- 0:06Hello and welcome to another episode of What do You Call It
- 0:10podcast, I'm Your GB. Today's guest is a comedian
- 0:15making waves in the stand up scene.
- 0:18Please welcome Ellie Wood. Ellie, how you doing?
- 0:20Sam, you're good. Hello, hello, Hello, Joe.
- 0:23Thanks for having me. No problem at all.
- 0:26So I did bump into you on Friday.
- 0:28Good to meet you. Yes.
- 0:30Did Mitchell set? So I'm going to quickly mention
- 0:32The Dirty Dog at Comedy Club because it's run by Terry
- 0:37Gargan, who is actually a friend of mine and a friend of the
- 0:39show. So unfortunately I missed it,
- 0:41but I'd like to know Eddie, how did it go?
- 0:45It was a night to remember, we had a lot of fun.
- 0:48So by the time you got there, the IT just all got a little bit
- 0:52chaotic and out of hand and everyone was just, I couldn't
- 0:54tell who was performing and who wasn't because everyone was just
- 0:58shouting out. And it was brilliant.
- 0:59It just went mad. But it was a lot of fun.
- 1:02And we had, yeah, we all kind of bonded as comedians.
- 1:05I was the young girl, which was quite funny.
- 1:08And so yeah, no, it was brilliant.
- 1:10And I'll definitely be going back there soon.
- 1:12Terry's a Terry's a lot of fun, so for now as well.
- 1:15So yeah, it was a good night. No, it was pretty good.
- 1:19I went with my friend, Paul shouts.
- 1:21Yeah. He's a Kendall.
- 1:23Kendall. That was his nickname
- 1:24completely. About that.
- 1:27Yeah, he had the time of his life.
- 1:28I don't think he's ever been to like a real comedy club before.
- 1:31And I've been talking about dirty dogs before.
- 1:33And then he honestly, not intentionally, but he did take
- 1:36over the show, but it wasn't being horrible or anything, but
- 1:38he's having the time. He was the start of the show.
- 1:42I didn't know if he was like about to get up and perform.
- 1:46He was just calling the shots. He's brilliant.
- 1:48He loved it. Was that his first comedy show?
- 1:50He did kept trying to get me like, like going on stage.
- 1:53I was like, no, I'm not doing it.
- 1:54I'm not doing it. Yeah, I don't like once, twice,
- 1:57but I wasn't great. There was a lot of people there.
- 2:00Yeah, it was at the end, Terry, like just going.
- 2:02So that's great. Went on there for like 2
- 2:03minutes. Just told some like casual
- 2:05jokes. I'm not going for them.
- 2:07Don't worry. Nothing offense or anything, but
- 2:08just your generic jokes that be told like, you know, in the
- 2:12office. And I thought they're hilarious.
- 2:14Yeah. What was Stevie Wonder's first
- 2:16hit the door stuff like that? Brilliant.
- 2:19You've got a love of Stevie Wonder, Joe, just to break the
- 2:21ice. That's it, that's it.
- 2:23But I'm not here to talk about my terrible non existent stand
- 2:25up career. So here's to what yours You're
- 2:27in your first. Year my non existent stand up
- 2:29career. No, you are making waves
- 2:32honestly. Like what can I ask you first
- 2:35though before you have the stand up comedian that you are now?
- 2:37How did you get into stand up comedy?
- 2:40So it's, it's kind of one of those where you look back and
- 2:43go, how did I get here? It was such a natural kind of
- 2:49random sequence of events. I mean, I've always, I've always
- 2:53been a massive, you know, comedy fan from being a little girl,
- 2:56you know, watching Robin Williams, Eddie Murphy, you
- 3:00know, Richard Pryor. With my dad when I was younger
- 3:03and then sort of when I was a teenager.
- 3:06Lee Evans, Eddie Izzard. Sorry, I just don't find Lee
- 3:10Evans funny. No, you know what?
- 3:12A lot of he's he's he's love or hate, but when you're a sort of
- 3:1513 year old girl, he was just, he was brilliant.
- 3:17But yeah, he's very, he's very kind of hit or miss.
- 3:20But back then he was huge. And and yeah, we used to
- 3:24obviously, you know, Mickey Flanagan, we used to love.
- 3:27And then sort of as we've got older, you know, you know, all
- 3:30of the the kind of Ricky Gervais and all that, all those kinds of
- 3:33stand up Queens, but always been into comedy.
- 3:35Loved kind of French and Saunders growing up, Victoria
- 3:38Woods, all the female comedians as well.
- 3:40Smack the pony. I don't know if you remember
- 3:42that show. Do you remember it with the IT
- 3:43was like the female cast and it's like a sketch show.
- 3:48Harry Enfield and Charm photos, A massive comedy fan.
- 3:51But when I was sort of younger, I did like acting.
- 3:56I was sort of did a bit of acting on TV.
- 3:58So I did like the Bill and Crime Watch and all those classics.
- 4:02Yeah. So I've always got performed.
- 4:04I've always been on stage. But then, you know, you grow up,
- 4:07don't you? And then you get, you know.
- 4:09Sorry to interrupt like I did, I wasn't aware of this.
- 4:11Good. Talking about the bill and crime
- 4:13Watch please. Yeah, well, OK, so I was always
- 4:17on stage as a as a child and then I went to kind of a theatre
- 4:20school on a Saturday, you know, singing, dancing, I'm messing
- 4:23about. And then, yeah, they sent us all
- 4:25on an audition and I ended up getting the first part that I
- 4:28ever went for. It was like children's TV show
- 4:30called Acting Crimson. So I was on that.
- 4:33I don't know if you remember Felix Sex.
- 4:35Did you remember him? He was y'all he did.
- 4:38He did a show called Real McCoy. So he was actually a comedian,
- 4:42but he played this like superhero.
- 4:44And I was just upset of him. Like he was just amazing.
- 4:47And then I was only 11, so they took me out of school and I did
- 4:49this show. And then that was it.
- 4:51I was like, this is me. This is just what I want to do.
- 4:54And then I did, yeah. Then I did the bill.
- 4:56Then I did a show called Wire in the Blood.
- 4:59I don't know if you remember that Robson Green.
- 5:02It was like an old, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:04So I did that and then and then Crime Watch.
- 5:06And then I kind of, I got older, you know, I went to work and I
- 5:09just, I just didn't really carry it on.
- 5:11I kind of went and got like a proper job.
- 5:13But I recently turned 40 about, well, about a year ago.
- 5:18And I think when I turned 40, I was just kind of like something
- 5:21is missing. You know, I'm married, I've got
- 5:23kids, I've got, you know, my, my 9:00 to 5:00.
- 5:26There was something that was just like eating away at me,
- 5:30like picking at me going, you've got, you've got to do something.
- 5:32So I was, I'm a storyteller, right?
- 5:35So I don't stand up and tell jokes.
- 5:36I tell stories in a in a kind of funny way.
- 5:40It doesn't matter how, how bad the story is.
- 5:42I'll kind of make, you know, I'll find the funny side.
- 5:45So I kind of started writing all this stuff down and I went to a
- 5:49comedy night at the cafe and I was with my friend and he said I
- 5:54could never get up and do that. And I just thought, you know
- 5:56what, I've got to do it. I've got to sign myself up and
- 5:58do it. And I put myself in for the week
- 6:01after. And in my head I was thinking, I
- 6:04don't know if I'm going to be able to do it.
- 6:06And I've written my set and I kind of hadn't said it to
- 6:09anyone. I didn't tell anyone I was doing
- 6:11it anyway. I went up and did it and I ended
- 6:14up getting the little trophy like, and it was just like, I
- 6:17just kind of loved it. Like it was just such a, it was
- 6:21such a lovely experience and I thought I'd be a lot more
- 6:23nervous, but it just, I just found it so much fun.
- 6:27What came natural? To you a little bit, yeah.
- 6:29Because I just was just talking nonsense and just being myself.
- 6:32I wasn't, I wasn't really sort of trying to be clever or trying
- 6:35to perform in any sort of way. I was just chatting shit
- 6:39basically. And then and yeah, and it just
- 6:41kind of it gave me that feeling that I used to get, you know,
- 6:45when I was when I was younger and I was on stage or when I was
- 6:48on, you know, filming whatever. And it's kind of, I don't know,
- 6:52it's just kind of like giving me like my brought my passion back,
- 6:55you know, So and I'm just meeting like so many people.
- 7:00Everyone I meet is nuts, you know, And it's just people from
- 7:04all walks of life. You've got the posts and you've
- 7:06got the drag Queens, you've got the step holders, everyone and
- 7:10anyone and but we're all just kind of on the same level and
- 7:13it's just, it's just brilliant. You just drive 2 hours away.
- 7:16You don't know where you're going.
- 7:17You sit there, you wait until your set and it's just fun.
- 7:20It's just so much fun. Never really sort of thought
- 7:23about stand up then that way. I just thought someone goes on
- 7:26stage, tells jokes and fucks off to the next show essentially.
- 7:29You know, from an outsider. But then the fact that you're
- 7:32all from different backgrounds. But it's common ground.
- 7:35It's so unique, isn't it? It's so unique and it's so fun.
- 7:40Like, you know, you're like on Friday night, I'm sat there
- 7:42with, you know, the, the, the postman who's become a good mate
- 7:46because I was at another gig with him the other night.
- 7:48And then there's, you know, Roger the welder.
- 7:51He's there and all these, all these people that, that you, you
- 7:55know, you'd never normally meet and you're, you're from
- 7:57different parts of the world and you're all there on your own.
- 8:00But yeah, there is this kind of mad common ground where you're
- 8:03all obviously a little bit weird to want to get up and tell jokes
- 8:07in front of a lot of people you don't know on a Friday night.
- 8:09But yeah, it just feels like I've kind of found my people a
- 8:12little bit like the weirdos. Were you guys where you've been
- 8:15all my life I've. Been waiting for you a lot where
- 8:18you've been. It's just brilliant.
- 8:20I'm just, I'm getting such a buzz from here.
- 8:22I'm just having so much fun. So and he said that you went to
- 8:26your friend for the first show and he thought I'm going to sign
- 8:28up and you ended up doing well and getting the trophy.
- 8:31Yeah, talking about the the weirdos that you've met, but
- 8:33basically community for stand up.
- 8:35I'll say that with love. Oh, 100%.
- 8:37But I want to talk about the reception that you received from
- 8:40your life, like your friends and your family, you know, have they
- 8:44all been like, oh, this is brilliant.
- 8:45We we want to hear you do this or have people like, oh wow, oh,
- 8:48didn't expect this. Yeah, people are kind of like,
- 8:51wow, OK, that's that's mad. I think people, anyone who knows
- 8:56me well, you know, even when I'm doing the school run or wherever
- 8:59I am, I'm always trying to make, not trying to make people laugh,
- 9:03but I just, I'm always thought I don't never really take anything
- 9:05too seriously. I was the class clown at school.
- 9:09You know, I love to tell a story.
- 9:11I love to do impressions of people.
- 9:13So I don't think people were necessarily surprised, but I
- 9:16think it was just a bit like, OK, it was a bit kind of random
- 9:19that I was actually getting on stage and doing it, but I
- 9:22haven't actually had anyone I know come to watch me yet
- 9:24because because I don't want the I don't, I kind of don't want
- 9:28the spells. Great.
- 9:29I know that sounds really weird, but I've got to start having
- 9:32people I know, you know, coming in and and watching me.
- 9:34But no, I haven't at the moment. I'm just kind of bit like The
- 9:38Lone Ranger. I get that.
- 9:41That makes sense. Just just floating around and
- 9:43doing my own thing. So you're saying about like, you
- 9:46know, you tell stories. How do you essentially come up
- 9:49with your material when you do do stand up?
- 9:52So it's today, it's literally my life.
- 9:57It's like my experiences. So I'll do, I'll go back to like
- 10:01the 80s, growing up in the 80s. Terry and I, I did Terry's
- 10:04podcast on Saturday and we talked about the 90s and how our
- 10:08parents, you know, they never took us to the hospital if we
- 10:11banged our heads or you know, it was such a different time back
- 10:13then. I saw that clip, that was quite.
- 10:15Did you say it again? But it's true like you know, you
- 10:17know, it just was. I think if you can talk to, if
- 10:21you can talk about the 80s, nineties, obviously I was, I was
- 10:23a kid, but if I've got a, you know, 6070 year old in the
- 10:27audience that resonates with him as well because he would, you
- 10:30know, he's got the perspective of the parents.
- 10:32So I'll just go back and talk about, you know, how how mad my
- 10:35mum and dad were, what it was, you know, what it was like at
- 10:38school. I talked a bit about like the
- 10:39midlife crisis and you know, all the sort of things you go
- 10:43through once you turn 40 and think people just resonate.
- 10:46I think because you know, if you, if you make a joke out of
- 10:49something that a lot of people are going through, I think it
- 10:53kind of you're, you're, you're massively sort of connecting
- 10:55with people when they can't and they say, Oh, you know what?
- 10:58And it's a really nice way of connecting with the audience,
- 11:01you know, rather than, you know, telling, telling a joke, you
- 11:05know, Bosh, Bosh, Bosh. I'm more kind of make make a
- 11:09sort of normal situation of, you know, see the funny side of it,
- 11:12you know? Because there's truth to it as
- 11:14well, that's the thing. 100%. They'll know if you're lying on
- 11:17stage, That's the thing. They will know.
- 11:20Exactly. It's relatable.
- 11:22It's relatable. It's also, you know, a girl will
- 11:25come up to me and go, Oh my God, you know, that happened to me
- 11:27and does it there and then it's, you know, it gives you this
- 11:30really nice kind of connection afterwards that you sort of
- 11:32carry on with, carry on the conversation, but you're sort of
- 11:35taking the piss out of it. Really.
- 11:37If you can take the piss out of yourself, then it just sort of
- 11:39minimizes the seriousness of everything, you know?
- 11:42I do it quite well. It makes me.
- 11:44Feel. Yeah, I do it everyday.
- 11:46Definitely helps. What do you say has been your
- 11:49best audience so far? My best audience, obviously
- 11:53Dirty Dogs was brilliant. You and you and Ken weren't
- 11:57there for myself, but I'm sure you would have, you would have
- 12:00been, you know, laughing at every single joke.
- 12:03And I had a really good time at I went to GMB comedy in the Bell
- 12:10in in the city. And this particular audience,
- 12:13there was some really lively girls in the audience.
- 12:16And a lot of the time and comedy club, there's a lot of men in
- 12:18the audience. And but this particular time
- 12:21there was some young girls and they were just, they were just
- 12:23there for a good time. Their energy was mad.
- 12:25They were shouting out and everything I was saying they
- 12:29were kind of coming back. And I really like that kind of
- 12:31back and forward with them. So, yeah, I think that that
- 12:34stands out because of those two girls in the audience.
- 12:37You know, they are really, really, you know, it became like
- 12:40me and them. Do you know what I mean?
- 12:41It was like I was doing it for those two girls.
- 12:43They were. They were feeling everything I
- 12:45was saying. It was lovely.
- 12:46If you used to come back on the podcast, let's say in a year's
- 12:49time, what was you about to achieved in your comedy career?
- 12:54So I would just like to keep doing what I'm doing.
- 12:58Obviously I'd like to get my sets to be longer.
- 13:02I'd like the audiences to get bigger.
- 13:05You know, ideally I'd like to be supporting some of the, you
- 13:08know, high profile comedians. You know, I know these this
- 13:11stuff takes time, but I like doing the smaller, you know, the
- 13:14smaller night and the open minds and stuff that.
- 13:17More intimate, isn't it? Yeah, exactly.
- 13:19Yeah, exactly. It'd be good to do maybe like a
- 13:22bigger crowd and just kind of get, might, yeah, get get maybe
- 13:25just more of a more of a postponer on stage and, and just
- 13:29be able to kind of take it further afield really.
- 13:33Wicked, if you had any jokes that haven't exactly gone over
- 13:37with the crowd very well. I don't mean, like, offensive,
- 13:39but like, just bombed on stage because I thought every comedian
- 13:42has that story. Yeah.
- 13:45So it's really weird because there's I've got jokes that I've
- 13:48said and one night, for example, everyone has cried and laughed
- 13:52and it's gone down really well. And I've been like, that's
- 13:54amazing. So I'm more confident the next
- 13:56time. And then I'll say it the next
- 13:58time and it's just like complete, complete silence.
- 14:03Like they either haven't got it or it's the wrong night or it's
- 14:06not the right vibe. And then I'm just, you know, and
- 14:09then it's just like, well, I really don't know about whether
- 14:11this joke's going to land next time or not.
- 14:13So yeah, you don't, you don't kind of get rid of it, but you
- 14:15sort of maybe reframe it the next time.
- 14:17What? Do you think makes a good stand
- 14:19up comedian? I think you've got to be able to
- 14:24read the room, you've got to be able to work the crowd and I
- 14:29think you've probably got to adapt on the night.
- 14:32So if you've got a certain set in your head and they're not and
- 14:35they're not getting it and they're not rolling with it, I
- 14:37think you've got to be able to be sharp and think on your feet.
- 14:40And obviously you've got to be a bit weird and a bit mad to do it
- 14:43all in the first place. You cannot be normal in comedy.
- 14:46No, no, no, normal. Normal just doesn't wash.
- 14:49Don't be any normal comedians anyway, that's the thing.
- 14:51No, I don't think so. I'm trying to think.
- 14:53I don't think there is one. No, I mean.
- 14:55I wouldn't call Terry no more. I'm not saying the bad head by
- 14:57the way, Terry, just just so you know, I think you're awesome and
- 14:59your mate, but I just he's amazing person, but.
- 15:03No, but he actually, he actually said, we actually had this
- 15:05conversation on this podcast. He was like, we're not normal,
- 15:08are we? He said it's just not normal.
- 15:09I said no, but that's why I'm sort of having so much fun
- 15:12because it's like you're meeting people that also are just kind
- 15:16of sort of out there and what you know, off the cuff as you
- 15:20are, it's it's quite refreshing. Nice.
- 15:23Got a fun question for you. I asked all my guests this.
- 15:27Yeah, that Normally it's a wrestling question.
- 15:28Don't worry, there's not going to be a wrestling.
- 15:30Question. I know it's a wrestling.
- 15:31I might surprise you. 3 dream dinner guests for your dream
- 15:35party. You're the host, past or
- 15:37present, dead or alive, fiction, non fictional, doesn't matter.
- 15:41But I want three people. You'll be the best one.
- 15:44You'd be surprised to the answers I've had for this, by
- 15:46the way. Jennifer Saunders affected her.
- 15:49Jennifer Saunders? Who else would I have?
- 15:53Oh God, I'm terrible on the spot.
- 15:58Bet you say Lee Evans. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 16:01I'm. Sorry, I just like never don't
- 16:04like he. Like there's something about
- 16:05Mary. I think he's just shitting it.
- 16:08You know what? I think it's because he's sort
- 16:10of over, over icked it. You can tell him he's very, he's
- 16:13very sort of grateful to get a part in a Hollywood film and he
- 16:16kind of overdoes it. Yeah, like the American accent.
- 16:19Just a bit questionable. Yeah, he is.
- 16:21Yeah, he's a bit annoying. He's just completely retired
- 16:24from the scene now, isn't he? Just lives a really quiet life.
- 16:26I was reading it the other day. He doesn't.
- 16:27Do anything. I can't say I'm sad, but.
- 16:29No, you'll be all right with that.
- 16:32Yeah, I love Jim Carrey. Favorite Jim Carrey film?
- 16:38Another bonus question. Favorite Jim Carrey film?
- 16:41I'd find I'd really struggle to choose one but I love the yes
- 16:48man. All the films I don't mind it,
- 16:52but. Yes, I love it.
- 16:55I love the meaning, love the meaning behind it.
- 16:57I love. What else do I love?
- 17:00I love all of his films. What's your favorite Jim Carrey
- 17:02film? Oh, I never get asked a question
- 17:04on my own podcast, Truman Show maybe might have said.
- 17:09Truman Yeah, I like The Truman Show, although it does get a
- 17:12little bit dark, don't you think?
- 17:14I know, but I love it. Just a dark comedy.
- 17:16I think it's kind of perfect for me personally.
- 17:18I've never seen the cinema and I just felt in love of it and I've
- 17:21watched it so many times. Maybe the sunshine.
- 17:24Of the chocolate spotless wine. Yeah, I loved it.
- 17:27It was brilliant. One of the films I've kind of
- 17:29come back and watch sometimes and a bit down, and I think you
- 17:31like it. You know, I've got Truman Show
- 17:37guns in my head, Yeah. Do you know what maybe I'm
- 17:42saying? Yes, ma'am, because I've watched
- 17:43it recently and I think where where I was, the place I was in
- 17:47in my life. Like you say, you go back and
- 17:48watch a film, it kind of hit a bit different.
- 17:51The mood I was in at the at the time I watched it and I was
- 17:53like, you know what? And I just loved the kind of
- 17:57meaning of the film about kind of opening up doors and where I
- 18:00was at the time and a bit of a crossroads in my life.
- 18:03I think it really resonated. I probably wouldn't have said
- 18:05that a year ago. You know, I might have said
- 18:07like, liar, liar or something. I love him in that film.
- 18:09Stop breaking the law, asshole. You can tell the truth.
- 18:15Have you seen him now though? He's gone all like majorly
- 18:18spiritual. Yes, I watched.
- 18:21What's the film? It's Man the Moon, and it's a
- 18:24documentary about the film. It's on Netflix and it's him and
- 18:27Andy Kaufman. And he's just so spiritual.
- 18:29It's like, oh, I became Andy. I was him.
- 18:32But everyone else is like, you're just annoying the fuck
- 18:34out of me. But Jim Carrey's like I am Andy
- 18:35Kaufman, yeah. Yeah, I saw a red carpet
- 18:40interview with him. And they're like, so how how is
- 18:42it tonight? Like, what do you think It's
- 18:43like the Oscars or something? And he's just like, I'm not
- 18:46here. I don't exist.
- 18:47You don't exist. Time doesn't exist.
- 18:49The woman's like, OK, none of this exists.
- 18:52He's like, it doesn't matter. It's just ridiculous.
- 18:54It's point. It's pointless.
- 18:56I'm not doing Perry. I'm just a pigment of your
- 18:58imagination. And she was just like, right.
- 19:02He's gone deep. Yeah, I hope so.
- 19:04Three does well, by the way. Yeah, good.
- 19:07Exactly, he's gone, he's gone mega deep.
- 19:08But no, I love him. I think he's great.
- 19:11Who would be #3? So, James Saunders, Jim.
- 19:14Carrey, Jim. Carrey, Jennifer Saunders,
- 19:19because she's just my idol, full stop.
- 19:22And while I'm thinking of my third, can I ask who yours are?
- 19:26Oh, that's a tough. Tough.
- 19:30Question. It's tough, isn't it?
- 19:32OK, so Oh my God, I've never been asked this.
- 19:35Wow, first time. Oh, no.
- 19:39Right. Number one, I'm going to go with
- 19:42The Rock. I know it's a bit of a boring
- 19:44answer. Dwayne Johnson, he.
- 19:45Might come to mine as well to be fair. #2 Thierry Henry.
- 19:50Arsenal. Are you Arsenal?
- 19:51Yep. Come on, can I be the first?
- 19:55Because I actually I like to scatter that party.
- 19:57Yeah. Go on.
- 20:01Not really. I think #3 probably wants to go
- 20:04for that sentimental like say like my Nan or something like.
- 20:09I didn't go for anyone sentimental.
- 20:10Yeah, I think based on past answers as well, I'm just like,
- 20:13yeah, like OK, I put the 2 legends, but there's there's
- 20:16another conversation with her, you know?
- 20:19Yeah, of course would obviously then I'd go for my dad because I
- 20:21lost my dad six years ago, literally yesterday, six years
- 20:25ago yesterday. So I think you always, like,
- 20:28immediately think of like famous people, don't you?
- 20:30But then obviously you did say famous, not famous.
- 20:33So yeah, I'd have my dad there as well.
- 20:35I don't know how that go down, My dad, Jim Carrey and Jennifer
- 20:38Saunders, but. What would you have for serving
- 20:41them by the way? Just to sort of wrap this
- 20:44perfect event up for you. What would I have?
- 20:47What? What would I feed them?
- 20:49Yeah, what would you feed them? What would I feed them?
- 20:55I'd probably do one of my homemade curries in a in a big
- 20:58in a big bowl in the middle and everyone could just help
- 21:01themselves. Nice fresh produce.
- 21:04That's so boring, isn't it? Not at all.
- 21:07What? Would you want to do, Sir?
- 21:09Probably go Nando's like 5 times.
- 21:12You go, you go easy, you go delivery, getting out.
- 21:18But then I feel like with the rock, he'll, he'll be OK with
- 21:20that. But Tianri, you know, he might
- 21:21want to be classier, you know, just like, you know, like.
- 21:26I would like sort of something, something kind of like a Cocker
- 21:30van or something like that, something French.
- 21:33Then I'll have my nan who probably just would happy with
- 21:35like some haggis, you know, Paloni or something like that,
- 21:39or white pudding, you know? Yeah, Scottish, in case anyone
- 21:42doesn't gamble by this point I. Was.
- 21:45Going to say yeah me name of random dishes in Scotland.
- 21:49Yeah. No connection.
- 21:53But I like both our meals, both our selections.
- 21:55I think it's wicked, the dream dinner class.
- 21:57That's why I like the question as well.
- 21:58People can open up, they can switch off as sort of, you know,
- 22:01getting to the end of the interview and just like you to
- 22:04have a think, but sort of ending a high or even a bit emotional.
- 22:07But it's good, it's awesome, that's awesome, it's wicked.
- 22:12So I'm sure I'm going to see it Dirty Dogs Comedy Club again and
- 22:15I'm looking forward. To.
