Transcript
- 0:03Hi, everybody, welcome to tea time with Amy and Bev. Good day,
- 0:06good morning, good evening, and good night. No and my policy
- 0:12doing this, don't just keep talking Bev. It's okay. I'm sure I'll
- 0:16find something to talk about. So how are you doing. I'm doing well.
- 0:23Just I feel like I needed some more sleep, but that's okay because
- 0:28it's Sunday and I can take a nap, so I'm good. Nice.
- 0:32I'm like, all right, I just really took my pajama top off,
- 0:37put a couple of shirts on, so I'm hanging free, just so you
- 0:42know, and probably I don't really care. I'm just telling you. I
- 0:46did what I needed to do to show up. I did do my hair
- 0:49and makeup. I did that part. I did think about putting just a
- 0:52hat on, not even doing my hair, but I was like, I'll
- 0:56put more effort into it. It's funny that you're saying all that because I
- 1:02just threw on a necklace, so hey, that's it. You know why
- 1:06you have makeup on though, And I did brush my hair, so hey,
- 1:11it's a good thing. We're doing good. Right. You're welcome.
- 1:17Yeah, for everybody watching, You're welcome. That's right. So the reason
- 1:25why so people have an understanding. Yesterday I had a full day event and
- 1:30got up at I mean, now you share all the little intricate details.
- 1:37However, I got up at shoot around four am and went all day with
- 1:46an event that I had a workshop. So we started opening with a meditation
- 1:56at nine o'clock, which was sure, it was like fifteen minut it's meditation
- 2:00and setting intentions for the day, and then the event actually started at ten.
- 2:05So that workshop went from ten to four, with a couple breaks and
- 2:08lunch, and then we reconvened. So people who you know, chose the
- 2:15upgrade to choose to attend the evening piece that went from five and we ended
- 2:22at eight and then of course tearing everything down. So I got home I
- 2:29think a little after nine, and then to sit and kind of wind down
- 2:34for a few minutes. And when you're sitting there, fall asleep in your
- 2:36chair, you know it's time to go to bed. So I did get
- 2:40like over eight hours of sleep, which is typically unusual for me. I
- 2:45don't usually get that much. It's usually maybe six or seven. So getting
- 2:50over eight hours and they still feel like I needed to sleep a little bit
- 2:53longer. But again, I can take a nap today and it's okay,
- 2:57but just spending it's a lot of energy to be in the forefront and teaching
- 3:07all day. And you know, still even though I had some helpers,
- 3:12still making sure everything is lined up and doing the behind the scenes stuff,
- 3:17people talking to me about different things, holding the space for that many I
- 3:24had twenty seven people but the event, then the helpers, and then a
- 3:32couple vendors. So it just takes a lot of energy to do that for
- 3:39that length of time. And it's been the biggest event that I've facilitated.
- 3:46And when you do something like that, so first of all, in the
- 3:49process of doing it, I mean I've done other events similar but not of
- 3:55this caliber. And so I already had an idea of some of the things
- 4:00that needed to be done, and then there were some other things to learn
- 4:03along the way. So keeping notes of that, keeping you know, a
- 4:06spreadsheet and a checklist, and every time I thought about something, I put
- 4:11it on that list, so I made sure I remembered it. There were
- 4:14things that I you know, didn't give attention to, well didn't. It
- 4:18didn't come to the forefront of my brain until like like right now when the
- 4:24events happen and I'm like, oh, shoot, I didn't do that,
- 4:27and so I you know, last minute things that popped up and and uh
- 4:31so having to make a note of them, take care of them. And
- 4:35so it's like once you've done that process and things are set up, now
- 4:40I have something to refer to for the next for the next thing. Yeah,
- 4:46and so there's that piece. So the prep prep work and this.
- 4:56I've been prepping this since it started in October and we are in February,
- 5:01right. And then even though even if I didn't have other things going on
- 5:11in my life, meaning like a full time job and some other things,
- 5:15that amount of time would have been perfect. It would have been great.
- 5:18But when I have all these other things to tend to, I know,
- 5:25now, if I'm going to have that type of a schedule of these other
- 5:30things, I do need to give myself a little bit more time. Had
- 5:33I given myself a little bit more time, I thought I was giving myself
- 5:36enough time. Let me put it that way. I did think October and
- 5:41the events in February plenty of time. Right. Yeah, you would think
- 5:46honestly, like you said, you have a full time job and the full
- 5:49time. I mean, and then on my mind is thinking how much of
- 5:55our stuff has habits. But you're already you gave yourself, you a lot
- 5:58of an amount of time. That was generous, you know that, I
- 6:00would think. But then when you have a job and you have other things
- 6:03that are going on with that job that you have to kind of participate in
- 6:05on the weekends and a lot of other stuff, Yeah, it could be
- 6:10a lot. And there were some There were just a couple of things on
- 6:15my list that I wanted to do. But as it got closer, I
- 6:17just gave myself permission to be okay, to say I'm not doing it nice.
- 6:25It's not that crucial. It's not going to make or break the event.
- 6:28So I just like, nope, not doing that. Nope, not
- 6:30doing that. And that was super easy for me. And I have to
- 6:35say, in past, in past behaviors and programming, you know, the
- 6:42perfectionists and the people pleaser and the fixer and all the titles, right,
- 6:46all the roles that we take on in our life, I probably would have
- 6:50been a basket case doing this, But it was really with all the things
- 6:56that I am going on and planning this, it actually was fairly easy,
- 7:06and I didn't put a whole lot of pressure on myself about it, if
- 7:12that makes sense, and gave myself permission to be okay with how things unfolded
- 7:18and relaxed more into trusting the process of the universe. And I you know
- 7:27I've shared before, I have that statement. I say, I have all
- 7:30the time, space and energy I need to complete the tasks that need my
- 7:31attention every day. It was like that, It's okay, what do I
- 7:35want to focus on today? What do I got to get done? Now?
- 7:38I'm working a full time job, so in the evenings, get home,
- 7:42have dinner, and then work on this event. And so it would
- 7:47be two to four hours of that every night, and especially for the last
- 7:53two weeks before the event. I told my husband, and when people would
- 7:59ask me to go do things, I'm like, no, I got to
- 8:01focus on this all right. This is a priority to me. I have
- 8:05a room full of people coming and this is this is important, right,
- 8:13It's important me for me to show up in a way that is beneficial for
- 8:20them because they're coming for a transformation, a change in their life, to
- 8:24to to get some tools and learn how to do some things different. And
- 8:31so it's important. That was my focus. And so I would be invited,
- 8:35like after work to go have a drink or go hang out. I'm
- 8:39like, no, thank you. I like, you know, I'm not
- 8:43a big follower of football, but to go and hang out with friends and
- 8:48watch football game, I kind of enjoy that every once in a while.
- 8:52Nope, not doing that. I spent all last Sunday on the computer getting
- 8:56things done. So it's just, you know, time in time management is
- 9:01huge, and even just not when you're doing something like I'm doing, just
- 9:05in your day to day life. Time management is important, especially when it
- 9:11comes to making sure you have enough time for yourself. And if anything that
- 9:16you put on your calendar, it's make an appointment for yourself. Make an
- 9:20appointment to just sit and breathe, or you go outside, maybe you have
- 9:26a garden or go for a walk, or you go to the gym.
- 9:30Right, being sure, even when life is going on and there's a lot
- 9:35going on, a lot of pieces of parts moving, you still make that
- 9:39appointment with yourself. And I think with you, I shared that I didn't
- 9:43really realize it till recently, which was pretty funny to me that you know,
- 9:48we talk about meditation and just sit and be and breathe. And I
- 9:56was like, you know, I really and I think I s this year.
- 10:00I really don't think I'm giving enough. I don't I don't make time
- 10:03for meditation because I have been having so much going on. But then I
- 10:09thought about it and I said, you know what, every morning, I
- 10:13get up and I have the first thing I do, well, not the
- 10:16first, probably like the second thing I do. I go to the bathroom
- 10:18and then I get a hot cup of I make myself a hot cup of
- 10:26lemon water. It's first thing. It goes in my body when I get
- 10:31up, and I sit with that for like fifteen minutes every morning. And
- 10:39here I was telling myself, I'm not meditating on a regular and I'm doing
- 10:45it every morning. And I didn't. I didn't correlate those two things.
- 10:48It was just funny. When it finally hit me, I'm like, well
- 10:50you are actually, because it wasn't. It wasn't a oh, I'm going
- 10:58to go meditate because that's typically what we do, right. Oh, I'm
- 11:01gonna go meditate. I'm gonna go have my cup of hot lemon water.
- 11:07So the two didn't connect for me for a while. Even though I'd been
- 11:11doing it. I've been doing this for over a year and a half.
- 11:16Nice, it is funny. I have a question for you. So doing
- 11:20all this stuff, and I know you do your job and all that stuff,
- 11:24but this other stuff is like this is your passion, right, yeah,
- 11:28so this passion. And so in the evenings when you're spending the extra
- 11:31two to four hours, does it feel like oh, daunting at times or
- 11:35do you feel like you're just like, this is my passion, this is
- 11:39what's pulling me and driving me. You don't ever even don't even think about
- 11:41it's like exciting or how do you feel when you're doing this stuff? Just
- 11:45exciting? Exciting? Yeah? Yeah, So so even just so people know
- 11:50where I work is it's been fun. I mean, the days go by
- 11:54so fast and we laugh, we talk, we plan, we you know,
- 12:03we're almost like party planners and it's it's pretty fun. And like right
- 12:07now we're planning a two day event called Rhythm and Bruise and it's going to
- 12:13be over Father's Day weekend, and so like we're we just planning these big,
- 12:18huge parties, right they're fundraisers, but they're just big parties and so
- 12:24so that's fun because that actually I learn from doing that. I'm learning from
- 12:30my own business as well. Like some of the things that I that I
- 12:33learned from my job I implemented im planning this event I just had, So
- 12:37it was very it's very beneficial. I'm meeting so many people and making a
- 12:43lot of connections, but no so so I go do that and it's it's
- 12:48like easy. Like I've had. Every job I've had has been because of
- 12:54where I was at with myself, so stressful and you know, again perfectionism
- 12:58and people pleasing and fixing all the things, and the stress and the high
- 13:03demands on time and the deadlines and it just wasn't wasn't fun when I was
- 13:11doing it, and I knew it, but I did it for the money
- 13:13and I that's why I was there the benefits. But this job is it's
- 13:22lighthearted. It's ease and flow for the most part. You know, there
- 13:26are deadlines, but it's not like it's not brutal. Let's put it that
- 13:31way. So I just want to give that background so people understand that my
- 13:37job I'm actually I actually am enjoying my job. It's probably the first job
- 13:39I've had in my entire life that I've been enjoyed. So but that also
- 13:45has to do with where I'm at with myself. So with that, so
- 13:48I do that all day and then I come home and I'm like, Okay,
- 13:54I got class coming up. What needs to be done? Because I
- 13:58mean, every time I have a class, every time I teach, I'm
- 14:01helping other people, I'm helping transfer help make a transformation. I can't do
- 14:07it for them, but I get to contribute to their journey and their desire
- 14:13of what they're wanting in their life of change and transformation and and to be
- 14:18that guide. And so it's like it's more of a fuel than a than
- 14:22a then I have to So it's the get to. I get to do
- 14:28this and I'm good at it, and I know I'm good at it,
- 14:33and I know it's going to be beneficial, and so it's fun because I
- 14:37don't I mean, I teach a variety of things, and so it keeps
- 14:45it interesting for one, because I need variety. I know that about myself.
- 14:48If I'm doing the same thing over and over and over, I get
- 14:50bored and then I change it and then it gets all out of whack.
- 14:54And then I got to figure out how to fix that problem. So I
- 14:58just have a variety of topics they teach and it just keeps it interesting for
- 15:03me and I make connections with different types of people. Yeah. I just
- 15:09wanted to make it a point of it to say that because I think a
- 15:11lot of times we don't we don't even know what we're doing in life and
- 15:16if we're benefiting ourselves, if we're on our path or any of that stuff,
- 15:18and our passion is our path. Yeah. So it's like if you're
- 15:20doing all that stuff and you're funding and it's thrilling you, and it's it's
- 15:24exciting and all these things, that's what I want people to understand. It
- 15:28doesn't you're not just coming home and working and like, oh God, I
- 15:31got to do more of this so I can do this. You're coming home
- 15:33and doing it because you're excited about it, you like doing it, you
- 15:37thrive on it, you're not you like it. Probably get a resurge of
- 15:39energy by the time you get home after you've had that little time for eating
- 15:43and stuff like that, and then going back to it that you're like ready
- 15:46and charged up, and then you're grabbing a hold of whatever you gained information
- 15:50that day, knowledge, skills, whatever, and implementing it into your your
- 15:56your I was going to say your side hustle, but it's not your side
- 15:58hustle. It's it's it's your passions. So it's like it's important for us
- 16:03to recognize it's not like you're going out and killing yourself. You're actually you're
- 16:07because you're working many hours, but you do. It's not it's not this
- 16:11typical quote unquote work word type of environment. It's it's more of a passion
- 16:18thing. And when we're following our passions, it is with ease and grades
- 16:22and things are different. Do we have do we encounter some things? Yeah,
- 16:26but you just go. You you're opens, you're open because you're in
- 16:30your passion, so you're you're not restrictive, you're just open, you're creative,
- 16:33you're doing all those things. So it's like at that time, you're
- 16:36allowing all that information to come into you that what you need to do next
- 16:38is like we don't even have to think about what we have to do next.
- 16:41Having the lists are importance. They really are important. It's like getting
- 16:45to the grocery store and it's like what was I looking for? I forgot?
- 16:48Like you get there. You could have ran into someone and is like
- 16:49totally everything that you had stored up in this your ram and your brain here
- 16:55and it's like all of a sudden, you have a conversation with someone and
- 16:56it's like it's all gone away. So it's awesome because you're you know,
- 17:02we get, we get when I was, when I was working in full
- 17:06time jobs and you know, multitasking was always a thing because they wanted to
- 17:11you had to be a multitasker in order to be hired to answer the phone,
- 17:15take appointments, get you know, collect money whatever, talk to the
- 17:18doctor, what all the stuff that was happening at one time. And it's
- 17:22it's crazy to me, like you could go through all that environment, but
- 17:26it's not necessary, Like it's not unless it's your passion, it's not necessary.
- 17:32I just go back to the whole. If it's not a hell yeah.
- 17:34I keep telling people that it's a no, because it's like it's just
- 17:37that to me helped me recognize where the passion's at, because the hell yeah,
- 17:42passion yeah. And it's awesome that you're implementing time for yourself because it's
- 17:48and it's very important. It's very important. To put it on the schedule.
- 17:51I don't. I haven't been doing that, and so by the time
- 17:53I get done with things and then now I'm just decompressing when I get home,
- 17:56or I'm just whatever. Like you said, when you're around all the
- 18:00energies and stuff, you get home and it's like it's like almost a crash.
- 18:04I remember, it's been a long time and this has not been my
- 18:07experience, but I remember some speaker talking about how we protect our energy and
- 18:12all this stuff, because now that you're a speaker or you're on podcast and
- 18:17everything else, people are actually without even knowing they're doing it, can hook
- 18:21into your energy or pulling from your energy, like all these things. And
- 18:25I can't remember who it was that talked about it. So it's like,
- 18:27have you noticed anything like that at all, or like that you feel feel
- 18:30more drained certain days, or like last night, you probably were like buzzing
- 18:37by the time you got home, but tired at the same time. Right,
- 18:41Yeah, so yesterday, when I say it's a practice about keeping your
- 18:48energy high, it's a practice. And you know that just as much as
- 18:52I do. When you're in a room full of people and you're the main
- 18:55attraction, and keeping people's attention and keeping it light hearted. Yes, there's
- 19:00some heavy stuff that we had to move through, but holding holding all that
- 19:07space of that room, yeah, burst of energy. Like time flew by.
- 19:14It didn't even seem like I'd been talking that long, and oh,
- 19:17we gotta go to lunch, and then oh my gosh, it's time for
- 19:19Oh my gosh, it's the end of the event. You know, it's
- 19:22just like wow, so fast. And of course when we were in that
- 19:26that element of enjoying what we're doing or loving what we're doing, time just
- 19:32goes by so fast those things that we dread, right, it's like,
- 19:36oh, it's only been five minutes, feels like it's been three hours,
- 19:41which which makes me how so then in that case, it's like how do
- 19:45we maintain that milk that while you're in it and be in it without and
- 19:49so it slows it down a little bit. I just wonder, like so
- 19:52in my mind because like to stay in that space too. But it's like
- 19:56there's so much, there's so much, like you could I could probably ask
- 19:59you. We could probably have conversations for days just for the firm. Yesterday,
- 20:03Yeah, oh for sure, it's like super downloads, like we're going
- 20:06to give you all this information at one time, and then it's like I
- 20:08can only imagine how because I know how I felt, and those kind of
- 20:11things, because when you're when you're doing releases and you're releasing this stuff from
- 20:15you, it's like sometimes it's kind of some heavy stuff to look at,
- 20:18and it's it is working through those spaces. But the thing is when you
- 20:22do these groups, it's a nurturing environment. It helps it helps the persons
- 20:26that are there, first of all, recognize you're not alone. That was
- 20:30one of the great things that you've done. I remember doing the retreats or
- 20:34going to the retreats with you that you had set up, and how you
- 20:40would you would bring everybody into the group into like a circle and like okay,
- 20:45like they're in a circle. Okay, everybody that's experienced has come into
- 20:48a circle. And it's like almost every single time, everybody came into a
- 20:52circle, and it was like asking about just like death and sexual abuse and
- 20:59you know, all these all these cancer like all these things, and it's
- 21:02recognizing that we're not alone, but we keep these we compartmentalize that this these
- 21:07traumas what we would refer to as traumas, but they're emotional for us,
- 21:11and so we can't always we're not ready or able to handle it, maybe
- 21:15exactly at the time it comes in, so we put it aside so sometimes
- 21:18we can deal with it later. So it is a lot. There's a
- 21:22lot of stuff that goes on with everything. There's a lot of processing.
- 21:26But my god, afterwards, the freedom that you receive is phenomenal. But
- 21:30like I said, the biggest thing, and the other biggest thing that you've
- 21:33taught well was being And now I look at everybody in the eye, but
- 21:37you got to sit with our knees basically touching, touching the other person's face
- 21:41and looking him in the eye. When there is music playing and it's like
- 21:45people, you're strangers, you don't even know these people, and it's like
- 21:48most of the time, and I've ever heard my kids say, oh my
- 21:51god, they were just kept staring me in the eyes. I got uncomfortable,
- 21:55you know. But I also on the either side of that, I
- 21:57see the kids are people getting down and talking to the littles and like,
- 22:03do you understand, and it's like full on eye contact and they're wanting to
- 22:07look everywhere else because they're like they're like nothing more than an animal that feels
- 22:11like they're trapped, right, so it's fight or flight. They're either gonna
- 22:14bite you or run. Not really, but yeah, in those situations.
- 22:18But that's kind of how it feels. And it's like it just makes me
- 22:21kind of look back a little bit further, like where this stuff comes from
- 22:23doesn't necessarily mean that's where it came from for me or any of those kind
- 22:27of experiences. But we do carry so much stuff, and it's such subtle
- 22:32stuff. It's almost like dust in the dust off your shoulder, you know
- 22:34what I mean, Because once you're through it, it's like it was no
- 22:37big deal. It's like, oh now I understand. Oh everything now everything
- 22:41makes sense because I'm it's making sense because I'm understanding how it was that I
- 22:47got to where I'm at right now, how I gained so much information,
- 22:49how I wanted to gain more information because I didn't feel like I had enough
- 22:53in the first place, or especially like raising kids. Oh my gosh,
- 22:56I feel like I have so much more now. But then there's so much
- 23:00much more now, even for the kids, for foods and everything else,
- 23:03Like there's just so much more it's not just about how we talk to them,
- 23:07but it's a lot about all that stuff. So it's just like all
- 23:11this growth and it's phenomenal. It's phenomenal. So thank you, thank you
- 23:15for showing up, because if you didn't show up, I would never have
- 23:18shown up. And that's the truth. It is, it's the truth.
- 23:22I just didn't have it. I didn't have the confidence and I didn't have
- 23:25any of that stuff, and it's it's not something. And you were so
- 23:29patient too, and that's how you are such a great teacher because you kind
- 23:33of hand out the snacks, like the little tidbits of information, and it's
- 23:37like we can do whatever we want with it. Oh wait a minute,
- 23:38I don't have to answer the phone call every time it rings, every time
- 23:41that person calls learning boundaries, not even realizing I never had boundaries. You
- 23:47know, it's like something so so strange, and it's like then you go
- 23:51into these groups and you learn so much, You learn so much. It's
- 23:53such a benefit. I'm sure even like their vendors that were there were probably
- 23:57learning just massive amount of information. And it's like it's like a gateway.
- 24:02You know, we always talk about the gateways or portals and the eleven eleven
- 24:06and two twenty two or two to two and all that stuff. To me,
- 24:08when you have a huge group together like that and you're doing all the
- 24:11things, you're teaching, and it's open and you got this slow going through
- 24:15you, it's it's your receiving information. They're all receiving downloads. It's like,
- 24:18there's you're up you're upgrading. Whether you understood anything that was happening in
- 24:22that room or not, you you something is shifted inside of you and you
- 24:26may not even realize it yet. That's the that's the phenomenal parts about these
- 24:32groups and these gatherings that you do. So kudos Air five and that it's
- 24:41interesting and there's so much in what you just said. I'm like, oh,
- 24:42I talked about that. Well anyway, I don't write any notes down
- 24:47and I'm just listening to you. I'm like, so at the beginning of
- 24:52the event, I said, I said, you know, I just want
- 24:56you to take a moment right down your intentions. Why are you here?
- 24:57Wait, well brought you here? What is it you want? What do
- 25:02you want to shift? What do you want to change? What are you
- 25:03looking for? What tools right? What's your intention for this being here and
- 25:10you have twenty seven people sitting there writing right. Yeah, that was first
- 25:15thing at ten little after ten, and so I, uh, that's all.
- 25:25That was it. There was no conversation around it. Write down your
- 25:30intention? What do you want to get out of today? So at a
- 25:34little after three, after teaching all day, I asked you, so you
- 25:41you send an intention for what you wanted to get out of today? Was
- 25:47that intention meant? Twenty seven people nodded their head. And that is how
- 25:55the union And that's what I told him. I said, that's how the
- 25:56universe works. I did not ask each and every one of your what your
- 26:00intention is, and and I just write it down, put it out there,
- 26:04let the universe take care of it. It's gonna flow to me.
- 26:07Whether it comes through me, through the person next to you, from a
- 26:11vendor, from a conversation you have outside of this room, doesn't matter how
- 26:18you get it, you got it. And to have every person in the
- 26:23room nod their head, they got whatever their intention was, that's what it
- 26:30was for. There was there was one lady. We did an exercise where
- 26:37they got in groups of three and I had them, you know, just
- 26:42talk, talk, amongst each other, some of the things that they're hanging
- 26:47on to. No, that's not it. It was it was the eye
- 26:51contact one that you were talking about a moment and I had them I said,
- 26:56just face face the person in front of you and and make make eye
- 27:03contact. Don't talk, just sit and play some music. Listen, And
- 27:11at one point I said, see your sister. I had one man in
- 27:18the room of twenty six women, okay, twenty like one man in the
- 27:25entire love of like third that's awesome. And then I found out it was
- 27:32like seventy four or something. That was amazing. That's phenomenal. So I
- 27:38said that was when I said, see your sister. One lady just start
- 27:45crying, and I just kept on with my thing. You know, see
- 27:52your sister, see you and look in their eyes or be your brother.
- 27:59No, because you know, people like to talk. When those people like
- 28:00to talk, that's having avoidance because they don't want to be seen or they
- 28:07are trying to avoid whatever emotions are coming up, and so they start talking
- 28:12as a distraction. They distract themselves. And so I'm like I had to
- 28:17say that several times, see your sister without speaking right and being gentle as
- 28:25I'm guiding them through this, and when it was all done, of course,
- 28:29I asked, you know, what came up for you? What was
- 28:30it that I saw? I saw a lot of tears, so what was
- 28:34what were some of the things that were coming up? And the lady,
- 28:37the one lady, she said, all you said was sister. She goes,
- 28:42I've had a huge struggle with my sister, and then she proceeded to
- 28:47talk about it. So it could just be that one thing. And then
- 28:49I had another person, a young, young lady. I don't know how
- 28:53old she is, but I know she was probably under eighteen there and she
- 29:02she was there for most of the day with her mom, and then they
- 29:07were there all day and then they were there for the evening piece as well.
- 29:11And in the evening we had the sound bath. And just so you
- 29:15know, three quarters of the room had never experienced a sound bath, so
- 29:18that was huge to introduce them to that and also to the people who came
- 29:26to do the sound bath. You know, that's going to be beneficial for
- 29:29them and their business. But this girl, this young girl, you know,
- 29:34at the end, you know, I ask what what was one of
- 29:40the things that resonated with you? The most today and that was it.
- 29:44She was there all day and she's like the sound bath because she has some
- 29:48physical problems and she's that I've basically she had never felt that much rest in
- 29:55a long time. Nice. And it's and sometimes like that, like you
- 30:02go through an entire process and you're like, why am I here? What
- 30:06is happening? Why did I pay for this? And then that one thing
- 30:11at the end of the evening, bam, there it is right. So
- 30:15she may not have never experienced a sound bath on her own. It wouldn't
- 30:18even probably been in her wheelhouse, you know, not even an option for
- 30:22her because she didn't know what it is, where to get it, whatever,
- 30:26And here she had the opportunity and absolutely loved it. And there's no
- 30:32accidents right as far as I'm concerned, and from my experience, there is
- 30:34no accidents. It's all divine. There's there's always a reason, and we've
- 30:38talked about that recently, even to the point of whatever pops up into your
- 30:42YouTube, it's it's meant to there's something in there, one little nugget,
- 30:47and it may or there may be several, but there's always a reason that
- 30:51it gets your attention. It snags your attention right always. So that's pretty
- 30:56that's pretty great. That's pretty great, especially when you say about a young
- 31:00person like that too, and moving the energy is huge, It's huge.
- 31:06I had a client that I saw yesterday. I referred her to the acupunctures
- 31:08that I had been seeing. She I asked her if she had seen her.
- 31:12She said, I said, wait, don't wait, don't answer that
- 31:15yet, because I was just putting hands on her and I wanted to see
- 31:18what I felt. And I was like blown away how the hips were open
- 31:23and how they and they haven't been this whole time. We will get them
- 31:27to we've gotten her to a certain point. But that was it because I
- 31:32cannot that's not I can't even say that, because that's like limiting. It
- 31:37was for her to be able to go to this person. And this is
- 31:38why I'm bringing it up, because it's shifting the energy again. They're working
- 31:42on the energies of the Meridians and it's like the shoulder that we had gotten
- 31:45so far to where we had gotten it to so much better. Now it's
- 31:49one hundred percent. And that's just by shifting energy. And you talk about
- 31:53this young girl being there and having some body issues and then she hears that
- 31:59and then it's it's gonna shift something in there. It probably broke some stuff
- 32:01loose. I mean that's how it feels like to me. It just breaks
- 32:05stuff loose. You don't have to carry it anymore. And now you finally
- 32:07get to see what it is. And my god, when we when we
- 32:10get that stuff out of the way, it's again it's so free. It's
- 32:14so free you You then on the other side of that, it's like,
- 32:17oh, well, how do I behave now in this space? Sometimes when
- 32:21you process things because because the old way just doesn't even feel right or work
- 32:24at all anymore. So you because you've released things that you didn't know you
- 32:29were holding onto, patterns, thoughts, right, stuff you've just put in
- 32:34boxes with inside self. So it's it's pretty awesome. And then the most
- 32:38amazing thing is that you set up all this You had it all organized throughout
- 32:44the whole day in it and that's a big day. That's a big day.
- 32:46Now you've done retreats and how many people do you think you've had?
- 32:50What's some max you've had on the retreats, Because I know you've had a
- 32:52lot of people. I think it the other ones. When I did that,
- 32:55there was the most I had was I think, Okay, I was
- 33:01gonna say, I know it was up there. I know that it was
- 33:04up there because that was it and it's full day, two days, full
- 33:07events. Yeah, but it wasn't. That wasn't There wasn't as many moving
- 33:13parts in that as there was in this one. That's all I was gonna
- 33:15say is now you have vendors, Now you're planning on the sound, bath,
- 33:19you food, you, you know, all this whole thing throughout the
- 33:23day. So you didn't even organize your stuff. So now on the other
- 33:25side of that, did you enjoy it? The whole organization of all this
- 33:29stuff. Is that something that you want to do in the future or is
- 33:31that something that you'll delegate up to somebody else to do because you're going to
- 33:36put your focus into whatever. But you're very organized. That's why I'm asking
- 33:40these questions because it's like you're you're very organized and structured. That's your nature.
- 33:45It just is your nature. So from what it comes with, you
- 33:49know, it comes with over thirty years of administrative you know, detail,
- 33:53being in tough detail and having to be organized, but also when in in
- 33:59the world of marketing and stuff, you can repurpose a lot of your your
- 34:07content and and so it's like what I just said. Once, once I've
- 34:12been through the process, I've created checklists. I have these things, what
- 34:15worked, what didn't work, you know, all these these pieces. Now
- 34:20I can just repurpose that. I have a go to list, and I
- 34:22can just repurpose, maybe just change the name. But I already have the
- 34:25emails all set up. I already have all the marketing set up, and
- 34:30and so it's just like cut and paste. So it's it's a little quicker
- 34:36a lot of I mean, when I teach, it's like, oh,
- 34:42you know, in the past, being fresh and new to it, I
- 34:46want to tell everybody everything right now because they need to know all this stuff.
- 34:51They need to know all this stuff right Who's like an urgency. I
- 34:53gotta, I gotta, I gotta talk really fast because you need to know
- 34:57all this stuff and that right. And I I did. I talked super
- 35:00fast before, and this time I had just a few things written down that
- 35:07I wanted to cover and then the rest of it just flow. I'm like,
- 35:12well, they're going to get what needs to come through right now.
- 35:14And it's not. What I think they need is the universe is going to
- 35:15guide me to say what needs to be said and you to whatever their intention
- 35:22was, right, it's going to guide their intentions to be met one way
- 35:25or another because it was facilitated for them to be shown and proven that this
- 35:30is this really works, it really works to set your intentions. Yep.
- 35:36And then afterwards. I did have a couple moments where I was like,
- 35:39oh, I didn't say that, and oh, shoot, I probably should
- 35:42have said that. But then I'm like, but I didn't, And it's
- 35:46okay because if they want to continue with the journey with me, they'll hear
- 35:51it at some point, trust me exactly, really well exactly, and no
- 35:57matter what you gave them so much anyways, and it's like, after you
- 36:00know, a certain amount of time, we can't once we've processed so much
- 36:02stuff, it's like we're not processing I think, anymore as much as we
- 36:06were when it first started, with all the emotional the triggers and all that
- 36:09stuff. So there is that time for processing and digesting everything that you've just
- 36:14been through. And so to go back to your question that there was a
- 36:21lot of creativity in putting all that together. Even though I had, you
- 36:27know, maybe half of it already created and being able to go by,
- 36:35there was still some creativity in it because I added some more pieces to the
- 36:38event and so I'm like, oh, okay, well how am I going
- 36:42to fit this in and do this? And so there was still a lot
- 36:45of creativity involved. And that's what's important because we are creative beings and so
- 36:49being creative is still a big part of it. But now, even though
- 36:52I have all this stuff, the checklists, the contents, the emails,
- 36:57like, I have all that stuff, like set up, now when you
- 37:00think about, well, okay, what's next, because there's a next for
- 37:06me, it was always going to be a next. And that was that
- 37:10process actually started. I mean it started months and months and months ago,
- 37:15if not years ago. I've put the intention out there to the universe,
- 37:20and about a month ago I had a piece, a major piece show up.
- 37:25So now the next is okay, Now we got to get into our
- 37:30creative mode of setting this event up in a different way, in a different
- 37:35environment for a longer period of time, not just a day, but for
- 37:39through or four days. Yeah, and so so now I still get to
- 37:47be creative in that area and all this other stuff's already set up so nice,
- 37:58so exciting. Yeah, and that's just it, you know, it's
- 38:01just like we think. So when years and years ago, I think we've
- 38:08talked about this before, is you know, when somebody says, are you
- 38:14creative? Years ago, I would have been like, I don't know,
- 38:21because what would come to my mind of being creative was an artist like can
- 38:28you paint? Can you draw? No, it's draw stick figure almost,
- 38:32you know. I was like, if you would have asked me if I
- 38:38was creative, my answer would have been, non, I need step by
- 38:43step instructions. Don't ask me to visualize it and then try to create it,
- 38:46because it's it's going to turn out into a way bigger project than it
- 38:50needed to be because of the perfectionism and all the things. Right, But
- 38:54I recognized, I recognized a while back how much creativity it takes to be
- 39:02an entrepreneur. And I don't care what business it is. It doesn't matter
- 39:07what business it is. You have to be creative. So and that's just
- 39:13part of our nature and it's important that we keep that alive. Now,
- 39:16I could be creative in my business, which is, like you said,
- 39:22my passion and doing those things. I also get to be creative at work.
- 39:25I do a lot of their social media content and marketing, and I
- 39:30get to I could, I could if I wanted to. I've done it
- 39:34before, is be creative and take classes. I could go do a paint
- 39:37night, you know, and go enjoy a cocktail with my girlfriends or husband
- 39:43or somebody in a you know, in a different facility. So it's like
- 39:47keeping that alive is super important, I think for everybody. And you don't
- 39:54have to be perfect. You're going to learn along the way. If that
- 40:00was one thing that I could, I guess probably eliminate from my diet,
- 40:06that probably would be one of the things, because I do feel like that
- 40:08stopped me from doing so many things. I was always involved. I always
- 40:13liked art classes when I was younger, Always critical of myself, always always
- 40:17watching the next person and seeing what they were doing and judging myself that I
- 40:22so harshly because I couldn't do what they were doing. And I mean that
- 40:24was how it was for me growing up. So it's fun for me when
- 40:29the grandkids come over because now I don't have that and now I'm just doing
- 40:34it. And because and I'm saying. I tell the kids, like,
- 40:37it's just art. We're just creating. It's whatever we want to and we
- 40:40could create it one way and then decide, hey, I want to create
- 40:43something different from that. But we would never have known if we didn't start
- 40:45in the first place. Yeah. So it's like it's doing all those things
- 40:49and not shutting down from the perfectionism. To me, the perfectionism would shut
- 40:52me down a lot of times. I just I watched people painting windows and
- 40:58doing all that stuff, and it's like, oh God, no, Now
- 41:00you're putting yourself out there in front of people to watch you while you're doing
- 41:02this stuff, and it's like, oh, that's nauseating. That was nauseating
- 41:07to me. Before It's like, no way, And I don't know how
- 41:09I would be now. But now I'm just more playful with it. I'm
- 41:13just like, well, let's see what we can do. I don't know
- 41:14what I can do here, let's give her a try. Yeah. So
- 41:17it's awesome. But again, I wouldn't know the difference, right if I
- 41:22hadn't had the experience of the opposite, I wouldn't. So it's not like
- 41:25it was a bad thing. It was just it was a learning thing.
- 41:28And that's where the perfectionism kind of doesn't It just doesn't work because when we're
- 41:32learning something, it's not perfect. You're exploring all facets of it, And
- 41:37to me, that's perfect when you're exploring all of it and then you're coming
- 41:40out with a final end result whatever you're looking for, or even better,
- 41:45because I think most of the time, if we'd let it go, it's
- 41:47even better than we thought it would have been when we started out, when
- 41:51we were trying to control it, when we were trying to be perfect,
- 41:53and it's so frustrating. Then you sit and beat yourself up because you didn't
- 41:58meet the expectation of your perfection that you your ideal of perfection. So it's
- 42:02like and then it's a vicious cycle. Right, I've even caught myself.
- 42:07I've taught caught myself recently. It's like, I don't I felt just sitting
- 42:09here at my desk when I came in here to start this. I looked
- 42:13over at my grandkids and it's like, I don't think I've shown up the
- 42:15best for them. I could have the last the last week or so,
- 42:19just energetically, I feel like I could have shown up better, and it's
- 42:22like, ah ah, we're not going to go through and start beating ourselves
- 42:24up. And then, of course we had all of our conversation that we've
- 42:28had today, and it just reiterates that it is not about beating ourselves up
- 42:31because and I know this, because beating ourselves up keeps us in that space
- 42:35like why would I beat Why would I beat myself up when I've already beat
- 42:37myself up. It's like it's so silly, right, So it's it's like
- 42:42it's like punishing the child, giving them a spink and set them in the
- 42:45corner and then don't give them any dinner that night, you know what I
- 42:46mean. That's all ridiculous, but like mass punishments all night long, and
- 42:51it's like, well, would you do that to your child? Would you
- 42:52do that to your little girl? That's in the sight of you, because
- 42:54that's what you're doing every time you do that stuff. Yeah, I tell
- 42:58them they aren't good enough. Oh you got go do it again. You're
- 43:00not good enough. And it's not even a true story, because we are
- 43:04good enough. And it's recognizing that and it's valuable. And the more that
- 43:08we do that for ourselves, the more that everybody else gets to witness it
- 43:13and do it for themselves. Yeah, and instead of I mean even with
- 43:17the littles, but really with ourselves. Is in you know, if something
- 43:22doesn't work out very well, it's like it's not that it's wrong. Stop
- 43:29telling yourself that. Gosh, you didn't get that right, did you?
- 43:31Look how you did it wrong? Again? Hey, it just didn't work
- 43:37out. And look now we get to now we get to make an adjustment
- 43:43and try it again if we want to do it a little different and see
- 43:46how it turns out. It's the same damn thing. What a scientist does.
- 43:52They don't beat themselves up. Well, f well, that didn't work,
- 43:55did it. We just blew up the lab. Wow, good thing,
- 43:59we am in insurance. Let's rebuild it and then we'll just make an
- 44:01adjustment so we don't blow up the lab. Maybe just maybe just a what
- 44:07are those glass containers they use, like a baker or a baker, Maybe
- 44:14one of those will just bust. Okay, well we're getting better. Got
- 44:19to make another adjustment so things aren't exploding in our face. But the calls
- 44:22right, So I mean, really they do something, it's not the outcome.
- 44:30They adjust it's not the outcome. They adjust and how many times?
- 44:32And what was it? Was it Einstein? Not Einstein? I'm sorry,
- 44:37Franklin said, I learned a thousand ways how electricity doesn't work, which is
- 44:46awesome, not a big deal. We just but because we're programmed when we
- 44:52are younger that you did it wrong, you get the big fat red f
- 45:00and now you got a home and tell your parents, and then your parents
- 45:01beat you up, and you know, verbally, mentally or you need to
- 45:06do better, and why aren't you sitting still? Like you they're pointing everything
- 45:10out that's wrong quote unquote wrong. It's not wrong with you is, and
- 45:15so we internalize it. We that's our programming, and then everything that doesn't
- 45:21turn out after that, we see it as a failure. We see it
- 45:23that it's wrong and it's not. It just is. It's just okay,
- 45:28it didn't work out. Let's make an adjustment simple. And it's the same
- 45:35thing with every every class I do, every event I have, it's like,
- 45:42oh, well that didn't work out so well did it Well, we'll
- 45:45just do it better next time, or don't do it at all. Right,
- 45:49It's like you don't even have to do it again, like, we're
- 45:52just gonna take that out of the equation doesn't work. We're not going to
- 45:58just try to keep pammering it and to putting that square peg in a round
- 46:01hole. We're just going to say this piece doesn't fit with what I do
- 46:07and take it out. How is it? How simple is that? It's
- 46:09like, why do I want to keep pounding my head against the wall trying
- 46:14to figure out something out? If if I can't, or I present it
- 46:17to a mastermind group, this is what I had, this is what happened.
- 46:22What are your suggestions and pose it to other people because other people might
- 46:29have experiences that that you you don't have the knowledge of. Yeah, and
- 46:35that's why I stay in a mastermind group, because I have a group of
- 46:37people I can bring my stuff to and they can give me other viewpoints and
- 46:46then I can take what feels good to me and implement it or not.
- 46:50So so having a really good support group to be able to bounce things off
- 46:55of that's awesome and it really is important. I feel like there's a lot
- 47:02of value in that. I really do. We're not here to do things
- 47:07by ourselves. We are not you know, I have a person that she
- 47:12she keeps wanting to unify like the tribes and unify all this stuff. But
- 47:15I've watched her unified groups, and it's interesting when we talk about our paths
- 47:20and stuff like that. It could be so simple as just you're. What
- 47:23if I said, listen, you're to go out and unify the world.
- 47:27Your like to bring in your you're to bring us all together. And then
- 47:30if you tell someone that, it's like, what's that. I mean?
- 47:34That's not like, Okay, I'm gonna go sit and read cards all day
- 47:37long. You know what I mean. It's not something clear cut, but
- 47:39it's something that's a natural thing. And that in these natural things, I
- 47:43think people overlook them so easily because it's something that comes so easily and natural.
- 47:47And I think that's why we a lot of times will will take more
- 47:52into consideration. If it was a struggle initially to get into this place and
- 47:55now we've made it so it's like you accomplish something, but it's like it's
- 48:00it doesn't have to be that way. It can be as easy as just
- 48:02knowing okay, oh okay, So I can unify people, I can bring
- 48:07people together. Oh, I can uplift people. I can uplift them.
- 48:09No matter what I'm saying or doing, I don't. I can do whatever
- 48:12I want. Oh, that's like going to the grocery store or going to
- 48:16a store and going to pick out a blow driver, and there's fifty different
- 48:21blow drivers. It's like, oh, what do I do? There's too
- 48:23many options? Like right, so we can kind a panicky and go the
- 48:27opposite direction and kind of shrink back a little bit because there's so much instead
- 48:30of looking at it so differently. I wish I wish that when going through
- 48:36school, because I'm processing this stuff as you were saying things. When going
- 48:38through school, it was always a matter of being a perfectionist, trying to
- 48:44be perfect because and I wasn't. Believe me, I didn't. I didn't
- 48:47put the attention into it. I didn't have the desires for it. I
- 48:52didn't fit in it. I didn't the things that other people would do so
- 48:55well. I would like to do so well because I liked what the grade
- 49:00and the appreciation they got, and the kudos and the high fives and all
- 49:04that stuff. That's all the things that I wanted to as a kid.
- 49:07But it's like I didn't. I I was not in the right place.
- 49:10I was not in the right place. I felt like I was never supposed
- 49:14to be in the school. I was never supposed to be in that environment
- 49:17that It's from my perspective, it just seemed at that time was so harsh.
- 49:22Everything was so harsh, and I was even harsh in it because I
- 49:25had to be harsh. I felt like I had to be harsh in it
- 49:29to survive this. You know what I mean. You don't go out in
- 49:30your bikini to go play out in the freaking mud and go be a warrior
- 49:35and stuff. No, you're going to strap on all your you know,
- 49:38your armor and your protection and your weapons and all that stuff. And it's
- 49:43like I wasn't doing those things. I just didn't fit. But I but
- 49:46at the same time, I wanted to do my report just perfect, but
- 49:50I'd never put the effort into because I didn't have the tools or even then
- 49:53know how, the knowledge anything to even get from point A to point B.
- 49:58And it wasn't for long STI I thought I was just stupid. I
- 50:00really did. I'd and it's like I could understand spelling an English math was
- 50:06not a suit for me, which for whatever reason was some story because it
- 50:10was just a story that was being told to me or I heard overheard someone
- 50:15else, like I hear it all the time. I've heard it many times.
- 50:17Girls aren't good at math or usually better at English and spelling. Boys
- 50:21are good at math. And so it was never something that I striped for
- 50:24any of those kinds of things. But it wasn't my desire either. It
- 50:27was not my passions. It was not a hell yet it was a hell
- 50:30no all those things. But we still had to go through it and do
- 50:32it anyways. We still had to go through the school. We still had
- 50:36to go through those processes. And so I'll get back to the part where
- 50:37I wish I would have had an understanding that I was doing this just for
- 50:42learnings, just to see do I like this? Do I not like this?
- 50:45Because school, if we look at it, can be an opportunity just
- 50:50for us to try different things. No harm, no foul, you're being
- 50:53graded, so what. But the thing is, the stress was put on
- 50:57from the home for me because my sister was always a's and you know,
- 51:00straight a's and b's, and I was you know c's and d's, like
- 51:06I scraped by. It's the honest to god truth it's like because it was
- 51:09not my passion as a child, I could have told you that was not
- 51:13my passion if I knew what what that all meant at that time. But
- 51:16everything that I was doing then, it was doing it for everybody else because
- 51:20it was expected to go to school, you were expected to learn, you
- 51:22were expected to be in these groups. You're expected to do good good have
- 51:25good grades, do the work whether you liked it or not. Which is
- 51:30so crazy because now I'm at a stage in my life of almost fifty four
- 51:35and it's like, I'm not in a state. I'm not the person anymore.
- 51:38It's taken me fifty four years to say that I'm not going to do
- 51:40the things that I don't like doing anymore. I'm not going to do it
- 51:45just because I can. I'm not going to do it just because it was
- 51:46expected. I'm not going to do it because somebody else wants me to do
- 51:50it. I'm going to do it because I want to do it if that's
- 51:52my passion. But we didn't have that right for a lot of the things
- 51:57when we were younger. So it's kind of it's kind of crazy, and
- 52:00it's it's kind of crazy. It's kind of crazy when you look at that
- 52:02way. But again, I would not have discernment. I wouldn't know the
- 52:07difference between one or the other if I had not had those experiences. Now,
- 52:10I don't think I had to stay in those experiences as long as I
- 52:14did. But it's all divine, it's not by accident. And that's my
- 52:20story and I'm sticking to it for today. I can gain Amy could say
- 52:24something in a second and my whole everything shifts again. It's like, oh
- 52:29yeah, wow, I never thought about that way. And that's why it's
- 52:31so important to talk to other people, like minded people and to get your
- 52:37mastermind. Groups are very valuable. The group that you set up yesterday,
- 52:40the whole thing that you had set up very valuable, very important. Yeah
- 52:46yeah, And you know interesting is there was another exercise we did and I
- 52:52put them in groups of three and had them talk about the things they're hanging
- 52:58on to that they want to change. And in every group, so they're
- 53:06you know what eight eight groups or so nine groups that every group had a
- 53:15commonality. Oh yeah, you know, you just like and they get to
- 53:21like. I don't pair them up. They picked who they sat with or
- 53:25who they gravitated toward and in every group there was a commonality between them,
- 53:31and that just even more reiterates you're not alone. There are other people in
- 53:37the world having similar experiences, and when you have connection and community, things
- 53:44can change quicker. Right. We you and I both know like we were
- 53:49those independent quote unquote independent pre people who Nope, gonna do it on my
- 53:52own, I'm gonna prove you right. I'm gonna prove how good I am
- 53:55by doing it by myself, right, And we were that problem on our
- 54:00shoulders like general stars and and kind of takes longer. I'm just saying I
- 54:07know that from experience it took longer, but it was my path, it
- 54:10was Bev's path. Whatever. But I also know because I have been in
- 54:15communities and groups masterminds, that you propel quicker when you have the support in
- 54:23the community. Yeah, because there's some more information to help you blossom than
- 54:31trying to read. Like I know, I read way over one hundred books
- 54:37on personal development, spirituality and all the things. But because I was spending
- 54:40so much time reading and trying to soak it all in, I wasn't implementing
- 54:45it. When you don't implement it, it takes and you're just like,
- 54:50oh, yeah, I know that already, like a next book, Oh
- 54:52yep, know that already. Yep. I mean, it was just one
- 54:55after the other, one after the other. I was just I was just
- 54:59needing thoughts. I was needing more information, more information. No, I
- 55:01had the information, I just wasn't implementing it. So when you're in,
- 55:05when you're in communities, then they can you know, you can have a
- 55:12check in this is where I'm at, and this is where I'm heading and
- 55:14I'm not sure how to get there, and then you get input on oh,
- 55:16well you could do this, this or this or you know. It's
- 55:20just having that support and it it helps you move along way quicker than that.
- 55:25The avenue I took. It's true. It is very true. Very
- 55:32in my experience, I will say it was one hundred percent true. And
- 55:36I wanted to go back to even setting their intentions, got the be in
- 55:38the groups they were in. Yeah, that was going to facilitate and bring
- 55:43forward the that was gonna it was. It was part of the whole thing,
- 55:46right, It was part of the whole setup. Yeah, the universal
- 55:50setup, that's right. I just I was the facilitator. I was the
- 55:53guide and then you stop and think about that. There's twenty seven people.
- 55:58So but not even including your vendors. They were hearing your stuff, hearing
- 56:00what you were saying as well. You want to hear something awesome. This
- 56:05was great, Like this made the whole day. I'm not kidding you.
- 56:12I have twenty seven people in the room. I have two helpers and two
- 56:15vendors. Okay, so and then me. So those all the people.
- 56:21So there was a room, the main room we were in, and then
- 56:23there's a divider, and then there's a room where we were set We sat
- 56:28up dinner, the dinner like the food, but we sat in the main
- 56:32room. We had some tables set up and so anyway that divider was kind
- 56:37of was open. So then go and get their food, coming back into
- 56:39the room and sit down. And the caterer, I saw her in my
- 56:45peripherial sitting there and she was on her phone and I had it was talking
- 56:52about worry and worrying yourself like to no end and stressed out and what if
- 57:00everything's a catastrophe, right, And that was the topic I was talking about,
- 57:05and I was he was giving examples on all these things. After we
- 57:12we had to rec disperse after dinner so the people could come in and set
- 57:19up for the soundbath. We at that point is when the caterer, she
- 57:22was cleaning up, and she walked by me and she goes, I'm really
- 57:28glad I heard about heard you talk about worry. She said, my son
- 57:34got shot recently. He didn't die, but he got shot and we worried
- 57:38ourselves to death about what could have happened. Thank you for saying that.
- 57:46That's awesome. I was like, people listen. People are listening to conversations.
- 57:53They hear you. You may not always acknowledge it, like she could
- 57:57have. She could have never said anything to me. I would have never
- 58:00known that that helps somebody who didn't even pay to be there. Right,
- 58:04she's sitting in the other room, just tn't mind in the food and stuff,
- 58:10but she was listening, and it was like it was so good.
- 58:15Like my heart just like got so big because it was like amazing that she
- 58:20even shared that. So divine. It really is divine exactly. And to
- 58:25to to, I mean then you go backwards because you think my brain does
- 58:31this all the time, So then I go backwards. It's like I chose
- 58:35her to be there. For the catering I met her through her catering an
- 58:42event for our business for where I work, I chose to go to work
- 58:49there, Like all these things to lead up to this one person being impacted
- 58:52by something. She heard me say spirit, So to me, that's a
- 58:58that's all guided by spirit. That's all guide to buy our angels and God
- 59:00because they know they can see the our forward momentum. They can see all
- 59:05that. And what I was starting to say was all of this stuff,
- 59:08all these people that you affected that day, which weren't even just the twenty
- 59:13seven people, right, all those people that you affected. Now it goes
- 59:15out from there. It's like it's like a in my mind, it's not
- 59:20just a ripple anymore. It's like an atom bomb going off because it's like
- 59:23it's just kind of covered such a huge amount of area and it's going to
- 59:25go through so many people, and it's like and then it affects so many
- 59:30other people. It really is. It's really impactful, and it's really valuable.
- 59:35And it also goes to why it's so important for us to unify,
- 59:39why it's so important for us to come together, because we have so much
- 59:43to learn. And if you know it all, then you have show so
- 59:45much to share and teach, right so, and then during that path a
- 59:50lot of times they find out you still had a lot more to learn.
- 59:52So it's like this, this is an awesome journey. And that's what the
- 59:54whole process is, just to recognize all the amazing things that are happening.
- 1:00:00So it's always being in our in our power. And when I say in
- 1:00:04our power, in that power of God and that power of Creator that flows
- 1:00:08right through us and keeps us so connected because it fuels us. It just
- 1:00:12keeps that. It just flows right through is it's not something that we have
- 1:00:15to take from ourselves and deplete ourselves. We've got all this around us and
- 1:00:19we get to enjoy it so much, so much more. Today's talk has
- 1:00:23helped me a lot because it's helped me to recognize being in the now,
- 1:00:29not trying to try to control things at all, just letting it be and
- 1:00:34then watching how it affects it. Because even for my groups when they come
- 1:00:37together, I learn stuff all the time from it. It is awesome.
- 1:00:42And even on the times and I know you've you've you've gone through times where
- 1:00:45you have doubts and stuff like that, even when I have doubts about doing
- 1:00:49it anymore or doing something, I have people hitting me up like, hey,
- 1:00:52is this our we're meeting today? Right? Like what's going on?
- 1:00:55I see even with yesterday with our weather. I woke up if I shall
- 1:00:59show you a picture after we're done. But I talked about the weather yesterday
- 1:01:02morning. I well, if mine started Friday night. So I had brought
- 1:01:07my grandson up here and it's like the snow had gone away, right We're
- 1:01:12but we're pulling up here. We had driven through a little bit of snow
- 1:01:14on the way home, but we pulled up to the house, there's no
- 1:01:15still on the ground, and it starts snowing a little bit. I'm like,
- 1:01:19okay, like a little teeny tiny smaller than a pea size, like
- 1:01:22the base coat it was laying down. The next thing you know, it's
- 1:01:24sticking out there. And I'm like, I'm telling my grandson Colton, we're
- 1:01:29going in the house, and he says, no, Grandma, I'm not
- 1:01:30going in the house. I'm like, it's cold out here. We're going
- 1:01:36I'm not going in, Grandma. And I and it's like I didn't know
- 1:01:38what to do with that. First of all, because my process is my
- 1:01:40adults like m M, your Chad, don't tell me you're not doing something
- 1:01:45something. But on the other side, I was like, wait a minute,
- 1:01:47am I missing out on something because I'm worried about being cold? If
- 1:01:51he wants to be out in there, out there and it's cold and he
- 1:01:53doesn't feel cold right now, why should I make him come in the house
- 1:01:57because he's because I'm cold. So I grew, you know, I got
- 1:02:00a little bit warmed up, got some gloves on out there, and then
- 1:02:02the snow kept coming in, kept coming in, and he was not about
- 1:02:05to come inside. So we went out and played in it and had a
- 1:02:07great time until it was finally time to come in. Great We go to
- 1:02:13meet his parents afterwards, around seven or so, you know, it's been
- 1:02:16snowing this so Freeman drives me because he's got the Parol drive and we go
- 1:02:21over. We're getting close to where we're gonna take him to meet the kids
- 1:02:23at no snow, nothing at all, Like what the hell? So then
- 1:02:28I like, I already thought it was done. I thought it was done
- 1:02:30on Friday, like that was it. I didn't know we were gonna get
- 1:02:32other snow, And so then so then Friday night, more snow comes in,
- 1:02:37and I wake up Saturday morning and it's like we're in the clouds here,
- 1:02:39like you can't see there's still snow coming in. We have had received
- 1:02:43more snow that night, and I'm like, I'm going in. I'm going
- 1:02:46to town today. I don't care. And then I started getting all these
- 1:02:49people canceling and like I can't. I'm not gonna be able to make it
- 1:02:52in, and I'm like, hey, it's great, and even people just
- 1:02:54honoring and saying, hey, I'm just gonna stay home and enjoy the day,
- 1:02:58which I love because we not making excuses like I broke my toe,
- 1:03:02nol and I can't get my shoe on because my sock won't you know,
- 1:03:06keeps getting caught on it. Whatever bullshit story is right in order to get
- 1:03:09out of something. And I like it when people are just true and authentic,
- 1:03:12because I have nothing to say to that. Michael, thank you,
- 1:03:15thanks, thank you for being so true and authentic and standing in your own
- 1:03:17power and honoring yourself and enjoying that space. But yeah, it was kind
- 1:03:22of crazy, and I thought about you, and I kept wanting to send
- 1:03:24you a message, but I wanted to get a message to you early enough
- 1:03:27to the like like today's going to be a great day. And I know
- 1:03:30that it was going to be a great day, and it's like this isn't
- 1:03:32going to have an effect on it. And then you told me, tell
- 1:03:35me not only that there were twenty two people there, because that twenty two
- 1:03:37is what we talked about last, but you knew that there was more coming.
- 1:03:40There was twenty seven, but there was more than that, actually,
- 1:03:44twenty seven, twenty eight, twenty nine, thirty right, thirty one,
- 1:03:49okay, because you and you had said you had gotten the guess that it
- 1:03:53was going to be thirty five to thirty two thirty two. Yeah, so
- 1:03:59and so you're accuracy even knowing what was going to show up that you were
- 1:04:02what you were going to have a three with the lady of the catering.
- 1:04:08Nice because they're getting the information the whole time they were there too. It's
- 1:04:12just awesome. So great job. Yeah, oh my gosh, it was
- 1:04:17so amazing. I mean, I'm just gonna say real quick. You know,
- 1:04:20we asked the universe to to surprise and delight me every day. And
- 1:04:26I'm in my bathroom getting ready. We have a skylight in there, and
- 1:04:29I just kept hearing this, and now I'm looking around. What's leaking?
- 1:04:40There's something dripping? Where is it? You know, I can't find anything.
- 1:04:44I walk out of the bathroom. Nothing come back in the bathroom.
- 1:04:46I hear it and I'm like, oh, my gosh. And then I'm
- 1:04:49thinking, oh, it must be raining. Rain doesn't come down like that
- 1:04:53on a skylight. So that's out. And then very shortly after that,
- 1:04:57my husband comes in. He is and he chose me a picture on his
- 1:05:01phone. He's like, look what's outside. The ground is covered and I'm
- 1:05:09like, are you fucking kidding me? Right now? My For a second,
- 1:05:15my heart dropped. I'm like, no, this is not happening.
- 1:05:20This is not happening today. So anyway, it all worked out. Everybody
- 1:05:30who showed up, that's awesome. It was icing on the cake if you
- 1:05:34think about it. And then at the same time it was it was also
- 1:05:39a test. Could have been a test to the people that showed up,
- 1:05:42are they really going to show up for themselves? And that's a big deal
- 1:05:45because that's such an easy way out. Yeah, not necessary, but an
- 1:05:49easy way out. Oh gosh. I mean I could have if also send
- 1:05:54you the picture and I could have said, hey, I can't make it
- 1:05:56the challenge and everybody would have understood. But it wasn't as bad as what
- 1:05:59it looked. Really wasn't. So it's like and I already decided I was
- 1:06:02showing up and I and I have to say I was. Another compliment was
- 1:06:10one of the vendors said she would you know, was telling her friends that
- 1:06:15she was going to be at this event all day and you know, encouraged
- 1:06:20them to attend the event. And I had some people come drive four hours
- 1:06:26to come up to attend nice and I don't I didn't know them, they
- 1:06:30didn't know me. To a brand new but also the the vendors got to
- 1:06:36I had three signed up, one canceled, but the two had a prosperous
- 1:06:44day. One is just stepping into what she's doing and to this was her
- 1:06:53first event, so she was able in a safe space right and in trusting
- 1:06:59in me, kind of like your security blanket, and to have this event
- 1:07:06where she would have some guidance as well available and to do readings all day,
- 1:07:14so she got that experience and and just like teaching all day, doing
- 1:07:18readings all day, it takes a lot of energy. And then the other
- 1:07:24person who showed up isn't out like in the public eye doing readings, but
- 1:07:30I know she does readings and I know she's good at it, so I
- 1:07:31invited her to be there and she had a wonderful day too. So it
- 1:07:38was busy all day, and so, you know, it's just it was
- 1:07:42just so much, so much good comes came from it, so much benefit.
- 1:07:45And you know, sometimes sometimes when you're when you're doing something like this
- 1:07:54big to me, it was big. I think it's a big question sometimes
- 1:08:00did you do question? Is it worth it? Am I doing the right
- 1:08:01thing type of thing. I didn't stay in that and stewing it. It
- 1:08:05was just every once and I was like, is this really It's still really
- 1:08:10what I was supposed to be doing, or you know, is this my
- 1:08:13path? But then when you show up and in it, and how all
- 1:08:16the conversations and the and the accolades and the you know, just all of
- 1:08:21it, how everything turns out just having that one person who's the caterer sitting
- 1:08:27over here listening, it's worth it. It's worth it. Every single time.
- 1:08:30It's worth it. It's worth it. It's worth it. And then
- 1:08:33when I showed up in town yesterday. I had shown up. There was
- 1:08:36one person walking in and I'm like, well, there's only one other person
- 1:08:40coming in that I know about. So I said, she's gonna be a
- 1:08:43little bit and I was surprised, but it was. And then the girl
- 1:08:45the girls were like, this is the best group ever. I'm like,
- 1:08:47well, there was a s three of us. That was good for them,
- 1:08:50right, it was great. It's just it's just being in that space
- 1:08:54because it doesn't matter how many people are there. It matters how you're showing
- 1:08:58up and that you are showing up. Even sometimes when you think that you're
- 1:09:02lacking self confidence or or you you know, it's which goes along with a
- 1:09:08self doubt and everything else. But when you're in that space and for me
- 1:09:12looking at you, it's like, how could you ever even think that that's
- 1:09:15not the right path, but that that's an honest statement, because sometimes we
- 1:09:17get in those places and then sometimes it's to recognize when we start feeling those
- 1:09:23ways, are we with other people that are like a majority of people who
- 1:09:26are lacking self confidence? So now is this my energy or is this energy
- 1:09:30that energy there's but it's like triggering an old trigger that you might have like
- 1:09:34a teeny tiny little splinter compared to some of them have like a wedge still,
- 1:09:40you know what I mean, a wedge that's like like a wedge.
- 1:09:44But that's what I say. I'm like, how was just like a bigger
- 1:09:47piece of wood instead of a splinter? So you know, I went to
- 1:09:51the wedge. So here we are. Good day, and and it was
- 1:09:58and this is another added piece. So what we talked about earlier about having
- 1:10:02you know, being creative and having an even longer event. Several people at
- 1:10:09the end of it said, can we do this again? Can we do
- 1:10:13it like next month? I feel little soon, but we'll see even Yeah,
- 1:10:17but that's awesome. There was the conversation somebody brought up of I'd like
- 1:10:25to do this for like two days now. Mind you, in my head,
- 1:10:28I've already like I'm already on the next thing right doing And they're like,
- 1:10:33yeah, I would like to do this for like two days, And
- 1:10:36I said, what about three or four? Eyes got so they're like,
- 1:10:42what, like, yeah, I would do that. I would do that.
- 1:10:45So so that's you know, just in that that's a huge compliment of
- 1:10:49how the day went and reception or receptivity of it and the Yeah, it
- 1:10:57was just yeah, that's it's at the end of the day that my heart
- 1:11:01just gets so big and that's when I get choked up. Is when when
- 1:11:10when we're coming to the clothes and knowing all that information. So yeah,
- 1:11:15that's awesome. Yeah, worried too, I'm TEI like, I love it
- 1:11:21gives me goose bumps. Yeah, that's that's when it I just think it
- 1:11:27just like drops in so heavy. Yes, this is worth it. Nice.
- 1:11:34Thank you for sharing absolutely, thanks for being a supporter and and even
- 1:11:41just doing this, I mean this, this has been big commitment, right,
- 1:11:45chewing up every almost every week for almost four weeks. It's every time
- 1:11:49I say that, I'm like, wow, it's been that long already,
- 1:11:51geez. And then we just keep going. So even this benefiting people its
- 1:12:00own way, and knowing that, you know, even if people aren't subscribed
- 1:12:05to our channel, which I would highly recommend that you do subscribe, just
- 1:12:10saying that they're getting information from this and sharing it out. So it's not
- 1:12:16just the person watching, it's the person who's watching and then having the conversations,
- 1:12:20and so somebody has to have the conversation and That's what Bev and I
- 1:12:26did, is like we decide we were having the conversations, we just weren't
- 1:12:30recording them, and they say, hey, let's why don't we do this,
- 1:12:33and so we have the conversations here, but we also know these conversations
- 1:12:39are going out and helping. I don't know. Could be hundreds, could
- 1:12:44be thousands, I don't know, but I know it's helping at least one,
- 1:12:46so awesome. Well too, I would say it's helping maybe three because
- 1:12:51there's Bev and I because well wait, wait, you forgot me. I
- 1:12:59got a my proxy, yeah right, yeah, to make sure I'll be
- 1:13:04available to like that. I didn't even you know, I didn't even ask
- 1:13:06if you needed help. I never even asked. I never even And I
- 1:13:11feel like it's because a lot of I feel like you got it under control.
- 1:13:14But for the next time I'm offering up my help, I'll just have
- 1:13:17to especially if it's like that many days, I'll have to have notice ahead
- 1:13:20of time, which you're good about, but I'll have to block it totally
- 1:13:24off off my calendar because I get it's just it's been kind of crazy for
- 1:13:28my my schedules. So an event that big I would say, if it's
- 1:13:33two three days, you can plan on helping, but you can also be
- 1:13:39planning on being a part of it, which is I say, it's fine,
- 1:13:43but we'll get shut your face. Such a good talk everybody. It
- 1:13:46was nice talking to everybody. Get together. I feel like I'm finding my
- 1:13:54place in a lot of ways, finding my my man. It's probably maybe
- 1:13:58it's just my confidence, or maybe it's just me step and off the roof.
- 1:14:00I don't know. I don't know. I know I feel like I'm
- 1:14:02getting closer to a lot of things. So I will be there for you.
- 1:14:10Oh okay, support services. Well, you know the mama bird.
- 1:14:19You know how she gets her babies to fly? Right, Yeah, just
- 1:14:26kick them out of the bed, gonna fly or dives. Sister be free.
- 1:14:33That's right, Oop, she wasn't ready. Don't worry, we'll be
- 1:14:41next time. I got to get in a few months after you recover.
- 1:14:45That's right, I got the bandage is all up here. We're good.
