Congratulations to England that went in last night. Norway, yeah, two to one. Shamus: yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I'm not following it. So where are they at? Where we like where are they at? Like the whole tournament where they the group of four or Herbie: They're they're they're in the thing for like the finals and stuff like that for Argentina, France, England, and somebody else. I forget, but it was they beat like the the you know the Viking team, which was actually for me was like the the sleeper favorite. Yeah, England came back two to one. Shamus: Hey, he mentioned it in his episode. Yeah. He's Yeah, I don't want my family from England coming over here because they if they get that far they're gonna tear my house up. So Yeah, but I guess it's a good thing you need lumps. Herbie: yeah, my well my boys o over in UK are are happy about it too, man, which is cool 'cause I they weren't really too you know, optimistic about the outcome but you know, beforehand. But now that they won it's that I'm not sure. Shamus: When's the when's the final game? There's only about a week or two left, right? Yeah. Herbie: Yeah, 'cause there's only like four there's only four teams left. Shamus: All right. Now I gotta keep some promises. I'm a member of the VFW Post 3020 in Dalran. I'm also a lifetime member, so I can go anywhere. every post VFW wise does great things. if you're listening to this and you're a member of another post, drop me a line, head our email. I'll drop that later and let me know what you guys are doing, and I'll do the same for you. just a reminder, our creative writing group class at the VFW in Dalran. Is not this Monday. Well, it's not today if you're listening. It's next Monday. It's free for everybody. You don't have to be a veteran. And it's hosted by Miss Vanessa of the Village Works. What we do is we share, you know, thoughts and stories. she tries to help us to improve our writing skills. She gives us feedback and encouragement and connect with others in a supportive environment. Usually what it is is because I go all every time. Yeah. because Not that I wanna write a book, but I definitely wanna write some kind of screenplay or like a script for a movie. That's cool. I got a yeah, I got a couple. not the pork roll movie. Herbie: Well maybe we could do like a poor girl movie like during the zombie apocalypse or something, you know what I mean? Yeah, actually yeah, do it. Shamus: So I probably should write that movie. But she'll give us like she'll randomly just pull something out and she'd be like, All right, either here's fifteen minutes or twenty minutes, you know, write me something about this subject or how you're feeling. It's usually like emotionally based or, you know, just I don't know. and then we write and then like we all kind of stand up, we read it and then people kinda not critique. It's not one of those things, but you know, kinda give thoughts and opinions and all that so it's actually pretty cool. Yeah so if you get a chance, not this Monday, not today if you're listening to this on Monday. on the twentieth of July, that Monday we'll be there at six o'clock. So it's a free creative writing class. What else do they got going on? They got all kinds of stuff going on. On the eighteenth of July they got the Hoagie sale. No pre-orders needed and pickup is at 10 AM price is seven dollars and they're offering turkey and cheese, ham and cheese. Herbie: Yeah. I like a hoggy. Shamus: And Italian and cheese. Someone said they're using new rolls and they're putting more meat on the sandwiches. so go get yourself a hoagie. On the 14th, they're doing a school supply drive right now, which ends on August 14th. They're collecting notebooks, pens, pencils, paper, glue, crayons, backpacks, scissors, anything you think kids need for the upcoming school year. If you have anything laying around extra, or if you just feel the need to Herbie: Yeah. Shamus: Help out a good cause, just pick up some extra stuff and drop it off at the VFW in Delrain. On the sixteenth, I don't know I guess it did away with the ladies part of auxiliary. I think now it's just called auxiliary 'cause Ben can join. So the auxiliary is throwing a community day there on August sixteenth from one PM to four PM. It's free for everyone. They have live music, bounce house, face painting, games, hot dogs, and nacho bar, which I might go check out. So and it's it's like I said, they said it's free for everybody, so bring your family and friends. And then right now they're selling tickets for a 50-50 drawing that are ten bucks a piece, and they're currently on sale until they sell out or the twenty second. They're only selling a thousand tickets. So Make sure you get down there and get one of those if you're interested in that. And the drawing is on August twenty second at three PM. So those and of course every Friday night at the VFW in Delran is the pizza night. And I don't know if they have live music coming up. I didn't see that part. Nobody mentioned it to me, but apparently the pizza is Yeah. Yeah, it's bringing in the people. But I I saw some pictures on Facebook and I was like, God damn, I've never seen a VFW that packed. Herbie: thing man vt vfws are holding it down dude with like pig roast parties and stuff like that so even if you're not really a member maybe for people to look into stuff if you're looking to get involved with stuff get into check out your local vfw man it'd be cool Shamus: Yeah, the commander Bill's doing a great job. And of course, my lady friend Colleen, who we try to have on the show, to talk about the VFW, but she's a little mic shy. Herbie: Come on, Colleen. Come on, Colleen. Shamus: She's an amazing person too, and they're doing great stuff down there. So shout out to the VFW post-3020 in Duran. Another shout out is to the township of Medford. yeah. Which was named a number one town to live in, work, and play in in 2026 by South Jersey magazine. That's where I live. honestly I do like the town. I don't know if they're taking into account the condition of the roads out here. Herbie: Yeah. Shamus: Because the roads in this town absolutely suck. according to my neighbor who's lived here since our development was built in sixty seven. Yeah. That is the original road from nineteen sixty seven. Nice. And it shows on the way out. Herbie: Yeah. Shamus: I've lost my dog. I I used to walk my dog and every once in while I'm like, where the hell are you going? you see like this leash down in this giant ass pothole. I'm like, golly. Herbie: You gotta rappel down there to retrieve your dog. Shamus: Yeah, but apparently Medford's the place to be in South Jersey. So big shout out to Medford, the police department, their first responders, the mayor, the administrators, everybody but the road crew. Yeah. So Yeah, what's that? Happy Place up on Stokes Road. I was in the gym the other day and I looked and had the big screen going on and in the morning you say play the news and Action Six News was there doing a review of the place. And apparently it's like the number one donut place in New Jersey or South. Herbie: And the donut guy. Jersey or something. It's actually I think from what I understand, it's like the number two place in America. Shamus: Yeah. And they just opened that like I I don't think it's been open a year. Yeah. Herbie: Good yay. It's awesome. And I just found out there's a couple of Spanish places around here too, so her be happy. Shamus: Yeah, I'll tell you what that is one thing about Medford. The roads might suck. But when it comes to food, there is you have options galore out here, man. there's so many sushi places, Italian restaurants, Mexican restaurants, Mediterranean you name it. It's out Indian food. Like it's like it's amazing I'm not 300. Herbie: Except on no hot goat milk in a in a silver bowl in the middle of a desert. Shamus: I I ain't doing that again. Nope. I said I was telling you before the show, my military buddy called me and he was like, dude, I'm listening at my at my desk at work. Yeah. And as soon as you said it, I was like, Cause he was one of the guys with me. He was like, dude, I instantly went back like twenty-something years and I was like, and I could taste it. It was just like he was like, it seemed like my office got hotter too. Like I was transported back to that point. And he was like, I almost puked all over my desk, bro. Herbie: Did he drink it too? yeah, so yeah. that's right. Yeah. Friend, friend. Shamus: It's a sign of disrespect if you turn down any gift given. Herbie: Jesus Christ. Mm-hmm. And it was like just to think about it, what if that silver bowl was like, you know, like the chamber pot and stuff like that for I mean like did he bust out any other pots? It was just like that one pot. Shamus: Anymore. It was the weirdest shit I've ever been a part of, man. That dude was just like flint, flann, and he had like one of those man-bag Indiana Jones thing and he just whipped it out like it was like a gun. Like he was like, and like spun in his hand. He was like, and he just stopped and he was like, I get too. And he just started milking his goat. Herbie: Yeah, so you didn't like what is he you didn't hear any rattling in there, man. It was like the only one pot, dude. It was just like like in the third Shamus: I said man, like and as soon as he started doing it, like I just put my head down and my buddy was just like, what the hell is he doing? And I was like, He's about to fuck our ass. Herbie: He's technically gonna kill our souls right now. We can't say no. Shamus: So yeah, so shout out to Metford, shout out to the VFW Post thirty twenty Delran. Make sure you guys get on their website and see where their Instagram page and stuff, see what they're doing. all our sponsors obviously. And one more shout out to all the fellas I got to see this weekend. at Lieutenant Rob's retirement and Chief Grilly, their retirement. it was a good time. It was good to see some of those guys. Yeah. I'm kinda on the fence about how how things were played out and all that stuff. Herbie: Slowed down a bit, how it wasn't like the crazy wild Motley Cru video type stuff. Shamus: Yeah, I just kinda like, man, this is some sh Yeah. Well not that it tame it's just I don't know. It's like I said, both were done well. Yeah. Like I don't want to kick any of his back in something like that. It's just not how like my retirement was like Well Herbie: Yeah. Freaking Van Wilder party and stuff. Shamus: It's like I said, it didn't help that I think April one of twenty twenty three the state was just like okay, everybody can smoke weed legally and then my party was April fifteenth. Herbie: It smelled like high cypress concert in here. Shamus: And fucking at that point the the governor and shit never told law enforcement like 'cause you can't tell them they can't smoke. I guess you just can't do it before work 'cause they actually when I was getting ready to leave, they were putting signs in the park like you can't smoke here. Yeah. Because guys were getting fucking tore up in the parking lot. Yeah, like before they were going in. Herbie: Tailgate me the job. Jesus Christ. Shamus: you know, when you're at your party and you're like, holy shit, man, there's like 90 to 100 people here. And halfway through you look around, you're like, okay, there's only 70 people. Where the hell is all these other people at? And two Voorhees police officers walk in and just like, Is this your retirement? And I'm Yeah. And they're Are those your people out in the parking lot? I'm like, what are you talking about? He's like, dude, it's like a Cypress Hill concert out there. Yeah. He's like, you got like 40 dudes out there just smoking weed, blocking traffic. I walked out there. They're at they were like all this one big circle and they were all just standing in like the the fire lane shit and they were all just smoking and drinking and I was just like I'll talk to them dude and of course they're all cops whether they were you know troopers or fucking prosecutors office, sheriff's department corrections, they were just kind of like I was like, you didn't tell them to move the cops like I did, but they told me to go fuck myself. I was like, well, you know how these boys get he like, yeah, I was at one of these last week. We told those cops to go. Herbie: Yeah. Shamus: I was like, I'll talk to them. So when they left, I was like, I'm going back in. God bless. I still haven't done the weed thing. I I did it once after I retired. And my buddy Kevin was witness to it. I did some real dumb shit. It was like 9,000 degrees that day. And we were outside all day doing our fantasy football draft under his tent. Yeah. I was drinking water, but I didn't drink alcohol until everybody left. It was here. It was right in my backyard. And Soon as everybody left, I was like, okay, because I'm the commissioner. Yeah. I was like, once everybody's gone, all right, I'll have a white claw. So I drank a white claw and then I drank another one. And I slammed like three of them like 15 minutes. Yeah. And then my boy was just like, All right, man, you know, I came up from South Carolina to smoke wheat with you since you retired. You want to smoke? I like, Yeah, let me see. And I just grabbed it and we just like and man, it was like five minutes later. I was like, he was throwing up everywhere. I passed out, like I just died. Herbie: Yeah. Shamus: Well, he was just, you know, with the heat, like I just I probably was dehydrated and then I sucked down three white claws like a fucking frat house cheerleader And then just, yeah, let me just hit this joint. Like I've been doing it for thirty years and I've never done it before. So Yeah. So that was And next morning I woke up, I looked up, I was like, Yeah, that's one and done, bro. I'm I'm good. But I yeah, my retirement my retirement party was a little bit different than theirs. Herbie: Yeah, where'd it with our cheat? Shamus: I just I don't know. I I think I'm just gonna take a step back. I if you're gonna retire in the next couple of years, I'm sorry. I just don't think I can be a part of this anymore. Herbie: well sometimes it makes sense 'cause, you there's gonna be like a bunch of new faces. You might not know anybody there, dude. So it's like Shamus: Well, that's a big part too. There was a bunch of people there I didn't know. the the guys that I didn't know were still kinda talking about work. Yeah. So like I have no idea what's going on there anymore. I haven't been there in three years and honestly I really don't give a fuck. Yeah. Like as long as you're okay and they're not getting hurt, that's fine. Like I don't give a shit about the politics. I didn't give a shit about the politics when I was there. Yeah. I was just I was the fuck you man. Like I would just walk in and people like the what you have to stop at a scanner in order to get in sometimes. Yeah. Well, all the time. Herbie: Yeah. Shamus: And the one time there was this kid just standing there and I just bl I I had the they call it resting with night face. Yeah. And I just come walking by and he got up from his desk and I was like, Don't get up. And just kept walking and walked right into the gym. So this lieutenant was just like, Hey, did you just let him walk in? He goes, Were you gonna stop him? And he was like, No. I mean So like I never really cared. and it's like I said, it's just kind of I don't know, I guess it's not on my crowd anymore. I didn't get a chance to I didn't get a chance to talk to either guy because there were so many other people there and stuff. and there was other people I wanted to talk to, like the John Kuzak chick, I'm the pretty little princess. She was there. And of course, she always texts me every once in a while. I just listened to that episode again. That's hysterical. But like I didn't get a chance to talk to her because there were so many other people around. the way the seating arrangements were. It was almost like being at a wedding the other day, and I like, what the Herbie: That's cool. Sometimes like the loud music kinda drowns everything out too. Shamus: yeah, the first party the de like I had to leave, my head was pounding. the second one, I was just kinda like It was good to see him. Congratulations. yeah. So I don't know. I might I might be stepping out of these retirement parties now. Herbie: You know, so like I said, you know, like can't be like a Cypress Hill concert for yours, you know, that you had. Shamus: No, it was just it's my my question is and it has nothing it's not just a retirement party thing. What happened to men? What happened to men being men like I'm not saying you have to go down to burn the town down, but what are we doing? Herbie: I don't know. I guess they label toxic masculinity and then everyone's just like, let me step back before I get in trouble. I don't know. I mean, but don't get me wrong, there's like plenty of assholes out there, I get it, but like regular dudes just have a good time just trying to turn it up. It's like, you know, like a boys night out. You know what I mean? That's Shamus: That's that young guy shit. here's a prime example of what I thought was it could have been done a little bit better. The retirement party I went to on Saturday, there was a golfing part. Like it was at a golf like a country club. So a bunch of dudes went out in the morning and golfed. I but they also let you, if you don't golf, you could pay $40 to just come to the luncheon part that was supposed to start at 1 30. Yeah. it was an hour from here. I got my car, I drove up there, got there at like Herbie: Yeah, I c I'm out. Can't do it. Shamus: 135, there is nobody around. Like there's a bar attached to it, like for all the members and stuff. So like I sat at the bar, I'm like, hey, let get an old fashioned. And then next thing I know, two other people finally came in that I knew. Yeah. And I was like, hey guys, I know da-da-da. And they were just like, This thing starts start at 130. I was like, I have no idea. Next thing I know, dude's parents walk in with his wife, and they're like, Where is everybody? I have no idea. So I Pick up my phone, text him, I'm like, Hey, your parents are here, you're sitting here your wife. What's going We got held up. and he was the first one, 'cause like tea times they alternate, like every fifteen minutes. So he was the first one to go that morning and he was already on eighteen. Yeah. Which is on the far side of the country club. So I was just like, All right. So from about two o'clock, two fifteen on, they slowly started to trickle in. Yeah. And it was such a long day for some of them that they were just like, hey, I'm just gonna have a beer and leave. Yeah, they're out in this. And so I'm sitting at the bar talking to the old heads, guys that were my mentor, guys who were my partners, guys I haven't seen in a while, which was great. That was a great part of it. Herbie: Didn't last too long though. Shamus: No, because they were like, all I'm getting a beer and I'm getting out of here. It was good to see you. Give me and everybody always says this and I can't stand it. Hey man, we need to get together. Give me a call. We'll get some beers. And nobody ever does that shit. so it was great seeing all them, but by the time I got done talking to cause this guy would leave, another guy would trickle in. Cause their team just got done. Yeah. Got done talking to them. by the time I slid inside, you had to order food. There was like a menu selection thing there. And They already took the orders by the time I walked in. So, and not that I was gonna eat anyway, I never eat these things. Yeah. That always fucks my buzz up. So I just by the time I sat down and everything, it was just like, all right, everybody, thanks for coming. Yeah, he gave his speech and all. And then like nine other people stood up and said something. And I was waiting for the bus boy to come out and congratulate. Like, I was just like, is everybody talking at this thing? Like, what the hell's coming? And then they were like, All right, man, thanks. Everybody coming out. And I was like, Man, this is I mean, it was good to see everybody, don't get me wrong. And the guy who put it together, it was a really nice venue, it was everything. It just kind of I like, Man, I drove an hour for this shit. Herbie: Well, you want to have a big old banger. Dang. Especially if you're sucking down some old fashions, man. You're ready to you know, I would have been there with you and just did like a little jousting tournament with those freaking golf carts. I still want to do that. Jousting tournament with golf carts. Shamus: But I was like, okay. Does anybody want to go get a beer after this? Or you know, maybe closer to home? Or they're like, Meh, I was golfing, it was humidity today, you know. Yeah. Motherfuckers. I was so fucking disappointed. I mean, it's like I said, it was a great time, great venue, great job by the guy who put it together. I don't know his first name, I don't want to put his last name out there. he was just starting his career when I was leaving. like I said, it was great to see, you know, Girley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Girley, his wife, Heather, him, you know, but I didn't get a chance to talk to really talk to anybody. So Herbie: Sometimes that happens too, dude. Like you really you could you could literally look at the people across the room, you're like, I didn't even get a chance to talk to you guys. Shamus: Well the my pretty princess, the John Kuzak officer, she came up to me and she was like, Why is it that every time we're at these things we never get a chance to talk? Yeah. And I was like, I have no idea. 'Cause we you just get caught in different sections of the room or talking to different people. So I don't know. It's like I said, I say I'm pretty much done with retirement parties. 'Cause I was just kinda like, man, these are getting Herbie: Well, I mean it's still always time for party like with the you know, especially with the summer times, man, it's still like you know time for parties. You know? We're still doing that stuff. granted, don't get me wrong, there are times people I'm ready to go to bed like at eight o'clock or something, but you know, if you're in the if you're in the sun all damn day, I can understand that maybe you'd be like, All right, look, man, I'm I'm ready to just crash. But if you're at a pool party and you cool down and say Shamus: If wanna golf, do that shit on your own time. I'm not here to golf with you. I'm here to say goodbye, have a couple beers, talk about the you know, like that song glory days from Bruce Briggs. They sit around bullshit, talk about some old war stories and stuff. Yeah, yeah. And then we'll tell each other lies like he's moving to South Carolina. Like hey man, you gotta come down and see. yeah, no doubt. I'll be in town. I'll come say, man, I ain't come on, man. Yeah. I missed out on all that shit. Well, I dropped a glass. Herbie: Shit on the Shamus: I was I was whispering some shit 'cause we were some of the boys get together, we'd just start busting chops and da da da and he turned around real quick to see what was going on and he because the way we were sitting, I was kind of not behind him but off to his left. Yeah. And when he turned he hit my Herbie: Old fashion. it's a shame man. It's a good sacrifice, but Shamus: It was loud too, like that glass hit the floor is like Everybody looked out, was like, I just pointed at him. I was like Herbie: He done Gave it the you know Ryu like elbow bash. Shamus: but yeah, it's like I said, it was good to see some of those guys. I just kind of not disappointed, but I was just kind of like, man, what happened then? Herbie: Well you still like to you know, I understand what you're talking about, man. It's like it there's there's still a lot of people that like to do some crazy stuff, you know. Well yeah, I'm not I'm not I'm not I'm not a golf guy, so you don't never have to worry about that with me. I'm still like buying stupid Shamus: Golf, do that shit on your own time. I said we don't have to go out and go to a strip joint or any of that shit, but let's just go somewhere and you know, d drink some liquor and some beer, tell some lines. Yeah. That kind of shit. Reminisce. Herbie: Set some shit on fire. Maybe somebody gets to the ER about two o'clock in the morning 'cause they cut their hand open with a Roman sword. Something like that. Shamus: And then everybody, you know, because the state sucks with their taxes and all the expenses. I everybody as soon as they retired are leaving. Yeah. So it it's just kinda sad. So yeah, I think I'm gonna take a vaccine on retirement. And weddings too, because that's always like a three, four, five hundred hour day. Sometimes a thousand, depending on who's getting married, like the stuff you put in the cars. And then five ten years later they're getting divorced. Like nobody stays together anymore. Herbie: Yeah. Some weddings are bangers though, man. Shamus: They are but I just tell people now I'm just like, Yeah, just invite me to the divorce because they do have divorce parties. Like every girl's like Herbie: Well that's Shamus: That's another thing. Baby showers now. Yeah. Dudes go to baby. Well when the when the guys start going to baby shower. Herbie: Yeah. Well we did we like years ago we made that we crashed that one 'cause it was at Shamus: No no no I'm talking like I think my n one of my nephews like she would say you have to be here. Herbie: Really? I'm like why? Like security or something like that? To bring in the beer? No. Carry the ice. No. Cater the food. I don't Shamus: No. I don't know what's going on with society, man. I really don't. I don't know what happened to men. I don't know what maybe it's me. Maybe I was just I don't do a little rough around the edges or something, but this shit is getting ridiculous. Herbie: Well I know there are there are some parties where it's like it's Shamus: And like I tell people when they're getting married and it's usually girls I've dated, hey I'm getting married. I'll say, all right, invite me to the divorce party. Not that I wish divorce, but if you ever get divorced, because those seem to be better than the wedding part. So Herbie: You ever been to like a like a wedding that you were the girl that you were with before and you're at that one table with other dudes? You ever think like these this table is the dudes at that she banged before? You know what I mean? There's almost like I've been to weddings before too, man, where I'm at a table, you know, and I'm I'm friends with with with the person and they got married and everything. And next thing you know, it's it's almost like I'm here with the like just a table of dudes. I'm like, how are they friends? You know what I mean? Maybe, maybe. This could have been like the dudes that she hooked up with before, because I I know that we hooked up, so maybe I'm with the the ex the exes table that were still like cool and like part of like the Shamus: I think I've ever been to an ex's wedding. Everybody's al it's either been work people, military people, my fat like my nephews. Herbie: really like I well technically for me it's not really ex like an ex girlfriend but like you know like a a friend that you know is it like a hook like a hook of I've ever You know like at that table with a bunch of dudes you're like so how do you know her and everyone's like he Shamus: Hook up, I got you. And most of the time I if it's family I do, but like if I'm at another wedding or something, I'm usually worried about the the girls in the wedding party. Herbie: yeah, dude. yeah. yeah. Bridesmaids. Yep. Yeah, 'cause I've I've been a b I've been a best man of weddings. Yeah. Especially in them parking lots, man. Depends the venue. Shamus: Yeah. Bro, you're doing it in a park a lot. Herbie: Wait, but where else are you gonna go, man? Half the time it's like But where where, dude? You gotta I ain't got time for Google map. I you gotta sit there. You know, you're going to like a distant location that you'd never been to, like some country club or some crap. Shamus: Usually get a hotel or something. That's why I usually get a hotel room. I get a hotel room so that way Herbie: I don't really go into detail. I pretty much like put the money in the envelope, make sure there's a cocktail hour which is successful, then I prescope the bridesmaid squad, then I go to the party, then I rock out, and then if things happen, to lo and behold, it's parking lot time. I'm not gonna be like, you know, you know, putting out the logistics and stuff like that. Because a lot of times, like with those weddings, like, yeah, I don't stay over. Shamus: Mm. Herbie: You know, there's some that are kind of far away venues and stuff like that, but For me it wasn't, I was like, all right, go Shamus: Because even I'm gonna I'm gonna give every I'm gonna give you a tip and every other dude out there a tip. Even if it's at say like a really nice place, right, and the hotel's gigantic that everybody, I want you guys to stay here because we're gonna run a shuttle and stuff like that. You always go and get a room because usually that weekend at that hotel, there's another wedding party, like there's whole different wedding setting. So like you could be sitting at the bar at like two o'clock in the morning and some chick from a different wedding party comes down or bridesmaid, you know, like whatever they call like and they come down and like wedding. I'm like, Yeah, you? Yeah. And the next thing you know, you're I don't even know where I'm at. Where's my room? Herbie: Well yeah. What was it? What is it? The the one in Merlton, hot Hotel ML. Like my buddy, I was in his wedding, and I guess like the we all stayed at that hotel after the wedding and stuff. And that was a great wedding too. It was my buddy Tyler. And yeah, there was another wedding party there. And I I scoped that area and it was like, But I I was talking to this you know, the girl and I was like, hey, I'm at this wedding party, you should come on up. So that was cool. And then, you know, of course like the my friend that I invited to this wedding party, the the other wedding party like trying to talk to her. I like, Bro, back up. She's here to hang with me. Shamus: I it's funny, I just thought of this. I've I went it wasn't an ex's wedding, but I went with an ex, a girl I dated years ago. she ended up getting divorced and we kind of I ran into her somewhere and she was like, Hey, I need a date. Like my husband will go, like we're getting divorced and you wanna go? And I was like, sure. I said, Where's it at? She's New Hope over in PA. Yeah. So I was like, okay. I said, Are they doing hotel rooms or whatever? And she's like, Yeah, but I think they're all sold out. And I was just like, Give me the give me the information. So they were sold out, but they did have a suite. And I was like, I'll take it. So we go to the wedding afterwards. I guess I was just kinda like, Hey, tell some of your friends like a bit man, shit. I never spent a second in that well, well, I I did because I know she said that we but I woke up poolside the next morning. Like the clean up the cleanup people were just like, yo I had one sock on, I had my suit pants on, but on the other foot that didn't have a sock, I had my shoe on. I had my tie like around my head. I was wearing sucklass. And my dress shirt was like half ripped open. There was a sleeve missing. And like I was just like Herbie: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you didn't get your d you didn't get your suit deposit back. Shamus: My buddy was just dude was like, yo, I don't know what happened. Were you raped last night? Like I don't even know where I'm at. I was like, where the where am I? And he was like, you're at the hotel. He was like, apparently you guys had a raging party up on, you know, the top floor at your suite. And I was just like, holy shit, man. When I went up there, the room was fine. Yeah. But and I was like, what the hell happened? And she was just like, I don't know. Who the fuck is Mike Honcho? I'm like, who? Herbie: Yeah. Okay. Shamus: She was like, You were telling everybody you were hey, what's up, man? My name's Mike Honcho. At one point, like you were up on top of the goddamn lifeguard stand, like woo like with a rally town and shit. Like the whole place, like all these people were just I guess hotel management was kind of worried that people would be upset because, you know, we were out there told apparently we had everybody out there. Like you were just kind of like Mike Honcho. Come to find out in that movie Talladega Nights. Yeah. Herbie: Everybody was partying. Shamus: Where Will Farrell's in the coma and he was like, I just wanna let you know, like I did Playboy back and I spread my butt in and you know, I used my name Mike Honcho as the You were telling everybody your name was Mike Honcho. I was like, Who the fuck is Mike Honcho? But yeah, that was a good time, man. I had well, I didn't rent the suit. I wasn't in the wedding party, but that yeah, that suit got Yeah, that shit got worn out quick. Herbie: Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, man. There's no tiger in the bathroom or nothing like that. Shamus: No, no. But apparently I was talking. I was we were walking out. I some days I got a shower real quick and we were walking out. I was so hungover, dude. I was walking out, like the staff's just like hey, what's going on, Mike? People like other people that stayed in the hotel at the wedding and all that stuff was like, Hey Mike, what's going on? Herbie: Give me. There's Mike Honcho. Shamus: Just put me in a car. I gotta go. So but apparently I had a really good time. But like, yeah, weddings even nowadays are just kinda Herbie: I remember like I I don't know if you were there 'cause like back in the day I I had a mock bachelor party. And this was like with Big Bob and all them. Was that it was actually at the planet. yeah, that was that was that was a that was a mock bachelor party, dude. Wasn't even getting married, but of course, you did like the whole thing where we got the strippers it was at, you know, the planet. Partied up. We had the strippers and everything. yeah, that was just yeah, that was that just wound up me being like completely practically butt naked. Shamus: Now We another thing I don't understand about weddings nowadays, and my grandfather before he died, went to Dylan's wedding, my nephew Dylan. gorgeous venue. Yeah. and I know people nowadays, like, I want it to be the perfect day. Yeah. And blah, blah, blah. When we walked in, there was it was like cocktail hour, but it was also like there was a cheeseburger station, a soft pretzel station. Like there, there was like 20 different like a taco station, a brick, like This was before you went in for like the hall, the main and my grandfather was just like, What the f what is this? And I was like, What do you mean? He's like, There's more food out here than there'll probably be inside. Like, what is going on? Why what happened? There was like a cotton candy machine there and shit for kids, hot dogs, and I was just like I I have no idea, dude. He was like, This shit got so commercial and ridiculous. Yeah. He was like, When you go to a wedding, the the women used to go to like you know, the powder room first and they got and then the men went to cocktail hours out at the party, like some of the women did too. And he was like, What the fuck is all this? Herbie: It's like part carnival and part. Shamus: And that's what he said. He was like, there was, you know, and then when we went in, they did like that old rustic feel kind of deal. Yeah. So and it was nice. It was very nice. but he was just kind of like, Man, this is a total waste of money. Like who the who And I I totally get what he's saying, man. Like the one wedding I think my nephew went to, there was a robot that came out and danced. another guy, like they did like the photo booth thing where people can go into a photo booth and all that shit. And I'm just like No, whatever happened to like, hey, we're getting married, da da da, here's some drinks, some food, everybody party and dance and talk and da da da and So I don't want to be standing in line for a goddamn photo machine or, you know, some robot coming around or Herbie: that'd be cool with the rubber. I mean I've I've been to those weddings like that too, but like so far, like like my recent weddings that I've been to, because I've actually officiated a couple too. But you know, it was a lot of fun. Did you ordain? Yeah. I didn't know that. Yeah, actually, I actually did two. Like I did I did two so far. No shit. Yeah, actually a friend of mine from work, I got I married her and her husband, and my buddy that I went to high school with, we share the same birthday. So I introduced him to my friend at work and she was recently divorced and she was like, you know, she was just like going through some things where she was just like, you know, just it was just a it was a bad breakup. So she was like going through a lot of problems and just, you know, she wanted to be able to go out and say, like she knew how fun I was. So she's like, Herbie, just I just wanna go out and just like forget about stuff. So I invited her to couple of parties and, you know, would hang out with her and stuff and brought her just brought her around to show her like a good time to be to get you know, get her mind off of things. And then she met my buddy Dan. And did they, you know They got together and it was a Memorial Day party. And it was at my house. And after they started dating, Dan came back. He was like, yo. When I asked Joanne to marry me, she's like, You gotta do another Memorial Day party. So we had another Memorial Day party, and that's where he asked her, you know, to marry him. Nice. And then they they asked me, like, dude, you gotta, you know, we want you to marry us. I was like, all right, cool. And it was just like it's easy to do, but it was, you know, to like to get ordained and stuff like that. Yeah, it's easy to do. But yeah, it was it was I like there's a lot of things I've been in at like weddings and stuff like that. So yeah, I did two weddings, it was cool. And you know, I've been the best man in a couple of them. been part of the you the the group. rooms and all that stuff or or the the chaperones and all that crap. You know, so if I for me, for that perspective, I've had a lot of fun because I do judge the weddings by like, you know, the hap the cocktail hour and stuff like that. There have been times I go like just tear up all the seafood at the cocktail hour. And you know, the little like the bacon wrap shrimp and all that stuff. Cause I love that shit. And then by the time you get to dinner, you could barely finish it. Cause I'm just like, how much time left is on the on the clock for the cocktail hour? And I'm like Shamus: I'll tell you what, man, one of the greatest weddings I've been to, again I this never happened again in my life, was my buddy Mark and Kristen. They got married, and we were sitting there when dinner was done and all that stuff. Cause they had a cocktail, but I never eat it. There was I always drink my cocktail, whatever. He came around with a cart to each table and they were just like, anybody want seconds? I was like, What? You guys want seconds? They paid for seconds, and I was like. Herbie: That's cool. Shamus: Get the fuck out. That is the coolest thing ever. I was like, yes. yeah. Look a brother. And you didn't have like if you ordered the chicken. Yeah. The guy was like, You don't have to get chicken again. If you want to try the fish or the steak, I was like, Wow. Yeah. That was awesome. That was a great one. Herbie: Yeah, still do stuff like that too. Well, like it kinda makes sense 'cause like how you want to spread it out because I think the way people do stuff, especially with the cotton candy machine, if you got a bunch of younger kids, you know, you're gonna have to do like the thing where like, you know, either you know, they're gonna want chicken tenors and fries or something like that. They're not gonna wanna eat the salad that they have. They're not gonna want the soup. They're not really gonna care about cocktail hour. And, you know, there's they're not gonna want either the chicken, fish or or beef, you know. So it's just like it's turns into like a little carnival type thing for everybody. But I do like they just get more creative with it. But it's I guess it just depends on what avenue you wanna go with. Shamus: Same wedding. The guy it did it was awesome the way they did it. The DJ was like, Everybody who's married, currently married, not been married, but currently married, bring your wife and couple, get on the floors. Everybody goes out to the floor. Yeah. And he's like, All right, if you've been married less than five years, take a walk, get out. So dude, they got to like thirty five years. There's two couples out there. They got to forty five years. That one couple left. So there's old two old people out there. And he was like, Forty five years, fifty years, fifty five, and you're still standing. Dude, I got up on my chair. Cause now everybody's cheering and shit. I got up on my chair, grabbed my like the white napkin and give it and I got the rally towel. I'm like, Cape Tow and dude, they were married for like sixty some years. Damn. And I was like, you'll never see that shit again. Yeah. That just doesn't like people nowadays are just like, well, we have a problem, so let's just get divorced. Herbie: Well there's more monetary b benefit from that. I mean like there are some lot of rough divorces and stuff. But you know, now it's it's almost like it's almost like a business transaction. Shamus: absolutely. But to see people married for that long. Yeah, dude, I was like that is awesome, bro. I think my brother's on that track. He's been he's gotta be 30, 35 years married. they got married young too, so I mean, but yeah, it's real rare to see that anymore. I think I was cheering for him every 'cause when he got to fifty five, he was like fifty six and they wouldn't move. Yeah. He's like fifty seven? I was like, yeah. I was like, Keep going. Herbie: That is cool. Because I think what Bob and Terry are get like getting on that's that that's another thing that's coming up, man. Shamus: They're like fifty. Yeah. They got married three months before I was born, so I'll be fifty next July. Herbie: It's gonna be another party. Shamus: Yeah, yeah. I was shocked 'cause I was talking to her at the the Fourth of July, extravaganza spectacular up the wax carrot factory. And she was like, Yeah, we're gonna have it here. And I was like, Really? She was like, God, I'd rather have it here. Yeah. This is where family is. And I was like, that's what's up. She's like, Are you coming? And I was like, I guess. Herbie: Yeah man. I'll see you there. Shamus: Bobby doesn't smell like salami, I'll come. Herbie: Yeah. That'll be after all the like yinglings and stuff, man. Shamus: But I mean that's it'll be early it'll be spring, so he won't be all sweaty. Yeah. So but yeah, I weddings and retirement parties to me nowadays are just kind of I'm like, what the f I have no idea what's going on. I just don't know what happened to men in general. Like, listen, it it probably it's not gonna happen because I'll be fifty next year, but like if I ever knocks like if me and somebody got married, I I get her pregnant or something like I'm not going to the baby shop. I'm not doing it. Yeah. I'm just not doing it. Yeah. Like I'm not gonna go totally out of control at my bachelor party or anything like that, but we're gonna do what men do at a bachelor party. Like I'm not gonna sleep on anybody or anything. It'll be like that movie Bachelor Party. Like she'll come in and I'm like, Did I sleep with anybody? Herbie: Yeah. And I'm like, no. Shamus: It's out of control, but we're good. But yeah, I just don't understand. I you know, and it's like I said, do each your own. They they both parties were great for what they wanted. they were well done. And like I said, good seeing everybody, but yeah, I think I'm gonna I'm gonna take a step back. Herbie: Well, there's some people that get a certain age and they slow down, bro. Like like for example, when you get to your 40s and stuff, man, you're gonna start growing ear hair and freaking like eyebrow hair and nose hair. I thought I had allergies at first. I don't. It was just freaking nose hair that grew out like a freaking wire brush. I was like, what the hell is this crap? You know what I mean? Like if I don't shave or nothing like that, my eyebrow I look like freaking Wolverine. Shamus: Well, it's like I said, man, I I I kinda amp myself up now 'cause like you said, we are older. So I was just kinda like, I haven't been drinking or any of that stuff. Like if I go to dinner I'll have like an old fashioned or something like that. I think that's that's it. And we've had a couple Bud Light Lines here and there. yeah. But like leading up to this weekend, I'm like, I'm gonna go see the fellas. Like I'm gonna da da da like kind of pushed it a little bit harder at the gym because I knew I was gonna be eating Herbie: Think that's What the hell that's actually what you need, dude. You've been you you need to get like just get like frickin' hammered. That's what you need. You know, hangover and stuff too, man. Shamus: I was working out a little bit more burning extra calories at the gym because I knew I was gonna eat like an animal and drink like an animal. Yeah, but it just never it was such a let in. Herbie: You didn't get to unlock the Captain Caveman, did you? Shamus: How is this gonna Well he was there? He was sitting next to me at grilly sting, but I love that dude. Shout out to my buddy Tim if you're listening. Herbie: Yeah, I wanna meet that dude, man. He sounds cool. Shamus: So, yeah, I just kind of I I got all geared up and I was like, Yeah, buddy, and I was just like, mmhhh. Like the dream died, like everything and people are like, hey man, we can't do that shit anymore. You can't do that shit anymore. Do that shit. Hell yeah. Herbie: I can no retreat. No surrender. You get ready to go into like a limp biscuit mosh pit now all sudden the song turns up like nothing you z because you're beautiful. well that's what you need, man. Well this we can do shit like that. I mean we still do shit like that, but I think you need more of it. It's like vitamin Party or something. I don't know, something Shamus: I was so mad. no doubt. For some reason, both parties were well, the one was down towards his house, the Lieutenant Rob's house. But like the the retirement thing for my other buddy was nowhere near his house. It was an hour north of here. So now you can't get really lubed up because you're gonna take an Uber because with gas prices, it's gonna cost you like a million dollars to get home, but then you gotta go back the next morning. Yeah. So I was just like, man, I drove an hour for this. So Well, like I said, it was good seeing everybody. W it was well done for what he wanted. I was just man. Herbie: Meanwhile Seamus is one Molly Cru, Mosh Pitt. Shamus: Yeah, I just don't I just don't wanna it's like I said, the minute you stop like 'cause me and the lieutenant were talking, he was like, Is this is this kinda gay? And I was like I was like a little bit but and he was just like Herbie: no, I understand we We gotta go get the early birthday. Shamus: special he was like listen he was like it's just like work the minute you stop working when you're our age well maybe not his he's a little bit older me he was like in the 60s he's like the minute i stop working it's the minute i die he's like the minute i stop partying is the minute i can't do it anymore so he was just like he's like not that i'm drinking every day during the week but you know weddings and stuff like that i'd like to and what the fuck and i was like exactly yeah what is going on what is going on Herbie: You gotta stay oiled up before you rust up, man. Yeah. Yeah, Seamus don't wanna s hang up the cleats. I get it, man. I still do stupid dumb stuff all the time. Shamus: Mm yeah, I just don't get the what what the what is going on with manhood nowadays, so Herbie: I mean, it's different generation stuff, you know. It'd be like, you know, we go back like when I was a young lad back in my twenties. You know. Shamus: I think it also has something to do with me watching binge watching Mad Men. Herbie: That probably drinking bourbon and stuff like that. There's too many people don't have stories like it. And that was the second time I almost died in that week. You know? Shamus: my god, I got Charlie Horse. So but yeah, shout out to those guys. I hope they enjoy their retirement. I think Rob's staying. I know Girly's heading south to South Carolina. So I hope everything goes well with their move. Yeah. And all that stuff. And again, a shout out to everybody I did get to see and talk to. it's like I said earlier. I know everybody's like, yeah, we need to get together, man, we need to do stuff, and nobody ever does it. So Herbie: Or or organizing Shamus: And I don't know when I'll see those guys again because I am not. No, see, because then on the I did that at the job, I was that guy. And as we're sitting here talking, my one buddy was, my God, that's your next job. retirement party planner. You can change people for the planning part. So and then he writes all this stuff that I should like, dude. I did that at the job, I was that guy. Like in my retirement party, I planned it. I paid for everything. I put the gift bags together. I put the music playlist together. I put my this speaker in there. I had the music going all night, everything. I did all that. So and and I we did Christmas parties. I planned Christmas parties. I did the retirement roast for the one lieutenant, which was awesome. I I don't wanna do it. Like somebody's gonna pick that shit up and go. Herbie: I'm sorry, Seamus. No one else is picking it up, Bretta. I know. No one's picking it up. And I know that that's like, but let me ask you this. Out of the dudes from your work group, like maybe there's like a group of like six to ten that maybe live around in the area. Because I know some of them moved are moving away and stuff, right? You might have to, yeah, you might have to Avengers assemble, Bretta. A little thing. Shamus: I don't even know, man. No, I'm good. Just for a I'm good. Herbie: Little thing could turn into stuff where we blow shit up, which is gonna be cool, cause you know I'm I'll show up for it too. Shamus: No, I think I it's like I said, I I think yesterday that it all just kinda came crashing down. It's just like it's it that's a part of my life where I'm just gonna close the chapter on now and just kinda walk away from it. Because like I said, I'm not going to it was good seeing everybody, but in the same sense it was just kinda like and somebody said it yesterday, it was like the only time you'll see these guys again is another retirement if arty or a funeral. 'Cause that's the only time we get to when you retire, you're going to celebrate somebody else's retirement or you're going to their funeral. So Herbie: Or you can just have a barbecue and just have like you know play some crew. Have like six dudes over. No. And a herbie. yeah, but yeah, you know. Shamus: Well I'll have I'll But and that's another thing. It that's hey man we need to get together. I know I could do that. I could say, hey man, da da well, you know, this guy's got this or blah blah blah, we're going away and da da I'm it's like I said, I I kinda closed that closed that closed that chapter out yesterday. as I was driving home I was like, Yeah, I'm I'm not doing this anymore. Herbie: It's almost like that one that one last summer when you're a kid and you're walking home and you're like, God, this is the last time I'm actually gonna be playing with these guys and be going to high school and do Shamus: Last time I have to worry about being home before the street lights come on. Herbie: I remember I remember that time for me too, man. Shamus: It was it was great why it lasted and all that stuff, but like I'm I'm good. Herbie: All right, let him marinate for a little bit because maybe we could still I mean, you know, our our our buddy system, you know, with our group of friends, we still do shit all the time. Shamus: No doubt. What'd you do this weekend? Since we talked about my bullshit for forty five minutes. Herbie: Well the village handy man hosted fireworks card because our our our town did the fireworks and his daughter Kim were where we camped out at a couple weeks back. She put like lighting systems and stuff back there, like his little secret path. It was like the path to Narnia and stuff back there. Shamus: Yeah she told me she told me she kinda she was like, Are you coming? And I was like, No, she was like, Well I have to work, I gotta go over there and clean up everything. So and then she put it up on her face. It looked nice, man. Herbie: Yeah, so did a great job and they he still got like you know cause it was at nighttime and shit too, but he still got like all those cool statues and stuff back there. It's like it's like the village handyman's version of very small town of what is it grounds for sculpture. It's cool. So yeah, but it was just the fireworks and stuff, work, ordered some more you know, weapons. Shamus: Did you watch a McGregor fight? Herbie: Dude, it was like freaking d another one where his knee goes out and he's like I'm like f you man. Shamus: As soon as he did it, 'cause I was g I I love that dude. Herbie: Yeah, everyone was getting ready to save it. McGregor's gonna do it. Shamus: Like I said, I'm Irish, you know, the whole thing. I just to me he's probably the greatest UFC fighter of all time. And when he came out and when he threw the kick and he kind of landed weird, I was like, all right, maybe he just kinda and then when he slipped again, I was like, and before they even called it, I'm like, this shit's over. He did something to his knee, he fucked something up. and his defense, the first time he fought Holloway, he he beat him with the roundhouse kick. Like that was a huge part of it. So I think he wanted to set the tone early. Herbie: Yeah, but his last fights have been he just tanks it. Shamus: He did come out today and say, I'll be back. I'm I'm thinking they said it it wasn't as bad as they thought. Yeah. So he said, I'll be back. So I think he's got one more go. And the thing with him is there's no more pay-per-view. Yeah. It's all Paramount Plus. So you can pay eight bucks a month and get every UFC fight now. So I don't think people are gonna turn their back on him because they're like, I'm not paying another hundred hours and having a party at my house and everybody chip in to watch this guy get hurt again. Herbie: No Shamus: I think everybody's gonna be like, yeah, all right, you got it one more cause like sh and like Dana White said, shit like that happens, man. The guy's thirty seven years old. So probably don't leave your feet when you throw a kick. Herbie: Dude, 30 s I wish I was 37 again. Yeah, me too. I must be doing some dumb shit. I'm surprised I'm still alive with all due respect. I'm glad I am. I'm just It's always like injuries. And it's great me working at the hospital 'cause every time I like cut my hand open with like a sword or some shit like that or put a meat cleaver in my leg. Yes, that's another true story too. Just like it's just getting stitches at work. They're like, what are you doing? Shamus: 37 I look at everybody and go, All right, let's talk about these retirement parties that are about to happen in about ten years, boys. Fuck is going on. So yeah. yeah, I was kinda d I was really disappointed. The fight well no no the fight before it was good too. That was only ten seconds. That guy Patty the Batty or whatever his name is. Herbie: Don't do no golfing. I know you were don't talk about the flight anymore. can't get into that shit anymore. It's just like you know what is it's like these these types of fights, it's like you can't get like super hyped up about it. Even when like you know betting it on Calcian and whatever. Because it's just it's it's over before it even starts. The the the goddamn celebration after even like the Round of Rousey fight and Gina Carano the the fucking hug after the fight lasted longer than the frickin' fight. Shamus: Well you know what it is? The U sucks. The UFC when it was coming up was kind of like the WWF in the eighties. There were so many superstars. Yeah. You had Shamrock, you had Dito Ortiz, you had Chuck Liddell, you had Anderson Silva, like you knew everybody. And then all of a sudden it just it got so popular they just start putting everybody in there. Yeah. Like Conor McGregor was the only guy I knew unless unless you were fighting McGregor for a while. He was the only guy I really knew in the sport. And then when he went out Like other guys who were into it like all Rampage and then you had John Jones and all that stuff. That guy's a killer, man, John Jones. But I mean, like there wasn't any draw to it. Like Boxing needed Tyson, you know what I mean? Like when Ali fought or Tyson fought, like the world stopped and watched it. you know, when Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell fought, the world stopped to watch because they hated each other. McGregor when he started with he his rise to power, Jesus Christ, man, like everybody wanted a piece of that. Herbie: Yeah, 'cause there was always a lull and stuff. Like like in all sports there's always a l even with baseball and stuff, there was a big lull in baseball and then everyone you know Sosa and everybody with the home runs and stuff, the home run derby thing. Shamus: But then the the another problem with the UFC is you can't get too inve I mean besides guys like Conor McGregor, their run is so short because everybody's so young. Like all these new guys are coming and coming, coming. And then when you get to that age where you just can't fight anymore, it's 30 years old. You're all like for him to come back at 37 after that broken leg after five years is I was kinda like, man, this might go sideways for Herbie: Well, but you what then Well then you know what, if like for me, if it's in order for me to get interested back in that, if those fights happen fast and I'd say, All right, best two out of three then. I mean if it like the first fight was like ten seconds, like all right, you guys g you know, best two out of three, man. Shamus: No, the way he did Aldo. I mean you're not waking that guy. He knocked him out in ten seconds and you're not waking him up to go, okay, that's too fast. Herbie: I mean why not? I mean if he's down with it, I mean they're getting big bank anyway. Shamus: But one thing I'll give McGregor though and how Holloway said this is when he fell on his back, yeah, he like the other fighter, h I think his name's Holloway, was like like he just hesitated and like you see McGregor talking to him and he's going, You're hurt and McGregor's going, Fuck that, let's go, let's fight and da-da-da. He's like and he was like, I don't wanna damage you any more than you already are. Like done. Yeah. So like shout out to that guy for being like a sportsman about it. Because I mean McGregor was going to eat it. He like, all right, I hurt myself. Fuck it. I lost the fight. Go ahead and let's at least put on a show. And the dude was like, nah, I don't want to cause any more damage than there is. So shout out to that guy. Well that's what they said. They're supposed to I guess they're going to fight again. Herbie: I mean Ralph Macchio did it, remember? He was like, frick you know, come on man. Shamus: So it's good to see some sports that'll have a little bit of class too. yeah. You know. and for that, I I've always been a Holloway fan. He's you know, he's he's a pretty decent fighter. So but like I said, I couldn't tell you he was fighting on the next card now. Yeah. I have no idea. So sucks. Hopefully he comes back, man. I'm a huge Conor McGregor fan. Matter of fact, I got one of his guys. I got a he's he' yeah, he's coming up. That's cool. I ordered it, so he's on the way. Herbie: I know you're starting to you get a n you're getting a nice collection, man. Shamus: Yeah, that table's gonna be full, man. Yeah, dude. So I guess we can wrap this up now, right? Okay. Let me get my closing remarks. Herbie: And in closing, Shamus: 'cause well, I started writing stuff down because I forget a lot of stuff. all right.
