- 0:00Speaker 1: Well return after these messages.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a resting podcast show fucking.
- 0:18Speaker 1: March block job.
- 0:23Speaker 3: All right, everyone, here we are with the Patreon exclusive
- 0:26Speaker 3: bonus interview with Anthony Bowens. I am smart Mark Sterling. Hello,
- 0:29Speaker 3: thanks for coming.
- 0:30Speaker 4: Down, Hello Patreon, Major Figure Wrestling Podcast.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Major Wrestling Figure Podcast.
- 0:38Speaker 3: First of all, I think this is one of the
- 0:40Speaker 3: best hotel rooms we've ever been in.
- 0:42Speaker 1: It is pretty nice.
- 0:43Speaker 4: And I will say and point out the shade gimmick
- 0:47Speaker 4: you have that blocks out the light is perfect.
- 0:50Speaker 3: When I woke up this morning, I was like, is
- 0:52Speaker 3: it still the middle of the night exactly?
- 0:54Speaker 1: It was nine thirty in the morning.
- 0:55Speaker 4: It was a nice and cozy and then I was
- 0:56Speaker 4: awakened by a text from one smart Mark. Actually it
- 1:02Speaker 4: helped out because I was having a dream that myself
- 1:05Speaker 4: and Michael, my boyfriend, were being chased by some evil
- 1:08Speaker 4: guy with a gun.
- 1:09Speaker 1: So it was very helpful. Damn, I wonder what that means.
- 1:12Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Do you guys think did do you have deep down?
- 1:14Speaker 3: Do you think that there's an evil man stalking you?
- 1:16Speaker 1: I hope nah.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Yeah, So what I think what makes a good hotel room?
- 1:21Speaker 3: USB plugs all over the place, sure, right, A nice
- 1:25Speaker 3: a desk chair, A nice desk. I do work, so
- 1:27Speaker 3: I need that, okay, and then plugs. Sometimes they don't
- 1:30Speaker 3: even have plugs near the desk. It's like, what are
- 1:32Speaker 3: you supposed to plug your shit into?
- 1:33Speaker 1: I just need a plug right next to the bed.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Right, good, two plugs and two USB's on both sides.
- 1:40Speaker 4: It's great because some hotels have a ton of shit
- 1:45Speaker 4: plugged into it and then I have to start unplugging.
- 1:47Speaker 1: It's not good. Yes, that's good.
- 1:49Speaker 3: This one of the best hotel room. I don't know
- 1:51Speaker 3: about the area, but one of the best hotels anyways. Okay, well,
- 1:54Speaker 3: we're enjoying this interview in that hotel room.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Are you sure my audio is being picked up? Fine?
- 1:58Speaker 1: Because I'm pretty far back away from this. No, No,
- 2:00Speaker 1: we're good.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Okay, it's got it's good auto levels and all that shit.
- 2:03Speaker 3: I mean, this is not going to be the best,
- 2:05Speaker 3: but we're recording, you know, full discloser. Guys were recording
- 2:07Speaker 3: on two I mean on one microphone. Normally we have two,
- 2:10Speaker 3: but I don't have the equipment to do that, and
- 2:13Speaker 3: my bags were.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Full, so this is what we have.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Sure, Okay, So uh, first of all, how did we meet?
- 2:23Speaker 1: How did we meet? It's got to be creative bro.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't remember. It was probably a birthday party.
- 2:28Speaker 3: I'm thinking the first time I sort of mingled with
- 2:32Speaker 3: the New Jersey guys.
- 2:32Speaker 1: We're birthday parties.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Probably, I think when Creative Pro first started and then
- 2:37Speaker 4: we were starting to kind of mix rosters a little bit,
- 2:41Speaker 4: it was at birthday parties because I think Pat was very.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Into birthday parties at one point. I feel like there
- 2:47Speaker 1: was one every other weekend.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Well, it was like it's a great money making thing
- 2:50Speaker 3: for the school. If if they put like a I
- 2:53Speaker 3: always think like if CAP ran like a television commercial
- 2:56Speaker 3: about birthday parties, like you know shot, well it would fuck.
- 2:59Speaker 1: It would be like you could retire on that business.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I mean they're great, Yeah, they're fine. Well they used
- 3:05Speaker 1: to be fun. I haven't obviously, I haven't done one
- 3:07Speaker 1: in like four years, so I don't know.
- 3:09Speaker 4: I think the last one I did, I got it
- 3:10Speaker 4: was disastrous because somebody it might have been Damien Gibbs.
- 3:15Speaker 1: He uh that was the last one. He's been retired
- 3:17Speaker 1: for for years.
- 3:19Speaker 4: I think he did a big cake spot and didn't
- 3:21Speaker 4: tell anybody. Oh yeah, you heard that I'm pretty sure
- 3:24Speaker 4: it was Gibbs and not a lot of people were
- 3:28Speaker 4: happy about that because there's cake all over.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Their gear, cake everywhere, ruined the kids' birthday.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Well, that might have been Castor. No cast did it
- 3:36Speaker 1: at a Wrestleborough show. Was that the brewery?
- 3:40Speaker 3: No? I think Castor did the cake spot at a
- 3:43Speaker 3: Rustbroo show inway with and Pat had to wrestle right
- 3:49Speaker 3: after kind of here literally.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Wrestling birthday cake. That's very true.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Yes, Okay, so now you are all there are a
- 4:00Speaker 3: lot of people know that because.
- 4:05Speaker 1: You know the Ethan page vlogs.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I guess do you talk about it much like in
- 4:09Speaker 3: interviews or like on your social media?
- 4:12Speaker 4: No one really brings it up sometimes. I mean I'll
- 4:14Speaker 4: hear a like meet and greets. I think a lot
- 4:16Speaker 4: of people will say, hey, I love your your your
- 4:19Speaker 4: toy hunts with Evan. That's really where it comes up most.
- 4:23Speaker 4: But you know, huge toy collector, you know that any
- 4:27Speaker 4: kind of toy that meant something to me when I
- 4:29Speaker 4: was a kid, I gotta I gotta get it back.
- 4:32Speaker 4: If I still don't have it, and I either have
- 4:34Speaker 4: to have it I can't have it.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Just what do we call it opened. I needed to
- 4:40Speaker 1: have it in the box.
- 4:41Speaker 4: I need it fresh, I need the entire experience as
- 4:43Speaker 4: I remembered it as a kid. And I have gotten
- 4:48Speaker 4: most of the stuff back, but my hunt continues right now.
- 4:54Speaker 3: I've never talked to you about this at all. What's
- 4:57Speaker 3: the story with like the displaying? You have a room.
- 5:01Speaker 4: So no, I don't have a displayed place yet. I'm
- 5:04Speaker 4: currently looking into buying a home and hopefully I don't
- 5:08Speaker 4: think this particular one will have the space for it,
- 5:11Speaker 4: but the dream home down the line. I want a
- 5:13Speaker 4: room where I will have everything displayed. And I will
- 5:17Speaker 4: figure that out when the time comes. But right now,
- 5:19Speaker 4: everything is in my closet at my parents'.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Home in New Jersey. Oh man, so you ship it
- 5:23Speaker 1: the Jersey, yes?
- 5:24Speaker 3: Buy it?
- 5:25Speaker 1: Ship it the Jersey yes, because we don't have any
- 5:27Speaker 1: space currently at the my apartment.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Oh that's sad. You get it and then you have
- 5:31Speaker 3: to give it away?
- 5:32Speaker 4: Well, the thing is like, I I get so torn
- 5:36Speaker 4: because then I have to think I maybe have to
- 5:37Speaker 4: buy two of them, because when I get the box,
- 5:39Speaker 4: I'm like, Okay, the box is nice, but I really
- 5:41Speaker 4: want to open it. But then I'm so into like
- 5:45Speaker 4: box condition, and I don't want to like take the
- 5:48Speaker 4: tape off and rip anything, so very OCD about that.
- 5:51Speaker 4: But then I also want the piece itself, so I
- 5:53Speaker 4: don't I don't know what to do. I'm very fickled
- 5:55Speaker 4: when it comes to it. Sometimes I'll open it and
- 5:57Speaker 4: be like, Wow, this is cool, but then I'll put
- 5:59Speaker 4: it right back in the box and I'll put it
- 6:01Speaker 4: back in the closet.
- 6:02Speaker 1: So it just depends.
- 6:03Speaker 3: I think that's every collector's dilemma with every piece. Really
- 6:06Speaker 3: you get it. You kind of love the packaging, especially
- 6:11Speaker 3: if it's retro, so you admire it, but then you
- 6:13Speaker 3: just rip through it. It's a tough thing, even if
- 6:16Speaker 3: you're I'm mostly a loose collector, and even I have
- 6:19Speaker 3: a problem opening thing sometimes because they just look so
- 6:22Speaker 3: great in the package, but you don't really have the
- 6:24Speaker 3: space to display the volume of the boxes.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yeah, in package.
- 6:30Speaker 4: I do remember one of my biggest uh whatever you
- 6:33Speaker 4: call it, I was torn was I always I had
- 6:37Speaker 4: just about every Jack's figure that there was for a
- 6:41Speaker 4: probably ninety.
- 6:44Speaker 1: End of ninety seven on up.
- 6:45Speaker 4: So I kind of missed the first two Superstar series,
- 6:49Speaker 4: I guess Superstar one and two, and then I think.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I picked up on might've been around four with the
- 6:54Speaker 1: Bad Boys.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Yep, that's exactly what I came into. But they just
- 6:59Speaker 3: basically really still those guys anyway, Sure, Sean Michaels and
- 7:02Speaker 3: the bread Harden.
- 7:02Speaker 1: But that Ultimate Warrior, which I think was series one one, Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 4: I always had I couldn't find it, and then it
- 7:11Speaker 4: would always be like ridiculous, that's hard to find.
- 7:14Speaker 1: And then I took it in two. I went to.
- 7:18Speaker 4: On vacation in Los Angeles and I went to a
- 7:20Speaker 4: place called Big Lose Toys and Collectibles, and I found
- 7:24Speaker 4: it for twelve bucks.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Damn, that's a good deal.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Twelve dollars.
- 7:28Speaker 4: I don't think the guy knew what he had because
- 7:30Speaker 4: it was going for a couple hundred on eBay at
- 7:31Speaker 4: the time.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Still goes for a hundred somewhere up.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Yeah, And I was like, my dad saw it and he
- 7:39Speaker 4: knew as we scooped it up real quick, and I
- 7:41Speaker 4: just I refused to open it. And then as my
- 7:44Speaker 4: figure fed grew and I needed some new debuts, I
- 7:49Speaker 4: just kept looking over at this Ultimate Warrior figure, and
- 7:52Speaker 4: then all of a sudden I had to rip it open.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I opened it, and I don't regret it because it
- 7:58Speaker 1: was a good figure. I still have it. Who cares.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, you know that you're ruining the value
- 8:02Speaker 3: of most of these things as you open it.
- 8:04Speaker 4: But the one I did not to cut you off.
- 8:07Speaker 4: The one I did keep in the box was the
- 8:08Speaker 4: Glow in the Dark Taker. I don't remember what series
- 8:13Speaker 4: that was, but it's, yes, the Purple Taker, but it's
- 8:16Speaker 4: got the Glow in the Dark face saying that one
- 8:18Speaker 4: I never opened for some reason.
- 8:19Speaker 1: That was my only Undertaker, the Glow in the Dark one.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I was.
- 8:23Speaker 3: A kid who I wanted more guys. So like, you know,
- 8:26Speaker 3: you go to the store, you got eight bucks, you
- 8:29Speaker 3: can only buy one figure.
- 8:31Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 8:32Speaker 3: I am not taking that eight dollars and buying another
- 8:35Speaker 3: Undertaker when I could have hardcore holly right.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Sure. I wasn't like, we.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Weren't rich, so it you know, it wasn't often that
- 8:47Speaker 3: I would get a new figure, So I'm taking the
- 8:51Speaker 3: new guy rather than a second Undertaker, And I'll just
- 8:55Speaker 3: use my imagination when it's like, you know, when these
- 8:57Speaker 3: guys change. I'm pretty sure I used Justin Hawk Bradshaw
- 9:00Speaker 3: with the long hair in APA.
- 9:02Speaker 1: It's just like I.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Didn't want to get you know what I'm saying.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Sure, so whatever, that was just my thing.
- 9:07Speaker 4: I used to do that too, and some were just
- 9:10Speaker 4: not even close because before the I think it was
- 9:13Speaker 4: x pox came out in series seven, I needed an
- 9:18Speaker 4: x poc and there was nothing close to him. So
- 9:21Speaker 4: do you remember the Slammer's Mankind that, Yes, yes, he
- 9:24Speaker 4: was the only one capable of grabbing the person's head
- 9:26Speaker 4: for a perfect X factor because his arms are loose.
- 9:29Speaker 4: So that Slammer's Mankind was my XPOC.
- 9:31Speaker 3: For long brown hair. Yeah, that's fine, that's fine. Matt
- 9:34Speaker 3: talks about it all the time. He did the same
- 9:36Speaker 3: thing with his with his Hasbro's famously, the mister Perfect
- 9:40Speaker 3: Hasbro was his Sonny the Blunde.
- 9:44Speaker 1: That's okay, I don't feel bad anymore.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Yeah, so I didn't even honestly, all this talk, all
- 9:50Speaker 3: the toyots that we've been on, I knew you were
- 9:53Speaker 3: a Power Rangers guy. I had no idea that you
- 9:59Speaker 3: were a wrestling collect well, at least as a kid.
- 10:02Speaker 3: You don't have any Now you're not diving back into
- 10:04Speaker 3: that yet.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I will only buy the people that I wrestle currently.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Oh you do do that? Oh that's cool. So you
- 10:10Speaker 1: have aw figures? I do. I refuse to buy anything
- 10:13Speaker 1: until I wrestle them.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Okay, that's cool. I had that collection. The guy's made
- 10:18Speaker 3: fun of me about it, but yeah, I had a
- 10:22Speaker 3: similar thing. But I actually just sort of sold most
- 10:24Speaker 3: of it off. But why, I was just getting like
- 10:29Speaker 3: I kind of did like anybody I worked with, you know,
- 10:32Speaker 3: so he was just getting really big.
- 10:34Speaker 1: And it's like, what am I doing here? M storage reason? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay,
- 10:39Speaker 1: that's fine. But yeah I was, but I think, I mean,
- 10:42Speaker 1: you are actually wrestling that my not really, but yeah,
- 10:46Speaker 1: it was yeah, I do that for that.
- 10:48Speaker 4: But for older like as a kid, I everything was
- 10:51Speaker 4: just it went from straight from Power Rangers to wrestling.
- 10:54Speaker 1: It was everything. And I was an only child. The
- 10:58Speaker 1: nineties were a booming economy.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Wrestlers were about four ninety nine or something, so I
- 11:03Speaker 4: would my dad would bring me to toys r us
- 11:05Speaker 4: Here's twenty bucks.
- 11:05Speaker 1: I'd walk out with five wrestlers, four.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Wrestlers every single time.
- 11:13Speaker 1: So my my.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Room was just absolutely stacked with wrestling figures and I
- 11:19Speaker 4: had wrestling my wrestling Federation where I had, Wow, this
- 11:25Speaker 4: is bringing back good memories at custom stages for everything.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Really, I had a yearly planner.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Where I would write out the federation schedule. I think
- 11:36Speaker 4: my wrestling media was blood, Sweat and Tears. That was
- 11:38Speaker 4: the big That was the big mania for my figure fed.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Wow, I didn't see that bro all the time that
- 11:45Speaker 3: we spent together, all the toyonts.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I never knew that you had fig feds.
- 11:48Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I was huge into it. I had
- 11:51Speaker 4: the specially my room, my mom's room was the main arena.
- 11:54Speaker 4: If I was a pay per view, it would be
- 11:56Speaker 4: in my room. And then sometimes if my my grandma
- 12:00Speaker 4: was in a good mood, I would go down to
- 12:02Speaker 4: the special on the kitchen table. For whenever SmackDown was
- 12:07Speaker 4: on for some reason, I'd go to the kitchen table
- 12:09Speaker 4: and that would be like my SmackDown arena. So I
- 12:13Speaker 4: would like to have different arenas from the kitchen excuse me, who.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Else was there?
- 12:22Speaker 4: I used to really get excited for the custom entrances
- 12:24Speaker 4: like I bought do you remember, of course you do?
- 12:26Speaker 4: But the Nitro arena with the trust off the best
- 12:28Speaker 4: ye I that used to be on like Markdown at
- 12:31Speaker 4: this place called zone for toys by my house, so
- 12:33Speaker 4: I bought like three of them. So I had so
- 12:36Speaker 4: many of those metal trusses, so I had ay every.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Pay per view was a special interest constructed.
- 12:43Speaker 4: And then eventually, eventually, when I had a fan in
- 12:48Speaker 4: my room and it had like rungs around it, I
- 12:51Speaker 4: bought some chicken wire and I constructed the trust that
- 12:55Speaker 4: would hang.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Over the ring. And then eventually I had my laptop
- 12:59Speaker 1: so I could play music.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Oh my god, perfect, Wow, that is way more. You know,
- 13:06Speaker 3: I did similar things, but but you you went above
- 13:08Speaker 3: and beyond. I think even Matt. I mean Matt lit
- 13:11Speaker 3: his toys on fire for legit, but that.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Is that is pretty crazy. Are you familiar with You're
- 13:16Speaker 1: not familiar.
- 13:17Speaker 3: But we have a thing. We have a spinoff podcast
- 13:19Speaker 3: podcast called f.
- 13:20Speaker 1: WF the actual figure feds right.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Yes, but so it's a little confusing. We have live
- 13:26Speaker 3: shows called the f WF that we actually wrestle on.
- 13:29Speaker 3: It was our FWF Live, but f WF is our
- 13:32Speaker 3: spinoff podcast where we the first season was Brian and
- 13:35Speaker 3: Matt drafted bone crunching action figures and then booked weekly
- 13:40Speaker 3: shows and presented them audibly in the podcast. Okay, so winners, losers,
- 13:47Speaker 3: what's happening whatever. So basically they rebooked their fig feds
- 13:50Speaker 3: and then took figure photography and it was a big hit,
- 13:54Speaker 3: but it was so much work, like the prep for it,
- 13:57Speaker 3: the pictures for it. We sort of had to retire
- 14:00Speaker 3: it because we all got busy. But during COVID everyone
- 14:03Speaker 3: had played. But I think I think you would be
- 14:06Speaker 3: a great candidate someday when you maybe when you retire,
- 14:08Speaker 3: we'll bring back f WF. You can you can go
- 14:10Speaker 3: against Matt.
- 14:11Speaker 4: I would love to do something like that because that
- 14:13Speaker 4: was such a big part of my I would not
- 14:16Speaker 4: think about anything else at school other than getting home,
- 14:19Speaker 4: so I can you know if it was a Monday
- 14:20Speaker 4: night and just having everything set up my arena, oh
- 14:23Speaker 4: my god. Then the one of the stages that I did,
- 14:27Speaker 4: my uncle drilled holes into like I think it was
- 14:31Speaker 4: the cardboard raw entrance, yeah, oh yeah, with.
- 14:35Speaker 1: The plastic ramp. Yep. He drilled holes into it all
- 14:38Speaker 1: over the place and then on the ramp and then
- 14:40Speaker 1: we rigged Christmas lights into it, so it was like
- 14:43Speaker 1: a whole lit up stage. I think that was my
- 14:45Speaker 1: favorite one.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Guys, he is one of us more than one of
- 14:50Speaker 3: us and funny the King of Us, funny enough at
- 14:54Speaker 3: one point for a good run.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Daddy Ass was my champion the signature your series too
- 15:01Speaker 4: with the Blue Trust my favorite Billy Gun figure and
- 15:05Speaker 4: it's really really crazy.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Have you told about that? No, because I don't. I
- 15:08Speaker 1: think you should.
- 15:09Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 15:09Speaker 3: If you got, you got, you gotta tell him it.
- 15:13Speaker 1: That's good. I think he would like that. All right,
- 15:16Speaker 1: Well that was just us shooting the ship.
- 15:19Speaker 4: So actually before we do questions, I want to ask
- 15:21Speaker 4: you yes, and I don't. If you don't know, I
- 15:23Speaker 4: got to ask Brian or or Cardona because they probably
- 15:26Speaker 4: would know. Do you remember a figure fit online? Probably
- 15:29Speaker 4: around year two thousand, I don't remember. I can't remember
- 15:34Speaker 4: what the name is. But he would have a monthly.
- 15:40Speaker 1: How did I put it?
- 15:41Speaker 4: It was almost like what's it called stop motion? Every
- 15:46Speaker 4: single month. It was like something heaven. But he'd have
- 15:49Speaker 4: a full storyline with these cool custom entrances and he
- 15:54Speaker 4: would have like instructions of how to build it, and
- 15:57Speaker 4: then he would sell the stuff motion show on like
- 16:02Speaker 4: the CDs.
- 16:03Speaker 1: My god, and I don't know, I don't.
- 16:06Speaker 3: That doesn't ring a bell at all, but I but
- 16:07Speaker 3: you are literally talking to the only group of people
- 16:10Speaker 3: on planet Earth that would know.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Okay, so anybody can remember what it was, It had
- 16:14Speaker 4: to be around ninety nine two thousand, probably more of
- 16:16Speaker 4: the two thousand because the figures I think were the
- 16:20Speaker 4: the Titan Tron figures. It might have been two thousand
- 16:23Speaker 4: or oh one. Ye, But I used to look forward
- 16:26Speaker 4: to this dude putting this stuff up every single month,
- 16:29Speaker 4: and I always wanted to buy the CDs, but for
- 16:31Speaker 4: some reason, I never did. But if you can, if
- 16:35Speaker 4: everybody remembers that, please send me the name of it,
- 16:38Speaker 4: because I'd love to see if for some reason, like
- 16:40Speaker 4: there's like some existence of it still on the internet,
- 16:43Speaker 4: because I will go back and I will watch every
- 16:44Speaker 4: single one of them.
- 16:45Speaker 3: That's awesome, all right, Well, guys that you got a
- 16:47Speaker 3: job to do else, okay. Neil Donahue says, this is
- 16:52Speaker 3: a cool massive fan of the acclaimed Neil. Here's a
- 16:54Speaker 3: simple one. What is your absolute holy Grail piece.
- 17:00Speaker 1: In general? Like, yeah, the one you're looking for or
- 17:03Speaker 1: the one if you have it in general Holy Grail? Yeah,
- 17:12Speaker 1: it's hard.
- 17:13Speaker 4: I mean, I guess right now, I guess it will
- 17:16Speaker 4: switch depending on what I'm in the mood for But
- 17:18Speaker 4: right now, it's a piece that Evil Uno just purchased,
- 17:22Speaker 4: and it's the Batmobile, the Batmobile from the animated series.
- 17:25Speaker 1: No in the box. I've been looking for that for
- 17:28Speaker 1: a very long time. Great batmobile.
- 17:30Speaker 4: I will fight him in a ladder match if need be.
- 17:34Speaker 4: Put that fuck comings into a dark put it up there.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I will wrestle them for it.
- 17:40Speaker 3: That's a great it's it's actually I think it's my
- 17:42Speaker 3: second favorite batmobile.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I like the eighty nine Batmobile.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Well I wasn't alive for that, right, God, seriously, I
- 17:50Speaker 3: was born in ninety I had no idea Brian Chair
- 17:54Speaker 3: is out of all this is a great question. Out
- 17:55Speaker 3: of all your gear, which would you choose if you
- 17:59Speaker 3: were making figures of you and Max, so you got
- 18:01Speaker 3: figures coming out, what if you could pick?
- 18:07Speaker 4: So I think the figure the gear that they selected
- 18:10Speaker 4: was our first initial Was it our first pink set?
- 18:18Speaker 1: No, it wasn't.
- 18:20Speaker 4: I think I would personally pick the all out gear
- 18:25Speaker 4: right now because that was the I guess the match
- 18:28Speaker 4: that kind of cemented us as established.
- 18:31Speaker 1: What was that? It was? The I think it was white, yeah,
- 18:36Speaker 1: white and pink. It was a mostly white color. Scheme.
- 18:39Speaker 4: I would definitely have that and maybe have it as
- 18:42Speaker 4: like a two pack or three pack with Billy, like
- 18:45Speaker 4: the all out gear for both of us.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Because you guys talked about like you know, obviously Max
- 18:51Speaker 3: needs to come with a chain and a microphone, although
- 18:56Speaker 3: I suppose you could come with a microphone too, because
- 18:57Speaker 3: you're part of that open Have you thought about like
- 19:01Speaker 3: a piece, like what's what's going in there?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Do you need you?
- 19:03Speaker 4: Well, you guys have we need scissor fingers. I think
- 19:06Speaker 4: I came out with a boombox for about two years.
- 19:08Speaker 4: I'm just too lazy to carry it now to the boombox, Yeah,
- 19:12Speaker 4: it's hard to scissor people with that heavy ass boombox.
- 19:15Speaker 1: That's classic. I think you need a bones boombox.
- 19:17Speaker 4: You're right, boombox casters got to have the chain, the microphone,
- 19:20Speaker 4: and the headphones. And then do you wear an entrance
- 19:22Speaker 4: jacket or you just shirtless the vest you wear a vest?
- 19:26Speaker 1: Okay? Women might need the vest.
- 19:27Speaker 4: And the vest, yes, absolutely, Okay.
- 19:33Speaker 3: What is your favorite toy from your childhood that you
- 19:37Speaker 3: do not currently have in your collection? And ps, I
- 19:40Speaker 3: love Anthony Bones and Ethan Pages toyots. By the way,
- 19:43Speaker 3: I meant to mention this earlier. I don't know about you,
- 19:45Speaker 3: but I feel like when I get recognized in public,
- 19:47Speaker 3: it's thirty percent aw national television, thirty percent major wrestling
- 19:52Speaker 3: figure podcast and Ethan Pages.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Hey, I know you from the Ethan Pages of Fogs.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I'm like, not the TV.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Show, Oh I told you a lot of a lot
- 20:03Speaker 4: of the meet and greets, it's always, oh, you know,
- 20:05Speaker 4: we love the acclaim, but oh we loved you on
- 20:07Speaker 4: the toy flog. So it's almost as much as just
- 20:12Speaker 4: as them watching the show, which is very very interesting.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Well, people that go to meet and greets when you
- 20:16Speaker 3: really think about it, people that go to meet and greets.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Are collectors and that makes sense.
- 20:21Speaker 3: And then collectors, you know, are our fans and also
- 20:25Speaker 3: Ethan Pages fan, so it all sort of it's the
- 20:27Speaker 3: same world.
- 20:28Speaker 1: It makes sense. And what was the question again? Oh? Sorry?
- 20:30Speaker 3: So yeah, So what's your favorite toy from Chilote that.
- 20:33Speaker 1: You don't have and I don't have?
- 20:37Speaker 3: I guess the one that you're looking for, or maybe
- 20:38Speaker 3: the one that you do.
- 20:40Speaker 4: I mean, there's a couple of things that I'm looking for.
- 20:42Speaker 4: The batmobile, there's a micro Machines van that I go, oh,
- 20:45Speaker 4: you still don't have that.
- 20:45Speaker 1: They don't have it. I want it new in the box.
- 20:47Speaker 4: I found it at the Toyhio, but it was kind
- 20:49Speaker 4: of eh, it was missing some things.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I want that completely new.
- 20:55Speaker 4: I got to pick up the I think it was
- 20:57Speaker 4: a match box car wash.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I used to have. That used to be one of
- 21:03Speaker 1: my favorite toys growing up.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Oh yeah, you know I've had that early, so much fun.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I think they re released it many times throughout.
- 21:12Speaker 3: It was in the eighties nineties.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Yeah, and there's some like random things that like I
- 21:16Speaker 4: wouldn't be excited to have, but it would just be cool.
- 21:20Speaker 4: Excuse me to see it again because I used to
- 21:23Speaker 4: use it so much as like random, like not as scenn.
- 21:27Speaker 4: There used to be like stuff on the the like
- 21:29Speaker 4: commercials that you'd have to only purchase through the commercial
- 21:32Speaker 4: with dial this number yeah blah blah blah. And I
- 21:36Speaker 4: forgot what it was like this storage thing that you
- 21:38Speaker 4: would roll up and you as it would roll out.
- 21:41Speaker 4: It had different compartments for different toys and stuff like.
- 21:44Speaker 1: That cool or sort of ringing a bell. I can't picture.
- 21:48Speaker 1: I can't remember. There's so many different things.
- 21:52Speaker 3: This is a terrible question Nick Jonas, how did you
- 21:55Speaker 3: learn how to wrap?
- 21:56Speaker 1: Nick Jonas? And what were your musical influences? Acclaimed, Oh guy,
- 22:03Speaker 1: Sir Josh Baker.
- 22:06Speaker 3: If you could be put into any classic toy line,
- 22:09Speaker 3: what would it be?
- 22:10Speaker 1: Phone crunching? I mean really, I put me in one
- 22:13Speaker 1: of the super as opposed to being a Power Ranger.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Yeah, actually because I can just they have the new
- 22:19Speaker 4: mix and now where you can buy you can make
- 22:22Speaker 4: yourself a powering direct figure.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that's a thing.
- 22:25Speaker 3: That just got his Ghostbuster back. It couldn't be worse. Okay,
- 22:29Speaker 3: I won't do that then, So you'd be probably better
- 22:33Speaker 3: off getting a Power Ranger, having somebody three D print
- 22:36Speaker 3: your face and then somebody painted and.
- 22:38Speaker 4: It would be I think that as professional as they
- 22:40Speaker 4: would be better at it than somebody else.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Well, I think that, like it's like mass produced. You know,
- 22:48Speaker 3: they're only charging a certain amount of money. It's it's
- 22:51Speaker 3: pretty cheap considering you're getting a figure of yourself. It's
- 22:56Speaker 3: not a really good scan process. You just take a
- 22:58Speaker 3: picture with your phone, so there's shadows, like Matt had
- 23:02Speaker 3: a shadow on his face that that like they kept in.
- 23:06Speaker 3: It's terrible. It's not great, but like somebody who would
- 23:10Speaker 3: three D print your face is taking very care to
- 23:16Speaker 3: you know, three D design your face on their computer
- 23:18Speaker 3: then print it out, and then whoever paints it is
- 23:22Speaker 3: talent is probably talented, so they will put all the
- 23:24Speaker 3: details in. I have some smart mark sternly heads that
- 23:27Speaker 3: probably will be better than any head that I would
- 23:29Speaker 3: have on a mass produced figure.
- 23:32Speaker 4: So anyway, well I won't be doing that, so i'd
- 23:34Speaker 4: be a bone crunching figure.
- 23:35Speaker 1: You can.
- 23:37Speaker 3: There's a did you know that there's lines right now
- 23:40Speaker 3: that are remaking bone crutters?
- 23:42Speaker 1: Yes?
- 23:42Speaker 4: I forgot who I saw and I was like, that's
- 23:44Speaker 4: a bone cruncher, and then I realized it was new.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Yes, Ultimate Dragons coming out with the dragon. Yeah, that's
- 23:51Speaker 1: who I saw, but I know the legality.
- 23:53Speaker 3: But maybe you can get a Anthony Bones.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Well, I used to pretend I was the Series five
- 24:00Speaker 4: Rocky My Vida because that was the closest to skin.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Tone I can find sure that was.
- 24:05Speaker 4: That was not the rock for me. That was Anthony Bowen.
- 24:07Speaker 4: So I'm very excited for when Unrivaled drops next year
- 24:13Speaker 4: to put that right next to my My My Anthony
- 24:16Speaker 4: Bowen's Rocky My Vida figure.
- 24:18Speaker 3: That's great, that's great. You know what's funny, I never
- 24:21Speaker 3: used a mark. I never really saw myself as a wrestler.
- 24:26Speaker 3: I never saw myself as doing it. I always, most
- 24:29Speaker 3: of my life thought I saw myself behind the camera.
- 24:31Speaker 1: So huh, I might have to do tribute gear to
- 24:35Speaker 1: that figure.
- 24:36Speaker 4: That's true, because then I would have that figure and
- 24:40Speaker 4: then bro, I just I'm just thinking about it right now.
- 24:42Speaker 3: You post that picture and then say it in a
- 24:44Speaker 3: tweet and it's gonna be viral. Yeah, one hundred thousand
- 24:47Speaker 3: likes on it, John Swallow, What are some of the
- 24:53Speaker 3: Power Ranger pieces you are.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Missing that I am missing?
- 24:59Speaker 4: I and missing really everything from Zeo through Power Rangers
- 25:06Speaker 4: in Space. I bought back a lot of the original
- 25:08Speaker 4: Mighty morph and stuff, and a lot of the legacy
- 25:11Speaker 4: figures that came out or the Megazords, so I got
- 25:16Speaker 4: back the you know, I have two sets of the
- 25:18Speaker 4: original Dinozord. I got the Dragons or and then I
- 25:20Speaker 4: have the legacy versions of them. But I need to
- 25:23Speaker 4: get that Turbo. I love the Turbo Megazord. I need
- 25:28Speaker 4: to get the Power Rangers in Space, the blue one
- 25:32Speaker 4: that kind of the spaceship that opens up into the
- 25:34Speaker 4: actual dude Megazort. I wasn't really a fan of Power
- 25:38Speaker 4: Rangers Zeo, so I don't really want any of them back.
- 25:42Speaker 4: Oh yeah, oh, and then the Showgun Megazord.
- 25:45Speaker 1: That was one of my favorites. I need to get
- 25:48Speaker 1: that back at almost immediately.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Did you dabble in like the reproductions like Super Seven
- 25:53Speaker 3: has some great ones coming out, Hasbro's Got the Lightning Condition.
- 25:57Speaker 4: I stopped after the Legacy set came out because then
- 26:02Speaker 4: if I kept going, it would just would be at
- 26:05Speaker 4: the time I'd have no money.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Now I'd be like, yeah, you can rebuy them Pylon,
- 26:10Speaker 1: But back then I was like, I just I can't
- 26:12Speaker 1: afford this.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Do you have one wrestler that you would say that
- 26:15Speaker 3: that inspired you or influenced your career?
- 26:19Speaker 4: Johnny JB by the way, Hello, Yeah, I mean Sting
- 26:23Speaker 4: was the first guy that got me in the pro
- 26:24Speaker 4: wrestling Relliant. You got the wrestling, and I got to
- 26:27Speaker 4: wrestle him nice. I got to main event Nina Mite
- 26:29Speaker 4: with him in Washington, d C.
- 26:31Speaker 1: On my ninth.
- 26:32Speaker 4: Anniversary as a wrestler, which was also the same city
- 26:36Speaker 4: of the first match that I saw Sting wrestle hopefully
- 26:39Speaker 4: star K ninety seven against Hogan.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Wow did you tweet that? I think so? Did you
- 26:44Speaker 1: get a million? No?
- 26:46Speaker 4: I've mentioned a few times in interviews, but Sting and
- 26:50Speaker 4: then as I got a little bit older, probably Jeff
- 26:54Speaker 4: Hardy because I was a very shy, introverted kid and
- 26:56Speaker 4: I still am in certain ways, and him, you know,
- 26:59Speaker 4: just being Jeff.
- 27:00Speaker 1: I was like, Wow, you know.
- 27:02Speaker 4: He's being himself and cool and he doesn't give a
- 27:04Speaker 4: shit about anything like that's really cool.
- 27:06Speaker 1: So I'd probably stinging.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Jeff, Wow, that's cool. Robert Tamburrow. It's crazy to me
- 27:14Speaker 3: because I know the ins and outs of this, But
- 27:16Speaker 3: what is the origin story of the scissoring?
- 27:19Speaker 4: The origin of the scissoring is uh a one dark
- 27:23Speaker 4: Back in the pandemic of Daily's Place, I was doing
- 27:25Speaker 4: the we want to match, and I was doing the
- 27:27Speaker 4: acclaimed hand symbol with the A, the two fingers.
- 27:30Speaker 3: A down yes, two fingers down.
- 27:32Speaker 4: A two fingers down A and Castor was always trying
- 27:35Speaker 4: to find ways to rib me. So he came up
- 27:38Speaker 4: from behind and he scissored me. And there is a
- 27:41Speaker 4: clear shot of me going yes and looking at him
- 27:45Speaker 4: and kind of laughing, and because I was. When I
- 27:48Speaker 4: first came in, I was playing everything super safe and
- 27:51Speaker 4: I was mortified that they were gonna like fire everything
- 27:53Speaker 4: we're gonna do at the burna Fyrus.
- 27:56Speaker 1: And he was.
- 27:57Speaker 3: He's just the kind of guy he would. He wants
- 28:01Speaker 3: to rib you, he wants to have fun exactly. He
- 28:03Speaker 3: wants to push the envelope. He wants to push people's buttons.
- 28:08Speaker 3: I call it the cast Or Special where he's just
- 28:11Speaker 3: doing a bit that's only funny to him, but it
- 28:14Speaker 3: doesn't matter.
- 28:16Speaker 1: It's very accurate. But I think actually he's very funny.
- 28:20Speaker 4: I enjoy cracking jokes with him, and now that I
- 28:23Speaker 4: am a lot more relaxed in myself at work, I
- 28:25Speaker 4: can give it right back to him, or I could
- 28:28Speaker 4: play off of them because I'm just it's fun.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Yes, And you know, I'd say I'm also a similar
- 28:34Speaker 3: kind of person, the safe You know, I take the
- 28:37Speaker 3: safe route usually, and I've always I've told Castor don't
- 28:42Speaker 3: do it so many times and it ended up being
- 28:45Speaker 3: the most important things that he's done, you know what
- 28:48Speaker 3: I'm saying. So at this point when he asks if
- 28:51Speaker 3: he'd ask like my thought on something, I would say
- 28:54Speaker 3: I think this, but I'm always wrong anyway, Just do it.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I think we I always say we have evened
- 29:01Speaker 4: each other out in the best ways possible because he
- 29:05Speaker 4: he would really push buttons, and I think I pulled
- 29:08Speaker 4: him back to be a little bit not safer, but.
- 29:15Speaker 1: I know, in front of TV.
- 29:16Speaker 4: And then he took me from being a very reserved,
- 29:18Speaker 4: kind of shy, safe performer to shaking me a little
- 29:22Speaker 4: bit and going like you need to take some risks.
- 29:24Speaker 4: So I think it's been a perfect uh relationship, tact
- 29:29Speaker 4: or partner over the last two years.
- 29:31Speaker 3: I agree, and I was first front road to see it.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Robert Tamborrough, would you rather eat five pounds of asparagus
- 29:37Speaker 3: or Brussels Sprout's ough?
- 29:40Speaker 4: Asparagus? Really, I don't like Brussels sprouts. I'm in and
- 29:43Speaker 4: Michael makes a lot of asparagus.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Make your peace smell so bad? Brian lyons, what's the
- 29:51Speaker 3: weirdest location you've ever been asked to scissor at while
- 29:56Speaker 3: you're peeing in a bathroom?
- 29:58Speaker 4: I have been scissored in a men's bathroom at the airport,
- 30:02Speaker 4: gym's hotels. I'm gonna use this in a promo at
- 30:08Speaker 4: some point, but I scissored a man to tears at
- 30:11Speaker 4: Mohegan Sun.
- 30:16Speaker 1: I don't know when.
- 30:16Speaker 4: I'm gonna say it, but I'm gonna say it. Because
- 30:18Speaker 4: I scissored, I'm gonna start crying. And I actually hook watched,
- 30:22Speaker 4: so actually I might have to say that too, because
- 30:24Speaker 4: that's even funny. What was there, Bok was there to
- 30:26Speaker 4: witness this. This sounds like a great promo for television.
- 30:30Speaker 4: But yeah, those everywhere. I scissor everywhere. It's very, very fun.
- 30:34Speaker 4: I was at dinner the other night with with Michael
- 30:37Speaker 4: for my birthday and I was walking and all of
- 30:40Speaker 4: a sudden, you can't see what I'm doing, but as
- 30:43Speaker 4: I was walking by tables, I just sold two fingers
- 30:45Speaker 4: come up and I scissored a guy and just kept walking.
- 30:50Speaker 1: It's just the way it is.
- 30:51Speaker 3: It's great to have something like for the fans to like,
- 30:56Speaker 3: you know, want to do or come up to you with, right,
- 30:58Speaker 3: So like if you approach me or Matt or somebody
- 31:01Speaker 3: like like what are you actually you can say, hey,
- 31:03Speaker 3: you know I'm a fan or whatever. But the scissor
- 31:06Speaker 3: is just a quick sort of handshake and you don't
- 31:07Speaker 3: have to bother anybody and all that stuff to the
- 31:09Speaker 3: point where people now ask me to scissor. That's great, right,
- 31:13Speaker 3: but I say I'm legally not.
- 31:15Speaker 1: A lot, which is totally okay. It's a nice interaction, right.
- 31:18Speaker 1: You did try and steal it from us, No I didn't.
- 31:21Speaker 1: That didn't Was that your alter? You go? Yeah, oh okay.
- 31:23Speaker 3: That's the other smart mart thing. Camberl Raiam Cook says,
- 31:26Speaker 3: when are both of you coming back to Toy?
- 31:31Speaker 4: I would love to come back to toy because.
- 31:36Speaker 1: It was fun. It was really, really fun.
- 31:37Speaker 4: Rick's a great guy, and the people there were fantastic,
- 31:40Speaker 4: a lot of good energy the entire day, a lot
- 31:42Speaker 4: of good toys. I'm more than open to.
- 31:45Speaker 3: Coming back me too, and not drive with castors through
- 31:48Speaker 3: the night and sleep in our car.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Well. I don't know why you guys drove in the
- 31:51Speaker 1: first place.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Because we had to go to an event in New
- 31:54Speaker 3: York until like ten o'clock and.
- 31:55Speaker 1: There's no uh yes, the event.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Let's see here, okay, Michael Fries, I don't know if
- 32:06Speaker 3: the zad a line or not.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I don't think it is.
- 32:08Speaker 3: I apologize, but my question is as an openly gay
- 32:11Speaker 3: professional wrestler.
- 32:12Speaker 4: Out of line, as a gay professional wrestler.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Have you ever felt pressure to make that aspect of
- 32:18Speaker 3: your life a large slash larger aspect of your character.
- 32:21Speaker 3: I think we've had this conversation before, just sort of
- 32:25Speaker 3: just generally speaking about it.
- 32:28Speaker 4: No no pressure, I think I think that's one of
- 32:31Speaker 4: the best things about AEW is that Tony and you know,
- 32:35Speaker 4: the management here allows you to just be yourself, whatever
- 32:38Speaker 4: that may be. You know, if that is a part
- 32:40Speaker 4: of I guess your presentation of who you are, then absolutely,
- 32:45Speaker 4: I'm just me. I'm Anthony Bowens. I'm a gay guy.
- 32:48Speaker 4: I'm a pro wrestler, I you know, and I am
- 32:51Speaker 4: the acclaims. I'm a guy who scissors and hypes up
- 32:53Speaker 4: Max Caster's raps, and I scissor Daddy asks and I
- 32:57Speaker 4: screamed the city and I have fun with the fans.
- 32:59Speaker 1: So I just I'm just me.
- 33:02Speaker 4: And if me being myself and out and successful every
- 33:07Speaker 4: week on TV helps others, then you know, I'm very
- 33:10Speaker 4: very very happy.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Right. No one's forcing me to do anything.
- 33:13Speaker 4: I'm not forced to play any kind of character written
- 33:15Speaker 4: in regards to it, which I don't think people should
- 33:19Speaker 4: be forced to do that because that's just kind of
- 33:21Speaker 4: playing upon demographics and stuff, which I'm not really a
- 33:24Speaker 4: fan of.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, your character shouldn't be necessarily that you're.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Gay or that you're black or whatever. It's just you. Yeah,
- 33:31Speaker 1: you know, you just happen to be those things.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Okay, Lane Dunstan says, what was your first wrestling personality? Like,
- 33:42Speaker 3: what was the first gimmick?
- 33:43Speaker 1: I was Anthony Vigilante. My dad's last name.
- 33:49Speaker 4: Is actually Vigilante, Santolo, Vigilante, holy Hard or Italian.
- 33:56Speaker 1: So I wanted to you know, my parents.
- 33:59Speaker 4: Are my biggest borters and my dad's like my best friend,
- 34:02Speaker 4: so I wanted to honor him when I first started wrestling,
- 34:05Speaker 4: because he was also wrestling fan since like the sixties,
- 34:09Speaker 4: and I was Anthony Vigilante.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I thought the A and the V would be great.
- 34:12Speaker 1: And then as a few months went.
- 34:13Speaker 4: On, I was like, eh, I don't not really feel
- 34:17Speaker 4: in this name, and I think I don't think Pat
- 34:18Speaker 4: did either, So I just went back to Anthony Bowen's.
- 34:22Speaker 4: And then the first like real gimmick as Anthony Bowens was.
- 34:27Speaker 4: I was in a group of four of us. We
- 34:30Speaker 4: were students at Creator Pro. It wasn't Creative Pro back then.
- 34:35Speaker 4: It was a different name. But we were four students
- 34:37Speaker 4: who were at the top of the pack at the
- 34:38Speaker 4: class and we wanted to break away from our evil teacher,
- 34:42Speaker 4: Pat Buck and show them that we didn't need him anymore,
- 34:44Speaker 4: and we became the untouchables.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Oh I didn't do that, Yeah, myself, Chris Payne, Ac Gamble,
- 34:50Speaker 1: and Bobby Wayward. I don't I know all of them
- 34:53Speaker 1: except for ac Gamble A C. Gamble. Really he got
- 34:56Speaker 1: hurt a bunch of times. Great dude.
- 34:59Speaker 4: Really added a pretty good mind for like for the
- 35:02Speaker 4: amount of time he was doing it, and always very
- 35:03Speaker 4: good with psychology. He was my tag partner for the
- 35:06Speaker 4: first couple of years. I think if he didn't get
- 35:09Speaker 4: hurt and he's stuck with it, I think he started
- 35:11Speaker 4: a family as well.
- 35:13Speaker 1: He what about decently far I always I always said
- 35:17Speaker 1: that about we had a kid, Vinnie Spanno. He was
- 35:19Speaker 1: with us in the beginning, Remember Vinnie. I always thought
- 35:21Speaker 1: he was could have made it. Remember I thought I
- 35:25Speaker 1: was the whatever you call it.
- 35:26Speaker 4: That was the first match at CAP when everybody was
- 35:28Speaker 4: oh yeah, it was me and the lifeguard. I'm pretty
- 35:32Speaker 4: sure Castor was in the crowd. Castor was there. Vinie
- 35:35Speaker 4: was there, yeah, he was. I think Bronson was there.
- 35:38Speaker 3: He was like an open house and it was like
- 35:40Speaker 3: a showcase.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a couple of matches, Brian and pat
- 35:43Speaker 3: rustled mm hmm, that's cool. What do you do in
- 35:48Speaker 3: your freedom free time? Angela Angelica Mancini.
- 35:52Speaker 4: It depends on how busy our schedule is with a
- 35:54Speaker 4: e W. If it is a busy schedule, when I
- 35:57Speaker 4: get home, I am cuddling on the couch with my
- 36:00Speaker 4: boyfriend and watching Netflix and going to the gym, and
- 36:03Speaker 4: I am not going anywhere. If I have free time,
- 36:05Speaker 4: then we.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Are going to Hollywood elite parties. We do that from
- 36:10Speaker 3: time to time.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Beach.
- 36:15Speaker 4: We like to go try different restaurants and grab food
- 36:19Speaker 4: and explore and pretty much anything. Right now, it's just
- 36:23Speaker 4: been looking for a place to buy to call our own.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Oh that's cool.
- 36:27Speaker 3: I actually I say this is my wife all the time.
- 36:30Speaker 3: I love looking at houses.
- 36:32Speaker 1: It's stressful, but it's so much fun. I'm like, huh,
- 36:36Speaker 1: this is nice.
- 36:37Speaker 3: It's like one of those like kind of crappy life
- 36:39Speaker 3: things that you have to do that I would actually
- 36:41Speaker 3: be excited to do. And we did it a bunch
- 36:43Speaker 3: so many times in the last ten years. You know,
- 36:46Speaker 3: we moved four times, so you know there's four different
- 36:49Speaker 3: periods that we were like looking for houses and stuff.
- 36:51Speaker 4: But I experienced my first heartbreak two weeks ago because
- 36:55Speaker 4: we put in an offer. It was legitimately if you
- 36:58Speaker 4: got in the car from our current place and forty
- 37:00Speaker 4: five seconds down the street. Oh, it was like it
- 37:05Speaker 4: wouldn't have been the forever like home, but it was
- 37:08Speaker 4: like it would have been a dream to live in.
- 37:10Speaker 4: And we made it to the final two and then
- 37:12Speaker 4: the guy went in with cash and they were just like,
- 37:16Speaker 4: it's off bow and we want the cash.
- 37:18Speaker 3: I never get that because it's like the loans go through.
- 37:21Speaker 3: It's the person getting the money doesn't have to deal
- 37:23Speaker 3: with the loans. They just they get cash in their bank.
- 37:26Speaker 4: So apparently there's an extra process using a loan that's
- 37:30Speaker 4: I don't want to go.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Through or something. Right, do you have to have the
- 37:32Speaker 1: bank there and stuff on the clothing? All right, we're
- 37:35Speaker 1: winding down here.
- 37:37Speaker 3: Favorite Christmas present as a kid.
- 37:41Speaker 4: Oh that one's hard because I truthfully, again, like I
- 37:48Speaker 4: said earlier, I was the only child, so I was
- 37:49Speaker 4: very I don't want to say I was spoiled because
- 37:53Speaker 4: I was a good kid that quite frankly deserved it.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Like I didn't do anything wrong. I never gave any
- 37:59Speaker 1: of my parents' trable.
- 38:00Speaker 4: I got good grades, I did what they asked me to,
- 38:02Speaker 4: and they rewarded me with, you know, wrestling toys.
- 38:05Speaker 1: So there's nothing specific. There's not a specific one.
- 38:09Speaker 4: But my best memory is probably Christmas two thousand or
- 38:14Speaker 4: two thousand and one of me and my little cousins.
- 38:17Speaker 4: We had so many gifts that you couldn't open the.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Front door to my aunt's house.
- 38:22Speaker 4: My god, it was the living room, the tree, and
- 38:24Speaker 4: it was I wish I could find a photo of
- 38:26Speaker 4: it because it was asinine.
- 38:28Speaker 1: It took us a good few hours to get through.
- 38:30Speaker 4: Everything and clean it up because there was just like
- 38:33Speaker 4: barbies for my cousins and wrestlers and everything everywhere.
- 38:36Speaker 1: That's great.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Were you known as like the family as the kid
- 38:40Speaker 3: who loved wrestling or the wrestling kid or they.
- 38:42Speaker 1: All knew it? Oh yeah, yeah, because that's all I watched.
- 38:46Speaker 4: It was just wrestling, wrestling, wrestling, And then they would
- 38:48Speaker 4: my aunt would always get me tickets to UH when
- 38:50Speaker 4: they were at ISAAC or Continent of the Airlines arena.
- 38:53Speaker 1: So we're always going to shows that.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, Ronnie Bosh says, I'm sure you're super busy
- 39:00Speaker 3: these days. But I actually first saw you on your
- 39:03Speaker 3: YouTube channel doing parodies ninety Day Fiance. Have you kept
- 39:07Speaker 3: up with ninety Day or other shows you would parody
- 39:10Speaker 3: like Love Is Blind? If so, are there any couples
- 39:13Speaker 3: the two of you would like the parody that you haven't?
- 39:16Speaker 1: We still watch ninety Day Fiance.
- 39:18Speaker 4: We actually just caught up on the latest Happily Ever
- 39:21Speaker 4: After season and a lot of times our we want
- 39:26Speaker 4: to do a lot of couples, but our issue is
- 39:28Speaker 4: a lot.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Of times, well not a lot of times.
- 39:30Speaker 4: All the time the couples are ones from America, the
- 39:33Speaker 4: other one is from a different country, and you have
- 39:35Speaker 4: to find the line between parody and getting canceled.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Making fun of the ACCIENTI yeah, yeah, so like you
- 39:45Speaker 1: can do it. You have to find a way to
- 39:46Speaker 1: do it.
- 39:47Speaker 4: We like to be accurate because Michael specifically, he's very
- 39:50Speaker 4: very good at impressions. He can find a wig and
- 39:52Speaker 4: do make up and be transform himself into this person
- 39:56Speaker 4: and do the impression of these women like yeah, beautifully,
- 40:00Speaker 4: you're even.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Most guys.
- 40:03Speaker 4: Like He's really good and a lot of times he
- 40:06Speaker 4: has to do somewhat of an accent. So we have
- 40:08Speaker 4: to figure out how to do it tastefully and the
- 40:11Speaker 4: whole thing tastefully too, because like we actually became decent
- 40:14Speaker 4: friends or acquaintances via Instagram with most of the people
- 40:18Speaker 4: that we've parodied because they appreciated it that we weren't
- 40:21Speaker 4: actually making fun of them. We were just kind of
- 40:24Speaker 4: poking fun of how the show's edited and how they
- 40:26Speaker 4: were presented. So we don't want to be mean spirited.
- 40:29Speaker 4: We just want to make fun of the show, yea.
- 40:31Speaker 4: So we have to figure out ways to do it tastefully,
- 40:36Speaker 4: and we I think there's a couple on there call
- 40:40Speaker 4: His name is Balal and his wife's name is Shida,
- 40:43Speaker 4: and she's from Trinidad and she has she has a great,
- 40:47Speaker 4: great accent. But there's certain things that we can kind of,
- 40:51Speaker 4: you know, play up on, which I don't know if
- 40:55Speaker 4: it is tasteful for you know, twenty twenty three coming up.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Okay, we have to figure that out.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Got it all right? I got a great last question.
- 41:07Speaker 3: What is your mount rushmore of action? Figure lines.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Four? Figure four figure.
- 41:14Speaker 4: Lines bone crunching, yep, I was a big fit of
- 41:21Speaker 4: deluxe aggression.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Okay, oh wow, I didn't even know you went that far.
- 41:26Speaker 4: Okay, I don't think many people enjoyed them. But the
- 41:32Speaker 4: finishing Moves set, I really liked them, except for I
- 41:37Speaker 4: think I it was a triple h's head because his
- 41:40Speaker 4: was straight.
- 41:43Speaker 1: I hated that part.
- 41:44Speaker 4: But it was a great, very articulated, yes, because you
- 41:46Speaker 4: could do pretty much everything that Jeff Hardy was great
- 41:48Speaker 4: because you'd a nice swan to on bomb because his
- 41:50Speaker 4: neck would actually move. That's three, right, The fourth one I.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Think you might just wrestling. Oh no, oh well yeah,
- 42:01Speaker 1: it's gotta be Powerringers.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, for sure, that original.
- 42:06Speaker 4: The head head slippers were great. Obviously, all the Megazord
- 42:12Speaker 4: sets were great.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Actually think the first Power Rangers stunk. They were kind
- 42:15Speaker 3: of big and they were not articular.
- 42:17Speaker 1: The big ones. Yeah, I didn't like those. Yeah, I
- 42:19Speaker 1: bypassed them.
- 42:20Speaker 3: Then once you got the head flippers, there were at
- 42:22Speaker 3: least move their knees and arms and stuff, so that
- 42:24Speaker 3: were good.
- 42:25Speaker 4: Yeah, there's everything the Power Rangers came out with. I
- 42:27Speaker 4: loved it was just all the random ship that they had. Actually,
- 42:31Speaker 4: what I got to buy back is the gloves. Oh yeah,
- 42:34Speaker 4: I think we were. I think I talked to Ethan
- 42:37Speaker 4: about it, but I had the I think it was
- 42:39Speaker 4: the Blue Ranger gloves, but I started to realize that
- 42:42Speaker 4: they had the whole set of them, so I think
- 42:44Speaker 4: I need to get those.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Yeah, because we're gonna buy it at one store.
- 42:49Speaker 4: And then he kind of gave me the idy that
- 42:50Speaker 4: the guy was overpricing it because I didn't know what
- 42:53Speaker 4: the price points were on it, and he told me
- 42:55Speaker 4: not to get it, so I didn't get it.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah, he's pretty knowledgeable with the Power Rangers vintage stuff. Yeah,
- 42:59Speaker 1: so I get a I'll end that one with Power Rangers.
- 43:02Speaker 1: All right.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Well, man, this was fun. I think people knew that
- 43:06Speaker 3: you were a collector. I don't think that they knew
- 43:09Speaker 3: this much. I didn't even know. And we're friends, so
- 43:13Speaker 3: this has been really cool, sort of eye opening. I
- 43:15Speaker 3: appreciate you doing this for our Patreon. I think that
- 43:17Speaker 3: you'll get a lot of people coming up to you
- 43:20Speaker 3: at signings about.
- 43:21Speaker 1: This, you know, I hope so.
- 43:22Speaker 4: And if you need me to talk on the actual
- 43:26Speaker 4: major figure pod y, yeah, we'll do it.
- 43:28Speaker 1: I'd love to speak to all of you absolutely. All right, man,
