- 0:05Speaker 2: We believe.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Yeah, what a throwback.
- 0:07Speaker 2: I know it's going to say it feels so retro
- 0:11Speaker 2: come back. I have heard that it's around at the moment.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Got a few girlfriends who have been taken out by
- 0:17Speaker 2: the vida. Okay, do you have COVID calling thirty one
- 0:21Speaker 2: six five?
- 0:21Speaker 1: But when does it all just become the flu? It's
- 0:25Speaker 1: just another virus. Well, Brooklyn, you're on celebrity news again,
- 0:29Speaker 1: So here we go. I am Rebel Wilson had this
- 0:32Speaker 1: really big win in court yesterday. You might have seen
- 0:35Speaker 1: it on the news a little bit yesterday. So essentially
- 0:38Speaker 1: she was being sued by a younger actress for defamation
- 0:43Speaker 1: and it all was to do with a film that
- 0:45Speaker 1: Rebel had produced a few years ago called The deb
- 0:49Speaker 1: And see this movie No, I never saw it. In
- 0:53Speaker 1: it was this actress called Charlotte mckinness. She's twenty eight now,
- 0:57Speaker 1: and some stuff when down, and Rebel ended up posting
- 1:01Speaker 1: on her own social media at one point kind of
- 1:05Speaker 1: accusing the younger actress Charlotte, that she had made a
- 1:09Speaker 1: complaint like a sexual harassment complaint against one producer on
- 1:15Speaker 1: the movie and then took that complaint back because she
- 1:18Speaker 1: knew it would damage her career and so, you know,
- 1:21Speaker 1: I wanted to do the right thing and do her
- 1:23Speaker 1: own self interest. So essentially, Charlotte took it to court
- 1:28Speaker 1: for defamation and the judge after a long time, ruled
- 1:32Speaker 1: that no, there was no defamation there, but also one
- 1:36Speaker 1: rebel one and he's kind of clear the younger actress
- 1:40Speaker 1: is considering an appeal at this point. But it was
- 1:44Speaker 1: funny because in the case, the judge described all three
- 1:47Speaker 1: witnesses as not that reliable anyway, So it's kind of
- 1:52Speaker 1: I know, they're kind of judging the end that the think.
- 1:55Speaker 1: The judges said, look, you guys, just get out of here.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Yeah, so wasting time, wasting.
- 2:00Speaker 1: And also famous director Christopher Nolan. He did Interstellar, Oppenheimer
- 2:06Speaker 1: and he's done The Odyssey at the moment. Yeah, now
- 2:10Speaker 1: there are certain things on set that he really doesn't like.
- 2:15Speaker 1: He was chatting to CBS Mornings in the US and
- 2:18Speaker 1: he was confronted about the one thing that he has
- 2:21Speaker 1: been and that was brought to light by Anne Hathaway.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Have a listened, and then Anne Hathaway says something interesting.
- 2:28Speaker 3: She said, Chris has no eggs on the set.
- 2:30Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 2:32Speaker 3: Literally as the slippers.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Yeah, the slippers.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Yeah, sometimes acts will turn up because the footwear, so
- 2:37Speaker 3: they'll turn up in these biggest, fluffy, comfy slippers.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I have a couple, yes.
- 2:41Speaker 3: And the funny thing is you can be on set
- 2:44Speaker 3: where you've got, you know, a guy holding a microphone,
- 2:46Speaker 3: you've got a giant camera, you've got a crew everywhere,
- 2:49Speaker 3: but something like that can actually weirdly take you out
- 2:52Speaker 3: of okay. And for me, I think that's always been
- 2:55Speaker 3: something where, you know, it's like if someone's eating a
- 2:57Speaker 3: bag of chips off camera or something. You know, there
- 2:59Speaker 3: are certain things to just remind you you're in the
- 3:03Speaker 3: real world as opposed to the world we're trying to
- 3:05Speaker 3: create for the actors of Oh.
- 3:06Speaker 2: My god, what an absolute piss take. If I'm on
- 3:10Speaker 2: set for like fifteen hours a day as an actress
- 3:14Speaker 2: and I'm not being shot or whatever, and this guy
- 3:17Speaker 2: is trying to tell me that I can't sit in
- 3:18Speaker 2: the corner and eat my chips in my ugg boots, Yeah,
- 3:21Speaker 2: what a what an asshole?
- 3:22Speaker 1: But you've got them right now. Y's appropriate footwear to
- 3:26Speaker 1: a commercial radio steps. I do because I'm here trying
- 3:30Speaker 1: to give the entertainment news and I'm being distracted by
- 3:33Speaker 1: your weir la see my feet.
- 3:36Speaker 2: You're lying
