  Speaker 1: It's time for the actual tournament. You say, we're in

  Speaker 1: round one. We pass the preliminaries. Oh oh yeah, I

  Speaker 1: mean of course we did. With me around How could

  Speaker 1: you possibly lose. Magnus says, uh right, well, let's go

  Speaker 1: get some breakfast. You head downstairs to the main lobby,

  Speaker 1: where you have a pretty amazing Continental Hotel breakfast, as

  Speaker 1: you usually do. Then you check one of the screens
• 3:23
  Speaker 1: to see where you're set to battle, but it indicates
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: that you're in main battle Arena three. You haven't been
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: in one of the main battle arenas before, so you're
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: interested to see what it looks like. You pull up
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: the map, check the location, and then head outside. Outside
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: you summon your magical wings card, and you and Magnus
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: fly high above all of the people and things below.

  Speaker 1: From up above, it's also easier to tell where the

  Speaker 1: battle arena you're looking for is because it, well, it
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: looks a lot more like the map you were looking at.

  Speaker 1: You spot a very large building off in the distance,
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: surrounded by smaller battle arenas, and you fly directly toward it. Below,
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: you see streams and streams of people headed into the arena.

  Speaker 1: They must be spectators ready to watch your battle. The
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: whole idea of that many people watching makes you a
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: little bit nervous. You soon spot another entrance that's labeled
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: for competitors. You float down and land in front of
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: the door planes present your credentials. A robotic looking person says,
• 4:51
  Speaker 1: you produce your ID card from your card core. Understood,
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: you will be taking part in the first mas of
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: the day. Please proceed through the doors to dressing room one.

  Speaker 1: When it's time for the tournament to begin, the doors
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: will open and you will enter the main battle stadium.

  Speaker 1: Oh okay, got it, you say. You make your way
• 5:21
  Speaker 1: down the hall and into a large and very empty
• 5:26
  Speaker 1: dressing room. What do we do now, Magnus asks, I

  Speaker 1: guess we just wait, you say. As you sit down
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: on the bench, you can hear the crowd getting louder
• 5:43
  Speaker 1: and louder from outside the dressing room, and soon the
• 5:48
  Speaker 1: doors open. Well, I guess the time, buddy. Are you ready?
• 5:54
  Speaker 1: Am I ready? I was born ready? Those other creatures
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: better watch it. I can probably defeat all of them
• 6:02
  Speaker 1: on my own. You won't even need your other cards.

  Speaker 1: Oh good, you say, but at least I have them

  Speaker 1: just in case. You head out the main doorway and

  Speaker 1: enter into a gigantic arena. It's on a completely different

  Speaker 1: scale from the other ones you've battled in so far.

  Speaker 1: There are stands covered by some sort of protective force
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: field with thousands or maybe tens of thousands of spectators
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: that look like they're from all different planets. There's floating
• 6:43
  Speaker 1: cameras and drones circling around the battlefield, a giant holographic
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: screen displaying close ups of well you and Magnus walking
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: in in this case, along with your power readings and
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: no card abilities. There also seem to be several alien
• 7:04
  Speaker 1: announcers commenting from little floating glass booths that make their
• 7:10
  Speaker 1: way around the arena. One of the announcers is playing
• 7:15
  Speaker 1: over the speaker. Our next competitor is something of a
• 7:20
  Speaker 1: historical curiosity, the first cardholder from Earth to enter this
• 7:26
  Speaker 1: tournament in over one hundred years. That's Roy Gary. The

  Speaker 1: Earth only recently reopened its Deity level protected area. Until then,
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: the most powerful cards were stored off world, primarily in
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: their lunar zone. Very interesting indeed. Now on the other
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: end of the tournament's stadium, we have a crowd favorite Vorlax.

  Speaker 1: You look across the stadium to see an enormous blue
• 8:06
  Speaker 1: alien with four arms, a wide head, and tiny little
• 8:13
  Speaker 1: legs that never touch the ground because he's floating on
• 8:17
  Speaker 1: a hell a high tech looking chair he looks lazy,
• 8:23
  Speaker 1: but he's clearly an experienced tournament cardholder. You make your
• 8:29
  Speaker 1: way to the center line of the stadium, where a
• 8:32
  Speaker 1: referee walks towards you. We'll hurright, everybody, good to have
• 8:38
  Speaker 1: you here. Now, I just need to go over the
• 8:42
  Speaker 1: rules of the competition. As you probably already know, each
• 8:48
  Speaker 1: competitor is going to select three creature cards. Only one
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: magical creature card can be active at any time. When
• 9:01
  Speaker 1: a creature is defeated, it will, of course automatically return
• 9:06
  Speaker 1: to its card, and your opponent will receive one point.
• 9:12
  Speaker 1: The first card holder to get two points by defeating
• 9:17
  Speaker 1: two of the other person's creatures will win. A victorious
• 9:23
  Speaker 1: magical creature can remain for the next round, or it
• 9:28
  Speaker 1: can be voluntarily withdrawn. Now, please make way to your
• 9:34
  Speaker 1: protected areas. You nod and understanding, and you and Magnus
• 9:40
  Speaker 1: head to the back of the arena. Do you stand
• 9:44
  Speaker 1: inside a circle and a force field immediately appears around you,
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: shooting all the way up to the top of the arena. Magnez,
• 9:55
  Speaker 1: understanding that he's obviously going to go, first, steps forward
• 10:00
  Speaker 1: and begins to evolve. He moves through all of his
• 10:05
  Speaker 1: evolutions this time, first transforming into a bipedal dragon, then
• 10:13
  Speaker 1: growing larger into a traditional fire dragon, before growing into
• 10:19
  Speaker 1: an incredibly sized mythic dragon, and then shrinking down a
• 10:25
  Speaker 1: little bit to his deity level, a black dragon with
• 10:31
  Speaker 1: veins of pure sunlight energy, and of course, a connection
• 10:37
  Speaker 1: to pretty much every element. At this point, Vorlax lights
• 10:42
  Speaker 1: up his cardcore from across the arena, light streams out
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: of it and forms itself into a gigantic blob of
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: slime or something, a huge living slime creature. It honestly
• 11:03
  Speaker 1: resembles a giant pile of snot or something like that. Competitors,
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: are you ready? You nod to the referee in agreement,
• 11:16
  Speaker 1: Vorlax nods as well. A shield appears around the referee
• 11:22
  Speaker 1: and he floats up into the air. Then we will
• 11:27
  Speaker 1: begin in three two one go. Magnus doesn't hesitate at all.
• 11:38
  Speaker 1: He takes a huge breath and unleashes a blast of
• 11:43
  Speaker 1: solar fire. It hits the slime directly and causes it
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: to explode into a whole bunch of different pieces that
• 11:54
  Speaker 1: fly all over the arena. They hit the walls, they
• 11:59
  Speaker 1: hit the sh shields, they hit the ground, the ceiling,
• 12:04
  Speaker 1: and well, a few of them even hit Magnus. Ah cross,
• 12:12
  Speaker 1: Magnus says, quickly, trying to rub off the slime, he
• 12:16
  Speaker 1: sets his entire body on fire to try to burn
• 12:20
  Speaker 1: it away. Then all of the little balls of goo
• 12:27
  Speaker 1: begin to move, transforming into smaller versions of the slime
• 12:33
  Speaker 1: itself and moving back down towards Magnus. One by one,
• 12:39
  Speaker 1: they spring off of the surfaces they've landed on and
• 12:44
  Speaker 1: shoot directly at the dragon. Magnus attempts to dodge. He
• 12:49
  Speaker 1: moves out of the way, swings his tail, bats some
• 12:53
  Speaker 1: of them to the side, but others collide with his body,
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: creating really nasty looking goobers all over him. Oh it's
• 13:04
  Speaker 1: is disgusting, Magnus says. Then he lights up into a
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: bright white light, as bright as the sun itself, and
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: the little pieces of slime begin to boil and then
• 13:22
  Speaker 1: completely melt away off of his body. Unfortunately, more slime
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: starts to approach. Magnus looks to the little water feature
• 13:34
  Speaker 1: inside the arena, reaches out with his mind, grabs the water,
• 13:40
  Speaker 1: and begins flying it all over the arena. He splashes
• 13:45
  Speaker 1: as many of the creatures as he can and instantly
• 13:49
  Speaker 1: freezes the water into ice. As they attempt to attack again,
• 13:55
  Speaker 1: Magnus shoots a column of earth up around his body
• 13:59
  Speaker 1: and i'll different directions and continues to attack using the water.
• 14:05
  Speaker 1: Creature after creature is well frozen solid and unable to move.
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: But well, there's just too many of them. Magnus gets
• 14:17
  Speaker 1: hit from behind with a ball of slime. He can't
• 14:21
  Speaker 1: quite figure out exactly what it does, but well, it
• 14:26
  Speaker 1: doesn't feel very good. In response, he decides to go
• 14:32
  Speaker 1: well nuclear. Magnus lights up a bright white color again,
• 14:40
  Speaker 1: until an aura that creates a sort of mini sun
• 14:45
  Speaker 1: around him begins to burn. Everything in the arena becomes
• 14:51
  Speaker 1: incredibly hot. The ground melts into lava, the water evaporates.
• 14:59
  Speaker 1: All of the plant life, and grass and trees spread
• 15:03
  Speaker 1: throughout the arena almost instantly incinerates. Even through your protective shield,
• 15:12
  Speaker 1: you can feel the heat. But luckily for you, it
• 15:17
  Speaker 1: does seem to work. The little goobery creatures start to
• 15:23
  Speaker 1: disintegrate themselves, and soon, in a flash of light, the
• 15:30
  Speaker 1: creature disappears and reforms into its cardcore. Ladies and gentlemen,
• 15:38
  Speaker 1: we seem to have a winner. One point awarded. The
• 15:44
  Speaker 1: crowd jeers the cameras spin around Magnus as he allows
• 15:51
  Speaker 1: the heat to dissipate from the arena as he turns
• 15:56
  Speaker 1: the floor into well obsidian. As he often leaves arenas.
• 16:02
  Speaker 1: The place is completely destroyed after such a powerful display
• 16:07
  Speaker 1: of heat magic. But well, at least the slime creature
• 16:12
  Speaker 1: was defeated. But Magnus suddenly doesn't look so well. He
• 16:19
  Speaker 1: takes in a deep breath and unleashes a gigantic sneeze
• 16:25
  Speaker 1: that brings fire with it. Ah, I suddenly feel really
• 16:32
  Speaker 1: dizzy and really sick. He sits down on the ground. Ah.
• 16:41
  Speaker 1: Maybe that's what the creature's powers were. You say you
• 16:46
  Speaker 1: defeated it before it defeated you, but it seems like
• 16:51
  Speaker 1: it still impacted you. Ah well, let's get on with
• 16:57
  Speaker 1: the next round, Magnet says, because I need a nap,
• 17:03
  Speaker 1: A buddy, I think it's probably better if you take
• 17:07
  Speaker 1: a nap now you don't look so well, And if
• 17:10
  Speaker 1: you get defeated in the arena, then well we lose
• 17:15
  Speaker 1: a point a fine. Turn me back into a card,
• 17:23
  Speaker 1: and with that you know that Magnus really isn't feeling well.
• 17:27
  Speaker 1: He hates being a card. You reach out with your
• 17:31
  Speaker 1: card core and recall the creature. He transforms into a
• 17:37
  Speaker 1: bright blue energy, then zips across the arena and slams
• 17:43
  Speaker 1: into your card core. Your opponent, Vorlax, produces another creature
• 17:50
  Speaker 1: from his card core, a gigantic armadillo that looks like
• 17:57
  Speaker 1: it's covered in titanium. You think about all of your options,
• 18:03
  Speaker 1: all of the deity level creatures you have, but your
• 18:08
  Speaker 1: mind lands on one in particular, one that, uh well,
• 18:15
  Speaker 1: is almost as difficult to defeat as Magnus Dominic. Dominic
• 18:24
  Speaker 1: the dingo your card core glows, A stream of blue
• 18:30
  Speaker 1: light shoots out of it and forms itself into a
• 18:34
  Speaker 1: dingo that's well about twice the size of a wooly
• 18:39
  Speaker 1: mammoth Dominic. He immediately summons a sort of stone armor
• 18:47
  Speaker 1: around his body, and vines shoot up out of the ground.
• 18:53
  Speaker 1: We will begin round two men three two one go Immediately,
• 19:05
  Speaker 1: Dominic begins to summon clones. They are energy clones, exactly
• 19:12
  Speaker 1: like most magical clones are. Dominic's clones are a little
• 19:18
  Speaker 1: bit different. Each one is actually a different version of
• 19:24
  Speaker 1: Dominic from a different timeline, a different possible reality that
• 19:31
  Speaker 1: never came to be. The clones start to appear all
• 19:36
  Speaker 1: around the arena surrounding the Titanium Armadillo. Each one looks
• 19:43
  Speaker 1: a little bit different than the others. One has dark
• 19:48
  Speaker 1: stone armor, another has really long claws. Another is covered
• 19:54
  Speaker 1: in thick vines rather than any kind of stone at
• 19:58
  Speaker 1: all some of them. Some are different colors too. There's
• 20:02
  Speaker 1: a silver one, a dark black one. There's one with
• 20:08
  Speaker 1: glowing blue eyes, and another that looks rather battle scarred,
• 20:14
  Speaker 1: a slash across one of his eyes and a whole
• 20:17
  Speaker 1: bunch of scars across his body. Dominic disappears, He activates
• 20:26
  Speaker 1: his camouflage ability and well presumably sits to watch the battle.
• 20:33
  Speaker 1: After all, Dominic has never been one to get involved
• 20:38
  Speaker 1: entirely on his own. When his clones can do the job,
• 20:42
  Speaker 1: he saves his own involvement for more important situations. In
• 20:48
  Speaker 1: an instant, the Titanium Armadillo begins to flash across the arena.
• 20:55
  Speaker 1: He moves quicker than you can possibly see, and in
• 20:59
  Speaker 1: a flash, one of the clones turns back into energy
• 21:04
  Speaker 1: and disappears. In another flash, the armadillo rolls across the
• 21:10
  Speaker 1: arena and crashes into another clone, the one covered in vines.
• 21:17
  Speaker 1: Clearly the Armadillo's fast, lucky for you, though, Dominic has
• 21:24
  Speaker 1: never been one to you know, accept time as it is.
• 21:30
  Speaker 1: After realizing what's happening with the other clones, the remaining
• 21:35
  Speaker 1: ones shift their awareness into a new rate of existence,
• 21:41
  Speaker 1: a much faster rate of existence. Though from your perspective,
• 21:48
  Speaker 1: the battle simply transforms into a bunch of flashes that
• 21:53
  Speaker 1: shoot from place to place. You catch a glimpse of
• 21:57
  Speaker 1: one of the Dingoes every now and then, or the
• 22:00
  Speaker 1: Titanium Armadillo, but in general they're all moving too quickly
• 22:05
  Speaker 1: for you to perceive. A few more of the clones
• 22:09
  Speaker 1: are destroyed, but they do add a couple scratches to
• 22:15
  Speaker 1: the armadillo. In the meantime, you see the Titanium creature
• 22:20
  Speaker 1: reappear behind two of the clones and slash them with
• 22:26
  Speaker 1: his claws. The two clones disappear, transforming back into energy,
• 22:34
  Speaker 1: leaving only a few clones behind. The armadillo flashes across
• 22:41
  Speaker 1: the arena, again appears in front of another clone, and
• 22:45
  Speaker 1: then freezes in place as a strange sound passes across
• 22:53
  Speaker 1: the arena, a beautiful sound, Dominic. The Dingo, the original one,
• 23:04
  Speaker 1: reappears behind the Armadillo, its mouth open, letting out an
• 23:11
  Speaker 1: incredibly soothing sound. The armadillo seems content and well, sort
• 23:20
  Speaker 1: of stunned for a moment, And at that exact moment,
• 23:26
  Speaker 1: every one of Dominic's remaining clones suddenly appear beside it.
• 23:32
  Speaker 1: An unleash, a swape of their claws, a bite of
• 23:37
  Speaker 1: their teeth, a smash of their tail. The armadillo was
• 23:42
  Speaker 1: wrapped in vines, hit with stone attacks, and pummeled until
• 23:49
  Speaker 1: it eventually cracks. Then, in a flash, Dominic, the original one,
• 23:58
  Speaker 1: disappears from where he's stay and reappears with his mouth
• 24:03
  Speaker 1: around the armadillo. He crushes its armor, and soon the
• 24:10
  Speaker 1: entire thing transforms back into blue energy and shoots into
• 24:16
  Speaker 1: your opponent's core. The crowd cheers. Well, ladies and gentlemen,
• 24:25
  Speaker 1: I believe we have a winner, second point awarded match over.
• 24:34
  Speaker 1: The crowd cheers. The protective force field surrounding you disappears.
• 24:42
  Speaker 1: When you walk back towards the center of the arena.
• 24:47
  Speaker 1: You call Dominic back into your card core. His remaining
• 24:52
  Speaker 1: clones glow, rejoin Dominic, and then Dominic himself begins to
• 24:59
  Speaker 1: glow and shoot into your cardcore. The announcer's voices appear again,
• 25:07
  Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, I believe we are making history here again.
• 25:15
  Speaker 1: A competitor from Earth, once again, the first competitor in
• 25:19
  Speaker 1: over one hundred years from Earth at the deity level tournament,
• 25:24
  Speaker 1: has just defeated a tournament favorite, Vorlax. You put your
• 25:32
  Speaker 1: hand out towards Vorlax, ready for a handshake, but instead
• 25:38
  Speaker 1: Vorlax turns his nose up, spins around in his little
• 25:42
  Speaker 1: flying chair, and leaves the arena. Uh okay, you say,
• 25:50
  Speaker 1: walking towards your dressing room door again. The doors open automatically,
• 25:57
  Speaker 1: and as you walk inside, the noise of the crowd
• 26:01
  Speaker 1: gets quieter and quieter. You head out of the dressing
• 26:08
  Speaker 1: room door and down the competitor's hallway. You leave the
• 26:13
  Speaker 1: building and immediately summon your magic wing card, allowing you
• 26:19
  Speaker 1: to float high up into the air and back over
• 26:23
  Speaker 1: towards your hotel. Seeing all sorts of people crowded outside
• 26:30
  Speaker 1: with cameras and microphones and that sort of thing, you
• 26:35
  Speaker 1: decide it might be better to avoid crowds right now.
• 26:40
  Speaker 1: You spot the balcony for your room. You fly directly
• 26:46
  Speaker 1: over to it and land on the porch. You scan
• 26:51
  Speaker 1: your key card, the door unlocks and you enter inside
• 26:56
  Speaker 1: the building. You immediately collapse ups onto the bed. The

  Speaker 1: lights turn off. You close your eyes, and with each
• 27:08
  Speaker 1: breath your body starts to sink down deeper and deeper
• 27:15
  Speaker 1: into the mattress, And with each breath your mind begins
• 27:23
  Speaker 1: to wander off to thoughts of new dreams, new deity
• 27:30
  Speaker 1: level cards, and new adventures to come. Good night, everyone,
