- 0:48SPEAKER_16: Somebody's been brushing their hair with.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: It's like hair hair?
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Or is it.
- 0:53SPEAKER_09: I don't know.
- 0:53SPEAKER_09: I have no idea.
- 0:54SPEAKER_10: Oh, look at that silky smooth.
- 0:58SPEAKER_09: Hey, nice hat.
- 0:58SPEAKER_16: Hey, how do you how do you Doug, what do you do to your hair?
- 1:02SPEAKER_16: Well, I brush it with an SM uh microphone.
- 1:05SPEAKER_09: An SM78.
- 1:06SPEAKER_09: Is that what it is?
- 1:07SPEAKER_09: I think so.
- 1:08SPEAKER_09: SM7B or something like that.
- 1:11SPEAKER_16: Uh SM7B.
- 1:13SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 1:13SPEAKER_16: SM7B.
- 1:14SPEAKER_16: SM7B.
- 1:15SPEAKER_16: It's a high, high-end microphone.
- 1:18SPEAKER_16: It's pretty damned good, is what it is.
- 1:19SPEAKER_09: It is really good.
- 1:20SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 1:21SPEAKER_16: We blew a lot of gig money on these.
- 1:23SPEAKER_09: Yeah, we did.
- 1:24SPEAKER_09: Nice hat.
- 1:24SPEAKER_09: Shelby.
- 1:25SPEAKER_09: I like that.
- 1:26SPEAKER_16: Yeah, I like it too.
- 1:27SPEAKER_16: That's my dream car.
- 1:28SPEAKER_16: Is it really?
- 1:29SPEAKER_16: Shelby Cobra.
- 1:30SPEAKER_16: Oh wow.
- 1:30SPEAKER_16: Yeah, it's always been my dream car.
- 1:32SPEAKER_16: So I I I can't afford one because they're like, you know, like$400,000.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:37SPEAKER_16: So I figured I'd get a hat.
- 1:40SPEAKER_16: A little cheaper.
- 1:41SPEAKER_16: Right.
- 1:42SPEAKER_16: Then I could be like, you got it, you got a Shelby?
- 1:45SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 1:46SPEAKER_09: It's in storage.
- 1:47SPEAKER_09: Mine is a 66 Mustang convertible.
- 1:52SPEAKER_16: 60s.
- 1:53SPEAKER_16: 60s Mustangs were really good.
- 1:55SPEAKER_16: Oh my word.
- 1:55SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 1:56SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 1:57SPEAKER_09: Um so a couple things.
- 1:59SPEAKER_09: Number one, what do you think about you know this is episode uh 256, so it's a little late in the game.
- 2:07SPEAKER_09: But should we change it to O'Brien and Doug's show?
- 2:11SPEAKER_09: We we we we kind of discussed this a little bit because we thought we had been calling it, or you thought we had been calling it show, but we we introduced it as the O'Brien and Doug podcast.
- 2:22SPEAKER_09: Is it really a podcast?
- 2:24SPEAKER_16: I mean it's a podcast, but it's it's on the pot it's a pot it's in the podcast medium.
- 2:30SPEAKER_16: Right.
- 2:30SPEAKER_16: But it's and it's on a podcast platform, but it's not really a podcast because we're not really It's focusing on one subject, one topic, right?
- 2:38SPEAKER_16: Well not not just it's not that, it's just like it's just it's it's not informational.
- 2:43SPEAKER_10: Well that's true.
- 2:44SPEAKER_16: You know what I mean?
- 2:45SPEAKER_16: We're not we're not disseminating any like knowledge on anybody or yeah, you know, we're not you know, you know, waxing poetically about anything.
- 2:54SPEAKER_16: We're just you know just talking about music and movies and life in general.
- 3:00SPEAKER_09: So should we ch should we should we start calling it the O'Brien and Duck Show?
- 3:05SPEAKER_16: I like podcasts.
- 3:06SPEAKER_09: You like podcasts?
- 3:07SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 3:07SPEAKER_16: All right.
- 3:08SPEAKER_16: I mean, I I mean I'm just used to be calling it a show because back when we used to do the show.
- 3:12SPEAKER_16: Yeah, yeah.
- 3:13SPEAKER_16: But it's not really a show because it's not live.
- 3:16SPEAKER_09: That's true.
- 3:17SPEAKER_09: Well, I mean, what's what TV show is live?
- 3:20SPEAKER_16: No, I'm but yeah, but I mean it's not like it's not like the new heart show.
- 3:24SPEAKER_16: You know, we're not that funny.
- 3:26SPEAKER_09: We're not you know, so no.
- 3:29SPEAKER_16: But I mean, um I I don't know.
- 3:32SPEAKER_16: It's just it just I I think we should stick with the medium.
- 3:35SPEAKER_09: So if we ever so if we got back live on the air, we would change it back to show.
- 3:39SPEAKER_16: Oh yeah.
- 3:40SPEAKER_16: I mean if we got it back on the radio, you know, on terrestrial radio, or satellite even.
- 3:45SPEAKER_10: Okay.
- 3:45SPEAKER_16: Um yeah, I'm dreaming big now.
- 3:48SPEAKER_16: Um Yeah, well, I mean we then we call it the show.
- 3:51SPEAKER_16: Then we call it the show.
- 3:52SPEAKER_16: But right now, you know, it's a podcast.
- 3:53SPEAKER_16: So let's let's call let's I say we continue to call it a podcast until otherwise noted.
- 3:59SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 3:59SPEAKER_09: Um so we had we had talked about this um and I I did something um this morning.
- 4:08SPEAKER_09: Was it this morning?
- 4:09SPEAKER_09: Yesterday.
- 4:10SPEAKER_09: I I I don't remember.
- 4:13SPEAKER_09: It ran over somebody.
- 4:14SPEAKER_09: It might have been this morning.
- 4:15SPEAKER_09: So um I gave someone admin administrative access to the O'Brien and Doug Facebook page.
- 4:24SPEAKER_16: Okay.
- 4:25SPEAKER_16: Was it cousin Larry?
- 4:26SPEAKER_09: No.
- 4:27SPEAKER_09: It was my daughter.
- 4:28SPEAKER_16: Oh, okay.
- 4:29SPEAKER_16: Well that's fine.
- 4:30SPEAKER_09: She is going to once I can get this place cleaned up and we can get the cameras back up, she's going to edit our video.
- 4:39SPEAKER_09: She is going to post it on YouTube.
- 4:41SPEAKER_09: Um She is going to actually so so I I gave her I sent her a message this morning.
- 4:47SPEAKER_09: Um and I said and I'm gonna give her access to the Instagram page too.
- 4:51SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 4:51SPEAKER_09: But I sent her a message this morning uh and I said, this is what she said to me.
- 4:56SPEAKER_09: Um We should talk she she gave me a thumbs up.
- 5:02SPEAKER_09: I said, I just gave you access to the Facebook page.
- 5:04SPEAKER_09: She gave me a thumbs up, and I said, and she said, we should talk about process and expectations.
- 5:09SPEAKER_09: Ha ha right?
- 5:11SPEAKER_09: Who's the adult here?
- 5:13SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 5:13SPEAKER_09: Well, here's what I said.
- 5:14SPEAKER_09: Here's what I said.
- 5:16SPEAKER_09: My reply was I expect you to make us huge.
- 5:19SPEAKER_09: Well, we did that.
- 5:21SPEAKER_09: Now make us popular.
- 5:23unknown: Yes.
- 5:24SPEAKER_16: We don't need her helping making huge because we're already there.
- 5:27SPEAKER_09: And then I body by Burger King.
- 5:29SPEAKER_09: Oh, and happy eldest daughter day, because apparently today is eldest daughter day.
- 5:33SPEAKER_15: Oh, happy eldest daughter day.
- 5:34SPEAKER_09: I did not know that.
- 5:36SPEAKER_09: Um, so she in her spare time.
- 5:40SPEAKER_09: Um she doesn't have a lot, but she enjoys this type of thing.
- 5:46SPEAKER_16: Yeah, that that that that is true, she does.
- 5:48SPEAKER_09: So, and and she lives she she lives with a couple of roommates, but they don't do you know, the roommates do their own thing sometimes, and she's sometimes stuck by herself.
- 5:57SPEAKER_09: So if she can be doing something that keeps her busy, she's happy with that.
- 6:01SPEAKER_15: Okay.
- 6:01SPEAKER_09: So we're gonna try.
- 6:03SPEAKER_09: I don't know how I'm gonna get her the video, whether it's gonna be on a uh Google Drive or something.
- 6:08SPEAKER_09: Dropbox?
- 6:09SPEAKER_09: Something, yeah.
- 6:09SPEAKER_09: We're we're we're gonna give her get her the video for each podcast.
- 6:13SPEAKER_09: She's going to edit it and upload it.
- 6:16SPEAKER_09: And promos and you know, whatever else.
- 6:20SPEAKER_09: I'm hoping that she can kind of take the reins and say, I'm I got you a guest on the podcast.
- 6:31SPEAKER_09: You know, so not necessarily basically she's the adult of the show.
- 6:34SPEAKER_09: Yeah, basically, yeah.
- 6:35SPEAKER_09: Not necessarily a manager.
- 6:37SPEAKER_09: But no, an adult.
- 6:38SPEAKER_09: But uh but a butt.
- 6:40SPEAKER_16: She's she is like, all right, you kids go play in the basement, I'll take care of, you know, things up here.
- 6:46SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 6:46SPEAKER_16: You know.
- 6:46SPEAKER_09: Pretty much.
- 6:47SPEAKER_09: You know, what I got to think of was, you know, I'm I've got two classes left to take, uh um two college classes left to take.
- 6:54SPEAKER_09: And then you'll be smart.
- 6:56SPEAKER_09: And I'll and I'm certified to teach fully certified to teach to teach music, right.
- 7:01SPEAKER_09: And then I said to my wife, uh, I think it was yesterday, I said, I don't want to be a music teacher.
- 7:07SPEAKER_09: Now that I've done it all.
- 7:08SPEAKER_09: Now that I've done it all.
- 7:10SPEAKER_09: Nah.
- 7:10SPEAKER_09: The new the new year is starting right now, you know, next week.
- 7:14SPEAKER_09: I'm like, oh, what else?
- 7:16SPEAKER_09: I mean, it's uh don't get me wrong, I enjoy a lot of aspects of it, and it's it's music.
- 7:22SPEAKER_09: But my and we've talked about this too.
- 7:28SPEAKER_09: I wow, did you see that on the show?
- 7:31SPEAKER_09: Did you do that on purpose?
- 7:32SPEAKER_12: I made I made the karate chop.
- 7:35SPEAKER_12: That was awesome.
- 7:36SPEAKER_12: You're just like you were like and I'm like, holy crap! His hands are magic.
- 7:41SPEAKER_09: Oh, you know what?
- 7:42SPEAKER_09: It's my from my sister.
- 7:43SPEAKER_09: Oh, okay.
- 7:44SPEAKER_09: My sister is at the Who right now at Fenway Park.
- 7:48SPEAKER_16: The Who or playing at the Fenway Park?
- 7:51SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 7:51SPEAKER_09: And the Joe Perry project is opening.
- 7:53SPEAKER_09: Oh, that's right.
- 7:54SPEAKER_09: The socks are in Baltimore.
- 7:56SPEAKER_09: Yeah, so she just she just sent me a picture of Joe Perry.
- 7:59SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 8:00SPEAKER_09: Um Brad Whitford play is playing with uh Joe Perry as well.
- 8:03SPEAKER_09: Anyway, um was I saying?
- 8:06SPEAKER_09: Oh yeah.
- 8:07SPEAKER_09: I can only focus on one thing.
- 8:09SPEAKER_09: So and it's really irritating.
- 8:12SPEAKER_09: It's just the way my mind works.
- 8:14SPEAKER_09: So all summer, you know, I'm I'm I'm I I I I and we've talked about this.
- 8:20SPEAKER_09: I got done the school year.
- 8:22SPEAKER_09: As soon as I got done the school year, I was like, okay, now I can focus on the band, or I can uh write some songs, or you know, and just as I'm getting into the groove of, you know, Skinny Elvis has been playing and I'm gonna learn some more songs, and and and I I think about O'Brien and Doug, how we could improve that, and blah blah blah, and the school year starts again.
- 8:45SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 8:45SPEAKER_09: And now it's like, okay, back to this.
- 8:47SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 8:48SPEAKER_09: And I it's just it's frustrating to me.
- 8:50SPEAKER_09: I should be able to concentrate on more more than one thing at a time.
- 8:53SPEAKER_09: Um, so I told um my wife and my daughter when she was she was home visiting.
- 9:00SPEAKER_09: I said, Well, you know that because we did the draft and stuff.
- 9:03SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 9:04SPEAKER_09: Um I just I I would like to do O'Brien and Doug solely.
- 9:10SPEAKER_09: That would be like to be I'd like that to be my job.
- 9:12SPEAKER_09: Yeah, wouldn't that be great?
- 9:13SPEAKER_09: My job.
- 9:14SPEAKER_09: You know, I mean we have we got 60 downloads last week.
- 9:17unknown: Woo!
- 9:18SPEAKER_09: Right?
- 9:18SPEAKER_09: Which is double than what we normally get.
- 9:20SPEAKER_09: Yes, I was about to say, that's usually that's more than we usually.
- 9:22SPEAKER_09: Um which is which is nothing.
- 9:24SPEAKER_09: It's peanuts.
- 9:25SPEAKER_09: You know in the grand scheme of things.
- 9:27SPEAKER_09: But maybe she can get us and I mean no offense by this, Glenny or Cousin Larry.
- 9:34SPEAKER_09: Maybe she can get us real sponsors.
- 9:37SPEAKER_09: You know, like like like like paying sponsors, besides cousin Larry.
- 9:40SPEAKER_09: Cousin Larry's the only one that pays.
- 9:41SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 9:42SPEAKER_16: Um but I mean like uh real I I'm sure they they they would gladly, you know, co-sponsor, you know, somebody.
- 9:54SPEAKER_16: With Cousin Larry.
- 9:55SPEAKER_16: Who?
- 9:55SPEAKER_16: I don't know.
- 9:56SPEAKER_16: Some anybody.
- 9:57SPEAKER_09: No, I'm talking like like national brands and stuff.
- 9:59SPEAKER_16: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 10:00SPEAKER_09: Yeah, yeah.
- 10:00SPEAKER_16: Yeah, I don't think they'd be offended if we got like a like who's they?
- 10:08SPEAKER_09: You don't think who'd be offended?
- 10:09SPEAKER_09: Cousin Larry.
- 10:10SPEAKER_09: Oh no, I know he would be offended.
- 10:11SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 10:11SPEAKER_09: He'd be like, oh that's awesome.
- 10:13SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 10:13SPEAKER_09: Uh um He'd be like, I can save my money now.
- 10:16SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 10:16SPEAKER_09: Exactly.
- 10:17SPEAKER_09: Like spend it on me instead of you losers.
- 10:19SPEAKER_09: But I mean advertise the podcast.
- 10:21unknown: Yeah.
- 10:22SPEAKER_09: You know, we can go on Facebook and we can buy like, you know, Facebook ads and stuff like that.
- 10:25SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 10:25SPEAKER_09: She could do that.
- 10:26SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 10:27SPEAKER_09: You know, so I I'm just looking for a way to blow it up a little bit.
- 10:31SPEAKER_09: You know, just kind of um maybe it doesn't work, maybe it works, maybe it doesn't.
- 10:36SPEAKER_09: We'll see.
- 10:36SPEAKER_09: Yeah, we don't know.
- 10:36SPEAKER_09: We gotta give it a shot.
- 10:37SPEAKER_09: You gotta try it.
- 10:38SPEAKER_09: Gotta give it a shot.
- 10:39SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 10:39SPEAKER_09: Um because I was listening to, I was telling my wife, I had to take I had to deliver one of her um something to one of her jobs this morning.
- 10:47SPEAKER_09: Uh over in the neighboring town.
- 10:49SPEAKER_09: And I was listening to I I have um a bunch of radio stations on my phone, like uh Kalos in Los Angeles and K She in St.
- 10:58SPEAKER_09: Louis, Missouri, and blah blah blah.
- 11:00SPEAKER_09: So I was listening to K Los, which is a morning show, uh the Heidi and Frank show.
- 11:06SPEAKER_09: And it's a rock station.
- 11:08SPEAKER_09: And I'm listening to it and I'm like, this is boring.
- 11:13SPEAKER_09: I mean, it's it's it's hard to listen to.
- 11:16SPEAKER_09: I mean, it was they were trying too hard, and it was just you know, and I'm thinking and I not to chew it our own horn, but this is much more entertaining.
- 11:27SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 11:27SPEAKER_09: You know, it's it's kind of silly to say that as we're talking, you know.
- 11:33SPEAKER_09: But it's true.
- 11:34SPEAKER_09: And I think you know, what did your mom mean by that, by the way?
- 11:38SPEAKER_09: I had posted something.
- 11:39SPEAKER_09: I have no idea what you're talking about.
- 11:40SPEAKER_09: Did you talk to your mother at all?
- 11:43SPEAKER_16: Not today.
- 11:45SPEAKER_09: Um so I had posted something on National Radio Day.
- 11:48SPEAKER_09: Did you see that?
- 11:49SPEAKER_09: Did you see that?
- 11:50SPEAKER_16: I saw you posted something.
- 11:51SPEAKER_16: I didn't see she commented on it.
- 11:53SPEAKER_09: Um she had posted um let me get to it here.
- 12:00SPEAKER_09: First she had posted on that, and she said you guys could still do that.
- 12:08SPEAKER_09: Which I was just like, well, that's very nice of her to say.
- 12:11SPEAKER_09: We could we could still do that.
- 12:12SPEAKER_09: Do a radio show.
- 12:13SPEAKER_09: Yeah, right.
- 12:14SPEAKER_09: And then and then I had changed my cover photo to this, which is an old time, you know, radio station.
- 12:22SPEAKER_01: W K R P K.
- 12:23SPEAKER_09: Yeah, something like that.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: And then your mother said, You could start your own radio program here.
- 12:31SPEAKER_01: Did you mean in the picture?
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 12:33SPEAKER_09: And then I said, I said, Where?
- 12:37SPEAKER_09: Do you mean at your house?
- 12:40SPEAKER_09: So I was wasn't sure if she said anything to you because I I have no idea.
- 12:44SPEAKER_09: I asked the question.
- 12:45SPEAKER_16: I was like, well, sometimes she goes rogue and I have no idea what's going on.
- 12:47SPEAKER_09: So it's like, what do you mean?
- 12:49SPEAKER_09: Where where could we start the radio program?
- 12:50SPEAKER_09: Anyway.
- 12:51SPEAKER_09: Um Yeah, we don't have we have very limited choices up here.
- 12:54SPEAKER_09: Yeah, I'll know it's true.
- 12:55SPEAKER_09: You know, so you know, but I would like to I think I think, you know, we got a cool thing um going and I want to see, but I say this every time, you know, I wanna I wanna make it bigger.
- 13:09SPEAKER_09: Um and just sorry, Blanchard children.
- 13:15SPEAKER_09: That's okay.
- 13:17SPEAKER_09: Um so yeah, there's that.
- 13:20SPEAKER_09: So that's I thought you'd be happy with that.
- 13:22SPEAKER_16: Yeah, that's awesome, man.
- 13:23SPEAKER_16: I mean, yeah, I think I mean we were talking about it, we were kind of we were half joking about it.
- 13:28SPEAKER_16: Yeah, you know, but now that's actually happening, I think this is this is exciting.
- 13:32SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 13:32SPEAKER_16: You know, the possibilities, you know, there's more possibility now.
- 13:36SPEAKER_16: Right.
- 13:36SPEAKER_16: You know what I mean?
- 13:37SPEAKER_16: You know, there's more avenues, there's more you know, now that we have an adult in charge, yeah, yeah, it's gonna be great.
- 13:43SPEAKER_09: And I also uh a couple of things about that too, is I was goofing around because I want uh cousin Larry, if you're listening, cousin Larry.
- 13:56SPEAKER_09: It's been a while since you did some imaging for us.
- 14:01SPEAKER_09: I'd like to get some more.
- 14:03SPEAKER_09: Yeah, that'd be good.
- 14:04SPEAKER_09: Um and you know, I mean I can I can write something up if you want, or but we we need to get freshen that up.
- 14:11SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 14:12SPEAKER_09: I want to change the music a little bit.
- 14:14SPEAKER_09: Make it, you know, it'd be the same but different.
- 14:16SPEAKER_09: Um what?
- 14:18SPEAKER_09: Same but different.
- 14:19SPEAKER_09: Same but different.
- 14:20SPEAKER_16: We're gonna go from a rock song to classical, but it's gonna be the same.
- 14:23SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 14:24SPEAKER_09: So as a just because just curiosity killed the cat.
- 14:29SPEAKER_09: I did.
- 14:29SPEAKER_09: And and and and kitty.
- 14:32SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 14:32SPEAKER_09: So I you know, we we we uh we complain about this all the time.
- 14:39SPEAKER_09: But I just wanted to see what would happen if I went and used AI to and I all I did was type in um create uh uh radio imaging for the O'Brien and Doug Show.
- 14:58SPEAKER_14: Oh, okay.
- 15:00SPEAKER_09: And I typed it into Sumo.
- 15:02SPEAKER_09: Or is it Sumo?
- 15:03SPEAKER_09: Suno.
- 15:04SPEAKER_09: Suno.
- 15:04SPEAKER_13: Yeah.
- 15:05SPEAKER_09: Um thinking that I don't actually I didn't know what would happen.
- 15:09SPEAKER_09: So it spit out a bunch of stuff.
- 15:12SPEAKER_09: I downloaded two of them.
- 15:13SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 15:13SPEAKER_09: Now I'm not we're not gonna use these.
- 15:15SPEAKER_16: No, I would yeah, I I would feel weird about it.
- 15:17SPEAKER_09: I would feel weird about it too.
- 15:18SPEAKER_09: I'm I'm not gonna use them.
- 15:19SPEAKER_09: I want to listen to them.
- 15:20SPEAKER_09: Sure.
- 15:21SPEAKER_09: I mean I've I've heard them, but I just want to see what you think.
- 15:23SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 15:24SPEAKER_09: Um and I thought that it would it would produce like imaging, but it didn't.
- 15:30SPEAKER_09: It produced a song both times.
- 15:33SPEAKER_09: Like a theme song?
- 15:34SPEAKER_09: Yeah, I guess.
- 15:35SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 15:35SPEAKER_09: Um so here's here's one of them.
- 15:39SPEAKER_09: Uh and I'll just we'll just and they're only like Oh you cleaned up your desktop.
- 15:43SPEAKER_09: Yeah, I did.
- 15:43SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:44SPEAKER_05: You can actually do it.
- 16:47SPEAKER_09: So I think I did monitor off too.
- 16:49SPEAKER_09: I think it's okay.
- 16:51SPEAKER_16: It sounds like a no offense, but it sounded like a nickel back to me.
- 16:56SPEAKER_16: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 17:00SPEAKER_16: Why are we calling people?
- 17:02SPEAKER_16: I don't know.
- 17:03SPEAKER_12: They don't even have a phone that they think we have a telemarker or what so anyway, that's kinda a lot I kinda like the two two and a half minutes, something like that.
- 17:14SPEAKER_09: This one's two minutes, so this is relatively similar.
- 17:17SPEAKER_09: I mean, it's it's it's similar um to that one.
- 18:35SPEAKER_09: I don't know why we're calling people.
- 18:37SPEAKER_09: I don't know.
- 18:38SPEAKER_09: Who's on the dial?
- 18:39SPEAKER_09: We're not on the dial.
- 18:41SPEAKER_09: Well, you didn't say radio.
- 18:43SPEAKER_09: I did, yes.
- 18:44SPEAKER_09: Radio imaging, that's what I said.
- 18:45SPEAKER_09: So anyway, I I yeah, I I thought it was kind of I just thought it was neat.
- 18:50SPEAKER_09: It was fun.
- 18:51SPEAKER_09: It's funny, man.
- 18:52SPEAKER_09: I like it.
- 18:52SPEAKER_09: I mean, we'll never use it.
- 18:53SPEAKER_09: I think you have to I actually think in order to use it.
- 18:56SPEAKER_09: Yeah, you gotta pay for it.
- 18:56SPEAKER_09: You gotta pay for it.
- 18:57SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 18:58SPEAKER_09: So we won't.
- 18:59SPEAKER_16: Nate nothing free.
- 19:00SPEAKER_16: But you can see why people are very easily confused by AI generated music.
- 19:05SPEAKER_16: Absolutely.
- 19:06SPEAKER_16: You know, the velv the Velvet Sundown debacle there.
- 19:10SPEAKER_09: Yeah, and the other one that Rick Biotto created.
- 19:12SPEAKER_09: Did you see that news story?
- 19:13SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 19:13SPEAKER_09: Where he created Sadie Winters?
- 19:16SPEAKER_16: Yeah, or Eric, yeah, he well, he did a couple.
- 19:18SPEAKER_16: He did the one I saw was like an Eric something.
- 19:21SPEAKER_09: Oh, this one was on CBS News.
- 19:22SPEAKER_09: Oh, okay.
- 19:23SPEAKER_09: There was a news story, and he created this artist named Sadie Winters.
- 19:26SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 19:27SPEAKER_09: And a song.
- 19:28SPEAKER_09: This the lyrics of the song were done in four seconds.
- 19:31SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 19:32SPEAKER_09: And it was about two minutes for the whole song to be to be done.
- 19:36SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 19:37SPEAKER_09: And it was it could have been on the radio.
- 19:39SPEAKER_09: Oh, I'm not sure.
- 19:40SPEAKER_09: And actually the the reporter took the took the audio around, he was in Nashville, took the audio around two people on the street, and they said, Oh, I love her, I love her voice, and blah blah blah.
- 19:49SPEAKER_09: This this artist and blah.
- 19:51SPEAKER_09: And it was really good.
- 19:52SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 19:53SPEAKER_09: And it's and they actually even fooled a uh country songwriter in the interview.
- 19:59SPEAKER_16: Yeah, I believe it.
- 20:00SPEAKER_09: It was it was crazy.
- 20:01SPEAKER_16: You know, well, even when we were listening to uh try that in a small town podcast, yeah, uh, they were saying talking about AI music, and they were like, We we if we didn't know any better, we would have been like, Oh, who's the who's doing this?
- 20:13SPEAKER_09: Exactly.
- 20:14SPEAKER_16: Yeah, I mean, because I mean you listen to that, you you would have swore somebody somebody made that for us.
- 20:20SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 20:20SPEAKER_16: Now, yeah.
- 20:21SPEAKER_16: You typed a prompt into you know Suno and then that popped out.
- 20:27SPEAKER_16: So you can totally understand why people are getting sucked into AI music.
- 20:31SPEAKER_09: It was a robot.
- 20:31SPEAKER_09: Yeah, you know, basically.
- 20:32SPEAKER_09: So that's what it was.
- 20:34SPEAKER_09: So um scary times, man.
- 20:36SPEAKER_09: Again, that was just I just wanted to see what would happen, and that's what happened.
- 20:39SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 20:40SPEAKER_09: And I'm not no new lab.
- 20:42SPEAKER_09: But I do want uh uh cousin Larry to to get get us a refresher on some of the some of the imaging.
- 20:48SPEAKER_09: Because I think we could I think we could see.
- 20:49SPEAKER_16: Well, I mean if we if we got live on board now, we might as well let's let's start freshening things up.
- 20:54SPEAKER_16: Yeah, that's what I mean.
- 20:54SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 20:55SPEAKER_09: Yeah, so we can we can actually sound like w halfway perfectly.
- 20:59SPEAKER_16: Yeah, then I'll I'll write a script and uh you No, I'm not gonna do that.
- 21:04SPEAKER_09: No, we won't be doing that.
- 21:05SPEAKER_09: No.
- 21:06SPEAKER_16: I'm never gonna do that.
- 21:07SPEAKER_16: I don't I don't have the I don't have the the concentration or the patience to do that unless I'm completely like something I'm really into.
- 21:18SPEAKER_16: You know what I mean?
- 21:19SPEAKER_09: Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I understand.
- 21:20SPEAKER_16: But that I couldn't do, I couldn't take it seriously.
- 21:23SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 21:23SPEAKER_16: Because I've just been like, well, that I don't know what he's gonna say.
- 21:25SPEAKER_16: I don't I don't know him, you know, I wouldn't you know I don't know what's gonna come out of your mouth.
- 21:30SPEAKER_16: And that's part of the beauty of it.
- 21:32SPEAKER_09: Exactly.
- 21:32SPEAKER_09: You know what I mean?
- 21:33SPEAKER_09: Um so so that's kind of what we're gonna work on for the next little while.
- 21:39SPEAKER_09: Of course, uh uh all the schools go in session next week.
- 21:42SPEAKER_09: So I will be extra, extra, extra busy.
- 21:45SPEAKER_09: But you know, um we'll see what happens.
- 21:48SPEAKER_09: We'll see.
- 21:48SPEAKER_09: Uh we'll see what stay tuned, everybody.
- 21:50SPEAKER_13: Yeah, stay tuned.
- 21:51SPEAKER_13: We'll see what what comes.
- 21:52SPEAKER_09: So let's see.
- 21:54SPEAKER_09: Since last week, uh, because we did the podcast on Monday night last week, I'm gonna make this Announcement by the way.
- 22:01SPEAKER_09: So we did the podcast on Monday night last week because we had something going on on Tuesday and we couldn't record.
- 22:08SPEAKER_09: And that thing that we had going on was a gender reveal.
- 22:15SPEAKER_09: Yes.
- 22:16SPEAKER_09: Because yours truly.
- 22:20SPEAKER_09: I can say it.
- 22:21SPEAKER_09: I've been telling people.
- 22:22SPEAKER_16: Yeah, you've been telling people, so you might as well say it now.
- 22:25SPEAKER_09: I'm I'm going to be uh a grandparent.
- 22:35SPEAKER_09: That's enough of that.
- 22:36SPEAKER_09: I will not be a grandpa.
- 22:38SPEAKER_09: I will not be a grampy.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: Grandpa.
- 22:42SPEAKER_09: My original, and I think I'm going to stick with my original was Pops.
- 22:47SPEAKER_09: But again, what every time I tell somebody that, and they're like, you know, you can you can plan that all you want.
- 22:52SPEAKER_09: But they're gonna call you what they're gonna call you.
- 22:54SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 22:54SPEAKER_09: Which is true.
- 22:56SPEAKER_09: Um I wanted to be called Bam Bam.
- 22:58SPEAKER_09: Bam Bam.
- 22:59SPEAKER_09: But my wife would not go with Pebbles.
- 23:01SPEAKER_09: So um I said no on that one, I guess.
- 23:04SPEAKER_09: So um I am going to have a grandson.
- 23:08SPEAKER_09: Yes.
- 23:09SPEAKER_09: Uh we had the gender reveal on Tuesday.
- 23:11SPEAKER_09: We are over the moon excited.
- 23:13SPEAKER_09: Uh be a great Christmas present because I think she's due on the 21st or something like that.
- 23:18SPEAKER_16: Yeah, I was supposed to say it's really close to Christmas.
- 23:20SPEAKER_16: Yeah, yeah.
- 23:20SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 23:21SPEAKER_09: We're talking about, by the way, my oldest boy, Jude, and his wife, Kristen.
- 23:24SPEAKER_09: So we are beyond excited.
- 23:28SPEAKER_09: I I want to say we're beyond excited.
- 23:30SPEAKER_09: I don't think it's hit me.
- 23:32SPEAKER_16: It's not going to yet.
- 23:33SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 23:33SPEAKER_09: Until it gets closer.
- 23:34SPEAKER_09: Yeah, I don't think uh because uh just the idea of of being a grandfather is you know, I feel like I'm 12.
- 23:43SPEAKER_09: See what I mean?
- 23:44SPEAKER_16: It's true.
- 23:45SPEAKER_16: I mean, you know, anybody who's listening to this podcast are like, that guy's gonna be a grandfather.
- 23:48SPEAKER_09: Exactly, Craig.
- 23:49SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 23:50SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 23:50SPEAKER_09: Uh I was talking to Glenny today because I had my car into the shop and and I told him, and he was like, Oh, congratulations.
- 23:56SPEAKER_09: It's just uh it's the best thing in the world.
- 23:58SPEAKER_16: Yeah, because he's he just became a grandfather not too long ago, too.
- 24:01SPEAKER_09: So and I said, uh I said, Yeah, I know, because you can you can play with them all the time and then just give them back.
- 24:07SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 24:07SPEAKER_09: And he says, Well, not when they live with you.
- 24:11SPEAKER_09: So yeah, but he says he still says it's it's the greatest thing ever.
- 24:15SPEAKER_16: Yeah, he seems to be having a great time.
- 24:16SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 24:17SPEAKER_09: So so I'm I'm pretty pumped about that.
- 24:20SPEAKER_09: That was Tuesday.
- 24:21SPEAKER_09: We did our NFL fantasy draft on Thursday.
- 24:24SPEAKER_09: That was fun.
- 24:25SPEAKER_09: That was fun.
- 24:25SPEAKER_09: We got uh we actually got together.
- 24:26SPEAKER_09: This was Olivia's idea, my daughter's idea.
- 24:29SPEAKER_09: Great idea.
- 24:29SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 24:30SPEAKER_09: Um, so we all got together at Johnny B's place and had lots of food, and it was Yeah.
- 24:35SPEAKER_09: There was a lot of people there.
- 24:36SPEAKER_09: It was kind of chaotic, but it was fun.
- 24:39SPEAKER_16: It was fun.
- 24:39SPEAKER_16: I had I enjoyed that.
- 24:40SPEAKER_16: Yeah, we we that I mean, when we started playing Fantasy League, I mean it was just the four of us in Common Crossing.
- 24:47SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 24:47SPEAKER_16: And now look at it.
- 24:48SPEAKER_16: We got 14 people playing and they're all spread out all over the place.
- 24:52SPEAKER_16: And you know, we had this, you know, this draft party.
- 24:56SPEAKER_16: Yeah, you know, and that was fun, man.
- 24:58SPEAKER_16: I mean, that's that's what you want when you play fantasy football.
- 25:01SPEAKER_16: Sure.
- 25:01SPEAKER_16: You know, you want that connection with people.
- 25:03SPEAKER_16: Just, you know, I mean, there was there was laughs and there was some trash talking and you know, and stuff like that.
- 25:08SPEAKER_16: And it was great.
- 25:09SPEAKER_16: It was I had a blast.
- 25:10SPEAKER_09: Yeah, yeah.
- 25:10SPEAKER_09: No, it was it was fantastic.
- 25:12SPEAKER_09: And most most of them actually the only one that was on auto draft was Jude, and that was by some sort of weird mistake or something, or or some some internet because Bob was on, Quinn was on, cousin Larry was on doing his picks.
- 25:29SPEAKER_09: So everybody was on.
- 25:31SPEAKER_09: It was it was pretty cool.
- 25:32SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 25:32SPEAKER_09: Um that was Thursday.
- 25:35SPEAKER_09: Friday we had a skinny Elvis game.
- 25:37SPEAKER_16: Skinny Elvis.
- 25:38SPEAKER_09: Which went very well.
- 25:40SPEAKER_16: I thought I uh I liked the second half better than the first half.
- 25:44SPEAKER_16: I don't know why.
- 25:45SPEAKER_09: Yeah, what was the deciding factor there?
- 25:48SPEAKER_16: I think I got the the The flow?
- 25:51SPEAKER_16: Well, the the nervousness beat out of me.
- 25:55SPEAKER_09: You were nervous?
- 25:56SPEAKER_16: Oh yeah, I'm always nervous.
- 25:58SPEAKER_16: Oh.
- 25:59SPEAKER_16: Doing skinny Elvis.
- 26:00SPEAKER_09: And because you're the head.
- 26:01SPEAKER_09: Yeah, because I'm I'm the front man.
- 26:03SPEAKER_09: You're in the front.
- 26:04SPEAKER_09: You know, so I you know, I was like, oh no, I'm gonna suck at this.
- 26:08SPEAKER_09: No, it was I think it was fun.
- 26:10SPEAKER_09: Of course, uh third song in, I break a string on my guitar.
- 26:13SPEAKER_09: Yeah, that was crazy.
- 26:14SPEAKER_16: I was like, and we were joking about that before that.
- 26:16SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 26:17SPEAKER_16: Yeah, so it was weird, but uh but I was like, I was surprised how many people stayed.
- 26:22SPEAKER_16: And stuck around.
- 26:23SPEAKER_16: Yeah, and they were they were not young people.
- 26:25SPEAKER_16: No.
- 26:26SPEAKER_16: Um they were more like syndicate age type people.
- 26:29SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 26:29SPEAKER_16: And I was like, you know, because you were joking, like, oh yeah, with three songs, these people are gonna be gone.
- 26:33SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 26:33SPEAKER_16: They're gonna go find something to say.
- 26:34SPEAKER_16: And they stuck around.
- 26:35SPEAKER_16: Yeah, they all stuck around.
- 26:36SPEAKER_16: I mean, they got more as the as the evening went on, there was more and more because they were just there to see the balloons, but right might as well hang out and watch whatever's happening on the stage.
- 26:46SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 26:47SPEAKER_09: Because the balloons didn't go up at all.
- 26:48SPEAKER_09: No.
- 26:49SPEAKER_09: The whole time that the balloons did.
- 26:51SPEAKER_16: It was just it was tethered.
- 26:52SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 26:52SPEAKER_09: Well, that yeah, I mean, what I mean is that I think all all in all there were nine balloons that only four were there the night that we played.
- 27:03SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 27:04SPEAKER_09: But I think there were nine altogether that came from all all different places around the east coast.
- 27:09SPEAKER_09: Um, but because of the well, there was a hurricane off the coast, and we got the the effects of that.
- 27:16SPEAKER_09: So we got a lot of wind.
- 27:18SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 27:18SPEAKER_09: Which is not good.
- 27:20SPEAKER_16: Well, not good for a balloon, because you can't really you gotta go where the wind goes.
- 27:24SPEAKER_09: Right, yeah.
- 27:25SPEAKER_12: You can't really control it.
- 27:26SPEAKER_09: So I think I think they were up.
- 27:28SPEAKER_09: All of them were up like because we played Friday night.
- 27:32SPEAKER_09: I think Friday morning they all went up.
- 27:35SPEAKER_14: Okay.
- 27:35SPEAKER_09: Because I don't know.
- 27:36SPEAKER_09: My wife said that she'd seen some on on her morning show.
- 27:39SPEAKER_16: A lot of people, you know, posted pictures of them because you know, I saw them flying around or whatever.
- 27:43SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 27:43SPEAKER_09: So um so so there's that.
- 27:45SPEAKER_09: So we played that we played that.
- 27:47SPEAKER_09: What else happened?
- 27:48SPEAKER_09: Well, since the last podcast.
- 27:50SPEAKER_09: That's it?
- 27:51SPEAKER_09: Yeah, I think that was it.
- 27:52SPEAKER_09: And we have Skinny Elvis is playing again uh next Friday.
- 27:55SPEAKER_09: Wait, we are?
- 27:56SPEAKER_09: Yeah, we are.
- 27:57SPEAKER_15: I thought that was in November now.
- 28:00SPEAKER_09: Nope.
- 28:01SPEAKER_15: I thought we changed it.
- 28:02SPEAKER_15: I thought that got changed.
- 28:04SPEAKER_09: It was in uh August, I think, and now it's September 5th.
- 28:08SPEAKER_15: I thought that got changed too.
- 28:10SPEAKER_09: I will hold on.
- 28:12SPEAKER_09: Because I checked, actually.
- 28:17SPEAKER_09: Uh because I was curious about it myself.
- 28:21SPEAKER_09: I want to make sure I don't misquote you or misquote.
- 28:25SPEAKER_09: Um, I think I did it in uh the skinny ellish thread.
- 28:37SPEAKER_09: I think I asked it in the skinny ellish thread.
- 28:40SPEAKER_09: Uh, let me go back.
- 28:42SPEAKER_16: I thought I thought I thought they'd flaked on it and now it was gonna be like November.
- 28:48SPEAKER_16: Because remember John saying we had to pick a they wanted us to pick a date was later on.
- 28:54SPEAKER_09: Yes.
- 28:55SPEAKER_09: But I think um Well, I asked John.
- 29:02SPEAKER_09: Um I'm looking for it.
- 29:06SPEAKER_09: How long we we talked a lot in the past few days.
- 29:09SPEAKER_09: In this while, okay, okay.
- 29:11SPEAKER_09: So August 20th.
- 29:12SPEAKER_09: August 20th.
- 29:14SPEAKER_09: I said, I was looking at my calendar.
- 29:16SPEAKER_09: Do we still have a gig at the hotel on September 5th?
- 29:20SPEAKER_09: John Simonoff.
- 29:21SPEAKER_09: Yes.
- 29:24SPEAKER_15: And there's nothing else.
- 29:25SPEAKER_09: Nope.
- 29:25SPEAKER_15: Okay.
- 29:26SPEAKER_09: Uh well, no.
- 29:28SPEAKER_09: Uh it's actually funny you mentioned September.
- 29:30SPEAKER_09: Colin just messaged me and asked us to change like 30 seconds ago.
- 29:33SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 29:34SPEAKER_09: That's what I thought of.
- 29:35SPEAKER_09: Of course he did.
- 29:36SPEAKER_09: Haha, you know, I was just looking for the push the launch the lounge instead.
- 29:42SPEAKER_09: First Fridays.
- 29:43SPEAKER_09: Oh, we're launching the lounge October 31st, and we'd love you to play that night.
- 29:47SPEAKER_09: Oh, yeah, that's right.
- 29:48SPEAKER_09: We did have this conversation.
- 29:50SPEAKER_09: Holy cow.
- 29:51SPEAKER_09: Halloween doesn't bother me if I can so we were talking, yeah.
- 29:54SPEAKER_09: We can't do Halloween, right?
- 29:55SPEAKER_09: Because Sarah can't do it, and I might not be able to do it.
- 29:57SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 29:58SPEAKER_09: So we were going for November what?
- 30:01SPEAKER_14: I I don't know if we picked a date.
- 30:03SPEAKER_13: So I don't know, Matt.
- 30:05SPEAKER_09: Okay, well, look, you know what I'm gonna do?
- 30:07SPEAKER_09: I'm gonna take that right off my calendar because I will show up.
- 30:11SPEAKER_09: Where is everybody else?
- 30:13SPEAKER_09: Uh let's see.
- 30:14SPEAKER_10: I'm gonna I am Skinny Elvis!
- 30:16SPEAKER_13: I'm gonna take that right off my calendar.
- 30:18SPEAKER_13: Okay.
- 30:19SPEAKER_13: Alright.
- 30:20SPEAKER_09: Uh we do have our last syndicate gig the next day, though, September 6th.
- 30:24SPEAKER_09: Yes.
- 30:24SPEAKER_09: Uh, in Easton.
- 30:25SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 30:26SPEAKER_09: And I have two uh games.
- 30:30SPEAKER_09: Okay, so speaking of what what this is what I was doing when you came down.
- 30:33SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 30:34SPEAKER_09: I was putting all of the soccer games into my calendar because thank heaven Finn made the varsity team.
- 30:45SPEAKER_09: And the reason I say that is because if he hadn't, he would have made JV and we would have had Myra's games, Finn's games, and Eli's games.
- 30:54SPEAKER_09: Oh yeah.
- 30:54SPEAKER_16: Now now Finn and Finn and Eli are the same game.
- 30:57SPEAKER_09: Same team, right?
- 30:57SPEAKER_09: Yes, yes.
- 30:58SPEAKER_09: So that helps.
- 30:59SPEAKER_09: Good.
- 30:59SPEAKER_16: But still, I'm I'm Well, I was looking at the list and it's like a it's like a page long.
- 31:05SPEAKER_09: That was just the boys' games.
- 31:06SPEAKER_16: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 31:07SPEAKER_09: So I've got Myra.
- 31:09SPEAKER_09: So let's see.
- 31:10SPEAKER_09: Um uh Wednesday.
- 31:13SPEAKER_09: Oh, that's that never mind, that's uh practice.
- 31:16SPEAKER_09: Their first games uh let's let's I've got uh Saturday, September 6th, R.
- 31:25SPEAKER_09: Skinny Ellis gig.
- 31:27SPEAKER_09: Or I mean uh syndicate gig.
- 31:28SPEAKER_09: Myra has a game at 115 here.
- 31:32SPEAKER_09: The boys are away at MDI at 2.
- 31:36SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 31:37SPEAKER_09: And obviously I won't be going to MDI.
- 31:39SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 31:40SPEAKER_09: But I we'll probably be going to Myra's game.
- 31:42SPEAKER_09: So we're gonna have to split, you know, uh split that up.
- 31:46SPEAKER_09: There's several times that happens where the boys are away and Myra's home or the or vice versa.
- 31:52SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 31:52SPEAKER_09: So it's just uh it's gonna be it's all good though.
- 31:57SPEAKER_09: Um Myra had her first middle school game um Monday night.
- 32:05SPEAKER_09: She kicked butt.
- 32:06SPEAKER_09: She lost.
- 32:08SPEAKER_09: But um they she was really worried uh because she's a little sixth grader, right?
- 32:17SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 32:17SPEAKER_09: And she's playing on a team with seventh and eighth graders, and she's playing against six, seventh and eighth graders.
- 32:22SPEAKER_09: But A, she's bigger than most of the eighth graders, right?
- 32:26SPEAKER_09: Or as big as.
- 32:27SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 32:27SPEAKER_09: She looks like a seventh or eighth grader.
- 32:29SPEAKER_09: Yeah, no, right.
- 32:29SPEAKER_09: She doesn't look like she's playing she played uh uh mid for the first half, and then she played striker for the second half.
- 32:41SPEAKER_09: And she had an assist, but she is just gets right in there with them, and uh I couldn't have been more proud.
- 32:49SPEAKER_09: I mean, she she kicked butt, even though even though they lost by two.
- 32:54SPEAKER_09: Um they played really well.
- 32:56SPEAKER_09: She played really well, and I was I was really impressed with the way she handled herself.
- 32:59SPEAKER_09: It was really, really cool.
- 33:01SPEAKER_09: Um so there's that.
- 33:03SPEAKER_09: Um what else?
- 33:05SPEAKER_09: I think that's that's it on the home front, right?
- 33:08SPEAKER_09: That's that's that's everything.
- 33:09SPEAKER_13: That's everything.
- 33:10SPEAKER_13: Have a good night, everybody everybody.
- 33:13SPEAKER_09: This has been the soccer podcast, right?
- 33:16SPEAKER_09: Um no, I did have a couple things on Ultimate Classic Rock uh that I wanted to get to.
- 33:21SPEAKER_09: Two uh two songs, so we have some new music that we could listen to.
- 33:25SPEAKER_09: Cool.
- 33:26SPEAKER_09: Um but first I just wanted to point this out because Oh, congratulations to Mr.
- 33:31SPEAKER_16: and Mrs.
- 33:32SPEAKER_16: Swift.
- 33:32SPEAKER_09: Oh, yeah, that's right.
- 33:34SPEAKER_16: Yeah, they got engaged.
- 33:35SPEAKER_16: They got engaged.
- 33:36SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 33:37SPEAKER_09: That's great.
- 33:39SPEAKER_16: Her career's gonna go downhill now.
- 33:41SPEAKER_02: Hers is?
- 33:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 33:43SPEAKER_16: Well, I mean, she's made a career in making songs about breakups and failed relationships.
- 33:49SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 33:49SPEAKER_16: Now what she's gonna write about.
- 33:50SPEAKER_09: What's she gonna write about now?
- 33:51SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 33:52SPEAKER_16: Nobody's gonna want a happy album from Taylor Swift.
- 33:55SPEAKER_16: I mean, come on, dude.
- 33:56SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 33:56SPEAKER_09: Lame! Well, it's funny because I was uh I was down here doing something and my daughter's shouts down, she says, Taylor Swift got engaged.
- 34:04SPEAKER_09: I said, Yeah.
- 34:05SPEAKER_09: She said, Yeah.
- 34:06SPEAKER_09: To Travis Kelsey.
- 34:07SPEAKER_09: And I said, You're kidding.
- 34:09SPEAKER_09: Didn't you like it?
- 34:10SPEAKER_09: Travis Kelsey?
- 34:12SPEAKER_09: She's like, Yeah, you didn't know that?
- 34:15SPEAKER_09: That they were dating?
- 34:16SPEAKER_09: This is news to me.
- 34:18SPEAKER_09: What?
- 34:19SPEAKER_09: Isn't he a football player?
- 34:23SPEAKER_09: She didn't nobody would know.
- 34:24SPEAKER_09: She didn't think it was funny after that.
- 34:26SPEAKER_10: She's like, You're being sarcastic.
- 34:27SPEAKER_09: No sense of humor.
- 34:28SPEAKER_09: You're being sarcastic.
- 34:29SPEAKER_09: Yes, I am.
- 34:30SPEAKER_13: How did you know?
- 34:31SPEAKER_13: No.
- 34:32SPEAKER_13: No.
- 34:34SPEAKER_09: Uh no, I saw this story, and the only reason I want to talk about this story is because I want to talk about how we are in the wrong business.
- 34:41SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 34:42SPEAKER_09: Um Sting's former bandmates, uh Stuart Copeland and Andy Summers, are suing Sting.
- 34:51SPEAKER_14: Okay.
- 34:52SPEAKER_09: Uh, because uh details of the lawsuit filed in London's High Court were unavailable, but Summers, Andy Summers, has long claimed a missing co-writing credit on every breath you take.
- 35:05SPEAKER_09: Which is obviously their biggest hit.
- 35:07SPEAKER_16: Yeah, I was high.
- 35:08SPEAKER_09: Um Summers said a unique part he came up with completed the unfinished song.
- 35:14SPEAKER_09: So that whole thing, he came up with that guitar part.
- 35:19SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 35:19SPEAKER_09: Alright.
- 35:20SPEAKER_09: Uh he says it's now past two billion plays on Spotify, so it's actually the most played song of all time in history.
- 35:28SPEAKER_15: I don't know about that.
- 35:30SPEAKER_09: According to according to him, because uh two billion plays.
- 35:35SPEAKER_09: Um which makes my guitar riff one of the most played riffs in history.
- 35:42SPEAKER_09: Well, get this.
- 35:43SPEAKER_09: This is why I want to talk about it.
- 35:44SPEAKER_09: Because decades later, Sting still gets complete credit for every breath you take.
- 35:51SPEAKER_09: That arrangement pays him every year in royalties seven hundred forty-five thousand dollars.
- 36:00SPEAKER_13: Wow.
- 36:01SPEAKER_09: From one song a year.
- 36:06SPEAKER_01: What a fridge.
- 36:08SPEAKER_09: $145,000 over a half a million dollars for one song every year for one song.
- 36:16SPEAKER_09: Wow.
- 36:17SPEAKER_09: Yes.
- 36:18SPEAKER_09: That's impressive.
- 36:19SPEAKER_09: That's impressive.
- 36:20SPEAKER_09: That's like, you know, um kudos, man.
- 36:24SPEAKER_16: Yeah, I mean, you know, yeah, it's good work if you can find it, right?
- 36:28SPEAKER_16: You know what I mean?
- 36:29SPEAKER_16: Jeez.
- 36:30SPEAKER_16: I don't know that you could do that now.
- 36:32SPEAKER_16: No, you're never gonna do, nobody's gonna do that.
- 36:34SPEAKER_09: You can't do that now just because the music industry is uh is flipped on its head.
- 36:37SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 36:38SPEAKER_09: You know, and and nobody makes that kind of money now.
- 36:40SPEAKER_09: No.
- 36:40SPEAKER_09: But the arrangement that he has still makes him over a half over a half million dollars.
- 36:46SPEAKER_09: That's insane.
- 36:47SPEAKER_09: A year for one song.
- 36:49SPEAKER_16: Okay, but I don't understand why Stuart Copeland's suing him.
- 36:53SPEAKER_09: Well, I would imagine well, it's I didn't read it past that.
- 36:57SPEAKER_07: Just because I read that, I'm like, holy crap, don't talk about that.
- 37:00SPEAKER_09: Umers hinted at pending legal issues in late 2024.
- 37:04SPEAKER_09: Um he said, let's see what happens in the next year.
- 37:08SPEAKER_09: This has been coming for quite some time.
- 37:10SPEAKER_09: Lawyers tried repeatedly to reach out an out of court settlement but hit a stalemate.
- 37:14SPEAKER_09: Andy and Stewart decided there was no alternative in court, so the pr they pressed the button.
- 37:18SPEAKER_09: Uh they say they are owed millions and lost royalties.
- 37:21SPEAKER_09: Multiple other media outlets uh reached out to representatives to find out more, but had received no reply.
- 37:28SPEAKER_09: Now, keep this in mind.
- 37:31SPEAKER_09: This comes from The Sun.
- 37:34SPEAKER_09: It's a British paper.
- 37:36SPEAKER_09: And the Daily Mail.
- 37:38SPEAKER_14: Okay.
- 37:39SPEAKER_09: Um, which, if I'm not mistaken, in Britain, the Sun and the Daily Mayor.
- 37:45SPEAKER_16: Well, they're kind of they're kind of like the tabloids of the city.
- 37:48SPEAKER_16: They're no BBC or something.
- 37:50SPEAKER_16: Right, right, right.
- 37:51SPEAKER_09: So that's what I'm saying.
- 37:51SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 37:52SPEAKER_09: So I mean, you take it with a grain of salt, I guess.
- 37:54SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 37:55SPEAKER_16: But uh Actually, you know, I I have the Ground News app.
- 37:59SPEAKER_16: Which is what does that mean?
- 38:00SPEAKER_16: It takes it takes any news story and it finds every source it comes from, so you can pick and choose what you want to read it from.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: Oh wow.
- 38:12SPEAKER_16: Yeah, it's and it it it it it you know, if it's if more left-leaning news sources are reporting on it, or more central centrist or right, you know, are reporting on it.
- 38:25SPEAKER_16: But it what it does is it gives you a summary of every news story so you can choose what you want to it just gives you what it's supposed to be.
- 38:34SPEAKER_16: Right.
- 38:34SPEAKER_16: The facts.
- 38:35SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 38:35SPEAKER_16: And then if you want to read further, they have all the links to all these other stories.
- 38:40SPEAKER_09: What's it called again?
- 38:40SPEAKER_16: Ground news.
- 38:41SPEAKER_09: Ground news.
- 38:42SPEAKER_16: Yeah, it's it's an excellent app.
- 38:44SPEAKER_16: Uh I highly recommend it to anybody who wants to uh uh keep up on news, but you don't want it biased.
- 38:50SPEAKER_13: Is it free?
- 38:51SPEAKER_13: No.
- 38:52SPEAKER_16: Oh well, I mean you can get it for free, but uh but if you want to get all the bells and whistles, you gotta pay uh okay, here it is.
- 39:02SPEAKER_16: I don't have enough money.
- 39:02SPEAKER_16: Music ledger.
- 39:04SPEAKER_16: Okay.
- 39:05SPEAKER_16: Now I'm gonna say right here.
- 39:07SPEAKER_16: See now it's only reporting five different news sources.
- 39:12SPEAKER_09: Which means it only has it only has 20% what?
- 39:17SPEAKER_16: This news story only has 20% right and central political bias coverage.
- 39:23SPEAKER_16: But it gives you a it gives you a breakdown of the important parts of what it is.
- 39:28SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 39:29SPEAKER_09: So it's an actual story.
- 39:30SPEAKER_16: It's an actual story, so you can Yeah, but it's basically everything you yeah.
- 39:36SPEAKER_09: So basically it's not a made-up story.
- 39:38SPEAKER_16: But No, but this everything you just read is uh Why is Diddy in here?
- 39:45SPEAKER_09: In that story?
- 39:46SPEAKER_16: Yeah, though they had worked together since 2007 reunion earlier this year, Summers and Sting appeared reconciled by collaborating, while past royalty disputes, including with Sean Diddy Combs, highlight ongoing conflicts.
- 39:59SPEAKER_16: Okay.
- 39:59SPEAKER_09: Yeah, because he used it.
- 40:01SPEAKER_09: He sampled it or whatever, yeah.
- 40:03SPEAKER_16: Yeah, so everything everything you said is just you know, yeah.
- 40:06SPEAKER_16: He's Blue Bug.
- 40:08SPEAKER_16: Summers and Copeland contend they never received co-writing credits for keyword on Every Breath of Take, with Summers emphasizing his guitar line and their studio collaboration's essential.
- 40:18SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 40:20SPEAKER_09: Uh you know, it's funny because it's just weird the way when you think about it, because session players when they come up with a um a key part that is like very memorable, um they don't get songwriting credit.
- 40:41SPEAKER_09: No.
- 40:43SPEAKER_09: Which is you know, yeah, which is crap.
- 40:45SPEAKER_09: Yeah, which is stupid.
- 40:46SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 40:47SPEAKER_09: You know, I mean, if you if if something that you come up with as a musician in the studio, even if you're not in the band, uh a lot of the um, I don't know, Beach Boys, uh Wrecking Crew.
- 41:00SPEAKER_09: Right, you know, they come up with these parts uh Steve Lukather, um uh guitar parts on Michael Jackson songs, you know, or anything like that.
- 41:11SPEAKER_09: These are key parts that create the s the memory of the s the song.
- 41:18SPEAKER_09: You know, it wouldn't be the song without it.
- 41:21SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 41:21SPEAKER_09: But you should get a songwriting credit.
- 41:23SPEAKER_15: Well, yeah, obviously.
- 41:24SPEAKER_09: I would think.
- 41:25SPEAKER_15: I would think so.
- 41:26SPEAKER_09: I was thinking about this uh for one of our songs, song that I wrote, um, because I was thinking about demoing it and trying to um I don't know, get it recorded by somebody.
- 41:43SPEAKER_09: Because I think it I think it actually could be a uh modern country hit.
- 41:49SPEAKER_09: As much as I hate modern country.
- 41:51SPEAKER_09: Um and it is uh She Comes to Dance.
- 41:55SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 41:56SPEAKER_09: So and I was thinking, I wrote that song, which is true, I did.
- 42:01SPEAKER_09: But there's a piece in there that Shane suggested.
- 42:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 42:07SPEAKER_09: The C7 to the B.
- 42:10SPEAKER_09: Da Right?
- 42:13SPEAKER_09: It's kind of a key part in the song.
- 42:15SPEAKER_15: Yeah, I would say so.
- 42:16SPEAKER_09: Yeah?
- 42:16SPEAKER_15: Yeah.
- 42:17SPEAKER_09: Should I give him songwriting credit for that little piece?
- 42:21SPEAKER_15: Well, yeah.
- 42:22SPEAKER_15: Probably came up with it, yeah.
- 42:23SPEAKER_15: Probably.
- 42:24SPEAKER_15: Yeah.
- 42:24SPEAKER_09: Well, he suggested it.
- 42:25SPEAKER_09: He didn't come up with it.
- 42:26SPEAKER_09: He 'cause the the chord went to to that I mean the song went to that chord anyway, but he suggested, what if you did this?
- 42:34SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 42:34SPEAKER_09: Da da da da da.
- 42:36SPEAKER_09: But that's arranging.
- 42:37SPEAKER_09: Is that arranging?
- 42:38SPEAKER_09: Is that songwriting?
- 42:39SPEAKER_16: Well, it's coming up with a different chord, so I would say it's songwriting.
- 42:43SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 42:43SPEAKER_09: I mean it's not arranging.
- 42:45SPEAKER_16: I mean, if you like instead of going nah nah nah nah, you went nah nah nah nah nah nah nah.
- 42:49SPEAKER_09: Yeah or something like that.
- 42:50SPEAKER_09: That that's arrangement.
- 42:51SPEAKER_09: It's just a matter of, you know, what if you what if you did this?
- 42:54SPEAKER_09: Oh, that's a good idea.
- 42:55SPEAKER_09: And I did it and it and it worked.
- 42:57SPEAKER_09: Now, okay, so so we're just kind of spitballing here.
- 43:02SPEAKER_09: So I would give him songwriting credit.
- 43:04SPEAKER_09: Sure.
- 43:05SPEAKER_09: I had thought about it this.
- 43:06SPEAKER_09: I was actually thinking, well, I probably should include Shane in that song because he did that little part.
- 43:11SPEAKER_09: What if I demoed it and I didn't put that part in?
- 43:15SPEAKER_09: Then he wouldn't get songwriting.
- 43:17SPEAKER_09: Then he wouldn't get a songwriting.
- 43:18SPEAKER_09: Right?
- 43:18SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 43:19SPEAKER_09: Now I wouldn't do that, obviously, because that wouldn't be the song.
- 43:22SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 43:22SPEAKER_09: So I, you know, it's just weird that some of the things that should be aren't.
- 43:28SPEAKER_09: Do you know what I mean?
- 43:29SPEAKER_16: Yeah, but it's a cutthroat business.
- 43:30SPEAKER_16: I mean, what do you expect?
- 43:32SPEAKER_09: Yeah, I suppose.
- 43:32SPEAKER_09: Yeah, that's true.
- 43:33SPEAKER_16: Especially nowadays, because you know, you know, the the music, you know, music songwriting and royalties and all that stuff is coming to an end.
- 43:42SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 43:43SPEAKER_16: You know what I mean?
- 43:44SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 43:44SPEAKER_16: So it is.
- 43:46SPEAKER_16: Everybody's try everybody's trying to get what they can while they still can.
- 43:49SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 43:49SPEAKER_09: So And that's you know, that's another reason why uh all these big name artists are selling their catalogs.
- 43:54SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 43:55SPEAKER_09: For m millions and, you know, of dollars.
- 43:58SPEAKER_09: Because they're getting up there and payday, big payday.
- 44:01SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 44:02SPEAKER_09: And they can they can give it to their family, you know, pass out the money.
- 44:06SPEAKER_15: You know.
- 44:07SPEAKER_09: And yeah.
- 44:08SPEAKER_09: So there's something.
- 44:09SPEAKER_09: Because you're right, I mean the business is is not the same as it was.
- 44:13SPEAKER_09: Um it is so we have talked about Sammy Hagar's um uh when he went out with Josandriani and Mike Anthony and um no it wasn't Jasmine it was uh holy cow player um bald uh you know drummer uh holy cow I am blanking play with John Melcan Oh Kenny Arnoff Kenny Arnoff thank you very much goodness bald well I mean bald wears glasses really ripped yeah super conceited you know you know what who I meant if you said super conceited I'd been like Kenny Arnoff I mean I love the guy but he is conceited oh yeah but he can't back it up so I can't I can't fault him for sure for sure for sure um I is it conceit or is it confidence?
- 45:16SPEAKER_16: It depends on the context.
- 45:18SPEAKER_09: I mean most time it's just you know I did this yeah yeah I can't argue with that yeah yeah I can do this yeah I can't argue with that but I mean you know sometimes you after a while you're just like okay enough dude you know yeah chill out he's got his own podcast too I think yeah he does something yeah uh anyway um so they went on this uh best of both worlds tour uh even went as far away as Japan and doing uh m it was basic actually it was the best of all worlds tour sorry because they did uh uh Van Hagar stuff yeah they did Sammy Hagar songs and I think they probably did a Joe Satriani song probably or two and they did uh they did some Roth era Van Halen with Mike Anthony singing you know on those so it was like the best of all worlds right so then they brought it to Vegas and they did a Vegas residency.
- 46:07SPEAKER_09: Well Sammy Hagar businessman that he is uh never let something like that go to waste so they they recorded the residency and they're releasing it uh live or on LP um so this uh Sammy Hagar and the best of all worlds band nice track list Encore Thank you goodnight which is his new song yeah I think we listened to that we did yeah Top of the World Panama is in physical formats only Summer Nights there's only one way to rock humans being right now 5150 Pound Kick Ain't talking about love with Mike Anthony on vocals Eagles Fly Best of both worlds why can't this be love rock candy Mostaquila Heavy Metal I Can't Drive 55 Love Walks in and When It's Love.
- 46:53SPEAKER_09: Some well one of these I told you Panama is on physical formats only so it's on CD and vinyl can't get it digitally if you download the but the same can be said for when it's love is in digital formats only.
- 47:04SPEAKER_09: So they're they're they're screwing you over one way or the other I know right so now you're gonna have to get both of them.
- 47:09SPEAKER_09: Yeah apparently yeah it's just the way it's just that's just the way it works.
- 47:14SPEAKER_09: The first single is Summer Nights I thought you said they do a Satch song well they didn't put it on there whatever they did go.
- 47:42SPEAKER_09: Wow it's a hot summer night just pause it there for a second because you know Joe Saturn did a fantastic job on this whole tour.
- 47:54SPEAKER_09: Oh sure uh and on this as well but you can tell you can tell it's it's not eddy it's not eddy no it's just it's it doesn't have that eddy feel.
- 48:02SPEAKER_09: No I mean I'm still gonna get it.
- 48:14SPEAKER_09: Oh heck yeah totally nothing to his voice this is a seven seven seventy six year old guy he's seventy seven now button did you know that was the first song that they did together?
- 49:30SPEAKER_16: Yeah I think I read that somewhere I actually I think I read it in uh Sammy's biography.
- 49:35SPEAKER_09: Yeah Eddie had already had the music yeah so when Sammy came over to jam uh he played in the music and he just started making up words yeah and the song was done done crazy next song crazy uh and then we have a new uh new track from Cheap Trick.
- 49:53SPEAKER_09: Oh now I have Cheap Trick's last album which was pretty good uh because I don't know how to say this but I mean the our our favorites are getting up there.
- 50:05SPEAKER_09: Well they're not young men anymore.
- 50:08SPEAKER_09: No it's true.
- 50:09SPEAKER_09: But this is the the the album that they did in 2021 is called In Another World and come on the Subman the Subman Sub I think Robin Xander is so underrated as a vocalist.
- 50:55SPEAKER_09: Yeah he's got one of the best voices in rock and roll but nobody talks about it.
- 51:00SPEAKER_09: Cheap trick I guess you know they've always been you know they're top tier band but they've always been as a second or third treated as a second or third tier yeah I don't know if it's because they're Midwest bands Ario Speedwagon's the same type of thing or anyway uh so that was in 2021 so cheap trick has a new album coming out it's called All Washed Up perfect that's perfect it's coming out November 14th let's see they have previewed their 21st LP with the single 12 gates and it's described as a sweet slab of psychedelic guitar sugary pop rock hooks and lush beatle esque vocal harmonies so this is cheap trick 12 gates from the new album I think they described it pretty well yeah it's to a T, man.
- 53:06SPEAKER_09: Yeah you can hear all those elements that's a good song I like it yeah I think and I was curious as to because I know that uh Rick Nielsen has to be in his 70s.
- 53:19SPEAKER_09: I want to hear or how uh how old Robin Xander is because what a voice.
- 53:25SPEAKER_09: Yeah it's gotta be around the same his voice just yeah I mean it's it holds up man.
- 53:29SPEAKER_09: Let's see let's go to Wikipedia.
- 53:33SPEAKER_16: Wikipedia 72 yeah 72 and he sounds amazing but you know it's so hard to tell nowadays because everything is auto-tuned and pitched correct and everything like that.
- 53:45SPEAKER_16: I was watching uh Wings of Pegasus uh the other day and he was uh going over Shania Twain and she it's totally a backing track she's what do you what do you mean which which part is a backing track like all her all of her live shows he had six different live shows and they're all the same and she's singing and I don't know she can't be because she's he he pointed out like specific parts where like it was flat yeah but she was flat every single time at every single show.
- 54:21SPEAKER_16: It's like you can't do that.
- 54:22SPEAKER_16: Well you can if you're yeah I mean but I mean the same way every time 'cause you you've seen him he runs it through that that uh pitch uh pitch modulation you know so you can watch it.
- 54:34SPEAKER_09: Yep.
- 54:35SPEAKER_16: Yeah they're all they look he he interposed all six and they looked all exactly the same.
- 54:41SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 54:41SPEAKER_16: And I was like man so I mean if you're going to a concert you don't know if they're actually singing or not anymore.
- 54:47SPEAKER_16: Right.
- 54:47SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 54:48SPEAKER_16: You know it's it's it's disappointing but I I get it because all these people are getting up in age and they're you know they're going on these really long tours yeah you can't sustain that anymore.
- 54:59SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 55:00SPEAKER_16: You know what I mean?
- 55:01SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 55:02SPEAKER_09: It's true.
- 55:03SPEAKER_09: I I do think I I do think the older uh artists like we talked about doobie brothers how went so the Doobie Brothers uh Michael McDonald is really singing yeah um he's he's struggling to hit those notes I mean because of his age and stuff like that but he's doing it yeah um I think bands like that I think they're actually doing it I don't think that they're there's no tracks there.
- 55:27SPEAKER_16: Um I mean I I hope not but he's I mean every time I I see a video and I turn it on it's like it's another one going down man you know it's like you know he did the Bon Jovi Yeah same thing.
- 55:42SPEAKER_09: Really?
- 55:42SPEAKER_09: Yeah well that doesn't surprise me that doesn't surprise me because of his voice because of his voice.
- 55:46SPEAKER_16: Yeah yeah so I totally get that um but there were so many and you're just like you know they're all just like falling.
- 55:53SPEAKER_16: Yeah you know they're falling in and I don't know if it's necessarily the artist but it is it is it their management that are making this you know they're like okay you guys gotta people are paying to see this you need to put on a good show so let's make it so I mean they're doing it live and sometimes you can you can hear it.
- 56:09SPEAKER_16: I mean I've I've watched his stuff so much that now I understand what he's talking about but you can hear the auto tune correct it.
- 56:17SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 56:17SPEAKER_16: Because you it sounds we when it sounds weird yeah you know the autotune's correcting their pitch.
- 56:22SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 56:23SPEAKER_16: You know I'm you know and I I I've I've watched so many of his videos that I'm just like oh I pick it up now and I'm like wow that sucks right you know but I just I I think it's just I think you know like we say the music industry is changing man it's just it's it's not the same as it was.
- 56:40SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 56:40SPEAKER_16: Not even 20 years ago.
- 56:41SPEAKER_09: It's not the same you know earlier this century.
- 56:46SPEAKER_09: It's funny that you say that um uh remember we were talking about um that I can't wait till we go out as a syndicate or skin the Elvis and we're out of tune.
- 56:55SPEAKER_12: That's gonna be awesome man.
- 56:56SPEAKER_09: I'm just gonna be like You're gonna be like saying different words and stuff.
- 57:01SPEAKER_16: Yeah I'm gonna be like you know Al Jackson when his drummer when his drummer didn't have any sticks.
- 57:06SPEAKER_16: Yeah you know I think I know that thing.
- 57:07SPEAKER_09: Yeah it's been like a kung fu movie.
- 57:09SPEAKER_09: Yeah Hello shoot now you made me forget what it was going to say.
- 57:17SPEAKER_09: Oh no we were talking so that uh Rick Biotto interview on CBS News where where he had created that Sadie Winters artist and they'd taken it around to these people in Nashville and they they eventually told them that it's not a real person.
- 57:30SPEAKER_09: Yeah that it's AI and they were obviously blown away.
- 57:33SPEAKER_09: And then but then he asked them how do you feel about that?
- 57:36SPEAKER_09: And and d does it matter to you like if you heard this song on the radio does it matter to you that it's not a real person and one of them said started by saying uh I'm gonna say no it doesn't matter to me because I like the song and I like her voice.
- 57:53SPEAKER_09: But there's something to be said for all of these artists in in all of these clubs she's pointing around Nashville that you can go up and have a conversation with and you can reach out and touch and you can you know there's something tangible there.
- 58:08SPEAKER_09: And and then they went to all these other people and every one of them said live music is where it's at.
- 58:15SPEAKER_09: I mean if if I can't if I like if I can't go see this artist that's disappointing.
- 58:20SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 58:20SPEAKER_16: You know I mean you can listen to it all day long on you know streaming but I mean if you want to go see them live it's not gonna happen.
- 58:27SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 58:28SPEAKER_16: Yeah you know so I mean you know you're always gonna need live musicians.
- 58:31SPEAKER_16: That's that that's one comforting thing about this whole thing.
- 58:35SPEAKER_09: That made me feel better when they said that they all said you know it really doesn't matter to me that it's AI.
- 58:41SPEAKER_09: However I'd like to go see this artist.
- 58:43SPEAKER_16: Yeah if you want to go out and listen to music you don't you know you want to see that person.
- 58:48SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 58:49SPEAKER_16: You can't see an AI person.
- 58:50SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 58:51SPEAKER_16: I mean but they do have those hologram things.
- 58:54SPEAKER_09: I know it's just I mean it's so I mean that's you know we are everything that we've seen we're a dying breed man.
- 59:00SPEAKER_09: Well everything that we've seen in the movies like in the 80s of like the future it's all coming true.
- 59:06SPEAKER_10: Oh yeah yeah it's coming it's just uh it took a while but it it's getting here yeah yeah uh I'm depressed I'm depressed too curl up in a ball I don't want to go on score I don't want to play mixtape what if I just want to I want my blanky I'm depressed now you don't want to play mixtape no I want to play mixtape of course I want to play mixtape it's the best game ever hey you know I thought about this I I did I just thought about this remember you know how I asked uh uh uh Larry cousin Larry if he would do some more some newer imaging correct would our illustrious judge so we have a female voice would our illustrious judge do any imaging for us?
- 1:00:02SPEAKER_09: I don't know I can ask her I think we just did okay yeah let's see what you did because I still would actually I got a surprise for you this week because instead of a chat she sent me a voice note I'm excited yeah so you'll actually get to hear her answer today maybe I'll say now never mind now she's got a really cool voice she got a great voice I'm just kidding so all right so so we're doing the past so that was the I don't remember what it was I don't even remember what the question was it was a question what are the what what are the answers to remember I don't remember what what oh she oh she It's a voice I don't know I don't remember okay hold on uh well actually we'll find out if we just play the voice thing yeah right here let me let me yeah you gotta you gotta turn that down see I gotta find it'd be kind of neat to have a female voice or Brian and Doug as well turn the volume up here we go here we go hey uh I am super sorry about this uh I had a family emergency come up and I am actively driving so um really shouldn't text a very long response and uh driving at the same time.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_08: So um running the choices in my head again.
- 1:01:33SPEAKER_08: I um I also had to go with that's book this week.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_08: Uh Battle of Norwegian first off it's pretty badass that you memorize all of those words.
- 1:01:42SPEAKER_08: And secondly I absolutely had to go with a song about history and war.
- 1:01:47SPEAKER_08: It's like that's my little niche in life is I love World War history.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_09: Um no wonder you guys are good friends.
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_09: Right?
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_08: Yeah oh my phone went dark and I thought it stopped recording.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_09: I hope this goes through ended so that doesn't tell me what the question was though.
- 1:02:08SPEAKER_09: It was the uh the first song you memorized Oh oh oh that's right mine was a Michael Jackson song yes yeah that's right um I like her voice.
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_09: I told you man yeah she could do some pretty cool uh I know right and so so if you're listening our illustrious judge judgeness what did we call her again?
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_09: Judgeness Judgeness um we just want you to r record something saying uh like you're listening to the O'Brien and Doug podcast or O'Brien and Doug.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_09: You can do it cool like if you want you can do like O'Brien and Doug or you know why don't you just let her do it I'm just I'm just dictating no no no I'm not telling her what to do I'm saying you can do it any way you want and do it and do it like multiple you know different ways because we'll use them all some somewhere.
- 1:02:56SPEAKER_09: Alright.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_09: Same thing with Larry.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_09: Yeah uh do do a bunch of different kinds of uh imaging and and we'll cut them up and make them sound really cool.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_09: Yeah yeah so that'll be cool.
- 1:03:08SPEAKER_16: Um all right so let's do present all right present when was the lion riding a lion to work in slow-mo.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_16: It was a really weird one.
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_16: Yeah so this is what Cousin Larry said.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_16: Mixtape oh boy I thought of so many songs and I oh yeah which you never said what your choice was so d well well I want to see if well you you said you wanted to say yours before cousin Larry.
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_09: Yeah all right and I'm gonna tell you mine.
- 1:03:33SPEAKER_09: So this is riding a lion to work in slow motion.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_09: To work in slow motion.
- 1:03:39SPEAKER_09: Alright so this was this was my choice and I I wanted this I I was curious as to whether Cousin Larry would pick this as well.
- 1:03:50SPEAKER_09: Oh goodness yeah that's exactly what he chose I'm telling you I'm telling you Larry and I are the same person.
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_09: Well done this is oh this is the play.
- 1:04:08SPEAKER_16: Yeah so this is what he said uh I've used uh I thought of so many songs including a few I've used for other mixtape questions The Lion Sleeps Tonight by the Tokens or Robert John's version came to mind first.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_16: Also the immigrant song by Led Zeppelin and Yakin Sack by Boots Randolph also came to mind right away.
- 1:04:25SPEAKER_16: But I think I have to go with a running montage staple Chariots of Fire by Vangelis.
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_16: Vangelis, yeah yeah I know it's been used many times but I think it would be funny and the thought of me running is even funnier.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_16: Honorable mention to Tom Petty's running down a dream and Queen's Don't Stop Me Now this is the first thing that popped into my head was Chariots of Fire.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_09: Yeah and I I was that's why and I knew he would pick the same one.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_09: That's so funny.
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_09: That's so funny.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_09: Alright uh okay well I'm gonna let that play a little bit while you tell us what yours is well I went you know me I can't uh I couldn't take this seriously right well yeah so I was so the wait this was not me taking it seriously no I know but I picture that yeah I just me riding to work on a line yeah is the whole the whole question is absolutely ridiculous.
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_00: But uh I went with uh I don't know why I chose this but it was the first song that came to my head as Harry Nielsen's my best friend let me tell you about my best friend okay I figure from riding a line he's gotta be my best friend you know what I mean no oh shoot I forgot the wrong thing hold on is this it right here's friend hearted person to love me to the end people let me tell you about my best It's funny.
- 1:06:09SPEAKER_12: That's funny.
- 1:06:11SPEAKER_12: As soon as I read the question.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_12: When I read the question, this is the first song that pops in my head.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_12: So I was just like, I gotta go with it, man.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_09: Wow.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_09: Oh, that's funny.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_09: That's funny.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_09: Alright, so there's your two choices.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_09: Um My Best Friend by Harry Nilsson.
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_09: Or Chariots of Fire by Vangelis or Vangelis.
- 1:06:37SPEAKER_09: I think it's Vangelis.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_09: This is good.
- 1:06:39SPEAKER_09: What is the new one?
- 1:06:42SPEAKER_13: The future question.
- 1:06:57SPEAKER_09: Not a good one.
- 1:07:02SPEAKER_09: Let me get this going like that.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_09: Just play that while we're our new, our new theme song.
- 1:07:10SPEAKER_09: No.
- 1:07:20SPEAKER_16: You got one?
- 1:07:22SPEAKER_09: Oh, this is an interesting one.
- 1:07:23SPEAKER_09: Alright, alright, go ahead.
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_16: What song or band changed the way you think about music?
- 1:07:31SPEAKER_09: Change the way you think about music.
- 1:07:33SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 1:07:35SPEAKER_09: That's an interesting one.
- 1:07:36SPEAKER_09: It is an interesting one.
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_16: Let me send this to Kuzneri.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_09: What what song or band?
- 1:07:45SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 1:07:45SPEAKER_09: What song or band changed the way you think about music?
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_09: Alright.
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_05: O'Brien and Zuckerberg taking the wheel.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_05: Breaking the balls.
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_09: Uh, we'll take a break.
- 1:07:57SPEAKER_09: Thank you, Chad Kroger.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_09: We'll take a break.

- 1:09:34SPEAKER_09: You kind of you did.
- 1:09:35SPEAKER_09: You kinda jostled me a little bit.
- 1:09:38SPEAKER_09: Time to climb the wall of tunes.
- 1:09:40SPEAKER_09: Let's play that music right now.
- 1:09:41SPEAKER_10: Jesus gracious, I'm going to do this.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_16: I bought some propel water.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 1:09:52SPEAKER_16: Okay, good to know.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_16: It's Barry.
- 1:09:55SPEAKER_09: It's Berrygood.
- 1:09:56SPEAKER_02: Berry Good.
- 1:09:57SPEAKER_09: Um Alright.
- 1:09:58SPEAKER_09: Doug's gonna read from A Hard Days.
- 1:10:01SPEAKER_09: Hard Days Right by Steven Turner.
- 1:10:04SPEAKER_09: Steven Turner.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_09: I think I would know that name right now.
- 1:10:06SPEAKER_09: I'm gonna take my headphones off and pull from the wall tunes.
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_16: We're going off the yellow submarine album.
- 1:10:12SPEAKER_16: Hey Bulldog!
- 1:10:14unknown: Hey Bulldog.
- 1:10:15SPEAKER_16: Hey Bulldog was recorded on February 11th, 1968, when the Beatles were at Abbey Road to make a pro promotional film for Lady Madonna.
- 1:10:24SPEAKER_16: Paul suggested that instead of wasting time pretending to record Lady Madonna, they should tape something new.
- 1:10:31SPEAKER_16: And so John produced some unfinished lyrics he had written for Yellow Summary.
- 1:10:36SPEAKER_16: John explained to the others how he had heard the song, and they all threw in suggestions for the words.
- 1:10:41SPEAKER_16: One line John had written, Some kind of solitude is measured out in news, was misread and came out as some kind of solitude is measured out in you.
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_16: They decided to keep it.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_16: The bulldog of the title never existed before the recording.
- 1:10:57SPEAKER_16: The original lyric mentioned a bullfrog, but to everybody's amusement, Paul started to bark at the end of the song.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_16: Because of this, they retitled it.
- 1:11:09SPEAKER_16: Eric Siegel, the author of Love Story, was one of the screenwriters on Yellow Submarine.
- 1:11:14SPEAKER_16: I didn't know that.
- 1:11:15SPEAKER_09: I didn't either.
- 1:11:16SPEAKER_16: Years later, he claimed that Hey Bulldog had been written for him because of the because the Bulldog was the mascot of Yale University, where he was a lecturer in classics.
- 1:11:30SPEAKER_09: Cool.
- 1:11:41SPEAKER_03: You can talk to me.
- 1:11:43SPEAKER_03: If you're lonely, you can talk to me.
- 1:11:46SPEAKER_09: This is one of those Beatles songs that I may have heard twice.
- 1:11:49SPEAKER_16: Yeah, it's not it's not definitely not one of their more popular songs.
- 1:11:53SPEAKER_16: It just it's more of a filler.
- 1:11:56SPEAKER_16: Yeah, it's exactly what it is.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_03: What do you think?
- 1:12:34SPEAKER_01: Those crazy kids.
- 1:12:37SPEAKER_09: My goodness.
- 1:12:38SPEAKER_09: All right, I have an album.
- 1:12:40SPEAKER_09: All right, so let the guessing begin.
- 1:14:20SPEAKER_09: So I was gonna give you another clue.
- 1:14:22SPEAKER_09: You probably wouldn't have got it from the from the clue, but I'm gonna give it to you anyway.
- 1:14:25SPEAKER_09: So Brian Howe, who was the singer in Bad Company after Paul Rogers left.
- 1:14:31SPEAKER_09: So Bad Company Mach 2.
- 1:14:33SPEAKER_09: Right.
- 1:14:34SPEAKER_09: They put out, I don't know, four albums, five albums, something like that.
- 1:14:37SPEAKER_09: In the eighties and early nineties.
- 1:14:39SPEAKER_09: Uh Brian Howe sang for Ted Nugent uh on a couple of tours.
- 1:14:47SPEAKER_09: So I don't know.
- 1:14:48SPEAKER_09: I didn't know that.
- 1:14:48SPEAKER_09: Just a little little trivia.
- 1:14:50SPEAKER_09: A little trivia.
- 1:14:50SPEAKER_09: So that's how they're connected.
- 1:14:51SPEAKER_09: I did not pick the Dan Yankees debut album, which is a second one?
- 1:14:55SPEAKER_09: This is the second one.
- 1:14:56SPEAKER_09: And there is, rumor has it, a an uh an elusive third album.
- 1:15:02SPEAKER_09: Yeah, nobody knows where it is.
- 1:15:03SPEAKER_09: Yeah, well they sh they paid them I read this story.
- 1:15:06SPEAKER_09: They paid them each a million dollars or millions of dollars to shelve it.
- 1:15:10SPEAKER_09: Yeah, and never release it or something like that.
- 1:15:14SPEAKER_16: So um I'm sure it's in Ted Nugent's gun safe or something.
- 1:15:17SPEAKER_16: Something.
- 1:15:18SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 1:15:18SPEAKER_09: Um so this album had a couple of hits uh on it, uh so much so that I only put three songs on my iTunes.
- 1:15:30SPEAKER_16: I was about to say it wasn't I I didn't enjoy it as much as the first one.
- 1:15:33SPEAKER_09: No, there were there were about three songs.
- 1:15:35SPEAKER_09: Well, the the three songs that I put.
- 1:15:39SPEAKER_09: So the the basically the title cut of the second album, which this came out in 1992, by the way.
- 1:15:45SPEAKER_09: This is Don't Tread on Me.
- 1:15:49SPEAKER_09: And if that's not a Ted Nugent riff, I don't know what it is.
- 1:15:52SPEAKER_16: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 1:15:53SPEAKER_16: You can tell right away.
- 1:17:00SPEAKER_09: Not only is that a Ted Nugent riff, but that is a Ted Nugent Oh, yeah.
- 1:17:07SPEAKER_16: Anything that's pro American, you know it's gonna be Ted.
- 1:17:10SPEAKER_09: Uh fifteen minutes of fame.
- 1:17:38SPEAKER_09: That's crazy to me.
- 1:17:39SPEAKER_09: I know, right?
- 1:17:42SPEAKER_16: I remember I remember buying this album at the PX in Hawaii.
- 1:17:46SPEAKER_16: Really?
- 1:17:47SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 1:17:48SPEAKER_16: Well, it was it was damn Yankees.
- 1:17:50SPEAKER_16: I was like, oh, cool, man.
- 1:17:52SPEAKER_16: Because I was getting ready to get deployed.
- 1:17:54SPEAKER_16: So I wanted something to listen to while I was out in the field.
- 1:17:57SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:17:57SPEAKER_16: And uh, yeah, so I picked that up and I was like, ah, I made a huge mistake.
- 1:18:03SPEAKER_16: It's like, I gotta listen to this for a month.
- 1:18:05SPEAKER_16: Crap! It it wasn't, I wanted to say it wasn't bad.
- 1:18:10SPEAKER_02: But it wasn't what I was hoping for.
- 1:18:12SPEAKER_09: Yeah, no, no, because the first album was was kind of hard to follow up.
- 1:18:16SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 1:18:38SPEAKER_09: Alright, so there's that.
- 1:18:39SPEAKER_09: But then the the obviously the biggest hit from this second album from Damn Yankees was a ballad.
- 1:18:45SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 1:18:46SPEAKER_09: Because on the first on the first album you had high enough.
- 1:18:48SPEAKER_09: Yeah, that was huge.
- 1:18:49SPEAKER_09: That was huge.
- 1:18:50SPEAKER_09: Huge.
- 1:18:50SPEAKER_09: Uh so much so that Night Ranger still plays it in concert.
- 1:18:53SPEAKER_09: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:18:54SPEAKER_09: I believe that.
- 1:18:55SPEAKER_09: Uh, but this one was actually kind of a big hit.
- 1:18:58SPEAKER_09: It's called Where You Goin' Now.
- 1:19:05SPEAKER_09: You remember this one?
- 1:19:06SPEAKER_09: Yep.
- 1:19:07SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 1:19:24SPEAKER_04: And you closed your eyes.
- 1:19:28SPEAKER_04: Much easier to turn away.
- 1:20:03SPEAKER_09: Great harmonies.
- 1:20:04SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 1:20:08SPEAKER_16: As far as super groups, this is one of the best ones.
- 1:20:11SPEAKER_16: I think so, too.
- 1:20:12SPEAKER_16: You know, yeah.
- 1:20:13SPEAKER_16: I mean, you can't, I mean, the the roster.
- 1:20:16SPEAKER_16: Yeah, I mean is just unbelievable.
- 1:20:18SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 1:20:19SPEAKER_16: You know what I mean?
- 1:20:19SPEAKER_16: It does it doesn't get much better than this.
- 1:20:22SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 1:20:22SPEAKER_09: You know what I mean?
- 1:20:26SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 1:20:27SPEAKER_09: Tommy Shaw's back with sticks.
- 1:20:29SPEAKER_09: Uh Jack Blade's back with Night Ranger.
- 1:20:31SPEAKER_09: They're not they're not gonna stop that anytime.
- 1:20:33SPEAKER_09: So Ted Nugent is retired from touring, supposedly.
- 1:20:36SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 1:20:37SPEAKER_09: Um He just runs his hunting thing, yeah.
- 1:20:39SPEAKER_09: So Yeah, so I I don't see them you know, maybe you're never gonna see another damn Yankee.
- 1:20:44SPEAKER_09: No, no.
- 1:20:45SPEAKER_16: Yeah, I don't think I would like to hear the uh the one they shelved though.
- 1:20:48SPEAKER_16: I would too.
- 1:20:49SPEAKER_16: Yeah, I would like to hear that.
- 1:20:51SPEAKER_09: You know what they should do is they should they should put it out uh and release all the proceeds to charity.
- 1:21:00SPEAKER_15: Yeah.
- 1:21:00SPEAKER_09: You know?
- 1:21:01SPEAKER_09: I think people would buy it.
- 1:21:02SPEAKER_09: And I I think you'd they'd make it they'd make a ton of money for charity.
- 1:21:06SPEAKER_09: Yeah, that's what they should do.
- 1:21:08SPEAKER_09: Call the album charity.
- 1:21:09SPEAKER_09: Uncle Ted, listen.
- 1:21:11SPEAKER_09: Listen, yeah.
- 1:21:12SPEAKER_16: We have an idea.
- 1:21:15SPEAKER_09: Right?
- 1:21:15SPEAKER_16: I mean Yeah, I think that's a great idea, man.
- 1:21:18SPEAKER_16: No sense if it's sitting on the shelf and nobody hears it.
- 1:21:21SPEAKER_16: Right.
- 1:21:21SPEAKER_16: Yeah, that's a waste.
- 1:21:22SPEAKER_16: What a waste!
- 1:21:24SPEAKER_09: Um If it's even if it even exists.
- 1:21:27SPEAKER_09: Not sure.
- 1:21:27SPEAKER_09: You know, because I mean that could just be like a a myth.
- 1:21:30SPEAKER_09: Yeah, urban legend kind of.
- 1:21:31SPEAKER_09: Urban legend, yeah.
- 1:21:32SPEAKER_09: That uh and I almost think that uh he um Tommy Shaw was was on uh a podcast one time where he kind of dispelled that myth, but maybe I'm wrong.
- 1:21:43SPEAKER_09: I could be wrong.
- 1:21:44SPEAKER_16: You never know, man.
- 1:21:46SPEAKER_16: That's true.
- 1:21:48SPEAKER_16: That's true.
- 1:21:48SPEAKER_16: Alright, uh that is episode two.
- 1:21:51SPEAKER_16: Uh I did mention to the judge about I I did put her voice on it.
- 1:21:56SPEAKER_16: She's like, I can do that from now on.
- 1:21:58SPEAKER_16: I said that would be fantastic.
- 1:21:59SPEAKER_16: Oh yeah.
- 1:22:00SPEAKER_16: So she's gonna do that from now on.
- 1:22:01SPEAKER_16: Very cool.
- 1:22:02SPEAKER_16: Yes, we'll have her on the podcast.
- 1:22:03SPEAKER_16: She'll be a regular part.
- 1:22:05SPEAKER_09: Oh, that's awesome.
- 1:22:05SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 1:22:06SPEAKER_09: Um do we want to play it through the through your f the microphone every time?
- 1:22:12SPEAKER_09: What would we do?
- 1:22:13SPEAKER_09: We gotta find a way.
- 1:22:14SPEAKER_09: There must be a way.
- 1:22:15SPEAKER_09: By the way, we should in invest a little bit more money into this podcast.
- 1:22:19SPEAKER_16: Well, let's let's let's ask your daughter.
- 1:22:21SPEAKER_09: She would know.
- 1:22:22SPEAKER_09: I want to get a better one of these.
- 1:22:23SPEAKER_16: Oh, I do too.
- 1:22:24SPEAKER_09: This one's kind of uh Yeah, it's run its course.
- 1:22:26SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 1:22:26SPEAKER_09: We can I mean it still works great.
- 1:22:28SPEAKER_09: Yeah, we can use it like if we go on the road.
- 1:22:30SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 1:22:30SPEAKER_09: You know, or something like that.
- 1:22:31SPEAKER_09: So I'd like to have a like a more I do too.
- 1:22:34SPEAKER_16: One that has uh uh a AC plug.
- 1:22:37SPEAKER_09: Yeah, more connections.
- 1:22:38SPEAKER_09: More yeah, more connections too.
- 1:22:40SPEAKER_12: One that runs on electricity and not batteries.

- 1:23:20SPEAKER_12: Taylor Carvey doing Ross Perot inside of it like what's gonna be.
- 1:23:28SPEAKER_09: Now I know, now I know what we're doing.
- 1:23:30SPEAKER_09: We know where we're using drops.
- 1:23:35SPEAKER_09: Oh, I got a joke for you.

- 1:23:46SPEAKER_09: No, that's not right.
- 1:23:47SPEAKER_09: That's not right.
- 1:23:47SPEAKER_09: This moth went to see his podiatrist.

- 1:23:52SPEAKER_09: And the moth said to his podiatrist, he said, Listen, uh, I'm really down the dumps.
- 1:23:59SPEAKER_09: My wife left me.
- 1:24:00SPEAKER_09: I lost my job.
- 1:24:02SPEAKER_09: Um, and my dog died.
- 1:24:05SPEAKER_16: Why does a moth have a dog?
- 1:24:07SPEAKER_09: And the podiatrist says, Well, that sounds like stuff for your psychiatrist.
- 1:24:13SPEAKER_09: I I'm a podiatrist.
- 1:24:14SPEAKER_09: Why why didn't you go see your psychiatrist?
