New Alice in the Old Wonderland - Anna Matlack Richards
"New Alice in the Old Wonderland" by Anna Matlack Richards invites listeners into a whimsical adventure as a young American girl named Alice Lee discovers a magical door to Wonderland, a place filled with both familiar characters like the Cheshire Cat and Mad Hatter and new faces. Unlike the original Alice, Alice Lee asserts her agency in this fantastical realm, navigating its absurdities with confidence rather than confusion. This unofficial sequel serves as a loving tribute to Lewis Carroll's beloved classic while also challenging the notion of passivity in the face of chaos.
