- 0:47Speaker 3: I'm the Sportshock Wayne Candy, Good morning to you out
- 0:51Speaker 3: there in listening land. And we have finally gotten on
- 0:55Speaker 3: the eve of the most talked about date of twenty
- 1:01Speaker 3: twenty four, on the eve of finding out which group,
- 1:08Speaker 3: which team will take home the victory, got a couple
- 1:12Speaker 3: of more hours to wait. I mean, the bad producer
- 1:16Speaker 3: couldn't wait. He had to make it up to his
- 1:18Speaker 3: Trump rally. I think they call it all Maga on
- 1:24Speaker 3: Deck Tuesday, All Meca on Deck Tuesday. He hit me
- 1:30Speaker 3: with he was helping out with disaster relief, as do
- 1:34Speaker 3: I don't have a TV and I don't remember there
- 1:37Speaker 3: being a disaster anywhere yesterday. Did I miss a disaster
- 1:42Speaker 3: or you know it's a it's a did I miss
- 1:46Speaker 3: a disaster. It's old disaster recover continuous. New storms came through.
- 1:52Speaker 3: No storms came through yesterday. Yeah, correct, Okay, okay, so
- 1:56Speaker 3: that that went out the window. But he went on
- 2:00Speaker 3: his side of the lake. But it is election Tuesday,
- 2:06Speaker 3: and as far as I know, only Kamala Harris and
- 2:15Speaker 3: Donald Trump are being elected tomorrow. Correct, in the presidential race?
- 2:24Speaker 3: In the president No, no, no, no, no, no no.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Have you seen a commercial for any other candidate for
- 2:30Speaker 3: president or anything?
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yes? Which what did you say, cruise?
- 2:36Speaker 6: Now why I'm seeing he's running in Texas. I don't
- 2:39Speaker 6: know why I'm in Atlanta saying maybe because of the
- 2:42Speaker 6: power of streaming. But that's the Okay, I'll go hold on,
- 2:44Speaker 6: hold on, So that's what I'm saying. You was you
- 2:46Speaker 6: was streaming? Yes, yes, I'm talking about on the national television.
- 2:50Speaker 6: That's just I'm not talking about y'all on some dark web,
- 2:53Speaker 6: you know, watching warehouse baseball. I'm not anything anywhere where
- 3:01Speaker 6: y'all be.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Things we got to get scramblers for so the FEDS
- 3:06Speaker 3: don't pick up. No, sir, You're correct.
- 3:08Speaker 1: That's only.
- 3:10Speaker 3: And Donald Jay I'm come about on traditional ABC. Nb's
- 3:15Speaker 3: not on your computer when you turn on the television.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Have you seen any other commercial of a candidate for
- 3:22Speaker 3: president or any any office, for any office? But because
- 3:27Speaker 3: of at.
- 3:28Speaker 7: Work, I work in television, and I see commercials from
- 3:33Speaker 7: different local ads for different places around the country. Okay,
- 3:39Speaker 7: so I've seen you know, you're for senator or Congress.
- 3:42Speaker 7: I haven't seen a lot.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I've seen those, so I've seen the local stuff. I
- 3:47Speaker 1: haven't seen one commercial for anyone. But I don't think that.
- 3:51Speaker 1: But I think it's not I don't think any in
- 3:55Speaker 1: this state.
- 3:56Speaker 3: I didn't even know senator year, Like, don't they don't
- 3:59Speaker 3: they stagger them?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Who's up this year? Is it the representatives? Is it
- 4:04Speaker 1: the House? Is it the Senate?
- 4:06Speaker 3: I think it would be the It will be the representative.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Anybody for governors, not yet mayor police commissioner.
- 4:13Speaker 6: We got I think control, we got I think see
- 4:16Speaker 6: and see. That's the thing we never know past that.
- 4:19Speaker 3: We could vote for president and our sleep we'd be like,
- 4:22Speaker 3: oh president and you you hit that next.
- 4:25Speaker 1: And it's control and you like, what is the control?
- 4:28Speaker 1: You know, like the control? What is cop? How do
- 4:32Speaker 1: you control cop?
- 4:34Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. So we don't really know
- 4:37Speaker 3: sports jock. That's the answer to the question. That could
- 4:39Speaker 3: be thousands of people running for hundreds of different things.
- 4:42Speaker 1: We don't know.
- 4:43Speaker 3: We just know that two none of us actually know
- 4:46Speaker 3: what's going on outside of those two races. Command you,
- 4:49Speaker 3: greg As, he just said that's inside trading. So he
- 4:53Speaker 3: wouldn't even be allowed to share that with us, share
- 4:56Speaker 3: that with us because he's in the television bill, isn't it.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Yes, so he's around to see.
- 5:02Speaker 3: But I'm saying on a national platform, we we No
- 5:06Speaker 3: matter what I have said around and watched, because you know,
- 5:09Speaker 3: I'm still old school, I still turned the TV on
- 5:13Speaker 3: with walking up to it and yes, tugging a button,
- 5:17Speaker 3: ninety nine percent of whatever I'm gonna see is gonna
- 5:19Speaker 3: be regularly hitting direct TV and watching regular TV. And
- 5:24Speaker 3: it hit me like a week ago, like man, because
- 5:26Speaker 3: you know, I I absently voted, sent it in and
- 5:30Speaker 3: things like that, but I realized none of these people
- 5:34Speaker 3: on here, we we we have gave me an ad
- 5:38Speaker 3: to say vote for me, right.
- 5:40Speaker 6: And it's interesting because Jared Lloyd, our loyal online listeners,
- 5:46Speaker 6: said that number one, both House and Senate are U
- 5:49Speaker 6: for grabs. That's hundreds of people, ain't it.
- 5:52Speaker 3: That's at least a couple from every state, I'd imagine.
- 5:55Speaker 6: So, yeah, you you should have seen that on the ballot.
- 5:58Speaker 6: And then there was a dead We are making fun
- 6:02Speaker 6: of the bad producer for a disaster relief, but the
- 6:05Speaker 6: disaster was in Cincinnati and the raiders.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, okay, well no, no, those disasters we're gonna
- 6:12Speaker 3: talk about. Yes, like here in the Mercedes Bens, there
- 6:16Speaker 3: was a disaster. Was it really from Was it really
- 6:20Speaker 3: from you? You knew the tsunami was coming, you knew
- 6:23Speaker 3: you stayed in a thatch hut?
- 6:27Speaker 1: Can we call that a disaster? You see what I'm saying?
- 6:29Speaker 1: Can we you? They said move? You didn't.
- 6:32Speaker 3: But Election Tuesday is here, gentlemen, I'm gonna give you
- 6:36Speaker 3: a piece of paper and I want you to write down.
- 6:40Speaker 1: No, no, I need you to write down.
- 6:42Speaker 3: It's confession. That's how they do it, right, that's write
- 6:45Speaker 3: it down. I'm a signist, just right down. And the
- 6:51Speaker 3: bad producer is not here, so we're dealing with all
- 6:54Speaker 3: the intelligence. So it's easy because I had came up
- 6:58Speaker 3: with a whole how to get him to understand what
- 7:00Speaker 3: I'm saying kind of scenario, right, right, like I'm an
- 7:06Speaker 3: Auburn Tiger. If Auburn plays anyone, right, I pull for them,
- 7:12Speaker 3: I pray for them.
- 7:14Speaker 1: But if you ask me who's gonna win the Auburn
- 7:18Speaker 1: Oregon game, I'm gonna say Organ right, because you're you know, so.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Of who I want to win and who I think
- 7:30Speaker 3: will win, will win, those are two different things. Now completely,
- 7:34Speaker 3: that's not that's if you think the person that's all
- 7:39Speaker 3: I want, who you think will win. It could line
- 7:43Speaker 3: up with who you voted for or who you So
- 7:46Speaker 3: it's I'm just who you think will win tomorrow. I
- 7:50Speaker 3: will you know at the end of the show, I
- 7:52Speaker 3: won't call your name out. So I think this is
- 7:54Speaker 3: a confession. So it's not like I gonna be over
- 7:57Speaker 3: here like Big Kenny said. No, I'm just want to
- 8:01Speaker 3: get a reference point because it is like any That's
- 8:05Speaker 3: how they've made politics.
- 8:06Speaker 1: It's like a game. Are we not playing a game? Yeah?
- 8:10Speaker 1: It's the Democrats versus the Republican picked me? You like me?
- 8:14Speaker 1: Yes or not? In the White House Bowl? Yeah, White
- 8:16Speaker 1: House Bowl right.
- 8:18Speaker 3: It's played in Washington. The over sponsored by Tortillos or something.
- 8:24Speaker 6: I'm saying, sponsored by the Make America Great Again or
- 8:28Speaker 6: the Move America Forward Again Foundation.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Yeah, we got a lot of sponsors. Yeah yeah.
- 8:33Speaker 6: Played in the United States. The biggest Bowl has ever been. Yeah,
- 8:38Speaker 6: in the United States.
- 8:38Speaker 1: How they play? You know we got Kamala on Saturday
- 8:43Speaker 1: Night Live. She was in town. I was told here
- 8:48Speaker 1: with two chains.
- 8:52Speaker 3: And Cardi b' sonny who can represent the president?
- 8:58Speaker 1: J Lloyd just put up here? So you bought to
- 9:00Speaker 1: be at ten forty five.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Uh So that's all I want to know, right, every
- 9:11Speaker 3: I'm gonna I'm gonna let you write it. Now, come
- 9:13Speaker 3: and now let me let let me let me you're
- 9:15Speaker 3: still right? Yeah, let me because you know a lot
- 9:17Speaker 3: of people forgot out of right.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Let me ask you something. Sorry, Now that's something about
- 9:21Speaker 1: man come to work without a pin? Is he kind
- 9:23Speaker 1: of worker?
- 9:23Speaker 8: Is that?
- 9:24Speaker 3: But specially we don't get some work done. I ain't
- 9:27Speaker 3: got no pink. We got electronics.
- 9:29Speaker 1: What you want to use? You want to use my electronics.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I don't have a pen. You want to use my
- 9:36Speaker 1: electronic pin? Does it happen?
- 9:39Speaker 9: No?
- 9:39Speaker 1: That goes right? That That's that's I know the.
- 9:45Speaker 6: I was going to say, speaking of FBI, my attorneys
- 9:48Speaker 6: and I want to know. Now you said, you're not
- 9:50Speaker 6: going to say who put this on the Now we
- 9:54Speaker 6: don't have to sign. This isn't a confession or anything.
- 9:56Speaker 6: You put your name on it. Okay, you don't have
- 9:59Speaker 6: to put nothing. But because I think I'll see I
- 10:02Speaker 6: got your win one time. I got a checked like
- 10:04Speaker 6: that one time.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Do you think will win when the election? When the election? Okay, right,
- 10:10Speaker 1: write it now?
- 10:11Speaker 3: No no, no about it. You know when we get
- 10:13Speaker 3: around to it, I'll announce it later in the show.
- 10:15Speaker 3: But election Tuesday. I know a lot of you out
- 10:17Speaker 3: there ready for it to be over, for your phone
- 10:20Speaker 3: to stop ringing, for your emails and all the ways
- 10:23Speaker 3: you get and see they limited. I guess that's why
- 10:26Speaker 3: I get more calls than probably see y'all gentlemen on
- 10:29Speaker 3: the on the net'll social platforms and stuff. You know
- 10:35Speaker 3: they can only find me one way, well two ways
- 10:38Speaker 3: pony express and they don't you know, y'all don't ride horses.
- 10:42Speaker 3: You still get that one delivery every year and on
- 10:49Speaker 3: text messages, so everybody don't come forward that they can't
- 10:54Speaker 3: come to you. And will it in tonight or will
- 10:56Speaker 3: it be because I know they're still asking for money.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Did you get the one about some money yesterday.
- 11:01Speaker 1: A very odd amount.
- 11:03Speaker 3: We need about twenty nine million to finish up. And
- 11:07Speaker 3: I'm like, well, finish up.
- 11:08Speaker 7: What they're asking me individually for forty seven dollars, specifically
- 11:12Speaker 7: forty seven.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Has to change for the monkey was he at the rally.
- 11:17Speaker 1: He had the funniest happing down.
- 11:18Speaker 3: To be fair because everybody, well you just said they
- 11:21Speaker 3: had some suspect people at the Trump rally too. The
- 11:24Speaker 3: other day, Herschel walker up there fumbling around talking about
- 11:29Speaker 3: I like to introduce Donald Trump Junior. Oh, I'm sorry,
- 11:34Speaker 3: Donald Trump. He got his son and you know, and
- 11:37Speaker 3: I think he I think Herschel Herschel should be getting
- 11:41Speaker 3: that CTE check. I don't know that he's sixty two,
- 11:45Speaker 3: so he get into Social Security.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Only Herschel knows that that that vampire get well. Will
- 11:52Speaker 1: you ain't know that?
- 11:53Speaker 6: You ain't know that some more online comments, Jared suggested
- 11:57Speaker 6: that we not sign anything. They have handwriting analytics now,
- 12:01Speaker 6: and they do, and Uncle Charlie says, my hometown they
- 12:07Speaker 6: have we have city council, district judges, state representative, US senators,
- 12:13Speaker 6: US representative and lots of other junk. So he's involved
- 12:17Speaker 6: in the political process deeply with lots of other junk
- 12:22Speaker 6: I'm sure that's the office to run for.
- 12:24Speaker 1: We're running for office of lots of other giants is
- 12:27Speaker 1: right up under comptrol, don't.

- 14:09Speaker 1: my shoes.
- 14:10Speaker 5: Walk a mile in my shoes.
- 14:12Speaker 13: We've all felt left out, and for some that feeling
- 14:15Speaker 13: lasts more than a moment.
- 14:17Speaker 1: We can change that.
- 14:18Speaker 13: Learn how it belonging begins with us dot org, brought
- 14:21Speaker 13: to you by the AD Council.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Welcome out in my shoes.
- 14:28Speaker 14: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 14:31Speaker 14: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 14:34Speaker 14: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes, where
- 14:37Speaker 14: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 14:40Speaker 14: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 14:44Speaker 14: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 14:47Speaker 14: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 14:50Speaker 14: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 14:53Speaker 14: toolbox to take care of these little girls that had
- 14:57Speaker 14: just lost their mother. It's time for me to be
- 14:59Speaker 14: that father that I knew it could be. I think
- 15:02Speaker 14: just being that good role model as well. That model's
- 15:05Speaker 14: good behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 15:08Speaker 14: coming home and being able to put on that smile.
- 15:11Speaker 14: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
- 15:15Speaker 14: and watching your kids be happy.
- 15:18Speaker 5: Never stop being a dad.
- 15:20Speaker 1: That's dedication.
- 15:21Speaker 5: Find out more on Fatherhood dot gov.
- 15:23Speaker 15: Brought to you by the US Department of Health and
- 15:25Speaker 15: Human Services and the AD Council.
- 15:30Speaker 1: And now back to the sports.
- 15:32Speaker 11: John Wayne Gandy, the Jock of the Day is sponsored
- 15:37Speaker 11: by Macress HEROESUSA dot com. This sleep you deserve at
- 15:40Speaker 11: a price you can afford. No, no, no, no, It's
- 15:44Speaker 11: time to present the Jock of the Day. All the
- 15:46Speaker 11: sports jocksh just taking it to a completely different level
- 15:49Speaker 11: this year where we highlight an appolyte that has taken
- 15:52Speaker 11: their game to the next level.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Welcome to the sword Shock Show. I'm the Sportshock Wing Gandy.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Good morning to you. One quick note before we get
- 16:20Speaker 3: into the NFL action of the weekend.
- 16:24Speaker 1: UH interesting story.
- 16:25Speaker 3: As we talked about several rests, we talked about the
- 16:28Speaker 3: looting as the Dodgers won the Championship last week versus
- 16:34Speaker 3: the Yankees. Uh.
- 16:36Speaker 1: One disturbing and we've been down this path before. Uh.
- 16:40Speaker 3: If you remember Jason Pierre Paul for the Giants and
- 16:45Speaker 3: then for the Tampa Bay Bucks. Uh he uh had
- 16:49Speaker 3: an incident with some fireworks. Well, Dodger fan who didn't
- 16:55Speaker 3: understand how you like fireworks?
- 16:58Speaker 1: Right as well? Wait, what I mean didn't understay, Well, you're.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Supposed to really put the firework down and then light it.
- 17:09Speaker 3: They said that on the pack. You know what I'm saying.
- 17:12Speaker 3: So you're saying this person couldn't read visual instructions. I'm
- 17:15Speaker 3: saying you saying this person could not read. No, that
- 17:18Speaker 3: it was twenty five year old. They didn't say anything
- 17:20Speaker 3: about not being able to read.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Oh okay, so this person was forced. No, they were
- 17:28Speaker 1: got caught up in the moment.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Okay, there we go, lit the firework and it blew
- 17:34Speaker 3: up in his hand, and he blew partial of his
- 17:38Speaker 3: hand off, parts of his hand. They didn't say how
- 17:40Speaker 3: much damage, but I guess any part is enough in
- 17:46Speaker 3: these kind of incidents.
- 17:48Speaker 1: So you ever had firework blow up in your hand?
- 17:51Speaker 15: No?
- 17:52Speaker 3: Okay, no, No, I've always been very very understanding that
- 17:58Speaker 3: fireworks are basically demolition in a small quantity, yeah, and
- 18:05Speaker 3: it should be respected.
- 18:08Speaker 6: I had once a firecracker blow up, and we were
- 18:12Speaker 6: doing a thing where after the fourth you find all
- 18:16Speaker 6: of the unpopped firecrackers and light them again. And I
- 18:20Speaker 6: tried to light one and it didn't go off, and
- 18:22Speaker 6: I was holding it, and then like a minute and
- 18:24Speaker 6: a half later, it exploded. And it didn't tear any
- 18:28Speaker 6: skin or anything like that, but had a little scorch
- 18:31Speaker 6: mark in my hand, blister, that kind of thing, and
- 18:34Speaker 6: it hurt bad for a long time. And I was
- 18:37Speaker 6: a kid when it happened, But that gave me a
- 18:41Speaker 6: new foul respect for fireworks. And if this small firecracker
- 18:47Speaker 6: can do that, then surely the M eight's and the
- 18:49Speaker 6: other stuff. So I mean, if something like this happens.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Now now fireworks are not legal in every state art No,
- 18:58Speaker 3: I don't think yea states you can't buy you have
- 19:01Speaker 3: to go across the.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Station state line.
- 19:04Speaker 6: And then not being arrested while using them is a
- 19:08Speaker 6: judgment call in that jurisdiction because the police can pull
- 19:12Speaker 6: up on you.
- 19:13Speaker 1: What do you know, You're not supposed to be doing
- 19:14Speaker 1: this kind.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Of thing, Okay, Yeah, so, unfortunately for that fan. Just
- 19:21Speaker 3: to tell you how, you know, the level in which
- 19:24Speaker 3: people were celebrating and unfortunately doing celebrations, it seems that
- 19:30Speaker 3: there's always something somebody's getting hurt.
- 19:33Speaker 9: Do you know?
- 19:34Speaker 3: It's not just good enough to pump your fists and
- 19:36Speaker 3: jump up and down. It seems to be somewhere in
- 19:38Speaker 3: the celebration of something somebody needs to almost like say
- 19:43Speaker 3: far until a glass break.
- 19:46Speaker 1: The party don't start right now, do you remember? I've
- 19:50Speaker 1: never heard that, but it makes sense.
- 19:52Speaker 6: Remember when we were talking about these celebrations the day
- 19:56Speaker 6: after the Dodgers won, and I asked, do you think
- 20:00Speaker 6: they ever track or keep up with people who have
- 20:03Speaker 6: long lasting results from a one time celebration. This dude
- 20:08Speaker 6: will be one of them. He's going to be forever
- 20:10Speaker 6: that time. The Dodgers won the World Series in twenty
- 20:14Speaker 6: twenty four, and I wonder how many other people like
- 20:17Speaker 6: him in life have a permanent injury or something damaged
- 20:23Speaker 6: due to the fact that they were doing too much.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Yeah, so, sorry for that young man getting his hand
- 20:29Speaker 3: blown off explosive Are we really yes? I okay, it's
- 20:36Speaker 3: one thing to intentionally do it, but in the video
- 20:38Speaker 3: you can see he was trying to get away, get away,
- 20:41Speaker 3: but just it went off, kind of like you were
- 20:43Speaker 3: saying when you found it, you were not trying to
- 20:45Speaker 3: make it blow.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Up in your hand. No, I wasn't. I wasn't. So
- 20:49Speaker 1: in his case, it's kind of similar situation.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Jason Kelsey, who has jumped on the national scene as
- 20:56Speaker 3: a spokesman, and I love it because, you know, finally
- 21:00Speaker 3: getting some O line love. I'm a person of celebration
- 21:03Speaker 3: of people. I like the clap your party guys. You know,
- 21:06Speaker 3: I'm yeah, I didn't. You know, what you want and
- 21:10Speaker 3: the things that manifest doesn't always necessarily become you. It's
- 21:14Speaker 3: almost like when people feel like you reap what you sow,
- 21:17Speaker 3: that doesn't mean that you directly. It just might mean
- 21:22Speaker 3: it might be adjacent, right, the things around you, not
- 21:26Speaker 3: particularly you. Jason Kelsey for old Linemen, we get very
- 21:31Speaker 3: little love Jason Kelsey doing big things commercials. I love
- 21:36Speaker 3: how they have him in that robe that he's in
- 21:39Speaker 3: that chunky soup, because you know, that's how you eat
- 21:41Speaker 3: your chunky suit in a robe on a bear skin rug.
- 21:47Speaker 3: You know, because we've all time, right, do y'all like
- 21:51Speaker 3: chunky or you're a chunky.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Yeah, chunky, progressive chunky. I was okay, I'm whatever's gonna say.
- 22:00Speaker 6: I'm saying because I'm about good one and to me,
- 22:03Speaker 6: Progresso kind of seems like the I used to work
- 22:07Speaker 6: with Chunky.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Then we had a little falling out, you see what
- 22:10Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 22:11Speaker 6: So because my thoughts were too progressive, So I became
- 22:16Speaker 6: a different suit, because it's basically the same thing in
- 22:18Speaker 6: a different camp.
- 22:20Speaker 3: So Jason Kelsey getting caught being harassed in a sense, gentlemen,
- 22:27Speaker 3: as he was walking to the game, and this was
- 22:30Speaker 3: the Penn State Ohio State game. Is that the crowd
- 22:34Speaker 3: that he was walking through headed to the stadium and
- 22:37Speaker 3: one of the fans had some choice words for him
- 22:41Speaker 3: about his brother Travis. And we've seen, at least in
- 22:45Speaker 3: this point in their lives, they're close brothers. Now we
- 22:48Speaker 3: can go back when they were twenty and eighteen, they
- 22:51Speaker 3: might not liked each other, who knows, but at thirty
- 22:54Speaker 3: five and thirty seven they seemed to be almost like twins.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Jason taking excess option to his brother being called a
- 23:03Speaker 3: homophobic slur and decided to question the man with the
- 23:09Speaker 3: same slur. We'll talk about that on the other side
- 23:13Speaker 3: of the break, because people were making it seem like,
- 23:16Speaker 3: even in defense, Jason doesn't have that right to use
- 23:20Speaker 3: that word.
- 23:21Speaker 1: We'll be back right out of here with The Sports
- 23:23Speaker 1: Jock Show if it's finally she loves. Let to play,

- 24:11Speaker 17: She thought she'd never have a permanent place to call home.
- 24:16Speaker 18: Before I was adopted, I felt like I wasn't enough.
- 24:19Speaker 18: I had this hole in my heart and I never
- 24:21Speaker 18: knew what I needed to patch that hole. But when
- 24:24Speaker 18: my mom asked to adopt me, that hole was closed.
- 24:28Speaker 18: It feels so normal now to say that I'm a
- 24:30Speaker 18: part of this family. I am surrounded by love, I
- 24:33Speaker 18: feel safe, and that hole inside of me is gone.
- 24:37Speaker 18: I am whole. I'm finally enough, just as I am.

- 27:12Speaker 3: bots harmonizing Sam and his son.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Y'all remember that? Y'alln't remember that, do you?
- 27:22Speaker 3: That must have been writing lyrics and I was doing
- 27:24Speaker 3: to be boxed. No, yeah, yeah, hear what you said,
- 27:29Speaker 3: Bick Kenny, I was I was working on my everybody.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Welcome back to the show. Hey, Kelsey, how does it
- 27:42Speaker 3: feel for your brother? Is a F word for dating?
- 27:48Speaker 3: Taylor Swift, a fan shouted at Jason Kelsey. Jason Kelsey
- 27:57Speaker 3: smashing his phone and asked a gentlemen, who's the F word?
- 28:06Speaker 20: Now?
- 28:08Speaker 3: This all started Saturday, where Jason Kelsey was attending the
- 28:12Speaker 3: Penn State Ohio state game. Sorry, James Franklin, you just
- 28:17Speaker 3: can't see the beat a top ten opponent, Huh like
- 28:21Speaker 3: two and forty or something in his career at Penn State.
- 28:24Speaker 1: But he always makes good teams. And see he probably
- 28:27Speaker 1: thinking this or wasn't even about me even dealing with that.
- 28:32Speaker 3: All weekend, y'all were talking about the weather and then
- 28:36Speaker 3: somebody said it's.
- 28:37Speaker 1: As bad as Penn State not being able to come.
- 28:41Speaker 3: I said, I'm sorry, but Jason Kelsey starting the weekend
- 28:45Speaker 3: off of everyone, and you knew this flew over to
- 28:48Speaker 3: Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift. First of all, I don't
- 28:53Speaker 3: get where it makes Travis Kelsey anything for Dayton Taylor Swift.
- 29:01Speaker 3: So but Jason defending his brother. Where Now words are
- 29:10Speaker 3: the new weapon? Because you know, for a long time
- 29:15Speaker 3: it was sticks and stones may break my bones.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Word. You know, we walked away from word. When was that?
- 29:23Speaker 1: When was that? That's how I grew up? Oh? That
- 29:26Speaker 1: was the biblical way of how you approach life.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Okay, it's the best way to diffuse and see if
- 29:33Speaker 3: words are words of your trigger, you'll find yourself always.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Well, well we'll see.
- 29:40Speaker 6: And and I, in full transparency, I'll say that I
- 29:46Speaker 6: am learning to accept that that that's too much power
- 29:52Speaker 6: to give another person with the words. And I think
- 29:55Speaker 6: a lot of people like that. Fan assume that most
- 29:59Speaker 6: folks had that kind of socialization. But my environment that
- 30:04Speaker 6: I was raised in was very much watch your mouth.
- 30:07Speaker 6: Words have responsibility behind them. You just can't fly out
- 30:11Speaker 6: your mouth with stuff and expect people not to respond. Now,
- 30:14Speaker 6: if they biblical and they've been taught the right stuff,
- 30:17Speaker 6: they're supposed to turn around and walk away, or they
- 30:20Speaker 6: might put their hands on you.
- 30:21Speaker 3: But most people are hoping that you react to the
- 30:24Speaker 3: words because they want you to act.
- 30:27Speaker 1: And then that puts you in the wrong. No, no,
- 30:30Speaker 1: I'm giving you. You asked me for this, I'm gonna
- 30:32Speaker 1: give this to you. So we are both in agreement.
- 30:35Speaker 3: You won't have No, You're now you're in court trying
- 30:39Speaker 3: to hope you find a judge that's sympathetic, that's sympathetic and.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Call you the B word, and and and in full transparency. Again.
- 30:50Speaker 6: I am learning the hard way that that that I
- 30:55Speaker 6: could have been as many of them be words as
- 30:57Speaker 6: that man called me, and it would have been better
- 30:59Speaker 6: for me to walk away. But I ain't finna be
- 31:01Speaker 6: too many more B words, sir. You see what I'm saying.
- 31:04Speaker 6: I ain't finna be too many more B words. And
- 31:06Speaker 6: then you decided to hit me with the one more
- 31:09Speaker 6: B word.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Now we in court.
- 31:11Speaker 3: And that's just that's how I was socialized or not socialized.
- 31:16Speaker 1: And so now that's what I'm saying, fans.
- 31:18Speaker 6: A lot of people step out there hoping that somehow
- 31:22Speaker 6: your sensibilities or another person's barrier of protection will prevent
- 31:26Speaker 6: them from living up to the responsibility of what the
- 31:29Speaker 6: words can.
- 31:30Speaker 3: And that's what I'm saying. You can combat with words
- 31:32Speaker 3: if that's what you choose to go to, right, but
- 31:35Speaker 3: you letting that word turning. Now Jason Kelsey finds himself
- 31:39Speaker 3: at least responds before a cell phone. I don't you know,
- 31:42Speaker 3: I can't tell whether he touched the guy or not.
- 31:45Speaker 3: But in this climate, you get charged with intimidation, right,
- 31:49Speaker 3: and you hoping somebody feels that, oh, well, you shouldn't
- 31:53Speaker 3: have said that. That's a dangerous place to be.
- 31:58Speaker 1: It is, it is.
- 31:59Speaker 7: I see the video here. He grabbed the phone, he
- 32:04Speaker 7: slammed on the ground, then he picked it up, so
- 32:06Speaker 7: he didn't even give the he didn't give the guy
- 32:08Speaker 7: the phone back.
- 32:09Speaker 1: So now it's theF.
- 32:12Speaker 3: So you don't let the F word take you to
- 32:14Speaker 3: destruction of poverty, theft, intimidation, and see for you now
- 32:19Speaker 3: you're cleaning streets.
- 32:21Speaker 6: Now and see and this is and and this is
- 32:24Speaker 6: my this is my fatal flaw is that I've never
- 32:29Speaker 6: had a point of almost or a little bit in trouble.
- 32:35Speaker 6: If I get in any kind of trouble, I'm going
- 32:38Speaker 6: straight to the bottom of the barrel. So theft, destruction
- 32:43Speaker 6: of property, intimidation fin to turn straight into assault. I'm
- 32:46Speaker 6: not just finna be up in court about no breaking
- 32:49Speaker 6: your phone. I'm finna be on some put my hands
- 32:52Speaker 6: on this man. He all up in my space. Who
- 32:55Speaker 6: you think you dealing with?
- 32:56Speaker 1: Sir? And that's not right. I'm not saying that's right.
- 32:59Speaker 3: And since we been doing this show, how many incidents
- 33:03Speaker 3: have we had with an athlete an entertainer has led,
- 33:09Speaker 3: a fan provoked them, or a reporter provoked them to
- 33:14Speaker 3: wear into a million dollar loss, some.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Kind of loss.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree, I agree, And and some of them
- 33:20Speaker 3: know who to target and they know the short fuse.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Even Denzel Washington a couple of weeks ago, had to
- 33:26Speaker 3: get in the dude's face.
- 33:27Speaker 1: He walked over to the guy, and I.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Think his might have been from simply he was he
- 33:33Speaker 3: was telling the people, I'll sign when I come back.
- 33:37Speaker 3: He was going into the hotel.
- 33:38Speaker 1: He was.
- 33:38Speaker 3: He was saying, I'm gonna get y'all on it. But
- 33:41Speaker 3: a lot of fans have been on that side of
- 33:43Speaker 3: it too, where they're sitting.
- 33:44Speaker 1: There like that.
- 33:45Speaker 3: They always say that, right, And he walked over and
- 33:48Speaker 3: let the fan know, Hey, if I say, I'm gonna
- 33:50Speaker 3: do something, but it's not right for you to keep
- 33:53Speaker 3: speaking to me that way. So it's just push you
- 33:56Speaker 3: in that trick bag. And that was something I thought.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Maybe that was a nursery rhyme that everybody heard those
- 34:03Speaker 3: sticks and stones.
- 34:04Speaker 1: It was something that you know.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Because it gives also as we move on, it gives
- 34:14Speaker 3: them the victory. I was able to antagonize you to
- 34:19Speaker 3: come over here and react.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Yeah, but that scar on your lip of reminded no,
- 34:24Speaker 1: but I but I got him. Look what I got
- 34:26Speaker 1: him to do.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm saying, And I got Prince to take off
- 34:30Speaker 3: them high heels and hit me across the face and
- 34:32Speaker 3: hit me cross the face. And you and the next
- 34:34Speaker 3: time you talk trash, you'll stand farther.
- 34:36Speaker 1: But that's all they wanted. And you gave them what
- 34:41Speaker 1: they really really wanted.
- 34:42Speaker 6: And and that's where I'm wrong. And then working on
- 34:46Speaker 6: me because I would always deliver like the mailman.
- 34:49Speaker 1: You you come to me for it. And Okay, I
- 34:52Speaker 1: thought this what we both had agreed to. I was wrong.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Well, the Cowboys and dak agreed to a big deal.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Ceede Lamb and a whole lot of people a great
- 35:03Speaker 3: but they haven't given the Cowboy fans what they wanted
- 35:07Speaker 3: this season. Here in Atlanta yesterday had the opportunity to
- 35:11Speaker 3: go down to this game. Now, they did show up,
- 35:14Speaker 3: as Cowboy fans do always. Nothing can ever be questioned
- 35:19Speaker 3: about the strength of their fan base. What is in
- 35:23Speaker 3: question is where and what, if anything, can the Cowboys
- 35:31Speaker 3: do Because it's going to take a team of true,
- 35:39Speaker 3: true scientists. I'm talking about the people who actually learned
- 35:46Speaker 3: that there was a Pluto and that it moved a
- 35:49Speaker 3: little further back, and now it's not a planet. And
- 35:52Speaker 3: that what they did with Pluto, they said, finally rotated
- 35:54Speaker 3: too far back.
- 35:55Speaker 10: That is not.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Whoever. Those people are nothing.
- 36:00Speaker 3: They need to paying enough attention in the back loafing
- 36:04Speaker 3: twenty seven twenty one, the Falcons beating the Cowboys. Dak
- 36:08Speaker 3: Prescott left with a hamstring injury, Seed Lamb left with
- 36:12Speaker 3: a shoulder injury. Someone even sent me video that Dak
- 36:18Speaker 3: Prescott was admitting that the team sucked.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Listen, listen, are we just benched to left tackle?
- 36:25Speaker 9: Are we?
- 36:25Speaker 20: Are?
- 36:25Speaker 6: We gonna have to wait for Scar to die before
- 36:28Speaker 6: the pride Lands start to regenerate and and and and
- 36:32Speaker 6: grow and come back to life is what.
- 36:35Speaker 1: We're gonna As a resident Cowboy fan over here, come on,
- 36:38Speaker 1: she seen Jerry is Scar? I didn't say anything. I
- 36:42Speaker 1: didn't say anything. I said, are we gonna have to
- 36:44Speaker 1: wait for Scar to die? You said Jerry? Joe?
- 36:48Speaker 19: Start?
- 36:48Speaker 1: I asked, did I say Jerry Jones was Scar? I'm
- 36:51Speaker 1: asking who is Scar?
- 36:53Speaker 20: Now?
- 36:53Speaker 1: You're asking who is Scar?
- 36:55Speaker 6: Before you purchase to me, I'm saying I'm in a
- 36:58Speaker 6: trick bag now, and already said that.
- 37:01Speaker 1: I said that, and you just inferred that from what
- 37:03Speaker 1: I said, Well, I'm asking you.
- 37:07Speaker 3: In the i Q test, you would have gotten answer, right,
- 37:10Speaker 3: because that's how they That's how they asked in i
- 37:12Speaker 3: Q tests. When if you ever took an i Q test, Yes,
- 37:15Speaker 3: they that's kind of how it's put. And then.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Who am I referring to? You have to figure it out.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I can't give you but a word. Now, you got
- 37:23Speaker 1: to figure out who.
- 37:24Speaker 3: So I believe I would have answered that he was
- 37:26Speaker 3: referring to Jerry Jones, Yes, okay, but I'm referring to you,
- 37:32Speaker 3: Dak Prescott.
- 37:33Speaker 1: What you're gonna do to turn this season around? I
- 37:38Speaker 1: gotta hope and pray. I guess.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Oh, that's that's a hard see right there. That's a
- 37:43Speaker 3: mother loss is hoping and pray Heaven Like man, I
- 37:50Speaker 3: ain't got nothing to do with this.
- 37:51Speaker 7: People focus on the you know, Dak's contract, CDs contract,
- 37:55Speaker 7: But the offensive line isn't what it was. Our two
- 37:59Speaker 7: best pass sures are still out.
- 38:01Speaker 3: Can't run the ball, uh, because that's dicted.
- 38:06Speaker 1: I don't know what he's distracted by. He's not playing
- 38:09Speaker 1: all that much. We'll come back and talk about the sidelines.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Is what got him distracted he's working with his phone now.
- 38:18Speaker 3: And I think Jesus might be a Browns fan like that.
- 38:23Speaker 3: You other thirty one team. You don't know why y'all
- 38:25Speaker 3: get thinking hen y'all win. He don't let them do.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Nothing I know for the Jets.
- 38:58Speaker 10: John bo Wayne More of The Sports Josh Show with
- 39:01Speaker 10: Wayne Dantudios dumming up next.
- 39:06Speaker 18: The future depends on teachers.
- 39:09Speaker 12: Every day, teachers are shaping our tomorrows, starting their students
- 39:13Speaker 12: on journeys that will change the course of history. Right now,
- 39:18Speaker 12: in a classroom somewhere in the United States, there's a
- 39:20Speaker 12: teacher inspiring a future scientist who'll make preventing pandemics their
- 39:25Speaker 12: life's work, sharpening the mind of an aspiring environmentalist who'll
- 39:29Speaker 12: help come back climate change, and generating possibilities for a
- 39:33Speaker 12: student who'll be the first in their family to graduate college.

- 40:36Speaker 21: I'm Ryan Blaney, a third generational race car driver, and
- 40:39Speaker 21: we dedicate a lot of our time to going as
- 40:40Speaker 21: fast as possible. My Grandpa Lou is the reason why
- 40:43Speaker 21: my dad and I started racing, and I'm really proud
- 40:45Speaker 21: to follow on his tracks. But when my grandpa was
- 40:47Speaker 21: diagnosed with Alzheimer's, it was a very unexpected bump in
- 40:50Speaker 21: the road for us. I've learned a lot on this
- 40:52Speaker 21: journey with my Grandpa Lou, and the memories of my
- 40:54Speaker 21: grandpa will always be with me. It's important to notice
- 40:57Speaker 21: if older family members are acting differently, experiencing problems with
- 41:00Speaker 21: their memory, or.
- 41:01Speaker 5: Having trouble with routine tasks.
- 41:02Speaker 21: Talking about Alzheimer's can be really tough, but if you

- 42:02Speaker 1: a long one. Say you can see a sports chaint.
- 42:06Speaker 3: I'll sing even canny, welcome back to this what Shock
- 42:11Speaker 3: shown the Swordshock win Candy. Monday Night Football Tonight, the
- 42:15Speaker 3: four and four Tampa Bay Bucks headed to Kansas City
- 42:19Speaker 3: take on Gates, Bobby c and the Chiefs who are
- 42:24Speaker 3: seven and oh look for a motivated Tampa Bay Bucks
- 42:29Speaker 3: team to really you know, it's already a big thing
- 42:33Speaker 3: to try to beat the Chiefs, especially in Arrowhead. But
- 42:37Speaker 3: at four and four, uh and already losing to the
- 42:42Speaker 3: Falcons two times this game will start. That's a lot
- 42:48Speaker 3: of work for the Bucks to make up that gap
- 42:52Speaker 3: when you've already lost to the teams that is in
- 42:54Speaker 3: front of you twice. Correct, the Falcons have beat everybody
- 42:59Speaker 3: in the division, beat the Bucks twice. Yesterday they beat
- 43:03Speaker 3: the Cowboys twenty seven to twenty one. Good crowd, good game,
- 43:08Speaker 3: a lot of injuries on the Cowboys as the game
- 43:11Speaker 3: went on. Before the game, the Dallas Cowboys decided they
- 43:17Speaker 3: were not going to dress Ezekiel Elliott and that's why
- 43:25Speaker 3: he didn't travel. When they told him he was not
- 43:28Speaker 3: going to dress. Basically, Zeke got upset and didn't want
- 43:33Speaker 3: to travel, and then the two sides came. He didn't
- 43:37Speaker 3: want to come to the game. He didn't want to
- 43:38Speaker 3: be one of those guys, and rightfully so at this
- 43:41Speaker 3: point now I would have of con but Zeke most
- 43:48Speaker 3: likely is upset. He came back to the Cowboys this year.
- 43:52Speaker 3: I think he thought he was going to really get
- 43:54Speaker 3: to run the ball, and the Cowboys are more a
- 43:59Speaker 3: past team. Now would you would you say that about
- 44:02Speaker 3: your team? Yes, everything is sent around trying to get
- 44:05Speaker 3: Dak to throw the ball. They want backs. Even yesterday
- 44:09Speaker 3: watching the game, we noticed they had Dalvin Cook in
- 44:12Speaker 3: uniform and Ezekiel Elliott's position as the backup didn't play.
- 44:18Speaker 3: As far as I know, died he get in late.
- 44:21Speaker 3: I never saw him run the ball or touch the ball.
- 44:23Speaker 3: I saw that he had yeah, that he had dressed,
- 44:25Speaker 3: but I said he had two carries that must have
- 44:29Speaker 3: been in that last when they put in Cooper Rush
- 44:31Speaker 3: or something. They said that Zeke was worried about infecting
- 44:34Speaker 3: his new belly button ring. That's what someone online said. Well,
- 44:38Speaker 3: I just think Zeke went there like we all thought,
- 44:41Speaker 3: with the things that the Cowboys had in place, they
- 44:44Speaker 3: was going to be able to do a little more winning.
- 44:46Speaker 3: He gets there and you've become Peyton Manning and the
- 44:51Speaker 3: spread offense. You're not looking really to run the ball, right.
- 44:55Speaker 3: Why'd you bring me here? I could have went and
- 44:57Speaker 3: tried to get it with another championship team. Yeah, that
- 45:03Speaker 3: might really want to use me. So now you have
- 45:06Speaker 3: this situation destruntal zeke, your quarterback, hamstring, your shoulder of
- 45:13Speaker 3: your star receiver, your two best defensive players out, and
- 45:19Speaker 3: what you say will correct all this some hope.
- 45:22Speaker 1: In prayer, yes, hoping prayer. I just just punt.
- 45:27Speaker 6: I think aval Well, you're gonna need a whole tent
- 45:31Speaker 6: revival with you know I'm talking about I'm ready to
- 45:34Speaker 6: punt on the seat, some old school laying.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Hands on you prayer.
- 45:38Speaker 3: Yesterday doing the green Bay Detroit game twenty four to fourteen,
- 45:43Speaker 3: the Lions winning this game, Uh, there was an incident where, uh,
- 45:49Speaker 3: the safety of Detroit was ejected. I think his last
- 45:54Speaker 3: name was Breach.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Branch.
- 45:58Speaker 3: It was his last name, right, I was actually watching
- 46:02Speaker 3: the game. He got throughout the game for hitting a
- 46:06Speaker 3: defenseless player, as they constituted it. Tom Brady was doing
- 46:11Speaker 3: this game as a color commentator and he had an
- 46:16Speaker 3: issue with the call. He felt like, it's football that
- 46:22Speaker 3: you can call the fifteen yard penalty, but you rejecting
- 46:25Speaker 3: people hurts game. A lot of fans I see have
- 46:29Speaker 3: an issue with Tom being that blunt about it. Guys,
- 46:35Speaker 3: I thought you wanted to hear from the goat. Now
- 46:39Speaker 3: do y'all not want to hear from the goat. Well,
- 46:41Speaker 3: if it lines up with what we think and feel,
- 46:45Speaker 3: so oh, then why did you want him to come
- 46:47Speaker 3: not because he's supposed to line up with what we're thinking.
- 46:50Speaker 3: For everybody else? Does everybody else comes up here?
- 46:54Speaker 6: All of these Hall of famers who live with limps
- 46:58Speaker 6: and chips and bone spurs, and half of them have
- 47:03Speaker 6: the hip pads that they sit on when they're broadcasting
- 47:06Speaker 6: and somebody gets hit and they go, oh, yeah, well,
- 47:08Speaker 6: well the league needs to you know, where'd we're gonna
- 47:11Speaker 6: look at that in the players Association where that that
- 47:14Speaker 6: safety cap makes a lot of sense. And then you
- 47:16Speaker 6: have a guy who, if if anybody's going to defend
- 47:21Speaker 6: being softer on people, it's a it's a quarterback who
- 47:25Speaker 6: was able to at least get another Super Bowl ring
- 47:27Speaker 6: or two based on the fact that they changed the
- 47:30Speaker 6: rules and he was supposed to get a company man answer.
- 47:33Speaker 1: And he was like on some ha, he laid that
- 47:36Speaker 1: lumb on him, didn't he?
- 47:37Speaker 3: And everybody was like, wait a minute, Tom, that's not
- 47:40Speaker 3: what you're supposed to say it to im, Like, yeah, man,
- 47:42Speaker 3: it's a brutal game.
- 47:43Speaker 6: You know, people get hurt all the time. That's what
- 47:46Speaker 6: he says, that's it, and that's the reality of football.
- 47:49Speaker 6: But that's not what the NFL is trying to sell.
- 47:52Speaker 6: Us all getting sold it's a family friendly entertainment event.
- 48:00Speaker 6: I thought that was the Incredibles that too. That's what
- 48:03Speaker 6: I'm saying. They're trying to make up all the same thing.
- 48:05Speaker 3: That's why you can get popcorn and build the Bears
- 48:09Speaker 3: at the football stadium.
- 48:11Speaker 1: It's because it's just like the Incredibles.
- 48:14Speaker 6: Now, unlike the Incredibles, somebody showed him might get dislocated
- 48:20Speaker 6: and they might have to get rolled off the field,
- 48:22Speaker 6: but it's still a family friendly game.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Also a little criticism going Tom's way in once again,
- 48:27Speaker 3: I don't get it. You deemed him to be the
- 48:29Speaker 3: goat and then you get the goat there and he
- 48:33Speaker 3: wants to It's like Michael Jordan coming down off the
- 48:36Speaker 3: cloud and coming to the sideline and if he says,
- 48:39Speaker 3: this guy is whatever he is now, you didn't want
- 48:42Speaker 3: him to say it. Why did you bring him here?
- 48:44Speaker 3: Tom Brady was talking about quarterbacks. He's saying this off
- 48:47Speaker 3: season about how the quarterbacks is jumping around with the
- 48:51Speaker 3: nil and going to four or five different schools and
- 48:54Speaker 3: not getting the tutelage their step behind. He was saying
- 48:58Speaker 3: this before the season started, and everybody criticize him basically
- 49:02Speaker 3: for the same thing.
- 49:03Speaker 1: You're not supposed to point out the truth. Tom You're
- 49:08Speaker 1: supposed to make us feel good about the game.
- 49:11Speaker 3: No, I'm telling you your son going to four different
- 49:13Speaker 3: schools in four in five years. He didn't learn how
- 49:17Speaker 3: to play the game.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Well, he's supposed to tell us this is a good idea.
- 49:23Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. Man, you're supposed to be supposed
- 49:27Speaker 3: to make to feel good about our bad decisions. Who
- 49:30Speaker 3: did your who did your hr training? Like? Who told
- 49:33Speaker 3: you what your responsibilities with right up the street? Oh see,
- 49:40Speaker 3: you didn't get training. You didn't get anything with how.
- 49:44Speaker 1: To do this thing. Do you see how this Tom
- 49:46Speaker 1: Ford suit is cut on me?
- 49:48Speaker 6: Yeah, it's cut on your nice but but that makes
- 49:52Speaker 6: it more concerning when people will start to agree with
- 49:55Speaker 6: you when you say stuff like, yeah, it's a tough game.
- 49:57Speaker 1: You got to get used to it. If you say
- 49:58Speaker 1: it in the time Ford suit people, I don't know
- 50:01Speaker 1: what you're talking about. We'll be back more to sports
- 50:03Speaker 1: show right after it. This is so if you ask

- 53:02Speaker 24: Gandy center court on sports News gossip blih blah bliblah.
- 53:21Speaker 4: You look at too if it happened to.
- 53:28Speaker 1: Nobody knows what's back to this one shock show.
- 53:31Speaker 3: I'm the sport shock Wayne Gandee and we were talking
- 53:34Speaker 3: about Tom Brady and the different things and I will
- 53:36Speaker 3: move on. But I'm one of the you know, and
- 53:39Speaker 3: I don't think it's an old school mentality. I just
- 53:44Speaker 3: thought football was football. You tweak it as much as
- 53:47Speaker 3: you can, but you can't forget that it's football. It
- 53:53Speaker 3: is running and hitting. Those are the two key components
- 53:58Speaker 3: to it. Every play somebody is running somewhere and hitting
- 54:03Speaker 3: somebody hard hard.
- 54:05Speaker 1: And now this is like, I don't get there.
- 54:08Speaker 6: Maybe it's a generational thing because growing up I was
- 54:12Speaker 6: led to believe that baseball and basketball were staffed by athletes.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Who couldn't take the hitting component of football. It is
- 54:24Speaker 1: that's the that was the whole.
- 54:25Speaker 3: The only reason I play baseball is because them dudes
- 54:29Speaker 3: hit too hard. I can run fast, I'm big, I'm strong,
- 54:32Speaker 3: but that hitting made me swing a bat instead, it
- 54:35Speaker 3: made me shoot a basketball.
- 54:37Speaker 1: Hitting physicality is a true as we taught weapon. Yes
- 54:43Speaker 1: it can. It's a neutralizer.
- 54:45Speaker 3: It's where the guy that is a step slaughtering you
- 54:49Speaker 3: gets you to become his speed by he hits you,
- 54:52Speaker 3: and now you have a fear of going in there. Underneath,
- 54:56Speaker 3: you had guys that wouldn't run certain routes. Your most
- 55:00Speaker 3: favorite receivers, yes, and running backs wouldn't do certain runs.
- 55:07Speaker 1: No, because that dude over there, Reggie Bush.
- 55:09Speaker 3: Wanted to stay out on the edge. That's not called
- 55:10Speaker 3: him out. He was a heisman, he was as great
- 55:13Speaker 3: as he was. But there were certain things Reggie is
- 55:16Speaker 3: not signing up for. They bore that little quick slant
- 55:19Speaker 3: out of the slot. No one wants to not going
- 55:23Speaker 3: down up and there. But I kept this guy, and
- 55:26Speaker 3: you're like, well, why did he keep him on the
- 55:27Speaker 3: roster Because he will go run that route, Yes he will,
- 55:32Speaker 3: and he will take that hit. There's guys on defense
- 55:34Speaker 3: that will not hit, so you get a lot of
- 55:38Speaker 3: broken tackles. They weren't. They weren't physical. They were great
- 55:41Speaker 3: at covering as long as you throw the ball. We could.
- 55:44Speaker 3: But the running back like Derrick Henry, that's why they
- 55:46Speaker 3: call it a business decisions. You watch the game. When
- 55:49Speaker 3: he come around that corner, I.
- 55:52Speaker 6: Can tackle him and be out for the rest of
- 55:54Speaker 6: the season, or I could knock down these next three
- 55:58Speaker 6: that ain't.
- 55:58Speaker 1: That's not bad technical, that's fear.
- 56:01Speaker 3: When that cornerback does that little dye thing where he
- 56:05Speaker 3: just he's just making sure on tape it looked like.
- 56:09Speaker 1: I'm trying.
- 56:10Speaker 3: But he made a decision when he came up there,
- 56:13Speaker 3: and even the coaches like I understand bro out of
- 56:17Speaker 3: move too.
- 56:17Speaker 6: I'm saying, that's how I ended up coaching trying to
- 56:21Speaker 6: tackle Derrick Henry.
- 56:22Speaker 1: That's what I just don't want to hand to the
- 56:24Speaker 1: face exactly.
- 56:26Speaker 3: Business decisions are made. But Tom Brady telling the truth.
- 56:30Speaker 3: We hopefully he sticks around. I thought you when you
- 56:32Speaker 3: brought these guys on the Hall of Famers, the long
- 56:36Speaker 3: time player, that's what you wanted to hear. I didn't
- 56:38Speaker 3: know you wanted to hear that football was supposed to.
- 56:42Speaker 6: Be And now this is this is something that I'll
- 56:44Speaker 6: ask who's going to be the bigger brand say what
- 56:47Speaker 6: Tom Brady is saying.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Let's just assume that what he's saying starts to.
- 56:52Speaker 6: Hit the ears of the fans and there's a shift
- 56:55Speaker 6: in how they see the game, and the NFL thinks
- 56:58Speaker 6: that it's a bad shift. Well, Fox be the final word,
- 57:01Speaker 6: or where the NFL go to Fox and say, all right,
- 57:04Speaker 6: now rain your boy in song.
- 57:06Speaker 3: Well, if you give me his buyout Claus, we'll get
- 57:10Speaker 3: rid of him NFL. But right now, he got us
- 57:14Speaker 3: on the hook for three hundred more meal. And you
- 57:17Speaker 3: know the NFL, he'd take this three mel and shut
- 57:20Speaker 3: him up.
- 57:20Speaker 6: Three three hundred meal, take it, take it and go okay,
- 57:23Speaker 6: now we'll billion dollar business. All of these boys got it,
- 57:25Speaker 6: and we have to put it in a in a
- 57:27Speaker 6: clause in the owners tax.
- 57:29Speaker 3: Know, the owners would get rid of the preseason if
- 57:31Speaker 3: somebody would just pay them the money the revenue. Right,
- 57:35Speaker 3: preseason games are only for revenue. That's why they keep
- 57:39Speaker 3: holding them. If somebody would walk in, if the players
- 57:42Speaker 3: would go in the locker room and all put all
- 57:44Speaker 3: the money together and say, well, here's the five million
- 57:46Speaker 3: dollars you would have made today they all get rid
- 57:49Speaker 3: of they they don't play preseason games for anything, but
- 57:52Speaker 3: that's all their profit. They get to make us play
- 57:55Speaker 3: for two thousand dollars. Man, we don't get our regular check.
- 58:01Speaker 3: Everybody in locker room with the same little twenty twenty
- 58:03Speaker 3: five hundred dollars, so they get all profit. Remember the
- 58:08Speaker 3: ticket sale, the ticket for a preseason game, and to
- 58:10Speaker 3: take it for a regissing game, same price.
- 58:12Speaker 1: It's like a television appearance and cops.
- 58:14Speaker 3: Instead of having instead of having that one hundred and
- 58:17Speaker 3: fifty million dollar budget for the week, I ain't got
- 58:21Speaker 3: but twelve hundred dollars. Everybody paid. Everybody in here, it's
- 58:24Speaker 3: free game, so it's all profit.
- 58:28Speaker 7: Yeah, what do you think they owners would try to
- 58:31Speaker 7: make those preseason games regular season game.
- 58:35Speaker 1: That's what they're slowly doing right now. That's what it is.
- 58:37Speaker 1: It's games.
- 58:39Speaker 7: They're gonna try to win the game, team together, and
- 58:42Speaker 7: it'll be two preseason it's going.
- 58:43Speaker 3: Yes, they're gonna try to make it eighteen. Just give
- 58:47Speaker 3: you the two, but the four in the preseason is
- 58:49Speaker 3: all them.
- 58:51Speaker 1: But in the package.
- 58:52Speaker 3: If I can get y'all to accept and want eighteen
- 58:54Speaker 3: more games, and I can raise the package up on
- 58:56Speaker 3: YouTube TV.
- 58:59Speaker 1: It's supplied.
- 59:00Speaker 8: Man.
- 59:00Speaker 1: They just stays out. They work.
- 59:02Speaker 3: It's a business and they run it in a great way.
- 59:05Speaker 3: The shield does. I found out why the Indiana Fever
- 59:10Speaker 3: hired Stephanie White. Stephany White was at Connecticut Sons uh
- 59:14Speaker 3: and now she's with Indiana Fever. It was seven job opening.
- 59:18Speaker 3: She got the first one. The second one went to
- 59:20Speaker 3: the assistant coach of the Aces. He is now the
- 59:23Speaker 3: head coach of the Chicago Scott. So she was with
- 59:26Speaker 3: the Connecticut son the last two seasons. Of the seven
- 59:29Speaker 3: jobs that were opened, she opened a job too. She
- 59:33Speaker 3: was an assistant. She was no no, no, no, she
- 59:36Speaker 3: was the head coach of the Okay. So they became
- 59:39Speaker 3: an opening. So still seven, No, it's it's five now
- 59:43Speaker 3: now okay, So she took one. She was one of
- 59:46Speaker 3: the seven that got fired. Right, So it was seven
- 59:49Speaker 3: jobs though the first one of the seven she got rehired,
- 59:53Speaker 3: rehired as the Indiana Fever Okay now coach. That left six.
- 59:58Speaker 3: Then who else got a job? The assistant for the
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: Aces of is now the head coach of the Chicago
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: scot Okay. And you found out exactly how she got
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: on the other side of the break. We'll talk about
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: it more to Sports Shok Show right after.
- 1:00:17Speaker 10: This Jn't Go Away board of the Sports Josh Show
- 1:00:36Speaker 10: with Wayne Gambias coming up next.
- 1:00:39Speaker 25: My simple solution to their problem was remove people from
- 1:00:43Speaker 25: the scene and help them feel safer.
- 1:00:45Speaker 26: In response to attacks against Asian Americans, Maddie Park raised
- 1:00:49Speaker 26: over two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to donate camp
- 1:00:53Speaker 26: rights to the Asian community.
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: There is so much more work to be done.
- 1:00:56Speaker 14: We really need to come together and tackle this is
- 1:00:59Speaker 14: shoe as a.
- 1:01:00Speaker 26: Community, support the Asian community, learn how at Love Has

- 1:01:09Speaker 5: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance.
- 1:01:12Speaker 11: Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 1:01:15Speaker 11: piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually
- 1:01:19Speaker 11: have life insurance.
- 1:01:20Speaker 27: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:01:22Speaker 27: just getting started with our family and thought we live forever.
- 1:01:24Speaker 27: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: What about you?
- 1:01:27Speaker 27: Will you be leaving benefits or bills? When I was forty,
- 1:01:30Speaker 27: with a kid in college and bills piling up. I
- 1:01:32Speaker 27: was worried how my family will survive without me. That's
- 1:01:34Speaker 27: what I'm in an appointment with the insurance informant.
- 1:01:37Speaker 11: Information gives you power and life insurance gives your family
- 1:01:40Speaker 11: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:01:42Speaker 27: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:01:45Speaker 27: leave my family with bills their benefits.
- 1:01:46Speaker 11: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:01:49Speaker 11: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 1:01:51Speaker 11: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:01:54Speaker 11: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:01:57Speaker 11: two options, benefits or bills.
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: Which legacy will you eat behind? Log on today benefits
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: or bills?
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Dot Com?
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: That's benefits or bills dot Com?
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: No is enough. I don't have it. Why shall share
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: your shop and we hold the world? Bransom for excuse
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: me while I whip this house broadcasting live and Atlanta, Georgia.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: This this is the sports Shot Ship with Wayne Gandy.

- 1:02:42Speaker 4: look is it just.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: I'm a do Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way.
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: You made Vegan.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Welcome back to this wy Shock show. I'm the sport
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: Shock Wayne.
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: Gay Good morning to you out there listening land Uh
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: Monday night football tonight, the b versus the Chiefs up
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: in Arrowhead, Kansas City. Four and four Bucks taking on
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: the seven and O Kansas City Chiefs tonight here in Atlanta.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: If you want to those get some basketball going in
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: your life. The Celtics will take on the Hawks here
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: in Atlanta tonight. Hawks winning lives night down in New Orleans.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: Election Tuesday is tomorrow, so we'll finally get our phones
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: back on a Wednesday, hopefully the chatter, but whoever wins
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: might be sending out a whole bunch of congratulation texts
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: and emails and thank you for your votes. Now, when
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: you see those, when you see those advertisements for four
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: years from now, for twenty twenty eight and.
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: Now we've seen them with local elections, state elections, a
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: week after the election, they're still running those ads. Is
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: that because those ads have been paid for already or
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: somebody just not doing their job down at the.
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: TV station if they're still running after Yeah, yeah, someone's
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: not doing their job. Okay, yeah, because those have expiration
- 1:04:10Speaker 7: dates on those.
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: Yeah, because I've seen that happen a week after the election,
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: they're still running the election ants and.
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: Now with YouTube, you never know. Now they might still
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: be running on YouTube. This is like sports Jock said,
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: regular airways TV. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Obviously you don't have
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: regular TV, do you. Every everything is streaming, streaming service.
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: I have regular TV.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Okay, okay, I know I'm saying. Some people don't have streaming.
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: They only have streaming service. The first time I watched UH,
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: I was visiting with my son. He has just streaming,
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: and I thought it was the first experience I had
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: with it, and I thought it was odd that there
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: were no commercials. Now they insert the commercials into the
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: free streaming services.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: And as you do, you want to pay the extra
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: dollar not to not have the commercials. But I the commercials.
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: I was like, this is just content and nobody's asking
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: me to buy anything that's going to make anything smell
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: fresh or drink something that's gonna give me more energy.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: And it seemed weird to me. You miss out on
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: the Chicken Big Map, which I and now now that
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: I've been streaming a while, I'm glad.
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: And they try to make it to where you don't
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: where it's like regular TV where you can't fast forward,
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: you can't even fast forward through the show. You have
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: to watch everything straight through commercials. You can pause, but
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: no fast forward.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: We were talking about the w NBA two hires in
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: that league, they fired seven of the thirteen coaches. Tyler
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: marsh is now the new head coach of the Chicago
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: Sky and Stephanie White is the new head coach of
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: the Indiana Fever. I was looking at it because you're
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: always trying to figure out why someone is hired sometimes
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: and a lot of times without you knowing, it is
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: a connection, especially in the college. Typically the coach you
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: bring in for the most part, probably coach there at
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: some point or played at that school at some point,
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: and you just forgot because they might have been the
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: special teams coach, so you never paid and then ten
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: years later they come back around now they're the head coach.
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: And Stephanie White, I was reading that she played at
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: Purdue where she's a Hall of Famer. She went to
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: high school in Indiana. Yes, she also was an assistant
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: coach for the Indiana Fever when they won their championship
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: the last time.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: So come full circle.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: Okay, they basically are giving the fans another.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: My grandmama hired my uncle to run the family. Yeah, okay,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: that makes sense.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: Yeah, she's a legend in Indiana on all levels. High
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: school college coach there, won a championship as assistant coach.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Now she's back.
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: Perfect per perfect business. Since perfect business make perfect business sense. Yes,
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: I've always been one of those people. If I ran
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: a team, you know, always bring one or two people
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: from your local college if you can. You're in state heroes,
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: and like I said, like I was saying with the NBA,
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: if you can keep pick number eleven and twelve, you
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: might as well make them whoever was the top player
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: in the state in the state because they're not going
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: to get in the game anyway. But you'll get a
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: couple of fans who just want to get there because
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: it's doing business and winning at the same time.
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: They go our high school hero right there on the sideline,
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: they go our local hometown hero wearing number seventeen, and
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: you know, maybe he'll get in there. And if he
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: does get in, then those two three hundred people at
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: that sixty thousand fan game are going to flip. They
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: love it, and then'll you know, they buy season tickets
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: based on that. Coaches Pole comes out tomorrow for college football. Remember,
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: this year's a twelve team playoff, so this pole will
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: definitely start deciding who will still be around. LSU plays
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: Alabama is coming weekend. Winter still has a chance for
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: this college Pole.
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: You feel like three losses, no matter what your name is,
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: you're not going to be able to get into this
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: twelve team pole. Even teams like Colorado beyond them, they
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: can win out, they can find themselves as team twelve.
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: So twelve teams does last. And I can't wait till
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: this is done. So we get that same old team
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: thirteen talking about how they could should have got in
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: because everybody thought, well, let's expect and then that'll cut
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: that out. That's not gonna do it. Man double a
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: tournament every year.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Team sixty nine, Team sixty.
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: Nine, something about it was not on the bubble, was
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: on the bubble. If they had expanded, we'd have been
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: in there.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Well we did. We went from four to to twelve.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: We's on the bubble. We was at number thirteen and
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: a half had they just justice a little bit more.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: And that's how it always will be.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: So but people just it made me laugh because everybody
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: expanded it because of that one team that got left out.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Now, somebody's gonna always get left out.
- 1:09:41Speaker 7: It's it's it's so that it's impossible. It's nearly impossible
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: to try to crown a true national champion in football.
- 1:09:50Speaker 7: It's one hundred and thirty something teams and they don't
- 1:09:53Speaker 7: all play each other.
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: Yeah, and especially on top of it's subjective based on voting.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Who bring in the money, who bring in the most money.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: That's basically what if folks don't deserve to be champion?
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: Joel Bieb gets into a fight with a columnists. And
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: I'm emphasizing columnists because, as I have shared with you
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: on the show, different than a beat writer. Sometimes we
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: bring the Orlando led Better on the Orlando is a
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: beat writer. A beat writer and a columnist have two
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: different allegiances. The beat writer typically tries to really tell
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: you the day to day they go to the building.
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: It's similar to even listening to Kevin Durant two days
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: ago when he was tellingbout Stephen A. Smith and you
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: know they've been beefing basically Durant's whole career and he
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: questions Kd's leadership and Katie, just like I've been around
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: eighteen years, I've never seen Stephen A. Smith at a
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: practice and I was thinking, wow, so basically you are
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: just pure opinion, like you you don't even go in
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: the building, and you're just Steven A. L. Smith would
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: be what you would call a columnist, mean that everything
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: he sees is from the outside.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: In based on his opinion.
- 1:11:18Speaker 7: I don't think he's done anything like that when I
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: think he used to cover the Sixers, but that was
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: at least twenty years ago, correct.
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: So you don't have any inside day to day eyes
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: on right part of this that you can question someone's leadership.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: So if you if you haven't been to practice to
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: see KD pull Big Kenny over, then how do you
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: know he's not a good leader? And because you ain't
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: see it in the game, well too, that's different. That's
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: two different formats.
- 1:11:52Speaker 6: He got sources well, and I've always been a little
- 1:11:56Speaker 6: bit incredulous about sources because people say I have sources,
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: But do you do you really have sources or is
- 1:12:04Speaker 6: something you heard somebody say that exactly at my level
- 1:12:09Speaker 6: of verifying that information is oh, boy, told my partner,
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: and my partner wouldn't tell me nothing erroneous, right, But.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: What I'm saying is for you not that. You wouldn't
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: know what leadership is if you've never been that. I
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: never watched it exactly.
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: The guy you think is not a leader, you didn't
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: when the leading moments came up. Some of the best
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: coaches I know too, but the other six days, but
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: on game day, if you watch them on the sideline,
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: they never say one negative turn. Everything is about forget
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: that last play, let's go on. They don't get over
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: there talking about while you missed that block. They move
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: on and try to keep that moment in time positive.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: So if you just watch them on honey, you think
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: there was a nice coach right.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: On the plane back, he told me, y'all meet me
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: over at the building. The coach then going to be
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: three am. Yeah, yeah, yeah, keep get your shoes out.
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: What you mean it's running right, it's three o'clock in
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: the morning though, So you missed that. But you just
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: saw him on the games. Oh, man, coach big Kenny boy,
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: he's a he's a good professional, a nice guy. Man.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: You don't know, coachman out here breaking all the rules,
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: telling us to lie about the time we've been over here.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: We've been over the two extra hours. No, he's breaking
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: the time.
- 1:13:42Speaker 6: Now, when we say that one's a columnist, one's a
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: beat writer, does that give anybody more leverage than the other. Like,
- 1:13:48Speaker 6: I know, columnists sometimes just be adding color and flavor
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: to their article to try and get people to read it.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Does that excuse some of the stuff that they say.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: Well, it's kind of like opinion of someone who about
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: children who have children and the ones that don't. Yeah,
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: that's a great a person that don't have a child.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: I mean, I know you can give you opinion from
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: what you see, but now you.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Should just let that child develop into themselves whatever. Boy,
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: shut them sit out. You know, that's two different ways looking.
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: The beat writer is a guy that every day he
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: gets to see little intricate things right right that even
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: the players might give him versus someone who's never been there.
- 1:14:34Speaker 6: He lets the injured players parking his spot so they
- 1:14:38Speaker 6: don't have to limp as far that.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after.
- 1:14:42Speaker 10: This Don't by Wayne Born of the Sports Johns Hill
- 1:14:58Speaker 10: with Wayne Gambidius coming unmasked.

- 1:15:40Speaker 5: How is your day?
- 1:15:42Speaker 15: But the real world is different. Managing life's challenges can

- 1:16:25Speaker 28: they're definitely not an excuse to take your frustrations out
- 1:16:28Speaker 28: on the official or the opponent. They're about teaching lessons
- 1:16:32Speaker 28: like perseverance, respect, and empathy so students can learn and.
- 1:16:37Speaker 5: Grow as people, not just as players.
- 1:16:40Speaker 28: We all have a role to play in setting a
- 1:16:42Speaker 28: good example for our students and teaching them these important values.
- 1:16:46Speaker 28: So fans, it's time to step up your game and
- 1:16:49Speaker 28: behave positively at interscholastic athletic events in Georgia.
- 1:16:53Speaker 22: This message presented by the GHSA and the Georgia Athletic
- 1:16:57Speaker 22: Directors Association.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy, we
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: didn't know enough.
- 1:17:12Speaker 23: I don't know that.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: Welcome back to this word shock show.
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: I'm this word shock, Wayne Gandee, who we getting into birthdays?
- 1:17:41Speaker 3: I just like to say this too, Melaiah Obama. It's
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: too late, sweetie. I'm sorry, it's too late. I know
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: I can imagine. I can imagine, but it's too late.
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: You dropping the name Obama and just going by Malaya,
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: and it's too late. They still gonna know you are
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: former President Barack Obama. It's too late.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: We can see I understand what she's.
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: Shying, and so people won't instantly you know, refer to
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: her or some kind of she letting the societal pressures
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: or whatever in that po and she's trying to get
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: her own path. I think she's a director or a
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: producer in some different movies or things like that. But
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: you know, everybody's trying to figure out why you got
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: this intern for Steven Spielberg that nobody seems to be
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: aheit and you ain't even got your college degree yet.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: But it is too late, right now, right now.
- 1:18:59Speaker 6: And on top of it being too late, think it
- 1:19:02Speaker 6: ought to be criminal. I think it ought to be
- 1:19:05Speaker 6: against the United States constitution, punishable by fines an imprisonment
- 1:19:10Speaker 6: for you to have a daddy that was president of
- 1:19:14Speaker 6: the United States and you be talking about I don't
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: want nobody to give me no preference.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: Treat that she's going by Malaya Anne. Now go sit
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: down somewhere, girl. Do you know that?
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: Do you know how many generations we worked to be
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: able to walk in and drop the Obama name and
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: some doors open up, And now you're talking about take
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: that off so I could be treated like a regular person.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: She doesn't want, she doesn't want the free reservation. You
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: can go back to Nigeria.
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: That no, Malaya and Melia Ann don't don't, don't, don't stop.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: Now, no sweet, don't go back to Nigeria.
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: They got twenty nine children might be sentenced to death
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: for protesting against the cost of living. Gone gone that,
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: my lie, And don't don't let us hold you back
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: with that, with that the stress of the Obama name. Yeah,
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: she doesn't like how y'all just you know, give her preference.
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: Trea cater to that girl slappy. She went on her
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: own accord.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: She wanted to earn that reservation.
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: Just just Malia, get yourself some good running shoes, put
- 1:20:20Speaker 6: them on, just running to the Elijah and yes, you too,
- 1:20:25Speaker 6: get her a pair of shoes too, and just run
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: your face into a wall.
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: A couple of birthdays here from yesterday and today. Let's
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: get the elephant out of the room real quickly. Diddy

- 1:20:57Speaker 1: You sure? Do you get? Cake in jail.
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: Hopefully they remember, hopefully not jam. It was not the
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: place you want people to be on something. Hey, I

- 1:21:41Speaker 3: five years old. Tyrese Maxie is twenty four of the Sixers,
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: Kathy Griffin, the comedian actress sixty four dance Brianan And
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: when I saw this, my heart went out the desk.
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: Imagine you haven't been in the league and you just
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: only thirty six. Think about that last time, you know.
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: He came back about three years ago for like a quarter.
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: He played for the Ravens, but he basically hasn't had
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: a career since he was thirty. That's just went out
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: he didn't have a career thirty six years old. Speaking
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: of former presidents, Laura Bush First Lady, she's seventy eight,

- 1:22:56Speaker 3: and all those guys couldn't catch with one hand.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: That used to be an extra. Lap ball security was
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: a maximum. They used to let you hit.
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: So when you went to catch the ball, them guys
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: was gonna come up and hit you, so you you
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: didn't practice catching the ball with one hand. It's kind
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: of like the NBA before the eighties. There was no
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: three point line, right, so we don't know them guys
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: can shoot threes or not. There was no three point line.
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: But yeah, OBJ thirty two. Jason Kelsey as we just
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: spoke about it. Thirty seven Bethany Frankel is fifty for

- 1:24:27Speaker 3: Kendall Jenner that's Chris Jenner's daughter is twenty nine, and
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: R and B star L May is thirty is l
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: May Big Kenny. Only one shift of work is available.
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: It's kind of cool and close to election Tuesday, so
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: it's only gonna be one shift tonight of work.
- 1:24:50Speaker 20: In the.
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: In the in the spirit of continuity, I'm gonna have
- 1:24:56Speaker 6: to go with Chris Jenner and then in the spirit
- 1:24:58Speaker 6: of the leafy fall off from the tree. But yeah,
- 1:25:02Speaker 6: but Kendall this, she'll be along soon. You see what
- 1:25:05Speaker 6: I'm saying, That we don't fall off off of the tree.
- 1:25:07Speaker 6: I'm gonna start at the top to develop a point
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: of reference. So by the time I get to Kim,
- 1:25:13Speaker 6: I could be in my Kanye mode. You see what
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: I'm saying. By the time Kendall roll around, I'll be
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: settled and I'll be you know, because I gotta go
- 1:25:20Speaker 6: through my Scott District phase with Courtney.
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: You see what I'm saying. But I gotta start at
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: thirty years younger. Though that's all right, that's all right.
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: I mean I ain't trying to actually forty younger. Yeah,
- 1:25:32Speaker 3: I'm not trying to do back to back games anyway. Sports,
- 1:25:35Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying, We're gonna We're gonna start
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: with with with some divisional opponents.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: We'll be back. She said divisional. That we're gonna start divisional.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: Then we're gonna go outside our division pretty cheap. And
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: he shows up, Wait, don't bowl Wayne.

- 1:26:15Speaker 25: only see who I am on paper. The paper ceiling,

- 1:28:19Speaker 24: You've have been given full access to the players Lounge
- 1:28:22Speaker 24: on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: Yeah, baby boy Recter the Sportshock Show. I'm the Sportshock
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: Wayne Gandy. Monday Night Football, as we said, Tampa Bay,
- 1:28:53Speaker 3: Kansas City yesterday, Miami losing to Buffalo to a tackle.
- 1:28:58Speaker 3: They Oh, I had a pretty good game yesterday. Him
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: and Joe excuse me, Josh Allen played pretty well in
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: this game, thirty twenty seven bills over the Dolphins. And
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: it's a lot of these teams that we thought were
- 1:29:13Speaker 3: gonna make a lot of noise this year finding themselves
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: in the Travis Hunter sweep stakes. At this moment, a
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: lot of these teams are two and six, two and seven,
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: one in eight, some teams that really really are gonna
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: be confusing when the draft, because you know, the first
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: thing they'd like to believe is all the sorry teams
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: need a quarterback. Well, you're gonna have teams that just
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: gave away a half a billion dollars to a quarterback,
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: So they're not gonna need the you know, cam Ward
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: or George Sanders or the young man back up there,
- 1:29:50Speaker 3: Georgia and mill. Yeah, they're gonna have all these quarterbacks already.
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: I mean, the Dolphins will have a big decision the Cowboys. Uh,
- 1:30:00Speaker 3: but with some of these teams different Dolphins look like
- 1:30:03Speaker 3: they could do some things. But the Cowboys will be
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: sitting there with the first pick. And who do y'all
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: get if you have the first pick, Jerry, if we
- 1:30:17Speaker 3: get the first draft, owner might as well get Travis,
- 1:30:22Speaker 3: might well get somebody else to run the team.
- 1:30:25Speaker 7: He'll be some blockbuster deal to get shadur in there,
- 1:30:27Speaker 7: and then Dion will become the He'll they'll say, we'll
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: bring you in as a defensive coordinator, but he wants
- 1:30:36Speaker 7: to be the head coach.
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: So now there's a yeah, he'll be coordinator.
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: Deon has never been on He's never actually even though
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: he Hall of Fame defense, he always was the offensive coordinator.
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: When he got to high school, he was the offensive coordinator.
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: And now you know did that, then he'll want that.
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: But he doesn't want that.
- 1:30:55Speaker 7: He wants to be the head coach. So now there's
- 1:30:57Speaker 7: gotta Now there's more. There's because I was just complicated.
- 1:31:01Speaker 3: And yesterday at the Falcons game, we were trying to
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: figure out who what team did Deon go into the
- 1:31:08Speaker 3: Hall of Fame?
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: Masks? Do they do that for the pro football of it?
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: Like as far as like like a certain team, Yeah,
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: you go in as a certain teams.
- 1:31:22Speaker 7: So as I know that was always you know, I
- 1:31:24Speaker 7: knew that was the case for baseball because because but
- 1:31:28Speaker 7: I didn't see that, I know that was the case
- 1:31:30Speaker 7: for for uh, for football.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: I believe.
- 1:31:38Speaker 7: Every team he claimed, every team he played for would
- 1:31:41Speaker 7: claim him, even even the Ravens and he played.
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm saying I think you have to declare. We
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: can look it up doing the break similar to basketball, right.
- 1:31:52Speaker 6: Yeah, because they have someone from that team come and
- 1:31:56Speaker 6: introduce them, don't they.
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: Well they you could have anybody introduce you, Okay, I think, yeah, man,
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: we'll figure out.
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: We couldn't figure out what dion which team he went
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: in and comand she saying maybe it's not even a
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: route in football, and that I I always thought you
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: went in as a certain player.
- 1:32:15Speaker 7: I did too, Yeah, yeah, yeah, I knew those case
- 1:32:18Speaker 7: for baseball because on your plock they have the hat,
- 1:32:21Speaker 7: so you pick, you pick.
- 1:32:23Speaker 3: Anytime I've been to the Hall of Fame, whatever team
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: the guy went under, the three times I've gone that
- 1:32:30Speaker 3: team and all those players tend to be more of
- 1:32:33Speaker 3: the group that's at the party the night before, not
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: saying the other team. Players from other teams are not there.
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: The most people that team group, the GM and all
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: that is all there based on how you go under.
- 1:32:50Speaker 3: But we'll look that up on the break, COMANCHI, Greg,
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: Who else do we have?
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: Yesterday?
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: The Raiders losing to the Ingles forty one twenty four.
- 1:33:02Speaker 3: Gardner Minshew Desmond Ridder both got in the game yesterday.
- 1:33:07Speaker 3: Not bad games for these gentlemen, meaning nobody threw an
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: interception one touchdown thrown by Ridder. They have fired the
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: offensive coordinator for the Raiders. The Raiders are two and seven.
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: Earlier.
- 1:33:26Speaker 7: No, I mean well, they along with the officive coordinator,
- 1:33:29Speaker 7: they fired the QB coach, offensive line coach.
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: That was all last night.
- 1:33:34Speaker 3: Yeah, they got rid of two assistants, the old line
- 1:33:36Speaker 3: coach and the quarterback coach. And I think the guy
- 1:33:39Speaker 3: name was Luke Getsy. Getsy was the offensive coordinator. So
- 1:33:45Speaker 3: that happened yesterday, twenty four forty one. I think the
- 1:33:48Speaker 3: Raiders are getting ready for the top quarterback.
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: In the draft. They're two and I'm just saying that's
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 1:33:58Speaker 3: You got some teams you thought was gonna be probably
- 1:34:01Speaker 3: right at playoffs or the Cup of Playoffs finding themselves
- 1:34:05Speaker 3: on one of those five six wins, top ten picks
- 1:34:10Speaker 3: coming up here this season.
- 1:34:12Speaker 7: Way, there's very few teams that are in the market
- 1:34:17Speaker 7: for eight quarterback now as far our going into next
- 1:34:21Speaker 7: year that they're one of them.
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: But I think it may be only like three or
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: four teams.
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: Yesterday, Baltimore hosting Denver forty one to ten. In this game,
- 1:34:34Speaker 3: bo Nick sacked four times through an interceptions, no touchdown.
- 1:34:39Speaker 3: Our man Lamar Jackson keeping on his MVP ways bounce back.
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: Game six and three are the Ravens this year. But
- 1:34:52Speaker 3: Lamar Jackson, you would have to think is the front
- 1:34:54Speaker 3: runner for MVP at this point. I man, Derrick Henry
- 1:34:58Speaker 3: went over one hundred yards rushing again, just an outstanding
- 1:35:03Speaker 3: career and definitely can just keep running from Baltimore or
- 1:35:07Speaker 3: to Canton, and I guess he would probably go in
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: well right now, he would go in as a Titan
- 1:35:14Speaker 3: for sure.
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Now in.
- 1:35:21Speaker 6: A situation and I lost my training thoughts sports jock,
- 1:35:24Speaker 6: you were talking about Derrick Henry, and before that you
- 1:35:27Speaker 6: mentioned who was that that you said just got beat?
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: The Raiders lost to Cincinnati, and now Denver lost to Baldi.
- 1:35:35Speaker 6: Denver, that's who it was. We have Bot Knicks back
- 1:35:39Speaker 6: there quarterbacking for Denver. His long stint in college ultimately
- 1:35:44Speaker 6: has to shorten his NFL career. No, you don't think
- 1:35:50Speaker 6: that that would shorten it? And I mean how many
- 1:35:52Speaker 6: years can you a guy who played what six eight
- 1:35:55Speaker 6: years in college? Six years in college can do how
- 1:36:00Speaker 6: many well? As a quarterback that's a different position. Okay, yeah,
- 1:36:03Speaker 6: you still go to twelve fourteen quarterback. I forgot his
- 1:36:08Speaker 6: quarterback then. I mean Joe Flacco is what thirty seven,
- 1:36:11Speaker 6: thirty eight? Yeah, yeah, yeah, quarterback, he's gonna get fifteen
- 1:36:16Speaker 6: years this year, seventeen for Flacoh yeah up there, yeah, yeah.
- 1:36:19Speaker 6: They stick around a long time. Now, if he was
- 1:36:21Speaker 6: a running back that would be or a safety, then
- 1:36:25Speaker 6: you'd be thinking okay, because their expiration data is typically
- 1:36:29Speaker 6: about thirty two, right for a good safety or running
- 1:36:35Speaker 6: back is about thirty Based on how much you've been used,
- 1:36:40Speaker 6: you can get about eight.
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: Years of high level work out of one.
- 1:36:45Speaker 3: So yeah, yeah, So in that case right there, Cleveland
- 1:36:50Speaker 3: and the Chargers yesterday, the Chargers have now gotten their
- 1:36:55Speaker 3: record up to five and three quiet leaders.
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: The quiet year for the Chargers.
- 1:37:01Speaker 3: This last couple of years, they had a little more
- 1:37:03Speaker 3: fanfare and I thought even bringing hardball in was gonna
- 1:37:06Speaker 3: they kind of going underneath the red ard.
- 1:37:08Speaker 6: Think that's part of Jeans, but that's part of their
- 1:37:12Speaker 6: strategy that we don't need a hold munch of the cameras,
- 1:37:15Speaker 6: we don't need a whole bunch of storylines and sound bites.
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: We just will see you in the playoffs.
- 1:37:20Speaker 7: They're not doing so much. They're not leaning so hard
- 1:37:24Speaker 7: on Justin Herbert to do everything and cover all.
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: And that's what I was about to say. Yesterday only
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: threw the ball twenty.
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: Seven times, and we're talking about the guy that was
- 1:37:36Speaker 3: definitely up there about forty five times. That's all they
- 1:37:39Speaker 3: were doing, was kind of like I was saying with Dak.
- 1:37:41Speaker 3: They was just driving back, throwing the ball down the field.
- 1:37:45Speaker 3: But twenty seven to ten, Jameis Winston got back to
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: Jameis Winston and if there's any embodiment that, truly this
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: is man telling you in all the years of playing
- 1:38:02Speaker 3: and why, I've never seen a guy so equally great
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: and terrible. There's never been a quarterback. There's never been
- 1:38:12Speaker 3: a player that was great and terrible the same time
- 1:38:17Speaker 3: at the same time.
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: If you know one in.
- 1:38:20Speaker 3: Real time, we great one year and then terrible the
- 1:38:25Speaker 3: next year. Not next year, right, we're talking about in
- 1:38:28Speaker 3: real time the same date, ain't you ain't like he
- 1:38:31Speaker 3: was good in the first half of the season, then
- 1:38:33Speaker 3: they took a turn. No, I was great that last play.
- 1:38:37Speaker 7: Watch this though, you're not You're not going to see
- 1:38:41Speaker 7: seasons like that, like the year he threw thirty interceptions.
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: He also threw for five thousand yards.
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: So yesterday he threw a touchdown and three interceptions right
- 1:38:52Speaker 3: after we just was last week talking about how great
- 1:38:56Speaker 3: he looked. And I told y'all at the end of
- 1:38:58Speaker 3: that last game where it was like night and day.
- 1:39:01Speaker 3: Once again he can give you that. And that's been
- 1:39:04Speaker 3: his career. That has literally been his career where by
- 1:39:10Speaker 3: the time you applaud him, you brewing him, they go
- 1:39:15Speaker 3: from hand to hand. James Winston, do you think it's
- 1:39:18Speaker 3: a mental thing with him, like he just can't see
- 1:39:21Speaker 3: himself staying great, Like I'm gonna be great.
- 1:39:25Speaker 7: But I'm man, I don't know something great and then
- 1:39:30Speaker 7: try to outdo that instead of looking at okay, what
- 1:39:35Speaker 7: worked and let's do that again.
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: No, I gotta do more than that. And then he's
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: doing too much.
- 1:39:42Speaker 3: I just never seen a man go consistently every year.
- 1:39:49Speaker 3: Man one week four touchdown, next week four interception, like
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: you said, might be by the play. It's good and bad.
- 1:39:58Speaker 3: And that's James Winston. Twenty seven to ten, Chargers losing,
- 1:40:02Speaker 3: I mean Chargers winning in this game. The Browns now
- 1:40:06Speaker 3: are two and seven. They're gonna have a big question
- 1:40:09Speaker 3: what to do with Deshaun Watson, who they still owe
- 1:40:13Speaker 3: about half of that contract and guaranteed money when this
- 1:40:18Speaker 3: season is over. So do they go get a court at?
- 1:40:20Speaker 3: A lot of interesting storylines for the offseason. Dud dude,
- 1:40:24Speaker 3: Still they even got to the playoffs? Do they go
- 1:40:26Speaker 3: get a court? F F F Cleveland need a quarterback?
- 1:40:29Speaker 3: Deshaun You going to pick him up.
- 1:40:31Speaker 1: And you're gonna be a driver. You go get it.
- 1:40:34Speaker 1: I ain't going to get nobody. We'll be back right
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: after this.

- 1:43:41Speaker 3: alternate broadcast where the Cowboys and Bengals game will be
- 1:43:48Speaker 3: made as animation.
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: Is that correct? Yes?
- 1:43:53Speaker 3: So I get to see dak as a cartoon, right,
- 1:43:57Speaker 3: Well that's what I saw yesterday?
- 1:43:59Speaker 1: Get it? Yeah? Ah no, no, he's not going I
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: liked it.
- 1:44:08Speaker 3: And which cartoon characters are these? Commanding Greg Sports Shop?
- 1:44:11Speaker 1: He said the Simpsons.
- 1:44:13Speaker 3: Simpson So we're going to see a Simpson. Well, Jerry
- 1:44:18Speaker 3: Jones is definitely mister Burns definitely, So I suppose it'll work.
- 1:44:26Speaker 1: And you said it did it last year? Yeah, it
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: was the I know the Falcons played a game in
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: London last year. I know it. It was that game.
- 1:44:34Speaker 7: I think they played Jacksonville. But it was in the
- 1:44:36Speaker 7: style of toy story. So you saw them at you
- 1:44:40Speaker 7: saw the players as toys, but they had the logos
- 1:44:43Speaker 7: and everything, and they show exactly what whatever play happened,
- 1:44:47Speaker 7: That's what they showed. And yeah, it was in that style.
- 1:44:51Speaker 7: So they're doing the Simpsons. I think they did another
- 1:44:54Speaker 7: one the year before. I don't recall which, and I
- 1:44:59Speaker 7: don't I feel was a film or TV show that
- 1:45:01Speaker 7: they use. But I think this is the third one,
- 1:45:04Speaker 7: I believe.
- 1:45:05Speaker 3: And we are finding out Oscar Leon, the gentleman that
- 1:45:11Speaker 3: sculpted the statue of d Wade.
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: He has come out.
- 1:45:17Speaker 3: He says, and I'm quoting to the critics, there is
- 1:45:22Speaker 3: excuse me, to the critics, there's a lot that needs
- 1:45:25Speaker 3: to be understood. We have to seal everything he's talking
- 1:45:30Speaker 3: about the statue to keep the integrity of the sculpture. However,
- 1:45:35Speaker 3: that creates a funny little side effect of being glossy
- 1:45:39Speaker 3: in areas that we are not used to seeing when
- 1:45:43Speaker 3: we see somebody in the flesh, the seller definitely creates
- 1:45:50Speaker 3: a little bit of mis understanding to the eye. We
- 1:45:56Speaker 3: also have Dwayne Wade saying that he spent a lot
- 1:45:59Speaker 3: of time with this gentleman as they tried to sculpt
- 1:46:03Speaker 3: this picture. It was of a moment of his career
- 1:46:07Speaker 3: when he hit a big three to win a game
- 1:46:14Speaker 3: that he was trying to capture in that moment, and
- 1:46:20Speaker 3: I kind of referenced that when I was talking about it,
- 1:46:22Speaker 3: that they were trying to make this appute. When you
- 1:46:25Speaker 3: look at it, it is very detailed, and I think
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: the more detailed you try to make the sculpture, the
- 1:46:37Speaker 3: more out of being able to make it look like
- 1:46:41Speaker 3: you you. And in this picture you see Dwayne. He
- 1:46:45Speaker 3: got the veins in his necks, his bulging, he got
- 1:46:49Speaker 3: his teeth, he has his tongue, he has his go tee.
- 1:46:52Speaker 3: He has the go tee looking like it's eight pieces
- 1:46:55Speaker 3: of hair on there. The face is the os is
- 1:47:00Speaker 3: wrinkled when you get close in on it. It is
- 1:47:03Speaker 3: a very detailed picture where he was trying to capture
- 1:47:08Speaker 3: that moment for Dwayne Wade. So my thing is until
- 1:47:15Speaker 3: Dwayne Wade complains about.
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: It, who are we?
- 1:47:18Speaker 6: Yeah, And I don't know if you remember when we
- 1:47:21Speaker 6: first when we first saw the statue, I asked, is
- 1:47:25Speaker 6: this when they commission these? Is this something that they
- 1:47:28Speaker 6: want to be, like an identical rendition or is this
- 1:47:32Speaker 6: something that the artists feel comfortable putting their artistic sensibilities on.
- 1:47:38Speaker 6: And from what this man is saying, this is definitely
- 1:47:42Speaker 6: an artistic sensibility state, like we were going for something
- 1:47:47Speaker 6: that you didn't see as a untrained eye.
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: I suppose a more detailed statue and it's supposed to
- 1:47:55Speaker 3: be for the March nine, two thousand and nine game
- 1:47:59Speaker 3: where d Wade he won the game with a three
- 1:48:02Speaker 3: at the end. He finished that game with forty eight points,
- 1:48:05Speaker 3: twelve assists, four steals, three blocks. He jumped up on
- 1:48:10Speaker 3: the scores table. I'm just giving people the visual remembering
- 1:48:13Speaker 3: when this happens, remember and said, this is my house.
- 1:48:18Speaker 3: This was against the bulls.
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:48:20Speaker 7: I think he made it three from like it was
- 1:48:23Speaker 7: like a run, a one legged three pointer at the buzzer.
- 1:48:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:48:26Speaker 3: Yeah, And that's the that's the moment they were trying
- 1:48:28Speaker 3: to capture uh in this this statue.
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: But so the way's okay with it.
- 1:48:37Speaker 3: It's still say, it's still out in front of When
- 1:48:39Speaker 3: you got a statue out in front of an arena,
- 1:48:43Speaker 3: you know, to be complaining about get your statue up.
- 1:48:48Speaker 3: As they say, still don't look like you, though, I
- 1:48:51Speaker 3: mean that's what that's what his friends will say, Still
- 1:48:53Speaker 3: don't look like you.
- 1:48:54Speaker 1: Brou find the statue that looks like the person.
- 1:48:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess only the ones whereas the old fashioned
- 1:49:03Speaker 3: everything is closed. Yes, there is no rilled the bus,
- 1:49:07Speaker 3: but they do. Where's no real detail to it. It's
- 1:49:11Speaker 3: just the smooth skin in that way. But this right
- 1:49:14Speaker 3: here is so detailed. I can see how he lost.
- 1:49:17Speaker 3: And I would have to go look at the original
- 1:49:19Speaker 3: picture of the wade in this moment, because maybe that's
- 1:49:23Speaker 3: what his face did look like that day. You know,
- 1:49:27Speaker 3: in twenty two thousand and nine. He's used a lot
- 1:49:29Speaker 3: of body cream since then, he's changed a little.
- 1:49:33Speaker 1: Bit, right, he did, Yeah, he did. Gabrielle. He had
- 1:49:36Speaker 1: even married Gap then, had he. I don't even know
- 1:49:39Speaker 1: if they met yet.
- 1:49:40Speaker 3: Yeah, he ain't even get around her makeup routine in
- 1:49:44Speaker 3: the morning and night when they wake.
- 1:49:46Speaker 1: Up softening his beard. She hadn't worked on that yet.
- 1:49:51Speaker 3: So that is the wade and interesting story with Drake
- 1:49:56Speaker 3: and Damar DeRozan some beef between Canada and California and
- 1:50:04Speaker 3: the Martin Rosen is from Calari right, yes, and all
- 1:50:08Speaker 3: this started back with the Kendrick Lamar.
- 1:50:11Speaker 1: Incident.
- 1:50:13Speaker 7: Yeah, based on tomorrow. There wasn't being in Kendrick Lamar's
- 1:50:17Speaker 7: video or not like us and and and let me
- 1:50:22Speaker 7: before we go to break put it all in perspective.
- 1:50:26Speaker 3: So you got a billionaire and Drake and then like
- 1:50:33Speaker 3: a guy like the Marty Rosen, by the time he finished,
- 1:50:35Speaker 3: he'd be on made a half a billion, and then
- 1:50:38Speaker 3: Kendrick Lamar on probably make two three hundred million in
- 1:50:42Speaker 3: his life.
- 1:50:43Speaker 1: They pillar fighting, stop it. It's not that's it's more
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: energetic than that. It's it's more beef than that. Who's
- 1:50:53Speaker 1: who's playing is bigger? What could what did they go to?
- 1:50:58Speaker 1: What those things? I don't even see how that would
- 1:51:01Speaker 1: come up. Of course, y'all. Guy's own whole blocks.
- 1:51:07Speaker 3: It's about it's about you go jogging around your properties
- 1:51:10Speaker 3: just for conditioning.
- 1:51:11Speaker 7: It's about a false sense of of of loyalty. Drake
- 1:51:16Speaker 7: expected Tomor to be loyal to him because he played
- 1:51:19Speaker 7: for the team in Canada.
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: It's the six there anymore.
- 1:51:28Speaker 9: What is it?
- 1:51:29Speaker 1: I get so angry when you downplay this. It's about feeling.
- 1:51:33Speaker 3: This is this is this is real beef in the streets. Okay,
- 1:51:39Speaker 3: we're out here. I'm rolling up on the I'm walking
- 1:51:45Speaker 3: my ops down.
- 1:51:46Speaker 1: Stop it.
- 1:51:51Speaker 5: But the dude knows the streets ain't no kiddy game.
- 1:51:53Speaker 27: You don't know the dude Quinty's first name.
- 1:51:55Speaker 8: He told me.
- 1:51:56Speaker 1: I keep doing what you're doing.
- 1:51:57Speaker 5: Man, don't give a damn the squidding in his name.
- 1:52:01Speaker 1: Don't bowl.

- 1:53:25Speaker 5: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:53:28Speaker 27: When I was forty, with a kid in college and

- 1:54:59Speaker 3: Welcome back to this what show. I'm just wat shot
- 1:55:01Speaker 3: Wayne Gandy. Big shout out for our man Bob Costas.
- 1:55:05Speaker 3: Bob Costas is stepping away from play by play at
- 1:55:10Speaker 3: the forty four years and probably fifty years of dyeing
- 1:55:16Speaker 3: his hair. Is Bob Costa? Remember got that for the Olympics.
- 1:55:21Speaker 3: He had got in with some boatox and got on
- 1:55:24Speaker 3: the plane too early and he missed his eye up
- 1:55:27Speaker 3: and he or something like that. Bob was dedicated to
- 1:55:32Speaker 3: his cat craft.
- 1:55:33Speaker 1: Hey he was.
- 1:55:34Speaker 6: I used that Boatox too early on the plane. Excuse
- 1:55:37Speaker 6: for my probation officer at the boat Ox. Bro, I
- 1:55:42Speaker 6: don't need no drug test man that might interact with
- 1:55:45Speaker 6: the boattock.
- 1:55:46Speaker 3: Bob Costa stepping away, a voice that we heard in
- 1:55:50Speaker 3: so many big moments of our life, Bob seventy two.
- 1:55:54Speaker 3: And it seems that maybe Nick Saban and our man
- 1:56:01Speaker 3: Bill Belichick has kicked off. I saw Bill Belichick for Halloween.
- 1:56:06Speaker 3: He was a fisherman and he had his little girlfriend.
- 1:56:10Speaker 3: She was a mermaid. He was out at the you know,
- 1:56:12Speaker 3: they were role playing, and caught me one they was
- 1:56:15Speaker 3: out at the beach.
- 1:56:17Speaker 1: He had the.
- 1:56:18Speaker 3: Pole, had a sink like Ariel. I'm saying Bob probably
- 1:56:24Speaker 3: saw that picture like man, you know what.
- 1:56:26Speaker 1: Man Punu fortunate saw this.
- 1:56:28Speaker 3: Flying around the world at seventy two. I'm gonna get
- 1:56:32Speaker 3: me some of his life.
- 1:56:33Speaker 1: You give me some of his life. He's more life
- 1:56:36Speaker 1: than spots because he probably got some ungrateful kids that
- 1:56:39Speaker 1: he don't realize. Why I'm stop piling all this money.
- 1:56:42Speaker 3: All this money, man, they blowing it already. They already
- 1:56:46Speaker 3: messing the money up, because you know that's you know,
- 1:56:48Speaker 3: it's dads and moms, you think. But then you gotta reflect,
- 1:56:52Speaker 3: lil long enough to see how your kids really feel
- 1:56:54Speaker 3: about you. Bob probably was like a little bit. You know,
- 1:56:58Speaker 3: he probably said some choice words. And even if they care,
- 1:57:03Speaker 3: they don't mean they're good with money. My kid loved
- 1:57:07Speaker 3: me to death. But they'll blow a stack town. They will,
- 1:57:11Speaker 3: like I mean, because they ain't gotta earn it. Really,
- 1:57:13Speaker 3: they just be looking at me like you ain't.
- 1:57:14Speaker 1: Gonna get this.
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: Nom Jet's rookie Malachi Coraley Uh on the game the
- 1:57:22Speaker 3: other night, Big Kenny for you?
- 1:57:24Speaker 1: Uh that that was Thursday night?
- 1:57:27Speaker 9: Right?
- 1:57:27Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:57:28Speaker 3: Yes, okay, because you want to us skip that or
- 1:57:30Speaker 3: you want us talk about you know, No, I didn't
- 1:57:34Speaker 3: know which one because he was quiet like command cheese
- 1:57:36Speaker 3: when I brought up if it won't you know Brom
- 1:57:41Speaker 3: saying bro, no something, ask you do you want to
- 1:57:44Speaker 3: talk about?
- 1:57:45Speaker 1: They had it on. I'm saying you it was you
- 1:57:50Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. We did what we want we
- 1:57:52Speaker 1: were supposed to do well.
- 1:57:54Speaker 3: Malachi just to Coraley once again young men as they
- 1:58:03Speaker 3: used to run and hand the ball to the official,
- 1:58:10Speaker 3: the Barry Sanders, the EMMITTT.
- 1:58:12Speaker 1: Smith.
- 1:58:13Speaker 3: You'll never catch Emmitt Smith doing this because emmittt took
- 1:58:17Speaker 3: all his balls home. Do like Emmittt, he took all
- 1:58:20Speaker 3: his touchdowns home with he never he didn't slam it
- 1:58:23Speaker 3: on the ground. He didn't he he always kept it
- 1:58:27Speaker 3: like he was. He was letting you know. He was
- 1:58:29Speaker 3: letting the equipment man know that he kept it in
- 1:58:33Speaker 3: that same grip, Barry Sanders, but like he didn't care.
- 1:58:39Speaker 3: He just go toss it to whoever. But some of
- 1:58:41Speaker 3: y'all need to get that back in your programs. Guys
- 1:58:46Speaker 3: are so quick to need to want to show you
- 1:58:48Speaker 3: to celebrate, or to show up the guy like, ooh,
- 1:58:52Speaker 3: you can't catch me, So I'm gonna slow up the
- 1:58:54Speaker 3: last five yards and.
- 1:58:57Speaker 1: Let you knock.
- 1:58:57Speaker 3: Then let you knocked the ball out, or I go
- 1:59:01Speaker 3: to celebrate. And just that's what happened with this young man.
- 1:59:04Speaker 3: He's drying and then he slowed up and went to
- 1:59:06Speaker 3: high stepping, and before he got across the gold line,
- 1:59:09Speaker 3: he dropped the ball similar to a Kyle Pitts the
- 1:59:12Speaker 3: week before.
- 1:59:13Speaker 1: Down man, I'm just just run.
- 1:59:16Speaker 3: If you run like I'm gonna hand the ball to
- 1:59:18Speaker 3: the ref, you'll never miss out on the touchdown.
- 1:59:22Speaker 6: And now there there has to be some sort of penalty,
- 1:59:27Speaker 6: and that is placed on a player like that by
- 1:59:30Speaker 6: the team. It's more than just I'm embarrassed and oh man,
- 1:59:33Speaker 6: my bad. Do teams find you? Are you threatened with
- 1:59:38Speaker 6: being cut?
- 1:59:38Speaker 3: I mean because a lot of these in college it
- 1:59:41Speaker 3: could be one of those you can run right because
- 1:59:43Speaker 3: I might vent you and pros it ends up being.
- 1:59:46Speaker 1: It's not a fine. It's not like in the collective
- 1:59:49Speaker 1: body agreement. You can you can find I.
- 1:59:52Speaker 6: Mean because some of these, some of these lapses in
- 1:59:55Speaker 6: judgment have cost teams the game.
- 1:59:58Speaker 1: Yeah, so what what can I do to you? Just
- 2:00:01Speaker 1: squaff with you in the locker room? What can I do?
- 2:00:04Speaker 1: What the players might do that? Maybe I'm saying I'm
- 2:00:07Speaker 1: paying you though.
- 2:00:08Speaker 3: I ought to be able to I ould to be
- 2:00:10Speaker 3: able to get that one free punch in the chest something. Then,
- 2:00:13Speaker 3: come on, bro, there's three hundred billion dollars in in
- 2:00:18Speaker 3: in just salary alone, and you dropped the ball.
- 2:00:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I ought to be able to swing at you.
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I'm sorry, though, you're gonna be something.
- 2:00:27Speaker 3: And an interesting story. We're gonna let breathe another couple
- 2:00:29Speaker 3: of days. Here is NBA starred Jackson Hayes, who plays
- 2:00:32Speaker 3: for the Lakers. His twenty twenty one incident the video.
- 2:00:38Speaker 3: We'll talk about this later in the week. Bick Kenny,
- 2:00:40Speaker 3: if you help me, remember, uh, this case had been settled,
- 2:00:46Speaker 3: went through the wall chain and everything right that whatever
- 2:00:50Speaker 3: the court system said had been laid out.
- 2:00:53Speaker 1: It's three years ago. The NBA did whatever they did.
- 2:00:55Speaker 3: Now that the video has come up, now the NBA
- 2:00:58Speaker 3: is saying they're gonna launch an investigation for the same
- 2:01:04Speaker 3: in that double jeopardy and that what they call double.
- 2:01:07Speaker 1: Court of law it is.
- 2:01:09Speaker 6: I don't know how to the NBA do once it
- 2:01:12Speaker 6: goes through court, no matter how it if you are fine,
- 2:01:15Speaker 6: found innocent in a court of law or it is
- 2:01:21Speaker 6: a mistrial with prejudice, you can't bring those charges again.
- 2:01:28Speaker 6: So I don't know what the NBA leverage is here.
- 2:01:32Speaker 6: But what was the case concerning what did he do
- 2:01:34Speaker 6: incident with a domestic violence with his girlfriend? And now
- 2:01:38Speaker 6: they say they now that they seen it on tape,
- 2:01:41Speaker 6: now we want to reinvestigate.
- 2:01:42Speaker 1: He got me on tape and we are in the ocean.
- 2:01:48Speaker 5: The truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 2:01:52Speaker 24: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Judge
- 2:01:55Speaker 24: Show with Wayney.
- 2:02:25Speaker 3: When you decide that older, you're to get the sports
- 2:02:27Speaker 3: shop just a minute to vent breaking news for some
- 2:02:30Speaker 3: of you who that Nations the Saints have fired Dennis
- 2:02:34Speaker 3: Allen this morning. You kind of saw that hammer coming
- 2:02:38Speaker 3: down in New Orleans. So let it begin, baby fire,
- 2:02:43Speaker 3: and season is in. Before when the show started, we
- 2:02:47Speaker 3: talked about who did we think from our board here
- 2:02:51Speaker 3: may win? And every year we have four votes in,
- 2:02:57Speaker 3: two for Trump and two for half Haris so kind
- 2:03:01Speaker 3: of like the.
- 2:03:02Speaker 1: Poles are saying, we got that, we got the arm wrestle.
- 2:03:11Speaker 3: So it should be a long exciting day tomorrow on
- 2:03:17Speaker 3: Election Tuesday. But for a lot of us in this country,
- 2:03:20Speaker 3: it's time to get this over and move on and
- 2:03:24Speaker 3: hopefully one side this time around will support a little
- 2:03:28Speaker 3: better than the last. But coming onto my ship today,
- 2:03:33Speaker 3: we've been playing his music all day long, and I
- 2:03:38Speaker 3: thought about it. I don't think we have a legendary
- 2:03:41Speaker 3: producer on both a gentleman that is an icon of
- 2:03:46Speaker 3: music whose first album dropped in nineteen fifty six.
- 2:03:52Speaker 1: This is how I feel about jazz.
- 2:03:56Speaker 3: The great legendary Quincy Jones, and I guess his boys
- 2:04:03Speaker 3: that were at the Playboy Mansion with him back in
- 2:04:06Speaker 3: the day called him qute.
- 2:04:09Speaker 1: Overachiever ninety one years. Cute. All that pimping you did,
- 2:04:14Speaker 1: yes for ninety one years.
- 2:04:18Speaker 3: And you wow, you set the boss so high. Check man,
- 2:04:23Speaker 3: all that pimping from Diana, the Mothlin, the Vandellasu. But
- 2:04:30Speaker 3: thank you, thank you for the great music, the many
- 2:04:35Speaker 3: artists from Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson, and as you've
- 2:04:40Speaker 3: heard today, the jazz and everything.
- 2:04:42Speaker 1: Else that you delighted our ears with. We appreciate it.
- 2:04:46Speaker 3: I love you, and ninety one all we can do
- 2:04:49Speaker 3: is give you your roses and applause and remember you
- 2:04:53Speaker 3: in a great way. Big Kenny Chamanchi, Greg Monday Night
- 2:05:04Speaker 3: Football Bucks Chiefs.
- 2:05:08Speaker 1: From this Word Shop show. We'll hit you later in
- 2:05:10Speaker 1: the week. Peace,
