- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous. It's Lala Kent. Welcome to untraditionally, Laala, Hello, gorgeous,
- 0:06Speaker 1: Welcome back to untraditionally, Lala. I am in the mother
- 0:09Speaker 1: effing Twilight Zone today because I used to be on
- 0:12Speaker 1: this show. I don't know if you guys have heard
- 0:14Speaker 1: of it. It's called Vanderpump Rules, and we're no longer
- 0:17Speaker 1: on it. Me and my friends, well, I guess people
- 0:19Speaker 1: who used to be my friends, and they recast a
- 0:22Speaker 1: bunch of people who are still friends. Hi Natalie McGuire, Hi,
- 0:27Speaker 1: how are you.
- 0:28Speaker 2: I'm good.
- 0:28Speaker 3: I'm also in the Twilight Zone because I just, you know,
- 0:31Speaker 3: walked into SIRR to get a bartending job. And I
- 0:34Speaker 3: don't know what happened.
- 0:35Speaker 1: How long ago did you walk into SIRR to get
- 0:37Speaker 1: a bartending job?
- 0:38Speaker 3: I moved to La April of twenty twenty three, and
- 0:41Speaker 3: like my third week, I went to sir like in
- 0:44Speaker 3: workout clothes to see what it was like in real life.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Okay, so does that mean you were a fan of
- 0:49Speaker 1: the show.
- 0:50Speaker 3: I became a fan of the show like as I
- 0:52Speaker 3: was moving to LA and as I started bartending in
- 0:55Speaker 3: college because I had my own like crazy group of
- 0:57Speaker 3: people that I was working with. Okay, oh my god,
- 1:00Speaker 3: this is why there's a show about this. Everyone's nuts
- 1:03Speaker 3: that works in restaurants. Yeah, so started getting into the show.
- 1:07Speaker 3: My sister watched it, so that helped. I was like
- 1:09Speaker 3: a big Bravo fan, and I was like wow. When
- 1:12Speaker 3: I moved to LA because I went to school for acting,
- 1:14Speaker 3: it was there in New York. I was like, that
- 1:17Speaker 3: is probably a really interesting place to work and I'll
- 1:20Speaker 3: probably make money since there's a show about it. I'm
- 1:22Speaker 3: sure it's always busy. And also I would love to
- 1:26Speaker 3: work for Lisa vander Pump, Like who knows, you know,
- 1:29Speaker 3: she's one of the most famous restaurants tours in the world. Totally,
- 1:33Speaker 3: I just want to be connected to her, and that
- 1:35Speaker 3: was really my initial goal. I never thought when there's
- 1:37Speaker 3: a show about like an established friend group that's in
- 1:40Speaker 3: a different phase of life than me, why would I ever.
- 1:43Speaker 2: See a place for myself in that.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I didn't because so you're twenty seven. I
- 1:49Speaker 1: was one of the youngest cast members. Yeah, during vander
- 1:54Speaker 1: Pump Rules, I just turned thirty five this year. We
- 1:57Speaker 1: are in a very different stage of life than you
- 1:59Speaker 1: guys are in Yeah, what was the process of them
- 2:05Speaker 1: basically telling you, hey, we're still going to do vander
- 2:08Speaker 1: Pump Rules, but we're casting all new people.
- 2:11Speaker 2: No, we were in the dark. We never heard that
- 2:14Speaker 2: at all.
- 2:15Speaker 3: It was kind of like I was at work one
- 2:17Speaker 3: day and Gierma was pulling all of us individually to
- 2:19Speaker 3: take photos of us, okay, probably to send to production.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Was what was going around, is what I heard. And
- 2:29Speaker 3: I was so like, this is not happening. There's no
- 2:31Speaker 3: way it's happening. And then, you know, people just kept
- 2:35Speaker 3: talking about it for months, like I think it's going
- 2:37Speaker 3: to happen. People in the restaurant, yeah, like literally servers
- 2:40Speaker 3: and bartenders think, I think this is the direction that
- 2:43Speaker 3: they're going to go in, and I was like, there's
- 2:45Speaker 3: no fucking way the whole time until you know, then
- 2:49Speaker 3: we really started having conversations and I was still like,
- 2:54Speaker 3: this isn't happening, but I'll tell you about my life
- 2:57Speaker 3: and about like my relationships within the restaurant. And I
- 3:00Speaker 3: think everyone was really open in those conversations, and I
- 3:02Speaker 3: guess that's why they move forward. Because one day I
- 3:04Speaker 3: woke up, it was literally November twenty six. I woke
- 3:07Speaker 3: up and my phone was blown up with like the
- 3:09Speaker 3: headlines that the show was officially rebooting with a whole
- 3:12Speaker 3: new cast. Okay, and that was the first time I
- 3:15Speaker 3: knew that it was really happening.
- 3:17Speaker 1: We still didn't know who it was. So at that
- 3:20Speaker 1: point in time when we got the call, because I
- 3:22Speaker 1: think we got the call maybe a week before the
- 3:26Speaker 1: official announcement was coming out, and it was no surprise
- 3:30Speaker 1: to me that they were. There was a conversation of
- 3:36Speaker 1: we're thinking about bringing you all back for a final season,
- 3:40Speaker 1: season twelve. None of you guys have to film together
- 3:43Speaker 1: if you don't want to, we'll just show you guys
- 3:45Speaker 1: in your own you know, where you're at in life,
- 3:49Speaker 1: and it'll be maybe like six to eight episodes. And
- 3:52Speaker 1: like people would have loved that.
- 3:53Speaker 3: People missed that that didn't happen, or are said that
- 3:56Speaker 3: didn't happen.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I think that they were feeling it out. I know
- 4:00Speaker 1: that I said, I don't see any point in doing that,
- 4:04Speaker 1: and I'm sure the rest of the cast when we
- 4:06Speaker 1: were reached out to, was like, that sounds great. I
- 4:09Speaker 1: think I don't want to interest it.
- 4:10Speaker 3: It was like when you guys had that final reunion.
- 4:13Speaker 3: It's like this kind of feels like it's ending, but
- 4:15Speaker 3: like is it.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Yeah? It felt very over, Yeah, very over to me.
- 4:20Speaker 1: So it's interesting that you guys didn't know and production
- 4:24Speaker 1: and we Rivo didn't know who they wanted.
- 4:27Speaker 3: We were having these conversations for a long time, like
- 4:30Speaker 3: I think I think I had maybe I was twenty
- 4:32Speaker 3: five and the show just came out and I'm twenty seven.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I just turned twenty seven.
- 4:35Speaker 3: It was kind of a long process, Like I think
- 4:38Speaker 3: it was August we started having those conversations and then, uh,
- 4:44Speaker 3: I'm getting my dates mixed up August and then I
- 4:46Speaker 3: think it took like six months maybe until we knew.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Who it was and you got the call and they
- 4:51Speaker 1: were like, hey, we're Sport.
- 4:53Speaker 3: And they were like, we would love to have you
- 4:55Speaker 3: on this season of Die. I know, I think I
- 4:59Speaker 3: was just like, what the hell is going on? I
- 5:02Speaker 3: never I still haven't processed it because I really this
- 5:05Speaker 3: is my third year working at SIR so the whole
- 5:07Speaker 3: time we were filming, I mean, I got used to
- 5:10Speaker 3: cameras being around pretty quickly, Like I went to acting school,
- 5:13Speaker 3: Like didn't really FaZe me that much. All my relationships
- 5:16Speaker 3: were so real and also like falling apart. At the
- 5:19Speaker 3: time that my focus was like I just want to
- 5:21Speaker 3: be good in my job, right and with my friends.
- 5:24Speaker 3: So now it's coming out and I'm reliving it, and
- 5:26Speaker 3: I'm starting to process because now I'm hearing like comments
- 5:30Speaker 3: and opening my phone and seeing us and it's starting
- 5:33Speaker 3: to hit me, right, But like, I still have to
- 5:37Speaker 3: go work Wednesday night, you know what I mean.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Like it's really crazy.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It is. It is a very strange thing. Yeah, right
- 5:44Speaker 1: where I remember working at sir and then all of
- 5:47Speaker 1: this sudden it was like, here's a camera and people
- 5:49Speaker 1: are going to watch you work, and I'm like, I
- 5:51Speaker 1: don't even know what the hell I'm doing hostessing. This
- 5:53Speaker 1: is like the hardest job I've ever had in my life. Well,
- 5:55Speaker 1: you killed it, I crush, right, Yeah, does Diana still
- 5:59Speaker 1: work it? There?
- 6:00Speaker 2: No, she left, you know what.
- 6:01Speaker 3: I just like had a flashback of of when you
- 6:03Speaker 3: wore like whatever outfit and Lisa Mayde put the T
- 6:05Speaker 3: shirt on. But I feel like I wear crazy things
- 6:08Speaker 3: sometimes because I'm a bartender, So I don't like you
- 6:10Speaker 3: being honest. I can kind of wear my own thing
- 6:13Speaker 3: as long as it's like black totally. So I feel
- 6:15Speaker 3: like I kind of pushed that limit sometimes, yeah, but.
- 6:17Speaker 1: It's fun to push the limit. And without those limits
- 6:19Speaker 1: being pushed, you don't have a TV show.
- 6:21Speaker 2: True.
- 6:21Speaker 1: So we're two episodes in. How did people react to
- 6:26Speaker 1: the first episode? I mean, and on it be completely
- 6:31Speaker 1: honest in general?
- 6:33Speaker 3: Yes, in general, I think, you know, we'rather against you
- 6:38Speaker 3: guys who were like some of the greatest of all time.
- 6:40Speaker 1: So we did our best.
- 6:42Speaker 3: We really work together, we really know each other, and
- 6:45Speaker 3: like I thought it was interesting because there was so
- 6:48Speaker 3: much going on at the.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Time, but people were like, well.
- 6:52Speaker 1: It's not awful, it's not horrible.
- 6:55Speaker 3: That was a win.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I think that's a huge win.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Honestly, I think that they have to separate the groups,
- 7:02Speaker 3: the two the two, and everyone's like, well, I wish
- 7:05Speaker 3: it was a season one of a different name, and
- 7:07Speaker 3: it's just a stupid debate that really doesn't even matter anymore.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Well, it doesn't matter because all of these people who
- 7:13Speaker 1: have these genius ideas, right, is what they think is
- 7:17Speaker 1: a genius idea, they're they're just conversations that are a
- 7:21Speaker 1: waste of time because the network is gonna do whatever
- 7:23Speaker 1: they want to do. And honestly, when I watched the
- 7:26Speaker 1: first episode, it was definitely weird. H it was.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Definitely frick And even seeing that intro, with.
- 7:35Speaker 1: The intro the girl throwing the pedals, I was like, Oh,
- 7:38Speaker 1: I've done.
- 7:38Speaker 3: That before, literally that exact same thing, the same action.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Yes, But I think I think that you guys did
- 7:46Speaker 1: a really great job of carrying a first episode. And
- 7:49Speaker 1: it's gonna be hard for you because it's almost like
- 7:53Speaker 1: reality TV has existed for so long and Bravo has
- 7:55Speaker 1: gotten so big, yeah, that even a new city of
- 7:59Speaker 1: let's just say Housewives is always going to be looked
- 8:01Speaker 1: at as, Oh, they've watched Housewives and they like know
- 8:05Speaker 1: the drill and they're trying to be like they're trying exactly, yeah, exactly.
- 8:10Speaker 3: And I feel like, at least for me speaking for myself,
- 8:13Speaker 3: like I never tried to be any character person on
- 8:16Speaker 3: the show, you know, no matter what people think, Like,
- 8:18Speaker 3: we're not trying to be any of you guys, Like
- 8:20Speaker 3: it's a lot to juggle filming and bartending and working
- 8:23Speaker 3: and personal stuff like we kuld of think about how
- 8:28Speaker 3: do we how do we be like them? It was
- 8:30Speaker 3: just like what we signed up to do this? Excuse me,
- 8:33Speaker 3: let's just be real, right, But I think some people
- 8:36Speaker 3: actually held back and the people that were real are
- 8:40Speaker 3: the ones that are being talked about right now.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Okay, so you say that you you've basically grown up
- 8:46Speaker 1: in the arts, Yeah, did that prepare you for the
- 8:50Speaker 1: comments section that is now happening for you?
- 8:53Speaker 2: One hundred percent?
- 8:54Speaker 1: So you don't even care what people are saying. I mean,
- 8:56Speaker 1: I think I care when it's like a character attack.
- 8:59Speaker 2: It's more like if she's annoying, I can't stand her voice.
- 9:02Speaker 2: That stuff I don't care about.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Like, I think, when you grow up wanting to be
- 9:05Speaker 3: an acting or singing or whatever it is, you learn
- 9:08Speaker 3: to face rejection really young. So like the rejection is fine,
- 9:12Speaker 3: you don't have to like me. But I think when
- 9:13Speaker 3: I start getting accused of, you know, meddling in people's
- 9:17Speaker 3: relationships or stealing people's boyfriends or texting people's boyfriends inappropriately,
- 9:23Speaker 3: especially by people that really know me, that's where my
- 9:26Speaker 3: feelings starts to get hurt.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Because I always try to be a good person.
- 9:29Speaker 3: I'm not perfect, but people that know me know that
- 9:32Speaker 3: I'm a relationship girl. I've pretty much had one relationship
- 9:35Speaker 3: the whole time I was at SIR, and one situationship
- 9:38Speaker 3: with a guy that would come into sir and everyone
- 9:41Speaker 3: knew who he was, so it's like, what are you
- 9:44Speaker 3: guys talking about.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I feel like we're grasping at straws.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Yeah, watching this, I guess first and second episode. Is
- 9:51Speaker 1: there something so amazing about having a camera around because
- 9:55Speaker 1: you know when things are being said, you're like, oh,
- 9:58Speaker 1: I can't wait for this to air. I remember when
- 10:01Speaker 1: Jax Taylor told Brittany that I was hitting on him,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and I was like, are you kidding? And Brittany comes
- 10:07Speaker 1: up to me and she's confronting me and she's like,
- 10:09Speaker 1: oh my gosh, this girl is a whore. Everyone was right,
- 10:13Speaker 1: and then it airs and she gets to see his
- 10:17Speaker 1: behavior and how I was not exactly. You were new
- 10:21Speaker 1: on top of it and I was brand new. But
- 10:23Speaker 1: there's things that I'm watching like where I'm like, oh
- 10:27Speaker 1: my gosh, it has to feel so good for you
- 10:29Speaker 1: that the second episode, it's like flashback scene text message
- 10:34Speaker 1: being popped up.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I felt an insane amount of relief.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Yeah, isn't that so fun? Yeah?
- 10:39Speaker 3: But it's like crazy because these girls still believe what
- 10:42Speaker 3: they made up in their minds. It's like, you guys,
- 10:44Speaker 3: see the text now it's right. It's still difficult for
- 10:46Speaker 3: them to accept that I don't want their man.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I know, isn't that it's so crazy. It's this point,
- 10:52Speaker 1: it's kind of just to you problem, right, I can't
- 10:55Speaker 1: help you.
- 10:56Speaker 2: And that's why I.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Said And I forgot that I even said this, And
- 10:58Speaker 3: that's that's probably the funny part of watching everything back.
- 11:01Speaker 3: It's like, oh my god, I can't believe I said that,
- 11:03Speaker 3: But I love that when I said, like, I couldn't
- 11:05Speaker 3: hold in a thought if I tried, Like if I
- 11:07Speaker 3: really wanted Marcus, everyone would know about it.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Right, I can't shut up. I can't shut up either.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Give me a fresh set of ears to project into.
- 11:15Speaker 1: And I'm like the happiest camera.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I'm meeting, because literally how I.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Feel so everyone and their dog, everything about every since
- 11:22Speaker 1: the day I was born, Like, hello, let's go back.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Someone muzzle this bitch. What I want people to know,
- 11:40Speaker 1: especially listening to this podcast and just the Bravo fan base. Yeah,
- 11:45Speaker 1: two things that I that I have noticed where I go, Oh,
- 11:50Speaker 1: this show is gonna be really fucking good.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Okay, tell me.
- 11:53Speaker 1: The security cam footage of you losing your shit in sir,
- 11:57Speaker 1: you had I'm sure, you had no idea that you
- 12:00Speaker 1: cameras were down. You were not saying, God, this was
- 12:02Speaker 1: a week before because you were amazing a damn fool
- 12:06Speaker 1: of yourself. It was fucking awesome. It felt so real
- 12:09Speaker 1: and authentic. So that shows me, like, you guys are
- 12:12Speaker 1: not putting on for the cameras. I also love that
- 12:15Speaker 1: you mean you guys, but okay, you I love it.
- 12:19Speaker 1: She is me. I'm like, hold on, I'm a one
- 12:22Speaker 1: woman show, baby, lone wolf. Here, you are not putting
- 12:25Speaker 1: on a show. And I also love that you stepped
- 12:28Speaker 1: into this podcast studio and had like text messages and
- 12:33Speaker 1: receipts of yeah, I'm not playing DEMI like you guys
- 12:36Speaker 1: having a back and forth. Cameras are fully down right now,
- 12:39Speaker 1: but shit is still popping off. Oh my gosh, Vander
- 12:43Speaker 1: Pump Rules is alive and wow.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Yeah part two we're doing it all over again, just
- 12:49Speaker 3: new faces.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Can you share what was it, like, what the text
- 12:52Speaker 1: messages were about.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and she's probably gonna hate me even more, but
- 12:55Speaker 2: at this point, like.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Well we can't get her season thirteen, then you know,
- 13:00Speaker 1: I can't wait to be mentioned. You said on that
- 13:04Speaker 1: you're going to be playing La lah, you've read my
- 13:06Speaker 1: private text messages.
- 13:08Speaker 3: But it's like, look what you made me do, like
- 13:11Speaker 3: and sor right in the mirror. I would never have
- 13:14Speaker 3: to do this if you didn't put me in this position.
- 13:16Speaker 2: So you know, there's this whole debate going on.
- 13:20Speaker 3: You know, the first episode, I say, you, guys, my
- 13:25Speaker 3: ex is driving me crazy. Hence my meltdown in the
- 13:28Speaker 3: middle of sir. And by the way, it's because I
- 13:30Speaker 3: was with family and he wasn't. We weren't on speaking terms.
- 13:32Speaker 3: But then all of a sudden, he's like so sweet
- 13:35Speaker 3: to my whole family, and it triggered me. Oh so
- 13:38Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, we're going to play that game. You're
- 13:40Speaker 3: gonna pretend like everything's fine. Like if everything's fine, and
- 13:42Speaker 3: you're gonna like kiss my dad's ass all night, why
- 13:45Speaker 3: don't you speak to me and look me in the eye.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I think you would have lost your shit more had
- 13:50Speaker 1: he been a dick to your dad. I think, no
- 13:52Speaker 1: matter what, you would have lost him.
- 13:54Speaker 3: I think if he avoided us since we just weren't
- 13:56Speaker 3: on speaking terms because he's kind of a shy dude
- 13:58Speaker 3: in general. Yeah, I know, yeah, he didn't have to
- 14:01Speaker 3: like interact with my family, But I think he still
- 14:04Speaker 3: loved me and he wanted to He just knew that
- 14:07Speaker 3: we weren't able to communicate healthily at the time. Now
- 14:09Speaker 3: my dad's here, So what are you gonna do with
- 14:12Speaker 3: when the dad shows up?
- 14:13Speaker 1: Oh, you're gonna act right.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:14Speaker 3: So he acted right, and I was like, hmm, that's
- 14:17Speaker 3: interesting because.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I haven't heard from you in weeks. Someone blocked you
- 14:22Speaker 1: and you fully swatted them down in that secure I mean,
- 14:25Speaker 1: I was in Nearmo's face, like when I get to
- 14:27Speaker 1: that level, like it's it's bad and I'm working on it,
- 14:30Speaker 1: you know.
- 14:31Speaker 3: But anyways, so I say my ex is driving me crazy,
- 14:34Speaker 3: and under her breath, I didn't hear this that night,
- 14:35Speaker 3: she goes so funny that she says.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Her Rex, bitch, that's not your ex.
- 14:40Speaker 1: It's not I.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Think if we're gonna speak facts.
- 14:46Speaker 3: As I started coming into sir, she was coming out
- 14:49Speaker 3: of a five year relationship, and I guess loved coming
- 14:53Speaker 3: into sir and having a little secret flaying with Pawlo. Okay,
- 14:56Speaker 3: I so get that, like do what you can to
- 15:00Speaker 3: do coming out of your five year relationship.
- 15:02Speaker 2: I had no fucking clue.
- 15:04Speaker 3: But we're talking about the fact that he's a shy guy.
- 15:06Speaker 3: So from her point of view, this young cute girl
- 15:10Speaker 3: starts working at sir and this guy that usually doesn't
- 15:12Speaker 3: speak to anyone is now super interactive with this girl
- 15:15Speaker 3: next to him at the bar all night.
- 15:17Speaker 2: She was pissed, okay, but she's like, this is the
- 15:19Speaker 2: guy I come here and talk to and text all
- 15:21Speaker 2: night long and say.
- 15:22Speaker 1: But in her confessional, she says that they that she
- 15:27Speaker 1: and Paolo had broken up and you got with him
- 15:29Speaker 1: like a day later. Like, if I'm remembering correctly, she
- 15:32Speaker 1: did say that they were together.
- 15:34Speaker 3: They weren't together. They barely hung out outside of the restaurant. Well,
- 15:38Speaker 3: the text message is that you have in your phone
- 15:39Speaker 3: proved that exactly. So it's like they would hang out
- 15:42Speaker 3: during closing and like kiss and stuff whatever they were doing.
- 15:45Speaker 1: But how fun? How much fun? Right?
- 15:47Speaker 3: So it must be fun being a manager and having
- 15:49Speaker 3: to be there all night instead of being able to
- 15:50Speaker 3: go home.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Okay, so sorry, I love it.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Let's just get there because I'm tired of it. It's
- 16:00Speaker 3: not her ex okay, And I think you know he
- 16:03Speaker 3: was just tired of the cat and mouse chase with her.
- 16:07Speaker 3: She loved the game, Yeah, because she's getting out of
- 16:09Speaker 3: something just stale, totally dying relationship, and now there's like
- 16:14Speaker 3: this older guy that's like making her feel something. Yeah.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Once, and he's very sexy.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Very sexy. And that's why I dated an older guy.
- 16:21Speaker 3: I want to date like an ugly older guy. He
- 16:23Speaker 3: was not older guy.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Yes, no I didn't. I didn't say it.
- 16:27Speaker 1: That's a big age gap, by the way, for you
- 16:29Speaker 1: and him.
- 16:30Speaker 2: It's really big, you know.
- 16:31Speaker 3: I didn't realize how old he was when we started blurting. Actually,
- 16:35Speaker 3: the night that we made out, he told me his
- 16:36Speaker 3: age and I was like, whoa, yeah he's pretty old,
- 16:40Speaker 3: but you don't look it. So I'll I'm just gonna
- 16:42Speaker 3: keep drinking my margarita, pretend like I don't know.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Yeah, so you keep going down in age.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:48Speaker 1: So okay, So the text were where demmy admit that
- 16:54Speaker 1: like they were never together, right, Okay. So she also
- 16:57Speaker 1: called you like miserable or something, and I mean, she's.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Telling me she's going to threaten my life and she
- 17:01Speaker 3: has these apparent screenshots of god knows what, probably nothing.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I have nothing to hide. Seriously, I'll own my shit.
- 17:08Speaker 3: People love to say that I can't take accountability but
- 17:10Speaker 3: even in the first episode, I tell Chris next to me,
- 17:13Speaker 3: everyone's going to tell you I was crazy and screaming,
- 17:14Speaker 3: which is true, like I can take accountability. So she
- 17:18Speaker 3: sends me a text after we're doing press now, and
- 17:20Speaker 3: I'm gonna clear the situation up because you're not going
- 17:24Speaker 3: to say I stole your boyfriend when he was never
- 17:26Speaker 3: your boyfriend. Totally sorry that you guys had a fling.
- 17:29Speaker 3: This is what I was gonna say. And the game,
- 17:31Speaker 3: the game got old for him because he's too old
- 17:33Speaker 3: for it, and he just moved on.
- 17:34Speaker 2: He should have said I'm gonna move on. This timing
- 17:38Speaker 2: isn't right.
- 17:38Speaker 3: And like you're beautiful, but I just I don't see
- 17:41Speaker 3: a way forward right. Instead, she's a bitter bitch, saying
- 17:44Speaker 3: you were a second choice.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Not a second choice.
- 17:47Speaker 3: I got a text so long that I had to
- 17:49Speaker 3: open it after we've started, after we've started going, it
- 17:52Speaker 3: comes through in notes instead. I mean, I'm working a
- 17:56Speaker 3: brunshift and I'm like, are you serious?
- 17:58Speaker 2: Are you just mad that I'm doing Did you read
- 18:01Speaker 2: the whole thing? At first?
- 18:04Speaker 3: No, since I was working brunch, And then I had
- 18:06Speaker 3: to go to my gaze and say, we got to
- 18:08Speaker 3: read this message together.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the gaze always got the time too. Oh yeah,
- 18:12Speaker 1: I mean I go straight to my gaze. So I'm like,
- 18:14Speaker 1: I got a.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Novel for you, one hundred that's every day.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so that's what I did.
- 18:19Speaker 3: So she let me know I was a second choice,
- 18:21Speaker 3: and she told me, I thought you knew that, And
- 18:23Speaker 3: so I just sent her a photo of the wedding
- 18:24Speaker 3: rings that we used to wear.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I mean, we would like pretend to be married.
- 18:28Speaker 2: It wasn't legal, but we remind you.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Guys, cameras are down, this is none of this is
- 18:33Speaker 1: being and I said, and it's still happening. It is
- 18:36Speaker 1: so good.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Like I'm so tired, you guys, I have no voice
- 18:39Speaker 3: from her and I screaming at each other the other day.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Like that's why my voice issy. Thanks, Okay, I should
- 18:44Speaker 3: yell more of them. So anyway, so we'll get to
- 18:46Speaker 3: the point. I said, like a second choice. I'm so
- 18:50Speaker 3: sorry that you're distraught over the truth. I love you
- 18:53Speaker 3: and I know you would defend yourself if there were
- 18:54Speaker 3: lies regarding your character too, And she just said, are
- 18:57Speaker 3: you okay? Nothing is worth talking to you. I never
- 19:02Speaker 3: said that he didn't love you. And that you guys
- 19:04Speaker 3: weren't serious. You're batshit. I'm worried about you.
- 19:06Speaker 1: This is what she said to you.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I said, I'm fine. I'm not going to engage
- 19:11Speaker 3: in a text war. The days of you putting me
- 19:13Speaker 3: down constantly are over. Like, I am just so done
- 19:16Speaker 3: being belittled by her, because she talks down to every
- 19:19Speaker 3: single person ever, Like I'm done, I'm done being gasp lit.
- 19:23Speaker 3: She said, you are most definitely not okay, and everyone
- 19:26Speaker 3: even says it, concluding your so called friends. The only
- 19:28Speaker 3: difference is I tell it to your face that text
- 19:31Speaker 3: I sent you was a courtesy instead of me exposing you.
- 19:33Speaker 3: You have no idea the screenshots I have. Don't do
- 19:35Speaker 3: this to yourself. Seriously, don't. You will regret it so much.
- 19:39Speaker 3: I said, I have some of the best friends in
- 19:40Speaker 3: the world. But thank you so much for being so
- 19:42Speaker 3: courteous with your repeated threats. This is getting dark even
- 19:45Speaker 3: for you. This conversation is over. I'm very sorry we
- 19:47Speaker 3: ended up here, and I am because I love her.
- 19:49Speaker 3: I am very sorry this happened, but she did it
- 19:52Speaker 3: so Then she said, this is where I said, thank you.
- 19:54Speaker 3: You just outed yourself. I was never in love with Paolo,
- 19:59Speaker 3: and I never claimed I was. If I wanted to
- 20:01Speaker 3: be with him, I would have done it. He's my friend.
- 20:04Speaker 3: In capital letters. We had a fling. I've never tried
- 20:09Speaker 3: to claim otherwise. Did she watch the show or does she?
- 20:13Speaker 3: Does she have amnesia? Does she need medical help?
- 20:18Speaker 1: Like?
- 20:19Speaker 3: If you could actually read the text I sent you,
- 20:21Speaker 3: I mean I read it with the gaze, so I
- 20:22Speaker 3: had witnesses try to process it like an adult, you
- 20:26Speaker 3: would see exactly what I'm talking about.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Natalie.
- 20:29Speaker 3: You clearly you uh. I said that she's a straw
- 20:33Speaker 3: over the truth. No, Natalie, clearly you are. Otherwise you
- 20:35Speaker 3: wouldn't have responded to that text with only the rings.
- 20:39Speaker 3: I've told you how much he loves you and that
- 20:42Speaker 3: he and I were never meant to be together. I'm
- 20:45Speaker 3: just telling you facts, which is things that he has
- 20:48Speaker 3: literally said to me multiple times.
- 20:50Speaker 1: You are delusional.
- 20:51Speaker 3: The only reason I even text you the shit is
- 20:53Speaker 3: because talking to you in person is impossible, because I
- 20:55Speaker 3: can never get a warden because I'm not gonna.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Let you say bullshit in my face. Shut up, shut up,
- 20:58Speaker 1: shut up, shut up. I don't time to hear your bullshit.
- 21:01Speaker 1: So that's where we're at it's you said you love her,
- 21:04Speaker 1: I do, and all that You're not gonna be good
- 21:06Speaker 1: after this. We're already not good. Well you're about to
- 21:09Speaker 1: be not good. I'm just like, if.
- 21:11Speaker 3: You're gonna drag me, let's see you try. Like, I
- 21:16Speaker 3: don't think whatever she has, there's no way. It's like
- 21:20Speaker 3: as scary as she's making it out to be. I
- 21:23Speaker 3: literally couldn't imagine what it is.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Who are you closest with on the show.
- 21:26Speaker 2: I'm close with Venus for years.
- 21:28Speaker 3: That's your bestie. Yeah, we're super close. My one of
- 21:31Speaker 3: my gays. Yeah, yeah, it's one of the gays. And
- 21:33Speaker 3: then we have like a whole group. Now he actually
- 21:36Speaker 3: moved in with another one of our gays, so like
- 21:38Speaker 3: now they live together.
- 21:39Speaker 1: It's so condised that it's so fun.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Was it squashed the beef between I forgot their name,
- 21:55Speaker 1: Marcus and his girlfriend the one who says Venus and
- 21:58Speaker 1: him and them, No, the girlfriend of Marcus Kimberly saying
- 22:02Speaker 1: that Kimberly was saying that you would flirt with her man,
- 22:06Speaker 1: and it shows him on TV being like, no, we're
- 22:08Speaker 1: like brother and sister. But anything that you said that
- 22:11Speaker 1: I know does she finally believe you, because at the
- 22:13Speaker 1: end of the episode two, she's crying to you. I
- 22:17Speaker 1: hope either she ignored you about polish.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Yeah, and it like our toast looked really cute and
- 22:23Speaker 3: I wish she actually looked at them.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I love that you guys are making white polish like
- 22:28Speaker 1: not Oh, I see what you mean. You know what
- 22:31Speaker 1: I mean. Yeah, one of our cast members used to
- 22:33Speaker 1: wear white nail polish and like, no one could wear
- 22:35Speaker 1: white nail polish after that. Well, I was upset because
- 22:38Speaker 1: I'm like, white nail polish makes me look really tan.
- 22:40Speaker 3: That's exactly right, that's why it's so cute on the toes,
- 22:43Speaker 3: so cute on the toes.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Yeah, she ignored you with that, and then she's crying
- 22:47Speaker 1: to you. Yeah.
- 22:48Speaker 3: I'm like, I've been trying to talk to you guys
- 22:50Speaker 3: for months, and all you do is insult me, talk
- 22:53Speaker 3: down to me, Like I.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Don't get I don't get why they.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Feel so comfortable picking me apart, and that's why I
- 23:01Speaker 3: speak up for myself and then I get called a
- 23:03Speaker 3: name for that too. It's like it's a lose lose
- 23:05Speaker 3: situation for me, and I really don't know why I'm
- 23:09Speaker 3: just like trying to accept it. And I have my
- 23:11Speaker 3: other friends because at this point, I'm like, you guys.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Are fucking toxic, fake mean people.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I think that, No, it's easy to come for somebody
- 23:22Speaker 1: who will give it back to you. Yeah, right, Like
- 23:25Speaker 1: you're not timid, You're not a raging bitch. You probably
- 23:29Speaker 1: can be.
- 23:30Speaker 3: I mean, we all can have a little rage, just
- 23:32Speaker 3: if you bring it out of me and you hurt me.
- 23:34Speaker 3: That's the thing is it's all coming from like genuine
- 23:38Speaker 3: hurt feelings.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Would you say that you're probably the star so far
- 23:42Speaker 1: of vander Pump Rules reboot.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I hate that word.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I keep hearing that and I think it's such a compliment.
- 23:48Speaker 3: But the word I would use is the most vulnerable,
- 23:53Speaker 3: the most authentic. I mean, there are people having all
- 23:57Speaker 3: sorts of stuff going on in their lives while we're
- 23:59Speaker 3: filming that they won't even bring to the show.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Wait really Yeah, And.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I was like, if I'm going to do this, I'm
- 24:05Speaker 3: gonna I'm going to be one hundred percent me. I'm
- 24:09Speaker 3: not gonna you know, even in some of those last interviews,
- 24:11Speaker 3: especially when you know we met the network and they
- 24:15Speaker 3: met us, it wasn't just like Baskin and all of them.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Now, this was like a big boardroom of people meeting us.
- 24:21Speaker 3: I was telling them about my life and my childhood,
- 24:23Speaker 3: and they would say, is this off limits? Is this
- 24:25Speaker 3: off limits? I'm like, nothing's off limits. I want to
- 24:27Speaker 3: be in this room. If my life was off limit, totally,
- 24:30Speaker 3: my life is. I'm good with my life. I'm good
- 24:33Speaker 3: with myself.
- 24:34Speaker 1: How did your family feel about you signing up for
- 24:36Speaker 1: a show like this?
- 24:37Speaker 3: You know, my family situation is super complicated. I don't
- 24:41Speaker 3: know if you're going to see much about it this
- 24:44Speaker 3: season because it's just so much drama. And there are
- 24:48Speaker 3: other people that have like difficult family situations, and I
- 24:51Speaker 3: think that's more important right now than like my family beef.
- 24:55Speaker 3: But I don't have a great relationship with my mom really,
- 24:58Speaker 3: I've probably seen her and full of times in the
- 25:01Speaker 3: past seven years.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Now, has it always been that way, like since you
- 25:05Speaker 1: were a child?
- 25:06Speaker 3: No?
- 25:07Speaker 1: You know.
- 25:07Speaker 3: I think it's so funny because in the first episode,
- 25:09Speaker 3: I say, Ariana grew up in the neighborhood next to me,
- 25:11Speaker 3: which is true? And where is that in Bolgratone? Okay,
- 25:15Speaker 3: kind of near Miami, in between Palm Beach and Miami.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Oh you're a Florida girl. Yeah, And I think like
- 25:20Speaker 3: I did a lot of the same training programs as her.
- 25:24Speaker 1: And when I was a kid.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Like I was just so hungry to be like a
- 25:29Speaker 3: child star, be working. And I think she thought I
- 25:33Speaker 3: could be the next Ariana. And I think she treated
- 25:36Speaker 3: me like sometimes not like her kid and like her
- 25:40Speaker 3: protege or something. Okay, you know, so as I got
- 25:44Speaker 3: older that that didn't really play out well. As like
- 25:49Speaker 3: I went through being a teenager and like really needed
- 25:52Speaker 3: like guidance and a mom. And my stepdad raised me
- 25:57Speaker 3: since I was three, and they had a divorce in
- 26:00Speaker 3: high school and once they separated, it was.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Just like me on my own.
- 26:04Speaker 1: I failed out of high school.
- 26:05Speaker 3: All the people that I went to high school with
- 26:07Speaker 3: watching this me walking in that graduation was they did
- 26:11Speaker 3: me a favor. I did not graduate high school. My
- 26:14Speaker 3: senior year failed completely. I was completely depressed, pulling my
- 26:19Speaker 3: hair out, taking klonopin. In the middle of school. I
- 26:21Speaker 3: would wake up on my teacher's floors because I would
- 26:24Speaker 3: pass out from saying so much colnopin. I was a mess,
- 26:26Speaker 3: and my mom was just not present whatsoever.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Thank you, Thank you, I'm okay.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Well it seems okay, okay. I'm very impressed by you,
- 26:37Speaker 1: by the way, because for me, is it I remember
- 26:40Speaker 1: being twenty seven when I wasn't in a drunken stupor.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I got sober when I was twenty eight. But and again,
- 26:49Speaker 1: I don't know what you and the cast will go
- 26:53Speaker 1: through on this journey, but you know, yeah, I found
- 26:57Speaker 1: myself going through an addiction issue, hiding a relationship where
- 27:02Speaker 1: I was very much whether I knew it or chose
- 27:05Speaker 1: not to see it, whatever the nuances are of that,
- 27:07Speaker 1: but ended up in a position of being a mistress.
- 27:10Speaker 1: I ended up getting sober on the show, my dad
- 27:13Speaker 1: dying on the show. There's gonna be so much that
- 27:16Speaker 1: you guys will go through that's going to be documented.
- 27:19Speaker 1: And again I don't know you. I'm just meeting you
- 27:21Speaker 1: for the first time now, but I think that you
- 27:24Speaker 1: have a wonderful future and a lot of opportunity in
- 27:27Speaker 1: front of you if you take the bowl by the
- 27:29Speaker 1: balls and you just keep your eye on the price.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. And it's not even you know, I try
- 27:35Speaker 2: to think of my life in like a year's span
- 27:37Speaker 2: because it's all I can handle.
- 27:38Speaker 3: It's like, well, a year ago, I was just bartending
- 27:40Speaker 3: and kind of in a relationship that wasn't perfect and
- 27:43Speaker 3: figuring that out. Also, my dog had cancer, Like that
- 27:46Speaker 3: was terrible. I'm still like paying off those medical bills.
- 27:49Speaker 3: It was horrible. But you know, I rescued a dog
- 27:52Speaker 3: and it was my responsibility to take care of her.
- 27:55Speaker 3: So she's deaf in one year, she's perfect now almost
- 27:57Speaker 3: the year later. So yeah, now looking last year versus
- 28:00Speaker 3: this year, now it's like, well, this year, we're doing this.
- 28:03Speaker 3: You know, I'm closer with my good friends than ever, Like,
- 28:06Speaker 3: I don't need people like what you're seeing in my life.
- 28:10Speaker 3: And I think throughout the show, I beg them to
- 28:12Speaker 3: be good with me because I love them. I'm begging
- 28:14Speaker 3: us to just not have this drama and be okay.
- 28:17Speaker 3: And I think now now I'm learning that I can't
- 28:20Speaker 3: beg people to be in my life if they are
- 28:23Speaker 3: committed to misunderstanding me. There's nothing I can do. I
- 28:27Speaker 3: can get on my hands and knees and paint her
- 28:29Speaker 3: tolls white myself, It's there's nothing I can do.
- 28:32Speaker 1: No, But you guys are going to go through a
- 28:35Speaker 1: lot of ups and downs together. And I think, what
- 28:38Speaker 1: makes what makes life beautiful but also a successful show. Yeah,
- 28:44Speaker 1: is resilience within a group, because it makes it impossible
- 28:48Speaker 1: for a show to go on if things happen that
- 28:51Speaker 1: can't be forgiven.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Yes, which might be a problem, but it's not mine anymore.
- 28:57Speaker 1: No, well, you have no control over it. I hope
- 28:59Speaker 1: that the rest of the cast and you know, again,
- 29:01Speaker 1: we're what two episodes in, we'll see what happens. But
- 29:04Speaker 1: I hope that you can all find a way to
- 29:07Speaker 1: navigate like this newfound fame. Yeah, this weirdness of like
- 29:11Speaker 1: live your life, but let's document every second and then
- 29:14Speaker 1: we're going to edit it down. You filmed for four
- 29:16Speaker 1: hours today, it's going to be about two minutes.
- 29:18Speaker 2: It's it's that's a crazy thing to say too, Yeah.
- 29:21Speaker 1: To see how much gets Yeah, and yeah, I really
- 29:24Speaker 1: I haven't really had that experience.
- 29:25Speaker 3: But I was watching it with Audrey, who I'm also
- 29:28Speaker 3: really close with and met her before we started filming,
- 29:31Speaker 3: so then her and I just became even closer, and
- 29:33Speaker 3: Hermie and Venus were hanging out eating McDonald's last night,
- 29:36Speaker 3: like you know, oh, it's just the best. Yeah, So
- 29:39Speaker 3: they were watching them having like a manifestation session yeah,
- 29:44Speaker 3: which is adorable positive, which is what we need.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Yes, this group of people and.
- 29:49Speaker 3: They were like, wow, we really did that for so
- 29:51Speaker 3: long and that was like two minutes long.
- 29:54Speaker 1: It's a lot, right, You're like, damn, you can't get
- 29:57Speaker 1: married to any of your scenes? No?
- 29:59Speaker 2: Yeah, uh.
- 30:01Speaker 3: I think there's one thing that I know won't be
- 30:03Speaker 3: in it that I'm really pissed about. But I just
- 30:06Speaker 3: have to swallow it. Just swallow it, baby. Everyone loves
- 30:09Speaker 3: a swallower. I've heard at least.
- 30:12Speaker 1: What are you the most nervous about being part of
- 30:17Speaker 1: the show now and what people are going.
- 30:19Speaker 3: To see most nervous is it's crazy. I feel like
- 30:24Speaker 3: I'm most nervous about like picking up my lexapro on time.
