Iran attacks, Hegseth testimony & US casualties
During his testimony before the Senate Appropriations Committee, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stated that the war with Iran has cost the U.S. approximately $37.5 billion so far. Appearing alongside Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine, Hegseth defended the administration's "peace through strength" strategy while requesting a $87.6 billion supplemental funding package to replenish critical military stockpiles and cover ongoing conflict operations.
