paul's, and I think most of
- 16:52the church would reject Paul full stop.
- 16:54How could he come and preach? He murdered a guy who was a
- 16:56leader in a church. Yeah.
- 16:58Who would that be like today if they got converted, I mean.
- 17:01It would be like a jihadist. Yeah, it would be like a
- 17:03terrorist. And he wrote like a good
- 17:07majority of the Bible. Yeah, he's the number one by
- 17:09sheer number of books contributed to the New
- 17:11Testament. But he he was a murderer.
- 17:14So this would be like a jihadist or a terrorist.
- 17:16And so you know, what happens sometimes is it's like, well,
- 17:19you know, like Jelly Roll right now is a he's a wild,
- 17:22fascinating journey. I mean, he starts off as an
- 17:25obese guy married to a prostitute, you know, who is not
- 17:31a believer. And then we're all watching his
- 17:34journey and early on, you've got like some faith-based elements
- 17:39to his songs and some sort of echoes of Christianity.
- 17:43And now he's like overtly talking about Jesus.
- 17:47And we're seeing him get physically and spiritually and
- 17:50mentally and emotionally more healthy before our very eyes.
- 17:55Like we're seeing we're seeing his salvation process as a whole
- 17:59total person. And everybody's watching it, and
- 18:02it's radical and he attributes it to Jesus Christ.
- 18:06Yeah, there's a beauty in it. There's a genuineness about it.
- 18:09You're like, I can see that something happened to this guy
- 18:12for sure, because he's literally half the man that he used to be.
- 18:15He's. 1/2 a Jelly roll. Yeah, I can't handle the name.
- 18:18Yeah. We got to get him a new a new
- 18:20name, yeah. Protein bar.
- 18:23Yeah, we got to get him a new name.
- 18:25But but when? But but isn't it beautiful
- 18:27though, that Jesus would take a guy who has so much attention
- 18:33and then we get to watch the transformation and we get to see
- 18:39God do his work in and through a man.
- 18:42And in the end you're like, I'm so I'm so happy for him.
- 18:46I'm so happy for his family. I'm so happy for his daughter.
- 18:50And I hope that other people that sort of identify with him
- 18:54with addiction or trauma or incarceration or, and in some
- 18:59way he was self destructing. I hope that they they follow in
- 19:03his example and I hope they experienced the same sort of
- 19:06life in Christ that he is. But you could also look at him
- 19:10and be like, well, he was in prison and he was a glutton and
- 19:13he was married to a prostitute and, and we could just shame the
- 19:16rest of his life. It's like, no, by all accounts,
- 19:20he's met Jesus and he's a new man and he gets a new future and
- 19:23he's got a new identity. So, you know, those religious
- 19:26people who would be throwing stones because of the past,
- 19:29they, they don't realize that sometimes being self-righteous
- 19:32and religious and proud, those are the worst sins of all.
- 19:36So has Kid Rock met Jesus? I don't know, but could he?
- 19:40Sure. I mean, Jesus can save anybody,
- 19:43save me. I wake up every day, I look in
- 19:45the mirror and I'm like, I'm shocked that this guy's on the
- 19:47team. Yeah, and so that all came to
- 19:51him, the song at least post Charlie Kirk's assassination.
- 19:56And so we're almost I guess we're just about 6 months out
- 19:59from the horrific event that took took a good friend and
- 20:05we're seeing some men still activated.
- 20:07And I think there's that initial everyone's like revival and
- 20:10there's this wave of people getting saved and guys getting
- 20:14activated and talking about their faith.
- 20:15Six months later, it's pretty good to still be.
- 20:19All right. In the wake of that, we're still
- 20:20getting activated, we're still showing up.
- 20:22And are you seeing much of that in in the church, at your church
- 20:27in culture right now? Yeah.
- 20:29I mean, so with anything, there's always a surge.
- 20:33And then the question is, is the surge sustained?
- 20:37And, and what we're seeing at least at Trinity, especially in
- 20:41the men's ministry is, yeah, it's overflowing.
- 20:44I need more space. That's why we're going to build
- 20:46out, as you know, a new building.
- 20:48Part of the problem is for a lot of young men who were activated
- 20:52by Charlie. And honestly, I still, I still
- 20:56get choked up. I still bothers me.
- 20:58I was at AI, was at AI, was at a burger joint with Grace.
- 21:04We're standing in line to order a burger.
- 21:05And there was a couple and there was a grandma and a mom and a
- 21:09grandchild in front of us and they, they podcast and they said
- 21:13hi, they were from out of state. And she took out her credit card
- 21:15to buy her burger and had Charlie's face on it.
- 21:18And it said, I am Charlie. I just, I started choking up
- 21:21like I, I love him. I miss him.
- 21:24He's irreplaceable. But for a lot of the young men
- 21:29who were activated by Charlie, they were, they had a hard time
- 21:32finding a church because the pastors were soft and they were
- 21:37weak and they were soft woke, and they wouldn't talk about
- 21:41Charlie's death and they won't talk about cultural or political
- 21:44issues. So there was a lot of young men
- 21:47who were activated, but they couldn't find a home.
- 21:50And so for a lot of those men, they're struggling because
- 21:54there's not a place for them. And so, you know, shame on the
- 21:58churches that the men showed up and they're like, OK, pastor,
- 22:02they shot my Big Brother. What do you have to say about
- 22:04that? And the pastor's like, I don't
- 22:06do controversy or conflict. It's like.
- 22:09Well, it's divisive. Then you're not a man because
- 22:12men do controversy and conflict and and saying, hey, we love our
- 22:17brother who was martyred and murdered and we're praying for
- 22:19his family. That's not controversial at all.
- 22:22That's just Christianity one-on-one.
- 22:24Yeah, yeah, it feels like at least in the Valley here in
- 22:27Arizona, there's there's only been a couple churches, one of
- 22:31them Ryan Visconti that that that search happened in the
- 22:34growth sustained because they were they were met with
- 22:36courageous Bible teaching in a man so trained.
- 22:39Leadership. Ryan Visconti So yeah, it's,
- 22:42it's good to see men lead, but there shouldn't be stronger men
- 22:45out in culture than within the church.
- 22:48And, and you bring it up and, and Ryan's awesome, by the way,
- 22:50but it is wild when at, you know, Charlie's memorial, you
- 22:54see political leaders proclaiming Christ.
- 22:57And now you're seeing entertainers proclaiming Christ,
- 23:01sometimes with more courage and clarity than pastors and
- 23:05pulpits. And that's rather wild.
- 23:09That's rather wild. But could it be that God is
- 23:12bypassing the pulpits because the men there, they just lack
- 23:16the testicular fortitude to do the job?
- 23:18Yep. I, I think you may be completely
- 23:21correct and you talked about it a couple weeks ago, just the
- 23:25fear of the Lord and how important it is.
- 23:27And I think a lot of pastors have No Fear of the Lord, and
- 23:30they're more fearful of the people on their border and their
- 23:32congregation than actually pleasing the Lord and everyone's
- 23:35welcome but the Lord in their church.
- 23:38Well, and honestly, what I'm seeing is most people are to the
- 23:42right of their pastor in the church and most people, they're
- 23:47not going to oppose their pastor for being a courageous leader.
- 23:52They want a courageous leader. They are longing for a
- 23:56courageous leader. To me, it's just like most
- 23:59Christian wives are like, I wish my husband would lead like it's
- 24:04not like she's going to like I'm going to fight him.
- 24:06She's like, please, please lead this family.
- 24:10Please have convictions, please have courage, please have a
- 24:14backbone. Please be a freaking man.
- 24:16Most Christian women aren't going to fight their husband and
- 24:19most congregants aren't going to fight their pastor.
- 24:22That's what they're wanting. Well, Pastor Mark here wanting
- 24:25to thank our partners at Gold Co for helping sponsor the Mark

- 25:28Speaking of fighting, Pastor Mark, the opening ceremonies of
- 25:32the Olympics happened. I know you really wanted to make
- 25:34that transition. Yep.
- 25:36And by the way, we don't use the word transition here.
- 25:41Segway, Yeah. So we saw the opening ceremonies
- 25:45of the Olympics and honestly a huge step up from last year, no?
- 25:49No queer the last time we had the Queer Last Supper.
- 25:52It was very demonic and disgusting.
- 25:55Completely blasphemous. It was and it was very hard to
- 25:58watch without throwing up. It was much better this year.
- 26:01There was art and it was in Italy, and my wife really
- 26:06appreciated it and I watched with her.
- 26:09So, but there's a lot of protest violence happening in Italy as a
- 26:14result of like, allowing Israel to participate in the Olympics,
- 26:18while countries like Russia are not.
- 26:21So we want to roll a clip of what is happening there.
- 27:12Yeah, so this, the only way this would fly is on the 4th of July
- 27:16in America. If that was happening in our
- 27:18streets, feels like it would get handled.
- 27:22Well, so this is all theater. So part of this is this is the
- 27:26social media theater. And so they're doing it at
- 27:32night, and they're doing it for the camera.
- 27:35So this is all theater and this is all fireworks.
- 27:39I mean, you know, if you're just an average person, you're like,
- 27:41oh, my gosh, this looks like Armageddon.
- 27:43These are fireworks. Now, fireworks are still
- 27:46dangerous. You can hurt people.
- 27:47But this is not the same as active, you know, gunfire.
- 27:50These are not 50 caliber rounds. But yeah, you pull this off in
- 27:55America. I mean, cops are not going to
- 27:59endure this. No.
- 28:01But if what this goes to show is this is what the streets of
- 28:06America will look like if we don't enforce law and order, if
- 28:11you just let Minneapolis go, if you let Portland go, if you let
- 28:15Seattle go, this is what it looks like.
- 28:18And the question is, how many families are going to live
- 28:21there? Yeah.
- 28:23How many sane human beings are going to live there?
- 28:26They're going to empty out. And you know, who wants to have
- 28:30major urban centers in America look like this?
- 28:33And this is what it looks like. Because evil never stops itself.
- 28:37And so if you don't stop it, it escalates.
- 28:40But this is, it is a it is a reprehensible thing when it it
- 28:45is like Israel has no right to exist or be in the Olympics.
- 28:50I mean this we used to call it anti-Semitism.
- 28:52Now they call it anti Zionism. It's just anti-Semitism
- 28:56rebranded. Yeah, yeah.
- 28:58It's, it just feels like, yeah, the the answer to the left is
- 29:03just to violently protest wherever they disagree with.
- 29:07It's just, yeah, they hate countries they hate.
- 29:10They want to be very exclusive, but they hate when we're
- 29:13exclusive. So it it, it none of it really
- 29:16makes very much sense. We're seeing quite a bit of it
- 29:20there. And probably the grosser thing,
- 29:22and I think the bigger discussion at the at the
- 29:25Olympics right now is just the lack of pride in our country.
- 29:28In America. We're seeing all of the athletes
- 29:32actually denounce America and apologize for America and JD
- 29:37Vance and his wife were were met with loud boos there and people
- 29:41just very disrespectful to the US and we're going to roll, roll
- 29:45one of the clips of the USA skiing team and what they had to
- 29:50say. I feel heartbroken about what's
- 29:53happened in the United States when in, you know, I'm pretty
- 29:56sure you're referencing ICE and some of the protests and things
- 29:58like that. I think that as a country, we
- 30:02need to focus on respecting everybody's rights and making
- 30:06sure that we're treating our citizens as well as anybody with
- 30:09love and respect. And I hope that when people look
- 30:13at athletes compete in the Olympics, they realize that
- 30:16that's the America that we're trying to represent.
- 30:18It brings up mixed emotions to represent the US right now.
- 30:21I think it's a little hard, and there's obviously a lot going on
- 30:26that I'm not the biggest fan of, and I think a lot of people
- 30:28aren't. If it aligns with my moral
- 30:31values, I feel like I'm representing it.
- 30:34Just because I'm wearing the flag doesn't mean I represent
- 30:36everything that's going on in the US So yeah, I just kind of
- 30:40want to do it for my friends and my family and the people that
- 30:42support me getting here. So the entire point of the
- 30:46Olympics is nationalism. I know different people from
- 30:51different nations competing to represent their nation.
- 30:55That's the that's the point of the Olympics.
- 30:57It's nationalism. This is the bankruptcy of
- 31:02Western education. We're one of the few nations
- 31:05that actually doesn't teach our children our history.
- 31:10And when we do teach it, we teach it in such a way that they
- 31:14hate their nation and history. We stole this land, Yeah.
- 31:18We're not proud of it at all. I mean, I feel like guys like
- 31:21that should get taken out behind a bar in a shot.
- 31:24Well, how about at least sign? You know, I, I, I pledge to love
- 31:29and serve my country and at the very least, if I win the medal,
- 31:34I will shut up. That is like.
- 31:37I because there's in the world there's positive negatives and
- 31:40neutrals the, you know, so there's this continuum.
- 31:43If you can't be positive, at least be neutral and at the very
- 31:47least don't be negative because you know, as far as negative
- 31:51goes, like Iran, China, North Korea, Russia, like negative is
- 31:56covered. We don't need, we don't need you
- 31:58to wear the flag and be negative.
- 31:59We have that covered. At least be neutral and just
- 32:02shut up. But part of it is to just
- 32:06because you're a subject matter expert in one lane doesn't mean
- 32:09you are in another. This is why your mechanic also
- 32:13isn't your doctor. You know I'm saying your
- 32:17accountant isn't also your surgeon.
- 32:20So just because you're a good ski jumper doesn't mean you're
- 32:23good at understanding. I don't know law enforcement.
- 32:27Yeah, I mean, these guys like if you, if you made it to the
- 32:29Olympics, your your family has invested everything in you your
- 32:33entire life. And I just looked him up.
- 32:35He's from Bend, OR His mom started him in skiing lessons
- 32:39when he was three. They moved to Salt Lake City for
- 32:42his skiing career as a child. So they're very wealthy family
- 32:46and just American wealth poured into a child so that he can have
- 32:51the privilege to play games for a living.
- 32:55Yeah. And you're going to complain
- 32:56about America. Yeah.
- 32:57You're in the land of the free. Like go go live somewhere else
- 33:00and figure this out. Well, and, and at the end of the
- 33:03day, do you really, do you really think that a guy in his
- 33:06early 20s who spent his entire life in white neighborhoods with
- 33:12ski slopes getting lessons that are highly expensive,
- 33:17understands the political events that are going on with illegal
- 33:22immigration in urban neighborhoods that are being
- 33:25overtaken by cartels and drug leaders?
- 33:28No, because I'll tell you right now, Trenda Wagwa is not running
- 33:31things on the slopes in Utah. No, it's very safe and there's a
- 33:37lot of security and. Yeah, no, everybody there is
- 33:40white and off white. Those are.
- 33:42Those are your. Bend, OR Yeah.
- 33:44Salt Lake City, Yeah. I mean, so that's what I'm
- 33:46saying like you, you live a very privileged lifestyle and then
- 33:50you have a lot of opinions on things that you don't actually
- 33:53ever have to deal with. And, and this is, this is the
- 33:57problem in America is we don't teach people the actual history
- 34:03of the country. And that is that it was pilgrims
- 34:05and it was Puritans who came here as a, an experiment in
- 34:08religious freedom. We actually don't teach people
- 34:11that a lot of the founding principles like our, our rights
- 34:15come from our creator. They come from God, not our
- 34:17government. That we have religious freedom,
- 34:20we have freedom of assembly, we have freedom of speech.
- 34:23We, we have, we have an amendment to protect those by
- 34:26bearing arms to, to defend ourselves when the government
- 34:30raises up in a tyrannical way. That that all of what is, is an
- 34:34experiment that the rest of the world does not enjoy.
- 34:38And if you've traveled the world, I've been to a couple
- 34:41dozen countries, it's not like this.
- 34:45The prosperity is not there, the freedom is not there.
- 34:48And even the ability to get on television and speak negatively
- 34:52against your nation, if you do that, in most nations, the
- 34:56government, they mercerate you. For sure they.
- 35:00Make a public example of you. I mean, if you do that in Iran,
- 35:04if you do that, I mean, if you do that in Iran, they hang you
- 35:06off a bridge if you. Take an example of.
- 35:08Regime. They make an example of you if
- 35:10you do that in Russia. They make a public example of
- 35:13you if you do that in North Korea.
- 35:15They make a public example of you in a lot of the nations, if
- 35:18you speak out against the government, you you are you are
- 35:23treated as as a traitor, committing treason against the.
- 35:26Gun that's how I felt when I watched it and it's probably too
- 35:28extreme to say take him out behind a barn.
- 35:30But like to hate your country and to be representing it.
- 35:34There's soldiers dying yes, for your freedom to do that right
- 35:38now and you're as much of A representative as they are and
- 35:41they don't get a microphone to talk about it.
- 35:43You do and that's it's, it's reprehensible to come after a
- 35:47nation that the only reason you can do what you do is because of
- 35:52the people that are dying for your freedom and protecting the
- 35:55borders. And yeah, bend OR you don't
- 35:58really get it, but you're not. If you're in Portland, you'd
- 36:01actually feel unsafe because there's riots and a lot of
- 36:04illegals living there and they protect them over the the
- 36:07citizens. Yeah, and, and let's be honest,
- 36:10of the, you know, 10 + 1,000,000 people that enter the country
- 36:12illegally during the Biden administration, let's say, yeah,
- 36:16there was some decent people that could be good citizens.
- 36:19Great. Then get in line, apply and come
- 36:21into the country legally and add value.
- 36:23But in addition, there's, you know, 300,000 children that are
- 36:27minors that are missing. We have no idea what happened to
- 36:30them. If we could find some of them
- 36:31and rescue them from slavery or sex trafficking.
- 36:34Let's please try and do so. In addition, there are a lot of
- 36:38criminal actors, cartel members. There are drug dealers and sex
- 36:42traffickers and could we please remove them from the country as
- 36:46soon as possible because they are dangerous and deadly and
- 36:50they are a net loss. And then there are some people
- 36:52that are coming into the country that are complete criminals and
- 36:56they are just trying to game the system.
- 36:58We have gotten a clear picture of what that looks like in
- 37:01Minneapolis. And this is just the beginning
- 37:04of the unfolding of all of the fraud.
- 37:06And the question is, is that do we not have a right to say, hey,
- 37:10if you're going to come into the country illegally with the
- 37:12express intent of committing fraud and taking dollars from
- 37:16those who are hard working citizens, Do we not have a right
- 37:20as a nation to say you need to now be arrested and deported
- 37:24because what you are is you are a threat to the well-being in
- 37:28the future of our entire nation? And then to say, you know, I
- 37:32don't like everything that is going on.
- 37:34What do you, what do you not like?
- 37:35Do you not like all the fraud in Minneapolis?
- 37:36Do you not like all the fentanyl?
- 37:38Do you not like the sex trafficking?
- 37:39Do you not like the 600 people that were arrested in a major
- 37:43sex trafficking sting operation in LA last week, many of which
- 37:47were children and minors? Some under the age of 14.
- 37:50What do you not like? Well, and I don't like yeah, the
- 37:55the the guy that's saying that is walking around with the
- 37:57security team like you, you. In a white puffy jacket and he's
- 38:02got somebody else cooking his meals at an Olympic village
- 38:06while everyone takes his photo. And the only skill you have is
- 38:09knowing how to ski. If the end of the world comes,
- 38:12you're not going to be very helpful.
- 38:14Yeah, it it feels like a lot of privilege.
- 38:16And I, I think you're nailing it and it it's disgusting.
- 38:21And one of the guys, he said if you can't represent the flag
- 38:25hand in the jersey, you don't get a platform and reject what
- 38:28it gives you like. You get all the benefits of
- 38:31America and then you get to be a critic of it.
- 38:34I I don't think we see a lot of nations doing that to
- 38:36themselves. We're we're cannibalizing
- 38:37ourselves. This is like a trust fund kid
- 38:39who then cashes in their dad's check and spends their time
- 38:43criticizing their dad. Well, they're not working.
- 38:46It's like, well, either criticize your dad or take his
- 38:48money, but don't do both. Yeah.
- 38:50So what's the solution for young men?
- 38:52Like, it just feels like we need to do something.
- 38:54Young men need to get activated for first their faith and then
- 38:57they're for the Lord. Well, for the Lord and then for
- 39:01the country to be, to be patriots.
- 39:04And where, where do you stand on being a patriot?
- 39:07Are you? Are you proud to be an American?
- 39:08The older I get, the more proud I am, and the more I've traveled
- 39:11the world, the more grateful I am.
- 39:13And the more I study the founding of the nation and the
- 39:16principles it was founded on and the people it was founded by,
- 39:20the more I realized not everybody was a Christian.
- 39:22But the principles are deeply influenced by the basic
- 39:26principles of the Scriptures. Like I'm in the 10 commandments
- 39:29right now and private property ownership.
- 39:32Thou shalt not steal. That means the government
- 39:33doesn't own everything. Basic principles from the Bible,
- 39:39they are undergirding what were the framers intent of the
- 39:44creation of the nation. And you can't deny that.
- 39:46You just can't. I mean, and at the end of the
- 39:49day, there is no perfect government because even if you
- 39:51have a perfect system, it's going to be implemented by
- 39:54imperfect people. And so you can sit back all day
- 39:57and you can critique the system or you can involve yourself in
- 40:01it to try and improve it. And and it's easy to sit back
- 40:04and to critique and it's hard to get involved.
- 40:06But I would say for young men. Invest yourself in doing the
- 40:11best you can for your family and your legacy and your kids and
- 40:15your grandkids. And if you are worshipping God,
- 40:18you are working your job. You're trying to build
- 40:20generational legacy and wealth. You're staying faithful to your
- 40:24wife. You're investing in your
- 40:25children. You're raising them up to love
- 40:27and serve God. At the end of the day, you and
- 40:30your family are going to be positive contributors to your
- 40:33nation and as a result, your legacy is going to be blessed by
- 40:39God. And to me, the best way to be a
- 40:43nationalist is to worship Jesus Christ and to obey the Bible.
- 40:47And you'll be a blessing to your nation and you'll be a
- 40:50contributor to future generations for your nation.
- 40:53Yeah, 100 percent, 100%. I think young men need to solve
- 40:57problems. I was reading about 5
- 41:00generations ago in my family, there was someone named Sam and
- 41:03P Chase. And he, he ended up putting the
- 41:07entire currency system together and that's why and God we trust
- 41:10is on all the bills. So he was the son of a minister
- 41:13and he was just so he really hated slavery.
- 41:17He was trying to go on the road and just speak and try to
- 41:21advocate against where the nation was at that point.
- 41:26And he went and got a law degree, had great mentors, grew
- 41:30in his faith. He never missed Sunday at
- 41:32church. But he went out and did
- 41:34something and fixed something. And the currency system was
- 41:36completely broken. So he wanted to be president.
- 41:38He ran for president two or three times, never made it.
- 41:41And Abraham Lincoln actually put him in as secretary treasurer
- 41:43because the currency system was just broken.
- 41:46So he jumped in and solved a problem and was able to
- 41:50influence a lot and actually help with the slavery issue in
- 41:54in America at that time. But I think we underestimate how
- 41:58much just being faithful to our Lord and helping solve problems
- 42:02can be over the long term, and I'm grateful.
- 42:04I bet he didn't realize that a couple 100 years later we we'd
- 42:08still have those bills with in God we trust on it.
- 42:10Yeah, that's a that is a cool story.
- 42:14So at some point, yeah, that's got to be all captured for Indy
- 42:18and for your kids now, grandkids, there's got to be a
- 42:20little documentary, something about.
- 42:21That if they ever try to remove and God we trust, we're going to
- 42:24have to go to war. We're going.
- 42:25To have to go to war for that. Yeah, yeah, it's a it's a cool
- 42:28piece of history. I'm I'm reading his biography
- 42:30right now. Just came out.
- 42:31Just is cool. But that's what I love about
- 42:34Abraham Lincoln. He surrounded himself with
- 42:36people that actually ran against him, but they had good ideas.
- 42:38So is the books called Team Arrivals?
- 42:41I've got that book, yeah. Yeah, so very cool, but I think
- 42:45young men just need to solve problems and stop talking about
- 42:47them. And it's easy to critique what
- 42:49other people are doing. It's really hard to do things.
- 42:54As like all the liberal young women and and some men online
- 42:58getting mad at ice. Well, what's your solution?
- 43:00Yeah. What what, what would you like
- 43:02to do with cartels? Yeah, solve that problem, Yeah,
- 43:06because look at the evil. Dealing with cartels on X is a
- 43:10lot easier than dealing with cartels on streets.
- 43:14Yeah, yeah. It's like everyone's mad about
- 43:16what happened in Venezuela. No, it's excellent.
- 43:20Those people are liberated. Ashley used to teach refugees
- 43:22from Venezuela, and they're thrilled that they're.
- 43:25Very happy. We've never lived under a
- 43:28dictator. People call Trump a dictator.
- 43:30No, if he was a dictator, that guy would lose his head for
- 43:33saying that about US1. Way you know a guy is not a
- 43:35dictator is you call him a dictator and you're still
- 43:37breathing. Exactly.
- 43:39You ridicule your nation on live TV and you're still able to ski
- 43:43the next day. Yeah, we are giving away a truck
- 43:47AK-5 Blazer and it ends this month.
- 43:52If you text truck to 99383, we will send you a link to get into
- 43:58the giveaway. So I think that's that's a good
- 44:00place to end the Olympics. Another thing that came out of
- 44:04the Super Bowl, obviously there's lots of ads and
- 44:07commercials and very cool to see a pro-life adoption ad role and
- 44:13wanted to show you that and kind of get your take on it.
- 44:39I know you envisioned things differently.
- 44:47They're telling you that you've only got 2 choices, but the
- 44:52truth is there's three. Are these options difficult?
- 45:01Of course they are, but you deserve to know.
- 45:12Adoption is an option. We got very polarized.
- 45:18Right now it's either pro-life, pro-choice, killing babies,
- 45:23saving babies. What do you think about the the
- 45:26third option? It's beautiful.
- 45:27And I think even from a branding standpoint, adoption is an
- 45:30option. I think that's really clever.
- 45:33I appreciate the tone of it, and it appeals to the young woman
- 45:37who's in a difficult place. And we know statistically, if a
- 45:41woman sees the child, you know, through an ultrasound, she tends
- 45:46to want to have the child because she sees this is
- 45:48actually a human life. And statistically, if the father
- 45:51raises his hand and says, I want to help raise this baby, she has
- 45:55the baby. So, So for many women, if
- 45:59they're able to see the baby and, or have support for the
- 46:01baby, they're willing to choose life for the baby.
- 46:04And so, yeah, I mean, I, I think it's great because it, it gives
- 46:08some empathy, some compassion, some some support to a young
- 46:12woman who's got a difficult choice to make, at least in her
- 46:15understanding in my as a pro-life man, like there is no
- 46:19choice. You choose life.
- 46:22And for as a Christian, Christians really pioneered
- 46:25adoption. So in the early Roman Empire,
- 46:27the days of the New Testament, infanticide was incredibly
- 46:30common. If you had a child with any
- 46:33birth defect, you would literally put them out with the
- 46:35garbage. I mean, and girls were less
- 46:39desirable than boys because boys could go, you know, grow up and
- 46:43work in the farm or the business.
- 46:45And so it was very common for children to be left out with the
- 46:49trash. And then the most despicable
- 46:51people would come along and they would pick up those children.
- 46:53And a lot of those sons were raised to be slaves or
- 46:56gladiators. A lot of those girls were raised
- 46:59to be prostitutes. Just horrifying.
- 47:02And so it was the Christians who started taking these children
- 47:07into adoption and raising these children.
- 47:09And so Christians really pioneered adoption in the early
- 47:13Roman Empire, in the days of the New Testament.
- 47:15And part of that is based upon two things.
- 47:19Jesus Christ was adopted. So Jesus has a biological mother
- 47:24and Mary, but he does not have a biological father.
- 47:27And so Joseph becomes his adoptive father.
- 47:31And so technically God came to the earth and he was adopted.
- 47:35So the adoption of Jesus Christ by Joseph sets in motion for the
- 47:40Christian that adoption is this incredibly noble high calling in
- 47:45ministry. In addition, the language of the
- 47:48Bible, particularly in Romans and Galatians, is that God is a
- 47:52father, Jesus is a Big Brother, and Christianity is being
- 47:56adopted into the family of God, the church.
- 47:59And so all Christians see ourselves as adopted.
- 48:03Nobody is born into God's family.
- 48:05We're all born as sinners and we need to be adopted into God's
- 48:10family. And we're we're adopted into
- 48:13God's family because God's a father who chooses to adopt us
- 48:17into his family. So the whole language of the
- 48:19gospel is 1 of adoption. So for Christians, adoption is
- 48:24it should be an absolute, you know, hand in glove fit for
- 48:28Christian worldview and belief. And so and so for us, it should
- 48:34be very easy to say, I can, I can love an adopted child just
- 48:37like I would love a biological child because the gospel of
- 48:41Jesus Christ and the example of Jesus Christ compels me to.
- 48:44And so, yeah, I love this. And and there's people too that
- 48:48they struggle with infertility. There's people that want to have
- 48:52children but have been unable to do so.
- 48:54And so it provides opportunity for family for those who
- 48:59otherwise may not have that opportunity.
- 49:01And yeah, so I, I think it's beautiful.
- 49:03I think it's wonderful. I, I love the tone of it and I
- 49:07appreciate the bravery of just sticking your neck out because
- 49:10on this issue you could get grief perhaps from both sides,
- 49:14but it takes a lot of courage. So I, I'm, I'm grateful for it.
- 49:17Yeah. And it's, it's a, it's a very,
- 49:19it is very clever marketing and branding around it because it is
- 49:231/3 option, but it is very much a life option like.
- 49:27It is a pro-life option. It's a very pro-life one, but
- 49:29they're branding themselves to something in the middle, which
- 49:31is very helpful for the young woman making the decision of
- 49:34like, OK, I either have to kill the baby or keep the baby.
- 49:37And it's like, well, no, there, there are people out there that,
- 49:41yeah, like you said, our struggle with infertility and
- 49:44want, want to have, want to have a child.
- 49:47We had, my little brother was adopted from Korea and I can't
- 49:52imagine not having him as a little brother.
- 49:54And he is, he's a blessing. And Romans, we're we're all
- 49:57adopted as sons. And yeah, so you, you, you would
- 50:01say for a Christian it is a noble and good thing to adopt A
- 50:05child. Yes, but I would say as well
- 50:09don't do it because it's faddish or it seems interesting or it's
- 50:13a fleeting, you know, interest. It's not a pat.
- 50:18This is a lifelong commitment and you need to be called of God
- 50:22and you need to be willing to be committed to it because
- 50:26sometimes when you, you know, receive a child, you don't know
- 50:29what their background is. Maybe you don't know what their
- 50:31genetics are. They may have a medical
- 50:34condition you're unaware of. They may have experienced some
- 50:36trauma or abuse that you're unaware of.
- 50:38You, you may not know what you're getting with this child.
- 50:42But once you adopt that child, you're their parent and you are
- 50:46committed. You need to be committed to them
- 50:48as you would be committed to a biological child.
- 50:51Otherwise you bring that child into your home.
- 50:54Then you realize this is a lot of work.
- 50:56And again, some people treat them like pets, and they're
- 50:58like, well, this is a lot more than I was bargaining for.
- 51:01Yeah, now that child is perhaps bonded with you.
- 51:04You've not bonded with them. They bonded with siblings.
- 51:07Now they've got aunts and uncles and cousins and grandparents.
- 51:10And it's like if you're going to commit to it, you need to be
- 51:13100% committed for the rest of your life to being devoted to
- 51:17that child. Otherwise, don't start something
- 51:20you don't plan on finishing. And I, and I've tragically seen
- 51:24that on some occasions. Yeah, there's, I think in the in
- 51:27the the boomer Christian religious world, there's a lot
- 51:31of people that adopt children. They feel a moment of guilt or
- 51:35it is a fad. It is movies like Blind Side
- 51:38come out and it's like, oh, I should be able to do good.
- 51:41And if you weren't called to it, you have no business being
- 51:43there. And if God calls you to it and
- 51:44he blesses it, it's incredible. We know a lot of families that
- 51:48have adopted kids and you wouldn't know that that wasn't
- 51:51that wasn't their kid. It's super interesting.
- 51:55CBO projects that by 2033, annual deaths in the US will
- 51:59exceed annual births. So a lot of Christians are
- 52:03asking adoption and all this stuff.
- 52:05Does it fulfill the mandate to go forth and multiply like
- 52:10adoption and and what should the Christian be doing?
- 52:12Should the Christian have a lot of kids with the world getting
- 52:14so dark? Yeah.
- 52:15So what happens is whoever has children owns the future.
- 52:24It really is a, it is a population game.
- 52:27Whoever puts people in the future controls the future.
- 52:32That's why people who are transgender, gay, they're trying
- 52:36to convert your children because they can't make any children.
- 52:41So that's why they want to get into government schools and
- 52:43entertainment and they want to brainwash your children.
- 52:48And so they can't make any children.
- 52:50So they're trying to convert your children.
- 52:52And so the the one group that is trying to rule the future by
- 52:57putting people in the future is the Muslims.
- 53:00And that's what's hilarious to me about the Muslims and Islam
- 53:02being so aligned with the left right now.
- 53:04They're just Co opting and using stupid emotional people because
- 53:08they're putting people in the future.
- 53:10But they love this whole America stop putting people in the
- 53:13future thing. Oh, yeah.
- 53:15They're like, hey, if you, you know, if you useful idiots can
- 53:18go in and deconstruct, you know, Western values, you know, you're
- 53:24all a cul-de-sac of reproduction, you're not going
- 53:28anywhere, Then what we will do is we will eat, you know, we'll
- 53:31have 10 kids and we'll all raise them to be, you know, jihadists
- 53:36and we'll put them in the future and we will rule because you
- 53:40won't be there. And so it makes sense, like
- 53:44you're using the progressives to deconstruct Western civilization
- 53:49and then you will rule the future.
- 53:51I mean, it, it's, it's brilliant and it's simple.
- 53:54But if you go to places like Berlin, like when I was there,
- 53:58it's, I mean, it's, it's Burgas everywhere.
- 54:00It's wild. It's, it's, it's high and it's
- 54:03large families that are Muslim and, and, and they're not really
- 54:08training their boys. They're not really disciplining
- 54:10their boys. These boys are pretty, pretty
- 54:13wild. They're a bit feral.
- 54:15They kind of do what they want. Same thing is happening in
- 54:18France. Same thing is happening in
- 54:20Dearborn, MI. I mean, you're starting to see
- 54:23some even pockets in America where the future looks like it
- 54:28is going to be controlled by people that have a worldview
- 54:32based upon Islam that is completely incompatible with
- 54:37American constitutionalism. And so there is a problem in
- 54:40crisis that is coming. So yeah, reproduction,
- 54:44conversion to Christianity and adoption, you need all three.
- 54:47People need to make babies. Christians need to convert
- 54:50people to Jesus Christ, and then adoption.
- 54:54People that love Jesus need to adopt kids.
- 54:56All three of those things need to happen, otherwise the future
- 55:00is going to be Islamic. Yeah, yeah.
- 55:03And we heard last week from the Israeli ambassador the the Jews
- 55:09and the Jews in Israel are one of the few people groups in the
- 55:12world right now that are reproducing faster than the
- 55:16decline. And with the war in Israel and
- 55:20everything happening, you'd think it'd be a very depressed,
- 55:23beaten down nation. They're in the top ten out of
- 55:26like 180 countries, happiest countries, most fulfilled in the
- 55:31world right now. And they're in war.
- 55:33Like if America was literally bombs are going off, I don't
- 55:36think we would be thrilled. But they're attributing that to
- 55:40children and putting more people in the future.
- 55:42So for the for the young man, that's like, should I have kids
- 55:46right now? The world is getting dark and
- 55:49darker much faster. You you believe it's meaningful
- 55:54to to have children and have a lot of children.
- 55:56There are three things incontrovertible statistical
- 56:00evidence and and the American Family Institute with Bradford
- 56:08Wilcox is really the place to go to get the data.
- 56:13There are three things that are statistically undeniably proven
- 56:19to give your life meaning, purpose, and joy.
- 56:22Jesus, a wife, and kids. Those are the three things and
- 56:27it's proven statistically and it's proven for 2000 years and
- 56:31in my life it's proven for decades and it's proven in the
- 56:36lives of 10s of thousands of people that I've had the honor
- 56:39of pastoring and Jesus, wife and kids.
- 56:42Those are the three, not just things, people that bring life
- 56:47joy. I know that my God is over
- 56:50everything. I come home to my wife and I've
- 56:54got kids and now I've got grandkids.
- 56:56And so even today what, what is the highlight of my day?
- 57:00Well, I woke up, I know that my sins are forgiven and my Savior
- 57:04is over at all. And if I die today, I'm going to
- 57:06be with him. So worst case scenario, I'm with
- 57:08Jesus. So worst case scenarios, best
- 57:10case scenario, I woke up today, my wife held my hand, we prayed
- 57:14together and smiled. And when my day's over, we're
- 57:16going to go for a walk and we're going to hold hands because
- 57:18she's my best friend and I saw a couple of my kids today.
- 57:22One's right here. And my grandkids were here, and
- 57:25they were running around. And when I pulled up, I mean,
- 57:27you saw it. They heard my voice.
- 57:29And so they all ran to the window.
- 57:31We're here at the ranch. I didn't know they're going to
- 57:32be here. Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba.
- 57:33You know, like, that's it. Yeah.
- 57:36It's, it's, it's not what you have, it's who you're with.
- 57:40That's what makes life joyful and meaningful and valuable and
- 57:43purposeful. And so, yeah, if you're a young
- 57:47man, I'd say if you give your life to Jesus, your wife and
- 57:50your kids life, and if you, if you give your life to anything
- 57:54else or those priorities are out of order, you will not enjoy
- 57:59your life and it won't be the same 100%.
- 58:02And I I have learned that having a.
- 58:04Wife and now a son like I don't know how to even describe it to
- 58:09a young single man or a, or a liberal woman like the depth of
- 58:14the joy and purpose you feel when your son says I love you
- 58:18and like, like I was leaving and he's like, daddy, I forgot to
- 58:22give you a smooch and a hug. And it was like, I mean, you
- 58:25can't you can't. There's no crazy angry comments
- 58:30you can make on an X or Instagram that'll ever line up
- 58:34to a son running up and giving you a hug.
- 58:37Like everybody's unhappy in their 40s trying to figure out
- 58:41their purpose and they're trying to find it in a job or politics,
- 58:46but it's it's in a wife and a kid and a faith in the Lord.
- 58:50Well, and and Boris like. God is a family.
- 58:54The Father, Son and Spirit are our entire understanding of the
- 58:57doctrine of the Trinity is God is a family and and even the
- 59:01language of father and son, that's language of family.
- 59:04When God made us and his image and likeness and he said it's
- 59:07not good to be alone, it's because we were made to be in a
- 59:10family. And then God's answer is to give
- 59:13Adam a wife and they have kids, they have a family.
- 59:16And so God, God's all about family and and when all is said
- 59:21and done, God's going to get his family together forever.
- 59:24And so the heart of God is a father's heart, and it's for
- 59:27family. And so for men, it's like you're
- 59:30made to be a father. You're made to be in a family.
- 59:32And when you are, honestly, that's what you were created
- 59:35for. And once you experience that,
- 59:37you're like, oh, now that's your purpose.
- 59:40Your purpose is not to be a good call for.
- 59:43Your purpose is not to, you know, meet your sales quota.
- 59:47Your purpose is not to, I don't know, you know, go viral.
- 59:52Your purpose is to be a father and in a family.
- 59:56That's your purpose. Yeah, it's really good.
- 59:58Yeah. And it's I mean.
- 59:59Until you, until you have walked that path and lived into it,
- 1:00:03it's really hard to sit on the sidelines and judge it.
- 1:00:05And the world wants to tell us those things are awful and
- 1:00:09they're a ball and chain and just go have fun, travel the
- 1:00:13world, do all these things. So those things will never
- 1:00:15fulfil having a wife, a kid, following Jesus.
- 1:00:19It is hard until you have done it to describe it.
- 1:00:22And it is a great design and it has worked, like you said, for
- 1:00:26thousands of years and. So thank you, pastor Mark and I,
- 1:00:31I think that's a good place to leave it for the show.
- 1:00:33We want you guys to be driving a 1974 Chevy K5 Blazer and we're
