- 0:03Speaker 1: Right, Weather's joining us right now, you have the same
- 0:05Speaker 1: hat on your you know everything. He already knows all
- 0:09Speaker 1: the answers to the test.
- 0:10Speaker 2: So I'm going to bring up the same question. First
- 0:13Speaker 2: question I asked him. Yes, the first off, good to
- 0:16Speaker 2: see you again. Right, did you get a workout in today.
- 0:20Speaker 2: We're all fresh ready to go.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Oh yeah, absolutely, We've been going to the facility. So
- 0:26Speaker 3: we're all good now, all right, good, good.
- 0:28Speaker 2: So I'm bringing up the same question because I think
- 0:30Speaker 2: everybody needs to know how athletic your family is, from
- 0:34Speaker 2: your mother to.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Your two sisters to your brother in law. Explain everybody.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Don't forget his dad, forget about Dave.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Can chill out a little bit, but we all know
- 0:48Speaker 2: about Dave. What explain to us what your sisters, your mom,
- 0:51Speaker 2: your brother in law do or are doing, and how
- 0:55Speaker 2: you're the least athletic of the family.
- 0:59Speaker 4: So my mom played hoops at Belmont University. My oldest
- 1:05Speaker 4: of my younger sisters, she's playing hoops at Alabama. They
- 1:08Speaker 4: just beat Old mess last night top twenty one. My
- 1:13Speaker 4: youngest sister plays basketball at Freed Hardman inn Aiigh School
- 1:17Speaker 4: in Henderson, Tennessee. My wife played at the University of
- 1:21Speaker 4: Florida and volleyball. She played Team USA when she was younger.
- 1:26Speaker 4: She was I think the number one recruit for volleyball
- 1:29Speaker 4: in twenty eighteen. Her oldest brother played college basketball at
- 1:34Speaker 4: Anderson University and her younger brother plays basketball for the
- 1:38Speaker 4: Charlotte Hornets. And then her dad played basketball at Wofford
- 1:42Speaker 4: and her mom played basketball at College of Charleston Cowlee.
- 1:47Speaker 5: That is some sick I can't even well. First of all,
- 1:50Speaker 5: Todd interviewed Ryan last night, just last night for the
- 1:55Speaker 5: S Network. So that's what Todd father was talking about.
- 1:58Speaker 5: But where do you rank in there? I said, you're
- 2:00Speaker 5: the least athletic. Where do you rank in there? And
- 2:02Speaker 5: what sport do you go to? If you have the
- 2:05Speaker 5: Weather's Family Olympics that you're like, Okay, I got I
- 2:10Speaker 5: got a chance here.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean my I would say my wife and
- 2:15Speaker 4: my sister Albamra by far the two most competitive. They
- 2:20Speaker 4: both got all the jumping ability that skipped me. So
- 2:23Speaker 4: I ain't got any hops in me. I gotta pick
- 2:27Speaker 4: a sport. I'm gonna I'm gonna play golf. Most of
- 2:29Speaker 4: them can't pick up the club. And then I know
- 2:31Speaker 4: I can beat my dad every day of the week.
- 2:33Speaker 1: So.
- 2:35Speaker 5: Well, you're you can beat your dad. Does he know that?
- 2:38Speaker 5: And that's why you rob it in?
- 2:39Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, they build walmarts in between our drives.
- 2:43Speaker 5: So uh I was I wis we had a split
- 2:50Speaker 5: screen of him on here too, because there is some
- 2:53Speaker 5: there's some stormy weathers stories that I heard from other
- 2:57Speaker 5: guys that were rookies, Like your dad's much older than
- 3:00Speaker 5: I I am, but my generation of players came up
- 3:04Speaker 5: as like as rookies when your dad was on the team,
- 3:08Speaker 5: and some of the things that he did to some
- 3:09Speaker 5: of those guys are epic, Like I can't even talk
- 3:13Speaker 5: about on here, So we won't. We won't get to that.
- 3:16Speaker 5: We won't get to that. But what was this trade
- 3:20Speaker 5: like for you? What was this What was this opportunity?
- 3:23Speaker 5: Not opportunity, but more how did it come to? How
- 3:26Speaker 5: did you come to find out about it? How soon
- 3:29Speaker 5: was it like totally out of the blue? Did you
- 3:32Speaker 5: think there was a chance, did they give you an
- 3:34Speaker 5: inkling anything like that, you know.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Going to the off season obviously like any players available
- 3:42Speaker 4: for you know, whatever the team wants or whatever they need.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Once Cabrera got traded to the Cubs. You know, I
- 3:49Speaker 4: really thought that, you know, I was going to probably
- 3:51Speaker 4: stay put.
- 3:53Speaker 3: I love Miami. I love the Marlins.
- 3:55Speaker 4: You know, Kim and g traded for me in twenty
- 3:59Speaker 4: three for lack of better terms, when I wasn't throwing
- 4:01Speaker 4: the ball really well at all, and Miami really gave
- 4:04Speaker 4: me a shot to, like, you know, at.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Least give my feet wet.
- 4:06Speaker 4: I know, I haven't been healthy super long, but they
- 4:10Speaker 4: really allowed me to get my feet wet and learn
- 4:14Speaker 4: myself as a big league pitcher. So I always love
- 4:17Speaker 4: the Marlins and they always hold a special place in
- 4:19Speaker 4: my heart.
- 4:21Speaker 3: But yeah, the trade definitely caught me off guard.
- 4:24Speaker 4: But the opportunity, I mean, you get to play for
- 4:26Speaker 4: the Yankees, I mean the pinstripes from the most notable
- 4:29Speaker 4: pin stripes in all sports. I can't wait to pitch
- 4:32Speaker 4: a Yankee stadium. I love all the guys here, the
- 4:34Speaker 4: guy who treated me awesome. I've been down here for
- 4:36Speaker 4: about three weeks in Tampa, and literally almost the whole
- 4:40Speaker 4: team is here, so that just speaks to the culture
- 4:42Speaker 4: here and I'm super excited.
- 4:45Speaker 2: I want to talk a little about your arsenal here
- 4:47Speaker 2: a little bit. You have a lot of really good
- 4:49Speaker 2: swing and miss stuff. You you throw a really nice
- 4:52Speaker 2: fastball and good off speed, but are you are you
- 4:55Speaker 2: trying to tinker a little bit maybe with a little
- 4:57Speaker 2: two seam fastball action to get that little bit more
- 5:00Speaker 2: strikeout so you can get cooking now. I know as
- 5:02Speaker 2: a starter, now you could ticker with a few things
- 5:05Speaker 2: and get away with it.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Oh for sure.
- 5:08Speaker 4: I you know, I just I kind of throw a
- 5:09Speaker 4: traditional runner. I just don't I would.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Say my change ups kind of my go to.
- 5:14Speaker 4: So I don't want to throw a you know, a
- 5:15Speaker 4: one seamer or at two seam that gets in that area.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Like I wanted to say, it's on separate pitch. So
- 5:20Speaker 4: I'm just working on the left. He's throwing a little runner.
- 5:24Speaker 4: They can get in on the hands kind of be
- 5:26Speaker 4: at that belt line, just to kind of split the
- 5:27Speaker 4: plate in two with the two in the sweep, knowing
- 5:31Speaker 4: that I have the four at the top and the
- 5:32Speaker 4: change up below. You know, with the Yankees were tinkering
- 5:37Speaker 4: a little bit with like a little little small slider.
- 5:40Speaker 4: I threw it, as you can see right there, about
- 5:42Speaker 4: four percent last year. I just need to get a
- 5:44Speaker 4: little bit more depth on it. To get below a
- 5:46Speaker 4: barrel varieties, and I think we'll be in a good spot.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Have the Yankees talk to you about that, because they
- 5:51Speaker 5: have the lab down there and in Tampa, and have
- 5:54Speaker 5: they put you through some of those things or are
- 5:57Speaker 5: you still kind of like, Hey, once you build up
- 5:58Speaker 5: to a certain point, then we'll really start tinkering with that.
- 6:02Speaker 5: And if they did tinker with it, what does that
- 6:05Speaker 5: what does that look like for you? Is it hand placement?
- 6:07Speaker 5: Is extension?
- 6:10Speaker 3: I mean, it's just all hand placement.
- 6:12Speaker 5: You know.
- 6:12Speaker 4: We're working on the bullet slider. We have the colorful
- 6:15Speaker 4: baseballs where we draw like for the fastballs. We have
- 6:18Speaker 4: those sharpies on each side to see your four team spin.
- 6:20Speaker 4: We have sweeper sweeper spins, we have bullet slider spins,
- 6:24Speaker 4: change up spins, so we just I throw with them. Honestly, now,
- 6:28Speaker 4: I've never thrown with them. And I almost make every
- 6:31Speaker 4: single throw outside of pitching on the mound with the
- 6:34Speaker 4: baseball that has colors on it, so I can see
- 6:37Speaker 4: the spin of my ball, which is super helpful. So yeah,
- 6:42Speaker 4: we're in the lab right now. I got one ending
- 6:44Speaker 4: live tomorrow. I've been down here for about four or
- 6:46Speaker 4: five bullpens, a couple updowns, and everything's been going really well,
- 6:50Speaker 4: getting my foreseam to the outer lane varieties, which is
- 6:53Speaker 4: really huge from our arsenal to really establish the away lane.
- 6:56Speaker 4: I haven't been too good of that in my career,
- 6:58Speaker 4: especially the last couple of years, especially last year. So
- 7:01Speaker 4: the more I can get to that outer third, I
- 7:03Speaker 4: think it will help my arsenal a lot.
- 7:06Speaker 5: You have to explain the colored balls because and I
- 7:09Speaker 5: also want to go to your live and who you're
- 7:11Speaker 5: going to face, but explain the color balls to people
- 7:14Speaker 5: who don't understand. This isn't pitching ninja, so not all
- 7:17Speaker 5: of our fans necessarily know exactly what you're talking about.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Yeah, So essentially you just color for forcing fastball, you
- 7:24Speaker 4: would you would color the train tracks on each side,
- 7:27Speaker 4: and when you throw it, as it's the balls in flight,
- 7:30Speaker 4: you can just see if if the on each side,
- 7:33Speaker 4: if they're spinning just consecutively like that, you know it's
- 7:36Speaker 4: your four team's in a good spot. But sometimes if
- 7:38Speaker 4: you don't throw, if you don't click a force team,
- 7:40Speaker 4: that spin will get a little wonky and the lines
- 7:44Speaker 4: won't be as defined. So essentially, just in the in
- 7:46Speaker 4: ball flight you want to see the consecutive revolutions of
- 7:50Speaker 4: the fastball, the breaking ball, the change up, and you
- 7:53Speaker 4: want to see those colors on whatever side they may
- 7:55Speaker 4: be on, to just be as obviously you see them
- 7:58Speaker 4: as much as possible.
- 8:00Speaker 5: Yeah, So that's it's really it's it's like the most
- 8:03Speaker 5: genius hack on a baseball that not everybody thinks about
- 8:07Speaker 5: because some people are just worried about throwing strikes. Who
- 8:09Speaker 5: are you gonna face in your life? You said you're
- 8:11Speaker 5: thrown a live tomorrow, right, or you just threw a
- 8:13Speaker 5: live We're.
- 8:14Speaker 4: Gonna we're gonna find out tomorrow. I'm not sure I'm
- 8:16Speaker 4: facing yet, So I'm excited.
- 8:18Speaker 5: You know who's but you know who's in camp?
- 8:21Speaker 3: So who's camp? I mean, there'd just be a couple
- 8:24Speaker 3: of guys.
- 8:24Speaker 4: I'm gonna have to step on a live one, but
- 8:27Speaker 4: I don't know who I'm facing yet.
- 8:29Speaker 5: Who do you want to face? Because that's what that's
- 8:31Speaker 5: what live and everything like, you're kind of testing yourself.
- 8:34Speaker 5: You're not going live because you're like, I'm just trying
- 8:37Speaker 5: to feel it out. To me, I think that's kind
- 8:39Speaker 5: of like a like a soft approach. You're joining a
- 8:41Speaker 5: new team. I watched an interview the other day your
- 8:44Speaker 5: manager said, out of everybody, I'm really impressed with with
- 8:48Speaker 5: Ryan Weathers, Like, I'm really impressed with the way he's throwing,
- 8:50Speaker 5: the way he looks, best shape of his life, and
- 8:53Speaker 5: camp like that whole thing. But who do you want
- 8:55Speaker 5: to face that like sets that level of competition for you.
- 9:01Speaker 3: I mean, the obvious one is Judge.
- 9:02Speaker 4: I mean, he's the best player in the game, one
- 9:04Speaker 4: of the best players in the game. You know, it'd
- 9:07Speaker 4: be nice to face him when numbers aren't on the
- 9:10Speaker 4: line and we're on the backfields. It's a little bit
- 9:12Speaker 4: different when you're facing a Yankee stadium and you're on
- 9:15Speaker 4: the opposing team.
- 9:16Speaker 3: But I mean the lineup's great, just guys like that.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Obviously, I'd love to face some lefties just to work
- 9:21Speaker 4: on the two seamer, but probably Judge I'd be a good.
- 9:25Speaker 2: One, no doubt, no doubt. And I think you'd want
- 9:28Speaker 2: to face so, even though you face a bunch of
- 9:30Speaker 2: those guys before.
- 9:31Speaker 1: But it's it's a little different.
- 9:33Speaker 2: When you're on the mound, nobody's watching in the back
- 9:36Speaker 2: or wherever the heck you're doing it. It's like, here
- 9:39Speaker 2: we go Mano, I mono, I want to talk about
- 9:42Speaker 2: your haircut here. Man, I didn't get to ask you
- 9:44Speaker 2: last night. Is the why why you got.
- 9:47Speaker 3: You got nothing back here?
- 9:49Speaker 1: Wow?
- 9:50Speaker 2: That with that wife he telling you, I need, I need,
- 9:52Speaker 2: I need a little shape up here?
- 9:54Speaker 3: What do you got, dude. I've been I've been hurt
- 9:57Speaker 3: the last couple of years.
- 9:58Speaker 4: I was like, I'm just going to change it up
- 10:00Speaker 4: and go short hair and hopefully it helps me out.
- 10:03Speaker 3: But also I just want to I want to honor
- 10:04Speaker 3: the Yankees rules.
- 10:05Speaker 4: And you know, I know that they've you know, been
- 10:07Speaker 4: clean shaven and short hair. I know that that might
- 10:10Speaker 4: not be the rule now, but I just feel like it,
- 10:12Speaker 4: you know, to honor their code. And I'm just excited
- 10:15Speaker 4: to be a part of this organization. And you know,
- 10:17Speaker 4: I'm gonna do whatever I can to help them out.
- 10:20Speaker 5: I bet if you're not pitching, well, you're gonna get
- 10:21Speaker 5: that beer going a little bit. The hair is gonna
- 10:23Speaker 5: start coming out. I'm just saying. I'm just saying, feel good,
- 10:27Speaker 5: look good, play good. It all goes inside. But hey,
- 10:30Speaker 5: you know what you said, you want to change it
- 10:32Speaker 5: up a little bit. You only had eight starts. The
- 10:34Speaker 5: biggest thing nobody's ever said. Man, Ryan Weather stuff, his
- 10:37Speaker 5: stuff stinks. It's always the eights word health. How are
- 10:42Speaker 5: you going to change that up? Because that's like the
- 10:44Speaker 5: age old question. You make thirty two starts. You are
- 10:48Speaker 5: going to absolutely be one of the top dudes on
- 10:51Speaker 5: this team, even when Freed and Cole and Rodin are
- 10:54Speaker 5: all back healthy. How are you going to change that up?
- 10:57Speaker 5: And I know that's an off season goal for every player,
- 10:59Speaker 5: but it's especially a guy like you who's had.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Some issues for sure. One, I just you know, the
- 11:06Speaker 3: Lord's already blessed me.
- 11:07Speaker 4: If if it's if he sees fit that I stay healthy,
- 11:09Speaker 4: then you know that's his plan and there's nothing I
- 11:12Speaker 4: can do.
- 11:12Speaker 3: To change that.
- 11:14Speaker 4: But at least on my side, you know, I've really
- 11:16Speaker 4: changed a lot in the weight room.
- 11:18Speaker 3: My issue is not as much working hard as is
- 11:21Speaker 3: working smarter.
- 11:22Speaker 4: So just not going there and load enough a bar
- 11:24Speaker 4: on my back and lifting or deadlifting whatever it may be.
- 11:29Speaker 4: You know, I've really switched up a lot. And with
- 11:30Speaker 4: the Yankees too, uh. You know, Eric Kressey is one
- 11:33Speaker 4: of our head guys on the street side. You know,
- 11:35Speaker 4: he went through a movement assessment and just determining that,
- 11:38Speaker 4: you know, some some spots that I'm lacking in, you know,
- 11:41Speaker 4: whether it might be you know, my posture or anything
- 11:43Speaker 4: like that.
- 11:44Speaker 3: So we're changing that up.
- 11:46Speaker 4: And then you know, the last couple of years, it's
- 11:48Speaker 4: been weird, Like I can pitch through some like Nix
- 11:50Speaker 4: and bomps, I've just had a couple just weird injuries
- 11:53Speaker 4: where like I physically just cannot pitch through them. Because
- 11:56Speaker 4: I want to pride myself on being available and being
- 11:58Speaker 4: able to pitch. I've had a couple injuries where it's
- 12:01Speaker 4: they've been honestly minor, but to the point where I
- 12:04Speaker 4: can't pitch. Obviously, with the finger injury in twenty twenty four,
- 12:07Speaker 4: you know, nobody would ever think that my injury had
- 12:10Speaker 4: been a rock climbing incident injury. That's the only injuries
- 12:13Speaker 4: that that happens in is rock climbing, and that's something
- 12:16Speaker 4: that keeps me out for half the year. And then
- 12:18Speaker 4: last year just the weird day that we had in
- 12:20Speaker 4: Tampa with getting hit in the back of the head
- 12:22Speaker 4: and then in the third inning just not feeling normal.
- 12:25Speaker 4: You know, it's just something that you can't prep for.
- 12:28Speaker 4: But I'm gonna try my best to keep my body
- 12:31Speaker 4: in a good spot where I can perform on the field.
- 12:34Speaker 5: Take us to that time when you got hit from
- 12:36Speaker 5: the catcher on the throwdown, like like one of my
- 12:40Speaker 5: buddies got hit almost the exact same situation and he
- 12:43Speaker 5: thought somebody threw a ball from the stands. How much
- 12:46Speaker 5: did it surprise you in the sense that you were like,
- 12:49Speaker 5: oh my gosh, what just happened.
- 12:51Speaker 4: It's definitely weird. You know, it's stinks too, because Ford says,
- 12:55Speaker 4: now he's with Tampa, that's one of my boys, like
- 12:56Speaker 4: he's my dog. We go to breakfast and once again
- 12:59Speaker 4: there he's like still in between innings, like dude, I'm
- 13:01Speaker 4: so sorry. More you're gonna have to let it go,
- 13:03Speaker 4: Like I'm fine, but it just it's so weird. You
- 13:07Speaker 4: just like I think the what people that don't understand
- 13:10Speaker 4: is like in any sport, like once you get thrown off,
- 13:13Speaker 4: like you're you know what you're doing, Like I was
- 13:15Speaker 4: locked in, ready to go, and something like that that
- 13:19Speaker 4: just drastically just you know, shakes you and you try
- 13:23Speaker 4: to figure your way out.
- 13:25Speaker 3: It was just weird.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Obviously waking up or not waking up, but rolling over
- 13:28Speaker 4: and you're in a face full of dirt. That's kind
- 13:31Speaker 4: of a little bit weird. But you know, I was
- 13:34Speaker 4: able to get up and pitch, and you know, thankfully
- 13:37Speaker 4: the ball hit me a little bit on the top
- 13:39Speaker 4: of the head. If it would have been in the
- 13:40Speaker 4: back of the head, it could have been worse. But
- 13:43Speaker 4: I don't have any lingering effects from it. I wasn't
- 13:45Speaker 4: too smart with to begin with, so I think I'm.
- 13:47Speaker 5: All good, all right, But one last one here on
- 13:51Speaker 5: the change from the Marlins to the Yankees. Now, I
- 13:54Speaker 5: don't know if you were still active when the Marlins
- 13:57Speaker 5: instituted the bench calling, but as a pitcher, not just
- 14:03Speaker 5: a pitcher, but your dad pitched in the big leagues.
- 14:06Speaker 5: You've had a lot of pitching conversations. You were a
- 14:08Speaker 5: National Gatorade Pitcher Player of the Year. Like you you
- 14:12Speaker 5: have like an advanced knowledge of ball. How hard is
- 14:17Speaker 5: that to adjust to? And would you rather have it
- 14:19Speaker 5: called by the catcher than somebody from the bench?
- 14:24Speaker 3: For sure?
- 14:24Speaker 4: I think, like obviously, it's just it's different than anything
- 14:27Speaker 4: you've done, especially in pro ball. I think the thing
- 14:31Speaker 4: is you have to rise is the pitcher is like
- 14:34Speaker 4: the catcher's calling the pitch anyways. I know it's like
- 14:37Speaker 4: it's a bit different first, but if it's getting called
- 14:39Speaker 4: from the dugout, you know, it's still just a pitch call.
- 14:42Speaker 4: It doesn't mean that you have to throw that pitch
- 14:44Speaker 4: or you can't shake like it's still at the end
- 14:46Speaker 4: of the day, it's still just a suggestion. So I
- 14:48Speaker 4: think it's a pitcher like you still have to be
- 14:50Speaker 4: prepared and ready to go and know if that's not
- 14:54Speaker 4: the pitch you want, you have to know what you
- 14:56Speaker 4: want to go to, so you know there'll be like
- 15:00Speaker 4: kinks with it that will get worked out. I think
- 15:03Speaker 4: it's just you know, we had a couple of young
- 15:05Speaker 4: catchers to kind of get them, you know, investing in
- 15:08Speaker 4: the game and you know they they're hard workers. But
- 15:11Speaker 4: I know you call it and sometimes at first it
- 15:13Speaker 4: can be you know, the game, the speed of the
- 15:15Speaker 4: game is a little bit different, and I think that
- 15:17Speaker 4: they wanted to take a little bit off their plate
- 15:19Speaker 4: and wanted them to focus on other areas. And that's fine,
- 15:24Speaker 4: and so it's a picture. You know, you still have
- 15:26Speaker 4: to be locked on your scouting report and you know,
- 15:29Speaker 4: ready to rock and roll.
- 15:32Speaker 5: Are you ready? Are you ready for the abs. I'm
- 15:34Speaker 5: for everybody listening and not watching. I'm tapping my head.
- 15:38Speaker 5: Will you challenge a ball or strike call on the
- 15:42Speaker 5: mound or has Boonie already said not for you?
- 15:46Speaker 4: Whether, Yeah, we haven't had any meetings about that as
- 15:50Speaker 4: tough as a picture, because we want everything to be strike.
- 15:52Speaker 4: So if it's like up and down, I can like
- 15:56Speaker 4: judge that better. If it's a way and inside catcher's
- 15:59Speaker 4: hands so quick, I have no clue, but I'll make
- 16:03Speaker 4: sure my catcher is doing it over me because I
- 16:07Speaker 4: want everything to.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Be a strike.
- 16:10Speaker 6: It sounds like no pitchers are going to really get involved.
- 16:14Speaker 6: Everyone we've talked to about this has been like, no,
- 16:16Speaker 6: I'm not touching that. Do we actually think that's going
- 16:19Speaker 6: to be the case?
- 16:20Speaker 1: Crats? I mean, you're probably the best person out you
- 16:22Speaker 1: think so.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Yes, I think the smartest. I think maybe some of
- 16:26Speaker 5: the guys will try it out in spring training. But
- 16:28Speaker 5: I think exactly what what Weather said, what Ryan said,
- 16:31Speaker 5: like bro, like you're trying to make your pitch and
- 16:35Speaker 5: then you're like, did he did he move that?
- 16:38Speaker 1: Did he?
- 16:38Speaker 5: Like? You're deaking like the catchers sometimes Deacon the picture
- 16:42Speaker 5: not just the umpirelot that looks good.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Looks like you know it as well too, Like if
- 16:46Speaker 4: that box wasn't on the screen for a game, like
- 16:49Speaker 4: I've bet ninety five percent of the fans would have
- 16:51Speaker 4: no clue that if I was a striker at ball
- 16:53Speaker 4: and unless that box was up there.
- 16:55Speaker 3: So it's like we're the same thing on the mound,
- 16:57Speaker 3: Like y'all make a.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Pitch an out or half and it's like, oh hell, look,
- 17:00Speaker 4: and then you go back on the iPad. It's a
- 17:02Speaker 4: ball and a half off the plate and you're like,
- 17:04Speaker 4: thank god, I didn't rip a challenge there.
- 17:07Speaker 5: Yeah, no doubt. And that's you don't want to rip
- 17:09Speaker 5: a challenge away from the guy you're hoping to punch
- 17:11Speaker 5: out tomorrow and Judgy, So that's that's good, all right.
- 17:15Speaker 5: My last, my last comment, I mentioned it about your
- 17:17Speaker 5: dad doing some funny things. I won't mention what he did,
- 17:20Speaker 5: but for you and your pops, they used to call
- 17:23Speaker 5: your dad's stormy for stormy weathers. You need to ask
- 17:26Speaker 5: him about what he did to a man named Jason
- 17:30Speaker 5: Standrich his company. Okay, it was a rookie, all right.
- 17:35Speaker 5: If you know the story and then you don't even
- 17:37Speaker 5: need to ask Okay, good. I'm making a laugh. So
- 17:40Speaker 5: that's it. It might be too vulgar to have on
- 17:42Speaker 5: the show, but you already know the story, so we
- 17:44Speaker 5: don't need to. Okay, good, never mind, And that was
- 17:48Speaker 5: my only comment.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he's a sick puppy. That's all I got said.
- 17:55Speaker 6: Wait, is this story anywhere to be found online? Like
- 17:58Speaker 6: if I google it now, you.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Won't find it anywhere.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:05Speaker 5: It's one of those. It's one of those ones where
- 18:07Speaker 5: we have like, this is a players show, like we
- 18:10Speaker 5: like bringing the players part. But unless Stormy comes on,
- 18:13Speaker 5: unless David comes on, your dad comes on, it's just
- 18:16Speaker 5: one of those. Yep, we all we're all aware, we
- 18:19Speaker 5: know what it is.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Just don't mess with him.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Oh man, I would love to hear some what it's
- 18:26Speaker 2: probably done some stuff to you.
- 18:30Speaker 6: Oh yeah, Frankster locked and loaded.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Oh man, that's good.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Tell pops we all said, a man, we love them.
- 18:40Speaker 3: We'll do we'll do well.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Thanks for joining us. Really appreciate it.
- 18:45Speaker 6: You'll probably see too much of Todd Father this year,
- 18:47Speaker 6: but we appreciate the time.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Thank you. I appreciate it.
