- 0:02Speaker 1: Of making.
- 0:07Speaker 2: My contribution to this conference and then to this most
- 0:11Speaker 2: important theme.
- 0:13Speaker 1: When I saw the theme of.
- 0:15Speaker 2: The conference, it struck my heart because it's a description
- 0:20Speaker 2: of my life. For me, it's not a preacher's note.
- 0:25Speaker 1: It's a testimony. I know what it means to be
- 0:28Speaker 1: helped by God.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Sharing are not necessarily just a preacher's note honestly it
- 0:38Speaker 2: is it is me hoping to share my heart and
- 0:42Speaker 2: i'm hoping in the name of jesus that god will
- 0:44Speaker 2: bless us amen and amen and amen your confidence and
- 0:50Speaker 2: your exploits in this kingdom is connected to your knowledge
- 0:55Speaker 2: of god the degree to which you reign the degree
- 1:00Speaker 2: to which you do exploits in this kingdom is connected
- 1:05Speaker 2: to your knowledge of God. Daniel chapter 11 and verse 32,
- 1:09Speaker 2: the B part says, but.
- 1:10Speaker 1: The people that do know their.
- 1:13Speaker 2: God, it says they shall be strong and they shall
- 1:18Speaker 2: do exploits. So doing exploits in all its ramification in
- 1:23Speaker 2: this kingdom is directly connected to the depth of your
- 1:28Speaker 2: knowledge of God.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
- 1:30Speaker 2: The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the
- 1:32Speaker 2: beginning of wisdom. It says the knowledge of the holy,
- 1:36Speaker 2: that is understanding to the degree to which you have
- 1:40Speaker 2: a functional knowledge of God, not just a theoretical knowledge,
- 1:45Speaker 2: a functional knowledge.
- 1:47Speaker 1: And let me digress for one minute and.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Just say a word or two about knowing God. As mighty,
- 1:53Speaker 2: as mysterious as God is, he can be known. He
- 1:57Speaker 2: wants to be known. And he's created the platforms and
- 2:01Speaker 2: the resources for the saints to be able to know him.
- 2:05Speaker 2: There are at least four channels according to scripture that
- 2:09Speaker 2: can help a believer know God. Let me just run
- 2:11Speaker 2: through it. Number one is through the scripture. The first
- 2:16Speaker 2: way we know God is through the study of the scripture.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
- 2:21Speaker 2: He said, ye search the scripture for in them ye
- 2:24Speaker 2: think you will find life and you will not come
- 2:26Speaker 2: to me.
- 2:26Speaker 1: He said, the scripture testify of me.
- 2:29Speaker 2: So when we search the scripture, it helps us to
- 2:32Speaker 2: know God, particularly to understand his character. And you may
- 2:38Speaker 2: have heard me say that Psalm 103, in my personal opinion,
- 2:43Speaker 2: contains the richest compendium of God's character in all of scripture.
- 2:48Speaker 1: When you read Psalm 103 from verse.
- 2:50Speaker 2: 1 to the end, it's a concise description of God's character.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Number two, the second way we know God is by
- 3:01Speaker 2: studying his names. We know God by studying his names.
- 3:07Speaker 2: There was a reason why God allowed himself to carry
- 3:11Speaker 2: multiple names as he related with men.
- 3:15Speaker 1: So he's the God Almighty.
- 3:18Speaker 2: There are names that are personal to him, but there
- 3:20Speaker 2: are names that are testaments to Of the various dimensions
- 3:24Speaker 2: of himself.
- 3:25Speaker 1: That was revealed to his people. From Jireh to Rapha.
- 3:29Speaker 1: And Eleazar. As we have it here. It's a revelation.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Of what God is able to do.
- 3:37Speaker 2: In Exodus chapter 6. Exodus chapter 6. Are we getting
- 3:42Speaker 2: blessed already? Let me just do it. Give us Exodus
- 3:44Speaker 2: chapter 6 and verse 3.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I'd like us to read it together. This is just the.
- 3:51Speaker 1: What they call it? Appetizer?
- 3:52Speaker 2: Appetizer?
- 3:53Speaker 1: What do you eat before the main course? So, Wadwina appetizer.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Let's read together. We'll read six.
- 3:59Speaker 1: One to go. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and
- 4:04Speaker 1: to Jacob as....
- 4:07Speaker 2: But by my name, Yahweh, or Lord, I was not
- 4:11Speaker 2: known to them. So, one of the ways you know
- 4:14Speaker 2: God is by.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Learning his names.
- 4:18Speaker 2: So, his possibilities and his various dimensions are trapped in
- 4:22Speaker 2: his name. When you study Jireh, it's an unveiling of
- 4:26Speaker 2: a dimension of God you will not find in any
- 4:29Speaker 2: other name. You will not find Jireh in Rapha, yet
- 4:31Speaker 2: it's the same God.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 4:34Speaker 2: Number three, the third way we learn God according to
- 4:38Speaker 2: scripture is to study the man, Jesus. When you study
- 4:43Speaker 2: the man, Jesus, you find through the revelation of Jesus
- 4:48Speaker 2: or through the manifestation of Jesus, the revelation of God.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
- 4:54Speaker 2: The Bible says God who in sundry times and diverse
- 4:57Speaker 2: manners speak to us in time past through the prophets
- 5:00Speaker 2: had in these last days spoken to us through his
- 5:02Speaker 2: son whom he had appointed heir of all things. And
- 5:06Speaker 2: the Bible calls him the brightness of his image.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
- 5:10Speaker 2: And so on and so forth. Upholding all things by
- 5:12Speaker 2: the word of his power. The Bible calls him the
- 5:15Speaker 2: express image of the invisible God. So when you study
- 5:19Speaker 2: the man Jesus, you learn God. This is life eternal,
- 5:24Speaker 2: John 17, 3, that they may know thee, the only
- 5:28Speaker 2: true God and Jesus.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Whom thou hast sent.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Hallelujah. So when you study Jesus, you understand God. And
- 5:39Speaker 2: what is very particular about learning God through Jesus is
- 5:43Speaker 2: that Jesus also came as a verification system to every
- 5:49Speaker 2: knowledge that had been proposed about God That means everything
- 5:54Speaker 2: the prophets, everything the patriarchs said about God, Jesus came
- 5:59Speaker 2: as a marking script. He came as a verification system.
- 6:03Speaker 2: So that whatever they said God was, if we did
- 6:06Speaker 2: not find it in Jesus, we use Jesus as a
- 6:09Speaker 2: marking script to correct our understanding of God as they
- 6:13Speaker 2: gave it to us.
- 6:14Speaker 1: You understand that now?
- 6:15Speaker 2: So for instance, when you read scriptures like a lying
- 6:18Speaker 2: spirit came from the Lord. you know immediately that it
- 6:21Speaker 2: was an error in judgment of the prophets. The prophets
- 6:23Speaker 2: were human because the Bible tells us that when he came,
- 6:26Speaker 2: he was full of grace and truth. That statement already
- 6:30Speaker 2: cancels out that possibility in God because he's not a
- 6:33Speaker 2: man that he should lie to. not the son of
- 6:35Speaker 2: God or man that he should repent. So when the
- 6:38Speaker 2: Bible says a lying spirit is either an error in
- 6:41Speaker 2: the understanding of the prophets or an error in translation.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Usually that's where we get the error. Either a limitation
- 6:49Speaker 2: because we see in parts and we prophesy in parts.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Are we together? Or there was a problem in translation
- 6:56Speaker 2: because the Old Testament was largely written in Hebrew and
- 7:00Speaker 2: And then the New Testament was a combination of Greek
- 7:02Speaker 2: and Aramaic.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Here and there you would find Latin too.
- 7:06Speaker 2: And the words, the Hebrew and Greek words are very
- 7:09Speaker 2: strong pregnant words. One word can have a variety of meanings.
- 7:14Speaker 2: And so in selecting, English is a very limited word.
- 7:18Speaker 2: So in selecting the English word to represent the Hebrew
- 7:22Speaker 2: or Greek connotation, many times those who did the translation
- 7:26Speaker 2: did their best, but they were limited. Are we together?
- 7:29Speaker 2: An example is using the word eternal or everlasting for
- 7:33Speaker 2: the words away. You see, it's a very limiting word,
- 7:37Speaker 2: but they did the best that they could do. So
- 7:40Speaker 2: eternal life, the word zoe, is beyond eternal, is beyond everlasting.
- 7:45Speaker 1: You see that?
- 7:46Speaker 2: But that was the best English word that could capture
- 7:50Speaker 2: as much as possible what zoe was.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Represented. I hope you're getting me so far. Praise God.
- 7:58Speaker 2: So we learn God, number one, through the study of scripture.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Number two, by studying his names. Number three, by studying
- 8:06Speaker 2: the person Jesus.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Number four, experience.
- 8:09Speaker 2: The fourth way is the weakest way we know God,
- 8:12Speaker 2: but it's also one of the ways we know God, experience.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Job said, I have heard of thee with the hearing
- 8:17Speaker 2: of the ear. He says, but now my eyes see
- 8:19Speaker 2: at thee. A man can experience God.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Hallelujah. You can understand God.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Let the wise man not glory in his wisdom. Let
- 8:28Speaker 2: the rich man not glory in his riches. Let the
- 8:31Speaker 2: strong man not glory in his strength or might. But
- 8:34Speaker 2: let him that gloried glory in this, that he understandeth
- 8:38Speaker 2: and knoweth me. You can taste and see that the
- 8:41Speaker 2: Lord is good. Not just hear a sermon about him.
- 8:44Speaker 2: There is an experience. Is someone learning now? So I
- 8:48Speaker 2: just started. I said that so that because we're going
- 8:50Speaker 2: to be discussing a name now. The whole discussion is
- 8:53Speaker 2: about the name. So I just wanted to put that
- 8:55Speaker 2: as a background. So when you say, I want to
- 9:00Speaker 2: know God, there's no superstition about it. These are the boundaries.
- 9:03Speaker 2: If you go outside them, you will encounter familiar spirits.
- 9:07Speaker 2: You will encounter all kinds of extra biblical phenomena. They
- 9:12Speaker 2: may be spiritual, but they will not paint a picture.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Maybe there might be more, but in my study of scripture,
- 9:19Speaker 2: These are the boundaries of a believer's learning God.
- 9:23Speaker 1: When you go beyond these boundaries, you are prone to error.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 9:29Speaker 2: You notice experience was the weakest, but it is still
- 9:32Speaker 2: there because it's important. But the value of experience is
- 9:35Speaker 2: that there is scripture, you understand his names, you understand Jesus,
- 9:40Speaker 2: then your experience can support. So when you say, I
- 9:43Speaker 2: know God, I say, how? If you say, I had
- 9:44Speaker 2: a vision, I doubt you. I don't care that the
- 9:47Speaker 2: vision is spiritual and authentic. Experience is the weakest way
- 9:51Speaker 2: of knowing God, even though it is powerful. By experience,
- 9:54Speaker 2: I don't mean encounter. They are two different, similar words,
- 9:58Speaker 2: but they are not the same. An encounter is different
- 10:00Speaker 2: from an experience.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Hallelujah. Praise the name of the Lord. Okay, so let's
- 10:05Speaker 1: go to our topic now.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I'll be teaching along your theme and we're trusting that
- 10:14Speaker 2: God will grant us grace in the name of Jesus.
- 10:19Speaker 1: El Eza, God my helper. So let's explore the help
- 10:24Speaker 1: of God.
- 10:25Speaker 2: I can imagine what Reverend Sam has done in terms
- 10:29Speaker 2: of establishing your understanding. And we'll just build on that
- 10:32Speaker 2: as God grants grace in Jesus' name. So like you know,
- 10:35Speaker 2: the word El Eza is a Hebrew word. Has many expressions,
- 10:40Speaker 2: but it literally means God my helper or God.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Who has helped me.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
- 10:47Speaker 2: It's one of the expressions, it was very customary for
- 10:50Speaker 2: the people to name God after their experience with him.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Or sometimes God himself will instruct them to build a
- 10:59Speaker 2: monument around that name and then offer sacrifices around it
- 11:02Speaker 2: so that if their children ask them, what happened, why this?
- 11:06Speaker 2: They would use the name and initiate a story that
- 11:09Speaker 2: will plant or sustain the fear of God in the people.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Are we together now? Praise the name of the Lord.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Now, the idea of help, please look up. I'm teaching now.
- 11:21Speaker 2: When you hear the word El Eza, the Greek or
- 11:25Speaker 2: the English translation in simple terms just says help. But
- 11:30Speaker 2: the word help there is very limiting because it's a
- 11:34Speaker 2: very broad word. It doesn't just mean to assist alone.
- 11:37Speaker 2: There are three ways There are three layers.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Are we together now?
- 11:43Speaker 2: There's a tripartite understanding that equals that word help that
- 11:47Speaker 2: is used there. Number one, talks about support and assistance.
- 11:52Speaker 2: So when he says eleza and he uses the word
- 11:54Speaker 2: help there, number one, it talks about support and assistance.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Number two, it talks about strength and empowerment. I'm showing
- 12:06Speaker 2: you the dimensions of it. help as captured so number
- 12:10Speaker 2: one talks of help support and assistance number two it
- 12:15Speaker 2: talks of help as strength providing strength and empowerment in
- 12:19Speaker 2: the new testament we call it the enabling grace are
- 12:24Speaker 2: we together now the grace that empowers men to do
- 12:27Speaker 2: and then number three we talk of rescue and deliverance
- 12:31Speaker 2: so let me take that slowly it's important we get
- 12:34Speaker 2: this foundation so when we're talking about god who is
- 12:37Speaker 2: my help or my helper, I want you immediately to
- 12:41Speaker 2: peg your understanding along these three layers of help. For
- 12:47Speaker 2: the average person, you may just think assistance. That's the
- 12:50Speaker 2: generic understanding of help.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 12:53Speaker 2: So generally speaking, to help means to assist. So that
- 12:57Speaker 2: you are able to fulfill a task. Or accomplish a task.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Am I right on that? If I say help me
- 13:02Speaker 2: pick this. I will participate in the process. But I
- 13:06Speaker 2: just need your assistance. And help has two major assignments.
- 13:10Speaker 2: To make things possible. And to make things easy. That's
- 13:14Speaker 2: the whole assignment of help. When you help a man
- 13:17Speaker 2: in whatever way you come in, you help, you make
- 13:20Speaker 2: things possible and you make things easy. If I say
- 13:24Speaker 2: you have helped me, that means you have provided strength
- 13:27Speaker 2: or whatever to make things possible and to make things easy.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Everybody say possible. Say easy. One more time, say possible.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Say easy. Now, so I'm talking about the help of
- 13:40Speaker 2: God is three-dimensional. Number one, it talks of providing support
- 13:45Speaker 2: and assistance. You have that down? Number two, providing strength
- 13:50Speaker 2: and empowerment. The Holy Ghost, who is called the helper,
- 13:55Speaker 2: is also the one who strengthens. Remember?
- 13:58Speaker 1: And then number three, providing rescue and deliverance.
- 14:04Speaker 2: So every time you say, I'm trusting God for help,
- 14:07Speaker 2: you must talk intelligently as a believer. Your mind should
- 14:11Speaker 2: be broad. Are we together now? You know why it's
- 14:14Speaker 2: important to teach believers truth?
- 14:16Speaker 1: It helps your prayer. Prayer is supported by understanding and intelligence.
- 14:21Speaker 2: When you say, I receive help, your mind can say,
- 14:24Speaker 2: I receive assistance and stop there.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Whereas what you need is deliverance.
- 14:28Speaker 2: So when you are supported by this understanding and you say,
- 14:31Speaker 2: I receive help, you know what you are saying. You
- 14:34Speaker 2: can mean, I receive support, I receive assistance, I receive
- 14:38Speaker 2: strengthening and empowerment. Are we learning already? And then I receive,
- 14:42Speaker 2: what's the third one? Rescue and deliverance. Any one of
- 14:46Speaker 2: these three elements is translated help. Now you understand the
- 14:49Speaker 2: word eleza, right? So I just needed to put that introduction.
- 14:54Speaker 2: God helps men settle it for a fact. I don't
- 14:58Speaker 2: think we need to drag and argue. God helps men.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Isaiah chapter 41 from verse 10 to 14. Very profound scripture.
- 15:08Speaker 2: I'd like us to read and somewhere along the line
- 15:10Speaker 2: I'd ask you to support me as we read.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Isaiah chapter 41.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I'm reading 10 to 14. Ready?
- 15:17Speaker 1: Let me read and then you'll come in somewhere. But
- 15:20Speaker 1: please look while I read.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Fear not. For I am with you.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Be not dismayed. For I am your God.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Now you read. I will strengthen you. Yes. I will
- 15:31Speaker 2: help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Verse 11. It says behold. All those who were incensed
- 15:39Speaker 2: against you shall be ashamed and disgraced. They shall be
- 15:42Speaker 2: as nothing. And those who strive with you shall perish.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Is this a prophecy for someone? It says you shall
- 15:50Speaker 2: seek them and not find them. Those who contended with you,
- 15:54Speaker 2: those who war against you shall be as nothing, as
- 15:57Speaker 2: a non-existent thing. Verse 13, for I, the Lord your God,
- 16:02Speaker 2: will hold your right hand saying to you, fear not,
- 16:06Speaker 2: I will help you. Verse 14, it says, fear not,
- 16:10Speaker 2: O worm Jacob, you men of Israel, I will help you,
- 16:13Speaker 2: sayeth the Lord and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
- 16:18Speaker 2: The Lord bless the reading of his word in Jesus' name.
- 16:21Speaker 2: So God helps men. Second Chronicles chapter 26. Let's read
- 16:28Speaker 2: verse 5 then we jump to verse 15.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Verse 5.
- 16:32Speaker 2: He sought God in the days of Zechariah who had
- 16:35Speaker 2: understanding in the visions of God. And as long as
- 16:38Speaker 2: he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper. Jump
- 16:43Speaker 2: to verse 15 please. He made devices in Jerusalem invented
- 16:47Speaker 2: by skillful men. To be on the towers and on
- 16:51Speaker 2: the corners. To shoot arrows and large stones. Read the
- 16:54Speaker 2: last sentence with me.
- 16:55Speaker 1: One, two, go. So his fame spread far and wide.
- 17:00Speaker 2: For he was marvelously helped. Till he became. Are you
- 17:04Speaker 2: seeing that this help now does not talk of deliverance.
- 17:07Speaker 2: This one talks of empowerment. Is someone learning now? Ready
- 17:13Speaker 2: for one last scripture? Let's go to the book of Acts.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Acts chapter 26 and verse 22.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Acts 26, 22. Hallelujah.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I like this one. Therefore, having obtained help from God,
- 17:30Speaker 2: to this day, I stand.
- 17:35Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Leave the other things. We've gotten what we're looking for.
- 17:40Speaker 2: KJV says, having obtained help from the Lord, I continue.
- 17:45Speaker 2: I continue the stamina to remain. That when the dust settles,
- 17:50Speaker 2: you are still standing. And they say, by what means
- 17:53Speaker 2: are you still standing? Haven't gone through fire. Haven't gone
- 17:56Speaker 2: through water. And you tell them you were marvelously helped
- 17:58Speaker 2: of God. I prophesy to someone, in the name of Jesus,
- 18:02Speaker 2: over your life, over your ministry, 2026 will be the
- 18:06Speaker 2: most evident year of God's help in your life. I
- 18:10Speaker 2: prophesy to a believer, 2026 will be the most evident
- 18:14Speaker 2: year of God's help. Even the blind will know you
- 18:19Speaker 2: are being carried on the wings of the Spirit. In
- 18:22Speaker 2: the name of Jesus Christ. Please be seated. Please be seated. Hallelujah.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Now take note of the following thoughts. Number one. Every
- 18:33Speaker 2: man succeeds in life and destiny to the degree to
- 18:37Speaker 2: which they find help. I choose my words carefully. Every
- 18:40Speaker 2: man succeeds in life and destiny to the degree to
- 18:44Speaker 2: which they find help. There are many variables that equal success.
- 18:49Speaker 2: But among them, a major part of that success pie chart.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Help is the variable that is needed there. I've seen
- 18:56Speaker 2: very intelligent people, very articulate people, very resourceful people, but
- 19:01Speaker 2: simply because they lacked help, perhaps help as a leverage
- 19:06Speaker 2: of endorsement, they can remain stunted, they can remain, you know.
- 19:10Speaker 1: In the dark as far as destiny is concerned.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Every man succeeds in life and in destiny to the
- 19:17Speaker 2: degree to which they find help. Second thought. God desires
- 19:25Speaker 2: and is willing to help men. God desires and he
- 19:30Speaker 2: is willing to help men. Psalm 121 and verse 1.
- 19:35Speaker 2: It's important for you to not just know that God
- 19:38Speaker 2: can help men, but that he desires to help men.
- 19:42Speaker 2: It says, I will lift up my eyes onto the hills.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Are we together? It says, from where? cometh my help?
- 19:52Speaker 2: When you read KJV, it presents this as a question.
- 19:57Speaker 2: It says, from whence cometh my help? And then it says,
- 20:01Speaker 2: my help, verse 2. I like that one. My help,
- 20:05Speaker 2: not your help. I don't know where you get yours from.
- 20:08Speaker 2: It's a risk to generalize and say, I will help.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Because some trust in horses. Some trust in chariots. But
- 20:14Speaker 2: my help cometh from the Lord which made heavens and
- 20:20Speaker 2: the earth. Is God blessing you already? Let me send you,
- 20:27Speaker 2: let me give you one more scripture that just came
- 20:29Speaker 2: into my spirit. Let's go to Psalm 20. I will
- 20:32Speaker 2: read it, but let it be a prayer for you.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Psalm 20 verse 1. It just came strong into my spirit.
- 20:39Speaker 2: The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble. The
- 20:43Speaker 2: name of the God of Jacob defend you. I say
- 20:48Speaker 2: it again. The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble.
- 20:51Speaker 2: The name of the God of Jacob defend you. Verse 2.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Verse 2. Send thee. So help is sent. Send thee.
- 21:06Speaker 2: From his sanctuary. Are you in his sanctuary tonight? That
- 21:10Speaker 2: means you are in the place of help. Send the help.
- 21:14Speaker 2: From his sanctuary. And strengthen thee.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Out of Zion.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Say I receive help. Turn it into prayer in one minute.
- 21:22Speaker 2: I receive help. Help in ministry. Come on, someone is praying.
- 21:26Speaker 2: I receive help in my finances. I receive help over
- 21:30Speaker 2: my job. I receive help in the name of Jesus.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Man can be helped. The Lord heard in the day
- 21:36Speaker 2: of trouble. The God of Jacob defend you. Send the
- 21:40Speaker 2: help in 2026 from his sanctuary. 20 seconds.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Send the help. Send the help.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Sandy support, sandy strength, sandy deliverance by his spirit.
- 22:02Speaker 1: In Jesus' matchless name we pray.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Please be seated. Have you understood me so far?
- 22:10Speaker 1: Alleluia.
- 22:11Speaker 2: I'm trying to rush because I want us to stay somewhere.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I'm hoping we'll be able to cover much tonight.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Alleluia.
- 22:21Speaker 2: So I said that the word Eleazar describing the help
- 22:25Speaker 2: of God carries a threefold dimension. Help as support and assistance.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Help as empowerment and strengthening. And then help as rescue
- 22:40Speaker 2: or deliverance. And that it's important for you to know
- 22:44Speaker 2: that every man succeeds in life and destiny to the
- 22:47Speaker 2: degree to which they find help. There are people who
- 22:50Speaker 2: may not be as gifted, they may not be as resourceful,
- 22:55Speaker 2: but the edge in their life is that they found help.
- 23:00Speaker 1: And like you'll be learning, they found help on time.
- 23:05Speaker 2: When I describe the character of God's help, you will
- 23:08Speaker 2: be learning that help has timing. Help can come late.
- 23:16Speaker 2: There are two qualities that describe God's kind of help.
- 23:19Speaker 1: You're making me go ahead of myself.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I don't know what kind of hunger is in this
- 23:22Speaker 2: place this night, but don't tempt me.
- 23:24Speaker 1: The Bible says we should resist temptations. Hallelujah.
- 23:29Speaker 2: But just as a teaser, wait for me until I
- 23:30Speaker 2: get there, but just for you to know that help
- 23:33Speaker 2: can come too late. That was the reason why the
- 23:36Speaker 2: sister of Lazarus cried. When Jesus arrived, she said, your
- 23:39Speaker 2: coming is a waste. And Jesus said, me? I'm the
- 23:42Speaker 2: resurrection and the life. I'm not just a healer, Hallelujah now.
- 23:50Speaker 2: When help comes on time, it is called help in.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Time of need. Have you read that in your scripture?
- 23:57Speaker 2: Let us therefore come boldly before the throne of grace.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I hope God is ministering to someone that we might
- 24:04Speaker 2: obtain grace and find help in time of need. Help
- 24:11Speaker 2: can come after or beyond the time of need. So
- 24:16Speaker 2: in prophesying over your life tonight and tomorrow, I'm not
- 24:20Speaker 2: just going to pray for help.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I will pray that it comes early. It says satisfy
- 24:25Speaker 1: me early.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Early. There are many people who if they had gotten help, medically, help, financially,
- 24:33Speaker 2: on time. Come on now. The man who stayed 38 years,
- 24:40Speaker 2: it was not a possibility problem. It was that his help,
- 24:44Speaker 2: even though his help was Jesus, he came after 38 years.
- 24:49Speaker 2: The man who healed him was not 38 years old.
- 24:52Speaker 2: So his trouble started before the arrival of Jesus. Please sit,
- 24:57Speaker 2: please sit, please sit, please sit. I've turned from a
- 25:00Speaker 2: chef to a pilot. So I think we're ready to
- 25:03Speaker 2: fly now. Why do we need help? It's important for
- 25:11Speaker 2: us to appreciate the necessity for help. Why do we
- 25:15Speaker 2: need help? There are certain facts that will help to
- 25:24Speaker 2: guide our desire for help. If you do not know
- 25:27Speaker 2: why you need help, you may not appreciate it when
- 25:30Speaker 2: it comes. Number one. The first reason why we need
- 25:34Speaker 2: help is that all men, even at their best, are limited.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Please write that down. The first reason why we need
- 25:42Speaker 2: help is that all men, even at their best, are limited.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Very uncomfortable but profound statement.
- 25:51Speaker 1: All men, even at their best, are limited. Psalm 103,
- 25:55Speaker 1: 14 to 16.
- 25:55Speaker 2: All men. Even at their best are limited. Read with me.
- 26:02Speaker 2: The Bible says, for he knoweth our frame. He remembereth
- 26:07Speaker 2: that we are dust. It's not an insult. It's an
- 26:09Speaker 2: honest description. It says, as for man, watch this. His
- 26:13Speaker 2: days are as grass as the flower of the field.
- 26:18Speaker 2: So he flourisheth.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Verse 16.
- 26:20Speaker 2: For the wind passed over it and it is gone.
- 26:24Speaker 2: And the place thereof shall know it no more. That's
- 26:27Speaker 2: the frailty of man unassisted by God. So when you
- 26:33Speaker 2: find people who are proud in their own strength, you
- 26:37Speaker 2: refer them to a scripture like this.
- 26:40Speaker 1: That the best of man is still limited. Are we
- 26:44Speaker 1: together now?
- 26:46Speaker 2: In Jeremiah chapter 10, I believe in verse 23. Give
- 26:49Speaker 2: us Jeremiah 10. And verse 23, very quickly describing the
- 26:53Speaker 2: state of man. It says, O Lord, I know that
- 26:57Speaker 2: the way of man.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Is not in himself.
- 27:00Speaker 2: It is not a man that walketh to direct his steps.
- 27:05Speaker 2: This statement is a great deliverance. That it is not
- 27:09Speaker 2: a man to direct his steps. No matter how visionary
- 27:13Speaker 2: you are, there are some things about your destiny you
- 27:15Speaker 2: will not know. it will come as a description of
- 27:19Speaker 2: God's help, not a product of research, not a product
- 27:22Speaker 2: of investigation, not a product of intelligence. I know that
- 27:27Speaker 2: I will, the sun, the moon, and 11 stars will bow,
- 27:31Speaker 2: but that's how much I know. How I will get
- 27:33Speaker 2: there is a mystery, only the help of God. When
- 27:36Speaker 2: they threw that guy, hunger alone would have destroyed. Can
- 27:39Speaker 2: you imagine a vision that powerful? You can look at
- 27:43Speaker 2: Potiphar's wife. Those are major issues. But hunger would have
- 27:46Speaker 2: killed him right in the dry well there. But the
- 27:49Speaker 2: help of God caused his brother to say, you know what?
- 27:52Speaker 2: Let's not kill him. Let's sell him. Let's sell him.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Let's sell him.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Thank you, Jesus. All men at their best are limited.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Number two. Why do we need help? If you are learning,
- 28:14Speaker 2: shout amen. The second reason why we need help, I
- 28:18Speaker 2: want you to listen and.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Then you write.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Human factors like sentiments and biases, like injustice, like greed,
- 28:27Speaker 2: like selfishness. Human factors can sometimes alter or negatively affect
- 28:34Speaker 2: our results. Even when you follow the principles correctly. Human factors,
- 28:41Speaker 2: factors like injustice, factors like greed, factors like selfishness, factors
- 28:48Speaker 2: like tribal sentiments, it can veto your obedience of principles
- 28:53Speaker 2: and still punish you even when you get things right.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Someone can say you are deserving of promotion, but because
- 29:00Speaker 2: you are Yoruba, because you are a houser or because
- 29:03Speaker 2: I fought with your father before he died. How is
- 29:06Speaker 2: that your business?
- 29:07Speaker 1: You see that now.
- 29:08Speaker 2: The reality of human factors is what necessitates help. It
- 29:14Speaker 2: is vain to wake up in the morning. Does that
- 29:16Speaker 2: sound like laziness? No, it sounds like diligence. When you
- 29:19Speaker 2: wake up in the morning, you are a serious person.
- 29:21Speaker 2: When you sleep late at night, you are hardworking, but
- 29:24Speaker 2: you can still eat the bread of sorrow.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Yahweh Father of mercy I come to you Yahweh Father
- 29:43Speaker 4: of mercy, I come to you. Oh, Father of mercy,
- 29:54Speaker 4: I come to you.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Oh, Let me tell you this. Don't wait until life
- 30:07Speaker 2: teaches you a lesson to know how wicked men can be.
- 30:11Speaker 2: There are times everything can be right on your own part,
- 30:15Speaker 2: but a man just turns your way and says, I
- 30:18Speaker 2: don't like you, or I don't like your father, or
- 30:20Speaker 2: I don't like where you come from. You can get
- 30:24Speaker 2: 100% in the promotion interview and somebody will keep Human factors, sir.
- 30:34Speaker 2: There are many people today who should not be in
- 30:36Speaker 2: the prison. But they are there.
- 30:39Speaker 1: There are many people who should be in the prison.
- 30:42Speaker 2: And they are the ones taking those who should go
- 30:44Speaker 2: to the prison there. See that help. There are people
- 30:50Speaker 2: who have zero financial intelligence. Yet they have money. And
- 30:56Speaker 2: they are wasteful while they are having it. But there
- 30:58Speaker 2: is a system of help that replenishes. And there are
- 31:01Speaker 2: diligent people who know what to do with money. They
- 31:05Speaker 2: have the intelligence. They've read every book. All they need
- 31:07Speaker 2: is the leverage. And yet it is not there.
- 31:11Speaker 5: Yahweh, Father of mercy, I call on you. Yahweh, the
- 31:23Speaker 5: Father of mercy, I call on you. You're the father
- 31:32Speaker 5: of mercy.
- 31:33Speaker 4: Hallelujah.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Listen.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Don't feel insulted.
- 31:40Speaker 2: But how many of you know there are many irresponsible
- 31:43Speaker 2: people who have a U.S.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Passport?
- 31:47Speaker 2: It's not a product of diligence. They were born there.
- 31:53Speaker 1: And as much as.
- 31:55Speaker 2: It is painful, they can still go everywhere that passport
- 31:58Speaker 2: can take them. But there are diligent people who were
- 32:02Speaker 2: born somewhere else. And simply because, please sit down, sit down.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Let's sit down.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Let's do this.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Let's discuss this thing.
- 32:13Speaker 2: At the end of this meeting, you will cry for
- 32:15Speaker 2: help with all your heart. You will learn from this
- 32:19Speaker 2: teaching that the race is not to the swift. That
- 32:21Speaker 2: the battle is not to the strong. Nor bread to
- 32:25Speaker 2: them who have understanding. Honestly it is God that shows
- 32:28Speaker 2: men mercy. I have heard people preach. And wondered why
- 32:36Speaker 2: they are still at that level of ministry. Based on
- 32:39Speaker 2: the level of insights they have. I have seen people
- 32:44Speaker 2: one day. One time I was returning somewhere from the east.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Reverend Sam. And I saw people gathered. I think it
- 32:51Speaker 2: was somewhere. I saw people gathered around, just looked like a,
- 32:56Speaker 2: you know, a T-junction. And I was wondering why they
- 32:59Speaker 2: were gathered there. It was a young gentleman who had
- 33:02Speaker 2: simulated a G-Wagon. He built it and he was test
- 33:07Speaker 2: running it. But that gentleman may not go anywhere. There
- 33:12Speaker 2: are many people today who are 130, 120, they are
- 33:16Speaker 2: still alive. But simply because they don't know them. They
- 33:19Speaker 2: are not in the Guinness Book of Records. The person
- 33:22Speaker 2: who is there, he's not the truth, but he's the
- 33:24Speaker 2: one they know. Oh, Father of mercy.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Human factors, sir.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Human factors, sir.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Human factors. Human factors. Number three, the reality of Satan
- 33:53Speaker 2: and demonic forces. The third reason why you need help. Unfortunately,
- 33:59Speaker 2: Satan is alive.
- 34:00Speaker 1: He's still alive. Demons are still alive. And they are
- 34:03Speaker 1: not alive, lazy and around.
- 34:06Speaker 2: They are visionary with a project to thwart everything God
- 34:09Speaker 2: about your destiny. The reality of Satan and demonic forces
- 34:14Speaker 2: alongside their determination.
- 34:16Speaker 1: To fight your destiny.
- 34:25Speaker 2: An adversary he says i will build my church then
- 34:28Speaker 2: he says and the gates of hell the gates of
- 34:31Speaker 2: hell is a description of the infrastructure of satan build
- 34:37Speaker 2: bespoke to destroy the destiny of the saints hallelujah did
- 34:44Speaker 2: you the bible talks about a young boy called jabez
- 34:53Speaker 2: It starts that story with the end. Then it now
- 34:56Speaker 2: tells us the context. He says, and Jabez was more
- 34:59Speaker 2: honorable than his brethren. But what happened? The Bible says
- 35:02Speaker 2: the mother bore him in sorrow and she named him Jabez.
- 35:06Speaker 2: It was not a good name. It was a description
- 35:09Speaker 2: of her pain and it followed him. One day he
- 35:12Speaker 2: got angry.
- 35:13Speaker 1: He said, oh, that that would have blessed me.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Reverend Sam, there's the story of.
- 35:20Speaker 1: The man who was crippled from birth.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Crippled from where?
- 35:24Speaker 1: So it's not the issue of you didn't fight anybody.
- 35:26Speaker 2: They even asked Jesus. They said, come on. This is
- 35:29Speaker 2: not fair. Who seen that this man was born blind?
- 35:32Speaker 2: Was it him or his father? You have to explain
- 35:35Speaker 2: to us why someone just arrives and arrives with blindness.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Arrives and arrives crippled. The man at gate, beautiful, was
- 35:43Speaker 2: crippled from birth. I understand the man who maybe lived
- 35:50Speaker 2: a riotous life like the prodigal son, then found himself
- 35:53Speaker 2: feeding with swine.
- 35:55Speaker 1: But what do you say about the person who was
- 35:57Speaker 1: born that way? Demonic forces, sir. Demonic forces.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Did you hear in your Bible that when Jesus was born,
- 36:11Speaker 2: there was a cry in Ramah. Women lost their children
- 36:14Speaker 2: because a savior was born. Why should people die because
- 36:18Speaker 2: a savior arrived? I thought the arrival of the savior
- 36:21Speaker 2: should even redeem lives. And because a savior arrived, children
- 36:26Speaker 2: his age made two years and above, they died. So
- 36:29Speaker 2: if you were Jesus' age mate, because you were his
- 36:32Speaker 2: age mate, you would die. You didn't do anything wrong.
- 36:36Speaker 2: You were just born together with a savior. I'm walking
- 36:42Speaker 2: your mind for a reason. Are we learning now? Let
- 36:48Speaker 2: me tell you, ladies and gentlemen, when you look at
- 36:50Speaker 2: this world, you see that many things don't balance.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Am I right on that?
- 36:55Speaker 2: Some of you came to church angry. You've been angry
- 36:57Speaker 2: for the past two weeks. God sent me to give
- 36:59Speaker 2: you perspective. What kind of father? What kind of mother?
- 37:02Speaker 2: You see that now? And then demonic forces administered healing,
- 37:10Speaker 2: administered deliverance to many people. Beautiful lady, handsome gentleman. But
- 37:16Speaker 2: because of where you come from or because of those
- 37:19Speaker 2: connected to you, demonic forces are real.
- 37:25Speaker 1: So you need help.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Help as deliverance. Help as deliverance. It says, I have
- 37:31Speaker 2: heard the cry of my people by reason of their
- 37:34Speaker 2: taskmasters and I am come down.
- 37:37Speaker 1: To deliver them.
- 37:38Speaker 2: For someone in the name of Jesus, this is the
- 37:41Speaker 2: night you will wave goodbye to certain calamities. In the
- 37:45Speaker 2: name of Jesus Christ. Every pattern insulting the grace of God.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Mocking the dignity of your life as a Christian. In
- 37:56Speaker 2: the name of Jesus, it is buried tonight forever. There's
- 38:06Speaker 2: nobody in Africa and Nigeria I know.
- 38:09Speaker 1: except your.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Parents or grandparents paid the price before you arrive out.
- 38:14Speaker 2: But the average person, when you arrive, you will first
- 38:17Speaker 2: deal with what was older than you first before you
- 38:20Speaker 2: start living your life. And if you are not careful,
- 38:23Speaker 2: you will finish that battle when you are 50. That's
- 38:25Speaker 2: when you will now start living your own life. Yes, sir.
- 38:31Speaker 2: That you arrive and the battle you are fighting is
- 38:34Speaker 2: older than you. It was there. Your father could not
- 38:37Speaker 2: fight it. And it was waiting for you. You arrive
- 38:41Speaker 2: and you are fighting. And if in ignorance you keep pushing.
- 38:45Speaker 2: And by the time maybe you are 40 or 50.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Then you are done with it. Then you now turn
- 38:50Speaker 2: back and say okay let me live my life. And
- 38:52Speaker 2: you find out there is no time again. I pray
- 38:54Speaker 2: for you. May help come on time. May help come
- 39:03Speaker 2: on time oh. In the name of Jesus. Say I
- 39:06Speaker 2: receive help. Say it again.
- 39:08Speaker 1: I receive help.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Say I receive help. Please be seated. We need help
- 39:17Speaker 2: because men are limited. We need help because men are wicked.
- 39:22Speaker 2: We need help because Satan is ever determined to fight
- 39:27Speaker 2: the program of God. Can I tell you, when God
- 39:31Speaker 2: was revealing the blueprint of your destiny to you, you
- 39:34Speaker 2: were not the only one hearing. There was an invisible
- 39:37Speaker 2: audience paying attention to what God said concerning your life.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Satan also had the verdict that you are called to
- 39:45Speaker 2: be Esther. Satan also had the verdict that you are
- 39:48Speaker 2: called to be a deliverer. Did you hear what I said?
- 39:51Speaker 2: When your mother was praying and saying, Lord, I give
- 39:54Speaker 2: you this, my daughter, for your glory, Satan had the conversation.
- 39:59Speaker 2: And let me tell you, Satan is a patient spirit.
- 40:01Speaker 2: He can wait 30 years till you grow. So don't
- 40:05Speaker 2: think you are not praying, you are not fasting, but
- 40:07Speaker 2: I don't sense any oppression. It's because you are not
- 40:09Speaker 2: doing anything serious. Satan is dealing with serious people while
- 40:16Speaker 2: waiting for you to grow. The day you now give
- 40:19Speaker 2: your life to Christ That's the day you have a
- 40:22Speaker 2: strange dream. And the Spirit said, well, you have struck
- 40:25Speaker 2: a chord in the Spirit. I was there to stop
- 40:28Speaker 2: your father. I was there to stop your mother.
- 40:30Speaker 1: And now we are here.
- 40:31Speaker 2: And if you do not understand the appropriation system in
- 40:34Speaker 2: the kingdom. to appropriating your life, what is finished in Christ.
- 40:39Speaker 2: You will be surprised how your life just nosedives. That's
- 40:42Speaker 2: why you hear a lot of people say, as an unbeliever,
- 40:44Speaker 2: I was fine. Satan did not oppress me. Once I
- 40:46Speaker 2: got born again, of course. You think he wastes energy?
- 40:49Speaker 2: Why will he attach you when you belong to him?
- 40:58Speaker 2: He that does not have his spirit is none of his.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Is someone learning so far? I'm provoking you tonight and
- 41:07Speaker 2: I'm praying for you that what happened to me will
- 41:09Speaker 2: happen to you. That you get angry, you look at
- 41:11Speaker 2: your life and cry for help. I trust God that
- 41:15Speaker 2: even if we stop wherever, I still have a session tomorrow.
- 41:18Speaker 1: I want us to take a few minutes later on
- 41:20Speaker 1: to do some prayers.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Some prayers.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Some prayers.
- 41:27Speaker 2: So you don't waste these two weeks.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Hallelujah. It's time for some doors to open. Let me
- 41:40Speaker 1: tell you this, ladies and gentlemen.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Everything you tolerate, you have given it the authorization to
- 41:45Speaker 2: remain in your life. As I'm speaking to you. Look
- 41:50Speaker 2: at your life. Look at your parents. Look at your family.
- 41:53Speaker 2: Tonight's discussion is not just to sit down and feel. No, no, no.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Look at things in your life. If it does not
- 42:00Speaker 2: represent the glory of God.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Then brace up. So that when it's time to pray.
- 42:05Speaker 1: You pray seriously. Pray seriously. Pray seriously.
- 42:14Speaker 2: People rise up. just when they're about to celebrate their success,
- 42:18Speaker 2: they go down. You watch those before you. Some of
- 42:22Speaker 2: them were serious people, but they did not have intelligence.
- 42:26Speaker 2: More serious than you spiritually. And they still went down.
- 42:29Speaker 2: What makes you believe that by default, without understanding, even
- 42:34Speaker 2: the understanding of the help of God. Nathanael looked at Jesus.
- 42:38Speaker 2: He said, forget about this guy. You are calling me
- 42:41Speaker 2: to follow Jesus? If he's a Nazarene, I will not
- 42:43Speaker 2: follow him. They don't have longevity of impact. He said,
- 42:46Speaker 2: can anything good come out of Nazareth? It was a
- 42:49Speaker 2: curse upon them. Ask Samson. So when they said another
- 42:53Speaker 2: celebrity has showed up, he said, forget it. He will
- 42:55Speaker 2: not last. There is something that follows them. They shine
- 42:59Speaker 2: for a season. And either a woman or whatever brings
- 43:02Speaker 2: them down. He said, don't waste my time. And Jesus said,
- 43:05Speaker 2: don't insult Nathaniel. He's an Israelite indeed. He's not telling lies.
- 43:11Speaker 2: He's not telling lies. How long did Jesus last? Three
- 43:14Speaker 2: and a half years in ministry. It's only that he
- 43:17Speaker 2: died purposely.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Take it high for me.
- 43:36Speaker 2: You are my hiding place You always fill.
- 43:44Speaker 3: My heart With songs of deliverance Whenever I am afraid
- 43:54Speaker 3: I will trust in you.
- 44:00Speaker 1: I will trust in you.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Let the weak say I am strong.
- 44:12Speaker 2: In the strength. Hallelujah. Please sit down. Let's see what.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Let's see what else we can cover. Let's see what
- 44:25Speaker 2: else we can cover. Glory be to God. Now there
- 44:28Speaker 2: are two things. The help of God, even though he
- 44:42Speaker 2: walks through men, but there are certain features that brand
- 44:49Speaker 2: the help of God. When God is helping a man,
- 44:52Speaker 2: you can verify that it is God helping that man
- 44:56Speaker 2: using these parameters. Number one, God's help, even though it
- 45:06Speaker 2: may look late, but it is always timely. God's help.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Is always timely.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Hebrews 4 and verse 16. He calls it help in
- 45:20Speaker 2: time of need. Help in time of need. Now, let
- 45:27Speaker 2: me tell you something. I'm just trying to cramp in
- 45:32Speaker 2: so many things I told you earlier on that help
- 45:36Speaker 2: can come too late. Still remember? It is true that
- 45:39Speaker 2: help can come too late. If you're looking for, say,
- 45:44Speaker 2: one or five million naira or 20 or 30 million naira, say,
- 45:48Speaker 2: for someone's kidney transplant, speaking medically, by the time the
- 45:54Speaker 2: man deteriorates or someone who's been struggling, battling cancer, no
- 45:59Speaker 2: money for chemo, and it's at stage four, Even if
- 46:02Speaker 2: you give that person a million dollars and he's dying
- 46:06Speaker 2: the next day, help has come, but it came too late.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Is someone learning now?
- 46:12Speaker 2: Help would have come, but it came too late. Number two,
- 46:16Speaker 2: help can come at a level that does not contribute
- 46:20Speaker 2: significantly in providing solutions. Please look up, look up, look
- 46:24Speaker 2: up before you write. So number one, that help can
- 46:28Speaker 2: come too late. But number two, help can come at
- 46:31Speaker 2: a level that is insignificant.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Are we together? I'll give you an example. If you
- 46:39Speaker 1: are looking for a.
- 46:40Speaker 2: House rent of 5 million and I give you 1,000
- 46:43Speaker 2: naira and I say just buy a recharge card with
- 46:48Speaker 2: it and make calls. In truth, I helped you.
- 46:51Speaker 1: But that help is not significant relative to the issue.
- 46:55Speaker 2: So you don't just need help to come on time.
- 46:57Speaker 2: It must come to the degree that makes an impact.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Is someone learning now? Many people saw the man at Bethesda.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Some said, how are you, sir?
- 47:12Speaker 2: The fact that he could not move his leg and
- 47:14Speaker 2: he lived 38 years meant someone was kind enough to
- 47:17Speaker 2: give him food. Someone was kind enough to take him
- 47:21Speaker 2: to the toilet. Remember, the Bible said the man could
- 47:23Speaker 2: not move. He was there 38 years. I am sure
- 47:27Speaker 2: that someone was kind. It was customary those days to
- 47:30Speaker 2: help the people. For instance, you see perspective of this
- 47:34Speaker 2: in Acts chapter 3.
- 47:35Speaker 1: The man who was carried daily and brought back.
- 47:38Speaker 2: So when the Bible says he was there, it didn't
- 47:41Speaker 2: just mean he was by the sea forever. It just
- 47:43Speaker 2: meant that was his condition. They would carry him there.
- 47:46Speaker 2: The man had to eat. The man had to go
- 47:48Speaker 2: to toilet. The man had to bath. Someone helped him
- 47:51Speaker 2: but not enough to heal him. So you see, in
- 47:55Speaker 2: praying for help, You don't just pray for any kind
- 47:58Speaker 2: of help. It must be significant enough to provide an
- 48:02Speaker 2: impact in your life. Is someone learning now? Yes. So
- 48:07Speaker 2: you're looking for, in financial terms, to help you. 10 million.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Or you are trusting God for someone to speak over
- 48:14Speaker 2: your destiny. And someone just gives you, just counsels you.
- 48:17Speaker 2: You don't counsel demons out of people. Are we together?
- 48:20Speaker 1: But the person has helped.
- 48:22Speaker 2: He did the best that he or she could do.
- 48:28Speaker 2: Help must come on time and it must come to
- 48:30Speaker 2: the degree that provides a significant impact as far as
- 48:36Speaker 2: your needs are concerned.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 48:38Speaker 2: You have five children, you want to pay their school fees,
- 48:42Speaker 2: and someone says, well, I'm sorry, I can't help you
- 48:46Speaker 2: with your school fees, but I can give you five
- 48:48Speaker 2: kg bag of rice. At least feed them. You will
- 48:51Speaker 2: say thank you, because as far as that person's capacity
- 48:54Speaker 2: is concerned, that is help.
- 48:56Speaker 1: But it doesn't add anything so much.
- 48:58Speaker 2: You now see the reason why the disciples spited the
- 49:02Speaker 2: young lad's bread. There were 5,000 people and they were
- 49:06Speaker 2: looking for, remember? When the young lad brought five loaves
- 49:09Speaker 2: and four fish, they said, well, thank you, but what
- 49:12Speaker 2: is this compared to? Among so many people, 5,000 loaves.
- 49:20Speaker 2: men aside women and children and you're bringing five loaf
- 49:23Speaker 2: and two fish sounds silly isn't it Jesus said let
- 49:25Speaker 2: them sit down they will still eat oh your season
- 49:38Speaker 2: has come Oh. Hallelujah. We have a few minutes. Let
- 49:52Speaker 2: me just. Now this is what I will do for
- 49:54Speaker 2: sake of time. I will just list it for you.
- 49:58Speaker 2: And then tomorrow we will deal with it. Will that
- 50:00Speaker 2: be fine? I want to show you how God helps men. There.
- 50:07Speaker 1: In my study. there's at least five channels through which
- 50:11Speaker 1: God helps men.
- 50:13Speaker 2: And some of the channels are compressed together and I
- 50:16Speaker 2: will show you very quickly. Tomorrow, hopefully, we'll have the
- 50:19Speaker 2: time and then we'll discuss those channels because it's important
- 50:23Speaker 2: for you to know how God helps, not just that
- 50:25Speaker 2: he helps.
- 50:26Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 50:27Speaker 2: So how God.
- 50:28Speaker 1: Helps men, number one.
- 50:31Speaker 2: The first way God helps men is through supernatural intervention.
- 50:35Speaker 1: It's an act of his mercy.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Supernatural intervention Deuteronomy chapter 6 please media let's do it
- 50:41Speaker 2: fast from verse 6 Deuteronomy chapter 6 from verse 6
- 50:45Speaker 2: supernatural intervention is the first way God helps men and
- 50:50Speaker 2: these words which I commanded this day shall be in
- 50:53Speaker 2: thy heart verse 7 and thou shall teach them diligently
- 51:00Speaker 2: To your children and talk of them when thou sittest
- 51:03Speaker 2: in your house and when thou walk by the way,
- 51:06Speaker 2: when you lie and when you rise up.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Verse 8.
- 51:10Speaker 2: Ah, no, no, no.
- 51:11Speaker 1: That's not what I'm looking for.
- 51:12Speaker 2: Give me Daniel. Give me Daniel chapter 3. Is it
- 51:16Speaker 2: Deuteronomy 16? I omitted something. Give me Daniel chapter 3
- 51:20Speaker 2: from verse 24. I want to show you the scripture
- 51:23Speaker 2: I was looking for in Deuteronomy was the deliverance. I
- 51:26Speaker 2: think it may be 16. Maybe I omitted something. Now,
- 51:28Speaker 2: then Nebuchadnezzar, watch this. This was Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Remember the story? They were cast into the fiery furnace.
- 51:38Speaker 2: It was not a man that helped them. The Bible
- 51:41Speaker 2: says the likeness of the fourth was like the son
- 51:43Speaker 2: of man. Remember he says, fear not for I have
- 51:48Speaker 2: redeemed you. I have called you by name. When you
- 51:49Speaker 2: walk through the fire, I will be there. Nebuchadnezzar was
- 51:53Speaker 2: astonished and rose up in haste and speak and said
- 51:56Speaker 2: to the counselors, did we not cast three men bound
- 51:59Speaker 2: into the midst of the fire? And they said, oh king,
- 52:02Speaker 2: that's true, 25. He answered, lo, I see four men loose,
- 52:07Speaker 2: walking in the midst of the fire. They have no hurt.
- 52:10Speaker 2: And the form of the fourth is like the son
- 52:13Speaker 2: of God. Verse 26. Nebuchadnezzar came and said, Shadrach, Meshach,
- 52:17Speaker 2: and Abednego, servants of the most high, come forth and
- 52:20Speaker 2: come hither. Then they came out in the midst of
- 52:23Speaker 2: the fire. 27. And the princes, the governors, and all
- 52:26Speaker 2: those men, they saw them. It says, men upon whose
- 52:30Speaker 2: body the fire had no power. nor was an hair
- 52:34Speaker 2: of their head singed, neither their coats changed, nor the
- 52:38Speaker 2: smell of the fire upon them. Verse 28. Then Nebuchadnezzar said,
- 52:43Speaker 2: Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who
- 52:46Speaker 2: had sent his angel. The word angel there is literally
- 52:51Speaker 2: his God, not just his angel, like an angel who came.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Are we together now?
- 52:56Speaker 2: And delivered his servants that trusted in him. We don't
- 52:59Speaker 2: trust in angels like that.
- 53:00Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 53:01Speaker 2: They are ministering spirits. And have changed the king's word.
- 53:05Speaker 2: And yielded their body. That they might not serve or
- 53:07Speaker 2: worship God. And then the decree came in verse 29.
- 53:10Speaker 2: The point is that God helps men. By intervening supernaturally.
- 53:15Speaker 2: The scripture I was looking for in Deuteronomy. Says that
- 53:18Speaker 2: God by the breath of his nostrils. He brought deliverance
- 53:22Speaker 2: to the nation of Israel. So God brings help. By
- 53:27Speaker 2: supernatural intervention. Number two very quickly. The second way God
- 53:36Speaker 2: helps men is through the ministry of angels. Hebrews chapter
- 53:40Speaker 2: 1 and verse 14. The ministry of angels. Hebrews chapter
- 53:47Speaker 2: 1 and verse 14.
- 53:48Speaker 1: Are they not all ministering spirits?
- 53:51Speaker 2: The Bible says they are sent forth to minister for
- 53:56Speaker 2: them who shall be the heirs of salvation. The ministry
- 54:00Speaker 2: of angels. In Genesis chapter 19, we don't have the
- 54:03Speaker 2: time to read it, but that was the story of
- 54:06Speaker 2: Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah. Remember, when rescue was coming
- 54:11Speaker 2: to Lot, it was angels that were sent. Am I right?
- 54:15Speaker 2: And when the angels, they came in the form of men.
- 54:18Speaker 2: And when the Sodomites saw them, they entered Lot's house
- 54:21Speaker 2: to bring him out before calamity would strike. The Bible
- 54:24Speaker 2: says the men came and knocked the door. You see
- 54:27Speaker 2: how crazy those guys were? They said, open the door.
- 54:30Speaker 2: Where are these angels that we may know them? And
- 54:33Speaker 2: Lot said, don't bring this embarrassment up. I will even
- 54:35Speaker 2: give you my daughters. They said, no. And the Bible
- 54:37Speaker 2: says the angels pulled Lot in and struck the people
- 54:41Speaker 2: with blindness and they wearied themselves in front of the door.
- 54:45Speaker 2: The ministry of angels. Acts chapter 12. When you read
- 54:49Speaker 2: from verse 1 to 11. The Bible tells us that
- 54:53Speaker 2: Herod made up his mind to vex certain of the Jews.
- 54:57Speaker 2: And he caught James and beheaded James. And when he
- 55:00Speaker 2: saw that it pleased the Jews.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 55:04Speaker 2: The Bible says he now caught Peter and kept him
- 55:07Speaker 2: and with a quaternion of soldiers. waiting that after the Passover,
- 55:12Speaker 2: he will hand him over to the Jews. The Bible says,
- 55:15Speaker 2: the night he was kept there, but prayer was made
- 55:21Speaker 2: unto God by the church for Peter. And then the
- 55:24Speaker 2: Bible says, in response to that prayer, angels came, light
- 55:28Speaker 2: was shown into the prison, the chains fell off, and
- 55:32Speaker 2: the angel began to lead him out. Bezenji soroba, metemakona, metemakona,
- 55:42Speaker 2: God is sending his angel your way. God is sending
- 55:47Speaker 2: his angel your way. He led Peter through the first court,
- 56:19Speaker 2: led him through the second court, and the Bible says
- 56:22Speaker 2: he came to the iron gates that opens up to
- 56:24Speaker 2: the city. And when he led Peter, Peter confessed something
- 56:29Speaker 2: that I want to pray for you. Can I show you?
- 56:31Speaker 2: Give us Acts chapter 12 and verse 11. Let me
- 56:34Speaker 2: turn it into prayer for someone. Everybody read, please. This
- 56:39Speaker 2: is a powerful prayer. One, two, go. And when Peter
- 56:43Speaker 2: was come to himself, he said, now I know of
- 56:47Speaker 2: a shorting that the Lord had sent his angel, listen,
- 56:51Speaker 2: and had delivered me. Number one, out of the hand
- 56:55Speaker 2: of Herod. Number two, out of the expectation. He was
- 57:00Speaker 2: delivered from two things. One, out of the hand of Herod.
- 57:04Speaker 2: Number two, out of the expectation. God does not just
- 57:11Speaker 2: deliver you from trouble. He delivers you from the expectation
- 57:15Speaker 2: of the wicked. They expect you to cry. They expect
- 57:19Speaker 2: you to fail. It has not happened yet, but why
- 57:22Speaker 2: do the people imagine a vain thing? I know for
- 57:28Speaker 2: a shorty, he sent his angels to deliver me from Herod,
- 57:34Speaker 2: And deliver me from the expectations. So there were those
- 57:38Speaker 2: who were there. They looked harmless. But they had a desire.
- 57:42Speaker 2: Their wish is to see you cry. God can deliver
- 57:45Speaker 2: you from the expectations.
- 57:49Speaker 1: The ministry of angels.
- 57:51Speaker 2: How about Jesus himself in Matthew chapter 4. The Bible
- 57:55Speaker 2: tells us when he was done. When Satan tempted him.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Number 1, number 2, number 3. He rebuked Satan. He
- 58:01Speaker 2: left him for a season. And the angels came and
- 58:04Speaker 2: ministered to him. Even Jesus was ministered to by the angels.
- 58:17Speaker 2: Number 3.
- 58:20Speaker 1: What is the third way God helps men?
- 58:27Speaker 2: This one would deal with this one seriously tomorrow because
- 58:31Speaker 2: it's a pregnant, it's like a woman carrying, I don't
- 58:33Speaker 2: know how many children now. The ministry of men.
- 58:38Speaker 1: The ministry of men.
- 58:40Speaker 2: Ah! The third and very major way God helps, sends
- 58:47Speaker 2: his help to a man.
- 58:48Speaker 1: Is through the ministry of men.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Psalm 115 and verse 16. The heaven of heavens belong
- 58:55Speaker 2: to the Lord. But the earth hath he given to
- 58:59Speaker 2: the children of men. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the
- 59:03Speaker 2: world of men. The heaven of heavens belong to the Lord.
- 59:07Speaker 2: But the earth hath he given to the children of men.
- 59:10Speaker 2: now listen please sit down there are various categories of
- 59:15Speaker 2: men in the bible who represent different dimensions of help
- 59:21Speaker 2: are we together now when we talk about help through
- 59:24Speaker 2: the ministry of men it's a very complex dimension of
- 59:29Speaker 2: god's help There are many categories of men in the
- 59:33Speaker 2: Bible who represent various aspects of the ministry of men.
- 59:38Speaker 2: You can talk about the Bezalels and the Ohiliabs. Are
- 59:42Speaker 2: we together now? Ohiliabs and the Bezalels. Creativity. They came in.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Talk about the Jethro's. Moses' father-in-law, remember? He counseled him.
- 59:54Speaker 2: As anointed as Moses was, he would have died before
- 59:56Speaker 2: his time. Even though he still died, I don't know
- 59:58Speaker 2: if it was before his time, but at least he
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: lived longer because Jethro advised him and said, you're on
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: your way to your grave. How about the wine presser?
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: As anointed and gifted as Joseph was, it took someone
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: to say, I remember my wrong this day. Oh king,
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: there is a man you need to pay attention to.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: How about the slave girl? The little girl who was
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: held captive and went to the house of Naaman. And
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: she said, oh that my master would listen to me.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: She attended to Naaman's wife. Thank God Naaman listened to her.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: And that's how he got his healing. How about Aaron
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: and Hur? Holding the hands of Moses so that victory
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: is sustained in battle. How about the Jonathans? How about
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: the Rahabs who hid the spies?
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: How about Naomi who captured Ruth? I'm not sure Ruth
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: would have had the patience to wait till she met Boaz.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: But I'm sure Naomi counseled her. When she came and said,
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: a man treated me favorably, she said, uh-huh, I see
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: those signs. Now, behave yourself. As you go there, this, this, this,
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: and that. It didn't just happen because it was the
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: will of God. Someone's counsel played a role. It's true.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: God presents the opportunity. Counsel helps you to manage and
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: maximize the opportunity. You can blow up an opportunity that
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: was sent by God and God says, I've done my
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: best for you.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: You had me, but you did not hear counselors.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: It was your hearing me that brought the opportunity, but
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: counselors help you to manage the opportunity.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Are we together now?
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Naomi's. How about Boaz himself? Boaz was a helper. He
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: was a good man. When he saw the young lady,
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: he said, make sure nobody harasses this lady. Leave some
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: path for her to clean. This is without knowing she
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: will be his wife. Let me tell you this. If
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: you are only good to the person you want to marry,
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: you are not.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: A good person.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: If your goodness is not lavish enough, then it has
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: sentiments and biases in it. You hate everybody except the
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: person you love. Something is wrong with your understanding of love.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: You give. You don't give to anybody. And then you
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: zoom down one lady or one guy. You are not
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: a giver. You are an investor. You are a businessman.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: And it will be a bad investment.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Now how about Joshua's? The Joshua's who stood with Moses. Now, strangely,
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: how about Cyrus and Pharaoh? Cyrus and Pharaoh, two men
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: you should never play with. Cyrus and Pharaoh, they are endorsers.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: They are the kind of gatekeepers you cannot cast away.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: God grants you favor to walk through them. Binding and
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: casting them is a useless prayer because God respects their position.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Cyrus and Pharaohs. It took Pharaoh to promote Joseph. And
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: there are Cyrus's. You see, God's ideal is not to
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: work with unbelievers. But where believers are not ready, and
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: if their unreadiness will fight his program, he will route
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: through his wisdom and use Cyrus's. That's why the Bible says,
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: honor all men. Because you don't know which Cyrus is
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: part of your program. If you honor only believers, you
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: will be surprised that your dishonor to the one person,
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: that's the one person that the anointing is on.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Are we together now?
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Daniel did not serve Nebuchadnezzar's God, but he honored Nebuchadnezzar.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: Don't tell me your place of work is so pungent.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: Learn from Daniel. He had an excellent spirit, a stainless
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: track record, and yet he was impactful. The various ministry
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: of men. Judas is. Judas are. Judas. When God is
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: apportioning people to you, if it is God himself that
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: sent Judas, don't drive him away. Remember, it was not
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: a demon that brought Judas. God selected the disciples and
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: selected Judas. There are certain adversaries that are the initiation
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: for glory. And if God were to leave you to
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: choose yourself, you would drive it. So Joseph, on your
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: way to your brothers, you will see a well somewhere there.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: Don't close that well. Although you will be in it,
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: but it's necessary for your destiny. Can I tell you this?
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: If I am to choose my path to life, I
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: will not arrive. You know why? Because many of the
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: things that have carried me now in the spirit of Judas,
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: I would have fought them spiritually.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: And God said, no.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: It's in my wisdom. I know how to work all things.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: Will Jesus ever manifest redemption without Judas? No. It is amazing.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: That it was not Satan that selected Judas.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: Jesus fasted all night and saw Judas, knew his name,
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: the son of perdition, and said, come join them. Let
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: me tell you, ladies and gentlemen, it is the reason
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: why that prayer, thy will be done, is a powerful prayer.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: Because if you are to select the variables for your
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: own destiny, the way we are as men, you will
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: select people who love you too much to let you emerge.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: Did you hear what I said? Their love for you
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: is why you will never manifest destiny. They love you
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: too much.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: When you're about to fast, they say again, nothing challenging you.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Whether you sow or not, they will bring a harvest
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: to you. So you will not respect the law of
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: seed time and harvest. When God is positioning you for destiny,
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: when you see John, receive him. When you see Peter,
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: receive him. When you see Judas, receive him. Apostle Paul,
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: I know he's Judas. Still keep him there. You don't
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: drive every Judas.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: No.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Just because he's Judas does not mean you drive him.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: There is a purpose. Is someone learning now? This is
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: very powerful. Now you understand why the Bible says, for
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: we know that all things, all things, ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: all things, Anybody who does not like me, I will
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: drive him out of life. Be careful, be careful. Many
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: people who don't like you will be the reason why
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: you rise. The reason why you pray. The reason why
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: you watch your step. You know there's someone praying. He
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: will get up in the morning and he's like, has
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: something happened to her? I've been waiting. I thought by
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: now something should have happened to her. They keep you
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: in check. Look at me. The Holy Spirit comes or
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: the angel comes to meet a woman and says you
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: are highly favored. And yet nothing in her life looked
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: like favor. As soon as he was done announcing it
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: was trouble. First, the guy to marry her said, I'm going.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: You have to explain to me all this talk. You
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: and God, go and explain. I don't know what to
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: tell the rabbi, the Sanhedrin, and all of that. You
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: say you're a virgin. Your stomach is protruding. I'm the
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: closest man to you. I don't want stories. I've been
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: a carpenter. I've been diligent. Then you now give birth
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: to the child. And the guy, I don't know what
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: she told him, but I later agreed now. Then because
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: of censors, an angel says, run away with the child.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: You see all the controversy around him. He said, this
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: is too much burden for a child that did not
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: come from me. That's why Abraham just drove Ishmael and said,
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: please go, leave me.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Let me have my own.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: Are you getting the point now? And yet he called
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: it favor.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Look at me. Let me teach you something about favor.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: One of the ways God favors you sometimes is to
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: let you have his car.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Only you will have.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: Because that scar becomes the only reason why they will
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: listen to only you. There are certain platforms that you
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: will not climb because of skill. You will climb because
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: you are the only one who has that scar. Your
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: access to certain platforms will not be your brain.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: It will be your pain.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: It's true.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: I'm not just doing rhetorics with words.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: It's true. Have you suffered enough to teach me about success?
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: Have you been oppressed enough? Else I don't trust your compassion.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: No wonder the Bible says we do not have a
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: high priest. You see, that Jesus was in every way tempted.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: He submitted himself. I always wondered why he had to
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: become a man and then go through all. I understand
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: he would have just become a man, die in two weeks.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: He would have become an adult. He's still a man.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: Die in two weeks and return back quietly. If you know,
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: you know. If you don't know, you don't know. But
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: he came as a child, went through all those things.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: You take what the enemy meant for evil and.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: You turn it for good.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: You turn it for good.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: That's your testimony.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: You take what the enemy meant for evil and you
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: turn it for good.
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: You turn it for good.
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: Let me tell you this.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: There are two reasons why I respect people.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: One, Because of their crowns, it's a testament of diligence, endurance, discipline,
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: adherence to principles. But the second reason why I respect
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: them is because of their scars. When you are learning
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: from great people, don't just learn from the crowns alone.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Learn from the scars. There is a lesson only the
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: scars can teach. The crown cannot teach it.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: So when you look at Jesus, your eyes should not
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: just go to his head alone. Make sure you look
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: at his hands too. There is a reason why even
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: though he's in heaven glorified, the scar would not heal.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: The scar will remain there. It's a testament. No one
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: has it like him.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: There are Matthias in heaven, but not the one who
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: was crucified for the sin of anyone.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Is someone listening now? Let me tell you this.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: Many things you are ashamed of today will be the
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: reason why men will respect you tomorrow. Don't rush seasons
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: in your life. Don't rush seasons. God gives speed, but
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: he does not rush men. You went through a season,
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: no school fees. You went through a season, no house rent.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: In fact, let me tell you this. One of the
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: ways God raises saviors is to allow them taste of
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: the things they would deliver people from. That way you
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: will have compassion. God wants to raise you as a
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: kingdom financier. I'm telling you, you will go through seasons
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: where you will do everything right and yet the heavens
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: will be closed financially. You will taste what it means
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: to be at the rock bottom. When you rise there,
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: that memory will be etched. It will become an anchor
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: that sponsors compassion. Compassion can be theoretical. It's from your pain.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: You say, I've been there before. I know what it means.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: Are we together now? Apostle, so are you saying that
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: everything I've gone through, I lost my father last year.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: I lost my father this year. It may not have
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: been the will of God, but God can still use
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: it and birth his glory.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Nothing in the life of a believer is a waste.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: If you can hand it over, put it in your
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: alabaster box. Don't just put the perfume, put the pain too.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: Put everything there and break it before him. Are we
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: together now? When you are serving the alabaster box, don't
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: just carry your incense. No, no, carry everything. The pain,
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: the tears. The woman worshiped with her tears. She worshiped
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: with her hair. She worshiped with her past. She worshiped
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: with her pain. She worshiped with her wealth. That's what
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: made it through worship. the ministry of men our time
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: is up please give me five minutes can you give
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: me five minutes hallelujah borrow me five minutes i'll pay
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: back tomorrow please sit please sit please sit now generally
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: speaking we're still talking about the ministry of men men
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: will minister to you at three levels let me teach
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: you this before we pray Men will minister to you
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: at three levels. Number one, there will be men.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Who are above you.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Coaches, mentors, endorsers. There will always be men who are
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: above you. The ministry of men who are above you.
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: In receiving help now, they come as coaches, they come
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: as mentors. Are we together? They come as endorsers, men
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: of influence. Number two, men who are at your level.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: They will come as allies. They will come as friends.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: They will come as encouragers. They will come as contemporaries.
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: And then men who are below you. They will come
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: as aides. They will come as ordinary men. They will
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: come as critics. All of them together create the formation
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: for your receiving help from men. So help comes from
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: men at three levels. Let me repeat that again. Men
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: who are above you. your coaches, your mentors, your endorsers.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: There is a way to relate with them. There are
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: men who are your contemporaries, your allies, your friends. There
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: is a way to relate with them. Are we together?
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: There are those who are below you. There are aides
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: who help you. There is a way to relate with them.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: The way you relate with Pharaoh is not the way
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: you relate with the slave girl. The way you relate
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: with Jonathan, are we together? You need to know how
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: to relate with these people at the various levels. It's
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: very important.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Number four.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: The fourth way God helps men. Are you ready?
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: The prophetic.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: Now the prophetic is through the ministry of men too.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: But I isolated it differently. And I'll take time to
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: still teach on these things tomorrow and share some more.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: Hosea 12 and verse 13.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: The Bible says, and by a prophet the Lord brought
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: Israel out of Egypt.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: And by a prophet... He was established. The prophetic.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: The prophetic as a ministry is one of God's system.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: The Bible says we see not our signs. There is
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: no prophet. There is none that knoweth how long. When
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: God wants to send help, especially help as empowerment and
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: help as deliverance, he will often use the prophetic.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: It's very, very important. Let me give you number five.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: And we'll just stay here and then we'll come back.
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: The fifth way God helps.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Men is through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. The
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: helper himself.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: And this, we can spend all night discussing the Holy Spirit.
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: But let me give you just two scriptures. Psalm 18
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: and verse 29. God can help men to advance in life.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: He says, for by you, I can run through a
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: troop And by my God, I have leaped over a wall.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: There's no man who can run through a troop. Ladies
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: and gentlemen, a troop represents the size of people in
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: this place.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: The difference is that they are all armed.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Well armed. Some with chariots and horses and weapons of war.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Veterans of war. What is the possibility of me beating
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: everybody here? Even if you just lie down and I'm
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: to beat you, I'll still be tired. Are we together now?
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: And he says by you I can run through a troop.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: And then by my God I can leap over a wall.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: It's a metaphor to describe the extent of victory.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: That it does not matter how things are. You will
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: still fish your way out. And it's by the help
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: of God.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: Your pastor today is a testament of the help of God.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: The transforming church is a testament of the help of God.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: This man who stands before you is a product of
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: God's mercy and help. Every man you have seen who
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: has risen in righteousness and in truth, it is by
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: the agency of God's help. Ladies and gentlemen, I believe
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: that God placed this burden in the heart of.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Reverend Sam for your sake, for our sakes.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: Because you are stepping into a season where the reality
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: that is befalling the world will necessitate your understanding of
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: the help of God. This is the year when if
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: you understand this teaching, there will be a clear distinction,
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: a clear demarcation between those who serve God and those
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: who have true spiritual intelligence.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: Known how to access the help.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: We'll take it from here tomorrow and then I will
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: show you how to provoke help. There are keys. Help
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: does not just come, it is sent.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Are we together now?
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: Can we spend one minute to pray in the spirit
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: and then we'll wrap up. Hold hands with someone and
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: begin to give God thanks if you got anything from
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: this teaching tonight. Helped by God. Helped by God. Marvelously
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: helped by God. Someone pray and thank him. Because you
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: are stepping into a season where it will not be
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: you alone.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: The helper is coming your way. Showing you mercy. Showing
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: you help. Sopran.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: A troop By my God, I leap over a wall.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: Supernatural possibilities by the help of God. Having obtained help
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: from the Lord, I continue this day. In Jesus' name
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: we pray. In Jesus' name we pray. Just one prayer
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: point for tonight. Father, by your mercy, send me help speedily.
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: By your mercy, send me help speedily. Hold someone's hand
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: and pray passionately. Pray seriously. Send me help speedily. Send
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: me help, oh God. Send me help, oh God. I
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: am incapacitated. Send me help, oh God. Someone go ahead
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: and pray. Cry for help. Send me help by your spirit.
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: Send me help by your spirit. Let help come as
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: divine assistance. Let help come as the strengthening in my
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: inner man so that I will not turn aside in
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: the day of battle. Let strength come.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: Let help come.
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: As the staying power, the stamina to stay, to remain
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: till I finish. Let help come as a rescue, timely deliverance,
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: deliverance from calamities, deliverance from expectations. Are you praying?
